00:01:21.000 Go to andrewandtodd.com, the wonderfulandrewandodd.com.
00:01:28.000 There's moments in time, and there are stories that happen where you just take a pause, and the evil that is committed is just so overwhelming.
00:01:39.000 It almost like ruins your day.
00:01:42.000 And it just impacts everything you do.
00:01:46.000 And it kind of dominates the conversation for the time being between your friends and family members.
00:01:54.000 There's some things that happen where the actions are so horrific, they're just so plainly evil that through any sort of human reason or reflection, you can't even imagine how someone would do that.
00:02:12.000 Now, I'm, of course, talking about the school shooting that happened yesterday in Uvalde, Texas.
00:02:20.000 We know that there is evil in the world.
00:02:23.000 This show, we talk about a lot of evil things.
00:02:25.000 We talk about how the few want to rule the many, about how our rights are being taken away, about the ever kind of growing organization of biomedical fascism.
00:02:38.000 We are not a stranger to evil on this program.
00:02:43.000 But when you have a situation that unfolded that would happen in Uvalde, Texas, yesterday, where a shooter goes in, and we're going to go through all the details of what we know and what we don't know, and seemingly randomly picked this school as a place to go in and just lock himself into a classroom and in cold blood murder children, fourth graders,
00:03:12.000 19 children, and two teachers.
00:03:15.000 It just kind of takes your breath away.
00:03:18.000 And they're really, and this is the first point I want to make, is that it isn't a political thing.
00:03:23.000 And of course, it immediately becomes a political thing.
00:03:27.000 It doesn't have to be.
00:03:28.000 We could debate gun policy for the next week or two or the next month.
00:03:32.000 I'm more than willing to do that.
00:03:35.000 But it's just so disappointing and predictable and bad for the country, by the way, where you can't just have like a moment where you internalize and you say, my goodness, that's really evil.
00:03:47.000 Instead, it's almost this seamless action done by the media, and it's so wrong.
00:03:54.000 And it's bad for the country, where instantaneously they get into a default setting of we need gun legislation, we need to abolish the filibuster.
00:04:06.000 There should be some time of mourning and recognition of the act of evil.
00:04:12.000 Now, this is going to get a lot of media coverage, we believe, for the foreseeable future.
00:04:17.000 We're going to make some predictions on how this unfolds, but here's what we know.
00:04:21.000 So, this undeniably evil person, which is just the closest thing to a demon I've seen in a very long time, and I mean that literally and figuratively, got in a fight with his grandmother, just killed his grandmother, and then gets into a car and heads toward an elementary school,
00:04:48.000 crashes his car and totals his car outside of the elementary school, comes outside of the elementary school, comes outside of the car and walks into the elementary school and abandoned his vehicle, entered Robb Elementary School with a handgun, and he may have also had a rifle.
00:05:09.000 Now, I just want to take a pause.
00:05:12.000 The left is already immediately politicizing this about gun confiscation.
00:05:20.000 Now, we are going to be forced to respond, and we will respond after we have a chance to mourn and actually talk about what happened.
00:05:28.000 The type of gun that was used is going to be very important in us being able to respond to Joe Biden and all these politicians that want to confiscate guns.
00:05:40.000 It's very important because Joe Biden is making an argument that we need to confiscate all automatic rifles.
00:05:48.000 And this was long-range rifle.
00:05:51.000 We don't know yet.
00:05:52.000 And so, those kind of particulars are going to be very important for us, people that actually appreciate constitutional rights and the right to protect oneself and gun rights, to be able to make a coherent argument in response.
00:06:03.000 But we'll get to that.
00:06:04.000 There'll be plenty of time to build that out, that's for sure.
00:06:08.000 The suspected shooter, who may have had a handgun and a rifle, was also killed when law enforcement confronted him at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, about 83 miles west of San Antonio.
00:06:18.000 Quote: It is believed that he abandoned his vehicle and entered Robb Elementary School.
00:06:21.000 Okay.
