00:01:19.900 A federal appeals court has upheld a ban on pride flags flying in Hamtramck City Hall.
00:01:29.100 Now, for those that aren't familiar, this story goes back three years when the Muslim
00:01:33.820 Council decided that this symbol was offensive and would not be allowed to be flown on their
00:01:40.400 flagpoles.
00:01:41.880 Now, leftists are apoplectic.
00:01:43.720 They're saying it's conservatives that are doing this to us. 0.96
00:01:46.700 But in fact, when you take a look at the details, this is the expansion of Islam in the ruling. 0.78
00:01:53.840 They said they're banning these flags because they're they're they're they're political symbols that are deeply offensive. 0.99
00:02:00.900 But they will still be able to fly the American flag.
00:02:05.080 That's good. Prisoner of war flag is good. 0.92
00:02:07.820 However, they can also fly flags that show international character, which many leftists
00:02:14.740 are pointing out means Islamic flags or flags that represent Islamic countries or similar
00:02:20.200 things.
00:02:21.000 Basically, they worded the ban to make sure you could not fly pride flags.
00:02:26.560 And I'm sure many conservatives are kind of confused in how they feel about this.
00:02:31.240 On the one hand, they're getting rid of a political ideological symbol that does not
00:02:35.600 represent America, but only one political faction. 0.89
00:02:37.820 But it's because it's an offensive liberal practice to Sharia obeying Muslims.
00:02:45.000 Many, many Christians in this country are concerned that Islam is expanding rapidly. 0.99
00:02:48.700 But here's where it gets funny.
00:02:51.420 While these leftists are upset this ban happened, Kathy Hochul of New York was seen recently
00:02:57.420 wearing hijab to appease Muslim constituents.
00:03:02.040 Now, whatever your opinion is on that, liberals are defending it, saying it's a good thing,
00:03:07.460 Showing my friends the true nature of politics in this country.
00:03:11.100 What motivates the ideological left is, of course, socialist, communist, its policy.
00:03:16.980 But there is an underlying whatever you are mad about, we are for and whatever you are
00:03:23.000 against or whatever you are for, we are against.
00:03:25.780 In which case, when conservatives point out they don't like the governor wearing a hijab,
00:03:30.580 a religious garment, because the state should not be doing this. 0.98
00:03:35.580 But I mean, if you're not Muslim, especially the left says, oh, yeah. 0.96
00:03:40.320 But then when the expansion of Islamic law results in the banning of their flags, they're they're out of their minds with anger.
00:03:47.100 Well, that's the way the cookie crumbles as it goes. 0.69
00:03:51.180 Let's read the news before we do.
00:03:53.040 My friends, check out the new Tim Pool show.
00:03:57.120 It's on Rumble.
00:03:58.380 It is on YouTube.
00:03:59.560 And holy smokes, our episode, Men Don't Need Therapies, got over 900,000 views and rising. 0.93

00:04:10.060 Absolutely amazing.
00:04:10.940 Thank you guys so much.
00:04:12.180 You know, there's a lot of reasons why it probably does well.
00:04:14.800 New channel, fresh in the algorithm.
00:04:17.500 It's popping off.
00:04:18.760 A political subject matter, all of that stuff.

00:04:30.220 It's just shy of 74.
00:04:31.840 It's a bit more political.
00:04:33.300 It's doing well.
00:04:34.080 One thing you got to understand about these shows, which is really crazy, is that they
00:04:36.660 get views over a long period of time, which is not what you're used to seeing in the news
00:04:40.060 space.
00:04:40.960 You know, this video will get a big burst of views, but tomorrow no one will watch it
00:04:44.140 because the news has passed.
00:04:45.500 These are evergreen.
00:04:46.700 So these kind of last forever.
00:04:47.760 Our episode on communism got 179,000, but our media bias episodes got 802,000.

00:05:11.920 Let's grab the news.
