Transcript

00:00:00.480 A good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. It's a beautiful 1st of July 2023.
00:00:05.740 Happy Canada Day all to my fellow Canadians. Or is it happy carbon tax today?
00:00:10.460 Or is it up yours, Canada, with love from our Liberal Party?
00:00:14.560 All that and more coming to the podcast. Please stick around.
00:00:18.520 Listener and view discretion is advised because I do like to drop the odd F-bomb and I smoke cigarettes.
00:00:23.500 So please stick around. Cheers.
00:00:25.340 Hit it, sweetheart.
00:00:31.080 Because I am hard, you will not like me.
00:00:34.040 Yes, sir.
00:00:37.520 There is no racial bigotry here.
00:00:42.380 Here you are all.
00:00:44.240 From Western Canada, this is the Krusty Canuck podcast.
00:00:51.060 A Canadian veteran's point of view.
00:00:53.080 On political, social, economic issues, and life.
00:00:57.260 Here's Krusty.
00:00:59.760 That's right, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the episode 213 of the Krusty Canuck podcast.
00:01:04.840 And this podcast is brought to you in part by BattleFit Bodywear.
00:01:09.040 That's right. Be battle fit. Be battle ready.
00:01:11.540 Be limitless. Be battle fit. BattleFit Bodywear.
00:01:13.660 Advert will come later.
00:01:15.720 That's right. I'm your host, Krusty Canuck, and this beautiful 1st of July.
00:01:18.280 Happy Canada Day all.
00:01:19.620 One big round of applause for all my fellow Canadians out there.
00:01:22.000 That's right. My Numblers, my YouTubers, my Facebookers, and all my Podbeaners that are actually subscribed to my show.
00:01:29.560 So thank you once again.
00:01:30.800 Happy Canada Day, ladies and gentlemen.
00:01:32.780 And as the title card said, yes, happy Carbon Tax 2 Day.
00:01:37.140 That's right.
00:01:37.740 Today, of all days of this wonderful year in this wonderful country, carbon tax has gone up.
00:01:44.320 That means you pay more at the pumps, you pay more for home heating or cooling, right, and more for groceries.
00:01:50.840 So basically, the cost of living has gone up an average of 13 to 16 cents Canada-wide, ladies and gentlemen.
00:01:56.980 Now, here in the province of Alberta, okay, our province, our powers that be in our province have said no to it.
00:02:03.060 So they're not putting the provincial sales tax part on gasoline, which is good, which will save us, Albertans, roughly 13 cents or more, pending where you fill up.
00:02:13.180 Now, I'll have some videos here from the Canadian Taxpayers Federation.
00:02:15.680 Chris Sims from Alberta and Mr. Tetrazzino is on the East Coast reporting in regards to the tax issue when it comes to carbon tax in this country.
00:02:26.000 Now, we see a lot of hype all over the world in regards to fossil fuels being bad and gasoline and oil being terrible.
00:02:32.640 And what gets me is that you have a generation of people, and not so much a whole generation of people, but you have people and you have Gen Xers like myself and some boomers out there that are advocating the kind of behavior to stop fossil fuels.
00:02:48.280 Stop them.
00:02:49.260 We have to stop oil because of climate emergency.
00:02:51.600 We have to stop it because, yes, climate emergency.
00:02:54.800 No, there's no fucking emergency, ladies and gentlemen.
00:02:56.980 Now, I would agree that the weather is changing, and there might be some things that we can do to stop maybe an onslaught or two of a terrible tornado or a terrible hurricane, which I highly doubt because I don't think we have the ability to control weather.
00:03:12.360 We don't.
00:03:13.280 I don't think we personally have it in our power, regardless of what technology is out there or anything behind closed doors.
00:03:19.600 I don't know, but nobody ever said that taxing people into prosperity will stop any kind of onslaught.
00:03:31.100 Now, you look at the tax rates of the average Canadian.
00:03:33.580 The average Canadian is making anywhere from $49,000 to maybe $52,000 a year.
00:03:37.860 Canadian, that is.
00:03:39.180 Now, look how much taxes have gone up in the past eight years under the Liberal Party of Canada.
00:03:44.720 Like I said in the title card, with love from the Liberal Party of Canada, because they think they're trying to save the world.
00:03:50.140 They think they're saving us from something devastating.
00:03:53.920 Like what?
