00:01:11.000 Turning point USA.
00:01:13.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:01:21.000 That's why we are here.
00:01:25.000 Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandTodd.com.
00:01:34.000 We have Mr. Kane from citizenfreepress.com.
00:01:38.000 Now, Kane, a lot of politics to talk about, but more importantly, college football weekend, one of the best college ball weekends that I've seen in quite some time.
00:01:45.000 Now, I'm a huge duck fan, producer Andrew, UW, all respect.
00:01:50.000 To be perfectly fair, I saw I was very worried on thought crimes.
00:01:55.000 I was like, Washington is a team that can win.
00:01:57.000 They had something, they had an edge.
00:02:00.000 And man, it's too bad.
00:02:01.000 Bo could have won the Heisman.
00:02:03.000 But Kane, I know you watched a lot of college football this weekend.
00:02:07.000 I want to get your impressions.
00:02:08.000 And then to the great injustice that the college football committee gave us on Sunday morning.
00:02:15.000 Kane.
00:02:16.000 Yeah, it was a fantastic week.
00:02:18.000 It was a fantastic weekend for football, without a doubt.
00:02:21.000 And you're right about that Washington-Oregon matchup.
00:02:24.000 It really was Bo Nixon's chance to take the Heisman away from Michael Pennix.
00:02:30.000 And people, you know, longtime readers of CFP know that the side has run out of Bloomington.
00:02:36.000 So we had Michael Penix for three years at IU.
00:02:39.000 He only transferred before last season to Washington when Kaylin DeBoer went there.
00:02:45.000 And so Bloomington people, we watched Michael Pennix, you know, very, very closely.
00:02:50.000 And that game, I know it had to hurt.
00:02:52.000 You know, Oregon was the favorite.
00:02:54.000 I'm not exactly sure why, considering that Washington had beat them earlier in the season, but that was a heck of a game.
00:03:01.000 And there's so much.
00:03:02.000 You know, so I'm going to go to Florida State before I go to anything else.
00:03:07.000 You have to.
00:03:08.000 That's the big story here.
00:03:09.000 It's an injustice.
00:03:11.000 Yeah, the problem was everybody in the nation was watching them and they were watching them play a not very good Louisville team.
00:03:18.000 Hell, Indiana almost beat the Hoosiers finished four and eight this year.
00:03:23.000 And I have a brand new coach, by the way.
00:03:25.000 I'll give a shout out to Coach Signetti, and he's going to turn Hoosier Nation around.
00:03:30.000 But Indiana almost beat Louisville.
00:03:33.000 Louisville is not that great a team.
00:03:35.000 They almost got beat, or they did get beat by Kentucky two weeks ago.
00:03:38.000 And so everyone happened to be watching.
00:03:40.000 That third string quarterback didn't look very good.
00:03:43.000 I think people forget that the second string guy has looked much better and he's going to be back for the bowl game.
00:03:50.000 So Florida State, you know, they're angry.
00:03:55.000 Yeah, then they should be.
00:03:56.000 I want to play some tips.
00:03:56.000 So for the in the audience, they say, what's going on?
00:03:58.000 So anyway, let me just explain to you.
00:03:59.000 Florida State went undefeated and in a Power 5 conference, ACC.
00:04:03.000 They lost their quarterback and they got snubbed out of the 14 playoff.
00:04:07.000 It's awful.
00:04:08.000 Let's play Cut 17 if you think you're having a bad weekend.
00:04:10.000 Play Cut 17.
00:04:12.000 2014 were heartbroken, devastated, and I'm sure there is a lot of anger in Tallahassee as a result of this.
00:04:22.000 Now, here's what I would have done if I was Mr. Norvell, the coach of Florida State.
00:04:26.000 He didn't play this right.
00:04:27.000 in my opinion.
00:04:28.000 Now, this is PR politics stuff.
00:04:30.000 He should have called for some political.
00:04:31.000 As soon as they won the game, Kane, he should have, on that camera interview, he should have looked right into the camera and say, we are watching you, committee, and don't even think about not having us in.
00:04:42.000 And then, as soon as they were snubbed, I know this sounds crazy.
00:04:45.000 Norvell should have called for his own playoff.
00:04:47.000 They could play it.
00:04:48.000 Think about it.
00:04:49.000 There's four great teams that didn't make the playoff, Florida State, Georgia, Oregon, and Ohio State.
00:04:54.000 They could have had their own playoff.
00:04:55.000 They could have done at their own stadiums in total defiance to the bull system and be like, let's go play Georgia.
00:05:00.000 He literally could have been like, we're going to go.
00:05:02.000 And they are playing Georgia now in a bowl game, but they could have said, let's do our own playoff.
