00:00:00.620 Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. It's a beautiful 22nd of October, 2022.
00:00:06.120 Come at the podcast. Wasted cash for your safety. Yes.
00:00:09.960 The arrive can app scandal, the gun freeze and higher inflation.
00:00:15.400 All that more from the podcast. Please stick around.
00:00:18.200 Listener and viewer discretion is advised. I do swear and I smoke cigarettes.
00:00:22.720 Stay tuned.
00:00:27.020 Hit it, sweetheart.
00:00:28.140 Because I am hard, you will not like me.
00:00:32.160 Yes, sir.
00:00:35.540 There is no racial bigotry here.
00:00:40.460 There you are always going to work.
00:00:44.420 From Western Canada, this is the Krusty Canuck podcast.
00:00:49.200 A Canadian veteran's point of view.
00:00:51.440 On political, social, economic issues and life.
00:00:55.360 Here's Krusty.
00:00:58.800 That's right, ladies and gentlemen.
00:00:59.800 Welcome to another episode of the Krusty Canuck podcast.
00:01:01.440 I'm your host, Krusty Canuck.
00:01:03.160 Yes, as the title did say, wasted cash.
00:01:06.720 The arrive can app.
00:01:08.500 Wow.
00:01:08.820 54 million bucks it cost to produce this app to tell people what to do, when to do it, and how to do it.
00:01:14.100 All in the name of the whole cold beer bug that we've all experienced the past two and a half years.
00:01:18.880 All in the name of the Krusty Canuck podcast, I'll have links in my description, all that good stuff for you to follow in regards to where I got my information based on this week's episode.
00:01:28.040 Needless to say, it is just a real poop show.
00:01:30.800 It cost a Canadian taxpayer $54 million to put an app that you had to download on your phone every time you left the country or entered the country.
00:01:41.800 Just for the sake of your safety and your whereabouts.
00:01:44.680 Now, in the links I'll be sending, discussing, there were a few companies that were hired to put this program together.
00:01:54.520 GC Strategies, I believe, is one of them.
00:01:59.620 What I read in the article here, it basically says that they were consulted and they have five employees and they were given something like $1.2 million.
00:02:10.100 Anyhow, to make a long story short, I'll read along here too.
00:02:14.380 Let's see.
00:02:15.200 So, according to the report from the Global Mail, Conservative and Bloc Québécois, NDP members of Parliament can launch and committee and investigate in the Liberal government's $54 million spending on the Arrive Can app.
00:02:26.480 As the opposition parties have majority votes to proceed, Ottawa built the now optional Arrive Can app so that travellers could submit their vaccination status and other mandatory health information online before crossing the Canadian borders.
00:02:40.480 Creepy.
00:02:41.220 It's just a way to track you.
00:02:42.500 According to reports, the Liberal spending on the Arrive Can app is on track to exceed $54 million this year.
00:02:49.700 Ottawa hired 23 different contractors and several unidentified and classified subcontractors for the job.
00:02:58.520 Classified subcontractors for the job.
00:03:01.180 So much for transparency in that too.
00:03:04.000 Okay.
00:03:04.260 The most interesting aspect of the GC Strategies has three contracts with the federal government growing to a $45.2 million in value.
00:03:13.460 According to the Global Mail, GC Strategies has fewer than five employees and no standalone office as it is virtual only.
00:03:20.300 So out of people's homes, right?
00:03:22.000 The company is currently relying on over 75 subcontractors to fulfill more than a dozen contracts with federal government departments.
00:03:29.260 Talk about outsourcing, eh?
00:03:31.880 Oh, they're creating jobs.
00:03:33.580 Yeah.
00:03:34.020 Creating jobs for what?
00:03:35.860 To protect you and me?
00:03:36.720 I don't effing think so.
00:03:38.460 Both GC Strategies and government have refused to identify any of these subcontractors, arguing that their identities constitute confidential third-party information.
00:03:47.400 So that's self-explanatory.
00:03:48.820 That speaks for itself.
00:03:49.700 Conservative MP Kelly McCauley on Wednesday served formal notice as a motion urging the Government Operations Committee to launch his study into the Rive Can's cost.
00:03:59.000 Well, it's a ridiculous price.
00:04:00.940 $54 million.
00:04:02.500 75 subcontractors getting a piece of the pie of your money and my money?
00:04:08.080 McCauley's motion proposes a minimum of six days of hearings and a witness list that includes Public Safety Minister Marco Medicino, the wanker,
00:04:15.840 Health Minister Jean-Live Duclos, the gangster, and the other Cabinet Ministers, has also urged the Operations Committee to hear from several tech leaders who have spoken out about the app's cost.
00:04:26.800 How about the invasion of privacy?
00:04:28.400 Anyone want to talk about that?
00:04:30.120 Many of Canada's top tech companies were outraged when they learned that the government paid $54 million to develop, deploy, and maintain the Rive Can app.
00:04:37.920 Two companies held in internal hackathons to replicate the Rive Can and demonstrate that it should not have cost the Canadian taxpayers $54 million.
00:04:46.140 Laser Technologies built an Rive Can clone over the Thanksgiving weekend, as did Toronto-based Tribal Scale.
00:04:52.320 Now, apparently, those two companies put it together, and it would have cost the Canadian taxpayer $250,000.
00:04:59.940 $250,000, ladies and gentlemen, not $54 million.
00:05:03.860 This is an absolute waste of taxpayers' money with absolutely no oversight, no accountability, and no sense of caring from the government that this money could have been used better elsewhere.
00:05:11.640 Of course, we all can agree with that, but this is not a government of common sense, remember?
00:05:16.200 All kind.
00:05:16.600 Also, McCauley said in the statement Wednesday, a Conservative MP also wants the Operations Committee to obtain and examine contracts and other documents pertaining to the Rive Can app.
00:05:26.100 McCauley's motion could be put to a committee vote as soon as Monday.
00:05:29.780 Of course, Liberal MP Anthony Housefather, a member of the Operations Committee, said he would review the motion before deciding how he will vote.
00:05:35.840 Housefather believes that there has been a lot of misunderstanding regarding a Rive Can's price.
00:05:40.520 Now, he also swore, too, that it saved thousands of lives, this app, monitoring your whereabouts to and from, entering the country, leaving the country, et cetera, et cetera, which is a joke.
