00:00:01.000 Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. It is a beautiful 23rd of April, 2022. Come up
00:00:06.000 with this episode of the Cresting Act podcast. Episode 170, a proposed truck tax and more
00:00:11.900 censorship on its way. Hold on to your ankles, kids. Here it comes.
00:00:20.120 Hit it, sweetheart.
00:00:22.340 Because I am hard, you will not like me.
00:00:25.040 Yes, sir.
00:00:26.040 There is no racial bigotry here.
00:00:33.520 There you are all in what we work with.
00:00:37.560 From Western Canada, this is the Krusty Canuck podcast, a Canadian veteran's point of view
00:00:44.300 on political, social, economic issues and life. Here's Krusty.
00:00:51.220 That's right, ladies and gentlemen, episode 170, truck tax and censorship.
00:00:54.760 Now, in the past couple of weeks, there have been some speculation in regards to a new
00:00:59.740 proposed truck tax, meaning that you as a consumer, whether you live in rural areas or an urban
00:01:05.240 area, and you rely on a pickup truck or an SUV to get you to and from work based on your business
00:01:10.780 and what you need, the Trudeau government and its infinite wisdom, of course, has always
00:01:14.360 proposed another fucking tax.
00:01:16.240 Oh, and by the way, if you like and hear what you see, please click like and subscribe, share
00:01:21.280 this all around your social media platforms, and don't be hesitant to send me a comment
00:01:26.180 or two once this video has been made public.
00:01:29.160 Anyway, carrying on again, episode 170.
00:01:31.640 I do swear a lot, so please, listener discretion is advised, just in case someone might get offended.
00:01:38.300 All right.
00:01:39.200 A proposed truck tax, ladies and gentlemen.
00:01:40.720 A proposed truck tax.
00:01:41.960 Now, I have some editorial here that I'll show later.
00:01:44.180 I'll put my description in the links below there, all that good stuff.
00:01:48.980 But let me start with the censorship issue now.
00:01:53.680 It's been an issue for the past couple of years.
00:01:56.160 It's been a real issue the past couple of years in regards to censorship.
00:01:59.020 Now, everybody's talking about Elon Musk acquiring Twitter, bringing more free speech to the platform
00:02:04.320 because we've all seen people come and go and complain about Twitter not being open enough
00:02:09.820 and being fair enough.
00:02:10.900 Yours truly is on Twitter, all that good stuff.
00:02:13.280 And I just post whatever I can on there, too.
00:02:16.860 I have had no problem with censorship per se, but I know it's there.
00:02:21.420 I've seen it from individuals.
00:02:23.020 I've heard it from other individuals.
00:02:24.240 And we're getting to a point in our society where, okay, I'll be blunt.
00:02:29.500 We've got too many wimps calling the shots in regards to what you can see, what you can
00:02:34.680 say, what you can read, what you can do, and how you can gesture things, you know, because
00:02:40.280 there's already somebody out there screaming about safety, safety, safety, safety, online
00:02:46.100 harm, online content.
00:02:48.680 Oh, my God.
00:02:51.020 Grow up.
00:02:52.440 Okay.
00:02:53.840 Now, every time I talk about this, I get like a little chuckle in me for some reason,
00:03:02.600 because I've said this before in the show, too, ladies and gentlemen, I've had people
00:03:07.980 in my life say some rotten things to me personally.
00:03:10.800 I've witnessed people say rotten things to my family members.
00:03:14.060 I've witnessed rotten things said to coworkers, fellow soldiers, fellow veterans, you name it.
00:03:21.060 Okay.
00:03:22.260 And we put up with it.
00:03:25.220 Okay.
00:03:26.380 See, in the military, when you hit basic training, and then you get into your occupational
00:03:30.620 training, you're going to have instructors that are not so nice, not so nice and caring
00:03:35.300 and sensitive.
00:03:35.900 That just goes with the job.
00:03:37.600 Okay.
00:03:38.640 Now, there are certain things that they stopped doing.
00:03:40.800 They stopped hitting people many moons ago.
00:03:42.740 I had instructors that personally pulled me aside and told me their stories when they were
00:03:46.300 being trained and how they were slapped upside the head and hit in the gut.
00:03:49.520 That was then, right?
00:03:51.600 And they learned how to do their job.
00:03:53.580 And I'm not saying you deserve to hit people every time, you know, they disagree with you
00:03:57.520 or they're not learning the work that you're presenting to them.
00:04:00.700 Okay.
00:04:01.060 But there's a certain element of professionalism that we all have to overcome and endure.
00:04:07.940 And with the military, we were taught how to deal with stressful situations by adding
00:04:13.880 said pressures and adding said dilemmas.
00:04:17.220 Right.
00:04:17.920 And in a way it does toughen you up.
00:04:19.540 It does.
00:04:20.300 It makes you a stronger adult, makes you a better adult, makes you a better man or woman,
00:04:23.940 or however you identify, not that it really effing matters to me, but the thing being
00:04:28.420 it's supposed to help you.
00:04:31.080 Now with this censorship proposal, okay, I will leave, I'll put a video up here by Anthony
00:04:37.240 Fury, a freelance writer, and he does a lot of work with Toronto Sun and he done some work
00:04:42.380 with True North there too.
00:04:44.060 And he pretty well sums it up about censorship.
00:04:48.220 And I will leave the link in the description for you all to follow there too.
