The Crusty Canuck Podcast - EP#243 Rage, rage against the Dying of the Light!

00:00:00.860 Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. It's a beautiful 18th of November, 2023.

00:00:05.800 Coming up this episode of the Krusty Canuck podcast, rage, rage against the dying of the light.

00:00:11.600 No, metaphorically speaking, just my assessment of this week's events and, you know,

00:00:16.200 other things that have bothered us Canucks and friends of the country.

00:00:20.500 All the same. Listener and viewer discretion is advised because I do swear and smoke cigarettes.

00:00:26.660 Please stick around.

00:00:30.000 Get it, sweetheart.

00:00:34.580 Because I am hard, you will not like me.

00:00:37.520 Yes, sir.

00:00:40.980 There is no racial bigotry here.

00:00:45.820 There you are always going to work.

00:00:49.860 From Western Canada, this is the Krusty Canuck podcast, a Canadian veteran's point of view.

00:00:56.500 On political, social, economic issues, and life.

00:01:00.700 Here's Krusty.

00:01:03.460 That's right, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to another exciting episode of the Krusty Canuck podcast.

00:01:07.180 I am your host, Krusty Canuck. Welcome yous all.

00:01:10.040 Thank you once again to everybody out there who watched my last pseudo Tuesday rant.

00:01:15.140 I know I missed out. My apologies once again for not showing up the Tuesday.

00:01:18.480 I was just a little too pissed off.

00:01:21.000 Thank you.

00:01:24.320 That's right, Bruce. You're good to go, buddy.

00:01:26.740 Anyhow. Yes, my apologies for missing that.

00:01:29.080 So as the title of the card says, rage, rage against the dying of the light.

00:01:33.980 One of the best poems written by a Dylan Thomas back in the 1940s.

00:01:37.540 I believe I'm not sure.

00:01:39.040 Anyhow.

00:01:41.320 It's just, it just, it just speaks for today's events, ladies and gentlemen. 0.99

00:01:44.760 I'm not going to sit and give you facts and figures and expect you all to suck eggs. 0.96

00:01:49.020 We've all watched the news. 0.99

00:01:49.980 We've all get tired of the news.

00:01:51.100 We all get tired of mainstream media at its finest.

00:01:53.420 And all the BS is being promoted.

00:01:55.080 Now, one thing that's getting to me since October 7th, since what's been happening in Israel and Hamas and Palestine and Lebanon and the Middle East in general, especially here in North America, okay?

00:02:09.660 You're still seeing an abundance of individuals sitting there waving the Palestinian flag saying free Palestine.

00:02:16.440 And you get the lefties talking about colonialism and systematic racism and systematic prejudice, and yet it's bloody obvious how much prejudice is being produced by not just one side of the conflict, but by both sides of the conflict.

00:02:35.320 You've got the sympathizers for Hamas sitting there.

00:02:38.240 Oh, my God, we've got a free Palestine.

00:02:39.640 Oh, my God, how dare you talk about Israel?

00:02:42.040 How dare you talk about the oppressed, oppression of the Muslims?

00:02:45.760 Oh, my God, how dare you?

00:02:47.160 And the outrage and the fake outrage and the virtue signaling that's coming from it, too.

00:02:51.980 Okay.

00:02:53.500 Now, Israel has done its bad bits, too.

00:02:57.320 Okay.

00:02:58.240 Israeli government has done some terrible things, too.

00:03:01.000 Okay.

00:03:02.740 But when I look at any kind of conflict, it affects both sides very well, not just the military might of one army versus another.

00:03:11.380 It affects the civilian population.

00:03:14.660 Especially little kids.

00:03:15.540 And I got a soft spot.

00:03:17.400 I don't like seeing kids go hungry.

00:03:19.440 I don't like seeing kids cry.

00:03:20.760 I don't like seeing kids suffer.

00:03:21.940 And I don't want to see kids die.

00:03:23.820 I don't want to see anybody die.

00:03:26.000 So enough of that.

00:03:27.660 So the past few days, I've really sat and I've thought about the leadership that's trying to promote the fairness and the inhumane actions on said warring factions.