00:05:07.000 Anyway, Kane, final thoughts, and we'll get back to politics.
00:05:10.000 Yeah, I don't mind talking about this stuff at all.
00:05:12.000 In fact, there was a great tweet yesterday that said that the college football committee decision hasn't been fully implemented that Mike Pence could still stand up for freedom and democracy and prevent it.
00:05:27.000 You know, other people said Florida State should boycott the bowl game and then just show up with pads, sort of, you know, boycott officially, but then show up to play.
00:05:36.000 Oregon is getting screwed, right?
00:05:38.000 Oregon is a top team.
00:05:39.000 They're playing Liberty.
00:05:41.000 Liberty went undefeated, but Liberty is the, you know, everyone knows about Liberty.
00:05:45.000 They're in Lynchburg, Virginia, but I don't think they're going to, I think, you know, Oregon's going to put up 55 on Liberty in that game.
00:05:53.000 Ohio State, they sort of get forgotten because they didn't play this weekend, right?
00:05:58.000 And they've drawn Missouri.
00:05:59.000 That's going to be an interesting game.
00:06:00.000 Missouri kind of was a sneaky, you know, had some sneaky skills in the SEC.
00:06:07.000 We talked about Oregon and Liberty, Liberty.
00:06:09.000 Florida State is going to get Georgia.
00:06:12.000 So how does Florida State approach that game?
00:06:14.000 You know, Georgia's pissed off, right?
00:06:16.000 They go from winning 29 straight to losing one game and suddenly they're in sixth.
00:06:21.000 So I'll say this.
00:06:22.000 I don't know how much time we have, but I'm looking forward to next year when we finally have, I don't know if it's eight teams or 16 teams.
00:06:29.000 12, 12, 12.
00:06:30.000 It would have sucked.
00:06:31.000 Honestly, what the committee should have done and Norvell, a couple weeks ago, we should have actually just told the committee, you put in 12 this.
00:06:38.000 They could have, by the way, they absolutely could have.
00:06:40.000 There's no logistical reason why it couldn't have been 12 this year because all the games are played as road games at you trying to tell me that Florida State wouldn't host a game right now?
00:06:50.000 No, no, it's just simple.
00:06:51.000 It's just silly.
00:06:52.000 Okay, so Kane, tons of news going on here.
00:06:54.000 I'm watching CFP Nation.
00:06:56.000 It's amazing.
00:06:57.000 Everyone go to citizenfreepress.com, citizenfreepress.com.
00:07:02.000 Really amazing.
00:07:03.000 What are the big stories you're seeing chatter about?
00:07:06.000 DeSantos being expelled is really big.
00:07:09.000 Also, some looming stuff.
00:07:11.000 It doesn't look like the Democrats are going to be able to get rid of Biden as logistically easy as some would think.
00:07:17.000 Your thoughts, Kane?
00:07:18.000 Yeah, there's a lot there.
00:07:20.000 I want to say really quickly, because I never do a good job of explaining it.
00:07:23.000 For people who've never read Citizen Free Press, go ahead and go there now.
00:07:27.000 It loads in less than a second.
00:07:29.000 There's no advertisements, never have been.
00:07:32.000 And we post headlines from about nine in the morning until 2 a.m. every morning.
00:07:36.000 So it's all in a stack format, your format.
00:07:39.000 You're going to be able to see what headlines are new right at the top.
00:07:43.000 Having said that, what is CFP Nation talking about?
00:07:46.000 Well, they're talking about immigration, right?
00:07:48.000 Texas seems to be tightening things up, and it seems as though the cartels are making a new plan for Arizona.
00:07:55.000 And they've been exploiting Arizona aggressively the last couple of weeks.
00:08:00.000 You mentioned George Santos.
00:08:01.000 You know, I've kept my opinion off the site.
00:08:05.000 I try to present headlines without letting people know how I feel, but this one really pisses me off.
00:08:11.000 You know, the Senate, we've got a once indicted and excuse me, a twice indicted bribery crook, Senator Bob Menendez.
00:08:20.000 And there's no call from the media.
00:08:21.000 There's no call from Democrats for Senate outside of Fetterman.
00:08:25.000 Hilarious.
00:08:25.000 Surprisingly, there's no call.
00:08:27.000 Yeah, there's no call for Menendez to step down, right?
00:08:32.000 So why do the Republicans have to handicap themselves in the House?
00:08:35.000 This seemed like a vendetta.
00:08:37.000 It seemed like this was pushed by three or four New York Republicans who had a personal slide against Santos, who made it a vendetta, and they were able to convince whatever, 100 or so Republicans to go along and obviously the Democrats.
00:08:50.000 But it really makes no sense for them to do this.
