00:00:00.000 Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. It is a beautiful 20th of July 2021. Coming up in this episode of the Crusty Connect podcast, episode 143, the lurking agenda of government censorship, protecting us from reality or protecting their feelings, plus other honorable mentions from some stupid, stupid Canadians out there. All that and more coming up with the show. Please stick around and listener and viewer discretion is advised. Stay tuned.
00:00:30.000 Get it, sweetheart.
00:00:33.380 Because I am hard, you will not like me.
00:00:36.340 Yes, sir.
00:00:39.780 There is no racial bigotry here.
00:00:44.640 There you are always going to work.
00:00:48.660 From Western Canada, this is the Crusty Connect podcast, a Canadian veteran's point of view on political, social, economic issues and life.
00:00:59.300 Here it's Crusty.
00:01:09.140 Mama always said I had a face for radio.
00:01:13.400 That's right, ladies and gentlemen, the Crusty Connect podcast, episode 143, the lurking agendas.
00:01:19.000 Yes, our federal government once again is pondering more censorship issues.
00:01:23.660 Based on some articles I will read to you directly from Spencer Fernando and the Western Standard online, there are still lots of people out there that would like to make censorship a factual thing in this country.
00:01:35.620 Yes, you know, from Stephen Gobert, Mr. Heritage Minister, to other members of the said party, to Dustin Trudeau and to an RCMP official.
00:01:43.880 Interesting enough.
00:01:44.660 Now, after all the crap that has been going on in recent months in this country in regards to finding some truth and reconciliation to residential schooling and to finding people that are getting censored by big tech and other companies.
00:01:58.940 And our friends in the States, i.e. Joe Biden, and of course, his press secretary, Ms. Saki, talking about how big tech should take more responsibility and harnessing the problematic effects of people posting stuff online.
00:02:13.280 Okay. Before I carry on, ladies and gentlemen, if you'd like and hear what you see, by all means, click, click, click, like, and subscribe and all that good stuff.
00:02:21.840 And click your notification bell there on the tube.
00:02:24.380 That's if you're not shadow banned already.
00:02:26.240 So that way you get updated on new content coming at you from the Crusty Connect podcast.
00:02:29.920 Anyway, carrying on, we've got more information in regards to censorship.
00:02:35.660 And I'll read a little article that came from Spencer Fernando, a Canadian independent journalist, quite brilliant.
00:02:40.640 I've seen his interviews a few times, and I'll leave a link in the description for you guys to follow along there.
00:02:46.180 But this clown here, queue up my page here again.
00:02:52.240 Pardon my delay, folks.
00:02:53.540 This clown here, Mr. Stephen Gilboa, Heritage Minister of Canada.
00:02:59.160 And based on an article from Spencer Fernando, which he wrote there on the 17th,
00:03:04.500 Title is, With a Plan to Regulate Lawful but Offensive Tweets, Liberals Continue Moving Closer to Communist-Style State Censorship.
00:03:15.020 Yeah, fun times, eh?
00:03:17.540 He's quoted,
00:03:18.500 A truth doesn't mind being questioned.
00:03:20.720 A lie doesn't like being challenged.
00:03:23.380 The above quote can be applied to many things, but particularly to how governments treat speech.
00:03:28.540 In a truly free and democratic country, governments seek to defend freedom of speech
00:03:33.960 because they know that free speech makes societies more creative, more innovative,
00:03:38.340 and makes it easier for citizens to hold the government to account.
00:03:41.760 And truly great leaders want to be accountable and want to empower the people
00:03:45.260 rather than simply having power over them.
00:03:48.740 By contrast, authoritarian states, whether communist or fascist, seek to destroy freedom of speech.
00:03:54.280 They build their power on lies and deception and thus fear the public
00:03:58.060 because the public would turn against them if they knew the truth.
00:04:02.740 Interesting how that's going on, folks.
00:04:05.680 Interesting how that's going on today as we speak.
00:04:08.260 When it comes to inoculations, when it comes to vaccines, to businesses, to people protesting,
00:04:12.800 freedom rallies, all that good stuff,
00:04:14.820 and how a lot of the authorities have cracked the old notion of whip of fines, fees, regulations,
00:04:21.020 and jail time for some.
00:04:22.080 As a result, communist and fascist states suppress speech using the power of government
00:04:27.540 to narrow the bounds of allowed speech.
00:04:30.660 Allowed speech, mind you.
00:04:32.440 Yeah, allowed.
00:04:33.420 Can't say that here.
00:04:34.620 That's too offensive.
00:04:35.980 Oh, goodness.
00:04:37.660 Using legislation to make it more and more speech criminal
00:04:40.180 and attempting to create a climate of fear that keeps people from speaking their minds.
00:04:44.960 Okay?
00:04:45.300 Basically, the more a government has to hide
00:04:48.400 and the more content they have for the public, the more they seek to suppress freedom of speech.
00:04:53.100 Go figure.
00:04:53.760 Look what's going on with C10, C36.
00:04:56.500 Now, a lot of this, you can very well say, started with M103,
00:04:59.140 the motion to stop Islamophobia, right?
00:05:02.520 Because, you know, the word phobia is basically a fear of something, an unreasonable fear.
00:05:07.680 We know this.
00:05:08.140 I don't have an unreasonable fear towards Islam.
00:05:10.480 I don't have an unreasonable fear towards Christianity.
00:05:13.400 Neither should you.
00:05:14.040 I don't think any sane person that works in this country, that lives in this country,
00:05:18.840 that does their share of whatever, okay, has no real unreasonable fear towards a religion.
00:05:25.820 Any religion for that matter.
