The Crusty Canuck Podcast - Ep# 179 Happy Canada Day...sort of ？？？

00:00:00.420 Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. It's a beautiful 2nd of July, 2022.

00:00:05.120 Happy Dominion Day, or Canada Day out there to my fans and listeners.

00:00:09.020 Yes, happy Canada Day indeed, or sort of.

00:00:12.340 Some of the foolery and debauchery and some of the counter-protests that have been going on.

00:00:16.560 And personally, I just don't feel that it was a really good day.

00:00:20.280 All that more coming to the podcast, please. Stick around.

00:00:26.680 Hit it, sweetheart. 1.00

00:00:27.700 Because I am hard, you will not like me.

00:00:31.720 Yes, sir.

00:00:35.140 There is no racial bigotry here.

00:00:40.040 There you are always going to work.

00:00:44.020 From Western Canada, this is the Krusty Canuck podcast.

00:00:48.760 A Canadian veteran's point of view.

00:00:51.020 On political, social, economic issues, and life.

00:00:54.940 Here's Krusty.

00:00:57.700 That's right, ladies and gentlemen.

00:00:59.400 Happy Dominion Day, or Canada Day, past parts, sort of.

00:01:02.720 I'm your host, Krusty Canuck.

00:01:04.500 And yeah, I guess the past couple of days have been really interesting on the front of Canadian politics.

00:01:08.620 And in celebration of our glorious independence, or founding, more or less, back in 1867.

00:01:19.820 Yes, I'm wearing a different headdress today.

00:01:21.680 A little too hot for a toque, I might add.

00:01:24.580 But needless to say, this was a present from my father.

00:01:26.940 So before you ask me or send me a nasty comment about my headwear, it was a gift from my dad a few years ago when he was in Arizona.

00:01:34.580 Anyhow, welcome to Krusty Canuck podcast, episode 179.

00:01:37.800 Yes, Dominion Day has come and gone, ladies and gentlemen.

00:01:40.520 For those of us who still call it Dominion Day or Canada Day, either or I personally don't care.

00:01:45.720 July 1st, 1867, was when Sir Johnny MacDonald and four founding provinces of this country put together the Dominion of Canada

00:01:52.580 to more or less unite the peoples at that time against what appeared to be an American onslaught historically.

00:02:00.800 The Civil War just ended the United States.

00:02:03.280 America was expanding.

00:02:04.860 The United States was expanding.

00:02:06.340 Their territory is more west.

00:02:08.340 And there was a fear that if Canada didn't unite, then America might have gone up north and try to take some territory.

00:02:14.460 But that was just a sign of the times of the politics that time too.

00:02:17.860 Needless to say, it wasn't a bloody civil war in Canada.

00:02:20.880 It wasn't a battle.

00:02:21.440 It's just part of our history, ladies and gentlemen.

00:02:24.080 Now, I've sat and I've watched some news clips and I've read some articles in regards to Canada.

00:02:29.960 And I've seen a lot of people who want to disenfranchise this nation, ladies and gentlemen.

00:02:36.140 Regardless of how imperfect we are and regardless of how you feel about democracy,

00:02:40.980 every democracy is imperfect one way or the other, ladies and gentlemen.

00:02:44.780 Okay?

00:02:46.480 We can't always get things right the first time.

00:02:48.680 I get that.

00:02:49.240 And, of course, I'm the biggest critic that I know out there.

00:02:51.880 That's against this liberal brand, what they call government.

00:02:56.660 But needless to say, I am pretty thankful and grateful that I served 20 years in the Canadian Forces as an infantry soldier.

00:03:05.820 And I worked my butt off to get the rank of sergeant.

00:03:10.400 And I merited to get to my warrants course, too.

00:03:14.980 So, needless to say, I did my effort for queen and country, per se.

00:03:19.620 Now, regardless of how flawed our system is in regards to looking after people, and I mean all people, not just a handful here or a handful there.

00:03:31.320 Okay?

00:03:32.140 We've seen the plight and the struggle that our First Nations have gone through.

00:03:37.700 But we've also witnessed the plight and the struggle that a lot of our middle class has gone through.

00:03:44.840 And that doesn't mean one group of middle class here or one group of middle class there.

00:03:49.540 That's all Canadian middle class. 0.94

00:03:51.660 It doesn't matter if they're black, white, Asian, First Nation.

00:03:55.120 It doesn't matter if they're European descent. 0.91

00:03:57.300 It doesn't matter if they're Caucasian. 0.99

00:03:58.800 It doesn't matter if they're part this or part that.

00:04:02.640 Okay?

