00:00:36.400 I tweet out a phone number, thousands of people try to call,

00:00:42.860 I never know what's going to happen.

00:00:58.720 Beautiful Anonymous.
00:01:00.000 I talked to a fireman once.
00:01:01.400 This is one of the reasons it freaked me out.
00:01:02.920 And he was telling me, he goes, dude, one day,
00:01:05.600 he goes, it's just going to be the right wind,
00:01:07.400 and fire's going to start in the right place,
00:01:09.400 and it's going to burn through L.A. all the way to the ocean,
00:01:12.220 and there's not a fucking thing we can do about it.
00:01:14.400 I go, really?
00:01:15.700 He goes, yeah.
00:01:16.560 We just get lucky.
00:01:18.400 He goes, we get lucky with the wind.
00:01:20.000 He goes, but if the wind hits the wrong way,
00:01:21.820 it's just going to burn straight through L.A.,
00:01:23.540 and there's not going to be a thing we can do about it.
00:01:25.200 Because these fires are so big, dude.
00:01:27.660 You're talking about like thousands of acres that are burning simultaneously with like 40-mile-an-hour winds.
00:01:34.360 And the wind's just blowing embers through the air,
00:01:36.740 and those embers are landing on roofs,
00:01:38.460 and those houses are going up, and they're landing on bushes,
00:01:40.980 and those bushes are going up, and everything's dry.
00:01:43.740 And once it happens, it happens in a way where it's so spread out that there's nothing they can do.
00:01:49.120 There's nothing they can do.
00:01:49.660 Yeah, you just have to evacuate, right?
00:01:50.880 As I'm sure most of you are aware,
00:01:54.040 L.A. County is currently dealing with some of the worst wildfires we have ever seen in this country.
00:01:59.960 The Santa Ana winds, sometimes upwards of 100 miles an hour,
00:02:03.640 low humidity and dry vegetation has resulted in this massive disaster.
00:02:08.480 We've seen around 100,000-plus evacuations and five reported deaths,
00:02:12.820 and it's expected to get worse.
00:02:14.920 We are in bumper-to-bumper traffic right now as hundreds of people try to get out.

00:02:36.260 Smoke from the growing fire darkening the skies.
00:02:39.300 This man breaking down, desperate to reach his dogs.

00:03:05.020 Beloved Dr. Steve Guttenberg among those stepping up to help his neighbors.
00:03:08.400 When things like this occur, you really realize how vulnerable you are and how important community is.
00:03:16.360 Scenes of unbelievable devastation and loss as the relentless winds fueling these fires show no signs of letting up.
00:03:23.360 While certainly environmental factors are playing a huge role, we cannot ignore the human factor.
00:03:30.300 Donald Trump recently called for the resignation of Gavin Newsom, the governor,
00:03:33.640 and many people are criticizing local leadership, including the mayor, Karen Bass,
00:03:37.880 because they have failed tremendously to mitigate these issues and prepare for this disaster.
00:03:43.660 What in the world?
00:03:45.560 They don't, the firemen don't have hoses, so they're like literally using purses, women's handbags,
00:03:52.560 filling up women's handbags to put out fires.
00:03:56.940 Look at this.
00:03:58.080 What in the world?
00:04:01.180 LAFD fire department using women's handbags to put out fires.
00:04:05.800 Right now, the primary fires raging through LA are the Palisades Fire, the Eaton Fire, the Hearst Fire,
00:04:12.380 and the newly ignited Woodley Fire.
00:04:14.820 This fire, which began near the affluent Pacific Palisades neighborhood, has grown to over 15,800 acres.
00:04:20.640 It has destroyed more than 1,000 structures, including homes and landmarks,
00:04:24.360 and has forced at least 30,000 people to evacuate.
00:04:27.340 The fire spread rapidly due to the hurricane-strength winds, which have not abated,
00:04:32.720 making containment efforts challenging.
00:04:35.260 Near Pasadena, the Eaton Fire has been particularly deadly, with at least two fatalities reported.
