00:00:22.260 to rob us all blind. Now, wait for it.
00:00:24.880 Federal Budget of Bullshit.
00:00:29.860 All that and more come to the podcast. Please stick around.
00:00:38.180 Hit it, sweetheart.
00:00:40.400 Because I am hard, you will not like me.
00:00:43.280 Yes, sir.
00:00:46.840 There is no racial bigotry here.
00:00:51.420 There you are always what we work for.
00:00:54.880 From Western Canada, this is the Crusty Neck Podcast, a Canadian veteran's point of view
00:01:02.320 on political, social, economic issues, and life. Here's Crusty.
00:01:09.680 That's right, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the Crusty Neck Podcast. I'm your host, Crusty
00:01:12.300 Neck. Viewer and listener discretion is advice. It's not meant for children. So, episode 168,
00:01:18.520 Federal Budget and the Bullshit, right?
00:01:20.200 What else can I say? You know, my wife and I were sitting around watching the budget there
00:01:30.940 last Thursday. You know, I came home from work, tired, cranky, irritable, thinking that
00:01:36.600 the budget wasn't really going to look that great. Considering the past two years, the
00:01:41.080 government has spent roughly $100 billion on the COOF COVID issues. And it doesn't really show
00:01:48.000 because there are a lot of masks that were missing. A lot of, how do you say, programs
00:01:53.080 ceased. Pardon me, it's been a long day. And just nothing just didn't really seem right.
00:02:00.100 Because you look at the amount of business owners and people that lost their jobs, people that were
00:02:04.400 told to go home, people that were told to work at home, and the amount of businesses that were
00:02:10.520 closed up and businesses that went belly up and jobs that came and went. Where did that $100 billion
00:02:17.120 go exactly? So, I mean, just going through some articles here online, ladies and gentlemen, and
00:02:21.800 there's a lot of speculation on where the money went to. We can all say it went to China. We can all say
00:02:26.560 it went to here, went to there. More or less, it didn't really go to the Canadian people.
00:02:31.640 Um, because this country is in debt. Now, I'm not an economist. I never said I was never claimed to
00:02:38.480 be. But I know enough that if I have money, I put it away, which I did before the pandemic.
00:02:46.580 Okay. And so did a lot of my other veteran friends and other neighbors and family members,
00:02:52.340 what have you. And then this issue came and smacked us on the ass, close things up. People got sick.
00:02:59.120 Some people died. Some people got sick. Nonetheless, people felt depression. People,
00:03:05.180 people felt anxiety. And a whole big social turnaround has been going on. Now, when I look
00:03:10.700 at this budget, what I read of it, it's really nothing of federal budget of bullshit.
00:03:19.040 What else can I say? And now you've got the war going in Ukraine. There's hints and allegations
00:03:25.260 that World War Three beginning to start because of how aggressive, aggressive Russia is and how
00:03:31.560 aggressive the Ukrainians are towards the. And we keep hearing and seeing about aid and sanctions,
00:03:38.700 aid and sanctions. And yet this country has been through one hell of a roll.
00:03:43.180 Okay. Now, a little bird told me that the parliamentarians got themselves another raise
00:03:51.140 come first of April. So they've had the better part of, you know, nine days to relish in their
00:03:57.860 raise. Now, I don't know if there's any truth to that or not. I know last April they did and the
00:04:02.240 April before they did. You know, and if there's any parliamentarians listening to this and watching
00:04:06.560 this right now, I don't care if you give to charity or not. The point being the honorable thing to do
00:04:11.840 would have been to say no to any kind of raise and get the work done. And I don't care where you sit
00:04:17.820 on the fence or what party you're with. Okay. This whole country has witnessed our parliament
00:04:23.000 take a lot of breaks. And for what? Don't tell me about safety or work safety. Just sheer effing
00:04:32.360 fucking laziness. You know, there I said it. I said the F bomb. Oh my God, please, please don't
00:04:38.460 persecute me. Don't. Which brings me to another point, too, that while this budget is being
00:04:47.600 analyzed and dictated and scrutinized, which it should be, okay, the powers that be are
00:04:52.640 still trying to push the whole C10, C11 bill. And I'll leave links in my description for that
00:04:57.000 for you, ladies and gentlemen, watching the video and all that and to check it for yourself.
00:05:02.540 BASY, C10, and C11 are bills that were similar to C36 that came out last year before the federal
00:05:07.960 election, where they want to make sure that there's more Canadian content being available.
00:05:13.140 The big wigs, big providers such as YouTube, Netflix, and all that promotes a lot of Canadian
00:05:18.160 content. But what I understand of C10 and C11, along with the budget, they want to promote
00:05:28.240 Canadian content. But in between the lines, they want to promote Canadian content that suits
00:05:32.920 them. Because they're still really high on this hate speech thing, right? And this whole
00:05:39.260 digital, you know, harm that they're coming up with. Now, Pierre Paulyev did a speech there in
00:05:44.980 Vancouver. You can find the link in Rebel Media. I'll put that link in the description, too,
00:05:49.800 where he actually talks about how the CRTC is willing to hire a digital harm commissioner or a
00:05:57.460 digital harm overseer, basically. Someone who will analyze all the content. That's if the CRTC
00:06:05.880 gets in charge of what you and I do on this platform. And he or she will analyze which is
00:06:13.020 deemed harmful or not. Now, I may be speculating here, ladies and gentlemen, but that's very,
00:06:20.220 very 1984. Is it not? Is that not very 1984-ish? I would say so, right? Now, I've said some bad
00:06:37.340 words in my show, and I've made some accusations to people, and I've said some terrible, terrible
00:06:42.100 things. And has it been really hateful? You know, it's garbage that's being promoted to us
00:06:50.220 by these leaders every day. That makes it harder and harder and harder not to be hateful.
