J.D. Vance: The Afghanistan withdrawal was a humiliation, and we take some of J.D.'s speech live that I think you're going to love. The war in Afghanistan and the war in Iraq were a big mistake. The very least that many of you and many of us were asking for was, can we please not be humiliated? If we do so with duty and honor, and some prestige? What occurred, of course, was Joe Biden saying, "Get out of there as quickly as possible." This was done with no intelligence, no wisdom, and no capacity to listen to critics. We handed the keys to the country back to the Taliban. It was a multi-trillion dollar mistake. And let me repeat it: Basically, there was no reason that we did the Afghan withdrawal for no reason whatsoever. We did not achieve anything whatsoever. There are not less terrorists, there are more terrorists. And we did not do any more of anything for less than $1.5 TRILLION dollars. That's a waste of money, a massive waste of time, and a massive amount of effort, and I think we can all agree that it was a mistake. Charlie and I agree that the War in Afghanistan was a huge mistake, and those of you that served in those two wars are heroes, and you should be supported as heroes. 00:01:24.000 Three years ago was the beginning of the end of the Biden presidency.
00:01:30.000 Joe Biden became president under very suspicious means, a lot of hocus pocus, a lot of nonsense, shenanigans, from the 2020 election of January 6, and all of a sudden, poof, Biden is president.
00:01:43.000 But Joe Biden's approval ratings were above 50% during February, March, April, and May of 2021.
00:01:50.000 He had an okay summer.
00:01:51.000 He was all about fighting COVID, all that nonsense, even though he repealed the Keystone XL pipeline, sent his shock troops after Douglas Mackey.
00:01:59.000 He declared war on American energy independence.
00:02:01.000 He got rid of the 1776 Commission.
00:02:04.000 Joe Biden was a radical from the first day he became president because Kamala Harris is a radical, and Kamala Harris is working in tandem with him.
00:02:10.000 But then something happened three years ago.
00:02:13.000 Joe Biden made an ideological decision in the way that he was going to withdraw from Afghanistan.
00:02:17.000 Now, to be very consistent, very clear, On this program, we make an argument that actually pulling from Afghanistan the withdrawal was a good thing. 0.87
00:02:25.000 That getting out of Afghanistan was necessary. 1.00
00:02:27.000 But the way that it was done was insulting.
00:02:30.000 It was humiliating.
00:02:31.000 It was ideological.
00:02:33.000 It was enemy-appeasing.
00:02:35.000 If I have to take out an appendix, I don't take out a pocket knife and just operate on myself.
00:02:40.000 We had trapped Americans. 1.00
00:02:42.000 We allowed equipment to be left behind.
00:02:45.000 We telegraphed our move.
00:02:47.000 He said he was going to do it on the anniversary of 9-11.
00:02:50.000 Now for many of you that remember in vivid detail the war on terror, Afghanistan, more so than even Iraq, was the big stand of the war on terror.
00:03:00.000 I think we can all agree the war in Iraq and the war in Afghanistan were largely big mistakes.
00:03:05.000 To be very clear though, those of you that served in those wars, you are heroes.
00:03:09.000 You should be supported as heroes, and we thank you for your service.
00:03:12.000 This is not about the rank and file that went to go fight for your country.
00:03:15.000 This is about the out-of-touch oligarch generals and the people that play war games in D.C.
00:03:21.000 that decided to go spend trillions of dollars, thousands of American lives, and ruin hundreds of thousands of lives in the process through PTSD and other horrible, irreversible issues.
00:03:32.000 The war in Afghanistan and the war in Iraq were a big mistake. 0.67
00:03:35.000 The very least that many of you and many of us were asking for was, can we please not be humiliated?
00:03:43.000 If we're going to end the war in Afghanistan, can we do so with duty and honor and some prestige? 0.56
00:03:50.000 What occurred, of course, was Joe Biden saying, get out of there as quickly as possible.
00:03:53.000 Get out of there.
00:03:55.000 This was done with no intelligence, no wisdom, no capacity to listen to critics.
00:04:00.000 Sacrificing and foregoing the Bagram Air Base.
00:04:03.000 We handed the keys to the country back to the Taliban. 0.99
00:04:06.000 And let me repeat it.
00:04:08.000 Basically, there was no reason that we did the Afghan war.
00:04:11.000 No reason whatsoever.
00:04:13.000 We did not achieve anything.
00:04:14.000 We do not control any more of the country.
00:04:16.000 There are not less terrorists, there are more terrorists.
00:04:18.000 It was a multi-trillion dollar mistake.
00:04:22.000 We had just had a multi-trillion dollar waste.
00:04:24.000 Thank you, George W. Bush.
00:04:25.000 Thank you, Dick Cheney.
00:04:26.000 Thank you, Barack Obama.
00:04:28.000 Thank you, Nancy Pelosi.
00:04:29.000 Thank you, Chuck Schumer.
00:04:31.000 Thank you, Denny Hassert.
00:04:32.000 Thank you to all the warmongers.
00:04:34.000 Thank you, Lindsey Graham, who's been a cheerleader for this effort for years.