00:03:38.920 And it all comes down to blaming Israel for everything. 0.52

00:03:43.980 Why is that?

00:03:47.500 Okay.

00:03:47.840 Why are we blaming Israel for everything?

00:03:50.300 When the Middle East has been a hot spot for numerous wars, numerous genocides for the better part of, let's say, 100, 200 years. 0.79

00:03:59.260 Okay.

00:03:59.740 Now, Douglas Murray.

00:04:02.640 A very, very strong, staunch intellectual out of Britain.

00:04:07.160 Wrote a couple of books.

00:04:08.220 He's written a couple of good books.

00:04:09.320 And I like watching when he's a guest on podcasts and news broadcasts because he's just straight to the point.

00:04:16.700 No holds barred.

00:04:17.920 He doesn't sugarcoat anything.

00:04:19.980 He just says it like it is.

00:04:21.480 And he made a very, very valid point on the Trigonometry podcast.

00:04:25.700 If you guys watch that, those guys are awesome.

00:04:28.320 I love watching Trigonometry.

00:04:29.460 And I'm at work.

00:04:30.040 I'll put their podcast on and I'll list what they have to say.

00:04:33.400 And it's just downright realistic. 0.66

00:04:36.520 You know, anyway, Karen Douglas Murray, he made a point of saying with all the wars and the Civil War factions that have been happening in the Middle East for, you know, the better part of 60 years, how many people were protesting the streets when Muslims were killing Muslims? 0.78

00:04:50.280 Right.

00:04:50.880 Something to think about.

00:04:51.700 How many people were raging in college campuses and protesting in cities like Sydney and London and Toronto and Montreal and New York and Los Angeles?

00:05:02.860 How many people were protesting the endless slaughter that certain Muslims were committing towards each other, each other, sorry, the Yemeni, the Civil War, the Syrian Civil War? 0.58

00:05:15.140 Everyone had their hearts and homes open to bring in Syrian refugees.

00:05:18.340 That's fine.

00:05:19.880 Everyone had their hearts open to bring in more refugees from certain conflicts.

00:05:24.100 It's fine.

00:05:25.080 But how many battles, how many onslaughts and massacres have happened in every one of these countries over the past 50 years?

00:05:34.180 And yet we had the bleeding hearts.

00:05:36.980 Taking the side of Hamas. 0.89

00:05:38.900 You see the contrast there, ladies and gentlemen?

00:05:41.380 Right. 0.99

00:05:41.600 I am not disenfranchising the Jewish people, nor am I disenfranchising the Palestinians, but I'll disenfranchise Hamas, Hezbollah, ISIS, and the fucking Al-Qaeda and Taliban because they're all in the same boat. 0.99

00:05:58.140 OK, now this trend that's going on with TikTok, apparently Osama bin Laden's letter to America and all these kids are going, rah, rah, rah. 0.99

00:06:07.800 Why?

00:06:09.800 Half of you kids weren't even around when 9-11 happened.

00:06:14.140 OK, you weren't even born. 0.99

00:06:16.220 You weren't even a twinkle in your mother's eye when that shit happened. 1.00

00:06:20.360 Yet you're sitting there going, rah, rah, rah about it. 1.00

00:06:22.820 Why?

00:06:24.500 Right?

00:06:24.840 You don't like the democratic choices you have.

00:06:27.300 You don't like the possibilities and the opportunities you have.

00:06:30.620 I would like to ask some of these women in these college campuses, you know, especially the ones who identify as women. 0.99

00:06:37.740 OK, you know, preferably the non-binary types. 0.96

00:06:42.400 Anyhow, sorry, brain fart there.

00:06:44.800 You know what I'm saying.

00:06:46.980 And ask yourselves this.

00:06:49.140 How would you be treated in a country like Afghanistan? 0.55

00:06:52.360 How would you be treated in Palestine?

00:06:54.940 How would you be treated in Saudi Arabia?

00:06:57.180 How would you be treated in Yemen?

00:06:58.620 How would you be treated in any of those Arab countries?

00:07:03.640 How would you be treated there?