00:06:22.000 So, Lieutenant Chris Alvarez of the Texas Department of Public Safety said the suspect shot his grandmother, who was hospitalized in critical condition, apparently after he crashed nearby, went on campus and opened fire.
00:06:37.000 He started shooting every single person that was in front of him.
00:06:41.000 Officers outside could hear gunshots, but couldn't get in as they were met with a barrage of gunfire.
00:06:47.000 Some were wounded.
00:06:49.000 They eventually resorted to breaking windows to evacuate children and staffers that they could.
00:06:56.000 The Texas Department of Public Safety said the shooter was wearing body armor and carried a rifle.
00:07:02.000 But Alvarez said on MSNBC, he believed the shooter wore a type of vest that tactical teams use.
00:07:07.000 It's not clear if the shooter added ballistic protection to the vest.
00:07:12.000 We now have learned that the shooter did not have a criminal history and was unemployed with no friends, no girlfriend that we can identify.
00:07:20.000 Cut 68 is Bill Melusian doing a rundown of the facts that we know.
00:07:23.000 Let's play Cut 68.
00:07:25.000 And the morbid details that we are getting from this shooting is: this shooter went into one single fourth-grade classroom, locked himself in, barricaded it, and essentially almost all of the casualties from this incident were in that one single classroom.
00:07:42.000 So that's just a small clip, short clip from Bill Melusian.
00:07:46.000 And so he just locked himself in one classroom and Did the unspeakable, horrific act.
00:07:55.000 Now, how he got these weapons, we will learn.
00:07:57.000 What gun laws might have been violated in getting those weapons, we will learn.
00:08:01.000 The left doesn't want to hear this, but this is the truth: that in society, there are some very sick people.
00:08:10.000 And this person was demented and evil.
00:08:15.000 Now, the left tried to spend the last couple of weeks trying to over-racialize this, all these mass shootings.
00:08:23.000 We refused to do that and pushed back against it.
00:08:25.000 They're going to struggle to do that here.
00:08:28.000 I'm not going to say the shooter's name, but the shooter was Hispanic.
00:08:32.000 So, they won't be able to racialize this one because they try to do that every single time.
00:08:37.000 So, they're going to focus particularly on just guns and firearms.
00:08:43.000 But it's a very important takeaway immediately as we try to get all the facts and take pause and not try to enthusiastically run into a position to change public policy too quickly, is to do the following, which is we must not allow emotions to dictate gun policy.
00:09:01.000 Tyrants would love nothing more than to capitalize on an evil tragedy as an excuse to confiscate your guns and weapons and limit your ability to protect yourself.
00:09:12.000 Unfortunately, I have been in this space for 10 years in the sense that I've seen many of these: Sandy Hook, Marjorie Stoneman Douglas.
00:09:24.000 What usually happens and what's going to happen in the coming days and weeks is there will be a coalition, a drumbeat, media coverage that will increase over a period of time.
00:09:34.000 But then there is eventually a cooling off period, a week later, 10 days later, where then people say, wait a second, if you take guns away, how will I be able to protect my family against criminals?
00:09:46.000 And then that cooling off period is typically when all of a sudden, hopefully, cooler and more reasonable heads can prevail.
00:09:54.000 The sooner we can get to that, the better.
00:09:59.000 The media is going to try to keep us in a position of mass hysteria, high emotion, to try to build a consensus of public policy for gun confiscation and for unconstitutional, anti-constitutional firearm legislation.
00:10:18.000 Look, over the years, you've probably tried difficult investments in stocks and mutual funds.
00:10:22.000 So you know they could be volatile and unpredictable.
00:10:25.000 But with inflation running at the highest rate of 40 years, do you want volatility and uncertainty?
00:10:30.000 Being able to sleep at night, knowing where your money actually is, it's worth its weight in gold.
00:10:35.000 And speaking of gold, if you've been jumping from one investment to the other, a gold IRA from Noble Gold might be perfect for you.
00:10:41.000 A reliable hedge against inflation just fell into our laps.