00:04:03.300 I, for one, am getting tired of this division and this class system that's constantly being rammed down our effing throats all the time.

00:04:12.100 Okay?

00:04:13.540 Now, where I work, it's simple.

00:04:18.220 Show up to work on time.

00:04:19.260 Do the best you can.

00:04:20.840 Show some courtesy and respect to the best of your ability.

00:04:23.860 And then do the best job you can.

00:04:26.140 And my employers notice that.

00:04:27.520 And I notice that in them, too.

00:04:29.940 And they don't care about my background.

00:04:31.740 They don't care what I stand for.

00:04:34.500 They don't care if I promote liberty.

00:04:36.240 They don't care if I promote democracy.

00:04:37.860 They just want me to show up and do my job as the best of my ability.

00:04:41.280 And because of that, I do well.

00:04:45.180 Right?

00:04:45.820 I got a raise there last month.

00:04:47.080 I didn't even know it.

00:04:48.280 So I was quite pleased with that.

00:04:50.060 But the cost of living is affecting everybody in this country.

00:04:52.920 Now, I downloaded some footage from Trudeau's glorious speech there in Ottawa.

00:04:59.100 But I'm not going to put it on here today, ladies and gentlemen.

00:05:01.340 Because I think you and I both know, and to my American listeners out there and some of my new European listeners who have graciously said hello.

00:05:10.300 Now, hello back. 1.00

00:05:10.960 We all know that our Prime Minister is a fucking joke. 1.00

00:05:15.760 Okay? 1.00

00:05:16.340 We all know that our Prime Minister is full of it.

00:05:19.920 Doesn't matter what he talks about, whether it's the economy, whether it's the climate change.

00:05:24.940 He's going to save the world at our expense.

00:05:27.960 Right?

00:05:28.420 Or anything in general.

00:05:29.980 Okay?

00:05:30.780 Now, I've said numerous times in the podcast, ladies and gentlemen, that I have lost all respect for the Prime Minister for a very, very good reason.

00:05:37.420 Because he lies through his teeth and he doesn't care about you or me.

00:05:40.960 You know, he talks about diversity.

00:05:42.460 But the moment you promote any kind of diversity of thought, which I think is the foundation of diversity in itself, he just dismisses you.

00:05:52.280 Okay?

00:05:53.460 And I remind everybody here, too, what he said in Quebec television about the unvaccinated, calling them all racist and misogynists and sexist and just terrible people all together. 0.75

00:06:03.540 Oh, my God. 0.94

00:06:04.360 How dare you not get a shot? 1.00

00:06:05.400 And this is coming from my ass clown that got the beer bug three times. 1.00

00:06:09.500 Three times in the past seven months. 0.99

00:06:13.780 How effective are those jibby jabs, Mr. Trudeau?

00:06:18.600 Right?

00:06:19.100 How effective are they if you get sick three times in the month?

00:06:22.860 Right?

00:06:23.260 Now, when I look at Canada Day, I look at it as a day to celebrate this nation.

00:06:27.440 Now, I've dealt with some people over the past couple years, actually, since I started doing this podcast, in regards to how Canada is this and Canada is that. 0.53

00:06:35.980 And, oh, my God, Canada is such a terrible country.

00:06:37.820 Is it?

00:06:40.160 Is it so terrible when you cash a welfare check?

00:06:43.520 Is it so terrible when you collected the CERB or the CIVA?

00:06:46.880 Now, I'm not saying everybody that was on the CERB or CIVA took it for granted.

00:06:53.840 There were genuine people out there and genuine business owners that needed that help because of some of the ridiculous mandates and the bureaucratic BS that kept their faces to the ground.

00:07:06.560 But I also caught a few people bragging about how they got the free this and free that.

00:07:15.280 So, it puts things in perspective. 0.98

00:07:17.400 And some people speculate that that's why the inflation is so high because so many people took advantage of that handout or that free money, which I think is bullshit. 0.86

00:07:26.960 But you and I both know that the inflation is government. 0.91

00:07:32.260 Right?

00:07:32.720 They refused to open the markets to let our oil flow.

00:07:34.940 They refused to open the markets to let our natural resources flow.

00:07:37.520 They don't want to give the agriculture a fair shake because they want to label burger meat with warning labels.

00:07:45.320 Right? 0.86

00:07:45.900 And they want to encourage us to eat crickets and that Beyond Meat garbage.

00:07:49.760 I personally watched a friend of mine take one of those Beyond Meat burgers, cook it, and give it to his dog.

00:07:59.600 Needless to say, I've never seen such a sadder look on an animal's face in my life.

