00:01:22.000 And it is what if behind what is happening, the changes, the transformation of our culture, what if it goes back to what actually the Bible says?
00:01:31.000 What if it goes back to what the Bible speaks of as gods?
00:01:34.000 And what if the gods are not just fiction, but there's something actually behind them?

00:01:41.000 What if they actually were in the world?
00:01:43.000 What if they were affecting our culture?
00:01:46.000 What would happen to it?
00:01:47.000 And what happens when you turn away from God?
00:01:49.000 Well, what the return of the gods is, is really showing that it's happening.

00:01:59.000 We're all dealing with it.
00:02:00.000 And the thing is that I wrote The Return of the Gods not only to reveal this, but also to arm God's people, because if you're in a fight and you don't know what you're fighting, chances are you're not going to win.

00:02:14.000 And I knew that this is the hour that this had to come out.

00:02:17.000 So, Jonathan, I want to make sure I get our terms right.
00:02:20.000 I believe when you're saying the return of the gods, you mean the idea of fake gods.
00:02:25.000 You are a monotheist, correct?
00:02:27.000 You believe in.
00:02:28.000 No, I know that's a silly question, but you're not suggesting that we live in a polytheistic reality.
00:02:36.000 No, no, yeah, of course.
00:02:38.000 Yeah, I'm a believer in Jesus.
00:02:39.000 I'm a Jewish believer and a pastor and a rabbi.
00:02:42.000 Of course.
00:02:43.000 But yeah, so no, I don't.
00:02:45.000 But yeah, let me, that's good that you asked because let me go right into it.
00:02:45.000 Yeah.
00:02:49.000 Yeah, the Bible says that when it speaks about the false gods, and that's exactly what we're speaking about, it says that behind them were, it uses a Hebrew word.
00:02:57.000 The Hebrew word is shadim.
00:02:59.000 Shadim, it's in Deuteronomy, it's in the Psalms.
00:03:02.000 It means literally not, you know, fables, it means spirits, entities, beings.
00:03:08.000 And when it gets translated into the New Testament, it becomes the Greek word daimonia, where you get the word demon from it.
00:03:15.000 So what it's saying is that behind the gods are actually spirits.
00:03:20.000 When the pagan world was worshiping gods, they're actually under a possession. 0.92
00:03:24.000 You know, when you turn away from God, this is what happens.
00:03:27.000 So this was, and this is pretty universal.
00:03:30.000 Everyone worshiped gods except Israel that worshiped God until they turned away from God. 0.87
00:03:35.000 So the first question is, what happened to all this?
00:03:38.000 Well, what happened was the gospel.
00:03:40.000 What happened was Jesus.
00:03:41.000 And when the power of God came into the ancient world, literally it drove out the gods.
00:03:45.000 That's why you don't see many people worshiping Zeus outright and all these things.
00:03:49.000 It was gone.
00:03:50.000 But if behind the gods are spirits, that means it wasn't just turning away from gods.
00:03:55.000 It means it was a casting out.
00:03:58.000 It was an exorcism of Western civilization.
00:04:00.000 That's what's made the West so unique.
00:04:02.000 And so the thing is, the thing is that then, then the next question is that, okay, where'd they go?
00:04:07.000 And then, and the next kind of clue to set up what I'm sharing is that Jesus gave a parable.
00:04:13.000 And he said, when a spirit goes out of a man, it goes looking for a place, doesn't find it, says, I'm going to go back to my house, the guy.
00:04:20.000 And he goes back and finds the house, the guy, empty, in order, cleaned, brings seven other spirits.
00:04:28.000 The Bible says more evil than itself.
00:04:30.000 And the latter state of the man is worse than the first state.
00:04:32.000 But now people think it's just talking about a guy.
00:04:34.000 But when you read the end of it, in Matthew, it says, so it shall be with this generation. 0.99
00:04:38.000 And so the premise is this: the warning is this: that, first of all, cultures, not just people, can be oppressed and possessed.
00:04:46.000 They can be delivered and they can be repossessed.
00:04:48.000 So the warning is for America and for the West and for much of the world, modern world, any culture, any civilization that has been delivered of these spirits by God, of paganism, by God, if it should ever turn away from God, then the spirits that were cast out of it will come back into it to repossess it.
00:05:07.000 If you want to understand what's been happening to America for the last half century, we're witnessing a repossession.
00:05:13.000 We're witnessing a turn from a Christian civilization into a pagan one. 0.98
00:05:17.000 And this is the beginning of the mystery.
