00:00:00.900 Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. It's a beautiful 2nd of March, 2025. Spring is almost
00:00:06.680 upon us. With that, more tariffs coming on the 4th, two days from now. Tsk, tsk, tsk.
00:00:13.420 This episode of the Question Act Podcast, episode 346, badgering, insults, deflections,
00:00:18.540 and still no government. Yes, the aftermath of Trump chewing out Zelensky and how our
00:00:25.200 government and lack of government is reacting. Listener and viewer discretion will be advised
00:00:30.280 because I will swear, smoke cigarettes, make funny faces, and of course, make fun of leaders
00:00:33.740 as I see it. See you in a bit.
00:00:55.200 From Western Canada, this is the Krusty Canuck Podcast, a Canadian veteran's point of view
00:01:03.920 on political, social, economic issues, and life. Here's Krusty.
00:01:11.280 That's right, ladies and gentlemen, episode 346 of the Krusty Canuck Podcast. Badgering,
00:01:15.640 insults, deflections, and still no government. Hope you've all had a great weekend so far.
00:01:20.900 This podcast is also brought to you in part by Veterans of Freedom Network. That's right,
00:01:25.320 Veterans of Freedom Stand 2, and coming soon, Veterans of Freedom TV. Stay posted for that.
00:01:30.340 Hi, everybody. I'm your host, Krusty Canuck. Hope you've had a wonderful weekend thus far,
00:01:33.820 even though the drama, political drama, social drama, and all this other dramas have been plaguing
00:01:40.020 us on a daily basis. Just a reminder, too, if you're lucky to hear what you see, click like,
00:01:44.300 subscribe, share this podcast, all of your social media platforms. Give me a thumbs up,
00:01:48.420 comments, all that kind of good stuff. And even if you see this live, let me know where you're
00:01:52.620 writing from. Even if you write in the comments section there, too, whether you find this on
00:01:55.840 Rumble or on the tube, let me know where you're writing from. Give me your thoughts. Give me a
00:02:00.500 thumbs up, whatever. Just let me know, just so I can get a consensus of where I'm reaching to,
00:02:04.520 ladies and gentlemen, considering I'm getting this and that all the time. So please, just don't be shy.
00:02:09.120 Let me know where you're writing from. Anyhow, as the title card said, you know, a lot of insults were
00:02:13.340 flown over the aftermath of Donald Trump and J.D. Vance, the President of the United States and the
00:02:18.840 Vice President, respectively, chewing out Mr. Zelensky for basically asking for not showing any
00:02:23.120 kind of gratitude. Now, I've watched some podcasts since then, listened to some reports, independent
00:02:28.360 media alike. And firstly, I'm getting really sick and tired of this fucking war. What say you,
00:02:34.860 ladies and gentlemen? I noticed that you might be asking, why is my mustache a bit darker and the
00:02:40.200 sides here are a bit darker? Probably because I dye it and I'm not afraid to admit it. Okay, I'm not
00:02:44.800 afraid to admit it. I'm not afraid to admit that I dye my mustache because I don't want it to be
00:02:54.000 totally gray just yet, but that's besides the point. I'm getting sick of the war. I'm getting sick of
00:02:59.620 hearing about it, getting sick of the plight of it. And I've seen some footage of individuals in
00:03:05.900 certain uniforms, grabbing certain individuals off a certain street in certain cities in a certain
00:03:10.580 country, basically press ganging whatever they have to do to fight this war here. And now we have
00:03:18.960 a Prime Minister still who's technically still in charge until the Liberal election coming next week.
00:03:25.200 I believe it's a week today, if I'm not mistaken. And he's doing his best to wheel and deal and
00:03:31.360 negotiate more cash, more advances and more help to the plight of the Ukrainian military against the
00:03:38.620 Russian onslaught. Now, as I've said before, I am for the little guy. I don't really mind
00:03:43.680 helping the little guy out too. But I also believe in letting the little guy have a chance to help
00:03:50.720 himself or themselves or they selves or however you want to word it now in today's modern woke English.
00:03:56.520 And it's becoming a farce as far as I'm concerned, a real farce, because here in this country, we were
00:04:05.480 being handed a card in more or less better tariffs for the Americans, i.e. Donald Trump and his
00:04:12.940 conglomerate rather than certain American businesses. And we've got this so-called rebuttal plan dollar for
00:04:18.620 dollar. And yet all three major leaders in this country are standing by the whole dollar for dollar
00:04:25.300 tariff issue. Now come the fourth is Tuesday. I don't know what's going to happen. I don't I don't
00:04:34.640 because I work in an industry that could be very, very finicky. It can be unpredictable. And I could lose
00:04:43.360 my job. And I don't want that. Considering I'd still get a pension for my time in the military. And there is
00:04:53.880 an income coming in. I can help my wife and I. I don't know what's going to happen.
