The Crusty Canuck Podcast - Fix the FOUNDATION!!!

00:00:00.360 Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. It's a beautiful 12th of June 2021.

00:00:05.840 Coming up on the Krusty Knecht Podcast, episode 132.

00:00:09.780 More political shame, yes, politicians using the catastrophe in London, Ontario

00:00:14.740 as a political platform to further divide us.

00:00:18.700 All that and more coming up in the show. Please stick around.

00:00:27.080 Hit it, sweetheart. 1.00

00:00:28.220 Because I am hard, you will not like me.

00:00:32.220 Yes, sir.

00:00:35.600 There is no racial bigotry here.

00:00:40.520 There you are always going to work.

00:00:43.700 From Western Canada, this is the Krusty Knecht Podcast, a Canadian veteran's point of view

00:00:50.460 on political, social, economic issues, and life.

00:00:54.620 Here's Krusty.

00:00:55.700 Mama always said I had a face for radio.

00:01:00.320 That's right, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to another episode of the Krusty Knecht Podcast.

00:01:03.700 I'm your host, Krusty Knecht.

00:01:04.940 Listener discretion is advised.

00:01:07.000 I like to use bad, big, nasty words.

00:01:10.300 And please, this is not meant for children.

00:01:12.660 So with that out of the way, if you like and hear what you see,

00:01:14.980 please click like, share, and subscribe.

00:01:16.700 All that good stuff.

00:01:18.040 Pass it all around.

00:01:19.320 Let's get the independent algorithm going in our favor, ladies and gentlemen.

00:01:22.740 So as I said, political share.

00:01:24.980 Again, I was watching the press conference of Heron Tuesday.

00:01:28.960 It was funny enough, just after I published my last episode.

00:01:32.740 So I guess you can say this is part two to my last one.

00:01:35.580 But anyway, I'm not going to divulge too much in that.

00:01:38.640 I'm going to divulge.

00:01:39.480 And it's just the disingenuine approaches that I've seen from our leaders in regards to this catastrophe.

00:01:45.160 Now, I'll sum it up, basically.

00:01:47.260 This is my opinion, okay?

00:01:49.260 You don't have to take it as fact or anything you want.

00:01:51.440 And you're more than welcome to debate me and challenge it and all that other good stuff.

00:01:55.020 But just let me be blunt here, okay?

00:01:57.640 It was devastating what happened to that family.

00:01:59.460 It was.

00:01:59.860 And it's devastating for anything like that to happen to anyone, period.

00:02:03.780 It doesn't matter if you're Muslim, Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Sikh, atheist,

00:02:09.940 or if you're a sun worshiper or a monkey worshiper. 0.91

00:02:12.820 I don't care.

00:02:14.380 That's the freedom we're supposed to have in this country.

00:02:17.020 We are supposed to have the freedom to promote and preach our Gospels at any given day,

00:02:22.320 any given time that's supposed to be in our charter.

00:02:25.680 But I'll get to the charter points later. 0.98

00:02:27.960 Anyhow, what happened in London, Ontario was fucking devastating. 0.98

00:02:31.800 I agree. 0.99

00:02:32.740 Terrible. 1.00

00:02:33.900 Terrible fucking act of disgrace. 1.00

00:02:37.700 Terrible act in general. 1.00

00:02:38.960 For some shithead kid to take a truck and do something stupid like that. 1.00

00:02:45.400 Now, there's lots of speculation. 1.00

00:02:47.580 And, of course, mainstream media and, of course, the mainstream moguls and leaders alike are sitting there pointing fingers.

00:02:53.160 Oh, it's an act of white supremacy.

00:02:55.240 Oh, it's an act of terror. 0.95

00:02:56.380 Oh, it's an act of racism.

00:02:57.760 Oh, my goodness.

00:02:58.380 Oh, my goodness. 0.99

00:02:59.120 Racism, terror, white supremacy. 0.99

00:03:01.020 Racism, terror, white supremacy. 1.00

00:03:02.880 The same fucking narrative, again, that Mr. Jagmeet Singh, Trudeau, and now Mr. Aaron O'Toole is starting to promote. 1.00

00:03:10.120 Okay? 0.99

00:03:10.800 Now, let's get a few things straight here, ladies and gentlemen.

00:03:12.860 I don't know about you, and I've said this before numerous times on the show.

00:03:17.260 I was not raised in a household where my father would pull me aside and tell me to hate somebody.

00:03:22.760 Nor did my mother pull me aside and tell me to hate somebody.

00:03:25.500 And regardless of how imperfect parenting can be, especially where I grew up at the time, okay, my parents never told me to hate anybody because of their faith or because of the color of their skin.