00:05:19.000 This is key.
00:05:20.000 So if you read the Torah, which means teacher, through the lens that there was an obsession from the writing of it to really wage war on river civilization pagan polytheism, right?
00:05:34.000 This idea of one God that is not in nature, but created nature, this idea of one morality, this idea of Hashem or Adonai or Jehovah, whatever term you want to use, it was not just foreign, it was a mystery and a threat to the predominant views.
00:05:54.000 And if you look at some of the themes that especially the first 11 books of Genesis lay out, we're seeing almost a resurgence of that, whether it be earth worship, whether it be doing what is right in your own eyes.
00:06:07.000 So when you say a return of the gods, we're almost just seeing a replaying of the same temptations and vices that the first couple books of the scriptures go out of their way to wage war on.
00:06:20.000 Yeah, absolutely.
00:06:22.000 What we are witnessing is, I mean, it's kind of the reverse.
00:06:25.000 It's the reverse of what happened when the gospel came in.
00:06:28.000 It's a de-Christianization, which means also it is a turning away from monotheism.
00:06:33.000 And when you turn away from God, the warning is, I mean, look, look at the case examples we have.
00:06:40.000 Look at Russia. 0.82
00:06:41.000 Look what happened when Russia turned away from its Christian foundations.
00:06:44.000 It wasn't secular.
00:06:46.000 It was demonic.
00:06:47.000 Look what happened to Germany when they turned away from God. 0.91
00:06:50.000 It was not secular.
00:06:51.000 It was demonic.
00:06:52.000 We are now witnessing that in America.
00:06:54.000 And the warning that Jesus gives is the house will not stay empty.
00:06:58.000 Something else will you take God out of the schools?
00:07:00.000 Something else will come into the schools.
00:07:02.000 You take God from the children.
00:07:04.000 Something else will come into the children.
00:07:06.000 And that's what we are witnessing.
00:07:07.000 Everything you just said, it's not an accident.
00:07:10.000 In fact, why things are so irrational?
00:07:11.000 We say, how could they believe this?
00:07:13.000 How could they do this to children?
00:07:14.000 Well, this is all part of it.
00:07:16.000 And the thing is, Charlie, it's not just a general thing.
00:07:19.000 There are specific entities or gods or spirits that the Bible speaks about that are literally, that are literally at work right in our culture.
00:07:28.000 So that's a really deep and important point that honestly, I don't even have theological clarity on.
00:07:34.000 And I want your take.
00:07:35.000 I want to spend some of our hour on this because I ask pastors and I get different answers understandably.
00:07:40.000 And you've obviously done some deep thinking on this, which is what does the Bible say?
00:07:45.000 Who is Satan?
00:07:47.000 Does he have lieutenants that we would call demons?
00:07:52.000 And so walk us through what the Bible says outside of folklore or tradition.
00:07:56.000 What specifically does the Bible say who Satan is?
00:08:00.000 What is his jurisdiction?
00:08:02.000 And does he have, you know, lieutenants or demons or helpers?
00:08:06.000 Yeah, well, number one, you know, Satan in Hebrew, really, it's a Hebrew word that means satan, means the one who opposes you.
00:08:13.000 It becomes in Greek, diabolos, we get devil, you know, from that means the opposer.
00:08:17.000 Well, it says the Bible clearly says that Satan was also a spirit, an angelic being that fell.
00:08:25.000 So therefore, you have, you have starting with that, but interesting too, because Charlie, you know that, you know, one of the words for Satan is Bealzebub, you know, or Bealzebah.
00:08:34.000 Well, that actually comes from a Hebrew word that is Baal Zavuv, which means Baal, which is a one, which is one of the spirits or one of the gods that Israel worships.
00:08:44.000 So yes, he has there, the Bible says very clearly, there is one, I mean, there is Satan, and then there are spirits that are, that are part of this realm, just like God has angels, there are spirits.
00:08:54.000 Well, what, you know, what would a spirit do more than draw attention, you know, draw the worship of God away from God to itself?
00:09:01.000 So when you look at the pagan world, you know, this is this, if there's a reason why it's demonic.
00:09:07.000 You know, when you look at pagan worship, it's demonic. 1.00
00:09:10.000 It's not just, you know, they have all the signs of possession shaking and foaming at the mouth.
00:09:15.000 And actually, and a possessed culture is a, is literally, I mean, a pagan culture is literally demonic. 0.91