00:06:57.860 Okay? So, when you hear something about a digital harm commander or commissioner, whatever, what
00:07:05.100 exactly is that? So, it's a made-up job, no doubt. So, someone's going to get paid the big bucks
00:07:08.980 to sit and analyze everything that I say, that you say, this person says, or that person says,
00:07:13.620 and still worry about if it's legitimate Canadian content or not. You know, right here, I'm pretty
00:07:19.980 sure. I'm full of Canadian content. Even the flags behind me here, too, will prove it. But it's
00:07:28.000 something to think about. And whether it's the war in Ukraine, or this budget, or this whole new
00:07:34.880 hate speech, anti-hate speech platform in the name of protection, now they're talking about the
00:07:39.220 environment, too. So, I don't know about you, but this is just getting, this is just getting really,
00:07:48.300 really ridiculous. It's, it's, it's just not, it's just not working out. You know, it's, no matter
00:07:55.600 where I go, there's always something that's happening here. You know, the foolery just never
00:08:02.940 ends. Honestly, the foolery just never ends. Right? We got a war. We've got this budget that's
00:08:10.240 ridiculous, and I'll get into it. But we also got, we got these people sitting around worrying
00:08:16.120 about how much hatred is online. You know, that is basically, it's not about hatred. It's
00:08:21.160 just about what they hate you to say. You know, and our overseers and overwatchers alike
00:08:27.700 will sit and dissect while getting the big bucks every year, at yours and my expense.
00:08:33.580 Hmm.

00:08:49.420 Yes, ladies and gentlemen, back to the federal budget of bullshit, or the federal budget and
00:08:54.180 it's bullshit, or whatever you want to look at. It's just all garbage.
00:08:56.940 Now, I'll put a link up here and I'll read along with it too. Interesting thing that came
00:09:03.820 out of the Toronto Sun recently, just before the budget was presented. So, you know, this
00:09:12.400 was actually just before that it was put on television with Miss Freeland's blue dress
00:09:19.540 and her new shoes. And that's what gets me too, because everyone was worrying so much
00:09:23.840 about her new bloody shoes. When how much more are we going to be in debt? So I'll just
00:09:29.160 queue it up here too, free as all, ladies and gentlemen. So you can just see it all for
00:09:34.680 what it is. We'll go from there. Yeah, we'll get this on the go here. But this is from the
00:09:40.700 Toronto Sun and Brian literally did a pretty good job. And I'll leave a link to the video
00:09:43.520 there too, if you'd like. I'll just share this along. And then we can read as, as it is there
00:09:51.740 too. So basically, okay.
00:09:55.260 On Thursday, Finance Minister Christopoulos introduced her second federal budget since
00:10:02.040 taking over the portfolio. I like how they make it sound so corporate to the portfolio. Yes.
00:10:07.020 This budget, along with recent agreement between the Liberals and NDP, signaled the Trudeau
00:10:10.720 government will continue to expand its role in the Canadian economy, but he has yet to outline an
00:10:14.120 effective plan for economic growth. Note how I've said economic growth. We have a problem getting
00:10:19.160 our oil to market, but they have all this money to help things to be coming. Wait for it.
00:10:24.000 From 2015 to 2019, the decline in business investment was widespread throughout the economy
00:10:28.820 and the majority of industries in Canada reduced investments in machinery, equipment, and intellectual
00:10:33.500 property and products during this period. Moreover, Canada's taxes on personal income and capital gains
00:10:39.140 were higher than many of its OCD peers, which discouraged entrepreneurship, investment and savings,
00:10:43.940 weak private sector job creation was another concern for the domestic economy. Now, hasn't the Liberal
00:10:48.920 government the past three years kept saying they've lifted so many people out of poverty?
00:10:53.280 And yet since 2015 up until 2019, okay, they've taken away that opportunity for entrepreneurship
00:11:00.920 so people can lift themselves out of poverty. But there's still a lot of people that are living
00:11:06.940 foot to mouth, hand to mouth as we speak, right? So that's the thing. And they've also taxed quite
00:11:12.360 a bit because I personally know some individuals who were taxed to the hoop last year and the year
00:11:17.760 before based on what they earned and what they deserved. Okay. Something else. Today's budget 2022
00:11:25.120 includes plans for several new or expanded spending initiatives such as national daycare, national
00:11:31.380 pharma care, dental care, and a host of other programs. Ottawa's expanded role in the Canadian economy
00:11:35.980 financed primarily through borrowing. So you keep borrowing from Peter to pay Paul.
00:11:41.620 How else do you sum it up, right? Means politicians, bureaucrats will pay a larger role
00:11:49.740 in the decision-making about how the best to allocate resources and diminish the role of
00:11:53.820 entrepreneurs, business owners, and private sector workers. That's a problem. It is a problem
00:11:58.320 because we've seen what the bureaucrats have done with all of our money so far, but wait for it.
00:12:03.060 For example, data suggests that the size of the government that maximizes economic growth and
00:12:06.900 social progress is roughly between 24 and 32% relative to the economy. Prior to the COVID
00:12:13.100 recession, I like to say that, all government spending in Canada as a share of the economy
00:12:18.360 exceeded 40%. The budget's new initiatives will increase that and move the country further and
00:12:24.360 further away from the size of government associated with the strongest economic growth and social
00:12:27.560 progress. So basically it's less money, but more government. That's all it is, right?
