The Crusty Canuck Podcast - EP#149 ”Election 2021...Same S%$t...Different Pile.

00:00:00.000 Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to episode 149 of the Cresting Night podcast.

00:00:06.480 The election 2021. Same old, just a different pile. All that and more coming up to the show.

00:00:13.680 Please stick around and listener discretion is advised.

00:00:22.780 Hit it, sweetheart. Because I am hard, you will not like me.

00:00:27.740 Yes, sir.

00:00:30.000 There is no racial bigotry here.

00:00:35.760 There you are all equally working.

00:00:40.020 From Western Canada, this is the Krusty Canuck podcast, a Canadian veteran's point of view on political, social, economic issues and life.

00:00:51.160 Here's Krusty.

00:00:53.980 Yeah, that's right, ladies and gentlemen. Episode 149 of the Krusty Canuck podcast.

00:00:58.960 The election 2021. Same old shit, just a different pile. 1.00

00:01:03.040 I'm your host, Krusty Canuck. And welcome back, everybody. 1.00

00:01:06.080 Yes, it's been about a month and three days since my last podcast.

00:01:08.940 And I've missed you all, honestly. I've missed all of you, my wonderful fans and listeners out there.

00:01:13.280 And, well, it's been an adventure. Yes, I myself, Krusty Canuck, John Irwin, was running in the federal election under the Veterans Coalition Party banner.

00:01:22.700 And in my area, I received 171 votes. That's right, ladies and gentlemen, 171 votes.

00:01:30.820 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Pretty impressive, huh? Outstanding. Thank you very much.

00:01:35.880 And with that experience comes a lot of humbling.

00:01:40.340 Well, it's a humbling experience, to say the least.

00:01:44.300 I, myself, I funded my campaign with some of my savings, what's left of them.

00:01:49.960 And I made signs, made brochures, made some flyers.

00:01:54.420 I had a couple of volunteers step up and give me a hand when they could.

00:01:58.440 And I had others say that, oh, yeah, I'll help you out, Krusty.

00:02:01.180 I'll help you out. And a lot of no-shows.

00:02:03.180 So, that gives me a lesson right then and there, too.

00:02:06.920 One of the other lessons I've learned in this campaign is how people really look up to a lot of these leaders.

00:02:15.040 You know, it's more or less redefined.

00:02:17.320 And I've said numerous times in the show, ladies and gentlemen, that, well, we got to stop treating these leaders like they're gods, okay?

00:02:26.680 We got to stop treating these politicians like they're gods, like they know it all, because they don't.

00:02:33.820 They don't.

00:02:34.800 Now, don't get me wrong.

00:02:36.000 My competitors in this riding in Battle River Crowfoot, Damien, Tonya, Dennis, Daniel, Jeff, and the liberal incumbent who didn't show up, Laura.

00:02:48.280 Needless to say, we had a pretty good discussion on things and policies, on mental health, on the environment, on money.

00:02:54.780 But I'll redefine this.

00:02:57.780 Every politician that ran in this election is representing the party, okay?

00:03:06.720 Now, a lot of this episode is off the cuff based on my experiences with the election, based on what I've projected before, what I've asked you, what you've said to me in response, all that good stuff.

00:03:17.320 And I've only seen these leaders represent the party, not represent the constituents as it should, okay?

00:03:26.280 As they should, per se, okay?

00:03:28.660 I took it upon myself and based on the discussions I had with other members of the Veterans Coalition Party that we have to represent the riding, regardless of where you are, regardless of the populace or not.

00:03:38.960 You have to represent the riding, ladies and gentlemen.

00:03:42.340 That's what it comes down to, okay?

00:03:44.200 It doesn't matter if you're with this party or that party or you're with this group or that group.

00:03:47.960 You have to represent the riding, the people within, okay?

00:03:52.520 Now, my wife and I, we were glued to the TV set Monday evening just to watch the buffoonery.

00:03:57.900 Oh, the utmost effing buffoonery when it comes to how people are elected in this country.

00:04:06.320 And, of course, as always, the GTA, that big 905 area that every politician strategizes to get involved in, what have you, okay?

00:04:15.460 They take the cake again, right?

00:04:18.440 Now, CTV and CBC are both guilty for automatically assuming that the liberals were going to win, okay?

00:04:25.460 Now, this first-past-the-post BS they tried to promote back in 2015, they obviously didn't do anything about it because they rely on that to get ahead.

00:04:34.720 So, once the liberals achieved 130 seats in parliament, all of a sudden, it's assumed they won, they got the minority, okay?

00:04:40.980 Without counting the other votes from the other side of the country.

00:04:44.580 And we saw it as plain as day on color TV, as plain as day, okay, this is how it's going to roll.

00:04:50.860 So, like I said, I received 171 votes, ladies and gentlemen.

00:04:56.000 That's 171 people that agreed with what I had to say that wanted me to go to parliament because they voted for me.

00:05:01.860 And to me, that's a pretty good thing.

00:05:05.440 That's 171 strangers who said, yes, Krusty Canuck, we believe in what you got to do.

00:05:11.520 We believe in your platform.

00:05:13.420 There you go.

00:05:14.020 And to me, that's great.

00:05:16.320 You know, I wasn't expecting to win.

