00:02:11.000 What I see is people like AOC and Bernie Sanders, who are further left than politicians we've seen in the mainstream in modern American history, garnering so much support, breaking records with attendance at rallies.

00:02:23.000 What the left may need right now is possibly somebody further to the left, not further to the right.

00:02:29.000 Okay, so Ryan, which way do you think the Democrat Party is going to go?

00:02:34.000 I love it when a kid whose headphones are too big for his head is giving the world life advice.

00:02:39.000 I think that that was that kid if you couldn't.

00:02:42.000 If you can't see it.

00:02:44.000 It depends on the primary structure for the 2028 presidential election.

00:02:48.000 If they skip Iowa and New Hampshire again, it is very clear they're going to move to the center because Black voters, who will make up a majority of the voters in South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, these early states, I don't know about Florida anymore, but it was Florida forever, in the Democratic primary, they are centrist.

00:03:07.000 They are centrist to conservative Democratic voters.

00:03:10.000 The reason that Joe Biden was able to resurrect his entire career in the 2020 Democratic primary is because the South Carolina black voters resurrected him.

00:03:20.000 And that's why Iowa was where Barack Obama was able to get his start.

00:03:25.000 And he probably would have won anyway in South Carolina because he was a black candidate. 0.58

00:03:28.000 But a lot of moderate candidates find their success in the Deep South.

00:03:32.000 If the Deep South is the beginning of the 2020 presidential calendar, it is because the party is looking for a moderate person.

00:03:39.000 If they start in Nevada...

00:03:41.000 Iowa, New Hampshire, anything like that, it will be leaning progressive.

00:03:45.000 So speaking more broadly, if you kind of look at the four components of the current Democrat Party, they have people that are addicted to government programs.

00:03:56.000 They don't want to work.

00:03:57.000 You have government workers, so people that are paper shufflers. 0.99

00:04:01.000 You have, let's say, black women or just kind of black and Hispanic, but not increasingly less Hispanic.

00:04:11.000 Those are basically the four components of the Democrat Party.

00:04:16.000 Yeah, and you're missing the people who professionally hate men and white people.

00:04:22.000 They kind of fall in between those things, but that's also the very fifth, very important portion of it.

00:04:29.000 And if you look at that David Shore deep dive, which I know you've talked about in the past, the Democratic Party's worst demographic in the last election was men under the age of 20. Like, it is such a reversal because of how toxic... 0.62

00:04:47.000 And the fact that Jasmine Crockett is a tie with Barack Obama in the CNN poll of who is the leader of the Democratic Party.

00:04:53.000 They have the dime store Cardi B, who was a middle-aged woman who went to elite private schools. 0.89

00:04:58.000 And then the former president, who hate him or love him, was the former president.

00:05:04.000 And a very eloquent speaker with Jasmine Crockett, who was comparing a paralyzed person, calling him Hot Wheels today, at the Human Rights Convention.

00:05:13.000 That is really a startling place for how much the party has kind of lost its mind and how much bigger the tent for the Republican Party has become.

00:05:27.000 This is people trust Republicans more than Democrats on issues that matter.

00:05:34.000 You know, what you see here is if you look at the top issues that voters care the most about, cost of living, the economy, taxes and government spending, you know, the deficit, foreign policy, you know, health care.

00:05:45.000 Other than health care, where Democrats have a narrow lead, Republicans have massive trust advantages, you know, 15 points on all of the issues that voters care the most about.

00:05:55.000 And so the story that I would tell in response to your question is that in this election, voters trusted That is quite a reversal in just a couple years.

00:06:10.000 Ryan, what do you attribute that to?

00:06:12.000 Well, one, the focus by Democrats on things that don't matter, like abortion and like the rise of fascism, which most people in their regular lives don't honestly think is the...

00:06:23.000 One, is happening, and two, is happening tomorrow.

00:06:27.000 And also the fact that Democrats really had a breakdown of civil society.

00:06:31.000 Look, Democrats run almost every one of our major cities in America.

00:06:34.000 The places in the 90s and 2000s that everyone wanted to be.

00:06:38.000 Everyone wanted to be in New York or Los Angeles or in thriving metropolitan cities.

00:06:43.000 And they're all losing people.

00:06:46.000 I was actually thinking about this before.

00:06:48.000 If you look at the new census numbers that had the number of immigrants moving to these cities and If it were not for mass immigration, blue cities would actually feel the repercussion of failed policies, and it's only because they keep bringing in these third-world immigrants that sit there and bring the population back. 1.00

00:07:07.000 Americans have rejected them with their feet. 0.99

00:07:09.000 They're leaving them in mass, and they have for the last five years.

