00:02:03.040 show on tuesday well i got a little story for you ladies and gentlemen tuesday at work i had an egg

00:02:08.460 salad sandwich yes i bought it fresh from a local grocery store tasted kind of bland you know when

00:02:14.360 i make an egg salad sandwich i really really enjoy uh having proper miracle whip not mayonnaise

00:02:19.860 miracle whip made with the mix unfortunately this sandwich tasted oh well how do i else do i say it

00:02:26.140 pretty crappy pretty bland blah but about two hours later i was feeling kind of you know woozy i was like

00:02:32.280 okay maybe you know i had too much coffee or something when i got home first thing i did was uh crab

00:02:37.280 apple splatters and a little bit of uh cunning linguist with the toilet not that you wanted that

00:02:43.640 visual but you get my point so i had a little case of food poisoning there ladies and gentlemen plus

00:02:49.060 my work schedule kept me away i wasn't really getting home till about maybe six o'clock or so

00:02:53.340 at night so i was getting a little late but my apologies for those who are looking forward to

00:02:57.560 seeing a show my apologies once again uh dear real crusty here had some food poisoning anyhow carrying

00:03:03.420 the title card says ladies and gentlemen government gouge so it's been about a week or so since its

00:03:08.760 implementation of the carbon tax part two meaning gas goes up groceries goes up tobacco goes up

00:03:15.900 alcohol goes up and everything goes up all in the name of the greater good and the environment 0.99

00:03:20.440 which we both know ladies and gentlemen all of us here we know it's bullshit okay it's bullshit 0.99

00:03:27.860 because we all know that you cannot make the weather better by giving more money away or having 0.98

00:03:35.600 more money taken from you and it's funny how this comes at a time during the fiscal year where

00:03:41.420 everybody has to file their taxes in a nice neat and orderly fashion because there's people in the

00:03:45.460 cubicles of the cra and other you know government blowhards who like to get their slap and tickles for 1.00

00:03:49.960 their pickles like to get more of your money and my money too oh wow magical magical magical is

00:05:17.000 i'm not going to demand it but i appreciate if more people did and help me along the way to

00:05:21.060 make some extra money to get things paid off to keep things squared away and help me improve this

00:05:26.040 show as we go along so like i said ladies and gentlemen welcome to the episode 270 of government

00:05:31.300 gouge so carbon tax is in right we can see that the pumps already bc is paying 209 here in my area

00:05:39.420 we're about a buck 56 uh some parts of ontario about to a dollar 60 dollar 70 in some cases a buck 80

00:05:45.900 la belle provence they get a break on it but they still have to pay more too

00:05:49.360 right nova scotia newfoundland all these great little places where work is getting tighter

00:05:54.800 gas is going up so you can't sit there and say it's economically sound and benefit you and me and 0.88

00:06:00.540 my friends and our dogs and all this bullshit it's going to benefit the canadian government

00:06:06.020 right bank of canada has already said that there's going to be some issues coming up soon 0.95

00:06:10.940 bank of nova scotia also said there's going to be some issues coming up soon

00:06:14.400 so all these great economists that actually work for a banking system

00:06:17.600 who've actually had some proper training in the field of economics are telling us straight up while 0.99

00:06:22.860 the government sits there and tries to butter up a shit sandwich for us to take a bite on right 0.98

00:06:27.740 so there's something quinky dink in the works like i said it just seems coincidental that 0.99

00:06:36.320 all mps now have a pay raise there's other municipalities getting a pay raise too

00:06:41.140 taxes have gone up it's almost the start of the deadline for uh you know getting your taxes filed

00:06:47.300 because we got to run this country and encourage more fear for the weather by taking more money from

00:06:52.460 you and me you know what i mean right so another news too there ladies and gentlemen

00:06:57.120 federal government recently announced that they're going to spend roughly 73 billion dollars

00:07:03.160 over the next 20 years to help our military out so when you do the math it's roughly 3.65 billion

00:07:12.180 dollars a year that they propose right now i can give you a whole list of problems that happened