00:04:39.000 The Afghan war is one of the great mistakes in American history. 1.00
00:04:42.000 It's one of the reasons why we have the posture on this program to be against adventurous foreign policy.
00:04:49.000 But the least we could have done is to make sure that we fix this neoconservative debacle and end it correctly.
00:04:56.000 That the last chapter as it is written is not done in a way that is humiliating to all of us, humiliating to the service, that puts more soldiers at risk, that potentially allows us to lose more lives on the way out.
00:05:09.000 That we do it in a way that our equipment does not end up in the hands of our adversaries.
00:05:14.000 Joe Biden's approval ratings were unmoved in March, April, May, June, July.
00:05:18.000 And then as soon as Afghanistan happened three years ago, his approval ratings went below 50% and they never recovered.
00:05:26.000 All that we wanted was to end this war with dignity, honor, and keep our servicemen and women safe, and keep the world safe.
00:05:35.000 Joe Biden decided to just pull the plug, and instead of any sort of intelligent withdrawal, we saw one of the most chaotic, just breathtaking moments in American history.
00:05:48.000 Telegraphing our move.
00:05:49.000 Let's play Cut 171.
00:05:51.000 So it begins.
00:05:53.000 CNN's Clarissa Ward reports from Kabul, covered head to toe, not one strand of hair showing.
00:05:59.000 I'm Clarissa Ward.
00:06:00.000 It's a stark contrast with how she looks in this CNN promo. 0.96
00:06:04.000 Even dressed like this, she's met with hostility.
00:06:07.000 They've just told me to stand to the side because I'm a woman.
00:06:11.000 Now, in Taliban culture, they've now completely taken over the country. 1.00
00:06:14.000 Remember that was the whole argument that the neoconservatives make, the warmongering Republicans?
00:06:18.000 Oh, yeah, spend a couple billion dollars and soon Afghanistan will be like Alabama. 0.99
00:06:23.000 It'll be a free society.
00:06:25.000 It'll be open.
00:06:26.000 It'll be terrific.
00:06:28.000 Many of you remember this shocking, awful, the desperate escape from the country that Kamala Harris and Joe Biden oversaw.
00:06:38.000 PlayCut 172.
00:06:41.000 We're also learning more about the desperate plight of Afghan civilians fleeing the Taliban.
00:06:47.000 This video was recorded by a man as he and his countrymen clung desperately to the side of the cargo plane as it was taking off.
00:06:55.000 And this is the scene inside the U.S.
00:06:57.000 cargo plane.
00:06:59.000 640 people packed on board for the three-hour flight to Qatar.
00:07:03.000 This is what the giant aircraft is designed for, carrying 150 troops.
00:07:07.000 And now, many of them are here in America. 173 how the Taliban took over almost 0.85
00:07:16.000 unopposed they took over the entire country they took over all the infrastructure that you the
00:07:22.000 taxpayers paid for. Play cut 173.
00:07:25.000 In the capital of Kabul Taliban fighters were enjoying the fruits of victory
00:07:31.000 using the machines at an abandoned gym, driving bumper cars at a fairground and enjoying a
00:07:38.000 carousel ride. And now three years later let us not forget by the way 13 Marines who lost their
00:07:45.000 lives and Kamala Harris will not even say their names.
00:07:50.000 13 Marines who were killed unnecessarily outside of the airport.
00:07:54.000 13 Marines that were killed by an incendiary explosive device.
00:07:59.000 Joe Biden never said their names, Kamala Harris not say their names.
00:08:01.000 Kamala Harris will say the names of Dylan Mulvaney and these trans zealots that visit the White House, but she will not say the names of Marines that sacrificed their life for this country.
00:08:10.000 And yesterday, in a humiliation ritual, the Taliban decided to remind you who won the war.
00:08:19.000 You know, it was famously said when I grew up, America never really lost a war.
00:08:21.000 Vietnam doesn't count.
00:08:23.000 We lost the war in Afghanistan by every objective measurement. 0.55
00:08:27.000 They have more terrorists.
00:08:28.000 They control the entire country.
00:08:30.000 We accomplished nothing.
00:08:31.000 And Joe Biden decided to give them everything on the way out.
00:08:35.000 Everything.
00:08:36.000 What we saw yesterday in the streets of Kabul was like a Roman triumph.
00:08:41.000 The ancient Romans would hold parades with captured enemy captives and standards, and they would put them on full display.
00:08:49.000 Put this up on screen.
00:08:51.000 The Taliban yesterday at the three-year anniversary of Joe Biden's reckless treasonous Humiliating withdrawal.
00:08:58.000 Might have been on Wednesday, but the days are all screwed up because they're a day ahead.
00:09:01.000 Whatever.
00:09:01.000 It was earlier this week.
00:09:03.000 Put this, put it up on screen.
00:09:04.000 The Taliban decided to march through the streets with all of the equipment, with the helicopters, with the tanks, over $100 billion.
00:09:17.000 $100 billion in American taxpayer military equipment.
00:09:22.000 This was earlier this week.
