The Crusty Canuck Podcast - Ep#215 Tuesday Rant TTC Violence and the Mayor’s ”Solution”⧸ Trudeau sends Troops

00:00:00.980 A good evening, ladies and gentlemen. It's a beautiful 11th of July, 2023.

00:00:06.300 Come up with the Tuesday rant of the Kirsten Gank podcast.

00:00:08.720 Violence from the TTC and the Mayor's Solution.

00:00:11.320 Trudeau wants to send 2,200 troops to Latvia and rage over a t-shirt that was seen with a politician and just a regular dude at the Calgary Stampede.

00:00:21.600 All that and more coming up on this Tuesday rant of the Kirsten Gank podcast.

00:00:25.100 Listener and viewer discretion is advised because I smoke cigarettes and drop the F-bomb.

00:00:28.560 Oh, my. All that and more coming up. Please stick around.

00:00:37.720 Hit it, sweetheart. 1.00

00:00:39.940 Because I am hard, you will not like me.

00:00:42.900 Yes, sir.

00:00:46.360 There is no racial bigotry here.

00:00:51.220 There you are always will be working.

00:00:55.260 From Western Canada,

00:00:56.780 This is the Kirsten Gank podcast, a Canadian veteran's point of view on political, social, economic issues and life.

00:01:06.100 Here's Kirsten. 0.99

00:01:07.180 Yeah, that's right, ladies and gentlemen.

00:01:10.220 It is Tuesday, July the 11th.

00:01:12.940 Hope you've all had a good week.

00:01:14.280 I know I have.

00:01:15.540 I am your host, Krusty Kinnock.

00:01:18.140 On this beautiful 11th of July.

00:01:20.280 If you're liking here to see, please click, like, and subscribe and share this content all over your social media platform.

00:01:24.940 And if you feel like donating, please donate, too.

00:01:27.600 So, as the title card said, yes, in recent events, we've had some violence on the Toronto transit system there, too.

00:01:34.860 There was a young man by the name of Moses Lewin, 25 years old, a man who has been in and out of the system, who is wanted in other crimes.

00:01:42.060 I apparently got into a fight with somebody on the subway and was, well, yeah, I think he actually stabbed somebody, too.

00:01:47.800 So, I'll leave links in the description if you're always to follow.

00:01:50.860 And Olivia Chow, Toronto's new mayor, has weighed in on what we can do to curb the violence in these transit systems.

00:02:00.980 Her suggestion is pretty straightforward.

00:02:02.480 I'll put a card up here and I'll read along with you in a moment.

00:02:06.180 But we're seeing this a lot lately, ladies and gentlemen.

00:02:10.280 We're seeing this a lot when it comes to violence and when it comes to gangs, when it comes to thuggery.

00:02:15.860 And there's a lot of catch and releases going on, too.

00:02:19.100 You can thank the likes of Bill C-71, I believe, and C-75.

00:02:23.200 Our justice system is just releasing people at random for no apparent reason other than, I think, racial profiling, to be honest with you, from the social justice warrior doctrine that's plaguing our country as we speak.

00:02:40.720 If someone breaks a law, they get arrested, they get detained, they get released on bail, they break the law again, they get arrested and detained, they break the law again, and then they commit a heinous crime. 0.89

00:02:51.480 Yeah, they run somebody over with a vehicle like that poor sap there a few years back who killed 10 people who claimed insanity when really he was just a sicko.

00:02:58.360 And to other people that are holding on for dear life to justify their crimes because of their backgrounds.

00:03:06.240 It's really, really sad, ladies and gentlemen, how things are turning out.

00:03:10.080 But I think the people out there, there's a silent rage brewing, too.

00:03:15.220 But I'll just set this article up for you here, too.

00:03:18.680 And what's been going on with the investigation.

00:03:21.360 Now, this is from the blog, T.O.

00:03:24.660 This is basically a very, very left-leaning format, media, you know, paper.

00:03:35.860 But you decide.

00:03:37.660 I'm just going to read along here and see what you guys think.

00:03:41.380 So, let's see, blog, T.O.

00:03:43.380 So, people blaming Olivia Chow for the subway stabbing, even though she isn't mayor yet.

00:03:48.300 Well, she is mayor. 1.00

00:03:49.540 She is in charge.

00:03:51.120 And there is a video in this article, too, there, ladies and gentlemen.

00:03:53.560 So, I'll cue that up for years later.

00:03:55.280 Or you can read it yourselves.