00:07:18.800 when i was in the military whole list of problems that have gone on when i left the military and a

00:07:22.660 whole list of problems that have been going on now since i left the military especially from some

00:07:27.620 serving members who give me some great insight on occasion what's going on in certain bases around this

00:07:32.620 country you know where money goes missing and people get paid and people don't get paid you 0.98

00:07:36.380 know that kind of thing you know bullshit hey 0.97

00:07:38.980 conspiracies galore well not really conspiracies just lackluster leadership and and poor well poor 0.89

00:07:48.020 organizational skills but i'm digressing here so the federal government said they want to spend 73

00:07:53.380 billion dollars on upgrading the military even though we don't have a pot to piss in right now

00:07:58.220 they've given a lot of stuff away to ukraine they get a lot of stuff away to israel giving a lot of

00:08:02.000 stuff away in the name of humanitarian efforts and of course a lot of stuff to our favorite people

00:08:07.220 you know the ccp in china the name of their infrastructure and coal production wow priorities 1.00

00:08:13.180 eh you gotta remember how justin trudeau said how much he loves china's basic dictatorship how they

00:08:19.100 can turn the economy around on a dime he should have said to turn the economy around on a dime and

00:08:23.860 how to encourage slave labor to make all these wonderful products that you and i like to use on a 0.96

00:08:28.020 daily fucking basis but again i'm digressing ladies and gentlemen there's one more reminder 0.98

00:08:32.960 too ladies and gentlemen if you like and hear what you see please click like and subscribe share this 0.76

00:08:35.980 podcast all over your social media platforms too i've looked at my stats from podbean i want to thank

00:09:20.780 canuck on facebook twitter gap telegram youtube and podbean subscribe today and donate at crusty canuck.ca

00:09:29.440 welcome back ladies and gentlemen the crusty canuck podcast i'm your host crusty canuck and this is

00:09:36.920 episode 270 of the government gouge yes i know fun times lie ahead right it's almost summertime people

00:09:44.760 are getting ready getting that spring fever going people are thinking let's go outside and play some

00:09:48.680 more but it's going to cost us more than just a few pennies to go out and play on a regular basis

00:09:53.000 my wife and i we are constantly working we were talking about our finances over this weekend ironically

00:09:58.040 enough and how things have to get paid for like i mentioned we just had to buy a brand new furnace so

00:10:02.920 we're trying to get that paid off and of course mr tax man's not going to be happy with me this year

00:10:07.760 because i defied his orders last year and i have things on retention or in in basically on hold

00:10:14.540 because i had to get some legal issues sorted out with some of the money they're trying to gouge from me

00:10:19.220 and now they're going to be gouging from other people too because you're hearing stories left and right

00:10:23.620 i don't mean the political spectrum i mean from one side of the country to the next about people all of a

00:10:28.300 sudden having to owe another five or ten or fifteen and in some cases up to about eighty thousand

00:10:34.120 dollars in some kind of clause in the income tax act in regards to back taxes or some kind of marriage

00:10:42.120 commitment or some kind of business commitment so it's going to show that these times are going to be

00:10:47.360 tough for everybody ladies and gentlemen okay i've heard stories from co-workers how they were reassessed

00:10:53.940 after they filed oh yo is an additional 10 oh yo is additional 15 not a few hundred bucks here

00:10:59.620 or a couple of thousand we're talking five or more so you can tell the cra is getting desperate 0.98

00:11:05.960 with spending because we have ass clowns in ottawa that want to keep spending spending spending 0.98

00:11:10.940 and give themselves raise upon raise upon raise with a slap and tickle for the pickle oh my goodness 0.99

00:11:17.700 when is it ever going to fucking end hate to say it folks but it's probably going to take a war to 0.95

00:11:23.120 get people back working back in that fighting spirit back in that patriotic spirit and back 0.93

00:11:27.500 to that regular adult spirit where i have to go to work to make my bills to save for the future

00:11:33.740 unfortunately there's a lot of canes out there that are working paying their bills trying to save money

