Transcript

00:00:00.680 Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. It is a beautiful 23rd of April 2021. Coming up
00:00:05.940 with the Krusty Canuck podcast. Today I'll be discussing the whole happy Earth Day and
00:00:10.620 lockdowns. Oh joy. More military blunders and more political blunders as we speak. Stick
00:00:16.800 around. Hit it, sweetheart. Because I am hard, you will not like me. Yes, sir. There is
00:00:30.940 no racial bigotry here. There you are all. From Western Canada, this is the Krusty Canuck
00:00:42.100 podcast. A Canadian veteran's point of view. On political, social, economic issues and
00:00:48.420 life. Here's Krusty. Well, smack my ass and call me Judy. That's right, ladies and gentlemen,
00:00:55.540 23rd of April 2021. And of course, yesterday was Earth Day. So we shall all be sitting around
00:01:02.080 in harmony like the bad Coca-Cola commercial and celebrating Mother Earth at its finest.
00:01:06.460 And to quote George Carlin and his infinite wisdom, the planet's fine.
00:01:12.100 The people are fucked. Yes, more proof coming that way. And yes, ladies and gentlemen, listener
00:01:17.600 discretion is advised. I use bad words and bad language in this podcast. This is meant for
00:01:22.320 adults. Don't say I didn't warn you. And if you like and hear what you see, please click
00:01:26.860 like, subscribe, and share this all around on all social media platforms. Help us independent
00:01:31.780 folk get the word out there. Get the algorithm going in favor of people that want to hear other
00:01:37.180 points of view. You know what I mean? And thank you, everyone who came out to my live stream last
00:01:42.640 night. I had Frank P. Vaughn on a well-educated commentator, all around nice guy, family man,
00:01:50.160 a former PPC candidate, political junkie, and just a good guy to talk to. And I highly recommend,
00:01:56.560 ladies and gentlemen, you check out his work at Frank P. Vaughn or frankvaughn.com. Got some great
00:02:01.580 videos, great insight, great stories, just an all around fucking good Canadian. And I really
00:02:05.820 enjoyed our conversation that we had yesterday on the Thursday fastball. So he might be a regular
00:02:11.780 in the future. We don't know. We're talking about it. But needless to say, good man. And I had a
00:02:17.160 really great time having a good conversation with him about life, politics, and Canada as we see it.
00:02:22.320 So anyway, carrying on. Happy Earth Day lockdown. Of course, you can tell my meme there. I've got a
00:02:27.200 happy little planet with a, you know, silly looking face and a prime minister that wants to
00:02:31.820 make sure that we hit 45% emission reduction come 2030. And of course, based on his economic
00:02:38.700 environmental plan, it's going to cost us another bloody fucking fortune based on his logic and based
00:02:44.820 on the federal budget that I've so affectionately talked about in my last episode. Now, let's get a
00:02:50.200 few things straight here, ladies and gentlemen. You know, people have said the science is settled.
00:02:54.700 Carbon tax is beneficial because it's going to stop the use of carbon. And yet carbon feeds
00:03:01.180 fucking plants. Now, I don't know about you, but grade 10 science told me that carbon is a good
00:03:07.240 thing for trees and fauna and everything else that grows in the wild. And it helps farmers out with
00:03:13.240 their crops and helps people out when they have their fresh veggies. And when they go to their fancy
00:03:18.300 little restaurants, they get their au couture salads. Oh, they've got really green, green food.
00:03:23.480 Oh, yes, of course. So why are we still worrying about carbon emissions when Canada sits maybe
00:03:29.260 about 1.6% of the so-called world's emissions? Right? And of course, our beloved potato puppet
00:03:36.760 sock boy aficionado, Prime Minister Pert Plus. Yes, sitting there constantly fucking worrying
00:03:42.920 and trying to kiss ass to Joe Biden's mandate. Okay, now I'm all for the environment. I want to
00:03:49.120 keep things clean too. Yes. I like going to parks. I like taking walks outside with my pets.
00:03:54.900 I like taking my wife out for a walk. You know, it's nice for her and I to spend some alone time
00:04:00.440 together to sit and talk about life. And we appreciate the trees and the rivers and the
00:04:04.580 grass and the hills and the mountains and all that good stuff. We're all part of the planet.
00:04:08.840 We all know this. But there's resources that we can tap in this country that are beneficial,
00:04:13.180 not just to this company or that company, but beneficial to everyone that's living in that
00:04:18.800 general area and to people that fly from like Newfoundland and the East Coast to work in the
00:04:24.700 West to produce said resources. It's only been going on for the better part of fucking 60 years.
00:04:29.500 So what gets me is every time they try to prove this climate mandate,
00:04:34.460 it's going to cost us more in the long run. Again, they've already doubled the carbon tax.
00:04:40.680 They want to increase more taxes on tobacco and things that we enjoy, right? They've already
00:04:45.820 taxed home heating and home hydro trying to save the environment. Yet there's no goddamn plan in the
00:04:50.580 works for anyone to be self-sufficient. And if you are self-sufficient, you have to go through tons of
00:04:55.140 loopholes, loopholes, and worry about this monopoly and that monopoly. So it's a fucking con.
00:04:59.500 So again, we're being told again, what to do with our fucking money. Now, what gets me is that
00:05:04.520 they want to abolish all this carbon from the atmosphere. Okay. You know, we got to keep
00:05:12.740 punishing these polluters, kind of punishing these polluters. And I'll have descriptions in my link
00:05:16.300 about this too. I'll have links in my description, links in my description about these environmental
00:05:24.100 gestures. But what gets me is that these individuals try to promote the whole green,
00:05:31.380 green, green, green, green, green. And yet they only want to take our green, our money. They want to
00:05:37.680 take our currency and obliterate it because they come up these environmental plans to save the
00:05:42.600 environment based on boring cash, based on how they can print all this money just like that. And then
00:05:48.180 what? No hyperinflation, no issues when it comes to buying power from the average Canadian, no issues
00:05:55.920 in the long run when it comes to purchasing a home or trying to get a post-secondary education
00:06:00.380 or some big investment that you and I might be looking forward to or trying to do, i.e. like our
00:06:06.200 retirements, right? Setting up nest eggs for loved ones. No, because the last budget proved that that'll be
00:06:12.680 next to impossible. Because the last budget proved that it's only going to benefit a handful of liberal
00:06:17.260 believers. And of course, the NDP voted for it and LeBloc voted for it. Now, as far as I know,
00:06:23.900 at this moment, there might be a third reading to promote this budget, but they've already said yes
00:06:30.100 to it twice. And that kind of drives me up the fucking wall, honestly. Because if the bloc likes
00:06:37.680 Canadian money so goddamn much, they would actually put a stop to it. Right? But then again, my logic
00:06:44.760 is this. They all want to save their fucking jobs. And if they had a snap election right goddamn now,
00:06:49.460 I highly doubt they'd be successful as they are. That's just my speculation, folks. Now, I've had a few
00:06:55.040 little debates with people on my Facebook page in regards to that, saying, well, if they had an election,
00:06:59.560 the Liberals would win because people love comfort and safety. Exactly. People like the comfort. People are
00:07:04.380 used to the comfort. People are used to the safety and the convenience. Okay? But they're not seeing
00:07:09.280 the bigger picture. What's going to happen two or three years down the road when our dollar is worth
00:07:13.180 nothing? And then what? Because the government's borrowed so goddamn much, they've had to fucking
00:07:17.840 cut back things that we need. Right? I don't know. I just... I keep shaking my head thinking,
00:07:29.080 where is the light at the end of this fucking tunnel?

00:07:45.620 Yes, Krusty Canuck here. Back to the special Earth Day lockdown. Spectacular, yes. And of course,
00:07:52.040 in recent news too, we have seen how some police officers apprehended a 12-year-old boy based on the
00:07:56.780 video evidence that was filmed by a private citizen. Some kid was literally thrown off his little
00:08:02.420 scooter and carted. So I don't know what the story is of that because like I say numerous times,
00:08:08.020 ladies and gentlemen, I know police officers personally that would not do that to a child.