00:03:57.480 Another violent incident on the TTC has Toronto asking who's to blame for the decay of safety on public transit.

00:04:02.680 Many are finding ways to somehow pin Thursday's stabbing on the broader crime problems in public transit on a mayor-elected Olivia Chow,

00:04:08.820 who hasn't even taken office yet in a bizarre disassociation from reality.

00:04:13.000 Chow was elected mayor on June 26th in the city of Toronto and will not take office until July 12th.

00:04:19.120 She has yet to implement any of her policies, including those regarding transit.

00:04:22.800 However, that doesn't stop her critics from blaming her for each and every incident that occurs in the TTC.

00:04:28.440 Okay.

00:04:29.680 There's a lot of tweets on this thing here, too.

00:04:31.860 Among Chow's most vocal critics is former mayoral candidate Anthony Fury,

00:04:36.360 whose hard-right conservative stance has only managed to sway 35,899 voters,

00:04:42.040 or 5% of the total.

00:04:43.840 Now, firstly, blog T.O.

00:04:45.920 He's conservative, yeah, but he's not hard-right.

00:04:49.900 He's a common-sense man.

00:04:51.220 He's a family man, too.

00:04:52.740 So, it's amazing how a lot of these woke individuals, these writers,

00:04:56.620 are always hoping to get someone who's hard-right.

00:05:00.700 Oh, you're so hard-right because you disagree with our mantra. 0.99

00:05:03.060 Crap, right? 0.99

00:05:04.780 Problem is, they've had violence issues before on the TTC, 0.99

00:05:09.460 and former mayor John Tory, you know, who was stooping one of his assistants

00:05:13.540 in the name of private safety during the pandemic, you know,

00:05:16.400 he was getting some on the side where he told everybody to stay home

00:05:18.460 and mind their business.

00:05:20.400 He tried to put police into the TTC, and that was only a temporary solution.

00:05:25.920 Now, I remember as a young lad, yes, when I would visit Toronto

00:05:31.820 and ride the subways, it wasn't hard to see a cop anywhere.

00:05:36.640 It wasn't an issue.

00:05:38.200 You'd always see a couple police officers around this station or that station,

00:05:41.720 so they were not hard to find.

00:05:44.320 So, obviously, it is a political thing that's been going on,

00:05:47.900 but I'll read some more here, too.

00:05:49.160 So, from Anthony Fury, one of his tweets was,

00:05:52.120 a top concern I heard on this campaign trail was that people don't let their kids

00:05:55.920 take transit anymore.

00:05:57.120 They don't feel safe.

00:05:58.040 Olivia Chow consistently ignored or downplayed these safety concerns 0.99

00:06:01.540 for partisan reasons, but the time has come for her to admit we need more police,

00:06:05.720 and rightfully so.

00:06:07.320 And on this tweet here, ladies and gentlemen, if you want to watch it, you can.

00:06:10.820 Like I say, a fight broke out.

00:06:11.980 It was almost like an MMA fight, but Buddy got stabbed, which was kind of scary.

00:06:17.180 So, whether a case of trolling or genuine belief, comments blaming Chow

00:06:20.460 flooded Twitter on Thursday afternoon, following a subway stabbing that left

00:06:24.460 one man in hospital and shut down Line 1 subway service for much of the day.

00:06:29.380 So, there's a lot of tweets in this article that you guys can read on your own.

00:06:34.080 Chow has spoken about the incidents, just that mental health issues are the root

00:06:37.660 of the problem, and stating that she plans to add social workers to the TTC.

00:06:42.180 Okay, now there's the meat and potatoes of this story.

00:06:45.400 Okay.

00:06:46.180 Social workers.

00:06:47.520 Okay.

00:06:48.120 Now, young man, is that your blade?

00:06:50.460 Is that your blood?

00:06:53.080 Is what you're doing, is it really, really right?

00:06:55.220 How do you feel?

00:06:56.940 How do you feel about what you're doing?

00:06:58.740 Is that going to solve the problem?

00:07:02.220 Is that your blade?

00:07:03.520 Is that your blood?

00:07:04.680 Oh, really?

00:07:07.500 You know, somebody who is armed, doesn't matter what mental capacity they're in,

00:07:11.940 or what's on their mind, okay, this individual has been in trouble before.

00:07:16.100 And I'll leave an article in the description for you, for you all to read, too, about this

00:07:19.960 guy's background.

00:07:20.820 Okay?

00:07:21.060 Now, forget the racialization.

00:07:23.400 I am so sick and tired of racialization when it comes to these issues here.