00:10:45.000 With gold, you shield yourself from gains and taxes.
00:10:48.000 You keep the real value of your wealth.
00:10:50.000 You'll own a global asset.
00:10:51.000 It's something tangible and protect your wealth against an economic crash.
00:10:55.000 I own gold and you should as well.
00:10:57.000 So what's not to like?
00:10:58.000 And this month, for every gold IRA above $20,000, you'll get an incredible three-ounce silver American virtue coin completely free as a thank you.

00:11:19.000 Tragedy Nuvalde.
00:11:20.000 We're going to learn more as the days progress.
00:11:24.000 And Joe Biden is such a, he's such a bad person.
00:11:28.000 He really is.
00:11:29.000 I don't say that lightly.
00:11:31.000 I wish he was just a buffoon, but he's got something in him and that motivates him that is just about power and is about something that isn't about being president of the United States.
00:11:49.000 So he had an opportunity to unite the country and to mourn and not overly politicize yesterday.
00:11:56.000 Instead, he went right into DNC talking points, anti-gun grabbing kind of sound bites.
00:12:04.000 And I mean, I was traveling yesterday.
00:12:07.000 I was doing a couple of things.
00:12:08.000 We're going to be in Indiana tonight, by the way.
00:12:10.000 And so I didn't really have it.
00:12:12.000 I've watched zero cable news, zero, since yesterday.
00:12:16.000 And I encourage you to do that in times of mass tragedy like this.
00:12:19.000 Listen to talk radio, listen to podcasts.
00:12:21.000 I think it'll actually give you more clarity because cable news is just really trying to provoke a reaction with these things.
00:12:29.000 It's Life Church, is what it's called in Indiana.
00:12:31.000 Life Church will be there with Micah Beckwith, right?
00:12:34.000 But Joe Biden went right in.
00:12:36.000 Joe Biden said, look, I now, we need to pass gun laws.
00:12:40.000 We need to pass the assault weapon ban.
00:12:44.000 Joe Biden did not miss a beat or an opportunity to try and resurrect his plummeting poll numbers to politically capitalize on the blood and the suffering and the tragedy of what happened in Uvalde.
00:13:00.000 And yes, I am accusing Joe Biden of politicizing this immediately.
00:13:05.000 There is no other interpretation of it.
00:13:08.000 The beginning of his speech was just fine.
00:13:09.000 It was standard boilerplate presidential speech, trying to be magnanimous.
00:13:14.000 Fine, no problem with that.
00:13:16.000 But then when you start to go in and you start to recite one by one by one, trying to all of a sudden broaden this to be something that it isn't, that like the deer in Kevlar Vest's talking point, which they think sounds really good, but they just make fools of themselves when they do it.
00:13:33.000 Hear it for yourself.
00:13:34.000 Play Cut61.
00:13:37.000 I am sick and tired of it.
00:13:40.000 We have to act.
00:13:43.000 And don't tell me we can't have an impact on this carnage.
00:13:49.000 I spent my career as a senator and a vice president working to pass common sense gun laws.
00:13:57.000 We can and won't prevent every tragedy, but we know they work and have positive impact.
00:14:03.000 When we passed the assault weapons ban, mass shootings went down.
00:14:07.000 When the law expired, mass shootings tripled.
00:14:13.000 He's doing everything he possibly can to demagogue the issue.
00:14:19.000 Now, those numbers are incredibly, let's just say, untrue and blurred.
00:14:26.000 We'll get into all of the facts.
00:14:27.000 So, I mean, I don't like this, but we're going to have to do this.
00:14:32.000 Every couple years, after MSD, Marjorie Stowman Douglas in Parkland, Florida, after Sandy Hook, we have to go dust off all of the arguments that we make to try to push back against the gun grabbers.
00:14:46.000 I wish there was a moment where we could say, wow, that was really terrible.
00:14:49.000 That person was basically the closest thing to a demon you're ever going to see.
00:14:55.000 That's evil.
00:14:56.000 It's something that you can't even comprehend.
