Transcript

00:00:00.560 Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. It's a beautiful 17th of October, 2023.
00:00:05.140 Coming up on this Tuesday's rant with the Krusty Canuck.
00:00:08.240 Topics will be thoughts in Israel and the protests,
00:00:11.040 why democracy is still a great option, and my suggestions for the future.
00:00:14.900 All that and more coming up on the Tuesday rant with Krusty Canuck.
00:00:19.060 Buckle up. It's going to be a fun ride.
00:00:21.700 I do swear and smoke cigarettes.
00:00:23.420 So listener discretion is advised. See you in a bit.
00:00:30.000 See you in a bit.
00:01:00.000 Send me some kind comments and some kind words.
00:01:02.240 So thank you out there to everybody.
00:01:04.320 You guys are awesome, especially my American audience.
00:01:06.720 I've had some kind comments from them too.
00:01:08.800 And if you like and hear what you see, please click like and subscribe.
00:01:11.800 And give me the thumbs up there too.
00:01:13.520 I'm not going to sit here and say, please, please give me a thumbs up.
00:01:15.980 It's just it helps the algorithm because of the legislation that's going on in Canada right now,
00:01:21.100 especially my American audience out there.
00:01:23.120 If you do happen to listen to my show and like what you see, please give me a like and give me a comment too.
00:01:28.520 That way it tells the powers that be that we do have Canadian content in this country
00:01:32.620 and people really do want to pay attention to either me or anybody else for that matter,
00:01:36.720 and more or less just to be left alone.
00:01:38.960 So in this episode, like I mentioned in the title card,
00:01:42.960 thoughts in Israel and the protests, why democracy is still a great option,
00:01:45.840 and my suggestions for the future.
00:01:48.060 So we've all seen the headlines the past week since Thanksgiving in regards to what's happening to Israel
00:01:52.720 and what's happened in Israel per se.
00:01:55.480 Now, I'm not going to sit and take sides in this because I get tired of war.
00:02:00.440 Okay, I really get fucking fed up with war.
00:02:03.700 Like I said, I swear on this show.
00:02:05.000 So brace yourself.
00:02:06.140 I might use some bad words or two.
00:02:07.960 Oh, my goodness.
00:02:09.420 But I get really, really fed up when it comes to people taking sides in these battles,
00:02:13.320 especially when it comes to kids and children.
00:02:16.340 Facsimiles of adults.
00:02:18.100 I'm not saying little kids.
00:02:19.720 I'm not saying little children.
00:02:21.300 I mean, full-grown adults, functioning adults that act like little kids
00:02:24.860 because their fucking feelings are hurt.
00:02:26.840 Now, I'm going to say this, and I really, really want you, my wonderful audience, to pay attention.
00:02:31.780 We have to stop worrying about religious and racial ideologies.
00:02:38.140 Honestly.
00:02:39.760 I don't know about you, but I was raised in a household where you tolerate faith.
00:02:43.860 Where you tolerate religion.
00:02:44.800 You tolerate people's beliefs.
00:02:46.980 I've said numerous times that I've had people knock on my door, tell me about their gospel.
00:02:51.420 I had some wonderful conversations with a Jehovah's couple there about a month ago.
00:02:56.880 We just talked about life.
00:02:58.060 We talked about the universe.
00:02:59.500 You know, I know they were trying to get me into that God mode, but I gave them the time of day
00:03:04.060 because I just felt like being a good person.
00:03:05.980 And there's nothing wrong with talking to people about religion.
00:03:09.760 Nothing wrong with that.
00:03:11.820 But when you start banging people's faces into the tarmac in the name of whatever figurehead or lord you have above,
00:03:18.540 you have a problem or they have a problem.
00:03:21.520 You see what I'm getting at here?
00:03:22.640 So regardless of the history between Palestine and Israel or Gaza or Lebanon or the Philistines or the Palestinians or the biblical efforts or the Torah efforts or whatever the books in today's religion are called.
00:03:36.880 Okay, you got to let people be people.
00:03:41.460 Now, I know the Israeli government has its bad bits.
00:03:44.880 So there's the Palestinian government.
00:03:46.760 The Lebanese government has done some terrible things.
00:03:48.840 The Syrian government has done some terrible things.
00:03:50.520 The Egyptian government has done some terrible fucking things.
00:03:53.720 But come on now.
00:03:55.960 In this age of progression, how come we're not progressing to a point where we can just get along?
00:04:02.700 No, no, no.
00:04:03.080 We have to hold on to the old animosities one more time.