00:04:51.380 So, but please listen carefully to what he has to say in regards to what Twitter's going
00:04:57.940 through, what we're going through, and note they're going to try to hire an online hate
00:05:03.600 assessor or basically someone to oversee what is deemed as online hate and online danger.
00:05:11.900 You know, but I'll cue this up here for you and we'll get this show started.
00:05:16.020 So please, ladies and gentlemen, please, please pay attention to this story.
00:05:19.020 ...of criticism for their attempts to regulate and censor the internet.
00:05:23.860 And what's interesting this time around is some of the groups involved in the criticism
00:05:27.840 include TikTok and Twitter.
00:05:30.420 So let me tell you what's going on here.
00:05:32.480 Now the liberals have been engaged in what I describe as a multi-pronged approach to do
00:05:36.420 internet regulation and censorship.
00:05:38.500 They've got a couple different pieces of legislation or proposed legislation going on.
00:05:43.240 And one of them pertains to online harms.
00:05:45.700 That's the phrase they use to cover all these bad things, harmful things going on online,
00:05:50.240 like hate speech and misinformation, things that we all agree, okay, we don't...
00:05:55.880 Know how he says about hate speech.
00:05:58.420 That's still a broad term, ladies and gentlemen, okay?
00:06:01.480 I hate taxes.
00:06:02.840 I hate inflation.
00:06:04.360 I hate it when it's super cold outside.
00:06:06.280 Would that be deemed as hate speech?
00:06:08.000 Anyway, more to follow.
00:06:09.040 ...support that stuff.
00:06:10.060 But how do you define it?
00:06:11.920 How do you regulate, censor it?
00:06:13.540 And should the government, should a partisan government be in charge of defining those
00:06:17.820 terms and be in charge of actually figuring out how to do that regulation?
00:06:23.080 Well, they got a lot of responses to this, and most of them were negative.
00:06:27.400 Now, Michael Geist, he's an academic.
00:06:29.240 He's a law professor at the University of Ottawa, and he specializes in things regarding
00:06:33.740 internet policy.
00:06:34.880 And he looked at a report that the Heritage Department actually put out talking about the
00:06:40.140 responses they received in their consultation process, so encouraging all different individuals
00:06:45.000 and organizations, companies to send in their thoughts about these online harms proposed
00:06:50.760 legislation.
00:06:51.980 Now, Michael Geist felt like what they had in the report was clearly not all of the responses
00:06:56.140 they got in the consultation, and he had to file an ATIP request, an access to information
00:07:00.660 request to actually get the full responses from different organizations.
00:07:05.200 And he found, wow, the stuff that he actually got, the documents that were released, told
00:07:10.920 a very interesting story and showed much more robust criticism than the liberals had acknowledged
00:07:16.380 in their report, which was supposed to disclose what the responses were.
00:07:20.960 Now, a lot of individuals are very concerned about these attempts to regulate the internet,
00:07:25.800 but it's also interesting to see that some social media giants have problems with it.
00:07:29.920 Get a load of what Twitter had to say about this.
00:07:33.180 They said that the proposal by the government of Canada to allow the digital safety...
00:07:37.780 Now, look at that carefully, ladies and gentlemen, okay?
00:07:40.700 Proposal by the government of Canada to allow the digital safety commissioner to block websites.
00:07:46.760 A digital safety commissioner.
00:07:50.760 Hmm.
00:07:51.660 Sounds very totalitarian, right?
00:07:53.920 Hello, I'm the digital safety commissioner, and I will deem this podcast as too dangerous
00:07:59.140 for your liking and listening pleasure, jawohl!
00:08:01.780 ...to block websites is drastic.
00:08:08.280 People around the world have been blocked from accessing Twitter and other services in
00:08:12.080 a similar manner as the one proposed by Canada by authoritarian governments.
00:08:16.580 In brackets, they say China, North Korea, and Iran, for example.
00:08:20.280 This is done, they say, under the false guise of online safety, impending people's rights
00:08:26.040 to access information online.
00:08:28.280 Wow.
00:08:29.000 Now, I know a lot of people accuse Twitter of engaging in censorship and not being that
00:08:33.440 embracing of free speech.
00:08:34.780 I know Elon Musk and his supporters would say that.
00:08:37.220 So if you've got Twitter telling the liberal government that what they're doing is basically
00:08:42.680 impeding free speech and is similar to what's going on in China, that's a clear sign that
00:08:47.620 you've got a problem on your hands.
00:08:49.480 And by the way, that thing Twitter said, it didn't make the report.
00:08:52.900 Like I said, Michael Geist had to file the ATIP request to find it.
00:08:56.520 They wanted to bury that response from Twitter.
00:08:59.700 That is quite something.
00:09:01.040 TikTok, they responded by saying, look, in the first quarter of 2021, we found that when
00:09:07.060 it came to content that violated our community guidelines, well, they accounted for less than
00:09:11.560 one percent of all of our videos and that 91.3 percent of those videos, they were removed
00:09:18.700 and identified.
00:09:19.820 They were identified and removed even before a user could report them.
00:09:23.040 So they're basically saying, look, to the degree there's a problem, we got a handle on
00:09:27.480 it.
00:09:27.880 We find this stuff and we delete it before it becomes a problem.
00:09:31.460 Basically suggesting why do we need the Trudeau government to come in and determine what needs
00:09:36.840 to be deleted, what the criteria is and when it should happen?
00:09:40.060 Good questions indeed.
00:09:41.820 Why do we need the government to be crafting any of these internet regulation and censorship
00:09:46.700 laws?