00:14:59.000 Can we have like a couple days to maybe just mourn and to process this?
00:15:04.000 No, I have to immediately now go back into a gun control debate.
00:15:07.000 Fine.
00:15:08.000 I just, I don't do it willingly.
00:15:11.000 I do it reluctantly because I feel as if that's not the way human beings should process tragedy.
00:15:17.000 But if that's the case, then Joe Biden, then we're going to get back into the debate.
00:15:21.000 We're going to defend our Second Amendment rights.
00:15:22.000 We're going to add prudence.
00:15:24.000 And we are going to add reason and cross-examination of actually where the majority of gun crime happens in America.
00:15:30.000 The majority of gun crime actually happens in urban areas, in gang-related activity.
00:15:35.000 And even if you look at all the gun crime in America, 33,000 gun deaths on average a year, 66% of them are deaths by suicide that are counted as gun deaths.
00:15:43.000 We're the only country in the industrialized world that does that.
00:15:46.000 If this is now what we have to do, which it looks like we will, then buckle up, everybody.
00:15:51.000 Those of us that love the Constitution, we're going to now get back in.
00:15:54.000 And I want Joe Biden to answer why $40 billion to Ukraine was a higher priority than hiring armed guards at schools and having single point of entry.
00:16:05.000 Why is it that we're sending $40 billion to Ukraine, but no one thought, hey, maybe our schools are sitting ducks for maniacs that can go in and lock themselves and kill 19 children.
00:16:16.000 And some people say that's a red herring.
00:16:18.000 Two things are unrelated.
00:16:19.000 They're not.
00:16:20.000 We have said repeatedly on this program: politicians prioritize with urgent precision what matters to them.
00:16:27.000 And Kiev has mattered a lot more than elementary school protection, having armed guards, or having single-point entry.
00:16:36.000 Look, everybody, I know you love freedom and you want to defend it.
00:16:39.000 And I know you love the Constitution.
00:16:40.000 It's a beautiful document, and so do I.
00:16:42.000 And it's the same with Hillsdale College, the best liberal arts college in America.

00:17:52.000 Check it out right now, charlieforhillsdale.com.
00:17:57.000 Begrudgingly, we're going to get back into the gun control debate.
00:18:00.000 We're now going to defend our rights against people that want to take them away.
00:18:03.000 We're going to add clarity and we're going to add hopefully some wisdom to how we talk about weapons and how we talk about the Second Amendment against the highly emotional chatter that is going to enter the discourse.
00:18:16.000 We are prepared for this.
00:18:17.000 I lived through, not just lived through, I was front and center on a lot of the Sandy Hook, Sandy Hook, yes, but the Parkland shooting.
00:18:32.000 I got to know Kyle Kashuv, and I remember being in Washington, D.C. In fact, we're reposting a video of this.
00:18:39.000 And I kid you not, there must have been 100, 200,000 people.
00:18:44.000 Do you remember this?
00:18:45.000 The March for Our Lives?
00:18:47.000 David Hogg and all these people that were being platformed by celebrities all around a massive push for gun control, which of course was just a midterm push for the Democrats.
00:18:58.000 This was in February and March of 2018.
00:19:01.000 If I remember correctly, Parkland happened on Valentine's Day of 2018, February 14th, 2018.
00:19:11.000 And it just unfolded for months of gun control chatter.
00:19:16.000 And I went into the streets of that.
00:19:18.000 So in a moment, we're going to be joined by Drew Hernandez, who is actually on the border and then zipped over to Uvalde to do some frontlines reporting.
00:19:27.000 He helps run, he runs Frontlines for us at Turning Point USA.
00:19:31.000 Does a great job.
00:19:32.000 He had an amazing clip that came out where he was actually showing illegals getting put into buses and just walking into the interior of the United States.
00:19:40.000 So the attack began at 11:30 a.m. when the gunman crashed his car outside the school and ran into the building, according to a spokesman for Texas Department of Homeland Security Safety.