00:08:11.840 It's going to do it to a teenager, but they wouldn't do that to a child.
00:08:16.040 And I don't know what the story is in that. I got a lot of respect for police officers. Like I said,
00:08:20.860 I know a few and they're great people. They're good citizens, professional men and women
00:08:25.780 who do their job the best of their ability. And I'm not going to sit there and guilt
00:08:30.520 an association based on the actions of a few. Okay. We've seen the results of that Minneapolis
00:08:36.720 from last year's fiasco with the George Floyd incident. And now we're going to be seeing this
00:08:40.920 and probably in Ohio with that police officer that shot that teenage girl that threatened to
00:08:46.080 kill another teenage girl with a knife. So summarize this. I don't know. I'll leave links in the
00:08:52.440 description for you guys to read and follow aside for yourselves. But, uh, I don't know.
00:08:57.260 It's just, it's turning fucking chaotic. It seems like every now has the watchful eye and rightfully
00:09:02.360 so it's good for people to film, to see any, any kind of injustice, to film any kind of infraction.
00:09:09.420 It doesn't matter if you watch someone steal something or a police officer doing something
00:09:13.600 bad or anybody for that matter, doing something bad, good film it and produce it. Let's get the
00:09:18.380 questions going, get the dialogue going, get people out there speaking their minds.
00:09:22.340 But from what I've seen of that video, and I watched it a few times now,
00:09:26.360 regardless of that little kid lipped off or not, nobody has the right to throw a kid off his or her
00:09:32.840 bike or scooter or knock him down with a rollerblading. That's just being nasty. And for what?
00:09:40.280 For what? In the name of protection? In the name of safety? Right? If you're intimidated by a 12 year
00:09:47.080 old kid, there is something wrong with you, I would say. Right? And, uh, I know for a fact,
00:09:52.200 when I was 12, I respected authority. It didn't matter if it was a police officer talking to me or
00:09:56.980 if my parents were talking. They told me to stop doing something. I fucking did it, but they never
00:10:03.020 threw me across the floor or threw me on the ground, you know, and asked me for my identification.
00:10:08.340 And based on what I saw in that video, it's, it's kind of hard to, to really, uh,
00:10:12.760 really differentiate who, who was the good guy there. But, uh, needless to say, it didn't look
00:10:18.840 good. And I guess there's an investigation to it now, but, uh, I guess some rumblings are saying
00:10:25.460 that we are going to have to, uh, start carding people. And to me, that's not right, folks.
00:10:30.040 That's not, you know, if you're walking around minding your own damn business and you get a
00:10:34.680 stranger, a strange authority figure, it doesn't matter if it's a security guard or police officer
00:10:39.120 or a bylaw officer demands your fucking identification. Well, no, I say no, because
00:10:45.140 you know, if you're not doing anything wrong, if you're just mind your business, going about your
00:10:48.900 way, fuck off. Really? You know, like, sorry. What do you need to see my ID for? You know, why?
00:10:58.880 Am I under suspicion of something? You know, you don't just go up to somebody and say, give me
00:11:02.900 your fucking papers. Let me see your fucking ID. Who the fuck are you? Right? I don't give a
00:11:08.680 fuck what law or what health law you pass or what legislation or a mandate that's being
00:11:12.840 promoted. You don't have the right just to randomly apprehend people. I don't give a fuck what
00:11:18.340 pandemic is going on or not now. I don't care. If it's something like Red Dawn where you're
00:11:23.200 getting the enemy fucking parachuting in and there's chaos ensuing, then okay, maybe I could
00:11:28.260 see a little, you know, little leniency when it comes to something, you know, towards martial
00:11:32.320 law or any kind of emergency measures act for that matter. But until that fucking day, mind
00:11:37.980 your own goddamn business. Let people fucking be. It doesn't matter if it's a 12-year-old
00:11:43.500 kid playing in a park or an 82-year-old man going to the fucking store. Jesus Christ.
00:11:50.360 Like, fuck, all this paranoia. You just can't live freely anymore. They have to contain and
00:11:56.800 control. You know, they constantly have to tell you how to walk, how to wipe your butt,
00:12:03.520 you know, when to do this, when to do that. God, it sounds like an election advert.
00:12:07.980 Join the Liberal Party of Canada. We'll tell you
00:12:13.500 what to think, what to think, what to do, how to wipe, how to pick your nose. Oh, in
00:12:19.020 the name of safety.
00:12:23.420 Mama always said I had a face for radio.
00:12:29.240 Join today's NDP. We'll keep moving the goalposts. You don't walk the line for us. We'll call
00:12:35.240 you racist, misogynistic, xenophobic, homophobic. We look for racism in everything. Please, join
00:12:42.160 the NDP today and subscribe and donate. Please walk our line. Thank you.
00:12:47.680 Yeah, exactly. Now, I haven't done a conservative one yet, but I might later on. I don't know.
00:12:54.560 Because when I look at the performance of Mr. Ford and Mr. Kenny and some of the actions
00:12:59.060 that Mr. O'Toole has promoted, it makes me think I might make a little CPC tidbit too.
00:13:04.200 We'll see. That'll come in the future. But in the meantime, this is it. Happy Earth Day
00:13:08.460 lockdown. Happy Earth Day lockdown. So, you know, we're saving the environment and keeping people
00:13:13.540 Lindor's telling them what to do, how to think, when to roll, when to puke, when to pick your nose,
00:13:18.140 when to make love to your wife or your loved one, all that good stuff. Yay. Fun times. Oh, boy.
00:13:25.420 Oh, my God. Here's a word for my sponsors.
00:13:28.540 In October of 2015, Lindsay Robbins, like many of her fellow Canadians,
00:13:32.880 was struggling with the turmoil of mental illness. The ups and downs of what she was going through
00:13:37.540 was shaping her realities, and she longed for structure. As luck would have it,
00:13:42.260 that structure presented itself to her in the form of gardening. And through gardening,
00:13:47.540 Lindsay had an awakening that led her to create produce for heroes. Lindsay realized that our
00:13:53.500 veterans were going through their own mental struggles, and through her own experience,
00:13:57.940 she realized the power of community. By desiring to help the way that she had been helped,
00:14:03.400 she has created a program that provides relief to veterans. Her food program, which aims to provide
00:14:08.300 veterans and their families relief from the stresses of food insecurity,
00:14:11.580 and help alleviate the cost of living for those that have sacrificed so much for their country.
00:14:17.440 Whether it's through directly contacting produce for heroes, or through a friend's referral,
00:14:22.160 all veterans and their families living in Canada are welcome.
00:14:26.220 By shining a light on the struggle of veterans and their families,
00:14:29.120 Lindsay is hoping to get her fellow Canadians to hop on board and support produce for heroes
00:14:33.440 and our great veterans. If you or a veteran you know needs help,
00:14:37.580 produceforheroes.com is a great place to start.

00:15:16.000 there under the heading sponsors.
00:15:18.780 Anyway, carrying on.
00:15:20.240 Happy Earth Day lockdown, everybody.
00:15:22.920 You know, it's belated Earth Day, post-Earth Day.
00:15:25.180 But to my English friends out there, 23rd of April, happy St. George's Day to my English friends.
00:15:31.160 Yes, happy St. George's Day, the man who slayed the last dragon, apparently.
00:15:35.240 Anyhow, to my English listeners, I like happy St. George's, all the best.
00:15:40.680 Buy that Red Cross proudly, love your football, love your pints, and love each other.
00:15:45.300 All that good stuff.
00:15:46.180 So happy St. George's out there to my English listeners.
00:15:49.340 Anyway, carrying on.
00:15:50.780 More with the happy Earth Day lockdown.
00:15:53.160 That's right, we're doing this in the environment.
00:15:54.380 We're going to be taking more and more of your money and telling you how to live your life.
00:15:58.080 And when you can drive, when you can't drive, when you can poop, when you can't poop.
00:16:01.520 All that good stuff.
00:16:02.720 Because we're looking after Mother Earth, absolutely.
00:16:05.460 And like I said, like George Carlin said, nothing wrong with the planet.