00:08:03.580 Kind of like the look I want to see on Justin's face when he gets humiliated.

00:08:08.640 I mean, what do I know?

00:08:21.600 And yes, ladies and gentlemen, we're back to episode 179.

00:08:28.740 Happy Dominion Day, Canada.

00:08:29.980 Or Canada Day.

00:08:30.840 Sort of.

00:08:31.780 Yeah.

00:08:32.180 The feeling just wasn't there.

00:08:33.460 Like, I was working yesterday.

00:08:35.820 Canada Day.

00:08:36.660 You know.

00:08:36.900 I was working until about 4 o'clock.

00:08:39.760 Did some housework.

00:08:40.960 Helped my wife out here and all that.

00:08:42.340 We just chilled.

00:08:43.280 And, you know.

00:08:44.120 And we both agreed that we are grateful to be living in this country, regardless of what has happened.

00:08:49.640 Especially what has happened the past seven months.

00:08:53.360 Right?

00:08:53.760 Now, I'm going to play a little video from Rebel Media there.

00:08:58.360 And there was a bit of a protest there.

00:09:00.500 And before I start this video, I want to say a special thank you out there and a well-done effort to Warrant Officer James Taub.

00:09:08.500 Correction.

00:09:09.100 Warrant Officer James Taub.

00:09:10.420 He's a reservist out of BC who took it upon himself to get a few allies and a few buddies with him to march across Canada.

00:09:18.100 And I think the actual distance he marched was 4,297 kilometers from Vancouver to Ottawa.

00:09:26.900 Okay?

00:09:27.960 And this man took the initiative upon himself to march that distance.

00:09:34.220 And I think he started in the end of March or early April to make his way here.

00:09:38.420 Well, he passed through Alberta.

00:09:40.060 But to make his way to Ottawa at the War Memorial and to show his respects.

00:09:43.500 Now, I should have done a couple of episodes about this gentleman earlier.

00:09:49.780 My apologies to my fellow vets out there for not doing it.

00:09:52.560 And Mr. Taub, if you're listening, well done to you, Ajedon.

00:09:56.860 C'est bon effet, mon ami.

00:10:00.240 Jamon de pays.

00:10:02.280 Right?

00:10:03.180 So that's well worth the effort.

00:10:07.760 You know?

00:10:08.300 Now, we all know the story about Terry Fox, how he ran across the country.

00:10:12.020 Right?

00:10:12.460 He left Newfoundland and made his way, I think, to Thunder Bay until he got sick again.

00:10:17.320 And then, you know, he passed on.

00:10:20.940 But Mr. Taub did roughly the same thing with the pack on his back and marched for freedom

00:10:26.180 and marched against the ridiculous mandates this country is still enduring for the most part.

00:10:32.420 Right?

00:10:32.740 So if anyone's listening who knows Mr. Taub, tell him I say thank you.

00:10:37.600 One veteran to the next.

00:10:39.340 One Krusty Canuck to the next.

00:10:40.820 Thank you very much for that outstanding effort.

00:10:44.220 God bless your courage.

00:10:45.660 God bless your integrity.

00:10:47.720 And well done on you, Warrant Officer. 1.00

00:10:49.700 Well fucking done. 0.99

00:10:52.100 But the rebel media put together something at the war memorial today. 0.99

00:10:56.420 I think it was recorded about six hours ago, according to the standards here.

00:11:00.060 But I'll just cue it up here for you.

00:11:02.000 And I want you guys to listen to it carefully.

00:11:05.640 Okay?

00:11:07.340 And make your own decision when it comes to this.

00:11:10.220 Now, the counter protesters are really nothing to worry about.

00:11:14.260 But and I'm all for freedom of speech and freedom of choice and everything and expression

00:11:19.080 regards to what point you have or what point this person has.

00:11:22.800 We can all do it. 0.94

00:11:24.140 But when I look at these clowns, the way they're reacting and pay attention to some of the signs 0.93

00:11:28.780 that you're going to see in this footage here, too. 0.84

00:11:31.360 Okay?

00:11:31.660 Pay attention to it carefully.

00:11:33.180 To see how these individuals are reacting to what Mr. Topp did.

00:11:39.240 Okay?

00:11:39.920 And you, my beautiful audience out there, I want you to make a sound and vibrant decision

00:11:46.420 on regards to what some of the opinions that individuals have in this country when it comes

00:11:53.060 to people doing the hard work or doing what it takes to make a point.

00:12:00.280 Now, I'll just cue this up here.

