00:00:00.000 welcome everyone to episode one of the Krusty connect podcast I'm your host Krusty it is a
00:00:13.980 beautiful 12th of March it's plus two outside beautiful eastern Alberta and well here we go
00:00:20.400 today's topic will be well pretty pretty straightforward identity politics
00:00:28.320 now where do you begin with that with all this new trendy buzzwords when it comes to
00:00:35.220 who's straight who's gay who sexual preferences this who sexual preferences that who identifies 0.65
00:00:43.080 with what I just I just shake my head I mean really like as I've mentioned in my videos on YouTube
00:00:52.320 I'm I'm a pretty tolerant guy when it comes to to people I was raised in that kind of household
00:00:58.680 you know we never condemned anybody for being homosexual or for being bisexual you know my
00:01:05.580 parents were straight I'm straight my sisters are straight so it's not like it's you know any kind
00:01:12.180 of new fantastic you know revolution but when you look back in the past you know five years
00:01:17.920 with the rights and the opportunities that homosexuals are given it's fantastic it's a
00:01:25.220 wonder why we haven't done that sooner but then you bring in the whole identity politics men being
00:01:33.440 confused about their gender women being abused about the gender and the whole the whole can of worms when 1.00
00:01:41.700 it comes to identifying with people and saying who's who and who's what you know I personally don't
00:01:48.700 care honestly I I don't care how anyone lives their life as long as they're doing it by their own means
00:01:54.360 they're not sucking the life out of someone else and they're not hurting people in the process you
00:02:00.820 know generally people do get upset when you change a lifestyle sure you know my parents are disappointed
00:02:06.600 when I want to join the military you know they expected me to to be mr college guy or mr university
00:02:12.980 guy and that just wasn't for me um especially now with what goes on in a lot of universities and
00:02:19.980 colleges with the identity issues and and feelings and stuff and safe spaces what a load of baloney 1.00
00:02:27.820 you know but to any of my listeners out there that happen to be transgendered this is not
00:02:33.660 any way to harm you or harness you or tell you where to get off you know all I can say is hope
00:02:41.080 you have a good journey and you find what you want and you make yourself happy you know isn't that the
00:02:47.200 idea of trying to you know find sense in your life to define your own happiness you know but uh when it
00:02:55.080 comes to the identity issue especially it comes to this pronoun issue that a lot of our uh faculty and
00:03:02.260 administration and of course a lot of our government been weighing in on it just becomes a real real
00:03:07.940 nightmare you got to say z or zonk whatever made abbreviation you got to say they you know everybody's
00:03:15.000 seen that video of the guy online in the gaming store chastising other customers and the staff for
00:03:20.220 not calling him ma'am it is ma'am yeah okay sure when I look at it if someone politely said to me
00:03:30.660 saying excuse me could you call me she or call me they I honestly don't find any harm in that
00:03:37.860 but when said person turns around and says to me that there's more than two genders
00:03:46.120 that's where I kind of put my guard up and say uh no there are two genders and there's many 1.00
00:03:54.640 personalities it's been proven over and over again from dr jordan peterson to janice v mango to gad sad
00:04:01.600 uh to uh some of my uh conservative libertarian friends down south you know i did the intellects
00:04:09.360 out there you know regardless of what political stance you have you can't hold up four fingers
00:04:15.600 and say that there's six just to further your narrative and you know like i say on my uh biography
00:04:24.480 part of my web page don't try to tell me that the sun is the moon and the moon is the sun just to
00:04:29.600 further your your agenda you know if you're having a hard time understanding who you are then there are
00:04:36.800 resources out there to help you all right that's it's proven time and time again what i don't agree
00:04:44.400 with is when you're teaching young kids how they can just automatically change whatever happened to
00:04:54.640 young boys being little boys and young girls being little girls you know let let them grow into their
00:05:00.080 own way like we all should instead you get this political agenda where you've got to change
00:05:08.080 everything just to make a handful of people happy or a minuscule percentage i think the stat is something
00:05:17.280 like under one percent or it's something like point eight nine or point six seven percent of canada's
00:05:25.600 population is quote unquote transgendered or trans so why are all of a sudden these institutions
00:05:33.840 teaching young kids about that you know and you're teaching them that you can just magically change
00:05:41.440 yourself into a unicorn because you will it you know magically have pixie dust in your pocket and
00:05:47.520 and all the pain that will goes away no no it doesn't i'm not an educator you know i i've i've taught
00:05:57.040 troops uh things about drill discipline and field craft and and the fine art of shooting your rifle
00:06:06.640 but you know the idea of gender was never an issue where i came from you knew who you were you
