The Charlie Kirk Show - What Happened to the Democrats?

Also, former Governor Rod Blagojevich talks about why we need to kick the Democratic Party out of America, and why Joe Biden is not a good enough choice for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination. And why the media should have been paying attention to what was going on at the Democratic National Convention, not what was being said by the Obama campaign and the White House press corps. 00:01:22.000 Joining us now is former Governor of Illinois, Rod Blagojevich.

00:01:28.000 Mr. Bogojevic, welcome back to the program.

00:01:31.000 I'm great.

00:01:31.000 Yeah, I was at the DNC.

00:01:33.000 I wasn't exactly warmly received, but you know, being from Chicago, I couldn't resist myself.

00:01:39.000 Watching this convention, I'm guessing from a little bit of a distance, what has been your reaction, your take?

00:01:44.000 Is it a typical Democrat convention, or has this surprised you in some way?

00:01:49.000 Well, no, the convention is different in many ways.

00:01:51.000 It's made up of different people.

00:01:52.000 It's a different crowd.

00:01:55.000 The Democrat Party looked different when I was at the four Democratic conventions,

00:02:00.000 starting in 1996, then 2000, 2004, and then 2008, the one in Denver when Obama was nominated.

00:02:07.000 There were elements of this sort of what I call the lunatic fringe of the Democrat Party

00:02:13.000 at those conventions back then.

00:02:15.000 But what's dramatically different is that that lunatic fringe now is the majority of that party.

00:02:21.000 They've taken over that party.

00:02:22.000 And, you know, I think it's fair to say that when You know, we call it a democratic convention.

00:02:28.000 It's really a socialist convention masquerading as a democratic convention.

00:02:32.000 It's a very different party and very different people in it with different priorities who are very angry and really don't seem to like our country like they should.

00:02:43.000 I totally agree, and when I was walking the halls there, I don't feel a patriotic spirit.

00:02:50.000 It feels very ideological and much more focused on, I would say, a nihilistic political agenda than patriotism or love of country.

00:03:01.000 And interestingly, I didn't see any families at the DNC, and that was a big contrast versus what I saw at the RNC.

00:03:07.000 Last night, the Obamas gave a couple speeches.

00:03:11.000 You've dealt with the Obamas.

00:03:12.000 What should the American people know about the Obamas that, let's just say, is not being reported on the networks?

00:03:19.000 Well, I think some of it might be reported by some networks, but the major networks, of course, are not.

00:03:23.000 And they're in the tank with Obama, and they were instrumental in getting him the nomination in 2008.

00:03:28.000 It was such an obvious thing how the media had backed him and the idea of who they thought he was or were willing to accept who he was.

00:03:37.000 But Obama's inauthentic.

00:03:40.000 He's not for real. 0.89

00:03:42.000 He's all superficial.

00:03:44.000 He's impressive in that respect, but he's a man with no convictions and he's probably, I would say, the most duplicitous politician in the business of duplicitous politicians.

00:03:54.000 And that was on display last night when he went out of his way to praise Joe Biden, when he's the reason why Joe Biden got dumped from the Democratic ticket.

00:04:03.000 He's the reason why 14 million Democratic primary voters were treated as suckers by Obama and the Democratic bosses who chose Someone not chosen by the voters.

00:04:15.000 So he's not for real, but it served him well. 0.91

00:04:20.000 He's come a long way being a fake guy that he is.

00:04:23.000 So, help me understand why rank-and-file Democrats are putting up with the idea that they were completely disenfranchised in the primary.

00:04:31.000 And it wasn't as if the primary voters voted for both Biden and Harris.

00:04:35.000 It was only Joe Biden.

00:04:36.000 Kamala Harris was not even on the primary ticket.

00:04:40.000 So, Governor, help me understand why rank-and-file Democrats were just willing, as being the party of democracy, to forego democracy.

00:04:49.000 What is this all about? 0.65

00:04:50.000 Well, I think rank-and-filed activist Democrats are willing to forego democracy because, you know, democracy to them is really just a means to their socialist ends and their kind of lunatic, crazy idea ends.

00:05:03.000 And they're more interested in using Marxist tactics, like, for example, weaponized prosecutors bringing fake criminal charges against the leading I guess the presidential candidate from the opposition party, they're all for that.