00:05:27.360 But I'll carry on.
00:05:28.580 Pravda.
00:05:29.180 The magazine Pravda.
00:05:30.660 Okay?
00:05:31.000 In the Soviet Union, they called their main propaganda newspaper Pravda,
00:05:34.020 which meant truth, quote-unquote.
00:05:36.920 There was a joke told by the Soviet citizens about Pravda and the other state newspaper,
00:05:42.800 Ivestia.
00:05:43.700 In Pravda, truth, there are no news.
00:05:46.060 There is no news, right?
00:05:48.000 In Ivestia, news, there is no truth, said Pravda.
00:05:51.340 So back and forth, right?
00:05:52.460 Like a bad tennis match.
00:05:53.900 People in the Soviet Union knew they were being lied to,
00:05:56.220 and the government knew that the people knew they were lying to them.
00:05:59.160 But it did matter, because one of the first things the Bolsheviks did
00:06:02.080 upon seizing powers to eliminate all potential media opposition.
00:06:06.480 Hmm.
00:06:07.860 Right?
00:06:09.880 And established a propaganda monopoly.
00:06:13.420 So why do you think JT and his cronies gave $600 million to certain media conglomerates,
00:06:19.520 i.e. CBC, Toronto Star, certain radio groups, certain broadcast groups,
00:06:24.940 you know, the list goes on.
00:06:26.680 Okay?
00:06:26.900 Of course, the fascists in Germany did the same thing,
00:06:29.300 as did the fascists in Italy at the time, right?
00:06:31.760 The first big move of authoritarian states after seizing power is to create
00:06:35.500 a unified and unchallenged propaganda machine,
00:06:38.720 and that means either the outright physical destruction of any opposition media
00:06:42.000 or laws that heavily restrict potential opposition.
00:06:46.180 Okay?
00:06:46.440 Now, last time I checked in our Constitution,
00:06:48.580 freedom of expression was fundamental,
00:06:50.640 and that includes freedom of speech.
00:06:52.240 That includes expression, how we express ourselves.
00:06:55.920 Okay?
00:06:56.200 And this approach remains a staple of communist regimes to this day,
00:07:00.160 as we see in places like Cuba, and particularly China,
00:07:03.760 where the communists have established a propaganda surveillance machine
00:07:06.540 that is ripped right from the pages of George Orwell's 1984 dystopia.
00:07:11.940 Quote-unquote, lawful but harmful.
00:07:14.140 And this brings us to a recent report by Black Locks,
00:07:17.160 and Black Locks is an independent media conglomerate.
00:07:19.920 You've got to pay for stories, but they've got some pretty good stories there.
00:07:22.660 So I highly suggest if you get a chance, ladies and gentlemen,
00:07:25.080 look into Black Locks Reporter.
00:07:26.580 Fantastic work.
00:07:28.800 And it brings us to attention by Black Locks Reporter
00:07:31.040 and how the Liberals plan to try and control tweets that are lawful but harmful.
00:07:36.760 Oh, don't say bad words.
00:07:38.520 And this is a quote that came from the Canadian Heritage Minister himself from Twitter.
00:07:43.860 Okay?
00:07:44.120 Brace yourself.
00:07:45.300 Twitter posts are undermining Canada's democracy,
00:07:49.740 says Department of Canadian Heritage.
00:07:51.640 Briefing note says regulation of a lawful but hurtful comments
00:07:55.220 is needed for a, quote-unquote, a truly democratic debate.
00:08:00.540 Okay?
00:08:01.260 Now, that came from Stephen Gobert's office.
00:08:06.380 Okay?
00:08:06.860 How is something you post on Twitter via your cell phone,
00:08:10.880 just a little blurp, undermining democracy?
00:08:15.500 Honestly, ask yourself that question, ladies and gentlemen.
00:08:18.900 Ask yourself that question.
00:08:20.960 How are what you're going to type and say on any format
00:08:23.560 is going to undermine the value of democracy?
00:08:28.340 Well, it's true they say.
00:08:29.160 Crack don't smoke itself.

00:08:42.240 Anyway, carrying on again with the lurking agenda.
00:08:49.620 Yes, the story goes on.
00:08:50.840 The story notes that lawful but offensive Twitter posts are undermining Canada's democracy.
00:08:55.240 Heritage Minister Stephen Gilbell's department says in a briefing note,
00:08:59.760 regulation of hurtful comments is needed for a truly democratic debate.
00:09:03.360 So, we have to regulate what you say in order to make a debate more legitimate.
00:09:07.460 Is that the logic?
00:09:09.900 Okay?
00:09:10.240 We have to monitor what you say to make something a little more democratic.
00:09:14.360 What the hell is that?
00:09:16.260 Okay.
00:09:18.380 Well, it may sound innocuous.
00:09:20.680 Lawful but offensive and lawful but hurtful is a very disturbing distinction for the government to be making.
00:09:26.400 The entire point of having law is that represents a clear demarcation line.
00:09:32.320 Okay?
00:09:33.480 That's the thing.
00:09:34.380 In instances of direct threats to someone's life or advocating for violence or terrorism,
00:09:38.840 that kind of speech is against the law and the government takes action.
00:09:41.920 Well, rightfully so.
00:09:42.820 If you threaten to kill somebody or you want to harm a certain group of people
00:09:46.460 or a group that belongs to a certain ideology,
00:09:49.700 yes, I can see where warning bells might go off.
00:09:53.400 Okay?
00:09:55.020 But in all other instances where laws are not being broken,
00:09:57.860 that kind of speech is not at all in the realm of what government should be concerned with.