00:09:25.000 Not only will America lose, but our enemies will brag about it, rub it in your face, and troll you in real time.
00:09:34.000 Trolling your blood and sacrifice with impunity.
00:09:39.000 For any of you that have sons or daughters that serve in Afghanistan, this is them laughing at you.
00:09:44.000 And D.C.
00:09:44.000 does not care.
00:09:45.000 Kamala Harris doesn't care. 1.00
00:09:47.000 She's making videos about white guy tacos. 0.99
00:09:49.000 Not a joke.
00:09:50.000 While she's the current vice president and they are marching through the streets in complete humiliation, that is your equipment. 0.90
00:09:57.000 And the Taliban is bragging, we won the war. 0.81
00:09:59.000 America's not America. 0.63
00:10:00.000 And the mainstream media barely cares.
00:10:02.000 They're not covering this at all.
00:10:04.000 Flying the helicopters, flying the tanks, selling our very precious information to the Chinese Communist Party.
00:10:11.000 And Joe Biden and Kamala Harris made an intentional decision to give all those goods to the Taliban. 0.63
00:10:18.000 Not only will you lose the war, not only will those of you that lost loved ones in Afghanistan be trolled and insulted, but the enemies then get the weapons on the way out.
00:10:32.000 Hey everybody, Charlie Kirk here.
00:10:33.000 Did you know that 80% of adults take supplements to feel our best, right?
00:10:38.000 Well, one thing your dog can't do without you is improve their diet or health to feel their best.
00:10:44.000 That is why I believe Rough Greens could dramatically help your best friend by adding what is missing to their diet like you do.
00:10:51.000 Rough Greens is helping thousands and thousands of dogs feel better and live longer, including my dog, Mr. Briggs, who loves it.
00:11:00.000 Naturopathic Dr. Dennis Black, who created Rough Greens, is also an Airborne Ranger and Green Beret.
00:11:05.000 An amazing background, he loves dogs and is on a mission to help as many as he can.
00:11:10.000 Dog food is dead and Rough Greens supplements your dog's food with existing vitamins and minerals, omega oils, digestive enzymes, It was a humiliation ritual.
00:11:20.000 That's what it was.
00:11:21.000 By the way, Kamala Harris refuses to say these following names.
00:11:23.000 Sergeant Johnny Rosario Pichardo.
00:11:25.000 Sergeant Nicole L. Gee.
00:11:25.000 jumpstart trial bag, just cover shipping, don't change your dog's food, just go to
00:11:29.000 roughgreens.com slash Kirk, r-u-f-f greens.com slash Kirk.
00:11:32.000 It was a humiliation ritual.
00:11:37.000 That's what it was.
00:11:38.000 By the way, Kamala Harris refuses to say these following names.
00:11:41.000 Sergeant Johnny Rosario Pichardo.
00:11:44.000 Sergeant Nicole L. Gee.
00:11:46.000 Staff Sergeant Darren T. Hoover.
00:11:48.000 Corporal Hunter Lopez.
00:11:50.000 Corporal Dagan Page.
00:11:52.000 Corporal Humberto Sanchez.
00:11:54.000 Lance Corporal David Espinoza.
00:11:57.000 Lance Corporal Jared Schmitz.
00:11:58.000 You notice a lot of Hispanic patriots?
00:12:01.000 She wants the Hispanic votes, but she won't even say their names. 1.00
00:12:04.000 The disproportionately Hispanic list here of people that serve their country.
00:12:07.000 God bless them.
00:12:09.000 Lance Corporal Jared M. Schmitz.
00:12:12.000 Lance Corporal Riley J. McCullum.
00:12:14.000 Lance Corporal Dylan R. Merola.
00:12:17.000 Do you know that Kamala Harris has never said those names, nor has Joe Biden?
00:12:32.000 So they withdraw from Afghanistan and hand all the weapons over to the Taliban.
00:12:37.000 And we saw that in full display.
00:12:38.000 Make sure you play 174 here, just with a little bit of the noise in the background.
00:12:42.000 They're celebrating as if this is a major Roman triumph.
00:12:46.000 This country is in complete collapse.
00:12:47.000 We're in collapse economically, at the border, and we can't take the Taliban with this? 1.00
00:12:54.000 Do you know what should have happened here yesterday?
00:12:57.000 If we would have found that they were doing some sort of military parade, we should have just drone-striked it.
00:13:02.000 Yeah, we're just gonna, you're gonna go parade with our equipment?
00:13:05.000 We spent 20 years there.
00:13:07.000 If you guys are riding that equipment, then get the women and children out of the way. 1.00
00:13:10.000 We're gonna drone-strike it.
00:13:11.000 Why wouldn't we do that?
00:13:12.000 Oh, because we do not have a presidency that cares.
00:13:16.000 Listen to this.
00:13:18.000 They're celebrating marching this equipment, the planes, the tanks, the cars, the military vehicles, the weapons, over $100 billion.