00:04:05.160 We have to hang on to the old adages again, too.
00:04:09.300 Now, I've looked around on Twitter.
00:04:11.060 I've looked at Rebel News.
00:04:12.040 I've looked at True North's footage of all these protests that have gone Canada-wide, especially in the States, too, of all these Palestinians showing solidarity.
00:04:20.280 Okay, great.
00:04:21.120 There's nothing wrong with backing up your homeland.
00:04:24.000 Trust me, I've watched enough World Cups to understand how many people of all different backgrounds have backed up their homelands.
00:04:30.680 But in the same sense, how come people who live here in Canada, especially second, third generation Canadians, right, still don't appreciate Canada?
00:04:43.180 Why is that?
00:04:44.160 Why is that so hard?
00:04:48.780 Right?
00:04:50.580 Like, I hear words like decolonization and colonialism.
00:04:56.080 Well, you open up your wallet, you've got a piece of colonialism in there.
00:04:59.500 It's called money.
00:05:00.360 It's called currency.
00:05:01.380 It's called cash.
00:05:03.160 Right?
00:05:03.600 If you don't like that, then denounce colonialism by giving rid of your cash.
00:05:10.180 I'm not going to sit and justify what the monarchies did many moons ago, nor am I going to try to validate what they did.
00:05:17.400 I personally don't think we need a monarchy in this country anymore.
00:05:20.820 I personally don't think that we have to answer to any kind of king or queen or any kind of royal assent or royal appointment.
00:05:28.020 I personally believe we should have a governor general that's elected, not selected, right?
00:05:34.700 That's just me, though.
00:05:36.100 But when I hear people talk about colonization and decolonization, what exactly are you trying to decolonize?
00:05:41.540 What exactly are you trying to make in the process?
00:05:45.520 Regardless of what empire was in charge back in the 1940s, whatever powers it be who gave the Jews a homeland again,
00:05:52.900 what I understand from the time when I went to church as a kid, right?
00:06:00.480 It was a holy land for all, right?
00:06:03.800 Not just the Jews, not just the Palestinians, but for everybody who wanted those lands and looking for something, right?
00:06:12.340 Maybe I'm way off.
00:06:13.440 I don't know.
00:06:14.340 I'm really not really sure of my theology at the moment.
00:06:17.380 But I really didn't give it a chance because I personally am not a believer.
00:06:23.160 I'm not.
00:06:25.040 That's just me, though, ladies and gentlemen.
00:06:27.260 What say you?
00:06:28.700 Once again, if you're liking here to see, please click like and subscribe and share this podcast all over your social media platforms if you can, too.
00:06:35.440 You can also find me on these various channels here.
00:06:38.780 I'll just queue up the card here.
00:06:39.780 You can also find me on Facebook, Twitter, now X, the Instagram, the Tube, and on Rumble.
00:06:48.120 And if you want to subscribe some more, get some more information, you can check out my website at www.crustycanuck.ca.
00:06:55.200 I have a bio in there and links to where you'd like to donate.
00:06:58.260 And a correction, too.
00:06:59.900 There is an application on my support section in my description where it's theaskme.com.
00:07:07.260 And it's the Krusty Canuck pod and all that, too.
00:07:09.940 Apparently, it's not working.
00:07:11.960 Okay?
00:07:12.920 And I was sold this idea via my email from the Gmail there, KrustyBCanuck67 at gmail.com.
00:07:21.640 And apparently, it's not working.
00:07:24.360 I guess it's not open to Canadians yet, according to one of the CEOs of this company.
00:07:29.280 So click on it.
00:07:30.700 If it doesn't work for you, my apologies.
00:07:32.920 I'm going to get rid of it eventually and try to sign something else.
00:07:35.620 The thing being is that there was individuals that, I guess, work for this company.
00:07:39.860 They liked the podcast.
00:07:41.080 And they wanted me to try this out.
00:07:43.380 I tried it out.
00:07:44.380 And I guess it's not working for Canadians.
00:07:46.220 I don't know what it is.
00:07:46.960 I don't know what gave me the idea that I was an American.
00:07:51.380 You know, the obvious.
00:07:53.780 I'm not dissing the franchise.
00:07:56.120 I just, you know, if you're going to sell me something and try to say we're going to help you,
00:08:00.360 then make God damn sure the tools you have are really helping.
00:08:04.180 You know, if I need a hammer, don't hand me a stone.
00:08:06.800 Hand me a hammer.
00:08:07.600 You know what I mean?