00:16:08.160 People are fucked.
00:16:09.700 Precisely.
00:16:10.680 God rest your soul, Mr. Carlin.
00:16:13.100 But carrying on.
00:16:14.660 Just with the foolery.
00:16:16.460 Now, also in recent news too, a lady has stepped forward.
00:16:20.020 In regards to the sexual misconduct allegations of General Vance, Canada's premier soldier at one time,
00:16:29.940 who had to step down in January, based in said allegations.
00:16:33.800 Now, it's quite quinkity too, how all this stuff is coming out now in mainstream media.
00:16:41.280 You know, all this stuff is coming to light, to fruition per se.
00:16:49.580 Oh, sorry.
00:16:50.800 Option there, but still.
00:16:53.000 PM responds to Major Kelly Brennan's testimony on sexual misconduct allegations.
00:16:57.580 Now, I've got this recorded, but I'll just summarize it basically.
00:16:59.820 It was the Liberal Party and the bloc that basically put the kibosh, the rest of the investigations.
00:17:07.620 Right?
00:17:07.920 And you've heard me ramble on about Mr. Harjit Sajjan's response, how it was not his responsibility,
00:17:12.580 how he knew nothing.
00:17:14.020 It was at the ombudsman's men, but the ombudsman brought this to the minister's attention for a very valid reason.
00:17:19.620 More or less saying, there's something terrible going on here.
00:17:21.980 We have to fix this.
00:17:23.580 Now, I'll leave links in the description.
00:17:25.700 Major Kelly's, Major Brennan's testimony.
00:17:29.820 And what she said and all that, too.
00:17:33.280 And how she was treated by the general.
00:17:36.980 And what was really going on behind closed doors, as we see.
00:17:40.280 Now, I don't care who has a sexual relationship.
00:17:42.940 I don't care how you go about your business.
00:17:45.460 Just show up to your job, do the best you can with the best of your ability.
00:17:48.880 And be as professional as you can.
00:17:51.620 And I don't care if you're a private.
00:17:53.280 I don't care if you're a corporal.
00:17:54.580 I don't care if you're a master corporal, sergeant.
00:17:56.640 I don't care if you're a lieutenant, captain, major.
00:17:59.820 All other ranks, and especially if you're the top fucking guy.
00:18:04.140 Brigadier general, major general, or general.
00:18:06.060 I don't care.
00:18:07.540 Okay?
00:18:08.300 You had a responsibility.
00:18:10.840 And somewhere along that line, you fucked up.
00:18:14.200 And while you fucked up, you hurt some people.
00:18:17.900 Okay?
00:18:18.800 That's a revelation you should fucking understand to look after.
00:18:23.480 Like I said, I don't care what rank you are.
00:18:24.840 I don't care what privileges you think you have.
00:18:26.280 I don't give a fuck what you think you're entitled to.
00:18:28.520 Okay?
00:18:30.000 I really don't care.
00:18:32.100 Right?
00:18:32.320 You did something bad, Buckeye.
00:18:34.240 Sort it the fuck out.
00:18:35.300 Own it.
00:18:36.500 Right?
00:18:37.280 But then, you know, you were dismissed from your position.
00:18:40.200 Okay?
00:18:40.600 Or you stepped down from your position,
00:18:42.220 wherever word salads that were being used.
00:18:44.200 And then you were given an additional 50 grand for doing such a great job.
00:18:48.640 So, obviously, ladies and gentlemen, when you look at that procedure, okay,
00:18:52.980 these men, they don't become leaders anymore.
00:18:55.960 They become politicians, and they tow the party line.
00:18:59.520 And Justin knew what was going on.
00:19:01.280 Harjeet Sajjan knew what was going on.
00:19:03.360 And all powers thereof within knew what the fuck was going on.
00:19:06.760 And hats off to those ladies that are stepping up and telling us their stories.
00:19:12.600 Like I've said numerous times, ladies and gentlemen,
00:19:14.140 I have worked with incredible women in the Canadian military.
00:19:17.940 I have worked with and worked for some incredible women in the Canadian military.
00:19:22.800 And if any of those women that I knew personally were affected
00:19:25.640 by the brass committing those heinous issues and committing those heinous crimes,
00:19:33.280 I'd be appalled, deeply appalled,
00:19:36.300 because there's two women I'm thinking of right now that I work for
00:19:39.380 that are exceptional human beings.
00:19:40.920 Both family women.
00:19:41.740 They were married.
00:19:42.580 They were loyal to their husbands.
00:19:43.980 And they come to work, and they fucking did incredible jobs.
00:19:47.600 Just incredible.
00:19:49.240 One in particular listened to my concerns,
00:19:51.980 especially when I was going through my PTSD issues.
00:19:54.240 And she listened.
00:19:55.700 She took the extra 30 seconds or a minute or two minutes or five minutes
00:19:58.880 to listen to what I had to say.
00:20:01.360 And she did her best to make sure I got the help that I fucking needed.
00:20:05.360 And it's because of women like her.
00:20:08.600 That sets a great example of the potential
00:20:11.040 that anybody can achieve in today's military.
00:20:14.400 It doesn't matter what gender you are.
00:20:16.040 But then when you hear of these allegations
00:20:17.900 and you hear of these situations where some junior NCOs or senior NCOs
00:20:22.340 or some junior officers or senior officers getting in to positions
00:20:28.400 where their bosses or their supervisors are doing some shady shit.
00:20:34.200 It's time we have to act.
00:20:36.080 Right?
00:20:36.880 But we have to act by punishing those who are guilty,
00:20:41.080 not those who are associated, ladies and gentlemen.
00:20:44.680 Okay?
00:20:44.980 You could work for a guy one day
00:20:47.460 and then realize this guy might be a creep.
00:20:49.380 Okay, fine.
00:20:50.140 But you're still working for him.
00:20:51.500 But if you knew he or she is doing something illegal,
00:20:54.840 then it's up to you to use your own moral code
00:20:58.820 to figure out what the fuck can do.
00:21:01.240 Okay?
00:21:02.560 If you witness someone committing a crime,
00:21:05.220 well, shit.
00:21:06.880 What's your moral obligation out of that?
00:21:08.760 It doesn't matter if you're serving in the military
00:21:11.140 or working in a goddamn bakery.

00:21:27.260 Really?
00:21:28.260 It doesn't fucking matter where you're working.
00:21:30.860 You see someone commit a heinous crime,
00:21:32.920 harassing a female co-worker,
00:21:34.280 or harassing a male co-worker.
00:21:35.800 It doesn't matter what gender.
00:21:37.520 Because, yeah, men can be sexually harassed too there, folks.
00:21:40.760 Right?
00:21:41.380 And there's a person I know in my life who was, by the way.
00:21:44.520 And I'll save that for another time.
00:21:45.920 But, yeah, it's there.
00:21:47.280 It's a two-sided fucking coin.
00:21:49.900 Regardless of how you look at it.
00:21:51.160 But now, all this stuff is coming out of the woodwork.
00:21:54.640 Right?
00:21:55.100 What our civilian leadership is doing
00:21:56.660 with our military leadership and vice versa.
00:21:59.180 Who's covering each other's backs?
00:22:00.560 Who's scratching here?
00:22:01.800 Who's giving a slap and tickle here
00:22:03.260 and a little more incentive?
00:22:04.820 And the proof is right there in the fucking pudding.
00:22:06.780 And I'll leave links in my description
00:22:07.760 for you guys to read along and decide too.
00:22:09.360 But I tried watching the video that the major did.
00:22:13.560 And it's quite, I wouldn't say it's disturbing.
00:22:16.900 It's hard to watch because, based on my experience
00:22:20.240 with the service, I can relate to her.
00:22:21.840 And I can kind of feel her pain.
00:22:24.980 But I want you, my listeners, to watch it for yourselves and decide.
00:22:30.240 It's just, holy fuck.
00:22:31.560 Just horrendous.
00:22:33.820 Just, uh...
