00:01:19.100 I am your host, Krusty Canuck.
00:01:21.060 Yes, it's a beautiful day out in the world as we see it today. 0.91
00:01:24.480 But with more political BS and Feldergarb and other garbage, we kind of lose focus on what's real.

00:01:54.980 One round of applause for you all.
00:01:57.000 There you go.
00:01:57.540 You guys are awesome.
00:01:58.880 And thank you all for subscribing and your beautiful comments.
00:02:02.100 And later in the episode, I will have a special Upper Canada, or not Upper Canada, Canadian 0.97
00:02:07.920 Polar Vortex of bullshit coming your way. 0.96
00:02:10.800 So like the title card says, ladies and gentlemen, PM Trudeau's stance against Meta, 0.99
00:02:15.920 and Democracy, former MP Catherine McKenna's foolish tweet, and Deputy PM Freeland's speech
00:02:20.900 to university grads.
00:02:22.180 That's right.
00:02:23.040 We'll start with the prime minister and his infinite wisdom, of course, too.
00:02:26.440 It's been a big huff recently, especially with the fires going on in Hawaii.
00:02:30.260 My condolences to the poor people of Hawaii, trying to sort out their environmental catastrophes
00:02:35.200 and their management catastrophes, too, from what I hear.
00:02:38.120 And to the people of Kelowna, BC, we've all seen the footage.
00:02:42.280 Ladies and gentlemen, ramping fires. 1.00
00:02:44.080 It's like something out of a bad sci-fi movie.
00:02:45.640 It's kind of scary.
00:02:47.020 But you have to ask yourself this, though, ladies and gentlemen.
00:02:50.620 Honestly, with all these fires that have been going around since mid-June, does it not seem
00:02:56.300 a little coincidental, really?
00:03:00.840 Does it not seem coincidental that all these fires are popping up?
00:03:04.520 And then, you know, people have to worry about the climate.
00:03:09.360 It happened in Spain recently.
00:03:10.560 It happened in Greece there back in July.
00:03:12.700 And now it's happening in Kelowna again, northern BC, parts of Alberta, too.
00:03:16.600 And apparently in Northwest Territories now, too.
00:03:18.780 They've arrested, apparently, four arsonists.
00:03:21.820 Four of them.
00:03:22.460 So what's that tell you?
00:03:25.960 Is it the fact that so-called dry grass and deadfalls spontaneously combust?
00:03:30.660 Well, these politicians and our leaders would like you to believe that.
00:03:33.840 Keep pushing the climate change, climate change agenda over and over again.
00:03:37.240 I know things are getting dry.
00:03:39.300 We've had a pretty dry summer.
00:03:40.920 In fact, I remember a few summers being pretty dry and hot.
00:03:43.880 That's why it's called summer.
00:03:45.020 So you can get all these experts together who want to advocate this and advocate that
00:03:51.160 and demand this and demand that.
00:03:53.400 What it comes down to is that all these taxes we're paying
00:03:56.660 is to line their pockets for the sake of their Green New Deal ideology.
00:04:00.920 And that's all it is, an ideology.
00:04:03.200 It has nothing to do with saving your life or my life or my neighbor's life
00:04:07.760 or my wife's life or nieces and nephews, yous and yours.
00:04:11.720 No, it's a con.
00:04:13.200 How else do I say it?
00:04:17.700 It's devastating what's going on with people.
00:04:20.660 People deserve their homes destroyed.
00:04:22.180 People don't deserve their land destroyed.
00:04:24.100 Nobody deserves that kind of treatment whatsoever.
00:04:28.120 It's just, it seems though that everything is happening too quickly
00:04:32.320 for the sake of promoting an agenda.
00:04:35.800 So like the title of Carl says, ladies and gentlemen, you know,
00:04:38.880 PM Trudeau's stance against the meta people, people who own people.
00:04:41.600 And there's stance against democracy, apparently.
00:04:45.840 I'll just queue up the video for you.
00:04:47.380 I got it for my Twitter feed there.
00:04:48.920 PM there on the CPAC channel, Canadian Public Access channel
00:04:52.000 for my American friends up there.