00:11:39.260 but they can't because the price of our dollar is going down the worth of our dollar and the worth 0.98

00:11:44.500 of our leadership that's supposed to look after said dollars really don't give a shit but who am i right 0.80

00:11:50.220 just a reminder too ladies and gentlemen if you like and hear what you see remember click like 0.91

00:11:54.420 subscribe share this podcast all over social platforms and starting this 15th of april that's

00:12:33.940 be no more tuesday rants or thursday fat fastballs or this or that it'll just be yours truly crusty

00:12:39.840 canuck podcast three times a week all right any questions queries please do not hesitate to email me

00:12:45.340 and ask me even when you see this show uh debuted on rumble and youtube do not hesitate to ask me

00:12:51.080 anything you'd like to know too and please take advantage of the ask me buy me coffee application

00:12:57.920 there too in my description if you want to support this financially too anyway carrying on i've got a

00:13:03.280 video here from brian lilly uh from the toronto sun in regards to how much trudeau is really really

00:13:07.780 out of touch with uh the canadian spending and i'll have a video uh after too sometime during the show

00:13:12.560 the canadian taxpayers federation uh just to prove how out of touch our government really is when it

00:13:17.360 comes to the people of this country i'll just uh cue this up for you and uh it's it's just getting

00:13:23.460 monotonous ladies and gentlemen how some of these individuals especially our elected officials

00:13:29.420 constantly try to thrive to butter us up a poop sandwich when we know it's going to taste awful and

00:13:35.400 we shouldn't be eating poop but then who do i you know who am i right heaven forbid if i question

00:13:40.580 our government's ability you know it's our god-given right as far as i'm concerned i'm not

00:13:44.840 saying that uh from a religious standpoint i'm saying it from an atheatical libertarian standpoint

00:13:50.040 but needless to say oh you decide ladies and gentlemen budget date on april 16th uh and perhaps we

00:13:56.540 will save it for april 16th but we have lots more to say because we justin trudeau just can't stop the

00:14:02.040 spending hi i'm brian lilly political columnist with the toronto sun trudeau has gone across the country

00:14:07.980 over the last week and making huge spending announcements by my count just from the numbers

00:14:12.880 in the release it's 27 billion dollars now some of that is repackaged money but it's at least

00:14:18.080 10 to 17 billion dollars in new money that he's announced and that was even before his military

00:14:23.920 announcement which is now out and it's promising 8.1 billion over five years and 20 billion over more

00:14:31.320 longer time period and we're going to spend tons and tons of money on our military almost all the

00:14:37.080 money is back ended beyond the next election some of it beyond the election past that but he's going

00:14:42.840 to tell you it's big spending and it's needed of course yes we need to re-equip our military but

00:14:48.360 trudeau is spending on absolutely everything right now and then accusing pierr paliev of wanting to

00:14:54.940 bring in austerity and cuts paliev hasn't done that in fact the biggest thing he's come up with was he

00:15:00.820 wants the government to adopt a one-for-one rule you want to find a new dollar in spending you've got

00:15:05.640 to find a dollar in savings somewhere else it's not that hard to do and when past governments liberal

00:15:10.980 and conservative have activated such policies it's been really good for the country for the government

00:15:16.680 for the economy but trudeau is spending at such a rate that the bank of nova scotia is now warning hey

00:15:23.120 don't expect the bank of canada to cut interest rates anytime soon why because scotia bank is saying

00:15:30.040 that this spending will be inflationary it will lead to inflationary pressures the bank of canada

00:15:35.960 won't be able to cut interest rates because to do so would let inflation run loose in part due to all

00:15:43.080 of trudeau's spending the fact that people can't afford homes that they're struggling with their credit

00:15:48.040 that they are struggling to put food on the table all of this is driven in part by justin trudeau's

00:15:54.040 spending priorities and his answer to all of those who say that you've got to slow it down is to say

00:16:00.200 to hell with you i'm spending more i'm getting really worried about next week's budget including 0.91

00:16:05.960 the idea that we're going to have a an excess profits tax which will drive companies out of this 0.66