00:07:27.160 They have to worry about the downtrodden, or about the so-called marginalized, okay?

00:07:31.720 It doesn't matter what color you are.

00:07:33.120 It doesn't matter what gender you are. 1.00

00:07:34.300 You take a knife with you for some reason.

00:07:37.160 One, you're trying to protect yourself, because you might live in a rough neighborhood.

00:07:41.080 Or two, you might need it for work, like I do.

00:07:43.580 I carry a knife when I go to work, because it comes in handy.

00:07:46.060 When I have to cut some string, cut some twine, move some dirt around, you know, sometimes

00:07:50.620 repair my truck, it comes in handy.

00:07:52.880 But if I have to ride a subway and carry a knife, it's one of two things, to protect yourself 0.99

00:07:56.420 or to cause some shit. 0.99

00:07:58.580 I mean, look at this guy's track record. 0.99

00:07:59.860 He's caused a lot of shit, so it puts the justice system in perspective there, too. 0.99

00:08:05.140 So, like I'll say again, Chow has spoken about the incident, suggesting that mental health 0.99

00:08:08.380 issues are the root of the problem, and stating that she plans to add social workers to the 0.97

00:08:11.960 TTC, a stance her critics argue isn't enough to curb the trend of violence.

00:08:16.020 Well, do you think?

00:08:17.520 Like I said, is that your blood?

00:08:19.840 Is that your blade?

00:08:20.940 Now, do you really want to do that to somebody?

00:08:23.120 Do you really want to do that?

00:08:25.380 Like, it just goes to prove that a lot of these woke individuals,

00:08:29.860 who try to get down to earth and try to make people feel special, really, really deserve

00:08:35.700 exactly.

00:08:41.360 Even hours before the stabbing, another video circulated of a man smoking crack on a TTC

00:08:45.700 vehicle, was met with similar comments, stretching to blame the mayor-elect.

00:08:49.100 Of course, not everyone is sitting idly by and letting these opinions go unchecked.

00:08:54.360 So, that's pretty well self-explanatory, ladies and gentlemen.

00:08:56.660 Like I said, I will leave this article in the description for you guys to read along.

00:09:01.080 But, when it comes to the meat and potatoes of getting any kind of job done,

00:09:08.480 okay, it doesn't matter if you're mayor-elect, or you're the mayor, or you're the reeve,

00:09:12.500 or the superintendent of whatever division is in that part of the city.

00:09:18.180 You've got to look at things for what they are.

00:09:22.240 And we've got to start stepping up.

00:09:24.320 And we've got to start being hard on these criminals, for a very, very good reason.

00:09:27.680 Why?

00:09:28.220 So they don't offend again.

00:09:30.240 And where people can be safe. 0.99

00:09:32.980 Shit simple. 0.99

00:09:34.420 Stay updated. 0.99

00:09:49.040 And that's right, ladies and gentlemen, we'll go back to Tuesday Rant, episode 215.

00:09:53.760 Violence on the TTC and the mayor's solution.

00:09:56.680 Trudeau wants to send 2,200 troops to Latvia and rage over a T-shirt,

00:10:00.760 which I'll get to at the end of the show.

00:10:02.740 Anyway, carry on.

00:10:04.580 Excuse me.

00:10:05.280 Too many cigarettes.

00:10:06.060 Yes, Justin Trudeau wants to send 2,200 troops to Latvia.

00:10:10.880 So can you maybe think that something is in the works?

00:10:16.740 Hmm.

00:10:18.080 2,200 troops.

00:10:19.140 Now, I've displayed on my show numerous times the lackluster performances we've had from our leaders in regards to our military,

00:10:26.000 especially the civilian leaders, government and bureaucrats alike.

00:10:29.260 Yes, all these boards making these decisions about what kind of kit we should have and what kind of equipment the troops should get and all this.

00:10:36.600 And, you know, the first airplane that we're going to get is going to be delivered by 2026.

00:10:40.340 Oh, my.

00:10:41.680 So three years from now, we might get that brand new fighter jet we've all been waiting for.

00:10:45.140 Oh, so sexy.

00:10:47.320 Said nobody.

00:10:48.800 Now, you've heard me rant and rave about my time in the military, what I've seen, what I've done,

00:10:55.040 what my friends have seen, what I've done, and some fallen comrades out there that I have saluted and think about from time to time

00:11:02.280 and what they have accomplished and what they've done and how they've inspired others to be better people.

00:11:08.540 And when I see our prime minister bragging about sending 2,200 men and women to Latvia to be on standby,

00:11:15.120 it makes you think, right?

