The Crusty Canuck Podcast - Ep# 221 Tuesday Rant JT and Sophie’s Divorce？ ⧸Pink Shirts⧸Privacy and Contradictions

00:00:00.960 Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. It's the beautiful 8th of August, 2023.

00:00:05.060 Coming up in this Tuesday's rant of the Crusty Connect podcast.

00:00:08.460 That's right, Sophie and G.T. separation, or ending divorce, pink shirts and more Barbie BS, privacy and contradictions. 0.84

00:00:17.340 I mean, I tell you, what is the world coming to? 0.98

00:00:20.520 Who the fuck cares? 0.99

00:00:23.000 Well, you can say that again. 0.99

00:00:24.500 Anyhow, stick around.

00:00:25.980 Some vulgar language, and I smoke cigarettes.

00:00:28.220 It's, you know, listener, view discretion as advised.

00:00:30.500 See you in a bit.

00:00:31.240 Cheers.

00:00:35.320 Get it, sweetheart.

00:00:37.580 Because I am hard, you will not like me.

00:00:40.340 Yes, sir.

00:00:43.960 There is no racial bigotry here.

00:00:48.320 There you are all equally working.

00:00:52.620 From Western Canada, this is the Crusty Canuck podcast.

00:00:56.900 A Canadian veteran's point of view.

00:00:59.620 On political, social, economic issues, and life.

00:01:03.540 Here's Crusty.

00:01:06.160 That's right, ladies and gentlemen.

00:01:07.200 Welcome to episode 221 of the Tuesday rant on the Crusty Connect podcast.

00:01:11.260 That's right.

00:01:11.700 Sophie and G.T.'s divorce.

00:01:12.780 Pink shirts, privacy and contradictions.

00:01:16.340 Welcome to the show, ladies and gentlemen.

00:01:17.920 I am your host, Crusty Canuck, on this beautiful Tuesday afternoon.

00:01:21.860 Yes, yes, yes.

00:01:22.880 So, like the title code says, there's an impending divorce between our prime minister and his loving wife, Sophie Gregoire Trudeau.

00:01:30.340 I guess they got married back in 2005 to a blithfully wonderful engagement and wedding ceremony.

00:01:36.860 And, of course, you actually look at some of the old wedding photos from the Justin Trudeau clan and entourage.

00:01:41.860 A few of those familiar faces, you know, that actually got elected in the last, you know, federal election. 0.98

00:01:47.680 Anyway, enough of this crap. 0.99

00:01:50.300 Just like what I said, who the hell cares? 0.99

00:01:52.120 Honestly, who really cares?

00:01:54.060 If you like and hear what you see, ladies and gentlemen, please click like and subscribe.

00:01:56.920 Share this content on all of your social media platforms, too.

00:01:59.700 I'm going to start loading the videos of my Podbean account there as well, you know.

00:02:04.360 So, that way, thank you, thank you.

00:02:07.960 That way my fans in the United States can see the videos, too.

00:02:10.880 I find I get more downloads from my Podbean app when they actually see the video rather than just the podcast.

00:02:17.380 So, I'm going to start doing that.

00:02:18.360 Load it all in one big lump sum so you can see my wonderful mug, my wonderful Canadiana mug here of, like, playing Canadian politics to the whole world.

00:02:26.360 Yes, that's right.

00:02:27.560 So, anyway, carrying on with Tuesday rant.

00:02:31.260 Yeah, Sophie JT, separation or divorce?

00:02:33.100 Now, personally, I don't care.

00:02:34.840 I am a child of divorce, ladies and gentlemen.

00:02:37.320 I am a child of divorce.

00:02:40.880 It happened many moons ago, so I'm not worried about it.

00:02:46.020 And regardless of how painful and confusing it can be for any young boy or young girl, okay, you overcome it.

00:02:54.020 Now, I've seen rants and raves all over the Twitter feed, all over some other social media feeds in regards to Justin's privacy and Sophie's privacy and all that good stuff.

00:03:06.040 But here's a question, though.

00:03:07.780 Here's a few questions in regards to that.

00:03:10.160 Now, how was privacy looked after?

00:03:14.320 How was our privacy looked after?

00:03:16.300 How were people's privacy looked after during the convoy?

00:03:19.680 Okay, something to think about there.

00:03:22.240 How many people had their bank account information displayed for certain officials and government officials to see in the name of safety?

