00:01:17.420 hi everybody i'm your host crusty canuck my apologies for being so absent uh the past little while i've

00:01:24.620 just had some really really trying times been pretty busy for me especially with my tax issues

00:01:29.160 and i'd just like to thank you everyone who has tried to donate i'm looking at my donate links and no

00:01:33.460 one's donated god damn cent well that's fine not a problem you want to help a fellow canuck out in 0.68

00:01:37.780 these times of needs that's understandable i'm not going to throw a guilt trip at you but uh i basically 0.91

00:01:43.480 plead out there for some assistance so if you can assist me in my tax issues please feel free to

00:01:49.420 links for my description and you know as the title card said 369 a shamble of a cabinet now i know this

00:01:55.260 is old news for some of you out there too but just remember too if you like and hear it to see click

00:01:59.600 like subscribe share this podcast all over your social media platforms do not be shy ladies and

00:02:04.100 gentlemen give me a thumbs up give me some comments keep the algorithm going let us canucks get our words

00:02:07.840 out there as we can now new cabinet same old faces same old situation i'm not going to sugarcoat

00:02:14.660 ladies and gentlemen this cabinet is a joke it's a joke okay our politics in this country has gone 0.98

00:02:21.900 to shit now there's gonna be a lot of swearing this episode because i've done a lot of thinking 0.97

00:02:25.260 the past week in regards to my tax issues in regards to some of my fans weighing in and saying 0.99

00:02:29.960 some really good things and some fans saying some really stupid things too this is to say it's a it's 0.98

00:02:36.760 a shit show it's basically the trudeau government back in 2021 some new faces some moving around here 0.99

00:02:42.720 but the same old shit okay so so many liberals were going to actually leave politics because of 0.99

00:02:48.900 trudeau's declining numbers and now they came back as carny's the big savior blarney carny blarney carny 0.99

00:02:54.060 blarney carny now some of my friends have read his book the whole values thing and the man admires

00:02:59.640 carl marx and vladimir lenin interesting eh

00:03:03.000 interesting indeed now here's a rich guy who knows how to work works the cash and how to create the

00:03:11.820 shams and he loves communism interesting it's a bit of an oxymoron isn't it you know

00:03:16.560 another thing is that people are still praising this guy now i've got some videos here in regards

00:03:23.440 to the pipelines in this country and i live in the province of alberta ladies and gentlemen

00:03:27.140 uh to my american listeners we're just north of uh montana uh to my other world listeners too we are

00:03:32.540 what we call part of western canada uh people have called alberta the texas of canada uh called it the

00:03:38.960 redneck capital of canada hardly i've seen more rednecks in northern ontario than i have seen in 0.94

00:03:44.440 alberta no pun okay i'm from ontario so i'm not gonna that's okay i can jab i can jab my province

00:03:51.880 my home province that's fine okay but in the same sense the contrast is still out there when you look

00:03:58.740 at feeds and twitter when you look in feeds and certain other social media platforms in regards

00:04:03.160 to how people are praising this mark carney is some kind of genius he's now in rome worrying about the 0.95

00:04:08.240 pope and the pope that's right to the pope worrying about the goddamn pope now i'm not going to hear 0.90

00:04:13.460 sit here and try to offend any christians out there or any of my catholic viewers that really enjoy what 0.97

00:04:18.260 the pope has to say i personally don't care we got politicians in this country that are not doing

00:04:22.820 their job now keep this in mind ladies and gentlemen okay the shab in it the cabinet okay i'll just put

00:04:28.740 that title card up again there too just to let you guys know this new cabinet okay he's basically just

00:04:34.120 mirroring okay the whole liberal mandate you know uh a gender parity per se and i'm not going to sit

00:04:41.600 and name all the people that have moved to this portfolio or that portfolio they're all full of it

00:04:46.440 the convoy proved how full of it some of them really are and the past couple years when our

00:04:52.460 dollar is going down and unemployment's going up they've proven their worth in our canadian government

00:04:57.940 in our eyes and they're still harping and melandering in regards to certain votes that have been counted

00:05:04.560 and certain you know just trying to get to that majority government day and parliament won't sit until

00:05:11.640 the 26th right so we got the next uh five days or eight days to worry about our government sitting