00:11:18.700 This government has done nothing great for our military.

00:11:21.760 Every veteran I've talked to has had to fight, submit papers, submit this and submit that just to get this benefit

00:11:31.340 and to get that benefit, while our politicians in Ottawa are entitled to such great benefits after six years of service.

00:11:40.240 I'll save that for another episode there, ladies and gentlemen. 0.98

00:11:43.360 But I think, you know, my point is that Trudeau is trying to sound like a big shot with other people's money.

00:11:48.020 Now, Canada has spent roughly about $8.5 billion on the Ukraine war effort.

00:11:54.000 Now, I'm all for helping the little guy.

00:11:55.920 I'm all for helping those people that really, really need it.

00:11:58.840 But there are men and women in this country that need it, too.

00:12:02.100 There are soldiers that were going to put their asses on the line, and they need the equipment.

00:12:06.780 Now, every government that I can think of since 1968 has ignored it.

00:12:11.580 But I'm not trying to sound biased or partisan here, but the only government that actually really stepped up

00:12:17.520 and tried to make a solid difference that I can think of was probably the Harper government back in the early 2000s

00:12:24.960 when Stephen Harper took over the portfolio, like how they all like to say, the portfolio of the portfolio,

00:12:31.760 and actually bought us some decent planes, some decent vehicles, made sure we had bullets and beans on the front.

00:12:38.840 Okay?

00:12:39.940 But I'm not trying to favor Harper here.

00:12:42.180 I'm just recognizing the actions that were committed because I was serving at that time.

00:12:46.300 And I know because I was in Afghanistan doing the deeds, along with some of my friends and some of my brothers and some of our fallen.

00:12:53.500 Anyway, carry on. 0.98

00:12:55.340 The Prime Minister is just basically wasting our fucking time looking like he really cares. 0.99

00:13:04.280 Okay? 1.00

00:13:04.960 That's all.

00:13:05.640 Looking like he really cares.

00:13:07.220 And for what purpose?

00:13:09.860 We don't have a pot to piss in. 0.98

00:13:12.480 And I'll be blunt.

00:13:13.340 We don't have a pot to piss in. 0.98

00:13:14.860 It's been super difficult the past three years for a lot of our troops to get the equipment they've needed.

00:13:20.040 Right?

00:13:20.560 Especially the troops going back and forth to Latvia and Poland and helping out and training here, training there.

00:13:24.640 There was issues with helmets, issues with vests, and issues with our men and women trying to feed themselves because it just wasn't in the budget.

00:13:34.460 Okay?

00:13:35.420 Now, there's lots of articles on the CBC that were going to prove that, too.

00:13:39.740 And I really, as much as I hate using the CBC, I will leave a CBC article for you as all to read.

00:13:46.200 Basically, what he is doing, our beautiful little sock puppet of a Prime Minister, trying to tell us exactly what he means.

00:13:57.360 But he never says what he means to begin with.

00:13:59.600 He never does.

00:14:01.280 So, I'll just read along here for you as all, ladies and gentlemen.

00:14:04.580 So, Trudeau announces plans to more than double size of NATO deployment to Latvia.

00:14:10.900 Okay, that's great.

00:14:12.080 Yeah, great, Justin.

00:14:13.120 Thanks a lot, buddy.

00:14:14.760 Now, plan to add 1,200 troops in Baltic country could take three years to complete.

00:14:19.000 Well, see, that's the thing.

00:14:19.980 It doesn't matter if it happens in three years or three months.

00:14:22.660 We've got to upgrade things first, buddy.

00:14:24.860 Canada plans to more double the size of its contribution to NATO mission in Latvia by adding 1,200 military personnel to its contingent there, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced.

00:14:32.500 It's Monday, there will be a gradual deployment of troops and some new equipment to create a persistence present in the Baltic country.

00:14:40.220 Canada has roughly 1,000 soldiers deployed to Latvia right now with extra forces, including 15 Leopard 2A4M tanks.

00:14:46.840 The contingent will swell with 2,200 over the next few years.

00:14:49.960 The full deployment won't be complete until 2026.

00:14:52.520 Just as we get our new fighter jets.

00:14:54.600 Oh, joy!

00:14:58.600 Paradise!

00:15:00.220 Well, whatever.

00:15:00.760 Anyway, the Liberal government has earmarked $2.6 billion for the deployment over three years, but is tapping into previously announced funds to the 2022 federal budget, $1.4 billion to pay for it.