00:03:31.120 How many people had their bank accounts frozen because of projection, because of projection, because of false assumptions in the name of safety? 0.82

00:03:44.400 Because certain people were deemed as terrorists or certain people were deemed as ruffians and miscrevents and all that good stuff and all those big, fancy fucking legal bud words. 0.64

00:03:55.260 When it came down to the simple fact that there were people that gave $20, $50, $100, a few here and there, a few in there, in support of this convoy.

00:04:05.420 Okay, how many of those people's privacy were violated in the name of safety?

00:04:12.700 Now, to all the Twitter fools out there that have backed up Justin Trudeau and all of his claims about prosperity and democracy and getting the credit rating up and where our inflation is super low, let us remind those individuals, too, that gasoline is still up.

00:04:28.960 Home heating and cooling is still up, and groceries and everything we take for granted in our daily lives is up, too. 0.99

00:04:37.400 So, no matter how much you want to butter that poop sandwich and call it a croissant, it's still a fucking poop sandwich, eh? 0.98

00:04:45.540 Right? 0.99

00:04:46.340 Now, I'm not going to sit here and do the whole he said, she said.

00:04:50.160 There's probably problems that are happening with the Trudeaus well before he got into politics.

00:04:54.480 You look at the history of Pierre Elliott Trudeau before he married Margaret.

00:04:59.820 Okay?

00:05:00.480 What kind of guy was he?

00:05:02.300 Apparently, he married or he didn't marry.

00:05:04.240 He dated Barbra Streisand for the better part of a year or two years, I think.

00:05:08.100 So, Babs Streisand, okay, was actually with a Canadian politician back in the late 60s.

00:05:14.900 Self-explanatory.

00:05:16.720 Who knows?

00:05:17.340 Swing in 60s, what was going on behind closed doors then.

00:05:20.080 But then again, it wasn't really made public either.

00:05:22.620 Now, I personally don't care what happens to Justin Trudeau.

00:05:25.900 No, I don't.

00:05:27.180 Because I have lost a lot of respect.

00:05:30.020 Well, sorry to be blunt.

00:05:31.900 I have no respect for the liberal brand right now.

00:05:34.760 Because the liberal party of Canada has done more to hurt itself and hurt this country than ever.

00:05:42.340 And regardless of how you dress up the economic outlook and how they fail to pay attention to monetary policy, they have put us into debt.

00:05:52.660 They've embarrassed us and our NATO allies.

00:05:55.180 They've embarrassed the working class Canadian.

00:05:58.060 They've thrown Canadians in jail because of mischief, right? 0.92

00:06:03.480 And they've lied to us on a daily basis, okay?

00:06:06.960 Now, this whole thing that's going on with Meta and going on with Google, the whole wishwash and BS of bills C11, C18, and C36, okay, what have they promoted other than more and more people have to pay their fair share?

00:06:27.920 What exactly is the fair share you're looking for?

00:06:32.340 Because back in 2021, before the last federal election, the Liberal Party of Canada under Justin Trudeau and his little cronies of know-it-all gave the mainstream media roughly $595 million.

00:06:47.440 So let's round it off to about $600 million to keep certain programs and certain affiliates afloat, okay?

00:06:55.380 Now, my good friends at Northern Perspective has said and put this out in the recent videos, 20 years ago, the mainstream media in this country was warned about online activity, meaning that people are going to go more online.

00:07:08.260 They're not going to go buy some new papers.

00:07:09.580 They're not going to buy some new magazines.

00:07:11.000 They're not going to buy this, buy that, buy the actual copies of newsprint that we used to see as kids.

00:07:15.920 They're just going to go online and see it.

00:07:18.040 So they better adjust and modernize to keep it into the game.

00:07:23.180 So when it comes to this whole Google and Meta have to pay their fair share, what exactly is their fair share?

00:07:31.060 And I'm going to use Fox's example from her video.

00:07:34.180 It was just, it's common sense, really.

00:07:37.020 That'd be like me writing an article or writing a book, okay, going to Canada Post and then mailing it out to my family and friends and whoever else is on my mailing list.

00:07:46.740 And then demanding Canada Post pay me for that.

00:07:51.000 That's the government's logic.

00:07:53.140 Now, to you media moguls out there who happen to be watching this podcast, which I doubt, you know, to these individuals that expect something for nothing. 0.99

00:08:02.760 Wake the fuck up. 0.98

00:08:03.840 Now, regardless of all the censorship that's been going on with the bigger tech firms and the smaller tech firms and now the bigger governments and the smaller governments, okay, head out of ass and focus on what's real. 0.99

00:08:17.980 All this squabbling about people paying their fair share.

00:08:21.940 I'd like to know exactly what you're paying.