00:03:40.260 Okay? 0.99

00:03:41.300 So, for any politician, whether it be an up-and-comer, such as myself, or other individuals from other parties that want to join this bandwagon or that bandwagon, okay, I can honestly say we're not raised with that fucking mentality. 0.99

00:03:55.500 Okay? 0.99

00:03:56.680 But if these leaders, and it doesn't matter if they're NDP, liberal, conservative, green, what have ya, you're all starting to turn fucking yellow. 0.98

00:04:06.840 Catch my drift? 0.98

00:04:08.500 Okay? 1.00

00:04:10.800 I'm seeing more disingenuine bullshit when it comes to actually dealing with proper fucking problems. 1.00

00:04:18.900 Okay? 0.99

00:04:20.700 Now, we don't have all the details yet on Mr. Nathan.

00:04:23.900 Nathan?

00:04:24.640 Is it Nathan?

00:04:25.240 Nathan?

00:04:25.940 Veltman?

00:04:27.040 Okay?

00:04:27.560 Which isn't a Jewish name.

00:04:29.040 So, to all those so-called anti-Semites out there, those anti-Israel types out there, okay, he's not a Jewish kid.

00:04:36.600 Apparently, he's Dutch.

00:04:37.740 That's what I got from Rebel Media.

00:04:39.760 And that's what I got from other opinions, too.

00:04:43.020 Okay?

00:04:44.260 Now, apparently, this young man has had trouble most of his natural life.

00:04:49.040 And I will have the links in the description to back that up.

00:04:53.560 Okay?

00:04:54.000 So, let's get rid of this dogma and let's get rid of this mantra of always calling someone a Nazi or someone a racist or a white supremacist that commits a crime and just because they happen to be white.

00:05:04.680 And no way am I condoning what happened in London, Ontario.

00:05:08.740 Nobody, as far as I know, in my circle, in my family, in my life, will condone any kind of act like that whatsoever.

00:05:18.000 Okay?

00:05:18.400 Now, I'm watching the footage as we speak right now on CTV.

00:05:22.440 I got the volume down there.

00:05:24.120 But a very, very passionate, heartfelt funeral.

00:05:27.900 You know, a lot of Muslim Canadians, a lot of Christian Canadians, a lot of unified people out there mourning the loss of that family.

00:05:34.820 Which, to me, shows great solidarity.

00:05:36.960 It does. 0.99

00:05:37.440 It's fucking fantastic. 0.99

00:05:38.620 But what I don't like about it, okay, what I don't like about it, too, is that from being a soldier, from serving overseas, to dealing with tyranny like that, to dealing with real fucking fear, real terrorists, okay? 0.98

00:05:53.340 I find it really disingenuine that these leaders have sat there, used the taxpaying soapbox to talk about more racial divide, okay?

00:06:02.840 So, in a way, you can sit there and say, oh, they're standing up for justice and honor and fairness and equality, great.

00:06:09.000 But they keep pointing fingers at groups of people.

00:06:13.440 So, you're fighting a fire with more gasoline. 0.99

00:06:16.820 You're not using common sense and proper fucking logic, okay? 0.99

00:06:21.580 Okay? 0.99

00:06:23.340 Now, I like to remind my listeners, too, that every time you look at anybody in Parliament,

00:06:28.960 any time you look at anybody in Queen's Park, from Toronto, or any MLA in any other province, especially here in Alberta,

00:06:36.680 when you look across the room and you see those live feeds, when they have their debates and their talks in Parliament,

00:06:42.460 take a look at how many diverse people that are there, okay?

00:06:46.220 I'm not going to say people of color, because it sounds like you're selling a car.

00:06:49.240 I'm talking about people, whether they be black or white or pink or if they represent this faith or represent this way of life or whatever way of life, okay? 0.89

00:07:00.260 I personally don't care who's gay. 1.00

00:07:02.260 I don't care who's straight. 0.99

00:07:03.740 I don't care who's bi. 0.62

00:07:04.980 I didn't realize that's a qualification.

00:07:08.420 You need a job application.

00:07:12.360 When I go for a job, my employer doesn't ask me, how do you perform in the bedroom? 1.00

00:07:19.420 It's nobody's fucking business. 0.97

00:07:21.540 And I'm sure my wife wouldn't like that kind of details being brought out to the general public, too. 0.98

00:07:25.820 So when we look at all this diversity and inclusion, okay, we have it, ladies and gentlemen.

00:07:33.840 It's represented.

00:07:35.440 It's represented in every house of power, every parliament, every legislation, every town hall, every community little get-together.

00:07:44.940 It is there, okay?

00:07:46.680 Now, what annoyed me the most this whole week, too, is the constant speculation of what motivated this young man, okay?

00:07:57.400 We're not finding the brass tacks.

