00:00:00.000 Hey, everybody, today on the Charlie Kirk show.
00:00:01.000 Is our homeland under attack?
00:00:02.000 Is it aliens?
00:00:03.000 Is it the Chinese?
00:00:04.000 Something's not right.
00:00:05.000 Or is it a false flag operation from our government?
00:00:07.000 We entertain all of these theories and more.

00:00:47.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:00:55.000 That's why we are here.
00:00:58.000 Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandTodd.com.
00:01:07.000 Is the homeland under attack?
00:01:09.000 Are we being invaded by the Chinese or somebody else or something else?
00:01:15.000 Something is not right.
00:01:17.000 In the last couple of days, we have seen UFOs unidentified flying object after unidentified flying object enter our space or Canadian airspace that has required us to shoot it down.
00:01:28.000 On Friday, Biden ordered the Air Force to shoot down a balloon with a car-sized payload after it violated airspace in Alaska up in the Arctic Circle.
00:01:38.000 According to the Pentagon, that's the Pentagon, not the octagon.
00:01:42.000 Remember, it's important.
00:01:43.000 The UFO, quote, does not resemble in any way the Chinese surveillance balloon shot down off the coast of South Carolina.
00:01:51.000 That plus the location might suggest that it's from Russia or it's a completely different country or other countries that have this technology.
00:01:58.000 Not very many countries do.
00:02:02.000 Then over the weekend, the U.S. tracked another balloon into Canadian airspace and shot that one down as well.
00:02:08.000 According to the Canadian Defense Minister, this balloon resembled the Chinese balloon from last week, but it was a lot smaller.
00:02:15.000 Then on Saturday, NORAD shot down some airspace, something down in airspace in Montana, and sent fighter jets to investigate another radar anomaly.
00:02:26.000 But this time, they didn't find anything.
00:02:28.000 Nope.
00:02:28.000 False alarm.
00:02:28.000 Instead, we lost track of the object, which then flew over Wisconsin and Michigan before we finally found it and shot it down over Lake Huron, one of the five great lakes here in Ontario, Michigan, Erie, and Superior.
00:02:41.000 What is going on?
00:02:42.000 Well, there are a few possible answers.
00:02:44.000 Here are one of them: China and perhaps other foreign rivals are testing the Biden regime's ability to police and defend our own airspace.
00:02:55.000 Is this an invasion, a surveillance operation?
00:02:57.000 Is this a trolling project on behalf of the Chinese Communist Party where they're just kind of getting a thrill with coming into our airspace to see how fast we can react?
00:03:08.000 Another possible answer, and maybe a more disturbing one, is that these Incursions happen a lot more than we realize.
00:03:15.000 A quote from the Washington Post citing an unnamed federal official says, quote, the official speaking on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the issue said the sensory equipment absorbs a lot of the raw data and filters are so are used so humans and machines can make sense of what is collected.
00:03:34.000 But that process always runs the risk of leaving out something important.
00:03:38.000 We basically opened the filters, the official said, much like a car buyer unchecking boxes on a website to broaden the parameters of what can be searched.
00:03:48.000 Now, if this is accurate, then what is going on is the government has been allowing spy balloons and other UFOs just to run rampant across the United States.
00:03:58.000 And when they suddenly got embarrassed last week by the huge Chinese balloon that was mistakenly identified by the great patriots in the state of Montana, they decided to take a tough look by shooting it down once it was over the ocean.
00:04:14.000 And maybe this happens more than we ever realized.
00:04:17.000 Maybe our sovereignty doesn't mean anything.
00:04:19.000 We know that principle is true, by the way, by how our southern border is treated.
00:04:23.000 We know that sovereignty is not a value of this current government.
00:04:29.000 Of course not.
00:04:30.000 We allow thousands and thousands and thousands of illegals to come right into our country every single day.
00:04:35.000 So then why would allowing balloons or propulsion devices, why would that bother us?