00:08:26.580 What fair share are you paying?

00:08:29.220 Okay.

00:08:29.800 To all the squawkers and whiners out there, what exactly are you paying?

00:08:33.740 Or you expect to get paid for nothing.

00:08:35.860 Stay updated and follow Krusty Canuck on Facebook, Twitter, Gap, Telegram, YouTube, and Podbean.

00:08:47.960 We're back with the Tuesday rant, ladies and gentlemen, episode 221.

00:08:56.180 Sophie and JT separation, divorce, pink shirts, and more Barbie BS, privacy and contradictions.

00:09:01.000 Anyway, carrying on the whole divorce thing, who cares?

00:09:04.520 Who cares?

00:09:05.420 You know, people get married, people get divorced.

00:09:07.480 Okay.

00:09:07.720 I'm a firm believer that if you're going to get married the first time, you do your damnedest beyond your college tribe, above and beyond for your partner, regardless of how many flaws you have, how many flaws she has, or he has, or they have, or whatever abbreviation you want to use.

00:09:29.420 Okay.

00:09:29.980 I married my wife for a very good reason, because I believe in her.

00:09:34.380 Right. 0.99

00:09:34.820 She's got the best fucking heart that any woman can carry. 0.99

00:09:40.600 She's so loving. 0.99

00:09:41.640 She's so caring.

00:09:43.440 And when she's pissed off, she knows what she's pissed off about.

00:09:46.980 When she's mad, she knows what she's mad about.

00:09:49.840 She doesn't speculate.

00:09:51.440 She doesn't over-dramatize.

00:09:52.900 She doesn't lie to people.

00:09:54.580 She treats people good.

00:09:56.520 She treats people very well.

00:09:59.340 And that's one of the reasons why I love her.

00:10:00.840 And there's times where I've made mistakes.

00:10:03.220 There's times where she's made mistakes.

00:10:04.820 But guess what?

00:10:06.340 We're still here.

00:10:08.000 We're still giving it a go.

00:10:09.060 Why?

00:10:09.560 Because we believe in each other.

00:10:11.760 We both come from a blue-collar background.

00:10:14.500 We've had our knocks given to us.

00:10:17.460 And we've had our victories earned.

00:10:20.920 So, she's a keeper.

00:10:23.660 And I also find with certain marriages today that there's a giant list of expectations every time somebody gets married and what they expect to do or expect to have.

00:10:34.480 You've got to work at it.

00:10:37.860 That's what you've got to do.

00:10:38.900 And it's not about money. 0.98

00:10:41.620 It's not about mind-blowing orgasmic sex.

00:10:44.820 It's about getting along and working together as a team, as a couple, as friends.

00:10:51.680 We don't see a lot of that.

00:10:54.400 Excuse me.

00:10:55.620 We don't see a lot of people putting emphasis on the friendship part or building that foundation.

00:11:02.980 We see expectations.

00:11:04.360 Now, regardless of what goes behind closed doors of Joseph or Justin, whatever his name is.

00:11:10.900 I just lost control.

00:11:12.460 The man's just bleh.

00:11:14.920 Anyhow, who cares?

00:11:17.160 Honestly, who cares?

00:11:18.600 Because if the man can't handle his marriage, how can he really handle the country?

00:11:23.300 But then the proof is in the pudding, too.

00:11:25.020 How has he handled things in this country in a national and global effort?

00:11:29.480 Hasn't done too well, has he?

00:11:31.760 You know?

00:11:34.360 He's lied to the Canadian populace.

00:11:36.820 How much money was his wife being paid from the We Foundation for speaking engagements? 0.96

00:11:42.100 Now, I'm sure maybe Sophie's a nice lady in her own right, too. 0.57

00:11:44.900 But they both come from a spoon-fed culture where everything has been given to them, handed to them. 0.74

00:11:51.140 Privately educated.

00:11:53.180 Privately tutored.

00:11:55.140 Privately pleasured.

00:11:56.060 Who knows what goes behind the closed doors of some of these elite officials. 0.99

00:12:00.020 But who the fuck cares? 0.99

00:12:03.140 Okay? 0.99

00:12:03.300 Now, all these individuals that are holding on to their pearls saying, you just leave Justin alone and respect his privacy.

00:12:10.400 I'll remind them again.

00:12:12.060 How did the federal government respect people's privacy when it came to the convoy?

00:12:18.080 The jibby-jabs? 0.99

00:12:19.840 The mandates?

00:12:21.900 Right?

