The Crusty Canuck Podcast - 9⧸11 Remembrance⧸Election Cold Feet PT 2⧸Honourable Mentions.

00:00:00.920 Greetings, ladies and gentlemen. It is September 11th, 2019, 18 years after that fateful correction accident that happened to our American neighbors.

00:00:11.000 Yes, the 9-11 incident, two planes going into big buildings, killing about 3,000 plus people.

00:00:16.440 This episode will be like a dedication memorial to them, plus election cold feet part two,

00:00:21.340 Justin Trudeau and his infant wisdom not showing up to the debates,

00:00:24.180 and of course, the RCMP not being able to investigate the SNC-Lavalin incident.

00:00:29.200 And some honorable mentions. All that and more coming up on the Krusty Connect podcast. Stay tuned.

00:01:00.120 Greetings, all. I'm your host, Krusty Connect, and this is the September 11th edition of the Krusty Connect podcast.

00:01:06.600 So, before I begin, let's just reflect a few moments or two on those lost in 9-11.

00:01:15.500 I ask you to remember where you were at the time.

00:01:22.700 Where were you when that moment happened?

00:01:24.520 It's one of those fateful moments in history that you remember where you were and what you were doing.

00:01:29.060 I myself, I was out in the field with members of Duke's Company and 1RCR.

00:01:32.940 We were out practicing for summer, not summer, early fall maneuvers, just doing some recce exercises, map and compass, reading the ground, all that good stuff.

00:01:43.040 And we heard the news via our Sergeant Major.

00:01:46.900 He'd come out and says, hey, troops, this is what's going on.

00:01:49.680 Oh, you know, World Trade Center has been attacked.

00:01:52.920 Stand by. And we're like, yeah, okay, whatever.

00:01:54.840 And about 10 minutes later, we all get the call to head back to Garrison, prep our kit, and get ready to hurry up and wait.

00:02:06.300 We're on standby.

00:02:08.140 We didn't know where we were going, what we were doing, but we made sure we had our immediate kit ready to go.

00:02:13.060 And, yeah, we were on standby.

00:02:15.560 And throughout the day, we were watching on television what exactly happened, who had affected, what was going on.

00:02:22.200 And it was just devastating.

00:02:24.840 Regardless of what your point of view is on politics at the time, what was going on in the world, whether it be Iraq or Iran or in Africa or in the Balkans or in other hotspots in the world, that was just a low blow to everybody.

00:02:43.240 You know, a lot of good people lost their lives.

00:02:47.980 And a lot of people stepped up to help those individuals.

00:02:50.740 I think something about 343 firefighters were lost in New York City, about a dozen paramedics and some police officers, and the actual casualties that were locked and lost in the building.

00:03:03.100 Some who actually flung to their deaths and some who went with the toppling.

00:03:09.440 Sad day in the world, ladies and gentlemen, regardless of how you feel about politics.

00:03:12.920 We've got to reflect on moments like that, you know, one of our devastating moments in our lifetime, you know.

00:03:20.940 To the individuals that were born after that, let's hope to God you don't have to see anything like that in your life.

00:03:27.940 All the more reasons to fight for democracy and fight for freedom.

00:03:30.720 It doesn't matter what spectrum you're on, whether you're on the left side of things, the right side of things, or down center, or you just want to vote and be left alone.

00:03:39.400 You know, situations like that that make you realize that we're lucky to live where we live and to do what we do, regardless of race, color, or creed.

00:03:48.440 So, I've got to ask you guys in your own time, take a minute, think about those who lost their lives, regardless of what your personal point of view is towards capitalism or not.

00:04:02.840 I think capitalism is great, and I think it's wonderful.

00:04:05.760 It's one of the reasons why I'm here, because, you know, I wouldn't mind making some money at this.

00:04:09.360 But besides that, I'm not using that day or this day as a day to earn some quick cash.

00:04:14.260 I want to get the word out and let people know that I haven't forgotten about 9-11, and nor should you.

00:04:21.500 I haven't forgotten about those people that died.

00:04:23.740 I haven't forgotten about those pictures of people flinging themselves out the windows.

