00:03:04.000 Hi, hi.
00:03:04.000 What's up?
00:03:05.000 It's super easy.
00:03:05.000 Welcome.
00:03:06.000 You're in Arizona.
00:03:07.000 It's just right down the street.
00:03:09.000 Not down the street, but it's like I've never shot anything in Arizona.
00:03:12.000 So this is like my home place.
00:03:13.000 You have an open invite.
00:03:14.000 That was a fun podcast we did.
00:03:16.000 That was so awesome.
00:03:17.000 And the audience really, really loved it.
00:03:19.000 I was excited.
00:03:20.000 Yeah, we got to do like part two, part three.
00:03:22.000 Oh, I'm down.
00:03:22.000 I'm down.
00:03:24.000 My podcast is basically me learning and absorbing.
00:03:27.000 And man, when I sat down with you, like I said in the beginning of it, I walked away just being like, I feel like a little, I bought a suit afterwards, bro.
00:03:33.000 I was like, all right, I feel like I could rock this now.
00:03:36.000 I feel like I know a little bit more.
00:03:38.000 But yeah, hopefully I get to learn a little bit more from your perspective and help my country grow.
00:03:43.000 You're a great interviewer because it's honest.
00:03:46.000 It's very clear that you want to learn from the people you're interviewing.
00:03:48.000 Yes.
00:03:48.000 It's not just a shtick.
00:03:50.000 Well, my dad, when I was growing up, my dad used to always tell me, absorb.
00:03:54.000 Like, don't act like you know everything.
00:03:56.000 You'll never know anything.
00:03:57.000 So, when I sit with my guests, I know a lot of people like they try to like stump them or ask them questions, stuff like that.
00:04:04.000 And my buddy, when I first started, he's like, just act like it's a dude on the elevator.
00:04:08.000 Because if I'm in the elevator with somebody, I never could just sit quietly and I'll just sit and I'll talk to them.
00:04:14.000 And he's like, within like just a few levels of a floor, what you can get this guy to open up about.
00:04:19.000 And I think that's just because I truly care.
00:04:21.000 So I brought that to my podcast.
00:04:23.000 So are you the type that talks to people on airplanes?
00:04:25.000 Oh, yeah.
00:04:26.000 Oh, yeah, I do.
00:04:27.000 So you're that guy.
00:04:28.000 I can't say that.
00:04:28.000 I'm that guy.
00:04:29.000 And also, I fart on planes and I never admit it.
00:04:32.000 I'll just look like, what is that?
00:04:33.000 What is that smell?
00:04:34.000 That's gross.
00:04:35.000 What's that?
00:04:36.000 Do you always point to somebody else?
00:04:37.000 No, I never, I never lie, but I just don't.
00:04:40.000 I guess I lie.
00:04:40.000 I never pointed at somebody.
00:04:41.000 So you're always trying to strike conversation with the person next to you.
00:04:45.000 Yeah.
00:04:46.000 Have you always been that way?
00:04:47.000 Always.
00:04:48.000 The reason why is just because I went, okay, if we're talking about planes, if you're looking down, I always get overwhelmed by how many people there is.
00:04:54.000 Like if you look down, like in the plane or just in the world, in the world.
00:04:58.000 If you look down from the plane, you're like, man, the earth is huge.
00:05:02.000 There's so many people.
00:05:03.000 I get so anxious sometimes knowing that I won't be able to meet everybody.
00:05:07.000 I get so anxious.
00:05:09.000 I want to meet everybody.
00:05:11.000 So it's fair to say you're an extrovert.
00:05:13.000 Oh, yeah.
00:05:14.000 Unless I'm sad.
00:05:14.000 Yeah, yeah.
00:05:15.000 And actually, I was really happy.
00:05:17.000 I went through a stage of my life where I was sad because now I understand why people are quiet is because they're dealing with their own things.
00:05:23.000 So now when I see somebody sad, I really try to like.
00:05:25.000 So being around people charges you up.
00:05:28.000 You get more energy being around people.
00:05:29.000 Dude, it's as cheesy as it sounds.
00:05:32.000 It's like when I meet somebody, I just go, why did God create you?
00:05:35.000 Like, I just get so excited about it.
00:05:37.000 That's amazing.
00:05:38.000 I get so excited about it because I know there's a lot of people, but if you look at how big the universe is, the chances of you being born is like crazy rare.
00:05:47.000 And I don't think people really understand how rare it is to be like born.
00:05:50.000 So I don't care where you're at in life.
00:05:53.000 I just want to know who you are because you might not think you were meant to be here, or maybe you're full of yourself and you think you deserve everything.
00:06:00.000 Regardless of who you are, like God created you.
00:06:02.000 So I'm so excited to meet you in the character that you're at because you might develop, you might get better, you might get worse.
00:06:09.000 And for me to learn from where you came from or who you are, it's just way too exciting for me to like pass by on it.
00:06:14.000 So I want to just take a second, go step back, introduce kind of yourself for the audience that might not know.
00:06:19.000 The younger audience knows, by the way, you're very, very popular.
00:06:21.000 I can't tell you.
00:06:22.000 I went into Starbucks and, you know, Chop Shop recently locally.
00:06:26.000 Yo, saw you on George Jenko, saw you on George Jenkins, like tons of people messaging us.
00:06:30.000 Let's go.
00:06:30.000 Let's go.
00:06:31.000 So you have a huge following, very well respected.
00:06:33.000 Thank you so much.
00:06:33.000 For years.
00:06:34.000 And I want to kind of go through that story.
00:06:36.000 But for those that don't know, who is George Jenko?
00:06:40.000 George Janko is just a kid who liked to entertain when I was a kid.
00:06:44.000 And when I grew up, I went to Hollywood and I kind of went into different rooms and I realized that I have certain type of talents and I try to enheighten them.
00:06:53.000 And I think 11 years in the industry, I met Jesus where he kind of was like, hey, like, let's do this fully together.
00:07:01.000 And when I threw away everything that I wanted for myself and really dedicated my talents for him, he just threw everything at my feet.
00:07:09.000 Now, I understand the kingdom, like search for the kingdom and the rest shall follow.
00:07:14.000 I'm just a man who's here just trying to use his talents for God.
00:07:17.000 And if it's from talking on a podcast or if it's like I'm on stage telling jokes, if I'm not trying to make you laugh, I'm trying to show you the truth.
00:07:26.000 And I just kind of been going on this way.
00:07:28.000 So is it fair to say your kind of uptick was on a certain podcast, right?
00:07:33.000 Yeah, I was on Impulsive.
00:07:34.000 Yeah.
00:07:35.000 I don't know if you're okay talking about it.
00:07:36.000 Oh, yeah, yeah, absolutely.
00:07:37.000 I started making internet skits with a good friend.
00:07:40.000 His name was Logan.
00:07:41.000 And he invited me to his podcast.
00:07:43.000 Before he was like huge?
00:07:45.000 He was famous when I met him, but not where he is now.
00:07:48.000 He wasn't just like.
00:07:49.000 No, no, no.
00:07:50.000 He's a superstar now.
00:07:51.000 Like that guy is everywhere.
00:07:53.000 But when I met him, he was just, you know, like an internet creator.
00:07:57.000 And he, and you know, it's so funny because a lot of people get uncomfortable asking me about Logan because they think that I'm like, I hate him or I'm angry with him.
00:08:04.000 But no, I learned everything from him.