00:12:22.040 How about those 300 troops that were dismissed from the military because they refused the jibby-jabs? 1.00

00:12:28.900 How was their privacy respected? 0.98

00:12:31.480 And yet you have the goddamn audacity to whip the Prime Minister's feelings? 0.99

00:12:36.080 Especially when that man, and probably his wife, didn't really give two shits about our feelings. 0.99

00:12:42.460 Hmm. 0.99

00:12:42.920 Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

00:12:44.800 Stay updated.

00:13:12.180 Like I said, from now on, I'm going to start loading this podcast.

00:13:14.540 The video is on all my podcast channels.

00:13:16.840 So if you like and hear what you see, give me a thumbs up, give me a like, give me a comment or two, and subscribe if you can, right?

00:13:23.480 So if I remind you guys too, you're all wonderful out there, especially my new American listeners too.

00:13:28.500 You guys rock.

00:13:29.380 You guys are awesome.

00:13:30.640 Anyway, carry on again with this episode.

00:13:32.760 So I'm just, I don't care.

00:13:36.280 Honestly, ladies and gentlemen, I don't care who gets divorced, who gets married. 1.00

00:13:39.500 If you get divorced because you have a partner that cheats on you, then you kick her ass or kick his ass to the curb. 1.00

00:13:45.380 Whatever. 1.00

00:13:46.500 Okay?

00:13:46.840 The trick is, is not to be vindictive or to be jealous. 0.99

00:13:50.500 Yeah, it sucks. 0.96

00:13:52.260 I've had my heart broken. 0.99

00:13:53.860 You've had your heart broken.

00:13:56.080 I've been dumped before.

00:13:57.340 I know what it feels like.

00:13:58.240 And I've actually had partners cheat on me before too, right?

00:14:02.500 So I know what it feels like when you get that knife in the gut and that churning and that insensitive response to the pain.

00:14:10.560 But when you meet somebody like my wife, she can give you a hand.

00:14:14.900 And I've given her a hand too.

00:14:17.220 So back and forth.

00:14:18.380 And the only thing that's in our way is ourselves.

00:14:24.040 But we're going to make it go with it.

00:14:27.280 We want to get it right this time.

00:14:29.380 We don't have to wait another 15 years or 16 years or 20 years.

00:14:33.380 We want to get it right now.

00:14:35.660 So that's what we do.

00:14:37.860 Enough of this drama here too.

00:14:40.040 So pink shirts and more Barbie BS.

00:14:41.720 Privacy and contradictions after I've talked about that divorce.

00:14:44.280 So pink shirt issue too.

00:14:46.120 There's a big stink on Twitter about Justin taking his son to the Barbie movie.

00:14:50.660 They're wearing pink shirts.

00:14:51.520 And they say Team Barbie.

00:14:53.240 Well, who cares?

00:14:55.120 Honestly, who really cares?

00:14:57.640 Does it really matter if the old man wants to take his son to a flick?

00:15:00.540 Now, I personally wouldn't take my nephew to see Barbie.

00:15:03.180 I'd sooner take my nephew to see Sound of Freedom or something a little more substantial.

00:15:09.640 I don't want a whole woke story based on a toy company or a toy line that's been famous in the past 60 years. 0.99

00:15:15.820 Who the fuck cares? 0.99

00:15:17.000 Hey, honestly, who the fuck cares? 1.00

00:15:19.300 Who cares about the whole Barbie franchise, whatever? 0.98

00:15:22.480 It made Mattel a lot of money, put Mattel on the map in the toy market.

00:15:26.140 But I don't care.

00:15:28.620 Who cares if Justin took his kid to a movie?

00:15:30.800 But if you're going to sit there and say respect the Prime Minister's privacy,

00:15:33.720 then why is the Prime Minister showing a picture of him and his son going to see Barbie?

00:15:41.680 You know, I just, I don't know.

00:15:43.560 You decide.

00:15:44.220 But I just, who cares?

00:15:45.880 Right?

00:15:46.200 Who cares about pink shirts? 0.92

00:15:47.420 I personally don't like the color pink on myself.

00:15:50.880 Not a big pink fan.

00:15:52.560 But I think pink looks adorable on certain ladies. 1.00

00:15:55.600 Looks good on little kids.

00:15:57.560 It's like, oh, that's cute.

00:15:58.380 That's adorable.

00:15:59.200 Oh, isn't that?

00:15:59.840 It's nice.

00:16:00.420 That's beautiful.

00:16:01.440 Yeah.

00:16:01.760 But I personally don't like pink.

00:16:03.420 But I don't care who does or who doesn't.

00:16:05.860 And the people out there that are constantly Twittering and commenting on it.