00:04:54.060 It's similar to yours, your CPAC kind of thing. 0.99
00:04:56.340 But just, just some of the garbage that our beloved prime minister 0.96
00:05:02.180 is trying to display for all of us here and for you to understand the impact 0.98
00:05:06.560 and how he really cares.
00:05:08.720 Like, you know, he really cares about you and I,
00:05:10.780 really cares about how we, how we get along.
00:05:14.440 Yeah.
00:05:14.720 Look at the track record.
00:05:15.720 I'll just queue this up for you, ladies and gentlemen.
00:05:17.200 But, uh, it's just, it's just a joke.
00:05:21.400 You know, there's people losing their homes, their livelihoods, uh,
00:05:24.540 from what's been going on here with this, with these fires.
00:05:27.440 And it's not, this is not feasible.
00:05:31.500 How he tries to get on, try how, how he tries to justify 0.97
00:05:36.060 and promote his garbage with this. 0.98
00:05:39.040 Let's just make you this up here. 0.96
00:05:40.500 I'm just having some technical issues here, ladies and gentlemen,
00:05:42.860 but just every time we turn around, well, this is, uh, I'm somebody,
00:05:49.780 I forget her name, but, uh, I'll just play it for you.
00:05:52.280 And then you decide yourselves.
00:05:54.320 Okay.
00:05:55.280 You decide yourselves what he really means.
00:05:58.360 And if there's any sincerity in this at all,
00:06:00.520 because I really don't think there is,
00:06:02.340 I don't think the man has a sincere bone in his body in regards to Canada,
00:06:06.220 uh, to our allies, to, and to anything, uh, whatsoever.
00:06:10.560 I really don't.
00:06:11.480 Uh, I just, I, I really don't think this man really cares about anything
00:06:15.660 other than himself and his agendas.
00:06:19.440 I'll just cue this back here.
00:06:21.140 People have questions.
00:06:22.280 And, uh, we'll start the show.
00:06:24.580 But like I say, ladies and gentlemen, if you like and hear what you see,
00:06:26.300 please click like and subscribe and share this content all over your social media platforms.
00:06:31.400 Uh, do what you can, you know, if you want to donate, please donate.
00:06:35.540 Uh, if you don't want to donate, that's fine too.
00:06:37.700 I'll just cue this up again.
00:06:38.940 I'm just having some issues here with, with all this stuff here.
00:06:42.480 There we go.
00:06:43.360 Yeah.
00:06:43.620 So just cue it up and we'll get ready to rock and roll here.
00:06:47.820 My apologies.
00:06:49.160 Thank you for sticking around though, but, uh, we'll just play it now.
00:06:53.540 And you decide, ladies and gentlemen.
00:06:54.780 Whether they've lost their homes, but, uh, whether they need to evacuate about how things are going.
00:07:01.040 And that's where local news is so important.
00:07:03.540 And the work that, uh, people are doing to share messages and keep people informed with safe,
00:07:09.580 uh, up-to-date information is unbelievably essential to keeping Canadians safe.
00:07:15.780 That's why, and I'm going to make a comment on this.
00:07:20.540 It is so inconceivable that a company like Facebook is choosing to put corporate profits
00:07:29.340 ahead of ensuring that local news organizations can get up-to-date information to Canadians
00:07:37.820 and reach them where Canadians spend a lot of their time, online, on social media, on Facebook.
00:07:47.420 Facebook made billions of dollars in profits over the past years, including off of Canadians.
00:07:56.560 Inconceivable.
00:07:57.280 We recently passed legislation that says, Facebook, if you're going to be sharing news
00:08:03.860 or work done by Canadian journalists or local news, you have to make sure they're compensated
00:08:09.720 for it fairly.
00:08:12.400 Well, instead of making sure that local journalists are fairly paid for keeping Canadians informed
00:08:18.960 on things like wildfires.
00:08:21.240 That's right.
00:08:22.180 Pay your fair share.
00:08:22.840 Facebook is blocking news from its sites.
00:08:26.800 In a larger picture, that's bad for democracy because democracy depends on people being able
00:08:33.260 to trust high-quality journalism of all sorts of different perspectives and points of view.
00:08:40.280 But right now, in an emergency situation...
00:08:44.120 Democracy depends on having a government that they can trust.
