00:00:00.240 We're not here to preach to you, we're here to share with you, and absolutely here to equip you for the rest of 2026 with information, arguments, and some hope.
00:00:15.480 Hi guys, Mike from the Critical Compass. We are here at Home Church in Red Deer, Alberta, for Jason Levine's Fundamental Truth Conference.
00:00:23.160 We're here to discuss what might be fundamental truths to some, and what to others might be considered hateful rhetoric, or fringe, unacceptable views.
00:00:32.820 So hopefully we'll get some crowd reactions today, we'll interview some people, we will discuss with some of the presenters their thoughts on the event.
00:00:40.280 We've also, behind me, we've got a petition drive as well for the recently approved Alberta Independence Referendum petition.
00:00:48.680 And we've had people lined up around the building for probably the last two hours.
00:00:52.240 It's a great turnout in the audience, a great turnout to sign the petition, and thanks as always for tuning in.
00:01:01.860 The event title, Fundamental Truths, is not for just any reason.
00:01:07.880 We don't expect you here to be comfortable, we don't expect you here to agree on everything,
00:01:15.080 and the reality is that's never been a prerequisite for truth.
00:01:18.880 So when we look at human rights, so where do they really come from?
00:01:22.760 Well, they come from religious texts, they come from what we believe are our fundamental human rights,
00:01:27.240 because they are God-given rights.
00:01:29.780 In every sense of the word, the political, the cultural, the spiritual,
00:01:34.220 the enemy wants you to give up and quit.
00:01:36.340 So it's illegal for this information to be shared with you.
00:01:40.760 It's because we would lose confidence in government-funded health care if the law was as all information about drugs had to be shared with us.
00:01:50.620 And that's because the entire field of pediatric gender medicine is built on faulty foundations.
00:01:55.640 When the first step in your reasoning is wrong, everything that follows will also be wrong.
00:02:02.820 And governments know that they can get votes by providing the spending,
00:02:09.180 shift the taxes to the future for voters later on that will have nothing to do with them getting elected today.
00:02:17.380 The combination of the claim to truth and authority is the combination that leads to tyranny.
00:02:29.780 It's our responsibility to take that warm, comfortable sweater called fear off.
00:02:39.220 Now go tell people to tell people.
00:02:42.660 All right, we're here with the man, the myth, the legend, Jason Levine.
00:02:47.400 Hey, talk about an event, hey?
00:02:49.400 That was pretty cool for early January in Red Deer.
00:02:53.720 That's a great way to start off, 2026, I do believe.
00:02:56.500 And I like some of the speakers who are talking about the optimism for 2026.
00:03:00.520 We're at a turning point.
00:03:01.800 And we had a lot of people talking about hope, like Sean Buckley.
00:03:04.820 He actually highlighted how he's actually optimistic because of the audience that showed up,
00:03:08.980 the energy in that room.
00:03:10.140 We had over 3,000 people online as well.
00:03:13.040 So we had a really good audience.
00:03:14.920 And I think the final message by Teresa Buckley, which was to go ahead and start sharing
00:03:19.240 and share this out with other people, not just this event, but start talking to your family,
00:03:24.260 the lady in the grocery store, and make sure that we are no longer afraid
00:03:28.100 and we use our courage and get rid of that fear to move forward.
00:03:31.560 We're here with Mia Hughes, of course, the legendary, outspoken, anti-gender ideology activist.
00:03:38.320 What did you think of today's event?
00:03:39.660 I thought it was excellent.
00:03:43.340 Huge range of viewpoint subjects.
00:03:47.100 We had a disagreement towards the end, which I loved.
00:03:50.840 Wonderful audience.
00:03:52.660 Everything about it was great.
00:03:53.800 Yeah, we really liked that too.
00:03:56.700 We were paying attention during the Q&A there and when you and Bruce Party were kind of very
00:04:01.680 respectfully getting into it a little bit there.
00:04:03.380 We love that.
00:04:04.180 Like, that's when you're talking about fundamental truths.
00:04:06.480 Well, a textbook example of how a real intellectual progress is made.