00:07:59.100 We're not finding the actual meat and potatoes of the situation.

00:08:01.600 We're not looking at the foundation of why he did it, okay?

00:08:05.800 We can always look at the foundation of what Paul Bernardo did.

00:08:09.260 I remember that case back in the early 90s, okay?

00:08:11.420 And the mysterious, quote-unquote, videotapes that showed up after the conviction of them both, right?

00:08:19.480 Little things like that.

00:08:22.060 And we also forget, too, the look at the facts as well.

00:08:25.980 Because when the Danforth shooter did his thing, oh, mental issues.

00:08:29.040 Yes, of course. 0.93

00:08:29.680 Oh, he had mental problems.

00:08:31.140 Even though he was associated with his brother, who had carfentanil, and they had illegal firearms, lots of firearms, ISIS materials, in their apartments, okay, respectively. 0.94

00:08:42.040 Oh, but he had mental issues.

00:08:44.020 And then when the people of that area began to do a united march and mourning the loss of those individuals, okay, everyone was saying, you know, shh, don't say this, that's racist.

00:08:53.700 Or don't say that, that's racist.

00:08:55.000 Oh, it's racist, it's racist.

00:08:56.840 And yet this guy was guided by other principles other than his mental condition, okay?

00:09:02.660 What were the principles to that individual that shot up those people in Nova Scotia last year, okay?

00:09:07.740 He was on the police radar, apparently.

00:09:09.740 He did some nasty things to his partners before, right?

00:09:16.480 What was done about that, you know?

00:09:19.060 Was that deemed as an act of terrorism, too?

00:09:21.620 Right.

00:09:21.780 How about the Toronto 18?

00:09:24.680 Remember that little car, you know, that Farbergarb that happened?

00:09:28.300 18 individuals that were arrested because they had conspiracies to commit a heinous crime in the Toronto subway?

00:09:35.020 Right.

00:09:35.580 Was that a terrorist act?

00:09:38.000 Hmm?

00:09:38.140 How about the individual that took the rider van, rented a rider van and started mowing down people because he was a lonely single male who couldn't get ahead?

00:09:47.980 You know, people calling him an incel, what have you.

00:09:50.160 How about that individual?

00:09:51.700 You know?

00:09:52.520 Was that a terrorist act? 0.99

00:09:53.840 Oh, no, he had mental problems.

00:09:55.460 The individual in Edmonton that drove a truck and stabbed a few cops and ran more people over, who had an ISIS flag in the cab of said truck, too.

00:10:03.300 Was that deemed a terrorist act?

00:10:06.400 Not right then and there.

00:10:07.560 Oh, no, no, no.

00:10:08.360 We can't do this.

00:10:09.060 We can't do that.

00:10:09.800 Oh, no, no.

00:10:10.420 This is, this is, we can't speculate this, right?

00:10:13.880 But all of a sudden, here's a 20-year-old kid who's had problems himself, too.

00:10:17.780 Okay?

00:10:18.480 And like I say again, I'll say this again, ladies and gentlemen, I am not condoning any of their actions whatsoever.

00:10:25.080 It's just what we're being told and what we're not being told.

00:10:28.280 And I think we've got to start being a little more critical.

00:11:18.240 The best of your ability.

00:11:19.340 Anyway, carrying on again.

00:11:20.140 More of the shame politicians.

00:11:21.320 Now, I've had aspirations to get into politics, and I still do.

00:11:26.520 As a member of the Veterans Coalition Party, we are a firm believer in democracy.

00:11:30.920 We are a firm believer in proper fairness and equality, meaning we give people jobs that want them.

00:11:36.120 And we base those decisions based on merit, not based on color or creed or what you do in your bedroom.

00:11:43.320 That's irrelevant.

00:11:44.080 We base it on being really fair and being open and being diverse to the best of our ability, meaning we accept and appreciate diversity of ideas.

00:11:55.220 Not just so much of the color of someone's skin or someone's gender or someone's identity.

00:12:01.480 You'll be hard-pressed to find anybody in the VCP party telling you you can't have a job because you represent this.

00:12:07.680 In fact, you'd be hard-pressed to find any place in society that is deemed to be as racist as these politicians say it is.

00:12:17.040 Yet they forget what elected them.

00:12:18.960 They forget what put them in power.

00:12:20.820 They forget that they have a great, comfy job making a base salary of $183,000 or more a year just to represent their riding.

00:12:28.680 So when someone tells you, this country is racist and it's full of terrible, terrible things, well, maybe at one time it was.

00:12:37.300 But now, no. 0.98

00:12:39.320 Now, I know for a fact that you get out in the world and you hustle your butt and you do what you can to get ahead.