00:08:07.000 Like that man taught me a lot of things in and out.
00:08:09.000 I might not agree with him or work with him right now, but everything that I've had was given first from God, but he used Logan to open those doors.
00:08:16.000 So I never started to work on content together.
00:08:19.000 Is that right?
00:08:20.000 Yeah, he basically started putting me in his videos because he thought I was talented.
00:08:24.000 And from there, we just started creating things left and right.
00:08:26.000 And then it kind of grew.
00:08:28.000 And it went super viral.
00:08:29.000 And so you were kind of a co-host of the show.
00:08:31.000 Is that fair?
00:08:32.000 Yeah.
00:08:32.000 I was the third, uh, the third wheel on Impulsive.
00:08:37.000 I don't know.
00:08:38.000 I mean, I don't know about that.
00:08:39.000 I like it.
00:08:40.000 I like it because when they said that and the comments said that, or however they felt about it, I enjoyed it because then I got to watch God work.
00:08:48.000 I went from being a third wheel on a podcast to, I think, one of the, I think my shows are one of the biggest coming up.
00:08:54.000 And I think I give all the glory to God.
00:08:56.000 So, and so you're a comedian?
00:08:58.000 Yep.
00:08:59.000 I think that's one of the hardest jobs.
00:09:01.000 I think it's the, it's like the most fun, but I understand why people think it's hard.
00:09:05.000 Do you know why?
00:09:06.000 I mean, I perform all the time.
00:09:07.000 Yeah.
00:09:08.000 And by the way, you're good, dude.
00:09:10.000 Oh, you're very superior.
00:09:11.000 No, I'm going to give you a second because you invited me to the town hall thing.
00:09:15.000 Yeah, that was fun, wasn't it?
00:09:16.000 And first of all, I'm going to be talking like Trump right now because he invited me to go meet Trump.
00:09:20.000 I just posted a picture, which you just said.
00:09:22.000 Trump was nice enough to want to take a pic with you and all that.
00:09:24.000 Dude, you were working to get him on your show.
00:09:26.000 By the way, I was taking a picture with him.
00:09:28.000 He slides by.
00:09:29.000 He goes, Mr. President, George Django's show is incredible.
00:09:32.000 And I sat there and I felt like I was on a Disney show.
00:09:34.000 Like, it didn't even feel real.
00:09:35.000 I was like, this is crazy that my show has gotten to this level.
00:09:39.000 But when I was there, I saw you come on stage and no notes, no nothing.
00:09:44.000 You weren't reading from anything, but you were just talking from the heart.
00:09:46.000 And dude, I just got to say, from just a creator from this side of the world, like I am inspired by you by like a lot.
00:09:53.000 The fact that you stand up for what you believe in, you do it in such a great way, the fact that you could get the crowd to get excited about what you're passionate about and the way you do it with such a loving heart.
00:10:04.000 I have so much to take notes from.
00:10:06.000 So I'm excited.
00:10:06.000 That's very good to me.
00:10:08.000 That's easy compared to what you have to do.
00:10:10.000 And I'll tell you why.
00:10:11.000 I'll prove it.
00:10:12.000 I have to be interesting.
00:10:14.000 You have to be funny.
00:10:15.000 Yeah, but that's that.
00:10:16.000 That's a lot.
00:10:17.000 No, hold on.
00:10:18.000 Being funny is a lot more pressure because being interesting is just being not boring.
00:10:24.000 And by the way, I know the audience, but being funny, that's a lot of because you could bomb.
00:10:30.000 Yeah.
00:10:31.000 Have you ever bombed?
00:10:34.000 You know what?
00:10:35.000 Thank God I have it because I think I came from social media where if I'm doing bad, I know that it's fine to do bad.
00:10:41.000 So when I'm on stage and I was doing bad, I would make light of it.
00:10:45.000 So you read the audience really well.
00:10:47.000 I got very good at that.
00:10:48.000 So my talents were understanding people.
00:10:52.000 Even when I was on the show and they would make jokes towards me, I wouldn't just run with it or I turn it into something.
00:10:57.000 So I'm able to work with the crowd.
00:11:00.000 So thank God I haven't had a situation where I like I stress and think about a day that I bombed on stage.
00:11:05.000 No, I haven't.
00:11:07.000 Not like that.
00:11:08.000 But if that day comes, I think that comes with every job, you know.
00:11:11.000 Especially in kind of live performance.
00:11:13.000 That's the only sweating part is because Joe Coy got to mentor me.
00:11:17.000 And I have a show in Arizona, thank God, in two months from now, but it's sold out completely.
00:11:21.000 Are you serious?
00:11:22.000 Yeah.
00:11:22.000 How many tickets?
00:11:23.000 I think it's 55, no, 550 or 600 tickets, I believe.
00:11:28.000 And the first time I did a show, it was like, we couldn't sell the tickets.
00:11:32.000 And this one is sold out two months.
00:11:33.000 But the one thing that Joe taught me, he goes, never sell a ticket unless you're absolutely certain they would buy it again.
00:11:41.000 And so that was the thing that worried me.
00:11:42.000 It's not necessarily like, oh, I got to make sure I'm making them laugh all the time.
00:11:46.000 I just want to, I want them to walk away feeling something.
00:11:49.000 So it's like a podcast stand-up type of thing where I'll make you laugh, but also show you the things that I've learned in life.
00:11:54.000 And the first show that I did, every single person that bought a ticket would wait out like literally a huge line just to give me hugs on the way out.
00:12:02.000 And I told them, I was like, hey, I'm not doing a meet and greet, but I'll hug you guys on the way out.
00:12:06.000 Dude, people waited for hours just to look at me and say, hey, I really love that show.
00:12:09.000 So I was like, okay, cool.
00:12:10.000 I'm onto something.
00:12:11.000 Joe told me that if they do this, then it's good.
00:12:14.000 So we put up another show and it just sold out like instantly.
00:12:17.000 And so are you going across the country?
00:12:19.000 So I was just doing a test to see where I've come because my show's so new.
00:12:22.000 We didn't know exactly where we're going to do it.
00:12:24.000 So we tested a club.
00:12:25.000 We did well.
00:12:26.000 Now we're going to be testing a theater soon.
00:12:31.000 Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here.
00:12:32.000 You think our country has a reliable power grid, but we don't.

00:13:29.000 So let me drill into this here.
00:13:32.000 So the prep, you have a comedy show coming up in Phoenix.
00:13:37.000 So it's a podcast.
00:13:38.000 It's the George Janko show live.
00:13:39.000 So basically, do you have guests or?
00:13:42.000 So I might have a surprise guest, but as of right now, no, I just want to come.
00:13:46.000 Basically, what I want to do is get the audience involved.
00:13:49.000 So the audience will have a mic as well.
00:13:50.000 So if they want to get involved, it's like an improv show, but a podcast.
00:13:54.000 So they'll be able to laugh with them and say, this guy wants to joke around, but and the guy in the third row wants to talk about something serious.
00:14:01.000 So we'll just on.
00:14:02.000 So this is really improv.
00:14:04.000 Yeah.
00:14:04.000 That's even harder.
00:14:06.000 It's my strong suit, though.
00:14:07.000 I feel like it's a little bit more natural.
00:14:09.000 Like, say, if I bomb there, it's less stressful.
00:14:11.000 So I asked this question and I no judgment.
00:14:14.000 Yeah, yeah.