00:05:20.080 down i'll get this though they're only going to sit for a few weeks and then they're going to go on

00:05:23.840 fucking holiday for three months isn't that convenient yeah how convenient is that right we're having a 0.76

00:05:30.340 hard time in canada trying to get ahead uh they got paid the big bucks april 1st they all got a pay raise 0.99

00:05:35.720 okay and that's every parliamentarian i don't care if you're conservative ndp backbencher i don't care 0.97

00:05:41.000 if you're with a bloc québécois or independent you shouldn't get fucking paid when this country is 0.88

00:05:46.000 going through a crisis that's just me though okay especially guys like me who have to pay these 0.98

00:05:50.660 ridiculous tax bills because somebody at the cra can't do the fucking math but that's okay i digress 0.96

00:05:58.020 anyhow ladies and gentlemen besides that little quirk there hope you didn't have any headphones on 0.99

00:06:04.640 shaking your head going what the hell is he yelling at my god what's wrong with him anyhow

00:06:09.160 cabinet that's no cabinet it isn't more underqualified people more people that are 1.00

00:06:15.560 buffoons more people that are morons who really don't care about the bigger picture of this whole 0.99

00:06:19.480 country right so i'm going to play something here in regards to the pipeline issue uh that the 0.99

00:06:25.360 carny government is on the bus off the bus with on a regular loners here too uh this is from

00:06:30.340 lorne gunter from the toronto uh sun there too uh i like his work i don't care ladies gentlemen i 0.65

00:06:36.600 don't care if uh some people have said that he's a warmonger or he's uh you know an old fart he writes 0.77

00:06:42.820 some really good stories and he does some really really great monologues so pay attention to what he

00:06:48.360 has to say uh right after uh these messages ladies and gentlemen stay updated and follow

00:07:02.860 at crustycanuck.ca

00:07:04.620 and you're back folks to episode 369 of the crusty canuck podcast cabinet that's no stinking cabinet

00:07:13.700 or better yet the elbows up shambin it yes it's big sham ladies gentlemen hi everybody once again

00:07:18.420 i'm crusty canuck hope you enjoy what you're seeing if you like and hear what you see click

00:07:21.920 like subscribe share this podcast all over your social media platforms do not be shy and give me

00:07:26.900 a nice thumbs up or a comment or two yes give me some sexy radio anyhow carrying on enough of my antics

00:07:34.420 here so i have a video here from lorne gunter uh from the toronto sun there and this was done about

00:07:40.580 four days ago ladies and gentlemen i'll keep the captions up for you there too listen to his

00:07:44.960 editorial and you get to see a solid point of view on regards to the pipelines in this country where it

00:07:53.260 should be what should be going on and i'll be playing some great videos there from stephen gilbeau

00:07:58.000 too and his infinite freaking wisdom oh that man's that man's got some issues anyhow here's a mr lorne

00:08:05.460 gunter mr mark connie gave his first interview since the election to ctv news it was a good interview

00:08:14.520 and in it he said he would consider building a pipeline if there was consensus now consensus is

00:08:23.560 a hole i think big enough to drive a truck through who can tell when consensus is reached what's the

00:08:30.760 definition there isn't one but i instantly was called by a radio host from ontario to ask hey

00:08:38.380 carney says he's in favor of a pipeline you guys in alberta must be happy now right no we're going to

00:08:45.700 be skeptical for a long time about mark carney even just on pipelines the man has sent so many

00:08:51.980 conflicting signals it's hard to tell what he really means when he was running for the liberal leadership

00:08:57.900 he said he would consider using the emergency powers of the federal government to get a pipeline

00:09:02.580 built four days later when he's in quebec he said no no i would never never do that if quebec were

00:09:08.300 opposed during the the election campaign he says you know we need to have a big national project we need

00:09:16.380 to be a international superpower in energy and then he says and a pipeline might be part of that it might not

00:09:25.580 that's the problem with mark carney he's trying to have both sides at the same time he's trying to

00:09:32.700 have it both ways that doesn't work and it doesn't impress anybody in alberta he can say to the ctv

00:09:40.840 interviewer yes yes i'm in favor of a pipeline so long as there's consensus but then he goes and he