00:09:47.540 I don't think we do.
00:09:54.700 And a special thank you to Anthony Fury from the Toronto Sun for putting that little post
00:09:59.240 together from yesterday.
00:10:00.400 Yeah, that's the thing.
00:10:01.440 When you look at censorship, okay, I can understand when it comes to utmost violence and I can
00:10:06.560 understand stopping someone from speaking racism or blatant sexism.
00:10:12.520 I can understand that.
00:10:13.480 Okay.
00:10:15.080 But I'm a firm believer in free speech, period.
00:10:18.380 But you as a consumer, you as the individual, doesn't matter if you're reading, writing, watching
00:10:22.720 television, going to a movie, listening to music or online in this beautiful world we call
00:10:27.560 the internet, you decide as an individual, you as the individual decide, not the government,
00:10:33.980 not your mom and dad.
00:10:35.280 Well, your mom and dad, if you're under the age of 18, I would say, but that's how people
00:10:39.840 run their households.
00:10:40.680 That's up to people.
00:10:42.500 Well, that's not up to the government to decide, right?
00:10:45.580 Something to think about, folks, you know, hold on to your ankles.
00:10:49.060 Here it comes.

00:11:04.660 And that's the thing there too, ladies and gentlemen.
00:11:06.480 I remember we talked about censorship back in high school many moons ago and what was
00:11:10.920 deemed offensive and deemed inappropriate and I'll just age myself here.
00:11:15.940 I did a project back with a friend of mine.
00:11:18.460 We talked about censorship in music and in public shows and at the time the Barenaked
00:11:23.960 Ladies came on the scene, you know, you know, you could be my Yoko Ono and, and they did
00:11:30.140 Lovers in a Dangerous Time, their version of it, the Bruce Coburn tune from the 80s.
00:11:34.000 And there was a big stink about their name.
00:11:36.860 Okay.
00:11:37.260 And I think the mayor of Toronto at that time, she was kind of upset because she didn't like
00:11:42.680 the name Barenaked Ladies, right?
00:11:45.220 And my friend and I at the time, we were more or less compelled to do a project in our media
00:11:51.840 arts classes in regards to censorship.
00:11:54.820 And we came to the conclusion at that time when we were about, you know, 17 or 18 years of
00:11:59.940 age, that you decide, you the individual, you decide which is deemed safe or unsafe for
00:12:06.580 your viewing, for your listening, for your viewing, for your reading, whatever.
00:12:10.520 Okay.
00:12:10.960 There's many publications out there.
00:12:12.640 There's many books.
00:12:13.820 There's many movies, many CDs, many songs you can download, many movies you can download
00:12:18.700 and watch, any streaming service you decide to do.
00:12:21.960 Why is it the government's place to step in?
00:12:25.360 Here's my speculation.
00:12:26.700 It's all about control.
00:12:28.960 Okay.
00:12:30.360 We've all seen how the liberal brand in this country has tarnished, how has it turned from
00:12:35.220 being liberal into something more totalitarian and the money and the amount of effort they're
00:12:39.840 going to spend into getting people to walk their line, to talk their talk and walk their
00:12:45.820 walk.
00:12:46.720 All in the name of safety.
00:12:48.480 Now, I don't know about you, but that sounds very totalitarian, borderline communist as far
00:12:52.300 as I'm concerned, ladies and gentlemen.
00:12:53.380 These are the same people that are giving the Florida governor a hard time over the don't
00:12:58.480 say gay bill.
00:12:59.520 When you actually read the bill and it doesn't say anything about gay, it says not teach kids
00:13:05.040 about sexuality until they're old enough.
00:13:07.040 That's where I gather of it, right?
00:13:10.580 And all these people jump in the gun about fairness and equality, fairness and equality.
00:13:14.580 You as the individual, you have to make your own equity.
00:13:17.080 I believe in equality of opportunity.
00:13:20.720 It doesn't matter what gender you are, how you identify, what color your skin is.
00:13:24.540 The opportunity is there for all Canadians and my American listeners, all Americans, my
00:13:29.360 British listeners, all my British friends.
00:13:31.180 Anyone living in a working democracy has the opportunity to get out there and do something
00:13:39.540 worth their while and has nothing to do with gender or hat or flag or nationality or the
00:13:46.600 color of your skin.
00:13:47.360 Let's stop letting these individuals hunt ghosts and start demanding some reality here, okay?
00:13:55.020 I highly suggest my listeners out there fight these censorship bills, regardless of where
00:13:58.420 they're coming from.
00:13:59.220 It doesn't matter if they're in the States or in Canada or in Britain.
00:14:02.460 To my Canadian listeners and fan base, come on.
00:14:06.580 You know, we can do better than this.
00:14:08.300 Don't tolerate it, okay?
00:14:10.200 And if you have individuals that are in Parliament fighting against this, then give them a call
00:14:14.980 and tell them how to stand firm and give them your support, okay?
00:14:20.060 Now, what's funny, though, is I'm not hearing a lot from the opposition.
00:14:24.520 There's tidbits and stuff there, and I'll leave links in my description for you all to follow
00:14:28.020 and listen at your own leisure, but we're not seeing enough backlash against this, okay?
00:14:35.780 Now, a lot of it's being proposed.
00:14:37.240 It's still in the works, but time will tell.
00:14:40.200 Who knows?
00:14:41.560 But it doesn't look very promising.