00:05:18.300 And I wasn't expecting to get 20,000 votes or 40,000 votes, but I was expecting something.

00:05:23.720 And I did.

00:05:24.700 And I'm grateful for that.

00:05:26.580 And I want to thank everybody in the Battle River Crowfoot for giving me that opportunity.

00:05:29.680 Now, because we have a minority government yet again, possibility of an election coming in another 18 months to two years is inevitable, right?

00:05:40.340 So, but now that we have a minority government, now, based on the last stats I saw on CBC, of all places, the liberals only have 151 or 152 seats.

00:05:53.560 So, they've lost a few based on mail-in ballots, okay?

00:05:58.000 And that's what gets me, too.

00:05:59.200 There's a few mail-in ballots that are still waiting to be counted.

00:06:01.580 I think they have until Friday tomorrow, I believe.

00:06:04.440 Anyhow, needless to say, we got another minority government, more buffoonery, more chaos, more BS. 1.00

00:06:10.180 Now, I wonder with this minority government, are they going to keep promoting the C-10 mandate and the C-36 mandate? 0.89

00:06:15.820 Are they going to keep promoting the censorship issue?

00:06:18.020 Are they going to keep plugging the whole anti-gun issue?

00:06:20.760 Are they still going to incorporate fear into your minds and your hearts, ladies and gentlemen?

00:06:26.500 Time will tell.

00:06:27.320 We'll have to see.

00:06:28.960 But based on my experience out there for the better part of a month, getting signatures, talking to people, promoting our campaign, promoting our platforms, promoting common sense, blue-collar basics that we need back in Parliament again, the majority of Canadians still voted for the Liberal mandate, okay?

00:06:45.640 So to my listeners out there in the GTA area, now our personal care you voted for, you vote for who you think the better person is.

00:06:53.000 But when you actually look at what the Liberals have done to this country, okay, they've put us into debt.

00:07:02.300 They've made us a laughingstock with our NATO allies and other allies, respectively, okay?

00:07:08.460 They basically put together the principle of gender parity, which means we have to give jobs to certain people because of their gender and because of their color and their beliefs, whatever, not based on merit.

00:07:21.040 And they've also instilled quite a bit of fear into the average Canadian in regards to gun ownership, in regards to vaccinations and non-vaccinations, towards compliance and towards how we look at the world, okay?

00:07:33.920 Now, when you summarize all of the efforts that the Liberal Party has made in the past six years, remind me what achievements they've come across.

00:07:45.460 Now, I've had numerous people weigh in on my Crusty Neck page on Facebook and my community page on YouTube and sent me emails in regards to how I should show more loyalty to said Liberal Party,

00:07:55.780 how I should show more respect to such the great achievements of these elected officials.

00:08:00.720 What achievements, what kind of achievement do you need, what kind of qualification do you need to rip Canadians off, to lie to them about carbon taxes, to lie to them about everything in general, and to constantly promote a racial divide?

00:08:14.200 You tell me.

00:08:15.780 Stay updated and follow Crusty Canuck on Facebook, Twitter, Gap, Telegram, YouTube, and Podbean.

00:08:30.720 And that's what gets me too, because I did four forums during my quest for a seat in Parliament, okay?

00:08:39.700 I did one in Stetler, I did one in Drumheller, Cam Rose, and in Oyen.

00:08:43.600 And every one of those platforms, we received some really great positive influence, some great admiration.

00:08:51.120 A lot of people pat me on the back, shake my hand, thank you for your service.

00:08:54.020 Thank you for standing up for doing what you want to do.

00:08:56.200 We appreciate what you have to say, and that's great.

00:08:59.260 That's great.

00:08:59.880 And I did all of that at my own expense, ladies and gentlemen, okay?

00:09:03.160 There were no donations coming to our party.

00:09:05.620 We managed to get a few hundred dollars here and there for some candidates, for some people.

00:09:11.800 But all in all, it come down to my own personal expense.

00:09:16.040 I had the signs made.

00:09:17.300 I had the brochures made.

00:09:18.660 I had the flyers made.

00:09:20.400 And I basically went out and did the old college try, my own personal elbow grease and intestinal fortitude, and I handed out a lot of these flyers.

00:09:28.400 And I knocked on doors and I talked to people.

00:09:31.980 And interestingly enough, a lot of people were very responsive and quite the positive feedback.

00:09:38.220 And what this election taught me too is that people still crave the blue collar basics.

00:09:42.240 People still want common sense brought to Parliament.

00:09:44.460 But there's a majority of people that just didn't really care.

00:09:48.800 And there was abundance of people out there that didn't really vote either.

00:09:53.140 Okay.

00:09:54.260 Now, I've been involved in conversations where people want to vote, but they don't know who to vote for, what they believe in.

00:10:01.440 They don't like this party, like this guy.

00:10:03.160 They don't like this party, but they like this girl.

00:10:05.760 They don't like this girl, but they like the party.

00:10:07.880 And, you know, back and forth, back and forth.

00:10:09.640 Okay.

00:10:09.900 So I'd like to remind my listeners and viewers out there too, that the parliamentary system, it's about the person representing you, not the party.

00:10:21.400 Okay.