00:04:42.000 Sovereignty is an illusion.
00:04:44.000 It's an abstraction to this government.
00:04:47.000 Now I want to play a couple pieces of tape here, but the story gets weirder because it'd be one thing if it was, again, just random reconnaissance balloons.
00:04:56.000 But there's a lot of details here that demand answers.
00:05:00.000 And the way the media is handling this and covering this is so bizarre.
00:05:05.000 The way the media is handling this reminds me of COVID, where they just read the exact press release from the government and they move on.
00:05:14.000 And it's so obvious that there is more to the story.
00:05:18.000 It's standing out in front of you.
00:05:20.000 And they're almost sheepishly afraid because do they actually want the truth?
00:05:26.000 Well, let's play a couple pieces of tape here.
00:05:29.000 So first, let's go to the one over Alaska, which doesn't seem to be too concerning, but then we'll lead into something that is puzzling, to say the least.
00:05:42.000 Now, I'm just a layman when it comes to military aviation technology, but when I hear certain details, I do have a variety of questions that I think Americans deserve answers to.
00:05:54.000 Let's start with cut three.
00:05:55.000 Yeah, not even the pilots apparently were really able to identify what they saw.
00:05:59.000 Those pilots, we have learned, have given very conflicting accounts of what they actually experienced, with some pilots saying that the object interfered with the plane sensors, other pilots saying that they didn't really experience that.
00:06:10.000 Other pilots saying that when they looked at the object, they could identify no identifiable propulsion system and they did not know how it was actually staying in the air, cruising at that altitude of about 40,000 feet.
00:06:22.000 So this has all added to the Pentagon's wariness of describing in more detail what this object actually is until they can get more information through the debris that they are recovering right now.
00:06:34.000 Okay, so then that incident happens in Alaska.
00:06:38.000 And then the one that kind of got buried by all the Super Bowl news as people were worried about the commercials and the game.
00:06:47.000 Again, I watched the game, I enjoyed it, but I was more interested in what happened in Lake Huron than whether or not the refs made the right call in the end of the game with the Eagles and the Chiefs.
00:07:00.000 By the way, they did not make the right call.
00:07:01.000 I say that as someone who actually wanted the Eagles to lose.
00:07:03.000 Objectively, bad call.
00:07:05.000 You should not determine a Super Bowl based on a rather ticky tack, subjective holding penalty.
00:07:11.000 I don't like it.
00:07:12.000 Let the guys play.
00:07:14.000 But this is a more interesting story.
00:07:17.000 The F-16 fighter jets shot down the unknown object and it had an octagon shape.
00:07:26.000 What?
00:07:27.000 And I just, I love some of the people on Twitter that no matter what, they'll never allow themselves to entertain anything except, of course, it's an octagon.
00:07:35.000 I mean, come on, just go.
00:07:36.000 Obviously, it makes perfect sense.
00:07:38.000 Octagons are flying around all the time.
00:07:40.000 They are.
00:07:41.000 That's not something I've seen.
00:07:43.000 I mean, I've heard it theoretically that potentially there could be propulsion devices, but when I go to Sky Harbor, I don't see objects that are octagonal.
00:07:59.000 So let's play Cut 6.
00:08:02.000 Traveling at an altitude of 20,000 feet, no discernible payload, octagonal object with strings hanging from it.
00:08:08.000 Play cut six.
00:08:10.000 Drew a U.S. F-16 fighter jet fired a single Sidewinder missile at 2.42 p.m. Sunday, dropping the unknown object into Michigan's Lake Huron.
00:08:20.000 So far, at least, there's no explanation from the military of what exactly this object was, other than a description that officials provided of an octagonal object with strings hanging from it, but with, they said, no discernible payload.
00:08:35.000 It's not clear where these latest three objects came from, who sent them, or what their intent was.
00:08:41.000 But it does seem clear that the White House will now be under a lot of pressure to provide some answers as the week goes on, Andrew.
