00:00:27.140 California held its jungle primary yesterday, and the results are in.
00:00:33.080 Sort of.
00:00:34.700 We are still waiting on millions of views.
00:00:37.380 They're saying it will take weeks to get us the actual confirmed results,
00:00:41.740 so we don't know exactly who won just yet, but we do have preliminary data.
00:00:46.860 A lot of people are pissed off because California can't seem to give us
00:00:50.260 the definitive answer on Election Day.
00:00:53.780 Some have suggested it's because they're cheating, perhaps.
00:00:56.420 but we got the results that we needed. The performance of the Republicans will reflect
00:01:00.460 on the performance of the Republicans this midterm. And most importantly, Republicans have done so
00:01:06.820 smashingly well that the response we are getting from the progressives is, I don't know what's the
00:01:13.180 right word. They're apoplectic and losing their minds. Furious that Steve Hilton and Spencer
00:01:21.340 Pratt have done so massively well. So my friends, I cannot tell you exactly who will win. They're
00:01:29.080 projecting that Karen Bass as mayor of L.A. will advance to the general, the runoff election.
00:01:34.880 Spencer Pratt is in a close second and Nithya Raman is pretty far behind. So I kind of feel
00:01:41.520 like it's fair to say it's going to be Spencer Pratt versus Karen Bass. And she's freaking out.
00:01:45.600 But then, of course, Steve Hilton is in first place in the governor's race.
00:01:50.280 and the response for progressives is shock, anger, denial. Well, the reality is Hilton still
00:01:58.420 is an uphill battle because Democrats are going to coalesce around Becerra. And the same thing
00:02:03.000 is true with Karen Bass and Spencer Pratt. What we are seeing is shocking in L.A. What is it like
00:02:09.180 20, 30 percent Republican? If that I've heard estimates that L.A. is actually only like 10
00:02:15.560 percent Republican. Yet somehow Spencer Pratt is in second place. Steve Hilton in a state that is
00:02:23.080 two to one Democrat has one point four million votes. First place. When you add up the Democrat
00:02:29.620 votes, what do you get? It's like 6040. And that's pretty dang good. It should be 7030.
00:02:36.500 But the Republicans are outperforming. They're overperforming, which is a major indication of
00:02:42.880 massive success coming up in the midterms. Now, my friends, let me show you the response
00:02:47.120 from the progressives, because that's what it's really about, right? What this means for the
00:02:52.260 Democratic Party in this country. And I will say a few things. I believe we are still trending
00:02:56.920 towards a very serious conflict between left and the right, be that as it currently is a civil
00:03:02.620 strife period. Maybe it gets resolved. Maybe there's tremendous victories for the right.
00:03:07.440 It looks like the left is in serious trouble.
00:03:11.400 Seriously.
00:03:12.440 Well, they're not raising money for the Democratic Party anymore.
00:03:15.260 They're funding activism and insurgency, and the Republicans are going for institutional
00:03:19.480 power.
00:03:20.420 And institutional power is where all the guns are.
00:03:22.740 That being said, the left can be a bit, what's the right word?
00:03:29.440 They can engage in subterfuge.
00:03:31.100 They can be a bit surreptitious.
00:03:32.560 They will find means to acquire power outside of the institutions.
00:03:36.200 And this is what I have feared for some time after seeing the funding numbers.
00:03:41.000 We are heading into a midterm in November.
00:03:42.880 Primary season is now.
00:03:44.040 We are witnessing the results.
00:03:45.900 What we should be seeing is a Democrat blue wave.
00:03:50.420 Historically, the opposition party to the president takes the midterms.
00:03:55.140 But with the procedural victories over redistricting, now Alabama has been cleared by the Supreme
00:04:00.480 Court.
00:04:00.800 They said, you can't block this.
00:04:02.300 We have ruled.
00:04:03.700 Republicans have the advantage, and that's kind of shocking because they should not.
00:04:09.240 Democrat favorability is at a historic low.
00:04:12.220 Not only should Democrats have the polling advantage, they should have the party favorability
00:04:16.920 advantage, meaning individual congressional seats and the generic congressional ballot.
00:04:21.800 These polls should favor Democrats.
00:04:23.420 They don't.
00:04:24.420 Or if they do, it's by thin margins.