00:10:22.320 So if they do call another election in 18 months or two years, because Justin didn't get his majority and his feelings were hurt because people didn't buy a lot of his BS, but he still got elected.

00:10:32.660 Um, we have to get back to that, ladies and gentlemen, we have to get back to that simple thing of understanding what the parliamentarian should be doing for you.

00:10:43.520 Now, it doesn't matter if you come from a riding of 20,000 people or 25,000 people or 200,000 people, or like my riding, 110,000 people.

00:10:51.300 With a voter base of 80,000 plus, I highly recommend people get out there and vote.

00:10:58.440 Okay.

00:10:59.380 You really should get out there in the world and vote.

00:11:02.460 Okay.

00:11:04.420 I'm not, I'm not going to tell you who to vote for, what you should vote for.

00:11:08.840 Okay.

00:11:09.680 But that little tick in the box, that little X you put in that ballot, that speaks volumes.

00:11:16.620 Okay.

00:11:18.580 That speaks numerous volumes when it comes to who you want representing you.

00:11:22.820 Okay.

00:11:24.220 And all I can say is that hopefully if they do call another election, you know, in two years time, because they most likely will, because in the history of this country, I have not seen a minority government last any more than two years or two and a half years for that matter.

00:11:38.520 So, something to think about.

00:11:42.520 And when you look at the price tag of this election, $610 million, that's what this, that was the overall projection of what it costs Canadian taxpayer.

00:11:50.440 That $610 million bucks could have gone to the seniors increases.

00:11:54.100 That could have gone to cleaner water. 0.97

00:11:56.080 That could have gone to better investigations and creation when it comes to the green tech they keep talking about.

00:12:02.700 That could have helped a lot of people out in these trying times.

00:12:07.660 Right.

00:12:08.140 And when you watch all the ads that were on, the anti-liberal ad, the anti-conservative ad, you know, Yagmeet Singh sitting in a shower talking about voting NDP because, you know, we'll do this for you.

00:12:20.400 It's always a slap and tickle.

00:12:22.140 It's almost like bribery.

00:12:23.560 All right.

00:12:26.080 So, if this election has taught me anything, you've got to stand by your morals and your scruples.

00:12:33.600 Right.

00:12:34.180 And during the forums, I called out all the candidates in representing the party's interests rather than the interests of the people.

00:12:41.400 And that's what you should do as a parliamentarian.

00:12:43.640 And I will take that to my grave, ladies and gentlemen.

00:12:46.820 Right.

00:12:47.320 It doesn't matter what party you're with.

00:12:48.780 You've got to represent the people in your riding to the best of your ability.

00:12:52.040 And we've had lots of points back and forth, myself and the other candidates, in regards to health care, mental awareness, mental health care, the environment.

00:13:01.320 Yeah, we all had points and we all bantered back and forth.

00:13:05.820 But there's one thing I did notice through all the parties, though.

00:13:09.140 They didn't really talk about their constituents.

00:13:13.760 They didn't talk about love of nation.

00:13:16.300 Okay.

00:13:17.500 They talked about what the party platform was.

00:13:19.820 They didn't talk about what their platform was towards the people, but what their party platform was.

00:13:25.200 Now, there are some good points, I would say.

00:13:27.660 Mental health is an issue.

00:13:29.040 And I would say this past year and a half, it's been a real issue for a lot of people, ladies and gentlemen.

00:13:33.720 Look at the suicide rates and the opioid crisis that has been incurred in this province alone.

00:13:38.500 And yet, the federal government ignored it.

00:13:42.520 Now, I'll say hats off to my NDP compatriot there, Tanya. 0.96

00:13:46.880 Well done, madam, on your efforts.

00:13:49.240 You know, and I really liked her platform when it comes to understanding mental awareness.

00:13:52.320 I don't agree with the NDP platform where it means taking more money out of your pocket because Yagmeet Singh's little plan was going to cost the Canadian taxpayer $214 billion.

00:14:04.640 And of course, he thought he was going to get all that cash from those so-called 40 billionaires in this country.

00:14:08.820 When in reality, it's just going to up the ante on your taxes and everything that we enjoy dearly in this country.

00:14:15.980 And when I look at Aaron Tull's platform, getting a million people back to work.

00:14:19.080 Well, that's great.

00:14:20.740 But getting back to work where exactly, Aaron?

00:14:24.460 And again, what was your stance on C-10, C-36, and the guns in this country?

00:14:30.280 And of course, the liberal platform, you know, we're going to take more of your money to create better things.

00:14:35.240 Yet, we're not going to let the oil flow.

00:14:36.620 We're not going to let our resources flow.

00:14:38.060 No, we're just going to keep it stagnant and hopefully the taxpayer will foot the effing bill.

00:14:44.020 So basically, since 2019, ladies and gentlemen, we are back at square one again.

00:14:49.300 More debt, more racial divide that was incurred by the government, not by the people, and more divide when it comes to vaccines.

00:14:56.540 Because you see all the protests leading up to this past federal election.

00:15:01.320 You've got all three parties talking about vaxxers and anti-vaxxers.

00:15:05.220 How about people that want to end the BS?

00:15:08.540 How about call them protesters because they're sick and tired of being told what to think, what to do, what to put in their face, and what to put in their bodies?

00:15:16.940 Right?