00:10:02.300 Exactly.
00:10:03.640 Okay?
00:10:04.040 Why does the federal government need to know what I'm saying,
00:10:06.360 what you're saying,
00:10:07.100 what you believe in,
00:10:07.960 what you do,
00:10:09.040 where you pee,
00:10:09.880 where you wipe your bottom,
00:10:11.240 who you sleep with?
00:10:12.280 It's nobody's fucking concern.
00:10:14.360 Okay?
00:10:14.680 Pardon my F-bomb there.
00:10:16.280 Okay?
00:10:18.720 In a free society,
00:10:19.900 government has zero interest in any speech that is lawful.
00:10:23.400 Lawful speech is up to the individuals to support or oppose in however the way they choose.
00:10:27.760 And government is supposed to stay completely out of it.
00:10:30.240 Exactly.
00:10:31.160 So when we see a government that plans to regulate lawful but hurtful speech,
00:10:36.660 you can be certain that they are attacking the idea of free expression itself.
00:10:42.460 Okay?
00:10:43.240 Dangerously subjective it is.
00:10:44.980 A threat against someone's life or advocating for violence and terrorism are objective things.
00:10:49.760 Okay?
00:10:50.320 You can clearly read words that make it obvious someone is planning to do to you or someone else
00:10:56.160 and actually physically harm them.
00:10:57.820 Okay?
00:10:58.280 The law is already well equipped to deal with such threats and such threats are already illegal.
00:11:03.160 We know this.
00:11:03.880 That's the thing.
00:11:04.720 By contrast,
00:11:05.360 the idea of hurtful or offensive is deeply subjective.
00:11:08.440 Exactly.
00:11:09.840 Exactly.
00:11:10.620 How many people have actually weighed in and sent me some nasty emails saying they were offended
00:11:14.240 by what I said about certain trans individuals, i.e. Jonathan Yaniv.
00:11:18.720 I find that man offensive.
00:11:20.380 And yes, he is a biological male regardless of how you dress him up or not.
00:11:23.980 Okay?
00:11:24.580 And I've had a few people who happen to be trans weigh in and say I'm nothing but a dirty old white man.
00:11:31.420 That comment was offensive.
00:11:33.040 But am I going to cry in my oatmeal because of that?
00:11:35.100 Oh, no.
00:11:36.000 They call me a dirty white old man.
00:11:37.720 Oh, yeah.
00:11:38.900 Whatever.
00:11:39.400 Fuck.
00:11:40.840 No.
00:11:42.280 And that's the thing.
00:11:42.960 Something may seem hurtful to you while being hilarious to me and vice versa.
00:11:46.760 I just made that point.
00:11:48.260 Right?
00:11:48.620 The entire idea of free speech and free expression is that the individual Canadians are supposed to decide
00:11:54.340 what we like and what we don't like.
00:11:56.180 We can consume more content we like and less we dislike, all based on our own choices.
00:12:01.700 That is freedom, folks.
00:12:03.900 Straight and narrow.
00:12:05.100 That is democracy.
00:12:06.080 That is a democratic debate right there.
00:12:08.400 You, the viewer.
00:12:09.240 You, the consumer.
00:12:10.560 Okay?
00:12:10.820 You, the purchaser.
00:12:11.800 You, the buyee.
00:12:12.660 You, the seller.
00:12:13.380 You, the employer.
00:12:14.540 Employee.
00:12:15.060 The worker.
00:12:16.000 The doctor.
00:12:16.620 The nurse.
00:12:17.040 The lawyer.
00:12:17.520 The professional mud wrestler.
00:12:18.820 I don't care.
00:12:19.920 You have that choice.
00:12:22.100 Okay?
00:12:22.280 For the liberal government to now be declaring that free exchange of ideas undermines, undermines democratic debate
00:12:29.100 is a communist-style doublethink argument that presages an attack on free expression,
00:12:34.720 an attack already underway with the liberals having pushed Bill C-10 and Bill C-36.
00:12:40.560 Okay?
00:12:40.980 Basically, it's communist-style censorship.
00:12:43.760 Things have reached the point where they really have to start calling this what it is.
00:12:47.200 And let's call it what it is, folks.
00:12:48.980 Basic censorship.
00:12:50.900 Dictatorship.
00:12:52.560 How else do we dress it up?
00:12:54.720 Honestly.
00:12:56.360 Neocommunism.
00:12:57.040 Whatever.
00:12:57.740 Okay?
00:12:58.220 Rather than defending the Western democratic values of free speech and free expression,
00:13:01.540 the liberals are pushing a communist-style censorship agenda that would destroy one of Canada's strengths,
00:13:06.380 the free exchange of ideas.
00:13:07.900 And every democracy, regardless of how you dress it up.
00:13:10.860 And I'll begin to a story there later in the show about some RCMP corporal that says we don't have freedom of speech,
00:13:17.320 but I'll get to that.
00:13:18.040 Okay?
00:13:19.520 Right?
00:13:19.660 But they are doing so by using the boiling the frog strategy, right?
00:13:24.060 Where they don't take away freedom of expression all at once,
00:13:26.280 but every little thing they do further undermines it,
00:13:28.520 until we reach the point when people are shocked how much freedom they've lost without realizing it,
00:13:32.920 until it's too late, of course.
00:13:34.620 Considering how the liberals first boosted funding for the CBC,
00:13:37.620 of course, you know, the government-paid sponsor, whatever,
00:13:40.740 then bailed out newspapers, then expanded government funding to private media,
00:13:44.080 and then expanded government ad spending,
00:13:46.460 shunned, and even arrested independent media journalists in 2019,
00:13:49.340 election, imposed taxes on streaming services,
00:13:52.460 introduced Bill C-10, Bill C-36,
00:13:55.320 which they will introduce if they do get back into power, of course, honestly.