00:08:53.000 You know, I'm not a big fan of George Santos, but that doesn't matter.
00:08:56.000 You know, that is really, that really has nothing to do with the issue.
00:09:00.000 So I'm pissed off that, to be honest, that he was, that he's been expelled.
00:09:05.000 And I'm looking for retribution.
00:09:08.000 I want, you know, I want Menendez gone from the Senate.
00:09:12.000 500,000 in cash and gold coins.
00:09:15.000 Everyone knows the story, but it's bothersome.
00:09:18.000 One of the things that I just keep on hitting is when I travel the country, I talk to grassroots people.
00:09:23.000 I look at the CFP Nation.
00:09:24.000 The base, the everyday man, is more fired up than ever.
00:09:27.000 And yet the leaders are so disconnected.
00:09:29.000 They're using their time and their energy to neuter their own majority for a guy who said he's not even running for reelection.
00:09:36.000 Kane, this is the biggest problem happening in the country, the lack of an opposition party.
00:09:40.000 Yeah, that's a good point.
00:09:42.000 And there's a lack of an opposition party within our own party.
00:09:45.000 I think, you know, you talked about that, the leaders running away from the base.
00:09:49.000 And Trump is the perfect example of that, right?
00:09:53.000 Almost all of the Republican leaders in the Senate want nothing to do with Trump.
00:09:57.000 And they're all going to be proven wrong.
00:09:59.000 And we're going to see if they rally around Trump next year because Trump is going to win the nomination and he's going to need the support of Republicans in the Senate.
00:10:07.000 That's right.
00:10:11.000 Chances are you've been here before.
00:10:12.000 The chaos in the markets, oil and stocks, just when you thought it was safe and interest rates were rising, new threats come out of nowhere.
00:10:18.000 Tensions are boiling from Asia to Europe.
00:10:20.000 Adaption is the key here to safeguarding your wealth.
00:10:23.000 You may not have considered gold before.
00:10:25.000 It's not speculation.
00:10:26.000 Historically, it's meant insurance.
00:10:28.000 Noble Gold Investments has been protecting investors from disaster for years with precious metals.
00:10:32.000 I buy all of my gold from Noble Gold Investments.
00:10:34.000 By the way, new CNBC article, gold hit a new high.
00:10:37.000 Boom.
00:10:38.000 For those of you that bought gold from Noble Gold Investments, you are smiling right now.

00:11:07.000 Go to noblegoldinvestments.com right now.
00:11:10.000 That is noblegoldinvestments.com.
00:11:11.000 Gold is proven in most eras to be a safe haven for investor portfolios and a volatility balance against uncertainty.
00:11:18.000 Go to noblegoldinvestments.com.
00:11:20.000 That is noblegoldinvestments.com.
00:11:25.000 I want to play a piece of tape here.
00:11:26.000 It goes to show groups of military-aged Chinese males.
00:11:30.000 This video is unbelievable.
00:11:32.000 What cut is that?
00:11:33.000 Whatever the cut is, let's play it.
00:11:35.000 Kane, you've seen this footage before.
00:11:36.000 It's incredible your response.
00:11:38.000 Yeah, I've been posting these videos for three or four months now.
00:11:42.000 There have been, we don't know the numbers right now, but I would say probably close to 100,000 Chinese males have crossed, let's say in the last six to nine months.
00:11:51.000 They've been one of the biggest groups or the fastest growing foreign groups showing up at our border.
00:11:56.000 They're coming through the Darien Gap.
00:11:59.000 Ben Berquam and others have done really good, a really good reporting job talking to these people.
00:12:05.000 They are military age.
00:12:09.000 There's different theories out there whether this is a CP thing, whether they want to get them in this country.
00:12:16.000 So for when they can do the dirty work of the CCP, when China decides to invade Taiwan and they want to throw a crimp into communications, let's say.
00:12:25.000 And on the other spectrum, I saw a really good video about two weeks ago that I posted on CFP that it was just a freedom-loving guy from China.
00:12:33.000 And he said that what's happening is brokers are advertising all over China in every source possible, trying essentially to let people know that they can get amnesty in the United States.
00:12:47.000 And so I think it's probably a combination of both.
00:12:50.000 I mean, I imagine the CCP is sending in thousands and thousands of agents.
00:12:54.000 And I imagine there are some freedom-loving Chinese that are trying to get here.
00:12:58.000 But I'll say this, even if they're freedom-loving Chinese and they're going to do some great things here, I want them to come legally.
00:13:04.000 There's a process.
00:13:06.000 There are people waiting in line.
00:13:07.000 There are people spending thousands and thousands of dollars and waiting years to get legal green cards.