00:05:13.720 We got this from Michigan Advance.
00:05:14.860 Federal appeals court upholds Hamtram's ban on pride flags on city property.
00:05:21.080 A federal appellate court has upheld a decision allowing Hamtrak to ban pride flags on city-owned property.
00:05:26.640 The ruling issued August 21st by the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed the September 2025 dismissal
00:05:32.760 by the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan of a challenge to Hamtrak's
00:05:37.680 Hamtramck, is that how you say it?
00:05:39.840 2023 ban on flying pride and other group flags.
00:05:43.000 The court held that even assuming the polls had previously been a forum for private speech,
00:05:47.880 The city is permitted to change the purpose of that forum and restrict the polls to specified
00:05:52.140 flags, making it display government speech. Absolutely hilarious. The challenge to the
00:05:57.600 city's decision was filed by two former city officials, Russ Gordon and Kathy Stockpool,
00:06:02.320 who previously served in the Hamtrak's Human Relations Commission. In July of 23, they raised
00:06:07.500 a pride flag in defiance of a recently passed city council resolution, lending flags on city
00:06:12.480 property, the American flag, the Michigan flag, and flags representing the native countries of
00:06:17.320 immigrant residents. I love it. You can fly the flag of Egypt, but you can't fly a pride flag.
00:06:25.840 This is why conservatives have been trying to call this stuff out. The pride flag was removed
00:06:31.920 the same day, prompting protests from residents and elected officials alike. The resolution to
00:06:37.360 ban the pride flag was made after Hamtank residents elected an all Muslim city council in November of
00:06:42.760 21. The first city to do so in the United States. Although the ban, I'm going to be honest,
00:06:51.140 I'm sitting here being like, so we can fly the American flag and like the POW flag and stuff,
00:06:55.880 but no more pride flags. I agree with the city council on this one. We'll see if they start
00:07:01.380 flying like Egyptian flags or whatever. That's weird. Although the ban the council subsequently
00:07:06.200 passed also prohibits religious, ethic, racial, and political flags that the target of the effort
00:07:10.300 was the LGBTQ pride flag, which many local Muslims said was against their religious beliefs.
00:07:15.520 Among them was former Mayor Amir Ghalib, who campaigned on the issue when he was elected.
00:07:20.360 Ghalib, a supporter of President Trump, was subsequently nominated to serve as the U.S.
00:07:25.780 ambassador to Kuwait. An effort that stalled after the past statements he had made about
00:07:29.640 boycotting Israel came to light during his confirmation hearing. Now, the funny thing is
00:07:34.000 the degree to which conservatives and conservative Muslims agree on a lot of these things. 0.71
00:07:40.980 That is, if you were to remove Islam from it and just said a religious conservative
00:07:46.740 city council voted to ban the pride flag, every Trump-supporting conservative and Christian would 0.85
00:07:52.280 be like, bravo. Now, I am not saying it's hypocrisy. I completely understand the concerns 0.77
00:07:58.500 that Christians have with an expansive authority of an all-Muslim council. 0.58
00:08:03.460 But my friends, this is the United States of America.
00:08:06.860 You can practice whatever religion you want.
00:08:09.420 I suppose it would behoove many Christians to take the political victories 0.85
00:08:12.980 where they agree with Islam in these issues like banning the pride flag. 0.88
00:08:16.860 Although I can tell you, as longstanding historical ideological opponents,
00:08:22.860 many Christians are not happy regardless.
00:08:26.040 Even if some good things come out of it, for many Christians, it is not a good thing that 1.00
00:08:30.000 Muslims are in control of various government functions. 1.00
00:08:33.240 So here we have this post from Reddit. 1.00
00:08:35.080 I love it.
00:08:35.540 Let's read what they say.
00:08:37.360 The verse guy says, flashback, a sense of betrayal. 0.98
00:08:40.080 As an ex-Muslim myself, it is extremely odd that liberals celebrated an all-Muslim-led 0.57
00:08:44.280 council.