00:05:51.280 It's government control.
00:05:52.340 You and I both know that.
00:05:54.080 Anyway, I'll leave this link article in the description part of the podcast here, ladies and gentlemen.
00:06:01.840 And I also like to say this podcast is brought to you by the fine, fine people who believe in the following free speech.
00:06:08.020 That's right.
00:06:08.300 More important than your feelings.
00:06:09.860 Right.
00:06:10.280 And if you like and hear what you see, please click, like, subscribe, follow and share my content all over the place.
00:06:15.740 You can find my content on Twitter, Podbean, Getter, YouTube, Rumble, Instagram and Facebook.
00:06:20.920 Please subscribe to the page on Podbean, too, and try me out on my Facebook page.
00:06:25.940 Like here, what you see, please click, like, subscribe, all that good stuff around.
00:06:28.960 Anyway, carrying on with the whole wasted cash for your safety.
00:06:33.160 Yes.
00:06:34.000 So the Rivecam app proved to be bunk.
00:06:36.300 It did.
00:06:37.120 How many people were actually fined $6,500 for not using it?
00:06:40.580 Now, if you go to Rebel Media, the fine people there will probably show you a story or two or a few on exactly what was done to people who didn't use the Rivecam app.
00:06:50.100 There were a few individuals that received fines for $6,500 for not sharing that information.
00:06:57.620 Right.
00:06:57.780 Now, when someone says we're doing this for your safety or we're doing this for your benefit to help people, to help you, to help this, to help that, and threaten you with a fine, I don't think it's a real safety tool.
00:07:13.740 I don't think it is safe.
00:07:16.060 Right.
00:07:16.880 Oh, you don't want to show us your vaccination status?
00:07:19.020 Well, we'll fine you.
00:07:19.840 Oh, you don't want to pay your taxes?
00:07:21.280 We'll fine you.
00:07:22.040 You want to file your taxes?
00:07:23.120 We'll fine you.
00:07:24.120 Fine after fine after fine after fine.
00:07:26.560 And they wonder why people are getting angry.
00:07:30.100 They wonder why people are getting mad and frustrated with the government as we speak.
00:07:33.600 They wonder why paragraphs in certain news columns are showing animosity towards their leadership.
00:07:39.500 Well, it's not hard to fucking figure out, Buckeye.
00:07:41.860 Do the goddamn math.

00:07:55.080 And once again, ladies and gentlemen, if you'd like to hear what you see, please click like, subscribe, share this content all over the place.
00:08:03.380 I do swear on this show, so you have sensitive ears, please don't listen.
00:08:06.860 Listen to your own discretion, right?
00:08:08.860 Now, my logic is this when it comes to the Rive Cam.
00:08:10.940 I had no intentions of ever downloading, mind you, though, too, during the pandemic.
00:08:15.220 I was too damn busy trying to find work, and then when I did find work, I didn't have any time to really go and travel anywhere.
00:08:21.320 But there were friends of mine who have, and there were friends of mine who were scared to even download it because they were afraid of government tracking.
00:08:28.500 And you can sit there all you want, and you can tell people, oh, you're just a conspiracy theorist, or you're just this, or you're just that.
00:08:34.660 You know, but when I listen to these clowns talk about how it was important to have this application, how it was important to use it, my logic is this, and this is my rebuttal to them.
00:08:46.360 They deserve absolutely nothing.
00:08:50.980 And then some, with a few mild cuss words to back up my claim.
00:08:54.820 But I think you see my point, ladies and gentlemen.
00:08:56.860 So it's safe to assume that the Liberals have proved yet, once again, that they spent $54 million on an application that was divvied out between 75 other contractors, 75 other groups of interest.
00:09:10.920 So 75 other groups to put something together.
00:09:14.460 When I also read in this article, too, and I'll put my description, that two individuals over Thanksgiving weekend developed the same or cloned it, basically made the same facsimile on the smarts and the know-how they have for a fraction of the cost.
00:09:30.360 So what's that tell you?
00:09:32.180 So are these individuals in Ottawa looking out for our best interest?
00:09:35.720 Are they looking out to keep us safe?
00:09:37.840 Or are they looking out to track us?
00:09:40.380 That's what it is to me.
00:09:41.520 And there are people who have said, yeah, anytime you put any kind of government thing on your laptop or your phone or your truck or your car or anything at all, someone is tracking you.
00:09:52.200 There's probably somebody tracking me right now, speaking my mind, getting all hot and bothered because I'm promoting disinformation or misinformation.
00:10:00.040 Basically speaking my mind.
00:10:01.080 And I encourage you, my wonderful audience out there, too, to do the same.
00:10:04.480 I'll be right back.
00:10:05.220 Stay updated and follow Krusty Canuck on Facebook, Twitter, Gap, Telegram, YouTube, and Podbean.

00:10:17.200 And once again, ladies and gentlemen, looking to hear what you see, please click like and subscribe and share this content all over your social media platforms.
00:10:26.540 Help a young podcaster such as myself get the words out there so you, the audience, can decide and listen for yourselves and share this out.
00:10:33.360 I would like to make this a full-time commitment, ladies and gentlemen.
00:10:35.840 In a perfect world, I would like to make my podcasting a full-time commitment.
00:10:39.700 But I need people like you out there to make it happen.
00:10:41.880 And that's right.
00:10:42.420 So if you feel like donating, just follow the links in my description.
00:10:45.720 I use the Buy Me a Coffee app and I use the Stripe app.
00:10:48.480 I'm not using PayPal as much anymore because they've actually censored people.
00:10:52.060 And a little while ago, they've actually threatened to fine people for promoting disinformation or misinformation.
00:10:59.540 Everybody's so worried about being honest.
00:11:01.260 And yet we look at our leaders and they've never been honest with us highly.
00:11:05.440 You know, they've never gone that extra mile to tell us exactly what we need to hear.
00:11:10.840 Every time we need an answer to a question, they either ignore us or just promote the old, you know, same thing, right?
00:11:26.340 Now, I'll put a video up later if I can.
00:11:29.200 Yes, I do.
00:11:30.740 The other video I'm looking for is not available at the moment.
00:11:32.980 But I'll put a video up in a bit in regards to the banter that's been going in the House of Commons in regards to the wasted money and the inflation that we've all been witnessing the past six months.