00:08:08.600 Anyway, no further ado.
00:08:10.100 I did a little survey there a little while back on my community page.
00:08:15.000 And I basically asked the questions.
00:08:17.880 And I'll sort up here too.
00:08:19.680 I don't know if you guys can see it properly, but it's right here with the red check mark.
00:08:24.080 Who would be a better or the ideal prime minister of Canada?
00:08:27.640 And, of course, I put my name there, Krusty Canuck, Justin Sock Puppet Trudeau,
00:08:33.140 the guy who dances for quarters and smokes at the bus stop,
00:08:37.760 the socialist who hates capitalism but loves his or her acrylics,
00:08:43.360 and the female mud wrestler who enjoys homemade liquor and long walks.
00:08:48.260 And surprisingly enough, I got 59%.
00:08:50.160 So I guess I won that survey, needless to say, too.
00:08:54.180 And 12% of you actually voted for the guy who dances for quarters at the bus stop.
00:09:01.060 Nobody voted for the socialist.
00:09:02.600 Thank God for that.
00:09:04.020 But surprisingly enough, another 29% voted for the female mud wrestler who would enjoy
00:09:09.240 homemade liquor and long walks.
00:09:11.420 So I guess it's safe to assume that this survey was good to go.
00:09:15.860 And I guess I won.
00:09:17.220 So, okay.
00:09:18.000 Give yourselves a round of applause.
00:09:19.120 Thank you very much.
00:09:22.300 And pay attention to that community page, too.
00:09:24.840 Or I'll probably add maybe another survey of some sort of the same nature.
00:09:29.760 And I'll be right back after this, ladies and gentlemen.
00:09:32.640 Stay updated and follow Krusty Canuck on Facebook, Twitter, Gap, Telegram, YouTube, and Podbean.
00:09:40.540 Subscribe today and donate at KrustyCanuck.ca.
00:09:43.940 And we're back at the Krusty Canuck podcast, the Tuesday rant.
00:09:50.060 That's right, ladies and gentlemen, I'm your host, Krusty Canuck.
00:09:51.620 And I'm in a bit of a better mood today, not like the last time where I was screaming high in heaven.
00:09:56.700 Like I said, topics will be thoughts in Israel, the protests, why democracy is still the great option.
00:10:01.200 And my suggestions for the future, and I'm going to carry on more of the Israel stuff there, too, one more time.
00:10:06.320 If you do like and hear what you see, please click like, subscribe, and give me a comment or two.
00:10:09.880 Give me a thumbs up, and share this stuff all over your social media platforms, too.
00:10:14.540 Let us help our fellow Canadians get the algorithm out there.
00:10:18.020 Special thank you to Northern Perspective.
00:10:19.600 Sorry, guys, I missed your show there on Sunday.
00:10:22.380 I was a little overwhelmed and busy with other things around the house.
00:10:26.780 But if you guys can, please check out Northern Perspective.
00:10:30.080 They're a powerhouse couple out of Ontario.
00:10:32.840 Good people, family people.
00:10:34.580 He works, she looks after the family, and they just have some really good down-to-earth common-sense approaches to things and how they put their videos together.
00:10:44.680 So if you get a chance, check out Northern Perspective.
00:10:46.740 I'll leave a link in the description, which I always do.
00:10:48.940 Click on their work.
00:10:49.900 You will not be disappointed.
00:10:51.880 Just their analytical nature and just their vocabulary is fucking superior.
00:10:56.520 They're just good people altogether.
00:10:57.800 We've had many a talk.
00:10:58.940 I've been a guest in their show.
00:11:00.660 They've been a guest on my show.
00:11:01.680 We go back and forth every so often, and we just chit-chat, shoot the shit.
00:11:06.800 I've never seen their faces.
00:11:08.820 Not that I need to.
00:11:10.020 It's just they're really down-to-earth people.
00:11:11.900 And I really suggest, I highly suggest, check them out and subscribe today, too.
00:11:17.180 That's Northern Perspective.
00:11:18.560 Just an analytical couple that really do a good job getting the truth out there for people that want to know.
00:11:23.540 Now, we may disagree on certain subjects.
00:11:25.800 I'm more libertarian-based.
00:11:27.060 They're definitely a little more conservative.
00:11:28.500 But in the same sense, we can agree to disagree and still get along and maybe share a cup of coffee someday.
00:11:34.760 I don't know.
00:11:35.560 We'll see.
00:11:35.940 Time will tell.