00:07:06.120 While you're sitting there waving the flag of Palestine and praising the efforts of Hamas, how do you think you'd be treated?

00:07:12.140 Think about that for a second.

00:07:16.020 I highly suggest you have a conversation with some Afghani women that fled Afghanistan in the 80s and the 90s, especially after the Soviet incursion failed and the Soviets left.

00:07:28.620 Before the fall of the Soviet Union, go out and talk to some women that left Afghanistan at that time, and they'll tell you how they were treated.

00:07:37.500 OK, so while you sit there and you tote the virtue of apparently supporting the little guy, right?

00:07:49.120 Think about that.

00:07:51.200 Those individuals that say, you know, the queers for Palestine. 0.98

00:07:54.800 OK.

00:07:56.160 How have homosexuals been treated in those countries?

00:08:00.360 Think about that.

00:08:01.540 It's something to ponder, ladies and gentlemen.

00:08:06.940 So when these individuals tote their virtue and talk about freedom and safety and, oh, my goodness, they have a right to exist.

00:08:13.640 Yes, everybody has a right to exist.

00:08:17.420 That's blatantly obvious.

00:08:19.520 Right.

00:08:20.060 Everyone has the right.

00:08:22.740 To be who they want, as far as I'm concerned.

00:08:26.620 But there are powers on the left side of the spectrum and still a few hanging on to the right. 0.93

00:08:31.540 They want to change that fucking dynamic all over again and reshape and remold us as we sit and speak today. 0.72

00:08:39.880 So don't let this war in the Middle East. 0.99

00:08:43.680 You know, screw your judgment when it comes to how we have to live in the West.

00:08:48.740 And how good you've had it in the West.

00:08:51.960 Yeah.

00:08:52.200 Every democracy has had their flaws.

00:08:54.460 Every democracy has had their upheaval when it comes to civil rights and social aspects of our lives.

00:09:03.320 Right.

00:09:06.000 Like I've heard of people laugh at our country.

00:09:09.040 And in a way, I don't blame them because we have leadership in this country that does not take anything seriously.

00:09:15.560 They take a lot for granted.

00:09:18.240 Like our money.

00:09:19.200 Like our resources.

00:09:20.460 Like the votes.

00:09:22.640 But that's starting to change slowly.

00:09:25.120 Time will tell.

00:09:27.560 Stay updated.

00:09:28.740 And follow Krusty Canuck on Facebook, Twitter, Gap, Telegram, YouTube, and Podbean.

00:09:38.640 And welcome back, ladies and gentlemen, to episode 243, Rage, Rage Against the Dying of the Light.

00:09:47.980 And I use that title very effectively because when I read that poem, it's about dying and not letting go and trying to live the best life you can.

00:09:54.660 And trying to fight for the light somewhere, somehow.

00:09:59.860 Trying to keep focused on the big prize.

00:10:03.300 You know, trying to keep focused on what is good for you as an individual.

00:10:07.600 What is good for your loved ones, your family, assuming you have a family, assuming you have a loved one.

00:10:13.760 But even if you're single, what is good for you?

00:10:16.880 Okay.

00:10:17.900 I'd like to say that North America has had its opportunities for a very, very long time. 0.90

00:10:22.820 And regardless of the flaws that both of our countries, Canada, the United States, and Mexico, has had over the past, let's say, 60 years for shits and giggles.

00:10:33.220 Whether they're just wars or unjust wars or inflations or unjust inflations or the ridiculous taxation that all three of our countries have encountered.

00:10:43.080 There's still opportunity there for everybody.

00:10:46.980 Okay.

00:10:47.120 So, when you wave this flag of said country that supports Hamas and Hezbollah, are you really making a difference? 0.79

00:10:57.400 Are you really, really standing up for what's right?

00:11:02.600 Are you? 1.00

00:11:03.360 Or are you going to become a useful idiot? 1.00

00:11:09.380 Right? 1.00

00:11:10.260 Are you so locked in this post-modernist ideology where everything is just a myth and you can just change your gender like that and change your mind just like that? 0.83

00:11:20.440 And then once you leave college or university and you've done your protest and you've done your activism, all of a sudden, somewhere, you're entitled to magic.