00:12:34.480 More government not only leads to higher taxes, ding, ding, ding, ding, either today or in the
00:12:40.540 future to pay for the new and expanded programs, but also lower the rates of economic growth. So
00:12:44.640 you have more taxes, people have to work harder, scrape what they can just to pay the bills for the
00:12:52.160 federal government. Economic growth is especially important because it's the pathway to higher living
00:12:56.780 standards for all Canadians. By allowing for production and more goods and service over time,
00:13:01.060 economic growth leads to increases in personal incomes and provides the potential for reducing
00:13:05.760 poverty and economic inequality. Now we know how the liberal brand of this country likes to promote
00:13:12.700 the whole equality thing. You can promote the equality by letting businesses start up, cutting the red tape
00:13:21.160 from all this bureaucratic BS, stop worrying about gender analysis, stop worrying about the climate,
00:13:27.800 because the climate you're promoting, government, is a hell of a lot more devastating than a tornado
00:13:35.020 or a flood or a drought. Think about that. The 1930s would be an excellent example of that.
00:13:44.080 So while the finance minister reiterated the government's commitment to grow the economy,
00:13:49.080 Canada is still lacking an effective plan for the economy that does not bode well for many
00:13:52.980 or any well-meaning efforts to improve the quality of life for Canadians. In Budget 2022,
00:13:58.480 the Trudeau's government economic plan appears to involve doubling down, what's the typical doing,
00:14:03.500 and expending upon the policies enacted before COVID, then hoping for the best. So promise of a kiss and
00:14:09.060 a reach around and that's all there is? Oh, that's right. The budget will balance itself.
00:14:14.320 Oh, I was way off, of course. Yes. In reality, however, the government seems poised to repeat
00:14:20.580 the past mistakes and dampen the Canadian economy rather than help it. Okay. And that came from Jake
00:14:25.780 Fuss via Toronto Sun. He's the Associate Director of Fiscal Studies at the Fraser Institute.
00:14:31.820 So that gives you something in perspective. Okay. Something in a big perspective.
00:14:37.880 I would highly suggest that you save your pennies, ladies and gentlemen, because the Liberal Penny
00:14:44.200 Pinchers and the NDP Backbenchers are on their way. Stay updated and follow Krusty Canuck on Facebook,

00:15:02.400 Anyway, carrying on, gentlemen, with episode 168, Federal Budget and the Bullshit.
00:15:07.880 Federal Budget of Bullshit.
00:15:12.700 That it is indeed, too. Federal Budget of Bullshit. So basically, a lot of it was just tongue-in-cheek
00:15:18.160 stuff. Now, my wife and I, when we sit and we talk about our assets, what she brings in,
00:15:22.580 what I bring in. Okay. We always make sure that we have something to do with it. Pay our bills and
00:15:27.820 see what we can put aside. Now, the past two years has been tough on everybody, ladies and gentlemen.
00:15:31.920 I mean, extremely tough. Okay. From people that were making 100 grand a year to people
00:15:37.860 that are making maybe 25 grand a year. Okay. It is tough. And I know there's been times in my life
00:15:45.320 where I was without money, times where I was in debt, but I got sorted out with some help, some
00:15:50.740 insights, some research. I went and did something with the help of my wife, the help of my family.
00:15:55.600 I got something accomplished, which is good. And I think a lot of us might have to go through that
00:16:01.640 again, come the next year. We'll have to see. I can't predict what's going to happen in the future,
00:16:08.480 but I'm going to read a quote here from actually CTV, ironically enough. Now, I know I've harped on
00:16:17.020 mainstream media quite a bit, or a bitch, quite a bit, sorry. But there's some interesting facts here
00:16:27.800 that comes from CTV. Now, there's speculation in what they're going to do. They targeted new spending
00:16:35.740 deficit, which we projected about $52.8 billion. So that's added onto our trillion dollar debt too.
00:16:43.120 So, and there's also a pocketbook promises on low alcohol beer, vaping and menstrual products. Now,
00:16:51.860 is that really a concern? I tell you, they must've been riding in the streets because they couldn't
00:16:59.680 get that near beer as quick and as effective as they wanted to. Oh, I tell you, right. It doesn't
00:17:06.000 look good for seniors, right? There's a, is a balance between a grocery store profits and food security.
00:17:11.540 I actually went shopping today and I can tell you, I got four little bags of groceries,
00:17:17.940 okay? Some bread, some meat, right? Some pet foods. And, uh, the summer all up, it cost me about $115,
00:17:26.600 ladies and gentlemen, for four little bags of groceries. I'm thankful that I'm working. I'm
00:17:32.700 thankful that my bills are paid this month, but that much little food, $114, right? Uh, they have
00:17:42.420 promised $8 billion in new military spending, $8 billion over a period of five years, which is
00:17:49.760 nothing but a slap and tickle. Okay. Now, if you want to reach the military 2% that NATO requires,
00:17:58.700 you're going to need at least $25 billion over the next two years to say the least. Okay. But that
00:18:05.080 was just a hearsay. That was nothing. The housing supply gets 10 billion boost. Feds add measures to
00:18:10.340 curb speculation. So they're not going to curb the ridiculous prices and ridiculous demands.
00:18:15.980 They're just going to curb speculation. So more money wasted. Okay. And there's speculation too,
00:18:22.240 about foreign home buyers that buy property in Canada and just leave it, you know, or they flip
00:18:29.020 it or they reno it and then they sell it for ridiculous price. Okay. If you're smart about
00:18:33.340 flipping a house, you can, it can be very, very lucrative too, but we'll see, you know, they also
00:18:39.160 rejig a $15 billion towards business investment fund. Right. And they're bragging about raising big
00:18:45.900 taxes on big banks and life insurance companies. Now I doubt they're really going to impact the big
00:18:50.600 banks because it was them that told the big banks to freeze accounts of people that rep their freedom
00:18:55.900 convoy. So do the math. Okay. Right. And this is, this is my favorite one here. $2.6 billion carbon
00:19:05.620 capture tax credit, carbon capture tax credit for the energy sector. So the energy sector is hurting
00:19:13.000 right now. They can't get their stuff to market, but here we'll give you a little, little tickle.
