On today's episode of The Krusty Canuck Podcast, we discuss the $12 million debacle that our beloved government has graciously given to Loblaws Incorporated, and I dwell into the concept of more white supremacy hunters out there. Yes, that's right, all those people that think that every white person out there is a white supremacist, and all the other bullshit coming up on the show.
00:00:00.000Greetings everybody, I'm your host Krusty Canuck and this is the Krusty Canuck podcast.
00:00:25.660On today's episode we are going to talk about the $12 million debacle that our beloved government has rightfully given away to Loblaws Incorporated and I'm going to dwell into the concept of more white supremacy hunters out there.
00:00:44.160Yes, that's right. All these people that think that every white person out there is a white supremacist and all this other bullshit coming up on the show here.
00:00:54.820So we're going to start with the debacle of the $12 million giveaway to Loblaws Incorporated.
00:01:00.580Now when you look at the Weston family, they started making their fortune from Weston, Weston correction, Weston bakeries out of Ontario.
00:01:09.360I remember as a kid seeing the Weston logo on things, bread, buns, all that good stuff.
00:01:17.880And they became big grocers and eventually owned Loblaws and all parts thereof, all the other chain stores that coincide, President's Choice brand, all that good stuff.
00:01:27.900And all of a sudden because they want to get new freezers for their stores, the federal government is going to graciously hand them $12 million, $12 million of Canadian taxpayer dollars, right, going to assist in the climate change with the Loblaws stores.
00:01:45.980Now I never noticed Loblaws being a giant polluter or being one to dump anything raw or toxic into our waterways or dumping any garbage anywhere that's going to impact the environment as we know it.
00:02:01.640But we also know, too, that there's a lot of Loblaws money that goes into helping the NDP here in Alberta and other interests across the country.
00:02:14.160I don't know about you folks, but I'm a little ticked when it comes to that, especially when there's seniors in this country that are hurting for benefits and boosts.
00:02:23.460First Nations are still drinking bad water and mercury poisoning, all that good stuff that's been going on for years.
00:02:33.820And yet the federal government sees it that, okay, I think Loblaws deserves $12 million.
00:02:54.140Lavalin BS going on and all the cover-ups and our beloved Mr. Potato Head, our Prime Minister, threatening to sue Andrew Scheer over lies and misconceptions and beer mongering.
00:03:24.800Here's $12 million to get you those new refrigerators and new freezers to help you out.
00:03:30.100Yet there are small businesses in this country that are struggling to get ahead, especially since the carbon tax has now been forced down people's throats.
00:03:40.300These smaller companies have to pay more money to maintain or to downsize their livelihoods because a handful of people in Ottawa think that Loblaws deserve something more than the average Canadian taxpayer.
00:03:57.060So it must be nice to sit on your hands and just decide to give away Canadian tax dollars for, you know, a big company.
00:04:06.360That's all it is, ladies and gentlemen.
00:04:08.760It's nothing else but corporate welfare.
00:04:10.540It's nothing else but favorites and political pundits helping each other out, of course, in the last year up to the federal election.
00:06:25.640I can give you a list of stores that I know personally that could use $12 million to upgrade their systems for the sake of the environment, quote-unquote.
00:06:35.660I know a lot of First Nations reservations that could use that $12 million to clean up their water, to sort some things out, other than, you know, bad water, i.e. administration and leadership.