00:16:10.420 Get a life! 1.00

00:16:11.180 Who the fuck cares? 1.00

00:16:15.040 Honestly. 1.00

00:16:15.860 Who cares?

00:16:17.280 And that's your biggest concern based on what's going on in this country right now with carbon taxes and all these people that are talking about climate emergencies and all this.

00:16:24.400 Oh, my God.

00:16:24.960 Where the world's going to die? 0.99

00:16:26.000 All you fucking worry about is the guy wearing a pink shirt or the prime minister taking his kid out to a movie. 0.99

00:16:31.280 Who cares? 0.99

00:16:32.640 Who cares?

00:16:33.560 I have no intention whatsoever to take my wife to see Barbie.

00:16:37.480 And she's never even asked about it.

00:16:39.260 She doesn't look too impressed about it.

00:16:41.080 But who cares?

00:16:42.580 Honestly.

00:16:43.660 There are other things in this country to worry about that are going on right under our noses here.

00:16:48.660 Rather than worry about the prime minister taking a thun out to a good movie. 0.99

00:16:52.240 Who the fuck cares? 0.99

00:16:54.220 Honestly. 0.99

00:16:54.700 I mean, really.

00:16:55.680 Stay updated.

00:17:07.180 Anyhow, moving on from the whole Barbie BS.

00:17:12.300 It's just, when you look at all these movies that are coming out that are winning hearts and minds,

00:17:17.460 you have to keep in mind the whole what they call the paradigm programming.

00:17:21.040 Where they instill values into you as you watch and eat your candy and drink your throat as their palm.

00:17:28.400 And go, oh, what a great movie.

00:17:30.260 And you're getting these little messages here, too.

00:17:31.980 So, now, from what I've understood about the whole Barbie movie, it's about a whole woke mandate where, you know,

00:17:37.900 the patriarchy is so evil.

00:17:39.740 And we've got to stop the patriarchy all over.

00:17:42.120 Like, come on.

00:17:43.520 Come on.

00:17:44.260 Enough.

00:17:45.620 Enough of the patriarchy BS.

00:17:48.560 Okay?

00:17:50.020 No one's denying any women a job.

00:17:51.960 No one's denying any woman the opportunity to go and to aim high to the best of her ability.

00:17:57.800 It all comes down to choices and how you choose.

00:18:01.300 Okay?

00:18:02.240 It's that simple.

00:18:03.740 And a part of being an adult is you accept the decisions you make and you accept the actions you have taken or not taken in your life.

00:18:10.800 And you do what you possibly can to make it better for yourself. 0.87

00:18:15.840 And if you've got friends that can back you up, all the fucking power to you. 0.97

00:18:19.980 So, I'm going to leave that Barbie thing alone. 0.98

00:18:21.240 I just – honestly, folks, I really don't give a shit about the whole – about the whole – the concept of the woke mandates. 0.91

00:18:29.500 Regardless of how much money that movie has made, I'm just – I don't care. 0.94

00:18:35.040 I don't care.

00:18:35.500 Ah, now that's off my chest.

00:18:39.680 Okay.

00:18:40.160 Carry on, anyway, with the Tuesday rant, episode 221.

00:18:44.680 That's right, ladies and gentlemen.

00:18:46.680 Now, privacy and contradictions.

00:18:48.020 So, like I mentioned earlier about the whole privacy thing, too.

00:18:50.080 Now, with all these bills that have come to surface in the name of democracy and protecting a little guy and being free, do you honestly think that the federal government is really, really going to respect our privacy after I just mentioned about the convoy? 0.90

00:19:04.400 If they have the power to look at your bank accounts and dictate what you owe and how much you should pay and how much they can freeze on you, does it really give a shit about your privacy? 0.92

00:19:13.500 Do they give a shit about my privacy or anyone's privacy for that matter? 0.98

00:19:16.800 Right? 0.98

00:19:17.700 So, as I say again, if the prime minister is willing to promote him and his son going out to a movie and put it online, he's not too upset about his own privacy now, is he?

00:19:30.220 No, because he has a lot of handlers and backbenchers and slap and ticklers. 0.77

00:19:34.160 You know, slap and tickle for your pickle. 1.00

00:19:37.560 That will look after his sorry ass if anything happens. 0.99

00:19:41.260 So, when it comes down to it, again, who cares? 0.99

00:19:45.960 But what I care about is that my wife's privacy is looked after, mine, yours. 0.99

00:19:50.680 Now, everybody out there in the Krusty Canuck fan base world, everybody out there on the internet has your privacy looked after.

