00:01:45.000 Breaking news.

00:01:47.000 There's so much breaking news.

00:01:48.000 Tulsi Gabbard confirmed as DNI director.

00:01:50.000 We've got Scott Besant going to Ukraine, who might join the program in the second hour, planned to, but that might change.

00:01:56.000 But major, massive breaking news.

00:01:59.000 Some of the best news that I personally have seen since President Donald Trump got sworn in three weeks ago.

00:02:05.000 President Donald Trump just posted on Truth Social, and we're going to go word for word for this, because it's so important that he just had a highly productive phone call.

00:02:14.000 With Vladimir Putin from Russia.

00:02:16.000 What we're about to read here is profound, substantive, and one of the most promising geopolitical developments since the Iraq War.

00:02:27.000 It is one of the most promising things that I have seen and that we are experiencing in the pursuit of peace, American dominance, in the pursuit of fiscal sanity, in the pursuit of lives no longer being needlessly and senselessly slaughtered.

00:02:42.000 So we're going to break this down.

00:02:43.000 Word for word, this is breaking news in just the last 10 minutes here on the Charlie Kirk Show.

00:02:48.000 Quote, this is President Trump writing about his phone call.

00:02:52.000 I just had a lengthy and highly productive phone call with President Vladimir Putin of Russia.

00:02:58.000 Now let me pause.

00:02:59.000 Joe Biden would not be dialoguing directly with Vladimir Putin.

00:03:02.000 He would go through back channels, if even that.

00:03:06.000 According to Tucker Carlson, and according to many other people who have visited Russia, the Russian government would claim, and they're...

00:03:12.000 Known to lie quite a lot.

00:03:14.000 That they did not have a good way to contact the American government.

00:03:18.000 We were not even talking to one another.

00:03:21.000 Let me continue.

00:03:22.000 President Trump writes, we discussed Ukraine, the Middle East, energy, artificial intelligence, the power of the dollar.

00:03:32.000 Let me pause.

00:03:32.000 President Donald Trump is bragging and forcefully putting forth an American dominance narrative right in Vladimir Putin's face.

00:03:41.000 You see, a lot of people are going to say, oh, Donald Trump bent the knee.

00:03:44.000 No, no, no, no.

00:03:45.000 He's saying, oh, we have the power of the dollar.

00:03:46.000 Why don't you use the dollar?

00:03:48.000 This BRICS thing, we're going to break it apart. 1.00

00:03:49.000 Donald Trump is showing American dominance right to Vladimir Putin's face.

00:03:54.000 Let me continue.

00:03:55.000 And various other subjects.

00:03:57.000 This is one of my favorite parts.

00:03:59.000 We both reflected on the great history of our nations.

00:04:04.000 And the fact we fought so successfully together in World War II. Remembering.

00:04:09.000 That Russia lost tens of millions of people, and we likewise lost so many.

00:04:15.000 The intel community and the consensus in Washington, D.C. is that you shall never say a good word about Russian history or culture.

00:04:24.000 Oh, it's just a gas station with nuclear weapons. 0.95

00:04:27.000 No, Russian culture and history is very deep, very complex, somewhat beautiful, somewhat dark. 0.98

00:04:33.000 Some of the greatest authors have come from Russia, some of the greatest composers, some of the greatest achievements.

00:04:38.000 Of humanity have come from Russia. 0.99

00:04:41.000 That's not a society that I would live in.

00:04:42.000 They don't respect freedom of speech or liberty the way we do, but they're the first man in space.

00:04:47.000 From Dostoyevsky to the great composers, Tetrotsky and so many others.

00:04:55.000 This is not a culture that we should scoff at.

00:04:58.000 This is not just a gas station with nuclear weapons.

00:05:01.000 They were once a world superpower, and they still have a sense of pride.

00:05:05.000 And yes, they stepped up and helped us defeat the Nazis.

00:05:10.000 Continues here.

00:05:11.000 We each talked about the strength of our respective nations and the great benefit that we will someday have in working together.

00:05:21.000 This is President Trump trying to offer, hey, why do we hate each other?

00:05:24.000 And by the way, you're welcome to email me, freedom at charliekirk.com.

00:05:27.000 Why do we hate Russia?

00:05:29.000 Why is Russia an enemy of the United States?

00:05:31.000 The cartels are an enemy in the United States.

00:05:34.000 They're killing my neighbors in Scottsdale.

00:05:36.000 The cartels are killing our fellow countrymen in Colorado, Ohio, every single day.