00:04:41.300 By Wednesday morning, it consumed over 10,600 acres, doubling in size overnight due to strong winds.
00:04:47.780 This fire has led to the evacuation of over 52,000 residents and has damaged or destroyed numerous structures,
00:04:55.420 including a McDonald's and the Pasadena Jewish Temple and Center.
00:04:59.260 Located in the San Fernando Valley, we have the Hearst Fire.
00:05:02.260 This fire has also seen significant growth.
00:05:04.820 Although specific acreage affected by January 8th was not detailed,
00:05:08.280 it contributed to the overall strain on firefighting resources.
00:05:11.740 And then we have the Woodley Fire, a newer blaze in the Sepulveda Basin area.
00:05:15.960 The fire has grown to 75 acres by Wednesday, adding to the emergency response.
00:05:21.240 Late last night, it spread to the Hollywood Hills.
00:05:24.620 As I already stated, at least five people so far are reported as having lost their lives,
00:05:29.500 and over 100,000 have evacuated.
00:05:31.580 But there is still some shocking footage indicating it's going to get worse.
00:05:35.120 In one video from the Weather Channel, which I don't think you want to see,
00:05:39.440 it may be depicting the charred remains of an individual who lost their life.
00:05:43.260 This is an unmitigated disaster.
00:05:45.960 Right now, over 1,100 structures and counting have been destroyed across L.A. County,
00:05:52.080 including homes, businesses, and cultural landmarks.
00:05:55.020 The Palisades Fire alone has seen significant devastation in one of the wealthiest neighborhoods
00:05:58.900 of L.A., affecting even the grounds of the Getty Villa Museum.
00:06:03.020 But the structures there remain safe.
00:06:05.160 More than 1.5 million customers were without power due to the fires,
00:06:09.000 and the preventative measures like power shutoffs by Southern California Edison.
00:06:13.140 This has compounded the crisis, affecting communications and emergency responses.
00:06:18.380 Right now, fire departments across California have been called in to support local crews.
00:06:22.140 7,500 firefighters are battling the blazes.
00:06:25.140 However, the resources are stretched thin, with some firefighters working up to 48-hour shifts.
00:06:30.080 The inability to use aircraft due to high winds has further complicated containment.
00:06:33.920 Now, the question is, is this just environmental catastrophe?
00:06:39.200 As we heard from Joe Rogan, was it just, you know, sooner or later,
00:06:42.680 these winds are going to ignite the entirety of L.A.?
00:06:45.580 Or could this have been prevented?
00:06:48.440 I raise you, my friends, that this could have been mitigated.
00:06:52.040 But the political ideology and the unwillingness to do what needed to be done
00:06:56.780 is resulting in this fire being substantially worse than it should have been.

00:07:30.360 It shouldn't have been at all.
00:07:32.020 While we are hearing that they don't have enough firefighters or resources,
00:07:36.480 we can cite this story.
00:07:38.040 L.A. County fired 113 L.A. firefighters
00:07:41.460 because they would not comply with the vaccine mandate.
00:07:45.260 Or maybe it's because L.A. Mayor Karen Bass
00:07:47.600 cut $17.6 million of fire department funding
00:07:52.000 and gave $28 million to illegal immigrants.
00:07:56.100 Or how about it's because L.A. gave surplus supplies to Ukraine.
00:08:01.300 But don't worry, folks.
00:08:02.920 California may be burning, but rest assured,
00:08:05.500 we may be factually incorrect, but we are morally right.
00:08:10.160 I think that's what AOC said, right?
00:08:12.080 Because California prioritized diversity, equity,
00:08:15.140 and inclusion over substance.
00:08:17.940 The L.A. mayor prioritized diversity in hiring firefighters.
00:08:22.720 They were concerned.
00:08:24.120 Too many of their firefighters were white.
00:08:26.540 Well, I got news for you, California.
00:08:29.860 The majority of people in this country are white.
00:08:32.260 It's not a problem if you are hiring people
00:08:35.180 and some of them happen to be white.