00:05:01.560 And you would think that the people that you vote for, the people that you pay,
00:05:06.320 OK, because they do get a great salary, ladies and gentlemen. There's a report out there from
00:05:09.960 Rebel News in regards to what Justin Trudeau has spent on groceries this past year.
00:05:15.100 And my wife and I, we've had some trouble with our groceries in the past six months. So it puts
00:05:24.440 things in perspective. Now, there's a thing here from global television from a few days back
00:05:29.240 that talk about the liberals rising in the polls. Now, I kind of find that odd. I find that odd
00:05:36.300 because we have seen what the liberal brand has done to this country since the better part of 2015.
00:05:41.440 Regardless if you bought the Sonny Way's charm from the PM and his 50-50 cabinet, or whether you bought
00:05:50.200 the charm when he justified $10.5 million to one individual, and you more or less told a veteran
00:05:56.100 that he was asking for too much, or if you bought the charm when you stood by the S&C Lavalin scam,
00:06:01.400 or the possible donation of $500 million to the WE Foundation, or how he didn't want
00:06:11.180 Canadian oil and natural gas to go to Europe because it didn't make a good business case,
00:06:16.020 or when he decided that every gun owner in this country is a criminal. But, you know, you decide.
00:06:21.500 You decide. And then bringing in the carbon taxing, increasing the cost of living to every Canadian,
00:06:28.120 and bringing in more inflationary means in the name of safety, when a lot of that money was just
00:06:33.220 given away irresponsibly, plus what he has funded around the globe in the name of woke-isms,
00:06:39.340 in the name of gender parodies, in the name of identity politic, rather than actual looking
00:06:45.080 after Canada, as any elected official should. But who am I to criticize, right? Who am I to sit
00:06:52.700 and worry? And who are we? I'm having trouble with this microphone again. Who are we to sit and
00:06:59.140 decide, you know, what the Prime Minister should do, right? Because we are just minions. We don't have
00:07:04.880 a voice. We shouldn't have a voice ever, right? We shouldn't have a voice under any circumstance,
00:07:09.660 because this is supposed to be a great democracy, and we have all these people in front of us
00:07:13.980 defending it. All these brand new patriots coming out of the woodwork and saying, if you don't
00:07:18.840 support this, then you're not Canadian. Or if you don't support the war in Ukraine, then you're a
00:07:23.280 fascist. Or if you don't support this decision, then you must be an Islamophobe, a bigot, a misogynist.
00:07:29.200 First, whatever happened to Canadians standing up for Canada and Canadian values? That's my
00:07:35.040 question. Whatever happened to Canadians standing up on guard for thee? What happened to the
00:07:40.760 patriots that I served with? What happened to the patriots that called the shots for us
00:07:44.660 in Afghanistan, and they're sitting in Ottawa right now, counting beans, worrying about the
00:07:48.660 social spectrum, when they should worry about defending this country? Now, that's my question
00:07:53.160 to you individuals out there, too. And to the individuals that keep on voting for wokeism,
00:07:59.200 do you really think it's doing all of us a favor? Do you think it's helping us in the
00:08:03.580 long run? Right? Nobody believes in merit anymore. Nobody believes that the best person
00:08:08.660 gets the job. Right? No, no. We have to go along to get along. Right? Because now it's
00:08:13.820 all about comfort and safety, rather than reality and real sacrifice. But, you know, who am I
00:08:18.760 to criticize our government sacrifice? They haven't done shit, ladies and gentlemen. Like, we
00:08:25.980 forget that they're not in parliament anymore. It was prorogued by the PM because he needed
00:08:29.940 some time to gather his thoughts and have a robust election. Right? How is that election
00:08:36.140 going, too? Obviously, Mr. Carney's being groomed and shooed in for the position. We all watched
00:08:42.180 that liberal debate and I wanted to puke. But, you know, what does my opinion matter? Right?
00:08:47.720 If mine doesn't matter, I guess yours doesn't matter either. Right? Right back after this.

00:09:07.700 And you're back, ladies and gentlemen, on episode 346 of the Krusty Canuck podcast.
00:09:12.160 Badgering, insults, deflections, and still no government. Hi, everybody. I'm your host, Krusty Canuck.
00:09:17.600 Just a reminder, too, if you're lucky to hear what you see, click like, subscribe, share this podcast,
00:09:20.880 all of your social media platforms. Do not be shy, ladies and gentlemen.
00:09:24.720 Give me a comment. Give me a thumbs up. Tell me your thoughts and all this, too.
00:09:27.760 I'm also going to get rid of some of the donation links I have in my description, too.
00:09:32.740 I'm just not being traded fairly by the whole Buy Me A Coffee app because it's relatively owned by Stripe.
00:09:37.960 And guess who owns Stripe, ladies and gentlemen? That's right, Mr. Mark Carney.
00:09:43.300 He says he doesn't own it right now. He says he has nothing to do with it.