00:05:41.000 I'm not saying we have to be best friends with Russia, but why do we hate Russia?

00:05:46.000 Why do we hate them?

00:05:47.000 Oh, they said angry things?

00:05:49.000 They said mean things?

00:05:51.000 What fundamental interest of ours is endangered by Russia? 0.56

00:05:54.000 You can email me, freedom at charliekirk.com, and don't use abstractions.

00:05:58.000 Don't say, Putin's a bad man.

00:06:01.000 What danger does Russia pose to us, except that we are close to a nuclear war because the former State Department was insistent on fighting them?

00:06:12.000 A lot of countries do bad things.

00:06:14.000 We do bad things.

00:06:16.000 Our government has done bad things.

00:06:18.000 Why do we hate Russia?

00:06:20.000 No, seriously, make that argument.

00:06:21.000 Come to our campus tour and tell me why we should be at war against Russia, because we basically are.

00:06:26.000 We are at war with Russia via proxy.

00:06:29.000 We have been...

00:06:31.000 In a hot kinetic war against Russia.

00:06:33.000 And only thanks largely to Vladimir Putin's restraint do we not have missiles flying into America because American missiles are flying into Russia.

00:06:42.000 The whole Russian-Ukrainian project is largely built on, oh, Vladimir Putin wouldn't do that.

00:06:47.000 Well, I thought he's a madman that's going to march through Europe.

00:06:49.000 So which one is it? 0.92

00:06:50.000 Is that Vladimir Putin is going to march all through Europe tomorrow, like Adolf Hitler?

00:06:55.000 Or is it that, oh, don't worry, we can launch missiles into his hometown and do drone strikes in Moscow, but...

00:06:59.000 Vladimir Putin won't do that because he's smarter than that.

00:07:01.000 So which one is it exactly?

00:07:03.000 It's the Russian paradox. 0.84

00:07:06.000 But first, as we both agreed, we want to stop the millions of deaths taking place in the war in Russia, Ukraine.

00:07:16.000 Now, I don't know if it's been millions of deaths, but if you count famine, starvation, people that have been displaced, millions of lives have been irreversibly damaged, casualties.

00:07:28.000 At least a million.

00:07:29.000 So that's spot on.

00:07:32.000 President Putin even used my very strong campaign motto of common sense.

00:07:36.000 Now let me tell you how the media is going to do this.

00:07:37.000 I'm going to do the Rush Limbaugh right now.

00:07:39.000 The media is going to attack Donald Trump saying that Vladimir Putin flattered Trump and tried to play to his ego by using campaign motto and then Trump gave him the whole farm.

00:07:48.000 That's a bunch of nonsense.

00:07:50.000 Don't fall for that.

00:07:52.000 Instead, you have a dialogue.

00:07:54.000 Happening one-on-one, not intel agency to intel agency, not bureaucrat to bureaucrat, not administrative state to administrative state.

00:08:01.000 You have principle to principle.

00:08:03.000 You have leader to leader.

00:08:04.000 And by the way, if Vladimir Putin is using common sense, he's right.

00:08:09.000 There is no common sense for us to continue to supply American weaponry in Ukraine towards what aim and objective.

00:08:17.000 We both believe very strongly in it.

00:08:19.000 We agreed to work together very closely.

00:08:23.000 Oh, and here's the big news, everybody.

00:08:25.000 It's the big one.

00:08:26.000 You ready?

00:08:27.000 It's going to shake the very body politic of D.C. You can feel the trembling, the screaming, the rancor, the I can't believe they're going to do it.

00:08:38.000 Oh, and I love this.

00:08:39.000 This is my favorite part.

00:08:41.000 We both agreed to visit each other's nations.

00:08:46.000 That's right.

00:08:47.000 President Donald Trump is going to go to Russia.

00:08:49.000 You know who else went to Russia?

00:08:51.000 Ronald Reagan went to Russia.

00:08:52.000 So before you allow the media to propagandize you, Ronald Reagan visited Russia.

00:08:57.000 That's right.

00:08:58.000 Did you know that?

00:09:00.000 During all the Cold War antagonism, Ronald Reagan stepped up like a baller and visited Russia.

00:09:08.000 And yeah, Vladimir Putin should visit America.

00:09:11.000 I don't know if he'll get a warm welcome or not a warm welcome, but I want to hear him out.

00:09:15.000 I think Vladimir Putin should sit down for a long interview on The Charlie Kirk Show.

00:09:20.000 I think Vladimir Putin should sit down with a long interview with Joe Rogan.