00:13:29.000 So we are $35 trillion in debt, and then we withdraw from a country after 20 years after achieving nothing, achieving nothing, at the Bagram Air Base that we built, that we controlled, that we surrendered, that we Basically retreated from, and then we have to watch back our equipment be thrown in our face in a humiliation ritual.
00:13:54.000 This is what the Kamala Harris presidency will be for you.
00:13:59.000 We lost 2,400 men and women in Afghanistan.
00:14:04.000 The 13 that were lost unnecessarily need to be read here because they were completely ignored by Kamala Harris and Joe Biden.
00:14:12.000 And this is just basically in your face?
00:14:14.000 The Taliban is basically sending a message to all of our enemies, to the Chinese Communist Party, to North Korea, to Iran.
00:14:20.000 Look at this. 0.99
00:14:20.000 America's a bunch of weak people. 0.99
00:14:23.000 Kamala Harris doesn't know what she's doing. 1.00
00:14:25.000 She's cackling her way, trying to be president. 1.00
00:14:26.000 And we do not have a current president, obviously.
00:14:30.000 There's not a mention of this from the White House.
00:14:32.000 They've never had to explain the fact that we abandoned all this equipment.
00:14:38.000 We could have destroyed the equipment on the way out.
00:14:40.000 You know that Donald Trump had an Afghan withdrawal plan, and he said, at the very least, we're going to destroy all the equipment on the way out.
00:14:46.000 We're not going to allow them to just parade it.
00:14:48.000 Yes, you're going to waste $100 billion, but that's a rounding error, unfortunately.
00:14:53.000 But at the same time, at least it's not going to be paraded around, given to your enemies, and potentially used against you.
00:14:58.000 You know that this will now be sold to arms smugglers, arms dealers, and potentially we are now going to have to fight our own equipment in the Middle East.
00:15:07.000 At the bare minimum, heads should have rolled at the military for this.
00:15:11.000 You know how many people were fired for this?
00:15:13.000 None.
00:15:15.000 Zero.
00:15:16.000 Not a single person was fired because of the Afghanistan debacle.
00:15:20.000 So think about it.
00:15:21.000 Not a single person fired because of the Afghanistan debacle.
00:15:24.000 Not a single person fired because of COVID.
00:15:26.000 Not a single person fired after Trump got shot.
00:15:29.000 Maybe the people running our military are not the best, but they want more power.
00:15:34.000 They want the continuation of this regime.
00:15:38.000 This was Joe Biden three years ago.
00:15:40.000 Boy, he's really collapsed the last three years.
00:15:42.000 PlayCut 175.
00:15:44.000 Now granted, it took two days to take control of the airport.
00:15:47.000 We have control of the airport now.
00:15:49.000 Still a lot of pandemonium outside the airport.
00:15:51.000 Well there is, but look, but no one's being killed right now.
00:15:54.000 God forgive me if I'm wrong about that, but no one's being killed right now.
00:15:58.000 People are, we got a thousand somewhere, twelve hundred out yesterday, a couple thousand today, and it's increasing.
00:16:05.000 We're going to get those people out.
00:16:07.000 Boy, he's really collapsed the last three years.
00:16:09.000 And of course, 13 Marines died hours later.
00:16:12.000 Has anyone in the America's government been fired for incompetence in the last 20 years?
00:16:18.000 Does Kamala Harris plan to fire anybody for incompetence? 1.00
00:16:21.000 Of course not.
00:16:22.000 Has anyone at all at the State Department, the Department of Defense, the Central Intelligence Agency, the NSA, the National Security Agency, the FDA, the CDC, the Secret Service, the FBI?
00:16:36.000 No.
00:16:37.000 No, instead, they're often promoted.
00:16:40.000 You fail upwards.
00:16:43.000 That's the way it works.
00:16:43.000 You ascend through your failure.
00:16:46.000 You climb the ranks through your incompetency.
00:16:49.000 And that is the Kamala Harris view of the world.
00:16:53.000 And when you are going to make your vote and you're going this weekend to talk to swing voters and talk to Democrats, you should show them just the video I just showed here and say, watch this.
00:17:01.000 Watch all of that equipment, our stuff, our blood and sacrifice of our fellow countrymen.
00:17:07.000 And then it's just trolled and put on display in a slow motion humiliation ritual.
00:17:15.000 Are you ready to lose weight but not sure where to start?
00:17:17.000 I understand.
00:17:18.000 I was right where you are two years ago.

00:18:22.000 Dr. Asher Lucas, great American.
00:18:24.000 Check it out.
00:18:24.000 MyPhDWeightLoss.com.
00:18:29.000 I just want to close the Afghanistan thing very quickly.
00:18:31.000 The Afghanistan moment, I think that if Donald Trump focuses on this and makes them watch the footage, he should do another press conference.
00:18:39.000 He mentioned it yesterday.
00:18:40.000 Do we have the clip of him mentioning it yesterday?
00:18:42.000 I thought he did a good job.
00:18:43.000 But I think he should do an entire press conference.
00:18:45.000 We've got to think creatively.
00:18:47.000 I think President Trump should do another press conference with the families that Kamala Harris and Joe Biden still have not mentioned and just have this On a huge screen TV showing the equipment parade.