00:13:13.000 And I would, you know, I would rather these freedom-loving Chinese and from everywhere else, I would rather they get in line and follow the system.
00:13:20.000 So those are my thoughts.
00:13:22.000 Yeah, it's just, it's incredible that, I mean, you see this video here.
00:13:27.000 This is not just Nicaraguans and El Salvadorians.
00:13:30.000 And they know Biden has opened up the border big time.
00:13:34.000 And there's almost no accountability whatsoever from House Republicans.
00:13:38.000 Kane, kind of riff on that as we close here.
00:13:41.000 CFP nations vibe on the leadership of the Republican Party and the Republican Party in general.
00:13:48.000 Oh, well, they've given up completely.
00:13:51.000 In fact, I get 10 posts a day for people proposing the Patriot Party, the MAGA party, without completely understanding that that would handicap Republicans in the short term until we built that party.
00:14:02.000 But yeah, it's look, the people who read CFP and who comment are the hardcore MAGA base.
00:14:09.000 And they are long since done with Ronald Romney.
00:14:13.000 They're done with all the establishment Republicans, all globalists.
00:14:16.000 They view the Republican Party as the uniparty.
00:14:19.000 And so that's why, you know, that's why Trump has been such a breath of fresh air, because they feel that he speaks, you know, that, well, we know why Trump is a breath of fresh air.
00:14:31.000 But so the base, you know, the bases, they're anxious, right?
00:14:35.000 I'm posting polls every day.
00:14:37.000 So they, and they're, you know, these are some very advanced poll watchers.
00:14:41.000 So they're, we're watching everything.
00:14:43.000 We're watching how Cornell West affects the race, how a possible Manchin candidacy affects the race, how Bobby Kennedy affects the race.
00:14:51.000 We're keeping an eye on all these polls.
00:14:53.000 And I want people to understand, here's a short little tangent.
00:14:56.000 When you see Trump leading plus two in the real clear politics polling average, don't suddenly think that's, you know, horrible.
00:15:03.000 Oh, Trump should be leading by six, by 10.
00:15:06.000 You have to remember in that same RCP average in 2020, Trump was losing by six to eight points.
00:15:13.000 And we know that he ended up doing better, slightly better than that.
00:15:16.000 So the fact that he's polling at plus two, plus three is a strong positive.
00:15:20.000 And that's in a one-on-one race with Biden.
00:15:23.000 We're seeing now with all of these other candidates.
00:15:25.000 I forgot to mention Jill Stein, as well as Marianne Williamson, I guess.
00:15:30.000 So all of these tend to, except for Kennedy, who may sort of hurt Trump and Biden equally.
00:15:34.000 We're not sure of that.
00:15:36.000 But regarding the others, they take votes from Biden.
00:15:40.000 And so the Democrats are doing everything to keep those, you know, those candidates off the ballot.
00:15:45.000 We're seeing in Florida that there's nothing.
00:15:47.000 I put a story up this week and there won't be a primary in Florida.
00:15:50.000 They decided not to put any other Democratic candidate on the ballot.
00:15:54.000 And when there's only one candidate, they don't even list him and they give the win automatically to Biden.
00:16:00.000 So it's going to be this tussle, this battle between the Democrat establishment that will attempt to protect Biden versus these other candidates.
00:16:10.000 And then I'll say the last thing.
00:16:11.000 Well, there's an alternative, there's a way for the DNC.
00:16:14.000 If Biden resigns after the DNC convention next July or August, the DNC has the full right to appoint whoever they want to replace him with no voting.
00:16:23.000 So that's the way that Gavin Newsom took it in.
00:16:26.000 Yeah, the ball game is right there.
00:16:27.000 It's that window right after the convention.
00:16:30.000 Kane, great job.
00:16:31.000 We'll have you back on soon.
00:16:35.000 Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk.
00:16:36.000 You're exciting news to share about saving babies by providing ultrasounds.
00:16:39.000 Right now, there is a dollar-for-dollar match, doubling the number of babies you'll save with pre-born.
00:16:44.000 There are babies alive today about to celebrate their first Christmas because of what we did together a year ago at this time providing ultrasounds.
00:16:50.000 And right now, you can save twice as many babies.
00:16:53.000 Maybe you're already wondering about end of the year giving and want to give every dollar, get the most results.
00:16:58.000 Or maybe you just want to know that a girl making this decision deserves the truth.
00:17:01.000 So that next year at this time, she's picking out a Christmas stocking for her baby's first Christmas.
00:17:05.000 It's beautiful to think about.
00:17:06.000 Your gift of $15,000, somebody out there can do it.
00:17:09.000 I'm sure will provide not one, but two ultrasound machines.
