00:00:18.860And as Canadians, generosity is in our DNA.

00:00:30.000The redistricting war rages on and Democrats are warning that one third of the congressional
00:00:36.080black caucus could be wiped out in this conflict, this procedural battle between the Democrats and
00:00:42.180Republicans. Since the VRA was fundamentally shifted, there is a potential for a major
00:00:48.200upheaval nationwide. Well, most people are focusing on Southern states saying obviously
00:00:53.640in Louisiana, they're going to redistrict and eliminate one of these majority minority districts.
00:00:58.540The truth is Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Illinois, many states have majority minority districts drawn up for the purpose of equity or for race based reasons.
00:01:12.480And the question is, why is there a congressional black caucus?
00:01:16.420Why are we creating political bodies in our government solely based on race?
00:01:37.280If Harmeet Dillon, the Civil Rights Division of the DOJ, goes after these states, it'll be massive.
00:01:43.160If Donald Trump gets his way on universal mail-in voting with the post office, his executive order,
00:01:48.540saying you can't send them out unless you can prove that they are citizens eligible to vote.
00:01:52.120So if the SAVE Act happens, if we get the citizenship question on the census for 2030, we are looking at a fundamental shift in this country, the likes of which we have not seen in generations.
00:02:10.620And oh, boy, do I got some data for you.
00:02:12.680Now, you've already heard I've talked about it.
00:02:14.840The internal migration from people from state to state is going to fundamentally shift the balance of power in Congress.
00:02:21.040But on the issue of illegal immigration, it could be additionally massive.
00:02:26.320If we do not count illegal immigrants, wait till I show you state by state based on district level data, which they tend not to give you.
00:02:35.620The argument we see from all these experts is that, well, you know, California will lose a seat, but Texas will lose a seat.1.00
00:02:41.960So it's even right. A Democrat state or Republican state?
00:02:45.140No. When you break it down to the district level, eliminating illegal immigrants from the census count would result in Democrat congressional districts in red states being eliminated.0.81
00:03:00.480Now, that may mean Texas loses a seat, but it was a Democrat seat to begin with.0.62
00:03:06.520This is where it all changes, my friends.
00:03:09.820Louisiana has announced they are moving forward with a new map.
00:03:13.780We got the new map for you. They've eliminated one. I believe Alabama is also moving to eliminate
00:03:19.240one seat. Now, South Carolina is getting a little weird. Republicans defied Trump in the state and
00:03:25.220voted against it. But now we're hearing the governor may actually still call a special
00:03:28.880session in Mississippi. We're hearing that the special session has been ended and maybe they'll
00:03:35.060revisit redistricting later on, despite the fact that some reports are saying they're still going
00:03:39.420to do it. Well, I can tell you this, my friends right now, don't matter what they do because the
00:03:44.620GOP is up nine seats already. At the bare minimum, they have turned what was supposed to be a clean
00:03:51.640sweep for the Democrats into a competitive race. For some reason, people think Democrats can win
00:03:57.540the Senate. That's insane. But we'll talk about that as we do with all the news, starting with
00:04:03.780the end of the Congressional Black Caucus. And the argument I present to you right now, I ask
00:04:08.620you all this, why do we have race-based voting blocs in this country? Now, by all means, get0.66
00:04:15.480factual and say, well, you see, Tim Beck during the civil rights era, agreed. I'm talking about
00:04:19.500today. For what purpose do we allow this? I would actually argue we should have a restriction
00:04:28.300on the formation of political bodies on the basis of race. I don't think they should be allowed.
00:04:34.420Of course, they'll just lie and say, no, no, we're the the, you know, historical American lovers of freedom caucus where everyone's black.
00:04:45.880But I don't think there should be an Asian caucus or a Latino caucus or a black caucus or a white caucus.
00:04:51.280I think there should just be American politicians.
00:05:33.680Tens of thousands of people hanging out every day.
00:05:35.960If you're trying to start a new project, start a company, make a band, write a comic, maybe write a book, you got to meet people to help you do it.
00:05:44.420Now, maybe you know how to do these things and you want to help others.
00:06:00.220Don't just be a passive observer, because eventually, if people do not stand up for what is true and right and honorable, then darkness prevails.
00:06:12.700And I'm asking you to stick your neck out and jump into a burning pit or to press the blue button.