00:16:11.600 country and with it the jobs that you and i and our friends and family all rely on justin trudeau is

00:16:18.600 not a good economic steward he is not someone who should be running a g7 economy and the results that 1.00

00:16:25.160 he's achieved over the past eight years show it it's time for him to go let me know what you think

00:16:30.280 drop a comment down below share this on social media and don't forget to subscribe to our channel

00:16:42.760 and that was brian lilly from the toronto sun yeah he does pretty good uh some decent editorials

00:16:47.720 on occasion so he wants to spend spend spend he talks about the working class we know he's full of

00:16:55.720 it we know he's full of it we've seen it we've seen it with our inflation we've seen it with the

00:17:02.840 with the uh election interference we've seen how he's treated the members of the convoy

00:17:07.560 yet he does nothing about the protest going on in every major city where violence has prevailed where

00:17:12.440 reporters are getting arrested and people are being told to shut their mouths and carry on and let

00:17:16.760 things just go the way they're supposed to go and yet we get it up the pooch you know i guess uh

00:17:23.320 according to his party and his followers that's called progress

00:18:14.120 and if i engage you in a debate well then you either carry on with that debate or you just don't say

00:18:18.600 anything nice at all right i think we forget some of those basic principles especially what i've seen

00:18:23.640 online in recent days especially on the x feed people backing up this carbon tax people saying oh it's such

00:18:29.320 a great thing we have to punish polluters we have to punish polluters and you're right we should punish

00:18:35.400 polluters we should punish people that pour nasty things into our rivers into our lakes and bury

00:18:41.080 things in our fields and forget about it let's punish the people that want to bury those turbines 0.98

00:18:46.760 when they're done let's punish the people that want to bury those solar panels and smash them up

00:18:51.560 and leave them in landfills for them not to break down let's punish the big companies that do put bad

00:18:57.800 things into rivers and into lakes but let let us not i say again let us not punish people that drive

00:19:05.160 a car to work or drive a truck to work or drive a truck for a living that bring groceries and desired

00:19:11.000 goods to all the masses hey there's an idea ah see yeah what an idea and let's punish the politicians

00:19:21.160 that take the canadian dollars invest it in third world dictatorships or invest it in communist

00:19:25.800 parties such as the ccp and you know you know trudeau's little buddy there castro and his regime down 1.00

00:19:33.080 in cuba right and the shitheads in venezuela they're making people eat out of dumpsters let's punish them 0.99

00:19:40.360 oh great idea 0.99

00:19:46.680 right to those individuals out there that are protesting against israel i get it okay i also understand too that

00:19:54.200 that war is terrible war is not sexy war is not fun and to have you kids out there waving this flag or that flag 0.80

00:20:00.760 and literally verbally pissing on the star david or verbally pissing on anybody who is jewish 0.67

00:20:07.080 who has any kind of sympathy for israel i'm going to ask you some questions and i dare anybody listening

00:20:14.200 who happens to be on the side of the above mentioned try to tell me any different

00:20:20.440 do you honestly think that your life is so terrible in this country because of what's happening over there

00:20:27.400 do you honestly think that you're going to die on that hill with glory and honor

00:20:33.240 because there's going to be coming a time in this country ladies and gentlemen where people are going

00:20:39.880 to stand up for canada they're going to stand up for canada that's all canadians that's indigenous

00:20:49.560 that's canadian chinese that's canadian iranian that's canadian iraqi that's canadian east indian

00:20:54.840 that's canadian european canadians and while you're sitting there waving this flag and that flag

00:21:02.040 and verbally degrading what israel is where do you think you're going to sit in that spectrum

00:21:11.240 think about it i am all for free speech i am all for him expression for everybody not just a picked

00:21:18.600 handful of groups here and there that the local governments or provincial governments or the

00:21:23.000 fucking federal government deems okay i'm for free speech for everybody and you have every right to 0.98

00:21:28.200 protest what's going on but think about what you're doing to fellow canucks 0.99