00:09:46.460 However, I'm pretty sure he's got his greasy hands involved in it somehow, too.
00:09:51.340 So I'm just going to leave a PayPal link and my email link if you want to donate at your leisure.
00:09:56.940 E-transfer, what have you, too. I don't expect oodles cash, but every little bit helps, ladies and gentlemen.
00:10:01.860 So do what you can. Help Krusty Canuck out and carry on as per.
00:10:06.740 I'll still make episodes, you know, but every little bit helps in these trying times, ladies and gentlemen.
00:10:11.080 So more badgering, more insults, deflections, and, of course, no more government because we're not going to know until what happens next week until we get a new liberal leader, the de facto prime minister.
00:10:20.980 Oh, yeah. Yeah. And more virtue signaling.
00:10:23.380 And speaking of virtue signaling, I'm going to queue up a video.
00:10:25.340 Miss Freeland was on the recent episode of Real Time with Bill Maher there in the States.
00:10:31.100 So it's interesting what she's had to say.
00:10:33.080 I will play that video for you in its entirety, at least her interview with Mr. Bill Maher.
00:10:38.240 Not a bad comedian. A little too left-leaning for me, but he's very well down to earth, and I've always enjoyed his work.
00:10:44.260 So, ladies and gentlemen, you decide.
00:10:46.060 But here's the thing from Global in regards to the liberal issue, meaning that they're up in the polls.
00:10:52.680 And like I always say, ladies and gentlemen, you guys decide.
00:10:56.120 You know, my opinion is this.
00:10:57.600 I think there's something a little more shady going on in the works, but I'm not going to get all conspiratorial here.
00:11:05.260 I'm just going to really play it for your understanding.
00:11:09.760 And I'll keep the captions on, too, in case some of you have trouble hearing.
00:11:14.380 But I'll just play it for you.
00:11:16.940 And like I say, guys, you decide.
00:11:18.780 You know, you decide.
00:11:20.760 I just get so sick and tired of these what-ifs.
00:11:24.500 It's just, to me, it's just, it's turning into a media, media dog sandwich or a dog's breakfast.
00:11:29.600 For the first time since 2021, the federal liberals are leading against the conservatives.
00:11:35.920 They have overturned a 26-point deficit.
00:11:38.560 New polling done exclusively for Global News shows the liberals in first place among decided voters at 38 percent.
00:11:45.900 And the conservatives trailing behind by two points at 36 percent.
00:11:50.980 For more on this, we're joined by Daryl Bricker, CEO of Ipsos Polling.
00:11:55.240 Thank you for joining us today, Daryl.
00:11:56.640 Now, this obviously comes after a series of events from both sides of the border.
00:12:01.760 What are some of the factors impacting the huge change?
00:12:05.880 Well, I think there's two things.
00:12:07.080 And either one of them just by themselves probably wouldn't be causing this.
00:12:10.620 The two things are the liberal leadership is changing.
00:12:13.540 Justin Trudeau has left and there's going to be a new leader of the Liberal Party.
00:12:16.880 And I think people are interested in seeing who that's going to be.
00:12:19.480 And then the second thing is the threat from south of the border has moved us off of litigating whatever the liberals did over the last 10 years to the here and now, which is dealing with the United States.
00:12:30.500 This data really touches on demographics and regions.
00:12:33.880 How does that the results of this really break down in terms of that?
00:12:37.400 Is it certain groups that are making these changes?
00:12:40.140 Where we've seen the biggest movement are in central Canada.
00:12:44.540 So in the province of Quebec and also Atlantic Canada, by the way, Atlantic Canada, Quebec, and in the province of Ontario, where the liberals and conservatives are very close.
00:12:54.760 But they haven't been close for quite a long time.
00:12:57.020 So it's basically everywhere west of the or east of the Ontario-Manitoba border that seems to be looking at the liberals more.
00:13:05.620 The conservatives are still looking pretty good in western Canada.
00:13:08.460 It's interesting because we have had some recent elections provincially and seen both a liberal and a conservative outcome from those.
00:13:15.900 Do you think that provincial and federal politics interact in that way and we see some changes?
00:13:21.060 Not so much.
00:13:22.180 I think people are really separating them in their minds.
00:13:24.880 I mean, it's interesting.
00:13:26.520 People think that what's going on in Ontario right now is something about free trade with the United States and Doug Ford being able to deal with Donald Trump.
00:13:34.100 But when we look at the issues and Global News is polling, free trade doesn't rank that high in terms of what's going on in the provincial election.
00:13:41.200 At the federal level, it's quite a different thing.
00:13:43.480 And people know that they're different parties and different leaders.
00:13:46.940 And what does that polling show in terms of an appetite for a federal election to come?
00:13:51.060 The highest we've seen it by in a very long time.
00:13:55.280 When we started looking at this for Global News back around the just before Justin Trudeau left, there really wasn't much of an appetite for an election.