00:14:43.520 Stay updated and follow Krusty Canuck on Facebook, Twitter, Gap, Telegram, YouTube, and Podbean.

00:14:58.100 The government does not need more control over what you see and what you read, okay?
00:15:05.260 You've heard my spiel about the federal budget where money's being spent here and there,
00:15:09.000 not helping people.
00:15:09.720 Which will bring me to the truck tax part of this program, ladies and gentlemen.
00:15:13.840 So while they're pondering about more censorship and online safety, because, you know, there
00:15:19.320 was a girl in the States that apparently got PTSD.
00:15:22.720 What's her name?
00:15:23.820 I don't know.
00:15:24.860 At the top of my head.
00:15:26.260 I just found it relevant because yours truly suffers from PTSD.
00:15:29.820 And I didn't get it from reading bad words online.
00:15:33.000 I got it from experiences.
00:15:36.760 Things that happened over a period of time.
00:15:39.580 Things that accumulate and fester inside of you.
00:15:42.600 I didn't get it from reading bad comments about my podcast or some hate mail, right?
00:15:47.880 But you're seeing where we're going with this.
00:15:50.840 So-called responsible individuals, whether in the mainstream media, whether in the mainstream
00:15:54.860 politics, trying to dictate terms for you and me.
00:15:58.340 Time to fight it.
00:15:59.340 Time to stand against it.
00:16:00.280 We don't need this bullshit.
00:16:01.660 Do you need this bullshit?
00:16:03.660 Right?
00:16:04.880 Anyway, enough of that.
00:16:05.820 I'm digressing.
00:16:06.460 On with the whole truck tax there, too, ladies and gentlemen.
00:16:10.820 There is an editorial here from another prominent Sun columnist.
00:16:19.440 Brian Lilly, I believe.
00:16:20.700 I'll just cue it up here.
00:16:22.300 But you see where I'm getting with this here.
00:16:26.920 It's coming in droves.
00:16:28.300 It's coming in little sections.
00:16:30.060 You know, every time we turn around, there's another issue that we have to face with this
00:16:34.660 government.
00:16:34.920 Now, this is just a proposition.
00:16:37.660 This is proposed by the government.
00:16:39.720 This is from Post Media News, Toronto Sun, there.
00:16:43.320 From the 13th of April.
00:16:45.520 Okay.
00:16:46.400 So I'll just post the article up here for you all to enjoy, if you'd like to.
00:16:51.400 Right?
00:16:51.780 And I'll leave more links and everything in the descriptions for you, too, to follow along
00:16:56.760 and reach your own leisure as well.
00:16:58.520 But this is getting ridiculous on how many things are coming and going as we speak.
00:17:05.880 Okay.
00:17:06.320 And I'll just read along here with this for you as all, too.
00:17:10.100 Right.
00:17:11.680 Yes.
00:17:13.580 Here we are.
00:17:14.720 Editorial.
00:17:15.220 Just say no to Trudeau's truck tax.
00:17:18.240 Okay.
00:17:18.760 So a new federal tax from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
00:17:21.500 Say it ain't so.
00:17:22.780 Note the sarcasm there, too.
00:17:24.760 Sadly, it's true.
00:17:25.700 And this one is really going to hit a lot of hardworking Canadians in their wallets.
00:17:28.880 After increasing the carbon tax, which happened again this past 1st April, right, and keeping
00:17:35.560 their plans to introduce a second carbon tax, the clean fuel standard, in the months ahead,
00:17:40.240 the Liberals are now talking about a sneaky new tax on trucks.
00:17:43.380 It's a sneaky tax because it's already in place for large SUVs.
00:17:45.800 But a report from Industry and Environment recommends expanding it to cover some of the most popular
00:17:50.560 trucks in Canada, such as the Ford F-150s and Dodge Rams.
00:17:54.680 The financial implications are massive.
00:17:57.160 As Chris Sims from the Canadian Taxpayers Federation recently explained, the tax bill would
00:18:01.860 range from $1,000 for light-duty pickups to $4,000 for super-dirty trucks, that tow-horse
00:18:08.380 trailers and construction equipment, not to mention trailers for livestock and other things
00:18:13.120 as we speak.
00:18:14.320 Sims continues, the current tax hits SUVs that use more than 13 litres of fuel per 100 kilometres.
00:18:21.180 For example, the GMC Yukon Denali and the Lincoln Navigator are currently subject to the
00:18:25.560 tax.
00:18:25.980 Ottawa hits the Nissan Armada with a $3,000 tax bill.
00:18:29.800 The purpose of this tax, it's the favour of pursuit of Trudeau's Liberals, to reach
00:18:33.900 our emissions reduction targets.
00:18:36.020 The report explains there is no level of economic pain that is considered too much by the Liberals
00:18:40.680 as long as it's done in the name of climate zealotry.
00:18:43.700 Climate zealotry.
00:18:45.280 Let's talk about who is targeted by this massive tax.
00:18:48.660 As Lord Gunter recently explained, when writing on the issue, Albertans make up about 11% of
00:18:53.620 Canada's population, yet we, by nearly one-third of the pickup trucks sold in the country.
00:18:59.800 So, one-third of those trucks that are sold in this country come from, you know, are bought
00:19:04.700 by Albertans.
00:19:06.460 Would the Liberals have brought in this tax if it targeted the urban laptop elites?
00:19:10.900 I like that term, urban laptop elites, you know.
00:19:13.460 They go up there with champagne socialists.