00:08:36.980 Perhaps now you really would be doing better off
00:08:40.460 if you just hired the people who want to do the job.
00:08:44.180 Apparently, she can't even read a teleprompter properly.
00:08:47.560 But hey, you get what you vote for.
00:08:49.740 Now, all jokes aside, diversity, equity, and inclusion,
00:08:53.680 these policies that prioritize an ideology over merit
00:08:57.380 have real-world consequences.
00:09:00.040 From NPR, June 5th, 2023,
00:09:03.240 firefighting is mostly white and male.
00:09:05.540 A California program aims to change that.
00:09:08.020 Fire departments have tried to diversify their ranks for years
00:09:11.040 with only modest success.
00:09:13.380 The profession remains overwhelmingly white and male.
00:09:16.100 One California training program is trying to change that.
00:09:18.900 As Matt Walsh accurately pointed out,
00:09:20.980 quote,
00:09:21.620 Los Angeles deliberately set out to exclude white men
00:09:24.420 from becoming firefighters,
00:09:25.760 and now they don't have enough firefighters
00:09:27.520 to prevent their city from burning to the ground.
00:09:30.380 DEI is a cancer that destroys everything it touches.
00:09:33.960 DEI forgets that men are the exact people
00:09:37.700 who actually want to and are capable of doing the job.
00:09:41.520 Well, bless your hearts, wokeness.
00:09:43.800 This is a contributing factor to why we are struggling.
00:09:46.580 As they have explicitly stated now,
00:09:48.980 they do not have enough firefighters
00:09:50.800 to deal with this problem.
00:09:53.040 But just when you thought
00:09:54.160 the lack of manpower was the real problem,
00:09:56.560 don't worry,
00:09:57.440 there isn't any water.
00:09:58.980 So maybe the woke can say,
00:10:02.520 don't look at us.
00:10:03.620 We don't have any water anyway.
00:10:05.700 In areas like Pacific Palisades,
00:10:07.440 fire hydrants are running dry,
00:10:09.240 severely hampering firefighting capabilities.
00:10:11.740 The L.A. Department of Water and Power
00:10:13.120 noted a demand four times normal,
00:10:15.520 leading to system pressure issues.
00:10:18.100 But why is there no water?
00:10:20.660 Now, Donald Trump has warned
00:10:21.820 that they could be diverting water
00:10:23.880 from Northern California into the South.
00:10:26.120 And there's this issue with the Delta smelt,
00:10:28.200 this little tiny fish.
00:10:29.820 And because of the smelt,
00:10:30.780 they won't do it.
00:10:31.860 Now, it's a bit more complicated than that.
00:10:33.920 There's water being allocated to farming.
00:10:35.880 There's concerns that if they reduce
00:10:37.420 the water pressure into the Delta,
00:10:39.200 ocean water will flood in,
00:10:40.540 turning what is freshwater
00:10:41.600 into brackish or saltwater.
00:10:43.440 But that's not even the issue.
00:10:45.380 Certainly, it plays a role,
00:10:46.660 but it's worse than that.
00:10:47.960 The lack of new water storage projects,
00:10:50.360 such as reservoirs,
00:10:51.560 have been highlighted by critics.
00:10:53.280 This impacts firefighting capabilities,
00:10:55.100 especially when fire hydrants
00:10:56.280 run dry during crises.
00:10:58.200 Democrats have been having water policy debates
00:11:00.640 in California for years.
00:11:02.900 Bernie and the left jumped immediately
00:11:04.520 on the climate change narrative wagon.
00:11:06.720 And as Anna Kasparian points out,
00:11:08.600 of all people,
00:11:09.820 Democrats are in charge.
00:11:11.660 There's no passing the buck anymore.
00:11:13.660 They had a chance to deal with this.
00:11:15.440 They didn't fill their reservoirs.
00:11:17.020 They did not hire enough firefighters.
00:11:19.540 They didn't figure out
00:11:20.660 how to get water into Southern California.