00:11:45.080 Now, I did an episode there last year in regards to hyperinflation.
00:11:49.940 I don't have any tidbits or any clips of that, but it's in my library on YouTube and on Podbean.
00:11:55.120 And you can check that out for yourselves, ladies and gentlemen, where there's projection where people were saying it's not going to happen.
00:12:01.520 You know, we're borrowing money, so you don't have to borrow money.
00:12:04.020 We're paying the debt, so you don't have to pay the debt.
00:12:05.760 And it's like, well, how do Canadians pay the national debt?
00:12:09.580 It comes through our taxes.
00:12:12.000 Okay.
00:12:12.560 It comes through the taxes you and I pay.
00:12:15.080 It comes through the taxes that they pay.
00:12:17.220 She pays.
00:12:18.000 He pays.
00:12:18.560 They pay.
00:12:19.840 Canadians.
00:12:20.520 Working Canadians.
00:12:21.340 Okay.
00:12:23.140 Now, I know for a fact, too, that the past 20 years, middle-class workers, anyone who's making anywhere from $30,000 to $65,000 or more, okay, a year, pays a hell of a lot of taxes.
00:12:34.820 Why is that?
00:12:36.860 Right?
00:12:37.440 When you look at middle-class people, people that the majority of us Canucks are, people that work for a living, whether they have a mild career or a great career, or people that work in a factory, or people that work on a farm, or people that work in the trades.
00:12:51.340 Yours truly works on a beef operation.
00:12:54.060 So, yeah, I'm go, go, go all the time.
00:12:55.740 I'm a busy lad.
00:12:57.420 Okay.
00:12:58.060 It's because of my job.
00:12:59.300 I can only do four podcasts a month.
00:13:01.440 But, needless to say, I'm grateful that I'm employed.
00:13:03.660 I'm grateful my bills are paid.
00:13:04.780 And I'm grateful I'm not in debt.
00:13:06.560 But recently, I've received some, not really threatening letters, but some letters from the CRA stating, I didn't file here, didn't file there, or you'll pay a fine.
00:13:16.100 So, basically, it's a threat.
00:13:19.180 And I know a few other Canucks are in the same boat, too.
00:13:23.160 Now, the CRA, they say that's their own conglomerate.
00:13:26.680 But you can honestly tell they're still in cahoots with whatever present government is calling the shots.
00:13:31.220 It doesn't matter if it's this guy from this party, or that girl from this party, or this person here, this person there.
00:13:36.660 You can see that they're getting desperate for more coin.
00:13:40.880 And what better way to amplify that by sending threatening letters to people about what they owe?
00:13:47.080 Right.
00:13:48.920 So, I've said this before numerous times in my show, ladies and gentlemen.
00:13:52.420 When I look at my pay stubs, there's an average of anywhere from $800 to $1,000 that comes off my pay every month for my job.
00:14:03.580 Okay.
00:14:04.180 And I even volunteered an extra $40 a pay for taxes, too.
00:14:09.560 Okay.
00:14:09.900 So, I'll just summarize it and basically just round it up to the best of my ability.
00:14:15.520 You know, math.
00:14:16.800 And $1,000 for my job comes off my pay every month.
00:14:23.080 Plus, my military pension that I earned, I did 20 years.
00:14:27.160 Okay.
00:14:27.880 $600 comes off that.
00:14:29.740 So, it's safe to assume $1,500 to $1,600 a month comes off my pay for provincial and federal taxes.
00:14:37.880 Okay.
00:14:38.400 Now, there are people I know personally that are struggling to earn that every two weeks.
00:14:43.660 Yeah, the government just takes it.
00:14:45.020 Okay.
00:14:46.180 You know, we hear the same old adage all the time.
00:14:49.460 There's only two things certain in life.
00:14:51.540 That's death and taxes.
00:14:54.500 That's bullshit.
00:14:55.780 If you're a mortician and you're a tax collector, of course, it's certain.
00:14:59.820 But if you're an average Joe like you, me, your friend down the road, the interpretive dancer that lives upstairs, whatever.
00:15:07.040 Okay.
00:15:08.400 So, the certainty we need, my personal opinion, the certainty we need is that we need a fair tax system.
00:15:14.440 We are not being gouged every time.
00:15:16.720 So, if the government overspends, we're not getting it up the chuff.
00:15:20.120 Or if the government decides to buy this, we're not getting it here.
00:15:23.720 Or if the government decides to buy that, we're not getting it there.
00:15:26.780 Right?
00:15:27.000 Now, I've had some lengthy debates with some people on Twitter and in other pages discussing the whole pros and cons of the taxation system and the parliamentary democracy.
00:15:36.620 Now, here's my take on it.
00:15:39.560 It's greed.
00:15:41.460 Okay.
00:15:41.880 Now, all the NDP aficionados out there and all the liberal aficionados out there and some of you conservatives aficionados out there, too, talking about how taxes are certain for this and taxes are important here and taxes are important there.
00:15:53.980 Okay.
00:15:55.380 Then, why do you keep upping the ante?
00:15:59.900 If taxes are so bloody important, how come you get a pay raise?
00:16:03.000 Oh, because of taxes.
00:16:04.880 Right?
00:16:05.000 How come we don't have any products going out of this country, yet you have more taxes to pay off this debt?
00:16:10.300 Now, this is my best guess here.
00:16:11.700 I never said on my show ever that I was an economist or a geologist or a sociologist or any kind of ist.
00:16:19.520 Okay.
00:16:19.740 I don't carry any fancy degrees.
00:16:21.300 I just carry a lot of life experience.
00:16:23.780 Okay.
00:16:24.740 You run a business, you've got to spend money to make money.
00:16:26.820 That's understandable.
00:16:28.040 But, see, our government doesn't run this country like a business.
00:16:30.520 It runs it like a welfare state.
00:16:32.720 Okay.
00:16:32.860 And, every so often, too, I've been looking at my Facebook feeds and all that, and I keep seeing the UBI concept keep coming up.
00:16:39.960 And, all these CEOs talking about UBI, UBI.
00:16:43.040 Oh, it's great.
00:16:44.260 UBI is great.
00:16:45.840 It would be great for a company to enforce UBI because that gives them a set salary to follow.