00:03:56.200 The poorhouse?
00:03:58.220 Economic collapse?
00:04:00.940 Animosity in the streets?
00:04:03.660 I would think that based on their actions lately, they're advocating that kind of behavior.
00:04:08.820 Now that they have risen from Parliament and they're off for the summer, another six to nine week holiday that they usually like to take, you know, twice a year.
00:04:18.400 Okay.
00:04:19.000 And I really don't care if any of these parliamentarians are watching this right now who might agree with me or disagree with me.
00:04:24.900 I highly suggest you fuckers get back to work.
00:04:28.120 Okay.
00:04:28.600 Because there's a lot of Canadians I know personally, and especially yours truly, that can't really afford to take a week off or two weeks off on holiday because of this inflationary efforts.
00:04:41.380 Because of these inflationary efforts.
00:04:43.320 I can't physically and financially afford to take my wife on a nice trip someplace.
00:04:49.440 I cannot physically and financially afford to go to see my family on the other side of the country.
00:04:55.740 Okay.
00:04:59.100 And while people are sitting there bitching and moaning because of hate speech and certain words online and because of big tech stepping in and saying, okay, we're going to take our product and go elsewhere because the government wants to promote bills C11, 18, and 36, respectively, in the name of protecting.
00:05:17.740 Okay.
00:05:18.400 We're getting screwed there too.
00:05:20.040 So you, my wonderful audience, you can't come online and see what you want to see, and you can't go fill your car up or your truck up and take your kids or take your wife or take your loved one to any kind of amusement park or anything at all because of this inflationary BS.
00:05:35.820 And yet our politicians think they're doing us a favor by saving the world at the expense of the Canadian taxpayer.
00:05:41.900 Interesting concept.
00:05:42.700 Now, if you follow me on Twitter, please do if you want to follow me on Twitter.
00:05:46.500 My handle is very simple, Krusty Canuck, right?
00:05:48.960 Or just follow my name.
00:05:49.820 Just look for the logo there on your Twitter feed and just follow along if you want to.
00:05:53.440 And weigh in on some of the comments too.
00:05:54.900 I've had some lengthy debates with pro-liberal supporters in this country in regards to world diplomacy.
00:06:00.960 And my worldview is skewed because I don't agree with their status quo.
00:06:06.060 Their status quo consists primarily of having you bend over and taking it up the chuff again.
00:06:10.640 So, that's their worldview, all in the name of progress and safety.
00:06:15.600 They wouldn't do safety to him in the ass, ladies and gentlemen.
00:06:18.820 Not really.
00:06:19.740 And they wouldn't do safety if their mothers who wiped their butts as children gave it to them in a bowl with a straw.
00:06:27.380 Stay updated and follow Krusty Canuck on Facebook, Twitter, Gap, Telegram, YouTube, and Podbean.

00:06:40.640 And we're back at the Krusty Podcast, ladies and gentlemen.
00:06:44.200 I'm your host, Krusty Canuck.
00:06:45.140 And thank you once again for the thumbs up of my last video, my Tuesday rants there, ladies and gentlemen.
00:06:50.260 So, a round of applause for you all there.
00:06:52.340 You guys are awesome.
00:06:53.740 I really, really appreciate what you guys are doing.
00:06:56.380 And I really appreciate the fan base I am receiving.
00:06:58.980 It's getting bigger.
00:06:59.980 It's getting bigger.
00:07:00.500 But because it's people like you that make it happen, ladies and gentlemen.
00:07:03.680 So, once again, thank you very much for the positive feedback.
00:07:07.680 And if you get a chance, check out The Fine Couple at Northern Perspective.
00:07:11.120 They have a wonderful channel on YouTube.
00:07:12.980 Give them a shout.
00:07:13.940 Watch their videos.
00:07:14.920 They're very, very articulate.
00:07:16.560 And they're formative.
00:07:17.460 They're extremely conservative.
00:07:19.120 But they want freedom just like you and I do.
00:07:21.680 They want the freedom just to go about their business and keep big government out of our lives.
00:07:27.520 Right?
00:07:28.000 Because there's a lot of people out there that want the government to look after things for them.
00:07:32.300 They want the government to have enough social programs out there to look after everybody.
00:07:36.240 And there's a big, wonderful utopia, which is bullshit.