00:14:14.000 Okay.
00:14:15.000 Do you swear?
00:14:16.000 I've been trying to clean my mouth.
00:14:17.000 So like on my podcast, I haven't sworn and that's bled into my real life.
00:14:22.000 I'm not judging.
00:14:23.000 I'm curious because I find that comedians use swearing as fillers to try to make jokes funny when they're not funny.
00:14:29.000 Ironically, it's a great question because when I first started, I realized I would cringe at myself because I overswore from being nervous.
00:14:36.000 Like when you're on stage and you just drop an F-bomb, people just naturally laugh at that.
00:14:40.000 So you'll drop like seven F-bombs in like two seconds and you're like, whoa.
00:14:44.000 But then I would watch the way my mother would cringe.
00:14:46.000 And I'm like, I can't have my mother cringe in my show.
00:14:48.000 So like I started cleaning up my act slowly but surely.
00:14:52.000 But yeah, no, I'm not judging at all.
00:14:54.000 I mean that.
00:14:54.000 No, no, no, I know that.
00:14:55.000 I know that.
00:14:56.000 Because some of the great comedians swear.
00:14:57.000 I just find that in modern comedy, it's become like a filler where you're like, all of a sudden, you're like, and then I said, F you, and everyone laughs.
00:15:05.000 Yeah, especially with that voice.
00:15:06.000 That was great.
00:15:06.000 I really like that.
00:15:07.000 Whatever, right?
00:15:08.000 And you're like, wait, but why is that funny, right?
00:15:11.000 Well, it's everybody.
00:15:12.000 So comedy is different for everybody, everybody's taste.
00:15:14.000 Some people like really, really dark humor.
00:15:16.000 There'll be comedy that me and you will listen to and it will completely disgust us and we wouldn't want anything to do with it.
00:15:21.000 But other people would find that hilarious.
00:15:24.000 And then I just got to find my audience, right?
00:15:27.000 And I thought the most organic way is just to grow myself and then the audience will grow with me.
00:15:32.000 So if I'm cleaning up my mouth in real life, then I'm going to be cleaning up my mouth on stage.
00:15:36.000 No, no, for sure.
00:15:38.000 And again, I'm not live comedy.
00:15:40.000 The idea of having to go up and people voluntarily paid money, pay money, and they say, be funny.
00:15:46.000 Yeah.
00:15:47.000 That's again, I get, I do perform, I've done probably 3,000 speeches across the country, right?
00:15:53.000 Everywhere.
00:15:53.000 The idea of just be interesting, fine.
00:15:57.000 Now, Andrew says, oh, Charlie, you could be funny, but that's not the point.
00:16:00.000 Being funny is different than the pressure of, like, I am here.
00:16:04.000 Okay, funny man, say something.
00:16:06.000 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:16:07.000 I've had a bad day.
00:16:08.000 I got fired.
00:16:09.000 I paid 50 bucks to be here, funny man.
00:16:12.000 It's worse when you go out and people introduce you as that.
00:16:15.000 They're like, oh, this guy's super funny.
00:16:16.000 Oh, no, no, that's the worst.
00:16:17.000 And I'm like, yeah.
00:16:18.000 I don't envy you for that.
00:16:21.000 I mean, I mean that.
00:16:23.000 And so working through that, how do you write your jokes?
00:16:27.000 Just basically, like, I'll see a situation.
00:16:29.000 I'll just tell my point of view on it.
00:16:31.000 It's kind of like podcasting or speaking.
00:16:33.000 I think like the more natural you are at it, and then you have to do timing, right?
00:16:36.000 So like if I'm telling a joke, if you hear somebody who doesn't know how to tell a story, it takes so long.
00:16:42.000 And you're like, bro, get to the point.
00:16:43.000 And so basically, that's what I have to do to myself.
00:16:45.000 I have to just cut up the story and get it there quicker.
00:16:47.000 Yes.
00:16:48.000 You want to get rid of the fat.
00:16:49.000 Also, you have to make it relatable.
00:16:51.000 So if I'm talking about me at the airport, I'm going to talk about the things that I know that me and Charlie deal with.
00:16:56.000 Yes.
00:16:56.000 So when people are sitting there, they feel like, oh, this guy goes exactly.
00:17:00.000 No, that's a deep point because true comedy is rooted in truth.
00:17:03.000 So George, I want to keep going into this here.
00:17:06.000 And by the way, let's put Cut53 up before I forget.
00:17:08.000 This is your picture with President Trump.
00:17:11.000 Yeah.
00:17:11.000 And he might be a guest on the George Jenko show.
00:17:14.000 You know, that picture meant a lot to me.
00:17:16.000 And I really want to say thank you so much for giving me this picture.
00:17:18.000 Oh, no.
00:17:19.000 I mean, it was not.
00:17:20.000 I told the Trump team, I said, hey, we have this.
00:17:22.000 And they said, you mean George Shanko?
00:17:23.000 He's like, I used to watch with Logan Paul.
00:17:24.000 I said, done.
00:17:25.000 So it was easy.
00:17:26.000 Yeah.
00:17:27.000 You're a well-known guy.
00:17:28.000 Thank you.
00:17:28.000 I appreciate that.
00:17:29.000 That picture means a lot because my parents, they came to this country.
00:17:32.000 I'm a first generation.
00:17:34.000 And so being able to work hard enough for the president to acknowledge what I'm doing is something crazy.
00:17:42.000 And I really want to inspire other people to bring their talents to do something for their country because I'm so excited that my parents came to this country.
00:17:48.000 That's so beautiful.
00:17:49.000 I could do anything to help this country out.
00:17:52.000 And the fact that I'm doing that with my platform, it just, it makes my heart really warm.
00:17:56.000 Is that the first member your family who's met a president?
00:17:59.000 Yeah.
00:17:59.000 That's pretty awesome, isn't it?
00:18:00.000 I remember the first time it was president.
00:18:02.000 I didn't meet Obama, obviously.
00:18:03.000 But I knew Trump beforehand.
00:18:06.000 But when he became president, I was like overwhelmed because it was the first person in my whole family to ever meet a president.
00:18:12.000 It's like that's a direct line from George Washington.
00:18:14.000 It's a direct line from Abraham Lincoln.
00:18:16.000 There's only been like 44 of them.
00:18:19.000 I mean, technically 45, but some serve non-consecutive terms.
00:18:22.000 46, yeah.
00:18:23.000 But it's crazy.
00:18:23.000 Like you think you're ready and then you stand up and you're like shake his hand.
00:18:26.000 I blacked out that whole time I was standing next to him.
00:18:28.000 I didn't remember anything.
00:18:29.000 You don't remember anything.
00:18:30.000 I just remember you sliding in and gassing me up and I'm like, yo, this is a dream.
00:18:33.000 But like, it was cool, man.
00:18:35.000 It's, it's.
00:18:36.000 Because it's bigger than Trump.
00:18:37.000 It's the office.
00:18:38.000 Yeah.
00:18:38.000 Well, he's regardless of how you feel about him.
00:18:41.000 He's, he was leading the country.
00:18:42.000 And God willing, maybe he leads the country again.
00:18:44.000 And I could just respect a man that like is doing something for the land that we live in.
00:18:49.000 Amen.
00:18:49.000 You know what I mean?
00:18:49.000 That's Jeremiah 29, 7, right?
00:18:51.000 Demand the peace to the welfare of which you are in, the land of which you are in.