00:11:23.120 This is an issue of leadership.
00:11:25.520 But of course,
00:11:27.000 many on the left
00:11:27.820 are blaming climate change.
00:11:30.020 Bernie and other leftists
00:11:31.140 have jumped immediately
00:11:32.020 on the climate change narrative wagon.
00:11:34.700 Sorry, Bernie.
00:11:35.320 It's not climate change.
00:11:36.720 Maybe his mind goes right to Trump
00:11:38.220 because six years ago,
00:11:39.500 Trump called out California leadership
00:11:40.880 for their failure
00:11:41.420 to protect Californians
00:11:42.380 from fires,
00:11:43.420 saying,
00:11:43.720 quote,
00:11:43.860 And how can we forget
00:12:04.800 the photo of Donald Trump
00:12:06.520 and Gavin Newsom
00:12:07.380 standing in a forest
00:12:08.980 as Trump criticized the state
00:12:10.980 and said,
00:12:11.540 you've got to manage this better.
00:12:13.860 It was preventable,
00:12:15.680 but the leadership
00:12:16.440 is just doing nothing.
00:12:18.460 The reality is
00:12:19.160 democratic policies,
00:12:20.720 which simply prioritize
00:12:21.740 environmental conservation
00:12:22.940 over aggressive forest management practices,
00:12:25.360 like controlled burns,
00:12:26.780 have contributed to a buildup
00:12:28.020 of flammable material.
00:12:29.620 Critics like Trump
00:12:30.260 have vocalized his view,
00:12:31.560 accusing Newsom
00:12:32.260 of focusing on protecting species
00:12:33.760 like the Delta smelt
00:12:34.820 over human safety,
00:12:36.480 which they argue
00:12:37.260 diverts necessary water resources
00:12:39.140 and limits land management practices.
00:12:42.020 So as we all sit here,
00:12:44.340 terrified that loved ones
00:12:45.780 may lose their lives,
00:12:47.640 that friends, family,
00:12:48.800 and even some of you watching
00:12:49.860 may have lost your homes,
00:12:52.100 they're blaming climate change.
00:12:54.700 They're refusing
00:12:55.700 to accept responsibility
00:12:56.980 for the people they vote for
00:12:58.700 and the policies they enact
00:13:00.300 and the foundations
00:13:01.620 that they fund.
00:13:04.000 In 2007,
00:13:05.960 the Sierra Club sued
00:13:07.120 the U.S. Forest Service
00:13:08.340 to block categorical exclusions
00:13:10.500 for controlled burns
00:13:11.820 under NEPA,
00:13:13.500 claiming the process
00:13:14.280 needed a 3.5-year
00:13:16.080 EIS review.
00:13:18.200 Under Newsom's leadership,
00:13:19.420 there's been insufficient action
00:13:20.780 on forest management.
00:13:22.080 Reports and investigations,
00:13:23.560 notably one by
00:13:24.420 Capital Public Radio
00:13:25.440 in 2021,
00:13:26.540 have pointed out
00:13:27.160 that Newsom significantly
00:13:28.220 overstated the amount
00:13:29.300 of fire prevention work done,
00:13:31.160 claiming 90,000 acres
00:13:32.460 treated
00:13:32.880 when the actual figure
00:13:34.260 was around 11,399.
00:13:37.040 This discrepancy suggests
00:13:39.000 that the state
00:13:39.920 might not have been
00:13:40.900 as proactive
00:13:41.560 as claimed
00:13:42.140 in reducing wildfire fuel
00:13:43.960 through prescribed burns
00:13:45.380 or clearing underbrush,
00:13:46.820 which could exacerbate
00:13:48.140 fire conditions.
00:13:48.920 It's clear
00:13:49.820 the leadership
00:13:51.060 in the state
00:13:51.880 is not doing enough
00:13:53.320 to mitigate these problems.
00:13:55.200 They are not taking
00:13:56.700 our infrastructure seriously.