00:07:40.040 Now, I'm all for social programs when it comes to helping people that really, really need a hand.
00:07:44.540 But in order to keep these programs open, to keep them prosperous, to help the less fortunate in this country,
00:07:50.420 you have to have a private sector that allows people to work, to make some money, to tuck some away, and to pay a fair tax rate.
00:07:58.600 Okay?
00:07:58.900 Now, the taxes we have now are due because of the Liberal Party's dishonest spending pattern.
00:08:06.320 Okay?
00:08:07.340 I'm all for helping the little guy when the little guy needs a hand.
00:08:09.940 But I've also seen powers that be spend ridiculous amounts of money on helping the less fortunate over here,
00:08:15.940 less fortunate over there, rather than in here.
00:08:18.620 Okay?
00:08:19.380 So, I'm not seeing any real progress other than virtue totaling and finger wagging.
00:08:25.220 Okay?
00:08:26.220 And what annoys me the most, too, is that on my Twitter feed, I am seeing so many people worry about Pierre Polyev's look recently.
00:08:35.320 I guess he took off his glasses and did some press conferences without his glasses, right?
00:08:40.620 And I'm thinking, okay, here's a man who's at his majesty's opposition in our Canadian Parliament,
00:08:46.120 and he's debating cold, hard facts.
00:08:48.560 Well, the Liberal side of the aisle spent more time worrying about how he looks.
00:08:54.880 Well, he's not wearing his glasses.
00:08:56.320 Oh, look at what he's trying to do.
00:08:58.000 Is that what you lefties worry about all the time?
00:08:59.640 The appearance of things?
00:09:01.000 Yet you're supposed to be the more tolerant side of the spectrum.
00:09:03.840 You're supposed to be the more open and diverse and inclusive and tolerant.
00:09:08.840 And yet you can't even handle how a guy looks on a day-to-day basis.
00:09:14.600 So, it's like competing with fucking high school kids again.
00:09:18.140 Not that I'm just some teenagers that are out there trying to make a difference in today's world.
00:09:22.260 But I'm not seeing any real progress from these wankers.
00:09:27.500 You know what I mean?
00:09:28.380 I'm not.
00:09:29.180 Not at all.
00:09:29.920 I just, you know, shake my effing head and go,
00:09:33.180 Oi, what's going on here?
00:09:35.120 Anyway, again, once again, ladies and gentlemen, if you'd like to hear what you see,
00:09:37.060 please click like and subscribe.

00:10:03.840 And if you'd like to purchase something from my store,
00:10:07.060 there's a link in the description, Customized Girl, forward slash S, forward slash Krusty Canuck.
00:10:11.560 I have hats, I have swimsuits, I have shorts, T-shirts, and other paraphernalia with a Krusty Canuck logo on it too.
00:10:18.380 So, please donate or actually buy some merch and wear the Krusty Canuck stuff proudly.
00:10:24.420 So, once again, happy candidate.
00:10:25.700 And there to my fellow Canadians, I'm wearing my flag proudly too.
00:10:28.720 I'll be going with my wife a bit later to take part in the Canada Day celebrations at our local base here.
00:10:34.500 Have some burgers, maybe a couple of beers, watch some fireworks, hang out with some friends,
00:10:38.560 and then we'll just kind of carry on as per.
00:10:42.680 So, like I say, anyway, carrying on with this whole episode, 213.
00:10:47.740 Happy Canada Day, or happy carbon tax day too, or up yours, Canada, with love from the local party.
00:10:53.480 Now, you've heard me ramble on about Justin Trudeau and Krusty Freeland and the Agmeet Singh and all this other garbage.
00:11:00.660 And people forget that these politicians are still people, okay?
00:11:06.040 You know, yes, yes, there's still people and they deserve respect.
00:11:12.700 Use that term loosely.
00:11:14.780 But what I'm noticing on the left side of the spectrum is that everyone is so worried about hate speech and hateful words.
00:11:23.520 We have to crack down on these things.
00:11:26.260 For what?
00:11:27.180 I'd like to remind you, ladies and gentlemen, that comfort is not a right, okay?
00:11:35.260 Now, if you're reading something and you post something, you write a paragraph or you write an essay or write a story,
00:11:41.260 it doesn't matter what conglomerate you work with, and someone gives you a rebuttal, well, can you take it?