00:08:47.820 Democracy depends on people having the power to vote and to speak their minds.
00:08:52.400 Not who's in charge of the technical industry or who puts things online for you to see and to do.
00:09:00.120 Both parties are guilty for censorship.
00:09:03.160 The government, with Bill C-18, C-36, and C-11, and Facebook and Google alike,
00:09:09.500 who have been censoring people in the name of the jibby jab in the last pandan we had.
00:09:15.160 But anyway, I'll carry on.
00:09:16.500 Come on.
00:09:17.360 Democracy?
00:09:18.040 Really?
00:09:19.080 Tell me, Justin.
00:09:19.900 How much democracy have you defended and protected thus far?
00:09:22.820 The situation where up-to-date, local information is more important than ever.
00:09:32.000 Facebook's putting corporate profits ahead of people's safety, ahead of supporting quality local journalism.
00:09:43.060 This is not the time for that.
00:09:44.600 This is the time for Canadians to continue to pull together and be there for each other.
00:09:49.360 But it's time for us to expect more from corporations like Facebook that are making billions of dollars off of Canadians.
00:10:01.020 Yeah.
00:10:02.640 Inconceivable, really.
00:10:04.540 Big words for little man, okay?
00:10:07.120 You know what's inconceivable is that you constantly try to push these agendas.
00:10:10.640 And yet you talk about the fires, you talk about how you're doing these wonderful things,
00:10:16.200 and you never come up with any plan.
00:10:18.140 You're the leader of the country, and you haven't come up with any plan to help these people.
00:10:23.280 In the Northwest Territories in BC or Alberta or anywhere across the country, we've had a disaster.
00:10:28.780 You've toted virtue all the time.
00:10:31.540 Jog on.
00:10:33.180 I've had it with you. 1.00
00:10:34.340 Like, you're just an idiot. 1.00
00:10:37.740 You're a schmuck. 1.00
00:10:38.960 You're a putz. 1.00
00:10:40.320 You're a waste of space. 1.00
00:10:42.360 It's really, really hard for people like myself just to try to gain any kind of respect for you. 0.98
00:10:51.040 You have ruined this democracy. 1.00
00:10:53.960 Your party and your supporters, and you fucking know it. 1.00

00:11:11.660 Hello, ladies and gentlemen.
00:11:12.900 Welcome back.
00:11:13.700 22nd of August, episode 224 of Tuesday Rant, Krusty Canuck podcast.
00:11:18.800 He has Trudeau's stance against meta and democracy.
00:11:21.000 Former MP Catherine McKenna's foolish tweet and deputy PM Freeland's speech to university grads.
00:11:26.080 All that and more coming up shortly.
00:11:29.180 I'm your host, Krusty Canuck.
00:11:30.440 Pardon my emotional outbursts there.
00:11:33.040 You know, I'm just having a moment here because I'm just seeing this buffoonery.
00:11:36.120 And I know you are too, ladies and gentlemen.
00:11:37.660 To my American listeners and my Podbeaners out there, thank you very much for the downloads and the subscriptions.
00:11:42.280 I really, really like it.
00:11:43.520 Thank you.
00:11:43.840 One round of applause for you all there.
00:11:45.560 You guys are awesome.
00:11:46.660 To my new rumblers too.
00:11:48.100 Well done, you guys all.
00:11:49.440 Thank you for the comments.
00:11:50.400 Keep them coming.
00:11:51.020 Keep them coming, going, all that good stuff.
00:11:52.660 But still, with all this crisis going on, it's really, really getting tough to believe anything that these people say.
00:12:01.520 And regardless of what degrees they have, what education they have, they don't know the common people.
00:12:09.440 Okay?
00:12:10.420 They don't know.
00:12:11.360 And that Twitter feed was just lighting up with people saying, oh, my God, climate change.
00:12:15.840 Mom, what are we going to do?
00:12:17.200 How about we live our lives?
00:12:21.220 How about the powers that be?
00:12:23.900 Stay the hell out of our wallets and let us do our own thing, man.
00:12:28.880 You know?
00:12:30.120 Let us do our thing.
00:12:32.680 The oceans aren't going to boil over or melt.
00:12:35.520 The ice caps aren't going to melt.
00:12:36.880 But there's been proof that people have been setting these fires.