00:19:17.420 If you capture the carbon to save the world, crack, don't smoke itself. Right. But they're also
00:19:25.540 pledging another $500 million in military aid to Ukraine plus humanitarian help. Now I'm all for
00:19:30.660 humanitarian help too, but when it looks like it's screwing our country, maybe we should just step
00:19:38.420 back a bit and look at what it's going to cost us in the long run. Right. Uh, let's see. I just,
00:19:45.420 I found this, the end of this article, just hilarious. And I'll leave a link in the, in the,
00:19:49.360 in the description, but, uh, this is from the Canadian press on the, on the 7th of April,
00:19:55.820 two days ago. And speaking Wednesday, prime minister, Justin Trudeau said that the budget
00:19:59.940 will show the country's debt remains affordable with the debt declining over the coming years as a
00:20:05.960 percentage of the national economy. I don't get what that means. Um, that's right. The budget
00:20:17.340 would balance itself. Okay. So I'll say this again. Speaking Wednesday, prime minister, Justin
00:20:23.880 Trudeau said the budget would show the country's debt remains affordable. Okay. Affordable for who
00:20:30.680 exactly? Maybe for you and your little entourage. Uh, but for myself, wife, family, everyone in our
00:20:40.160 group, everyone working right now, right? The debt would be declining over the coming years as
00:20:46.620 percentage of the national economy. Okay. So in order to get the debt down, should we not be selling
00:20:53.580 products? Should we not be selling, um, oil? Interesting. Should we not be selling natural gas?
00:21:04.260 Oh, yes. Yes. And there's an idea too. The project off the coast of Newfoundland is a go apparently,
00:21:11.600 but we won't see anything out of that until at least 2025, 2026, right? Just before they try to
00:21:19.100 reach that 30%, you know, they want to carbon capture, right? When they're trying to force
00:21:24.260 everybody to get electric cars and electric e-bikes and scooters and pixie dust and ferry
00:21:30.400 farts. Oh my, what fun we're going to have. Stay updated and follow Krusty Canuck on Facebook,

00:22:10.280 content all over the place if you can too. And we'll carry on again with the whole, um,
00:22:18.820 federal budget of bullshit. How else do I have to say it, ladies and gentlemen? Is the budget going
00:22:28.200 to benefit you and me, your neighbors, your friends, right? How is it going to benefit the mom and pop
00:22:37.180 shop that just barely made it by the past two years? How is it going to benefit the small trucking firm
00:22:43.320 down the road? How is it going to benefit the beef farmer? How is it going to benefit the dairy farmer?
00:22:48.980 How is it going to benefit the actual coal miners or silver miners or nickel miners? How is it going to
00:22:55.500 benefit? Now there is some talk about how they're going to make sure that these resources are looked
00:23:00.440 after because a lot of these mines are going to be used for the new green ideas. Lithium for the electric
00:23:07.820 cars, some copper too for electric cars, silver nickel for the electric cars and conduits that go into
00:23:15.720 things like our cell phones and stuff, right? Things we take for granted every day. Things like this
00:23:25.620 microphone like this too, okay? Right? Things like that. But here's my suggestion. How about we put
00:23:32.680 emphasis on the oil and gas? There's an idea. Bring some money into this country. Oh, let's give Europe
00:23:41.020 a hand. Yes. Let's bring our oil and gas to the European market. Let's not wait for the Newfoundland
00:23:49.220 project to get up and running to employ Newfoundlanders and Labradorians alike, but let's get the oil
00:23:55.400 here in Alberta flowing and rocking and rolling and give it to some of our Asian markets and give
00:24:01.400 it to our European allies and friends alike. Help them along so that they don't have to rely on dirty
00:24:07.740 Nigerian oil and dirty Saudi oil for 10 bucks a barrel because they still lock people's heads off
00:24:14.240 in Saudi Arabia, right? And they still mutilate people in Nigeria. General mutilation, you know the story
00:24:23.940 about that, right? That kind of crap. But I guess because it's cheap, you know, it's economically sound,
00:24:31.860 right? Yeah. Wrong. Okay? It's time now we start putting emphasis on our resources and our productivity.
00:24:41.240 It's not hard. You know, the only problem is that you get all this red tape in the way. And of course,
00:24:46.560 gender analysis and environmental analysis and carbon tax, carbon tax, with the way they're going to
00:24:53.200 spend money on the national daycare program, national pharmacare, national denticare, taxes are going up.
00:24:59.480 That's it, right? Not a lot of people are working. A lot of people just got buying their businesses.
00:25:05.580 So when they hire new people, where they see a moment to hire new people, they're going to have
00:25:11.040 to crease another tax. So there'll be more payroll tax, of course, right? So they can talk the big
00:25:16.000 show about, oh, we're going to tax big banks. No, because big banks did everything you said when it
00:25:20.620 came to freedom convoy, like I mentioned earlier. So no, we don't buy that. So really this budget was
00:25:26.540 nothing but smoke and mirrors, ladies and gentlemen. Waste of time, right? Waste of time.
00:25:32.500 Look at this picture. Regardless of what I added to it, you know, it will balance itself. As I said
00:25:38.460 before, of course, Justin's sitting there trying to sell a shit sandwich to a submarine crowd.
00:25:45.200 And of course, Ms. Freeland, do you like my shoes? Like, do you ever see how she tilts her head?
00:25:49.240 Honestly, like every time she's addressing something or she's speaking, she's always
00:25:54.000 to tilt her head. It's not a very compromising photo of both of them, to be honest with you.
00:25:58.840 Right? It isn't. But when you sit there and when I try to watch what I could of the budget
00:26:04.940 without puking, okay, I was not impressed because it was basically just ad lib, if anything.