00:16:51.480 They don't have to worry about paying any kind of overhead or paying kind of overtime because, well, you've got UBI.
00:16:55.560 You can work for me and get this.
00:16:57.720 What a con.
00:16:59.640 Right?
00:16:59.900 So, you can see what we're being sized up here for, ladies and gentlemen.
00:17:03.600 You can see that we're being sized up for all these wonderful things in regards to taxes and UBI.
00:17:08.560 A little experiment happened with people getting the CERB and CERB payments back during the pandemic.
00:17:14.020 Right?
00:17:14.860 But, see, when it comes to taxes, I'm getting sick of it.
00:17:17.020 And I don't care how you feel about roads, about schools, about this or that, because we're looking at our school system.
00:17:23.340 There are kids having trouble reading.
00:17:25.200 And they're putting more emphasis on worrying about kids' sexual identity rather than the actual identity as being a young, able-bodied human being to get out and enjoy life as we see it.
00:17:33.720 Right?
00:17:33.820 But when people talk to me about taxes and how I should pay my federal fair share, I just go, roads?
00:17:41.120 Who needs no stinking roads?

00:18:20.280 Anyway, I'm having trouble speaking English.
00:18:21.680 There's so much information coming out here as we speak.
00:18:25.800 So the more and more we talk about money coming and going and how people deny the inflation,
00:18:32.120 here's a little tidbit and special thank you out there to Safe Space Cafe for uploading this on the tube.
00:18:38.520 Please consider listening to this to the best of your abilities.
00:18:42.060 And then decide amongst yourselves who is right and who is wrong when it comes to spending money in this country
00:18:50.220 and who we put in charge of our finances too, ladies and gentlemen.
00:18:54.880 Because we keep seeing a lot of, well, how do you say, just BS with these leaders.
00:19:03.680 Just BS with these leaders.
00:19:05.580 So I'm just queuing it up here too to get this ready to rock and roll for you as all.
00:19:12.320 Just give me a sec here and we'll get ready to rock here.
00:19:16.460 So.
00:19:20.220 The Honourable Leader of the Opposition.
00:19:24.600 Bill, what a flip-flop.
00:19:25.960 After adding $100 billion of new debt before the first case of COVID,
00:19:29.900 half trillion dollars of debt before the Russian invasion of Ukraine,
00:19:33.580 doubling the debt, adding more debt than all other Prime Ministers combined,
00:19:37.260 now the Prime Minister's government is saying they're going to cut $9 billion
00:19:41.120 and even bring in my pay-as-you-go law to find savings for every new dollar I'm spending.
00:19:46.360 But wait.
00:19:47.800 They now admit that deficits add fuel to the inflationary fire.
00:19:52.800 But can we really trust the arsonists who lit the fire to put it out?
00:19:57.980 The Honourable Government House Leader.
00:20:00.300 Mr. Speaker, I would obviously pose a question, which is during the pandemic,
00:20:07.680 what would have they cut?
00:20:08.680 What supports would they not have offered to Canadians?
00:20:11.540 In what way would they have not been there when Canadians needed them most?
00:20:15.260 Sit down, Pee-wee.
00:20:20.220 That's a really, really bad tie.
00:20:23.400 Anyway, I'll carry on.
00:20:24.600 The second question I would ask, Mr. Speaker,
00:20:26.620 as we enter a time that is the most difficult,
00:20:29.000 probably that the globe has faced since the Second World War,
00:20:32.520 that demands responsible leadership.
00:20:35.780 Amplifying anxiety is easy, Mr. Speaker.
00:20:38.000 Solutions are hard.
00:20:39.300 Are they going to support dental care for those that need it, Mr. Speaker?
00:20:42.400 The Honourable Leader of the Opposition.
00:20:45.260 What would we have cut?
00:20:47.300 We would have cut the...
00:20:48.520 Okay, well, there's a hell of a lot more at stake here
00:20:50.680 than just dental care for some needy children.
00:20:53.280 Now, I'm all for dental care.
00:20:54.340 I'm all for medical care.
00:20:55.480 I'm all for that good stuff.
00:20:56.700 But...
00:20:57.420 Wow.
00:21:00.380 We're in economic turmoil here because of people like him
00:21:03.960 and the people he represents.
00:21:06.560 And it seems ironic.
00:21:07.620 Every time Parliament's called,
00:21:09.460 Justin's away doing something else.
00:21:11.560 Okay?
00:21:12.040 So is Ms. Freeland.
00:21:13.780 And I'll have a video with her there up.
00:21:15.260 Shortly, thanks to my people at Rebel.
00:21:16.660 But I'll carry on.
00:21:17.600 $54 million arrive, Ken.
00:21:21.520 We're going to cut the half billion dollars for the WE organization.
00:21:24.560 We said they should never have given wage subsidies
00:21:27.060 to wealthy corporations that were capable of paying out bonuses
00:21:30.500 and dividends to their executives.
00:21:32.680 That's an easy question to answer.
00:21:34.220 In fact, $200 billion of the $500 billion in new debt in the last two years
00:21:37.460 had nothing to do with COVID at all.
00:21:40.160 And inflation was already spiraling out of control
00:21:42.520 well before the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
00:21:45.620 So they should stop blaming everyone else
00:21:47.680 and tell us how they're going to reverse the inflation that they caused.
00:21:51.620 The Honourable Government House Leader.
00:21:54.660 Mr. Speaker, the Leader of the Opposition is stating that inflation is a problem
00:22:02.860 that is only faced by Canadians.
00:22:04.840 He is presuming that Canadians are not watching what's happening in the rest of the world.
00:22:09.160 And I wonder, Mr. Speaker, right now, that he has an opportunity
00:22:14.680 and they reverse the decision that they made on C-30 to provide support for Canadians.
00:22:19.780 They have another opportunity to reverse their position
00:22:22.800 to make sure that low-income renters have an opportunity
00:22:25.860 to get the money they need in these difficult global times.
00:22:29.180 They have an opportunity to make sure that those that need dental care get it.
00:22:32.640 Will they reverse their position and support us in these measures?
00:22:34.840 The Honourable Opposition, the Leader of the Opposition.
00:22:40.260 It is true that dumb governments that ran massive deficits all around the world
00:22:45.740 and printed money to pay for it all have inflation problems.