00:11:46.040 But I'm also hearing a lot of bleeding hearts out there in regards to hateful words and you're spreading violence and all this hate and division.
00:11:55.800 And yet you forget what side has created a lot of division in the past 10 years, especially the past eight years here in Canada.
00:12:03.200 Our beloved Prime Minister took it upon himself to call people racist and misogynist and deny the science and all conspiracy theorists and all tinfoil hat wearing, you know, morons, basically.
00:12:17.940 And yet when the convoy went to Ottawa to make a difference, people don't know what to think.
00:12:23.400 So I'd like to remind the libtards out there, and I will call them libtards because they're not really, they're not really progressing fast enough.
00:12:30.520 They're a little too slow for my liking.
00:12:32.760 Honk honk does not mean, you know what?
00:12:36.660 Hail to the little man with a mustache.
00:12:39.360 Okay.
00:12:41.020 The people at Diagelon are not, they're not bad people.
00:12:46.520 It's military humor at its finest.
00:12:48.560 Okay.
00:12:49.560 And they're not going to overthrow their government and split North America into their projected little conservative paradise.
00:12:56.160 Okay.
00:12:56.680 Nobody that I know personally wants to split this country up into some kind of paradise.
00:13:01.340 The majority of people that I have talked to, interacted with, and on my Twitter feed, on Facebook, and other social media platforms, they want an end to big government.
00:13:13.040 They want to keep their money.
00:13:15.380 They want to come home from a hard day, turn on the lights, cook some supper for their family or their friends or their loved ones, and just carry on about their lives.
00:13:26.660 Basic liberty, ladies and gentlemen.
00:13:29.340 That's what it is.
00:13:31.520 I'll be right back after this message and message from my sponsor.
00:13:34.480 Cheers.

00:14:55.940 Check out my bio and what I do and what I believe in, all that good stuff, ladies and gentlemen.
00:15:02.220 Anyway, carrying on with episode 213.
00:15:05.420 Yes, 213.
00:15:07.060 Yes.
00:15:07.400 Happy Canada Day or happy carbon tax today or up yours Canada with love from the Liberal Party.
00:15:13.280 Now, I'm saying it's more of an up yours issue from our government because a lot of these individuals got in based on a wing and a prayer and a promise of a kiss and a reach around.
00:15:20.960 And we know better, right?
00:15:23.060 Now, we've had our reach around, so we've had our fun over here and over there without the actual lubrication or without permission.
00:15:30.360 And I tell you, I'm sore.
00:15:34.000 I am sore with all the paying out that I've had to do.
00:15:39.480 Okay, this week alone, because of my work schedule, I've had to fill up my truck at least twice.
00:15:43.860 Back and forth, back and forth, going in earlier, trying to go above and beyond for my boss, which is a great guy.
00:15:49.320 You know, him and his whole family.
00:15:50.540 I've done great things for the employees at his place.
00:15:54.840 And I'm very, very grateful that I have a job with those individuals.
00:15:58.280 But I'm not grateful for the fact that I got to pay more at the pumps.
00:16:00.860 And I'm not grateful for the fact that CRA, Canada Revenue Agency, my American friends, they're just like the IRS.
00:16:07.160 Greedy little bastards, they are, right?
00:16:09.860 And I'm not grateful for that at all, too.
00:16:12.620 Now, I've had some interesting debates with some people on the Twitter feed in regards to military service in this country.
00:16:20.240 Now, I did 20 years.
00:16:22.140 I'm a regular infantry soldier.
00:16:24.120 I saw my share of stuff in 2003 and my experiences in 2007.
00:16:30.740 And I'll maybe compile some stories or something like that later on.
00:16:33.940 But I saw my share of chaos, ladies and gentlemen.
00:16:36.960 And regardless of how tiny our military was, there was a camaraderie and a brotherhood there that will live in infamy, as far as I'm concerned.
00:16:46.160 And what annoys me the most is that you have some people weigh in saying, well, my father served here and my great uncle served here and my grandfather served here.
00:16:53.760 And you want to know something?
00:16:54.820 That's great.
00:16:56.120 That's fantastic because those men and women rolled up their sleeves and they took on the Nazi and the Japanese onslaught during that time.
00:17:04.020 But what about the men and women that served during the Balkans conflicts back in the 90s?
00:17:16.520 How about those men and women that were told to shut up about certain things?