00:26:11.560 What kind of research did they put into this? What are the long-term effects of what
00:26:17.080 is going to happen? More taxes and more debt, right? There's still a question of how many
00:26:24.600 millions of dollars that have not been spent in the so-called infrastructure bank that was supposed
00:26:30.320 to build some bridges and roads for this country. Where's that money, right? Was there not so many
00:26:36.760 billions of dollars a lot of the we scandal? Thankfully, it wasn't spent. Hopefully, maybe,
00:26:41.120 we don't know. But where'd that go? Right? Like, they're coming up with these ideas to spend and
00:26:48.460 spend and spend and spend and then tax and tax and tax and hope everything will just work out fine
00:26:53.100 because we all know how the budget will balance itself. It won't. Right? Here, I'll show you a little
00:27:02.480 trick. Here's my wallet, okay? In my wallet is what I allow myself every day to carry as cash.
00:27:16.880 Balance! Pretty stupid, isn't it? Well, that is what our federal government believes is balancing the budget.
00:27:27.400 Stay updated and follow Krusty Canuck on Facebook, Twitter, Gap, Telegram, YouTube, and Podbean. Subscribe today and donate at KrustyCanuck.ca.
00:27:43.380 Those are the same people believe, too, that the new green economy, the new green technology is going to save us. And I've posed this question numerous times in my episodes before, ladies and gentlemen.
00:27:53.860 What propositions, what kind of tenders, what kind of viable solutions have they put on the table for the Canadian consumer?
00:28:03.280 Now, I've seen the results of wind power. It's ridiculous. You're not creating enough wattage to power a town.
00:28:10.080 I've seen the results of solar power. It looks pretty. Lots of mirrors on the ground.
00:28:15.680 But it sucks during the wintertime because they have to be brushed off.
00:28:20.600 Right? So the sun can get at them.
00:28:23.840 And some of them get damaged because of the extreme cold that we have in parts of our country throughout the winter months.
00:28:30.000 And I'm talking minus 35 Celsius.
00:28:32.720 In some cases, minus 45 Celsius.
00:28:35.120 Not to mention the wind chill that can freeze your face in a matter of minutes.
00:28:40.660 Right? But they swear by it.
00:28:42.840 Right?
00:28:42.980 Are they promoting self-sufficiency?
00:28:47.300 Right?
00:28:47.680 There's schematics out there you can find online how to create your own wind turbine through a fan.
00:28:53.080 I think through a home cooling fan.
00:28:55.500 You can create your own turbine and create enough electricity to run your household.
00:29:01.420 Right?
00:29:01.800 There's schematics out there where you can purchase parts to build a generator to generate your own electricity with minimal fuel.
00:29:08.380 Right?
00:29:08.580 There's schematics out there where you can have your own battery pack.
00:29:12.560 You can generate enough electricity to keep your house warm and comfortable through the long winter months.
00:29:19.040 Why aren't they encouraging that?
00:29:20.800 Why aren't they encouraging a tax credit if you do this?
00:29:23.360 You spend $5,000 on doing something like that.
00:29:26.680 We'll give you three quarters of it back.
00:29:29.660 That would be incentive.
00:29:31.500 Right?
00:29:32.840 And when it comes to these gas prices, carbon tax, carbon tax.
00:29:36.360 Basically, carbon tax is nothing but punishment.
00:29:38.880 For being sufficient.
00:29:40.420 For wanting to go to work.
00:29:41.300 For wanting to take your kids to hockey.
00:29:42.640 Or taking your loved one to a movie or a dinner or something.
00:29:45.840 Right?
00:29:46.220 That's just a cash grab.
00:29:47.460 We know the con when it comes to carbon tax.
00:29:49.400 It's all bullshit.
00:29:51.200 Right?
00:29:52.340 I'd be impressed if they actually put some incentive in the budget.
00:29:56.120 Stating what I just mentioned.
00:29:57.940 You want to be self-sufficient?
00:29:59.380 You want to save the environment?
00:30:01.040 Show us your ideas.
00:30:02.200 We'll help you out.
00:30:03.240 There's an idea for incentive.
00:30:05.180 There's a good way to spend money.
00:30:06.740 Put it back into your country.
00:30:08.800 Rather than keep buying, buying these programs that a majority of people might just even abuse, too.
00:30:15.740 Right?
00:30:16.440 But is this national daycare going to come to fruition?
00:30:19.480 Is the national pharmacare going to come to fruition?
00:30:22.880 Right?
00:30:23.600 The national dentistry going to come to fruition?
00:30:25.680 No, it's not.
00:30:28.540 It was just wordplay and hearsay to keep Yagmeet Singh happy and employed and his parliamentarians employed.
00:30:35.300 To look like they're actually doing something sufficient.
00:30:38.660 But you and I know better.
00:30:40.400 They're not.
00:30:41.820 And when it comes to military spending, like I mentioned in my last episode, it's been a joke for the past 50 years.
00:30:48.980 Now, there was a slight increase during the Harper years because you got the Globemaster aircrafts ready to rock.
00:30:54.800 Right?
00:30:55.260 And there was some incentive for some off-road vehicles that we had overseas.
00:30:59.140 Things were getting done.
00:31:00.300 We needed something.
00:31:01.000 We got it.
00:31:01.500 Which was great.
00:31:02.180 You know, but then when the war ended, spending went down again and incentives went down again.
00:31:10.740 And what gets me, too, is that some of the brass and some of the bureaucracy at the time couldn't figure out for the life of them why people wanted to leave the military.
00:31:18.160 Well, I just don't get it.
00:31:20.480 Because you don't care about it.
00:31:22.800 Right?