00:05:17.000 They don't care about the rule of the law or the constitution.

00:05:20.000 It's just about winning an election so that they can get their crazy left-wing policies put in place.

00:05:27.000 And it's not about working people anymore, which is the reason why I was a Democrat, and while I think still most Democrats are.

00:05:33.000 Now I think most Working people who are still Democrats today and there are millions of them across the country, though increasingly a lot of them have left to join this new Republican Party that Trump is building, which is a blue collar working class party.

00:05:46.000 But I still think those Democrats really aren't aware of what their leaders are doing to them.

00:05:51.000 And they're really not aware of how they're being lied to by their leaders.

00:05:54.000 Um, and you know, it's really about priorities, Charlie.

00:05:57.000 When you think about whose side you're on, you're supposed to pick a side when you're in politics, and that's why you choose a party.

00:06:03.000 I became a Democrat because I always thought the Democrat party was for the little guy, the guy that worked in the factory, the woman who, you know, serves the sandwiches at the restaurants.

00:06:10.000 And all kinds of working people.

00:06:12.000 But this Democrat Party no longer makes them a priority.

00:06:15.000 And after three years of Biden-Harris, what do you have?

00:06:18.000 You've got inflation.

00:06:19.000 You've got the cost of a dozen eggs 126% higher than it was when Trump was president.

00:06:26.000 A carton of orange juice is 71% higher than it was when Trump was president.

00:06:30.000 Gas is higher.

00:06:32.000 A gallon of milk is 50% higher.

00:06:33.000 A loaf of bread is 54% higher.

00:06:35.000 And what's their answer to that?

00:06:37.000 Their answer to that is Just rhetoric and offering free vasectomies. 0.68

00:06:42.000 That's their answer to that.

00:06:43.000 And their answer is also a Soviet-style economic answer.

00:06:47.000 This is what Kamala Harris is saying.

00:06:50.000 She wants wage controls. 1.00

00:06:51.000 I mean price controls.

00:06:52.000 And price controls have never worked.

00:06:54.000 What they've always led to is scarcity and starvation.

00:06:57.000 And you couple that with how they weaponized the prosecutors that go after Trump and what they did to me.

00:07:04.000 This is the sort of politics, frankly, where the Democrat Party ought to be kicked out of America and ought to be sent to Russia.

00:07:10.000 And if Russia's too far, send them to Cuba or Venezuela, because that's where they belong. 1.00

00:07:14.000 Kicking the Democrat Party out of America and sending it to Venezuela from a former Democrat, that's a very powerful statement.

00:07:20.000 I completely agree, by the way.

00:07:26.000 I would say a couple of things.

00:07:28.000 from the inside the Democrat what they think their chances are. Looking at this from afar

00:07:33.000 and seeing some of the speeches, does this seem to be a confident party that believes they're going to

00:07:37.000 win by a landslide? What are you gleaning about what they think their political chances are going

00:07:43.000 into November? No, that's a great question. You know, I would say a couple of things. First,

00:07:48.000 I'd never been to a Republican convention until I was at the Republican convention in Milwaukee.

00:07:53.000 Yeah, and thanks for having me.

00:07:56.000 You guys were so nice to me.

00:07:57.000 And you know what?

00:07:58.000 I'm a Trumpocrat.

00:07:59.000 I still consider myself a Democrat for Trump, but a Democrat from the old days, not these Democrats.

00:08:05.000 But I've been to four Democratic conventions.

00:08:07.000 The last one was 2008.

00:08:08.000 And you can sense it in Denver that the party was greatly enthusiastic.

00:08:14.000 The candidate Obama was offering hope and change, which turned out to be a bunch of baloney.

00:08:19.000 There was no change.

00:08:20.000 He became an establishment guy.

00:08:22.000 I suppose he offered hope.

00:08:24.000 But it was all the same old baloney, but he was on fire, and so were the Democrats, and you could sense it at that convention.

00:08:31.000 That candidate and this party was going to win in November.

00:08:35.000 I felt the same thing at the convention in Milwaukee, the same sort of energy, the same sort of enthusiasm from the Republican delegates and the Republican attendees there for President Trump.

