00:00:03.000 My name is Charlie Kirk.
00:00:05.000 I run the largest pro-American student organization in the country fighting for the future of our republic.
00:00:11.000 My call is to fight evil and to proclaim truth.
00:00:14.000 If the most important thing for you is just feeling good, you're going to end up miserable.
00:00:19.000 But if the most important thing is doing good, you'll end up purposeful.
00:00:24.000 College is a scam, everybody.
00:00:26.000 You got to stop sending your kids to college.
00:00:27.000 You should get married as young as possible and have as many kids as possible.
00:00:31.000 Go start a Turning Point USA college chapter.
00:00:33.000 Go start a Turning Point USA high school chapter.
00:00:35.000 Go find out how your church can get involved.
00:00:37.000 Sign up and become an activist.
00:00:39.000 I gave my life to the Lord in fifth grade.
00:00:41.000 Most important decision I ever made in my life.
00:00:43.000 And I encourage you to do the same.
00:00:45.000 Here I am.
00:00:46.000 Lord Museman.
00:00:48.000 Buckle up, everybody.
00:00:49.000 Here we go.
00:00:56.000 The Charlie Kirk Show is proudly sponsored by Preserve Gold, the leading gold and silver experts and the only precious metals company I recommend to my family, friends, and viewers.
00:01:09.000 Hello, welcome to a lovely Wednesday on the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:01:13.000 I am Blake Neff.
00:01:15.000 I'm also here with Danny Phillip, one of our friends here on the show.
00:01:19.000 We have a lot coming ahead today.
00:01:21.000 We're really, we're in the final week before the Virginia and New Jersey elections, which people have wanted us to be rallying the troops for that.
00:01:30.000 We're going to rally the troops for that.
00:01:31.000 We'll be having Cliff Maloney on later on.
00:01:34.000 And we'll also be having Dr. Larry Arne to talk about Charlie's views on education, which were very different, but very rewarding, very positive.
00:01:43.000 And we also want to look ahead to our event tonight.
00:01:46.000 We have probably the biggest event in our turning point tour this fall.
00:01:50.000 It's going on tonight in Ole Miss in Oxford, Mississippi.
00:01:54.000 Erica's going to be there.
00:01:55.000 The vice president is going to be there, JD Vance.
00:01:59.000 I think a lot of the team is out there.
00:02:01.000 Andrew's there.
00:02:02.000 That's why I'm in this chair.
00:02:03.000 I think Mikey's going to be out there.
00:02:05.000 Basically, they sent all of our top talent over there and they left us to hold down the fort.
00:02:10.000 But we're going to do our best here.
00:02:12.000 That event is going to be at 6 p.m. Eastern Time tonight, 5 o'clock Central.
00:02:17.000 I think Fox is going to be carrying it.
00:02:19.000 Yeah, they are.
00:02:20.000 And probably Rav too, hopefully.
00:02:22.000 And it'll be online too, I imagine.
00:02:24.000 Lots of possible ways to watch it.
00:02:26.000 We encourage you guys to tune into that.
00:02:27.000 Catch Erica and the vice president.
00:02:30.000 But what we want to talk about is a chart that we saw yesterday that was really, really jarring and very revealing about the state of modern American politics.
00:02:41.000 So to set this up, there's a commentator who's popular on the, not even the far left.
00:02:47.000 He's kind of the center technocratic left sort of people, the Silicon Valley set.
00:02:52.000 His name is Noah Smith, which is really funny because our own video guy is also named Noah Smith.
00:02:57.000 Very different, very different Noah Smith that we have around here.
00:03:00.000 So this Noah Smith guy, he has a very popular substack.
00:03:03.000 I think he makes $300,000 a month in subscribers to that.
00:03:08.000 He's also a very funny guy.
00:03:09.000 He had to, I think he had to get therapy to be attractive to women.
00:03:13.000 Very funny background stuff there.
00:03:15.000 I don't want to get into all of that, but he had a tweet that went viral the other day where he said the way Democrats should try to win elections is they should try to like America.
00:03:27.000 I'm not kidding.
00:03:28.000 This is the exact quote.
00:03:29.000 Everyone talks about the Democrats' need to moderate on the issues, but what I don't see people talking about is Democrats' need to embrace America as a country.
00:03:40.000 Not a piece of advice you want to be hearing from your own guys.
00:03:42.000 Do we like our own country?
00:03:44.000 But the problem is, this is actually a real problem.
00:03:47.000 It's a genuine insight for him to observe this because if you look at the polls, it turns out Democrats don't like America that much anymore.
00:03:56.000 And this is actually a pretty new thing.
00:03:59.000 This came out in response to what Noah Smith wrote.
00:04:02.000 Charles Lehman of the Manhattan Institute, he highlighted this survey question that Gallup has been doing for decades.
00:04:08.000 For decades, Gallup has asked Americans as one of its regular questions in its surveys: how proud are you to be an American?
00:04:15.000 And so that's just the question: How proud are you to be an American?
00:04:18.000 And it's like extremely proud, very proud, not that proud, not proud at all.
00:04:22.000 And in the early 2000s, there wasn't a big partisan gap on this metric.
00:04:26.000 In 2001, 90% of Republicans said they were very or extremely proud to be American, and Democrats were 87%.
00:04:33.000 That's statistically basically a tie.
00:04:36.000 And, you know, a Republican was in the White House.