00:09:49.180 appoints julie appoints julie debruzan a toronto mp as the environment minister and debruzan is as

00:09:55.280 anti-oil as anyone in the liberal caucus so what does that mean carney can go to ctv and he can say

00:10:04.120 yes i'm in favor of a pipeline as long as there's consensus but then the next morning he lets steven

00:10:10.540 guibo who used to be the environment minister who came up with most of the offensive regulations that

00:10:16.420 alberta is opposed to he lets steven guibo who's now the culture minister say well we don't need a

00:10:22.620 pipeline i have predicted all along that that's exactly what these liberals are going to do they're

00:10:27.400 going to say gee you know the transition to a fossil fuel free environment a fossil fuel free economy

00:10:35.060 is going so well we don't need another pipeline there isn't going to be enough demand it's going to be

00:10:41.620 like when justin trudeau said there was no business case for selling lng to germany there was a business

00:10:49.480 case then there's a business case now it's it's not even in doubt that there's a business case but

00:10:56.080 they made that argument so they didn't have to accept the idea of building an lng pipeline across

00:11:03.320 quebec into the atlantic provinces to make a port to send it off to europe 1.00

00:11:10.920 and they're going to do the same thing with oil sands bitumen and with conventional oil they're going

00:11:17.080 to say there is no business case for it steven guibo said you know the international energy association

00:11:23.880 the international energy administration said by 2028 or 2029 we'll be at peak oil

00:11:30.120 the world will be will be using as much oil as it ever will and from there it'll decline and we

00:11:35.780 won't need pipelines i have heard the argument that we're going to reach peak oil so many times i wish

00:11:43.320 i had had a nickel for every time i'd heard it because then i could retire it's ridiculous it's it's what

00:11:51.320 environmentalists tell themselves so that they don't have to accept that the world is going to want

00:11:57.880 more energy for another 25 or 30 years at a minimum and mark carney will then be able to have an excuse

00:12:07.000 fed to him by the anti-pipeline julie de brusen and steven guibo that you don't have to build a pipeline

00:12:16.040 alberta should be satisfied with the fact that there's not another pipeline and they shouldn't feel

00:12:20.760 offended they shouldn't feel there's a need to separate they should be like the radio host who

00:12:27.320 phoned me from ontario well he said he's in favor of it you guys should be happy well i gotta tell you

00:12:34.600 something until we see more pipelines until we see a greater commitment to the entire economy of this

00:12:42.760 country and expanding not just oil and gas but critical minerals and all sorts of other business

00:12:49.240 activities productivity and manufacturing nobody out here is going to buy that these guys are any

00:12:56.280 different than the trudeau liberals for post media i'm lauren gunter

00:13:03.960 yeah that was lauren gunter ladies and gentlemen from post media or the uh uh toronto sun yeah he did

00:13:10.360 some good columns there too so you see the point when it comes to the economy in this country because

00:13:14.520 uh what else have we got to promote what else do we have to promote we got natural minerals

00:13:20.280 lots of good minerals and alberta and saskatchewan hold the hub of a lot of it uh natural gas bitumen

00:13:26.440 oil not to mention potash and uranium that comes from saskatchewan yeah the government base you just

00:13:32.040 keep saying put up and shut up you keep giving us the money for equalization and everything will be just

00:13:35.960 fine right nothing to see here folks okay nothing to see here nothing to see here and this cabinet 0.90

00:13:41.640 will make sure that there's prosperity in canada yes of course anti-oil activists sitting as mps

00:13:47.480 telling you and i what we should do what we should do again so more and more big government telling us 0.67

00:13:52.840 little people what to fucking do oh isn't this just wonderful oh my goodness that's great right 0.92

00:13:59.480 so how about the elbow up people the guys doing the bird dance right how do you elbow uppers feel 0.99

00:14:05.720 right now do you feel like some uppers or some fucking downers right i would have to say the 0.96

00:14:11.000 latter stay updated and follow crusty canuck on facebook twitter gab telegram youtube and podbean 0.98

00:14:26.520 and you're back ladies and gentlemen episode 369 of the crusty up podcast cabinet that's no stinking

00:14:31.960 cabinet i'm your host crusty canuck hi everybody welcome back once again my apologies for being away