00:12:42.120 Okay?
00:12:43.440 Now, what happened in Maui, apparently the electrical system, that hit a lot of long grass.
00:12:49.340 And all that long grass was there because it used to be pineapple and sugarcane used to grow there.
00:12:53.400 But they got rid of that.
00:12:54.980 And they put in an invasive species of grass that grew really, really long, wasn't maintained, and it was dry and it was hot.
00:13:00.700 And it caught fire.
00:13:01.760 But then again, there's also other rumblings, too, on how certain services weren't providing water because of equity and certain services not being here because of this and because of that.
00:13:12.880 And now there's also certain services that are happening in Kelowna where firefighters are getting their gear stolen.
00:13:18.880 So what's going on?
00:13:22.400 Right?
00:13:22.900 Can you say an agenda?
00:13:24.100 I'm pretty sure there's an agenda going on.
00:13:26.400 Right?
00:13:27.100 Government likes the money.
00:13:28.760 Likes the two carbon taxes and everything we use.
00:13:31.460 Plus GST.
00:13:33.000 Plus income tax has gone up, too.
00:13:35.300 Right?
00:13:35.600 And then you get these virtual teetotalers telling us about, oh, if we don't support this, we're this.
00:13:41.200 Or if we don't support that, we're that. 1.00
00:13:43.680 Like, just a total shit show. 0.99
00:13:46.140 Stay updated. 1.00

00:13:57.220 Anyway, I'm back, ladies and gentlemen.
00:14:02.680 Sort of a little bit up there.
00:14:04.060 A little technical issue there, too.
00:14:05.840 Anyway, carrying on with today's episode.
00:14:08.020 Catherine McKenna.
00:14:08.740 Yes, former MP.
00:14:10.540 That's right.
00:14:11.440 Catherine McKenna.
00:14:12.780 Former MP.
00:14:13.760 She was an environmental MP.
00:14:15.500 She was also a darling of the Parliament because, you know, she was a successful lady. 0.99
00:14:20.640 And she's pretty.
00:14:22.020 And she's got a degree in law and all this stuff, too.
00:14:26.160 And all this, whatever.
00:14:27.000 And I remember some of the BS she would promote to the general public.
00:14:31.860 It was rebel media that coined the phrase climate Barbie because she was the environment minister. 0.91
00:14:36.800 And then she became the minister of infrastructure on her last term in office, too.
00:14:41.220 She only ran for six years. 1.00
00:14:43.120 But she she really said some stupid things. 1.00
00:14:47.040 She was caught on this hour. 1.00
00:14:48.420 I was 22 minutes having a few drinks in St.
00:14:50.460 John's, Newfoundland, saying one thing I've learned about being in Parliament is that if you say it loud enough and long enough, people begin to believe you.
00:14:56.860 Right.
00:14:57.900 Didn't Mr. Goebbels from the Nazi Party back in 1939 say the same thing?
00:15:02.280 Yeah, boy.
00:15:03.860 Hmm.
00:15:04.820 Interesting.
00:15:05.560 But I digress.
00:15:07.560 Anyway, Miss McKenna is back in the headlines again.
00:15:10.240 She put out a tweet or an X, whatever you want to call it.
00:15:14.420 I'll still call it Twitter.
00:15:15.560 She put out a tweet there on the 19th, a couple of days back.
00:15:20.820 And what she said about the conservatives.
00:15:23.080 Now, I do support the conservatives to an extent, but not to a point.
00:15:27.520 Where?
00:15:29.960 I would like to see them governing everything that we do, ladies and gentlemen.
00:15:34.480 So this is from the Toronto Sun.
00:15:36.580 And I didn't find her tweet because I really don't really follow her.
00:15:39.200 I'd like to criticize her points of view when I see her pop up once in a while. 1.00
00:15:42.400 And she's just to me, she's an idiot. 1.00
00:15:44.360 So basically, here's an article from Joe Warmington of the Toronto Sun. 1.00
00:15:50.860 Warmington McKenna blames conservative arsonists, quote unquote, for many wildfires. 0.83
00:15:54.360 Now, it's obviously a metaphor, ladies and gentlemen, you know, but it's just just ridiculous.