00:04:38.000 The Democrats are a bit more down.
00:04:39.000 Basically, the same level of feeling about America.
00:04:42.000 But it started to drop a lot over the 2000s.
00:04:46.000 By the time Obama got elected, Democrats had dipped down to like 80%.
00:04:50.000 They were mad about the Iraq War, mad about Gitmo, and Republicans were still riding high in the 90s.
00:04:56.000 But then what's crazy is after Obama gets elected, they don't, you know, we don't swap places.
00:05:01.000 Republicans build this durable advantage you can see there in how proud they are to be an American.
00:05:06.000 Maybe part of that is Michelle Obama openly saying she was only proud to be an American for the first time in her life when her husband got elected.
00:05:14.000 And then Trump gets elected.
00:05:16.000 You can see on that chart, Trump gets elected and the bottom falls out.
00:05:20.000 By 2020, only 40% of Democrats said they were proud to be American.
00:05:25.000 And when Biden takes the White House back, that's the thing.
00:05:27.000 It doesn't recover.
00:05:29.000 You can see this surge, but it's a surge from 40% to 60%.
00:05:32.000 And then it drops back again.
00:05:34.000 And now we're at the point where it is under 40%.
00:05:37.000 Just 36% of Democrats say they are proud to be Americans.
00:05:42.000 That's barely a third.
00:05:44.000 So this actually matters a lot for the state of United American politics.
00:05:49.000 And I think you'd agree, Danny, because for starters, everyone can tell this.
00:05:54.000 It's colored the nature of what the Democratic Party is offering to the American people.
00:06:01.000 And what they have is it's gone from this offer of, here is our plan to make America a better country.
00:06:08.000 And it's become much more, here is our plan to punish America for its many sins.
00:06:14.000 We saw this in 2020.
00:06:16.000 The message was America's systemically racist.
00:06:19.000 The police are systemically racist.
00:06:21.000 Our cities are these just hives of racism.
00:06:24.000 So it's okay to loot businesses, to burn things down, to rip down our statues, to abolish the founders.
00:06:29.000 And we're still seeing this today: that why did the Biden administration essentially revolve around admitting as many illegal immigrants as possible?
00:06:38.000 Well, it revolved around that because when you are not proud to be American, when you don't like America, you don't like the American people.
00:06:44.000 And by default, you just like anyone who's not American more than Americans.
00:06:48.000 So yes, let's bring in every Haitian.
00:06:51.000 Let's bring in every person Rexo, every person from China, every person from the Central African Republic.
00:06:56.000 Let them all in.
00:06:57.000 Let them immediately go on every welfare program we have.
00:07:00.000 Let them stay here even if they commit crimes because on this fundamental psychological level, they've embraced this attitude that America is illegitimate.
00:07:09.000 That's what's going on with land acknowledgements.
00:07:12.000 It's what's going on with the systemic historic racism attacks you're hearing on America as a country.
00:07:19.000 And it's what we're seeing now with the, you know, call it the Mamdani message.
00:07:22.000 And we talk about Mamdani a lot, not because he's going to be president one day, but because he so perfectly captures this vibe that has spread on the left.
00:07:32.000 You know, what's the real problem of 9-11?
00:07:34.000 The biggest problem of 9-11 is that it caused Americans, he says, to give mean looks to this immigrant, this foreigner who came into the country, who followed this, you know, alien way of life.
00:07:47.000 And so another important thing here is Noah's giving this warning, but it's actually, it's, I don't think they're going to be able to put, they're not going to be able to close up Pandora's box.
00:07:58.000 They can't put the genie back in the bottle on this one.
00:08:00.000 And it's probably the biggest reason we have a strong shot in the Virginia elections that are happening next week, in the New Jersey elections that are happening this week.
00:08:08.000 We're not, you know, we're not blind.
00:08:10.000 We know we're the incumbent party in the White House, and we have a hard time in those midterm elections.
00:08:15.000 And this is a sort of mini midterm.
00:08:17.000 Virginia especially should be really hard.
00:08:19.000 It's the state that's probably been hit hardest by Doge.
00:08:22.000 It's got, you know, again, the double incumbency thing going on.
00:08:26.000 And yet...
00:08:27.000 We have a good shot in those races, especially in the AG race, because they're running a guy for an attorney general who says, I believe it's okay to, you know, murder my political opponents.
00:08:37.000 And that is directly connected to that dislike of America, that they don't really view Americans, their fellow Americans, as this legitimate group of people.
00:08:48.000 There's a line I've seen online where it's, you know, when I say I don't like Libs or I hate Libs, it means I disagree with them, but I would still rescue them from a flood or a fire.
00:08:57.000 And when they say, you know, kindness is everything, it means they want to kill my entire family.
00:09:02.000 And that's what's going on with that guy in, I'm totally blanking on his name.
00:09:07.000 The AG candidate who shall not be in Virginia.
00:09:12.000 And I just don't think they're going to be able to fix this.
00:09:15.000 And there's another clip that this made me think of.
00:09:18.000 This is Zorhan Mamdani on his transit reform plan.
00:09:22.000 This is why he's saying it's important that we get rid of fares on the New York City buses.
00:09:26.000 Let's play 238.
00:09:28.000 I think it's one of the key reasons why we have to make buses free is because it reduces the assaults on bus drivers.
00:09:34.000 It creates a safer work environment.