00:09:21.000 And the thing is that we've kind of forgotten that at our peril, to our peril.
00:09:25.000 Because when you take out God, it all comes back.

00:10:38.000 Is it true that he rebelled against God and took one-third of the angels with him?
00:10:42.000 Or is that inferred theological folklore?
00:10:46.000 It is.
00:10:48.000 He clearly rebelled.
00:10:50.000 The Lord said, I saw him fall like lightning.
00:10:53.000 In Isaiah and Ezekiel, it also speaks about that too.
00:10:57.000 The angel who said, I will ascend.
00:11:00.000 I will ascend and then is fallen.
00:11:03.000 The word, you know, actually Lucifer comes from something from Isaiah.
00:11:08.000 Then in Revelation, we see this war.
00:11:10.000 Some people put it in the past.
00:11:11.000 Some people say there's going to be another kind of war with this.
00:11:15.000 But there's clearly, listen, you know, C.S. Lewis talked about evil and how do you have evil?
00:11:20.000 Evil is basically taking something that's good and twisting it.
00:11:24.000 You know, God didn't create evil, so evil must be something that's been twisted.
00:11:28.000 And the fall of Satan is exactly that.
00:11:30.000 So yes, Satan is very real.
00:11:32.000 You can't understand.
00:11:33.000 How can you understand like Hitler and the Third Reich without understanding that there is a Satan, there's a demonic realm? 0.82
00:11:40.000 So Jonathan, just help me understand, because I had a discussion recently with an Orthodox rabbi.
00:11:45.000 He said that there is no evidence in the Torah or the Tanakh of a devil or a Satan or of there's only Hashem. 0.88
00:11:56.000 There is only God.
00:11:57.000 Can you just help me understand theologically how that view came to be?
00:12:02.000 Yeah, well, apparently he's not reading the Tanakh because it's there.
00:12:06.000 Job is considered one of, if not the oldest book.
00:12:09.000 And it clearly, there is Satan right in there.
00:12:13.000 In Zechariah, it talks about Satan accusing Israel, accusing the high priest there.
00:12:17.000 So, and then again, Isaiah and Ezekiel also speak about that.
00:12:22.000 So it's clearly that there is.
00:12:24.000 So I don't know where he gets that, but it's clearly there.
00:12:27.000 You know, just like many things, it gets clearer in the New Testament or it gets more exposed, you know, just like the Holy Spirit's in the Hebrew scriptures, but it's more exposed.
00:12:35.000 Just like the Trinity or the triune nature of God is in the Hebrew scriptures too.
00:12:39.000 But it's all there.
00:12:40.000 So I don't know.
00:12:41.000 He's got to read up a little bit more.
00:12:43.000 Yeah, Elohim in Genesis 126 and 127 is an early hat tip to the Trinity. 0.91

00:12:50.000 What is the mystery of the spirits?
00:12:53.000 Well, it is that behind these things that we kind of think of as fiction are actually real.
00:13:00.000 These are entities.
00:13:02.000 And actually, when I spoke about, we can actually identify some of them that actually have returned.
00:13:07.000 You know, when Israel turned away from God, there were three particular principalities that really, really kind of possessed the nation and led to the destruction.
00:13:17.000 In the return of the gods, I call it the dark trinity. 0.88
00:13:20.000 And the first one in Hebrew, these are all in the Bible.
00:13:23.000 The first one is called the possessor in Hebrew.
00:13:26.000 We know him as Baal or Baal. 0.91
00:13:29.000 The second one is a she, it's a goddess that's called the Enchantress.
00:13:34.000 And she's known in the Bible as Ashtorah.
00:13:37.000 But in Babylon, she's Ishtar. 0.97
00:13:39.000 In Greece, she's Aphrodite, all the same thing.
00:13:41.000 And the third one is called the Destroyer.
00:13:44.000 We know him as Mole.
00:13:45.000 Now, the first, no, in a nutshell, there's so much, and of course, we can just touch on it.
00:13:49.000 But the first one is the one, kind of like that first spirit that comes back to the house that turns, paganizes a nation, turns it away from God. 0.53
00:13:56.000 Ever since the early 60s, we've been watching this turn from America.
00:14:00.000 This spirit drives God out of the culture, paganizes it, makes it forget God, just like it did to Israel. 0.99