00:22:48.820 Countries like Switzerland that had low or no deficits have low or no inflation.
00:22:55.380 This was a choice.
00:22:57.260 This government decided to spend a half trillion dollars
00:23:01.340 inflating the cost of living, more dollars chasing fewer goods,
00:23:05.180 leads always to higher prices.
00:23:06.900 And now we have 40-year highs in inflation.
00:23:09.460 But how can we trust the very few people who caused this problem to fix it?
00:23:14.840 The Honourable Government House Leader.
00:23:18.220 Mr. Speaker, around the world, we're dealing with unprecedented times.
00:23:23.260 Climate change, a war that has happened in Ukraine.
00:23:26.720 We're dealing with global inflation, and that demands maturity and serious answers.
00:23:30.600 And I would say, Mr. Speaker, to the member opposite,
00:23:34.180 that in this time, we have an opportunity not to amplify anxiety,
00:23:38.240 not to make people more scared, but to provide them real solutions.
00:23:42.320 It's bad enough that they're not willing to support dental care.
00:23:45.560 I'm just asking, as the House Leader,
00:23:47.360 as somebody who's attempting to get that legislation and support for Canadians,
00:23:51.320 will they at least stop opposing it so that the parties that do support it can get it done?
00:23:55.480 The Honourable Leader of the Opposition.
00:23:58.340 So now he blames the war in Ukraine for inflation,
00:24:01.340 when less than 0.3% of Canada's trade is with Russia and Ukraine combined.
00:24:08.720 Furthermore, the very things that the Russians and the Ukrainians produce,
00:24:13.280 oil and agriculture, are abundant here at home,
00:24:17.500 if only the government would get out of the way and let our farmers and energy workers produce it.
00:24:21.380 If we can't do that, we've got bigger problems still.
00:24:24.560 It's time for them to actually take responsibility.
00:24:27.920 A half trillion dollars of inflationary deficits have made life more expensive
00:24:31.960 and have been bone-crushing for our consumers.
00:24:34.960 When will they reverse these inflationary policies?
00:24:37.120 The Honourable Government House Leader.
00:24:39.120 So, Mr. Speaker, they didn't support child care for those that needed it to help cut it in half.
00:24:47.080 That's some real bad timing, Mr. Holland.
00:24:50.160 At Pee-wee's Playhouse.
00:24:51.400 They didn't support raising taxes on those who are earning the most
00:24:55.700 so that we could give a break to those in the middle of class.
00:24:58.560 And now here we are again, Mr. Speaker, with dental care,
00:25:02.540 where there's many families who are struggling because of the challenges
00:25:05.440 that are happening across this globe.
00:25:07.160 Well, that's enough of that guy.
00:25:14.700 Jimmy, that's enough of that guy because every liberal has said the same thing.
00:25:18.640 Oh, we're supporting the middle class.
00:25:20.460 We're not raising taxes in the middle class.
00:25:22.120 Yet, come January, they're going to raise taxes on more fuel,
00:25:26.620 eating, and groceries, and every other little tidbit we enjoy,
00:25:30.440 i.e. tobacco, i.e. liquor, coffee we drink.
00:25:34.740 So they've increased the cost of living because of their inflation.
00:25:38.700 Yes, I get it.
00:25:39.400 It's a world phenomenon because of Russia.
00:25:41.620 It's not Russia's fault.
00:25:43.080 It's yours.
00:25:45.360 Okay?
00:25:46.140 The people that we put in charge to run the finances of this country,
00:25:50.140 to keep things running, you know, like roads, schools, infrastructure, right?
00:25:57.860 To keep things running, and yet we can have no money to do it.
00:26:01.080 But there's plenty of money to give to the war in Ukraine.
00:26:04.540 Plenty of money to give to the Arrive Can app manufacturers,
00:26:09.200 the five people that work at our GC Strategies,
00:26:11.800 plus the 75 subcontractors that have classified information.
00:26:17.200 Oh, for your benefit.
00:26:18.400 For safety, right?
00:26:20.480 Oh, my fucking Lord.
00:26:25.440 That's the truth to say.
00:26:26.460 Crack does not smoke itself.

00:26:50.800 I know a few months back I was trying to get a local's page up and running.
00:26:54.420 I don't use Patreon anymore, really.
00:26:57.060 I'm not really a fan of theirs, to be honest with you, too.
00:27:00.540 I'm trying to just branch out the podcast.
00:27:02.620 But please, in the meantime, subscribe to me on Twitter, Facebook, Rumble,
00:27:05.840 Instagram, YouTube, Getter, and Podbean while you're here.
00:27:08.400 If you can, too.
00:27:10.420 And carrying on, like I said, I've got another video up here with Ms. Freeland
00:27:12.980 discussing why they stood by the Emergency Measures Act.
00:27:19.020 Now, I've dealt with people that were for it and against it.
00:27:23.520 I've dealt with some fellow veterans I have talked with,
00:27:26.360 didn't appreciate the convoy.
00:27:28.220 Other veterans were all for it.
00:27:29.920 Other people were for it.
00:27:30.940 Other people were against it.
00:27:32.360 To make a long story short, it created a worldwide phenomenon.
00:27:36.500 You think about it.
00:27:38.680 I would say it was more of a phenomenon worldwide than the so-called inflation they keep talking about.
00:27:42.900 Because you and I both know it's more of a WEF thing and more of an elite trying to control what we do with our lives.
00:27:49.120 Okay?
00:27:50.000 And I, for one, I'm getting sick of it.
00:27:52.480 Okay?
00:27:52.640 I don't want to be told what to do with my money.
00:27:55.120 I don't want to be told what to buy.
00:27:56.340 I want to eat.
00:27:58.040 Okay?
00:27:58.860 Beef is good for you.
00:28:00.200 So is fish.
00:28:00.860 So is chicken.
00:28:01.500 So is pork.
00:28:02.080 And, of course, in moderation.
00:28:03.620 But the world's not going to die because of cow farts.
00:28:05.560 And the world's not going to die because of hamburger meat.
00:28:10.960 The world's not going to die because you want to put gasoline in your car or diesel in your truck or any kind of fuel to keep your home warm during the winter months.
00:28:18.960 The world's going to die because we're going to have buffoons calling the shots in Ottawa, Washington, D.C., London, Berlin, Paris, and Switzerland.