00:15:14.520 Okay, so you just gave away the past year and a half, $8.5 billion to one little nation.

00:15:19.860 And yet, the Canadian forces has to wait for $2.6 billion over three years.

00:15:29.960 Is there light at the end of this tunnel?

00:15:40.260 Anyway, time would tell.

00:15:42.480 Trudeau made the announcement at Camp Adazi, the military base near Latvian capital of Riga that houses the existing Canadian contingent.

00:15:49.600 He was joined at the press conference by Latvian Prime Minister Kristjanis Karnes and Defence Minister Anita Arnand.

00:15:56.240 Yes, he's a real gem, too.

00:15:58.260 I have an education.

00:16:00.080 But you can't understand humility, lady. 0.80

00:16:01.600 Go figure.

00:16:02.100 This is the way forward in modern defence, Trudeau said.

00:16:06.500 Almost a dozen countries from across NATO are cooperating, training, working alongside each other, and learning valuable lessons from each other to make our collective defence stronger.

00:16:15.400 Canada and Latvia signed an agreement Monday, the so-called roadmap for creating this NATO brigade.

00:16:19.740 Following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, leaders of the Western Military Alliance agreed that summit last year to turn battle groups based in several Eastern European countries along the border with Russia into full combat-capable brigades.

00:16:30.920 Canada has been in charge.

00:16:32.340 The multinational battle group of Livia was established in 2017 to deter Russian aggression in the region.

00:16:38.560 I'm not going to let him, you know, I'm not going to let this do that.

00:16:41.820 I'm sorry, ladies and gentlemen. 0.99

00:16:42.980 I just don't, I don't buy his bullshit. 0.99

00:16:45.380 I'll let you read along anyway. 1.00

00:16:47.320 I just, like, it's all dog and pony.

00:16:53.040 It's all a dog and pony show.

00:16:54.460 It has nothing to do with defending this country.

00:16:57.280 It's, it's all for them.

00:16:59.340 Okay.

00:16:59.740 It's all for them to look and feel like they're really making a commitment for our benefit.

00:17:04.720 And it's all making the rest of us go, really?

00:17:07.640 Especially us vets.

00:17:08.640 Especially people that have served.

00:17:09.740 And some of my friends that are still serving today.

00:17:12.000 Some of the rumblings I would hear back and forth.

00:17:15.280 Why can't we get this?

00:17:16.360 Why can't we get that?

00:17:17.380 What's going on here?

00:17:18.200 What's going on there?

00:17:19.480 Right?

00:17:19.740 I remember these rumblings too up until the 2006 election.

00:17:23.660 Well, Paul Martin was in charge.

00:17:25.780 Oh, we're going to try this out.

00:17:28.000 We're going to try that out.

00:17:29.760 We're going to wait two years before this comes into effect.

00:17:31.980 And wait three years before that comes into effect.

00:17:34.360 Right?

00:17:34.960 So you see the priorities, ladies and gentlemen, when it comes to defense of this country.

00:17:38.600 Okay?

00:17:38.900 We all heard Trudeau back in 2018 tell that young corporal, you know, you're asking for more than we're able to give. 1.00

00:17:45.000 Bullshit. 1.00

00:17:48.540 We know it. 1.00

00:17:49.640 They know it.

00:17:50.760 And you know it, folks.

00:17:51.880 My wonderful audience, you know it too.

00:17:53.440 To my Canadian audience out there, you know it too.

00:17:57.160 There have been politicians that have said, well, some of our constituents just don't want this.

00:18:01.280 And some of our constituents just don't want that.

00:18:04.060 And it's like, well, is it, are you sure?

00:18:06.140 Have you actually done a proper poll where you've asked every constituent, what do you think about our military in this country?

00:18:11.300 Do you think we should upgrade it?

00:18:13.340 Right?

00:18:13.500 Meet that 2% GDP as NATO has asked for for the past 40 years?

00:18:20.360 Right? 0.98

00:18:21.200 Or should we just sit in our hands and wait and let our friends down south look after our sorry asses? 0.99

00:18:26.760 It's great to have an ally. 0.98

00:18:28.560 It's great to have a big cousin out there to watch your back.

00:18:31.900 But we've got to start watching our backs, ladies and gentlemen.

00:18:34.500 And we're going to start doing it pretty quick. 0.99

00:18:36.980 So we're going to start electing leaders that really give a shit about us. 0.99

00:18:52.280 And that's right, ladies and gentlemen.