00:04:29.640 And to the conspiracy theorists out there who say this didn't happen or that didn't happen,

00:04:34.620 well, nonetheless, there are 3,500 people that aren't with us today because of that.

00:04:39.620 Not to mention the ideologues that have gone behind the Pentagon pictures and everything who have said things

00:04:49.040 and some of the planes that went missing, but I'm not worried about that right now.

00:04:54.460 I'm looking at September 11th as a day of remembrance and reflecting on how lucky we are in Canada

00:05:02.200 and how lucky some of our friends are in the States and any working democracy in this planet.

00:05:09.640 Let's be thankful, you know.

00:05:11.840 Let's be thankful and grateful and try to do our best to tolerate and to put up with life's little mysteries.

00:05:20.360 It could be worse.

00:05:21.020 We could be living in squalor and poverty, but we don't because we don't want that.

00:05:24.340 And let's look at our American friends sometimes and remember for them as well, too.

00:05:30.520 There were Canadians that were killed in that tower, too.

00:05:33.220 I don't know the exact number off the top of my head, but it affected Canada, too, ladies and gentlemen.

00:05:37.740 In fact, the whole world, you know.

00:05:39.700 So to my American listeners out there, you know, a gentle solace and a condolences to you as all. 0.99

00:05:49.900 Well, to everyone who has lost a loved one to that catastrophe and that fucking disaster. 0.98

00:05:57.820 So let's keep that in mind. 0.98

00:06:00.440 You know, let's take a minute of silence for those ladies and gentlemen, 0.99

00:06:06.460 those firefighters, police officers, and paramedics that aren't with us today.

00:06:11.100 So we'll start it right now.

00:06:13.720 Okay.

00:06:14.200 Three, two, one.

00:06:19.900 Three, two, one.

00:06:49.900 Three, two, one.

00:07:19.880 The visuals we had from a lot of our American, one of the American stations as well as Canadian stations that were broadcasting.

00:07:29.880 Disaster.

00:07:30.600 And, yeah.

00:07:32.380 So let's remember that, ladies and gentlemen.

00:07:34.100 Let's remember how vulnerable sometimes we can be and how suggestive and how overwhelming some powers it can be.

00:07:42.940 You know, I guess you can say the good people down south were caught with their pants down for something or whatever conspiracy, but regardless of what you believe in.

00:07:51.540 It was a devastating thing.

00:07:52.700 And I'll never forget it.

00:07:53.320 And I'll never forget it.

00:07:54.200 And I hope to God you don't, too.

00:07:56.400 You know, it just reminds us how, sometimes how fragile we can be and how immortal we are.

00:08:07.000 It also reminds us what's good about both of our nations and what we can do together and what we can do to honor and respect our fallen, regardless of whatever conflict or situation.

00:08:19.940 And, you know, special hats off out there to the people of Newfoundland that assisted those flights, that helped some of those American passengers get along during the catastrophe.

00:08:34.580 Well done.

00:08:35.120 And a special mention to everybody else on the east coast of Canada right now who's encouraged or who's encountered the Hurricane Dorian, please, if there's anything you need, someone get a hold of me.

00:08:51.880 I don't mind sending blankets or extra kit or anything down that way, so please give me a shout.

00:08:56.620 You can reach me here at Krusty Canuck.

00:08:58.400 Best way to get reaching me here is through www.krustycanuck.ca.

00:09:02.860 And we can go from there.

00:09:06.380 But as I mentioned in the opening sequence, 9-11 in memoriam.

00:09:13.280 God bless, Godspeed to those survivors.

00:09:20.260 And let that be an example of how easy our governments can be thwarted and influenced.

00:09:30.980 And what really annoys me about today is that I didn't see our beloved leader, Mr. Sockboy, Mr. Potato, Mr. Justin Trudeau, had nothing to say, you know?

00:09:48.040 Mind you, he's not really known for his public speaking.

