00:01:31.300 to practitioners in the field of gender affirming care, so-called, talk about their
00:01:36.360 patients. Because everything they say is wrong, dangerously wrong, but they are
00:01:43.600 completely incapable of seeing it. And that's because the entire field of
00:01:48.800 pediatric gender medicine is built on faulty foundations. And basic logic tells us
00:01:54.880 that when the first step in your reasoning is wrong, everything that follows will
00:02:00.240 also be wrong. So now I'm going to share with you three fundamental truths that
00:02:07.340 everyone involved in the scandal of pediatric gender medicine has either forgotten or is
00:02:13.540 choosing to ignore. Three fundamental truths that are the key to bringing an end to this scandal.
00:02:22.740 Fundamental truth number one, there is no such thing as a transgender child. 0.98

00:03:50.100 certainty who they are. Second, you must believe that a child can distinguish stereotypes from this

00:04:05.700 and having an authentic identity that somehow makes them a member of the opposite sex. 0.60

00:04:26.180 All that requires an enormous leap of faith. It requires that you reject all existing knowledge

00:11:06.900 to binge and purge into the fertile minds of millions of adolescent girls and young women

00:11:50.420 recently in Germany. And it's the outbreak of tick-tock tics.
00:11:56.660 In 2019, German psychiatrists observed a sudden surge in adolescent girls presenting to clinics
00:12:04.180 with abrupt onset Tourette-like symptoms, Tourette-like tics. This immediately
00:12:11.940 raised alarm bells because Tourette's typically affects boys and starts in early childhood.
00:12:17.140 This was an entirely new patient population. So researchers scrambled to find the trigger
00:12:24.260 and quickly identified the index case. Adolescent girls with sudden onset
00:12:30.340 Tourette-like symptoms began appearing in German clinics just three months after Jan Zimmerman,
00:12:37.460 a young Tourette sufferer, launched a YouTube channel that exploded in popularity.
00:12:43.460 The girls displayed the exact same symptoms as Jan, the same outbursts and the same catchphrases.
00:12:51.620 The phenomenon soon migrated to TikTok, where it spread like wildfire.
00:12:58.900 Researchers coined a new term for what they were observing, mass social media induced illness,

00:13:35.380 consisted predominantly of young boys. The surge was so sudden and the inflection point so obvious
00:13:43.780 that in a sane era, clinicians would have scrambled to identify the trigger of what was clearly a social
00:13:50.180 contagion. Instead, in the era of trans rights, no one even bothered to look. 0.97
00:13:59.220 And just like TikTok ticks, it wouldn't have taken much effort to find the answer.
00:14:05.060 All it required was a glance at the cultural messaging of the time.
00:14:09.460 Because 2014 was the year Laverne Cox appeared on the cover of Time magazine with the headline,
00:14:15.380 the transgender tipping point, America's next civil rights frontier. And with that, the modern trans 0.99
00:14:22.020 rights movement launched. Trans identified celebrities were everywhere. Trans characters appeared in
00:14:28.660 children's books and television shows. Trans influencers proliferated with astonishing speed online.
00:14:36.180 Schools began teaching gender identity ideology as if it's scientific fact. And in a perfect storm
00:14:43.140 scenario, smartphones and social media exploded in popularity at exactly the right moment, creating
00:14:50.340 the ideal super spreading environment for this seductive idea to go viral. The message adolescents received
00:14:58.660 was simple. If you hate your body, that could mean you're trans. And right on cue, legions of confused 0.68
00:15:06.340 adolescents who hate their developing bodies started showing up at gender clinics, believing themselves
00:15:13.060 to be trans. Just like TikTok ticks, a mass social media induced illness. Except on this occasion,
00:15:24.100 instead of scrambling to contain the epidemic, doctors picked up their syringes and scalpels and set
00:15:30.500 about permanently medicalizing the innocent youth caught up in this powerful cultural storm. An activist
00:15:38.020 marched in the streets demanding that these young people be allowed to sacrifice their
00:15:42.820 health, fertility and body parts while swiftly demonizing anyone who dared point out the obvious
00:15:49.860 parallels to social contagions of the past. Which brings me to my final point. I want to say something
00:15:58.500 about those activists and all the people driving this scandal. When Premier Danielle Smith enacted laws
00:16:07.860 to protect the youth of Alberta from this deeply unethical experiment, she faced a tsunami of fury from
00:16:14.740 trans activists. An NDP MPP accused her of launching hateful attacks on trans kids. A union leader called the
00:16:26.020 law cruelty disguised as policy. And a member of Canada's Senate said the legislation was unscientific and immoral,
00:16:35.060 and only designed to hurt these young people. Not a word of that is true. But yet those activists believe it with a ferocious passion.
00:16:46.340 Because they are blinded by ideology and they have forgotten the three fundamental truths that I've shared today.
00:16:54.020 They are the quintessential true believers. They live in a fictional world and they are fighting to protect a
00:17:00.580 non-existent type of child from an imaginary enemy. Theirs is a moral quest of good versus evil.
00:17:08.740 And they mistakenly believe themselves to be on the side of good.
00:17:13.540 But this is not a story about good versus evil. It's a story about ideology versus reality.

00:17:23.940 To do evil, a human being must first believe that what he is doing is good.
00:17:29.140 Ideology, he warned us, is what gives evil doing its justification and gives the evil doer the
00:17:35.300 steadfastness and moral certainty to carry it out. It is ideology that drives doctors to commit acts of
00:17:43.060 evil beyond comprehension, to amputate the healthy breasts of teenage girls, to block the natural 0.98
00:17:50.180 development of innocent children, and to rob young people of their fertility and sexual function 0.81
00:17:55.940 before they can even comprehend what that means. When the Canadian Medical Association launched a
00:18:02.740 legal challenge to Alberta's puberty blocker ban, its president dismissed the law as political
00:18:09.300 interference, explaining, and I quote, that medicine is a calling and that doctors are compelled to care
00:18:16.420 for and promote the well-being of patients. But that statement reveals the problem. The CMA remains
00:18:24.260 blind to the scandal unfolding in plain sight, operating under the comforting illusion that good
00:18:30.980 intentions alone are enough to protect patients from harm. Yet noble intentions are no safeguard against
00:18:38.100 harm. History is littered with medical scandals, and at the center of each there were well-intentioned
00:18:45.060 doctors who left a trail of devastation in their quest to help patients. The doctors who prescribed thalidomide
00:18:53.140 didn't do so with the intention of causing major birth defects. The obstetricians who sent expectant
00:18:59.540 mothers for prenatal x-rays didn't deliberately set out to cause childhood leukemia. And the recovered
00:19:06.820 memory therapists of the 1980s truly believed they were helping victims of child sex abuse when, guided by
00:19:14.660 ideology, they implanted false memories of incest into the minds of hundreds of thousands of women, shattering families 1.00
00:19:22.740 and destroying lives. There can be little doubt that pediatric gender medicine is destined to take its place in 1.00
00:19:31.300 history alongside these medical catastrophes. Because the fundamental truths that make one thing unmistakably clear,
00:19:40.820 not a single one of these kids is trans and not a single one can grasp the lifelong consequences of these interventions. 0.99