00:08:46.000 And my sense of this Democratic convention with the rhetoric that you're hearing, with the anarchists outside of the convention protesting, not dissimilar from what it was like in Chicago in 1968 with anti-war protesters.

00:09:01.000 And the mood generally, and the anger that they're spitting forth, and the dishonesty of their rhetoric.

00:09:06.000 I mean, the lies.

00:09:06.000 It's a party that seems very desperate, believes that they're in trouble, and that their only solution to winning is to trump up fake charges against Donald Trump because Donald Trump has caught the attention of the forgotten Americans who've been ignored too long by the political establishment of both parties.

00:09:25.000 You see, the movement that Trump is starting is really bipartisan, and people are catching on.

00:09:30.000 Yes.

00:09:30.000 It happened overnight.

00:09:31.000 I'm not the only Democrat out there who supported Trump.

00:09:34.000 There are millions of Democrats who are supporting Trump and he's got the

00:09:37.000 opportunity to get a lot more Democrats supporting him, including black voters

00:09:41.000 who've been put aside by the Democrats, who put migrants over poor black people

00:09:46.000 in the interest of poor black people, who push defund the police where here 0.96

00:09:50.000 in Chicago, for example, if you're black, you're 20 times more likely to be a 0.98

00:09:54.000 victim of a homicide than you are if you're white. 0.95

00:09:57.000 And this kind of disrespect for the black community from the party that claims that it's for the black community, I think more and more black people are catching on.

00:10:05.000 And Trump is reaching out to them in ways that the old Republican Party under Bush and Romney and Cheney, they never were interested in doing it.

00:10:12.000 They were a corporate country club party.

00:10:14.000 They didn't care about working people or black people.

00:10:16.000 Trump is very different.

00:10:18.000 And this is why the Democrat establishment hates him so much, because they see he's taking away their voters and changing the political dialogue and the political alignment in America, and it threatens them and threatens their existence.

00:10:31.000 So that's a long answer to your question about what the mood of the convention is.

00:10:35.000 It was a great answer.

00:10:39.000 Hey everybody, Charlie Kirk here.

00:11:33.000 MyPatriotSupply.com.

00:11:34.000 That is MyPatriotSupply.com.

00:11:37.000 Check it out right now.

00:11:40.000 So, Rod, I want you to respond to this here.

00:11:43.000 This is Mallory McMorrow, who is a Michigan lawmaker, talking about the weaponization of justice from the DNC.

00:11:54.000 Donald Trump would be able to weaponize the Department of Justice to go after his political opponents.

00:12:02.000 He could even turn the FBI into his own personal police force.

00:12:11.000 That is not how it works in America!

00:12:19.000 That's how it works in dictatorships!

00:12:23.000 I mean, the lack of self-awareness, this is really, this is creepy stuff.

00:12:29.000 Yeah, she, I mean, that's, talk about projection. 1.00

00:12:33.000 But see, this is what they do, and this is not by accident.

00:12:36.000 They're knowingly doing this. 0.53

00:12:37.000 This is the liar saying that you're lying.

00:12:40.000 And they are projecting onto their opponents, and they do this all the time to President Trump.

00:12:45.000 Their stuff, they accuse him of stuff that they do all the time.

00:12:50.000 I gotta tell you, Charlie, I've been around a lot of politicians, several presidents.

00:12:53.000 I mean, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.

00:12:58.000 Of course, Obama, who I've known since 1995.

00:13:00.000 I was on a trip to Europe with Biden when he was a senator and we went to the Balkans during the war in 1999.

00:13:07.000 So I knew him a little bit.

00:13:08.000 And I know President Trump a little bit.

00:13:11.000 But of all of them, he is the most real and the most authentic and the least political.

00:13:17.000 And again, one of the reasons why they come after him like they do is because they're frankly, they don't know how to deal with somebody who's as real as he is, because they're so full of it.

00:13:25.000 And they believe that their duplicity and their hypocrisy and just lying with a straight face when they know they're doing it.

00:13:32.000 They don't think it's immoral or unethical.

00:13:34.000 You know what they think it is, Charlie?

00:13:36.000 They think this is just These are just the tools of the trade.