00:18:58.640 Back on the Tuesday Rant of Krusty Canuck podcast, episode 215, violence on the TTC and the mayor's solution.

00:19:05.880 Trudeau wants to send 2,200 troops to Latvia and rage over a T-shirt.

00:19:10.280 So, yes, it's been in the news recently in regards to what's been going on with Alberta politics.

00:19:18.100 Daniel Smith under the harsh light of a certain T-shirt.

00:19:23.740 Yes, somebody wore a T-shirt that basically said straight pride.

00:19:28.520 You know, you all came from a straight couple one way or the other.

00:19:31.540 And something about bad laws.

00:19:34.920 But I'm not going to sit and dwell in it, dwell in it, dwell in it.

00:19:39.540 But there's an article here from Global of All Places.

00:19:44.940 Okay.

00:19:45.640 You know, what does, what message does Daniel Smith, a straight pride photo, send to all burdens?

00:19:51.200 And this is what it was, too.

00:19:52.380 It was just a photo that really had, you know, no, no, no issues in regards to anti-gay or anti-this.

00:20:02.020 It was just a T-shirt that somebody wore that a few people just don't agree with because, oh, my goodness, what's going on with the world today?

00:20:11.000 Because there's so many hurt feelings out there.

00:20:13.500 So I'll say again, what message does Daniel Smith straight pride photo send to Albertans?

00:20:18.520 And most of the Albertans I know really don't care what you do.

00:20:22.380 You know what I mean?

00:20:22.940 A controversial photo of Premier Daniel Smith posing with the man in a straight pride T-shirt at the Calgary Stampede this weekend is causing a stir.

00:20:30.060 Smith's office released a statement Monday saying the Premier didn't read his shirt and obviously doesn't agree with his message.

00:20:36.360 Okay.

00:20:36.780 So whether someone's trying to cover their tracks or someone just can't admit to just how they feel.

00:20:42.320 Smith's office released a statement on Monday saying the Premier didn't read his shirt and obviously doesn't agree with his message.

00:20:47.560 She's always been clear she supports the LGBTQ plus community.

00:20:50.720 And we'll continue our work to make sure they feel safe in our province.

00:20:55.220 The front of the man's shirt reads, thank a straight person today for your existence.

00:21:00.280 Above the classic male and female stick figures.

00:21:02.680 Below, straight pride.

00:21:04.520 And the back of their shirt says, good people disobey bad laws.

00:21:08.840 Now, I don't know about you, but how does that say anti-gay?

00:21:14.460 Honestly.

00:21:16.300 How does that say we disagree with your lifestyle?

00:21:19.380 We don't want you to exist. 1.00

00:21:20.860 We want you to die. 0.99

00:21:21.820 How does that say anything of the sort? 0.99

00:21:24.820 Okay.

00:21:26.480 What is terrible about that man's T-shirt?

00:21:28.860 What is terrible about that T-shirt?

00:21:30.640 Period.

00:21:31.380 Doesn't matter if Daniel Smith's seen with it or Pierre Paulyev's seen with it.

00:21:35.200 We've seen our Prime Minister in blackface. 1.00

00:21:37.700 We've seen our Prime Minister pose for really stupid photographs. 1.00

00:21:44.940 Okay. 1.00

00:21:46.660 We've seen our Prime Minister in many, many costumes.

00:21:49.920 Pretending he really cares.

00:21:51.840 Yet you're worried about somebody at the Calgary Stampede.

00:21:55.280 You know, saying that good people disobey bad laws.

00:21:58.280 I think he's referring to all these laws that are being pushed down people's throats in the name of this transgender trend. 1.00

00:22:05.900 How kids are being sliced and diced on a weekly basis in the name of affirming care.

00:22:11.440 When it's really you're just trying to change society to fit someone's narrative.

00:22:16.600 Right? 1.00

00:22:17.140 We know all this garbage. 1.00

00:22:18.740 You can't, you know. 0.99

00:22:20.300 So, needless to say, there is nothing wrong with that shirt.

00:22:23.900 And it's just, they're making monsters out of nothing.

00:22:27.060 You know?

00:22:28.280 It is unconscionable that Premier's staff will let her take a photo with someone representing such views,

00:22:32.940 said Dr. Christopher Wells, an associate professor at McEwen University.

00:22:36.800 Probably one of the most woke universities in Canada, needless to say.

00:22:40.160 I think it's very concerning and disturbing, said the Canada Research Chair for Public Understanding of Sexual and Gender Minority Youth.

00:22:47.100 What you're seeing here is people trying to legitimate these views as they were the dominant views in society.