00:04:27.000 So, of course, you got Hassan Piker, you got a bunch of other prominent libs
00:04:31.640 crashing out saying, how can this be possible? How can the Republicans be doing so well in the
00:04:37.600 most prominent Democrat state? Let's get into it, my friends, and show you these comments and play
00:04:44.380 these videos. We'll start with our friend Hassan. Before we do, head over to TimCast.com and join
00:04:49.740 our TimCast community, tens of thousands of people. They hang out every single day. Do not sit idly by
00:04:57.040 as the world changes around you and you get left behind.
00:05:00.920 Community is the most important thing for humanity,
00:05:04.200 and we used to have it.
00:05:05.700 Every week, people would gather at churches.
00:05:08.780 Older folks with kids, they'd still meet up,
00:05:10.840 they'd still talk, they'd still share their ideas,
00:05:13.140 but that's been shattered.
00:05:15.140 As the internet has expanded and taken community from us,
00:05:18.140 we must bring it back.
00:05:20.300 The only way to change the world is to come together
00:05:22.300 and work together.
00:05:23.840 We've got morning shows, afternoon shows, nightly shows,
00:05:26.460 all put together by our Discord community.
00:05:28.680 We got special members-only content.
00:05:30.980 You can call in to TimCast IRL,
00:05:33.240 and as a member, you make this show
00:05:35.260 and the work I do possible.
00:05:36.980 We cannot do it without you,
00:05:38.360 so please don't just let the world pass you by.
00:05:42.060 Join us at TimCast.com.
00:05:43.940 Make some friends.
00:05:45.320 Let's get it going, baby.
00:05:47.120 We got this clip.
00:05:48.740 Hassan Piker crashing out
00:05:50.720 as he looks at the results
00:05:52.720 of the CA primary election.
00:05:55.260 But wait, there's more. We got some clips and comments for you to show and talk about where
00:05:59.400 we're currently headed in this country. Oh, my God. It is so black pilling to see. Oh,
00:06:03.840 my God. Spencer Pratt cleaning up. Oh, my God. If I see 40 in early numbers, I will probably I
00:06:10.320 will Brian Killme. I'm Brian Killme. If 40 percent early voters or not, if 40 if I see 40 percent
00:06:17.080 for Spencer Pratt at any point, I might just die. I might just combust. The real black pill that I
00:06:22.140 received was this okay 28 for spencer pratt early on black pill it's just it's fucked now that
00:06:31.520 there's a republican at the top of the ticket they're going to come out in fucking high ass
00:06:34.980 numbers spencer pratt now is a better opportunity the the the stupid fucking uh 870 year old that
00:06:42.940 like signaled to get the republican into the top two in the runoffs might actually lose their
00:06:48.000 fucking seat now. Hassan is making an apt point. He is correct. Now, he's pissed about it. I'm
00:06:54.360 excited about it. What he's saying is that because Steve Hilton is the top of the ticket,
00:06:59.420 Republicans in California are going to get all riled up like, holy crap, we might actually win.
00:07:04.800 The important thing to understand about California is they actually have a very
00:07:07.860 large Republican population. But these Republicans tend not to vote because it's two to one,
00:07:13.340 Democrat to Republican. So a lot of these guys say, what's the point of voting? We're going to
00:07:18.240 get crushed by Democrats. The truth is, if every single Republican in the state of California
00:07:23.500 voted for the Republican candidate, the Republicans would win everything, but they never do.
00:07:29.800 You know, there's this old story. And apparently it goes on like this. I don't know. You guys can
00:07:35.160 look it up. It's maybe it's apocryphal. A guy goes to a circus and he sees an elephant, this big
00:07:39.860 elephant. And there's a rope around its big old elephant foot tied to this tiny little wooden peg
00:07:46.740 in the ground. And the elephant will not try to break free. It just stays in the confines of the
00:07:52.060 rope. And the man asks the circus keeper, the elephant tamer, whatever you call it. And he's
00:07:58.700 like, I'm confused by this little rope that you have tied to this elephant. Certainly you could
00:08:03.880 just rip that out and walk away. And he says, well, they don't. And they won't try. And the
00:08:09.480 man asks him, but why won't the elephant try to escape? Certainly they don't want to be here.
