00:03:10.000And now, as the jury is deliberating around a story that dominated the news cycle a couple years ago, I'm, of course, talking about the Jussie Smollett incident.
00:03:25.000Now, this happened almost three years ago.
00:03:32.000Jussie Smollett is a failed actor and an awful singer who lives in Chicago.
00:03:39.000Jussie Smollett is a gay black man, and he is currently facing a disorderly conduct charge and filing a false police report to set up an attack on himself on the night of January 29th.
00:03:53.000Now, many of you listening right now might not remember all the details around this, and the importance of this story is very simple.
00:04:00.000It's that every single day we are told by the activist press, the New York Times, the Washington Post, academia, Facebook, Harvard, every major institution that America is systemically racist, that hate crimes are on the rise.
00:04:15.000Even though the type of hate crimes that are on the rise are black on Asian hate crimes, even though the type of hate crimes that are not even being reported are Christmas trees being burned all across the country.
00:04:25.000For example, if a menorah was burned, it would rightly be called a hate crime.
00:04:30.000If a mosque was burned, it would rightly be called a hate crime.
00:04:33.000But if a Christmas tree is burned, people laugh at it.
00:04:36.000The Christmas tree outside of Fox News was just burned a couple days ago, and the suspect was released with basically no bail.
00:04:43.000Same happened in Chicago, same happened in Oakland.
00:04:48.000You see, this idea of hate crimes is something that's taken very seriously by the Biden Department of Justice.
00:04:55.000But America is actually such a decent country.
00:04:58.000We're actually so incredibly good to each other, given all the differences that we're supposed to focus on, that we have a supply and demand issue when it comes to racism.
00:05:10.000We have such a low supply of racism and a high demand that it requires con artists like Jussie Smollett to create racism where it doesn't exist to try and draw attention to himself.
00:05:22.000Put very simply and plainly, if you are a victim of a hate crime, it's like winning the lottery.
00:06:10.000By the way, let me just be very clear.
00:06:13.000If Jussie gets found guilty, I doubt he'll serve prison time, okay?
00:06:17.000This is more just kind of a let's get this out of the way thing, but it's important.
00:06:22.000It's important because then Senator Kamala Harris immediately went to bat for this fake story.
00:06:27.000It's important because Robin Williams, I think that's her name, black journalist, immediately interviewed Jussie Smollett and went all in for this story.
00:06:38.000Every media outlet said, oh my goodness, it's so terrible that to make America great, two MAGA hat-wearing white people were walking the streets when it was negative 20 degrees in Chicago and threw a rope around a black gay actor.
00:07:01.000As soon as I heard this story, I said, wait a second, hold on.
00:07:03.000You're trying to tell me that two white men wearing MAGA hats at 2 a.m. when it was negative 20 degrees outside, one of the coldest days in Chicago on January 29th, they then found Jesse Smollett and threw a rope around him.
00:07:39.000For anyone out there that is thinking of staging or faking a hate crime, which happens a lot, by the way, don't use black Nigerians to try to stage a white supremacist hate crime.
00:08:21.000One of our Turning Point USA students was totally smeared and slandered in Minnesota for being a white supremacist, and it ended up being a total fake text message that was released.
00:08:38.000There's a running website that does this.
00:08:40.000So Smollett calls his co-conspirators, the Nigerians.
00:08:45.000Amibola Osundario says the attack would take place at 2 a.m. at the corner of New and North Streets, a predetermined location.
00:08:56.000Then the Nigerian brothers order a Uber rideshare, which picks the brothers up at their Lakeview apartment.
00:09:03.000Surveillance video shows that the Osenderio brothers on foot in an area boarded on the north of Illinois Street, south by the Chicago River.
00:09:12.000Smollett then arrives at a Streeterville apartment from the O'Hare airport.
00:09:17.000Smollett then leaves to go get subway at 2 a.m.

00:12:09.000Kamala Harris said that this was a modern day lynching when it came to Jussie Smollett.
00:12:17.000Cut 67, Smollett in 2019, February 2019, said that we have fear mongers that are trying to separate us.
00:13:11.000The Empire actor who faces charges of lying to Chicago police also revealed he received a text from CNN's Don Lemon during the investigation, relaying that officers didn't believe his account of what happened.
00:13:22.000My favorite clip, and this goes to show everything that you need to know about it, is the police officers come in to help him, and he still has the rope around his neck.
00:13:36.000You're so terrified that two white people wearing Make America Great Again hats are trying to kill you, and it's a hate crime while you get Subway and it's negative 50 degrees with wind chill.
00:13:48.000And you're so incredibly taken back by that, you continue to wear the rope as a piece of, I guess you could call it jewelry.
00:15:26.000It could be like an OJ thing where you just have someone that convinces the jury because they hate the police and they hate the Chicago police or whatever.
00:15:34.000Is that there were hundreds of police officers that were directed off the beat, that there were murders that probably got unresponded to because of what happened with Jesse Smollett.
00:15:44.000Because if there really was a hate crime in downtown Chicago of two white rural anti-gay people wearing MAGA hats walking the streets negative 50 degrees, it could happen to anyone.
00:15:57.000But in reality, it was two Nigerian brothers who were paid by Jussie Smollett to stage this entire thing.
00:16:06.000That goes to the point about incentives.
00:16:09.000They would do that because the way you become popular in the postmodern America is not through winning a Grammy, which Jussie Smollett would never do, or winning an Emmy, which Jesse Smollett would never be able to do.
00:16:29.000The point is that instead of trying to apply himself and become a better person and get popularity that way, as if popularity is something you should care about, he says, no, I would rather be known for being a victim.
00:16:44.000You see, Jussie Smollett, he designed this hate crime, fake hate crime, to satisfy the insatiable appetite of the demand of the media and of the people, which is that we like lifting up victims more than victors.