00:19:57.380 And we pay some good money for decent services to do that.

00:20:00.820 Now, if the federal government can take it upon themselves to raid your bank account, how else can they raid right here?

00:20:07.900 Are they looking at me right now through my camera?

00:20:12.440 Right?

00:20:14.200 I've had some phishing attempts.

00:20:15.600 I've had some hack attempts.

00:20:16.740 But luckily, I put the thumb on them pretty quickly.

00:20:19.600 But needless to say, ladies and gentlemen, it puts something in perspective.

00:20:24.440 It gives you something to think about.

00:20:26.820 Right?

00:20:27.020 As far as I'm concerned, we all have a right to privacy.

00:20:31.120 We all have a right to express ourselves accordingly without hitting people and taking their stuff.

00:20:37.320 Right?

00:20:37.480 Basic liberty at its finest.

00:20:39.820 You know, fight the power.

00:20:41.080 That's overwhelming.

00:20:42.480 But treat people with respect and courtesy and dignity to the best of your ability.

00:20:46.920 Right?

00:20:47.900 I believe in democracy and freedom for all.

00:20:51.140 Right?

00:20:51.420 However you want to live your life. 0.99

00:20:52.700 I don't care if you're gay. 1.00

00:20:53.780 I don't care if you're straight. 0.99

00:20:54.700 I don't care if you're bi or tri or pansexual. 1.00

00:20:57.800 I still fucking hate that term, pansexual. 1.00

00:21:00.420 Why don't you just say you're bi. 1.00

00:21:01.880 You like it both ways.

00:21:03.140 Like Burger King.

00:21:03.920 Right?

00:21:04.420 You like it both ways.

00:21:05.560 Ho, ho, ho. 0.99

00:21:07.140 Without having to get all fancy because you're some kind of nouveau critique or something you and she can bring.

00:21:13.360 You like it both ways. 0.99

00:21:15.120 Shit simple. 1.00

00:21:16.420 Right? 1.00

00:21:17.700 But I don't care what color you are. 0.95

00:21:19.440 I don't care what your religion is. 0.99

00:21:20.940 I don't care how you praise whatever God.

00:21:23.420 I don't care what you worship, what you do.

00:21:26.520 Just don't hit people and take their stuff.

00:21:29.100 That includes their jobs.

00:21:30.520 That includes their relationships.

00:21:32.240 That includes their online presence too if they have any.

00:21:35.620 Or if they want to go out in the online world and say hello like I am.

00:21:38.860 Oh, go figure.

00:21:39.740 Right?

00:21:40.120 Interesting.

00:21:45.020 Right?

00:21:45.820 But just keep it simple.

00:21:47.800 Life can be simple.

00:21:49.860 And I don't mean simple like as in slow.

00:21:52.020 I can't figure this out for myself.

00:21:53.860 I mean simple as in where it's not a chore and you're not stressing out every day of the week.

00:21:58.720 Okay?

00:21:59.600 Treat people the way you want to be treated.

00:22:01.140 It's that simple.

00:22:01.940 Oh, I said that again.

00:22:03.920 You know what I mean?

00:22:04.560 There.

00:22:05.420 Exactly.

00:22:06.260 I said that again. 0.99

00:22:08.160 But when we see all of this bantering over a shirt or a fucking movie. 0.97

00:22:14.780 We're missing the point that we have leaders in this country that have taken the summer off and they're bragging about a lower deficit or a lower inflation rate. 0.97

00:22:24.460 Yet there's still people out of work.

00:22:26.800 People still struggling to get groceries.

00:22:29.280 People still struggling all together.

00:22:31.000 All because of these leaders' decisions.

00:22:33.600 And yet the people that back up these leaders, they obviously are not struggling themselves.

00:22:38.220 Or they're telling themselves, well, I voted for this guy and I really, really like him.

00:22:41.500 But, you know, I'm having a hard time paying my bills this month.

00:22:44.580 Just go along to get along.

00:22:45.900 Right? 0.93

00:22:47.120 The Canadian arrogance at its finest.

00:22:49.280 We'll just go along to get along.

00:22:50.880 We'll just go along to just to be nice.

00:22:53.900 Because, you know, we're nice people.

00:22:55.540 Yeah, we are nice people.

00:22:56.520 We're very polite.

00:22:58.020 You know, call it the North American adage where we learn the American culture and we have the inherent British culture.

00:23:03.240 Or the British and French culture, the European culture, where you must show your manners at the table and you get yourself a smack upside the head.