00:09:36.000 So read between the lines there.
00:09:38.000 It is important that we not have fares on the buses because then the violent criminals can just get on the bus for free and assault you, the citizen, who doesn't deserve to be safe on your bus.
00:09:50.000 What matters is protecting the criminal.
00:09:52.000 What matters is protecting the person who is harming society.
00:09:56.000 This is something Charlie talks about all the time on this show, the celebration parallax.
00:10:00.000 It's not happening, and it's also good that it's happening.
00:10:03.000 We're seeing this element where the left is embracing more and more radical and overtly harmful ideologies.
00:10:10.000 And I think the root of it is, look at the polls.
00:10:12.000 They don't actually like America much anymore.
00:10:17.000 President Trump walked into a catch-22 when taking office.
00:10:21.000 Do nothing, and America would be staring at a ticking debt bomb, the kind of crisis that could cripple our future.
00:10:26.000 Instead, he's taken action with strong policies to slow the train and buy us some time.
00:10:30.000 But the effects of past administration spending are still working through the system, and experts predict dramatic price increases and market uncertainty.
00:10:38.000 Trump is doing all he can, but no matter who's in office, protecting your retirement savings is ultimately up to you.
00:10:44.000 And that's why many Americans are turning to real assets like gold and silver.
00:10:48.000 Preserve gold is our go-to choice here at the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:10:52.000 We use them because they make it easy to own physical gold and silver even inside your retirement accounts like an IRA or 401k.
00:10:59.000 Now, here from Charlie in his own words.
00:11:01.000 Preserve gold is my go-to choice for all my precious metal needs.
00:11:05.000 They are the real deal, and I recommend them to my friends, family, and viewers.
00:11:08.000 Get their free wealth protection guide now by texting Charlie to 50-505.
00:11:14.000 President Trump is fighting for America's future.
00:11:16.000 Now it's your turn to help protect yours.
00:11:20.000 We're talking right now about the polls say that the left just doesn't like America a lot.
00:11:27.000 And you were showing me another chart, Danny, that in addition to the partisan gap, there's also a very, and this isn't surprising, a very severe generation gap in how people view America.
00:11:37.000 I'm a millennial.
00:11:38.000 I'm an aged millennial.
00:11:40.000 You are a member of Gen Z. You were on a college campus quite recently.
00:11:44.000 What was your experience seeing this attitude towards America, especially on the left, but even on the right, I'd say.
00:11:50.000 It's very toxic on both sides right now.
00:11:52.000 We'd be tabling and people would try and flip our table.
00:11:56.000 I think you've seen clips like that elsewhere, just screaming at us, you know, telling us to die and stuff like that.
00:12:04.000 So just very vile stuff.
00:12:05.000 And it increased all four years I was there.
00:12:07.000 I saw more and more and more of it.
00:12:09.000 And especially because this last year I was there was the election year.
00:12:12.000 So it was obviously very intensified.
00:12:15.000 But yeah, it keeps going more and more.
00:12:17.000 And was it specifically, though, because obviously we've always had political divisions in America.
00:12:22.000 We had political divisions when both sides. did genuinely love the country.
00:12:25.000 What's standing out is I do feel there's this attitude on the left that America is a country to be punished now, not a country.
00:12:33.000 I feel like the left at least used to have a good PR pitch of this will make everything in America better.
00:12:39.000 Whereas now, you know, Ma'am Donnie's platform is we're going to soak white neighborhoods, for example, because that just means bad.
00:12:47.000 White equals bad.
00:12:49.000 And I think to some extent for the left, native-born American also equals bad.
00:12:54.000 And did you see that on campus?
00:12:56.000 Yeah, very anti-white.
00:12:58.000 I'd heard stories of people in classes having to apologize for being white.
00:13:04.000 Really?
00:13:04.000 Writing essays completely like apologize for your white privilege, things like that.
00:13:09.000 I had a friend who wants to be a teacher, and he has to all the time in classes write about why it's a problem that he's white.
00:13:17.000 And this is who they want.
00:13:18.000 They're teaching this to people who want to be teachers that are going to be teaching our next generation.
00:13:22.000 It's very bad for the country, but I also have to say, I'm a little optimistic in that in the long run, it is not good for a party to just so visibly despise it.
00:13:34.000 People want to like the country they live in.
00:13:35.000 That is an advantage we have.
00:13:37.000 Ultimately, people want to love their home.
00:13:39.000 And that's a thing that's happening over time.
00:13:40.000 We saw it in this last election.
00:13:42.000 Like Hispanics that Democrats assumed would just always be in their court are actually siding against them because they didn't love the endless flood of legals.
00:13:50.000 They didn't love the idea of blowing up America.
00:13:52.000 So I'm hopeful on that front.
00:13:54.000 And that's why I want to loop in Cliff Maloney here because we'll be talking about the elections in Virginia and New Jersey up ahead.
00:14:01.000 But I just wanted to welcome him in.
00:14:03.000 I believe he's been listening to what we've been talking about here.
00:14:06.000 And Cliff, do you feel that that's giving us a shot that the left's so visible, their visible distaste for America as a country is giving us an opening to really defend our mandate in these coming races?
00:14:21.000 Yeah, and Blake, listen, I've said this to you before on the show.
00:14:23.000 You know, I've said it plenty of times.