00:12:46.320 It can be done in this country still.

00:12:49.200 Knock on wood, hopefully.

00:12:51.240 They might make another regulation towards doing that too, right?

00:12:54.740 But we've got to be a little more realistic, a little more understanding here too.

00:12:59.160 What happened in London, Ontario was a devastating thing.

00:13:01.540 What happened in Nova Scotia last year was a devastating thing, right? 1.00

00:13:05.300 Those individuals that were hurt in Edmonton by that crazy fucking ISIS wannabe fucking terrorist was a terrible thing. 1.00

00:13:11.480 Those 10 people that were hurt and killed, correction, the 10 people that were killed by that crazy fucking van driver is a terrible thing. 1.00

00:13:18.200 But we have to start calling things what they are. 0.99

00:13:21.560 Not just based on speculation or based on hearsay.

00:13:24.740 Okay?

00:13:25.920 We need more information on what Veltman was doing.

00:13:30.060 And ironically enough, it takes the Queen's bench to sit there and put gag orders on things when it comes to investigating crimes. 0.99

00:13:35.960 When it comes to getting to the point of something.

00:13:40.440 The last time I checked, freedom of repress and expression was allowed.

00:13:43.840 Okay?

00:13:44.380 Now, when you watch the footage of that rally they had after the fact.

00:13:48.840 Okay?

00:13:49.280 And all these religious zealots were up.

00:13:52.560 Muslim and Christian alike.

00:13:54.380 Okay?

00:13:54.860 And of course politicians weighing in.

00:13:56.940 Freedom of expression is essential regardless of what faith you are.

00:14:00.840 Okay?

00:14:01.300 Doesn't matter if you're Sikh and Hindu. 0.93

00:14:03.420 Doesn't matter if you're Jewish. 0.99

00:14:04.520 Doesn't matter if you're Muslim or Christian. 0.62

00:14:06.380 Doesn't matter if you're atheist. 0.75

00:14:07.780 Freedom of expression is key.

00:14:09.240 Period.

00:14:10.160 Okay?

00:14:11.140 But when individuals sit there and talk about, oh, we have the right to express ourselves.

00:14:15.040 Yes, you do.

00:14:16.120 Just as much as I do.

00:14:17.300 Just as much as you do.

00:14:18.760 But then when you turn around and lock up parishioners for not following quote unquote health regulations.

00:14:24.280 Now, note I say regulations.

00:14:26.000 Not laws.

00:14:27.240 Okay? 1.00

00:14:27.560 Then you're being a hypocrite. 0.99

00:14:31.440 Okay? 1.00

00:14:32.180 What's good for the goose is good for the fucking gander. 1.00

00:14:34.580 Period. 1.00

00:14:36.020 Okay?

00:14:36.280 No longer am I going to accept anyone saying to me, freedom of speech is okay, but freedom of expression is okay, but freedom of the press is okay, but the moment you put but in front of it, as far as I'm concerned, the moment your argument is null and void. 0.99

00:14:53.060 And I got no time for your bullshit. 0.92

00:14:55.060 Because then you're going to turn around and talk about feelings and safe spaces or that generalization or geared towards that ideology. 0.99

00:15:03.300 Okay?

00:15:03.700 There was something I was watching today from Larry Elder.

00:15:07.960 One hell of a scholar and statesman, too.

00:15:10.440 He's probably one of my favorite Americans.

00:15:13.340 I like watching his show.

00:15:14.680 I'll leave a link to his recent episode there, You Decide Yourself, talking about capitalism and all this stuff and some of the communist wannabes that he's talked to.

00:15:23.420 So I'll let you decide.

00:15:24.240 But it was a very, very good episode in regards to capitalism and how people can get out of it and get into it.

00:15:31.160 Or not get out of capitalism, you can get into it to build their lives better.

00:15:35.720 Okay?

00:15:37.240 And I'm not saying build back better.

00:15:38.860 I'm saying build your own life better.

00:15:40.800 That's up to you as an individual to make that happen.

00:15:43.600 I digress here.

00:15:44.620 Carrying on with more shameful politicians. 1.00

00:15:47.480 More bullshit again. 1.00

00:15:49.280 You know, I just turned the TV off now. 1.00

00:15:50.680 I'm not watching anymore because I just get so tired of the politics.

00:15:54.560 Now, granted, they wrapped their caskets in the Canadian flag.

00:15:57.960 Honorable.

00:15:59.960 Genuine.

00:16:01.900 And my sincerest condolences out there, anybody who's in the London area who's listening to this show.

00:16:06.380 My deepest and sincerest condolences to lose loved ones in that capacity.

00:16:12.120 To lose loved ones, period.