00:19:16.440 Yeah, I know.
00:19:17.960 It's also just, I can't speak English today.
00:19:20.860 Disproportionately, he targets people who work in the construction and the trades and
00:19:26.940 anyone who has to drive in difficult terrain.
00:19:29.800 Some people buy trucks because they dislike them, but many people buy the trucks because
00:19:33.820 they're functional.
00:19:34.620 This tax is doubly unfair for the latter.
00:19:37.200 Enough already.
00:19:37.840 Taxes are already going up.
00:19:39.040 Inflation is causing more headaches.
00:19:41.060 Just say no to the truck tax.
00:19:43.620 And rightfully so, ladies and gentlemen.
00:19:45.360 Say no to the tax.
00:19:46.900 Okay.
00:19:47.880 It's a penalty.
00:19:49.080 We've seen how these carbon taxes are working.
00:19:51.340 We've seen what they're trying to promote.
00:19:53.380 Okay.
00:19:54.540 We're not seeing any kind of progress or longevity here.
00:19:58.340 We're not seeing it.
00:20:00.340 Okay.
00:20:01.520 Powers of B are elected to look after the finances.
00:20:04.120 They've done a terrible job.
00:20:05.540 They keep printing the money, printing the money, printing the money.
00:20:08.440 Add inflation.
00:20:09.520 Oh, according to myth, Freeland, it's a worldwide phenomenon.
00:20:13.000 It's not a worldwide phenomenon.
00:20:14.740 You get inflation when you constantly print money, when you've got no products coming
00:20:19.160 in or products going out, and you're just making money out of the seat of your pants.
00:20:23.100 And you expect people like you and me to pay for it.
00:20:26.320 It's that simple.
00:20:27.680 Now, where I live in Alberta, I drive a truck.
00:20:30.780 Okay.
00:20:31.700 Are they going to find a way to tax me on that because it's a used vehicle?
00:20:35.400 Right.
00:20:36.020 An up and coming person that works in the oil patch or in agriculture.
00:20:39.560 They need a pickup truck to move their livestock or move some tools or move some equipment.
00:20:45.640 You got to penalize that individual another thousand bucks or fifteen hundred bucks or
00:20:50.580 two thousand or four thousand because of the brand name.
00:20:54.440 Right.
00:20:55.120 If that's a logic, then you might as well tax everybody and what they purchase.
00:20:59.080 Do you like Labatt's or do you like Molson's?
00:21:02.360 Do you like this brand of cigarette or do you like this brand of cigar?
00:21:06.140 Tax and tax and tax.
00:21:07.420 It's all the cash grab.
00:21:09.560 Enough of this crap already.
00:21:12.260 Okay.
00:21:14.480 Really.
00:21:16.620 I'm surprised there's not too many people challenging these ridiculous things.
00:21:21.260 Now, Minister Stephen Gilbert, Mr. Environment Minister, Mr. I climbed the CN Tower to stop
00:21:27.440 the slaughter of certain animals because I'm just a real activist.
00:21:31.300 Now, he denies the allegations.
00:21:33.380 Okay.
00:21:33.900 But the same group of people, the same conglomerate, the same little leadership hub.
00:21:39.520 Okay.
00:21:40.360 To all the Freelands, to all the Trudeaus, all the Gilberters.
00:21:43.220 Okay.
00:21:43.540 All these butts, you know, Gerald Buttson's denying all these things about the Wii scandal.
00:21:50.700 Okay.
00:21:51.400 Oh, no, we're not going to take any money and give it to the Wii charity.
00:21:54.520 Oh, no, we're not doing that.
00:21:56.540 That was proved to be a lie.
00:21:57.620 The SNC-Lavalin contracts and favoritism, little slaps and tickles here and there.
00:22:02.320 Oh, this never happened.
00:22:03.940 It did.
00:22:05.660 These are also the people that tried to tell us that they're not going to mandate vaccinations
00:22:10.180 six, eight months ago.
00:22:13.160 Yet it was on Justin Trudeau's campaign promises, how the un-vaxxed are going to be treated.
00:22:18.020 And he proved that numerous times.
00:22:20.720 He proved it.
00:22:21.620 He said so on Quebec television, how the un-vaxxed were misogynists and denying the science and
00:22:26.920 they're probably racist and they're just terrible people.
00:22:29.980 These are the same people that want to take more money and create it of nothing.
00:22:34.420 They want to create more money and add more inflation and then won't.
00:22:38.660 Right.
00:22:39.320 I'll leave a link to what Candace Malcolm from True North put up there a few days back where
00:22:45.860 she talks to the people from the Taxpayers Federation in regards to this truck tax.
00:22:49.140 And it doesn't look promising, ladies and gentlemen.
00:22:52.840 It doesn't.
00:22:55.200 I don't know what else to say about it.
00:22:56.660 It's a con.
00:22:57.700 It's a sham.
00:22:58.520 How else do we deal with this garbage?
00:23:00.780 Okay.
00:23:01.280 Not pay it?
00:23:02.440 Can we tell retailers, okay, don't charge me tax on it?
00:23:06.300 Okay.
00:23:08.540 Do they also think taxing people in prosperity is going to be an effective tool to save the
00:23:13.920 environment?
00:23:14.920 It's not.
00:23:15.660 It's a cash grab.
00:23:16.540 They've made mistakes with spending money.
00:23:19.360 They've given it away.
00:23:20.640 And now you and I are footing the bill.