00:19:08.000OSHA showed up last week and they gave, they went and got a restraining order after I let him in, telling him they need to call our lawyer.
00:19:16.000And they came back with a restraining order and they are wanting to find out all of our health measures, not just the physical H1, typical OSHA stuff, which is fine with me.
00:19:27.000But now it's, are the kids doing what they're supposed to do?
00:19:30.000Are they social distancing, wearing masks?
00:20:37.000They got a warrant from the court to come investigate and interrogate the employees.
00:20:44.000It's just unprecedented to have a church that is in the crosshairs, frankly, to this degree of the giant bureaucracy of the Santa Clara County, the state of California, and as Mike said, the weapon that they're using, OSHA.
00:21:08.000And we're finding that not only here, but they're going against churches and Christian schools throughout the state with OSHA.
00:21:16.000I've had numerous churches and schools, Christian schools that have called me with regard to OSHA sending them letters, as well as the state licensing board for preschools and other county health officials.
00:21:31.000So they're not relenting here in California.
00:21:36.000And, you know, this is, it's almost like I picture Mike as being that young Chinese student who stood in front of the tanks in Tiananmen Square.
00:21:46.000We have to put a stop to this here in California.
00:21:49.000Oh, I mean, to say the least, and Mike, you deserve so much credit.
00:21:54.000You have accrued 3.8 million fine and dollars in fines against the county.
00:21:59.000And just for our national listeners, Calvary Chapel, San Jose is right near the big tech kind of enterprise.
00:22:09.000It's right in the belly of the beast, if you will.
00:22:12.000So, Bob, I want to ask you, so what right does California OSHA have to show up to an elementary school or high school?
00:22:20.000They're mostly supposed to look at job sites and, you know, kind of if there's something that has huge occupational risk, what is the precedent for this?
00:22:30.000And it seems so similar to what the federal government is threatening to do with OSHA nationwide.
00:22:38.000And they're coming in under the guise of employee safety, that there are teachers who are employed by the school.
00:22:46.000And this is going to be a significant religious liberty issue as well.
00:22:50.000There is a doctrine of church autonomy that says, hey, the government has to stay out of schools.
00:22:56.000It has to stay out of the relationship between the, excuse me, they have to stay out of church schools, that is, and stay out of churches itself.
00:23:05.000Now, when you have employees who are working for a church, there is going to be an argument that we're going to raise that says you don't have the right to interfere in the relationship between the church and its ministers.
00:24:29.000And you just see the pervasiveness of wickedness in our culture that's now being accepted as morality and celebrated.
00:24:38.000And everything that's right, everything that God ordained as true and wholesome is now under attack.
00:24:45.000And so Paul says in 2 Timothy 3 that if you're going to live godly, this is one of those promises that we don't like to have in our promise books, but if you're going to live godly in Christ Jesus, you will suffer persecution.
00:24:56.000And so I think as Christians, we have to count the cost today.
00:25:01.000If we're going to hold on to our jobs and we're trying to hold on to our nice American dream and this life that we think we're going to get again, it's not going to come back.
00:26:19.000Now, I don't know if we'll ever get back to that, but I do believe it's the pastor's responsibility to bring the gospel and to be shepherds.
00:26:28.000And a shepherd is to lay down his life for the sheep.
00:26:33.000We have people who are just taking a job and they're living Christianity, you know, very much like the church of Laodicea in a lukewarm manner.
00:26:42.000And God says, I want you to be hot or cold, but don't be lukewarm.
00:26:46.000And I think it's where God's saying, look, stand up, regardless of the persecution and the consequences, do what's right.
00:27:39.000And they have threatened the county council, James Williams, has threatened the church's mortgage holder because you guys open your church.
00:27:47.000They've demanded the discovery of the names of your members, your volunteers and donors, and financial records.
00:27:54.000So far, there's been 2,700 hours of attorney hours defending Calvary Chapel, San Jose.
00:28:01.000And if Calvary Chapel, San Jose, had to pay that, if it wasn't for Bob Tyler's amazing organization, it would be well over a million dollars in fees to date.
00:28:13.000The only thing you're missing out of that story is the goodness of God when you hear a young couple who were a young woman from Russia who came to church when Mike was defying the orders.
00:28:25.000And she said, I've been looking for a church.
00:28:28.000And she comes to Mike and says, I was talking to my mom this morning in Moscow.
00:28:32.000And she said, our churches have been open this whole time.
00:28:35.000And she said, it sounds like California is more communist than we are here in Russia.
00:28:41.000But thanks to Mike and, you know, the goodness of God that we have seen people come to the Lord and people probably avoided suicide over and over again thanks to what Mike's been doing in this dark part of California.

00:29:26.000But I just want to end with this, that we have a landscape right now where people want to sit idly by and they hope that the storm ends.

00:29:35.000And I want every listener to help you guys out, to pressure the city council to lay off the church, to say that this is a red line for religious liberty, and we're not going to put up with this.
00:29:46.000We need to flood the supervisors' offices and emails and say, leave the church alone.

00:33:12.000He said, getting vaccinated should be a decision between an individual and his or her doctor.
00:33:17.000It shouldn't be up to any politician, especially in a mandate coming down from that highest authority, the president.
00:35:01.000Some of the anti-vaxxers here in this chamber remind me of what happened 400 years ago when people were clinging to the fact that the sun revolved around the earth.
00:35:27.000Well, first of all, if you actually read your Bible or your Torah, Chuck Schumer, you would realize that a spherical earth is actually in the Old Testament.