00:04:12.160 Let's say a child says, I want my leg chopped off.
00:04:18.760 And the parents say, yes, my child should be an amputee because they have an innate amputee identity
00:04:28.280 and it's their true self.
00:04:31.180 Should the parents be able to make that decision?
00:04:33.440 Well, I would be appalled at that result.
00:04:39.180 But my question back to you is, if not, what's the principle involved?
00:04:44.560 I want to know who makes the call on behalf of the child.
00:04:49.020 The parents, first and foremost, or the state?
00:04:51.180 But I think the point that Bruce is making is, is you always have to be on sound principles
00:04:58.520 because the reality is, is there's going to be bad decisions made.
00:05:02.340 Throughout history, the biggest maimer, the biggest torturer, the biggest killer is always
00:05:07.660 when power is concentrated in the hands of decision makers.
00:05:11.720 Is there not a place for the government to step in and just say, you have to look at the evidence?
00:05:18.000 You can't ignore the evidence.
00:05:19.940 Is there room for that?
00:05:20.900 That'll, that'll backfire on you if you're dealing with a different subject
00:05:24.580 where the science has been controlled by the state, right?
00:05:28.360 If you follow the science, now you're appealing to authority
00:05:31.600 and authority will determine what the science is.
00:05:36.340 And I'm going to invite you all to watch the Levine show as I have them both on
00:05:39.920 to continue this conversation.
00:05:43.960 But I do want to add one more thing to Bruce because I pay very close attention to what he said.
00:05:48.620 You did agree with the commandment, thou shalt not steal could be law.
00:05:53.580 So thou shalt not steal the innocence of a child.
00:05:56.080 Mr. Carpe, how did you feel the event went today?
00:06:03.660 I just loved listening to the speakers.
00:06:06.380 I took lots of notes.
00:06:07.420 I learned a lot.
00:06:08.420 And it was a great conference.
00:06:10.040 With such a varied panel and such an academically diverse group of people,
00:06:14.640 does this sort of give you hope going into the year here of having more conversations like this
00:06:19.000 reach the public during this rather contentious year for the country and the province?
00:06:23.680 Remember that the only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing.
00:06:29.160 So as long as we've got people that are active and aware and alert and awake and doing things,
00:06:36.100 then we're going to push back against the darkness.
00:06:38.980 Natalie, what fundamental truths are you here to hopefully listen to today?
00:06:42.760 Well, I actually really appreciated what Leighton Gray had to say earlier about just the allegory of the spider,
00:06:52.160 the tarantula, the Nietzschean story about, you know, how we get caught in the tarantula's web.
00:06:59.760 I am Indian number 3780270401.
00:07:06.380 That's the first thing.
00:07:12.120 That's the fundamental truth about me.
00:07:14.660 Why is that important to you?
00:07:17.360 Because the fundamental truth about your country, Canada, is that it's a segregated society.
00:07:24.380 Did you know that?
00:07:25.840 But Nietzsche wrote a parable.
00:07:29.100 It was called the Parable of the Tarantula.
00:07:31.480 The parable is like an allegorical story.
00:07:34.080 It speaks a metaphor, tries to teach something using symbolic language.
00:07:38.880 So what's the parable of the tarantula?
00:07:42.360 Well, Nietzsche was talking about power.
00:07:45.700 He was talking in terms of how human beings use and destroy each other, right?
00:07:53.400 The powerful and the powerless.
00:07:56.660 You see where I'm going with this?
00:07:57.700 So the tarantula in the parable is essentially, for Nietzsche, and I think today, is what we would call the political left, the liberals, the globalists, right?
00:08:11.220 Captures victims and sucks the life out of them, leaving dross and dust.
00:08:17.900 That's the spider.
00:08:20.400 That's the killer.
00:08:23.440 And where does the Indian stand up to this?
00:08:25.380 Well, the Indian sees the glitter of the web, and he wanders in there, and he thinks, oh, this looks okay.
00:08:34.040 And the spider, what does the spider say?
00:08:36.020 Nietzsche says the spider comes to the victims, his victims, and says, come to me.