00:09:50.140 He's known for his public puppet work, besides that. 0.99

00:09:53.300 But he hasn't said shit. 1.00

00:09:56.960 Bastard. 1.00

00:09:57.480 Doesn't really give a shit. 1.00

00:10:03.180 And, well, that's his downfall, as far as I'm concerned. 0.98

00:10:06.240 In regards to what the Nanos poll says, I don't think the liberals are going to have a good chance for this federal election.

00:10:13.980 As far as I'm concerned, they blew it.

00:10:16.020 They blew it big time.

00:10:17.100 And the moment he wanted parody, and the moment he said Sunnyways, and the moment he said, the budget will balance itself.

00:10:27.300 They blew it.

00:10:28.660 So, that being said, ladies and gentlemen, it's obvious he knows he's not getting ahead with anything. 0.95

00:10:38.700 So, he obviously knows he's not going to bullshit any more Canadians in regards to this coming election.

00:10:45.760 He said some wonderful things about going forward and doing the right thing.

00:10:50.460 And I'll leave some links at the bottom here, but this is just off the top of my head.

00:10:54.500 Everything that he's said on every major news channel, and especially some of my friends in independent media,

00:11:00.080 who have weighed in on what he's said, too. 1.00

00:11:03.980 No, he's full of shit. 1.00

00:11:05.240 This whole party's full of shit. 1.00

00:11:07.120 No. 1.00

00:11:08.400 No.

00:11:08.900 I've got a thing here from Daniel Boardman.

00:11:12.440 He's an independent journalist.

00:11:13.420 You'll find him on Facebook.

00:11:15.240 A very, very articulate young man.

00:11:17.600 Basically, Trudeau's corruption scandal gets much worse as he blocks the RCMP investigation into the S&C-Lavalin scandal.

00:11:24.840 And that's the thing.

00:11:26.460 They've done nothing.

00:11:27.780 And I'm surprised how the RCMP is playing hesitant.

00:11:32.920 Regardless of the political interference or not, we've got leaders that broke the law.

00:11:39.760 They should persecute.

00:11:41.160 They should prosecute.

00:11:42.520 They should investigate.

00:11:44.740 Right?

00:11:46.000 That's just my thing, you know.

00:11:48.620 From the Canadians for Liberty page,

00:11:50.400 Trudeau's corruption scandal gets so much worse that he blocks the RCMP investigation into the S&C-Lavalin scandal.

00:11:55.280 Did the media report on this obstruction of justice?

00:11:58.040 Nope.

00:11:58.320 Instead, it was total focus on day one of the election cycle.

00:12:01.880 There's a lot of noise about Trudeau potentially being indicted by the ICCC.

00:12:05.740 Crimes against humanity.

00:12:08.520 Well.

00:12:08.680 And John Bolton is out of the White House.

00:12:13.540 That's in American news. 0.95

00:12:14.740 Feminists prove what they think women are weaklings. 1.00

00:12:17.260 More transgender slainess hits Canada. 1.00

00:12:19.500 I remember 9-11, of course.

00:12:21.940 And Mr. Boardman explains the real truth, reconciliation, the indigenous people that can save Canada and the West.

00:12:27.760 So, I highly suggest you look at him, Mr. Boardman.

00:12:33.900 Great little reporter. 1.00

00:12:36.080 Nice little channel he's got set up there.

00:12:37.360 I'll leave a link to his page there at the end of this broadcast.

00:12:39.420 But, no, he's got some really good facts.

00:12:41.980 And he really has a very, very unbiased approach to things.

00:12:46.120 Factual little guy.

00:12:47.600 Got a lot of respect for him.

00:12:48.380 I like his show.

00:12:48.900 So, I suggest you guys tune into that as well.

00:12:52.860 Yeah, the whole SNC-Lavalin thing, of course.

00:12:54.980 You know, let's brush another rug.

00:12:55.920 It's an election cycle.

00:12:57.240 Don't upset the election. 0.99

00:12:58.720 But, who the fuck cares? 0.99

00:13:01.820 You know, who's the deputy prime minister? 0.99

00:13:04.020 That's a good question.

00:13:05.380 You know, does anyone know that question?