00:06:39.140The Congressional Black Caucus, a power center in the Democratic Party for decades, saw its membership rise in Congress to an all-time high of 58 House members.
00:07:15.780They say, CBC chair Yvette Clark said as many as 19 of the caucus's members could be affected by the redistricting wars in a worst case scenario.
00:07:25.360though she noted it's still fluid given that states are still drawing new maps in the wake
00:07:30.640of the supreme court ruling it's devastating people have sacrificed so much to make this
00:07:35.020a more perfect union and here we are in 2026 seeing this massive regression and all the gains0.86
00:07:40.000that have been made it's painful yeah all the gains made just for black people and that's it0.99
00:07:45.940and you know i'm gonna tell you why i'm mid you see uh look at my family going back to the 60s
00:07:51.700pre-loving v. Virginia. You know, it was illegal for people of different races to cohabitate,
00:07:59.040to have children. It was a crime. They call these miscegenation laws. And my mom was born at a time1.00
00:08:07.100when it was actually a crime to cohabitate. My grandmother had to pretend to be the help,1.00
00:08:13.280and her kids were just the help. And when people would find out that this was actually an
00:08:21.080interracial couple, my family had to flee. Now, I have a question for these people.1.00
00:08:29.480Do they claim to be fighting for civil rights? Well, I'd make the argument as such. The Civil
00:08:34.600Rights Act and Loving v. Virginia specifically created a world where people like me could exist.
00:08:40.680And with that, there is a question. Which caucus do I get? Which brings me to my argument against
00:08:47.920this so substantially, and that was Occupy Wall Street. Despite being massively corrupt with
00:08:56.000people stealing money and stuff like that, something interesting happened where it started
00:09:00.420with what they called the General Assembly. Everybody in the park would come together and
00:09:03.260they'd all wiggle their hands and vote on things. The only problem is stagnation. Nobody agreed.
00:09:07.600So they never got anything solved. Facilitators, they called themselves the bureaucracy of Occupy
00:09:13.260Wall Street, decided to change the structure of the voting body to a spokes council, they called it.
00:09:17.920then you would have different bodies based on the work they do send a representative so that
00:09:24.440things could move more quickly and negotiations could be made. It's kind of like why we have
00:09:28.340Congress. Instead of having a million people all scream at each other, one guy comes in, cuts a
00:09:33.420deal. Well, the funny thing was it made sense to me that like the computer working group and the
00:09:39.740sanitation working group would have interests related to functions of the protest and send a
00:09:45.140representative to have discussion. The only problem was they they believed in the progressive
00:09:51.760stack and they said, well, it's not just about the job you do, but what about your race or your
00:09:56.660gender? This created the Women's Caucus, which went to civil war because they were like half of0.99
00:10:03.340them were like trans women aren't women, which created like two women's caucuses. And one was0.80
00:10:08.500like the Women's Caucus and the Women's with Trans Caucus, which was weird. And then you had,
00:10:14.260of course, the black caucus. And you actually had people like my Wall Street voting for how
00:10:19.160to spend donations because of their skin color. And I said to these people, where do I go?
00:10:26.100Like, what would I do? And they were like, well, there's no caucus for white people. I said,
00:10:30.040no, I'm mixed race. I'm Asian. And they go, oh, Asian caucus. The white people told me to go to
00:10:34.580the Asian caucus. And I said, OK, because I already know what's going to happen. And I go to0.73
00:10:39.260these progressive woke far left Asians and they said, you're white. And I'm like, oh, no, I'm
00:10:43.440mixed. And they go, nope, you're white. Get out. And I'm like, oh, OK, so I get nothing right.