00:21:34.920 think about what you're doing to the institutions in this country that have given you an education

00:21:39.480 and try to encourage you to think for yourself when you're basically going along with a mob mentality

00:21:45.960 okay think about that you think you're fighting the good fight harassing people their place of

00:21:52.760 worship harassing people in their homes harassing people because of their identities i don't recall

00:21:59.320 seeing a whole bunch of uh you know old stock canadians harassing every muslim they saw i don't

00:22:05.800 recall too many old stock canadians harassing every jew that they saw or every christian or every buddhist or

00:22:12.360 every sikh fundamentalist has there been bigotry in our history yeah there was i'm not proud of that nobody should 1.00

00:22:23.080 but i never chastise anybody for being who they were but you want to be a moron you want to be an idiot 0.99

00:22:30.200 you want to be a western you know wannabe but you want to bring the old school uh values and medieval uh 1.00

00:22:38.120 mentality to this country you're going to have a problem it's just the way it is it has nothing to

00:22:44.200 do with your ethnicity or how you pray to your god or how you don't pray to a god or how you pray period

00:22:51.160 all right you also forget too that there's more in this country than just the city bubbles you live

00:22:59.640 in there's a lot of rural areas a lot of support a good sense of community in some of these areas i

00:23:06.040 know in my area there is a great sense of community not just because of the military background but

00:23:10.440 because of that sense of pride and that sense of respect and that sense of doing the job and getting

00:23:16.440 it done to the best of your ability what i'm seeing with these protests i'm not seeing anyone

00:23:20.920 do the best of their ability just how to be a professional victim think that you're you're striving

00:23:25.480 for some great crusade when you're giving in to the status quo see i personally believe that this

00:23:33.800 government doesn't really care it's the proofs in the pudding i also believe too that the government

00:23:38.760 will allow you to protest this and that based on what they agree with not just on what is right

00:23:46.840 the right thing to do is to stand up for what you believe in and practice your free speech and

00:23:52.760 practice your freedom of expression while we still have it but if you don't see what i just mentioned in

00:23:57.640 regards to what can be protested what cannot be protested then you're missing a point and what you're

00:24:02.840 fighting for is null and void there's a lot of canadians out there protesting the carbon tax on the

00:24:07.480 roads waving the flags honking their horns they're not being a nuisance they're not stopping traffic

00:24:13.720 they're not having reporters arrested because somebody might be offended they're just standing

00:24:17.640 up for what's right maybe you pro-palestine pro-hamas supporters can do the same thing

00:24:25.400 okay do i agree with what israel has done over the years not with everything but i do believe

00:24:30.680 palestine israel have the right to exist i do believe everybody in the middle east has the right to exist

00:24:37.320 just like in europe just like in asia just like in africa and here in north america and south america

00:24:41.720 central caribbean islands micronesia ocean all over the fucking globe every country has the right to

00:24:47.880 exist period non-negotiable unless the people in those countries decide they want to change 0.91

00:24:55.080 another flag or change face or whatever this right when i hear the term colonialism 0.66

00:25:01.880 fuck off that's all i got to say to that well and it's not a matter of formulating an argument or not 0.94

00:25:10.360 i just get tired of hearing it ladies and gentlemen right every country in the western hemisphere has 0.99

00:25:15.720 had its taste of colonial something somewhere somehow doesn't matter anymore what matters to

00:25:22.520 what we have now the benefits we have now and what are they worth fighting for you want to sit on the

00:25:27.800 the fence be professional victim you go be my guest but not to be able to buy the bs anymore because

00:25:32.840 people are starting to see the light through this manufactured garbage people are starting to see

00:25:36.920 the light see through the cracks of the whole i'm a victim i'm a victim i'm 20 something i'm a victim

00:25:42.120 i'm 30 something i'm a victim i'm offended i'm offended people are going to start saying great now what 0.76

00:25:51.080 who the fuck cares right so the choice is yours one you want to sit in the fence waving your flag 0.93

00:25:58.360 of glory and who you stand by and be a victim and be offended or get up and do something a little more 0.98