00:08:41.860 I offer you equality.
00:08:46.380 I offer you vengeance.
00:08:50.000 You're a victim.
00:08:51.900 You're not my victim.
00:08:53.640 You're their victim.
00:08:57.300 I will offer you.
00:08:59.140 I have power.
00:09:00.760 I have agency.
00:09:01.700 You have none.
00:09:02.740 You need me.
00:09:03.960 You join up with me.
00:09:05.460 Come into my web.
00:09:07.500 I'll save you.
00:09:08.660 I will give you retribution.
00:09:12.460 I will give you equality.
00:09:14.880 I will give you reparations.
00:09:19.580 You will have power, but only through me.
00:09:23.920 And then the victim is in the web.
00:09:27.080 We are here with Ms. Beth Sheba-Vandenberg, one of the speakers of the events today.
00:09:32.200 Thank you so much for chatting with us.
00:09:33.500 We're looking into 2026, and it's kind of a big year for Canada and Alberta in particular.
00:09:38.660 Do you have, are you, what's your outlook?
00:09:40.700 Is it positive?
00:09:41.380 Is it negative going into this year?
00:09:44.300 I, for some reason, and it could be just the intuition and a gut feeling, I have a feeling
00:09:49.060 it's going to be a good year.
00:09:50.760 And if we come together, we can identify those strengths, and people can become better advocates
00:09:56.180 and hold the government to account.
00:09:57.580 And I really do think it's going to be a year of accountability.
00:10:00.520 We're going to start seeing good change, healing, if you like.
00:10:06.540 Healing.
00:10:07.160 That's what we really need.
00:10:08.660 All right, we're here with Mr. Sean Buckley.
00:10:10.320 Thanks for taking a few minutes here, sir.
00:10:12.240 What were your thoughts on the event today?
00:10:14.560 Well, you know, I thought it was a pretty powerful event, and it was well attended, which is encouraging.
00:10:20.580 I think we've kind of entered that phase where people that were closed-minded before are now
00:10:27.400 ready to accept information.
00:10:28.880 And so the real question is, how do we start getting those people out to these types of events?
00:10:34.460 And how do we share the information?
00:10:35.900 But it was a fantastic event.
00:10:37.520 We've all kind of been exhausted, but that exhaustion's ending, and that fear is ending.
00:10:43.180 And now it's the second wave.
00:10:44.760 So, you know, this group will carry on, but other people are now going to rise up, and
00:10:50.900 the narrative's going to start changing, and we're going to start having discussion.
00:10:54.220 And I felt that today, that there's a—2026 is a new year, and now, you know, there's more optimism,
00:11:01.220 despite of what's going on.
00:11:02.520 And remember, I said, you're designed here to be here at this moment, in these experiences.
00:11:08.200 And I'm just feeling very optimistic by the atmosphere today.
00:11:13.560 I encourage everybody to cultivate and to practice two virtues.
00:11:17.400 The virtue of courage to speak truth to power.
00:11:20.760 Keep on practicing that.
00:11:22.680 Don't be intimidated by the name-calling.
00:11:25.400 Perhaps I'm preaching to the converted, but you know that if you speak truth,
00:11:29.560 you're going to be subjected to the name-calling.
00:11:31.260 When you get called names, take that as a sign of encouragement, because it means that
00:11:35.340 the other side does not have an intelligent argument to match yours.
00:11:39.980 And this is from Augustin of Hippo, who said,
00:11:44.300 The truth is like a lion.
00:11:46.620 You don't have to defend it.
00:11:48.540 Let it loose, and it will defend itself.
00:11:50.460 I hope I've loosed some upon you today.
00:11:52.380 Thank you very much.
00:12:01.260 You don't have to defend yourself.
00:12:03.420 I love you.
00:12:03.900 I know how you Perse при 분位置 are here.
00:12:04.220 Thank you very much.
00:12:08.300 For this aspect of your story, Because I've soared a lot of downtown,
00:12:14.620 that's where you stay close with me.
00:12:16.300 I feel like you're perfect for the same way.