00:06:13.680 know maybe i was lucky when i hit puberty i i knew what i liked i started becoming who i am
00:06:20.560 you know and yeah my hats go off to those individuals that are struggling trying to find out who they are
00:06:28.720 gender dysphoria is a real issue it's not just back back talk or hearsay well
00:06:35.120 um to my listeners as i say again
00:06:41.520 if anybody out there is transgendered you know i'm not trying to offend you or trying to harness you or
00:06:47.200 tell you that you don't exist well that just don't tell the rest of the world that the sun is the moon
00:06:52.720 the moon is the sun it's not going to happen right that's no and that's that's where you get the conflict
00:06:58.480 you know you go on youtube or any kind of uh video service and you'll find the constant debate with
00:07:06.320 the transgender issue you know any man with a wig and makeup on well you know all of a sudden he's a 0.99
00:07:11.680 girl and then any girl with hormone shots and grows a beard now and now she's a man and then you you see 0.94
00:07:18.080 the articles where you know transgendered man gives birth it's like well you're you're not a man if you give 0.89
00:07:25.040 birth every female of the mammal species gives birth that's biology that's that's that's nature you know
00:07:39.040 i could sit here and will and will and will all i want you know and say you know i you know i'm a
00:07:44.480 star trek fan so does that mean i can will myself to be a starship captain no of course not that's just
00:07:51.520 that's just play that's pretend you know it's like a glorified role-playing you know
00:07:59.120 but to sit there and try to tell me that you're a man and yet you're breastfeeding uh no sorry 0.95
00:08:07.520 i don't buy it you know i'm not going to sit and argue with you and debate with you and call you a freak 0.93
00:08:13.200 but don't turn around call me a transphobe no i'm not a phobe i don't fear trans people i don't fear 0.99
00:08:22.720 people i sometimes fear stupidity and i sometimes fear ignorance because some ignorance leads to 0.98
00:08:30.880 certain actions which can lead to really bad solutions so and it's fear i don't fear 0.99
00:08:39.520 fear anybody who was going through a transition you know i just don't buy the native that in their 0.99
00:08:46.320 native correction the narrative that
00:08:53.120 bruce jenner became caitlin jenner and now is woman of the year i don't buy that
00:08:58.160 i don't call me what you want but i i don't buy it
00:09:01.520 well here's a guy who used to be on a wheaties box used to be you know the america's hero when it
00:09:10.080 came to athleticism and all of a sudden well you know in his 60s he wanted to be a woman okay well
00:09:15.120 good for you there bruce become caitlin and knock yourself out well but uh don't don't try to tell me
00:09:23.200 well that you're physically a female unless you physically go through the altercations and have 0.99
00:09:30.800 everything done breasts hips innards outwards everything you know and then leave your life 1.00
00:09:39.600 the way you want it but as i say folks you know don't try to tell me that the sun is as the moon
00:09:44.640 the moon is the sun it's just it's not going to work you know and
00:09:51.840 to promote confusion of children in that world too is i don't think it's fair
00:09:58.000 i don't think it's fair i think it's fair little kids and i don't think it's fair for educators
00:10:01.760 to enforce that and i don't think it's fair for some parents out there
00:10:07.040 to give their kids hormone blockers or to alter them because they want them to be something they're not 0.69
00:10:15.440 right whether you call it progression or not i just call it
00:10:19.040 insensitivity if little billy is playing with dolls
00:10:26.640 doing really that's that's no different than him playing with action figures or playing with tonka
00:10:31.040 toys or whatever you know that's what i did as a kid i was always outside playing with my little
00:10:35.360 gi joe figures and playing with tonka trucks and climbing trees and uh playing frontiersmen and
00:10:42.880 playing in the snow with my little sister and the toboggans and the crazy carpets you know now
00:10:49.840 you're you're seeing kids worrying about what gender they are or somebody's influencing their decision to
00:10:56.000 change gender i don't think a six-year-old girl or six-year-old boy has the capacity
00:11:02.640 just yet to say mom i want to be a girl or mom i want to be a boy
00:11:09.920 i i don't buy that i i don't um i think there's more to it than just that little narrative but uh
00:11:19.040 i would call it child abuse now i have homosexual friends that happen to have kids and 0.88
00:11:25.280 you know i highly doubt they would put their children through
00:11:27.760 any kind of transition like that unless their children felt genuinely felt in the core of their
00:11:35.440 soul or their well-being that they were something that they weren't
00:11:42.640 but in the same sense it's really not my business how people raise their kids
00:11:46.560 right so but that's just uh that's just my opinion and the fact um
00:11:52.720 i don't buy the identity politic issue it's like live your life do what you want to do
00:12:00.080 by all means and do it well you know as long as you're not hurting people taking their stuff