00:08:48.000 So we've got octagons over Lake Huron in our sovereign homeland.
00:08:55.000 Now, there are propulsion devices, including, quote, spin polarization and spin transport in quark glucon plasma or gluon plasma or ion thrusters.
00:09:04.000 And a lot of it is theoretical physics, or is it?
00:09:07.000 Look, there are rabbit holes here that go very, very deep.
00:09:09.000 We know that a lot of this technology we see deployed by our military was technology developed in the early 1980s.
00:09:16.000 So what has been developed then that we don't know about?
00:09:20.000 And what has China developed?
00:09:23.000 Or is it not China?
00:09:25.000 But then who else could it be?
00:09:27.000 Well, it's not Ukraine.
00:09:28.000 So who is it?
00:09:32.000 I want to talk about relieffactor.com.
00:09:34.000 I want you guys to check out relieffactor.com, 100% drug-free, knee pain, back pain, joint pain, elbow pain.
00:09:39.000 Check out Relief Factor Energy.

00:09:48.000 Relief Factor Sleep could be the best solution for you.
00:09:50.000 Everybody goes to bed.
00:09:51.000 Not everybody sleeps.
00:09:53.000 We're all about helping people live lives that are filled with connection, exploration, passion, and emotion.
00:09:58.000 That is what life is all about.
00:10:00.000 Make sure you guys are sleeping well.
00:10:01.000 It's a major part of life.
00:10:03.000 Check it out right now, relieffactor.com, relieffactor.com.
00:10:09.000 Who's behind these unidentified flying objects that are over our airspace?
00:10:17.000 Now, some people say, well, Charlie, this is all a distraction.
00:10:19.000 You might be.
00:10:20.000 You might be right.
00:10:21.000 But I am pretty curious, and I'd like an answer to what is an octagon and can fly at 20,000 feet?
00:10:28.000 Is that now widespread technology?
00:10:30.000 Do other countries have that technology?
00:10:32.000 Do we have that technology?
00:10:34.000 Look, in a private conversation with somebody from the Air Force, we learned, our show learned.
00:10:41.000 And this is a quote that he says, look, I can't just quote, discuss all this, but the technology that we, the American government, the federal government, have is out of this world stuff.
00:10:51.000 You wouldn't believe it if I told you.
00:10:52.000 I've heard this from multiple people in the Department of Defense and at the top levels of our government, that there is technology the government has that would just completely and totally blow your mind.
00:11:03.000 And so some people immediately say, oh, come on, Charlie, it can't possibly be aliens.
00:11:09.000 I'm not saying it is.
00:11:09.000 I'm not saying that it's a guarantee, but I find it interesting to even ask the question that it could be extraterrestrial life or it could be China.
00:11:20.000 It's not as if our government is any stranger to allowing aliens into our country.
00:11:25.000 We do it every day.
00:11:26.000 3,000 illegal aliens come into our country every single day.
00:11:30.000 Or this whole thing could just be a ruse.
00:11:32.000 This whole thing could just be a black propaganda campaign.
00:11:35.000 It could be just a completely manufactured operation.
00:11:39.000 It could be our own aircraft that we are deploying.
00:11:42.000 For what reason, I don't know.
00:11:44.000 But we will probably learn throughout this entire process.
00:11:47.000 But the frequency of which there are now unidentified flying objects coming into our airspace should concern you.
00:11:57.000 And let's play this piece of tape here.
00:11:59.000 Ryan Zinke, who I trust, says, look, I don't think we're being invaded by Mars.
00:12:02.000 It's Chinese balloons.
00:12:04.000 Okay, but then why are they octagon shapes and they can move quickly laterally?
00:12:10.000 And they're at 20,000.
00:12:11.000 I just would love an answer to that.
00:12:12.000 No one seems to be saying that.
00:12:14.000 Play cut nine.