00:23:22.440 That's how it is.
00:23:24.640 And I hate to say it.
00:23:26.260 That's just the way it's going to be until another election, which is not going to happen.

00:23:45.540 And that's just the bitter reality we all have to swallow.
00:23:53.400 But I'm tired of that.
00:23:56.900 I'm tired of it because I have seen how things have gone up in my household.
00:24:02.300 I have seen things where I'm paying more for less.
00:24:07.680 What say you?
00:24:09.320 Right?
00:24:09.580 And once again, ladies and gentlemen, if you like and hear what you see, please click

00:24:47.440 my wonderful listeners and viewers alike.
00:24:49.600 So and I'm very, very grateful.
00:24:51.240 And I've seen some increase in my subscribers on YouTube as well.
00:24:54.820 So thank you once again to everybody who has subscribed and commented on my show.
00:25:00.220 I really appreciate it.
00:25:01.620 You guys are awesome.
00:25:02.940 And we're carrying on again with more truck tax and censorship.
00:25:05.960 And it's just going to prove that the powers that be are afraid of things.
00:25:12.500 You want everything safe and comfy.
00:25:15.080 And they forget that comfort is not a right.
00:25:21.000 Intellectual comfort's not a right.
00:25:23.520 We're all going to hear things we don't want to hear.
00:25:27.680 Oh, so-and-so lost a job.
00:25:29.480 Oh, and so-and-so lost a friend.
00:25:31.400 Oh, so-and-so lost this.
00:25:32.700 So-and-so got fired.
00:25:34.340 So-and-so got hit by a car.
00:25:36.980 We all hear things every day that we don't want to hear.
00:25:41.000 But we do.
00:25:43.820 Who are these guys to sit there and tell you what to watch, what to see, what to read?
00:25:50.960 Okay?
00:25:51.660 History has proven that.
00:25:52.880 It doesn't matter if the Nazis are burning books.
00:25:54.540 It didn't matter if the Bible Belt down in the South of the United States in the 1960s.
00:25:58.460 We're burning albums or burning books, too.
00:26:01.180 It's wrong.
00:26:02.120 We know it's wrong.
00:26:03.380 You as the consumer.
00:26:04.340 You as the taxpayer.
00:26:05.220 You as the voter.
00:26:06.180 It doesn't matter if you're American.
00:26:07.380 It doesn't matter if you're British.
00:26:08.180 It doesn't matter if you're German, French, Swahili.
00:26:10.640 It doesn't matter.
00:26:11.640 You as the individual have that choice.
00:26:13.920 But the simple choices we take for granted, we're going to have to keep fighting for day
00:26:21.580 in and day out because of these people, because of their propositions, because of, you know,
00:26:26.680 we need online content of safety seekers and overseers.
00:26:31.760 No, we don't need any more fucking overseers.
00:26:33.640 We don't need any more parental units giving us more of the nanny state to encourage us to
00:26:39.800 enjoy whatever projected utopia is.
00:26:43.920 OK, what's utopian for some may be dystopic for others.
00:26:48.880 What's perfect for you may be imperfect for me.
00:26:51.720 That's the dynamic of what we are.
00:26:54.540 We don't need to validate ourselves when it comes to that.
00:26:57.520 What we need to do is to more or less stand up to these fucking mongrels and say, fuck you.
00:27:04.100 Enough of your bullshit.
00:27:06.720 Can we do it nonviolently?
00:27:08.880 Yeah.
00:27:10.280 Look at the trucker's convoy.
00:27:11.780 But then look at the impunity that our dear leaders did.
00:27:18.940 Look at the impunity, how they reacted.
00:27:23.140 OK.
00:27:24.100 So you want to increase more taxes and stop spending.
00:27:28.160 Open up the gates.
00:27:29.020 Let our oil flow.
00:27:31.080 Let our resources flow.
00:27:33.620 Stop worrying about gender parity.
00:27:35.320 Stop worrying about equity.
00:27:37.680 Start worrying about who wants to do the work and who doesn't.
00:27:40.680 And what it's going to take to get it fucking done.
00:27:44.920 Right?
00:27:46.000 That's simple.
00:27:46.920 But no.
00:27:47.360 Whether you think Trudeau is a puppet for somebody else.
00:27:51.400 Like the infamous Klaus Schwab.
00:27:53.020 You will all nothing and be happy.
00:27:54.260 Jawohl.
00:27:54.740 That's right.
00:27:56.300 Does he not live up to the old Bond villain adage?
00:27:58.840 Nothing missing is a little scar in his eye or something like that.
00:28:01.520 And him petting some kind of kitty cat or little pet alligator.
00:28:04.680 Jawohl.
00:28:05.200 This is what we do.
00:28:06.240 And you will like it.
00:28:07.100 I tell you.
00:28:11.440 Something ain't in.
00:28:13.280 Something's not right.
00:28:14.280 But we all know this.
00:28:15.340 You've heard me ramble on numerous times, ladies and gentlemen.
00:28:20.480 How something ain't right.
00:28:22.160 But we can fix it.
00:28:24.500 Like I said in my last episode, too.
00:28:26.140 When it comes to filing your taxes, maybe think about it.
00:28:28.860 Is it worth it?
00:28:31.020 Right?
00:28:31.740 We've heard the old adage, too.
00:28:33.020 Well, you don't file your taxes.
00:28:33.960 Then you deny the opportunity to somebody to go to a hospital or someone to drive on a highway or this bridge won't get built.