00:16:01.380 It turns out, Ganda's former environment minister now agrees many forest fires are the result of arson.
00:16:06.280 Interesting.
00:16:06.800 But she has stunned some people when it comes to assigning blame for starting the blazes.
00:16:12.180 She says, you are the arsonist, Catherine McKenna posted on X while singling out conservative politicians.
00:16:18.000 Oops.
00:16:18.700 What happened to climate change?
00:16:20.220 Conservative politicians want to fight about a price on carbon pollution, posted McKenna.
00:16:24.560 Now a chair of a UN net zero.
00:16:26.820 Of course, nice cushy UN job after she leaves politics with a cushy pension. 1.00
00:16:30.500 Hey, OK.
00:16:32.120 You want to make it free to pollute while Canadians pay with their lives threatened, homes destroyed, and their communities obliterated. 0.92
00:16:38.000 So what are you going to do?
00:16:39.520 You are the arsonist.
00:16:40.600 This was her.
00:16:41.520 And I'll leave this link in the description, ladies and gentlemen. 0.94
00:16:44.300 There's the twat waffle herself. 1.00
00:16:47.200 Stating on Twitter on the 19th.
00:16:50.200 Conservative politicians want to fight about a price on carbon pollution.
00:16:53.820 You want to make it free to pollute while Canadians pay with their lives threatened, homes destroyed, and the communities obliterated. 0.93
00:17:00.820 So what are you going to do?
00:17:01.960 You are the arsonist.
00:17:03.620 OK, well, let me tell you something. 1.00
00:17:06.640 You're full of shit, Catherine. 1.00
00:17:08.380 You're full of shit when you're talking about the environment when you got elected. 1.00
00:17:11.380 And you're full of shit about infrastructure. 1.00
00:17:13.340 One more time. 1.00
00:17:14.880 You know, and this is one of my famous sayings.
00:17:16.880 Even when I was running for federal politics back in 2021, this is what I asked my constituents.
00:17:22.140 Where's the money, Catherine?
00:17:26.400 There's also a question of $93 billion, or I think it's $100 billion, gone, that was supposed to be put into the Canadian Infrastructure Bank that you apparently set up, and it's gone.
00:17:37.800 So there's a mystery there.
00:17:38.940 So I don't trust anything you have to say.
00:17:41.060 So talk about fighting fire with fire.
00:17:43.620 But McKenna is known to do that when she comes to those who won't bow to the climate religion she preaches.
00:17:49.320 OK, and there's many pictures of her saying that she rode her bike to work, and she went fishing here.
00:17:54.660 And yet every time she's on a bicycle posing for the camera, she has high heels on. 0.92
00:17:58.680 And when she was fishing in the Northwest Territories, she was sitting there with high heel boots on, casting a line into water.
00:18:05.820 Now, how about you?
00:18:06.520 So, but when I'm fishing on slippery rocks, I don't wear high heel boots.
00:18:11.740 That's just me, though.
00:18:13.120 There's some guys I know who have a preference.
00:18:15.060 But anyway, we'll go for a different aspect of that.
00:18:19.940 And she used to say, too, she has no time for folks who are like, you know, we shouldn't take action, she said on CTV back in 2018.
00:18:26.860 I don't have time for politicians that play cynical games about climate action.
00:18:30.820 Well, what actions do you want?
00:18:32.080 Your party has not presented any kind of viable solution when it comes to green energy, other than the wind and solar frickin' trend.
00:18:41.680 And you and I all know it doesn't work.
00:18:44.540 It might work for one single household or a few households if they're sharing said grid.
00:18:50.580 But you and I both know, too, there's a monopoly in everything we click on and click off in our lives.
00:18:56.100 And you guys have just been taking more of it.
00:18:58.380 You know, I just find her comments just phenomenally ray out of touch.
00:19:05.960 Like, what are you trying to promote?
00:19:07.740 Anyhow, I'm not going to read any more of this article because I just think she's just a total windbag. 1.00
00:19:12.000 And I don't have much to share with her at all.
00:19:15.520 I just, her and Justin, you know, her and Justin, to me, just, wow.
00:19:21.520 And there was a big stink that was made because someone spray-painted the word C-U-N-T on her constituency office back in 2019. 1.00
00:19:29.840 Now, regardless of how professional that may be, I don't care, probably because she deserved it.