00:08:46.580 I'm an atheist and can't imagine doing this for any other religion. 0.70
00:08:49.000 Can you imagine liberals celebrating a city council that was all Catholics or Mormons
00:08:53.460 or Orthodox Jews?
00:08:55.000 What is there to celebrate?
00:08:57.020 First comment. 1.00
00:08:58.320 I don't know of anyone in Detroit that is particularly enthusiastic about an all-Muslim 1.00
00:09:01.480 or any other religion controlling a portion of government. 0.96
00:09:03.920 On the subject of flags, the city would not allow any religious ethic, blah, blah, blah. 0.82
00:09:07.600 We get it.
00:09:08.600 We also don't see thin blue line flags, but you can display the Palestinian-Lebanese-Jordan-Egyptian
00:09:13.380 flag, but not the pride flag or the thin blue line flag. 0.95
00:09:17.220 Dude, you look pathetic, lumping all liberals with whoever few celebrated it, blah, blah, 0.99
00:09:21.400 blah. 1.00
00:09:21.600 They did. 0.62
00:09:22.960 They did.
00:09:23.440 Initially, it was about people being represented, but the team's, no, no, it's not representation 0.96
00:09:28.020 when the entire council is Muslim. 1.00
00:09:30.820 That's domination. 1.00
00:09:32.440 It's like when they claimed the movie Black Panther was diversity.
00:09:35.240 What? 0.99
00:09:35.560 Like everyone in that movie was black. 1.00
00:09:37.300 That's not diversity. 1.00
00:09:38.500 That's just black people. 0.99
00:09:39.900 And that's fine if that's what you want to do. 1.00
00:09:41.660 I don't care, but don't call it diversity. 1.00
00:09:45.480 Oh, man.
00:09:46.980 One person said it's a calling it a pride flag band is a bit of a reach.
00:09:51.140 in the OP said, they specifically made an exception for other flags. The reason was to ban
00:09:56.880 pride flag, not thin blue line flag, 4-H, Luther, etc. But you are correct, the ban was written,
00:10:02.900 so it bans more than just pride, which means it's obeying the letter of the law. I can only say,
00:10:09.380 my friends, you reap what you all have sown. That is the nature of this reality. While they
00:10:15.340 celebrated it, and they do. Take a look at this from the Huffington Post. This is today.
00:10:20.680 New York Governor Kathy Hochul wore a hijab, and you know what happened next. Here's the video. 0.62
00:10:38.060 Indeed. There is the governor wearing a religious submission garment.
00:10:43.440 New York Governor Kathy Ockel drew the ire of conservatives for wearing a hijab.
00:10:48.100 Right-wing personalities from media and politics accused the governor of subjugating herself and bowing to the third world. 0.55
00:10:53.760 Ockel faced similar criticism last year when Ted Cruz mocked her for wearing a headscarf to the funeral of a Muslim police officer.
00:10:59.200 She replied that she was showing respect for a grieving family's faith, as leaders and anyone with basic decency would.
00:11:04.440 Okay, to what end and to what limit? 0.94
00:11:07.360 If I argue that she has to wear, what is it, niqab, full body covering to be respectful, 0.99
00:11:15.320 is she going to do that? 0.99
00:11:16.680 If there's someone out there that argues women should shave their heads at a funeral to be 0.71
00:11:21.040 respectful, is she going to do that? 0.99
00:11:23.360 And the argument is, oh, you can wear the headscarf and then take it off later. 1.00
00:11:25.960 There's a lot of things she can do with that. 1.00
00:11:27.480 How about she has to wear a giant bumblebee costume? 0.73
00:11:29.860 Don't worry. 1.00
00:11:30.500 We will provide it.
00:11:31.420 She can put it on and she can take it off. 0.99
00:11:32.820 It'll take two seconds.