00:16:13.120 I've had friends of mine, colleagues of mine that I've buried, my mother, my grandfather, other friends in my life.

00:16:24.320 And I know the feeling.

00:16:27.140 And it eats at your soul.

00:16:29.960 I get it.

00:16:30.640 But regardless of what has happened this past year, with all the beer bug BS, with all the mantras and the mandates for injections and getting jabs,

00:16:41.560 and then finding out what's happening more with the residential schooling history,

00:16:46.600 I find that our leaders are not taking responsibility.

00:16:51.760 And I've called them on this before.

00:16:53.200 They're not.

00:16:53.540 But let's just jump in the bandwagon and look virtuous and make ourselves look fantastic and sexy and make sure the aesthetics is all together.

00:17:02.360 See, that's what gets me, though, about aesthetics.

00:17:04.220 It's like we're all guilty of looking at that beautiful girl in school and go, oh, wow, ah.

00:17:09.120 And all the girls are going, oh, look at this guy.

00:17:11.240 What a hunk.

00:17:11.760 And regardless of what your sexuality is, I think you get my point.

00:17:16.480 But at some point in your life, you realize that there's more to looks than just the nice hair and the nice teeth and the makeup and looking good in a swimsuit.

00:17:28.060 It's what's inside the person that counts, right?

00:17:32.340 It's the genuine characteristic that can eventually attract you to somebody, like a sense of humor or a sense of ambition or a discipline or how they treat others, right?

00:17:44.580 We all look at these factors.

00:17:46.480 So it doesn't matter how pretty something is.

00:17:50.540 It doesn't matter how beautiful it looks on the inside or, correction, on the outside.

00:17:55.880 It's the inside that counts, right?

00:17:59.000 Without sounding like an old wife and an old wife tale.

00:18:02.360 Will you buy a house?

00:18:03.700 Okay.

00:18:04.780 Yes, you look at the paint.

00:18:06.040 You look at the ceiling.

00:18:07.120 You look at the frame.

00:18:08.360 You look at the power.

00:18:09.580 You look at the area.

00:18:10.760 It's in the nice yard.

00:18:11.980 Does it have a beautiful kitchen?

00:18:13.380 Oh, that's nice.

00:18:14.300 It's a beautiful living room.

00:18:15.020 Oh, great.

00:18:15.340 We can entertain and have parties and raspberry ales and margaritas.

00:18:18.920 Oh, my.

00:18:19.860 Craft beer all around.

00:18:20.960 Oh, yay.

00:18:22.040 Right?

00:18:22.560 Great backyard.

00:18:23.300 Great deck.

00:18:23.700 Great patio.

00:18:24.420 What have you.

00:18:25.260 Good roof.

00:18:26.380 Good shingles.

00:18:27.120 Great windows.

00:18:27.940 Oh, look at this, Martha.

00:18:29.120 They're energy efficient.

00:18:30.200 What a fantastic idea.

00:18:31.860 Oh, wow.

00:18:32.800 We're going to save oodles when it comes to the carbon tax.

00:18:35.200 A lot of people forget the basic principle of looking for a home, too.

00:18:40.920 It's foundation.

00:18:42.660 Okay?

00:18:43.060 Now, whether it's an anchored foundation or whether it's on a platform or whether it's set on pillars or you've got a full-blown basement.

00:18:50.460 The foundation is key.

00:18:54.100 Okay? 0.84

00:18:54.660 You could look at a shithole that needs paint and needs some siding. 0.99

00:18:58.600 But if the foundation of said home is fucked, that's going to cost you either $25,000 later on down the road or $50,000 later on down the road. 1.00

00:19:08.140 So, all the time and effort you've put in the aesthetics of your new home and the appearance of your home, the base of your home has gone to shit. 0.99

00:19:19.680 And that's the thing, folks. 0.99

00:19:20.800 We've got to work on our base.

00:19:22.040 We've got to work on our foundations.

00:19:24.280 Okay?

00:19:26.360 We've got to work on the foundation of something because it doesn't matter how much makeup, how much hair gel you put in or how many times you shave your head or how many times you work out and make your muscles look good or how many times that token hottie looks great. 0.94

00:19:37.920 Make a one-piece swimsuit.

00:19:40.820 The foundation needs the utmost upkeep.

00:19:43.860 That means the inside.

00:19:45.280 That means what's holding it up.

00:19:47.520 Okay?

00:19:48.400 That means what's holding up your home, what's holding up your heart, what's holding up your heads.

00:19:52.340 That needs the work.

00:19:55.100 So, you can lay all the paint you want on it.

00:19:57.040 You can lay out the brand-new siding all you want, the energy-efficient windows, and host all the great cocktail parties you desire. 0.99

00:20:03.480 Because without the fucking foundation, you've got nothing. 0.99

00:20:06.840 Okay? 1.00

00:20:07.920 So, the base of your home needs work.