00:28:28.300 Okay?
00:28:29.900 Somebody's going to get itchy and press the wrong button.
00:28:32.180 Or someone's going to get itchy and piss off the wrong country.
00:28:34.820 Someone's going to get itchy and just piss somebody off and then whammo, what have you got?
00:28:39.860 You got some pissed off people.
00:28:42.440 Right?
00:28:42.580 So we're getting to a point right now where we can look at things for what they are and still carry on and soldier on like we should.
00:28:49.960 I, for one, intend to.
00:28:51.500 I don't want to cause a fight.
00:28:52.760 I don't want to cause any panic.
00:28:53.760 I don't want to cause any chaos.
00:28:54.840 But I am getting really, really sick and tired of so-called educated officials try to tell me how to live my life.
00:29:02.040 And I'm sure you out there in podcast land, interland land, and in real life as we see are getting tired of it too.
00:29:11.820 Why should I give 100% of my effort to something when that something's barely going to fucking scrape enough to give me 20?
00:29:19.620 Okay?
00:29:20.840 Why should I do that?
00:29:22.120 Why should you do that?
00:29:24.080 Why should you?
00:29:25.420 Right?
00:29:26.020 Because it's your civic duty?
00:29:27.940 Oh.
00:29:29.480 Because you want to?
00:29:30.560 There's a lot of people out there that agree with this government 100%.
00:29:32.840 100%.
00:29:33.380 And, you know, they have every right to.
00:29:35.460 But when I look at the leadership in this country, they have ignored the basic principles of our democracy.
00:29:39.880 And they keep talking about democracy.
00:29:41.840 They keep talking about the principles of freedom.
00:29:44.360 And yet, what kind of freedom have they promoted for you and I?
00:29:47.600 It doesn't matter if they live in Ontario or Quebec or New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, PEI, here in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, BC, Nunavut, Northwest Territories, Yukon.
00:29:58.440 It doesn't matter.
00:29:59.200 What are they promoting?
00:30:02.600 They're instilling more fear.
00:30:04.020 You heard that Mike Harlan crowned, that Mark Harlan clown, talk about, oh, we can't promote fear.
00:30:10.160 And yet, your government has promoted it 24-7 with misinformation, disinformation.
00:30:15.780 Now, with the gun freeze they're talking about, oh, we're going to stop crime.
00:30:20.220 How?
00:30:21.260 What have they done to stop crime since their initial OIC back in April of 2020 or May of 2020?
00:30:27.160 What have they done?
00:30:28.560 More legal guns have crossed the border.
00:30:30.940 More people have been caught with said illegal guns.
00:30:33.300 More people have committed heinous crimes with legal guns.
00:30:36.520 And yet, flap on the wrist, oh, we understand your strife.
00:30:39.740 We understand your origins.
00:30:41.240 They're there.
00:30:41.720 You're marginalized.
00:30:42.760 Off you go.
00:30:43.380 Well, people like me and my friends that I like to go out and shoot, we're strictly monitored for the sake of safety.
00:30:51.920 They want to buy back something they never bought in the first place.
00:30:56.540 No.
00:30:57.960 I'm not going to do it.
00:30:59.700 And to my gun owner friends out there, neither should you.
00:31:03.280 Right?
00:31:04.380 That's the same thing about filing taxes next April.
00:31:07.300 Should I do it?
00:31:08.480 Oh, but, but, but roads.
00:31:10.020 Oh, but schools.
00:31:12.060 Roads.
00:31:13.380 Stay updated.
00:31:14.540 And follow Krusty Canuck on Facebook, Twitter, Gap, Telegram, YouTube, and Podbean.
00:31:21.120 Subscribe today and donate at KrustyCanuck.ca.
00:31:28.040 And we welcome back to the podcast, ladies and gentlemen, your host, Krusty Canuck.
00:31:31.160 And like I say, if you like and hear what you see, please click like, subscribe, and share this content all around your social media platforms.
00:31:37.920 Tell your friends, tell their friends, and so on, and so on, and so on.
00:31:41.140 You know how it goes.
00:31:42.140 Word of mouth, probably the best way, too.
00:31:44.440 Like I mentioned earlier in regards to seeing the UBI thing on a lot of Facebook feeds there, too.
00:31:50.260 And I'm seeing more and more socialist pages come up into the news feed, into the mix, right?
00:31:56.380 Because you know how the social media likes to manipulate people.
00:31:58.340 There's constantly young girls, and they're trying to validate themselves by wearing short shorts and trying to find the perfect fella when really just selling themselves short for the sake of sex.
00:32:07.160 And there's men that do it, too.
00:32:08.340 So don't get me wrong.
00:32:09.040 I'm not trying to be sexist, ladies.
00:32:10.180 I'm just trying to make a point, okay?
00:32:12.060 And we're seeing more and more of this garbage in our feeds.
00:32:14.420 Now, you as a viewer have the responsibility to either watch it and read it and go, oh, informative, or turn the page and say, fuck that, right?
00:32:23.500 We've got to see more and more of that, especially when it comes to this UBI BS and this socialism garbage, okay?
00:32:30.480 Now, if there's 10 people lost in the woods, socialism could work.
00:32:34.620 Why?
00:32:34.880 Because you all got to work together to survive, okay?
00:32:38.520 And socialism is basically, you know...
00:32:42.060 The fundamental of survival, when you have to survive in a situation.
00:32:45.880 But dating their lives, what you and I have, what this country has?
00:32:48.460 No!
00:32:50.480 No?
00:32:51.060 Government money is going to pay this.
00:32:52.420 Government money is going to pay that.
00:32:53.780 It's not government money.
00:32:54.720 It's taxpayers' money, okay?
00:32:57.380 But the people we put in charge of doing that are not doing a great job.
00:33:01.900 They're not.
00:33:03.700 So things are starting to die inside.
00:33:05.560 Things are starting to wither inside, too.
00:33:07.080 And now the clowns want to promote triple tax again.
00:33:10.780 More tax on the pumps, food, home heating, right?
00:33:15.620 Well, they live off the fatherlands in their Laurentian areas or their garden homes.
00:33:19.800 They're bought and paid for by you, the Canadian taxpayer.