00:09:23.000 I think Vladimir Putin should go to Austin, Texas and sit down with Joe Rogan and let's hear his side out.

00:09:30.000 I don't think he'll be into the marijuana stuff, but you never know.

00:09:34.000 Have a little back and forth.

00:09:35.000 Go on the Joe Rogan experience.

00:09:38.000 Come to our country. 1.00

00:09:39.000 We will treat Vladimir Putin respectfully.

00:09:41.000 Now, I'm not his biggest fan.

00:09:43.000 By the way, there's Ronald Reagan going to Russia.

00:09:45.000 So before all these apparatchiks on TV start screaming and catawalling about, oh, Trump's going to go to Russia, that's Ronald Reagan in the midst of the height of nuclear proliferation visiting Russia.

00:10:00.000 During all the catawalling that we're going to go towards a nuclear apocalypse, that's Ronald Reagan visiting Russia.

00:10:07.000 And I think Putin should come here, and he will be met with respect.

00:10:15.000 Your allegiance should always be to your homeland, to your country.

00:10:19.000 But just because the CIA tells you to hate Russia doesn't mean you need to hate Russia.

00:10:23.000 President Trump is thinking outside the box for you, the American citizen, to avoid a senseless nuclear war.

00:10:32.000 While we may have won this election, the fight to restore our great nation is only beginning.

00:10:37.000 Now is the time to take a stand, and Patriot Mobile is leading the charge.

00:11:30.000 This is Trump at his best.

00:11:34.000 It is 10 out of 10 Trump.

00:11:37.000 That's why we worked so hard to get him in office.

00:11:38.000 That's why you worked so hard to get him in office.

00:11:40.000 That's why all of you guys knocked on doors and chased ballots and came to our Commit 100 program.

00:11:46.000 Because we saw what Joe Biden and, not Joe Biden, the senior staff of Washington, D.C. were doing.

00:11:53.000 With this Russia conflict, they were barreling us blindly towards maybe a nuclear conflict, but definitely a hot war, which we were already funding, financing, heavily involved in.

00:12:04.000 And Trump is a true believer in making a deal.

00:12:06.000 Go to Russia?

00:12:07.000 Why not?

00:12:08.000 Why can't I do that?

00:12:09.000 Reagan did that. 0.96

00:12:09.000 Why can't I go to Russia? 0.96

00:12:10.000 Oh no, you can't do it.

00:12:11.000 Same reason he went to North Korea.

00:12:13.000 Go sit down with Vladimir Putin.

00:12:14.000 Strike a deal.

00:12:15.000 End the killing.

00:12:16.000 You see, but D.C. is full of below-average operator bureaucrats. 0.97

00:12:22.000 That are infected with the same disease.

00:12:27.000 It's not about peace.

00:12:29.000 It's about war.

00:12:30.000 It's not about prosperity.

00:12:31.000 It's about a quagmire.

00:12:33.000 President Trump continues.

00:12:35.000 We have also agreed to have our respective teams start negotiations immediately.

00:12:40.000 And we'll begin by calling Zelensky of Ukraine to inform him of the conversation.

00:12:45.000 Something I'll be doing right now.

00:12:47.000 By the way, I think this is all incredibly interesting timing.

00:12:52.000 JD is at the Munich Security Conference this weekend.

00:12:57.000 Oh, the shadow government in the deep state, they are not happy. 0.91

00:13:00.000 They want more people dead. 0.97

00:13:02.000 The shadow government's fine, a million people dead. 0.52

00:13:04.000 Let me be as morally clear as I possibly can.

00:13:08.000 Joe Biden rejecting peace deals that, by the way, would have been even better for Ukraine in 2022 than they are today in 2025. Which got over a million people killed.

00:13:21.000 Joe Biden will be responsible for one of the greatest crimes against humanity of this generation.

00:13:25.000 Probably up there with George W. Bush.

00:13:27.000 Completely senseless.

00:13:28.000 And Joe Biden and Tony Blinken and Kamala Harris and that entire cabal of criminals, they said, oh no, we can't broker peace.

00:13:37.000 But now the peace deal that is on the table...

00:13:40.000 It's far better for Russia than the one if they would have accepted that. 0.95

00:13:44.000 And we told them in Istanbul, you've got to take this deal.

00:13:47.000 Oh, no, no, no, can't do that because we can't bend a knee to Russia. 0.93

00:13:51.000 And these people are responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of women and children.

00:13:58.000 I've asked Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who's doing a great job, by the way.

00:14:01.000 Great job.