00:19:00.000 I know a lot of people, I've been getting lots of text messages and lots of phone calls of people that are saying, Charlie, this gets my pulse rate spiking.
00:19:09.000 People who are not political, people who love their country, who then see our American weaponry Have to be paraded in our face.
00:19:18.000 I think it is very persuasive.
00:19:20.000 And I think that that image is far better than a political attack ad of how radical Kamala Harris is.
00:19:27.000 By the way, that's very important.
00:19:28.000 We should do that.
00:19:29.000 But I think this is, it is a, it is demonstrative of what we are living through.
00:19:36.000 We are living through a crippled country, a regime that has no concern whatsoever.
00:19:44.000 Let's play this piece of tape here of President Trump yesterday.
00:19:47.000 I'm trying to find it.
00:19:48.000 There's of him talking about the withdrawal from Afghanistan.
00:19:58.000 So Donald Trump had this press conference yesterday about grocery prices.
00:20:05.000 And then Donald Trump mentioned the Afghanistan withdrawal.
00:20:08.000 The essence of what is happening on the ground in Afghanistan right now is a microcosm of
00:20:16.000 what is going to occur if Kamala Harris takes over the entire country. 1.00
00:20:21.000 And she is currently running the country, just so we are clear. 0.98
00:20:24.000 She is currently running our government. 0.98
00:20:29.000 She couldn't care less about this military parade.
00:20:31.000 Let me say again what should have happened.
00:20:33.000 If we got wind that they were going to do a military parade with our equipment.
00:20:40.000 We have drones in the region.
00:20:42.000 We should have just carpet bombed the parade. 0.98
00:20:45.000 We could have given heads up.
00:20:47.000 Be like, hey, you guys are going to parade with our stuff.
00:20:49.000 Get the women and children out of the way. 1.00
00:20:51.000 We're going to bomb our own equipment.
00:20:52.000 It's our stuff after all.
00:20:54.000 Instead, the Taliban is trying to remind you, America is not what it once was.
00:21:01.000 What a perfect example.
00:21:03.000 We're not what we once were economically.
00:21:06.000 We're not what we once were?
00:21:07.000 And by the way, we should have bombed this equipment three years ago.
00:21:10.000 Why did we not bomb it on the way out?
00:21:12.000 If we were really about bombing it, by the way, I think we could have gotten it out.
00:21:16.000 It's not worth getting equipment out that's worth $100 billion.
00:21:18.000 This is what D.C.
00:21:19.000 does with your taxpayer dollars.
00:21:20.000 There's so much wrong with this.
00:21:21.000 Not only is it wrong morally and philosophically, it's also just terrible fiscal policy.
00:21:28.000 This is President Trump mentioning it yesterday.
00:21:30.000 I think he should do an entire event on this.
00:21:32.000 I think he's got to lean in.
00:21:33.000 I think this is much bigger than people realize.
00:21:36.000 The media has completely whitewashed this.
00:21:38.000 I think that if most Americans knew that at the Afghanistan Taliban, after 20 years, almost every swing voter in Pennsylvania has some connection to someone who served in the Afghan war.
00:21:51.000 Remember, as I said previously, Afghanistan destroyed Biden's numbers.
00:21:55.000 Let's play cut 176.
00:21:57.000 Speaking of Afghanistan, the single most embarrassing day in the history of our country. 1.00
00:22:05.000 And yesterday I saw the, you know, they gave $85 billion worth of brand new military equipment.
00:22:12.000 Equipment that I, I rebuilt the military, so this was equipment that to a large extent I bought.
00:22:18.000 But brand new, and they had a parade yesterday, a beautiful parade.
00:22:23.000 We were going to get out with dignity and strength.
00:22:25.000 We were there for 21 years.
00:22:27.000 And we were going to keep Bagram because it's one hour away.
00:22:29.000 Bagram is this massive air force base that I visited.
00:22:33.000 It's a massive base that we're going to keep it because it's one hour, not because of Afghanistan, but because it's one hour away from where China makes its nuclear weapons. 0.85
00:22:44.000 And they were showing it off yesterday, but the fact is that China now controls Bagram.
00:22:49.000 China, can you imagine that?
00:22:50.000 And we left.
00:22:51.000 We were going to stay there.
00:22:52.000 We were going to keep it.
00:22:53.000 We were going to get out with dignity, strength.
00:22:55.000 We were going to take our soldiers out last, not first.
00:23:00.000 So he's on the right message.
00:23:01.000 He's got to show, not tell.
00:23:03.000 I appreciate all that.
00:23:04.000 I think you did a good job there.
00:23:05.000 But instead, I think the next time he talks about this, he's got to show the screens and the projectors of exactly what's going there.
00:23:11.000 Okay, let's go to J.D.
00:23:12.000 Vance for a second here.
00:23:13.000 Of course, good friend of mine.
00:23:14.000 We want to support J.D.
00:23:15.000 Let's listen in on J.D.