00:31:24.100 Just like you don't care about the taxpayers.
00:31:26.360 You don't care about the First Nations.
00:31:28.080 Your bottom line is you care about the control you're trying to promote.
00:31:33.780 Okay?
00:31:35.020 So, with your raises and your perks that you have as promontarians, basically, you just threw together a bullshit budget.
00:31:43.040 What else does it have to stand on other than your bullshit and your virtue?
00:31:47.740 Okay?
00:31:49.300 I remember that morning, that Thursday morning, the biggest news was, oh, here comes the budget.
00:31:54.120 But Miss Freeland's buying new shoes because it's a tradition.
00:31:58.940 Not that it really fucking matters.
00:32:00.700 But why is there such emphasis on what the hell the woman's wearing?
00:32:05.700 Why can't you worry about what the fuck they're doing?

00:33:49.220 I appreciate that as well.

00:34:02.320 But please check it out at your leisure.
00:34:04.240 Now, I know I said last episode, use the code FPV, get 15% off.
00:34:08.580 There was a mishmash.
00:34:09.600 There's no percentage off.

00:34:33.600 Support my podcast.
00:34:34.720 And if you do like it, you want to support me financially.

00:34:40.300 Through my Patreon page on Podbean.

00:34:43.760 And through the Buy Me Coffee app.
00:34:45.300 So please use that, too.
00:34:47.020 I'm getting rid of my Patreon page.
00:34:48.560 If anyone sees my Patreon link.
00:34:50.800 I'm just not really impressed with them.
00:34:52.880 They like to censor people.
00:34:54.060 So I'm not for censorship.
00:34:56.080 Censorship.
00:34:57.020 Censorship.
00:34:58.140 I can't speak English today.
00:35:00.220 So I'm going to try to get rid of that.
00:35:02.680 Unless they can convince me to stay.
00:35:04.720 But if you want to support me financially.
00:35:06.320 Please, you can use the Patreon page on my Podbean account.
00:35:10.180 PayPal.
00:35:11.000 And Buy Me a Coffee app, too.
00:35:13.040 Every little bit helps, as well.
00:35:14.620 I like to make this a full-time commitment.
00:35:16.360 I would love to do my podcast every other day.
00:35:18.820 Or every day of the week, if I could.
00:35:21.200 You know?
00:35:21.780 But that's going to take people like you.
00:35:23.620 And your friends.
00:35:24.540 And the people you share this with.
00:35:26.040 To make that happen for me, too.
00:35:27.620 So please consider that today, as well.
00:35:29.660 Anyway, carry on again with episode 168.
00:35:32.220 And everyone's favorite subject so far today.
00:35:36.740 Federal budget of bullshit.
00:35:40.680 I know.
00:35:41.060 It sounds kind of like the whole polar vortex of bullshit.
00:35:44.720 But there won't be a polar vortex of bullshit.
00:35:46.720 And this episode, you know, my apologies there, ladies and gentlemen.
00:35:50.520 I've actually had a couple of emails the past weeks.
00:35:53.300 Past couple of weeks.
00:35:54.620 Saying, Krusty, we want to hear more of your polar vortex of bullshit.
00:35:58.460 Great show, Krusty.
00:35:59.480 You know, yeah.
00:36:00.060 But we want to hear more of that.
00:36:01.840 But it's just a matter of, you know, timing.
00:36:04.060 Right?
00:36:04.180 So, hopefully, this Tuesday's episode, I'll try to get more polar vortex of bullshit out there for you.
00:36:14.060 But needless to say, carrying on.
00:36:16.960 This budget is garbage.
00:36:18.560 How else do I say it?
00:36:21.740 From just a blue-collar guy who spent time serving his country.
00:36:24.940 Who's paid his share of taxes.
00:36:27.160 Who's overcome some pretty nasty obstacles.
00:36:30.860 And I'm here today because of overcoming those obstacles.
00:36:35.960 I am not impressed with this budget.
00:36:37.980 What say you?
00:36:39.420 Right?
00:36:40.100 Leave me a comment during this broadcast.
00:36:42.740 And let me know how you feel.
00:36:44.440 Or send me an email.
00:36:45.440 Krusty B. Canuck 67 at gmail.com.
00:36:48.460 Tell me how you feel.
00:36:49.800 You know, I'll leave the email right here on the bottom of the screen.
00:36:52.660 Right here on the red.
00:36:54.260 You can see that.
00:36:55.080 So, send me an email.
00:36:55.760 Tell me how you feel.
00:36:56.920 Send me a compliment.
00:36:57.680 Send me some hate mail.
00:36:58.480 Whatever.
00:36:58.640 I'll read in the next episode if you like.
00:37:00.860 But I like to know.
00:37:02.600 I want my audience out there to reach out to me.
00:37:05.080 So, tell me how you guys feel.
00:37:07.700 And I have an apology to make too, ladies and gentlemen.
00:37:10.820 I posted something on my Facebook page.
00:37:12.840 And there's a friend of mine that was bombarded.
00:37:15.080 Now, I don't believe in mentioning anyone's name in my circle.
00:37:19.280 Unless I have their permission to do so.
00:37:22.140 But, man, I'm sorry.
00:37:24.780 Okay.
00:37:25.560 I'm sorry that you were bombarded with some comments.
00:37:27.420 And I'd like to remind people, too, that if I post something on my pages, whether it's my personal page or the Crusty Nut page, and people get into a debate, then keep it as a debate.
00:37:38.680 Okay?
00:37:39.040 Keep it civil to the best of your ability.
00:37:42.820 Now, there's one thing getting angry and typing.
00:37:44.240 The only thing getting nasty and typing.
00:37:45.500 But when you start calling someone names, giving someone a hard time, okay, unless they're a communist, right?