00:14:03.000 Marco Rubio, John Ratcliffe, Michael Walls, and more.

00:14:08.000 To lead negotiations, Steve Witkoff, I feel strongly we'll be successful.

00:14:12.000 Millions of people have died in a war that never would have happened if I was president, but it did happen, so it must end.

00:14:17.000 So no more lives should be lost.

00:14:19.000 I want to thank President Putin for his time and effort with respect to this call and for the release yesterday of Mark Fogle, a wonderful man that I personally greeted last night at the White House.

00:14:28.000 By the way, here's the front page of the Wall Street Journal, Mark Fogle.

00:14:31.000 Joe Biden didn't get him home.

00:14:32.000 Right there, kissing the ground when he comes into America. 0.96

00:14:36.000 And by the way, Zelensky says today that he hopes to finalize agreements with the United States at the Munich Security Conference that would ensure continued U.S. support for Ukraine as it fights Russia invasion.

00:14:45.000 I'm totally against.

00:14:46.000 No more money for Ukraine.

00:14:47.000 That's my stated position.

00:14:48.000 You're on your own, buddy.

00:14:51.000 End the war. 0.62

00:14:51.000 We're not going to have another Afghanistan here. 0.62

00:14:53.000 You're not coming into NATO. By the way, Pete Hegseth came out today and said, no NATO. But no guaranteed assurances for Vladimir Zelensky.

00:15:00.000 This guy is laundering money in every possible direction.

00:15:03.000 He's running guns, probably back to the Mexican drug cartels.

00:15:06.000 There's some evidence to suggest that.

00:15:09.000 He's an intel op.

00:15:10.000 He's an intel op.

00:15:11.000 He wants war.

00:15:12.000 I believe this effort will lead to a successful conclusion, and hopefully soon.

00:15:19.000 This all comes down to a fundamental question.

00:15:22.000 What do we want with Ukraine and Russia? 0.96

00:15:25.000 When war broke out, we were so clear on this program.

00:15:28.000 We were so clear that this is not going to end well.

00:15:33.000 We asked the right questions, and unfortunately, a million people had to die to get us to the place here.

00:15:39.000 Our long-term interest is clearly that we should be allies with Russia.

00:15:44.000 Clearly.

00:15:44.000 For our first 150 years, we were.

00:15:46.000 And again, I want somebody to tell me, anyone in the intel operation, come up to me, please tell me, lawmaker, whatever, why do we hate Russia?

00:15:55.000 Don't tell me because the CIA put you in some skiff and scared you with a bunch of woo-woo voodoo. 1.00

00:16:02.000 Russia was an ally in the Revolution.

00:16:04.000 It was an ally in the Civil War.

00:16:07.000 And yes, of course, they had the 1917 Revolution, both in February and October of that year, that Vladimir Lenin led and changed that country profoundly.

00:16:14.000 But when chips were down, we decided to ally with Russia against the Axis.

00:16:21.000 We went into a Cold War, and then we won the Cold War, and we even said in a gesture, we want them in NATO. And then our intel agency said no.

00:16:32.000 They wanted to be involved in NATO. This is President Trump at his best.

00:16:37.000 The peace president.

00:16:40.000 Hey everybody, Charlie Kirk here.

00:16:42.000 Brand new year, brand new opportunities to change the world for the better.

00:16:45.000 It's easier than you might think.

00:16:46.000 You can save babies by providing ultrasounds with pre-born.

00:16:50.000 Together with the Sanctity of Human Life Month, we're going to save 35,000 babies to show the world that not only do we believe life is precious, but we're going to do something about it.

00:16:59.000 Your gift to pre-born will give a girl the truth of what's happening in her body so that she can make the right choice.

00:17:04.000 What better way to start this new year than to join us to save babies?

00:17:09.000 And $28 a month will save a baby a month all year long.

00:17:12.000 A $15,000 gift will provide a complete ultrasound machine that will save thousands of babies for years and years to come.

00:17:42.000 Joining us now is Senator Mark Wayne Mullen from the great state of Oklahoma.

00:17:47.000 Senator, great to see you.

00:17:48.000 Congratulations.

00:17:48.000 Your friend Tulsi Gabbard is now the Director of National Intelligence.

00:17:53.000 How did that happen?

00:17:54.000 Big, big win.

00:17:55.000 It was a huge win.

00:17:57.000 Huge win.

00:17:58.000 In fact, she just texted me right now with a heart.

00:18:00.000 And so we're super excited for her.

00:18:04.000 I will tell you, Tulsi came up here and fought for every single yes vote.