00:12:01.360 But as I say again, ladies and gentlemen, as I say again, you know, listen carefully to

00:12:07.860 what these individuals are saying to Mr. Menzies and the other rebel reporter there.

00:12:12.760 I know he's relatively new, but and it doesn't matter if you listen to rebel or not or watch

00:12:16.000 rebel.

00:12:16.540 It's just a different outsource, just a different source of information for you out there to

00:12:21.340 listen to.

00:12:22.460 So I'll cue this up here.

00:12:24.200 And like I say, you guys decide what's being said and what's being done here.

00:12:29.660 So, here we go.

00:12:33.760 Okay.

00:12:35.760 Fill me without my permission.

00:12:37.760 Fill me without my permission.

00:12:40.760 Fill me without your permission.

00:12:43.760 Fill me without your permission.

00:12:45.760 Fill me without my permission.

00:12:47.760 Fill me without my permission.

00:12:48.760 Fill me with my permission.

00:12:49.760 Too many of the same things.

00:12:51.760 Can you take a step back please?

00:12:53.480 Thank you.

00:12:54.500 I want you a cup of time to do.

00:12:55.620 Okay.

00:12:56.700 Fill me without my permission.

00:12:58.240 My God.

00:12:58.760 Now, you see that one lady there? 1.00

00:12:59.760 She has a sign saying Holocaust deniers.

00:13:01.760 deniers now i don't recall anybody on the convoy or anybody protesting in ottawa denying said

00:13:07.600 holocaust like just wow you know and of course you can see the sign right there it says you know 1.00

00:13:14.400 fuck fascist well yeah but when i look at these anti-fuck clowns or these so-called progressive 1.00

00:13:20.060 clowns are they promoting freedom or are they promoting fascism anyway i'll carry on 1.00

00:13:31.760 david menzies for rebel news here in ottawa well i'm at the beautiful national war memorial 0.98

00:13:45.680 and you know something folks um we were here less than 24 hours ago more than a thousand people had

00:13:53.240 assembled to welcome james top he is the reservist who has been walking across canada going back to

00:14:01.560 february he's covered more than 4 300 kilometers if you can imagine and there was a wonderful

00:14:09.240 reception here to gather him but not everybody was on side because further down the street here

00:14:14.760 from the national war memorial there were the antifa types and we right away noticed their signs and they

00:14:23.080 were demonizing mr top as a fascist as a traitor well that's pretty harsh so in any event we crossed the

00:14:33.480 street to go over there to get their side of the story didn't go all that well check it out 0.83

00:14:40.040 hi ma'am i'm just reading your sign james top is a traitor oh i'm interviewing a squeezy toy

00:14:48.120 you know i had no idea i was in front of a daycare so you can

00:15:02.440 okay now look at that sign hate symbols okay and no hate symbols no hate speech but we'll sit here

00:15:16.040 we'll promote our hatred for you yeah not a contradiction at all hey way to go lady

00:15:20.760 yeah gotta keep your mask on

00:15:30.280 maybe it's time to go see your buddy james top

00:15:34.120 hey hey touch touch film me without my permission

00:15:38.600 film me without your permission

00:15:42.120 okay and what's with all those squeaky toys like

00:16:00.360 all these squeaky squeaky squeaky toys oh please please we're standing up for a right yeah you do

00:16:05.720 you know antifa you you antifa associates you people there at that protest

00:16:10.120 okay engaging with uh you know the menzoid menzies and the rest of the rebel team there 0.71

00:16:14.280 you have every right to speak your mind and to claim your product that's fine but the squeaky toys 0.99

00:16:19.560 really uh uh well oh fuck whatever it just keeps going to prove that crack don't smoke itself but 0.99

00:16:27.400 i'll carry on 1.00

00:16:37.400 you

00:16:42.840 excuse me

00:16:44.840 you know what

00:16:46.840 you

00:16:48.840 we're peaceful they're the ones coming to have you seen the things

00:16:52.600 okay well why are you talking to them

00:16:55.240 why aren't you talking to them we have been peaceful can you please start talking to those

00:17:00.840 you

00:17:06.280 that's pretty profound it's it's it sounded like flatulence

00:17:10.280 very good job hey ma'am are you not able to articulate your point while you're protesting here today

00:17:16.280 okay

00:17:21.720 it's a very healthy looking time thank you

00:17:28.120 so can you give us an example of the lie sir

00:17:31.720 why would you think i got this suit from the sally answer because i saw it

00:17:37.160 okay

00:17:50.600 oh is that right okay then well i thank you for the advice from the oshawa or the ottawa