00:23:10.740 Where you must say please and thank you or you get a smack upside the head.

00:23:14.060 So in that way we're conditioned.

00:23:16.620 Right?

00:23:17.860 But I'm not sitting there saying, you know, if you're at your friend's dinner table and he or she burps, I'm not saying you go cuff him upside the head.

00:23:24.940 That'd be kind of funny, though, but I would do that.

00:23:27.260 But I think you know what I'm getting at here, those gentlemen.

00:23:29.140 You know, enough of this deflection.

00:23:34.780 We're going to keep finding the truth.

00:23:36.560 Okay? 0.98

00:23:38.780 We're going to keep finding the truth in regards to all this garbage going on. 0.98

00:23:42.660 Right? 0.93

00:23:43.200 I can sit here and be angry about it all day, but no, I had a pretty good day.

00:23:46.440 I had a short day at work, thankfully.

00:23:48.700 But I'm not looking forward to having short days at work all the time.

00:23:51.160 It's just the way the economy is going.

00:23:53.300 You know, if there's not enough work for me to do at my job, then I get sent home.

00:23:57.460 So, okay.

00:23:59.660 But needless to say, try to keep busy.

00:24:01.880 Try to keep positive.

00:24:02.720 Try to be focused.

00:24:04.180 Focus on your marriage.

00:24:06.300 Focus on your kids.

00:24:08.220 Right?

00:24:10.140 Focus on your dreams that are going to be beneficial for you and your family, if need be.

00:24:15.500 Don't put your family on hold for your dreams.

00:24:18.780 Don't ever do that.

00:24:20.200 That can be very painful.

00:24:21.680 Trust me, I know.

00:24:23.400 Don't put anybody on hold for your dreams.

00:24:25.540 Trust me.

00:24:27.020 Right?

00:24:28.100 If they love you, they will back you up.

00:24:30.460 If they believe in you, they'll back you up.

00:24:32.740 It's that simple.

00:24:34.140 If they don't believe in you, well, you've got to believe in yourself and work that extra hard.

00:24:37.460 Or work a little bit harder.

00:24:39.840 And that's got anything to do with race.

00:24:41.200 That's got anything to do with gender. 1.00

00:24:43.000 Or your feelings.

00:24:44.100 It's about the way things are for some people.

00:24:47.580 Right?

00:24:48.100 That's the thing.

00:24:50.300 And we've just got to do better.

00:24:51.380 Question the carbon taxes.

00:24:54.940 Question what's going on with this whole climate emergency BS2.

00:24:58.140 People are constantly saying, oh, the fires in Greece.

00:25:00.260 Well, apparently, they have found individuals that set those fires in Greece.

00:25:05.320 Just like how they found individuals in Vancouver Island that were setting fires.

00:25:08.780 And how our premier here in Alberta, Daniel Smith, is actually putting together a proper arson investigation team to figure out why all these fires just come out of nowhere.

00:25:17.900 Because you and I both know, ladies and gentlemen, wood, deadfall, doesn't spontaneously combust.

00:25:24.120 Yes, there is carelessness out there.

00:25:26.600 Yes, there are people out there that have set fires.

00:25:29.840 Right?

00:25:30.320 So you've got to find those culprits and punish them accordingly.

00:25:33.720 But I'm not going to sit on my hands and panic and say the sky is falling when it's not.

00:25:37.840 Yeah, July was pretty hot.

00:25:41.060 Maybe it's a lesson.

00:25:43.000 Maybe it isn't.

00:25:43.860 I don't know.

00:25:44.280 But I'm not going to panic and worry about it.

00:25:45.760 And neither should you, ladies and gentlemen.

00:25:47.900 Right?

00:25:48.780 Neither should you.

00:25:49.600 Neither should anybody.

00:25:50.640 Because there's a lot of parts of this country that have seen record temperatures in the summer and record temperatures in the winter.

00:25:57.960 So you've got the best of both worlds. 0.98

00:26:00.020 You've got some great, hot, sexy summers and some cold, nasty fucking winters. 0.99

00:26:04.340 But who am I? 0.99

00:26:06.300 I'm not a climatologist.

00:26:07.900 I'm not a scientist.

00:26:09.520 What is a woman? 1.00

00:26:10.720 What is a man?

00:26:11.920 What does this all mean?

00:26:13.680 I can ramble on and on about that.

00:26:16.120 But who cares?

00:26:16.720 Like I said, you know, this has been episode 221 of the Pressing Up podcast.

00:26:22.360 Sophie and JT separation, divorce, pink shirts, and more Barbie BS.

