On this episode of The Krusty Canuck, I talk about my thoughts on the recent events in Israel and the protests, why democracy is still a great option, and my suggestions for the future. Buckle up, it's going to be a fun ride.
00:03:22.640So regardless of the history between Palestine and Israel or Gaza or Lebanon or the Philistines or the Palestinians or the biblical efforts or the Torah efforts or whatever the books in today's religion are called.
00:03:36.880Okay, you got to let people be people.
00:03:41.460Now, I know the Israeli government has its bad bits.
00:03:44.880So there's the Palestinian government.
00:03:46.760The Lebanese government has done some terrible things.
00:03:48.840The Syrian government has done some terrible things.
00:03:50.520The Egyptian government has done some terrible fucking things.
00:04:12.040I've looked at True North's footage of all these protests that have gone Canada-wide, especially in the States, too, of all these Palestinians showing solidarity.
00:04:21.120There's nothing wrong with backing up your homeland.
00:04:24.000Trust me, I've watched enough World Cups to understand how many people of all different backgrounds have backed up their homelands.
00:04:30.680But in the same sense, how come people who live here in Canada, especially second, third generation Canadians, right, still don't appreciate Canada?
00:06:28.700Once again, if you're liking here to see, please click like and subscribe and share this podcast all over your social media platforms if you can, too.
00:06:35.440You can also find me on these various channels here.
00:10:34.580He works, she looks after the family, and they just have some really good down-to-earth common-sense approaches to things and how they put their videos together.
00:10:44.680So if you get a chance, check out Northern Perspective.
00:10:46.740I'll leave a link in the description, which I always do.
00:13:05.560And it doesn't matter if you sit on the liberal side, the conservative side, or the libertarian side, or the NDP, NDP, NDP, NDP borderline commie side, to my American friends, the Democrat side, or the Republican side, you still have a fighting chance to get where you want to go.
00:13:26.120However, on both sides of the border, I'm also seeing a lot of government overreach when it comes to what we do on here, what we do with these things, what we do with this, where we use our brains and try to write something down, when we try to create something.
00:13:45.520I, myself, I would like to see a little more freedoms when it comes to our firearms, and when it comes to people that produce things, i.e. factories, i.e. the natural resources sector.
00:13:57.620But I'll save that for another episode.
00:13:59.660So the importance of our democracy is that we can get out, and we can still protest.
00:14:03.440But we have to get rid of these bureaucrats and these so-called know-it-alls who want to pick and choose what protest we are allowed to do.
00:14:33.580Now, if you have sympathy for that, as much as I bite my fucking lip, and like I said, I believe in freedom of expression and freedom of speech.
00:14:46.360And I don't care if there's some kid in the University of Calgary or University of, or Wilfrid Laurier University, clenching their pearls, going,
00:16:51.340And it gets other podcasters' work out there.
00:16:53.160Especially us Canucks, our Canadian-based podcast, too.
00:16:57.520Because the powers that be that sit in Ottawa right now are constantly worried about saying,
00:17:02.280oh, we're going to promote Canadian content when we all bloody know they're going to promote the Canadian content that they want to see and push out there.
00:17:11.060Not what you and I make or what our friends make, you know.
00:17:14.240So it's basically, it's a biased platform they're trying to promote to save a few bucks to keep the mainstream media with a few dollars in their pockets.
00:17:21.640Even though they're subsidized by the taxpayers in this country heavily.
00:17:26.160And we're carrying on again, too, with this episode, 236 Thoughts in Israel, Protests, and Why Democracy is Still a Great Option, and My Suggestions for the Future.
00:17:35.340So I'm going to jump right into my suggestions for the future.
00:17:38.700You know, democracy can be tough, yes, but it's all about choices and having the ability to make those choices and making sure that there's no more red tape and bureaucrats are pushed aside.
00:17:49.320Because we're too top-heavy with bureaucrats and politicians.
00:17:54.380We need more provincial leaders that want to get things done, that want you to keep money in your pocket, keep money in my pocket, and make some money while we're at it, too.
00:23:56.340And my friends at Northern Perspective and other podcasters like have talked about this whole words is violence BS.
00:24:02.020And if I go to my way and I grab somebody and I insult them and give them the old, you know, fucking old military instructor adage, okay, I'm being a little aggressive and I'm insulting them.
00:24:12.060But in no way am I being violent, I have to hit them or smack them with something hard to be violent.
00:24:19.100So we have to have some administrators and leaders out there that are not going to tolerate this wokeism, this postmodernist bullshit, and this Marxist mandate garbage, okay?
00:24:30.840And we're going to have to tell these educators, too, to smarten up as well, as well as the bureaucrats that govern them, right?
00:24:38.920So that's my thoughts for the future, too, to stand firm.
00:24:42.400Because when you look at the post-secondary institutions in this country, it's big business, too.
00:24:49.340A lot of big business, a lot of tuition fees, a lot of those fees, these hidden fees, those fees, not to mention the ridiculous salaries that some of these professors like to make, right?
00:25:00.800So we have to be due diligent with that, too, because there's a lot of government money that goes in the bigger schools.
00:25:09.600So I just sit back and I laugh when a lot of these students sit and protest big oil and big pharma, but they love big pharma when it comes to Jibby Jab, and they like big oil when they turn the heat and lights on, right?
00:25:23.620But it's terrible for the environment, you know, how can the government do this?
00:25:27.420Yet that same government helps you with your tuitions, i.e. student loans, and, of course, keeping certain faculties open in the name of charity.
00:25:40.360So keep that in mind, ladies and gentlemen, okay?
00:25:44.600And another point of the future is more of a libertarian-based, classical liberalism, meaning you do you, I do me, and we just get along.
00:25:54.160I don't care who you love, I don't care what you kiss, I don't care what you promise to give a kiss, what I care about is that you can just live your life and thrive by your means or by what you merit for.
00:26:13.020And I'm in agreeance when it comes to peer polyev, when it comes to, okay, stop penalizing hard work, okay?
00:26:17.960In my job, I do anywhere from 45 to 50-plus hours a week, okay?
00:26:23.640I'm up at O Dark Stupid, I get home at a relatively decent time, it usually averages up to a 9-hour or 10-hour shift, okay?
00:26:32.620And I get paid a good wage, and I work for good people, and it's good, solid work.
00:26:37.340But I'm also at a point in my life, too, where do I have to keep working like this until I'm 65 to get ahead?
00:26:45.960Or can I keep working like this and hope that we have some political guts to tell these guys, quit cutting out of my check and let me keep what I earn?
00:26:55.860Because I believe I'm working my ass off my money, you work your ass off my money, you know?
00:27:02.580To the academics out there, you work your ass off to get the dissertation, to get the essays in, to get your words formulated so you can present it and show your instructors that you're not a moron.
00:27:14.240Earning something, you know what I mean?
00:27:16.460To the musicians out there that write great music, open up the plug gates, let some of these artists shine, right?
00:27:28.080So let's get rid of some of the bureaucracy.
00:27:30.680Let's get rid of the appointees and start appointing people ourselves by voting, by electing, by hiring people that have the qualifications and not just the look or how they identify.
00:29:10.360You can have a quasi-socialized system, but when you look at Canadian socialized medicine right now, it's not that good.
00:29:18.400Because you've got a lot of administrators that are holding on to old glory who refuse to hire or rehire some of the people they let go during the pandemic in the name of the jibby jab.