00:11:36.800 Anyway, carrying on with this episode of the Tuesday Rant.
00:11:39.180 I put a new title up there, too, because I figured I had to.
00:11:43.000 Please let me know in the comments what you think about it.
00:11:45.520 It cost me a few dollars, but it was worth it.
00:11:48.460 So I hope I don't copyright infringe on anybody.
00:11:51.280 That was not my intent, just to have a little more eye candy there to make things go a little smoother.
00:11:55.920 So, like I said about Israel, let them be.
00:12:00.340 Palestine, let them be.
00:12:03.840 My concern here in Canada is the fact that there's people rooting for this and rooting for that.
00:12:09.600 And I hear about picking a side.
00:12:13.860 No.
00:12:15.160 I pick a side for peace.
00:12:16.820 I pick a side for proper tolerance.
00:12:22.980 You do you.
00:12:24.000 You do you.
00:12:24.600 I do me.
00:12:25.400 We get along.
00:12:26.660 We've got victory.
00:12:27.960 Hey, shit simple.
00:12:30.000 Shit simple.
00:12:31.600 Because I've seen enough of the human filth of warfare.
00:12:35.320 I don't want to see any more of it.
00:12:37.300 I don't want to see it here either.
00:12:39.380 And I'm sure you, my wonderful audience, don't want to see it on your doorstep.
00:12:42.820 My American listeners out there, you don't want to see it on your doorstep.
00:12:46.280 So let's not pick a side.
00:12:48.460 And let's pick a side for a democracy.
00:12:51.640 Hey.
00:12:54.800 What a novel idea.
00:12:56.120 And regardless of how imperfect democracy is, you still have a chance in democracy.
00:13:04.860 Okay.
00:13:05.560 And it doesn't matter if you sit on the liberal side, the conservative side, or the libertarian side, or the NDP, NDP, NDP, NDP borderline commie side, to my American friends, the Democrat side, or the Republican side, you still have a fighting chance to get where you want to go.
00:13:26.120 However, on both sides of the border, I'm also seeing a lot of government overreach when it comes to what we do on here, what we do with these things, what we do with this, where we use our brains and try to write something down, when we try to create something.
00:13:39.920 We still have to fight for that.
00:13:41.720 Freedom of speech is essential.
00:13:43.120 Freedom of expression is essential.
00:13:45.420 Right?
00:13:45.520 I, myself, I would like to see a little more freedoms when it comes to our firearms, and when it comes to people that produce things, i.e. factories, i.e. the natural resources sector.
00:13:57.620 But I'll save that for another episode.
00:13:59.660 So the importance of our democracy is that we can get out, and we can still protest.
00:14:03.440 But we have to get rid of these bureaucrats and these so-called know-it-alls who want to pick and choose what protest we are allowed to do.
00:14:12.540 Right?
00:14:13.620 When you see the likes of people supporting Hamas, okay, are they supporting Palestinians?
00:14:20.240 Or are they supporting Hamas?
00:14:22.880 Hamas is a terrorist organization.
00:14:25.160 So is Hezbollah.
00:14:26.660 Right?
00:14:27.420 So is the Taliban.
00:14:28.900 So is ISIS.
00:14:29.800 Terrorist organizations.
00:14:33.580 Now, if you have sympathy for that, as much as I bite my fucking lip, and like I said, I believe in freedom of expression and freedom of speech.
00:14:41.860 Freedom of speech.
00:14:43.320 Free speech, period.
00:14:44.840 Hands down.
00:14:46.360 And I don't care if there's some kid in the University of Calgary or University of, or Wilfrid Laurier University, clenching their pearls, going,
00:14:54.380 How dare you say that, Krusty Canuck?
00:14:58.240 Time to grow a pair.
00:14:59.280 Get out of your safe space.
00:15:00.760 Put your cookies down.
00:15:02.000 Grab a head of lettuce and go walk about 10K.
00:15:05.360 Because this is reality.
00:15:08.160 Okay?
00:15:09.080 Just because you're offended doesn't mean you're right.
00:15:13.100 Or doesn't mean you're wrong either.
00:15:14.940 But I think you get my point.
00:15:17.800 So let the protests happen.
00:15:20.920 Peacefully.
00:15:21.920 We had that big protest about a year and a half ago in Ottawa.
00:15:25.400 And look how many people cringed and shat their pants over that garbage.
00:15:30.300 Because they couldn't understand there was Canadians getting tired of the BS.
00:15:35.060 Right?
00:15:35.220 So as long as you do something peacefully in this country, it should be fine.