00:18:55.000 So you are getting, you're getting this comedy space.
00:18:58.000 Your show's doing amazingly well.
00:18:59.000 You have nearly 3 million subs on YouTube.
00:19:01.000 Thank you.
00:19:02.000 Yeah.
00:19:02.000 What being in this space and what do you now know and what do you use in your career that you wish you would have known five or six years ago?
00:19:12.000 Fully give everything to the Lord.
00:19:15.000 Everything.
00:19:16.000 Before I used to say that, but not act that.
00:19:19.000 And I think that a lot of our fears dictate what we serve.
00:19:23.000 And so I would be scared.
00:19:24.000 I don't have enough financial freedom.
00:19:26.000 So I worshiped money.
00:19:28.000 I was scared that I wasn't relevant enough.
00:19:30.000 So I worshipped glory.
00:19:32.000 And that came with so much death because everything that I worshiped died.
00:19:37.000 And so when I fully committed every work to Christ, it just, even if I'm here or if I'm here, I'm at peace.
00:19:45.000 That is above my understanding.
00:19:47.000 So I just want to be at peace doing God's will.
00:19:50.000 And I feel like right now I've kind of been riding that wave.
00:19:53.000 I love that.
00:19:54.000 And so for people that say they just want to be famous and they want to be, what is your, what is your, not advice, but just what wisdom do you have for a young person where they want to be famous more above anything I want to be an influencer?
00:20:06.000 I don't think it's bad that you want to be famous, but find her a better purpose of why you want to be famous.
00:20:11.000 If you just want it just for people to dap you up and feel like you're cool, then you're just, trust me, that's more hell than it is heaven.
00:20:19.000 If you want to do something to be famous so you could help your family or a POV, like for example, you're standing around and you're educating people, young people, then there's a reason to be famous.
00:20:29.000 And don't run away from it because a lot of people feel ashamed.
00:20:32.000 Like, oh, like, I shouldn't feel that way.
00:20:33.000 But if you feel in your heart that you want to be noticed for something you're doing, then work very hard.
00:20:40.000 How did you become a serious Christian?
00:20:42.000 Was there a moment where you were because you were raised Christian.
00:20:46.000 Yeah.
00:20:46.000 So you've always known Christ.
00:20:48.000 Yes.
00:20:49.000 But when did you really make it?
00:20:50.000 And what happened that made you make it a priority?
00:20:53.000 Absolutely.
00:20:53.000 That's an easy question.
00:20:55.000 And, you know, it's so funny.
00:20:56.000 I knew you were going to ask me that, and I wanted to make sure that I say it in a proper way.
00:21:00.000 And it was easy enough as this.
00:21:02.000 When I grew up in that home, I was poured by my mother with that Holy Spirit, right?
00:21:06.000 So like when you feel that Holy Spirit, especially with people you love, you feel alive.
00:21:11.000 You feel like you could run through walls.
00:21:13.000 You feel like any mountain could move as soon as you tell it to move.
00:21:16.000 And then when I came out on my own and I was with my peers that are sadly, maybe they're godless or they don't know who God is.
00:21:23.000 I felt their energy and their energy was death.
00:21:25.000 And that came, I became who I was around.
00:21:27.000 I'm a sheep, right?
00:21:29.000 So I became what I was around and I felt every day that I was dying.
00:21:33.000 And when I was at the very, very top of my life and my career and everybody was congratulating me, I was shocked that I felt the worst I've ever felt in my life.
00:21:42.000 And then so I gave it all up.
00:21:43.000 I gave it all to God.
00:21:44.000 And then I thought it was going to put me away from the industry.
00:21:48.000 But he had other plans for me.
00:21:51.000 And I became way more successful than I was when I was just chasing it on my own.
00:21:55.000 And for his purpose, your podcast and YouTube channel is one of the most just plainly, outspokenly Christian platforms out there.
00:22:03.000 It wasn't made.
00:22:04.000 Dude, it's so funny because when people say that, I got nervous because I was like, whoa, whoa, whoa, I don't want to push people away from like the show.
00:22:10.000 But I mean, if you're in any field, you kind of just speak about what you believe in and what you have faith in.
00:22:16.000 Well, not everyone does, though, George.
00:22:17.000 I have to interrupt.
00:22:18.000 Some people are fake or they'll have a belief and they're afraid to say it.
00:22:22.000 Because, I mean, being a Christian in today's culture comes at a price.
00:22:26.000 Yeah, but I believe that whatever you practice, you have faith in.
00:22:28.000 So even if you practice something you don't believe in, you still worship it.
00:22:32.000 So if you're say you're fake behind scenes, but you still act a certain way, well then, my friend, you are that regardless.
00:22:38.000 No, that's true.
00:22:38.000 Yeah.
00:22:39.000 So become how you act.
00:22:40.000 So I just would have open conversations like this and have it be real.
00:22:44.000 And so when people ask me about my problems or how I solve it or what I deal with it, everything is rooted to me from like Christ.
00:22:49.000 So I have to speak about it.
00:22:51.000 If I don't, then I feel like I'm denying where I'm actually getting my source from.
00:22:54.000 Amen.
00:22:55.000 And so your platform is growing and you have, you've had all sorts of different types of guests.
00:23:03.000 The Cliff Connectal, is that how you say it?
00:23:07.000 Yeah.
00:23:07.000 Tell us about that interview and your relationship with him.
00:23:10.000 You say he saved your life.
00:23:12.000 Yeah, yeah.
00:23:12.000 Which is so funny because me and him both say that Jesus did.
00:23:15.000 And when I see comments, I'm like, no, I agree, but I just said that in that moment.
00:23:19.000 So Cliff was one of my favorite guests that I have on my podcast.
00:23:23.000 I would see him on TikTok and he would just go to schools and kind of like how you do, but from the politics standpoint, he would just do it for his views on faith.
00:23:31.000 And I loved it because he was such a peaceful man.
00:23:34.000 And my favorite part about him is when I was with him, I know it sounds really cheesy, but I felt like he brought heaven wherever he went.
00:23:40.000 Like when I was with him, I just felt so much more at peace.
00:23:42.000 I felt so calm.
00:23:44.000 Like nothing stressed me out.
00:23:45.000 And he was able to like educate me on my way out of anxiety or depression.
00:23:50.000 And so when I learned that from him and I was like, man, you have to come on my show because what you're doing for me, you could do for so many others.
00:23:57.000 And when he did do that, just like kind of you, I grew a friend.
00:24:01.000 And so it's cool.
00:24:02.000 Like God put me in a place where I have a strong platform, but I'm also making great allies, great allies.
00:24:08.000 And he's an, you would say, an apologist, right?
00:24:10.000 Meaning he goes and he contests for the truth in the public arena.
00:24:14.000 I don't know exactly what his title is, but he just debates in such a profound way.
00:24:19.000 Like the way he does it, I'm just kind of like, I don't even, I wouldn't be able to have those like ways of doing it.
00:24:24.000 And, you know, I read a Bible verse where it says that God will give you a mouth when he needs you to speak about something.
00:24:30.000 And I just feel like that man's just walking around with the Holy Spirit in his mouth.
00:24:34.000 For people that are thinking about becoming Christians or bringing Christ into their life, what is your message to them?
00:24:44.000 Have the best time of your life.
00:24:46.000 There's nothing greater than that.
00:24:47.000 There's literally nothing greater than that.