00:17:12.000 $280 saves 10 babies.
00:17:14.000 $28 a month saves a baby a month for less than a dollar a day.
00:17:17.000 And right now, any gift saves twice as many babies with pre-born.
00:17:21.000 I'm a donor to this organization.
00:17:22.000 We love this organization with the Kirk family.
00:17:24.000 Call 833-850-2229.
00:17:27.000 Full endorsement.

00:17:37.000 Super honored to be joined right now by somebody who is a superstar in the National Basketball Association.
00:17:45.000 And we're really honored to have him coming to AmericaFest as well.
00:17:49.000 He's in the middle of a season, and he also has just released a new basketball shoe.
00:17:54.000 I'm going to be buying some.
00:17:56.000 Unitas, and it is Jonathan Isaac, who just got back from practice.
00:18:00.000 Jonathan, thank you so much for taking time to join us and also to come to AmericaFest.
00:18:04.000 I'm a big fan of yours.
00:18:05.000 Welcome to the show.
00:18:06.000 What's up, man?
00:18:07.000 I appreciate you.
00:18:08.000 And likewise, I am just rushing home from practice.
00:18:10.000 I'm still sweaty a little bit, but I appreciate you having me on and get to talk about what we're going to talk about.
00:18:14.000 Awesome.
00:18:15.000 So tell us about your new shoe line.
00:18:17.000 It's really exciting.
00:18:17.000 And I want our audience to know you are outspoken about your faith and your values while being a superstar National Basketball Association player.
00:18:25.000 Tell us all about it.
00:18:27.000 I appreciate you.
00:18:28.000 And for me, Unitas is more than just the sneaker line.
00:18:32.000 The big, broad vision of it is an alternative sports and apparel place for people who stand for the same values that I hold to, faith, family, freedom, who understand the necessity of faith in God and faith and trust in our founding principles.
00:18:46.000 And I wanted to make that cool in a sense.
00:18:50.000 And so I think for so long, people who hold to these types of values have been maligned as not cool or on the fringe, but being able to give people a high quality alternative to some of the sports and apparel companies that you see out there, I think was worthwhile.
00:19:04.000 And it's been amazing so far.
00:19:06.000 The sneaker is just one aspect of it right now, and I'm excited about it.
00:19:10.000 It's called the Judah One.
00:19:12.000 It is the first NBA specific player edition sneaker that has a visible Bible verse on the outside.
00:19:18.000 And I just couldn't be happier about the way that it's going out.
00:19:21.000 We have five colorways.
00:19:23.000 Four have dropped already.
00:19:24.000 You can head to weareunitis.com to check them out.
00:19:27.000 They each have a different Bible verse on them.
00:19:29.000 The one you're showing there is called Triumph, and it has 2 Corinthians 4, 9 on it that says persecuted, not abandoned, struck down, but not destroyed.
00:19:38.000 You know, Jonathan, I want everyone.
00:19:39.000 So what's the website for people to check it out?
00:19:41.000 Is it unitis.something?
00:19:44.000 Tell us about the call to action.
00:19:45.000 I want everyone to go check it out.
00:19:46.000 Jonathan, how do people find it?
00:19:48.000 I appreciate you.
00:19:49.000 It is We Are Unitas.
00:19:51.000 We are UNITUS.com.
00:19:54.000 Love it.
00:19:55.000 And, you know, by the way, a lot of people that are here, you know, buying basketball shoes for Christmas gifts for your kids or your grandkids, check it out.
00:20:03.000 It's incredible.
00:20:03.000 So, Jonathan, I first was made aware of you during the Black Lives Matter stuff that swept the National Basketball Association.
00:20:11.000 If I remember correctly, it was the bubble.
00:20:14.000 And many of your teammates were wearing the Black Lives Matter shirts and taking a knee during the national anthem.
00:20:21.000 And you stood and you stood for the national anthem and refused to go along with that.
00:20:27.000 Walk us through that story.
00:20:28.000 It's very powerful.
00:20:29.000 And quite honestly, you were one of the few courageous voices in the National Basketball Association at that time.
00:20:36.000 Tell us about it.
00:20:37.000 Yeah, it was a crazy time.
00:20:39.000 And it was just, it was amazing how fast everything just swept the country.
00:20:45.000 You know, obviously you have this tragic moment with George Floyd in that situation.
00:20:49.000 And, you know, everybody's trying to figure out how to feel about it, what to do about it.
00:20:52.000 And you have this ascension of the Black Lives Matter organization and movement kind of sweep the country.
00:20:59.000 You have corporations, everybody's making commercials.
00:21:02.000 Everybody's doing the Instagram and the Twitter, the Black Squares, everything is going on.