00:19:50.000 A resident who heard the crash called 911 and two local police officers exchanged gunfire with the shooter.
00:19:55.000 Both officers were shot.
00:19:57.000 It was not immediately clear where on the campus that confrontation occurred or how much time elapsed before the authorities arrived on scene.
00:20:05.000 To help make clarity of all this is Drew Hernandez, one of the best frontline reporters in America.
00:20:09.000 We're honored to have him at Turning Point USA.
00:20:11.000 Drew, welcome to the program.
00:20:12.000 You're on the front lines right now in Uvalde.
00:20:15.000 What are you seeing?
00:20:15.000 What are you hearing?
00:20:16.000 What are we missing in this tragic, horrific situation that our audience should be aware of?
00:20:23.000 It's definitely a horrific situation, Charlie.
00:20:26.000 And obviously, all the noise, the political noise that is predominantly coming from the left, the far left, they immediately pounce on this.
00:20:34.000 They make it about gun control.
00:20:35.000 They use the fear-mongering.
00:20:36.000 They use the manipulation of the people who push the political agendas.
00:20:40.000 And a lot of what actually happened gets lost in the transition because of this kind of stuff.
00:20:45.000 And they know this.
00:20:47.000 But I think the investigation is still underway right now.
00:20:49.000 It started immediately when I got on the ground yesterday.
00:20:52.000 The FBI was there.
00:20:54.000 The DEA was there.
00:20:55.000 Obviously, local law enforcement was that it was actually a Border Patrol agent that took down this murder that was killing children, a couple of teachers and adults.
00:21:04.000 So what's happening is I think a lot of information that's coming out specifically about the shooter is accurate, isn't accurate.
00:21:14.000 But what we do know is that this shooter did live locally.
00:21:18.000 He did attempt to kill his grandmother before he headed to the school.
00:21:23.000 And I talked to a couple eyewitnesses on the ground.
00:21:25.000 And it sounds like he had some kind of confrontation.
00:21:29.000 And local law enforcement confirmed this as well.
00:21:31.000 He did have a confrontation with his grandmother.
00:21:34.000 Not sure what it was over.
00:21:36.000 But once he tried to murder his grandmother, he left his house, took a truck, drove it to the school in the back of the school, ran it into a ditch, got out with his firearms, and then just started bum rushing the school and opening fire on some of the children.
00:21:51.000 Now, some of the details about this shooter are conflicting, but what we do know is he seems to be somewhat of a loner, somewhat kind of quiet, kept to himself, was bullied.
00:22:00.000 Apparently, some reports are coming out that he was bullied for having a lift, bullied for being different.
00:22:06.000 He was messaging people on Instagram, on social media, saying that he was going to do something violent, sending pictures of his magazines, of his weapons to random people, random girls on the internet.
00:22:16.000 Apparently, he worked, allegedly, he worked at Wendy's as well.
00:22:19.000 He would send disturbing, kind of inappropriate messages to women.
00:22:23.000 He sounds somewhat of an infel as well.
00:22:25.000 I'm not trying to be funny.
00:22:26.000 I think he kind of literally was.
00:22:29.000 Obviously, this is a disturbed individual that is willing to show up to murder children.
00:22:33.000 Charlie, it's a horrible situation.
00:22:35.000 But I'm en route right now back to Uvalde right now.
00:22:39.000 We're going to do some more digging on the ground to confirm some of these reports that we're seeing on social media.
00:22:45.000 We're going to talk with some of the surrounding residents and neighbors and people that live in the area.
00:22:50.000 I mean, last night, what was very sad, Charlie, is that the parents, and this is what really, I was going to be honest, this is what really pissed me off yesterday when I was watching this, is when I'm there on the ground, the parents were in a civic center and they were waiting for confirmation to learn whether their child was massacred or not.
00:23:09.000 And they were there, I think, till about maybe midnight when the reports started coming in to confirm that their child was dead or not.
00:23:16.000 They weren't even reunited with their children yet.