00:24:48.000 I would trade every single thing, including my loved ones.
00:24:51.000 Like there's not one thing or not one person that I love more than my relationship with Christ.
00:24:57.000 It's untradeable.
00:24:58.000 You have to kill me before I stop doing that.
00:25:00.000 It is my whole life.
00:25:01.000 So enjoy, like, and go into it with an open mind and an open heart for sure.
00:25:07.000 Yeah.
00:25:07.000 And have you seen yourself, your walk deepen the more you study and the more you walk with Christ?
00:25:14.000 Yeah, I think a lot of people get worried because they feel like they have to be perfect to go hang out with him.
00:25:19.000 And that's so, so, so far from the truth.
00:25:22.000 I think that's the best thing the devil tries to get you to do is like, wait, you want to go stand before God?
00:25:29.000 And you're like, well, yeah.
00:25:30.000 But when you walk with God as a filthy man, I'll use myself as an example.
00:25:34.000 I was so, so, so out of touch with where I needed to be.
00:25:38.000 Was this recently?
00:25:40.000 When I was lost, and I said a prayer, I said, Lord, take my feet where you want them to be, not where I want them to be.
00:25:45.000 And sometimes you get so scared asking for that because you don't want to lose the things that you love.
00:25:49.000 Or sometimes you get scared, but I would toss everything that I love just to have five minutes to have that Holy Spirit with me.
00:25:56.000 It's incredible.
00:25:57.000 When you speak, okay, let me give you the last thing I'll say is this.
00:26:01.000 The word became flesh.
00:26:03.000 Yeah, John 1.
00:26:04.000 And I believe that when you read the word, you really have that relationship with Christ.
00:26:09.000 So if you pray, ask God to open up your eyes and ears to him and search for him like hidden treasure because it's the greatest treasure on this earth.
00:26:17.000 Amen.
00:26:18.000 There's nothing better than it.
00:26:22.000 Hey, everybody, big tech, big government, and the progressives have done everything they can to silence truth and sanity.
00:26:27.000 But there's a secret weapon out there that they can't touch.
00:26:30.000 One year ago, a new digital streaming platform, the Real Life Network, was launched to provide a desperate world with much needed programming free from the overreach and interference of government and media.
00:26:40.000 The explosive growth that they've seen speaks for itself.
00:26:43.000 In one short year, more than 100 programmers have jumped on board to provide content from podcasts and interviews to sermons and conferences to kids' shows and feature-length films.
00:26:51.000 I'm proud to be among them.
00:26:52.000 You can find the Charlie Kirk show in several of my interviews on Real Life Network.
00:26:56.000 And get this, over 30 billion minutes of programs that are free from the influence of secular agendas have been viewed.

00:27:19.000 Wonderful project.
00:27:20.000 I love it.
00:27:20.000 Reallife Network.com.
00:27:25.000 So, George, you have a significant younger generation that listens to you, Generation Z millennials.
00:27:33.000 They're the most depressed, suicidal, alcohol-addicted, drug-addicted generation in history.
00:27:37.000 Why do you think that is?
00:27:41.000 I don't know.
00:27:41.000 I was thinking about this the other day.
00:27:43.000 In the beginning, when Adam and Eve kind of took from that fruit and they ate it, they were overwhelmed by wisdom and it kind of destroyed them.
00:27:51.000 And I think that now we have that in our own hands.
00:27:54.000 So when we try to like doctor ourselves or help ourselves and we're just going online and we're just looking at feeds, I think it's destroying people's like POV of their own life.
00:28:05.000 And so I think it's really hard, especially for a young man or a young woman to like try to grow and learn who they are and they're confused and they have millions of people pouring into who they should be.
00:28:17.000 If I had that growing up, I would also be lost.
00:28:20.000 So as a grown man, it affects me.
00:28:23.000 So I just would think that hopefully in the future with moderation, they'll learn how to put their phones away, maybe pick up their Bible or spend time with their family, be in the real world.
00:28:33.000 I think that would help them.
00:28:34.000 I think they're anxious because they just have a lot to look at and they feel like they're having FOMO and they don't.
00:28:41.000 I feel like that might be it, but I could be completely wrong.
00:28:44.000 Do you think that as America has become more secular away from God, that's played a big role?
00:28:50.000 Of course.
00:28:51.000 I mean, if you take light out of the room, it becomes dark.
00:28:54.000 And if you take life out of something, it becomes dead.
00:28:57.000 And so I feel like this generation is going to make a comeback, though.
00:29:01.000 I'm not going to lie.
00:29:02.000 I do feel it in my heart.
00:29:03.000 I'm seeing these young kids just like being so hungry for God that I think it's going to make a huge swing back.
00:29:09.000 There was this verse in the Bible where the disciples are like very, very confused why Jesus was even hanging out with a prostitute.
00:29:17.000 And yet she was like washing his feet, anointing his feet, and she was sobbing and using her hair to wash his feet.
00:29:24.000 And he turns to his disciples and he goes, look how much heart she has for me because she's so far away from me.
00:29:29.000 And so I think that, yeah, we are far away, but I think that that hunger could be a roaring hunger that could push us way back to Christ.
00:29:37.000 There's a debate right now in certain Christian circles as to the most effective way to win over young people.
00:29:44.000 And everyone has different opinions.
00:29:46.000 Do you think that we should, let's say, let's give an example.
00:29:51.000 The homosexual issue or the trans issue, they say majority of young people are cool with that stuff.
00:29:56.000 Therefore, we should meet them where they're at and we should be careful how we communicate biblical truths.
00:30:02.000 Another camp will say, no, the truth is the truth.
00:30:05.000 You must let it be free.
00:30:07.000 You shouldn't be cruel in your presentation, but you shouldn't water anything down.
00:30:10.000 Where do you fall on that debate?
00:30:12.000 I just say, do it exactly how Jesus did.
00:30:14.000 He never backed down from the truth, but he also did it in such a loving way with compassion.
00:30:19.000 I think if you're doing it with hatred in your heart, then how could they ever believe in you or trust you?
00:30:23.000 And we don't know what their homes were like.
00:30:25.000 And also, I deal with sexual sin in my own world.
00:30:28.000 So for me to point my finger at somebody else is too harsh.
00:30:31.000 So what I would do is one, I think the most important way for us to show who Jesus is is act like Jesus.
00:30:37.000 And the best way to preach is by your actions.
00:30:40.000 And if it's, if it's needed, use words.
00:30:44.000 And so, by the way, our team is tracking.
00:30:46.000 Your Trump photo now has 65,000 likes in one hour.
00:30:49.000 Wow, let's go.
00:30:50.000 That's a lot.
00:30:51.000 Let's go, Trump.
00:30:52.000 That's 65,000.
00:30:53.000 It's pretty impressive.
00:30:55.000 So this generation needs Jesus.
00:30:58.000 I mean, everyone needs Jesus.
00:30:59.000 And so let's talk about your personal life.
00:31:01.000 You're now engaged.
00:31:02.000 Congrats.
00:31:02.000 Thank you.
00:31:03.000 So tell us about that.
00:31:05.000 Dude, it was the greatest, greatest gift that God could ever give me.
00:31:08.000 And Proverbs explains that.
00:31:10.000 But when I met her, I wasn't where I was.
00:31:13.000 Like spiritually, financially, physically, emotionally.
00:31:17.000 Like I was just this young kid bouncing around like, oh, maybe I'll date this girl.
