00:02:23.460
taxes if you've heard me rant and rage and ramble on already in the last couple episodes about taxes
00:02:28.500
but it's still looming in the world of the canadian working class person all persons all colors and
00:02:35.080
creeds that's right because come this april 1st ladies and gentlemen taxes are going up that's right
00:02:40.400

00:02:46.820
call me judy here we go again with more money going out to the top big wigs while the rest of us
00:02:53.000
still effing struggle isn't that just fantastic said nobody anyway there's a little monologue i want
00:03:01.520
to put on here for you ladies and gentlemen it comes from the likes of a mr peter finch who passed
00:03:07.440
away back in january of 1977 however he was a classically trained shakespearean actor from
00:03:12.580
britain and he won an academy award for this role his in a movie called network quite the interesting
00:03:19.380
monologue and i highly suggest you all listen to it ladies and gentlemen and take into consideration
00:03:23.900
how he explains the dire situation of that time now in the 70s there was economic strife there was no
00:03:30.420
crisis there was wars there was famine there was pain chaos blah blah blah blah blah but you also can
00:03:36.020
kind of see the similarities of that decade and how this movie was presented to the masses
00:03:41.880
and what's going on now okay ladies and gentlemen so please take in consideration listen to exactly what
00:03:49.340
mr finch's character has to say i think his reference his name was called harry b he plays a character
00:03:56.120
harry b a broadcaster for a defunct kind of or almost poor broadcasting corporation that was trying to find
00:04:05.200
its way and because of his monologue and everything he impressed the masses and made lots of money
00:04:10.560
but you decide ladies and gentlemen like i say submitted for your approval you decide and
00:04:17.200
take what you can from this i have watched this monologue a few times and it's really really
00:04:23.500
interesting how it works but like i say you decide ladies and gentlemen let's cue my end up here
00:04:32.220
things are bad everybody knows things are bad it's a depression everybody's out of work or scared of
00:04:41.540
losing their job the dollar buys a nickel's worth banks are going bust shopkeepers keep a gun under the
00:04:48.420
counter punks are running wild in the street there's nobody anywhere who seems to know what to do and
00:04:52.820
there's no end to it we know the air is unfit to breathe and our food is unfit to eat we sit watching
00:05:00.720
our tvs while some local newscaster tells us that today we had 15 homicides and 63 violent crimes as
00:05:07.060
if that's the way it's supposed to be we know things are bad worse than bad they're crazy it's like
00:05:12.680
everything everywhere is going crazy so we don't go out anymore we sit in the house and slowly the world
00:05:17.640
we're living in is getting smaller and all we say is please at least leave us alone in our living rooms
00:05:22.660
let me have my toaster and my tv and my steel belted radios and i won't say anything just leave us alone
00:05:28.120
well i'm not going to leave you alone i want you to get mad i don't want you to protest i don't want you
00:05:34.500
to ride i don't want you to write to your congressman because i wouldn't know what to tell you to write
00:05:37.940
i don't know what to do about the depression and the inflation and the russians and the crime in the street
00:05:42.620
all i know is that first you've got to get mad you've got to say i'm a human being god damn it
00:05:50.300
so i want you to get up now i want all of you to get up out of your chairs
00:06:00.480
i want you to get up right now and go to the window open it and stick your head out and yell
00:06:07.880
i'm as mad as hell and i'm not going to take this anymore
00:06:12.040
i want you to get up right now get up go to your windows open them and stick your head out and yell
00:06:19.840
i'm as mad as hell and i'm not going to take this anymore things have got to change
00:06:24.240
how many stations does this go out of your chair
00:06:28.680
i'm not going to take this anymore then we'll figure out what to do about the depression and the inflation and the oil crisis
00:06:34.500
but first get up out of your chairs open the window stick your head out and yell and say
00:06:40.140
i'm as mad as hell and i'm not going to take this anymore
00:06:49.740
but first you've got to get mad you've got to say
00:06:52.920
i'm as mad as hell and i'm not going to take this anymore
00:07:05.080
stick your head out of the window open it and stick your head out and keep yelling and yell
00:07:09.480
i'm as mad as hell i'm not going to take this anymore
00:07:13.400
just get up from your chairs right now go to where you going i don't want to see if anybody's yelling
00:07:18.280
open it and stick your head out and yell and keep yelling
00:07:21.720
i'm as mad as hell i'm not going to take it anymore
00:07:35.160
i'm mad as hell i'm not going to take it anymore
00:08:52.600
I'm not taking this anymore, regardless of what the ratings say,
00:08:59.460
regardless of what the schemes say, people losing your jobs, and for what?