00:13:07.800 Does anyone really care? 0.99

00:13:11.380 If it's anything like fucking Sockboy, Potato Puppet. 0.99

00:13:14.300 No, I don't care. 0.99

00:13:18.900 I don't care what he is, I don't care what he does, or who she is, or whoever. 0.99

00:13:23.400 As far as I'm concerned, ladies and gentlemen, they're all corrupt. 1.00

00:13:25.360 They're all fucked. 1.00

00:13:26.540 They don't deserve my two cents worth. 1.00

00:13:30.660 No.

00:13:32.720 I guess he's not doing the frickin' city TV debates either, sponsored by McLean's Magazine.

00:13:39.180 I guess he's too good for that.

00:13:40.520 And I think he's going to skip the Monk debates, too.

00:13:43.560 Now, I guess they're not the official debates of this election cycle.

00:13:47.540 So, needless to say, any leader who does not care to show up to a debate, as far as I'm concerned, is not a leader.

00:13:54.180 And I don't care if you're liberal, conservative, PPC, libertarian, green, NDP, rhinoceros, pixie dust farmer, whatever.

00:14:02.500 You're not going to show up to a debate, and you've basically got nothing to stand on, whether it's a sanctioned debate or not.

00:14:11.140 You know?

00:14:12.160 Viewers and consumers want to know where these people stand.

00:14:15.860 And I'm sure there's still an abundance of people out there that want to keep the liberals in power,

00:14:19.800 because they think everything's fuckin' hunky-dory and full of roses and puppy dogs, right? 0.51

00:14:27.340 Until they see their tax receipts, until they see their tax bills come next fiscal year.

00:14:32.380 And then they'll talk about how they don't like this and don't like that.

00:14:36.000 So, as I stressed before numerous times, ladies and gentlemen, when it comes to electing leadership in this country,

00:14:43.420 look and listen for the best person to do the job.

00:14:49.280 All right?

00:14:49.840 Don't worry about simple things like parody.

00:14:52.180 Parody is irrelevant.

00:14:53.920 Let's worry about the best people for the job.

00:14:56.560 Don't worry about coloring books.

00:14:58.100 Don't worry about gender. 0.59

00:14:59.440 Don't worry about identities.

00:15:00.440 I am so sick and tired of identity politics calling the shots for a handful of people

00:15:06.020 when there's a majority of persons out there that need to get things done,

00:15:10.620 i.e. a majority of people from the First Nations that need clean water,

00:15:14.720 i.e. a majority of people that are able to work in Western Canada in the energy sector,

00:15:19.500 people that need to work in Ontario again back in the auto sector, right?

00:15:24.280 Cleaning up the debts, cleaning up the mistakes, right?

00:15:27.200 I hate to say it, but if a conservative government gets in, there's going to be some drawbacks, folks.

00:15:33.820 That's just a reality.

00:15:36.560 Doug Ford had to do it for the liberals, you know?

00:15:40.440 And Manitoba is probably going to have to do it again to keep things in check from their last NDP or slash liberal fiasco, right?

00:15:48.540 And besides, they won a PC majority again. 0.99

00:15:52.060 You know, there's not enough liberals left in Manitoba to give a shit. 0.99

00:15:54.840 And good riddance, too. 0.99

00:15:55.820 Well, there's nothing liberal about the Liberal Party anymore.

00:16:00.260 We all know that.

00:16:01.040 You've heard me ramble on about that enough.

00:16:03.460 But more cold feet again?

00:16:07.460 I don't know.

00:16:08.160 I tell you, it's just irresponsibility, you know?

00:16:12.280 Everybody's up in arms because Miss McKenna is being harassed by people. 0.99

00:16:16.000 Or someone's making this comment, making that comment to deter us from the federal election.

00:16:21.220 All of these politicians need a security detail because they're harassing comments. 1.00

00:16:25.260 Well, duh.