00:20:12.000 Making sure everything's together.

00:20:13.540 Making sure there's no cracks.

00:20:14.680 Making sure it holds water.

00:20:16.880 It repels water.

00:20:18.860 It holds in the heat.

00:20:20.720 Keeps energy alive.

00:20:22.560 Just like your heart.

00:20:24.380 That you hold good things in your heart.

00:20:26.000 Proper scruples.

00:20:27.180 Proper agendas.

00:20:29.560 You know, whatever rocks your boat.

00:20:31.520 You know?

00:20:32.260 Live the life you want to, as long as you don't hit people, take their stuff.

00:20:35.020 That kind of thing.

00:20:35.740 That kind of reinforcement. 0.99

00:20:38.020 So, like I say, without the foundation, you've got fuck all, ladies and gentlemen. 0.99

00:20:42.240 Okay? 1.00

00:20:42.400 And after watching the display of these leaders and those politicians sitting there, tooting and hollering, calling this racist, calling that racist.

00:20:50.880 And then that individual, too, who ever so elegantly said, what's happening in Israel is happening here in Canada.

00:20:56.880 I think we need work in our foundation, folks.

00:21:01.960 Like I say, you can dress up the house all you want.

00:21:04.140 Nice blue paint.

00:21:05.020 Nice siding.

00:21:05.640 Great windows.

00:21:06.740 It looks great.

00:21:07.740 It looks sexy.

00:21:08.500 Oh, what a beautiful garden home.

00:21:11.240 By the way, the proper foundation and the base holding it up. 1.00

00:21:14.500 We got fuck all. 0.98

00:21:30.140 Well, smack my ass and call me Judy. 1.00

00:21:33.380 Yeah, exactly. 1.00

00:21:34.180 And smack thy ass, I shall. 1.00

00:21:35.960 Anyway, carrying on, ladies and gentlemen. 1.00

00:21:37.600 More shameful politicians and no foundation. 0.67

00:21:40.460 That's the thing.

00:21:42.280 We've got to work in the foundation.

00:21:45.300 Over the past six years, I've looked at many things in my life.

00:21:48.440 I've looked at many issues and many little demons that made their appearances.

00:21:55.020 And I've done my best to deal with them.

00:21:57.780 And I'm not perfect.

00:21:58.980 I never said I was.

00:21:59.940 I never claimed to be perfect.

00:22:01.020 If I was perfect, I would not be doing this show.

00:22:03.600 I would be doing something totally different.

00:22:06.340 But perfection is just a goal.

00:22:08.900 It's an individual goal to strive to.

00:22:10.820 And it's a good one. 0.99

00:22:12.460 It's a very fucking good one. 0.96

00:22:14.220 But in the same sense, though, when I look at my upbringing and the things that were taught to me and passed down, right, without trying to sound like some bad martial arts movie in the old, oh, Grashoffa routine, okay? 0.95

00:22:27.880 I'm trying to be realistic here.

00:22:31.280 And after just watching this whole thing on mainstream media, I am still thankful to be a Canadian. 0.99

00:22:39.020 I'm still thankful to live in a country where we can still, hopefully, without C10 rearing its ugly fucking head, okay? 1.00

00:22:46.860 We can still speak our minds. 0.99

00:22:48.060 I was taught with those principles as a child.

00:22:52.580 Don't judge people on their looks or their religious beliefs.

00:22:55.940 You judge people on their actions, okay?

00:22:59.200 But I will judge our politicians on their actions and their lack of them, okay?

00:23:05.980 Now Justin Trudeau is doing the G7 summit in beautiful Cornwall, Britain, right, doing the old fist elbow pumps and wearing the mask and social distancing, which is null and void.

00:23:15.720 So we know that's a con, right? 0.92

00:23:18.540 Here's a guy that's put this country into fucking debt for the sake of what? 0.96

00:23:23.100 We don't have products going out and enough coming in to justify all this spending. 1.00

00:23:27.860 Basic marketing would tell me, okay, we're going broke because these assholes made it happen. 0.97

00:23:33.000 Now I'm also thankful, too, that we have politicians in Parliament right now debating on our behalf, 0.98

00:23:38.100 at least the people that want freedom of speech and freedom of expression to reign supreme, okay?

00:23:44.440 I'm thankful to the fact that I have family and friends that have offered me their homes and offered me assistance when I needed it.

00:23:53.920 And I'm thankful to you, my audience out there, who listens to my show every time I put one out and gives me positive and negative comments alike.

00:24:04.420 I know for a fact this country is not a bigoted, racist nation.