00:33:23.220 Not government money.
00:33:24.840 Canadian citizens' money.
00:33:26.360 Taxes.
00:33:26.960 Taxes.
00:33:27.960 So I'm going to say this.
00:33:30.520 Don't file in April.
00:33:33.500 Don't file.
00:33:35.100 Don't file for Trudy.
00:33:38.520 Okay?
00:33:39.520 That's don't file, the word, number four, Trudy, as in Trudeau.
00:33:45.420 There, I said it.
00:33:46.740 There, I said it.
00:33:47.640 I said it.
00:33:48.260 Yes.
00:33:49.140 I said it, ladies and gentlemen.
00:33:50.780 Yes.
00:33:51.700 Yes.
00:33:52.040 Don't file for Trudy.
00:33:55.860 Because why should I pay $1,600 a month and then turn around and have to revalidate and be re-evaluated
00:34:02.180 because some shithead in Winnipeg or in Ottawa or Calgary can't do the bloody math?
00:34:10.820 I highly suggest you do the same, ladies and gentlemen.
00:34:12.740 Regardless if you owe or not, take a stand.
00:34:15.700 Don't file.
00:34:19.140 Make a point.
00:34:21.300 I'm not trying to incite violence.
00:34:23.320 I'm not trying to incite mischief.
00:34:25.280 I'm saying this because it's my freedom to say it.
00:34:29.500 It's not an illegal thing to say this.
00:34:31.880 I'm not yelling fire in a theater.
00:34:34.500 I'm not saying go kick your neighbor's dog and then kick your neighbor's kid.
00:34:39.180 I'm just saying don't file.
00:34:41.700 Do the math, folks.
00:34:43.520 Don't file for Trudy.
00:34:45.660 Don't give that son of a bitch the satisfaction.
00:34:49.640 Anyway, I got a video queued up here.
00:34:52.160 Basically what Ms. Freeland was trying to say or justify in regards to the Emergency Measures Act.
00:35:00.720 Now, I'll let you decide, my wonderful viewers.
00:35:04.120 I really have no time of the day for her because I find her to be just a phony, how do you say, bitch.
00:35:11.320 I'm not impressed with a lot of her politics.
00:35:13.740 I'm not impressed with anything she has to say in regards to Canadian democracy or Canadian identity.
00:35:20.360 She's basically a pawn in the game, a pawn.
00:35:25.260 She's either being paid a lot of money to do what she's told to do or she doesn't really care.
00:35:30.480 I don't find her to be that informative when it comes to our policies as Canadians.
00:35:37.400 You know, and it's not because she's a female.
00:35:40.120 It's because she's incompetent.
00:35:42.300 But I'll let you, my fine people out there, listen.
00:35:46.000 And you decide exactly what she is capable of doing.
00:35:49.060 And just her condescending tone.
00:35:51.020 So, really listen to what she has to say about that.
00:35:54.840 Just really, really listen to what she has to say.
00:35:57.860 Because I find her disgusting.
00:36:00.720 I'm just, I'm not really impressed with anything she has done.
00:36:04.040 I'm not impressed with her boss.
00:36:05.320 Will you hear me ramble on about that enough?
00:36:07.560 I'm just not, just not, just not happy with her.
00:36:11.860 Not happy with her at all.
00:36:14.260 I don't know if I get these pages sorted out.
00:36:16.320 But, for some reason, it won't let me do this here.
00:36:21.400 There we go.
00:36:22.440 There we are.
00:36:23.240 Perfect.
00:36:24.480 Yeah.
00:36:25.820 That's right.
00:36:26.780 So, I'll just cue this up.
00:36:29.500 And then you, my wonderful audience, you can decide exactly what she is trying to tell us.
00:36:36.060 In her best common terms, right?
00:36:38.480 Because she really, really cares.
00:36:40.580 Yeah.
00:36:40.780 She really promotes the fact that she cares.
00:36:42.980 And I don't buy anything she has to say.
00:36:45.320 I've already said that, but you might find people.
00:36:49.500 Listen to what her comments are.
00:36:51.960 And a special thank you to the Rebel News for putting this clip together and sharing it with the masses as we speak.
00:36:58.240 So, I'll just shut up now and carry on.
00:37:01.400 That we acted.
00:37:03.760 That we understood the magnitude of the challenge.
00:37:09.600 And we rose to that challenge.
00:37:12.400 That should be reassuring to Canada's customers and to people investing in Canada.
00:37:19.360 So, I am grateful for the question.
00:37:24.160 Canada's customers.
00:37:25.980 So, you're worried about investing in Canada.
00:37:28.240 You're worried about Canada's customers.
00:37:29.560 And yet you and your party shut down Canadian oil.
00:37:34.720 And your boss, your little boyfriend, wants to stick it to the farmers.
00:37:42.500 Hmm.
00:37:43.460 Interesting.
00:37:44.900 Because I was really worried.
00:37:48.280 I was worried about precisely the issue, Greg, that you've touched on.
00:37:55.460 I was worried about the losses that Canada was facing every day.
00:38:00.800 But even more, I was worried about the potential damage those blockades could do to Canada's reputation as a reliable trading partner, as a reliable place to invest.
00:38:16.540 And frankly, I was worried about the way that had the blockades not been stopped, they could have contributed to the arguments of protectionists south of our border.
00:38:31.940 And that is one of the reasons that, as finance minister, I was firmly of the view that the government needed to act, that it was a national security threat to Canada, a threat to the economic lifeblood of our country for that to go on.
00:38:59.400 And I do think the fact that we acted decisively, that our action worked, shows to our trading partners that you can rely on Canada.
00:39:15.360 Now, we're not a perfect country.
00:39:18.080 We're a pretty amazing country, but we're not perfect.
00:39:20.240 You got that right, Toots.
00:39:21.200 I think what our government showed then, and it was a serious, serious, serious decision.
00:39:26.520 But what we showed then is when we understood the seriousness of the challenge, and we took the strongest possible action to end it.
00:39:40.640 I think the fact that you got scared, Toots, you and your bosses got scared.
00:39:48.980 That's what happened.
00:39:50.060 That's the action you took.
00:39:51.440 That is the action you took against Canadians by raiding their bank accounts, freezing them, labeling people as terrorists.
00:39:58.340 That's the action your party took, and you're fucking responsible for it.