00:23:16.000 Vance's press conference in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
00:23:21.000 To just be a citizen who wants basic public safety in this country.
00:23:25.000 So Kamala Harris is on a tour where she's trying to redefine her record as a tough on crime prosecutor. 0.89
00:23:32.000 And yet if you look at Kamala Harris' record as a prosecutor, it is the opposite of tough on crime.
00:23:38.000 For example, Kamala Harris pursued a policy that would recategorize people who had committed
00:23:44.000 sex crimes with minors and people who had raped unconscious victims as nonviolent crimes.
00:23:50.000 And what does that mean?
00:23:51.000 That means those people get out of prison earlier.
00:23:54.000 That means their victims have to suffer the psychological abuse of seeing them walking
00:23:58.000 around our streets sooner.
00:23:59.000 And that means the police officer have a few more sickos that they have to take care of
00:24:04.000 instead of being in prison where those sex offenders belong.
00:24:08.000 If Kamala Harris was so tough on crime, why is she making it easier for sex offenders to get out of prison? 1.00
00:24:15.000 I think the media should ask her that question.
00:24:16.000 Of course, Kamala Harris refuses to answer questions, but this is important stuff.
00:24:21.000 I grew up in a family where we didn't have a whole lot of money, and I was raised by a tough-as-nails grandmother who, despite the fact that we didn't always live in the easiest neighborhood, We had something that our country believed every child deserved, whether they were rich or poor, our country believed that every child deserved public safety.
00:24:41.000 And as Republicans, we don't think the government should do everything, but the things that it needs to do, it has to do well, and public safety is at the very top of the list.
00:24:52.000 How can you have a country, how can you have an American dream, how can you have Poor children who look to the future with optimism and hope if they can't walk down the streets of their neighborhood safely. 0.88
00:25:02.000 And these police officers fight to make that a reality every single day.
00:25:08.000 And Kamala Harris is making their job harder, and Donald Trump is going to make their lives easier.
00:25:12.000 That's why we're going to reelect him the 47th president of the United States
00:25:15.000 So, let me just offer one final observation here because he has some of these issues are connected
00:25:27.000 Some of these problems are obviously linked to one another and talking at the roundtable with the police officers and the sheriffs really drove that point home.
00:25:35.000 So I talked to one sheriff who lives about an hour away from downtown Milwaukee.
00:25:39.000 And even though he lives an hour away from downtown Milwaukee, he has Mexican drug cartel members who have been doing business selling drugs and harming the citizens of his community. 0.89
00:25:52.000 When you hear Republicans say every state is a border state, that is not just a slogan.
00:25:57.000 That is a sad reflection of the reality that we have drug cartels operating about as far north in this country as we possibly could.
00:26:04.000 What a disgrace.
00:26:06.000 You hear people talk about arresting illegal immigrants and how the illegal immigrants completely run away, refuse to obey the commands of law enforcement.
00:26:14.000 Why?
00:26:15.000 Why do they completely refuse to obey the commands of law enforcement?
00:26:18.000 Because they got into this country in the first place under the promise that law enforcement wouldn't stop them and wouldn't enforce the law. 0.98
00:26:26.000 So the border policies that we have at the southern border They make our communities less safe even as far north as Wisconsin.
00:26:34.000 It means Mexican drug cartels operating in our communities.
00:26:38.000 It means people dying of fentanyl.
00:26:40.000 I talked to another police officer who talked about we have fentanyl not just in heroin and opioids and even prescription pills or I guess I guess non-prescription pills that are sold on the street.
00:26:51.000 We've got heroin and we've got fentanyl, excuse me, we've got fentanyl in our marijuana bags that our teenagers are using.
00:27:00.000 And look, I'm the parent of three young kids.
00:27:03.000 My wife is here, and I'm thrilled to have her join.
00:27:05.000 We've got a seven-year-old, a four-year-old, and a two-year-old.
00:27:07.000 We don't have to worry about this yet.
00:27:09.000 But I'm certain, because kids are kids, that one day, one of my kids is going to take something or do something that I don't want them to take.
00:27:16.000 But I don't want that mistake to ruin their life.
00:27:19.000 I want them to learn from it.
00:27:20.000 I want their parents to be able to punish them.
00:27:23.000 I don't want our kids to make mistakes on American streets and have it take their lives away from them.
00:27:29.000 That is in some ways what this fentanyl crisis has done.
00:27:32.000 Normal American teenager mistakes have become death sentences because Kamala Harris refuses to do her job. 1.00
00:27:40.000 And I think it's time for all of us to say to Kamala Harris, You want a promotion? 0.99
00:27:44.000 You want a promotion after your record as Vice President?
00:27:47.000 We think you ought to be fired, and that's exactly what we're going to do come November.
00:27:51.000 Thank you all for being here.
00:27:52.000 To the police officers...
00:27:56.000 To the police officers, we support you.
00:27:58.000 We love you.
00:27:59.000 We know it's not easy to be a police officer.
00:28:01.000 We know we're losing a lot of good people from the force. 0.98
00:28:04.000 Some due to retirement, but some, they're just sick of all the garbage.