00:21:06.000 And I'm sitting there trying to rationalize how do I feel about the situation and what best way to garner my voice, even if I have to say anything at all.
00:21:15.000 And so I had my own perspective.
00:21:17.000 And my perspective came from, I was in church one day and my pastor was preaching on Jesus being captured by the Roman Guard.
00:21:24.000 And this was at the height of all the riots and everything.
00:21:26.000 And Jesus, you know, Peter lunges forward and cuts off the guy's ear.
00:21:31.000 And Jesus says, if you live by the sword, you'll die by the sword.
00:21:33.000 And one of the things that my pastor was saying was, if we treat this moment like we've always treated this moment with anger and hatred back, if you believe that that was the situation, then we'll always get the same result that we've always gotten.
00:21:49.000 It'll always be division.
00:21:50.000 But if we can step into this moment with love and with leading with Jesus Christ being the ultimate answer for the problems that we see and understanding that we all fall short of God's glory, then we could have true change between the white and the black community.
00:22:02.000 And so I had that as my own personal framework in my mind.
00:22:07.000 I wasn't necessarily upset at an entire race of people.
00:22:11.000 I understood that there was one answer and that was going to be Christ.
00:22:14.000 And then we get into the bubble.
00:22:16.000 And now it's like everybody's at the forefront.
00:22:18.000 What you believe is at the forefront.
00:22:20.000 And so, you know, our team is getting ready to play the next day.
00:22:23.000 And we have this whole team meeting.
00:22:24.000 And my teammates are saying, yo, we don't have a choice.
00:22:27.000 We have to kneel for the national anthem because the team had already did it before us.
00:22:30.000 So if we don't do it, we're going to look like we're not a part of the movement.
00:22:33.000 And one of my teammates turned towards me and says, you know, Jonathan, what are you going to do?
00:22:38.000 And I said, fellas, I'm not kneeling and I'm not going to wear the t-shirt.
00:22:41.000 And it was like chaos.
00:22:42.000 Everybody, oh my gosh, here we go.
00:22:45.000 And they were asking me why.
00:22:46.000 And I just said, I don't see wearing a t-shirt and kneeling for the national anthem as a real solution.
00:22:52.000 I think it's just going to create more division.
00:22:54.000 And it's not an answer.
00:22:55.000 The Black Lives Matter Organization is not an answer to the problems that we see, not just with racism, but everything that plagues our country.
00:23:01.000 And so, yep, we were going to do it the next day.
00:23:05.000 And I remember being on the phone with my pastor the night before.
00:23:08.000 And I told him, like, I don't think you understand how big this is going to be.
00:23:11.000 Like, I'm going to be a coon.
00:23:12.000 I'm going to be an Uncle Tom.
00:23:13.000 They're going to, you know, this is going to go crazy.
00:23:16.000 And he said to me, Jonathan, you cannot stand for God and God not stand for you.
00:23:20.000 And that was like kind of the mic drop moment.
00:23:22.000 I said, you know what?
00:23:22.000 I'm going to go through with it.
00:23:24.000 And the next day, I decided to stand.
00:23:26.000 And Jonathan, what I want to just isolate is that typically when people take a stand, then they have, they get attacked.
00:23:34.000 And then there's kind of this half apology.
00:23:37.000 And I didn't mean it.
00:23:38.000 But you held the line.
00:23:39.000 And now you have, and I want to just repeat this for a whole audience.
00:23:43.000 Let's get the URL on the bottom for everybody.
00:23:45.000 Weareunitis.com.
00:23:47.000 You now have a clothing line with a shoe that is around your value system.
00:23:54.000 Talk about how the Lord blessed you as you stood with courage.
00:23:58.000 And just so, you know, we talk about standing against popular opinion.
00:24:04.000 You're literally in a bubble, right?
00:24:05.000 There's nowhere to go, right?
00:24:08.000 This was not easy, but talk about how the Lord blessed your.
00:24:12.000 life, your career, your faith walk after you decided not to go along with the crowd.
00:24:18.000 Yeah, absolutely.
00:24:19.000 It really was not easy.
00:24:21.000 And it's easy to say that now that it wasn't easy, but being in the moment, you know, everybody is staring at me.
00:24:27.000 Like, you know, the referees, the other team is like, what is going on?
00:24:31.000 And then the next day in the bubble, I'm walking through, you know, people are looking at me.
00:24:34.000 Oh, he's the guy that did so and so.
00:24:36.000 And my phone is blowing up with, you know, everything that was going on.
00:24:40.000 But God is faithful.
00:24:42.000 And one of the things that came out of it was my book.
00:24:45.000 I wrote a book called Why I Stand.