00:14:02.640 Now there's overwhelming appetite for the lack of an election.
00:14:05.960 Eighty-six percent of Canadians say they want to have an election to put in place a government to deal with what's going on south of the border.
00:14:12.960 And almost half of us are saying they want it done immediately.
00:14:17.340 Did this look like a shock change that we wouldn't see continue polling that way?
00:14:22.820 Or does this seem like an increase that might continue?
00:14:26.220 Well, it's really hard to say.
00:14:28.180 When things get unstable, you really don't know necessarily where they're going to settle down.
00:14:32.940 But I think that, you know, the Liberals are having a really good role at the moment.
00:14:36.280 It's very difficult for the Conservatives to break through in this type of an environment because people are focused on what's going on in terms of our relationship with the United States.
00:14:45.280 And that's something that really the government carries.
00:14:48.220 But also party leadership campaigns always attract attention.
00:14:53.800 And we do typically see this type of change in party prospects.
00:14:57.820 So there's nothing really for the Conservatives to do in that context.
00:15:00.620 So they're going to have to find a way to punch through all of this and get their message back out there to Canadians, or it will just continue as it is.
00:15:08.120 Well, definitely a very big change we're seeing today.
00:15:10.380 Thank you very much, Daryl Bricker from Ipsos Polling, our CEO.
00:15:13.960 Thank you for joining us today.
00:15:15.940 Thanks for having me on.
00:15:19.020 Yeah, that's from Ipsos Poll.
00:15:21.360 There's been also accusations to them being somewhat biased in the world of politics.
00:15:26.280 However, you know, there's been a few episodes, my buddy Paul from Radio Reaction, Northern Perspective, Frank Fawn, I'll just name a few that have talked about how there is a rise in it.
00:15:37.920 And I like to tell my Ontario viewers, and especially my Quebec viewers out there too, do you honestly think that the liberal brand has done this country a favor?
00:15:46.960 Ask yourself that in regards to resource markets, free markets, small business, letting people do their thing, you know, letting people just carry on and have their lives in order, right?
00:16:01.660 Have they done a great job with that?
00:16:03.760 Ask yourself that question.
00:16:05.600 Are they going to turn around and do a great job in regards to what Blarney Carney says, what Commie Karina Gold says, what Tweaky Krista Freeland says, or what that Bayless guy says?
00:16:16.040 Who made a small fortune from respirators, by the way.
00:16:19.440 He was an MP for four years, and they went to his medical company, right?
00:16:23.340 And he made some money off a government contract.
00:16:26.620 And all four of them are vying for the liberal vote to become the inducted prime minister in case we have an election.
00:16:33.480 Now, you saw there 86% of the Canadians polled want an election.
00:16:38.360 So that's a good thing.
00:16:39.520 Now, is there any truth to that?
00:16:40.920 Who knows?
00:16:41.440 Because I'm, for one, I'm getting sick and tired of these polls.
00:16:43.860 I am.
00:16:45.440 I'm getting tired of it.
00:16:47.340 Because who do you believe now?
00:16:49.040 You know?
00:16:49.980 Every one of the three major parties has blown smoke up our tushes one way or the other.
00:16:54.500 And they have said wonderful things in regards to the economy.
00:16:57.880 Oh, we have a AAA credit rating.
00:16:59.800 Credit doesn't buy fucking groceries.
00:17:02.080 Credit doesn't keep the lights on.
00:17:04.360 Right?
00:17:04.880 Doesn't make sure little Billy and Beth get to their sports on time.
00:17:09.520 Someone's got to pay for that credit.
00:17:11.740 Who is it?
00:17:12.260 Hmm?
00:17:14.080 Interesting.
00:17:14.740 You and I.
00:17:16.280 It's that simple.
00:17:17.580 Right?
00:17:18.040 But then again, you know, like I said earlier in the show, well, what do we know, right?
00:17:21.080 We're just the plebes in this corporation called Canada.
00:17:24.840 Stay updated.

00:17:36.000 And you're back, ladies and gentlemen, episode 346 of the Krusty Canuck Podcast.
00:17:43.020 That's right.
00:17:43.340 Badgering, insults, deflections, and still no government.
00:17:47.220 So, once again, I will plea with the majority of the populace in this country, Ontario and Quebec.
00:17:53.400 You have the voting power, right?
00:17:56.480 You got the first past the post issue.
00:17:58.980 So, when it comes to bringing in a new prime minister, a new government, it will be the same thing as the Harper years, the same thing as the Maroony years.
00:18:06.600 Will this new liberal de facto PM, will it be just the same as Jean Chrétien?
00:18:12.380 Or just Trudeau point two-oh?
00:18:15.200 Not two-point-oh, point two-oh.
00:18:18.180 A smaller condensed version, like a can of soup, with half-fast goodness and more sodium for your heart.