00:22:35.060 It's disturbing because when you look up to senior leadership
00:22:38.120 in any job,
00:22:39.160 it doesn't matter if it's the military,
00:22:40.320 police forces, fire services,
00:22:42.520 ambulatory services,
00:22:43.680 you try to embrace that mentorship
00:22:47.400 to the best of your ability.
00:22:49.340 And we're all guilty of hanging on
00:22:51.180 to these people's every fucking word.
00:22:54.260 Because when you look at the experience they have
00:22:56.220 and you look at the dedication,
00:22:57.480 the time and effort
00:22:58.200 they have put into their job
00:23:00.380 to either become an NCO
00:23:02.040 or to become an officer,
00:23:03.780 you want to believe everything they say.
00:23:07.460 Because they're presenting something to you.
00:23:09.740 They're showing you.
00:23:10.760 They're giving you that example
00:23:12.280 of how to be better at PT.
00:23:14.580 How to be better at navigation.
00:23:16.080 How to be better at a good shot.
00:23:18.220 How to be a better reconnaissance individual.
00:23:20.460 How to be a better, um...
00:23:22.280 Well, how to be a better soldier altogether.
00:23:25.880 And then when you find this shit out,
00:23:28.020 when you look
00:23:29.360 at what some of these people have done
00:23:32.380 or what they're being accused of,
00:23:34.820 everything you have believed in
00:23:36.880 about said lieutenant
00:23:38.880 or said captain
00:23:40.140 or said major
00:23:40.800 or general
00:23:41.520 or lieutenant colonel,
00:23:43.000 it doesn't matter.
00:23:43.940 All of a sudden,
00:23:44.960 things change.
00:23:46.660 And, wow.
00:23:48.580 Your perspective's different.
00:23:51.080 It is.
00:23:52.020 It is.
00:23:52.620 And I know a lot of guys back
00:23:53.820 in my home unit
00:23:54.680 who would back up Vance
00:23:56.480 till the cows came home.
00:23:58.600 But with these allegations
00:23:59.500 that are continuing to surface,
00:24:01.820 I can see how difficult it's going to be.
00:24:04.600 I never met the man.
00:24:06.620 I never met him personally.
00:24:11.280 I met Rick Hillier
00:24:12.380 back in Afghanistan.
00:24:13.580 Nice guy.
00:24:15.080 Personable.
00:24:15.720 Friendly.
00:24:16.320 I read part of his book.
00:24:17.520 I read one of his books
00:24:18.580 in leadership.
00:24:18.980 I got to read it again, though.
00:24:20.460 A little rusty
00:24:20.980 when it comes to military history,
00:24:22.540 but so I'm still working on that.
00:24:23.920 But still,
00:24:24.880 I got to read it again
00:24:25.480 and get it on the go.
00:24:26.520 But needless to say,
00:24:27.380 I'm just,
00:24:30.880 I'm shocked,
00:24:31.720 really,
00:24:32.660 for my 20 years of service
00:24:34.740 and working with some great people
00:24:35.900 and actually following
00:24:37.820 and believing
00:24:39.060 in some of my leaders.
00:24:40.760 This takes it
00:24:41.580 to a new level, folks.
00:24:43.380 And
00:24:43.500 if there's anyone
00:24:45.760 listening to this podcast
00:24:46.820 right now,
00:24:47.440 if there's any women
00:24:48.140 in this service right now
00:24:49.280 listening to this podcast,
00:24:50.640 don't be afraid
00:24:52.340 to reach out to me.
00:24:54.120 You don't have to use
00:24:55.020 your real name.
00:24:55.680 Don't have to use
00:24:56.220 your real identity.
00:24:56.740 Just fine.
00:24:57.820 Just give me some facts
00:24:58.960 and figures
00:24:59.540 and give me some points.
00:25:02.420 And let me help you.
00:25:04.360 Okay?
00:25:06.040 Let me help you.
00:25:07.500 Because I still know
00:25:08.620 some people in my circle.
00:25:10.700 And
00:25:11.020 if you want to get
00:25:12.760 your story out
00:25:13.560 and if you have
00:25:14.360 something to say,
00:25:15.540 please
00:25:15.860 do not hesitate
00:25:17.780 to give me an email.

00:25:22.560 You can find
00:25:23.560 all my information
00:25:24.340 in my description
00:25:25.000 and my videos
00:25:25.720 and my podcasts.
00:25:26.940 So please,
00:25:27.840 don't hesitate, ladies.
00:25:29.880 And men too.
00:25:30.760 If you are,
00:25:32.560 if you feel
00:25:33.680 that you're being harassed,
00:25:34.700 and I'm talking
00:25:35.220 not just idle chit-chat
00:25:36.640 and name-calling,
00:25:37.700 I'm talking
00:25:38.240 if you feel
00:25:39.580 that you're being harassed
00:25:40.760 and
00:25:42.540 you want someone
00:25:44.200 to talk to about it,
00:25:45.140 by all means,
00:25:46.200 let me know.
00:25:47.400 Reach out to me.
00:25:48.760 And I'll do
00:25:49.420 what I can for you.
00:25:50.480 Okay?
00:25:50.860 That's a fucking promise.
00:25:53.000 So,
00:25:53.560 don't hesitate.
00:25:55.380 My door is open,
00:25:56.340 or my cyber door
00:25:57.160 is open, per se.
00:25:58.400 So please,
00:25:59.240 come on in.
00:25:59.940 Let me fucking know
00:26:00.680 what your problem is,
00:26:01.640 and we can find
00:26:02.920 a viable solution
00:26:03.840 to do something
00:26:05.320 about it.
00:26:06.200 Right?
00:26:07.140 And we're moving on
00:26:07.820 again too
00:26:08.260 with the whole
00:26:09.080 Earth Day lockdowns.
00:26:12.000 Right?
00:26:12.500 They're still promoting
00:26:13.220 the whole fucking
00:26:13.920 checking your papers
00:26:14.920 at the border thing,
00:26:15.960 trying to validate
00:26:17.380 who you are
00:26:18.340 and why you coming here
00:26:19.380 and what's going on.
00:26:20.680 Again,
00:26:21.140 all in the name
00:26:21.540 of the fucking safety.
00:26:22.780 And my logic is this,
00:26:24.080 you're not being safe.
00:26:25.460 You're being totalitarian
00:26:26.580 yet again.
00:26:27.900 Now,
00:26:28.120 I've had some more people
00:26:28.820 weigh in too,
00:26:29.420 my Facebook pages,
00:26:31.420 telling me how the budget's
00:26:32.860 a good thing,
00:26:33.600 and,
00:26:34.100 oh,
00:26:34.200 crusty Canuck,
00:26:34.780 you're nothing but a
00:26:35.220 fucking armchair politician,
00:26:36.600 and you think you know this,
00:26:37.540 and you think you know that,
00:26:38.320 and it's like,
00:26:38.720 well,
00:26:39.320 based on my 20 years of service
00:26:40.760 and working with some great people
00:26:43.760 and seeing leadership
00:26:44.720 leadership at its lowest
00:26:46.320 and seeing leadership
00:26:47.420 at its finest,
00:26:48.720 I think I have something
00:26:49.900 to say
00:26:50.560 when it comes to
00:26:51.720 strange people
00:26:52.440 spending our money
00:26:53.340 and spending us
00:26:54.080 into oblivion
00:26:54.860 and then turning around
00:26:56.140 creating more fucking taxes
00:26:57.640 in the name of a virtue
00:26:59.100 that's really not gonna
00:27:00.620 fucking hurt us
00:27:01.480 in the long run.
00:27:02.560 So,
00:27:02.900 yeah,
00:27:03.200 I think I'm fucking qualified
00:27:04.660 to discuss it
00:27:05.820 and throw my hat in the ring
00:27:07.380 in the political spectrum.
00:27:08.960 Right?
00:27:09.960 Because I believe
00:27:10.680 in looking after
00:27:11.240 your constituents.
00:27:12.240 Not looking after your party,
00:27:13.940 but looking after
00:27:14.340 your constituents.
00:27:15.260 So,
00:27:15.620 I think I'm fucking qualified
00:27:17.000 there,
00:27:17.320 Buckeyes.