00:15:17.300 And I have personally talked to some of those individuals that are at these freedom rallies, and there are quite a few of them have their double vaccinations.

00:15:24.780 And yet, they're still being told what line to walk, what to think, what to do.

00:15:31.340 Right?

00:15:32.180 And now, there's an abundance of people actually getting sick, even though they've had their two shots, like they were told to.

00:15:38.120 Because a few months ago, if you don't remember, they're saying, we have to get everybody up to 70% or more inoculated to make this a little more liberal.

00:15:45.780 To make this a little more liberating for us all, so we can open up more and let people be free again.

00:15:53.580 And yet, now there's 70-odd percent of people that are vaccinated, but then people are still getting sick, and then people are still getting hurt, and then there's still an abundance of this.

00:16:02.580 And then, all of a sudden, it's because of the 380,000 people in Alberta that are not inoculated yet.

00:16:07.560 Oh, well, it's their fault.

00:16:08.660 Is that leadership?

00:16:12.280 Well, it doesn't matter what party you voted for.

00:16:14.600 It doesn't matter who's the premier here or who the prime minister is. 0.99

00:16:17.600 They're all proving they really don't give a shit. 0.99

00:19:17.460 Anyway, carrying on, ladies and gentlemen, with more of the election blunder.

00:19:22.040 That's right.

00:19:22.700 What a blunder it was.

00:19:24.260 So, basically, in 2019, the Liberals had 158 seats.

00:19:28.400 Now they're down to 151.

00:19:30.060 They still hold a minority government.

00:19:31.540 However, there's no real change.

00:19:34.860 Now, a good thing about what happened to the Liberals is that Mary Monsef, or Mariam Monsef, 0.70

00:19:39.880 whatever her name is, because she can't remember where she was born exactly, lost her seat in

00:19:44.680 the Peterborough Kawartha rioting.

00:19:46.160 So, I think that had a lot to do with the fact that she called the Taliban her brothers.

00:19:51.640 And we've all seen that on national news and CTV, CBC, global alike.

00:19:56.140 How she played with the Taliban brothers to let people go and have their freedom and all that, too. 0.90

00:20:01.580 So, it serves her right, ladies and gentlemen.

00:20:04.020 Because by that statement that she made to the national audience, it made my job and the job of my brothers and sisters who fought and served over there and to some of our men and women that died over there.

00:20:20.100 It made it look like a mockery.

00:20:22.920 So, not only was she insulting to the service and the loyalty that our men and women gave to that country to help the less fortunate in that country out, it was a slap in the face to everything that we have done.

00:20:35.220 That's the way I look at it.

00:20:36.160 What say you?

00:20:36.720 So, let me know in the comments if you can.

00:20:40.240 But it's good to see that there's some humble pie out there for a few individuals to take a bite out of.

00:20:46.840 Anyway, carrying on again, too.

00:20:48.640 This election has taught me patience is still a virtue.

00:20:52.700 Understanding is a great virtue.

00:20:54.200 And representing the people of the utmost is the utmost virtue, I would say.

00:20:59.500 When you look at our parliamentary system, when we have these writings, I would admit that there's not fair representation,

00:21:06.000 especially when it comes to the more popular areas, i.e. like Ontario and Quebec, especially around the GTA and the greater Montreal areas, too.

00:21:13.580 What gets me, though, is when I was watching the national debates, I actually watched the French version and I watched the English version, too.

00:21:22.740 And what gets me, why was there two French versions and only one English version?

00:21:29.020 It should be two for two.

00:21:30.580 And as much as I disagree with some of the PPC policies, I think Mac should have had a fair chance on being there as well.

00:21:39.100 OK, because here's a guy who organized a party from the ground up.

00:21:42.040 And regardless of how some of my fans feel about it or not, he still has, he still should have had the opportunity to be there to present his case.

00:21:52.160 Any political leader, for that matter?

00:21:53.560 Now, as far as I know, the PPC received 800,000 plus votes Canada wide and yet still didn't get a seat.

00:22:01.920 They actually had more votes for the PPC than the Greens ever did, yet the Greens gained a seat. 0.97

00:22:07.820 So that's, oh, fuck, pardon my French, but still just weird, right? 0.93

00:22:13.180 Now, the candidate in this area that was running for the PPC banner, nice guy, you know, and all the people that I ran against were downright decent human beings, regardless of if we agreed on these policies or not. 0.97

00:22:26.260 But I was a firm believer saying, you know, Max should have had a chance to be there at the English debate.

00:22:31.920 He should have, you know, and I may Paul had her chance and, you know, and as well articulate as she was, she still pulled the race card out.

00:22:40.400 Okay, so Yagmeet Singh.

00:22:44.120 And when I hear a politician or see a politician do that, I honestly lose interest because I personally don't judge anybody based on their gender or color of skin.

00:22:53.940 I base people on their actions and how they treat others.

00:22:57.440 Okay. 0.98

00:22:59.000 And it doesn't faze me that she's black. 0.98

00:23:00.960 It doesn't faze me that she's Jewish. 0.98

00:23:02.260 I could care less.

00:23:02.920 What I care about is that if she's there representing her riding, representing her morals and her beliefs in the name of her party and what she wants to do.