00:11:34.420 Where is the line? 1.00
00:11:36.660 The point is she's doing this because a substantial portion of her constituency 1.00
00:11:40.960 is Muslim, and she has to now cater to them. 0.99
00:11:46.940 And that's it. 1.00
00:11:48.400 We've got this from Riley Gaines, a self-described feminist voluntarily wearing a hijab to not 0.98
00:11:53.500 offend and arouse Muslim men. 0.92
00:11:55.520 Oh, the irony. 1.00
00:11:56.660 Now, the funny thing is, look how the Huffington Post is like, conservatives are so dumb. 1.00
00:12:01.340 OK, fine. 1.00
00:12:03.220 I got to be honest.
00:12:03.980 in Frederick, Maryland, where we frequent, don't live there, but it's like 10 minutes from us.
00:12:10.200 They got a lot of great restaurants and they fly the pride flags over City Hall. That should not 0.94
00:12:16.300 be allowed. Okay. You should not be allowed to fly a political ideological flag. Otherwise we
00:12:22.800 can make the argument that you can literally fly the flag above City Hall saying Christ is King,
00:12:26.480 right? You're going to do that. How about it's just the American flag and symbols of America,
00:12:31.720 such as things we already know, the Gonzalez flag, the Gadsden flag, Pao Mia, things like that.
00:12:38.600 The idea of flying a flag of a foreign country, actually, I'm not all that opposed to. No, no,
00:12:43.060 no, I mean it. It must be below the American flag. And it's a symbol of a recent piece of,
00:12:47.120 I'll put it like this. The American flag, all else below it, all, all else below it.
00:12:53.960 Flying the flag of, say, Egypt should be done to represent a recent agreement, trade proposal,
00:12:59.960 or otherwise, and it should be temporary with a limit. And I respect that the point is we will 0.60
00:13:06.260 fly the flag of an ally, of someone we're going to deal with below ours, representing a cooperation,
00:13:12.400 but not a flag of a political ideology. But again, my friends, you reap what you have sown,
00:13:20.340 liberals. This is what they advocate for. This is what they have championed. Diversity and inclusion.
00:13:26.760 Well, as I and many others have warned for so long, my friends, diversity means eventually
00:13:33.340 domination.
00:13:34.680 One political group that does not agree with your worldview would take over.
00:13:37.900 So let's break it down like this. 0.96
00:13:39.660 As all of us has said, as it pertains to immigration, you affluent white female liberal 0.99
00:13:45.560 believe we should fly the pride flag over our city hall. 0.60
00:13:49.820 OK, that's only possible because the city agrees with you. 1.00
00:13:53.400 But let's say you get 30% Muslim, religious, don't like pride, not enough to change things. 0.96
00:14:00.060 So you think we have diversity. 1.00
00:14:02.220 A few years later, you get 55% Muslim.
00:14:06.360 They elect an all Muslim council to which you clap and say, see, see, we can have diversity. 1.00
00:14:11.120 And they immediately vote to ban all the things you like. 0.90
00:14:15.060 And I don't blame them.
00:14:16.680 You let them in.
00:14:17.920 This is what they will do.
00:14:19.580 And I'm not saying it's morally wrong.
00:14:21.680 I am saying political bodies always vote towards their culture and ideology.
00:14:27.660 So by all means, you choose to let these people in.
00:14:31.220 They are all going to vote. 1.00
00:14:32.700 See, what these people didn't realize is that when the migrants come in right now, 0.53
00:14:37.040 they are voting for this. 0.84
00:14:38.560 You've got a city, a bunch of liberals, and they clap and cheer and they put on hijab
00:14:42.520 and they celebrate the 10 percent Muslim minority.
00:14:44.820 And they say, see, we're diverse.
00:14:46.300 But guess what?