00:12:16.000 Well, I don't think we're being invaded by Mars.
00:12:18.000 It's just good to know.
00:12:21.000 It's the Chinese balloons.
00:12:22.000 And look, I think we need to be upfront.
00:12:25.000 The first balloon series, the administration was not telling the truth.
00:12:31.000 Nor was China, by the way.
00:12:32.000 China, remember, it was a civilian airship.
00:12:34.000 That's not true.
00:12:35.000 You know, our administration, we didn't down it because in fear of collateral damage, that wasn't true.
00:12:42.000 The idea that they were taking intelligence off it, and that's why we didn't shut it down.
00:12:46.000 That was not true.
00:12:48.000 So look, I think where we are is we got to enforce the Monroe Doctrine, target and destroy the balloons that are coming over.
00:12:55.000 And we know where they're made.
00:12:56.000 They're made in China.
00:12:57.000 So that's not beat around the bush.
00:13:00.000 This is a balloon warfare.
00:13:03.000 So Ryan Zinke seems convinced this is balloon warfare, but the story reporting that we're receiving seems to suggest something else.
00:13:11.000 And I am just curious, in the audience's estimation, do you completely discount aliens and extraterrestrials?
00:13:21.000 Now, the media is going to make fun that we even say this.
00:13:24.000 However, what's fascinating is if you go through the New York Times article, if you go through the New York Times today, which I did, what's fascinating is that the New York Times in a just kind of buried paragraph says the Biden administration is going to great lengths to alleviate concerns of people in government that this is not aliens, that this is not extraterrestrial, that this is not coming from other worlds.
00:13:52.000 And they might be right.
00:13:53.000 I'm not saying that it is.
00:13:54.000 Of course not.
00:13:55.000 I mean, it would be new.
00:13:57.000 That's for sure.
00:13:59.000 But it's even happening at a great frequency.
00:14:02.000 And the media is actually starting to dance around with it.
00:14:05.000 Play cut four.
00:14:06.000 Have you ruled out extraterrestrials?
00:14:09.000 And the general says, I haven't ruled anything out at this point.
00:14:12.000 Play cut four.
00:14:13.000 Because you still haven't been able to tell us what these things are that we are shooting out of the sky, that raises the question, have you ruled out aliens or extraterrestrials?
00:14:27.000 And if so, why?
00:14:28.000 Because that is what everyone is asking us right now.
00:14:33.000 Thanks for the question, Colleen.
00:14:34.000 I'll let the Intel community and the counterintelligence community figure that out.
00:14:39.000 I haven't ruled out anything at this point.
00:14:42.000 We continue to assess every threat or potential threat, unknown, that approaches North America with an attempt to identify it.
00:14:50.000 But should we even trust anything that the government is saying?
00:14:54.000 Could this all just be a false flag operation to fake an alien invasion or fake a UFO hysteria crisis to try to justify more power lockdowns control?
00:15:03.000 These are all rational questions.
00:15:06.000 But I do believe this.
00:15:09.000 I feel like I'm being lied to.

00:16:31.000 Yesterday morning, I was going for a walk, and the Super Bowl was in Phoenix, and I saw a bunch of guys wearing Eagles gears.
00:16:39.000 And again, I don't have strong opinions about the Eagles or the Chiefs, honestly.
00:16:42.000 It's don't really have a dog in the fight.
00:16:45.000 And so I said this non-sarcastically to this group of guys.
00:16:48.000 Maybe it came across sarcastic.
00:16:49.000 Hey, guys, good luck today.
00:16:51.000 And they stopped.
00:16:52.000 They said, we don't need it.
00:16:54.000 We're going to win.
00:16:54.000 I was like, what?
00:16:55.000 That's a very strange way to respond.
00:16:58.000 And unfortunately, that was a pattern of Eagle fans that I encountered in the Valley.
00:17:03.000 They were very, very convinced that they were going to win, and they didn't.