00:14:36.680 for the past week like i said i had some issues to deal with when it came to these taxations that

00:14:41.720 i've been receiving yes things i got to pay now like i've said they're garnishing my wages at my job

00:14:47.160 so uh every little bit can help if you feel like donating ladies and gentlemen i'm not going to demand

00:14:51.560 cash but every little bit does help my links are in the description so if you want to donate some

00:14:56.040 money to give me a hand i would greatly appreciate it you know and uh the more you give the more i

00:15:01.160 mention you the more i thank you the more i praise you all that good stuff so i'm not going to sit and

00:15:05.240 demand it uh i'm not one who's going to demand money i believe working for a living uh but if you want

00:15:10.360 to help a fellow canuck out please consider you can if you can in the description anyway carrying on

00:15:15.000 with this whole episode about the cabinet no cabinet i'm not going to go through all the brass

00:15:18.760 tacks on who's qualified who isn't qualified you my wonderful audience you can tell who's qualified

00:15:23.720 to call the shots especially when they sit in the media and they keep keep promoting foreign 0.96

00:15:29.000 wars when they keep promoting uh the anti-israel mandates that's been going on since uh october 7th

00:15:35.080 2024 since the invasion our correction 2023 since uh israel went through that heinous crime of 1.00

00:15:44.120 practically being invaded by hamas and 1200 people were murdered in the name of whatever ideology they

00:15:50.680 believe in anymore i don't know anymore i i it's hard to keep up with all the religious rhetoric that's

00:15:56.920 going on in the world today right so we consider all day and promote the pros and cons and the

00:16:02.920 yays and the nays and the a-sayers naysayers when it comes to uh clean politics or politics in general

00:16:10.360 but uh you you've seen the proof there how mr carney doesn't really care he cares about his investments

00:16:16.200 uh brookfield i think has invested in uh 10 billion dollars in the uh colonial pipeline going through the

00:16:23.640 states so it's okay for allies to have pipelines but not canada anyhow here's a video from stephen

00:16:29.960 gilbo just as mr gunter was saying in regards to uh what he's saying about pipelines ladies and

00:16:38.680 gentlemen now i'm not going to sit here and beat a dead horse we've all seen him talk about pipelines and

00:16:45.480 how he's a proud socialist and how he loves this and love that and now his portfolio is basically being

00:16:52.280 the heritage minister that's right the heritage minister he is not um he's not a valued

00:17:02.200 i didn't have a value opinion environment anymore but he somewhat still thinks he is so i'll just play

00:17:07.000 this video for you guys and you decide okay mcclain journalist and political commentator in strathmore

00:17:13.000 alberta thanks so much for joining us on ctv news channel i want to start right there talk to us about

00:17:17.640 what it's going to take to repair the relationship with alberta on one hand today the new energy

00:17:22.680 minister tim hodgson says he's planning to visit western canada soon to speak with provincial and

00:17:27.640 industry counterparts about their priorities but then just minutes later part of that clip that we

00:17:32.840 just heard from the former environment minister questioning the need for more pipelines yeah i think

00:17:39.320 that one of the things that uh that mr gilbo is actually missing right now is that there is a

00:17:46.600 pipeline that goes from manitoba into the u.s and then to ontario and in order for us to have the energy

00:17:55.240 security that we need we need to make sure that we have a pipeline going to ontario that is within our

00:18:00.760 borders so i i understand the environmental case that he's trying to make but that's not the reason why

00:18:08.440 there's they're looking at a pipeline to be built in that direction i want to get your thoughts on

00:18:15.400 some of the other top priorities that were laid out today in this first cabinet meeting in the timeline

00:18:19.560 that we heard from finance minister francois philippe champaign and the signing of rolling out this tax

00:18:26.040 card for the middle class like i i think it's something that everybody's been saying that affordability

00:18:35.240 is a huge issue so you know the fact that they're going to move quickly on that is i'm sure seen as

00:18:41.720 a good thing across the country and in terms of priorities now uh of course throughout the campaign

00:18:48.520 it was standing up to the u.s uh pushing back against the uh trump tariffs and also protecting jobs but as

00:18:55.560 this is happening you know we heard yesterday about honda uh pausing its plan for evs and so

00:19:02.920 there is a lot to tackle when it comes to protecting jobs on this side of the border