00:13:59.000 So let's say the liberals win their next election.
00:14:00.760 They will introduce it and probably push the Senate to get it done.
00:14:04.600 Right?
00:14:05.320 And now they are planning to further impose centralized government control
00:14:07.940 over content they deem or admit to as being illegal.
00:14:12.440 Okay.
00:14:13.160 So this is basically a communist-style censorship agenda in slow motion.
00:14:16.960 And that's why we must continue our fight against with it, with all of our strength.
00:14:21.280 And he's right.
00:14:21.920 Well said, Mr. Spencer Frandeau.
00:14:23.600 And I'll leave a link to that story in the description for you all to read and share around, please.
00:14:30.580 And like I say, ladies and gentlemen, if you do like it and hear what you see,
00:14:32.920 please click like, subscribe, and share this all around all your media platforms to help the algorithm out.
00:14:37.340 How about us young guys?

00:15:16.600 I still will be doing the Fastball Sunday every Sunday until further notice.

00:15:28.880 Basically, it's just a political panel.
00:15:30.620 We talk about politics.
00:15:32.260 We talk about the social spectrum, economic spectrums, and freedom as we see it.
00:15:36.640 We come from all walks of life.
00:15:37.860 Adam is a trained actor, successful actor, enthusiast, avid reader.
00:15:43.560 He's a historian.
00:15:45.180 He comes from a very, very diverse background.
00:15:47.040 He's well-traveled.
00:15:48.160 Elle, Sophia Rossetti, a trans female.
00:15:50.360 Well, she's a female now.
00:15:52.400 She's gone through some insurmountable odds to be where she's at today, but she's very successful, well-read.
00:15:58.620 She's a truther.
00:15:59.700 And Fred Stockman, a young American historian out of Massachusetts, Kiwi-American, New Zealander, born and bred, lives in America.
00:16:07.860 It's quite the tradesman and quite the effect of understanding young men.
00:16:11.700 So please tune into our show, Fastball Sunday, every Sunday here on Facebook and YouTube and on Twitch, 4 p.m. Mountain Standard Time.
00:16:20.540 That's every Sunday.
00:16:21.740 So please tune into that.
00:16:22.820 Anyway, carrying on, more of this censorship garbage and more of this political conundrum that we're facing today.
00:16:29.840 It's amazing how the minority government is scrambling and trying to get brownie points, meanwhile, trying to stick it up our nostrils.

00:16:50.480 Anyway, carrying on to a story that came out of the Western Standard.
00:16:57.160 Now, I'll leave a link in the description for you, too.
00:17:01.040 Western Standard, it's a pay-as-you-go website, but it's a media outlet from out here in Alberta.
00:17:08.640 Anyway, this came in today, actually, about two hours ago.
00:17:12.240 So I just printed it off there, and like I said, I'll leave the link in the description for you guys to follow and read along there, too, if you want to.
00:17:18.540 From the Western Standard, on recent news, the RCMP-applauds censorship bill will help in prosecutions.
00:17:26.760 Quote-unquote, it may not seem like a massive development in terms of dealing with the scope of everything that's been talked about,
00:17:34.880 but it will equip a law enforcement to see more things through to charges in this country.
00:17:40.100 And this comes, this is a quote from the RCMP Corporal Anthony Statham.
00:17:44.800 All righty, so I'll read along here, you know.
00:17:49.300 An internet censorship bill would be useful in prosecuting bloggers and Facebook subscribers,
00:17:54.920 an RCMP specialist said Monday night.
00:17:57.660 Bill C-36 will see more things through to charges, a webinar was told.
00:18:03.700 Law enforcement has to have the ability to use the law effectively, said Corporal Anthony Statham
00:18:08.680 of the RCMP's British Columbia Hate Crimes Team.
00:18:11.920 Statham complained Parliament did not define what hatred is when it outlawed hate speech in 1970.
00:18:18.840 Bill C-36, an act to amend the criminal code, threatens house arrest or $70,000 fines
00:18:25.160 for any internet publisher, blogger, or social media user suspected of posting hateful content
00:18:31.440 without incitement of any crime.
00:18:34.120 Okay, so I don't like taxes in this country.
00:19:04.100 I don't like it when politicians are elected and take money and give it away to others.
00:19:09.260 I hate bitter cold.
00:19:11.400 I hate super hot days.
00:19:14.020 Am I committing a crime?
00:19:15.460 But I guess according to this, I can still be fine for saying such hateful things.
00:19:19.980 Oh, how dare you, Krusty?
00:19:21.300 Oh, oh my goodness, how dare you?
00:19:24.980 Yeah, and just before, you know, Parliament left for the summer, right?
00:19:28.260 In Canada, we don't have anything regulating speech, said Statham.
00:19:32.560 Under Section 2 of our Charter of Rights and Freedom of Expression is protected.
00:19:36.860 So there's no such thing as free speech in Canada.
00:19:39.320 Only freedom of expression.
00:19:40.560 Okay, Corporal, how do you think freedom of expression?
00:19:50.620 What does that mean?
00:19:52.060 What does freedom of expression mean?
00:19:55.200 No, there's no actual terminology of freedom of speech.
00:19:58.500 No, of course not.
00:19:59.900 No, no, no, no, no.
00:20:01.340 Freedom of expression.
00:20:02.520 That includes speech, dumbass.
00:20:06.040 Okay?