00:26:27.800 And privacy and contradictions.

00:26:29.920 So it's up to you to protect your privacy.

00:26:32.020 Work a bit harder to do it.

00:26:33.440 You and your partner, your wife, your girlfriend, boyfriend, whoever you lie with.

00:26:37.840 Okay?

00:26:38.180 It's up to you to or up yourself as an individual to make it happen.

00:26:41.780 I protect my privacy to the best of my ability.

00:26:43.380 And I inquire.

00:26:45.160 And I should talk to some online experts in the field.

00:26:48.020 And they've recommended certain softwares and all that too.

00:26:49.920 I can't mention the name because I don't have permission to.

00:26:52.300 But needless to say, there are things out there that can help you protect your privacy.

00:26:57.220 And people out there that can help you do it too.

00:26:59.500 Especially when it comes to protesting.

00:27:01.120 Expressing yourself as we should.

00:27:02.360 And we look at bills C-11, C-18, and C-36.

00:27:06.020 That is going to stifle my expression, your expression, your friend's expression, and so on and so on and so on.

00:27:13.080 Because the government thinks they can monopolize in everything we say.

00:27:16.240 And they'll dictate what is Canadian content, what isn't Canadian content.

00:27:19.540 Well, you decide, ladies and gentlemen.

00:27:21.720 You know, is wearing this maple leaf in my head?

00:27:23.900 Serving my country for 20 years and having all these flags behind me?

00:27:26.680 Is it not Canadian enough?

00:27:28.380 Am I not Canadian enough for you?

00:27:31.180 No, it doesn't matter.

00:27:32.980 Everyone has the right to express themselves as far as I'm concerned.

00:27:36.180 And so should you.

00:27:37.680 Express yourself the best of your abilities just without hurting people and taking their stuff.

00:27:41.860 It's that simple.

00:27:43.440 Any, ladies and gentlemen, I am in Krusty Canuck on this Tuesday rant for 8th of August, 2023.

00:27:49.260 I wish nothing but good things for you as all.

00:27:51.720 I wish the best.

00:27:53.160 Like I said, the weather is still getting warmer out here.

00:27:55.200 Especially in my area too.

00:27:57.100 So hydrate.

00:27:57.980 Look after yourselves.

00:27:59.660 You know, try to do your best to eat right.

00:28:01.360 And try to keep your chin up.

00:28:03.320 I know it's a bit of a cliche.

00:28:05.480 But there are some trying times coming.

00:28:09.520 And like I say, we might be on the cusp of World War III.

00:28:12.640 As much as I hate to say it, but it looks to be a reality.

00:28:18.480 And when we look at these leaders who don't really give a crap about our services or our men and women that are willing to fight and die for this country, then it's up to you and I, ladies and gentlemen, you, your friends, your loved ones, my friends, my loved ones, and fellow veterans alike, to keep things afloat to the best of our abilities. 0.99

00:28:37.300 Even though some of us, even though some of us, even though some of us, we get ignored, tossed aside like we're nothing, oh, you've done your part for your country, you've done this, okay, you carry on, shut up, all that other good shit. 0.99

00:28:48.300 We will not shut up. 0.99

00:28:50.080 We will not be quiet.

00:28:51.460 We will not lie down.

00:28:53.100 I will not wait for glory.

00:28:57.420 We won't.

00:28:58.640 And neither should you.

00:28:59.320 Like I say, ladies and gentlemen, I have been Krusty Kinnock on this beautiful 8th of August, 2023.

00:29:06.160 Like I say, I wish nothing but good things for you all out there.

00:29:08.760 And do what you can to help with you in these trying times.

00:29:11.260 Like I say, keep your chin up.

00:29:13.140 Well, do some notable charity things.

00:29:14.760 Give to a food bank if you can.

00:29:16.360 Give some of your time to those less fortunate.

00:29:20.180 And just try to be a good, good human being.

00:29:24.100 And like I always say, ladies and gentlemen, humanity and merit wins the day.

00:29:28.020 Take care, and I'll probably see you Saturday.

00:29:30.660 Bye for now.

00:29:34.940 Hit it, sweetheart. 1.00

00:29:37.200 Because I am hard, you will not like me.

00:29:39.960 Yes, sir.

00:29:43.580 There is no racial bigotry here.

00:29:48.300 There you are all equally working.

00:29:52.600 This has been another episode of the Krusty Kinnock podcast.

00:29:56.080 Stay sane.

00:29:57.300 And thank you for listening.

00:29:58.780 From Western Canada, this is the Krusty Kinnock podcast.