00:14:09.000 There's so much it's behind that we can't even begin to, yeah.
00:14:12.000 And then you have the Enchantress sexualizes a culture and takes sex out of marriage. 1.00

00:15:26.000 Why would the Mayans, who had no, literally no possible geographic communication, it's impossible, right?

00:17:13.000 Why is that?
00:17:15.000 Because the spirits are real.

00:17:19.000 There's no natural or geographic or physical connection between these civilizations all over the world, yet they do the same thing.
00:17:26.000 The fact that all these nations from Hawaii to Russia to China are worshiping gods is a strange thing.
00:17:33.000 But then that you have human sacrifice all over, you have child sacrifice all over.
00:17:38.000 And as you said, the only thing that stopped this, number one, was the word of God.
00:17:42.000 Number two, it was the gospel through Messiah, through Jesus, that actually put an end to it.
00:17:48.000 But so notice then, then when a nation like America starts putting God out, it comes back in the form of abortion.
00:17:56.000 And abortion is not, you know, is not anything else but that because it ultimately is, I mean, we're talking about millions and millions more than they did in the ancient world.
00:18:05.000 And the other thing is, and I won't go into the details, we don't, but in the book, I actually put in how when you look at the ancient rituals of child sacrifice and the elements of child sacrifice, you actually see it today replaying an abortion.
00:18:19.000 So you talk about possession over a nation or a people.
00:18:24.000 Yes.
00:18:25.000 I struggle with that concept.
00:18:26.000 Not that I don't believe it, but I struggle.
00:18:29.000 So first of all, I believe the scriptures say if you are in the kingdom of God, you cannot be possessed.
00:18:35.000 Is that a fair belief?
00:18:37.000 If you are born new, you are not able to be possessed.
00:18:41.000 So I think that should give, is that correct?
00:18:43.000 I believe there are Christians who believe otherwise, but I believe that. 0.99
00:18:47.000 I mean, you can be oppressed and you can be many things, but no, if you're possessed by the Holy Spirit, you're possessed by the Holy Spirit.

00:18:55.000 I struggle with this only because I think it creates a little bit of tension of people's then ability to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

00:19:09.000 I mean, example, Charlie.
00:19:09.000 Yeah, yeah.
00:19:11.000 If you look, look at what happened to Germany.
00:19:15.000 That wasn't natural.
00:19:17.000 It wasn't explainable.
00:19:18.000 It was irrational.
00:19:20.000 It was a people who a spirit came over, possession.
00:19:24.000 In other words, there could be a spirit that's over a culture.
00:19:26.000 Now, it doesn't mean that everybody in the culture is saying that that is, this may be the key for you.
00:19:32.000 It's not saying everybody is in a position of Individual possession, but cultures themselves, you know, the mainstream culture, spirits can drive that.
00:19:44.000 Spirits can, a culture can give itself to ownership.
00:19:47.000 And listen, if you're not giving yourself to God, who are you giving yourself to?
00:19:51.000 You know, so there is there, you know, if you're not owned by God, who are you owned by?
00:19:55.000 You know, you got to serve somebody.
00:19:57.000 So that doesn't mean individually that we can't accept the Lord.
00:20:00.000 Of course, we can't.
00:20:01.000 And that's the only answer.
00:20:02.000 The only answer is the gospel.
00:20:04.000 And so there is really, here's another question.
00:20:06.000 Do you believe there's actually ever going to be or ever has been a true secular society?
00:20:12.000 Meaning, you're either going to believe in a pagan demonic view or in an ethical monotheistic.
00:20:19.000 I think this idea of secularism is actually a false construct.
00:20:22.000 It's never going to happen.
00:20:25.000 I mean, you know, and I believe that.
00:20:25.000 I believe you're right.
00:20:27.000 You know, it's ultimately, I mean, it can look secular for a while, but the point is, man is not made to be secular.
00:20:33.000 Man is made to worship. 0.97
00:20:34.000 And so if you're not worshiping one thing, you're going to worship another.
00:20:37.000 You may not call it that.
00:20:38.000 You know, we don't, we don't call, you know, in the book, I go through all these manifestations of the ancient gods that we won't, you know, the secular world or the unsaved world, the mainstream culture will not recognize that they're doing it, but they're doing it.