00:20:06.660 Speaking of webinars sponsored by the federally funded Canadian Anti-Hate Network,
00:20:11.380 Statham noted that the current Section 319 of the Criminal Code forbids public incitement of hatred.
00:20:17.780 By communicating statements in any public place that incite hatred against any unidentifiable group,
00:20:25.060 the term hatred is not defined.
00:20:27.580 Well, of course, okay?
00:20:29.300 We all know if you go to any kind of rally that promotes any kind of color of skin or any kind of identity,
00:20:37.300 yes, it can incite hatred.
00:20:38.480 We understand this.
00:20:39.760 We understand the basics, Corporal.
00:20:41.560 Do you not get that fucking gist?
00:20:43.900 Pardon my swearing again, ladies and gentlemen.
00:20:46.400 Okay?
00:20:47.780 Fuck.
00:20:48.660 The government is now proposing to add a definition of hatred under this section of the Code, said Statham.
00:20:54.380 Now, it may come to a surprise to many Canadians, just in general, the fact that we have this section that deals with promoting hatred,
00:21:02.340 but we haven't actually defined what hatred is.
00:21:06.200 So I'll tell you what.
00:21:07.100 How about you define what hatred is first before you start telling me and other people what is hateful, what isn't hateful?
00:21:13.940 Okay?
00:21:14.780 I mentioned this before.
00:21:16.040 If someone comes up to you and say, I hate your guts because of your hat or your eye color or your stance,
00:21:23.200 would that be deemed as hateful and that person should be fined $70,000 or more for that?
00:21:29.940 Like, do you not see the volume of the consequences you're promoting here?
00:21:34.760 Holy shit.
00:21:37.000 Wow.
00:21:37.580 You know, so, Bill, C-36 would define hatred as the emotion that involves detestation or vilification and that is stronger than dislike or disdain.
00:21:48.700 The amendment will lead to more charges, said statement.
00:21:51.000 Well, if somebody hates the situation and they say it in public, would that be deemed offensive too?
00:21:57.860 Like, fuck.
00:21:59.460 Holy cow.
00:22:00.500 I think the proposal is to do a very good thing, he said.
00:22:03.120 Oh, a very good thing.
00:22:04.000 Yes, yes, to make people walk the line for you, Corporal.
00:22:07.380 Okay.
00:22:09.040 It may not seem like a massive development in terms of dealing with the scope of everything that's been talked about here today,
00:22:15.440 but it will equip law enforcement to see more things through to charges in this country.
00:22:22.540 This needs to be revisited, he said.
00:22:24.760 An amendment to this section of the code, I believe, will have a positive effect as far as our ability to do something about online hate when something needs to be done.
00:22:34.640 The Bill C-36 would make it a discriminatory practice to communicate or cause to be communicated hate speech by means of the internet and other means of telecommunications in a context which the hate speech is likely to foment the station or vilification of an individual group or individuals on the basis of prohibited ground of discrimination.
00:22:55.520 Internet users suspected of vilification would be subject to house arrest on reasonable grounds, quote, unquote, on reasonable grounds.
00:23:05.080 Fuck.
00:23:05.680 Regardless of whether a crime occurred.
00:23:09.020 Facebook content that discredits, humiliates, hurts, or offends would be exempt.
00:23:14.680 Oh, okay.
00:23:15.060 So you can say something insulting, but then somebody in that little group might be offended and threaten hate speech against you, and then all of a sudden you're under house arrest.
00:23:25.540 I don't know.
00:23:28.220 Did you folks get it?
00:23:29.500 Let me know.
00:23:29.960 The Department of Justice, as in a June 23rd background or document, said the measures would apply to public communications by individual users on the internet, including on social media, on personal websites, and in mass emails, blog posts, online news sites.
00:23:46.580 Operators of websites that primarily publish their own content, and user comment sections.
00:23:53.080 Okay.
00:23:53.640 So basically, they're going to decide what you put online.
00:23:56.380 Because what I got out of that article, ladies and gentlemen, what I received out of this article was they have no idea what they're talking about, but they're just going to do their best and try to filter out all the bad words that people see every day.
00:24:07.980 Now, I, for one, I'm against bullying.
00:24:10.640 I'm against cyberbullying.
00:24:12.360 I'm against, you know, people being cruel or mean and whatever, too.
00:24:15.800 But in my history with the Krusty Connect podcast, I have never said anything spiteful towards anyone's gender, anyone's color, anyone's identity.
00:24:25.580 Okay.
00:24:26.060 Now, I've questioned certain identities because this whole transgender thing is just, to me, it's just one big mess.
00:24:32.480 Okay.
00:24:33.200 Now, I'm not condemning anybody out there that's transitioning or who has transitioned, and there's a couple of people that can back me up on that.
00:24:40.340 Okay.
00:24:40.860 What I do condemn is the stupidity and the fake science and the fake reports that go into things just to justify a freaking narrative.
00:24:49.160 Like I say in my bio on KrustyConnock.ca, don't try to tell me that the sun is the moon and the moon is the sun.
00:24:56.600 You see what I mean?
00:24:57.120 Stay updated and follow KrustyConnock on Facebook, Twitter, Gap, Telegram, YouTube, and Podbean.
00:25:06.100 Subscribe today and donate at KrustyConnock.ca.
00:25:09.420 And furthermore, okay, you know, I'm holding up four fingers.
00:25:18.820 Four fingers, look at that.
00:25:20.960 Ooh, interesting, right?
00:25:22.660 Oh, yeah.
00:25:23.580 Or is it three fingers?
00:25:30.340 Which is it?
00:25:31.480 All right?