00:27:18.260 Right?
00:27:18.920 But like,
00:27:19.260 say I encourage people
00:27:20.080 to weigh in on what I say
00:27:21.700 and what I do.
00:27:22.740 And you want to encourage debate?
00:27:24.020 Encourage debate.
00:27:24.700 By all means,
00:27:25.220 debate me all you want to.
00:27:27.340 I'm there for that.
00:27:28.380 That's why I do this.
00:27:29.320 Because I like to get
00:27:29.960 the dialogue going,
00:27:30.780 conversations going.
00:27:31.980 But if you're gonna sit there
00:27:32.820 and assume things
00:27:34.540 based on a meme
00:27:35.540 or based on a thumbnail,
00:27:37.580 then you're wasting
00:27:38.140 my fucking time.
00:27:39.620 And you're wasting your own.

00:27:55.240 Anyway,
00:27:55.900 carrying on.
00:27:56.740 We're at the point
00:27:57.240 of the show too.
00:27:58.120 Last episode,
00:27:58.920 I did not have
00:27:59.460 a Polar Vortex
00:28:00.240 of Bullshit recipient,
00:28:02.280 but this week I do
00:28:04.080 or this day I do.
00:28:05.800 So,
00:28:06.200 after plenty
00:28:07.380 of consideration,
00:28:09.100 based on
00:28:10.000 what I've seen
00:28:10.900 the past couple
00:28:11.800 of days
00:28:12.280 in news reports
00:28:13.120 and what have you.
00:28:15.500 Based on,
00:28:17.520 well,
00:28:18.260 just the social spectrum
00:28:19.420 and where it's going,
00:28:22.600 the Polar Vortex
00:28:24.040 of Bullshit award
00:28:25.600 will go to,
00:28:27.960 wait for it,
00:28:29.360 Prime Minister
00:28:39.240 Justin Trudeau.
00:28:51.880 The Canadian
00:28:53.320 Polar Vortex
00:28:55.220 of Bullshit
00:28:56.960 goes to our
00:28:59.500 beloved Prime Minister
00:29:00.220 Justin Trudeau
00:29:01.120 for his lackluster
00:29:02.500 performance
00:29:03.080 when it comes to
00:29:03.960 cutting more emissions,
00:29:05.560 his part in the budget,
00:29:07.340 not really explaining
00:29:08.520 how it's going to work,
00:29:10.260 and just carrying on
00:29:11.160 with the whole
00:29:11.600 virtue BS.
00:29:14.180 So,
00:29:14.520 congratulations,
00:29:15.240 Prime Minister.
00:29:15.920 You have just won
00:29:16.560 yourself the...
00:29:18.720 The Canadian
00:29:19.840 Polar Vortex
00:29:21.720 of Bullshit.
00:29:23.420 Well done, sir.
00:29:30.620 Well done,
00:29:31.920 thank you.
00:29:32.720 Anyway,
00:29:33.080 carrying on again,
00:29:33.800 too,
00:29:34.120 with more of the
00:29:34.660 Happy Earth Day
00:29:35.880 lockdown.
00:29:37.400 Now,
00:29:37.920 when it comes to
00:29:38.680 looking after
00:29:39.680 Mother Earth,
00:29:41.160 we all do simple things.
00:29:42.580 We all look after things.
00:29:43.600 We're not going to
00:29:44.040 intentionally throw our
00:29:45.180 garbage in the side
00:29:46.000 of the road.
00:29:46.740 We're not going to
00:29:47.480 drop our drawers
00:29:48.180 and take a dump
00:29:48.900 on the highway.
00:29:50.100 Mind you,
00:29:50.620 I've seen that
00:29:50.960 a couple of times.
00:29:51.720 It's quite interesting,
00:29:52.720 but still.
00:29:55.120 Maybe some other time
00:29:56.240 I'll tell you that story.
00:29:57.720 But,
00:29:57.980 we all have common sense
00:30:01.440 here when it comes to
00:30:02.360 looking after what's clean
00:30:04.540 or keeping things clean.
00:30:06.480 We all have common sense
00:30:07.640 when it comes to
00:30:08.280 knowing what to do
00:30:10.100 with our trash.
00:30:11.760 But,
00:30:12.300 I'm not seeing
00:30:13.160 any incentives
00:30:14.360 out there.
00:30:16.180 Okay?
00:30:16.520 And we had this talk
00:30:17.420 on the fastball
00:30:18.520 there yesterday
00:30:19.080 when I was sitting
00:30:20.100 with Frank.
00:30:20.560 and where's
00:30:22.860 the incentives?
00:30:23.580 Where's the incentives
00:30:24.240 for,
00:30:24.720 let's say,
00:30:25.660 a local farmer
00:30:26.460 or someone
00:30:27.260 in the suburban
00:30:27.820 surrounding
00:30:28.400 to generate
00:30:29.440 their own electricity?
00:30:30.540 Where's the incentive
00:30:31.200 to recycle things
00:30:32.360 to create
00:30:33.340 your own power?
00:30:35.020 Right?
00:30:35.260 I've said this before
00:30:36.180 a few times.
00:30:36.800 Hemp.
00:30:37.380 Look at the power
00:30:38.140 of hemp.
00:30:39.060 Look what you can do
00:30:40.000 with the hemp product.
00:30:41.800 Right?
00:30:42.560 You can grow proteins.
00:30:43.960 Hemp protein
00:30:44.420 is excellent protein.
00:30:46.200 Right?
00:30:46.380 You can make fibers
00:30:47.120 for clothing.
00:30:48.100 You can make brints.
00:30:49.220 Brints.
00:30:50.800 Brints.
00:30:51.560 Brints.
00:30:52.020 What the hell's a brints?
00:30:53.140 You can make bricks
00:30:54.040 from hemp.
00:30:56.880 It can also make
00:30:57.460 a valuable fuel.
00:30:59.420 It can help create
00:31:00.120 good biodiesel.
00:31:01.740 Right?
00:31:03.040 And it's one of those
00:31:04.120 things that pays
00:31:04.840 for itself later on
00:31:05.920 down the road.
00:31:07.060 Right?
00:31:07.580 So,
00:31:07.960 if you own a piece
00:31:08.760 of land,
00:31:09.240 let's say you have
00:31:09.900 about 10 or 20 acres
00:31:11.000 and you can plant
00:31:12.920 10 acres of hemp.
00:31:14.760 You're on to something.
00:31:15.800 But we don't do that
00:31:17.240 because every municipality
00:31:18.300 and provincial government
00:31:19.400 has a monopoly
00:31:20.140 on the grid.
00:31:22.100 Right?
00:31:23.160 And if you take yourself
00:31:24.380 off the grid,
00:31:25.060 you get punished.
00:31:26.140 And if you use
00:31:26.920 the benefits of the grid
00:31:28.040 without paying,
00:31:28.820 you get punished.
00:31:29.780 So,
00:31:30.300 you're damned if you do
00:31:31.060 and you're damned
00:31:31.500 if you don't.
00:31:32.020 Well,
00:31:32.160 let's change that mandate,
00:31:33.580 ladies and gentlemen.
00:31:35.020 Okay?
00:31:35.980 Let's change that
00:31:36.900 fucking mandate.
00:31:39.060 Right?
00:31:40.360 I'm thinking of ways
00:31:41.340 to get money back
00:31:42.180 into people's pockets again
00:31:43.520 so people can
00:31:44.260 pay their bills
00:31:45.340 and turn on the lights
00:31:46.180 without feeling guilty
00:31:47.040 or fill up their tanks
00:31:48.620 without feeling guilty,
00:31:50.280 cut in their grass
00:31:50.980 without feeling guilty.
00:31:52.780 I want people
00:31:53.640 to go about their lives
00:31:54.780 and their businesses
00:31:55.440 without doing
00:31:56.580 the old Mel Cooper thing,
00:31:57.780 beating themselves
00:31:58.320 with the fucking
00:31:58.800 knowledge branch
00:31:59.500 because there's
00:32:00.360 some aficionado
00:32:01.200 who might have
00:32:02.320 a degree
00:32:02.780 in something
00:32:03.920 other than humility
00:32:04.840 telling them
00:32:05.700 what to fucking do.