00:28:41.320 It's your patriotic duty.
00:28:43.820 I did my patriotic duty.
00:28:46.500 This is a toy, by the way.
00:28:49.120 I did my patriotic duty.
00:28:50.840 I carried a gun for my country.
00:28:54.780 Did it for 20 years.
00:28:56.960 Got hurt in the job.
00:29:00.260 Met some cool people.
00:29:01.500 Worked for some cool people.
00:29:02.560 Worked for some great people.
00:29:04.020 Men and women alike.
00:29:06.080 Some of those individuals aren't here with us today because they stood on guard for thee.
00:29:10.760 How were they treated?
00:29:12.560 How were other veterans treated in this country?
00:29:14.480 How are the seniors being treated in this country?
00:29:16.380 With these new tax proposals, they're also looking at trying to gouge more pensions, too.
00:29:21.600 When I was doing my political campaign back in September 2021, I talked to a lot of seniors.
00:29:26.720 They'll get their little check and the readout says, here's $1,200 a month.
00:29:34.040 Half of that's taxed.
00:29:35.480 So they worked 40 plus years contributing to a pension and you only get half of it.
00:29:43.140 And now the government wants to propose another tax on the pension.
00:29:46.060 On my pension, I pay about $650 in tax.
00:29:51.220 That's from 20 years of service where I got hurt in the job.
00:29:55.380 I was medically released.
00:29:56.380 And then for my regular job, another $500 a pay comes off in taxes, too.
00:30:06.800 So roughly, ladies and gentlemen, I'm paying $1,600 or more a month in taxes to make sure that the bridges are up and the roads are working and the hospitals are good to go.
00:30:16.240 Well, isn't that fantastic progress?
00:30:21.060 And yet our federal government wants to tax more people that work in urban areas and that work on farms and factories alike that need their trucks because those trucks not only become a luxury, they become a tool, too, to haul freight, livestock, equipment, what have you.
00:30:37.740 And there's a lot of people that I know that work in areas where you need a big-ass truck to get through it because the roads are shit.
00:30:43.400 But you'd think with all these taxes, those roads would be fixed, right?
00:30:47.260 Ooh, what a whammy.
00:30:50.000 What a bunch of bullshit.
00:30:51.900 Stay updated and follow Krusty Canuck on Facebook, Twitter, Gap, Telegram, YouTube, and Podbean.
00:30:59.640 Subscribe today and donate at KrustyCanuck.ca.
00:31:06.660 Anyway, carry on again with episode 170, truck tax and more censorship.
00:31:10.460 I'm your host, Krusty Canuck.
00:31:11.480 And if you do like and hear what you see, please click, like, and subscribe and all that good stuff.
00:31:15.620 Share this all around your social media platforms as well, ladies and gentlemen.
00:31:18.900 And we carry on again with my rant and rave over this garbage, this garbage leadership and more propositions to stick it up our chuffs, ladies and gentlemen.
00:31:29.920 Pardon the visual there, but I believe in free speech and speaking your mind regardless of what platform you're on, right?
00:31:36.540 Now, the more I've read into this C-11, that's the bill they're actually proposing when it comes to censorship, too.
00:31:44.240 They're talking about predicting Canadian content.
00:31:46.520 Now, I'm Canadian.
00:31:48.220 Is my content Canadian enough?
00:31:50.580 Or am I just too angry?
00:31:51.900 Are the digital assessors going to sit and look at my work and say, hmm, this guy's scary.
00:31:58.480 We shouldn't let him broadcast anywhere.
00:32:01.420 Oh, my goodness.
00:32:04.660 Keep on trucking, ladies and gentlemen.
00:32:06.180 That's all I got to say about that.
00:32:07.840 Keep on trucking.
00:32:09.220 Keep on doing your thing.
00:32:10.420 Keep on doing what you think is right for you and yours, what you think of yourself personally, for your loved ones, for your kids, for your parents, for your aunts and uncles, for everybody.
00:32:19.860 Okay.
00:32:22.260 Don't tolerate it.
00:32:24.860 Right?
00:32:26.040 Other than getting a pitchfork and a torch, I don't know what else to say.
00:32:32.320 The more I read about these clowns making these gestures, making these propositions, and it's just a theory, the more and more our theories keep coming true.
00:32:42.140 Like I said earlier in the show, right?
00:32:44.480 The federal government says, oh, we're not going to mandate anything when it comes to vaccines.
00:32:47.240 Yet they did.
00:32:48.800 Look what happened when they started making more mandates.
00:32:50.720 They had a trucker convoy from hell come and knocking on their door.
00:32:54.440 But there was no violence.
00:32:55.760 There's no issues other than fear.
00:32:58.660 Right?
00:32:59.820 The last budget proved it was be fearful because they're going to spend another $56.2 billion.
00:33:05.340 On what?
00:33:06.080 Even the headline news today.
00:33:09.600 They're going to be sending four howitzers over to Ukraine to help defeat the Russian onslaught.
00:33:17.580 Four guns.
00:33:18.700 Four guns that our country needs.
00:33:21.360 Right?
00:33:21.460 So it seems every time we turn around, we're seeing the constant buffoonery.
00:33:27.380 Right?
00:33:28.520 The constant buffoonery and the tomfuckery that's being presented to us.
00:33:34.280 Right?
00:33:34.760 We're the laughingstock of the world because of our leadership, ladies and gentlemen.
00:33:37.800 Not because of people like you and me.