00:14:25.000 I always thought that on November 5th, the day, I should say November 6th of last year, the day after the election, I just assumed the pendulum would have to swing, that the left would realize that this radical woke agenda of siding with illegals over American citizens, of pushing men to be in girls' sports, girls' bathrooms, and girls' spaces.
00:14:45.000 I just assumed that they would figure it out and that they would say, look, we've got to find a different path.
00:14:50.000 But somehow, the radicals, the activists, the 10% of the radical donors, the 10% of the radical activists, they're driving this party.
00:14:59.000 They have no leader.
00:15:00.000 They have no vision.
00:15:01.000 They offer no solutions.
00:15:03.000 And it is.
00:15:03.000 It's an opening for Republicans because we're at least coming to the table saying, listen, we care about blue-collar Americans.
00:15:10.000 We care about bringing inflation down.
00:15:11.000 We care about peace around the world.
00:15:13.000 But most importantly, we don't believe in political violence.
00:15:17.000 And so is this an opening?
00:15:18.000 Absolutely.
00:15:19.000 And I think you're going to see it.
00:15:20.000 You know, we'll talk about some of the numbers here in New Jersey and PA and Virginia, but we're seeing it live in the field that people are moving towards the Republicans, especially independents, because of this opening from the radical Democrats doubling down.
00:15:36.000 Yeah.
00:15:36.000 The B-roll we're showing there is showing people, of course, burning the American flag.
00:15:40.000 And I remember that's one of the last debates we had on thought crime before we lost Charlie, and it was whether flag burning should be illegal or not.
00:15:50.000 I believe one of the points I brought up, maybe it was Charlie, one of us, I think it came up though, that free speech issues aside, the grossness of burning the American flag aside, it kind of is really useful if your opponents are just able to, if they're able to just burn the flag, because it's so gross to look at that they do that.
00:16:09.000 That when you, it's sort of allowing your opponent to hurt themselves when you allow them to just go out and just say, Yeah, I hate America.
00:16:17.000 I want to burn America's symbols.
00:16:19.000 I want to burn down America itself, rip down its statues, destroy the founders.
00:16:23.000 And I think it's so funny that this Noah Smith guy has come out and he's like, guys, can we change that?
00:16:31.000 Can we love America now?
00:16:32.000 And it's so, it's such a centrist technocrat thing to believe that you can do that.
00:16:36.000 To think, oh, we can just tell everyone we have to love America again and it will happen.
00:16:40.000 No, you guys broke it.
00:16:42.000 You messed it up.
00:16:43.000 If they go up and say we love America now, the crowd is going to boo.
00:16:47.000 And that's giving us a lot of hope in these races.
00:16:52.000 We truly are living in a historic time.
00:16:55.000 After 738 days, the 20 living Israeli hostages have been released from captivity.
00:17:01.000 And those who were killed will finally rest in peace near their loved ones.
00:17:04.000 Praise God.
00:17:05.000 In this time of celebration, our good friends at the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews send their deepest gratitude for your prayers and unwavering support.
00:17:14.000 Thanks to you, the fellowship has provided $300 million in emergency aid since October 7th, including millions in direct support for the hostages and their families.
00:17:24.000 Of course, the road ahead is still a long one.
00:17:27.000 Much needs to be done to restore and revive these victims of terrorism.
00:17:31.000 But that's exactly what the fellowship does.
00:17:33.000 For example, they're assisting returned hostages, along with their families and friends, with immediate medical, psychological, and financial support.
00:17:41.000 They're also providing mental health care for Israelis of all ages.

00:17:49.000 That's ifcj.org.
00:17:53.000 All right.
00:17:54.000 Well, as we were saying, the clear derision for this country that the Democrat Party has is creating political openings for us.
00:18:02.000 And we have Cliff Maloney with us here.
00:18:04.000 He's in Pennsylvania, which is a state that borders New Jersey.
00:18:08.000 Now, New Jersey's been a blue state my entire life, but it was surprisingly close this last election.
00:18:14.000 It has a lot of sort of MAGA-inclined people.
00:18:18.000 And, you know, it's elected Republican governors before.
00:18:20.000 And we're hoping it's going to elect one again.
00:18:24.000 Just to give you the latest rundown in the polls, we have Mickey Sherrill as the Democrat in the latest poll, and she was pulling up 49% to 46% for the Republican Jack Chitterelli.
00:18:36.000 Now, that's a deficit, but it's closed up a lot in the last few weeks.
00:18:41.000 We also have a very interesting poll that we've seen.
00:18:45.000 Let's put up 225 there.
00:18:47.000 Where when they asked people, who do you think most of your neighbors or friends are voting for?
00:18:52.000 Then Chitterelli got ahead 53% to 47%.
00:18:56.000 So there may be some silent demographic going on here.
00:19:00.000 And I think the momentum has generally been on his side.
00:19:02.000 But we want to go over to you, Cliff.
00:19:04.000 You're actually on the ground there whipping votes.
00:19:07.000 What does the evidence say?
00:19:09.000 And also, what does the evidence you've seen with your own eyes say?
00:19:12.000 Yeah, well, a couple points I want to make.
00:19:13.000 Number one, you said it earlier.
00:19:15.000 You know, this is coming off an election where a Republican is in the White House, Republicans have control of Congress, both the House and the Senate.
00:19:22.000 And so we're not supposed to win this, right?
00:19:24.000 I'm not trying to lower expectations.