00:11:30.800 You're entitled to wonderful things because you've studied so hard and you've got that piece of paper that says you're brilliant and you're so much better than guys like myself and everybody else that questions your status quo?

00:11:46.360 No.

00:11:46.880 So, to the young generation that's listening to this podcast, if you are listening to this podcast, tell yourself this when you get up in the morning every day.

00:11:56.840 I will persevere because I'm not entitled.

00:12:01.200 I'm not special.

00:12:03.060 I'm just me.

00:12:06.320 And to make this day shine, I got to be me and I got to put my first foot forward.

00:12:12.300 It doesn't matter if you start on your left or your right.

00:12:15.300 It's that simple.

00:12:16.880 And things will come along.

00:12:19.460 Things will come along when you work for it. 1.00

00:12:21.860 Because before you know it, you work at a shit job. 0.99

00:12:24.760 You might have a supervisor that looks at you and says, huh, this guy or gal or this person who identifies as whatever. 1.00

00:12:30.920 I'll give you more responsibility and give you a couple extra bucks an hour, more.

00:12:38.600 So, every two weeks when you get your pay, you got a few more dollars because you've earned something.

00:12:42.840 What do you know?

00:12:43.620 You've actually merited for something the next level rather than just handed a B average or an A average because you're there.

00:12:50.140 What do you know?

00:12:52.760 And then you can persevere.

00:12:54.560 And you can enjoy the capitalism that we've enjoyed where you can put money away.

00:12:58.660 But because of our government decisions to keep borrowing money and keep printing money and handing it out left and right.

00:13:06.920 But, no pun intended, guys like myself, my wife, my family, have to pay extra taxes. 0.96

00:13:14.040 So, don't tell yourself that you're entitled to a goddamn thing because you're not. 0.95

00:13:20.880 Right? 0.99

00:13:21.900 If anyone's entitled to anything, it's infants. 0.98

00:13:25.580 If anyone else is entitled to anything, it's the seniors that need assistance. 1.00

00:13:29.420 The rest of us, we got to get along.

00:13:32.680 The rest of us have got to persevere.

00:13:34.980 The rest of us have to use clarity and context to its finest ability.

00:13:41.740 We make it able.

00:13:44.040 The dialogue has to be there.

00:13:46.400 It's that simple.

00:13:48.220 Right?

00:13:49.380 Because we're getting to a point now where we keep pushing ourselves or getting pushed into corners.

00:13:55.400 And when you push a dog into a corner, you get one of two things.

00:14:01.040 One, you get submission. 1.00

00:14:03.940 You get fucking bit. 0.98

00:15:32.340 So we're going to have a special segment of everyone's favorite.

00:15:36.980 That's right.

00:15:37.600 You guessed it. 1.00

00:15:40.740 The Canadian Polar Vortex of Bullshit. 1.00

00:15:45.940 That's right, ladies and gentlemen. 1.00

00:15:47.400 Canadian Polar Vortex of Bullshit. 1.00

00:15:50.020 Yes, yes, yes. 1.00

00:15:51.900 That's right.

00:15:54.440 And with some heavy-hearted consideration.

00:15:56.620 And some real, real deep brainstorming over the past few days.

00:16:04.940 I guess you've seen some of the news reports. 0.95

00:16:07.940 This Canadian Polar Vortex of Bullshit award goes to none other than, wait for it, 0.95

00:16:14.760 Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister of Canada, Miss Christa Freeland, one more time. 0.97

00:16:23.500 That's right, ladies and gentlemen.

00:16:25.440 That's right.

00:16:26.120 Miss Christa Freeland.

00:16:27.940 Yes, yes, Miss Freeland. 0.99

00:16:30.020 So, once again, you have been fortunate enough to win the coveted Canadian Polar Vortex of Bullshit award.

00:16:37.080 Can you please tell this audience how you really feel? 0.78

00:16:41.500 Let me be perfectly clear, Canada.

00:16:44.300 Do you have any more than taxes and perhaps some cocaine for me?