00:23:13.980 But regardless of how she was sparring with Mr. Blanchette or not, or how she was sparring with the other guys, I didn't find her as genuine as a lot of people said.

00:23:24.480 Right.

00:23:26.540 And what gets me is that there's still infighting within the Green Party about her status and where she stands, where certain other members stand, like regardless.

00:23:34.840 And that shouldn't be, that shouldn't be a thing.

00:23:37.160 There should be some issues there sorted out right away.

00:23:39.960 And if you didn't want her as your leader, then why'd you elect her?

00:23:44.340 That simple.

00:23:45.060 And if it was such a big deal to have her on the national debates, why couldn't you have Max in there too?

00:23:53.900 Okay.

00:23:55.180 Why couldn't you have all those leaders sparring back and forth?

00:23:57.720 I could see Max Bernier tuning in Yves Blanchette pretty well when it comes to separation and favorites that have been given to La Belle Provence all the time in regards to oil and resources and how it should be catered to.

00:24:09.800 But in the same sense, there should be favorites picked in all ridings.

00:24:15.000 People should have the voice and representation there.

00:24:18.040 And I personally don't feel there's quite a bit of representation there in those debates.

00:24:21.620 It was a real poop show.

00:24:22.740 I thought it was a real farce. 0.79

00:24:24.360 I thought it was a mockery.

00:24:26.320 Now, my wife was sitting there watching it and we're kind of looking at each other going, what?

00:24:29.700 What is this?

00:24:31.600 She said, what?

00:24:32.520 He said, what?

00:24:33.340 What?

00:24:34.500 Like, it just, I don't know.

00:24:36.060 I don't think the points are made clear enough and I really think it was just put together in the name of political correctness rather than political integrity and honesty.

00:24:48.240 Now, tell me what you think.

00:25:42.060 Get yourself some Krusty Canuck swagger today. 0.95

00:25:44.260 Anyway, we're carrying on.

00:25:45.020 This past election has taught me a lot in regards to working for people, helping people out, doing what you can, right?

00:25:53.020 A lot of common sense politics we're not seeing today, all right?

00:25:56.980 Now, in the news, of course, there's four individuals that are under the scrutiny of the RCMP that have been arrested for fraudulent charges.

00:26:05.640 Now, was that set up because the election's over?

00:26:08.980 Or are the RCMP actually taking initiative to do something about this problem, okay?

00:26:14.120 And we all know what Justin Trudeau did with the SNC-Lavalin.

00:26:16.420 Let's look after these little guys first before we look after the whole country, right?

00:26:20.140 Because there's lots of slaps and tickles going around, helping each other out.

00:26:23.880 But I think it's good.

00:26:26.240 I think it's progressing.

00:26:27.080 I'll leave links in the description for you guys to read along with and decide for yourselves, as you should.

00:26:32.180 But I think there might be some higher investigations in the works as we speak, too.

00:26:39.660 Pardon my expression.

00:26:40.360 And there's also a candidate from the federal Conservatives looking into the integrity of Mr. O'Toole as well, too.

00:26:49.460 I'll leave a link description of that.

00:26:50.740 But what I read, it's basically putting Mr. O'Toole on the spot.

00:26:55.780 Now, I used to think Mr. O'Toole had what it took to get things done for the Conservative Party.

00:27:01.660 Maybe because it was a bias towards the fact that he was a vet as much as I am, that he had a military background, he understood things, he was blue-collar-based, he'd come from some humble beginnings.

00:27:13.640 But after watching his efforts in the federal election, he kind of sidestepped quite a bit.

00:27:21.960 He sidestepped when it came to the gun issue.

00:27:26.280 One minute he's saying he's not going to enforce the OIC, and then he says he's going to leave it alone, leave it as is.

00:27:35.360 So which is it?

00:27:37.380 Right?

00:27:38.240 And I had a little talk with Damien Couric, the rep in this area.

00:27:41.580 You know, congratulations again, Damien, on your victory.

00:27:44.440 But I had a little talk with him when it came to pay raises and what happened.

00:27:48.200 Now, he confirmed to me that a lot of the Conservatives were against the pay raise.

00:27:53.200 They voted it down.

00:27:54.160 But I also reminded him, too, that you guys still took it.

00:28:00.740 Right?

00:28:01.860 And there were two pay raises that happened last April 1st in 2020 and this past April 1st, 2021.

00:28:08.840 So regardless of how you feel about it or whether you vote against it or not, there's still quite a bit of individuals that okayed it and took it.

00:28:17.140 While other Canadians were hunting and losing their jobs and trying to keep their businesses open.

00:28:22.060 That's something that I would expect the Damien taxpayer to take personally.

00:28:27.700 Okay?

00:28:28.280 Now, granted, yes, some of these politicians do give to charities.

00:28:31.720 You know, but how much?

00:28:34.880 How much would you give to charities?

00:28:36.540 How much?

00:28:37.480 When you're making an average of $10,000 or more a month, how much do you give to charities?

00:28:42.220 The average MP gets paid $183,000 a year.

00:28:48.460 Right?

00:28:49.560 $183,000 a year.

00:28:51.140 So that's what?

00:28:51.560 $15,000 a month?

00:28:53.440 $17,000 a month that you take home?

00:28:56.000 Is there every two weeks?