00:31:21.000 Maybe I'll not.
00:31:22.000 And when I met her like fully, like we were taking it seriously, I was like, oh, I have to provide.
00:31:28.000 And that providing scared me.
00:31:31.000 And I feel like sometimes fear could push you in a great direction.
00:31:34.000 I mean, wisdom comes from fearing the Lord.
00:31:36.000 So when I feared that I could fail her, it pushed me towards the Lord.
00:31:39.000 I'm like, all right, God, like, how do if I'm going to actually have a family and I can't just be doing these social media things up and down, up and down, up and down.
00:31:46.000 So, like, I want you to take my career.
00:31:49.000 And then from there, he shaped me as a character.
00:31:52.000 So, God presented her to me, but I knew I wasn't ready yet.
00:31:56.000 So, I presented myself in front of the Lord and He made me a man who's ready, if that makes any sense.
00:32:01.000 Yes, of course.
00:32:02.000 And so, the wedding will be soon?
00:32:05.000 Yeah, you know, it's so funny because you pushed us on it.
00:32:06.000 You're like, you don't have a date.
00:32:08.000 And I actually unapologetically pushed.
00:32:09.000 Thank you, sir.
00:32:10.000 Yes, of course.
00:32:11.000 She was a little more of the waiver.
00:32:12.000 It was you were like the most enthusiastic for it.
00:32:15.000 She was like, she gets so nervous that she feels that people are like, oh, she doesn't want to get married.
00:32:19.000 She gets so nervous about that.
00:32:21.000 She's very sweet, by the way.
00:32:23.000 Our show is so brand new.
00:32:24.000 Yes.
00:32:25.000 When I proposed to her, my show wasn't even anywhere where it was now.
00:32:28.000 And so it just skyrockets.
00:32:29.000 So we were working, we're working, we're working.
00:32:31.000 But that doesn't negate the fact that I got to go and make sure that it's finished and done.
00:32:36.000 It's not just something to get done.
00:32:37.000 It's something to celebrate.
00:32:39.000 No, 100%.
00:32:39.000 But I feel like I'm living in sin until I get it done.
00:32:41.000 So in my mind, I'm like, no, there's a lot of truth to that.
00:32:44.000 Yeah.
00:32:45.000 There's a lot of truth to that.
00:32:46.000 Yes.
00:32:47.000 So it will hopefully be soon?
00:32:48.000 Very soon.
00:32:49.000 Yeah, it's the best.
00:32:51.000 The covenant and you enter a whole new thing.
00:32:54.000 And just so everyone understands, is that there is a profound difference between not being married and being married.
00:33:01.000 The relationships are completely different.
00:33:04.000 You become one.
00:33:04.000 Yes, you do.
00:33:05.000 And everything is then looked into the context as this is a permanent covenant.
00:33:10.000 Oh, I mean, I became so much better when she just walked in.
00:33:13.000 I couldn't imagine when God blesses the marriage.
00:33:15.000 And then with children, God willing.
00:33:17.000 Right?
00:33:17.000 God willing.
00:33:18.000 And you know, it's so funny before, I'm like, nah.
00:33:20.000 But now I'm like, wow, I would love that.
00:33:21.000 That would be such a, it's so funny because like even myself as a Christian man, the world kind of makes you feel like you shouldn't have kids.
00:33:27.000 And you're like, oh, just go have fun, take care of yourself.
00:33:30.000 But then like, it's so lonely.
00:33:31.000 Yeah.
00:33:32.000 So what do you look at your reaction?
00:33:34.000 There is this TikTok trend of dinks.
00:33:37.000 Do you know what dinks are?
00:33:38.000 Dual income, no kids.
00:33:38.000 No.
00:33:43.000 You could do a whole thing on this.
00:33:44.000 You could do a whole comedy routine.
00:33:46.000 So a dink is someone who is married and they say, we don't want to have children.
00:33:50.000 We like traveling.
00:33:51.000 Yeah.
00:33:52.000 What is your biblical reaction to that?
00:33:56.000 My biblical reaction is: I think that if it's in the heart of somebody who maybe can't have a child, like that's sad.
00:34:02.000 No, no, no.
00:34:03.000 This is not it.
00:34:03.000 Oh, they just.
00:34:04.000 Trust me.
00:34:04.000 No, no.
00:34:04.000 I have a heart for the baron.
00:34:06.000 So does God, by the way, repeat it.
00:34:06.000 Yeah.
00:34:07.000 And I say, I'm talking about, so there's other, there's also dink wads, dual income, no kids with a dog.
00:34:15.000 That's me, actually.
00:34:16.000 I have a dog.
00:34:17.000 No, I know, but you're not married.
00:34:19.000 I'm just messing with you.
00:34:20.000 Dogs are great.
00:34:20.000 But let's, what does it say for a generation that says, I don't want to do the hard thing, such as have children?
00:34:27.000 All right, easy.
00:34:29.000 If you are moving in a way that maybe doesn't please God, and this is going to be hard for people to like swallow because it's a very strong statement.
00:34:37.000 But anything you do that doesn't please God is not going to please you because you were designed to worship and obey him.
00:34:43.000 So if you're moving in a way that like, oh, I don't want kids because if it's a prideful, like, no, I want this and that, you're robbing yourself.
00:34:49.000 The same way that that young man did drugs at a young age because he thought it was cool.
00:34:53.000 In that time, he thought it was right.
00:34:55.000 But later on, it caught up to him and it destroyed him.
00:34:58.000 So if you're thinking about yourself now in a selfish way, it will catch up to you, especially when you're older and you're getting a little bit more lonely and you have no seeds that are going to come and take care of you.
00:35:09.000 I want children not just to take care of me when I'm old, but that is a very, very big thing to have.
00:35:13.000 When you're old and you look at your children's children and they're all, there's like a, that is the biggest blessing in anything.
00:35:19.000 And you're multiplication.
00:35:20.000 That's why God says, be fruitful and go multiply.
00:35:20.000 You're robbing yourself.
00:35:23.000 It's not because he's like, I need more because he could just take dirt and make more.
00:35:29.000 Of course.
00:35:29.000 He's doing it for you.
00:35:30.000 It's going to be really, really, really special.
00:35:32.000 So, you know, I just pray for them.
00:35:34.000 I pray that their eyes open.
00:35:35.000 And maybe they need to get out of the system because when you do have kids, you have to give up your life for them.
00:35:39.000 You can't just go ahead.
00:35:40.000 No, that's you die to yourself.
00:35:42.000 Yeah, so go have fun, but then make sure you come back and plant your roots.
00:35:46.000 It is the death of narcissism when you have children.
00:35:50.000 Yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure.
00:35:51.000 For sure.
00:35:52.000 You'll learn one day.
00:35:52.000 You'll see.
00:35:53.000 How many kids you have?
00:35:54.000 Two under two.
00:35:55.000 And you just had one in May.
00:35:56.000 Yeah, so we have two under the age of two.
00:35:59.000 Helps.
00:35:59.000 You got a special prize for that, I'm told.
00:36:01.000 Is it true the terrible twos?
00:36:02.000 Is that a true thing?
00:36:04.000 So we're under two.
00:36:04.000 Well, we're not there yet.
00:36:05.000 Oh, I thought you said, okay, got you.
00:36:07.000 So the whole thing is if you have two kids under two, it's complete mayhem.