00:19:35.420 And she made a big stink about it, about females in politics. 1.00
00:19:38.740 And oh my God, the misogyny and the sexism.
00:19:41.520 She's a virtue signaller and she's a professional victim. 0.96
00:19:44.340 I don't care what her university background is.
00:19:47.140 I don't care what she stands for.
00:19:49.920 Because she's also a member of the WEF.
00:19:53.960 Right?
00:19:58.280 WEF.
00:20:02.220 Think about that.
00:20:04.020 Anyhow, which brings me to the part of the episode that I've been asked to do on a regular basis.
00:20:09.480 So, without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, this week, we have, well, we have a welcoming edition. 0.91
00:20:21.280 The Canadian Polar Vortex of Bullshit. 0.97
00:20:26.780 That's right, ladies and gentlemen. 0.99
00:20:27.960 Back by popular demand. 0.99
00:20:29.480 The Polar Vortex of Bullshit. 0.99
00:20:32.040 Yes, that's right. 1.00
00:20:32.860 And with due consideration and a lot of thought going into the Canadian Polar Vortex of Bullshit, 0.94
00:20:41.980 I have none other than former MP of the Environment, Minister of the Environment and Infrastructure, 0.87
00:20:51.120 Ms. Catherine McKenna.
00:20:52.660 Welcome, Ms. Catherine McKenna.
00:20:54.280 Welcome, welcome, welcome.
00:20:57.580 I'd just like to ask you some personal questions, madam.
00:21:01.120 How do you really feel about winning this prestigious award from the Crusty Neck Podcast?
00:21:08.320 Now, be honest.
00:21:09.400 Don't lie.
00:21:10.480 Don't try to BS me.
00:21:11.920 Don't try to say, you know, you want to thank God and all this stuff.
00:21:16.340 Tell me how you really, really feel about winning this award.
00:21:21.780 Oh, wait.
00:21:24.100 Cat got your tongue or what?
00:21:25.400 Oh, well, then.
00:21:38.600 If that's how you honestly feel, then okay, well done.
00:21:42.580 Is there anything else you'd like to add to the fine people out there?
00:21:45.560 I don't know.
00:21:46.740 Do you feel confused?
00:21:52.440 Do you feel enlightened?
00:21:53.680 Which is it?
00:21:54.160 I'm sorry.
00:21:56.380 I can't see you.
00:21:57.520 I have an inflection in my ear.
00:22:00.180 Well, we got creams for that, too.
00:22:01.880 And for that little jaunt you did the first time, there's magic pills for that.
00:22:05.340 So anyway, this has been another segment of...
00:22:09.940 Well, oh my God, I can't do this up.
00:22:12.560 This has been another segment of... 1.00
00:22:14.160 The Canadian polar vortex of bullshit. 1.00
00:22:22.800 Yes, and that's right. 1.00
00:22:25.120 And thank you once again, Ms. McKenna, for your infinite wisdom and your input.
00:22:30.440 It's always not welcome to the Canadian taxpayer.
00:22:32.960 And we'll be right back after this short little message from the fine, fine people at BattleFit Bodywear.
00:22:41.420 Greetings, ladies and gentlemen.
00:22:44.180 Krusty Canuck here.

00:23:37.920 That's right.
00:23:38.440 Be BattleFit.
00:23:39.140 Be BattleReady.
00:23:40.100 BattleFit Bodywear.
00:23:41.720 Be Limitless.
00:23:42.720 Be BattleFit.
00:23:43.960 BattleFit Bodywear.
00:23:44.920 Anyway, coming back.
00:23:46.060 That's right.
00:23:46.700 Episode 224, the Tuesday Rant.
00:23:50.420 That's right, ladies and gentlemen.
00:23:51.600 It's been an interesting week so far, to say the least.
00:23:55.860 Especially in regards to what's been going on with our politics and everything else.
00:24:02.760 Sorry for the blackouts there.
00:24:04.080 I've had some issues with my switches.
00:24:06.020 But I think you see my point.
00:24:07.360 Ex-politicians weighing in, blaming the Conservatives, and then Liberals blaming democracy and saying
00:24:14.560 they promote democracy.