00:17:21.920 Those men and women that were told not to say anything about this firefight or this sniper or this guy or that guy or this situation or that situation?
00:17:29.420 What about that?
00:17:30.100 Where did our history all of a sudden turn and Canadian citizens forgot about the sacrifice that men and women made during peace support and peacekeeping operations?
00:17:41.620 Right?
00:17:42.160 When did these politicians decide that, well, we're not a real military because we're just peacekeepers.
00:17:47.040 So we really don't need this and we don't need that.
00:17:49.440 Well, guess again.
00:17:51.380 Because in order to keep the peace, you have to understand how a war works.
00:17:54.500 You have to understand what happens.
00:17:56.420 You have to understand the pros and cons of a battle so it doesn't happen again.
00:18:01.360 So therefore, you can send in the peacekeepers and send in the peacemakers if need be.
00:18:06.380 Okay?
00:18:07.340 Now, here's an example.
00:18:09.620 To some of my civilian friends that don't understand actual military concept, let me use this as an analogy.
00:18:15.260 Say you got a referee.
00:18:16.560 And in order for a referee to become an NHL referee, he or she has to train this way.
00:18:23.940 They have to work their way up.
00:18:25.380 Now, some of them were hockey players before.
00:18:27.600 Some of them weren't.
00:18:28.800 Okay?
00:18:29.340 But they have to understand how the game works.
00:18:33.080 They have to understand the rules and regulations before they go to the next level.
00:18:38.440 They have to be quick on their feet.
00:18:39.740 They have to call a play.
00:18:41.140 They have to call a penalty when it's necessary.
00:18:42.660 Call offside when it's necessary.
00:18:44.300 Award the goal properly when it's done.
00:18:46.580 And in order to maintain that level of entertainment to keep the game going, the referee has to know what he or she is doing.
00:18:56.720 Okay?
00:18:57.160 Now, you take the peacekeeping concept.
00:19:00.280 It's the same thing.
00:19:01.240 You have to know how this works.
00:19:02.720 You have to know how that works.
00:19:03.840 You have to prepare for a battle in case it happens.
00:19:07.640 Just like a referee has to prepare for a fight in case it happens.
00:19:10.440 Or prepare for an unfair call in case it happens.
00:19:13.460 To know the game.
00:19:14.240 Canadian soldiers know the game.
00:19:17.320 We've known the game for a long time.
00:19:20.340 Because we're taught that through every generation, every generation, and so on and so on.
00:19:25.160 But the federal government doesn't want to fund it properly.
00:19:28.020 They spend too much time worrying about boards.
00:19:30.780 And this tender, and that tender, and this group, and that group.
00:19:34.220 Oh, what's the board going to say?
00:19:35.580 Well, we have to have boards.
00:19:36.760 More boards, boards, boards, boards, boards, boards.
00:19:38.760 Just think of the Swedish chef.
00:19:40.100 You know, bork, bork, bork.
00:19:41.380 All that BS.
00:19:42.460 Nothing can get done.
00:19:45.020 But we can give away billions to this country.
00:19:46.940 And give away billions to that country.
00:19:48.540 We can send our men and women into harm's way without adequate vests, helmets, and the ability to feed themselves.
00:19:56.800 And yet, some of these clowns, these liberals.
00:19:59.140 Liberal-leaning, or these left-leaning people.
00:20:01.460 Who brag about their relatives' commitment.
00:20:05.080 What are your commitments?
00:20:08.440 What are you willing to sacrifice for this country like your grandparents did?
00:20:12.160 Or your great-uncles, or your fathers did?
00:20:15.280 I made a point of saying this in one of my Tuesday rant episodes.
00:20:18.300 What have you done?
00:20:20.480 You forget that your generation had the ability to go to school.
00:20:24.420 To get better education.
00:20:25.940 To get better jobs.
00:20:26.940 Because of the sacrifices of your great-uncles, and grandfathers, and fathers alike.
00:20:32.320 Okay?
00:20:32.620 You forget that.
00:20:35.860 And then you instill in us, the Generation Xers, that, well, Canada doesn't need this.
00:20:40.040 Canada doesn't need that.
00:20:41.040 Oh, Canada's never going to get hurt.
00:20:42.340 Canada's not going to go through this.
00:20:44.340 We're going through it right now, mofos.
00:20:47.460 We're going through it right now.