00:33:40.060 Right?
00:33:40.460 But because of our leadership.
00:33:43.520 So that's starting to reflect too.
00:33:47.240 That's starting to reflect big time.
00:33:50.020 And we can do better.
00:33:51.080 I know we can do better.
00:33:51.840 We can try to fix it.
00:33:53.600 We can try to, you know, petition our MPs, our representatives, our MLAs alike.
00:33:59.060 But a lot of Canadians are getting taxed to death.
00:34:02.200 Canadians are getting sick of it.
00:34:03.540 People want to get ahead.
00:34:04.420 People want to go further.
00:34:06.520 Right?
00:34:06.880 But like I mentioned earlier about Klopp Schwab, is this being sized up for the 2030 agenda?
00:34:11.240 Right?
00:34:11.700 They're so worried about the environment.
00:34:13.120 Oh my God, the world's going to die in 10 years.
00:34:15.180 No, it's fucking not.
00:34:17.840 Right?
00:34:18.280 You're not going to change the weather by gouging me or you or your neighbor or your loved ones
00:34:23.100 or the guy down the road or the girl up there or the guy up here.
00:34:27.220 It's bullshit.
00:34:27.920 It's bullshit.
00:34:29.060 We know it's bullshit.
00:34:31.140 I like clean rivers.
00:34:32.440 I like clean parks.
00:34:35.120 I like clean air.
00:34:36.240 That's fine.
00:34:37.280 But in order to get ahead, sometimes we're going to make a mess.
00:34:39.960 But we have means in this country to keep things clean and keep things sane and keep everybody
00:34:44.040 happy.
00:34:45.500 But the powers that govern this place don't see it that way.
00:34:50.940 Right?
00:34:51.520 They have their own plans, their own agendas.
00:34:54.400 Like I always say too, it was always up to us to find the light.
00:34:57.440 And this manufactured darkness, ladies and gentlemen.
00:35:01.820 Now, this tax is proposed.
00:35:05.080 We don't know if it's going to go through yet or not.
00:35:07.360 They say it's just hearsay or it's not true.
00:35:09.860 It's misinformation.
00:35:10.500 But we heard the same thing last year when it came to the vaccination mandates too.
00:35:16.420 So hang on tight.
00:35:18.640 Anyway, I've been Krusty Canuck on this beautiful 23rd of April, 2022.
00:35:23.480 Whether it's nice outside, I'm going to do some yard work and get rid of the snow.
00:35:28.560 What's left of it anyway.
00:35:30.020 Carry on my usual way.
00:35:31.680 My day's off.
00:35:32.900 And then we'll have another episode on Tuesday coming up.
00:35:35.920 So the next few days, pay attention to your update pages and all that stuff too.
00:35:39.480 In regards to when I'll post another episode of the show.
00:35:42.920 But we will try to get through this as best as we can, ladies and gentlemen.
00:35:50.720 We'll try our best to find light at this manufactured darkness.
00:35:56.760 So pay attention.
00:35:57.840 Probably the 26th.
00:35:59.600 The next few days, I'll have an episode up.
00:36:02.080 And do what we can to help each other out in these trying times as always.
00:36:04.640 Please take a look at my shop if you can too.
00:36:06.460 I've got some Krusty Canuck gear for you as all to purchase if you'd like to.
00:36:09.840 And if you would like to donate, please consider donating.
00:36:13.180 Links will be in the description to donate at your leisure too.
00:36:16.360 Like I said, I'm working on a Locals page, Locals.com.
00:36:18.720 Dave Rubin's brainchild that he created a couple of years back.
00:36:22.860 That way I'll have some behind the scenes footage for you.
00:36:27.600 My viewers and listeners like to check out if you want to at your leisure.
00:36:31.180 But I'll leave updates when I can.
00:36:32.840 You can check out my updates on YouTube page and my Facebook page as well.
00:36:36.480 Just look for Krusty Canuck and the logo you see in the top of your screen there.
00:36:39.960 And you'll get updates and information as they come, ladies and gentlemen.
00:36:43.880 Like I say, once again, I know I keep repeating myself.
00:36:46.560 This has been the 23rd of April 2022.
00:36:51.220 I wish nothing but good things for you as all.
00:36:54.660 I try to be a little more positive, a little more passionate,
00:36:56.660 and try to be a little more understanding.
00:36:58.300 But we've got the buffoonery calling the shots for us.
00:37:01.500 So-called elected officials with their know-it-all skills
00:37:03.620 who could not flip a pancake if you showed them how to.
00:37:06.460 So, that's simple.
00:37:08.740 Anyways, gentlemen, please stay tuned for updates.
00:37:12.400 And do what you can to help each other in these trying times.
00:37:15.320 And remember, humanity and merit wins the day.
00:37:19.600 Take care, and I'll see you this Tuesday.
00:37:21.220 Bye for now.
00:37:25.720 Hit it, sweetheart.
00:37:27.820 Because I am hard, you will not like me.
00:37:30.500 Yes, sir.
00:37:31.300 There is no racial bigotry here.
00:37:38.680 There you are all, it's what we want.
00:37:43.020 This has been another episode of the Krusty Canuck Podcast.
00:37:46.860 Stay sane.
00:37:47.780 And thank you for listening.
00:37:49.260 From Western Canada, this is the Krusty Canuck Podcast.
00:37:52.680 Kunk my ass and call me Judy.
00:37:58.140 Kunk my ass and call me Judy.