00:17:06.000 But, however, to the Eagles community, they definitely do have a rather strong argument that bad things do happen in Maricopa County when the referees don't do their job.
00:17:20.000 Okay, so let's just indulge me for a second.
00:17:23.000 I know a lot of you in the audience say, Charlie, why do you talk about football?
00:17:26.000 They're the worst than all this.
00:17:27.000 I love football.
00:17:28.000 I'm not going to apologize for it.
00:17:30.000 Yes, I know.
00:17:31.000 I have to tolerate their wokeism and all this stuff.
00:17:33.000 But the beauty of the sport of football is worth cringing and complaining during the micro-dosing of wokeism.
00:17:41.000 This is the Zapruder film.
00:17:42.000 I'm sorry, not the Zapruder film.
00:17:44.000 It is the end of the Chiefs game, the Chiefs Eagles game, which is now in Eagles folklore, going to be analyzed more than that of the Kennedy assassination.
00:17:55.000 Watch this objectively.
00:17:56.000 By the way, I did not want the Eagles to win.
00:17:58.000 The whole day I was bothered by the fact that the Eagles fans are, we don't need luck.
00:18:01.000 We're going to win.
00:18:02.000 Like, okay, pal.
00:18:03.000 And also, I really, I like Jalen Hurts and I like Patrick Mahomes.
00:18:06.000 But just look at this.
00:18:07.000 This is how a Super Bowl should be decided.
00:18:09.000 No, I liked the outcome.
00:18:11.000 And I'm telling you, this is an in.
00:18:13.000 This is a bad call.
00:18:15.000 It's bad for the sport.
00:18:17.000 It deteriorates trust in referees.
00:18:19.000 Let them play, especially last two minutes.
00:18:22.000 There should be an unspoken rule by NFL officials that you only throw a flag unless it is convincing.
00:18:31.000 You only should throw a flag unless it is a smoking gun.
00:18:36.000 And this is not.
00:18:37.000 Play Cut 16 and tell me this is how a Super Bowl should end.
00:18:41.000 Keep my mic on.
00:18:42.000 Watch this here.
00:18:43.000 Juju Smith Schuster.
00:18:45.000 Worst case scenario.
00:18:48.000 They're going to see it.
00:18:49.000 He really held right there.
00:18:51.000 That is not a flag.
00:18:53.000 In week two in the second quarter with 10 minutes left to go, let alone under two minutes, right?
00:19:03.000 I was after the two-minute warning.
00:19:05.000 And that was a third-down play.
00:19:06.000 He's got his left hand on his back.
00:19:08.000 I don't know.
00:19:09.000 I'm not mistaken.
00:19:10.000 Worst case scenario.
00:19:11.000 The threshold must be so high for you.
00:19:14.000 That left a bad taste in my mouth, even though I did like the outcome.
00:19:18.000 I just think it deteriorates the trust in the score.
00:19:22.000 What a forced field goal.
00:19:24.000 The Eagles would have gotten the ball back.
00:19:26.000 And to give Eagles credit, they actually tried to employ one of my great complaints in American history.
00:19:33.000 Which is why don't they let the other teams score under two minutes in the red zone if they're trying to set up for a field game?
00:19:39.000 Field goal.
00:19:40.000 And for the Eagles' credit, they actually tried to do that.
00:19:43.000 And the player almost fell for it.
00:19:45.000 It was strategic brilliance on behalf of the Eagles all the time.
00:19:48.000 I said, why don't they just let him score?
00:19:50.000 It will increase their likelihood to get the ball back.
00:19:53.000 And of course, the Chiefs player slid on the one-yard line.
00:19:55.000 So the Chiefs almost didn't fall for the bait, but the Eagles, to their credit, were strategically looking at it the right way.
00:20:01.000 Most NFL teams don't, most teams are like, oh, no, you must always hold the line.