00:07:12.000 They have failed on quality of life issues across the board, and then they defend lawlessness from crime and riots to the border.

00:07:22.000 And they expect you to feel more sorry for an illegal alien who's in a gang and has gang tattoos and was deported quickly than they do for that poor girl, the nursing student, who was killed in Georgia.

00:07:35.000 That is a complete and total breakdown of where their thought process and what priorities are when it comes to how Americans live every day.

00:07:45.000 So the prevailing wisdom was that if we just moderate our politics as Republicans, this is what Karl Rove would tell us.

00:07:54.000 This is what Liz Cheney would tell us.

00:07:57.000 This is what Adam Kinzinger would tell us.

00:07:59.000 This is what a lot of the blubbery talking heads on cable TV will tell you.

00:08:03.000 And they would tell it to my face.

00:08:05.000 Well, Charlie, you know, if you want to win young people over, you have to moderate your politics.

00:08:10.000 You're too extreme, Charlie.

00:08:13.000 You're too outspoken.

00:08:15.000 Don't talk about the war on white people.

00:08:17.000 You just talk about lowering taxes for young people and that's how you'll win them. 1.00

00:08:24.000 Well, it turns out that was all a bunch of rubbish.

00:08:26.000 It turns out that young people wanted a cultural force.

00:08:30.000 They wanted a reckoning against the prevailing rot that they were seeing encompass their nation.

00:08:38.000 This is the New York Times, Ezra Klein and David Shore, about how Democrats are getting I'll be honest, I still don't think our audience is internalizing the improbability of this.

00:08:53.000 How much this messes up the Democrats' long-term plans.

00:09:21.000 That if Donald Trump couldn't run these numbers up among seniors and you had millennials really coming into their voting power, Gen Z coming in, that was going to be the end of this Republican Party.

00:09:36.000 You know, I have to admit, I was one of those liberals four years ago, and it seems like I was wrong.

00:09:42.000 I would just sit there and say that the work that you've done, the work that a lot of people do, the thing that the Liz Cheney's did not understand is what is a moderate?

00:09:49.000 A moderate is not always Susan Collins.

00:09:51.000 A moderate is very far right on immigration and maybe centrist on abortion and left-wing on health care.

00:09:56.000 That's what a moderate is.

00:09:57.000 And we hit where the moderates actually cared about, like on immigration, the border, and the war against white people.

00:12:22.000 And she's trying to say, this is how I will break through as a potential lead in the Democratic Party, either to have a post career as a television host or a speaking engagement person, or she's going to sit there and run with AOC in the most.

00:13:12.000 And I think that they're going to probably pick a man who is not a white man, who checks a lot of boxes, who speaks well and has centrist career things.

00:13:22.000 The Harris DNC convention and the Hillary DNC convention, it looked a lot like a George W. Bush convention in the way they sounded about certain things, patriotism, America.

00:13:31.000 They've definitely taken this road, and I just don't think there is enough people in the Democratic Party who live in Bushwick, Brooklyn, who've got pink hair, just that they were nominated.

00:13:43.000 AOC could not win a statewide primary in New York against Chuck Schumer.

00:13:46.000 That is why I believe partially she's looking at a national primary.

00:13:49.000 And there is nothing...

00:13:50.000 Running for off president is a career booster.

00:13:53.000 That is how you end up becoming Pete Buttigieg, which you would have never done if you had to run just being a mayor.

00:13:58.000 So I think that there's going to be a lot of people in the clown car.

00:14:01.000 But at the end of the day, I think black voters who make up the majority of primary voters for the Democratic Party in a lot of states, especially the big southeast states, they will be voting for a moderate man, probably a man of color.

00:14:15.000 And I think that Westmore has what it takes right now.

00:14:19.000 You do think AOC will run for the presidency.

00:14:21.000 I mean, it looks, I don't, if she was not, I don't know what else she would be doing.

00:14:26.000 Like, she's not doing anything differently than I would be advising her if I was a Democratic consultant.

00:14:30.000 There's nothing that she's doing that would make me think she's not running for president.

00:14:34.000 I don't think she's running for a statewide office in New York. 0.59

00:14:37.000 I just don't think she's going to challenge Chuck Schumer's, you know, $50 million coffers.

00:14:41.000 And she does, she isolates too many people in New York.