00:16:26.420 What the hell do you expect? 1.00

00:16:28.280 As Forrest Gump said, stupid as the stupid does. 1.00

00:16:31.860 Well, these are magic shows. 1.00

00:16:33.380 Come on. 1.00

00:16:35.520 You say stupid things, climate Barbie. 1.00

00:16:37.420 Miss McKenna, what do you expect to be done? 1.00

00:16:39.860 You're supposed to be the minister of the environment, and you're worried about fucking taxes. 0.98

00:16:42.960 And I've said this in my last video, too, ladies and gentlemen, so this is nothing new here. 0.96

00:16:46.200 So, I just, this election, you know, this election is just, I think it's really important, you know?

00:16:54.300 Every election is important, but I think this one is very important because it's going to direct us, hopefully, into something better than what we have, you know?

00:17:06.580 Where we can actually have a little more dignity and pride and respect for ourselves and really enjoy our lives without worrying about a fucking carbon tax and worry about hurt feelings and worry about someone's identity. 0.87

00:17:19.600 When we start working as a country again and worrying about our country's identity and reflecting on the people that have sacrificed for this country and the people that have given a shit, who've laid down their lives for this country. 0.97

00:17:36.580 In whatever capacity. 0.98

00:17:39.700 And I got a message for some of those arrogant trolls out there, especially one that trolled my page there last week. 0.99

00:17:46.140 Now, if you think you're so goddamn fucking superior, why aren't you running for office? 0.99

00:17:52.160 Hmm? 0.99

00:17:52.880 Why aren't you out there waving the flag? 0.99

00:17:56.860 I'm not going to mention your name, Buckeye, but I will fucking tell you, if you don't have the fucking balls to do it, don't you demand that I do it either. 0.99

00:18:06.180 Hey? 0.99

00:18:07.500 I'm out here speaking my fucking mind because it's my goddamn right, just like it's your right to sit there and troll my page. 1.00

00:18:14.900 But if you're going to get nasty and get stupid and regurgitate your communist bullshit, I'm just deleting you. 1.00

00:18:22.000 Shit simple. 1.00

00:18:24.080 Right? 1.00

00:18:24.300 Take your hammer and sickle and stick it where the sun don't shine.

00:18:27.680 Take your proletariat and stick it where the sun don't shine. 1.00

00:18:31.480 Because there's a lot of Canucks I know, personally, that would not tolerate any kind of communist manifesto that you can throw up.

00:18:40.800 Because we'll just throw it right back at you. 1.00

00:18:43.580 Shit simple. 1.00

00:18:45.740 Right? 1.00

00:18:45.980 And to the same trolls out there that stand behind the whole liberal platform, you know, start thinking liberal then.

00:18:54.400 Start being liberal.

00:18:56.240 Don't just follow the parade and worry about socks and feelings.

00:19:00.400 Start worrying about longevity of people here.

00:19:02.460 Start worrying about income.

00:19:04.220 Start worrying about actual income equality with people being able to work and not just take.

00:19:10.520 Think about that.

00:19:13.660 Puts things in perspective now, doesn't it, kids?

00:19:16.660 Anyhow, to my listeners and my fan base, thank you once again for your beautiful support.

00:19:21.960 I know last night my live feed wasn't the best.

00:19:25.160 But thank you once again to everyone who come out to say hello and ask me a few questions.

00:19:29.840 It was really appreciated.

00:19:31.500 I'm going to be working on another live feed in the near future.

00:19:34.980 So stay tuned for that.

00:19:36.740 And chances are it will probably be on YouTube.

00:19:39.580 So pay attention to YouTube for another live feed.

00:19:42.580 I try to do it in Facebook and for some reason my camera does not configure to its software somehow.

00:19:48.020 I don't know.

00:19:48.540 I'm not a technical genius.

00:19:50.020 But it just seemed like a real joke.

00:19:53.580 I just gave my head a shake here thinking, okay, what the hell can go wrong here?

00:19:59.120 So stay tuned for that.

00:20:00.320 Another live feed will be coming up shortly.

00:20:02.960 Sometime in the near future.

00:20:05.980 As well as more fundraising.

00:20:08.260 So if you want to contribute to the Veterans Association Food Bank, there is a link on my Facebook page with my logo and Veterans Affairs.