00:25:32.280 Gives you something to think about now, doesn't it?
00:25:33.640 So after reading that article, and here's a corporal in the RCMP, so let's assume this individual has been part of the Mounted Police for the better part of 10 to 15 years, or maybe more, okay?
00:25:45.480 Individuals like that are going to dictate terms to you and me, okay?
00:25:49.000 This person is not elected.
00:25:50.500 This person does not represent, okay, a certain party or democracy.
00:25:54.660 He represents law enforcement, okay?
00:25:57.620 And I'm a firm believer that if someone types anti-Semitic things or anti-Christian things or anti-Muslim things or racial things, whatever, fine.
00:26:06.660 A person should be prosecuted to a certain degree.
00:26:11.300 But freedom of expression is, as far as I'm concerned, is the same as free speech, okay?
00:26:18.620 And it's the same as free speech, the exact same thing.
00:26:21.240 You are allowed to express yourself freely, opinion on religion, on anything, right?
00:26:26.780 Would it suit the powers that be better if I did it through interpretive dance, perhaps?
00:26:32.960 No?
00:26:33.320 Shall I gallivant around like some kind of beanie top, put on a pride flag and call it a day?
00:26:38.560 Would that be more acceptable, right?
00:26:42.220 So we've gone to a point where people cannot be people anymore.
00:26:47.260 We have to fit in a category, okay?
00:26:50.600 We have to fit in a certain specific group all the time.
00:26:53.380 Did we not try to grow out of that fucking phase in high school and in part of our college educations, okay?
00:26:59.200 Did we not grow out of that mandate, that mantra?
00:27:03.320 Did we not?
00:27:04.580 No, of course not.
00:27:05.580 We still have to sit in our hands and wait for Mr. Overlords to tell us how to do, how to poo, how to think, right?
00:27:12.380 It gives you something to think about, right?
00:27:13.900 And it keeps lingering, it keeps lurking, it keeps, you get its little heads around the corner, taking its little look at you, thinking, oh, okay.
00:27:24.740 Now we'll get you here, we'll get you there, because it's all about control, okay?
00:27:28.280 Look at the government spending that this government has promoted.
00:27:30.760 Look at the government divisions.
00:27:32.400 Look at the divisions that these governments have promoted the past six years, okay?
00:27:37.620 Now, I don't like Stephen Gilbert, I don't like Justin Trudeau, I don't like Christopher Freeland, I don't like Catherine McKenna, I think they're all full of crap.
00:27:48.360 Honestly, I don't wish any physical harm on them, I would love to see them humiliated.
00:27:53.680 Is that hate speech, RCMP, eh?
00:27:57.840 Is that hate speech, Corporal Statum, eh?
00:28:00.780 Is that hateful?
00:28:01.660 Is that hateful content?
00:28:02.640 Is it hateful for me to say that?
00:28:05.640 I have no respect for our government officials in this country.
00:28:09.040 I'm losing a lot of respect for it, okay?
00:28:11.500 Because they're paid a very, very good dollar.
00:28:14.180 And they have lots of perks and privileges because of their positions.
00:28:17.420 And what have they done to earn said positions?
00:28:19.920 What have they done to kept said positions?
00:28:22.500 Absolutely nothing, other than virtue.
00:28:27.200 Tossing a wet rag into the wind, hoping for the best, right?
00:28:30.840 Right?
00:28:32.640 What are they promoting?
00:28:34.860 What have they promoted?
00:28:36.260 Other than division, political strife, fear, right?
00:28:41.160 If anyone should be censored, they should be censored, right?
00:28:45.140 Something to think about, folks.

00:30:22.940 And pay attention to my community page on YouTube and my Facebook page for updates as we speak.
00:30:28.400 We carry on more censorship, too.
00:30:30.120 Now, I understand the basic principles when it comes to being tactful and being polite and being rude and being belligerent and all that.
00:30:37.960 But I'm also finding, too, there's more and more people losing their jobs, i.e., like yours truly, because of opinions.
00:30:44.480 People are losing face.
00:30:46.040 People are losing subscribers.
00:30:47.720 People are losing sales.
00:30:49.520 People are losing their job because of opinions.
00:30:53.420 There's a big stink going on in the States now with Black Rifle Coffee Company.
00:30:56.340 Apparently, they said something to this group of people, and that group of people didn't like it, and vice versa.
00:31:02.540 I'm not going to get into it because I know it's a veteran-owned and operated business.
00:31:07.620 I have nothing against Black Rifle Coffee Company whatsoever.
00:31:10.540 They've made a good product.
00:31:12.360 They've had some great sales.
00:31:14.760 And it was a company built by veterans, people that have actually gone through some nasty, chaotic shit.
00:31:19.700 And I never read anything that was terrible, seen anything terrible about them, too.
00:31:26.120 So regardless of how you feel about Black Rifle Coffee Company, that's you as a consumer.
00:31:30.400 You decide what you want to do.
00:31:32.040 I don't think they've done anything wrong, per se.
00:31:34.480 I don't know if they've catered to a certain woke mob or that's a rumor or speculation.
00:31:38.920 Needless to say, ladies and gentlemen, think for yourself.
00:31:42.380 That's what it comes down to.
00:31:45.660 Excuse me.
00:31:46.940 Sorry, some bad gas there today.
00:31:49.700 But think for yourself.
00:31:51.920 Buy what you want.
00:31:52.800 Do what you want.
00:31:53.320 That's what it comes down to.
00:31:54.220 Classical liberalism at its finest.
00:31:56.700 Live and let live.
00:31:57.800 I don't care if this guy is transitioning.