00:22:52.100 Well, regardless of how you feel about a man and a woman getting together, having a baby, and creating the species that we are today.

00:23:03.560 What does it matter?

00:23:05.160 There is still no anti-gay, anti-lesbian, anti-bisexual, anti-trans stigma with that shirt.

00:23:11.600 If people can spend a month celebrating their sexual identity, why can't a man wear a t-shirt celebrating his? 0.70

00:23:20.640 What is wrong with that?

00:23:22.760 It puts in perspective the inclusion model we keep hearing about.

00:23:26.840 Love is love.

00:23:27.820 Include us.

00:23:28.900 Accept.

00:23:29.660 Tolerance.

00:23:30.180 Yet, how much tolerance was coming out of that?

00:23:33.320 I'll let you decide, my good people.

00:23:35.760 I'll let you decide what kind of tolerance comes out of that. 0.98

00:23:38.160 This is just ridiculous. 0.79

00:23:41.400 To make a long story short, it's the new trend that's going on right now. 0.98

00:23:45.860 The new trend of victimhood and how dare you say this and how dare you say that.

00:23:50.000 And especially coming from so-called academics at McEwen University.

00:23:55.360 This is what I've got to say to you, Professor. 1.00

00:23:58.580 Fuck off. 1.00

00:24:00.180 That t-shirt does not display any kind of hatred. 1.00

00:24:06.040 It is a different lifestyle.

00:24:08.420 It is just a basic lifestyle.

00:24:10.360 Just like a gay couple or a lesbian couple or a bisexual couple. 0.95

00:24:16.720 Lifestyle choices.

00:24:19.020 Whatever happened to being inclusive?

00:24:22.140 Diversity.

00:24:23.160 Integrity.

00:24:24.980 Equality.

00:24:26.960 Huh?

00:24:27.500 There you go.

00:24:28.220 So, it goes to show that we want equality, but not for you.

00:24:32.600 We want equality, but not for them. 0.99

00:24:34.660 We want equality, but you better agree with us or else.

00:24:37.960 That's what I get out of that story.

00:24:39.040 And if that gentleman might be rude or gruff, whatever, he's got a right to express himself, just like all the naked people did during the pride parades. 1.00

00:24:48.920 And there's lots of pictures online there, ladies and gentlemen, for people to see of grown men walking around with the gay pride colors and wings, naked. 0.50

00:24:56.900 The ding-dongs hanging out, right? 1.00

00:24:59.960 They're allowed to express themselves.

00:25:01.700 So, why can't he?

00:25:03.680 It's that simple.

00:25:05.040 Right?

00:25:05.340 It's that simple.

00:25:05.960 Anyhow, in some more positive news, ladies and gentlemen, I will be going live with the fine people at Northern Perspective.

00:25:16.400 Yes, Cypher and Fox.

00:25:17.740 They put on a great channel there on YouTube.

00:25:19.760 And I will be live with them this Sunday at 9.30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, 7.30 p.m. Mountain Standard Time.

00:25:29.060 So, please tune into that.

00:25:30.880 They'll probably be asking me questions, interviewing about my life and all that good stuff and what have you.

00:25:35.660 But I will be there.

00:25:37.520 So, on the live stream this Sunday evening, July 16th, 9.30 p.m. Eastern and 7.30 p.m. Mountain.

00:25:46.200 So, please check us out there.

00:25:47.840 They're a great couple from the East.

00:25:50.400 They do wonderful things and they speak their minds.

00:25:53.020 We may disagree on certain policies because I'm more libertarian.

00:25:57.220 They're more conservative.

00:25:58.600 But when it comes down to the brass tacks of it all, we all want the freedom just to do our own thing and not worry about what the government says, not worry about regulation, and definitely not worry about people's feelings.

00:26:12.040 Like I said about the PSWs. 0.95

00:26:13.700 Is that your blood?

00:26:14.960 Is that your blade?

00:26:15.920 Like, did you really have to be violent?

00:26:17.780 Oh, my goodness.

00:26:18.660 Oh, my goodness.

00:26:19.680 Is that your blood?

00:26:21.100 You know, I just shake my head at the mentality of some of these individuals calling the shots.

00:26:28.060 Right?

00:26:28.160 There's also an article going on.

00:26:30.460 I had it saved.

00:26:32.220 I don't know where I put it.

00:26:33.100 But the Canadian Taxpayers Federation weighed in on how many positions that the Trudeau government has put together, bureaucratic positions, since 2015.