00:16:51.860 Oh, well, well, well, Miss Freeland.

00:16:54.040 No, not on me.

00:16:57.080 I could probably call somebody for you, if you like, to get you, you know, your fix, per se.

00:17:04.320 But, really, I wouldn't, you know, I wouldn't be proud of that kind of bragging.

00:17:13.640 But, please, do you have anything else to add to winning the coveted Polar Vortex of Bullshit award? 0.69

00:17:19.780 I'm so happy I could just shout.

00:17:22.320 Well, yeah, that's what happens.

00:17:25.140 You do too much cocaine, and that's what happens.

00:17:27.580 You lie to people.

00:17:28.480 But, nonetheless, well done, madam. 0.99

00:17:30.520 Well done for winning another Canadian Polar Vortex of Bullshit award. 0.99

00:17:35.960 Give yourself a round of clap. 0.99

00:17:37.960 Hope you're happy. 0.99

00:17:38.700 And I hope to God, next election, or somewhere down the line, you actually get fired, you're dismissed, or you have to retire in shame because of your bloody, bloody incompetence and your condescending remarks to the Canadian taxpayer. 0.99

00:17:54.440 Well done, madam, once again. 0.98

00:17:55.660 One round of applause and another round of clap for Miss Freeland, everybody.

00:17:59.200 Well done.

00:18:00.020 Well done on you.

00:18:01.580 And I hope to God you get the hell out of politics because you just, you fail.

00:18:27.780 That's right.

00:18:28.140 Rage, rage, rage against the dying of the light.

00:18:31.300 That's right, ladies and gentlemen.

00:18:32.380 Now, you've seen Miss Freeland's recent, I don't know, her recent press conferences are just terrible. 0.98

00:18:38.320 Well, I haven't queued a video up for it, ladies and gentlemen, but you've seen some of her recent press conferences and she's kind of twitching and moving her head around and just squirrely, squirrely, squirrely.

00:18:48.260 You would think that she have to pee or is she high on something? 1.00

00:18:51.560 She's definitely high on something or she just doesn't give a royal rat's ass to say. 0.98

00:18:56.560 But yeah, I think she's deserved that award very, very, very well because, well, she's just not together. 0.94

00:19:05.500 And regardless of her so-called edumacation, her background in business journalism and her lovey-dovey relationship with Mr. Suros and, of course, her seat on the World Economic Forum speaks for itself, ladies and gentlemen.

00:19:19.560 Anyway, carrying on with this episode's rage, rage against the dying of the light.

00:19:26.600 It's a metaphor that tells us we're getting into some really, really dark places and we've got to fight for the answers and fight for the truth, ladies and gentlemen.

00:19:36.160 We have to do better when it comes to these accusations.

00:19:42.220 I'm all for free speech.

00:19:43.380 I'm all for everybody getting out there protesting.

00:19:45.960 Freedom of assembly, peaceful assembly, freedom of association, do what you want.

00:19:49.980 But you see in every major city, especially here in Canada, with the protests against Jewish businesses.

00:19:56.800 Is that right?

00:20:00.760 When there are Jewish students that are afraid to go out, to go to their classes or to go here or to go there because they're afraid it might be chased down.

00:20:10.600 Because my American listeners, I'm sure you can relate to this too.

00:20:14.460 We've seen this in what, New York City and in California and Los Angeles.

00:20:19.480 How is that right?

00:20:23.900 How is that allowed, right?

00:20:26.000 Like I said, I believe in free speech.

00:20:28.260 By all means, I believe in free speech.

00:20:30.500 Freedom of expression, be you, do you, I do me, all that good stuff.

00:20:35.020 But when you see a lot of this hatred, and then not even a year ago, you get these advocates saying,

00:20:39.960 we have to stop hate speech.

00:20:41.480 We have to stop this hateful conversation.

00:20:43.860 We have to do all these wonderful things just to stamp out hate.

00:20:48.040 But yet, some of these groups, the same groups, can go out and promote said hatred.

00:20:53.720 Right?