00:40:03.200 You know it.
00:40:05.240 So talking to the media like that, talking down to people, ain't fucking working.
00:40:10.400 I'm not buying your bullshit.
00:40:13.000 Neither should you.

00:40:45.960 Send me a question.
00:40:46.980 Let me know what's on your mind and how you really think about this.
00:40:50.380 Okay?
00:40:51.120 A lot of canes are getting angry and getting pissed off for very good reasons.
00:40:55.300 Right?
00:40:56.180 Mental health crisis is going up through the roof.
00:40:58.500 Why?
00:40:59.040 Because people were denied access to their jobs.
00:41:01.000 People were denied access to certain things, like seeing family and friends.
00:41:05.360 Everybody was saying, oh, you're going to kill grandma if you do this.
00:41:07.340 Oh, get this.
00:41:07.920 Get that.
00:41:08.380 Make sure you wear this.
00:41:09.280 Make sure you wear that.
00:41:10.460 Now, there's speculation in the media, too, about reinstating the whole mask mandate again, too.
00:41:14.800 Why?
00:41:16.980 Right?
00:41:17.600 Well, these clowns travel around the globe as we see it, as we speak, too.
00:41:21.360 They tell us what to do, what we can do, when to do it, how to do it, why we should do it.
00:41:26.500 For safety.
00:41:28.540 Roads, right?
00:41:30.460 No.
00:41:31.600 We should do it for the sake of keeping things safe and calm and cool and collected, right?
00:41:37.360 No.
00:41:37.660 No.
00:41:37.800 So, I, for one, am going to say no to any more mandates.
00:41:40.860 What say you?
00:41:42.020 Once again, ladies and gentlemen, if you like to hear what you see, please click like and subscribe to the podcast.
00:41:46.920 You can find me on YouTube, Podbean, all that good stuff.
00:41:50.440 And I'll put the banner up here again for you, too.
00:41:53.620 You can find me on these lovely social media platforms, Twitter, Facebook, Rumble, Instagram, YouTube, Getter, and Podbean, too.
00:42:02.780 I'm trying to sort my Instagram out.
00:42:04.520 And like I said, I'm trying to get my Locals page up and running, as well.
00:42:07.560 That guy, Dave Rubin, out of the States.
00:42:09.440 Great broadcaster.
00:42:10.840 All-around great guy.
00:42:12.020 I love his show.
00:42:13.520 I highly recommend you watch the Dave Rubin show there, too.
00:42:17.120 He's a lefty that turned, how do you say, awakened, you know?
00:42:22.400 I guess he's more libertarian, if anything, too.
00:42:24.640 Yours truly is a bit more libertarian than conservative.
00:42:27.540 A little more liberal than conservative.
00:42:29.280 But I need to say, when it comes to politics, I want people to have freedom, and I want people to choose and think for themselves, you know, in a timely fashion.
00:42:38.520 A safe one at that.
00:42:39.760 A real safe one.
00:42:41.040 A safe one where you're not hurting people and taking their stuff.
00:42:43.620 Or hurting people and taking their stuff.
00:42:46.400 That kind of safety.
00:42:47.900 Not the safety that's being projected by our dear leaders.
00:42:52.120 And it brings me to a question, too.
00:42:53.820 Why is there Chinese police stations operating in Canada?
00:42:56.480 You know, maybe I should have added that to the podcast there today.
00:43:00.060 Maybe I'll do that for Tuesday.
00:43:01.760 But that's something that came out from Rebel Media, too.
00:43:04.100 That they've got some police stations, apparently.
00:43:06.580 Some Chinese police stations operating in Canada.
00:43:09.560 So, I'll leave that for you, my wonderful audience, to research on your own.
00:43:13.820 And I might formulate an episode for that on Tuesday.
00:43:17.640 For your viewing pleasure, too.
00:43:18.920 So, ladies and gentlemen, without further ado, this has been another episode of the Crest Connect Podcast.
00:43:23.940 Episode 189.
00:43:26.120 Wasted money for your safety.
00:43:28.440 The Rive Can app, inflation, and the gun freeze, too.
00:43:31.840 More of these clowns putting freezes on guns because they want to save us from bad guys when they're the effing bad guys.
00:43:38.560 All I can say is this, ladies and gentlemen.
00:43:40.180 Keep our head above water.
00:43:41.100 Do what we can to help each other out in these trying times.
00:43:43.620 I know it's been tough, and I'm a little angrier today because of some of the buffoonery I've seen on the news in regards to the Emergency Measures Act.
00:43:49.820 The gun debacle, of course, the Rive Can app.
00:43:52.300 A lot of money wasted on one application in the name of control, not in the name of safety.
00:43:57.480 But in the meantime, ladies and gentlemen, do what you can to help each other out in these trying times.
00:44:00.280 And maybe give a little of your extra time, a little effort to people if you can.
00:44:06.820 We're at that part of the year where there might be some snow falling in parts of this country.
00:44:10.840 So don't hesitate to help somebody else with some snow removal.
00:44:14.420 Maybe a few extra bucks for groceries to help someone out.
00:44:17.660 And just do what you can to be good to people.
00:44:19.780 That's all I can say right now.
00:44:21.040 But I will put another episode this coming Tuesday.
00:44:24.760 And I hope to God it's a good episode, needless to say.
00:44:30.240 But like I always said, humanity and merit wins the day.
00:44:34.840 Take care, ladies and gentlemen.
00:44:35.680 And I'll see you next time.
00:44:37.060 Bye for now.
00:44:41.340 Hit it, sweetheart.
00:44:43.560 Because I am hard, you will not like me.
00:44:46.080 Yes, sir.
00:44:49.780 There is no racial bigotry here.
00:44:54.600 There you are always going to work.
00:44:56.480 This has been another episode of the Krusty Canuck podcast.
00:45:02.640 Stay sane.
00:45:03.560 And thank you for listening.
00:45:05.120 From Western Canada.
00:45:06.460 This is the Krusty Canuck podcast.
00:45:12.260 Well, smack my ass and call me Judy.
00:45:15.060 Thank you.
00:45:20.540 Let's do it.
00:45:21.840 Bye.

00:45:36.340 Bye.
00:45:36.380 Bye.
00:45:37.020 Bye.