00:24:47.000 And it was my, it was like my life story of how I got to this moment of finding faith in the first place, how I came to stand and the backstory and behind the scenes of everything.
00:24:56.000 It became a national bestseller.
00:24:58.000 And out of that as well, out of standing in the bubble, I actually injured myself the next game.
00:25:03.000 And so after I stood in the bubble, I got injured and had to leave the bubble.
00:25:07.000 And because of that, I had the downtime to be able to write the book.
00:25:11.000 And so it was just little small ways that God was still standing with me.
00:25:15.000 And one of the other ones was that one of the things that I told my pastor was that night was that I hadn't signed my contract yet.
00:25:21.000 So my contract extension was still going to be up for negotiation that upcoming summer.
00:25:25.000 And so there was a part of that was like, if I, if I don't kneel, there's a, there's a possibility that, you know, I'm out of the league next year.
00:25:32.000 It is what it is.
00:25:33.000 I would have understood if it had gone that way, you know, at the end of the day, but it didn't.
00:25:38.000 And, you know, I was able to re-sign a great contract with the Magic.
00:25:41.000 And I just give God all the glory for that.
00:25:44.000 I got married that summer.
00:25:46.000 Now I got a baby girl, seven months old.
00:25:49.000 And then Unitas came out of, Unitas came out of being signed to Nike while I was in the bubble.
00:25:55.000 And after I got injured, I didn't re-sign with Nike.
00:25:58.000 And I went to my pastor and said to him, hey, I don't have a shoe company.
00:26:01.000 He said, make your own shoe.
00:26:03.000 I said, what?
00:26:04.000 That doesn't make any sense.
00:26:05.000 He said, make your own shoe.
00:26:06.000 And so I went down the process of making my own shoe.
00:26:09.000 And I wanted it to be authentic to me.
00:26:10.000 That's why it has Bible verses and everything on it.
00:26:12.000 And then it turned into, why not, why create this just for myself?
00:26:16.000 Why not create an entire sports and apparel company that can give lovers of God and lovers of freedom a home?
00:26:22.000 Amen.
00:26:23.000 Man, I love it.
00:26:24.000 Your book is also, I want people to check out Why I Stand.
00:26:27.000 We're honored you're going to be joining us at America Fest, which is just awesome, Jonathan, in the midst of a season and all this.
00:26:33.000 And you really are an example of courage where your contract was on the line, all this stuff.
00:26:40.000 And you stood, as it says in Joshua 1.9, be strong and courageous.
00:26:44.000 And so, Jonathan, you're a great role model to so many people.
00:26:46.000 And thank you for running back from practice to make time for us.
00:26:49.000 The website, again, is weareunitus.com.
00:26:54.000 Purchase your Christmas gifts with Jonathan Isaac.
00:26:57.000 He is one of the good ones and really honored to have him.
00:27:02.000 For years, we've been talking about how our nation's public schools have been captured by progressive ideologues.
00:27:08.000 They teach things that directly contradict the values of millions of Americans.
00:27:12.000 That's especially true if you are a Christian family.
00:27:16.000 For those of you worried about the best educational path for your kids and grandkids, I'm pleased to announce our new partnership with the folks at the Herzog Foundation.

00:28:19.000 So check it out right now, Herzogfoundation.com.
00:28:24.000 So Jonathan, the kind of prevailing narrative is that America is a racist country.
00:28:31.000 What is your response or your thought when you hear that?
00:28:35.000 My thought is that, you know, a lot of people talk about that issue and how it is the most prevalent and the biggest kind of obstacle to black Americans in our country today.
00:28:47.000 And I just disagree.
00:28:49.000 I'm not one to say that racism doesn't exist, but to act like racism is the number one obstacle to black people in America today or that America is so systemically racist that black people can't succeed, I think is false.
00:29:02.000 Yeah.
00:29:03.000 So talk more about your story and your faith and how your worldview has been, let's say, strengthened by your love of the Lord and your testimony in Jesus Christ.
00:29:16.000 I think it's really important because there aren't that many people in the National Basketball Association alone or others that are willing to speak out about your faith.
00:29:23.000 Tell us about how you got to know the Lord and your walk with Jesus.
00:29:27.000 Yeah, so my story is kind of wild.
00:29:29.000 I grew up in church and I talk about it extensively throughout the book.
00:29:33.000 So I won't go through the whole story, but I grew up in church.
00:29:36.000 But for me, it was more so just a tradition.
00:29:38.000 It wasn't something that I actually believed or really held as a tangible relationship with Jesus Christ myself.
00:29:44.000 It wasn't until I actually got to the NBA and was during my rookie season and I'm playing and I'm having the time of my life.