00:18:08.000 It's shameful that the Democrat Party, to which she was part of for so long, that's all about inclusion and diversity, right?

00:18:15.000 Didn't care what she had to say, and then they came out and slammed her when she was running for this, because you and I both know that if she was nominated by Biden, she would have been, she would have sailed through and the Democrats would have loved her.

00:18:26.000 But that's not what it's about up here.

00:18:29.000 Tulsi's going to be... 0.91

00:18:30.000 Excellent.

00:18:31.000 You know, a lot of people, they, and Gerald, I know you know the history of it, and your listeners know the history of it, but DNI doesn't gather any intelligence.

00:18:42.000 You know, they were created after 9-11 to make sure that there was all the other 18 agencies that we gather intelligence from was actually sharing the information, and we could present the best information to the President of the United States.

00:18:54.000 And Tulsi will be able to do that in an unredacted form because underneath Director Hines, who is the director underneath the Biden administration, she just redacted everything. 0.82

00:19:04.000 And Congress never got the information.

00:19:06.000 And who knows who was getting it in the White House?

00:19:08.000 I'm completely excited and ecstatic about what Tulsi is going to do with the intelligent agencies.

00:19:14.000 It's so overdue.

00:19:16.000 Yeah.

00:19:17.000 And so then today is also Bobby.

00:19:18.000 Is that right?

00:19:19.000 I mean, you've been doing these great social media videos that have kind of keeping me on pace.

00:19:23.000 So is Bobby coming up today or tomorrow?

00:19:25.000 Yeah, so we already invoked a cloture on Bobby.

00:19:28.000 We think we can possibly strike a deal to have Bobby confirmed late tonight.

00:19:34.000 Even though we voted on Tulsi at 11 o'clock today.

00:19:39.000 Eastern Time.

00:19:41.000 The issue that we had was they didn't want to come in at 1230 because the clock on her actually ran out at 1233. So at 1 a.m., we started the 30-hour count on Bobby.

00:19:52.000 So that 30 hours at that point will run out at 7 a.m.

00:19:59.000 tomorrow morning.

00:20:00.000 We're going to vote on him at 7 a.m.

00:20:03.000 or they're going to let us vote on him this evening so we can start the clock immediately then.

00:20:09.000 I believe the next one will be up.

00:20:14.000 I think Kelly will be the next one up. 1.00

00:20:17.000 And then that 30 hours will start.

00:20:19.000 What we're really discussing here, Charlie, I'll just kind of give you some inside baseball, is there's 12 Democrats that are wanting to leave to go to Munich Thursday night.

00:20:28.000 Because they're wanting to go to that climate ordeal or whatever it is that's going on over there.

00:20:32.000 The swanky thing in Munich, that's right.

00:20:34.000 Yeah, the swanky thing that I'm not going to.

00:20:37.000 Good for you.

00:20:37.000 There's a real discussion that we've been having with Thune about saying that we've got to clear all these noms.

00:20:47.000 We have five up.

00:20:48.000 We have Howard, or this week, we have Howard, Brooke, and Kelly left, and to clear all of them before they leave on Thursday.

00:20:55.000 I think we should do it.

00:20:57.000 I think we should hold that trip hostage to all Democrats without saying go, but we have to get sign-off on to do that, too.

00:21:05.000 We've got the director of office management and budget.

00:21:13.000 It has to sign off on it, too.

00:21:15.000 And so we have to work with the White House to make sure we can get that done.

00:21:21.000 But Thune's all for it. 0.93

00:21:22.000 If it's possible to do it, Thune's all for it saying, if you want to go, release Howard, Kelly, and Brooke, and we'll move forward with it.

00:21:30.000 I mean, I don't think this is a close call, Senator.

00:21:32.000 I mean, you and I agree.

00:21:33.000 I mean, they want to go wine and dine with the European elites and oligarchs on taxpayer money.

00:21:39.000 We're not going to put up with these kind of holds.

00:21:41.000 We're not going to do this.

00:21:42.000 I know that the Senate is a very, you know, collegial, we're going to look out for you.

00:21:46.000 But come on, this is, I think that's a little outrageous.

00:21:50.000 You want to go party in Munich, give us our nominees.

00:21:53.000 Yeah, but like I said, Thune can't do it on his own.

00:21:58.000 It takes a little bit of collaboration from the White House, too, to do this, and so it really depends on if they want to fight on this that much, because at the end of the day...

00:22:07.000 The president can ground the planes.

00:22:10.000 He did this to Pelosi.