00:37:51.740 So, it just takes the fun out of the actual dialogue.
00:37:56.760 So, I'll say this again, ladies and gentlemen.
00:37:58.360 If I post something and a conversation is instigated because of it, try to keep the comments civil as possible.
00:38:07.520 Okay?
00:38:08.120 I don't care if you swear.
00:38:09.520 I don't care if you jibber-jab, joke, whatever.
00:38:11.640 That's fine.
00:38:12.440 But when you start insulting total strangers just because they have an opinion on something, then that makes us look no better than those clowns in Ottawa.
00:38:22.420 Okay?
00:38:23.340 So, once again, out there to DB, I am sorry that you felt the way you did.
00:38:29.260 Okay?
00:38:29.780 My apologies.
00:38:31.360 It was based in an article on government-assisted suicide.
00:38:36.380 And I have an issue with that.
00:38:39.180 Okay?
00:38:39.700 It's one thing if someone is terminally ill.
00:38:42.020 It's another thing if someone has, let's say, dementia or Alzheimer's.
00:38:47.220 And someone who has their power of attorney has the power to determine whether they live or die.
00:38:52.780 That's a different story.
00:38:54.260 But when it comes to government assisting someone who has depression or anxiety, that's a different picture.
00:39:03.500 Because I myself suffer through depression and anxiety.
00:39:06.100 And I can tell you the last thing that my family would ever want was the government to step in and to take me out.
00:39:14.400 So, that's something to think about, ladies and gentlemen.
00:39:16.980 And if you want a link to that story from the National Post, please let me know and I'll gladly send you that link.
00:39:24.040 Quite disturbing.
00:39:24.700 But, once again, I'm sorry, DB, that you had to go through that.
00:39:30.380 My apologies.
00:39:31.260 That was not my intention.
00:39:32.900 Right?
00:39:33.940 And to the individuals out there that like to engage on my profile and pose questions.
00:39:38.880 And if you want to debate me, debate me all you want.
00:39:40.720 Okay?
00:39:41.560 But I don't tolerate communists.
00:39:43.500 I don't.
00:39:44.940 And I can see it coming a mile away.
00:39:47.320 Right?
00:39:48.340 So, I got zero tolerance for commie BS.
00:39:52.280 Right?
00:39:52.520 Because I studied communism in high school.
00:39:54.340 I saw the results of it.
00:39:55.920 And I've talked to people that have survived Eastern Bloc communism.
00:40:00.820 So, don't try to butter me up a shit sandwich you call the submarine when it comes to communism with me.
00:40:05.060 Because I won't give you the time of fucking day.
00:40:08.260 Right?
00:40:09.160 And some of you individuals already know who you are, too.
00:40:11.280 So, when you're sitting there with the comfort that everything has been handed to you, that costs somebody something.
00:40:17.820 And obviously, it hasn't cost you much because you take it for granted.
00:40:21.040 So, something to think about.
00:40:22.280 Right?
00:40:22.800 But once again, you can also find me on Podbean, Rumble, Brightteen, and Amazon, too.
00:40:27.340 Please download the podcast and check me out today.
00:40:29.440 And check out my swagger, too.
00:40:30.700 Anyway, carrying on with more of the episode 168 of everyone's favorite, favorite subject.
00:40:35.880 The federal budget of bullshit.
00:40:41.840 What's going to happen in the next six months, ladies and gentlemen?
00:40:44.600 Is there going to be an actual fluctuation of the economy helping us out?
00:40:51.480 Are people going to be working again?
00:40:52.840 Are people going to be out there thriving in the construction industry?
00:40:56.620 The oil industry.
00:40:58.360 You know?
00:40:58.660 If they want to give $2.6 billion to carbon capture, are they going to invest $4.8 billion into bringing our oil to market?
00:41:08.880 That would be an idea.
00:41:12.820 That would be a real good idea.
00:41:15.300 Huh?
00:41:15.400 Are they going to invest more money in proper technology to give you, myself, your friends, my friends, and they tell two friends, and they tell two friends, and so on, and so on, to show innovations for self-sufficiency?
00:41:30.460 Are they?
00:41:31.920 I don't think so.
00:41:33.040 No.
00:41:33.260 Because they can't make any money out of doing that.
00:41:35.740 Right?
00:41:36.100 Because they're better off making money out of you and me.
00:41:40.080 Oh, that's right.
00:41:41.580 And when they don't have any more money, then they'll just go to the Mint and grind and print some more and print some more and pay off their debts and pay off their debts.
00:41:49.680 And before you know, by the time I'm 85 years old, maybe half that debt would be paid off.
00:41:55.780 Huh?
00:41:56.540 Maybe.
00:42:00.760 Not fucking likely.
00:42:01.960 Anyway, that has been my podcast for 9th of April, 2022.
00:42:11.320 All I can say, ladies and gentlemen, is that let's hope we can find some light in the end of this manufactured darkness.
00:42:17.120 Let's hope we can find some common sense somewhere out there when it comes to our leadership in this country.
00:42:23.100 I know there's a big upheaval here in Alberta with Jason Kenney being reviewed for his leadership.
00:42:29.440 And I'm kind of disappointed in Kenny, really.
00:42:33.540 I'm really disappointed in the man.
00:42:35.780 I thought he'd do some good.
00:42:37.100 In a way, he did.
00:42:38.080 He got rid of the Motley Notleys.
00:42:39.560 But in the same sense, he also imprisoned some innocent people, which I think is a big no-no.
00:42:45.980 And considering one of the people he imprisoned was a guest I had on the Thursday Fastball there last year, if some of you might remember it.
00:42:52.020 Check out my live stream since when I had a conversation with Artur Palowski, a priest extraordinaire who actually goes out of his way to help the less fortunate, feeds the homeless, and preaches a good positive message.