00:23:18.000 And before that even happened, the far left and these political hack jobs, okay, are already taking to Twitter and social media, politicizing something that shouldn't be politicized, making it about gun control, okay?
00:23:32.000 Using a crisis and not letting it go to waste.
00:23:34.000 They're already using these children and politicizing them before the parents could even confirm whether their child was dead or not, Charlie.
00:23:42.000 Okay, this is what these people do.
00:23:44.000 And for the record, they don't care about kids.
00:23:47.000 They don't care about them at all.
00:23:48.000 They don't even have the decency or respect to allow the parents to confirm whether their child is dead or not before they even take to social media to politicize a tragedy.
00:23:58.000 So, I mean, it's just, it's a horrific situation, Charlie, but I think just immediately politicizing it is just ridiculous.
00:24:05.000 We have to respect the community.
00:24:06.000 It's just sad.
00:24:07.000 It really is sad.
00:24:08.000 People are brokenhearted.
00:24:10.000 Well, Drew, great reporting there on the front lines.
00:24:10.000 Yeah.
00:24:13.000 We're going to have you back on the program from Uvalde in the coming days.
00:24:17.000 As you talk to community members, there's going to be a big controversy around what types of guns were used.
00:24:22.000 How did he get the guns?
00:24:24.000 What gun laws were followed or not followed.
00:24:27.000 We don't care about that unless the left cares about it as a way to try to use it as a public policy kind of crudgel over us.
00:24:34.000 And so it seems as if that is going to have to be something that is important.
00:24:39.000 And so as you get that information, we're going to have you back on.
00:24:42.000 Drew, safe journeys to Uvalde.
00:24:44.000 Thank you so much for joining us.
00:24:46.000 And please, as you're there on the ground, give our sympathies and our compassion to the entire community there.
00:24:53.000 Keep up the great work, Drew.
00:24:54.000 Thank you.
00:24:55.000 Absolutely.
00:24:56.000 Thank you, Charlie.
00:24:58.000 I want to go to Cut 69.
00:24:59.000 This is Tucker Carlson immediately reacting to Biden's address yesterday.
00:25:03.000 It's a very powerful clip.
00:25:05.000 Play Cut 69.
00:25:06.000 President of the United States, frail, confused, bitterly partisan, desecrating the memory of recently murdered children with tired talking points from the Democratic Party, dividing the country in a moment of deep pain rather than uniting.
00:25:21.000 His voice rising, amplified only as he repeats the talking points he repeated for over 35 years in the United States Senate, partisan politics being the only thing that animates him.
00:25:30.000 Unfit for leadership of this country.
00:25:33.000 That's exactly right.
00:25:35.000 Never let a crisis go to waste, as Ram Emmanuel would say.
00:25:39.000 And we know how to defend the Second Amendment.
00:25:44.000 We know how to add a different factual and reasonable narrative.
00:25:50.000 But we're onto the game at this point, unfortunately.
00:25:53.000 Joe Biden had an opportunity to say, look, I obviously want more gun control, but we're just going to focus on the tragedy at hand, and we're not going to try to make this a victory for one political party.
00:26:06.000 But putting points on the board for the Democrat National Committee is the only thing that might get Joe Biden a little bit excited.
00:26:14.000 Joe Manchin was asked about gun control legislation.
00:26:17.000 He said he would do anything I can to move common sense gun legislation forward, but refused to eliminate the filibuster to get gun legislation through the Senate.
00:26:27.000 So it doesn't look like that's going to be happening anytime soon.
00:26:29.000 It's going to happen, though, probably.
00:26:31.000 A bunch of states are probably going to pass more gun control legislation that might get struck down in the courts.
00:26:37.000 Thankfully, the courts have been doing a good job of upholding it.
00:26:41.000 But we know this, and we talk about it every time one of these tragedies happen, which is a gun is a tool.
00:26:46.000 A gun is a piece of technology.
00:26:49.000 It's who is using it and what they do with it, which is the more operative question.
00:26:55.000 And this person was so unbelievably dark and satanic and disturbed.