00:08:15.960 The man says, when they were babies, we tied them to the stake and they could not pull it out
00:08:21.240 because they were too small. Throughout their whole life, they have come to believe it is
00:08:26.060 impossible to free themselves from the small wooden stake. Now, as large bull elephants,
00:08:31.820 they don't bother trying. And that's a lesson for all of you, especially about California.
00:08:36.940 And that's why I say, Hassan Piker, you are correct.
00:08:41.160 Clip that one.
00:08:42.140 Now, he's pissed about it, like I said, but he makes a great point.
00:08:45.180 Because it's going to draw turnout.
00:08:47.080 Yep.
00:08:48.500 It's all down ballot from there.
00:08:50.820 The night started off incredible with a massive W and is ending with disastrous outcomes for my state.
00:08:59.600 Yo.
00:09:00.220 I really, really, really did not want Steve Hilton to be in the top.
00:09:03.940 Of course he was going to, bro.
00:09:05.200 Republican to be at the top in the top two runoff because it's going to it's going to do tremendous numbers for a Republican turnout and it's going to have down ballot consequences, which is going to fuck the redistricting efforts.
00:09:20.260 Indeed. In California's six. Let me pull this one.
00:09:23.660 C.A. six primary. I believe the Democrats are on the verge of getting shut out.
00:09:28.900 Let me let me show you the result. Oh, never mind.
00:09:31.120 The Democrats got shut out. Check this out.
00:09:34.040 Hassan is correct.
00:09:35.440 Now, again, I want to stress when he's pointing out the down ballot issues, he's right.
00:09:41.540 California six currently has an independent incumbent, which, you know, is basically Democrat,
00:09:46.180 right?
00:09:47.160 Take a look at this.
00:09:48.100 The GOP and the independent have just taken the top two slots, and this means the Democrat
00:09:54.360 is out.
00:09:56.080 This is what he's talking about, down ballot consequences.
00:09:58.880 The Republican.
00:09:59.880 Now, look, I think many of these Democrat voters will probably end up voting for
00:10:03.100 Kevin Kiley for the incumbent. But if Republicans come out in force now that they're seeing Steve
00:10:09.840 Hilton at the top of the ticket, they come in and they vote Hilton Republican all the way down
00:10:15.220 for those in Los Angeles. This could mean Spencer Pratt actually takes it. I'll show you the
00:10:22.540 numbers. But first, oh, boy, not this. That was the that's a different clip from our Democrats.
00:10:28.060 We'll get to that one. We've got this from r slash Democrats. California governor primary results
00:10:34.640 twenty twenty six. Top comment. There's an eleven percent chance Trump tweets about Hilton winning
00:10:41.340 the governorship in California. And if he does, it's 50 50 dimensions. He also won California
00:10:45.420 three times. I don't know. I need to be honest. Sure. It sounds like it could be Trump. But here
00:10:51.400 we go. Oh, this one gets me all giddy. Look at this. How is Hilton doing so well? Are we going
00:10:59.220 to have a MAGA hack as California's next governor? I won't be able to handle that.
00:11:04.600 He'll destroy everything that makes the state a sanctuary from MAGA fascism.
00:11:11.100 There were two Republican candidates. There were at least six Democrat candidates. The vote was
00:11:14.720 dispersed among them. The Democratic vote will probably coalesce around a single candidate in
00:11:18.340 the general election. Indeed. But y'all guys got to understand, Hassan is not stupid. He could be
00:11:24.640 wrong, but not. I don't I don't play these games, guys. A lot of people are like, Tim, you're wrong.
00:11:29.020 He's a himbo. He's dumb. Hassan did not accidentally become a prominent personality
00:11:35.020 among progressives. He knows what he's doing. He knows what he's saying. And he is correct.
00:11:39.600 The down ballot consequences is a white pill for those that want to see real change in California
00:11:46.460 and a black pill for people like Hassan Piker.
00:11:51.080 This guy says,
00:11:52.160 LOL, people demanding more than two parties run.
00:11:54.380 Look at the list, fools.
00:11:55.780 Living forgotten country out there pulling votes for what?
00:11:58.840 This person says,
00:11:59.300 how is it that California's voting results take forever,
00:12:01.980 but places like Texas and Florida,
00:12:02.980 you basically get them in an hour or less.
00:12:05.800 Way more people in large cities
00:12:07.300 and they don't start counting until voting closes.