00:13:41.000 This is just how we play the game.

00:13:43.000 Michael Jordan, you know, can dribble well.

00:13:46.000 He can take the ball to the hoop.

00:13:47.000 He's got a great jump shot.

00:13:48.000 He can jump high.

00:13:49.000 Those are his skill set. 0.99

00:13:51.000 With these politicians lying and being hypocrites and being duplicitous and being phonies. 0.99

00:13:57.000 They revel in that. 0.99

00:13:58.000 They think this is what makes them good at their business.

00:14:01.000 And this is what this woman is.

00:14:04.000 Although she looks a little bit on the crazy side, she actually might believe

00:14:07.000 some of that crazy stuff she's doing.

00:14:08.000 She's saying, because she's listening to the other ones who have more

00:14:10.000 power, who are convincing her.

00:14:12.000 But it's frightening to see that.

00:14:14.000 But I do think most Americans have common sense and most Americans can see through it.

00:14:20.000 What was it that Lincoln said?

00:14:21.000 Charlie, we're both from Illinois.

00:14:23.000 Lincoln said you can fool all the people some of the time and some of the people all of the time, but you can't fool all the people all of the time.

00:14:29.000 That's right.

00:14:29.000 And I'm putting my hope in Lincoln's words.

00:14:31.000 I love that.

00:14:32.000 In closing here, Governor, you said that there are millions of Democrats that are wanting to vote for Trump.

00:14:37.000 I totally agree.

00:14:38.000 We're starting to see the consolidation.

00:14:40.000 Voices like yours, RFK Jr.

00:14:42.000 potentially that could get behind Trump, Tulsi Gabbard.

00:14:46.000 If you were to advise President Trump for the growing Trumpocrat movement, What policies, what messaging can we maybe peel off a couple million more Trumpocrats into the MAGA movement, which could be decisive?

00:15:01.000 Minute and a half remaining.

00:15:02.000 What advice would you have, Governor?

00:15:05.000 Reach out to the black community, go into Detroit, go into Philadelphia, go into Pittsburgh, go into Milwaukee, go into Atlanta, go into Phoenix, and go into Las Vegas, and talk about how the Democrat Party, led by Joe Biden, as a senator who wrote the bill, and Bill Clinton who signed it, 1994 crime bill that over-sentenced first-time non-violent drug offenders who disproportionately are Black to these long, long sentences that gave them no chance at a second chance.

00:15:34.000 And it led to what a very liberal Black author named Michelle Alexander has called the new Jim Crow in America. 0.99

00:15:41.000 And then contrast that with his record, the First Step Act, Which was a sensible step towards bringing some sense of justice and mercy to a system that addressed those ills that Biden and Clinton and the Democrats did to the black community.

00:15:56.000 I would do that.

00:15:57.000 I would talk about economic issues and I would talk about how Kamala Harris Supports defunding the police because most black voters don't want to defund the police.

00:16:08.000 They recognize they need more police because violent crime in the black communities is dramatically higher than it is where white people live.

00:16:17.000 I completely agree.

00:16:18.000 The Trumpocrat movement and the Democrat Party right now is shrinking, not growing.

00:16:23.000 They might be getting louder, but they're not getting bigger.

00:16:26.000 Governor, thank you so much.

00:16:27.000 Thanks, Charlie.

00:16:28.000 Appreciate it.

00:16:31.000 Hey everybody, Charlie Kirk here.

00:16:32.000 What an unbelievable start to 2024.

00:16:35.000 We had last month saving babies with preborn by providing ultrasounds.

00:16:38.000 And we're doing again this year what we did last year.

00:16:41.000 We're going to stand for life because remaining silent in the face of the most radically pro-death administration is not an option.

00:16:46.000 As Sir Edmund Burke said, the only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing, and we're not going to do nothing.

00:16:52.000 Your gift to preborn will give a girl the truth about what's happening in her body so that she can make the right choice.

00:16:59.000 $280 can save 10 babies.

00:17:01.000 $28 a month can save a baby a month all year long.

00:17:03.000 And a $15,000 gift will provide a complete ultrasound machine that will save thousands of babies for years and years to come.