00:19:27.000 This is a competitive race in a state that is not supposed to be competitive for Republicans.
00:19:34.000 It's just not supposed to be.
00:19:35.000 The other thing I want to point out is four years ago, when Jack was on the ballot against Murphy, he was down 10 points in the polls at a minimum.
00:19:43.000 I mean, some of these had him down 15 points going into election day.
00:19:47.000 He only lost by three.
00:19:48.000 So let's think about the numbers and how this is trending.
00:19:50.000 Registration is looking much better in terms of it's still dominated by Democrats, but their margin is getting smaller and smaller every single month.
00:19:59.000 Trump lost in 2020 by double digits.
00:20:02.000 Jack loses by three in 2021 with the pushback against a Democrat White House.
00:20:07.000 And then Trump takes his double digit loss and gets it down to 5.9 in the same state just four years later.
00:20:15.000 So to me, you know, what we're seeing on the ground is there's energy for Jack.
00:20:18.000 And, you know, Mikey Cheryl is just the type of candidate that she's the Kamala Harris of New Jersey.
00:20:23.000 The more time people spend with her, the more time people hear her or understand what ideas she's promoting, the fewer votes she's going to get.
00:20:32.000 So I think we're in a great spot.
00:20:34.000 I think the polling shows that.
00:20:35.000 Blake, if you're all right with it, I'd love to kind of go through some of the data on the requests and.
00:20:39.000 No, 100%.
00:20:40.000 Give that to us for sure.
00:20:41.000 Yeah.
00:20:41.000 So I've got it up here.
00:20:42.000 Let me give you the rub.
00:20:44.000 I just tweeted this out.
00:20:45.000 And I do think that this is the entire election.
00:20:48.000 180,000 Republican voters, registered Republican voters, have requested a mail-in ballot in New Jersey.
00:20:56.000 And out of them, only 104 have returned them.
00:21:00.000 That means, and this is for the whole RAV and the whole Charlie Kirk show audience, there are 80,000 Republicans right now in the state of New Jersey that have a ballot sitting on their dining room table.
00:21:13.000 We've got to get every single one of them back.
00:21:15.000 That's what we're doing at the New Jersey Chase with our program, njchase.com.
00:21:20.000 If folks want to come knock doors with us or sponsor a ballot chaser, $175 a day, this is the election.
00:21:27.000 Yes, we've got an early vote.
00:21:28.000 Yes, we got to have people turn out.
00:21:30.000 But if you look at that tweet on the screen, that is everything.
00:21:33.000 Once again, the numbers, 184,000 requested them.
00:21:37.000 104 have come back.
00:21:38.000 That's roughly 80,000 Republicans with a ballot sitting on their dining room table in New Jersey.
00:21:45.000 That is the election.
00:21:46.000 We've got to close that gap.
00:21:48.000 Anyone you know in New Jersey, make sure if they have a ballot, they send it back, make a plan to early vote.
00:21:53.000 And if not, make sure they show up on election day.
00:21:56.000 Absolutely.
00:21:57.000 I'm going to try to do my best, Charlie impression here.
00:21:59.000 Charlie believed in voting early.
00:22:02.000 As he said all the time, an election is not won by rallies.
00:22:05.000 It is not won by polls.
00:22:06.000 It is not won by vibes.
00:22:07.000 It is not won by memes.
00:22:09.000 It is not won by tweets.
00:22:11.000 It is won by whoever has the most pieces of paper with the candidate they support in the ballot box.
00:22:18.000 And on the date of the election, or who knows how many days it takes New Jersey to count them, when it is all counted up, we need Chitterelli to have more pieces of paper in the box than Ms. Cheryl.
00:22:31.000 That is the only thing that will win.
00:22:32.000 80,000 outstanding ballots.
00:22:34.000 Can you repeat that website if people want to go there to get more information?
00:22:38.000 NJChase.
00:22:38.000 Sure.
00:22:39.000 That's njchase.com.
00:22:41.000 Two options if you want to get involved.
00:22:43.000 One, come to New Jersey.
00:22:44.000 Help us talk to these 80,000 Republicans that have a ballot.
00:22:48.000 If you can't do that, $175 sponsors an entire day.
00:22:51.000 We've only got six days left.
00:22:53.000 Would sponsor an entire day for one ballot chaser in New Jersey to go door to door, njchase.com.
00:23:00.000 I'm doing the numbers in my head.
00:23:00.000 All right.
00:23:02.000 80,000 ballots.
00:23:03.000 There are people listening to this show right now.
00:23:06.000 I don't know your names, but I know you're out there.
00:23:08.000 You have this ballot on your kitchen table, on your desk, somewhere.
00:23:14.000 You have it there.
00:23:15.000 And you've been procrastinating.
00:23:16.000 You're thinking, I'm going to do it tomorrow.
00:23:18.000 I'm going to do it after dinner.
00:23:20.000 No, do it now.
00:23:21.000 Turn off this show and go do it now.
00:23:23.000 We won't begrudge it to you.
00:23:24.000 You can come back after you're done.
00:23:27.000 But get that filled out, get it in.
00:23:29.000 And also be sure you're asking your friends about this.
00:23:32.000 I think if you know your friends are politically aligned with you, don't just talk about the race.
00:23:36.000 Talk about have you voted?
00:23:37.000 Have you gotten your ballot in?