00:29:50.000 I'm like, I want to experience everything that the NBA has to offer.
00:29:54.000 And then I got injured.
00:29:55.000 So I was out for a little bit.
00:29:55.000 I hurt my ankle.
00:29:57.000 And I definitely, I could feel that everything that I thought that I wanted and I thought that I needed to be complete, that it wasn't all that it was chucked up to be.
00:30:05.000 The money, the fame, the fun, the girls, all that type of stuff.
00:30:09.000 It wasn't actually, it wasn't satisfying.
00:30:12.000 And one day I'm on an elevator and I meet this man and he's coming off the elevator.
00:30:16.000 I'm going on and he says to me, I can tell you how to be great.
00:30:20.000 And I said, tell me.
00:30:21.000 He said, you have to know Jesus.
00:30:23.000 And I said, man, I know Jesus.
00:30:25.000 I'm a Christian, all this different stuff, but I wasn't living that way.
00:30:27.000 And it wasn't like I had a real tangible relationship with Christ.
00:30:30.000 But that moment was the defining moment of my life because after that, I started to see this guy everywhere that I went.
00:30:37.000 If it was the elevator, it was the garage, it was all these different stuff.
00:30:40.000 I just kept seeing him.
00:30:41.000 And he would try to invite me to lunch.
00:30:43.000 And I'm like, I don't want to go to lunch with you in the back of my head.
00:30:46.000 But I end up going to lunch with this guy.
00:30:48.000 And I won't tell the whole thing, but yada, yada, yada, the story continues.
00:30:52.000 And that guy ends up becoming my pastor and leading me to teaching me about the love of God.
00:30:58.000 And it was something that I actually really struggled with growing up because I grew up in Bronx, New York.
00:31:02.000 I went from a black community to a white community when my parents split up.
00:31:06.000 I went from Bronx, New York to Naples, Florida.
00:31:09.000 And I really struggled with fitting in, making friends.
00:31:13.000 And I started to develop anxiety and self-insecurity, all these different things.
00:31:18.000 And I was so used to working for love through basketball to the point where I would have so much anxiety before games, after games, to the point where I'm the number one player in the state of Florida at Florida State University.
00:31:30.000 And I'm taking anxiety medication to play.
00:31:32.000 And nobody knows.
00:31:33.000 Family doesn't know.
00:31:34.000 Teachers don't know.
00:31:35.000 Students don't know.
00:31:36.000 Just one trainer and one coach know about what I was struggling with behind the scenes.
00:31:40.000 But it was coming into contact with the unconditional love of God that says I don't have to score, I don't have to do anything to be loved.
00:31:47.000 And that's what changed my life.
00:31:49.000 That's an amazing story, Jonathan.
00:31:51.000 So, Jonathan, you brought it up.
00:31:53.000 I have to ask, as a seminal, what do you think about them being snubbed from the college football playoff?
00:31:57.000 I got to ask, Jonathan.
00:31:59.000 Honestly, I wish I had more insight.
00:32:01.000 I was definitely paying attention just a little bit towards the end there because everybody was talking about how undefeated they were.
00:32:06.000 But I don't know the full story of it, but I know that I'm supposed to be upset.
00:32:10.000 So I'm going to say.
00:32:11.000 Okay, there you go.
00:32:12.000 Good answer.
00:32:12.000 No, I'm upset too.
00:32:14.000 No, Jonathan, we're so excited to have you at America Fest.
00:32:18.000 You are a great leader and a great example in a league that at times seems a little focused on the glitz and the glam and the new coolest thing.
00:32:27.000 You are going against the grain and you're standing for truth and for righteousness.
00:32:31.000 And what an amazing example, truly.
00:32:34.000 And by the way, the Magic are 14 and 6.
00:32:37.000 You guys are making a run.
00:32:39.000 I think this might be a really great year.
00:32:40.000 Closing thoughts, Jonathan.
00:32:42.000 Just that I appreciate you.
00:32:43.000 I appreciate you having me on.
00:32:44.000 I appreciate you promoting Unitas.
00:32:46.000 You don't have to.
00:32:47.000 And I'm just looking forward to it growing and becoming that beacon of light for people who stand for God and stand for our country.
00:32:54.000 And so it's not about hating anybody.
00:32:56.000 It's not about going against anybody.
00:32:57.000 It's about saying, these are my values and they deserve to be celebrated.
00:33:00.000 And if you're not going to celebrate them, then we can celebrate them ourselves.
00:33:04.000 Amen.
00:33:04.000 Jonathan, can't wait to see you at America Fest.
00:33:06.000 And you are a joyful warrior, my friend.
00:33:08.000 Great to see in an overly negative world.
00:33:11.000 God bless you, man.