00:20:50.620 In our classrooms, with indoctrination.
00:20:52.560 In our universities, with indoctrination.
00:20:54.720 And within our legal and our political systems.
00:20:57.320 With more indoctrination, and woke ethics, and what-ifs.
00:21:00.620 Rather than what is.
00:21:02.720 And what's going to happen.
00:21:03.880 So, this Canada day, let's be thankful for Canada.
00:21:10.440 There's a few friends and people I've talked to, and a few people that I admire that have said different things.
00:21:16.580 Who don't agree with this.
00:21:17.980 And rightfully so.
00:21:18.980 And that's the joy about being in Canada.
00:21:20.820 You can agree, or disagree, or agree to agree, or disagree.
00:21:24.640 Doesn't matter.
00:21:26.600 I personally don't care who's gay, straight, bi, tri, whatever.
00:21:29.660 As long as two consenting adults enjoy each other's company, and they want to love each other.
00:21:33.560 Fucking knock yourselves out.
00:21:35.600 I don't care.
00:21:36.340 My lifestyle is not going to be compromised.
00:21:37.820 Because there might be a gay person here, or a lesbian here, or a bisexual there.
00:21:42.240 I don't care.
00:21:43.660 Live and let live.
00:21:44.860 Right?
00:21:45.440 Is that the classical liberal mantra?
00:21:47.680 Is that not the classical liberal stance?
00:21:50.260 Didn't Voltaire say something like that many moons ago?
00:21:53.340 In regards to, I may disagree with what you say, but I will fight for your fucking right to say it nonetheless.
00:21:59.620 Have we forgotten that?
00:22:01.420 To my American listeners, have we forgotten that?
00:22:03.280 To my British and Australian and German listeners like, have we forgot that principle?
00:22:09.500 There are people out there who don't want free speech because they hate bad words.
00:22:13.760 There's people out there who don't want freedom of expression because they disagree with your lifestyle, yet they prefer to walk around every June with their ding-dong hanging out going,
00:22:20.520 Oh, look at me.
00:22:21.180 I'm free.
00:22:22.780 Freedom for me, but none for you.
00:22:24.660 Right?
00:22:25.900 Rules for thee, but none for me.
00:22:27.980 Right?
00:22:28.240 Do as I say, not as I do.
00:22:30.320 That sounds very, very socialist, doesn't it?
00:22:34.700 Very, very communist.
00:22:35.960 See, socialism, you vote in.
00:22:37.140 Communism, it's forced on you.
00:22:39.740 Right?
00:22:40.120 Two sides of roughly the same coin.
00:22:42.060 Just like fascism and communism, two sides of the same coin.
00:22:45.760 Shuffle some paperwork and there's the difference.
00:22:47.640 But it's totalitarian nonetheless.
00:22:50.400 So we as Canadians, we as North Americans and my American listeners and my listeners from all over the planet,
00:22:56.160 if you have a liberal government, like a very, very liberal-minded government, a liberal country,
00:23:01.780 where you can go about and make money and do your thing and pay your mortgage and pay your bills and have an ice cream
00:23:06.880 or see this or see that and love who you want,
00:23:10.480 then it's time that we stand up and defend that value.
00:23:15.380 Right?
00:23:16.700 Starting here.
00:23:18.280 My American listeners, starting in your state or in your county.
00:23:21.280 My Canadian listeners, starting in our districts or in our counties too.
00:23:25.380 The municipal and the provincial and then finally the federal.
00:23:28.220 But while we still have this platform, ladies and gentlemen,
00:23:30.300 let us keep expressing ourselves as freely as possible,
00:23:34.200 regardless of what some snowflake says or what this dude says or this girl says
00:23:39.480 or this person identifies as a shoe says,
00:23:42.980 keep saying it.
00:23:45.240 Keep speaking your mind.
00:23:48.420 Do it well.
00:23:50.260 Do it to the best of your ability.
00:23:52.960 Stand firm, stand high.
00:23:54.840 It's that simple.
00:23:55.780 Now, I would like to be out there protesting.
00:24:00.460 I would have loved to have been with the convoy.
00:24:02.560 But like I said, because of my financial situation, I couldn't do it.
00:24:07.080 Right?
00:24:07.660 And they have people that back up the convoy saying they did a great job
00:24:10.800 and people say they didn't do a great job.