00:12:09.440 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:12:10.500 It's one big scam.
00:12:12.660 That's what it's really.
00:12:13.720 That's what it is.
00:12:14.520 Oh boy.
00:12:15.460 Take a look at threads. I love threads. All of the woke lefties evacuated from X when Elon bought
00:12:23.920 Twitter and turned it into X, and they went to Blue Sky and threads. And let's check in on our
00:12:28.140 progressive friends. Heather Ashley wrote last night, I want to watch Spencer Pratt lose his
00:12:33.640 ish tonight, but the polls don't close until 11 p.m. Eastern. Honestly, though, I'm willing to
00:12:39.100 tape my eyelids open to catch a glimpse of this crash out. Homeboy's in second place, dude.
00:12:45.460 Spencer Pratt is currently enjoying an 8.1% lead in second place.
00:12:53.160 I would argue that he's advancing, and this is the result that we expected.
00:12:57.900 Karen Bass is going to take first, Spencer Pratt second.
00:13:01.060 All math indicates it's advancing to a runoff between the two.
00:13:05.440 But they wanted to believe.
00:13:07.480 I wonder if I can pull up her profile.
00:13:08.940 Do you have any responses?
00:13:11.400 Let's see.
00:13:12.640 She's talking about Trump.
00:13:15.100 Let's see.
00:13:16.300 Complaining about Trump.
00:13:17.840 Complaining about Trump.
00:13:19.340 Let's see.
00:13:20.220 Complaining about Trump.
00:13:21.920 Remember when he and the GOP lost their ish?
00:13:24.240 It's just all Trump posts.
00:13:25.760 Jeez, lady.
00:13:27.620 This is actually kind of nuts.
00:13:31.060 She actually is acting like Pratt lost.
00:13:33.860 These people don't understand.
00:13:35.420 I recommend, Heather, that you listen to Hassan because he's making a good point.
00:13:38.940 And if you want to beat the Republicans, you need to get out that vote.
00:13:42.520 She said, what will Pratt do to get attention now?
00:13:46.700 Lady, he's winning.
00:13:51.060 I don't know.
00:13:51.800 They don't understand this, though.
00:13:52.600 Uh-oh.
00:13:53.600 Here's Jesu Robo Eno Bakari Jr. on threads.
00:14:00.100 He's got about $1,000.
00:14:02.140 But we love the crash out.
00:14:03.700 This post has got 300 likes.
00:14:06.840 This is what black women face on a daily basis.
00:14:09.800 whether it is in their careers, politics, etc.
00:14:13.220 There is absolutely no way Spencer Pratt
00:14:15.440 should have made the runoff with Mayor Karen Bass.
00:14:18.720 Maybe your other progressive friends
00:14:21.080 should have heeded those warnings.
00:14:24.600 And indeed, he's like,
00:14:26.520 Karen Bass is a black woman.
00:14:27.500 Why is she dealing with this?
00:14:29.500 He says, medium boy, 200,000,
00:14:32.760 almost 3,000 followers.
00:14:34.120 I am effing disgusted at my county.
00:14:36.640 San Diego County. Check this out, ladies and gentlemen. First place, Steve Filton in San Diego.
00:14:46.880 Let's go. So we're looking at something big coming up in these midterms because Republicans
00:14:52.120 are overperforming in California and Democrats are underperforming. Now, here's the things to
00:14:56.660 watch out for. People like Hassan, they're going to rally progressives and say, you got to get out
00:15:02.240 the vote. There's a couple of ways this could go. First, this could be bad in terms of messaging.
00:15:08.580 Republicans overperforming is definitely going to be a morale boost for Republicans, and it should
00:15:12.100 be. But it could also be a panic boost for Democrats. They see the Republicans are doing
00:15:17.160 well and they redouble their efforts. I tend not to think that's going to be the outcome,
00:15:22.260 because usually the sentiment is what the sentiment is, meaning the masses of people
00:15:28.500 don't shift in a matter of months in large numbers this way. Basically, this is a portent
00:15:35.500 of the midterms. And I am interested to see how it plays out. To be honest, it's going to be a fun
00:15:42.120 midterm. And I think Republicans are going to overperform. Now, one other way this could we
00:15:48.220 could go the Hassan route. This rallies Republicans. They scream charge. Democrats become demoralized
00:15:54.820 because they performed poorly and figure what's the point of even showing up in November.