00:23:39.000 You'd be amazed the number of people who forget these sorts of things.
00:23:43.000 We've learned that over and over again.
00:23:45.000 And, you know, the best time to vote is right now because sometimes people wait till the last minute and then it doesn't happen.
00:23:54.000 We've learned that over and over as well.
00:23:56.000 And so, Cliff, I wanted to throw it a 234, if we could go over this real quick.
00:24:00.000 It's basically the Dem firewall right now in New Jersey, and it's showing that in 2025, they're running about 30,000 ahead of where they were in 2021.
00:24:12.000 Is that just because of higher turnout across the board?
00:24:15.000 Should we be expecting Republicans to be about 30,000 ahead of where they were in 2021 as well?
00:24:20.000 Can you explain that to us?
00:24:22.000 Yeah, I think there's two numbers I really care about.
00:24:24.000 The first is that we lost mail-in votes.
00:24:27.000 If you look at 2021, we lost mail-in votes by roughly, let's just say 300,000 votes.
00:24:32.000 Okay, Chittorelli did.
00:24:34.000 If you look at early vote, we only lost by about 10,000, or excuse me, 20,000.
00:24:38.000 Okay, I'm talking raw votes, not percentages, right?
00:24:41.000 Everybody wants to look at percentages, and sometimes that makes sense.
00:24:43.000 For me, when I'm chasing ballots or when I'm talking about those 80,000 Republicans with a ballot, to me, it's the raw numbers.
00:24:50.000 On election day, Chittorelli won by over 200,000.
00:24:53.000 So that's what I'm looking at is how do we get that number to where we're below 200,000 or even below 250,000 in terms of the deficit between early voting and mail-in ballots combined going into Election Day.
00:25:10.000 So I'm going to say this, and I might sound pessimistic, and look, I'm a big believer in Jack.
00:25:15.000 This is going to be a very tough race to win.
00:25:17.000 Okay, for those out there that get excited when you have groups like Early Vote Action, groups like Citizens Alliance, Turning Point Action, America First Works, Heritage, all these groups that are coming into the state, which is great, you cannot think that just because we're targeting it is a guaranteed win.
00:25:34.000 We're not supposed to win this race.
00:25:36.000 So I think two things have to happen moving forward.
00:25:38.000 We've got to get the numbers together on everyone early voting and anybody with a ballot coming back in.
00:25:44.000 And then Jack's going to have to overperform his election day success compared to four years ago.
00:25:49.000 I think he's going to have to win election day by 250 to 300,000 votes rather than only winning by 200,000.
00:25:56.000 I hope I'm wrong.
00:25:57.000 I hope we have a surge in early voting over the next couple of days and we've got more of a window.
00:26:02.000 But if she is up by more than 300,000 going into election day, I don't see the math for how you're going to get there.
00:26:08.000 I think Jack's got to overperform and we've got to be competitive over the next couple of days here leading into election day.
00:26:15.000 Exactly, Cliff.
00:26:16.000 And Charlie was always a big believer in two things.
00:26:18.000 He wanted to be realistic.
00:26:20.000 He didn't want hopium.
00:26:21.000 He didn't want to just say, oh, it's all great.
00:26:23.000 And then people feel lied to if it doesn't work out.
00:26:25.000 I like that you're being honest.
00:26:26.000 This is a tough race.
00:26:27.000 This is a challenging race.
00:26:29.000 If you look at the betting markets, the Democrats are favored to win this race.
00:26:32.000 But it's also not 99.9%.
00:26:35.000 It's, you know, if we have a one in five shot, that's okay.
00:26:39.000 One in five.
00:26:40.000 That's better than the odds of rolling a six if you roll a die.
00:26:43.000 And that is a winnable race.
00:26:47.000 It is a race that we can move more in our favor if we are all committed, if we are emphatic.
00:26:52.000 And more to the point, even if we're not going to win, it is our obligation to try.
00:26:57.000 It is our moral obligation as Americans who care about this country, who like this country, as we were discussing at the start, to make our best shot on this one.
00:27:06.000 We also want to look, do we have any numbers from the Virginia race?
00:27:09.000 I want to shout out the Virginia race as well, because that's unfolding right now.
00:27:14.000 That is also going to be a challenging one, but I think the polls show us up in that AG race, and state AGs are more important than ever.
00:27:22.000 We've seen that with Letitia James in New York.
00:27:25.000 We're seeing this with Ken Paxton in Texas.
00:27:28.000 A powerful AG can make a big difference.
00:27:30.000 So that whole rant I did for all of the New Jersey people who have your early ballots, that is also going out to all of you in Virginia.
00:27:37.000 Virginia has early voting right now.
00:27:39.000 I know I used to live in Virginia.
00:27:41.000 You can go to A building near you, probably the county building, somewhere like that.
00:27:47.000 You can go and cast your ballot right now.
00:27:49.000 Vote early.
00:27:50.000 I should have worn a vote early shirt today.
00:27:53.000 You can go in and do it.
00:27:54.000 You can do it right now.
00:27:55.000 You can do it all the rest of this week.
00:27:56.000 I think they cut it off on Saturday, maybe Sunday, but you don't have to worry when they cut it off because if you live in Virginia, you're going to go and you're going to vote right now.
00:28:05.000 Again, turn off this show and go vote.
00:28:07.000 Yeah, this is a fight worth fighting if you're out there.