00:20:54.080 Because it's the current thing. 0.97

00:20:56.000 Well, can you slap them upside the head and say, hello, contradiction? 0.97

00:20:59.760 Right? 0.98

00:21:00.220 I guess we can't.

00:21:01.700 Because that would just be too mean.

00:21:03.320 That's too much toxic masculinity.

00:21:05.740 Oh, what's the world coming to?

00:21:07.660 It's coming to an unrealistic platform.

00:21:12.420 And it's up to you and me, your friends, my friends, to make it realistic again.

00:21:20.420 Okay?

00:21:22.020 Like I said earlier in the show, how many of these individuals actually appreciate where they live and what they're doing?

00:21:28.180 How many of these individuals are taking the time to really appreciate what they have?

00:21:33.940 Right?

00:21:34.160 See, I laugh when people say about colonialism.

00:21:39.920 Okay, yeah.

00:21:40.640 North America was a colony of somewhat, of something at one time.

00:21:46.720 Mexico was a colony of Spain.

00:21:49.600 The United States was a colony of Britain.

00:21:51.260 Canada was a colony of Britain and France.

00:21:55.200 They had a war in the 1750s. 0.96

00:21:57.640 Britain kicked France's ass and took over what's now known as Canada. 0.97

00:22:03.380 So, we have this dilemma here. 0.99

00:22:06.560 Why are you holding on to things from like 100, 200 years ago when you should be holding on to things that are going on right now?

00:22:13.600 It goes up there with those individuals that want reparations for something that never happened to them.

00:22:19.340 And you expect people to pay reparations from people that never did anything wrong to you.

00:22:25.680 Right? 0.97

00:22:26.400 So, we got to stop this victimhood bullshit. 0.99

00:22:30.500 Okay? 0.99

00:22:30.900 Okay?

00:22:32.600 I worked for Italians who come to Canada with nothing. 0.99

00:22:36.100 I also worked for Greeks.

00:22:37.400 I worked for Asians.

00:22:38.500 I worked for Chinese and Japanese.

00:22:41.100 That started from ground zero here in North America.

00:22:46.340 And they never once complained to me about how bad Canada was and how colonial it was.

00:22:52.520 Their biggest concern was the language barrier, but they learned pretty quick.

00:22:56.980 Right?

00:22:57.760 Their biggest concern was making sure that their kids had enough to eat.

00:23:01.080 And that they can keep the lights on and feed their families and live a good life based on the merits of their labors.

00:23:08.360 Not based on any kind of victimhood they projected.

00:23:12.120 Because they weren't victims.

00:23:13.740 They were hardworking people.

00:23:15.960 That raised good and loyal, hardworking people.

00:23:20.480 That turned around and had kids and raised hardworking people and so on and so on.

00:23:24.700 Meanwhile, they still kept their identities.

00:23:27.040 They were proud of their Italian heritage.

00:23:28.640 They were proud of their Greek heritage.

00:23:29.860 They were proud of their Chinese heritage, Japanese heritage.

00:23:32.320 Some were Irish.

00:23:33.100 Some were Scottish.

00:23:33.760 Some were English.

00:23:35.760 Right?

00:23:36.000 My background, my ancestors come from Ireland and Scotland.

00:23:40.900 Does that mean I knock on the door of an Englishman I know and say,

00:23:43.680 Oi, you owe me £2.50 or £2.50?

00:23:46.740 No.

00:23:48.620 I've got no issue towards the English for what happened in history.

00:23:52.540 I've got no issues towards any race or any culture for what happened in history.

00:23:57.560 But certain cultures and traditions should be put in the back burner when it comes to living your life 0.65

00:24:04.260 and doing the best you can to help each other out at the best of your abilities.

00:24:09.120 It's that simple.

00:24:10.860 But, of course, it's not that simple because there's still a lot of pride in the way.

00:24:15.000 A lot of pride behind me.

00:24:16.800 Why?

00:24:17.260 Because I fought for this country.

00:24:19.460 A lot of pride with my American friends.

00:24:21.240 Why?

00:24:21.540 Because they fought for their country.

00:24:23.480 A lot of pride with my Australian friends because they fought for their country.

00:24:26.040 Or their country.