00:27:09.000 Obviously, it's just like a glaring mental health problem, but it's beyond that.
00:27:16.000 How do we identify those people?
00:27:18.000 How do we give them help?
00:27:19.000 Well, there was early indications that this individual was previewing his acts of violence.
00:27:28.000 I just want, if you're hearing my voice and you have a child that goes to school and they hear something from somebody that isn't quite right, intervention is necessary, getting people the help that they need and taking those things seriously.
00:27:42.000 Now, whether or not this person was under surveillance or was kind of on the list of local police or the FBI remains to be known.
00:27:54.000 I do not personally know.
00:27:56.000 I'm sure the information is out there.
00:27:57.000 We're going to find it how this individual got his weapons.
00:28:00.000 That's going to be a huge part of the discussion in the coming days and months to come.
00:28:07.000 Now, some of you are probably saying, Charlie, you know, this is a tragedy.
00:28:13.000 How much time are you going to focus on this?
00:28:15.000 Well, this is a purely defensive measure.
00:28:18.000 I want to be very clear, which is covering this from a human perspective is necessary.
00:28:28.000 But I'm going to read you some of the tweets and some of the quotes from leading Democrats, which forces our hand to get equally as political.
00:28:38.000 As begrudgingly as I have to do that, in a time of national tragedy, in a time that takes your breath away, where someone goes and locks themselves in a room and kills 19 fourth graders, then we're going to have to get back into the debate and we will win.
00:28:55.000 We will win the debate because facts are on our side and the moral argument to be able to defend yourself is on our side.
00:29:02.000 But instantaneously, Democrats did not even allow the bodies to be identified.
00:29:09.000 While the bodies are still not identified, they are swooping in to repeat their long-held aims and objectives for gun confiscation.
00:29:19.000 So then it forces a defensive countermeasure by those of us that love liberty.
00:29:24.000 And we say, okay, if you want to talk about gun crime, you want to talk about the need to defend yourself, then so be it.
00:29:30.000 We believe it's too soon to do that, but we are not going to allow tyrants and political operatives to try to capitalize on the suffering of a nation to be able to shred our Constitution.
00:29:50.000 Here we go.
00:29:50.000 We do it begrudgingly, but we're not going to lose.
00:29:52.000 We're going to win.
00:29:53.000 They forced the hand.
00:29:54.000 Barack Obama, Maxine Waters, Eric Swallow, Hillary Clinton, all of them with these incredibly vomit-inducing, morally sanctimonious, yes, if you only give us more political power to go take your guns away, these things wouldn't happen.
00:30:06.000 Okay.
00:30:07.000 So one of the talking points that Joe Biden has is this.
00:30:11.000 Play Cut 55.
00:30:12.000 I want you to listen to this.
00:30:13.000 It might sound good, but then I'm going to ask you a question right afterwards.
00:30:16.000 Play Cut 55.
00:30:18.000 The idea that an 18-year-old kid can walk into a gun store and buy two assault weapons is just wrong.
00:30:28.000 What in God's name do you need to solve it for except to kill someone?
00:30:33.000 Okay, Joe Biden.
00:30:34.000 So you think somebody's age, age 18, is it necessary to be trusted?
00:30:38.000 Then Joe Biden, what do you have to say for the hundreds of thousands of 18-year-olds that are now serving our country in our military?
00:30:44.000 If you represent us in our military, you shouldn't be able to own a weapon.
00:30:48.000 They're tied directly together.
00:30:50.000 So Joe Biden is now attacking 18-year-olds as not being mature enough.
00:30:53.000 Oh, really, Joe Biden?
00:30:54.000 Those are the very same 18-year-olds that you might want to send into a combat of war, a war theater in Ukraine.
00:30:59.000 How about the 18-year-olds that died for our country in Iraq and Afghanistan?
00:31:03.000 So Joe Biden is now trying to imply that 18-year-olds aren't sophisticated enough to be able to own weapons.
00:31:08.000 Really?