00:13:59.000 They are putting
00:13:59.860 ideology
00:14:00.900 above
00:14:01.780 merit.
00:14:02.720 They're not hiring
00:14:03.800 the right people.
00:14:05.440 And then
00:14:05.780 when we ask,
00:14:07.420 hey,
00:14:08.120 can you deal with this?
00:14:09.480 They have lied
00:14:10.540 about the extent
00:14:11.520 of their mitigation practices.
00:14:13.320 Now,
00:14:13.920 while we don't currently
00:14:14.980 know exactly
00:14:15.820 what is causing
00:14:17.040 these fires,
00:14:18.120 it may just be
00:14:19.000 that fires start.
00:14:20.400 Some people have suggested
00:14:21.380 that power lines
00:14:22.220 are sparking.
00:14:23.060 Someone may have flicked
00:14:23.720 a cigarette.
00:14:24.360 We don't know for sure.
00:14:25.780 We're seeing crazy videos
00:14:26.920 where gas lines
00:14:27.760 are still on
00:14:28.840 and you can see
00:14:30.040 a gas line
00:14:30.700 with fire bursting
00:14:31.760 from it.
00:14:33.240 Some suggest
00:14:34.000 this may be the result
00:14:35.620 of homelessness.
00:14:38.060 Homeless individuals
00:14:38.920 starting fires
00:14:40.020 to keep themselves warm.
00:14:41.820 Well,
00:14:42.280 it is a very common practice
00:14:43.980 and often these fires
00:14:45.600 can grow out of control.
00:14:48.240 According to various reports,
00:14:49.920 fires related to homelessness
00:14:51.200 have significantly
00:14:51.900 increased in number.
00:14:53.400 In some areas of L.A.,
00:14:54.460 like downtown,
00:14:55.500 it's claimed that
00:14:56.100 80% of fires
00:14:57.420 are associated
00:14:58.240 with homeless encampments,
00:14:59.820 though these stats
00:15:00.660 can vary
00:15:01.300 and are often based
00:15:02.360 on fire department data
00:15:03.240 or media reports
00:15:04.040 rather than
00:15:04.880 comprehensive studies.
00:15:06.400 There's a contentious debate
00:15:07.340 regarding the role
00:15:08.120 of the homeless
00:15:08.780 in wildfires.
00:15:10.160 Some political figures
00:15:11.040 and public sentiment
00:15:11.820 on the platform like X
00:15:12.840 have called
00:15:13.520 for stricter enforcement
00:15:14.740 against encampments
00:15:15.900 in high-risk fire zones
00:15:16.980 or for relocating them
00:15:19.220 to safer areas.
00:15:21.020 However,
00:15:21.840 this is complicated
00:15:22.900 by legal rulings
00:15:24.140 like Martin v.
00:15:25.720 City of Boise,
00:15:26.540 which limits the ability
00:15:27.900 of cities
00:15:28.260 to criminalize
00:15:28.920 homelessness
00:15:29.420 without providing
00:15:30.700 alternative shelter.
00:15:32.420 In response to fires
00:15:33.300 linked to encampments,
00:15:34.740 there have been calls
00:15:35.340 for better outreach,
00:15:36.400 education on fire safety
00:15:37.440 among the homeless population
00:15:38.480 and more proactive measures
00:15:40.220 by the city
00:15:40.760 to clear encampments
00:15:41.880 in high-risk areas.
00:15:43.160 However,
00:15:43.480 implementing these measures
00:15:44.560 while respecting
00:15:45.640 the rights and needs
00:15:46.620 of the homeless population
00:15:47.660 remain a complex issue.
00:15:49.440 And that's the thing
00:15:49.840 about L.A.
00:15:50.540 They call it
00:15:51.500 the homeless capital
00:15:52.380 of the developed world.
00:15:53.320 When you see video
00:15:54.880 after video
00:15:55.660 of homeless people
00:15:56.660 starting fires,
00:15:57.840 one has to wonder,
00:15:59.740 are the problems
00:16:00.540 of California
00:16:01.320 exacerbated by their
00:16:02.460 inability to care for
00:16:03.900 and adequately deal
00:16:05.680 with a massive
00:16:07.040 and escalating
00:16:07.740 homeless crisis?
