00:00:05.980 christian podcast episode 364 remember kids budgets balance themselves that's right some
00:00:13.540 outcry some outrage over the predicted budgets that these new guys want to promote in the name
00:00:19.380 of canadian democracy it's really interesting some of the facts they've come up with basically
00:00:23.480 it's all about borrowing ladies and gentlemen listener view discretion is advised because i
00:00:27.740 will swear smoke cigarettes and do all these wonderful things you know like i usually do stick

00:01:03.060 economic issues and life here's crusty
00:01:06.820 that's right ladies and gentlemen welcome to the show episode 364 of christian podcast
00:01:12.900 remember kids budgets balance themselves hi everybody i'm your host crusty canuck and uh this
00:01:19.380 podcast is also brought to you in part by and supported by veterans freedom network that's
00:01:23.500 right stand to veterans for freedom and coming soon veterans for freedom tv stand to hi everybody i'm
00:01:30.120 hope you've all had a wonderful uh weekend i know i did because i was working anyhow that's you know
00:01:35.820 that's the breaks that's all part of the working class spectrum right and if you like and hear what
00:01:41.320 you see click like subscribe share this podcast all you will search me platforms do not be shy ladies
00:01:45.840 and gentlemen uh just take the time give me a thumbs up give me a like all this good stuff
00:01:49.680 and just tell me what you think you know anyhow as the title card said you know federal parties have
00:01:56.320 their budgets now what they propose to do once elected of course carney says if he's pm he'll do
00:02:01.500 this and probably i will say he'll do that and of course the eggmate shing in his infant wisdom
00:02:05.540 wants more taxes just like the liberals hey isn't that a bitch okay but still it's a shoot show it's a
00:02:14.060 poop show ladies and gentlemen i got a video here from chris sims uh canadian taxpayers federation the
00:02:19.700 alberta uh ceo there or the honcho for the uh taxpayers federation and she breaks it down basically
00:02:25.460 on how it's not going to look if the carney government gets in too and uh
00:02:30.620 that's what gets me because there's there's people that i know in my life personally that
00:02:37.020 would love carney to be prime minister because you know he's he's better than justin because he's
00:02:42.720 smarter than justin uh but i'll get to the point here shortly but uh mr carney wants to borrow more
00:02:48.340 money borrow more money ain't that a kicker like didn't that get us in trouble in the first place
00:02:57.640 since 2015 only little deficits here little deficits there why do we have deficits to begin
00:03:02.740 with why do you need to borrow more money to spend spend spend you would think that you borrow money
00:03:08.100 to buy things like a home like a mortgage or a car something that's going to help your livelihood
00:03:13.200 help your lifestyle out okay but then you turn around and borrow all this money to help canadians
00:03:18.400 or the less fortunate around the globe and you start spending and spending and borrowing and
00:03:23.880 borrowing more and for what during the pandan what did they do they kept printing money printing
00:03:28.060 money printing money to give people a chance to stay at home without having to go to work
00:03:32.200 from being infected but how did that work out okay because a lot of bureaucrats a lot of politicians
00:03:37.860 a lot of administrators end up getting some lovely fucking pay raises because of that
00:03:42.700 monstrosity okay so when you look at the budgets uh these these parties try to promote here
00:03:48.820 i got a little title card here from an interesting uh group of people and i'll break some of it down
00:03:54.200 here uh the fine people at tech bomb c a okay and i'll queue this up shortly here it basically uh
00:04:02.180 just goes through what they're going to spend just a lump sum kind of thing so this is by a ron
00:04:07.000 scorsese from tech bomb so i'll include this in my description ladies and gentlemen you guys can read
00:04:12.000 along at your own leisure find more articles and decide for yourself here too i just find that every
00:04:17.240 time they propose these budgets it's and it's going to screw up the taxpayer that's what it is
00:04:21.680 okay it's nothing more nothing less okay it's the way it's always been okay and considering the
00:04:28.420 lackluster policies when it comes to our defense to our security uh to real environmental concerns
00:04:34.380 okay they they squander it they squander it so i'll just queue this up here ladies and gentlemen and i
00:04:39.460 will go through it uh side by side uh side by each you know just every little every little thing