00:17:58.040 fashion plate thank you very much

00:18:02.440 okay so he's making fun of menzoid's

00:18:06.040 suit okay i get it not that it really matters but you're obviously not proving your point there

00:18:11.160 buckeye and notice the guy just behind menzies there with the big beard i guess he had a sign

00:18:17.640 saying he remembers his oath as a veteran well i remember my oath to let people speak their minds

00:18:23.880 right solemn affirmation a lot of good stuff and he also he's also holding up a sign that says i'm

00:18:28.600 here to mop the top now look at this individual

00:18:33.560 mr top just marched across the country and i think buddy there with the beard i think spent

00:18:40.360 more time marching to the buffet than marching off the buffet if you catch my drift but that's you

00:18:46.280 know that's just me though yeah and we'll carry on with this little story for you all

00:18:53.480 a bunch of police officers here what is the purpose of squeezing that chicken man

00:18:59.480 why is the rainbow flag here what does that have to do with anything

00:19:13.400 so the group that claims that we are lying people aren't able to articulate one particular instance

00:19:19.320 where we have lied liars

00:19:23.480 as you can see we saw a counter protest for uh mr top some are equating top to be a fascist

00:19:32.360 or an a-hole i don't know why and that's why we came across the street it was to

00:19:38.280 get their side of the story but they're just chanting liars and a lot of them have little

00:19:45.240 squeeze toys i don't know what the significance of that is i know efran encountered that in ottawa

00:19:50.360 back from rolling thunder and we have many members of the fine audible police service here

00:19:57.320 i can't say i'm not happy to see them because these people tend to act out violently they are

00:20:04.760 anti-fa but as i've always said anti-fa is a contraction of anti and fascist but they just

00:20:12.440 use fascism it's just fa not anti-fa what do you make of this william this is your city exactly i

00:20:18.440 find this absolutely ridiculous to hear them say we are liars but when i ask them what are we lying

00:20:23.080 about they aren't able to say one single instance where we have lied these people put their signs up to

00:20:28.200 our face the flag and that's typical too i've encountered some lefties and i've chanted some

00:20:34.600 communists during this journey and they never have anything substantial to throw out the

00:20:39.000 conversation like i mentioned earlier in the show ladies and gentlemen our democracy is not perfect

00:20:44.360 nor i don't think it ever will be but when you see individuals like that presented to you

00:20:50.040 submitted for your approval right what exactly comes to mind now i believe in their freedom of

00:20:55.880 speech they have every right there to protest what anyone is doing but then again you're looking at

00:21:00.440 maybe a dozen or more people that are protesting against one man that took it upon himself to do 0.97

00:21:05.800 something wonderful okay and you've probably seen that that that bigger bastard in there with the 0.87

00:21:12.360 big beard and remember his oath and he's he's there to mop up the top okay now in his case i will say is 0.88

00:21:19.240 that with gravy or without right i think you've had a little too much mopping at the salad well not the

00:21:26.520 salad bar you need the salad bar buddy that's just me though to our face the two police officers that

00:21:32.040 came in earlier told us that we had to remain peaceful when the sign had been placed to our faces

00:21:38.680 so i find that the hypocrisy in this situation is absolutely pregnant and i would clearly like to

00:21:44.760 hear what we have lied about because they cannot say one single thing well i'm very interested you know

00:21:50.840 they use a lot of profanity on their signs it's funny that this sign says pardon me folks off fascist

00:21:58.280 but i understand you can't bring an f trudeau sign on parliament hill but here's the full meal deal i guess

00:22:05.160 it's okay on the streets of ottawa also william what do you make of this um rainbow flag i mean uh

00:22:11.240 i guess today is the last day of white flag it's missing the climate change little tree on it to

00:22:16.840 be fully complete but no it's absolutely ridiculous let's look at some of the uh the signs there you

00:22:21.720 see yeah this veteran remember i tried interviewing this individual and he won't have the fight flag 0.86

00:22:27.240 there this is unacceptable right behind it yeah he's putting it up front fascist yeah 0.96

00:22:34.040 fuck up fascist there too but not a single person can say can back up their claims but that really 0.98

00:22:40.120 shows what the lgbtq leftist movement is all about folks that's really what it's about i i just don't get 0.98

00:22:46.040 it i mean you know our mission is to bring you the other side of the story but here's the question

00:22:52.600 what happens when the other side won't give you their side of the story you know what it reminds me

00:22:58.040 of just up the road back in april when we came across uh the ottawa version of witchy poo do you

00:23:04.360 remember no more comments lady check it out please go away okay no more comments no more comments