00:10:48.320This is why I can't stand these people. This is why I think this should be banned. And I don't
00:10:52.160care. There should be we should have some kind of provision rule or whatever. You cannot have
00:10:57.520voting blocks in Congress based on race. How are we going to put a stop to racism
00:11:03.240with things like this? So I say good riddance. Well, the war is on, my friends. Let me brush
00:11:09.920the chip off my shoulder and start reading about actual news for you guys. Louisiana GOP lawmakers
00:11:14.260advance map, eliminating one Democrat House district. And I am here for it. I despise these0.95
00:11:22.500people who claim to be fighting for progress while trying to drop a world that excludes people like me1.00
00:11:29.060because you are liars and you are hypocrites. Let me tell you, every time I go to a conservative1.00
00:11:36.520event. Not a one person makes the issue my race. Not a one person at turning point events of
00:11:43.800yesteryear or at the White House ever ever asked me about race or whatever. I've had people come
00:11:51.100up to me and be like, you Mexican? Yeah. And I tell you this, with progressives and Democrats,
00:11:57.760that's all that ever is. At Occupy Wall Street, if you wanted to speak at an event,
00:12:02.540if you are white or male, they dropped you to the bottom of the list and you were only allowed to
00:12:07.560speak after everyone else, which makes literally no sense. None. So a homeless guy who grew up in
00:12:14.320the mountains and struggling wants to speak, but the wealthy trust fund black guy, yeah,0.98
00:12:19.640because they're racist. So Louisiana says we're going to get rid of this majority black district,0.98
00:12:25.480which is just an insane spattering. And why they keep this one, I don't understand.1.00
00:12:30.800Missouri Supreme Court has upheld its new congressional map, adding a likely GOP seat.
00:12:36.920All of it's fantastic. And then, of course, we have this forecast. The 2030 apportionment.
00:12:42.300Y'all ready for this? The world's changing, my friends, changing for the better.
00:12:47.260California's expected to lose four seats. Oregon's going to lose one seat. Then you've got Idaho,
00:12:53.000you've got Utah, and you've got Arizona expected to each gain a seat. You've got Minnesota,
00:12:58.180to Wisconsin and Illinois, going to lose a seat. Pennsylvania, New York will lose a seat.
00:13:03.800North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, they're going to gain seats. Florida gaining two and Texas
00:13:08.200gaining four. It's going to be a tremendous shift, which strips a massive amount of power
00:13:15.340from Democrats because they have mismanaged their states. They only have one answer,
00:16:33.040They say South Carolina's governor is waiting to see what the legislature can accomplish by May 14th
00:16:37.200before determining whether to call a special session.
00:16:40.220South Carolina Senate failed to adopt an amended signed resolution on May 12th,
00:16:46.500which would allow lawmakers to keep working beyond the May 14th deadline.
00:16:50.180President Donald Trump specifically called in the state Senate to redraw the maps, and they said no.
00:16:54.540But if a special session is called, it's on.
00:16:58.940Now, interestingly, when we move over to Mississippi, Governor Tate Reeves cancels the special session on redistricting.
00:17:05.060Yeah, but this is where it gets weird.
00:17:06.980This is a special session on redistricting the Supreme Court seats, their jurisdiction.
00:17:12.840They say the May 20th special session was initially called to fulfill the court ordered redistricting of Mississippi Supreme Court voting districts.
00:17:20.080But in the wake of the U.S. Supreme Court's decision to gut the Voting Rights Act, the ruling was overturned and the state no longer has to redraw those districts.
00:17:29.940Calls for Reeves to include Mississippi's U.S. House voting map in this special session echoed on social media bolstered by state auditor Shad White and later agricultural commissioner and gubernatorial candidate Andy Gibson.
00:17:41.040The Republican politicians urged legislature to eliminate the majority black district that has elected Thompson a Democrat for 33 years.
00:17:50.080Well, Ryan James Gerduski comes in and says, Alabama and Louisiana redistricting two seats
00:17:57.680instead of four. Yep. South Carolina blocking the redistrict. Mississippi's waiting till 2027.
00:18:03.980The South really dropping the ball. Yeah, no, I don't think they're dropping the ball. I think
00:18:09.380they're doing exactly what they've always been expected to be. They are what we expect them to
00:18:16.040be. So dropping the ball means we, the outsider populists who want to see real change, are upset
00:18:23.320that the establishment crony shills will not do what needs to be done to preserve and protect this
00:18:30.320union. Indeed. Now, there is an aside, which I want to throw into the mix a little bit before
00:18:36.560we get into the bigger macro scales of these things. Thomas Massey and this crazy scandal
00:18:42.520that's emerged. Thomas Massey may actually lose. It's really, really close. The polls,
00:18:48.180I think we got the poll data here. Echelon Insights. Ed Galrain is winning in the polls
00:18:54.880against Thomas Massey for the primary. And it's, you know, it's across the board. With those
00:19:00.220leaning, you get Galrain at 52.8%. The key takeaways, Massey may actually lose his seat
00:19:08.640as the GOP has dumped massive amounts of money into this fight.
00:19:12.980What I can only say is Thomas Massey is a maverick.