00:04:46.500 that this thing has to offer us and just the morsels of information as we speak right basically
00:04:54.020 it's all bullshit you know i'm not going to sit here and uh and uh butter up a poop sandwich for
00:04:58.100 you you know make you guys suck eggs but it's just i don't know every time i see new platforms new
00:05:03.940 platforms it doesn't matter which party it is it doesn't you know i could care less which party it is
00:05:09.060 it's just brownie points that's all it is brownie points so once again this is from the lovely
00:05:14.020 people at tech bomb and i will read this along with you here too so 2025 canadian election federal
00:05:19.260 party platforms what each party is promising oh the word promises promise me heaven daddy yes of course
00:05:26.140 with canada's 2020 federal election on the horizon each major political party has unveiled its vision
00:05:32.780 for the country's future the platforms outline starkly different approaches on spending taxes climate
00:05:37.720 policy and social programs below we break down the major promises from the liberal conservative new
00:05:43.240 democratic black quebecois green people's party platforms and analyze which voters these promises
00:05:48.860 are likely to appeal to each section ends with a look at the age and income groups that stand to
00:05:54.500 benefit most from the party's plans okay so here it is kind of thing is just you know spread out
00:06:00.320 simple keep it simple you know i mean so liberal party wants to spend in the next four years 130
00:06:06.260 billion dollars from where where's it going to come from the magic money machine of course
00:06:11.340 transfer payments for oil that they don't want to you know sell around the world basically it's the
00:06:16.960 taxpayers ladies and gentlemen the projected deficit impact plus 225 billion by 2029 wow and that that's
00:06:26.560 that's just great isn't it you know and people are buying this shit you know key revenue measures
00:06:31.120 the standard taxation which will probably go up of course economic growth
00:06:34.880 how do you grow an economy when you're allowed to build anything or promote anything you know
00:06:42.740 that's the liberal plan of course you know what do you expect from
00:06:45.500 from guys who want to work for other people instead of their own people right here's the conservative
00:06:50.780 plan 100 billion offset uh by 125 billion in savings so there's a little more frugality there
00:06:58.500 deficit reduced 70 over four years that seems logical now big reduction would be nice 125 billion
00:07:05.760 in savings from cuts to consultants bureaucracy foreign aid so there's an idea there cutting from
00:07:12.460 the top how many times have i said that on the show ladies and gentlemen cut from the top not from
00:07:16.920 the bottom you want to keep the foundation solid right and of course how many bureaucrats do we have
00:07:23.000 here didn't just hire something like 40 000 uh bureaucrats and administrators and public
00:07:27.200 employees alike there you go okay now here's the ndp for you okay 94.5 billion in new revenue
00:07:36.360 from who from who isn't that interesting eh it will come from us ladies and gentlemen it will not come
00:07:45.720 from uh the 40 billionaires that live in canada no it will come from us okay plus 48 billion dollars
00:07:53.700 added to the deficit so where are they going to spend it on oh you know i'm not saying the ndp will
00:07:59.280 ever become uh the federal leadership of this country but uh where are they going to spend 48 billion
00:08:05.280 dollars on interesting social programs parlay shows all these wonderful things yes everybody wants this
00:08:13.040 right so the projected deficit impact 48 billion over four years so more debt so the key revenue measures
00:08:21.600 what they're proposing wealth tax closing loopholes consultant cuts so a little bit of stealing from
00:08:27.420 the conservative element are there jag meat of course the greens i don't listen to the greens half the
00:08:32.140 time anyway because half of them are just bloody socialists right okay get this they're proposing a new
00:08:37.420 spending that's hypothetically 237 billion dollars in transition tax revenue or correction
00:08:44.340 transaction tax revenue partial costing what the fuck is that unclear revenue heavy spending partially
00:08:52.220 costed blah blah blah well jesus transaction tax corporate and wealth taxes so the more money you
00:08:59.080 make the more you get taxed right oh that's just such a great plan that makes everybody just so happy i
00:09:04.660 could just shit wow of course they block not costed not disclosed more transfers for quebec no federal
00:09:11.720 revenue plan right so more money from alberta to la black quebecois when they don't want the oil