00:15:40.380 Right?
00:15:41.460 And now every major politician is weighing in on what's happening to Israel.
00:15:46.000 And, you know, it's good leadership.
00:15:48.260 But when I look at some of those politicians, it's a little too fucking little.
00:15:52.920 Too fucking late.
00:15:54.880 Okay?
00:15:55.220 Sorry for the fuck.
00:15:56.700 But I'm sure they're pissing you off.
00:15:59.460 Because it sure as hell pissing me off.

00:16:20.600 Welcome back.
00:16:21.840 If you've just returned, I'm Krusty Canuck, your host.
00:16:25.840 And another thank you out there to all my new subscribers that have subscribed to me on the Rumble application.
00:16:31.720 Thank you very much.
00:16:33.360 You guys are awesome.
00:16:35.240 Really good.
00:16:36.560 Really impressed.
00:16:38.120 And thank you for the comments, too, I'm receiving on the Rumble application, too.
00:16:42.300 But like I say, if you enjoy what you see and hear, please give me a thumbs up.
00:16:46.440 I'm not going to beg.
00:16:47.040 It just really helps the algorithm, ladies and gentlemen.
00:16:49.860 And it gets my work out there.
00:16:51.340 And it gets other podcasters' work out there.
00:16:53.160 Especially us Canucks, our Canadian-based podcast, too.
00:16:57.520 Because the powers that be that sit in Ottawa right now are constantly worried about saying,
00:17:02.280 oh, we're going to promote Canadian content when we all bloody know they're going to promote the Canadian content that they want to see and push out there.
00:17:11.060 Not what you and I make or what our friends make, you know.
00:17:14.240 So it's basically, it's a biased platform they're trying to promote to save a few bucks to keep the mainstream media with a few dollars in their pockets.
00:17:21.640 Even though they're subsidized by the taxpayers in this country heavily.
00:17:24.760 But I know I digress.
00:17:26.160 And we're carrying on again, too, with this episode, 236 Thoughts in Israel, Protests, and Why Democracy is Still a Great Option, and My Suggestions for the Future.
00:17:35.340 So I'm going to jump right into my suggestions for the future.
00:17:38.700 You know, democracy can be tough, yes, but it's all about choices and having the ability to make those choices and making sure that there's no more red tape and bureaucrats are pushed aside.
00:17:49.320 Because we're too top-heavy with bureaucrats and politicians.
00:17:52.980 We need more community leaders.
00:17:54.380 We need more provincial leaders that want to get things done, that want you to keep money in your pocket, keep money in my pocket, and make some money while we're at it, too.
00:18:03.180 Minimal taxation, you know.
00:18:05.000 I got a whole, I'm planning a whole episode for the CRA anyway.
00:18:09.120 I'm going to talk to some people at the Canadian Taxpayers Federation, try to get some insights from them.
00:18:13.380 But stay tuned for that.
00:18:14.880 It might be in the next month or so, but I'll be getting into that later.
00:18:20.220 Excuse me.
00:18:21.100 Pardon me.
00:18:21.560 Too many cigarettes.
00:18:22.200 Anyway, my suggestion for the future is this.
00:18:26.200 We as the Canadian people, and my American friends, you as the American people, too, we both have working democracies.
00:18:33.920 Working meaning we can do what we're doing right now.
00:18:36.960 We can put people in office.
00:18:38.420 We can pull people out of office.
00:18:40.520 It doesn't matter if it's the Senate.
00:18:41.720 It doesn't matter if it's the governors.
00:18:42.820 It doesn't matter if it's the premiers.
00:18:44.880 It doesn't matter if it's the prime minister.
00:18:46.100 It doesn't matter if it's this writing or that writing or this district or that district.
00:18:49.140 We have the power to do that.
00:18:50.940 The power of a don't stylo.
00:18:53.840 Power of the pen.
00:18:55.900 I have a pen around here someplace.
00:18:57.900 Right?
00:18:59.420 Power of one of these.
00:19:01.900 Old-fashioned letter writing.
00:19:03.420 Old-fashioned emails.
00:19:04.820 I can't believe I said old-fashioned emails.
00:19:06.620 But you get my point, ladies and gentlemen.
00:19:09.060 Okay?
00:19:09.720 You get my point.
00:19:13.440 And then we can protest.
00:19:15.580 Right?
00:19:16.060 A lot of these websites that are popping up right now in Canada, especially when it comes
00:19:20.120 to taxpayers, there's tons of petitions out there that we, the Canadian people, can sign
00:19:23.900 and voice our opinion, too.