00:09:06.180
We've got Bill C-63 on the table right now that's going to be read in Parliament
00:09:11.160
in regards to hate speech and crimes and all that good stuff,
00:09:16.660
What it's going to do, it's going to cost you money if you say something
00:09:19.780
and somebody anonymous complains, the Human Rights Commission,
00:09:23.760
doesn't matter if it's the province or the federal human rights,
00:09:26.160
and you get prosecuted and persecuted and might have to pay a fine
00:09:32.960
Look at all the protests going on now against Israel and against Hamas.
00:09:36.700
Look at all the protests that are happening for what's going on
00:09:40.780
We have a federal government that sits in its hands
00:09:42.440
and takes a lot of money from you and me to tell us what to do.
00:09:49.720
How many governments told other people what to do all the time?
00:09:52.740
It doesn't matter if it's Pierre Elliott Trudeau,
00:09:56.760
or Jerry Ford, I believe, who was the United States President back in 76,
00:10:00.780
I think just prior to Jimmy Carter being elected.
00:10:02.940
So it puts things in perspective, ladies and gentlemen,
00:10:19.520
Look at the inflationary stats then, the unemployment rate then,
00:10:22.360
the gas prices then, based on the earning power of the average person.
00:10:31.400
These are the powers that be calling the shots for us.
00:10:34.460
What we spend our money on, what we do, how we pick our nose,
00:10:37.720
who we sleep with, all that good stuff, all in the name of progress.
00:10:41.920
So I highly suggest people get out there and be mad as hell,
00:10:47.380
Stay updated and follow Krusty Canuck on Facebook, Twitter, Gap,
00:11:01.400
And welcome back, ladies and gentlemen, to this beautiful Tuesday rant
00:11:10.440
And I'm going to get the CBC part here in a second and one more time.
00:11:13.600
If you'd like to hear what you see, please click like and subscribe
00:11:15.440
and share this content all over your social media platforms, too.
00:11:18.320
Do not forget to give me a comment or two, engage a conversation,
00:11:22.640
get the algorithm going, so Canadian content can get out there to the masses,
00:11:26.400
to every Canadian or anybody else in the world who wants to see it, too.
00:11:29.760
And I'm very grateful for the subscribers I have had recently,
00:11:35.620
And thank you once again to the people at Podbean for downloading my show
00:11:44.600
Special thank you out there to my friends at Northern Perspective,
00:11:46.700
Radio Reaction, Vesper, Marty Up North, and all those great guys on YouTube
00:11:54.380
The more Canadians check out Canadian content, the easier it's going to be
00:11:56.740
to stick it to the men and women out there who want to stifle
00:12:00.880
and censor what we have to say, ladies and gentlemen.
00:12:02.560
It takes wonderful people like yourselves out there to make that happen.
00:12:09.720
So as this Tuesday rant says, of course, CBC pay hikes
00:12:14.400
So here's a story I'll just read along from the National Post
00:12:16.860
in regards to what the CBC is doing with our tax money yet again.
00:12:25.740
They're trying to tell us once again how their jobs are so important
00:12:29.460
and yet they fail to realize their irrelevance.
00:12:35.080
So I'll just read this article along with you all here.
00:12:45.740
And this is from the fine people at National Post.
00:12:49.360
Basically dictating to all of us how important their jobs are
00:12:54.520
because, you know, they provide valuable information
00:12:59.120
So CBC gives $15 million in bonuses and a few months later cut 800 jobs report.
00:13:07.220
So CBC President and Chief Executive Officer Catherine Tate waits to appear
00:13:13.640
She was in Ottawa discussing her plight in her case.