00:32:07.500 Right?
00:32:08.820 So,
00:32:09.560 let's promote
00:32:10.560 self-sufficiency.
00:32:12.600 Okay?
00:32:13.080 Let's start
00:32:14.260 creating our own
00:32:15.060 monopolies
00:32:15.720 and helping
00:32:16.240 ourselves out again.
00:32:18.260 Right?
00:32:18.620 The past couple days
00:32:19.480 I have been looking
00:32:20.160 at ways to
00:32:20.960 generate power
00:32:22.300 from car batteries.
00:32:24.100 You know,
00:32:24.300 I know you need
00:32:24.680 a standard 24 volts
00:32:25.880 as a base
00:32:26.800 to do that.
00:32:28.140 Right?
00:32:28.820 But is there ways
00:32:29.480 that I can use wind
00:32:30.440 to generate
00:32:31.540 electricity in my house?
00:32:32.720 Is there ways
00:32:33.100 I can use a treadmill?
00:32:34.340 I know there's
00:32:34.740 schematics out there,
00:32:35.480 I just gotta look for them.
00:32:36.520 But that's up me,
00:32:37.240 that's onto me.
00:32:38.300 And I encourage you,
00:32:39.360 my listeners out there,
00:32:40.540 think of the ways
00:32:41.120 to do it.
00:32:42.620 You know?
00:32:43.100 If you've got
00:32:43.660 a running stream
00:32:44.420 near your place
00:32:45.440 and you,
00:32:46.640 let's say,
00:32:46.980 put a little
00:32:47.440 fan in there,
00:32:49.060 perhaps,
00:32:49.760 you know?
00:32:51.280 Some kind of way
00:32:52.060 of generating
00:32:52.600 your own hydroelectricity
00:32:53.740 by using the power
00:32:54.860 of the current
00:32:55.360 to generate power
00:32:56.920 to your home.
00:32:58.360 Innovations
00:32:58.760 are endless
00:32:59.680 out there
00:33:00.300 to help yourself.
00:33:01.920 And I think
00:33:02.280 we should start
00:33:02.820 doing that more
00:33:03.920 instead of relying
00:33:05.420 on the government's teat.
00:33:06.780 Now,
00:33:06.980 the way things
00:33:07.340 are going right now
00:33:07.980 in Ottawa,
00:33:08.920 like I said,
00:33:09.540 they okayed
00:33:10.420 the second reading
00:33:11.060 of the budget,
00:33:11.980 of course,
00:33:12.420 they block
00:33:12.840 and the NDP
00:33:13.300 is all behind it
00:33:14.120 because they want
00:33:14.660 to hold on
00:33:15.060 to their jobs
00:33:15.600 for dear life,
00:33:17.220 right?
00:33:17.520 To maintain
00:33:18.240 whatever little power
00:33:19.120 they have left
00:33:19.860 because we know
00:33:20.760 the NDP
00:33:21.200 doesn't have a pot
00:33:21.900 to piss in.
00:33:23.360 And I know
00:33:23.960 for a fact
00:33:24.400 every time
00:33:24.740 the block
00:33:25.220 it gets voted in,
00:33:26.420 they're either
00:33:27.020 up or down,
00:33:27.980 on the bus,
00:33:28.680 off the bus.
00:33:29.280 It doesn't really
00:33:29.780 fucking matter.
00:33:30.920 It's basically
00:33:31.380 just holding
00:33:31.860 whatever seat
00:33:32.480 they have
00:33:33.040 and making
00:33:33.960 that cool
00:33:34.520 183,000 bucks
00:33:35.960 a year
00:33:36.400 on the backs
00:33:37.980 of the Canadian
00:33:38.500 taxpayer,
00:33:39.920 right?
00:33:40.960 We can all agree
00:33:41.760 that that budget
00:33:42.380 was not a budget,
00:33:43.260 it was just an excuse
00:33:43.860 to spend more
00:33:44.500 goddamn money,
00:33:45.820 right?
00:33:46.720 And really,
00:33:47.300 the only people
00:33:47.660 that are going
00:33:47.880 to benefit
00:33:48.280 from said budget
00:33:49.440 that was read
00:33:50.400 and tabled
00:33:51.100 are the handful
00:33:52.180 of people
00:33:52.580 that have supported
00:33:53.260 the Liberal mandates
00:33:54.400 in regards to
00:33:55.680 stopping production
00:33:56.640 of oil and gas,
00:33:57.900 stopping our
00:33:58.880 natural resources,
00:34:00.160 screwing Canadian farmers,
00:34:01.940 and that's just
00:34:02.380 all Canadian farmers,
00:34:03.400 ladies and gentlemen,
00:34:03.820 that's just not
00:34:04.280 out here in the West.
00:34:05.640 That's dairy farmers
00:34:07.080 in Ontario,
00:34:08.940 Quebec,
00:34:09.620 and New Brunswick
00:34:10.140 and Nova Scotia
00:34:10.840 alike, too.
00:34:12.540 So,
00:34:13.500 something to ponder.
00:34:15.420 But,
00:34:16.420 I don't know,
00:34:16.820 it's up to you.

00:34:39.120 ladies and gentlemen,
00:34:39.900 the last pit of this show.
00:34:42.360 Sunday Fastball

00:34:43.980 too,
00:34:44.200 so please join myself,
00:34:45.860 Adam Daniel-Mazay,
00:34:46.760 another panel guest
00:34:47.760 for a weekly panel
00:34:48.860 where we talk about
00:34:50.260 social,
00:34:51.500 political,
00:34:52.180 and just other issues
00:34:53.480 that affect us
00:34:54.220 Canucks
00:34:54.600 every day.
00:34:56.460 We do a weekly show,
00:34:57.380 we just sit and chew the fat.
00:34:59.020 But everything that's
00:34:59.780 on our minds
00:35:00.480 and about
00:35:00.960 other solutions
00:35:02.120 and how we can fix
00:35:02.960 certain problems
00:35:03.560 and dissect
00:35:05.040 some of the buffoonery
00:35:06.080 that's representing us
00:35:07.060 in government today.
00:35:08.500 So please tune in
00:35:09.720 4 o'clock
00:35:10.800 every Sunday
00:35:11.980 out in Standard Time.
00:35:13.660 We stream live
00:35:14.860 on Facebook
00:35:15.600 and YouTube.
00:35:17.180 Go live,
00:35:17.880 so please ask us
00:35:18.740 anything you want to know.
00:35:20.280 We don't care
00:35:20.800 what kind of bomb you drop.
00:35:21.900 You can drop an F-bomb,
00:35:22.900 a C-bomb,
00:35:23.460 we don't mind.
00:35:24.440 Just no racial bigotry
00:35:25.920 and no blatant sexism
00:35:28.100 too.
00:35:28.840 That just gets redundant
00:35:29.780 after a while.
00:35:31.060 And we don't tolerate.
00:35:32.460 So,
00:35:33.200 keep that in mind, folks.
00:35:34.060 And please check out my shop,

00:36:36.560 And I'm going to be looking
00:36:37.340 at some other platforms
00:36:38.460 eventually.

00:36:41.160 Just getting everything
00:36:42.040 organized and,
00:36:43.040 you know,
00:36:43.460 all the technical stuff
00:36:45.320 sorted out.
00:36:46.400 But yeah,
00:36:46.760 I'm working on that too.
00:36:47.460 But in the meantime,
00:36:48.160 keep sharing this stuff
00:36:49.040 all over the place
00:36:50.520 if you can too.
00:36:51.160 And please consider joining
00:36:53.200 me on the tech cast

00:37:11.720 Join super cast

00:37:16.000 I'm doing about
00:37:16.500 two episodes now a week.
00:37:18.420 So really,
00:37:19.180 for $5 a month,
00:37:20.140 you get roughly
00:37:20.800 eight episodes.
00:37:22.440 I think that's
00:37:22.900 a pretty good deal.