00:09:18.000 pipeline interesting ppc i don't really get max bernier anymore but not costed balanced budget within
00:09:24.780 four years the claim spending cuts and foreign aid eliminate cbc funding all right so that's basically
00:09:32.140 the meat and potatoes okay and i will leave this article in the description for you as all ladies and
00:09:38.580 gentlemen to decide amongst yourselves right
00:09:41.500 pardon me a little dusty in here but i'll leave this article in here uh you for you wonderful people
00:09:53.260 to read amongst yourselves and decide to any federal government that promotes the simple fact of
00:09:59.720 let's keep spending money that we don't have let's keep borrowing borrowing spending spending spending
00:10:05.140 borrow borrow borrow spend spend spend and everything would just be honky dory right and like always they
00:10:11.540 forget uh
00:10:35.140 okay sorry about that little blurb ladies and gentlemen you know had some issues here with my connection
00:11:01.280 something something got cut there for momentary so sorry to black out there uh just you know
00:11:09.120 spending spending cuts cuts cuts and more taxes you know budgets don't balance themselves they screw you
00:11:15.260 and me stay updated and follow crusty canuck on facebook twitter gab telegram youtube and podbean

00:11:31.280 and you're back ladies and gentlemen episode 364 of the cresting up podcast that's right you know i
00:11:36.780 remember kids you know well budgets balance themselves you know it's a joke no budgets don't balance
00:11:42.000 themselves right so i just gave you the platform on what the major parties are producing what they
00:11:48.860 promote okay and i have to say the conservative budget seems to be a little more logical don't you
00:11:54.360 think right a little more factual that doesn't mean everyone should just rush out and vote for that guy
00:12:01.300 or this guy it's just a little more pragmatic to get us out of the crap that we're in that's what it is
00:12:07.100 it's got nothing to do with who's better looking or who replaced justin trudeau it's what's going to
00:12:12.220 work for canadians what is going to work here right because every can that keeps working has to keep
00:12:18.700 trying to get ahead and keeps losing money losing credit losing opportunities to get ahead in this
00:12:27.280 country and the leadership in this nation is is not not working for the people it's not not working
00:12:34.080 for the people whatsoever it's not going to benefit you not going to benefit me if mr carney gets in
00:12:39.120 if pauliev gets in there's going to be cutbacks yeah so some programs might have to be cut
00:12:44.620 but i like his idea when you're cutting from the top that's what we should do right you know in
00:12:50.360 order to save the milk you got to cut the cream right how many times have we said that right anyway
00:12:55.260 here's chris sims uh with the canadian taxpayers federation and she's got a breakdown too on the
00:13:01.500 whole whole issue especially with uh blarney carney and his budget there too so ladies and gentlemen
00:13:06.800 listen at your leisure and i'll leave this link in my description as well for you all to listen to
00:13:11.620 right and uh it's really interesting what she has to say about the whole thing
00:13:16.440 right now leave the captions on too for you to read along right turn this volume up and then we'll be
00:13:23.120 good to go so just uh once again ladies and be like here to see click like subscribe share this
00:13:28.800 podcast all your social media platforms and don't be shy parties have released their platforms let's take
00:13:35.160 a quick look at prime minister mark carney and his liberal teams platform first so holy cow they're
00:13:43.200 planning on racking up more debt than they were under prime minister justin trudeau i know i was
00:13:51.180 surprised too i thought the banker was supposed to be better with money than the drama teacher but i guess
00:13:57.800 not so take a look at mark carney's election platform they're planning on racking up more debt
00:14:05.280 than former prime minister justin trudeau was going to do so that is a huge issue there second take a look
00:14:12.940 at their platform and see the term border adjustment what's that that's a tariff that is a brand new
00:14:21.820 carbon tariff that mark carney wants to impose on items coming into canada here's the thing okay this
00:14:30.180 is different than mark carney's industrial carbon tax folks this is separate mark carney thinks carbon
00:14:37.600 taxes are so important so vital that when he looks around the world and he finds a country that does not
00:14:44.400 have a carbon tax that is up to his standards that upsets him that upsets mark carney so much that he is