00:14:47.200 When that 10 percent goes to the voting booth, 0.81
00:14:49.000 they are still voting for conservative Muslim policy, for Sharia similar or Sharia literal. 0.94
00:14:55.520 The only thing is you don't see it because they're a small population. So what happens is 10% 0.82
00:15:00.400 is Islamic. The liberals are like, everything's great with diversity. Slowly over time, you get 0.98
00:15:06.060 30% Islam and still they're winning their propositions and they're winning their political 0.90
00:15:13.880 candidates. And then eventually you get a Muslim candidate and the liberals vote for him. And now 0.83
00:15:18.820 they're at 40 percent representation and they say everything's fine. But then when you get to 55 or
00:15:24.200 around there, the entire council goes and then you realize something. These people didn't change the
00:15:30.100 way they voted simply because there was more of them. They were always voting for this. But now
00:15:34.360 there's enough of them. They're winning these elections and your way of life is gone. So I guess
00:15:42.260 the question for you guys is in the comments below, how do you feel about this? I don't think
00:15:46.080 you should fly these flags on city property. I think they're correct. Are you concerned that 0.97
00:15:53.180 it's Muslims that are doing it? Well, I'll tell you what. It's a different question. 1.00
00:15:59.200 What they do next as an all Muslim city council is the next interesting question. And for the
00:16:05.220 time being, the big story is not anything that I really care about. They banned pride flags.
00:16:09.860 good, I guess. The question is, what comes next? And as we see this expansion of Islam, 0.97
00:16:16.380 what does that mean as they vote this way? I'll say it like this. Here's a question for you. 0.99
00:16:21.700 We talked about it on Timcast IRL, but it's an important question. I want you guys to comment.
00:16:24.360 I want you to answer. Let's say it's 100 years from now, and the Supreme Court has five Muslims 0.98
00:16:30.660 on it. There's nine justices, five are Muslim. A man blasphemes Allah and the Prophet. Or maybe 0.67
00:16:39.440 be just a law. He gets arrested and charged because he lives in a town that has a dominant
00:16:45.240 Muslim political faction, say Hamtram. Hamtram, is that how you say it? Okay, he gets arrested,
00:16:52.040 he gets criminally charged for blasphemy, and he files a lawsuit. And it doesn't matter what
00:16:56.020 happened, the court says, let's say the court denies it, so he appeals. He finds himself before
00:17:00.200 the Supreme Court, and they argue this is clearly protected free speech. You can say whatever you
00:17:06.680 believe? How will a majority Muslim Supreme Court rule on that question? I'll give you a few seconds
00:17:15.340 to stew and think about it and comment. And now I'm going to tell you the most likely scenario.
00:17:21.320 The question I have for you, do you believe they would uphold the conviction on blaspheming Allah?
00:17:26.320 Or do you believe they would say it is free speech to blaspheme Allah? Here's what they
00:17:32.620 would likely say. At the time of the ratification of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights,
00:17:37.980 the founding fathers did not believe blasphemy was protected, though Jefferson to a certain degree
00:17:44.000 did. Most of the founding fathers agreed that if you blasphemed, you could be and would be
00:17:50.680 criminally prosecuted. In fact, many were. And it was actually not even fully challenged until the
00:17:58.300 50s, while many blasphemy charges started to dissipate, the question asked, is it constitutional
00:18:06.140 for a jurisdiction to pass a law banning blasphemy? This court upholds. Yes, this man blasphemed Allah. 1.00
00:18:16.780 And therefore, according to the original interpretation of the of the First Amendment,
00:18:22.080 You are not, you do not have a free speech right to blaspheme.
00:18:26.320 You do not.
00:18:27.220 The founding fathers actually saw people arrested for it.
00:18:31.700 In the 1800s, it was rampant.
00:18:34.620 This court upholds the conviction, right? 1.00
00:18:39.020 Now, everything I said is true.
00:18:40.360 The founding fathers did feel that way.
00:18:41.720 But let's pause for a second.
00:18:44.000 Let's say the exact same time.