00:31:08.000 I could show you a picture of a lot of Marines that are definitely sophisticated enough to be able to own weapons.
00:31:13.000 It is a silly argument designed to go after the emotion.
00:31:17.000 And on its surface, at face value, our country is kept safe by 18-year-olds with guns in uniform.
00:31:23.000 But Joe Biden says, this is insane.
00:31:24.000 This is terrible.
00:31:26.000 And by the way, Joe Biden, you're welcome on my show anytime.
00:31:28.000 I think it's a low likelihood he'll accept.
00:31:30.000 What is an assault weapon?
00:31:32.000 What is an assault weapon?
00:31:33.000 It's a made-up term.
00:31:36.000 A knife can be an assault weapon.
00:31:37.000 A bat can be an assault weapon.
00:31:40.000 An assault weapon is not a technical term in the firearm industry.
00:31:44.000 So they say, oh, well, a AR-15 is an assault rifle.
00:31:49.000 No, it's not.
00:31:49.000 It stands for Armalite Rifle.
00:31:53.000 An assault weapon is a created category by gun grabbers to try to say that all weapons can be assault weapons.
00:32:02.000 So let me get this straight, Joe Biden.
00:32:04.000 18-year-olds can vote.
00:32:05.000 They vote for you.
00:32:06.000 You really want their vote, right, Joe Biden?
00:32:08.000 People of America vote for me.
00:32:10.000 They can drive.
00:32:11.000 They can serve in our military, but they're not allowed to buy weapons.
00:32:18.000 The Democrats want to lower the voting age to 16, yet they don't believe 18-year-olds can be trusted with weapons.
00:32:25.000 Now, if Joe Biden said, man, it's terrible that someone this demented and this terrible, that this just demonic was able to get their hands on weapons, like, okay, there's an argument against that.
00:32:41.000 How do you screen for it?
00:32:43.000 And this is why I'm totally against red flag laws, by the way.
00:32:46.000 Totally against them.
00:32:48.000 Because who is the government to enforce it?
00:32:51.000 How do they screen it?
00:32:52.000 How do they use it against potential veterans, be able to own guns?
00:32:57.000 But at least there would have been a little bit more understanding.
00:33:00.000 Instead, he just goes straight after the age.
00:33:02.000 Like, yeah, 18-year-olds, they're so dumb.
00:33:05.000 We can't trust them.
00:33:07.000 So if Joe Biden wants to raise the voting age to 21, if he wants, how about he wants to raise whether or not you could serve in our military?
00:33:15.000 So let me get this straight.
00:33:17.000 Joe Biden will happily take you to go serve in our armed forces with a gun, but you can't own a gun here domestically in our own country.
00:33:29.000 How about you ever been to Israel?
00:33:30.000 How about the IDF?
00:33:31.000 They certainly trust 18-year-olds with guns.
00:33:33.000 At every corner you turn in Israel, there's an 18-year-old with a gun, and they bring it everywhere.
00:33:39.000 Age has nothing to do with it.
00:33:41.000 Mental condition has a lot to do with it.
00:33:44.000 Maturity has a lot to do with it.
00:33:45.000 Sometimes age and maturity are directly connected.
00:33:47.000 Sometimes they're not.
00:33:49.000 But Joe Biden just so recklessly starts to play into the age thing, which, by the way, should be an insult to every veteran and every person that is 18, 19, 20 that wants to be a police officer.
00:33:59.000 Every person that's 18, 19, 20 that owns weapons and handles them correctly and professionally, that is an indictment to the hundreds of millions of people.
00:34:09.000 And by the way, you don't hear about these kinds of incidents in Israel because their citizens are armed.
00:34:13.000 If you've never been to Israel, it's one of the most remarkable things.
00:34:17.000 And this is what I always laugh with: these anti-gun Democrats who pretend to be pro-Israel.
00:34:21.000 Whether you go to Hebron or if you go to Gaza, but if you go to any part of Jerusalem, someone might be out on a date with somebody and they will have a weapon around their back on their shoulder ready to go.