00:24:14.100 But then there was roughly 298 people that had their bank accounts frozen,
00:24:17.680 their assets frozen,
00:24:19.180 because they were deemed as terrorists, domestic terrorists.
00:24:22.960 Yet they were protesting and fighting a good fight,
00:24:24.680 saying enough of these mandates.
00:24:27.520 But in the same sense,
00:24:28.720 if the federal government is going to do that to our citizens
00:24:30.880 and yet not persecute or prosecute individuals that burn how many churches down,
00:24:35.900 you can see a contrast here in context here,
00:24:38.320 who they favor or not.
00:24:41.380 The sitting government in this country right now says,
00:24:43.460 oh, yes, we believe in expression and freedom.
00:24:47.200 But their actions have proven,
00:24:48.700 we believe in expression and freedom as long as you walk our line.
00:24:52.320 I will eat the bugs and like them, jawohl.
00:24:55.880 Right?
00:24:56.900 What's that sound like?
00:24:58.740 Hmm.
00:24:59.540 Interesting.
00:25:01.580 But then again, you know,
00:25:03.680 they just don't,
00:25:04.620 they just keep proving that they don't care about you
00:25:06.160 or me or anybody else.

00:25:24.260 ladies and gentlemen,
00:25:25.200 Krusty Canuck podcast episode 213.
00:25:28.080 That is right.
00:25:29.000 Episode 213.
00:25:30.820 Happy Canada Day or happy carbon tax today
00:25:33.600 or up yours Canada with love from the Liberal Party.
00:25:36.460 That's right.
00:25:37.240 You can see my title card here,
00:25:38.380 Justin Trudeau leaning down,
00:25:39.900 taking one of his many selfies,
00:25:41.100 how he did that.
00:25:41.880 Yes,
00:25:42.100 he did that.
00:25:42.680 His party did that.
00:25:43.880 Krista Freeland because she's such a great financier.
00:25:47.080 That's right.
00:25:47.400 The pint size,
00:25:48.160 you know what it reminds with hunt.
00:25:50.680 It rhymes with the word hunt.
00:25:52.620 I'm not going to say it.
00:25:54.000 I might have some female listeners going,
00:25:55.460 oh my God.
00:25:56.400 Anyways,
00:25:56.720 just words.
00:25:57.840 But needless to say it,
00:25:58.600 we're all adults here.
00:25:59.760 We can handle the bad words,
00:26:00.940 the bad language.
00:26:03.020 All I can say is we shall persevere.
00:26:06.760 I don't have any viable solution.
00:26:09.440 You know,
00:26:10.100 to end the carbon taxes.
00:26:12.080 Other than if I was elected,
00:26:13.820 I would table legislation after legislation
00:26:16.000 to end the carbon tax.
00:26:18.160 It's basically a cash grab.
00:26:19.980 How can this country of 40 million people,
00:26:23.220 this,
00:26:23.380 this tiny little populace compared to our land masses,
00:26:26.120 how can we save the world based in carbon taxes?
00:26:29.980 How can we do that?
00:26:32.460 Right.
00:26:32.700 Stop driving cars,
00:26:34.080 stop driving trucks.
00:26:35.800 Are we going to start moving meat and fish
00:26:37.960 back and forth across the country via wagon train?
00:26:41.840 Okay.
00:26:43.280 Unless we dry it,
00:26:44.520 you know,
00:26:44.680 make some jerky.
00:26:46.360 Maybe it could be efficient.
00:26:48.360 Right.
00:26:48.820 How are we going to heat our homes come the winter?
00:26:51.400 See where I live in Canada and my,
00:26:53.540 my,
00:26:53.700 my part of the country.
00:26:54.880 Okay.
00:26:55.340 Just East of Edmonton.
00:26:57.100 We have record temperatures anywhere from minus 40 to minus 45.
00:27:01.320 Okay.
00:27:01.720 That's a nice dry cold.
00:27:03.340 Right.
00:27:04.800 That's,
00:27:05.260 that's nasty.
00:27:06.300 And yet there's powers that be that want to get rid of fossil fuels
00:27:09.060 altogether.
00:27:10.360 Okay.
00:27:10.760 So we're going to heat our houses.
00:27:11.760 We're going to go to local farmers and grab shit patties and burn shit.
00:27:16.220 Are we going to collect a lot of wood?