00:24:27.560 A lot of pride with my English, my Scottish and Irish friends.

00:24:30.600 Why?

00:24:30.860 Because they all took the time to stand up for their country what they thought was right.

00:24:35.980 But in no way in my life and in my adventures did I see anybody go out of their way to harm another person

00:24:42.480 because of their faith or because of the colour of their skin or their gender

00:24:47.260 or their gender spectrum identity or whatever the fuck you want to call it now. 0.95

00:24:51.900 Because the rules keep changing every time we turn around. 0.75

00:24:53.920 Because it's about accommodating a handful of people that might get hurt.

00:24:57.560 Well, get on with it because life can hurt.

00:25:02.340 Life can be tough.

00:25:04.500 Life can be difficult.

00:25:06.820 You're not impartial to that.

00:25:09.520 No one's impartial to never be offended.

00:25:12.720 No one's impartial to never get hurt.

00:25:16.940 It's one of a human dynamics.

00:25:18.980 You learn how to mourn with loss.

00:25:20.740 You learn how to mourn with a breakup.

00:25:25.500 You learn how to mourn when your favourite team loses.

00:25:28.360 Or your favourite actor dies.

00:25:30.100 Or gets kicked off a show.

00:25:31.580 Come on, people.

00:25:32.920 Wake the F up.

00:25:34.240 So when you sit and you listen to these protesters gallivanting around, wanting this and wanting that,

00:25:44.120 listen carefully.

00:25:46.620 Listen very carefully.

00:25:48.240 And then make it a valuable, a viable judgment.

00:25:59.020 All these people that say, oh, we have to end hatred.

00:26:02.620 Well, we have to end bigotry.

00:26:04.140 Yeah, that should stop.

00:26:05.480 And racism.

00:26:06.280 Yeah, that should stop.

00:26:07.340 But you're going to love a lot.

00:26:10.420 And sometimes in your life you might hate a lot.

00:26:15.120 But it depends on what you love and it depends on what you hate.

00:26:18.120 I hate taxes.

00:26:19.600 I think that it's just thievery.

00:26:22.420 Minimal taxes are good to keep things running.

00:26:25.500 But everything else should belong to you.

00:26:27.840 Everything you work for.

00:26:29.600 I hate it when it's minus 30 outside with a windchill of minus 45.

00:26:33.340 But that's the weather.

00:26:35.760 But I hate it when politicians put legislation forward

00:26:38.880 to saying, we're going to take more money than you because we can change that.

00:26:42.280 Oh, yes.

00:26:43.380 Saviors.

00:26:43.880 We're saviors.

00:26:45.060 No.

00:26:46.600 I hate when people insult our intelligence.

00:26:49.320 As I mentioned, Miss Krista Freeland insulting our intelligence 1.00

00:26:52.500 every time she takes a podium,

00:26:54.140 every time she's supposed to answer questions to the media 0.90

00:26:56.620 and to the masses that are watching,

00:26:59.240 especially to her constituents.

00:27:01.920 When she says things like, let me be perfectly clear. 0.99

00:27:05.540 You should be clear right from the fucking get-go. 0.97

00:27:07.620 It's not a matter of you asking permission to do so. 0.99

00:27:10.480 You should just fucking do it. 0.99

00:27:12.200 It's that simple. 1.00

00:27:13.640 Right?

00:27:15.720 Once again, ladies and gentlemen, this is episode 243 of the Krusty Neck podcast.

00:27:20.660 Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

00:27:24.300 Let us rage.

00:27:25.000 Let us rage with our words.

00:27:28.300 Let us rage with our pens and our pencils and our keyboards

00:27:32.660 without looking like those memes that go around with some purple-haired freak 0.98

00:27:36.920 with man boobs having a Twinkie saying, 1.00

00:27:39.380 hey, that bothers me. 0.99

00:27:41.860 You know what I mean?

00:27:43.560 Anyhow, ladies and gentlemen, I have been Krusty Canuck

00:27:45.080 on this beautiful 18th of November, 2023.

00:27:48.620 I will be around for a Tuesday rant,

00:27:51.000 a proper Tuesday rant this coming Tuesday.