00:22:11.000 Remember when we were in a shutdown in President Trump's first term, Pelosi was leaving on this huge Codell, and on their way to Andrews Air Force Base, the president canceled their trip and said, you can't go.

00:22:25.000 So the president ultimately is the one that has to close it.

00:22:28.000 So the real thing is, does he want to fight on this one and cause that kind of problem moving forward?

00:22:33.000 There's a lot of politics behind it, but I'm saying yes.

00:22:36.000 I say yes.

00:22:36.000 Yes, pull it.

00:22:37.000 Let's do it.

00:22:38.000 Let's get all of them done.

00:22:40.000 I totally agree.

00:22:42.000 By the way, they're going to say, oh, it's national security.

00:22:44.000 Look, it's not national security.

00:22:45.000 Okay, we've got the vice president in Munich.

00:22:47.000 We've got Besant in Ukraine.

00:22:48.000 We've got all of our best guys all over Europe negotiating.

00:22:51.000 We don't need another 12 Democrat senators. 0.96

00:22:54.000 A bunch of senators flying in isn't going to change one thing, Charlie.

00:22:58.000 Not one thing.

00:22:59.000 No, it's actually refreshing to hear a senator say that.

00:23:01.000 So let me now ask about the federal judges.

00:23:05.000 These judges are completely out of control.

00:23:07.000 There was some breaking news.

00:23:07.000 is a federal judge has ruled, thankfully, actually one of the good decisions, finally, that President Trump does in fact have constitutional authority to freeze or limit certain funding.

00:23:17.000 This means the Trump White House can now withhold funding without the district court's prior approval.

00:23:22.000 But there are other injunctions that are happening in the most radical senses, especially out of New York and those districts that are so outrageous.

00:23:31.000 Senator, I know this is a serious question, and so I don't mean to put you on the spot, But is there a threshold where impeachment of federal judges would be considered?

00:23:40.000 The threshold's real high on that, and then I don't really know how much room we have in the Senate to do this.

00:23:47.000 What I would like to see, and I propose this, and actually when I was in the House, is to have a board set up, either a board that is made up of just our Supreme Court justice, that when a district judge in this case is getting overruled on constitutional authority, then at so many times they get removed or get put on probation and then eventually...

00:24:10.000 We see this all the time, that judges are making decisions based on 100% political feelings.

00:24:16.000 And that's why our judges were supposed to be appointed, so they'd be above politics.

00:24:22.000 But we find Republicans and Democrats, we judge shop all the time to try to find a judge that's going to be favorable to us.

00:24:29.000 If it would just be simply based on constitutional authority, period, and not your opinion or your political opinion, then we'd be fine with that.

00:24:36.000 But there's got to be some accountability that's brought to these judges that are appointed to a lifetime bench, because otherwise we're going to continue and it's going to just get worse.

00:24:44.000 So Congress is going to have to take a hard look at this.

00:24:47.000 The White House is going to take a hard look at this.

00:24:49.000 This should be honestly bipartisan.

00:24:51.000 If we try to do it on a partisan basis, we'll be opening a whole can of worms.

00:24:56.000 If we do this on a bipartisan basis and actually build a hold accountable, hold these judges accountable, much like our constituents are supposed to hold us accountable, then I think you'll see a lot more clarity happen in the courts.

00:25:08.000 Government justice is supposed to be really for the people.

00:25:10.000 I mean, the House is for the people.

00:25:13.000 Congress is for the people, but the courts are what holds the executive branch and the legislative branch accountable for the people.

00:25:23.000 Because it's supposed to interpret 100% our bill of rights and our constitution.

00:25:27.000 And unfortunately, you're seeing political rulings come off the bench more often than you actually see constitutional rulings.

00:25:32.000 Well, and to reiterate that point, we saw this in Brazil, and to a lesser extent in Israel, where a weaponized judiciary basically runs the entire country.

00:25:40.000 And the sovereign aren't there, and you kind of have a philosopher king ruling class, a legal oligarchy that starts to set in.

00:25:49.000 And Brazil is the best example, Israel to a lesser extent. 0.99

00:25:53.000 And so can you explain more of what your idea is, just so I understand it, of how we could prevent that?

00:25:58.000 What our ideal is, is so you use this judge that just got overruled, and you say, okay, well, this is strike one.

00:26:06.000 You just got overruled, constitutionally speaking, so you didn't interpret it correctly.

00:26:10.000 Give us your findings.

00:26:12.000 What made you decide to do this?

00:26:13.000 Have a higher court actually go over his findings and say, this is how I made the decision.