00:16:09.160 How is it that they
00:16:09.940 spend over a billion
00:16:11.040 dollars every year
00:16:12.220 and they can't
00:16:13.200 solve this problem?
00:16:14.540 Now,
00:16:15.160 homelessness in L.A.,
00:16:16.560 it's exacerbated
00:16:17.280 by high living costs,
00:16:18.460 mental health issues,
00:16:19.220 and inadequate
00:16:20.300 housing solutions.
00:16:21.520 It's playing into
00:16:22.300 a narrative around wildfires
00:16:23.720 because many of these
00:16:24.600 people do start fires
00:16:25.800 and it happens in cities
00:16:27.320 all across the country.
00:16:28.900 It underscores the need
00:16:30.080 for comprehensive solutions
00:16:31.420 to homelessness
00:16:32.020 that could also
00:16:33.000 mitigate fire risk.
00:16:34.740 Now,
00:16:34.920 you may be saying to yourself,
00:16:36.240 I don't buy it, Tim.
00:16:37.680 You're wrong.
00:16:38.880 I'm not going to blame
00:16:39.840 Democrat leadership.
00:16:41.280 You're grifting.
00:16:42.400 You're making it
00:16:43.060 a partisan issue.
00:16:44.500 Yeah?
00:16:45.060 Well,
00:16:45.440 how about this?
00:16:46.900 Insurance companies
00:16:47.780 have pulled out.
00:16:49.240 Many of the homes
00:16:50.040 in the Palisades
00:16:50.680 has their fire coverage
00:16:51.800 removed only months
00:16:53.620 to even a few weeks ago.
00:16:55.360 In one report
00:16:56.300 from Fox News,
00:16:57.160 a woman said
00:16:57.700 a couple weeks ago
00:16:58.780 our fire insurance
00:16:59.780 was pulled from our home.
00:17:01.340 How is that possible?
00:17:03.700 Well,
00:17:04.280 it's actually quite simple.
00:17:06.020 It's not a conspiracy.
00:17:07.600 The insurance companies
00:17:08.420 didn't go to the government
00:17:09.520 or go to their shareholders
00:17:11.720 and say
00:17:12.260 there's going to be
00:17:13.480 a wildfire.
00:17:14.620 No space lasers
00:17:16.060 ignited the brush.
00:17:17.960 Well,
00:17:18.120 I mean,
00:17:18.420 maybe,
00:17:18.720 but probably not.
00:17:20.700 No,
00:17:20.920 the reality is
00:17:21.760 as Joe Rogan
00:17:23.540 pointed out
00:17:24.260 as we opened
00:17:25.240 this segment,
00:17:26.440 firefighters
00:17:26.880 have been warning
00:17:28.180 that these fires
00:17:29.760 are going to happen.
00:17:31.580 The insurance companies
00:17:33.100 did a cost-benefit analysis
00:17:34.900 and in order
00:17:36.440 to avoid
00:17:37.100 financial ruin,
00:17:38.040 they said
00:17:38.600 we can no longer
00:17:39.860 provide coverage
00:17:40.920 in these areas.
00:17:42.100 It wasn't so much
00:17:43.960 that there was
00:17:44.180 a grand conspiracy.
00:17:45.600 No.
00:17:46.320 It was just that
00:17:47.200 to anyone
00:17:47.720 paying attention,
00:17:49.580 this was inevitable.
00:17:51.660 So,
00:17:52.220 tell me again
00:17:53.080 you don't believe me
00:17:54.340 when I show you
00:17:55.040 all the facts
00:17:55.600 and say
00:17:56.060 this was a crisis
00:17:57.640 brought on
00:17:58.540 by the state.
00:18:00.120 Don't get me wrong,
00:18:00.840 wildfires happen.
00:18:03.200 It's a part of nature.