00:24:07.720 And to my American friends and listeners, too, we also know for a fact, too, that America, the United States, is not a bigoted, racist nation.

00:24:15.800 Both of our countries have had a shared history, and we've had our own little racial histories, right?

00:24:22.400 But if you're a person that comes from a certain area of the world that doesn't do so well, you can still find opportunities here in Canada and opportunities in the United States, okay?

00:24:35.040 You can.

00:24:36.960 I've seen it, ladies and gentlemen, and I'm doing it myself.

00:24:40.420 It might take a little more work, a little more perseverance, a little more elbow grease, but nonetheless, it could be done. 0.99

00:24:45.920 And for these clowns that sit in Parliament and dictate and finger wag and stand in the soapbox of the Canadian taxpayer and say otherwise, well, they're fucking wrong, too. 0.97

00:24:55.640 Because they all agreed to a pay raise during the COVID issue last year. 0.98

00:25:00.380 And they also agreed to another pay raise this past April 1st as well.

00:25:06.260 Right? 1.00

00:25:07.060 So they're getting paid the big bucks to sit there and talk down to us like we're fucking morons. 1.00

00:25:11.180 Well, we're not morons, ladies and gentlemen. 1.00

00:25:14.360 Okay? 0.94

00:25:14.800 We're able-bodied people.

00:25:16.800 And I mean able as in the mental sense, not just in the physical sense, too.

00:25:21.960 We're all capable of making our own decisions. 0.93

00:25:23.900 We're all capable of preaching whatever gospel we fucking desire to and to allow to hear or want to hear. 0.96

00:25:31.460 Okay? 0.97

00:25:33.940 And with the clowns in the background trying to make C10 a reality because they don't want division or they want any kind of critical thinking, then they're not helping, are they? 0.50

00:25:43.860 Okay? 0.97

00:25:44.800 And as far as I'm concerned, the CRTC has had too much regulations already, bringing us crap like CBC. 0.89

00:25:51.720 Okay?

00:25:52.760 When was the last time the CBC put up any kind of great show, put together any kind of great series or any kind of broadcasting format that entertained Canada as a whole? 0.98

00:26:02.280 When was the last time that ever fucking happened? 0.92

00:26:03.820 Maybe sometime in my father's generation or my mother's generation. 0.98

00:26:08.440 Not lately.

00:26:09.120 See, we have to work on the foundation even deeper, too, ladies and gentlemen.

00:26:16.420 Not just with ourselves, but within this country.

00:26:22.020 We need a better foundation.

00:26:23.560 And I'm not saying build back better. 0.99

00:26:25.340 That's just a fucking con. 0.98

00:26:26.680 We don't need to go backwards to build something. 0.99

00:26:29.080 We need to go forwards to build something so we can build things together.

00:26:33.120 Okay?

00:26:33.900 We have to build things together.

00:26:35.660 And time will tell if it's better or not.

00:26:41.120 That simple.

00:26:42.980 Okay?

00:26:43.980 I'm not going to sit here and toot the old virtual horn.

00:26:47.380 I'm not trying to be virtuous.

00:26:49.100 I'm trying to be a realistic human being here.

00:26:51.560 I'm trying to be a humanist.

00:26:53.500 Like the motto I use, humanity and merit wins the day. 0.97

00:26:55.960 Meaning try best to be good to people and get out there and fucking work for something. 0.96

00:27:00.660 That simple. 0.97

00:27:02.060 Okay? 1.00

00:27:03.240 But every time I hear our great leaders talk bullshit, you know, this is all I really get from them. 0.99

00:27:14.760 Join the Liberal Party of Canada. 1.00

00:27:16.980 We'll tell you what to think, what to do, how to wipe, how to pick your nose.

00:27:23.480 Oh, in the name of safety.

00:27:27.560 And yet the only safety they're promoting, ladies and gentlemen, is the safety of knowing that their feelings are getting hurt.

00:27:33.960 And it's about power and control.

00:27:36.300 That simple.

00:27:38.980 Join today's NDP.

00:27:41.000 We'll keep moving the goalposts.

00:27:43.160 You don't walk the line for us. 1.00

00:27:44.560 We'll call you racist, misogynistic, xenophobic, homophobic. 0.98

00:27:48.780 We look for racism in everything. 0.91

00:27:51.020 Please, join the NDP today.

00:27:53.400 And subscribe and donate.

00:27:55.420 Please, walk our line.

00:27:56.960 Thank you.

00:27:57.400 And that's what it is. 0.98

00:27:59.400 We have to walk this imaginary line just so we all stay in sync with whatever fucking mandate or proletariat they're throwing down their throats. 0.96

00:28:06.400 So like I say, ladies and gentlemen, without the foundation, we got nothing. 0.98

00:28:08.580 I'm talking about a foundation.