00:28:10.000 Please go vote.
00:28:11.000 We want to win that AG race and we want to win.
00:28:13.000 We want Winsome Sears to win in the governor's race as well.
00:28:16.000 That is another one where we have seen momentum on our side.
00:28:20.000 That doesn't mean we will win, but it means the race is winnable and we have an obligation to try as best we can.
00:28:26.000 Yeah, I'll comment just real quick.
00:28:28.000 So we're in a couple races there.
00:28:29.000 We're not doing anything statewide.
00:28:31.000 I don't get any credit.
00:28:31.000 You know, obviously, the districts that we're in, it will help a ballot, but we're trying to flip the state house back.
00:28:36.000 So Republicans have a one-seat deficit, if I'm not mistaken, in the House of Delegates.
00:28:41.000 And so what we're doing is targeting a handful of the races where we think we can flip seats.
00:28:46.000 But the momentum, you know, the energy is there.
00:28:48.000 I think people look at Jersey as more of a likely win or however they're analyzing it.
00:28:53.000 But I think both of them, there is a shot here, right?
00:28:55.000 It's going to take a lot of the right things happening, a lot of the same variables, but there is a real chance if Republicans show up that we can win both Jersey and Virginia.
00:29:04.000 You know, there's a pic they just sent me here in the chat, 248, that there are people putting up stickers that say, I voted to honor Charlie Kirk.
00:29:13.000 And I think a lot of people are doing that right now.
00:29:16.000 God bless them.
00:29:20.000 This is Lane Schoenberger, Chief Investment Officer and Founding Partner of YReFi.
00:29:24.000 It has been an honor and a privilege to partner with Turning Point and for Charlie to endorse us.
00:29:30.000 His endorsement means the world to us, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with Turning Point for years to come.
00:29:36.000 Now, here Charlie, in his own words, tell you about YReFi.
00:29:40.000 I'm going to tell you guys about whyRefi.com.
00:29:41.000 That is YREFY.com.
00:29:44.000 WhyReFi is incredible.
00:29:45.000 Private student loan debt in America totals about $300 billion.
00:29:48.000 WhyReFi is refinancing distress or defaulted private student loans?
00:29:52.000 You can finally take control of your student loan situation with a plan that works for your monthly budget.
00:29:56.000 Go to whyrefi.com.
00:29:58.000 That is whyrefi.com.
00:29:59.000 Do you have a co-borrower?
00:30:01.000 WhyReFi can get them released from the loan?
00:30:03.000 You're going to skip a payment up to 12 times without penalty.
00:30:05.000 It may not be available in all 50 states.
00:30:07.000 Go to yrefi.com.
00:30:09.000 That is why FY.com.
00:30:12.000 Let's face it, if you have distress or defaulted student loans, it can be overwhelming.
00:30:16.000 Because of private student loan debt, so many people feel stuck.
00:30:19.000 Go to yrefi.com.
00:30:20.000 That is yrefy.com.
00:30:23.000 Private student loan debt relief, yrefi.com.
00:30:28.000 We're talking about the elections that are now six days away.
00:30:31.000 We covered New Jersey.
00:30:32.000 We covered Virginia.
00:30:34.000 But Danny, you say we have an email that's about the other election.
00:30:36.000 That's on Tuesday.
00:30:37.000 Yeah, we have an email from Zane.
00:30:39.000 Do you think Sliwa would win the race if Cuomo dropped out?
00:30:42.000 Is Sliwa just a comedian candidate or actually someone who could improve the city?
00:30:47.000 That's a, I don't want to like, I don't want to attack the Republican in any way.
00:30:52.000 I would feel like it's tough for us to win that race.
00:30:55.000 Let's be frank.
00:30:56.000 It's very tough right now.
00:30:57.000 I think the field needed to consolidate earlier to show a unified opposition to Mamdani.
00:31:04.000 And instead, it took a long time for that to happen.
00:31:06.000 People are angry one way or another.
00:31:08.000 We get a lot of emails about this.
00:31:10.000 People are, they don't want to vote for Cuomo.
00:31:13.000 Understandably, he killed a ton of people in New York.
00:31:15.000 He's a Democrat.
00:31:17.000 And they're saying, why should the Republican have to drop out to enable Cuomo?
00:31:17.000 He's a thug.
00:31:21.000 But also, I do think it's true that Sliwa has not shown a lot of polling strength.
00:31:26.000 It's going to be very tough to win that race.
00:31:28.000 You should all vote in it anyway because we do not abandon races.
00:31:31.000 We do not give up on our fellow Americans or our cities.
00:31:34.000 But that is going to be a very tough one, no matter what happens, I would say.
00:31:38.000 I have a quick question I want to share with Cliff.
00:31:41.000 Diane sent us a, I guess it's probably Diane, sent us a email that just says, is there a New Jersey phone bank people can go to where they can dial from anywhere?
00:31:52.000 I think that's probably similar to the Turning Point Action app that we've had in some states.
00:31:56.000 Do you have the best advice for people who want to get involved?
00:31:58.000 I guess probably from out of state, Cliff?
00:32:01.000 Yes, download the Early Vote Action app.
00:32:04.000 So Scott Presser's crew has plenty of things that folks can do.
00:32:07.000 This is not me saying that I don't want people to knock doors.