00:21:44.000 He said, because there is no other explanation that I can come to to the outright intentional, widespread, repeated, transparent exploitation and suffering of millions of people.

00:22:01.000 And even quote, secular people and liberal people are actually saying something like this is demonic.

00:22:12.000 Now, again, I'm not talking about individual here, but cultural possession, possession of a culture.
00:22:17.000 One of the gods I spoke about, the Enchantress, had another side to her.
00:22:21.000 And that is that she says, and I put in the ancient, in the book, I put in the ancient Mesopotamian inscription so you can see for yourself.
00:22:28.000 It says, she says, I am a woman, I am a man.
00:22:32.000 It says she has the power to turn a man into a woman and a woman to a man. 0.88
00:22:37.000 So now, now, this is the same enchantress that begins the sexual revolution. 1.00
00:22:41.000 So this couldn't come out of the beginning, but once she starts taking possession of a culture, then it gets to her deeper work. 1.00

00:23:31.000 And so when you look at it, listen, you know, people, again, who are not even believers will look at this and say, what would possess an adult to do this to a child, a mutilated child?

00:23:42.000 And the other thing is that, you know, we're watching this.
00:23:45.000 You know, back then, remember, Jesus said they come back worse.
00:23:48.000 So back then, she possessed a priesthood.
00:23:51.000 Now she's seeking to possess an entire generation.
00:23:54.000 And not only that, Charlie, but when you, one of the things was this was a, she was in charge of parades. 0.99
00:24:00.000 Her parades were basically men parading in the city streets and women parading dressed as the other sex with color. 0.97

00:24:08.000 She had one month of the year where she particularly possessed a culture.

00:24:49.000 And again, linked to the altering of gender.
00:24:52.000 And he identifies it in Latin as Iunium.
00:24:56.000 Iunium is where we get the word June.
00:25:00.000 I mean, that's just, that's, that's.
00:25:02.000 And, and there's, and there's more, Charlie.
00:25:04.000 One, another thing about the goddess is that one of the signs she was associated with is the, is the rainbow.

00:25:15.000 That's why it's so strange is taking over culture.

00:25:20.000 Remember the day when the Supreme Court struck down marriage as we know it?

00:25:27.000 Lit up the White House in the rainbow.

00:25:30.000 That night, when he did that, that basically marriage is struck down.

00:25:37.000 The day on the Hebrew, biblical, and Babylonian calendar was the 10th of the month of Tammuz, 10th of Tammuz.

00:25:50.000 That day was appointed from ancient times to ordain to cast a spell to cause a man to love a man.
00:25:59.000 That was the day that marriage was turned over.

00:26:04.000 Obviously, just a coincidence, Jonathan, right?