00:13:17.500
Just months after the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation announced
00:13:19.740
it would be cutting 800 jobs, access to information records obtained
00:13:23.480
by the Canadian Taxpayers Federation, show the Crown Corporation handed out
00:13:33.640
Since 2015, the CBC has issued $114 million in bonuses.
00:13:37.900
According to the Federation, CBC President Catherine Tate
00:13:40.640
is wrong to hand out bonuses while announcing hundreds of job losses
00:13:44.180
and begging the government for more taxpayer cash,
00:13:48.480
Tate won't do the right thing, so the Canadian Heritage Minister,
00:13:52.780
Pascal Saint-Ange, needs to step up and shut down these bonuses.
00:13:57.540
The records show that CBC's 7,477 employees, 1,143 CBC staffers,
00:14:04.900
took home a bonus in 2023, tolling $14,902,755.
00:14:17.800
Now, the bonus figure is only current to October 26, 2023,
00:14:22.800
meaning the final tally for the year might be even higher, too.
00:14:26.480
You know, a little slaps and tickles for your pickles there.
00:14:30.960
Here's a few extra thousand dollars for the taxpayers for you.
00:14:38.040
told the House of Commons Heritage Committee in January
00:14:40.240
that the public broadcaster faces chronic underfunding
00:14:43.700
and had to stretch limited resources to meet our mandate.
00:14:48.920
What exactly is the CBC mandate in this day and age?
00:15:02.140
I think you get my point here, ladies and gentlemen.
00:15:09.000
Tate was called to testify on executive bonuses
00:15:15.700
access to information records show that between the 1st of November 2021
00:15:27.900
most of which was to attend international conferences and meetings.
00:15:33.800
Tate added the bonus pay is a key part of the total compensation
00:15:43.900
A second document obtained by the CTF shows that the 2023-24 fiscal year,
00:15:49.620
6,575 employees have received raises totaling $11.5 million,
00:16:01.660
God, maybe I should have gotten to CBC and do some shows there.
00:16:12.540
the Department of Canadian Heritage announced CBC's budget for 2024 and 2025
00:16:16.860
would increase by $96 million to a total of $1.4 billion.
00:16:28.520
The $96.1 million increase was attributed mostly to salary increases
00:16:32.780
following the ratification of collective agreements.
00:16:38.380
I'll leave this link in my description for you.
00:17:02.540
How many great shows does the CBC put on the air right now?
00:17:06.820
How many great shows has the CBC had, let's say, over the past, say, the past 10 years?
00:17:16.640
The Royal Canadian Air Force used to put on some decent comedy at one time,
00:17:19.360
but half those individuals are now deceased, or they just don't perform anymore.
00:17:23.940
You had the likes of Schitt's Creek, which made Eugene Levy and Catherine Harris stars once
00:17:28.300
again because of their accolades to Second City and their other bodies of work.
00:17:38.060
But is that the only thing that CBC has to offer?
00:17:41.060
Based on what I've presented to you, my wonderful people, my wonderful fan base,
00:17:46.000
do you not think they could take the time to make some really kick-ass effing drama?
00:17:58.440
They're too goddamn worried about counting their pennies and worrying about their bonuses
00:18:01.260
and their image because they've got to support the Prime Minister.
00:18:11.160
Allowing their pockets so they can lick other people's ashtrays.
00:18:16.540
Stay updated and follow Krusty Canuck on Facebook, Twitter, Gap, Telegram, YouTube, and Podbean.

00:18:50.780
Thank you once again to my new subscribers on Rumble, YouTube, and Podbean.
00:18:59.180
My American listeners, thank yourselves, too, for giving me a chance.
00:19:03.320
Please promote my work down south as well if you can.
00:19:09.780
You've heard me rant and rave before about the whole tax scheme.
00:19:30.080
eight and a half to nine weeks off in the fucking summer.
00:19:43.300
God, it must be nice to have four months off a year.
00:19:46.820
I haven't had a goddamn holiday in about three years,
00:19:56.480
And I'm not saying a lavish holiday in Cuba or Mexico or somewhere warm and
00:20:00.840
sunny where I can have a margarita and sit by the beach and watch the
00:20:05.280
time off just to sit and get my shit together where I can spend some time
00:20:10.560
either amusement park or some kind of resort someplace just to chill out.