00:28:57.660 No?

00:28:59.360 You take home $9,000 or more every two weeks?

00:29:02.880 It's something to think about, right?

00:29:07.320 Now, I wasn't running in the federal campaign to earn the big money.

00:29:11.020 I was running the federal campaign to represent people as they should.

00:29:14.580 Blue-collar basics talking to blue-collar folk.

00:29:17.680 Right?

00:29:19.080 Platform is simple.

00:29:19.980 I wanted you to keep your money.

00:29:20.960 I wanted seniors to get a boost.

00:29:22.060 I wanted our veterans to get a boost.

00:29:23.160 I wanted our military to be upgraded.

00:29:25.100 And I wanted to see farmers and manufacturers and oil workers get ahead as they should.

00:29:28.820 But, unfortunately, they voted again for the same old thing, because of comfort.

00:29:34.340 I'm not blaming the voters out there, but next election, I think we can do better.

00:29:38.380 And not just for my sake, but for other people's sake, too, that want to make a difference.

00:29:42.740 And to my friends in Ontario and Quebec, why?

00:29:46.040 Why the liberals again?

00:29:47.720 Because it's comfortable?

00:29:48.560 Because of freebies?

00:29:50.080 Right?

00:29:50.880 I like to remind those individuals, too, that those freebies come from tax dollars.

00:29:53.800 And in order to retain said tax dollars, people have to be working.

00:29:59.760 Right?

00:30:00.520 People have to be working.

00:30:02.780 So, to these individuals that believed and bought the whole $10 a day childcare mantra, think about it for a second.

00:30:11.260 Right?

00:30:11.520 People have to work in order to have a childcare service.

00:30:15.400 Right?

00:30:16.940 If people aren't working, then what sense is having a childcare thing?

00:30:21.400 Hmm?

00:30:21.800 And if there's no viable plan to get people back working, you could all say, well, we're going to put a million people to work.

00:30:32.740 Great.

00:30:33.040 Where?

00:30:33.900 Energy sector?

00:30:34.740 Resource sector?

00:30:35.760 Retail sector?

00:30:37.280 Private sector?

00:30:38.460 Government sector again?

00:30:40.360 Going to create more government jobs?

00:30:42.380 Are they going to be more reliant on the taxpayer?

00:30:44.620 Right?

00:30:46.000 So, when I look at the plans and the platforms of all these parties, yeah, they all talked a good game. 0.99

00:30:49.960 But they all fucking failed to lace up. 0.96

00:30:53.100 Stay updated and follow Krusty Canuck on Facebook, Twitter, Gap, Telegram, YouTube, and Podbean. 0.99

00:31:01.200 Subscribe today and donate at KrustyCanuck.ca.

00:31:04.600 And once again, ladies and gentlemen, I'm working on getting some better live streams on the work I'm going to.

00:31:14.700 This past month has taught me, too, that Sunday Fastball is going to be no more.

00:31:21.520 That's right.

00:31:22.240 Sunday Fastball saw its last episode a few weeks back.

00:31:25.880 Unfortunately, it's just Sundays now will be dedicated to my home life, but there will be another live stream in the works.

00:31:38.300 I'm not sure if I'm going to fastball or Thursday's Fastball with Krusty Canuck.

00:31:43.280 Anyhow, I will do a once-a-week live stream again, just working on the format and who's available for that, too.

00:31:50.340 I'm going to bring back some of the old panel, like Elle, Fred, Adam, and hopefully some others, too.

00:31:55.740 And I'm going to be working on talking to some more politicians in the next couple of weeks.

00:31:59.700 I got something in the works with the leader of the Wild Rose Party here in Alberta, Paul Hynum, or Hynum, I think his name is.

00:32:06.200 Anyway, I talked to him briefly yesterday on a cell phone there, just talking ideas, talking shop, what have you.

00:32:13.580 So hopefully he'll be a guest on my next live stream.

00:32:16.300 We'll get that sorted out, and I'll keep you posted on the YouTube page and the Facebook page, respectively, too.

00:32:22.520 And like I say, folks, please share this around to all your social media platforms, too.

00:32:27.220 Let's get rid of this censorship algorithm and create our own.

00:32:30.680 That way we can get our own voices out there so people can read and listen and enjoy at their leisure.

00:32:36.820 Like I've said, this election has taught me some wonderful things, too.

00:32:41.620 And not too many of these guys talked about censorship, either.

00:32:46.400 Now, mind you, though, too, the moderators of said forums didn't really talk too much about censorship.

00:32:54.920 And there weren't too many questions that came in in regards to Bill C-10 and C-36, which kind of stirred me up a bit, too.

00:33:04.300 So, but needless to say, I was there to represent our party and what our platforms were in regards to looking after the Canadian people, the taxpayer.

00:33:12.860 So I guess that wasn't on people's minds.

00:33:16.000 But needless to say, with this minority government, who are we going to trust? 0.96

00:33:20.160 Who are we going to trust when it comes to what we see online, what we do online? 0.98

00:33:28.820 Are the liberals going to enforce this once they get their off their asses and back to work? 0.85

00:33:33.440 Are they going to enforce C-10, even though it didn't pass to the Senate? 0.95

00:33:38.400 But are they going to try to reiterate it?