00:14:51.440 now going to impose a tariff on items coming from a country that doesn't have a carbon tax that he
00:14:57.700 likes so that means it's going to cost you more to buy stuff here in canada for those items and now we
00:15:04.960 have a price tag estimate it's right there in his platform so for journalists watching this look at
00:15:11.060 the term border adjustment that's just government talk for a tariff they're estimating that is going to
00:15:17.820 cost canadians around 500 million dollars yeah that is a very big deal because canadians are broke
00:15:27.300 50 of canadians are within 200 bucks every month of not being able to make the minimum payments on all
00:15:34.340 their bills they cannot afford tax hikes they certainly can't afford brand new carbon tax tariffs
00:15:41.040 on stuff that they need to buy here in canada so that was a huge red flag in that liberal party
00:15:45.980 platform second is what was absent from it we still don't know how much mark carney's industrial
00:15:53.700 carbon tax is going to cost no idea because of course he has said repeatedly he's not going to
00:16:00.080 axe the tax no he finds the notion of axing the carbon tax to be laughable he's going to change the
00:16:07.500 carbon tax so that it is hidden in an industrial carbon tax but here's the thing when mark carney jacks up
00:16:14.880 a carbon tax on things like fuel refineries the cost of gasoline and diesel is going to go right
00:16:22.200 back up at the pump okay that is a big deal when mark carney imposes an industrial carbon tax on
00:16:29.100 fertilizer plants that's going to increase the cost for farmers which is going to increase the cost of
00:16:36.100 food here in canada so that is the liberal party platform big red flags there let's shift now to take a
00:16:43.300 look at the conservative party platform generally some very good news in there i think i saw the
00:16:48.580 headline in the globe and mail saying that it's around 70 billion dollars worth of tax relief that's
00:16:55.040 great but that's a really big number when you break that down for instance pierre polyev is promising
00:17:00.920 with his income tax cut to save the average family up to 1800 per year so 1800 per year in savings
00:17:11.620 it's right there in this platform that's really good news polyev is also promising to eliminate all
00:17:17.720 carbon taxes so yes axing the consumer tax for real and for good and eliminating the industrial carbon tax
00:17:25.160 that hidden one i was telling you about so that is huge tax relief very happy to see that because
00:17:31.780 people are really fighting to afford the basics right now so any relief is awesome also wanted to flag
00:17:37.960 something cool here pierre polyev is proposing to have a taxpayer protection act as an albertan we love
00:17:44.920 our taxpayer protection act in alberta because that law is shielding us from being nailed with a sales tax it is also
00:17:52.600 shielding us from tax hikes folks in alberta would need to vote in a referendum before tax hikes would be allowed in
00:17:59.960 be allowed in our province so that is a huge cost savings as well we would like to see the conservatives
00:18:06.380 get to a balanced budget we don't see a path to a balanced budget in this conservative platform
00:18:12.720 however we are seeing a dramatic reduction in spending which is great and we're seeing big tax cuts
00:18:19.740 big tax savings for average canadians so folks go check out both parties platforms they're out now
00:18:29.960 yeah that seems a little more logical right a little more savings here savings there
00:18:41.420 you know the platform does look good right but we'll see we'll see come the 28th because
00:18:46.500 the election's a week away folks in six days okay but this time next week we'll have a brand new
00:18:52.560 prime minister or the old barney carney so you know we've got to be a little more sensible here
00:19:01.040 there too what gets me is that there's people out there that hang on to carney's words hang on to
00:19:06.200 his chaos more time i apologize there for the technical blurb i had uh the signal was getting
00:19:11.660 kind of screwy here but i think you know what i mean folks when it comes to what's going to benefit
00:19:18.340 canadians going into debt is not always a good thing right if there's an emergency or something
00:19:25.960 happens or something happens to your house okay fine you do that right but taking all the money and
00:19:34.840 to spend internally again or debt is going to help us right so if you're thinking about mr carney
00:19:44.200 and his platform and his plan no i'm going to tell you not to i'm going to tell you not to think
00:19:50.260 about that because who in their right mind would follow someone who is willing to put a country