00:18:26.720 Something to think about, ladies and gentlemen.
00:18:29.220 You know?
00:18:30.200 Like I said, I'm getting sick and tired of the whole Ukraine war issue.
00:18:32.880 I'm getting sick and tired of worrying about the Israeli war.
00:18:34.540 Or, how come we don't have enough Canadians worrying about Canada?
00:18:38.360 Right?
00:18:39.360 Anyone can wave that flag behind me.
00:18:40.900 Anyone can do that.
00:18:41.760 Anyone can scream and yell and bark orders.
00:18:43.740 Okay?
00:18:43.880 The real talent is where the heart is.
00:18:45.620 Is the heart involved in that flag?
00:18:48.560 Regardless of what flag you fought under, there's three of them behind here.
00:18:52.120 Behind me here.
00:18:52.640 You got the red ensign on one side.
00:18:53.940 You got the Union Jack in the middle.
00:18:55.020 And you got the Maple Leaf on the other.
00:18:57.640 Okay?
00:18:58.840 All these flags represented Canada at one time.
00:19:03.060 Okay?
00:19:03.420 Okay?
00:19:04.540 My grandfather fought under the Red Ensign.
00:19:09.200 Friends of mine.
00:19:11.580 Patrons I have met throughout the years have fought under the Red Ensign.
00:19:15.360 Right?
00:19:15.860 You can go back to the First World War and people who fought under the Union Jack.
00:19:18.920 And then from 1965 until now, every mission that Canada was on, whether it be peacekeeping, peacemaking, humanitarian, and combat in Afghanistan.
00:19:30.240 A lot of my brothers and sisters fought with the Red and White.
00:19:34.240 So we all fought under this country here.
00:19:38.280 Regardless of how you look or how dystopic you want to be about it.
00:19:42.180 Regardless of the dark chapters in our history.
00:19:44.820 Regardless of the darkness that's constantly being thrown at us.
00:19:48.640 Because somebody at some major university somewhere who's making 250,000 bucks a year wants to dismantle this nation.
00:19:56.040 And how many of the sheep follow that?
00:19:59.500 How many of the people follow that doctrine?
00:20:03.940 Because we have to seek utopia rather than seek reality.
00:20:07.400 We have to seek more comfort rather than actual security and peace and freedom.
00:20:13.680 Right?
00:20:15.880 But I'm still going to address here.
00:20:19.140 I just get so fucking fed up with the teetotaling virtue in regards to, oh yes, we're going to do this now.
00:20:26.960 Do that now.
00:20:29.200 Which brings me to my next segment here.
00:20:31.700 Krista Freeland, Freebase Freeland.
00:20:33.180 You know, Mr. Speaker.
00:20:34.560 Yeah.
00:20:34.780 She has a nasty habit of talking to Canadians as if she's reading a book to us at a fucking public library.
00:20:42.060 But this was her on the Bill Maher show recently.
00:20:45.680 You know, real time with Bill Maher.
00:20:46.840 You can find him on HBO, I think.
00:20:49.600 HBO Canada.
00:20:51.060 But I will present this to you.
00:20:53.060 Submitted for your approval.
00:20:55.020 You know.
00:20:56.360 And you decide, ladies and gentlemen.
00:20:57.880 Because once again, we're having idiocy call the shots.
00:21:01.320 And listen to her carefully when it comes to virtue signaling.
00:21:06.120 Okay?
00:21:07.220 It's really an interesting what she has to say.
00:21:10.080 I'll cue this up here, ladies and gentlemen.
00:21:12.540 And you folks, listen.
00:21:15.840 First he comes for the non-binary.
00:21:18.180 Now he's coming for the bilingual.
00:21:19.960 Not a great week for Emilia Perez.
00:21:21.520 We've got a great show.
00:21:24.440 We have Rob Emanuel and Farid Zakaria.
00:21:27.460 Oh, that's going to be great.
00:21:28.660 But first up, she is the former Deputy Prime Minister of Canada.
00:21:32.520 Now a candidate to be its next Prime Minister, the Honorable Chrystia Freeland.
00:21:38.040 Hi.
00:21:41.480 Hi.
00:21:42.000 You look like you are in full campaign mode there.
00:21:55.700 I am.
00:21:56.580 And if there are any Canadians here.
00:21:58.520 Oh, I know there are.
00:22:01.240 They're not all Canadian.
00:22:02.560 Well, you are going to be the next Prime Minister of Canada.
00:22:07.620 And we're very proud here.
00:22:08.700 Because you were on our show many times in the past.
00:22:12.000 You are the finance minister just until recently, right?
00:22:16.520 That's right.
00:22:16.980 When you were on our show, what was your title?
00:22:18.620 I was the U.S. Managing Editor of the Financial Times.
00:22:21.460 The Financial Times.
00:22:22.600 Well, you're moving up in the world.