00:26:18.000 This was the opinions I came up with, and this is the opinions I based it on, either previous case law or constitutional purposes.

00:26:26.000 And if he can't explain that, how he came up with that, and it actually made sense, then he gets brought up to a higher court to say, do you get put on probation?

00:26:34.000 Strike one, strike two, or strike three before you get on probation.

00:26:36.000 If you continue down that road, then you're going to be put in.

00:26:39.000 And what I mean by probation, at that point, you'll have another court overlooking your decisions, and you're going to have to explain those decisions prior to them being made.

00:26:47.000 That's what probation would look like.

00:26:49.000 If you continue down that road, once you get on probation, then you'll be removed from the bench.

00:26:53.000 So it's the same thing as impeaching them, but it's not the impeachment has been used for political power now.

00:26:59.000 This would be the courts holding the courts accountable.

00:27:01.000 So judges holding judges accountable, much like lawyers with the Bar Association holds lawyers accountable.

00:27:06.000 Well, and just to reiterate the point, we have more than 200 district court judges.

00:27:12.000 It's not sustainable to our republic for every random district judge to think their gavel gives them the power to veto over a presidency.

00:27:21.000 That's right.

00:27:21.000 The President of the United States.

00:27:23.000 The bill to override the President of the United States, a district judge, can uphold that hearing.

00:27:28.000 That should be stopped itself.

00:27:30.000 So what level does that need to be heard at?

00:27:34.000 Is it the Supreme Court that needs to be taking up these decisions?

00:27:37.000 The problem with you having a Supreme Court decision, then there's no court to go over them.

00:27:43.000 So there is a balance that has to be made.

00:27:45.000 Honestly, I haven't even put a lot of thought in that one.

00:27:47.000 So, President Trump's team is moving at a rapid pace.

00:27:51.000 As I mentioned, the Secretary of the Treasury, Scott Besant, is in Ukraine.

00:27:56.000 President Trump had a favorable and promising phone call with Putin this morning.

00:28:00.000 But a minute and a half, Senator, your thoughts on the developing diplomacy happening between Russia, Ukraine, Israel, Gaza?

00:28:08.000 I mean, we've got a lot going on here.

00:28:09.000 Help me understand it.

00:28:11.000 You know, the greatest president we had seen in our lifetime, Charlie, while I put myself in your category, I really don't know how old you are, but it was Ronald Reagan.

00:28:18.000 And he believed in peace through strength.

00:28:20.000 And he was able to bring down the USSR by being friends with Gorbachev and brought down the wall, right?

00:28:27.000 What you see with President Trump is he's not necessarily being friends with Putin, but he's keeping a relationship and a dialogue with him, and he believes in peace through strength, and he's willing to use strength if peace doesn't work.

00:28:41.000 Biden was never in this position to be able to do it because there was no respect for Biden.

00:28:46.000 There was no respect for him because he was trying to use appeasement through strength and appeasement through diplomacy.

00:28:52.000 It doesn't work that way.

00:28:54.000 And so President Trump...

00:28:56.000 Trump, by being able to talk directly to Putin, will be able to bring an end to the war because he'll also be able to say, listen, Zelensky, you're going to have to compromise somewhere in this.

00:29:05.000 The war's not going great for you.

00:29:07.000 We're not going to continue to fund this.

00:29:08.000 There's been a lot of questions about it.

00:29:12.000 Crimea isn't going to be part of Ukraine much any longer.

00:29:16.000 I'm not saying that's part of it, but I believe there's a compromise and negotiation to end the killing over there, and that's what President Trump wants to do is end the killing, and Putin isn't in a good position because he knows he has a new sheriff in the White House, and it's called President Trump.

00:29:29.000 Senator, keep up the great work.

00:29:30.000 Thank you, as always, and do what you can to make sure that a vacation in Munich doesn't get in the way of our cabinet.

00:29:37.000 Thank you, Senator.

00:29:38.000 Absolutely.

00:29:39.000 Thanks, Charlie.

00:30:44.000 I want to take a step back, and I just want you to see what's happening.

00:30:48.000 You have four, maybe five people, all of which...

00:30:52.000 Immediately would be a far better president than anything Joe Biden and Kamala Harris is.

00:30:56.000 And this kind of team of all-stars does not come together very often.

00:31:01.000 What President Trump has selected and assembled is remarkable.

00:31:05.000 You've got J.D. Vance giving a 10 out of 10 speech of the AI summit in Paris, France.