00:19:25.740 This platform here, we can do that as well.
00:19:27.900 So we have to keep voicing our opinions.
00:19:30.020 Voicing our voices.
00:19:31.760 Getting the words out there.
00:19:33.240 Letting people know this is what's going on.
00:19:35.540 And we have to do something about it.
00:19:37.780 The best way to do it is peacefully.
00:19:40.740 I don't believe in taking up arms right away and kicking ass taking names.
00:19:45.080 Because it'd be Hanselot in the streets and that doesn't look pretty.
00:19:48.940 But I do believe in simple communication.
00:19:52.740 Keeping things realistic.
00:19:53.980 Keeping it down to earth.
00:19:55.540 Now, Pierre Polyev likes to say common sense.
00:19:57.560 And, you know, he's got a point.
00:19:59.540 Okay?
00:19:59.940 But I made this point before, though, too, ladies and gentlemen.
00:20:01.940 Regardless of how much him and his party are gaining traction, he is still a career politician.
00:20:06.960 And history is proven.
00:20:09.660 You have career politicians.
00:20:12.680 You've got to look at what they've done.
00:20:14.940 Now, my American friends, you have a president that's been a career politician for the better part of what?
00:20:20.380 Maybe 50?
00:20:22.180 55 years?
00:20:25.180 And he's closer to 80.
00:20:28.660 And now he's president.
00:20:30.780 Okay, I guess you can say he worked really hard.
00:20:32.800 But what's he doing?
00:20:33.820 Now, he's going to arrive in Israel tomorrow, apparently.
00:20:36.960 There's going to be some kind of a big thing.
00:20:39.280 Some big, big issue with that.
00:20:42.280 Now, I don't really understand.
00:20:44.940 I really don't mind.
00:20:46.400 It's no big deal.
00:20:48.880 But we have to watch carefully.
00:20:51.960 And us Canucks, we've got to watch who we put in office again.
00:20:56.460 So, if they do call an election within the next six months, due diligence on our part on who we want representing us.
00:21:06.740 And we have to have due diligence in regards to who is going to really work for us.
00:21:13.640 And I mean work.
00:21:14.520 Not just a notion of throwing a tie over your shoulder, rolling up the sleeves, saying, let's get the hard work done.
00:21:20.060 Oh, somebody who's willing to work.
00:21:25.240 Somebody who's not afraid to wade through the swamp.
00:21:27.460 Somebody who's not afraid to shovel the shit and get rid of the garbage.
00:21:31.760 Right?
00:21:32.060 Simple things like that.
00:21:33.960 Right?
00:21:35.720 I might run again for the Veterans Coalition Party.
00:21:38.320 I don't know.
00:21:39.620 I'm weighing the odds here, too.
00:21:41.140 I have other commitments that are in the works.
00:21:43.680 Like I said, I'm doing a lot of writing.
00:21:45.700 I've written a couple of screenplays.
00:21:47.440 So, I'm trying to get one of them sold.
00:21:50.040 Right?
00:21:50.520 Trying to get it produced.
00:21:52.740 I'll just say right now to you, my wonderful audience, it's a Canadian-based story.
00:21:57.460 It deals with love.
00:21:58.600 It deals with violence.
00:21:59.380 It deals with personal demons.
00:22:02.280 And how to overcome it.
00:22:05.080 And it's a period piece, too.
00:22:06.860 We'll leave it there for now.
00:22:09.040 There's a few people I know that have looked at it and liked it.
00:22:11.900 And they're trying to give me a hand with it.
00:22:13.160 But resources are limited, meaning cash flow.
00:22:17.600 But I'm not going to sit here and beg you for money.
00:22:20.060 I'll put a page or something together there later.
00:22:22.060 But I think a long story short, the creative process is working.
00:22:26.960 The juices are flowing.
00:22:28.120 And the hamster wheels are churning, to say the least.
00:22:33.020 But there's something in the works there, too.
00:22:36.520 Another suggestion for the future is this simple.
00:22:38.620 We've got to see more Canucks standing up for what's right.
00:22:42.780 And I'm not talking about a violent stance.
00:22:44.580 I don't want to see violence.
00:22:46.820 Violence is the last resort.
00:22:51.400 The last resort.
00:22:53.740 Because I've seen enough.
00:22:54.900 And I'm sure some of you, my veteran brothers, have seen enough, too.
00:22:57.420 My veteran sisters.
00:22:59.860 And when people keep talking about violence, they're mixing it up.