00:28:08.000 But I'd ask you, keep at it for as long as you can.
00:28:12.000 Keep doing this important work because there are a lot of us out there who are grateful for it.
00:28:17.000 In about six months, your job's going to become a hell of a lot easier.
00:28:19.000 God bless you guys, and thank you for having me here in Wisconsin.
00:28:26.000 What we'll do here is we'll take a few questions from reporters before we get on our way.
00:28:30.000 And what I would ask is, we'll get to the national reporters if we've got time, but if you're a local Wisconsin reporter, either in the Milwaukee area or outside of it, maybe start there, raise your hand, and I'll call on you first.
00:28:43.000 So we got anybody?
00:28:45.000 Ma'am, in the NEL address.
00:28:46.000 Okay, everybody, that is JD Vance, who, by the way, is I think the all-star of the last two weeks.
00:28:55.000 I think J.D.
00:28:56.000 Vance has been just absolutely terrific.
00:28:57.000 I want your thoughts.
00:28:58.000 Freedom at CharlieKirk.com.
00:28:59.000 Have you guys been happy that you're seeing from J.D.
00:29:01.000 Vance?
00:29:02.000 And just so we are clear, there are two coming obstacles for this campaign for Trump that we know of.
00:29:07.000 They're going to have more. 1.00
00:29:08.000 And yes, they might do monkey pox or some sort of stupid stuff like that. 1.00
00:29:12.000 Number one is the DNC. 1.00
00:29:13.000 That's going to be annoying.
00:29:14.000 We'll have to navigate that thicket.
00:29:16.000 That is, unless the Hamas crew does it for us. 1.00
00:29:19.000 Number two is sentencing.
00:29:20.000 They very well might sentence Donald Trump to prison in September.
00:29:23.000 We have to keep our eyes on that.
00:29:25.000 And I think what they're going to do, they're going to sentence Donald Trump effective in 2025.
00:29:30.000 Trying to hurt him politically, but he still can campaign.
00:29:33.000 That is my guess.
00:29:34.000 I hope I'm wrong.
00:29:35.000 Somebody asked, Charlie, what is the point of J.D.
00:29:37.000 Vance talking to small groups?
00:29:38.000 Because it's not about the group.
00:29:40.000 It's a press conference.
00:29:41.000 It's for all the cameras, all the millions of people at home that are watching this.
00:29:45.000 I think J.D.
00:29:45.000 Vance is doing a wonderful job.
00:29:47.000 All right, let me read more emails here that we've received.
00:29:50.000 Sierra says, regarding Afghanistan, there are numerous troops that were also maimed, losing arms and legs.
00:29:55.000 I'm not sure of the count or list of injuries.
00:29:57.000 Thank you for your patriotism.
00:29:58.000 God bless you.
00:29:59.000 And thank you.
00:30:00.000 Thank you for your efforts in Arizona.
00:30:01.000 Sierra says, God bless you, Sierra.
00:30:02.000 That's a very important point.
00:30:03.000 You're exactly right.
00:30:04.000 Let's go here.
00:30:06.000 Yeah, let's go to J.D.
00:30:07.000 No one talks about the interpreters and thousands of US allies that were abandoned and betrayed
00:30:10.000 by our government, that were promised to protect them to get them to the US.
00:30:14.000 The 300 plus killed the thousands in hiding and the Taliban now use our weapons equipment
00:30:20.000 to kill them and hunt them. 0.69
00:30:21.000 Very smart point, Joshua. 1.00
00:30:22.000 We betrayed them.
00:30:23.000 Yeah, let's go to JD Vance.
00:30:26.000 My man who is crushing it.
00:30:28.000 Let's hear J.D.
00:30:28.000 Vance taking questions live from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
00:30:31.000 Say they know that he just is who he is, right?
00:30:34.000 I'd much rather have a political candidate who I disagreed with 25% of the time but was a real human being and was willing to speak off the cuff than to have somebody like Kamala Harris who hides behind a teleprompter and doesn't speak to the American people directly Unless she's got a script in front of her telling her exactly what to say. 1.00
00:30:52.000 I think the unscripted nature of President Trump is one of the reasons why his campaign gives a pretty good insight into the kind of president that he's going to be.
00:31:00.000 Now that said, we are focusing a lot on policy.
00:31:03.000 We're here in Wisconsin today.
00:31:04.000 Talking about public safety.
00:31:06.000 I was in Pennsylvania yesterday talking about veterans issues.
00:31:09.000 I was in Michigan the day before talking about how we have to stop the trade and energy policies that ship all of our manufacturing jobs to China.
00:31:17.000 When Donald Trump was president, 12,000 American factories opened.
00:31:22.000 The previous two terms, 60,000 American factories had closed.
00:31:26.000 So we are talking about the policy and we're talking about the issues and we're going to keep on doing that.
00:31:30.000 But my only advice to my running mate is be yourself.
00:31:34.000 And let people see who you are, and I think he's doing that every day on the campaign trail.
00:31:40.000 Anything else?