00:32:10.000 But yeah, if you're not able to knock doors with NJ Chase, I would download the Early Vote Action app where you can make calls, send postcards and do some things here in the final six days.
00:32:20.000 So great email.
00:32:22.000 Love when people give an alternative.
00:32:24.000 Everybody's got to take action, right?
00:32:25.000 This is too important of a race to sit on the sidelines.
00:32:28.000 So njchase.com for folks that can knock or that can sponsor a knocker.
00:32:33.000 But if you can't, plenty of different organizations you can partner with from afar to get some real work done.
00:32:38.000 Great question.
00:32:40.000 Yeah.
00:32:41.000 Man, we've got one.
00:32:42.000 Andrew has sent us one, and he sent us in white colored text.
00:32:46.000 So I have to highlight it so that I can read it.
00:32:48.000 It's not the sharpest involvement.
00:32:49.000 So you use black text people.
00:32:51.000 But in this upcoming election, what strategy will be used to engage young voters who feel disconnected from both parties and believe the system isn't working for them?
00:33:00.000 And I do think I don't have an easy answer to that because it does stand out to me.
00:33:05.000 We've talked about the shutdown a lot these past few days and I had that, this thought we were saying on the show that Democrats have touted the biggest victim.
00:33:14.000 One of the biggest victims in this shutdown allegedly is that early retirees are paying more for, I think, their health insurance premiums under Obamacare, and it just it filled me with dread that that is apparently a politically powerful argument, because I don't.
00:33:29.000 I don't want to say anything, you know, to those who are out there who support us, who are early retirees, who were, who were financially successful enough to do that good for you, but I'm just going to say it, it is not early retirees in America that our priority should be on.
00:33:44.000 Our priority needs, above all, to be on young people who will have the next generation, who need to perpetuate American prosperity, American success, American vitality, and I do think, as Republicans, we've got to be really zeroed in on that message that we are the people who care about your future.
00:34:01.000 We are the ones who will do things to enable you to own a home, to have a family, to live in a country that doesn't feel like it hates you all of the time, and we've gone to this again and again, the fact that Democrats so visibly want you to live in filth and in crime and surrounded by foreigners who don't speak like you, who don't like you, who view you as a giant pile of money to get.
00:34:22.000 They're creating a lot of opportunities for us and we've, at times, been imperfect in capitalizing on that, and you know.
00:34:28.000 That's why you know Zo Ron Mamdani has had the success he's had.
00:34:31.000 How do you feel about that, Danny?
00:34:32.000 Yeah, and I think what strategies can we use to engage?
00:34:35.000 The vote, or engage young voters, is turning point USA.
00:34:37.000 I think more people can just get involved with Turning Point.
00:34:40.000 If you're in, possibly go to our event tonight.
00:34:42.000 If you're in all this online watch online, have your own.
00:34:46.000 Yeah, I feel like this is turning points, needed now more than ever.
00:34:51.000 So I feel like everybody can Can get involved.
00:34:54.000 And that is a way that young voters can stay engaged.
00:34:58.000 And that is what Charlie's main mission was all about.
00:35:01.000 Yeah.
00:35:02.000 How about you, Cliff?
00:35:02.000 You're always doing the get out the vote.
00:35:04.000 You're probably speaking to a lot of youngish people.
00:35:06.000 What have you been seeing?
00:35:07.000 Yeah, well, I'll echo Danny here.
00:35:09.000 I mean, first and foremost, get involved with Turning Point.
00:35:11.000 If there's a local chapter, join it.
00:35:13.000 If there's not, start it.
00:35:14.000 And listen, Turning Point is not just for students, right?
00:35:17.000 I always have to explain to people: there's local chapters, there's faith chapters.
00:35:20.000 You guys have chapters for pretty much any type of individual that's looking to get involved.
00:35:24.000 So I just would really encourage you.
00:35:26.000 You might be sitting there thinking, well, you know, I like watching the show and I like the ideas.
00:35:30.000 Get involved, right?
00:35:32.000 The country needs you to step up and get involved with Turning Point and to take real action.
00:35:38.000 Look, how do I think we reach young people?
00:35:40.000 I think this election in 2024 really proved one thing, and that is that authenticity is what matters.
00:35:48.000 And I think as Republicans, I'm going to be brutally honest, the rhinos, the establishment, some of these people that have been in this game for way too long, they're losing young people and all voters because people can sense they're not authentic.
00:36:03.000 Donald Trump and JD Vance, when you compared that to Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, it was the greatest difference in authenticity.
00:36:12.000 You might not like Trump, you might not like JD, but when they're talking, you know they're saying what they believe.
00:36:17.000 And when you compare that to the Democrat leaders, they're just not authentic.
00:36:21.000 Now, my warning is Mamdani, because he is the one guy right now that when he talks, he sounds authentic.
00:36:28.000 I don't know how much he believes what he's saying, but I think authenticity needs to be what we focus on.
00:36:34.000 I'm going to continue to chase ballots and use whatever tactics at the door we need to to win.
00:36:39.000 But one, get involved at Turning Point if you want to make a difference.
00:36:43.000 And two, the Republicans have a mandate to be the most authentic party and really to deliver for the American people.
00:36:50.000 They do that, they're going to have great success.
00:36:52.000 That's right.
00:36:53.000 Thank you, Cliff, so much for coming on.
00:36:55.000 Again, get out and vote right now if you are in these states.
00:36:58.000 Get out there.