00:12:09.440 that should be you know simple in its own terms you know what i find which becomes quote unquote
00:12:17.520 problematic is when you keep adding rules to it okay if you're going to transition then you have
00:12:24.560 to march in this parade if you're going to transition you have to be this you have to feel this way have
00:12:28.720 to talk this way no i don't buy it speak your mind speak your truth do what you want to do
00:12:36.080 a good journey in your transition i'm sure there's people out there that will help you do it
00:12:41.120 help you cope if you're having a dilemma by all means you know i've had my demons and i still
00:12:46.320 have my demons and i'm still coping in my own way but i have had lots of help i've got a loving wife
00:12:53.040 and i got a living family back home that genuinely shows concern for my well-being and you know
00:13:04.960 maybe i'm lucky and maybe some people there they're not as fortunate but there are services that can give
00:13:10.880 you a hand with your transition or trying to figure out who you are but for those of us who never really
00:13:17.840 had that issue growing up all i can say is let's keep fighting the good fight and keep fighting the
00:13:25.360 truth keep trying to find the truth regardless you know we all go through a period in our lives where
00:13:32.800 revelations rear their ugly heads and we got to deal with them head on as i mentioned before i'm not
00:13:42.320 trying to condemn anybody or trying to change anybody or disavow anyone's existence i acknowledge you i know
00:13:49.520 you're there and by all means do what you got to do to survive whatever makes you happy do it
00:13:54.000 but don't be jumping on that parade where you know things just pop out of the air or things
00:14:02.240 just fall from the sky they don't you know if you're a young man having trouble there's people
00:14:07.200 out there that can help you if you're a young woman out there having trouble there are people out there
00:14:10.880 that can help you as long as you take the first step of helping yourself you would think it would be
00:14:16.960 gravy thereafter but however with the way the mainstream media likes to word things the way some
00:14:25.760 universities and educators like the word things it becomes a diarrhea sandwich
00:14:33.520 for lack of a better term so my hope out there is let's get rid of this identity politics uh bs
00:14:40.720 well enough is enough well it's it's starting to the questions people's sanity here well it's crazy
00:14:49.680 enough to go out make a living and to keep things afloat and keep your bills paid keep your head
00:14:57.040 checked keep your health checked let alone worrying about all these different sayings and different
00:15:03.360 words you can use and all these so-called list of multiple genders you're either a man you're
00:15:09.440 other woman you decide what identity you want to carry you the individual you decide science has 0.81
00:15:15.120 been in for how many centuries now you know since the evolution of our species since the evolution of
00:15:21.040 mammals on this planet and what gets me is there's people out there that will deny that whether it be
00:15:27.120 they be religious folk or so-called pseudoscience folk you know anyhow all i'm saying is live your life
00:15:34.960 do what you want to do be happy but you know don't hold up four fingers and tell me that there's 10
00:15:41.520 i'm not gonna buy it right
00:15:45.760 it's it's not 1984 and 1984 was a cool story but that's all it was and let's not make that
00:15:52.320 kind of thinking a reality i don't want that kind of crap in this democracy and i'm sure you don't either
00:15:57.760 too but live your life take the chance you know don't expect society to accommodate every step of your 0.96
00:16:04.400 journey i don't recall society helping my father out or my mother out you know they made the choice
00:16:10.720 to be good people they made the choice to to pursue what they pursued and it's not society's fault the way
00:16:18.240 things turned out you know they made decisions they made you know they made choices some choices were
00:16:26.000 good some choices were bad we're all guilty of that it doesn't matter where you're from
00:16:32.880 or what degree you have or what diploma you have or what family you're from or what country you're from
00:16:39.760 we have the opportunity here in the west to do what is right to do what you think is right
00:16:46.480 but this totalitarian identity bs has got to stop
00:16:52.400 to me people getting screwed over and getting hurt because of this pc correctness what to say when to
00:16:58.320 say it how to say it speak your mind you know it's not hate speech speak your mind
00:17:04.960 you know but i welcome comments uh if you're catching this please comment on my youtube page
00:17:10.640 under crusty canuck and uh my facebook page under crusty canuck let's get the conversation going um
00:17:18.800 what else can we do keep the open dialogue you know keep a sense of humor if you can
00:17:22.400 you know but as i said mentioned before ladies and gentlemen um you know don't hurt people take
00:17:28.160 their stuff just be cool be real be a good man be a good woman you know be yourself well
00:17:37.120 do what you can for others help each other out and uh just remember humanity and merit wins the day
00:17:43.120 uh i've been crusty canuck hope you enjoyed and uh i'll see you next time bye for now