00:14:44.000 There's too many voters who absolutely be appalled by her. 0.99

00:14:47.000 So I think she's going to look at a national thing and being the national voice of the party.

00:14:51.000 And she has a better chance of doing that, although I don't think she can win than she does at being a state, a U.S.

00:14:59.000 It's a very interesting question that, by all appearances, the Democrat Party should moderate.

00:15:12.000 Depending on what state they choose first, they're going to signal the type of primary electorate they want to run towards.

00:15:19.000 I suppose the question, though, is will the national base of the Democrat Party put up with a moderation campaign?

00:15:27.000 Or be a populist progressive in the sense that they used to be.

00:15:31.000 Be like a labor activist of the 1970s.

00:15:38.000 Be super pro-union.

00:15:40.000 Be super pro-worker.

00:15:41.000 And be against illegal immigration, which drives down their wages.

00:15:44.000 Trying to mix...

00:15:46.000 But they don't want working class voters. 0.98

00:15:49.000 That's their ultimate problem.

00:15:50.000 There is a path for Democrats to move forward on.

00:15:54.000 Talk about billionaires in the Trump administration or the wealthy or tax cuts.

00:15:58.000 There is a road for them to walk on and be a working class party.

00:16:03.000 They have no interest in working class people because they're revolted by them. 1.00

00:16:07.000 They are the party of college educated people who have those signs.

00:16:11.000 One of the reasons why they're revolted is that a majority of the working class is white. 0.99

00:16:17.000 So if you have a white working class, they hate white people.

00:16:20.000 So therefore, they don't deserve any representation.

00:17:55.000 So, during CPAC, I made a statement that I was going to go to Boston and bring hell with me because of child rapists, illegal aliens that were walking the streets of Boston because of their sanctuary policies, not only in Boston, but the entire state of Massachusetts.

00:18:09.000 As promised, I went to Boston last Tuesday and we started a five-day operation.

00:18:13.000 We arrested 370 illegal aliens, most of them criminal threats, and including child sexual predators, murderers, gun traffickers, drug traffickers.

00:19:23.000 So part of what the media is focusing on is this Enemies Act that has been invoked to repel Trende Aragua in the interior of the United States.

00:19:41.000 Rachel Maddow and a lot of people on the far left are trying to make a big deal saying that, well, there are non-Trende Aragua members that were caught up in the deportation effort and expelling them to El Salvador.

00:19:53.000 What is the truth of the matter here, Tom?

00:19:55.000 I've talked to the highest levels of ICE.

00:19:57.000 I've talked to the officers that are involved with that manifest and putting those targets together.

00:20:01.000 They guarantee me that every one of the Venezuelans I have a plight with is a TDA member. 1.00

00:20:05.000 It doesn't surprise me that any family member of TDA are going to say they're not TDA because they certainly don't want them in El Salvador in prison.

00:20:12.000 But look, this was based on a lot of investigative work.

00:20:15.000 Anything from scraping social media to surveillance to intelligence briefings to criminal investigations, just because a gang member doesn't have a criminal record doesn't mean they're not a gang member, just as most terrorists in this world aren't in any terrorist database.

00:20:31.000 So I'm going to believe the men and women who do this for a living before I believe any member of TDA.

00:20:38.000 TDA's been designated a terrorist organization.

00:21:16.000 Because you're talking about the men and women of ICE who strap a gun to the hip every day, put a badge on their chest, and put themselves in harm's way every day to protect this public, to remove public safety threats and national security threats from the streets of this country, to compare them to the Nazis, for God's sakes?

00:21:51.000 But the terrorists to the Alien Enemies Act, a law that was enacted by Congress and signed by a president, were enforcing the law on the books.

00:22:01.000 President Trump, by proclamation, took the steps he could take to remove terrorists from the country as quick as possible, and that's exactly what we did.

00:22:09.000 So I'm shocked but not surprised that somebody would say something like that, but it's disgusting.

00:22:16.000 To the Democrat obstructionists like the mayor of Boston and many others like Kathy Hochul, I want to play Kathy Hochul's tape and get your reaction.

00:22:49.000 So our state policy, our state law, does not allow for our state police to be involved in those situations.

00:22:56.000 Now what we have are some renegade counties in New York, because individual counties can sign a pact with ICE.

00:23:03.000 They are cooperating with their local police departments, but what I control is the state police, and they will not cooperate.

00:23:15.000 Look, I'm a native New Yorker, born in New York, raised in New York, went to college in New York.

00:23:26.000 Under the Immigration Nationality Act, we go with an administrative warrant.