00:36:11.000 Yeah, just wait until both of them turn two, and then we'll circle back.
00:36:13.000 Yeah.
00:36:13.000 And you're going to be like, I wish I was a dink doink or whatever.
00:36:16.000 No, a dink wad.
00:36:17.000 Yeah.
00:36:18.000 A wad dink or whatever they call it.
00:36:21.000 So the culture is moving very quickly in this secular direction.
00:36:27.000 But I agree.
00:36:28.000 I think there is a movement back.
00:36:30.000 It requires courageous truth tellers and people that are willing to say what is right and good and true and beautiful in God's eyes.
00:36:38.000 You have made a decision where you say, I'm going to speak openly about Christianity.
00:36:45.000 I'm going to post a picture of Trump.
00:36:47.000 I just don't care.
00:36:48.000 And you do have stuff to lose and something to lose, but you seem to not really care about that.
00:36:53.000 Why?
00:36:54.000 You know, I changed my attitude.
00:36:55.000 I used to say, I don't care.
00:36:56.000 I don't care.
00:36:57.000 It's just to kind of like have my chest out and not have people like kind of persuade me into things.
00:37:02.000 But the truth is, I do care.
00:37:03.000 I care so much that if this destroys my career, but I know that's something that God wants me to do, then the whole world could turn against me.
00:37:10.000 But if God has favor for me, then it's like, good luck, buddy.
00:37:13.000 Like, I have the confidence in my Lord.
00:37:13.000 You know what I mean?
00:37:16.000 So I don't really worry.
00:37:17.000 If I know that I'm walking the way that God wants me to walk, I don't have the fear of it.
00:37:22.000 I've had the ups and downs in my career where I've had a career, then I've lost a career, and then I've had a career and I lost a career.
00:37:27.000 And throughout that, the only joy I had is with Christ.
00:37:30.000 So if I could, like, think about it, if you could go save a human being right now, would you not?
00:37:34.000 If somebody was choking, you'd save it.
00:37:36.000 Yeah, I believe you're biblically commanded to do that.
00:37:36.000 You'd have to.
00:37:38.000 So if I know that I could sell you a program on why I'm happy, 10 steps.
00:37:43.000 Yeah, there's no 10 steps.
00:37:44.000 It's one step.
00:37:45.000 Humble yourself in the eyes of God.
00:37:47.000 And then everything else will follow.
00:37:49.000 So, yeah, of course I'm going to talk about it.
00:37:51.000 Because my goal isn't to get to heaven with all my riches.
00:37:54.000 My goal is to look at God and say, look what you used me as.
00:37:57.000 I was one of your favorite tools.
00:37:59.000 And that would please me enough.
00:38:00.000 Amen.

00:38:59.000 So what is your, I got two questions left that I want to ask.
00:39:02.000 We can go anywhere.
00:39:03.000 What is your favorite book of the Bible or part of the Bible that has really impacted your life?
00:39:06.000 Or what are you currently studying?
00:39:07.000 What in the word is speaking to you right now?
00:39:09.000 Easy.
00:39:10.000 Proverbs.
00:39:11.000 I think when I was broken and I didn't know how to behave, I just one day was just asking God.
00:39:16.000 I was like, I got to read.
00:39:17.000 Where do I start?
00:39:18.000 It gets overwhelming.
00:39:20.000 When I was really taking Bible seriously, because before I just read a passage, like I get a notification, I'll just read that Bible verse.
00:39:27.000 And like, that wasn't enough.
00:39:29.000 And so when I really took it seriously, I dove into Proverbs.
00:39:32.000 And man, if you read my Bible, it's just soaking wet.
00:39:35.000 It's like dry tears on it.
00:39:37.000 Just because I would read it and I felt like when I was lost and I was confused, it was like my God who created the whole universe was speaking directly to my heart.
00:39:47.000 I just, it was so overwhelming and I felt so not alone and I felt so safe and so protected and so loved.
00:39:57.000 It grew my like addiction to his word.
00:40:00.000 And so if you're lost and you don't know where to start, read Proverbs because it's just a king who asks God for wisdom.
00:40:06.000 And it is just.
00:40:08.000 And God gives it generously.
00:40:09.000 So it's a detour.
00:40:11.000 I'm really bothered by all the I understand the exceptions, but people that read their Bibles on their phones.
00:40:17.000 Yeah.
00:40:18.000 Because of what you said, you have like a tactile relationship.
00:40:22.000 It has been with you throughout all of your journeys, throughout all of your suffering, where it's only that, where, you know, people that read on their phone, they all this, your phone is used for other things as well.
00:40:34.000 It distracts you.
00:40:36.000 And so are you a big physical Bible guy?
00:40:38.000 Yeah, 100%.
00:40:39.000 100%.
00:40:39.000 I have, I just carry three things with me at all times.
00:40:42.000 My Bible, my journal, and my pencil.
00:40:44.000 So you're always journaling?
00:40:47.000 I'm a huge journaler, by the way.
00:40:48.000 It changed hundreds of these.
00:40:50.000 Because you know why?
00:40:50.000 When you're anxious and you think about a lot of things and you have to put it down on a piece of paper, it makes you reflect what's more important.
00:40:56.000 And so you could really kind of just walk through your feelings.
00:41:00.000 I really, I know a lot of people have a therapist, but when I went through it, instead of getting a therapist, I was like, I'm going to journal.
00:41:07.000 When you went through a mental battle, like I went through like a lot of anxiety and depression, which is really funny because throughout life, I never had that.
00:41:14.000 How old were you when that happened?
00:41:16.000 When I was doing impulsive, that's when you were.
00:41:19.000 Yeah, when I was at the top of my career, at the time, top of my career.
00:41:22.000 Yeah, it was, I basically went through a whole lot.
00:41:24.000 And by the way, I had a weird life growing up.
00:41:26.000 I was bullied so hard they changed me out of schools.
00:41:28.000 I couldn't graduate from the school that I was going to.
00:41:31.000 When I was chasing things, there was a lot of drama that I dealt with, but I flew by them like it was meaningless.
00:41:36.000 Like it was so much fun.
00:41:37.000 It didn't bother me.
00:41:39.000 But when I went through turbulence, I think that was the best thing that could ever happen to me because now I'm able to explain to people how to get out of it.
00:41:48.000 I had to go through it.
00:41:49.000 Why do you think at the top you had the anxiety and depression?
00:41:52.000 Why do you think that was?
00:41:53.000 Because I was too busy for God.
00:41:54.000 That's a good answer.
00:41:55.000 Yeah.
00:41:56.000 So, George, how can people support you, follow you, all the platforms?
00:42:01.000 You know, just pray for me.
00:42:03.000 I think the rest will come.
00:42:05.000 I don't need you to subscribe or like or do any of that.
00:42:09.000 If you're home, just pray for me and God will do the rest.
00:42:12.000 So final, everybody in a craft looks up to somebody and they'll say that is the best.
00:42:19.000 So what comedians in your craft do you consume most?
00:42:24.000 For example, I listen to Dennis Prager, Tucker Carlson, Rush Limbaugh.
00:42:28.000 Yeah.
00:42:29.000 Like those are my three where I just consume it and I want to be as good as they were.
00:42:35.000 Love Tucker.
00:42:35.000 Great.
00:42:37.000 I believe in mentors.
00:42:39.000 So like if you find somebody you're like really like.
00:42:41.000 So who would be your mentor?