00:22:24.200 And now you're going to be, I guess, the governor of our 51st state.
00:22:28.940 Never.
00:22:30.420 Never.
00:22:30.820 That is not the job I'm campaigning for.
00:22:34.540 And I want to be really clear, Bill.
00:22:36.700 Because Canadians, we started off being sad because Americans, like, you're our friends.
00:22:44.860 You're our neighbors.
00:22:46.040 And it was just a shock for Canadians.
00:22:49.400 But then Canadians got really angry.
00:22:51.960 Yeah.
00:22:52.140 Because it's the President of the United States is saying repeatedly that he wants to use economic coercion to force us to become the 51st state.
00:23:03.860 I mean, do you take it seriously or do you think it's just trolling?
00:23:08.700 No, I take it seriously.
00:23:10.200 And Canadians do, too.
00:23:11.860 I am in full campaign mode.
00:23:13.580 And so, a couple of weeks ago, I was in a small city called Saskatoon.
00:23:19.720 And a little four-year-old girl came up to me with her mother.
00:23:23.400 Oh, here comes a lie.
00:23:24.640 Yeah.
00:23:25.040 And she said to me in a serious way a little four-year-old can, can you stop Trump from invading Canada?
00:23:32.200 So, right now, we are a country where four-year-old children are saying, how do we stop this guy from invading my country?
00:23:40.140 Okay.
00:23:40.480 So, I have a question for you.
00:23:41.640 Can you stop Trump from invading Canada?
00:23:44.800 Yep.
00:23:45.060 Here we go again.
00:23:45.820 Four-year-old girl, so precocious enough.
00:23:47.480 Are you going to stop a big bad man from invading my country?
00:23:50.060 As if, Chris Chet.
00:23:51.560 As if.
00:23:58.800 I never thought you and four-year-old girls from Saskatoon had that much in common, but I'll tell you what.
00:24:04.960 Yes, I can.
00:24:06.800 And not because of me, but because of Canadians.
00:24:10.140 You know, Canadians, we're not really people who, you know, wear our flag on our lapel.
00:24:20.440 But right now, there is this wave of patriotism across Canada.
00:24:25.840 Hockey fans are just like singing, oh, Canada.
00:24:29.420 Restaurants are pulling U.S. wine from their menu.
00:24:32.440 Snowbirds, it's a cold winter, but snowbirds are not flying south.
00:24:36.320 I'm wearing a Tim Horton cap these days.
00:24:38.620 Let's do it!
00:24:44.160 I'm Team Drake.
00:24:47.360 How about that?
00:24:49.280 Yes!
00:24:49.680 But, I mean, the truth is, this has helped your campaign.
00:24:55.020 I mean, you were the liberal.
00:24:56.800 Now, this is, you're about to have the primary, basically, is how we would describe it.
00:25:00.820 If you get that, because Trudeau's out, he's already quit.
00:25:03.860 You were in his cabinet.
00:25:04.860 You would become then the liberal leader.
00:25:06.580 And then in the election, if you won, you know, the liberals were way behind in the polls until Trump did this.
00:25:12.500 He kind of saved your ass.
00:25:15.260 Is that not true?
00:25:17.300 I think that the election now...
00:25:20.420 I'll stop right there, Ms. Freeland.
00:25:22.000 Yes, it's because of his rhetoric.
00:25:24.160 You guys got together and started motivating yourselves a little bit better.
00:25:28.160 Honestly, really.
00:25:29.560 You know?
00:25:30.620 A year ago, you never gave two shits about the nation.
00:25:33.180 Now, all of a sudden, you're waving the flag?
00:25:35.280 Hmm.
00:25:35.720 The ballot question in the liberal leadership race and in the general election is, who can stand up for Canada and who can fight for Canada?
00:25:46.080 You guys can stand up for Canada.
00:25:48.920 And that's, like, the pitch I'm making, Bill, is I'm saying to Canadians, I can fight for you and I can win.
00:25:56.820 Right, but as soon as the conservative here in America said he was going to invade Canada, suddenly the conservatives in Canada didn't look too good.
00:26:04.780 I mean, the guy you will be running against, Paul Pierre...
00:26:09.340 How do we say his name?
00:26:13.040 Pierre...
00:26:13.760 Well, I call him Maple Syrup Mega.
00:26:17.020 Or...
00:26:17.420 Of course, that doesn't help with my pronunciation.
00:26:27.920 Sorry!
00:26:28.440 Uh, and also, like, you know what?
00:26:31.880 This is sad to me, that everybody becomes more like America in our worst kind of ways.
00:26:36.320 I remember seeing an ad not that long ago when I was playing up in Canada.
00:26:40.060 It was the campaign season.
00:26:42.260 It was almost comically polite.
00:26:44.880 Whoever Trudeau was running against.
00:26:47.100 I mean, it was ridiculous.