00:19:07.960 yeah there absolutely is and i mean i i understand again too why why honda would pause uh that particular

00:19:17.800 project because our biggest export would be to the united states but again not if we're still in

00:19:24.200 this tariff war so i mean you know it's it's not just that tariff war isn't just bad for the u.s but

00:19:31.720 it is of course also bad for canada and i think that we're going to see over the next little while even

00:19:38.520 if we can um you know work on some better trade with our other partners that's fantastic but obviously it is

00:19:48.440 easiest if we can keep trading with the u.s so i mean i'm sure that uh the prime minister and

00:19:55.080 every one of his ministers are going to be really paying attention to that relationship and working

00:20:02.760 to try and get that relationship back to where it was deirdre mitchell mcclain journalist and

00:20:08.520 political commentator greatly appreciate your time and insight today thanks so much thank you

00:20:12.680 yeah what did i think we will have to agree to disagree with premier smith we think that

00:20:27.960 protecting the environment of fighting climate change is important lots of canadians believe

00:20:32.680 that as well it was central element of our of our platform and we will make good on our commitments

00:20:37.640 the time of this or last night you seem to open the door to potentially changing the emissions cap or

00:20:41.880 the the iaa to get projects built what do you think of what he said well these are conversations

00:20:46.760 these are important conversations that we will need to have in the in the coming weeks

00:20:53.000 because we were supposed to say that you're anti-pipeline still what do you say in response to

00:20:56.520 her concerns just about broadly about the cabinet and how do you deal with national unity how do you

00:21:00.920 address that right now so on on pipelines people should remember that we we bought a pipeline

00:21:07.320 uh trans mountain and that is only used right now about 40 capacity uh correction it's about i think

00:21:15.240 80 capacity now and your government saw to it that no one could invest but you know i'll carry on

00:21:21.880 so i i think before we we start talking about building an entire new pipeline maybe we should

00:21:27.400 maximize the use of of existing infrastructure and and the canadian energy regulator as well as the

00:21:33.400 international energy agency are telling us that probably by 2028 2029 demand for oil will peak

00:21:40.440 globally and it will also peak in in canada so as far as i know there are no investors right now there

00:21:46.120 are no companies that are saying that they want to build no investors as you know these things are

00:21:50.680 built by by companies not governments are you against the construction of pipelines in canada what i'm

00:21:57.560 saying is that we already have an infrastructure in place that's not even at 50 capacity so before

00:22:03.800 we think about building new infrastructure we should maximize the use of what already exists and as i said

00:22:09.560 to your colleague the canadian energy agency and the international energy age yes but the prime minister

00:22:17.240 is saying well let's build pipelines and you're putting pushing the brake on that well what i'm saying is

00:22:23.480 is that the international and canadian energy agencies are saying that uh demand for oil will peak 0.98

00:22:31.160 by 2028 2029 and there's no developer who's interested in building an estweets oh what a load of crap oh my god 1.00

00:22:40.840 i can't believe people even even even even even drink the kool-aid from these people honestly what a load of garbage 0.97

00:22:48.040 that was okay they're saying the same thing back in 2019 now we're gonna buy the pipeline we're not 0.94

00:22:52.760 going to use it though oh we're at this big capacity now as far as i've heard uh premier lego from the

00:22:58.360 province de quebec has a consensus and about 75 to 78 percent of quebecers want a pipeline and the only

00:23:06.600 people that are against it are the black quebecois and maybe some environmentalists too now i actually i

00:23:11.320 went toe-to-toe with a couple of people in regards to the pipeline and they would they all say the same

00:23:16.440 thing in regards it's not economically sound it's not a good business case and we we don't need the money

00:23:20.920 maybe quebec doesn't need the money because they get 13 billion dollars a year how about the rest of

00:23:26.200 the country you think about that right i think about the fact that there's other canadians out there

00:23:32.680 that need to get ahead better than some quebecers well there's canadians out there that need to get 1.00

00:23:37.640 ahead like new brunswickers nova scotians some peis you know some new finlanders some labradorians

00:23:43.560 some ontarioans manitobans saskatchewans albertans bcers everybody in north yukon northwest territories

00:23:53.320 none of it do you ever think about that too right and people say that there's there's no market for