00:26:03.960 concrete and constructive about it trying to find the truth of what's going on over there in these

00:26:08.760 countries and then realize what can i do about it can i go over there and fight can i apply medicine can

00:26:15.720 i give food can apply comfort or stay here in canada and stand up for what this country is choice is

00:26:23.160 yours ladies and gentlemen it's that simple all right i got a video here from the fine people at

00:26:29.960 Canadian taxpayers federation and uh it's basically uh just our prime minister who of course is way to

00:26:38.600 touch and of course the uh the rest of his liberal caucus and some of their ideas i had a few videos lined up

00:26:45.160 with them it's christia freeland and her and her condescending ways but i just didn't really cue

00:26:50.600 them all up because frankly that woman annoys me but i'll play this from the Canadian taxpayers

00:26:54.600 federation on her facebook page and ladies and gentlemen you decide okay you decide because uh

00:27:00.280 they make some valid points and uh it's just a matter of you know uh of us making the proper

00:27:07.080 decisions doing the right thing so anyway you decide folks we have some breaking news here for

00:27:13.960 taxpayers on a friday so prime minister justin trudeau is in calgary and of course he was asked

00:27:20.440 about the carbon tax but franco the answer he gives is pretty bizarre what are we listening to here

00:27:27.240 okay folks we're just going to play the clip here for you but essentially this is who prime minister

00:27:32.200 justin trudeau thinks the carbon tax is hurting financially okay give it a listen yes if you have a

00:27:37.960 giant mansion in an indoor swimming pool and you know three three big personal cars uh it might not

00:27:43.880 cover all of that but for regular families that are hard working it puts more money in their pockets

00:27:50.120 wow okay wow tone deaf tone deaf tone deaf reality check the carbon tax will cost the average family up to

00:27:57.240 911 more this year than they get back in rebates that's from trudeau's own non-partisan independent

00:28:04.280 budget watchdog the parliamentary budget officer okay so the carbon tax is costing average families

00:28:09.480 hundreds of dollars more this year than they get back in rebates now so tone deaf from the prime minister

00:28:15.320 but maybe he just doesn't understand what average families actually go through

00:28:19.320 yeah of course he doesn't understand what canadian families go through none of them do understand

00:28:27.960 what the canadian families go through because as of the first of april your typical liberal

00:28:33.800 backbencher or conservative backbencher or ndp or backbencher is getting roughly two hundred two thousand

00:28:42.360 dollars a year so that works about 18 grand a year you know and you know i'm assuming they pay the same

00:28:48.360 taxes as we do they still take home 16 and change 15 and change to say the least that's a lot of money

00:28:54.840 to take home especially when you get a summertime off and about six weeks off at christmas so roughly

00:29:00.040 you have four months out of the year off to do sweet fa in the name of the canadian taxpayer

00:29:06.440 something to think about folks when it comes to a next election or who you vote for you want to get

00:29:10.360 your money's worth right and i don't care what the rules say about taking pay or automatically having

00:29:16.600 to accept it i'd like to see more politicians on his majesty's opposition take a stand and say no 0.98

00:29:24.200 more fucking pay raises until we get this shit sorted out but we're not seeing that and i don't care who's 0.99

00:29:31.000 listening to this or watching this right now if you happen to be on the conservative side or 1.00

00:29:35.080 independent side or le bloc side or ndp or fucking liberal side you don't deserve the pay raise you 0.99

00:29:42.680 don't because i don't see anybody giving me any extra eight thousand bucks a year my wife doesn't see 1.00

00:29:49.640 anyone giving her an extra eight thousand bucks a year my parents didn't get to see it they get their 0.98

00:29:55.640 pension and they take taxes off of that too just so you can sit there and go to the bank

00:30:01.320 bank something to think about there a parliament

00:30:08.120 so a lot of these crisis comes from you lot not just whoever's in charge but for people they're not 0.99

00:30:13.800 standing up and fighting for what's right and i highly suggest that you lot begin fucking doing it 0.89