00:19:55.260 into debt again and add more right they say in the military but seeing is believing you got to see
00:20:01.920 the boots on the ground you got to see the tanks on the ground you got to see training going on
00:20:05.100 you believe that what i would really fund the military we got to see a vast improvement in our
00:20:10.040 security protocols too right seeing is believing we got to see the personnel
00:20:14.000 that are guarding the ports searching the crates searching the sea containers searching everything
00:20:19.320 making sure no legal activity is going on seeing is believing so you could talk to great games spend
00:20:25.200 all this money on what's going to show for it i got friends of mine in the states that they talked
00:20:30.080 about me back and they've actually asked me they said why is canada still weak when it comes to
00:20:35.500 spending and it comes down to the simple fact that politicians really don't care okay
00:20:43.460 now i've talked to politicians who have said well my constituents never made a big deal about that
00:20:48.440 my constituents never said anything about this and yet some of these politicians have said oh our
00:20:54.240 constituents want higher taxes or our constituents need higher taxes so it's bullshit it was never
00:21:00.980 never an issue because that canadian which i've done before so it's bad okay there was a reliance on the
00:21:08.200 united states the united states is a great ally they've always been a great ally they've had
00:21:12.460 the logistics they've had the manpower yet done okay historically during the world if it wasn't for
00:21:18.520 american logistics who knows who europe would be who knows where the allies are back and forth
00:21:24.880 right ideas exchanges ideas exchanges good fucking allies now what they're promoting now
00:21:32.460 is they drawing a line in the notional sand for what for whom right well my american friends are
00:21:41.580 listening right now it's a matter of creating arrogance they didn't care they were reliant on
00:21:47.040 big brother too reliant on this to happen and now they're getting caught with their pants down now
00:21:51.980 they're not they're paying attention to that but when they sit there and say we're looking at the
00:21:55.740 main offense or going to upgrade this up like that you don't buy it right it's going to take some real
00:22:02.980 action and some real determination to get it done right and you know i want to give you everything
00:22:08.800 to you when it comes to voting next monday on the 48th really think what's going to benefit this
00:22:16.300 country in the long run because what i just read to you about the liberal proposal is just more debt
00:22:20.860 that means our lives are going to be more expensive what ms sims said right she's just
00:22:26.700 proven it so who's going to be the better politician now who's going to be a better leader leader right
00:22:31.860 now i'm to think about stay updated and follow crusty canuck on facebook twitter gab telegram youtube

00:22:46.180 and you're back ladies and gentlemen episode 364 remember kids budgets balance themselves hi
00:22:55.100 everybody i'm the most crusty canuck once again my apologies i had those technical blurbs i had
00:22:59.320 early in the episode something with my internet signal just kind of cutting out so i could be
00:23:03.460 a positive of a panic because i don't have time to re-record this episode what you see is what you
00:23:07.480 get my apologies folks anyhow i was actually watching a bit of the news there today just after i got
00:23:13.720 home from working at dinner with my wife we were discussing the whole budgetary issues especially
00:23:21.200 jagmeet's thing and i just i have a chuckle because his only platform is he doesn't like the rich
00:23:28.480 and he's rich himself and uh he drives medicine program medical program you know allied with just
00:23:37.240 drill you know the prophylactics and the diabetic medication so he's trying to pat himself on the
00:23:41.920 back for a half-assed effort for basic bells and whistles and uh his big concern is taxing the rich
00:23:49.080 okay um but the rich do pay their fair shares of taxes believe it or not right and people like
00:23:57.360 myself my wife family and friends we're just trying to get ahead so mr sting and anyone who supports
00:24:03.580 that kind of mentality um our tax dollars are far too expensive as it is because when i look at my
00:24:10.740 pay stub i see a good third of my money gone after working a 50-hour week or you know working 60 hours
00:24:17.680 a good third of my money gone or cp and income tax i've even volunteered extra money for income tax in
00:24:26.600 case they want to reassess me again like you always do and the funny thing about that is