00:26:48.200 They certainly weren't calling each other names.
00:26:50.380 But I hear this guy, Pierre...
00:26:52.440 Paulieff.
00:26:53.860 Oh, Paulieff.
00:26:55.380 I had it with the poutine.
00:26:57.240 It's terrific.
00:26:59.060 Well, I heard you talking about bilingualism.
00:27:01.680 That's actually our thing.
00:27:03.180 I know.
00:27:03.700 We are bilingual.
00:27:04.120 Right.
00:27:04.600 Yeah.
00:27:05.020 But who is this guy?
00:27:06.780 I never heard of him.
00:27:08.240 I mean, I should maybe, but I try to follow a little bit of Canada.
00:27:11.260 Who is he?
00:27:11.940 And he sounds very Trumpy.
00:27:13.560 I mean, this is sad to me, that people in Canada are losing their polite.
00:27:17.600 Well, I think it's sad for us, too.
00:27:21.680 And he is pretty Trumpy.
00:27:24.240 And I think he built a campaign on trying to imitate Trump.
00:27:28.820 But now that Canadians...
00:27:31.340 Okay.
00:27:31.880 Firstly, where the hell did he imitate Donald Trump?
00:27:34.820 Yeah.
00:27:35.040 He said Canada first for very good fucking reason.
00:27:37.980 To keep Canadian resources and make him bigger and stronger and put him on the world stage.
00:27:42.540 Miss Freeland, shall I remind you that you didn't want that?
00:27:47.080 Neither did your buddy Justin.
00:27:48.780 Definitely not Mark Carney.
00:27:50.000 Not Miss Gold.
00:27:50.860 And definitely not Mr. Bayless.
00:27:52.420 But now you're starting to wake up to that fact.
00:27:54.520 Oh, yeah.
00:27:55.420 Coattail ride much?
00:27:56.820 And see.
00:27:57.580 President Trump wanting to turn us into the 51st state.
00:28:01.300 It's not going so well.
00:28:02.360 And look, Canadians are very smart.
00:28:04.580 And Canadians understand that right now what we need the most is someone who can stand up for our country.
00:28:12.540 So, Justin Trudeau, who's on his way out, used to be very popular.
00:28:22.920 I mean, he still has his fans.
00:28:24.360 Three.
00:28:27.540 And they may be asking, why did you turn on him?
00:28:30.040 Because, you know, you were part of his government.
00:28:32.320 What was it?
00:28:33.300 And also, what would you do differently?
00:28:35.120 And if you watch the election here, don't ever say, nothing comes to mind.
00:28:40.320 That's the bad answer to that one.
00:28:43.380 What would you do differently?
00:28:45.740 Well, you know, with the prime minister, I think every politician has their sell-by date.
00:28:52.280 And that's part of what happened.
00:28:54.120 But I think the other thing that happened is my party, we're actually called the Liberal Party.
00:29:00.020 And I am an old school liberal.
00:29:02.640 And liberals in Canada win.
00:29:06.180 Bullshit.
00:29:07.000 You made a mockery out of freezing bank accounts.
00:29:09.360 How can you be old school liberal out of that, you dizzy cow?
00:29:12.260 When we are focused on people and on what they need in their lives.
00:29:18.280 And we lose when people think that we're focused on virtue signaling and identity politics.
00:29:25.860 So the same thing that sunk the party here in America when they went too far left.
00:29:30.340 But you were focused on identity politics and virtue signaling.
00:29:35.760 You were.
00:29:36.820 We all saw it, especially during the convoy.
00:29:39.900 The impression I got from Justin Trudeau.
00:29:42.020 Why did he go and become one of those elitist type of scolds who looked like he was just overbearing?
00:29:48.620 That sort of left-wing overbearingness.
00:29:50.880 I saw recently, I think it was last week, Ottawa, I see, is trying to pass a law.
00:29:56.000 Now, limiting the amount of time you can idle your car.
00:30:00.360 Now, I've been in Canada in the winter.
00:30:02.320 It's pretty fucking cold.
00:30:05.500 That's why we used to have snowbirds before we decided we didn't want to spend our money in the United States.
00:30:10.700 And I don't think this, I mean, the reasoning is.
00:30:13.940 Okay, well, I'm just looking at that, ladies and gentlemen.
00:30:15.480 I'll leave this link in the description for you all to follow at your leisure there, too.
00:30:21.160 But you really see the disingenuine context she's presenting.
00:30:25.760 Now, she's not as condescending to Bill Maher, but she's spoken to us Canadians like that.
00:30:30.700 Think about that.
00:30:31.880 Think about the history of Miss Freeland and her freebasing BS, right?
00:30:36.440 Talk about virtue and identity politics.
00:30:38.980 And yet she was the biggest flag waver when it came to that once she got in.
00:30:42.140 So you can see the contradiction, and you can kind of feel the anger that the real flag-waving Canadians have put up with.