00:24:15.980 Which brings me to my last part of this episode, ladies and gentlemen.
00:24:19.480 Ms. Chrystia Freeland, the Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister of Canada, as we speak.
00:24:26.880 I would say she's probably the most underqualified politician we have in our cabinet. 1.00
00:24:31.940 She did go to Harvard, apparently.
00:24:34.500 Yes.
00:24:34.900 And Northeastern University.
00:24:36.260 And she ended up becoming a business journalist.
00:24:41.080 Not an actual business person, per se, but a business journalist.
00:24:46.180 And she used to be quite the anti-rich kind of person. 0.55
00:24:50.320 But now she sits in the WEF, just like Ms. McKenna does in her own special way. 1.00
00:24:55.720 But I'll read a little article here from the Northeast University's paper there in regards to what she said.
00:25:03.380 Now, there's a video I didn't queue up for it, but it angered me, ladies and gentlemen.
00:25:10.260 She basically asked the students, do you want a capitalized democracy? 0.88
00:25:15.300 And the majority of Canadians would say, yeah, yeah, we do.
00:25:19.420 We do.
00:25:20.580 I like a democracy where you can have a chance to make some money.
00:25:23.980 I know you do. 0.94
00:25:24.960 And I like a democracy where you have politicians to say the fuck out of our wallets.
00:25:28.920 But anyway, I'll queue this article up and I'll read along with you guys. 0.78
00:25:32.140 But I'll leave the links in my description, all that good stuff, and just the BS this lady was toting. 0.92
00:25:39.640 Like, honestly, really.
00:25:41.040 Christopher Freeland, Canada's Deputy Prime Minister, urges Northeastern graduate students to become the greatest generation of this century.
00:25:47.220 Okay.
00:25:48.100 All right.
00:25:48.720 Christopher Freeland's Canada's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance wove together the themes of resilient achievement and courageous ambition.
00:25:54.200 During her speech to graduate students at Northeast University, 121st Commencement on Sunday at Fenway Park in Boston.
00:26:02.000 Now, Boston's a nice town.
00:26:03.100 I've been to Boston.
00:26:03.780 I like Boston.
00:26:05.020 Right?
00:26:05.140 So, this is some of her quotes there, too.
00:26:09.760 You know, Freeland laid out the harsh global realities which her audience was well aware.
00:26:13.220 The ongoing assault on democracies by authoritarian regimes like the Liberal Party and the United States Democrats.
00:26:19.140 You know, and the empowered the ascent of the ultra-rich at the expense of the middle class.
00:26:23.080 The rising seas and accompanying dangers imposed by climate change. 0.99
00:26:26.460 Oh, here we go with more fucking panic. 0.98
00:26:28.360 She was intent in inspiring the graduates to take and make a stand. 0.99
00:26:33.980 With education you have received at this exceptional school, you have earned the opportunity to shape the future.
00:26:39.580 Our planets, your countries, and your own, Freeland said.
00:26:42.900 I believe that all of you can, all of you must become the greatest generation of this century.
00:26:47.820 She was referring to a title earned by the 1940s by a generation that fought and won World War II, including, she said, her grandfather.
00:26:53.880 Yeah, well, so had my grandfather, too, Miss Freeland.
00:26:56.040 And both of my grandfathers even had an uncle that fought in Korea.
00:26:59.180 And yours truly fought in a war, too.
00:27:02.560 Anyway.
00:27:04.380 And this goes on.
00:27:07.040 It's just, it's a pro-Freeland thing.
00:27:10.580 But you got to ask yourself, though.
00:27:15.740 How important is this democracy to you at all, ladies and gentlemen?
00:27:19.240 Like I said, I'll leave this link in my description for you to follow.
00:27:22.180 Well, I'll leave all these links, you know, from my descriptions for you to follow. 0.98
00:27:27.400 And you guys decide, because it's just, it's just garbage.
00:27:31.320 I want to thank the people at Northern Perspective, Cypher and Fox, once again.
00:27:35.580 They put together a great video.
00:27:37.120 I'll leave a link to that video in my description for you to follow, too, so you get a better understanding of her speech. 0.98
00:27:42.320 Just, just garbage. 1.00
00:27:45.760 Like, she's just so full of crap. 1.00
00:27:48.340 Honestly. 1.00
00:27:49.240 Like, really.