00:20:05.000 And all this is actually the right way to do it.
00:20:07.000 Okay, enough of that.
00:20:08.000 So are we being invaded by aliens?
00:20:10.000 Let's get back to the real topic of today.
00:20:13.000 The consensus from many of you, and I tend to agree with it, is that I don't trust the government.
00:20:16.000 This seems to be half-truths and a psyop.
00:20:20.000 And you very well might be right.
00:20:21.000 But something is troubling about this entire thing.
00:20:24.000 If it is indeed China, which obviously is the rational and most likely explanation, why are they doing this?
00:20:30.000 Why are the Chinese doing this?
00:20:32.000 Let's say that this is all China.
00:20:33.000 This is the Chinese Communist Party.
00:20:34.000 Why is the CCP now doing this?
00:20:37.000 Are they pushing the lines and boundary?
00:20:39.000 Are these soft precursors to active war?
00:20:42.000 Let's play cut 13.
00:20:44.000 Is it a fair takeaway then that the Pentagon regrets not taking down the first balloon before it crossed the entire U.S.?
00:20:51.000 Well, I'm not going to speak for the Pentagon.
00:20:53.000 I can tell you that the president doesn't regret the way that we handled the first balloon.
00:20:58.000 Chuck Yushumer was asked about the balloon, play cut 10.
00:21:03.000 The first balloon, there was a much different rationale, which I think was the appropriate rationale.
00:21:09.000 We got enormous intelligence information from surveilling the balloon as it went over the United States and watching.
00:21:15.000 And the Chinese get enormous intelligence as well.
00:21:17.000 Well, they could have been getting it anyway, but we have to know what they're doing.
00:21:20.000 Okay, and we don't know exactly.
00:21:22.000 Yeah, well, we don't know what they're doing.
00:21:24.000 They might just be trying to get better pictures.
00:21:28.000 You know what it might be, actually?
00:21:29.000 The Chinese Communist Party, they're creating a national geographic Chinese equivalent, and they wanted the beautiful pictures of the American heartland.
00:21:40.000 We don't know what China, we know what China.
00:21:41.000 We, of course, know what China is doing.
00:21:43.000 And then John Kirby was asked, National Security Council's John Kirby, categorically denying that Beijing claims the United States has flown its own spy balloons over China.
00:21:54.000 That somehow we have done this over China.
00:21:56.000 Play cut seven.
00:21:57.000 Breaking news out of Beijing, just in the last hour or two, the foreign ministry there has accused the United States since the start of 2022 of flying balloons 10 different times over Chinese airspace.
00:22:11.000 Can you respond to that accusation?
00:22:14.000 Not true.
00:22:14.000 Not doing it.
00:22:15.000 Just absolutely not true.
00:22:17.000 So the U.S., let me just push you a little further then.
00:22:19.000 So the U.S. is not using these balloons technologies at all over China?
00:22:24.000 That is right.
00:22:24.000 We are not flying balloons over China.
00:22:27.000 That is absolutely true.
00:22:28.000 So there's only a couple rational explanations for all of this, but none of them should give you comfort as if we've got enough things to worry about here.
00:22:37.000 But I definitely want to build out the argument for a second that this could be the government trying to distract us.
00:22:47.000 Think about all the different things happening right now.
00:22:50.000 I'm not saying this is for sure what's happening, but this certainly is a compelling take.
00:22:56.000 All the different topics, a potentially crumbling economy, a wide open southern border, all the money that we're sending to Ukraine.
00:23:04.000 On February 2nd, the Chinese balloon was spotted.
00:23:07.000 February 4th, we shot it down.
00:23:09.000 February 3rd, a UFO was seen over Alaska.
00:23:11.000 February 11th, the UFO was shot over Canada.
00:23:14.000 February 12th, UFO appeared over Canada.
00:23:16.000 February 12th, UFO shot over Lake Huron.