00:26:08.000 So Return of the Gods is the book.
00:26:10.000 So now I want to transition to how do we individually, on a family level, and collectively, how do we excommunicate, or if your word is exorcise the unclean spirits, this kind of dark trinity of oppression?
00:26:30.000 What can we do, if anything?
00:26:33.000 Well, that's a great question.
00:26:34.000 The last part of the book is focusing specifically on that.
00:26:38.000 And it's called the other God, because the God we have is so much more powerful.
00:26:42.000 And the thing is, the one thing is to know that, number one, you're in a war.
00:26:46.000 Like I said at the beginning, we're in a war, and it's not ultimately political, but it touches politics.
00:26:51.000 It's not ultimately cultural, but it touches culture.
00:26:54.000 These spirits are literally seeking total domination.
00:26:58.000 Every knee shall bow.
00:26:59.000 That's what always happens.
00:27:00.000 First, anything goes, it's all tolerance.
00:27:03.000 And then it's every knee shall bow.
00:27:06.000 And the other thing is, Charlie, is that they've come, remember, they were cast out by Christians. 0.88
00:27:11.000 So they have a vendetta.
00:27:12.000 So that's why there's a spirit against believers in this, even in America.
00:27:17.000 But we got to remember this.
00:27:18.000 So we're at a war, but we got to remember a few things.
00:27:20.000 One is if there's anything in your life, I'm not talking to you, Charlie.
00:27:24.000 I'm talking about everybody.
00:27:25.000 Anything in your life that is like linked to any of these things, it could be pornography, could be anything that's not of God.
00:27:31.000 Yeah, these are the conduits, the super highways that allow these unclean spirits to have a hold.

00:27:36.000 Yes, because, yeah, exactly.
00:27:38.000 And so the first thing is, you know, before you can deal with it in the culture, you deal with it in your life.
00:27:43.000 You know, Gideon was called to be a great warrior of God, but before he could do anything great, he had to, he had to smash the altar in his backyard to bail.
00:27:52.000 So first thing is that anything in your life, deal with it there.
00:27:54.000 First thing, God wants you powerful.
00:27:56.000 Secondly, understand this is not an exception.
00:27:59.000 This is actually biblical.
00:28:00.000 You know, a lot of people are praying.
00:28:01.000 I wish I could live in Bible times. 1.00
00:28:03.000 Congratulations.
00:28:04.000 You're there because this is what Moses dealt with.
00:28:06.000 You know, Elijah dealt with the gods.
00:28:08.000 Paul dealt with the gods.
00:28:09.000 You know, it's because this is what happens when you take God out.
00:28:12.000 So this is the way it's been.
00:28:14.000 So the thing is that, but remember, we have something much more powerful.
00:28:17.000 We don't have a God.
00:28:19.000 We have the God.
00:28:20.000 We have the true living God.
00:28:22.000 And the power, you know, the Bible says, you know, when Moses crossed the Red Sea, he wrote a song.
00:28:27.000 He said, Who is like you, Lord, among the gods?
00:28:31.000 There's nobody.
00:28:32.000 And there's nobody like Jesus.
00:28:33.000 Yeshua, listen, I'm Jewish.
00:28:35.000 And I'm telling you, whoever's listening, there is nobody like Yeshua like Jesus. 0.97
00:28:40.000 You know, there is no name like that.
00:28:41.000 There's no number two.
00:28:43.000 There's no runner up.
00:28:44.000 And that name was enough to cast the gods out of the ancient world.
00:28:47.000 And you've got that name.
00:28:49.000 You have the power, but you cannot be silent.
00:28:51.000 You cannot be intimidated.
00:28:53.000 You have to stand strong.
00:28:54.000 Do not bow down to political correctness.
00:28:57.000 Do not bow down when they tell you to be quiet.