00:23:06.640 They think bad words are violent.
00:23:09.020 When you drop an F-bomb.
00:23:10.200 Oh, that's violent.
00:23:11.760 So if I tap somebody in the shoulder and I go, boo, does that give you a concussion?
00:23:15.260 Is that the logic we're dealing with right now?
00:23:17.000 And in some cases, there are people out there and educators that think words are violence.
00:23:23.440 Violence is an action.
00:23:26.380 You know, if I'm standing there waiting for a bus and I ask somebody for the time, does that make me aggressive?
00:23:31.300 Or does that make me inquisitive?
00:23:33.800 Hmm, interesting.
00:23:35.020 What an idea.
00:23:35.520 If I'm walking down the street and I go, good morning, does that make me aggressive?
00:23:44.760 Or does that make me kind?
00:23:46.360 In some cases, there are people out there that think both.
00:23:49.120 Oh, you're being kind, but you're being too aggressive.
00:23:54.000 So which is it?
00:23:56.340 And my friends at Northern Perspective and other podcasters like have talked about this whole words is violence BS.
00:24:02.020 And if I go to my way and I grab somebody and I insult them and give them the old, you know, fucking old military instructor adage, okay, I'm being a little aggressive and I'm insulting them.
00:24:12.060 But in no way am I being violent, I have to hit them or smack them with something hard to be violent.
00:24:19.100 So we have to have some administrators and leaders out there that are not going to tolerate this wokeism, this postmodernist bullshit, and this Marxist mandate garbage, okay?
00:24:30.840 And we're going to have to tell these educators, too, to smarten up as well, as well as the bureaucrats that govern them, right?
00:24:38.920 So that's my thoughts for the future, too, to stand firm.
00:24:42.400 Because when you look at the post-secondary institutions in this country, it's big business, too.
00:24:49.340 A lot of big business, a lot of tuition fees, a lot of those fees, these hidden fees, those fees, not to mention the ridiculous salaries that some of these professors like to make, right?
00:25:00.800 So we have to be due diligent with that, too, because there's a lot of government money that goes in the bigger schools.
00:25:09.600 So I just sit back and I laugh when a lot of these students sit and protest big oil and big pharma, but they love big pharma when it comes to Jibby Jab, and they like big oil when they turn the heat and lights on, right?
00:25:23.620 But it's terrible for the environment, you know, how can the government do this?
00:25:27.420 Yet that same government helps you with your tuitions, i.e. student loans, and, of course, keeping certain faculties open in the name of charity.
00:25:38.260 Oh, lovely.
00:25:40.360 So keep that in mind, ladies and gentlemen, okay?
00:25:44.600 And another point of the future is more of a libertarian-based, classical liberalism, meaning you do you, I do me, and we just get along.
00:25:54.160 I don't care who you love, I don't care what you kiss, I don't care what you promise to give a kiss, what I care about is that you can just live your life and thrive by your means or by what you merit for.
00:26:10.460 Work hard to get ahead.
00:26:13.020 And I'm in agreeance when it comes to peer polyev, when it comes to, okay, stop penalizing hard work, okay?
00:26:17.960 In my job, I do anywhere from 45 to 50-plus hours a week, okay?
00:26:23.640 I'm up at O Dark Stupid, I get home at a relatively decent time, it usually averages up to a 9-hour or 10-hour shift, okay?
00:26:32.620 And I get paid a good wage, and I work for good people, and it's good, solid work.
00:26:37.340 But I'm also at a point in my life, too, where do I have to keep working like this until I'm 65 to get ahead?
00:26:45.960 Or can I keep working like this and hope that we have some political guts to tell these guys, quit cutting out of my check and let me keep what I earn?
00:26:55.860 Because I believe I'm working my ass off my money, you work your ass off my money, you know?
00:27:02.580 To the academics out there, you work your ass off to get the dissertation, to get the essays in, to get your words formulated so you can present it and show your instructors that you're not a moron.
00:27:14.240 Earning something, you know what I mean?
00:27:16.460 To the musicians out there that write great music, open up the plug gates, let some of these artists shine, right?
00:27:25.220 Little things like that, that add up.
00:27:28.080 So let's get rid of some of the bureaucracy.
00:27:30.680 Let's get rid of the appointees and start appointing people ourselves by voting, by electing, by hiring people that have the qualifications and not just the look or how they identify.
00:27:46.100 Proper meritocracy is key.
00:27:50.340 Doesn't matter where this individual is from, doesn't matter what that individual does with his or her lifestyle.