00:23:19.000 Is it that the regime needs to continue to play offense in the propaganda war to try to have us not focus on the nuts and bolts of our own civilization?
00:23:30.000 This very well might be true because this story has now monopolized some of the chatter, but they're not even talking about it in an interesting way.
00:23:38.000 It's just so banal.
00:23:39.000 It's so surface level.
00:23:42.000 And then, is this another excuse to try to use the disinformation regime to go after anybody that might even speculate that there might be more to this story?
00:23:51.000 What is the real game at play here?
00:23:53.000 I don't think we're ever, I don't think we're, I don't think we're going to know what actually is happening in this situation for quite some time.
00:24:01.000 But what we do know is that the government has participated in one deceitful act of a false flag operation after another.
00:24:11.000 A lot of this is still mere speculation.
00:24:14.000 But this particular part of our government has a very long history of keeping things secret for a very, very long time, the military-industrial complex.
00:24:23.000 Now, this is another explanation, potentially, and this one is very simple, that we have been focused on foreign wars for so long that our ability to defend our homeland has weakened,
00:24:36.000 that we are not as sharp at being able to detect objects and deter them, and maybe that these objects have been happening for quite some time, and we've been so worried about colonizing Afghanistan and trying to bring democracy to Ukraine that we are not as well prepared, and China knows that, and they're exploiting it.
00:24:56.000 But what is China trying to get here?
00:24:58.000 If you were actually trying to take over America, then why would you do this in a way where then your very expensive equipment is shot down?
00:25:06.000 I mean, let's just say that a octagon-shaped propulsion machine flying at 20,000 feet that can move horizontally, that is at least a couple hundred million dollar piece of equipment.
00:25:18.000 At that minimum, and you're just going to float it over there so it can get shot down.
00:25:22.000 Why would you do that?
00:25:24.000 It seems highly irrational.
00:25:26.000 In the kind of category of this is something other than the Chinese, I'm not saying it's aliens, I'm saying it could be, it does not seem rational to send now cumulative, probably almost a billion dollars of equipment to the American homeland to allow it to be shot down so we could study and analyze it and then also heighten our own sense of awareness.
00:25:45.000 So then you got to ask the question, is it America doing this to itself and we blame it on our own, we blame it on our adversaries to get us closer to war with China?
00:25:54.000 Now, the government would never do anything like that, obviously.
00:25:58.000 That is beyond the pale.
00:26:00.000 The government would never do such a thing as that.
00:26:03.000 So we could totally trust them.
00:26:08.000 Really quick here.
00:26:09.000 I'm not saying I believe in aliens and all this, but I'm not discounting it.
00:26:12.000 Obviously, that would, I think, be irrational.
00:26:14.000 So C.S. Lewis said this, who is, in my opinion, I think almost everyone who has done the work would agree.
00:26:20.000 He is the most thoughtful Christian theologian of the 20th century, certainly one of the most effective.
00:26:27.000 If you read Mere Christianity, which was originally delivered as a series of radio addresses during the Blitz, I think you would agree.
00:26:33.000 But just really quick, he said, the supposed threat is clearly directed against the doctrine of the incarnation, the belief the God of God, for us men and for our salvation down from heaven, was made man.
00:26:44.000 Why for us men more than others?
00:26:46.000 We find ourselves to be out one among a many million races scattered throughout a million spheres.
00:26:50.000 How can we, without absurd arrogance, believe ourselves to have been uniquely favored?
00:26:54.000 I admit that the question could be formidable.
00:26:56.000 It might turn out that the redemption of other species differed from ours by working through ours.
00:27:02.000 There is a hint of something like this in St. Paul, Romans 8:19 through 23, when he says that the whole creation is longing and waiting to be delivered for some kind of slavery, and that the deliverance will occur only when we, we Christians, fully enter upon our sonship to God and exercise our glorious liberty.
00:27:20.000 That is from The World's Last Night, chapter six: Religion and Rocketry, C.S. Lewis on alien life.