00:31:03.580 And you're back, ladies and gentlemen, to episode 346 of the Krusty Canuck Podcast.
00:31:10.640 Badgering insults, deflections, and still no government.
00:31:13.600 Hello once again, everybody.
00:31:14.860 I'm your host, Krusty Canuck.
00:31:16.360 If you like what you see, click like, subscribe, share this content over social media platforms.
00:31:19.720 Do not be shy.
00:31:21.280 And give me a thumbs up, give me a comment.
00:31:23.340 And if you feel like donating, links will be in the description for you to donate at your leisure, too.
00:31:27.160 So this is a pretty long episode I'm putting together for tonight.
00:31:30.780 And now, to make a long story short,
00:31:32.100 You know, we see the badgering back and forth with the Liberal Party, the Conservatives, and, of course, the NDP.
00:31:37.360 Jagmeet Singh now qualifies for his pension.
00:31:40.280 I'm still seeing a bit of outrage over Charlie Angus and his bullshit when he was out protesting the Russian embassy.
00:31:47.280 And what's happening with Ukraine again, too.
00:31:50.060 The thing is, Canada, we have to focus on Canada.
00:31:53.120 I don't hate the Americans.
00:31:54.320 I disagree with some of their policies, some of their history.
00:31:57.380 But that's the joy about history.
00:31:58.740 You can agree, you can disagree, but it happened.
00:32:01.020 You can't change what happened in the past.
00:32:03.580 We've got to focus on what's going on now.
00:32:05.480 Both of our countries have been strong and united, and many a front.
00:32:08.440 We've also disagreed on many a front, too.
00:32:11.380 The thing being, we have to get along.
00:32:13.260 Period.
00:32:15.040 The thing is, our leaders are not doing it.
00:32:17.580 They're playing like they want to get along, but they don't.
00:32:19.340 What kind of spending power do we have?
00:32:24.560 What do we have the off the world right now besides excuses?
00:32:29.460 I would say no more fucking excuses.
00:32:31.320 I would say once they have this liberal leader put in place, that the governor general gets
00:32:36.280 some cojones and say, okay, people are happy.
00:32:38.820 Call an election.
00:32:40.440 Get it done.
00:32:42.080 Get it done now.
00:32:43.180 Now, can the conservatives do something different?
00:32:45.880 I don't know.
00:32:47.560 Pierre is all up in the Ukraine battles.
00:32:49.920 Pierre is all up for this, all up for that.
00:32:52.180 Time will tell, too.
00:32:53.300 But I think it'll be a better choice than what we've got right now.
00:32:58.160 Lesser of two evils?
00:32:59.180 I don't know.
00:33:00.560 If it was up to me, we'd have a libertarian party in parliament as we speak.
00:33:07.280 Promoting some better judgments, some better ideas.
00:33:11.520 And they won't worry about how rich they're going to get.
00:33:14.200 They would want you to keep your money.
00:33:17.660 I want to keep my money.
00:33:18.840 I'm assuming you want to keep your money.
00:33:20.540 Pay a minimal tax, but have the services that we need based on cutting from the top and
00:33:25.840 not the bottom and not promoting more propaganda and more BS in the name of virtue when certain
00:33:32.760 individuals just said, oh, we're not being virtuous.
00:33:37.020 Some people's kids.
00:33:38.500 Anyhow, ladies and gentlemen, I am in Christy Canuck on this beautiful 2nd of March, 2025.
00:33:42.180 I wish good things for you all out there as per.
00:33:45.500 I'm actually writing some more notes, more creativity.
00:33:48.240 I'm getting some more screenplay ideas in the works, too.
00:33:51.520 But in the meantime, I'll try to get episodes up on a weekly basis.
00:33:55.660 I'm trying to do an average of three a week.
00:33:58.240 So all for you.
00:33:59.120 I hope you guys enjoy it.
00:34:00.180 Just let me know in the comments and via email or contact information.
00:34:03.560 I'll put my description.
00:34:05.140 It's worth it.
00:34:05.820 Weather is getting better, though.
00:34:06.920 Still don't get cocky.
00:34:07.880 Still March in Alberta.
00:34:09.400 So it might be a cold snap coming just yet.
00:34:12.320 Knock on wood.
00:34:13.220 You know, so say just keep your chins up.
00:34:16.200 Do what you can.
00:34:16.760 Help you out in these trying times.
00:34:18.160 Be good to your friends and be good to yourself.
00:34:20.140 Try to be good to yourselves once in a while, ladies and gentlemen, too.
00:34:23.060 And don't take any more shit.
00:34:25.300 You know, spring is coming.
00:34:26.400 Things are going to thaw and we're going to see the light in this manufactured darkness.
00:34:30.180 Like I said, I'm in Christy Canuck on this beautiful 2nd of March, 2025.
00:34:33.620 Good things for you all out there.