00:37:24.200 Plus it helps me out
00:37:25.100 and I like to make this
00:37:25.820 a full-time commitment.
00:37:27.040 So it's up to you,
00:37:27.920 my listeners and fans alike
00:37:29.220 to help me make that happen.
00:37:31.300 So please consider
00:37:32.300 joining me on super cast
00:37:34.320 and do what you can
00:37:36.060 to contribute.
00:37:37.360 Anyway,
00:37:37.940 carrying on again
00:37:38.580 with more Earth Day
00:37:39.400 lockdown stuff.
00:37:40.880 Yes.
00:37:42.360 It just seems like
00:37:43.420 every other day
00:37:44.320 there's always something new.
00:37:45.360 There's always something new
00:37:46.460 in the mainstream media
00:37:47.300 telling us what to think,
00:37:49.300 what to do,
00:37:50.080 what's fair,
00:37:50.900 what's not fair.
00:37:52.480 Right?
00:37:53.000 And with all this violence
00:37:54.420 going on in the United States,
00:37:55.640 especially with
00:37:56.540 the so-called
00:37:58.320 racial inequity,
00:37:59.920 now,
00:38:00.640 Mr. Chauvin
00:38:01.280 committed a crime.
00:38:02.340 As far as I'm concerned,
00:38:03.100 he committed a crime,
00:38:03.640 he was guilty.
00:38:05.200 Okay?
00:38:05.560 What he did,
00:38:06.180 I think,
00:38:06.480 was really out of the
00:38:07.040 fucking line.
00:38:08.320 It wasn't right
00:38:09.140 for Mr. Floyd to die
00:38:10.140 the way he did.
00:38:11.900 It wasn't,
00:38:12.880 regardless of his
00:38:13.560 criminal background or not.
00:38:15.360 Okay?
00:38:15.680 It wasn't right
00:38:16.200 for that teenage girl
00:38:17.040 to die.
00:38:18.360 But,
00:38:18.920 in the same sense,
00:38:20.900 that teenage girl
00:38:21.580 in Ohio
00:38:22.060 pulled a knife
00:38:23.040 on somebody
00:38:23.820 and had the intent
00:38:25.740 on doing something
00:38:27.880 heinous.
00:38:29.620 Okay?
00:38:30.520 Had the intent.
00:38:32.360 Now,
00:38:32.880 I've been in situations
00:38:33.740 before where people
00:38:34.620 have pulled weapons off.
00:38:35.700 Now,
00:38:35.880 mind you,
00:38:36.200 that was a theater
00:38:36.720 of operations.
00:38:37.860 That's a different story,
00:38:39.180 but not entirely
00:38:40.140 a different story
00:38:40.840 either too.
00:38:42.260 You're taught to react
00:38:43.140 promptly and safely
00:38:44.340 to the best
00:38:44.980 of your ability.
00:38:46.080 Now,
00:38:46.240 maybe that cop
00:38:46.840 might have been
00:38:47.140 in line for pumping
00:38:47.920 four rounds,
00:38:49.780 but needless to say,
00:38:50.820 he reacted to a
00:38:51.540 dangerous situation
00:38:52.460 to save another life.
00:38:54.820 And that's the risk
00:38:55.760 you'd have taken.
00:38:56.300 It doesn't matter
00:38:56.760 what side of the border
00:38:57.700 you're on, folks.
00:38:59.040 There are a lot
00:38:59.580 of Canadian police officers
00:39:00.480 who had to do
00:39:01.220 the same thing.
00:39:02.780 Right?
00:39:03.240 I don't have
00:39:03.660 an example handy,
00:39:05.020 but I'm sure
00:39:05.540 there's plenty out there
00:39:06.300 to choose from.
00:39:08.020 Right?
00:39:09.100 And I'm getting tired
00:39:10.240 of the race baiters too.
00:39:11.380 It's like,
00:39:11.640 really,
00:39:11.800 oh,
00:39:11.940 it's a racist thing.
00:39:12.760 It's a racist thing.
00:39:14.140 It's like,
00:39:14.720 here's a cop
00:39:15.360 who happens to be white.
00:39:16.440 Not that it matters.
00:39:17.660 And here's two teenage girls
00:39:19.020 who happen to be black.
00:39:19.980 Not that it matters
00:39:20.600 either too.
00:39:22.380 One had a knife
00:39:23.380 and she had intent
00:39:25.020 on fucking some girl up.
00:39:27.340 Really bad.
00:39:28.900 Now,
00:39:29.280 this cop reacted.
00:39:32.060 What's the problem?
00:39:33.860 Right?
00:39:34.780 It's sad
00:39:35.500 that people have to die.
00:39:37.020 Yeah,
00:39:37.340 I agree.
00:39:38.260 And I'm not
00:39:38.780 justifying anyone's death,
00:39:40.680 but
00:39:40.820 that's the price
00:39:43.420 you gotta pay.
00:39:45.380 You know?
00:39:46.740 And
00:39:47.020 just because I'm Canadian,
00:39:50.300 just because I live
00:39:51.220 in the North,
00:39:51.760 that doesn't mean
00:39:52.280 I have no idea
00:39:53.040 what the hell
00:39:53.240 I'm talking about.
00:39:56.800 I've witnessed
00:39:57.380 situations like that before.
00:39:59.360 And it's pretty
00:40:00.100 fucking scary.
00:40:01.160 And it gets complicated,
00:40:02.620 but
00:40:02.800 like I said,
00:40:04.780 the proof's in the pudding,
00:40:05.620 folks.
00:40:06.500 There's the truth for you
00:40:07.520 right there and there.
00:40:10.020 And,
00:40:10.520 you know,
00:40:10.960 yeah,
00:40:11.360 we can sit and analyze
00:40:12.240 how we gotta do better here
00:40:13.340 and do better there
00:40:13.820 with police training,
00:40:14.560 but then again,
00:40:15.160 that's also in the United States too
00:40:16.440 and that's up to the state of Ohio
00:40:17.940 and that's up to that jurisdiction
00:40:19.760 to sort out.
00:40:21.880 But if we're constantly
00:40:22.480 gonna put police officers
00:40:23.840 in this position,
00:40:26.440 you know,
00:40:26.820 and constantly say,
00:40:27.980 oh,
00:40:28.060 let's abolish the police
00:40:29.120 and all these lives matter,
00:40:30.220 well,
00:40:30.940 every life matters too.
00:40:33.260 Okay?
00:40:34.500 Every life matters.
00:40:38.060 And it's,
00:40:38.960 to me,
00:40:39.220 it's not
00:40:39.760 an oppression
00:40:41.240 game.
00:40:42.400 It's,
00:40:42.640 it's,
00:40:43.120 it's fucking malarkey.
00:40:46.020 You know?
00:40:46.860 What was possessing
00:40:47.680 that teenage girl
00:40:48.420 with a knife
00:40:48.980 to do what she wanted to do
00:40:50.200 or what she was planning to do
00:40:52.180 or what she intended to do?
00:40:53.320 What was possessing her
00:40:54.360 to do that?
00:40:54.820 What kind of situation
00:40:55.620 was she in
00:40:56.360 that gave her the logic,
00:40:58.380 well,
00:40:58.500 I'm gonna take a knife
00:40:59.120 and I'm gonna cut somebody.
00:41:01.120 What was,
00:41:02.160 what was it?
00:41:02.600 Was it a school tuffle?
00:41:03.720 Was,
00:41:04.000 did someone steal something
00:41:05.140 from her?
00:41:06.420 Did someone steal her boyfriend
00:41:07.500 or girlfriend?
00:41:08.280 I don't know.
00:41:09.500 I'm sure there's lots of stories
00:41:10.560 out there in speculation
00:41:11.420 to back it up,
00:41:12.140 but I don't know.
00:41:13.720 And I'm sorry,
00:41:14.360 I don't mean to dwell on it.
00:41:15.420 It's,
00:41:15.780 it's an American issue
00:41:16.620 to my American listeners
00:41:17.340 out there.
00:41:18.020 I don't know.