00:18:45.380 A man blasphemes Jesus Christ, son of God, ascended to heaven. 0.84
00:18:51.200 take his rightful place. He blasphemes. He's criminally charged. He's arrested. Files suit,
00:18:57.460 appeals, makes to the Supreme Court. Five to four majority Muslim court. How do they rule 0.96
00:19:03.660 on blasphemy in this case? I'll give you a few seconds. What do you think?
00:19:10.360 No, it is not criminal. You may blaspheme Jesus Christ. Why? Because the court will uphold
00:19:18.120 The law governing blasphemy in the interpretation of the Constitution was to stop people from
00:19:23.720 blaspheming Allah, the true, one true God, not your false idols. 0.71
00:19:30.560 And they would rule Jesus, while the prophet is not the God these Christians believe him
00:19:36.020 to be.
00:19:36.300 And because he is not, it's not actually blasphemy.
00:19:40.240 It's just critique of a political personality.
00:19:44.180 Now, of course, you understand what I'm saying?
00:19:45.860 because in their worldview, Jesus was just a prophet, not God, not the son of God.
00:19:52.900 Therefore, you're not blaspheming. You're just criticizing a political figure.
00:19:56.360 But Allah, that's God. You can't blaspheme. The founding father said so.
00:20:00.520 That is what happens when politics of a nature, politics in our nation shift.
00:20:06.040 And I would argue one could make the argument that they would not be wrong to say it is blasphemy
00:20:12.940 and blasphemy cannot be permitted. The issue is, if during the time of the founding fathers,
00:20:18.500 you blasphemed Allah, you would not get arrested. You literally wouldn't. They would just agree with
00:20:23.600 you. If you were in 1790, walked up to any one of the founding fathers or in town hall, started 0.95
00:20:28.920 screaming bad things about the prophet and Allah, they would all sit there and be like, yep, you're 0.79
00:20:33.120 right. That's not blasphemy. They would agree with you. They would say it is not blasphemy.
00:20:37.840 Blasphemy is when you speak ill of Yahweh, God, and Jesus Christ, or the Holy Spirit,
00:20:44.160 or whatever, because the laws reflect the morality and the beliefs of that culture.
00:20:50.620 Now, go ahead and tell me who you think is wrong.
00:20:52.720 I'm going to wrap it up there, my friends.
00:20:54.300 Smash that like button.
00:20:55.340 Share the show.
00:20:55.880 Stick around.
00:20:56.340 We've got more coming up for you tonight at 8 p.m. for TimCast IRL.
00:20:59.820 Don't miss it.
00:21:00.980 You can follow me on X and Instagram at TimCast.
00:21:03.340 And like I said, guys, subscribe to the new channel.
00:21:07.000 click the link in the description below. We're also below here and on Rumble and on YouTube as
00:21:12.420 well. Check out the episode Men Don't Need Therapy. It was really good, apparently really
00:21:16.560 good. It's got 900,000 views, a smashing hit. We did do the episode with Jason Ellis, which was
00:21:22.240 just kind of goofing off with Jason. It's only got 15k views, but I want to stress this. We put it up
00:21:26.820 at 11 p.m. on like a Wednesday to see if we can promote the show to Timcast IRL viewers. And it,
00:21:33.920 you know, did the episode a little dirty, but we're experimenting with a new format,
00:21:37.720 the new episodes. They go up Sunday evening when you're relaxing at home and you want to hear a
00:21:43.040 chill conversation, low volume, quiet, comfortable. And you know what? Put it on when you're going to
00:21:49.960 bed. That's my recommendation. And tell your friends. We're aiming for one of those phony
00:21:53.880 ASMRs, as they call it. It's not really. But the show itself is lower volume, a bit lower energy,
00:22:00.220 but still interesting. It's not like us yelling and goofing off and laughing like IRL.
00:22:04.660 Check it out, subscribe, share the show. Thanks for hanging out,
00:22:07.360 and we'll see you all tonight for Timcast IRL.