00:33:40.380 Are they going to reintroduce it?

00:33:41.680 Are they going to put C-36 through and tell us what we can see and what we can read and what we can say online?

00:33:46.520 And, you know, even Mr. Yagmeet Singh, Mr. NDP leader, Mr. Kumbaya drum circle guy who drives a BMW and takes advantage of airplanes and cars like the rest of us, right?

00:33:59.100 He's a firm believer in censoring what's online, too.

00:34:01.860 And Mr. Blanchette was more willing to help Justin Trudeau the first time it was read in the House of Commons.

00:34:08.500 So we got to really think about this, too.

00:34:11.480 Who's going to be backing up Justin Trudeau's ridiculous mandates and who isn't, right?

00:34:15.500 So that's something that's going to happen in the future, hopefully, too. 0.53

00:34:18.520 But I, for one, I'm not going to tolerate it.

00:34:20.140 And neither should you, ladies and gentlemen, because you have your right to see and hear and do what you want when it comes to online life.

00:34:26.160 You know, and I can generally say that most Canadians, we're not bigoted.

00:34:30.640 We're not racist.

00:34:31.340 We're not stupid.

00:34:32.240 We just want to do our own thing. 0.97

00:34:33.940 And government should stay the F out of it, period.

00:34:37.120 Once again, I remind you, too, please take advantage of my $10 mug giveaway and my $5 T-shirt giveaway.

00:34:43.660 You donate $5 a month, you will be entered in a draw to win a free T-shirt.

00:34:49.220 And if you donate $10 a month, you'll be entered in a draw to win a free coffee mug from the Krusty Canuck shop at Customized Girl.

00:34:56.300 So please consider that today, ladies and gentlemen.

00:34:59.220 It links to me in the description.

00:35:01.000 And I'm carrying on again with more of this election.

00:35:03.760 If this taught us anything, it goes to prove, too, how much the government has wasted when it comes to taxpayer dollars.

00:35:09.840 Once again, right, $610 million, $610 million for what, right?

00:35:18.960 I can honestly say about $1,000 plus went to my campaign with gasoline, meals, getting signs made, all that good stuff.

00:35:27.860 And that hurt me a bit.

00:35:30.300 So that's why I keep emphasizing, folks, please donate if you can, too.

00:35:33.140 I like to get an abundance of people to donate at least once a month so I can generate some steady income.

00:35:39.080 And it's not like I'm not working for it, ladies and gentlemen.

00:35:40.960 And I'm not going to beg for coin.

00:35:42.020 That's up to you, the listener, the viewer.

00:35:43.560 Like, if you want to donate, donate.

00:35:44.760 If not, that's fine, too.

00:35:46.480 But it would really help me out a great deal if I could get, let's say, maybe 25 people to help me along the way.

00:35:52.600 A base of 25 people to donate every month, especially on my Podbean account, too, because it's easier to access the funds.

00:35:59.800 There's no paperwork, and it makes it just that much easier, too.

00:36:03.980 So please consider donating if you can, ladies and gentlemen.

00:36:08.900 Like I said, I'll leave the link up here at the bottom of the screen.

00:36:11.540 Donate what you can at my patreon.podbean.com forward slash Krusty Canuck.

00:36:16.080 And please use the $10 and the $5 entry in regards to the coffee mug and the T-shirt.

00:36:23.260 You won't be disappointed, you know.

00:36:25.280 So that's the thing, ladies and gentlemen.

00:36:27.200 And help us little folk out as best you can.

00:36:30.660 And I remind you, too, if you like to hear what you see, please find me on Rumble, Brighton, and Wimkin, too.

00:36:36.120 I'm working on my Patreon to get that sorted out.

00:36:38.420 I've had some issues with that before, but I'll get that up and running again, too.

00:36:41.840 And I was on Getter.

00:36:43.020 I don't know what's the problem with that.

00:36:44.740 I've tried to sign in, change my password and everything, too.

00:36:47.820 For some reason, I cannot get on Getter anymore.

00:36:49.500 But I'm also looking at other options as well, too.

00:36:52.980 But in the meantime, you can check me out on YouTube, Facebook, Brighton, Wimkin, and Rumble in the meantime.

00:36:59.600 So, like I say, if you like and hear what you see, please like, subscribe, and comment, and share this all around your social media platforms, ladies and gentlemen.

00:37:06.840 Now, this brings me to the point of the episode, and I know some of you have missed it, because I've had some emails for some people. 0.79

00:37:13.500 Cross to you, we're not going to bring back the polar vortex of bullshit. 0.65

00:37:16.040 Well, like, you know, like the old 80s TV show, you've asked for it. 0.99

00:37:19.420 So, on this episode's version of the polar vortex of, or correction, the Canadian polar vortex of bullshit. 0.98

00:37:28.540 Well, the recipient of the Canadian polar vortex of bullshit this week, this episode is, wait for it. 0.99

00:37:50.360 Well, it's kind of hard to say, because I'm part of it, too. 0.99

00:38:00.460 I would say the recipient of the Canadian polar vortex of bullshit is none other than all the participants, including myself, in this past election. 0.98

00:38:14.200 Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I jumped the gun. 0.98

00:38:16.040 And I wanted to represent and fight the good fight for people, as any Canadian should.