00:20:25.400
I think another 16 cents for gasoline and up to 21 cents for diesel fuel.
00:20:31.960
which is used to move the food to the grocery stores to feed our faces,
00:20:36.860
which means that our prices are going up again when it comes to grocery costs
00:20:44.000
it's about a 35 minute drive to and from if I was to time it properly,
00:20:54.560
38 minutes to get to my job in a timely manner.
00:21:02.780
And that's going to cost me at least $25 in gasoline,
00:21:14.600
We're not seeing any transparency here in regards to any kind of taxation
00:21:20.420
And it's been about six days since my last podcast.
00:21:23.200
And I haven't received an email yet from any willing MP that wants to
00:21:27.480
challenge me or debate me or to promote to me why they deserve this raise.
00:21:43.320
not because you're scared or they just don't give a flying.
00:21:47.820
it's self-explanatory then ladies and gentlemen,
00:21:51.420
So if there's any federal MPs that have to be listening or watching this
00:21:57.180
highly recommend that you take the initiative and engage me in a good
00:22:07.360
And I want you to justify to me one more time or justify to the masses,
00:22:12.260
why you deserve this raise and what you're going to do to earn it and to
00:22:29.760
And yet he doesn't want to defend the Canadian people for speaking their minds.
00:22:33.320
He'll defend this group over here who will throw stones and protest outside of
00:22:41.720
And he'll promote people waving the certain flags,
00:22:46.660
promoting this and promoting that in the middle East.
00:22:49.740
He'll also promote people using harsh language and racial slurs in regards to both sides of that
00:23:07.020
our defense minister talking about adding more money to the defense budget,
00:23:10.500
even though they cut a billion dollars already and they can't figure out why they
00:23:14.300
can't get troops or because leadership has gone to shit.
00:23:24.860
They've exchanged so-called progression for pragmatism.
00:23:33.060
I can make episode after episode about how they've treated our military,
00:23:38.400
I just got off the phone today with veterans affairs,
00:23:40.340
trying to validate and justify things again on a yearly basis.
00:23:55.700
for whom they're not doing this for the taxpayers.
00:24:11.920
if there's any MPs out there listening or watching this podcast,
00:24:17.860
We're going to have a little talk about these pay raises.
00:24:25.000
what valid solution you have to earning something like that.
00:24:30.980
When especially a lot of constituents in the writings are struggling as we
00:25:14.280
I would like to make this a full-time commitment.
00:25:16.780
there's other things I like to do full-time as well.
00:25:20.560
And I like coming out and talking to you wonderful people because you've
00:25:23.900
given me a platform and I want to keep that platform rocking and
00:25:27.140
keeping you informed to the best of my ability.
00:25:29.160
And it takes wonderful people like you to donate and make that happen.
00:25:33.020
So if you can chip in a few dollars here and there,
00:25:46.080
You've heard me rant about the CBC and global NCTV was getting,
00:26:09.500
off the net and we'll watch it or we'll watch prime or we'll watch Netflix or
00:26:17.940
I watch the news first thing in the morning before it'll work just to get
00:26:29.900
these media moguls and the mainstream media who is constantly harping for money.
00:26:34.380
They get government money and they just tow the government line because any
00:26:38.180
person knows that you don't bite the hand that feeds you,
00:26:42.740
So you're just going to do what the government says.
00:26:51.680
The federal government can brag all they want about 40,000 new jobs since January.
00:26:55.600
How many of those jobs are private sector jobs?
00:26:59.940
How many of those jobs were brought to you by the taxpayer yet again?
00:27:04.080
How many bureaucrats and admins alike are gainfully employed because you and I
00:27:08.340
work in an extra six or seven hours a day or an extra six or seven hours a week.
00:27:25.160
I am trying to formulate this podcast where I can get three episodes up a
00:27:30.080
So stay tuned to my community page for updates.
00:27:32.420
Stay tuned to my Facebook page for updates to add some technical issues
00:27:37.340
Some issues with the veterans for freedom feed.
00:27:44.360
I'm just playing email tag with the powers that be there to get some more
00:27:47.920
but you'll probably see my mug on the veterans for freedom network,
00:27:57.760