00:27:18.640 Like our ancestors did.
00:27:20.140 Like the first settlers did.
00:27:22.620 When they built log cabins and homesteads,
00:27:24.700 it had,
00:27:24.960 had something to burn.
00:27:27.080 Right.
00:27:27.480 Is that what you want us to do?
00:27:30.160 Right.
00:27:31.340 See,
00:27:31.760 carbon is plant food.
00:27:32.680 Ladies and gentlemen,
00:27:33.140 this is like grade six and grade 10 science.
00:27:36.100 How plants thrive.
00:27:37.820 The more plants.
00:27:39.180 Right.
00:27:40.140 The cleaner,
00:27:40.800 the air,
00:27:41.480 the less plants.
00:27:43.220 Let's clean the air.
00:27:44.400 Right.
00:27:45.180 That simple.
00:27:45.940 We were taught this back in the eighties and the nineties.
00:27:48.780 When these students still the whole ozone layer emergency,
00:27:51.500 Oh,
00:27:51.680 we'll kill all these plants with a big hole in the sky.
00:27:53.580 Now I guess the ozone layer has repaired itself.
00:27:56.880 Ooh,
00:27:57.180 look nature taking over,
00:27:58.600 doing something wonderful.
00:28:00.000 Who knew?
00:28:01.420 Anyhow,
00:28:01.800 ladies and gentlemen,
00:28:02.980 I have been Krusty Canuck in this beautiful Canada day,
00:28:05.620 2023.
00:28:06.800 To my American listeners out there,
00:28:08.320 I look forward to your celebrations on the 4th.
00:28:11.000 I'll be back at work though,
00:28:12.560 but you know,
00:28:14.140 nonetheless,
00:28:15.060 I look forward to all the memes and the sayings and expression on glorifying
00:28:18.680 your independence from the British.
00:28:21.080 Yes,
00:28:21.480 but still happy 4th of July.
00:28:23.300 To my American listeners and friends out there too.
00:28:26.660 And happy Canada day to all of my Canucks.
00:28:29.320 Happy Canada day,
00:28:30.100 ladies and gentlemen,
00:28:31.280 regardless of what's been going on here in the world and going on in this
00:28:34.560 country.
00:28:35.760 Still,
00:28:36.360 please take a few minutes to reflect on the sacrifices that were made for us.
00:28:42.880 Right.
00:28:44.180 From World War II,
00:28:45.480 from Korea to the peace keepers.
00:28:48.300 And even to some of those Canadians that went across the border and fought alongside the Americans in the Vietnam War.
00:28:57.320 And to every Canadian that sacrificed his or her life for the greater good,
00:29:02.520 for the welfare and the freedom of other individuals today.
00:29:06.120 Hoo-ah to my infantry brothers.
00:29:09.860 Hoo-ah to my Marine brothers.
00:29:12.260 And,
00:29:12.380 uh,
00:29:12.860 I don't know what else to say other than take care of yourselves and enjoy yourselves and be safe and enjoy this Canada day for all it is.
00:29:21.760 To you and yours,
00:29:22.860 happy Canada day from the Krusty Nick podcast.
00:29:24.760 And I will have another episode up this Tuesday of my Tuesday rant.
00:29:29.900 I don't know what the topic is just yet.
00:29:31.480 I might figure something out.
00:29:32.840 Depends what's going to happen in the news the next couple of days,
00:29:35.060 but I'll find something to rant about too.
00:29:37.160 So like I say,
00:29:37.720 if you like and hear what you see,
00:29:38.640 click like,

00:29:50.200 Helps the algorithm gets Canadian content out there to other Canadians.
00:29:53.300 And to my,
00:29:54.200 to my American friends too,
00:29:55.680 if you want to see it,
00:29:56.720 but please thumbs up,
00:29:57.980 give me a comment,
00:29:58.640 all that good stuff and do what you can.

00:30:02.740 look after your friends and family,
00:30:05.100 help your neighbors out in these trying times.
00:30:07.240 And always remember humanity and merit wins the day.
00:30:11.620 Take care.
00:30:12.240 And I'll see you Tuesday.

00:30:43.300 There you are all equally working.
00:30:45.520 This has been another episode of the Krusty Canuck podcast.
00:30:51.640 Stay sane.
00:30:52.580 And thank you for listening.
00:30:54.120 From Western Canada.