00:27:25.000 He actually wrote about it for quite some time.
00:27:27.000 I'm not saying that's the case.
00:27:29.000 It just C.S. Lewis actually thought deeply about the topic and wrote about it.
00:27:33.000 Okay, but who benefits from this?
00:27:35.000 That is the question.
00:27:36.000 And the question of who would benefit from this, it's not really China.
00:27:41.000 And just putting out, you know, the highly improbable alien topic, is that our government actually stands to benefit the most from this.
00:27:51.000 Think about it.
00:27:52.000 Yeah, I mean, China could potentially benefit from surveillance, but this is not done in a way where a foreign adversary would just keep on sending very expensive spy balloon equipment, one after the other, after the other, after the other.
00:28:05.000 That doesn't really make sense.
00:28:08.000 First of all, they lose all of the investment.
00:28:10.000 We can get their technology, only heightens the resolve of the American domestic citizen to want to defend our homeland.
00:28:17.000 If China wants to lull us to sleep to take us over, this does the opposite.
00:28:20.000 This actually increases the anxiety and the tension and the intensity of the American citizen to think that we might be taken over.
00:28:28.000 This would only increase the amount of appetite for sanctions and for tariffs and to hold them accountable for COVID.
00:28:34.000 This would only make us more hostile to China.
00:28:36.000 So that doesn't necessarily seem rational.
00:28:39.000 I know that everybody in the government says, oh, it's China, China, China, but what China is evil.
00:28:43.000 They're modern-day Nazis, but are they dumb?
00:28:47.000 I don't think so.
00:28:50.000 And so, again, let me just reiterate: what is the benefit from China doing this?
00:28:56.000 The question is: what can China get from a balloon that they can't get from a satellite?
00:28:59.000 But is there really surveillance that is so urgent to the Chinese Communist Party that they're willing to risk diplomatic relations and turn the American citizenry against them?
00:29:11.000 Maybe.
00:29:13.000 But if we've learned anything about our government, the most rational answer to the question of who benefits is not the Chinese Communist Party, it's the military-industrial complex here.
00:29:29.000 Something that we learned from COVID is that the regime needs emergencies and a crisis after crisis.
00:29:35.000 They need a rolling crisis to maintain power.
00:29:37.000 I'm not saying our government did this.
00:29:41.000 But if you were to ask the question that is the most clarifying question to lead you to the truth, who benefits, qui bona, we ask that question all the time because there's so much noise.
00:29:52.000 You just need to say, in a world of incentives, when something unusual happens, when something irregular happens, it is rational to then take a step back and say, who would benefit most from doing this?
00:30:01.000 By the way, any private investigator and every private detector, detective will always ask that question first: what is the motive here?
00:30:09.000 Why would this person kill that person?
00:30:11.000 Why would this person do that?
00:30:12.000 And by the way, we asked this question with Nord Stream and we came to the truth because the truth now seems that we actually did this.
00:30:20.000 So you take a step back.
00:30:22.000 What are we as citizens doing about the fact that our government has lied about this repeatedly in the last couple of years?
00:30:34.000 Not just this, but other situations.
00:30:35.000 And so who benefits?
00:30:37.000 Who stands to benefit?
00:30:38.000 And I know this sounds contrary.
00:30:40.000 I'm obviously no fan of China.
00:30:43.000 I think they're an enemy and they should be classified as we should stop trading with them and all that.
00:30:47.000 I don't see any rational reason why China would do this.
00:30:51.000 I don't.
00:30:53.000 Except for the fact that they just want to put a throbbing middle finger in front of us and they just want to tell us that we're stronger than you, but still, that would make that awaken the American sleeping giant.
00:31:03.000 The entire geopolitical approach of China the last 40 years has been to lull America asleep, not tick us off.
00:31:12.000 Who benefits?
00:31:14.000 That is the question.