00:28:10.380 Okay?

00:28:10.560 The aesthetics come and gone.

00:28:12.280 Aesthetics come and go.

00:28:13.900 Beauty fades.

00:28:16.140 Okay?

00:28:17.120 But the foundation is something that lasts forever.

00:28:19.780 Okay?

00:28:19.980 Okay?

00:28:21.540 The foundation lasts forever.

00:28:22.940 So we have to look into ourselves and do better.

00:28:25.120 For ourselves, I'm saying.

00:28:27.120 Okay?

00:28:27.680 Do better as in understanding and be a little more critical.

00:28:31.420 Bring out critical thought.

00:28:32.580 Make sure we ask the tough questions.

00:28:34.640 Again, and I've said this before in the Christy Connect podcast.

00:28:37.260 Okay?

00:28:39.680 And then when you ask somebody in power and their response is this.

00:28:47.460 I'm sorry.

00:28:48.400 I can't hear you.

00:28:49.560 I have an infarction in my ear. 1.00

00:28:51.080 Well, then you take the perverbal shovel and smack whatever crap is in their ear. 0.99

00:28:58.700 Now, I'm not saying physically harm somebody, but I think you catch my drift. 0.99

00:29:02.700 It's about standing our ground on what's right, ladies and gentlemen.

00:29:05.700 Standing our ground on what's right.

00:29:07.700 Once again, my condolences to the families and to the friends of those four individuals

00:29:11.620 that were senselessly murdered for the sake of whatever.

00:29:16.960 I'm not going to speculate.

00:29:17.700 Maybe this kid did have some affiliation with some right-wing group.

00:29:22.700 Right?

00:29:23.220 But we can't be categorized all in the same category.

00:29:26.760 You've heard my points of view numerous times.

00:29:28.580 I'm libertarian-based.

00:29:29.540 I have liberal values.

00:29:30.420 I also have conservative values.

00:29:32.120 That doesn't mean I'm conservative. 0.98

00:29:33.760 That doesn't mean I'm fucking liberal. 0.98

00:29:35.820 Okay? 0.96

00:29:37.440 I think more and more conservatives now are coming out of the woodwork to promote proper,

00:29:41.860 classical liberalism, meaning I disagree with what you're saying, but I'll fight for your

00:29:46.120 right to say it nonetheless.

00:29:48.660 You know what I mean?

00:29:51.480 That simple.

00:29:52.800 You know, people that want to live their lives, people that want basic liberty, to go to work,

00:29:56.800 to pay their bills, to have a nest egg, to save their money, to get ahead. 0.98

00:29:59.880 Without some virtual SJW fucking mantra. 0.99

00:30:06.340 Trying to guilt us all the time. 1.00

00:30:09.840 Nothing wrong with being black.

00:30:11.280 Nothing wrong with being white. 0.81

00:30:12.440 Nothing wrong with being brown.

00:30:13.560 Nothing wrong with being Asian.

00:30:14.720 Nothing wrong with being Jewish.

00:30:15.980 Nothing wrong with being Muslim.

00:30:17.600 Nothing wrong with being a Christian.

00:30:19.940 Nothing wrong with being Sikh.

00:30:21.460 Nothing wrong with being a Jehovah. 0.83

00:30:22.660 Nothing wrong with being a Mormon.

00:30:24.340 Nothing wrong with it at all. 1.00

00:30:26.360 Because it's okay to be fucking you. 0.99

00:30:28.640 and be you to the best of your ability that simple right we are supposed to be living in 1.00

00:30:37.300 one of the best democracies on the planet one of the greatest experiments next to our friend in

00:30:42.260 the united states right one of the greatest experiments where we didn't have to have a

00:30:47.160 revolution to gain freedom where we didn't have to have a bloody civil strife to gain independence

00:30:53.340 right as far as i'm concerned we earned our independence back in 1917 april 9th the battle 0.63

00:31:01.540 of emmy ridge where we showed our british overlords yeah we can fucking do this right that's the thing 0.75

00:31:10.120 in regards to the imperfections and problems that our parliamentary system has had

00:31:15.300 we still have to maintain the freedom to do and the freedom to question and the right to criticize

00:31:22.740 okay so let's get rid of those mandates where you criticize a female politician 1.00

00:31:28.240 you're being sexist no you're not being sexist it's part of being an adult 0.97

00:31:32.400 i myself i will question a female leader if i think her decision is bullshit i will question a male 0.98

00:31:38.820 leader if i think his decision is bullshit and i'll question your ethics and your ability if there's 0.98

00:31:44.580 money missing or if things aren't getting done i will question your integrity i will question your 0.95