00:43:05.140 And you don't have to be Christian.
00:43:06.880 You don't have to be a religious person to accept this man for what he is.
00:43:11.080 He's just a good, all-around nice guy.
00:43:13.420 You know, and he was treated like crap by the system.
00:43:18.000 So please check out my live streams if you can there, ladies and gentlemen, in regards to Artur Palowski.
00:43:23.240 And, you know, let's hope we can find some light in this garbage, you know.
00:43:28.760 And please take some time to check out some of our independent folks in this country as well, too.
00:43:33.300 I know a lot of my American friends are fans of The Rebel.
00:43:35.880 I like The Rebel, too.
00:43:37.000 I've met Ezra Levant, nice guy.
00:43:38.500 I briefly had a conversation with Ms. Sheila Gunn-Reed back in October, I think, 2019.
00:43:44.780 So, and we've met online, too, during one of our live shows when I was with Adam Daniel-Mazay on his live stream.
00:43:52.660 Needless to say, just down-to-earth, blue-culled people.
00:43:55.960 Check out True North.
00:43:56.720 Check out Daniel Boardman, Greg Wycliffe.
00:43:58.340 Check out Diverge Media.
00:44:00.260 And anybody else that strikes your fancy, they might have a different opinion.
00:44:03.640 I'm not trying to toot my own horn, but I do a pretty good job myself.
00:44:06.440 You know, gotcha.
00:44:07.200 But do your best to research it, to find things out, and formulate your own decision.
00:44:15.440 You know, Russell Brand, a British comedian, silly guy, the guy who was married to Katy Perry.
00:44:19.620 He's actually got a pretty good channel on there, too.
00:44:22.240 So, check his stuff out, too.
00:44:24.000 And a big shout-out to Hammerhead Garage.
00:44:26.180 Got out of Nova Scotia.
00:44:27.320 Fellow veteran, too.
00:44:28.680 He puts on a good live stream once in a while.
00:44:30.280 So, check out his stuff, as well.
00:44:31.520 I'll leave a link in the description for you to follow.
00:44:33.900 Check out Hammerhead Garage.
00:44:34.840 And Fork and Torch Society.
00:44:36.820 I leave a link in my description all the time.
00:44:39.220 You know, just check out other people and other opinions, too.
00:44:41.800 These guys aren't racist.
00:44:42.900 They're not bigots.
00:44:43.720 They're not misogynists.
00:44:45.000 They're not climate deniers.
00:44:46.300 They're just real, down-to-earth people who present some viable and real solutions for you,
00:44:51.900 the consumer, the patriot, the Canadian, the father, the mother, the dancer, whatever you identify.
00:44:57.220 Viable solutions submitted for your approval, too.
00:45:01.940 So, when you get a chance to do that, please check it out, too.
00:45:04.700 And I'll leave a link to a podcast I did by a fellow of Diotak there.
00:45:10.200 Diotak, sorry.
00:45:11.500 A nice guy out of New Jersey.
00:45:13.200 We had a nice little chat there.
00:45:15.780 Excuse me.
00:45:17.400 And I'll leave a link to his work, as well, ladies and gentlemen.
00:45:21.300 He's just a down-to-earth guy from Jersey who does some really incredible things.
00:45:26.260 Blue-collar aficionado.
00:45:28.160 And I found him on one of his links.
00:45:29.520 And he was looking for guests on his show.
00:45:32.040 And basically, I volunteered.
00:45:35.520 And we had a nice little talk just about life.
00:45:40.340 And yeah, that's his Diotak there.
00:45:44.140 So, you can find me in episode 66 of his podcast.
00:45:47.100 66, sorry, of his podcast.
00:45:49.160 And we just talk about life and politics and all that good stuff.
00:45:52.700 He throws in his American perspective.
00:45:54.660 I throw in my Canadian perspective.
00:45:56.280 But that's for you to decide, ladies and gentlemen.
00:45:58.500 So, by all means, I'll leave a link in my description for you guys to follow that, too.
00:46:03.220 Anyway, like I said, this is the 9th of April, 2022.
00:46:07.140 A beautiful spring day.
00:46:08.040 It was kind of windy in the area, but I've got things tied down.
00:46:11.240 Like I said, those groceries cost me $115.
00:46:14.640 Four bags of little groceries.
00:46:16.100 And it wasn't much, maybe a couple days of food with tops and just some other items.
00:46:22.080 But something to think about.
00:46:24.020 So, when this budget hits us right in the chunk, let's throw that chunk back, shall we?
00:46:29.760 Like I say, ladies and gentlemen, do what you can to help each other out in these trying times.
00:46:32.640 I know things might be tough for all of us, but we shall persevere and overcome.
00:46:38.440 And let's remember Vimy Ridge, too.
00:46:41.780 This day, back in 1917, Canadians kicked ass and took names in the name of the king and the empire, in the name of Canada, to fight the German onslaught at Vimy Ridge.
00:46:51.080 So, salute to those gentlemen that laid their asses on the line and who created history for this wonderful country we call Canada.
00:47:03.720 Anyway, I hope you do well.
00:47:05.480 I hope and wish for nothing but good things for you all out there.
00:47:09.440 We shall persevere and we shall find light at the end of this manufactured darkness.
00:47:14.180 Anyway, I've been Krusty Canuck.
00:47:15.860 Hope for the best.
00:47:16.640 Do what you can to help each other out in these trying times.
00:47:18.480 And remember, ladies and gentlemen, humanity and merit wins the day.
00:47:24.540 Take care, and I'll see you as probably Tuesday.
00:47:27.100 Bye for now.
00:47:48.480 This has been another episode of the Krusty Canuck podcast.
00:47:52.680 Stay sane and thank you for listening.