00:31:10.000 10 out of 10 J.D. Vance speech in Paris, France.

00:31:13.000 And then he's going to the Munich Security Conference.

00:31:16.000 You've got Scott Bessent, who is going to Ukraine to help negotiate an end to all the killing.

00:31:22.000 And then you have Marco Rubio, front lines negotiating the release of hostages, as we have here on the front page of the Wall Street Journal.

00:31:33.000 Also, Marco Rubio solving all this Guatemalan, El Salvadorian, Honduran nonsense. 1.00

00:31:41.000 Getting all those countries in order and in place, like Colombia and many others.

00:31:46.000 And then...

00:31:48.000 On top of that, you've got Kristi Noem laying down the hammer with Tom Homan against the illegal invasion. 0.98

00:31:54.000 Do you know what's not getting a lot of headlines?

00:31:56.000 And do you know this is the brilliance of Elon Musk and President Trump?

00:32:00.000 Do you notice they're attacking Elon more than President Trump?

00:32:04.000 It's almost like a media diversionary tactic.

00:32:09.000 And just so we're clear, there is plenty of precedent for what Elon Musk is doing as well.

00:32:14.000 From Harry Hopkins.

00:32:16.000 To Bernard Baruch, who basically was an outside Elon Musk industrialist who came and ran the industrial capacity during World War II. But you have this entire team of rock stars.

00:32:32.000 Elon, Besant, J.D. Vance, Marco Rubio, Kristi Noem, and then, on top of it, Pete Hegseth.

00:32:41.000 Pete Hegseth.

00:32:42.000 Do you know what Pete Hegseth was doing yesterday morning?

00:32:45.000 Pete Hegseth woke up at the crack of dawn.

00:32:48.000 0500, as they say in the military world.

00:32:51.000 And did PT with our nation's most chiseled warriors.

00:32:59.000 That's right, Pete Hegseth was up at 0500. Doing weights in a parking lot.

00:33:06.000 Running PT. By the way, this leadership team is all people.

00:33:13.000 They don't care what's said about them.

00:33:15.000 Can we get the compare and contrast of Pete Hegseth and Lloyd Austin?

00:33:19.000 Do we have the video, by the way, of him doing the workout?

00:33:22.000 Of Pete Hegseth doing a workout alongside our troops?

00:33:25.000 You have Lloyd Austin, who could not even walk up the stairs without losing his breath.

00:33:30.000 You've got Mark Milley, who is at least 100 pounds overweight.

00:33:34.000 And then you've got Pete Hegseth winning the morale of the troops.

00:33:38.000 Imagine if you are an enlisted Marine in Germany.

00:33:43.000 Imagine if you are a Marine in Germany, and all of a sudden, the Secretary of Defense shows up to start lifting weights with you.

00:33:53.000 And it wasn't just weights.

00:33:54.000 He did the whole regiment routine.

00:33:56.000 That's your Secretary of Defense.

00:33:58.000 And meanwhile, you had Lloyd Austin, who's a joke and an insult to all of our senses, who had to be hospitalized secretly and privately.

00:34:06.000 You got Hegseth running miles in the morning.

00:34:09.000 Meanwhile, you got Marco Rubio saying, nope, no more invasion from Nicaragua.

00:34:14.000 This is a team of rock stars, the Avengers squad.

00:34:16.000 And then you got Tulsi Gabbard to DNI. They can't even focus their fire on one of these people.

00:34:24.000 And there it is, Pete Hegseth right there.

00:34:26.000 He did the full workout with our best and brightest.

00:34:30.000 You think Lloyd Austin could do that?

00:34:31.000 I don't think Lloyd Austin could shake that many hands without having to capsize over.

00:34:34.000 That guy needed a wheelchair for half of his tenure.

00:34:36.000 Look at these.

00:34:37.000 Pete Hegseth lifting the weights, doing the work.

00:34:40.000 The media couldn't even find a way to mock this.

00:34:42.000 Go to the next image.

00:34:43.000 Hegseth running right there in the morning.

00:34:45.000 That guy's like a Hulk.

00:34:48.000 He did the whole program.

00:34:51.000 And he'll continue to do that.

00:34:53.000 That's how you win over the rank and file. 0.81

00:34:57.000 And now this is becoming like legend amongst the military.

00:35:02.000 The guys in the military can't stop talking about this.

00:35:04.000 They're just blowing me up.

00:35:05.000 They're blowing people up.

00:35:06.000 Guys, I know this is the coolest thing ever. 0.87

00:35:08.000 We have the most insane person in the military.