00:27:56.040 Can they do the work?
00:27:57.980 Can they dig that hole?
00:27:59.600 Can they wire that wall?
00:28:01.420 Can they put those lights up?
00:28:03.320 Can they design a good deck?
00:28:05.920 Can they fix your truck?
00:28:07.220 Can they fix your tractor?
00:28:08.220 Can they fix your car?
00:28:09.920 Great.
00:28:10.660 Perfect.
00:28:12.040 Can they lead a community to victory?
00:28:13.660 Can they coach a hockey team, a lacrosse team, a soccer team, a football team?
00:28:18.660 No?
00:28:19.100 Good.
00:28:19.920 They've earned it.
00:28:21.860 Gained experience.
00:28:22.620 Enough of this woke crap about lived experience.
00:28:27.720 We obviously know you're alive if you have an experience.
00:28:30.480 You don't have to emphasize that adjective of saying lived experience.
00:28:33.860 Well, I hope it's a lived experience because it'd suck if it was a deceased experience, right?
00:28:37.640 Anyhow, I know a bad joke.
00:28:41.560 Like I'm saying, I'm not going to sit and wish for a utopia.
00:28:46.540 There's no such thing as a utopia.
00:28:49.540 Okay?
00:28:49.660 But there is perseverance, and democracy works.
00:28:53.040 It's not perfect, but it's a hell of a lot better than commie lifestyle, better than fascist lifestyles, better than socialism.
00:29:02.320 And I bet you there's some kids sitting there stringing right now going, oh my God, I can't believe you just said that.
00:29:07.360 Oh, no.
00:29:10.360 You can have a quasi-socialized system, but when you look at Canadian socialized medicine right now, it's not that good.
00:29:18.400 Because you've got a lot of administrators that are holding on to old glory who refuse to hire or rehire some of the people they let go during the pandemic in the name of the jibby jab.
00:29:28.820 Right?
00:29:30.260 And some of you people know who you are, too, who've done that.
00:29:33.680 So something to think about, ladies and gentlemen.
00:29:36.680 Anyhow, I've been Krusty Canuck on this beautiful Tuesday, 17th of October, 2023.
00:29:45.180 Things are getting a little cooler.
00:29:47.440 So stock up on your lumber if you need it, or stock up on some food stores, what have you.
00:29:53.000 Once again, thank you to everybody out there who has given me a good thumbs up in the last episode.
00:29:58.020 Thank you for sticking around.
00:29:58.920 Pardon my audio issues here.
00:30:00.380 I had some computer problems there.
00:30:02.240 But thank you, nonetheless, for sticking around, helping us out.
00:30:06.880 And we always have to remember, too, that the more these people talk about how they deserve this, they deserve that.
00:30:13.200 We can always remind them that they deserve absolutely nothing.
00:30:20.620 Precisely.
00:30:21.380 But like I said, I have been Krusty Canuck on this beautiful 17th of October, 2023.
00:30:25.580 Things are getting a bit cooler.
00:30:28.460 So get your warm clothes out.
00:30:30.360 Do whatever odd yard work you have to get done.
00:30:33.980 Look after your friends and loved ones.
00:30:35.440 Help your neighbors out when you can.
00:30:38.720 And just try to keep our chins up, ladies and gentlemen.
00:30:41.920 I know it's tough for a lot of people out there.
00:30:43.900 It's tough for my wife and I, too.
00:30:45.520 We're trying to get ahead.
00:30:46.320 And so we're slowly, you know, slowly we're getting, getting the momentum.
00:30:51.240 It's getting there.
00:30:53.220 Try to keep the debts down and just try to keep our head above water to the best of our ability.
00:30:58.060 And like I said, you know, do what you can to help each other out in these trying times.
00:31:03.280 Help your neighbors out.
00:31:04.580 Go out of your way to maybe give somebody a ride or whatever.
00:31:07.680 Just try to be as charitable as you see fit.
00:31:12.220 Just try to be good.
00:31:14.160 But like I always say, ladies and gentlemen, humanity and merit wins the day.
00:31:19.580 And I'll see you this coming Saturday.
00:31:22.400 Bye for now.
00:31:23.020 This has been another episode of the Krusty Canuck podcast.
00:31:47.960 Stay safe.
00:31:49.200 And thank you for listening.
00:31:50.660 From Western Canada.
00:31:51.640 This is the Krusty Canuck podcast.
00:31:57.300 Well, smack my ass and call me Judy.