00:17:10.000 And we'll also save moms from a lifetime of pain and regret.

00:17:13.000 Call 833-850-2229.

00:17:34.000 Michael Siefert from Public Squares with us.

00:17:35.000 Michael, great to see you.

00:17:37.000 Michael, your reaction to the DNC and then also what you are doing, offering to support pregnant women near the DNC.

00:17:45.000 Tell us all about it.

00:17:48.000 Well, the DNC, I think, has been a resounding helpful aid to the Trump campaign.

00:17:53.000 It has put on display the depravity in the Democratic Party.

00:17:57.000 It has put on display the perversion they hope to utilize to influence the United States population.

00:18:03.000 The Democrats truly are not the Democrats of 30, 40 years ago.

00:18:07.000 And that is evidently clear after watching even a few clips over the course of the past few days.

00:18:12.000 It's also very clear that it's still Obama's party at the end of the day.

00:18:16.000 And so he tried to present last night as the unity candidate full of hope and vision for the future.

00:18:20.000 But the problem is the Democrats have a four-year track record now over the last four years of absolute chaos.

00:18:27.000 President Donald J. Trump will bring law and order, peace, safety, security, and the Democrats have no plan to rebut that.

00:18:35.000 That's number one.

00:18:36.000 Number two, there was no greater sign of the Democrats' depravity and desire to pervert the next generation than them allowing for a Planned Parenthood bus to roll up on the scene and offer abortions and vasectomies To interested participants outside of the arena in Chicago.

00:18:53.000 This was absolutely disgusting and it showcases how much the Democrats truly these days are anti-life in their messaging and in their actions.

00:19:01.000 What we decided to do, as a reminder, we created a company called Every Life.

00:19:06.000 It's the fastest growing baby brand in the world right now and it is also the only Pro-life, pro-family, diaper and wipes brand.

00:19:13.000 We decided to show up at the DNC as well.

00:19:16.000 And we actually partnered with Sidewalk Advocates for Life to offer women who would choose life.

00:19:23.000 And while the Democrats are singing messages of destruction, we are trying to celebrate a message of life and hope and family and faith.

00:19:41.000 And that's exactly what we decided to do at the DNC and thankfully we've had quite a reception there in Chicago.

00:19:48.000 This is really important.

00:19:51.000 How can people support the company itself, Michael?

00:19:53.000 I want to repeat that because it's very important.

00:19:55.000 Say that first, please.

00:19:58.000 Well, Every Life, you can find us at everylife.com, is the only pro-life, pro-family diaper company in the United States.

00:20:04.000 This always shocks people when I share this, but every single major other diaper brand in the United States today is either vocally or financially pro-abortion, whether it's Coterie or Honest or Hello Bello or Pampers.

00:20:17.000 These companies, in many cases, actually donate to Planned Parenthood, which is absurd, not just morally, but also economically.

00:20:23.000 It makes no sense, but it shows you how much this Socially progressive driven company corporatism has really infected the United States economy.

00:20:34.000 What we've decided to do is actually celebrate life in every purchase.

00:20:38.000 We give back as a portion of our proceeds through our Buy for a Cause program to pregnancy resource centers.

00:20:43.000 We have over 600 that we're in partnership with around the country.

00:20:46.000 We have deep partnerships with over 300 churches.

00:20:49.000 So if you are a parent and you're looking for diapers or wipes that are clean ingredients,

00:20:54.000 that are high in quality, a premium product, and celebrate and affirm the value

00:20:59.000 in every single innocent life, we'd love for you to partner with us at EveryLife.

00:21:03.000 Here at the DNC, we wanted to be intentional to make sure that while the Democrats are pushing a message that is anti-life on its face, we are actually celebrating the innate value in every single God-designed human being from the moment of conception.

00:21:18.000 And we hope that this message of hope through our brand, EveryLife, ultimately spreads across the country and eventually around the world.

00:21:24.000 So help me understand this, that the Planned Parenthood has a mobile truck where they have now terminated 25 babies.

00:21:32.000 So 25 babies have been terminated at the DNC and they are bragging about it. 0.96

00:21:36.000 And there's also vasectomies there.

00:21:38.000 Thank you guys, great pull on the b-roll.