00:31:41.000 Jason Calvi with Fox 6 here in Milwaukee.
00:31:43.000 Democrats are criticizing your visit here to the police union.
00:31:46.000 They say, you know, you're running mate is a convicted felon.
00:31:49.000 They also pointed January 6th.
00:31:50.000 Your reaction to that?
00:31:51.000 Well look, I think that Kamala Harris has weaponized the Department of Justice, not just against my running mate, not just against President Trump, but against a whole host of normal Americans for just exercising their First Amendment rights. 0.51
00:32:02.000 I mean, not maybe the most significant scandal, but certainly a very large scandal, is the Department of Justice went after a pro-life Catholic father of seven for exercising his right to peacefully protest.
00:32:14.000 The Department of Justice showed up, the Department of Justice leadership had officers show up
00:32:19.000 at this guy's house and treat him like a common thug for exercising his right of First Amendment
00:32:24.000 protest.
00:32:25.000 And I think that every single police officer here would agree with me when they say that
00:32:29.000 we want a strong Department of Justice that focuses on law enforcement.
00:32:34.000 Why don't they focus on shutting down the drug traffickers at the southern border and
00:32:38.000 the sex traffickers and let Americans exercise their First Amendment rights? 1.00
00:32:42.000 That's not what the leadership of the Department of Justice should be focused on, but unfortunately, under Kamala Harris, it has. 0.92
00:32:47.000 So, I think that we are clearly the party and the movement of law enforcement.
00:32:52.000 You talk to the field guys and the FBI, the people who are actually on the ground dealing with the bad guys, and they're as frustrated with their leadership as we are.
00:33:01.000 We just want American leadership to empower law enforcement to enforce the laws.
00:33:06.000 It's going to make us all safer if we do that.
00:33:08.000 Any other local Wisconsin folks?
00:33:10.000 If not, I'll take a couple from the National Pool.
00:33:14.000 Okay, sir.
00:33:15.000 Senator Vance, Chris Cameron with the New York Times.
00:33:17.000 You were talking about the relationship between crime and immigration, and my question is on that issue.
00:33:22.000 Please.
00:33:22.000 In an interview when you were running for Senate in September 2021, you were speaking with Jack Murphy, and you were talking about previous waves of immigration to the United States.
00:33:31.000 You said the following, you had this massive wave of primarily Italian, Irish, and German immigration, and that had its problems and that had its consequences.
00:33:40.000 You pointed to these problems as being higher crime rates, ethnic enclaves, and inter-ethnic conflict.
00:33:46.000 Should the United States have prescribed similar policies to what you're proposing now, including mass deportation, to deal with those issues?
00:33:54.000 Well, first of all, I also said there were a lot of benefits to that wave of immigration.
00:33:57.000 But has anybody ever seen the movie, Games of New York?
00:34:00.000 That's what I'm talking about.
00:34:01.000 We know that when you have these massive ethnic enclaves forming in our country, it can sometimes lead to higher crime rates. 1.00
00:34:07.000 What we want is an American immigration policy that promotes assimilation. 0.98
00:34:11.000 No matter where you come from, you can become an American, but only if we have an immigration policy 0.98
00:34:16.000 that promotes assimilation, instead of doing things like what we've done over the last few years,
00:34:20.000 which is have 20, 25 million illegal aliens just setting up shop here with no control,
00:34:26.000 no enforcement, and no real ability to police what's going on.
00:34:30.000 That is a disaster.
00:34:31.000 And in fact, what we did back in the early 20th century is that we recognized,
00:34:37.000 and I think that we have to do that today, we recognized that at a certain level,
00:34:40.000 America is a welcoming country to immigrants, but can only take so many people. 1.00
00:34:44.000 We cannot take the entire world into this country.
00:34:47.000 And I think that we're at a stage right now where we have to say, we've got to slow those illegal immigration levels to zero. 0.87
00:34:54.000 We do have to deport some people who have come here illegally, and I think that will promote assimilation and a common American culture that's in the best interest of everybody.
00:35:02.000 Look, I'm married to the daughter of South Asian immigrants.
00:35:05.000 One of the reasons why I think that we have such a wonderful and successful marriage is because we both very much feel like America is our home, like our children belong here.
00:35:16.000 It's beautiful.
00:35:17.000 J.D.
00:35:17.000 Vance with a great answer on immigration.
00:35:19.000 That's exactly how you have to answer it.
00:35:21.000 Talking about no more illegal immigration.
00:35:23.000 Yes, of course, we're going to bring some people into the country if we need them.
00:35:27.000 On our terms.
00:35:28.000 Newcomers come to our country on our terms. 1.00
00:35:30.000 And then he segues to his wife and that story about a combined American culture.
00:35:34.000 Our home.
00:35:36.000 J.D.
00:35:36.000 Vance is in terrific form.
00:35:38.000 He's in fighting shape right now.
00:35:40.000 And I just, I told the campaign, I told J.D., every single day, you should be doing a press conference with J.D.
00:35:46.000 Vance.
00:35:46.000 Every single day.
00:35:48.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