00:31:59.540 I don't care if this girl is gay.
00:32:00.740 I don't care if this little boy is coming out of the closet.
00:32:02.740 I don't care.
00:32:03.680 What I care about is that people can live freely in a democratic state without worrying about any kind of persecution or prosecution for words.
00:32:12.960 Okay?
00:32:13.840 For words.
00:32:14.740 Now, if some stupid redneck twanker wants to sit there and point fingers at people who happen to be black or happen to be brown or represent this group or that group, and he or she wants to say ridiculous and heinous things, fine.
00:32:29.100 Then find a person for doing that, whatever, for being that kind of belligerent and being that bigoted.
00:32:36.620 Okay?
00:32:37.440 But for what you and I do here online, to the viewer, to the consumer, to the other bloggers, to other podcasters, and presenters and citizen journalists alike, we still got to keep fighting a good fight.
00:32:47.700 Period.
00:32:49.000 Okay?
00:32:49.200 There's no need to censor anybody.
00:32:51.240 There's no need to do it.
00:32:52.760 Okay?
00:32:54.100 Like, I remember my basic media studies back in high school.
00:32:57.200 If you don't like something, turn the page.
00:32:59.680 If you don't like a song, turn off the radio or turn off the tape player or the record player or the CD player.
00:33:05.260 You don't like a movie, don't go and see it.
00:33:07.300 You don't like a concert, don't go to the show.
00:33:09.940 That's simple.
00:33:10.700 But I guess we've lost that perspective, right?
00:33:12.540 I guess we can't do that anymore because everything has to be made comfortable 24-7, right?
00:33:18.920 You know, when the hell did comfort become a right?
00:33:21.780 Honestly, when did it become a right?
00:33:26.120 Join the Liberal Party of Canada.
00:33:29.000 We'll tell you what to think, what to do, how to wipe, how to pick your nose, in the name of safety.
00:33:39.160 And that gets you going, too, right?
00:33:41.200 Yeah.
00:33:42.540 Here we're supposed to elect these officials to protect our nation, to protect our country, protect our economy, our way of life, okay?
00:33:49.880 To make sure that, you know, businesses are still open.
00:33:52.700 But look what the beer bug has caused, okay?
00:33:55.380 Now, a lot of things are opened up now.
00:33:56.960 I get it, okay?
00:33:57.880 There's a little more liberties, more freedoms, too.
00:34:00.040 But then there's speculation of the so-called fourth wave, okay?
00:34:05.000 And what is this fourth wave going to do now, too?
00:34:08.140 Because of these new variants, okay?
00:34:10.800 So, the majority of Canadians now have had their second shots, their second jabs and everything, okay, and they should be protected.
00:34:17.060 So, they were told.
00:34:18.360 So, we were told that these individuals are now protected against any kind of COVID or beer bug or whatever you want to call it, okay?
00:34:26.800 And nobody in my circle is denying the fact that this was real, that this wasn't real.
00:34:32.340 What was denied is the stupidity that has gone in the neighbor protection, okay?
00:34:36.140 Now, their logic is this simple.
00:34:37.960 Every authoritative figure in your life that has told you about this beer bug is more or less trying to tell you that, okay, 98% of Canadians don't poop their pants, but we're going to give you a diaper anyway just in case.
00:34:51.420 That's the way I look at this whole thing, okay?
00:34:55.080 That's the way I look at this whole freaking monstrosity of a policy, of safety, and of governance, okay?
00:35:02.480 And regardless of where you sit on the fence, ladies and gentlemen, I don't care if you're NDP, I don't care if you're liberal, I don't care if you're conservative, I don't care if you're a bloc, I don't care if you're independent, I don't care if you don't vote, whatever, okay?
00:35:12.960 We were lied to, we were lied to, okay?
00:35:19.100 Now, with the stuff I just mentioned, okay, those two news reports that I just mentioned that came from independent journalists, nothing mainstream, because it's funny the mainstream doesn't talk about it because they're so worried about Anna-Marie Paul or Anna Mae Paul, you know, being ousted by the Green Party.
00:35:35.160 You know, she gets elected by the Green Party, represent the Green Party, now the Green Party wants to oust her because of this, because of that, and I did an episode on her too, how she pulled the race card out every time someone questioned her ability.
00:35:47.920 Maybe she's not a nice person to work for, or not a nice person to work with, right?
00:35:52.960 Then again, maybe the Green Party just can't decide whether it's coming or going, because I look at Green Party policies as borderline communists as far as I'm concerned.
00:36:00.400 You know, any political party that keeps telling Canadians what to do with their money and where to spend it, to me, has no respect.
00:36:09.020 I get no respect.
00:36:10.040 Now, the Veterans Coalition Party, we want Canadians to keep their money.
00:36:13.780 We want Canadians to thrive, okay?
00:36:16.580 Pay a flat tax and just carry on about your business to promote proper fairness and proper equality, regardless of color or creed or gender or spectrum or how you identify, okay?
00:36:28.460 That simple.
00:36:29.140 Yet, we've forgotten that simplistic politic.
00:36:31.640 We've forgotten that.
00:36:33.500 We've allowed these morons to call the shots.
00:36:37.080 So, if a fourth wave comes up, knocking on our door, more policy regulations get up, more mass signs go up, more social distance signs go up, I think it's time to tear them down and stand high for what's right.
00:36:52.720 Now, Corporal Statham, is that hateful for me to say?
00:36:57.400 Am I being hateful, Corporal?
00:36:59.480 Huh?
00:36:59.920 Am I being spiteful, Stephen Gobert?