00:18:04.980 But we as human beings
00:18:06.240 have the ability
00:18:07.000 to,
00:18:08.180 I don't know,
00:18:08.920 rake,
00:18:09.760 underbrush,
00:18:11.000 control burns.
00:18:12.220 We can do
00:18:13.020 all of these things.
00:18:14.320 We can hire
00:18:15.000 the firefighters.
00:18:16.280 We can allocate
00:18:17.040 the resources
00:18:17.740 but they did not do it.
00:18:19.680 So,
00:18:20.160 it became simple.
00:18:21.660 The insurance companies
00:18:22.620 looked at the math
00:18:24.240 and said
00:18:24.660 the state
00:18:25.920 is inadequately prepared.
00:18:27.800 The fires
00:18:28.360 will rage
00:18:29.120 and will wipe out
00:18:30.120 all of these homes
00:18:31.000 and we can't afford
00:18:32.640 to pay this out.
00:18:34.320 And so they didn't.
00:18:35.800 And that's it right there.
00:18:37.660 That's all the proof
00:18:38.500 you needed.
00:18:39.780 They knew it was coming.
00:18:41.800 Now hold on.
00:18:43.200 Let's ask a question again.
00:18:44.880 You may be saying
00:18:45.500 well maybe
00:18:46.100 it's climate change,
00:18:47.500 right?
00:18:47.940 The insurance companies
00:18:48.900 were looking at the
00:18:49.720 escalation of
00:18:50.780 strange weather patterns
00:18:51.960 and so they ultimately
00:18:52.880 decided we can't
00:18:53.600 insure anymore
00:18:53.980 because of climate change.
00:18:56.700 Well,
00:18:57.420 they provided coverage
00:18:58.880 to these homes
00:18:59.700 in areas with wildfires.
00:19:01.540 They provide coverage
00:19:02.720 to homes in areas
00:19:03.820 prone to hurricanes.
00:19:05.100 They usually just
00:19:06.060 raise the rates.
00:19:07.600 So what happened
00:19:08.240 this time
00:19:08.740 that they didn't just
00:19:09.480 I don't know
00:19:10.060 raise the rates.
00:19:11.540 Could it have been
00:19:12.160 Democrat policies
00:19:13.780 requiring high risk
00:19:15.060 insurance with
00:19:15.880 caps on premiums?
00:19:17.920 Could it have been
00:19:19.000 that
00:19:19.700 they know
00:19:21.140 the state
00:19:22.060 was mismanaging this
00:19:23.280 and they couldn't
00:19:24.520 financially handle it?
00:19:26.360 So there it is
00:19:27.220 my friends.
00:19:28.180 That's at least
00:19:28.880 the argument
00:19:29.340 and I think
00:19:29.720 it's plain as day.
00:19:30.360 This is why
00:19:31.460 Donald Trump
00:19:31.960 calls for the
00:19:32.520 resignation
00:19:32.860 of Gavin Newsom.
00:19:34.520 This is why
00:19:35.300 what we are seeing
00:19:35.880 in California
00:19:36.440 was avoidable.
00:19:37.760 I hope you all
00:19:38.700 learn from this.
00:19:40.480 We want people
00:19:41.100 to be safe
00:19:41.740 and I hope they are.
00:19:43.700 But for now
00:19:44.140 the only thing
00:19:44.600 we can do
00:19:45.020 is pray
00:19:46.460 keep people
00:19:47.740 in our thoughts
00:19:48.360 hope
00:19:49.260 we can donate
00:19:50.360 we can volunteer
00:19:51.100 where need be
00:19:51.780 just hopefully
00:19:53.240 the death toll
00:19:54.820 remains minimal
00:19:55.620 and we figure
00:19:57.740 this one out.
00:19:58.920 But I got to tell you
00:19:59.640 so long as our
00:20:00.260 leadership functions
00:20:00.980 this way
00:20:01.440 expect more disasters
00:20:02.900 like this.
00:20:04.340 I'll wrap it up there.