00:21:40.000 That is the abortion truck that rolled into the DNC from Planned Parenthood.

00:21:45.000 This is celebrated.

00:21:47.000 This is considered to be great and really praised by the leadership of the Democrat Party.

00:21:54.000 This is honored and acknowledged by them as being terrific.

00:22:00.000 So can you please, Michael, tell us, typical corporate America right now, corporate America is in alignment with Planned Parenthood and they find nothing wrong with this.

00:22:14.000 Talk about what your company is doing in disagreement, obviously, with what Planned Parenthood is doing.

00:22:21.000 And I think that what people need to understand, what people need to realize, is that the Planned Parenthood agenda is articulated and held by major corporations in this country.

00:22:34.000 Is that correct?

00:22:36.000 In fact, 300 of the largest companies in the United States, after the overturning of Roe v. Wade two years ago, came out and said, not only are we in support of Planned Parenthood, but we're actually going to fund our employees' abortions.

00:22:36.000 It is.

00:22:51.000 So if our employees want to travel across state lines, we'll pay for all the travel.

00:22:55.000 That was the message to their employees.

00:22:57.000 And these are companies like Amazon.

00:22:58.000 These are companies like Procter & Gamble.

00:23:00.000 These are companies like Starbucks or Lululemon.

00:23:03.000 Some of the main staples of the American economy.

00:23:06.000 And it's heartbreaking to witness, not only is it very anti-life in nature, but going deeper than that, it's also very sinister for a corporation to actually fund the demise of your family unit.

00:23:18.000 And they will say that it's because we support a women's right to choose.

00:23:22.000 But in reality, what Amazon actually cares about is making sure that you stay the cog in the wheel that they need you to be.

00:23:28.000 They can't deal with the idea that you would take paternity leave and that you would actually leave the corporate entity for a few months or, God forbid, would actually decide to stay home with your kids.

00:23:38.000 They can't handle that loss in productivity.

00:23:40.000 So what they'll do instead is say, we care about women's rights. 1.00

00:23:43.000 Here's $4,000.

00:23:44.000 Go get an abortion. 1.00

00:23:46.000 It's disgusting. 0.98

00:23:47.000 And Charlie, what we've done in response to this is not only celebrating life with our brand, partnering with pregnancy resource centers to ensure that we're giving actual free diapers to mothers in need.

00:23:56.000 For our own staff, we have 120 team members now on full-time staff.

00:24:00.000 When any of our staff, Charlie, has a baby or adopts, we actually give a $5,000 after-tax baby bonus to our employees.

00:24:09.000 We believe ultimately that strong families will build a strong company, just like strong families build a strong nation.

00:24:15.000 And right now, our birth rate is sinking dramatically across our country.

00:24:19.000 The last thing we need to do is incentivize the demise of the family unit.

00:24:24.000 We need to celebrate the growth of our population.

00:24:26.000 We need to celebrate the growth of the individual families that are making up our companies and our country.

00:24:32.000 And that's what we're proud to do at EveryLife.

00:24:34.000 Why do you think that corporate America is so on board for this depopulation agenda? 0.89

00:24:38.000 Is it that we want you to have no kids so you can be better obedient corporate slaves to whatever ridiculous company that they're employed by? 1.00

00:24:49.000 That's exactly right.

00:24:50.000 It is certainly about upping productivity, so they believe, within their workforce.

00:24:55.000 We actually find the opposite, though, by the way.

00:24:57.000 We find that the best employees that feel like they can have the most longevity and sustainability at our company are the ones that feel like their company has their back to build their families in strength and for them to be able to engage in their community.

00:25:10.000 Corporate America falsely believes that if they incentivize the destruction of your family unit, that somehow they will receive greater productivity out of you, that you'll work into your 30s and 40s and 50s childless.

00:25:24.000 And because of that, you'll be a more productive agent for their bottom line.

00:25:27.000 There's also an immigration play here, Charlie.

00:25:29.000 The major corporate entities that dominate our country don't love American labor. 0.96

00:25:34.000 At the end of the day, they want immigrant labor. 1.00

00:25:36.000 So they don't really care that the American birth rate is pummeling because they can get Lower wages to pay to foreign-born workers that are coming into the United States. 0.99

00:25:44.000 This is why we've seen foreign-born job growth skyrocket over the last five years, while native-born job growth has actually stayed completely stagnant.