00:23:11.480 it just seems no more comments no more comments

00:23:18.040 for those of you who don't know who witchy poo is i'll just remind some of my older audience there too

00:23:22.360 there used to be a tv show on back in the 70s for kids called hr puff and stuff and she was the villain 1.00

00:23:29.000 so uh you guys make your own assumptions no more comments no more comments no more comments

00:23:48.840 well that's this is no more comments lady on steroids isn't it well that's what's happening 1.00

00:23:53.560 that's like what the culture is nowadays in universities that's what you see all the time

00:23:57.320 you never see an articulate point you only see protesters like i was at the university of

00:24:01.320 ottawa before and that's what you would see all the time but no one would never say anything that 1.00

00:24:06.200 is articulate they would all say liar like this man right here they would all wear the stupid rainbow 0.97

00:24:11.240 flag like what's there right here and they would all have signs like this so folks the jury just shows 0.99

00:24:16.200 what the movement is all about it's not about being inclusive it's not about discussion it's about

00:24:21.960 being fascist and excluding conservatives that's what it's about david you know i think you're right

00:24:27.480 and uh folks uh oh that i guess they ran out of breath uh the uh uh noise has stopped but i'll end

00:24:34.760 up with this folks i think if you cannot articulate your point i think if you resort to ad hominem attacks

00:24:44.280 well you know what you've just lost the debate by default for rebel news i'm david the menzoid menzies

00:24:51.960 folks i'm going to um reach out to you and make a plea if you can go to ottawa reports dot ca

00:25:00.520 that's ottawa anyway i'll leave it at that ladies and gentlemen yeah you can follow rebel media here

00:25:04.360 on youtube and anywhere else it does that matter good bunch of folks there at uh rebel media in

00:25:10.120 regards if you like it or not it just

00:25:15.560 that's the joy of canada ladies and gentlemen you can speak your mind but i i think the past convoy

00:25:20.440 has proven that there are a lot of politicians out there who just don't understand the magic word

00:25:25.480 of you know free speech more important than your feelings ladies and gentlemen that's the thing

00:25:32.760 right that's the thing and uh you know these individuals have every right to speak their mind

00:25:38.360 and i encourage that too it doesn't matter right i still laugh at that guy with the sign i'm here to

00:25:43.240 mop up the top and i'm thinking well you know um mr james top marched across the country and i'm

00:25:49.720 pretty sure buddy he'd take you for a run or two he'd probably knock your your block off he'd probably

00:25:54.680 hit you so hard that he knocked that beard off your face and maybe about 20 pounds of that gravy that

00:25:59.080 you had the night before but you know that's just me what do i know stay updated and follow crusty

00:26:05.560 canuck on facebook twitter gab telegram youtube and podbean subscribe today and donate at crustycanuck.ca

00:26:17.960 and just a reminder too folks you like to hear what you see please click like and subscribe i know i

00:26:21.320 should say that before i started my rambling anyway but you can also find me on twitter facebook rumble

00:26:26.920 instagram youtube getter and podbean and wherever else you can put the crusty crusty canuck podcast

00:26:34.120 here ladies and gentlemen too you can also uh listen to my podcast as i mentioned on podbean on uh

00:26:41.720 player fm and i believe i'm still on amazon too so please check me out there just look for crusty

00:26:46.360 canuck on amazon player fm and of course podbean we're getting back to this whole happy canada day so

00:26:52.360 yeah it is a happy day and regardless of what politicians say regardless of what certain

00:26:58.120 individuals say yeah we have a history of some bloodshed we have a history of hardship and when

00:27:04.600 i listen to the progressive left talk about inclusivity and fairness and equality

00:27:11.080 what's stopping you kids from doing the same okay there is a small little fraction that i just

00:27:19.240 displayed for you is all there okay are you promoting inclusivity no you're not you're condemning a man

00:27:27.560 for marching across the country to talk about freedom and yet you kids are saying oh it's fascism

00:27:33.000 fascism yet half you guys promote a proletariat that is just similar to fascism where you have to

00:27:39.800 award everything to one leader or to the state so how can you be promoting equality and diversity

00:27:46.760 when you promote totalitarianism on your own turf but you claim to be anti-fascist you claim

00:27:51.960 to be anti-tyrannical you claim to be this and that and yet i don't think even half years have

00:27:57.720 have worked for a living now you noticed in that little tidbit i played for you is all there

00:28:02.040 how many union flags were there representing unions okay i'm all for unions when they protect workers

00:28:09.800 when they actually protect the worker not protect the union okay and if any indication of that