00:23:58.600 it are usually environmentalists that want to shut it down okay and these are the same environmentalists

00:24:03.080 that sit and blow hard about the wef mandates when it comes to uh emission caps when it comes to uh

00:24:09.560 uh prioritizing uh looking at the environment right when the cost of living is just ridiculous

00:24:14.360 now the federal government proposed that there's gonna be a tax break come july 1st

00:24:18.360 that means you and i save 30 bucks a month when it comes to 800 a year isn't that wonderful

00:24:25.880 now i can get that paper i always wanted oh joy 30 bucks a month right it's the same propaganda

00:24:32.920 they push down our throats just before christmas there the gst break right gst on junk food so you 0.98

00:24:38.120 can get that licorice and save 30 cents oh my isn't that just uh fuck really but there's people out 0.99

00:24:45.720 there that bought the kool-aid that drank the kool-aid and said oh he's such a great guy elbows up 0.99

00:24:51.240 whatever come on people we got to smarten up to this shit right so we'll see come the 26th of may 0.94

00:24:59.240 we'll see come when the throne speech when king charles comes written to sit in the in in the house and 0.96

00:25:06.920 give his throne speech to the canadian people right now pardon my terrible british accent to

00:25:12.520 my british listeners out there but i'm not really a big fan of the monarchy anymore not as not as much

00:25:16.760 as i used to be uh because i personally don't believe that we need any kind of king or queen

00:25:21.480 to govern this country i believe we need cane people i believe we should have senate reform i 0.83

00:25:26.600 also believe that our constitution needs to be looked at and tweaked properly i believe in freedom

00:27:34.920 of a bitch right and the people that promote this kind of behavior i i don't i'm starting to lose 0.99

00:27:42.120 patience for now each their own everyone's allowed their political opinions that is fine when you get 0.98

00:27:48.280 people on the likes of x and other social media pages to the horn of the old blarney carney regime

00:27:53.880 it's no better than the trudeau regime of 2021 or 2019 or 2015 we're not seeing sunny ways ladies

00:27:59.960 gentlemen we're not right and the whole tariff issue it was a write-off you all saw what carney

00:28:05.240 did with donald trump there was no elbows up there there was no stance there's no big stanza there

00:28:11.000 it was a kiss-ass parade you saw it as plain as day as much as i did on every major outlet it was a 0.85

00:28:16.920 kiss-ass parade there was no strong stance saying canada won't tolerate this canada won't tolerate that 0.96

00:28:22.440 no it was just you're a real nice guy we like you so much and i look forward to working with you 0.89

00:28:28.040 that's what it was that's what it was you know and in a way i guess trump's advisors and his logic was

00:28:36.120 happy to have the liberal government call the shots in this country now okay but to all the people that

00:28:41.240 voted for carney and bought the whole propaganda of fear how do you feel now when you know things

00:28:49.720 aren't going to get any easier when you know that prices are still going to go up there's going to

00:28:53.400 be tariffs on things called food how do you feel now how do you feel now by pissing on the patriots

00:29:00.280 of this country pissing on people that disagreed with barney carney that disagreed with the liberal

00:29:04.360 brand how do you feel now it's going to change come the fall because parliament's going to go back

00:29:10.040 to work for a couple of weeks and they're going to take three months off right now there was rumblings

00:29:14.440 where they're not going to talk about a budget because they're going to have a financial statement

00:29:17.320 statement or an economic statement and now there's rumblings that they're actually going to have

00:29:20.680 a budget because of the public outcry well rightfully so they should have a budget where's

00:29:25.880 the money going is it going here is it going there is it coming there going where right instead of

00:29:31.000 hobgobbling and worrying about the freaking status quo of the liberal elites you start worrying about 0.97

00:29:36.600 the canadian status quo shit simple right we can sit here all day and go back and forth about what 0.98

00:29:44.760 the liberals should have done what the conservatives should have done people in this country got to 0.96

00:29:48.520 start doing better people that go out and work every day should be able to save their money but

00:29:53.400 no of course not we got revenue up people's asses we've got debt that's on everybody's mind and we've

00:29:58.200 got terrible leadership that's promoting it we got to do better ladies and gentlemen anyhow i have