00:25:53.000 It has flatlined.

00:25:54.000 It has not grown.

00:25:55.000 And this is all part of the same agenda.

00:25:58.000 They don't care if Americans are having less children, as long as we're opening the borders and flooding in immigrants that can do the same job for a lot cheaper. 0.98

00:26:06.000 That's how they view this.

00:26:07.000 It's all a matter of ones and zeros.

00:26:10.000 These aren't people on the other end of their interactions if you're a Jeff Bezos or if you're a Starbucks.

00:26:16.000 They just don't care.

00:26:18.000 And I hope that consumers take that to heart.

00:26:20.000 I certainly hope that employees of these corporate entities take that to heart as well.

00:26:24.000 Corporations and government Are in bed together in order to fully incentivize the destruction of the family unit in the United States, open our borders to allow for lower wages and depress American workers and American small businesses in the process.

00:26:38.000 We exist as a company.

00:26:40.000 You exist as a show to not only call these issues out, but also be the agents of change that are trying to push back against this destruction and demise.

00:26:48.000 So help, just one minute remaining, plug the website again and then I want to talk about Kamala Harris's economic policies and what that would mean for the entrepreneurs at Public Square. 1.00

00:26:56.000 But remind the audience how they could support one more time.

00:27:01.000 Well, the best way you can get started in supporting our brand and our mission is by heading to everylife.com.

00:27:06.000 You'll find out a lot there, whether you're a parent, a grandparent wanting to purchase diapers for maybe your kids or your grandkids.

00:27:14.000 If you are someone who maybe doesn't have children, but you just want to support the mission, you can actually engage in our Buy for a Cause program.

00:27:21.000 And you can find out all of that at everylife.com.

00:27:24.000 Related to Kamala's economic policies, Charlie, it is absurd to me that not only has she proposed price controls, which is literal communism, it's been tried before.

00:27:34.000 It's never worked.

00:27:35.000 If you look at Maduro, you look at Soviet era Russia, if you look at China and the Great Leap Forward, time and time again, price controls, especially related to food, have always been the first pin to drop that ends up destroying your entire economy.

00:27:49.000 But to go further than that, And to promote things like a 28% corporate tax or a 44% capital gains tax, which is in alignment with Biden's previous proposals, or the most absurd, a 25% tax on unrealized gains, you are going to destroy the innovative and entrepreneurial spirit that has built this country because no longer will there be any incentive for us to build businesses.

00:28:14.000 That is the intent.

00:28:18.000 Did you know that roughly half of the global population has access to reliable electricity?

00:28:22.000 Rockefeller Foundation labels them energy poor.

00:28:25.000 But just because they have unreliable access to electricity doesn't mean that they wish to stay energy poor.

00:28:30.000 That's because of fossil fuels.

00:28:31.000 Those populations are lifting themselves out of poverty.

00:28:34.000 That's right.

00:28:35.000 From irrigation to cultivation and transportation, food production is at an all-time high.

00:28:39.000 And purification and pumping systems are delivering the world's cleanest water.

00:28:43.000 So much so that 3.6 billion people considered energy poor are beginning to flourish, even as Kamala Harris and AOC wish to drive them back to the Stone Ages and miserable poverty with the Green New Deal.

00:28:53.000 I'm Charlie Kirk, and I just want you to know the facts.

00:28:56.000 Go to oilfacts.com and get educated today on these critical facts.

00:28:59.000 and the need for American energy and what we can do to keep billions from catastrophic deaths from

00:29:04.000 happening. These facts are irrefutable. Go to oilfacts.com.

00:29:07.000 That is oilfacts.com. These facts are brought to you by the Prairie Operating Group,

00:29:12.000 dedicated to safe and responsible production of American energy. So Michael, let's go further into Kamala

00:29:17.000 Harris's economic agenda.

00:29:20.000 Unrealized capital gains from the inheritance tax to her war on American energy.

00:29:25.000 You represent more small businesses than any other organization out there.

00:29:28.000 What would this mean to the American job-creating entrepreneur?