00:27:52.900 As always, I wish good things for you all out there to do what you can,

00:27:56.700 help you out in these trying times.

00:27:58.520 Weather is somewhat moderate here.

00:28:00.620 Surprisingly enough, we've had some decent temperatures here.

00:28:03.160 Today, when I was in town doing some shopping,

00:28:05.620 it was about 14 degrees Celsius.

00:28:09.600 So, my American friends, I think that's roughly about 50 degrees,

00:28:13.740 maybe, Fahrenheit.

00:28:15.220 I don't know.

00:28:15.480 I don't have my conversion here with me.

00:28:16.840 But it's still moderate for this time of year.

00:28:19.180 Anyway, still pretty good.

00:28:20.240 Anyway, like I said, I wish nothing but good things for you all out there.

00:28:24.820 Try to keep your chin up, per se.

00:28:28.320 To my British listeners, you know,

00:28:29.880 I've had a couple of emails recently that they like it when I say that.

00:28:35.100 I like it when he says that, right?

00:28:36.680 That's it.

00:28:38.140 Keep your chin up.

00:28:39.060 Yes, of course.

00:28:40.300 Yes.

00:28:41.080 But to everybody else out there,

00:28:43.140 do what you can to help you out in these trying times.

00:28:45.060 Be civil.

00:28:46.540 And like I say, look at all these protests with a fine-tooth comb.

00:28:49.980 And take what you want as you can,

00:28:52.260 from what you think is the right thing to do.

00:28:55.420 But don't fall for the false narrative and the false victimhoods.

00:29:00.460 Okay?

00:29:01.400 Don't fall for it.

00:29:02.480 Because we are better than that. 0.94

00:29:04.560 Far fucking better than that.

00:29:06.440 And thank you once again to the kind of emails I did receive from my last show. 0.78

00:29:10.260 Thank you very much.

00:29:11.260 Thank you once again to the fine people at Northern Perspective,

00:29:13.280 Cypher and Fox, for your shout-outs.

00:29:15.260 And check out their channel as well, too.

00:29:17.940 Check out This Guy's Garage.

00:29:19.840 And check out Diotalk.

00:29:21.460 Links will be in my description to follow their work, respectively, at your leisure.

00:29:26.320 And if you want to donate, please feel like,

00:29:28.240 if you feel like donating, donate.

00:29:29.520 Links will be in the description as well, too.

00:29:32.820 And just keep in mind, just be good to your friends and your family.

00:29:37.940 And try to be good to yourself, too, once in a while.

00:29:41.500 Go get yourself that beer if you want one.

00:29:43.500 Go get yourself that steak if you want one.

00:29:45.800 Just, you know, be good to yourself.

00:29:49.160 And we can get through this.

00:29:50.520 We will.

00:29:51.960 But like I say, ladies and gentlemen,

00:29:52.860 I have been Krusty Canuck on this beautiful 18th November, 2023.

00:29:56.640 All the best to yous out there, too.

00:29:58.400 If I don't see yous,

00:29:59.980 happy Thanksgiving to my American listeners out there.

00:30:02.720 All the best in your Turkey Day.

00:30:04.160 Get all the stuffing and potatoes and gravy that you can.

00:30:08.380 Enjoy yourselves and be thankful for what you have.

00:30:11.580 I know I am.

00:30:12.760 And I try to count my blessings every day.

00:30:15.040 And so should you.

00:30:16.500 Anyway, I will see yous on Tuesday for a Tuesday rant.

00:30:20.820 And like I always say, ladies and gentlemen,

00:30:22.820 humanity and merit wins the day.

00:30:25.920 Take care and I'll see yous Tuesday.

00:30:27.180 Bye for now.

00:30:27.680 Hit it, sweetheart. 1.00

00:30:33.640 Because I am hard, you will not like me.

00:30:36.460 Yes, sir.

00:30:40.060 There is no racial bigotry here.

00:30:44.700 There you are all.

00:30:45.880 This has been another episode of the Krusty Canuck podcast.

00:30:52.800 Stay safe.