00:28:18.200 yagmeet singh has promoted that drastically since the little merger with the liberal party they're

00:28:23.960 protecting themselves so if anybody out there who disagrees with this podcast i highly suggest you

00:28:30.840 write me an email or engage me in some kind of political debate and try to prove me wrong

00:28:36.360 wrong the canada i fought for has always been inclusive 1.00

00:28:45.480 it says so in our anthem we stand on guard for thee the canada i believe in has always been welcoming

00:28:52.760 to the less fortunate i was personally raised in a household where you don't judge people based on

00:28:59.400 their gender or color of skin you judge people based on how they treat others

00:29:06.360 that simple i don't hate the first nations i don't hate asians i don't hate blacks i don't hate 0.65

00:29:12.920 fellow white people if that means anything right i hate the term people of color because i'd rather

00:29:18.920 just call them people not people of you know what i mean it just keeps promoting more division here 0.99

00:29:25.800 and the ass clown we have as prime minister loves it okay he loves it he's promoted himself with his 0.99

00:29:35.720 blackface cartoons with his groping allegations with his favorite little political parties the way he 0.99

00:29:41.320 treated jose jody joe not josey jody wilson raybold the way he treat other female members of his of his

00:29:47.720 caucus and his cabin how he's treated other parliamentarians okay now not every party is perfect

00:29:53.240 okay but when you look at this inflation it's not about people that took the service it's about

00:29:58.920 the government spending money hiding it lying about it and then expecting you and i to pay for it

00:30:06.360 right it's that simple well then what do we know right i'd just like to remind you what the liberal

00:30:13.160 party represents join the liberal party of canada we'll tell you what to think what to do how to wipe

00:30:24.120 how to pick your nose oh the name of safety

00:30:30.360 and of course the compatriots of the ndp you know mr jagmeet singh and his five thousand dollar

00:30:35.080 suits and his bmw and his beautiful rolex but you know you get to see where they stand for too

00:30:43.480 join today's ndp we'll keep moving the goal posts you don't walk the line for us we'll call you racist 0.89

00:30:50.040 misogynistic xenophobic homophobic we look for racism in everything please join the ndp today and 0.89

00:30:57.960 subscribe and donate please walk our line thank you it's pretty self-explanatory ladies and gentlemen 0.92

00:31:05.560 okay now actually a little a little uh a little tidbit there i was going to say for this uh this

00:31:10.440 podcast but i deleted the email uh needs to say had this little exchange with with some clown um i had

00:31:17.240 no idea if it was he or she or if they identified as shoe reserve or porcupine i don't know it doesn't

00:31:23.080 matter to me what matters to me is this person had the audacity to try to tell me that uh so many

00:31:29.400 people were fleeing to cuba and that us canadians had no idea what we're talking about especially some

00:31:35.640 old crusty guy like myself oh thank you oh that's right some old crusty guy sit on back and have some

00:31:43.400 sexy radio with the old crusty guy yeah that's right well this old crusty guy has seen totalitarianism

00:31:51.160 and its results and i personally thought that what we did in afghanistan was try to annihilate said

00:31:58.120 totalitarianism but i guess it didn't work 0.94

00:32:02.680 you know uh shit happens what can we say but i never in vain as far as i'm concerned and i've 0.86

00:32:10.360 actually had some really good in-depth conversations with people that survived totalitarianism 0.99

00:32:16.360 you know mr arter polowski out of calgary who feeds the homeless he grew up in poland during

00:32:23.960 the solidarity movement okay another lady that lived in the former czech czechoslovakia which is

00:32:30.280 now the czech republic and the slovak republics respectively who grew up with that communist idea

00:32:36.360 i've talked to cubans and i've talked to russians i've talked to people that fought in the second

00:32:41.160 world war and i've talked to people that fought in the korean war and i've had the honor of talking

00:32:45.320 to people that fought in vietnam too and their perspectives changed drastically when it came to

00:32:51.880 the bad guys and good guys and politics and everything but nonetheless they all stepped up

00:32:56.760 and did their job to fight for what they thought was right for freedom okay you can fight for freedom

00:33:04.520 without picking up a rifle you can fight for freedom without beating someone's head in you can fight for

00:33:09.480 freedom without hurting people or damaging property and the convoy proved it regardless of how you feel

00:33:18.200 about it or not and the maple leaf is not a symbol of hatred or not a symbol to be taken back by one 1.00

00:33:25.720 side or the other it represents us as a whole justin liberal cabinet and your dirty fucking supporters 0.98

00:33:35.560 it represents this country as a whole so every virtue speech out there that's been given by this 1.00