00:26:43.020 And the number, they figure, is 98,000 bureaucratic positions, all in the name of government.

00:26:52.580 So when you listen to a lot of these lefties talk about, oh, there's no inflation.

00:26:56.620 There's lots of jobs.

00:26:58.760 Right?

00:26:58.880 Bureaucratic jobs, jobs brought to you by the Canadian taxpayer, not by a private industry, not by a private company, but the Canadian taxpayer.

00:27:06.900 So to all these harpies out there talking about how the inflation is just in our imagination, and we're doing really, really well, those individuals who have bureaucratic jobs are doing well, while people like you and me are struggling.

00:27:22.660 Anyway, on that note, if you'd like to hear what you see, ladies and gentlemen, please click like and subscribe, share this content, all over your social media platform.

00:27:54.940 You guys are awesome.

00:27:56.440 To my rumblers, please add some more comments if you can, too.

00:28:22.220 I don't believe in begging.

00:28:23.820 And I'm not going to sit here and demand currency.

00:28:49.840 There's no red tape with it.

00:28:51.120 They get a percentage, and I get a percentage, which basically makes it fair for everybody, too.

00:28:55.820 So please consider donating to the Crusty Connect podcast.

00:28:58.160 And check out my shop, too, if you can.

00:29:01.760 I've got T-shirts.

00:29:02.740 I've got swimsuits.

00:29:03.640 I'm actually trying to work on a fancy toot like this.

00:29:05.820 I had a couple of fans write me some emails asking me if they can get a fancy toot like this.

00:29:11.000 And I actually got this toot at Walmart about a few years back.

00:29:14.160 But they would like the toot with the flag and Crusty Canuck on the back of it, too.

00:29:20.000 So I'm working on getting those made as well for a decent price so you, my wonderful audience, can actually own one yourself.

00:29:38.100 All of the Crusty Canuck logo on it so you can enjoy it and be part of the show.

00:29:43.840 But with saying that, this has been Episode 215 of the Tuesday Rant, the Crusty Canuck podcast.

00:29:50.980 This Saturday, I'll have another episode up.

00:29:52.780 And once again, I will remind you all to join me this Sunday with Northern Perspective, Cypher and Fox.

00:29:58.780 They put on a great, great video series.

00:30:01.280 And their last live stream is really cool.

00:30:04.060 I really enjoyed it.

00:30:04.820 And I'll be super lucky to be part of their live stream this coming Sunday.

00:30:09.040 So please come on out, say hi to both of them, and say hi to me.

00:30:11.600 And do what you can to be part of the show.

00:30:14.900 But like I always say, ladies and gentlemen, do what you can to have each other in these trying times.

00:30:18.120 Don't be shy.

00:30:19.440 You know, solutions are simple.

00:30:20.820 Well, it's just trying to get rid of all the half-assed answers.

00:30:25.360 You know, half-assed answers that have held us back with all regulations and red tape and terrible leadership.

00:30:32.980 And you and I and all of us deserve a hell of a lot better.

00:30:38.020 Don't you think?

00:30:39.320 Right?

00:30:41.020 Right?

00:30:41.540 Don't you think? 1.00

00:30:42.140 We've got to get rid of these ass-clowns. 1.00

00:30:45.560 We have to get rid of these really dull and stupid regulations. 1.00

00:30:50.800 Especially when it comes to taxes. 1.00

00:30:52.240 And especially all the guys that hold on to their pearls and say,

00:30:54.680 Justin's doing a great job.

00:30:56.520 At least not.

00:30:58.040 Right?

00:30:59.240 And like I said on one of the Northern Perspective live streams, 0.99

00:31:03.220 these leaders couldn't lead a crap to a diaper. 0.98

00:31:05.160 So, but like I say, ladies and gentlemen, 0.97

00:31:08.420 if you like and hear what you see, click, like, and subscribe.

00:31:14.680 You know, let us Canucks stand together and fight the C11s, C18s, and C36s out there 1.00

00:31:19.700 that want to censor Canadian content instead of promote it.

00:31:24.300 Because we know the truth.

00:31:25.900 But like I say, look after your friends and loved ones, ladies and gentlemen.

00:31:28.700 Thank you very much for all the warm comments.

00:31:31.300 And remember, humanity and merit wins the day.

00:31:35.900 Take care, and I'll see you this Saturday.

00:31:37.680 Bye for now.

00:31:41.820 Hit it, sweetheart. 1.00

00:31:47.040 Yes, sir.

00:31:50.480 There is no racial bigotry here.