00:37:02.520 Am I undermining democracy when I want people to choose for themselves, when I encourage people to think for themselves, to buy what they want, to sleep with who they want, as long as they're not hitting people, taking their stuff?
00:37:14.760 Shit simple, eh?
00:37:16.520 But then what do I know?
00:37:18.340 I'm just some Krusty Canuck.
00:37:20.720 All right?
00:37:21.760 Anyway, ladies and gentlemen, thank you once again for coming up to Fastball Sunday this past Sunday.
00:37:26.400 And please stay tuned to more of the Fastball Sunday every Sunday, 4 p.m.
00:37:31.020 on YouTube and Facebook, respectively.
00:37:34.900 4 p.m.
00:37:35.360 Mountain Standard Time.
00:37:37.040 And I say again, please, if you like and hear what you see, please click like, subscribe, and share this around and comment to all of your social media platforms.
00:37:45.660 Uh, if anyone's out there, uh, who wants to get in touch with me, you can.
00:37:50.020 You can reach me at KrustyBeaconuck67 at gmail.com.
00:37:55.060 Also, there's more contact information in the links in the description on my Podbean page and my YouTube page and other pages that I use, i.e. Rumble, Brighteon, and Wimkin.
00:38:04.460 So, uh, please reach out and touch, eh, touch me if you can.
00:38:09.560 Reach out and touch me.
00:38:11.580 Yeah, okay.
00:38:12.640 That's my terrible homage to, uh, Depeche Mode there.
00:38:16.680 Needless to say, ladies and gentlemen, if you like and hear what you see, please send me some.
00:38:20.020 I like to make this a full-time commitment.
00:38:22.420 Yes, I do have political ambitions, and I'd like to get into federal politics.
00:38:25.560 That's why I'm running under the Veterans Coalition of Canada party banner.
00:38:30.220 I'm going to represent the, uh, Crowfoot and Battle River riding, too.
00:38:34.700 So, please keep that in mind.
00:38:36.860 If you want any more information on the Veterans Coalition Party, just check out veteranscoalitionparty.ca, and you get all the information there, too.
00:38:43.720 Or contact me, and I'll send you links, uh, to the party's website.
00:38:47.480 And if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask, too.
00:38:50.460 And my door is still open out there, ladies and gentlemen, to, uh, veterans and serving members.
00:38:55.540 Uh, if any veterans or serving members have had issues with any kind of sexual misconduct, or really bad harassment conduct, let me know.
00:39:05.400 Okay, send me an email, too, uh, at Krusty Canuck, or KrustyBCanuck67 at gmail.com.
00:39:11.640 I'll do what I can to give you a hand, right?
00:39:13.980 And I'll also leave a link to a hotline, too.
00:39:15.840 If anyone, uh, in the veteran circle is having a hard time coping, give that number a call, and I'll direct you to some people who can help you out with your OSI or any injuries for that matter, too.
00:39:25.020 So, uh, I've used it myself.
00:39:27.200 And, uh, because of that number, I've come a long way, ladies and gentlemen.
00:39:31.680 So, don't give up.
00:39:33.700 You know, we will find light in this manufactured darkness, ladies and gentlemen.
00:39:37.220 We will find light, and it's up to us as individuals to make it happen, right?
00:39:42.720 Um, regardless of what I just presented to you, my, my audience, my listeners and viewers alike, uh, we have to stand our ground.
00:39:51.740 It's that simple.
00:39:54.060 Like I said in the, uh, fastball, I don't want to see violence come on the horizon.
00:39:58.520 Nobody does.
00:40:00.940 But I, I do believe that we're getting backed into a corner ever so slowly and carefully.
00:40:07.980 And it's up to us to find the gaps and to stand high and to stand proud once again.
00:40:14.160 Like I said, ladies and gentlemen, I have been Krusty Canuck on this beautiful 20th of July, 2021.
00:40:20.760 Look after your friends and loved ones and do what you can to help each other the best you can.
00:40:24.560 Uh, later today, I'm going to do some housework.
00:40:26.360 It's a little overdue, uh, just to make the wife happy.
00:40:29.340 I just celebrated my anniversary with my wife, too.
00:40:31.420 So, uh, eight years her and I have been together, uh, married.
00:40:34.120 And we've had her ups and downs, but, uh, I still look forward to seeing her every day.
00:40:38.660 So that's a good thing.
00:40:40.600 And I'm very, very proud of my wife and her accomplishments and what she stands for.
00:40:44.600 Regardless if we disagree or not in the political spectrum, she's still my number one.
00:40:49.140 And, uh, she and my family and my friends and you, you, my beautiful audience out there with fighting for.
00:40:58.360 So get that in mind.
00:40:59.260 Like I say, ladies and gentlemen, look after your friends and loved ones.
00:41:01.240 Do what you can.
00:41:01.900 To find light in this manufactured darkness and, uh, give a little extra, if you can, to people, i.e. effort, time, maybe a few bucks here and there, but, uh, do what you can to each other out.
00:41:15.200 All right.
00:41:16.220 Like I say, humanity merit wins the day and I'll see you in the next episode.
00:41:21.420 Bye for now.
00:41:25.900 Hit it, sweetheart.
00:41:28.140 Because I am hard, you will not like me.
00:41:30.660 There is no racial bigotry here.
00:41:39.140 There you are, all equally.
00:41:43.340 This has been another episode of the Krusty Canuck Podcast.
00:41:47.160 Stay sane and thank you for listening.
00:41:49.600 From Western Canada, this is the Krusty Canuck Podcast.
00:41:56.800 Well, smack my ass and call me Judy.
00:42:00.660 Thank you.