00:38:21.160 However, I think the timing was way off, and I think the priorities are way off on those winners and the leaders alike.

00:38:27.300 So, there you have it. 0.97

00:38:29.060 The winner of the Canadian polar vortex of bullshit is none other than everyone who ran in the Canadian election, including myself. 1.00

00:38:39.500 There, I just beat myself up. 1.00

00:38:41.200 Here, I'm going to self-flage, like, you know, Cooper, I'm such, you know.

00:38:44.160 So, but, you know, my heart was in the right place. 0.99

00:38:46.880 But Canadian polar vortex of bullshit is the 2021 election. 1.00

00:38:54.840 The Canadian polar vortex of bullshit. 1.00

00:39:00.380 And there you have it, ladies and gentlemen. 1.00

00:39:01.760 Now, I'm not saying I didn't do a good job.

00:39:02.960 I think I did pretty good, and I want hearts and minds to the best of my ability.

00:39:06.520 However, nothing has been ventured and nothing has been gained.

00:39:10.080 A few seats have come and gone.

00:39:11.300 However, there's some S&C investigations going on as we speak.

00:39:15.360 Who knows what other kettle of worms is going to hit the floor, and people are going to be losing their jobs.

00:39:20.840 But in order for us to make a proper change, you and I all have to do it to the best of our abilities.

00:39:27.200 Right?

00:39:27.660 And I am, for one, I'm getting tired of all this division.

00:39:30.340 I'm getting tired of people who are vaccinated against people who are not vaccinated.

00:39:34.340 We don't need that.

00:39:35.220 And contrary to what the MSM has said, and contrary to what these leaders have said to people protesting, you're not anti-vaxxers.

00:39:45.000 They're not far right. 0.99

00:39:46.420 They're Canadian people that are fed up with the bullshit, and they're fed up with the status quo mentality. 1.00

00:39:51.200 They're disappointed with the premiers who keep locking things down, who are enforcing the passports, enforcing this, enforcing that, and it's turning into a totalitarian shit show. 1.00

00:40:01.680 So I encourage all the people out there that are protesting and fighting against the ridiculous mandates, keep on doing it. 0.98

00:40:09.260 Keep on fighting the good fight, and keep standing your ground.

00:40:11.780 It's that simple, ladies and gentlemen. 0.99

00:40:18.860 It's that shit simple. 0.98

00:40:20.840 And here's a word to some possible employers or employers out there that are enforcing this mandate. 0.99

00:40:30.380 Okay?

00:40:31.220 Smarten the F up.

00:40:33.480 Okay?

00:40:34.580 It's not your business to know what goes in people's bodies.

00:40:37.660 And I don't care what mandate comes from this office or that office or this human resource sector or that sector or this guy or that gal.

00:40:46.040 I don't care.

00:40:48.180 We've all felt the sting of this pandemic.

00:40:51.000 It's hurt a lot of people.

00:40:52.520 It's bankrupt people.

00:40:53.780 It's even killed some people beyond the actual virus itself.

00:40:58.020 The opioid crisis has gone through the roof.

00:41:00.840 Suicides have gone through the roof.

00:41:02.740 And still, you think you need to enforce these mandates in the name of safety when you and I both know it's a matter of control and compliance.

00:41:15.040 Okay?

00:41:16.360 And to all those businesses out there that have screwed me over the past year and a half, okay, I'm tired of being nice myself.

00:41:24.540 Another thing that taught me in this election is how to stand up for what's right and look people in the eye and tell them what you think.

00:41:33.580 So to all those employers out there that have to be listening to this, who had me in their employ, who just dismissed me because of safety or company mandates, up yours.

00:41:46.280 All right?

00:41:47.040 I encourage you, my audience, my listeners, okay, send me an email.

00:41:54.640 I want you to tell me your story.

00:41:56.400 I want you to tell me if you have been laid off, fired, or disciplined because of your stance on these ridiculous mandates. 0.52

00:42:04.940 Let me know.

00:42:06.120 And with your permission, of course, I will mention said company or said franchise or said store or wherever you worked.

00:42:13.160 I will mention how they treated you on your behalf if you'd like me to.

00:42:17.780 Right?

00:42:18.480 And I will start with my experiences too.

00:42:21.480 So in the next episode of the Krusty Connect podcast, I'll make a point of mentioning said companies and said employers that have treated their staff like absolute garbage in the name of these mandates.

00:42:32.560 So to my fans and listeners out there, let me know exactly what's going on if you want to.

00:42:37.440 Send me an email.

00:42:39.020 Tell me your experience.

00:42:40.520 Try to keep it brief, but keep it honest and real.

00:42:44.420 And I'll mention these companies for you.

00:42:46.680 Let's expose these individuals for what they are.

00:42:49.740 Okay, ladies and gentlemen.

00:42:50.980 You've heard it right here in the Krusty Connect podcast.

00:42:52.700 I will do that for you, and I'll make it harder for these employers to screw you around. 0.93

00:42:58.600 All right.

00:42:59.060 Anyhow, this is the end of episode 149, ladies and gentlemen.

00:43:03.400 I want to say thank you again to people I ran with in the federal election and to my lovely constituents and backers and supporters.