00:20:17.640 There's some money going into it right now.

00:20:19.200 So please consider giving $5, $10, $20, $25 or whatever you can give.

00:20:24.860 I like to make sure that they get about $1,000 by the 1st of November because they're a great service.

00:20:30.660 They help a lot of vets in the Calgary area.

00:20:32.240 I personally volunteer my time with them.

00:20:36.420 All they have to do, they know, we arrange that.

00:20:39.480 They give me a phone call.

00:20:41.020 I will meet somebody halfway, pick up whatever parcel or sort of arrangement somebody needs, and I will drive it and deliver it myself to whatever veteran is in need.

00:20:51.860 So not only am I helping to raise that money, but I'm volunteering some of my time there, too, just to prove my legitimacy while I'm doing this podcast and also supplement my income as well, too.

00:21:03.380 So if you feel like giving to the Veterans Food Bank directly, you can go right ahead.

00:21:08.080 You can go right to their website.

00:21:09.260 I'll leave a link at the bottom of the podcast here where you can go directly and give a donation.

00:21:13.200 $25 or more gets you a tax receipt, which is a good thing.

00:21:17.280 Or if you want to give to me directly, 30% of everything that I receive via donations and or merchandise, 30% of every sale and donation will go to the Calgary Veterans Association Food Bank.

00:21:33.120 All right.

00:21:33.720 All other pertinent information will be on my website at www.crustycanuck.ca.

00:21:39.280 Or you can reach me through Facebook at Krusty Canuck or on the Instagram at Canuck Krusty.

00:21:49.340 So that being said, please consider donating to the Veterans Association Food Bank and to my cause as well, too.

00:21:57.040 I am working, but the extra income does help.

00:22:00.400 And also please consider a donation, a $5 to $10 donation a month, committed a month.

00:22:07.000 We'll get you a free t-shirt, a $3 to $5 donation a month.

00:22:10.400 We'll get you a free coffee mug of your choice.

00:22:13.020 You can check it out at teespring.com under Krusty Canuck and you'll see all my merch there.

00:22:18.380 Anyway.

00:22:19.740 And if you feel like just sending me a comment or two, you can reach my website, too, at www.crustycanuck.ca.

00:22:28.140 And honorable mentions will go to everyone who has come out last night to say hello on my live feed.

00:22:37.200 I am repeating it, but still, just an honorable mention to everyone who has come out and said hello.

00:22:41.120 Thank you for coming.

00:22:43.260 And thanks for being there.

00:22:44.780 Well, it's nice to get people out there, get the word going, especially in this trying time when we have an upcoming election. 0.98

00:22:49.720 And just to prove how our leadership doesn't really give a shit. 0.99

00:22:55.860 And we have to get out there and get rid of them, folks. 0.99

00:22:58.760 And honorable mention to some of my buddies back in Ontario.

00:23:03.260 You know, I promised I wouldn't mention your names, but, you know, I'm thinking about you.

00:23:07.940 And we know the struggle is real, but, hey, I got your back, boys.

00:23:12.220 Family and friends back in Ontario, too.

00:23:14.900 Well, miss yous.

00:23:16.300 Thinking about yous.

00:23:17.180 And I'm going to try to get to Ontario sometime, hopefully in the next six months, to say hello, see how things are going.

00:23:24.980 But we'll see what we can do.

00:23:27.620 Anyhow, that's been the Krusty Canuck podcast for September 11th, 2019.

00:23:36.080 Remember, just consider the association's charity I'm working with and donations to myself and to my causes here.

00:23:43.380 And I'll try to get a video up again next week sometime.

00:23:47.540 But in the meantime, take care of yourselves and your loved ones.

00:23:53.300 And remember, humanity and merit wins the day.

00:23:58.480 Take care, and I'll see you next time.

00:24:00.280 Bye for now.

00:24:00.840 Bye for now.

00:24:00.860 Bye for now.

00:24:02.840 Bye for now.

00:24:04.840 Bye for now.

00:24:06.840 Bye for now.

00:24:08.840 Bye for now.

00:24:10.840 Bye for now.