00:41:18.620 You guys tell me,
00:41:19.360 you know where to reach me,
00:41:20.220 but needless to say,
00:41:22.340 you know,
00:41:22.560 when I've seen what I've read,
00:41:23.580 it just seems,
00:41:24.860 fuck,
00:41:25.060 here we go again.
00:41:26.460 Right?
00:41:26.920 And I'm not dismissing
00:41:28.320 anyone dying
00:41:29.020 in police custody
00:41:30.040 or in any kind of situation
00:41:31.940 with the police,
00:41:32.660 but we've got to look
00:41:34.480 at these both sides
00:41:35.620 very carefully
00:41:36.360 and with the utmost scrutiny too,
00:41:38.160 more so now.
00:41:39.860 Because,
00:41:40.500 you know,
00:41:40.980 I'm so tired
00:41:42.480 of the race baiting BS.
00:41:44.660 You always put race to it,
00:41:45.740 race to it,
00:41:46.180 oh,
00:41:46.280 it's a racist issue.
00:41:47.200 And I said,
00:41:47.440 no,
00:41:47.660 it's not a racist issue.
00:41:49.500 I think that cop acted accordingly.
00:41:52.040 Maybe overkill
00:41:52.860 with four rounds,
00:41:53.800 but in the same sense,
00:41:55.520 okay,
00:41:56.080 what was his best decision?
00:41:57.420 What was his logic at the time?
00:41:58.940 What was he thinking
00:41:59.600 in his mind?
00:42:00.940 You know,
00:42:01.240 what was going on?
00:42:03.760 Save a life
00:42:04.360 to take a life?
00:42:05.080 That happens.
00:42:06.760 That happens,
00:42:07.480 folks.
00:42:08.580 But I'm not going to dress up
00:42:09.520 a shit sandwich
00:42:10.080 and call it a submarine.
00:42:11.620 It is what it is.
00:42:13.040 And we're carrying on again
00:42:13.780 with more of the whole,
00:42:15.580 you know,
00:42:15.940 happy Earth Day,
00:42:16.720 lockdown.
00:42:17.480 Once again,
00:42:17.880 to my English friends,
00:42:18.660 happy St. George's Day.
00:42:21.360 And happy Friday,
00:42:22.440 Red Friday,
00:42:23.020 ladies and gentlemen.
00:42:23.540 It is Friday too.
00:42:24.540 So remember those guys
00:42:25.460 and gals deployed.
00:42:26.580 It doesn't matter
00:42:27.120 from the Canadian forces,
00:42:28.380 American forces,
00:42:29.180 British forces,
00:42:30.000 to our allies
00:42:31.160 who,
00:42:32.180 remember those deployed.
00:42:35.380 You know,
00:42:35.880 or your little red pin
00:42:36.880 or your country's flag,
00:42:39.020 whatever.
00:42:39.820 Just remember,
00:42:40.420 there are men and women
00:42:41.020 out there fighting
00:42:41.640 for the good fight somewhere.
00:42:44.140 We'll do what we can.
00:42:46.020 But in conclusion
00:42:46.620 of this show,
00:42:47.320 ladies and gentlemen,
00:42:47.900 we've got to do better
00:42:48.920 when it comes to
00:42:49.600 picking these leaders.
00:42:50.620 And I was invited
00:42:53.580 to a Freedom Rally
00:42:54.680 there in Calgary
00:42:55.540 next Saturday.
00:42:57.060 So I'm going to
00:42:57.920 probably confirm
00:42:59.380 my appearance there too.
00:43:00.940 So if you're in Calgary
00:43:01.780 next Saturday,
00:43:03.500 you might see yours truly,
00:43:05.160 Krusty Canuck,
00:43:05.800 there speaking.
00:43:07.360 So tune into that
00:43:08.440 if you can too.
00:43:10.460 I don't care
00:43:11.220 if you record me.
00:43:11.980 I don't care
00:43:12.340 if you tape me
00:43:13.180 or film me.
00:43:13.700 That's fine.
00:43:15.120 That's fine.
00:43:16.680 Just getting it
00:43:17.420 in the public.
00:43:18.400 I actually got a few bucks
00:43:19.340 I can afford
00:43:19.800 to drive down there
00:43:20.580 right now.
00:43:21.780 So, which is good.
00:43:22.820 I budgeted
00:43:23.540 so I might make
00:43:24.180 an appearance there too.
00:43:25.140 I just got to reconfirm
00:43:26.100 with the invitee
00:43:28.560 and just let them know
00:43:29.920 that I'm interested
00:43:30.400 and I'll do it.
00:43:31.900 And we'll go from there.
00:43:32.780 So next Saturday,
00:43:33.560 I believe it is.
00:43:36.120 Pick my calendar here.
00:43:37.780 Yeah, the first.
00:43:39.080 Ironically enough.
00:43:40.220 So the 1st of May.
00:43:41.640 As far as I know,
00:43:42.420 there's going to be
00:43:42.820 another Freedom Rally
00:43:43.480 in Calgary.
00:43:44.660 So I might make
00:43:45.280 an appearance there.
00:43:46.540 Speak a few words
00:43:47.280 of wisdom.
00:43:48.460 Maybe help my
00:43:49.580 pseudo-campaign
00:43:50.680 out for the
00:43:51.200 VCP party.
00:43:52.960 But I'll definitely
00:43:54.040 give that a shot
00:43:55.200 to you,
00:43:56.020 ladies and gentlemen.
00:43:57.220 Get the words
00:43:57.880 out there too.
00:43:58.800 I can only do so much
00:43:59.440 behind the microphone
00:44:00.140 I have to get in the public.
00:44:01.700 My people know
00:44:02.860 who I am
00:44:03.440 and what I stand for
00:44:04.220 and what's got to be done.
00:44:05.640 And it comes down
00:44:06.080 to freedom.
00:44:06.620 Freedom of choice.
00:44:07.240 Freedom to do.
00:44:07.660 Freedom to be.
00:44:09.360 Freedom to just let
00:44:10.420 people thrive.
00:44:11.700 And that's the thing.
00:44:12.240 We all got to thrive,
00:44:13.040 ladies and gentlemen.
00:44:14.220 You know,
00:44:14.520 there is lightning
00:44:15.080 in the tunnel.
00:44:15.780 There is.
00:44:16.980 We just got to keep
00:44:17.560 fighting for it
00:44:18.140 and keep finding it.
00:44:20.300 And like I say,
00:44:21.100 I'll just remind you
00:44:21.780 to tune in this Sunday
00:44:22.840 for the Sunday Fastball
00:44:25.220 with myself
00:44:25.660 and Adam Daniel Mazze.
00:44:26.920 And a big shout out
00:44:27.660 there to Gabriel Scheer
00:44:28.740 for his words of wisdom.
00:44:31.180 And before I go,
00:44:32.740 I just want to remind
00:44:33.540 some individuals too
00:44:34.600 that it's not racist
00:44:35.700 to speak your mind
00:44:36.540 based on an email
00:44:38.540 I just received
00:44:39.260 not even an hour ago.
00:44:40.900 Someone called me
00:44:41.500 a bigot,
00:44:41.980 but I just want to
00:44:42.480 tell these people,
00:44:43.300 not racist
00:44:43.820 to speak your mind,
00:44:44.680 folks.
00:44:44.980 So lay off the fear.
00:44:47.380 Start promoting
00:44:47.940 common sense.
00:44:49.400 All right?
00:44:50.240 Let's get back
00:44:50.940 to our grassroots
00:44:51.820 blue-collar know-how.
00:44:53.440 Start treating people
00:44:54.280 like people again.
00:44:55.720 Let's not worry about
00:44:56.440 what color or gender
00:44:57.280 they identify.
00:44:58.760 And let's not tiptoe
00:45:00.020 around anymore
00:45:00.520 on eggshells.
00:45:01.980 Start telling it
00:45:02.680 like it is.
00:45:03.160 Start being real.
00:45:04.580 And you can still be kind
00:45:05.480 and consider it
00:45:06.080 while you're doing that.
00:45:07.380 Anyway,