00:42:42.000 I have one right now.
00:42:43.000 His name's Joe Coy.
00:42:44.000 No, he's like number one on Netflix right now.
00:42:45.000 He's the best.
00:42:46.000 He's a huge deal.
00:42:47.000 Eddie Murphy's great.
00:42:48.000 Do you know Eddie?
00:42:49.000 I don't know him personally.
00:42:51.000 I loved Chris DeLia.
00:42:53.000 Chris DeLia is crushing it.
00:42:56.000 Man, like there, obviously we have like the greats, but as of right now, when I just zone in on how I want to do storytelling, Joe Coi just taught me so much.
00:43:05.000 So what is your, I've never listened, but I listened to your show, but not the comedy.
00:43:08.000 What is your style of comedy?
00:43:10.000 Is it more stories?
00:43:11.000 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:43:11.000 Did you notice this?
00:43:12.000 Did you notice that?
00:43:14.000 Basically, like I did this when I was growing up and I just brought it to the stage.
00:43:17.000 If I wanted to kind of educate you on my point of view, like even if it's gospel related or if it's like about work or trying to motivate you, I always did it in a funny way.
00:43:26.000 So I just kind of tell stories that I learn from, like learning arcs that is just my POV, like from being raised by my parents and just making it funny.
00:43:34.000 Or like how I deal with my podcast and guests, but I'll just make it funny.
00:43:39.000 So it's like, I'm basically what I want to do is I want to take everything that I was blessed to learn that God kind of put me through and be able to do that in a funny way.
00:43:47.000 It's like it's easier to swallow when you could laugh.
00:43:49.000 For sure.
00:43:50.000 Yeah, and so the comics that you admire.
00:43:55.000 Eddie Murphy, do they also have that?
00:43:57.000 They have the ability to tell us.
00:43:58.000 Does Jerry Murphy do stand-up comedy too?
00:44:00.000 Eddie Murphy does stand-up comedy.
00:44:02.000 Oh my God.
00:44:02.000 I don't know.
00:44:03.000 I've only seen him in movies.
00:44:04.000 No, you have to go watch.
00:44:05.000 Is that right?
00:44:06.000 He's the greatest.
00:44:06.000 Did he still do it?
00:44:07.000 He's the greatest of all time.
00:44:09.000 He still does it.
00:44:10.000 I don't think he does it anymore.
00:44:12.000 Okay, so it was a little old.
00:44:13.000 This is not my world.
00:44:14.000 Yeah, he's wearing a red jumpsuit.
00:44:17.000 He was like 20 or like 20.
00:44:18.000 No, he was like younger than 20.
00:44:20.000 You would put him as one of the best ever.
00:44:21.000 No, no, no.
00:44:22.000 He is the best ever.
00:44:23.000 Better than Chris Rock, better than Jerry.
00:44:24.000 He destroys everybody.
00:44:25.000 No, no, no.
00:44:25.000 Jerry Seinfeld is nowhere near him.
00:44:28.000 And I don't care if I get cooked for that.
00:44:29.000 Jerry Seinfeld is like, good job.
00:44:30.000 You had a great show.
00:44:31.000 But like, stand-up, no shot, bro.
00:44:33.000 No shot.
00:44:34.000 What about it was so...
00:44:36.000 He's the best.
00:44:37.000 Like, if you watch him and then just, dude, do you like, like, watch me and then watch him, you'll be like, well, George, why are you even doing stand-up?
00:44:43.000 Like, there's no comparison.
00:44:44.000 Like, he is the greatest.
00:44:46.000 If you were to say, just for our audience, what about him was he was the Michael Jordan of comedy, according to you.
00:44:50.000 He was the Michael Jordan and the Michael Jackson, all in one.
00:44:53.000 Like, he's, he's like...
00:44:54.000 What about it, if you were to say, it's just...
00:44:56.000 Dude, when he went on stage and the way he performed, the way he told a story, the way he got you engaged, the way he could improv in that moment, he could grab a microphone with no material probably and outshine and outperform any man on stage.
00:45:11.000 His way of talking and the way he like works.
00:45:13.000 And you think no one's ever come close to that?
00:45:15.000 I think Dave Chappelle is great because he's not only fighting back to the nonsense, which I love.
00:45:22.000 He's standing on his business.
00:45:23.000 I don't think Eddie Murphy had to deal with that.
00:45:25.000 So Dave Chappelle is not only doing it at the same level, but he's doing it for where people could learn from.
00:45:30.000 And also he's paving a way.
00:45:32.000 We wouldn't be able to speak that brave if it wasn't for Dave Chappelle getting canceled every two seconds.
00:45:37.000 So I feel like that kind of gives him his own lane.
00:45:39.000 But Eddie Murphy is like, dude, just like, dude, it's hard to explain.
00:45:43.000 But if you're not going to be able to do it, I feel as if there hasn't been a lot of Eddie Murphy in the last like 10 years.
00:45:47.000 It's just he's kind of gone.
00:45:49.000 So check about this.
00:45:50.000 So he's been, he hasn't done it in years, right?
00:45:52.000 Yeah, yeah, years, years, years, years.
00:45:52.000 Stand-up you.
00:45:54.000 But still, if you play his and anybody new, he destroys them.
00:45:58.000 I mean, there's still like up-and-coming greats like Shane Gillis.
00:46:01.000 I think he's amazing.
00:46:03.000 Beautiful dogs.
00:46:03.000 Yeah, I'm told.
00:46:04.000 Yeah, I don't watch a lot of comedy.
00:46:06.000 You have to.
00:46:06.000 It's too much swearing for me.
00:46:10.000 See that?
00:46:10.000 That's called the comedic beat because I just stared at you.
00:46:13.000 I heard somebody laughing like that.
00:46:14.000 That's good.
00:46:15.000 Yeah, I don't know.
00:46:16.000 Hang out with people that swear.
00:46:18.000 I know it annoys you, but you can kind of press through it.
00:46:21.000 I do press through.
00:46:22.000 Again, I can.
00:46:23.000 I have a very...
00:46:24.000 I've seen clips of Shane Gillis.
00:46:25.000 I think it's hilarious.
00:46:27.000 I think it's fine if it's generally funny, but when it's just filler, like...
00:46:31.000 No, his is funny.
00:46:32.000 Okay, no, that's funny.
00:46:33.000 It is very dirty.
00:46:33.000 His is funny.
00:46:35.000 It is very, very dirty.
00:46:36.000 That's why I like Seinfeld.
00:46:36.000 I'm not a big fan of dirt.
00:46:38.000 You love Trump, right?
00:46:39.000 Yes.
00:46:40.000 Just go watch his Trump bit.
00:46:41.000 I think you would enjoy it.
00:46:42.000 Yeah, just watch it by clips, man.
00:46:45.000 You're in a great business.
00:46:45.000 You know that they say stand-up comedy is one of the fastest-growing sectors.
00:46:50.000 I didn't even think of it.
00:46:50.000 That's crazy.
00:46:51.000 As far as ticketing and it's just exploding.
00:46:54.000 Yeah, it's live ticket sales in the country.
00:46:57.000 So I thought money came from social media and performing, but live performances is like a whole different level.
00:47:03.000 Gotta go.
00:47:04.000 George Janko, thanks, Momentum.
00:47:05.000 It was a pleasure.
00:47:05.000 That was really great.
00:47:06.000 Check out all the social media and pray for him.