00:27:50.240 Like, I'm just so tired of these people that call themselves liberals.
00:27:55.020 And there's nothing liberal about them.
00:27:57.340 Right?
00:27:58.580 There's nothing liberal about them. 1.00
00:27:59.860 Well, smack my ass and call me Judy. 1.00
00:28:02.520 Indeed. 1.00
00:28:03.340 There's nothing liberal about that at all, either.
00:28:05.360 Unless you ask Judy first.
00:28:07.260 But that's a different story.
00:28:08.440 But we're at a point where the pot is boiling.
00:28:15.200 Okay?
00:28:15.920 So regardless of what Ms. Freeland says, what the Prime Minister Trudeau says, what ex-MP Ms. McKenna says, what Polly Ev says, what your mayor says, what this Reeve says, what this council person says, it's getting to the point where we're all getting insulted.
00:28:31.880 From our intelligence, to what we do for a living, to who we love.
00:28:39.360 Okay? 0.81
00:28:40.780 It's just getting ridiculous. 0.59
00:28:42.260 And for what? 0.81
00:28:42.880 For what agenda?
00:28:44.640 Right?
00:28:45.660 Collectivism is the key?
00:28:46.940 No.
00:28:47.660 Sorry, kids.
00:28:48.560 For you kids under 30 years of age, no.
00:28:51.120 It didn't work in the 20th century.
00:28:53.680 It sure ain't going to work in the 21st. 0.99
00:28:55.340 No matter how hard you fucking try. 0.95
00:28:59.480 Once again, ladies and gentlemen, if you like and hear what you see, please click, like, and subscribe. 0.98
00:29:03.000 Share this content over your social media platforms.
00:29:05.720 I had a pretty long day today, too.
00:29:07.200 I was moving a lot of stuff at work today.
00:29:09.680 A lot of clay, a little bit of manure, some feed.
00:29:12.540 But, you know, it was a long day.
00:29:14.680 And like I said, every Tuesday, I try to get the episodes up and running for you is all out there.
00:29:18.540 So, Tuesday Rants.

00:29:38.700 Perhaps subscribe and send me some lovely emails.
00:29:44.560 And, you know, I appreciate everything that has been said to me the past few weeks and the past little while.
00:29:49.840 You're the reason I do this podcast.
00:29:51.800 But please consider donating, too.
00:29:53.960 The more you donate, the easier life gets.
00:29:56.900 I'm not saying you have to.
00:29:58.640 But please consider donating if you can.
00:30:00.800 Links in the description as well.
00:30:02.880 Anyhow, like I said in this episode of 224 of the Tuesday Rant.
00:30:08.820 Yeah.
00:30:09.060 Trudeau's stance of democracy. 0.99
00:30:10.420 Former MP, Catherine McKenna's foolish tweet. 0.90
00:30:12.440 Deputy PM Freeland's speech university grads. 0.87
00:30:15.780 Now, she did ask the question that kids want democracy. 1.00
00:30:18.620 Regardless of how you dress up a poop sandwich, it's still a poop sandwich. 0.89
00:30:22.720 And all these politicians have done nothing but give us effing poop sandwiches. 0.51
00:30:27.000 So, let's start giving it back.
00:30:29.260 Okay.
00:30:30.440 There's rumors of an election coming up probably in the spring.
00:30:33.480 I doubt they'll become one in the fall because they have to bring parliament back and they're going to sort of climate change stuff and get all dramatic.
00:30:39.140 But we are better than that, ladies and gentlemen.
00:30:43.080 Let us not fall into the vice of garbage and the media stream.
00:30:48.460 If you're going to be upset about not getting media through Facebook, then go to these news sites, download their application.
00:30:56.580 And if you have to pay, so be it.
00:30:58.680 If you want to be informed, that's up to you as an individual to be informed.
00:31:04.880 It's not up to the government to do it for you because we're seeing the results of that as we speak.
00:31:10.600 Right?
00:31:11.740 Anyhow, I have been Krusty Canuck on this beautiful 22nd of August, 2023.
00:31:17.000 Weather is getting a little damp out there.