00:29:00.000 You know, this is a time when it's darker.
00:29:02.000 It gets darker.
00:29:04.000 It's the lights of God get brighter.
00:29:06.000 Jonathan, is there hope?
00:29:09.000 Yes.
00:29:10.000 As long as there's, you know, Charlie, every time I've written a book and I've written, you know, I deal with heavy things, always hope because as long as you have God, there's hope.
00:29:19.000 Without God, there is no hope.
00:29:20.000 And that's what a lot of people are seeing when they're looking at what's happening to their world.
00:29:25.000 But we always have hope.
00:29:26.000 As long as you have God, you have hope.
00:29:28.000 And as I said, you know, Jesus, Yeshua, I say that, that's his Hebrew name, is so much stronger and actually has the power to deal with these things, cast these things out.
00:29:39.000 But one of the things that's important is that, you know, the answer to all this that I'm talking about came from the absence of God.
00:29:47.000 So the answer, the antidote for all this is the presence of God.
00:29:50.000 And the presence of God, number one, has got to be in our lives.
00:29:53.000 The more that we are filled with him, you know, the spirit of God is much stronger than the spirits and these spirits that we're talking about.
00:30:00.000 But we have to be strong, you know, and we have to not be silent.
00:30:04.000 You know, one of the things that if you look at, when you look at what happened when Baal took over a culture, he sought every need about him and every tongue confess and everybody be silent. 0.93
00:30:15.000 And you cannot be intimidated.
00:30:16.000 You know, whether, you know, these principalities are especially are trying to totally, you know, like to stamp out the light.
00:30:24.000 And again, I use as an example, just look at what happened with the Third Reich. 0.84
00:30:28.000 We have to not be intimidated.
00:30:30.000 It doesn't matter what the odds are.
00:30:31.000 It doesn't matter if we're in the minority or majority.
00:30:33.000 It doesn't matter.
00:30:34.000 This is the time to really shine.
00:30:35.000 You know, when everybody says they're Christian, Charlie, it's all gray, you know, and we came from a time, everybody said they were Christian.
00:30:41.000 Well, that's not anymore.
00:30:42.000 Now it means everything.
00:30:44.000 Now to be a Christian and to stand up for Jesus means everything, but it's more powerful.
00:30:48.000 You know, a candle in the daytime, you know, you can barely see it.
00:30:51.000 A candle at night lights up the world.
00:30:52.000 So it might be harder, but it's more powerful.
00:30:55.000 You know, it's like, I will say this, you know, one of the mysteries of what the Bible calls the end times is that everything's returning to where it was at the beginning.
00:31:03.000 You know, there was an Israel at the beginning of the age, it's back. 1.00
00:31:06.000 There was Jerusalem, it's back. 0.99
00:31:08.000 Now the culture was pagan, it's going back.
00:31:11.000 But the church, that means we have to go back to what where we were, which is the book of Acts.
00:31:16.000 So the thing is, you know, this actually is an exciting time to be, you know, we can be powerful for God.
00:31:23.000 This is the time that produces greatness, but you got to stand, you got to rise, and God will anoint you, will empower you.
00:31:31.000 And we must keep the spiritual disciplines clear.
00:31:34.000 What do you have to say, Jonathan, for people that feel as if it's all falling apart?
00:31:39.000 So there is no reason to fight.
00:31:41.000 There is no hope.
00:31:43.000 Very a lot of emphasis on eschatological escape, that Jesus is coming next Thursday.
00:31:50.000 What is your message to those people?
00:31:52.000 Yeah, well, there's a balance.
00:31:53.000 The balance is that we are, you know, we have to be ready for his coming, but the other, the other part is occupy until he comes.
00:31:59.000 And the thing is that he never said we're not supposed to do anything.
00:32:02.000 He gave us a great commission.
00:32:03.000 And until he takes that back and until he says that's over, we got it to, we have a job to do.
00:32:08.000 You know, so the thing is that you can't the earth.
00:32:10.000 You know, we have a job to do.
00:32:12.000 In fact, you know, it's like saying, well, it's like you're a light and you're saying the darkness is so dark that we might as well give up.
00:32:18.000 No, if the dark is dark, it's saying that's my job as a light to light it up.
00:32:23.000 And that is so beautifully said.

00:32:33.000 Well, I would say just one, if you're listening right now and you don't know that you're born again, you have the Lord in you.

00:32:42.000 You don't have to fear the future if you get right with God.
00:32:45.000 But without God, you got darkness.
00:32:47.000 And if you are a believer, listen, I mean, I mean, listen, there's so much in the book we can't touch on, but I want you to know more than anything, this is your hour.

00:32:57.000 This is the hour to become the person God called you to be.
00:33:00.000 He called you for such a time as this.
00:33:02.000 If he didn't want you a year, he would have put you in the middle ages.

00:33:08.000 We are stronger than the gods.
00:33:09.000 With God in you, you are stronger.
00:33:12.000 Who can be against you?
00:33:13.000 And so God says the eyes of the Lord are searching the entire earth, looking for the one whose heart is completely his.
00:33:19.000 He'll lift him up.
00:33:20.000 He'll lift her up.
00:33:21.000 You be that one.
00:33:22.000 This is your hour.
00:33:23.000 This is our hour.
00:33:24.000 God is stronger than the gods.