00:33:42.520 to the masses by this ass clown null and void it he's disingenuine that man never fought for a 0.99

00:33:51.000 goddamn thing in his life neither did his cabinet this guy did and i got a few friends that are laying 1.00

00:33:59.320 around someplace that can prove that too there's a few buddies of mine still serving that are kicking 0.99

00:34:05.400 ass taking names that fought for that flag too so when someone tells you the canadian flag is a symbol of hatred

00:34:13.080 it tell them to jog on and tell them to learn how to stand up for something bigger than their feelings

00:34:21.560 or their comfort when they sacrifice something bigger than their faith space they might get one 0.96

00:34:29.640 eighth of the fucking idea but then you know like i said what do i know right 0.95

00:34:35.160 and as i mentioned earlier too ladies and gentlemen you can also find me on twitter facebook rumble 0.96

00:34:54.920 instagram youtube getter and podbean you can also find this podcast on player fm amazon podcasts and

00:35:01.640 podbean as well and we carry on again with more of this happy can today i am grateful to be a canadian

00:35:06.600 because we live in a democracy that is still working somewhat it's not perfect but i still have the

00:35:14.360 freedom to get up and go to work every day pay my bills come home kiss and love my wife and love all

00:35:20.520 you out there too my beautiful fan base and i want to say thank you very much to the newer subscribers

00:36:12.840 very much for all that and uh thank you to everyone out there who watches this

00:36:20.440 and enjoys it too help the algorithm out though please comment like subscribe share this all around

00:36:25.480 your social media platforms help a guy like myself out get the word out there before the federal 0.98

00:36:32.200 government wants to censor it because it's not canadian enough or because just want to cover their asses 0.53

00:36:37.560 because they think they're doing us a favor all right i think i'm carrying on with the whole 0.70

00:36:41.960 canadian thing too a lot of celebrations going around the nation there are a lot of fireworks uh

00:36:46.680 however the capital lost its luster uh because if you look around facebook there there was a list

00:36:52.040 the ottawa police put out uh in regards to noise and ordinance and stuff like that and how they're

00:36:57.240 going to find you so i guess they're trying to make some money out of the big fiasco when they got

00:37:01.800 caught with their pants down there back in february now i'm not disenfranchising any police officer 0.96

00:37:06.520 there's a few police officers i know in my life that are excellent fucking people they look after 0.95

00:37:10.520 their families and friends they just do their job the best of their ability but i also know they had 0.91

00:37:14.360 the integrity to question unlawful command too so that's a good thing right but when i look at the

00:37:19.240 fiasco that was promoted and the bitter division that i saw from that pretty sad but time will tell

00:37:28.760 what's going to happen we know that the war in ukraine isn't doing so well you know there's he said

00:37:35.960 he said all that good stuff and of course our prime minister is all over that like a dirty shirt he's

00:37:40.840 going to give away some more equipment to help the ukrainians and all that and i'm all for for helping

00:37:45.640 the little guy but i i think it's time we have to focus on helping this country more or less guys do 0.91

00:37:52.920 your effing fucking job right but you know what do i know but i'm not going to get emotional and angry 0.96

00:37:59.480 here too please stay tuned to my youtube page and facebook page for updates as they come i'll be 0.99

00:38:06.120 posting this up here shortly so excuse me oh i've been a long day i did some extra yard work today

00:38:13.160 so i'm a little tired but needless to say i had to get an episode up here for you all my wonderful

00:38:18.040 audience because you guys are fucking awesome and don't let anybody tell you any different right

00:38:22.760 um but uh i just i i just get so fed up with these individuals and what they're trying to promote 0.94

00:38:32.040 right all this virtue stuff and there's people out there that buy it up and then lap it all up

00:38:36.280 but i'm thankful this nation because i fought for this nation i'm thankful for my home i'm thankful for

00:38:40.840 my family my friends and let's keep promoting our free speech while we still have it folks

00:38:46.280 let's go out in the streets wave the flag proudly because the canadian flag is probably the most

00:38:52.760 inclusive flag on the planet you know next to our friends in the states next the union jack you see

00:38:59.640 behind me there too right everyone living in this country as far as i'm concerned is included in

00:39:06.520 everything we have the equality of opportunity that's what makes it rocks not because of you know just

00:39:14.120 equality for the sake of equality you know everyone gets a trophy everyone gets a prize

00:39:18.680 no you got to earn that trophy get on that prize the opportunity to do it is what's worth fighting for

00:39:25.000 and i'll fight for that till my dying days till my last breath anyway ladies and gentlemen