00:29:32.000 Well, Charlie, we ran a recent survey of our business community.

00:29:35.000 And as a reminder, we have over 84,000 small business merchants in our community at Public Square.

00:29:41.000 And over half of them said that if Kamala were to win and to implement her policy agenda, they would no longer be able to survive as a small business.

00:29:50.000 It's not feasible.

00:29:52.000 So if you're an entrepreneur in this country and you're looking over the next four years and you have hopes for building a business that can positively impact your consumers and your investors and your community, You should really rush to the ballots and to these polling booths in November and make sure that your vote is cast for economic liberty, because that is what is on the line.

00:30:13.000 For example, if you look at the unrealized capital gains, if you're an employee or you're a startup founder and you're trying to build a business and you're in the early stages, much of your compensation is actually in stock.

00:30:24.000 You don't want to drain the company of cash.

00:30:27.000 Do you actually elect for stock options or restricted stock units in the hopes that one day

00:30:33.000 you will actually be able to cash in and earn income in accordance with the blood, sweat and tears

00:30:39.000 you've poured into your business.

00:30:40.000 When you as an entrepreneur in a state like California, for example, are already paying up to 13%

00:30:48.000 in capital gains taxes.

00:30:50.000 And now the federal government under a Kamala Harris administration

00:30:53.000 would want to up that to an additional 44%.

00:30:56.000 You can find yourself spending almost 60% of your capital gains.

00:31:01.000 The hard work that you have put into your business being stripped away from you when you actually want to go

00:31:08.000 and eventually realize those gains.

00:31:09.000 And then on top of it, what about in the meantime?

00:31:12.000 Anytime your portfolio goes up in value, even if you don't actually sell those shares, having to actually pay a 25% tax on the unrealized gain with money you don't have because you never sold the shares in the first place, This would kill the American economy in a very material way.

00:31:30.000 That's right, and we need to wake up as many entrepreneurs as possible to the pro-growth agenda and the job-creating and wealth-creating agenda of President Donald Trump.

00:31:39.000 And we see tonight Governor Tim Walz is going to be speaking, which to our prior conversation is connected to some of the most radical pro-abortion policies in the entire country.

00:31:51.000 What are your entrepreneurs telling you about this election, Michael, as their top concerns and even their political preferences?

00:31:58.000 Well, if you flash all the way back to the primary, the Republican primary, 92% of our businesses were in favor of President Donald J. Trump.

00:32:07.000 So even before the general election actually started, our businesses said, I remember what life was like from 2016 to 2020, and I want that economic environment again.

00:32:17.000 Donald J. Trump proved that he was able to pull it off the first time.

00:32:20.000 He was a business owner.

00:32:22.000 He was a business leader.

00:32:23.000 We need a CEO to govern our country, not a political bureaucrat that spent 50 years in the swamp.

00:32:30.000 We need a tried and true business leader.

00:32:32.000 It worked from 2016 to 2020.

00:32:33.000 It'll work again.

00:32:36.000 And ultimately, as we near the election right now, they're not only in favor of the economic policies that President Trump has proven works, they're also so vehemently opposed to the policies that you're starting to see out of Harris and Walz and what that agenda would actually look like.

00:32:52.000 Also, for the Minnesota-specific business owners, they remember very well what COVID was like under Tim Walz.

00:32:58.000 They have long memories and they remember how Governor Tim Walz imposed the most strict lockdowns in this entire country.

00:33:05.000 They remember what it was like to face these lockdowns, but then for him to turn around and have no problem with Minneapolis being burnt to the ground.

00:33:14.000 Many of these small business owners in Minneapolis had to shutter their doors and put wood on the windows because they were horrified that these protests would actually devolve into violence, which is exactly what happened.

00:33:27.000 So, while you weren't allowed to go visit your sick relatives in the hospital, and you weren't allowed to keep your mom-and-pop business open, he had no problem with allowing for riots to break out in the streets because that was for a just cause like George Floyd.

00:33:40.000 They remember, and they're not going to forget when they go to the polls this November.

00:33:45.000 Michael C. for everyone.

00:33:45.000 I love that.

00:33:46.000 Check out Public Square, publicsquare.com.