00:16:00.960 I'd prefer that. Indeed. Now, check it out. Slate dot com. You always got to go to your
00:16:07.480 nice progressive websites and see how they're handling the crash out. Spencer Pratt built a
00:16:11.680 movement. Democrats helped him do it. Really? This says to me the sentiment right now is
00:16:18.740 depression. They're going to blame the Democratic Party. Depression. Also, I want to stress,
00:16:24.080 Take a look at Graham Plattner. They threw that guy onto the bus so hard he's spinning around
00:16:28.560 and actually came out the other side. Spencer Pratt is getting set ablaze. They're accusing
00:16:34.640 of being a Nazi sex pest now. They don't want the guy to win. And Mills is being like she came back
00:16:39.840 out being like, actually, I'm still in the race. Vote for me. Her chances of winning in the market
00:16:43.600 jumped like three percent from one. Check this out from Slate. In a deep blue city, a reality TV
00:16:49.740 troll is making waves, Democrats everywhere would be foolish to write him off. Indeed,
00:16:55.320 they say this the week before L.A.'s mayoral primary Spencer Pratt campaign van turned
00:16:59.980 upon Hyperion Avenue, the road that separates Los Feliz and Silver Lake neighborhoods in the
00:17:03.800 city's east side. Pratt's campaign had become a social media hit over the prior month,
00:17:08.040 fueled by a simple message, a barrage of A.I. slop videos and Elon Musk's algorithm.
00:17:13.040 But I had not seen a single piece of Pratt signage in this part of town. I just want to stress
00:17:17.580 If he's going viral on X,
00:17:19.300 who's on X following him?
00:17:20.960 Oh, it's regular Los Angelinos.
00:17:24.440 So y'all progresses on threads in blue sky.
00:17:26.480 You're missing out.
00:17:28.340 Pratt's van was in front of a cocktail bar
00:17:29.820 with a wooden facade
00:17:30.580 that doesn't let passerby see inside.
00:17:32.680 I pass by it often,
00:17:34.080 blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
00:17:35.240 And then there's a bunch of blah, blah, blah.
00:17:37.060 I pulled up the bar's Instagram page
00:17:38.680 and found what else?
00:17:39.280 An AI made event fly
00:17:40.700 that depicted a blonde woman
00:17:41.700 running through a gauntlet of burning.
00:17:43.520 home. A blonde woman running through a gauntlet of burning homeless encampments. A campaign ballot
00:17:50.580 party was starting right then. I took the opportunity to find out what Pratt's deal was
00:17:55.280 out there in the physical world. It was a worthwhile use of an evening. On Tuesday,
00:17:59.960 Pratt a Republican running with the community advocate label below his name,
00:18:03.180 faced off against Karen Bass and Nithya Raman. It's a jungle primary. The top two finishers
00:18:09.100 advance. We get it. She says, wait, is this actually a woman? Oh, it might be. Alex could
00:18:14.660 go either way. So I'm assuming it's a she because, you know, that's how it goes. They say after my
00:18:18.780 talks with his supporters, I believe I can now tell you why you're hearing so much about you.
00:18:22.620 You'll be hearing so much about him till November. The party took place in a warm L.A. evening. I
00:18:27.080 don't care. That's a waste of my time. Those are called wasted words, lady or guy, I guess. I don't
00:18:31.520 know. I don't know if it's a guy or not. The city's May grade stayed away. Blah, blah, blah.
00:18:36.280 Anyway, the crowd at a specific vantage point, the group was almost entirely white, more
00:18:41.460 so than the white neighborhoods the bar straddles.
00:18:43.220 Most people were between 30 and 50.
00:18:45.640 They wore nice clothes, no red hats, blah, blah, blah.
00:18:49.140 Not everyone wanted to speak on the record.
00:18:52.020 On one hand, they were Pratt supporters who thought their ideas would get them in trouble
00:18:54.980 with friends or bosses.
00:18:56.160 They don't want to be quoted.
00:18:57.480 On the other were those who were confident a quiet majority was with them and that soon
00:19:00.860 their views would be, their views on homelessness and crime would have the validation of Pratt
00:19:04.560 beating Bass and Ramen.
00:19:06.580 These supporters believe the city has been brainwashed at supporting Democrats, but would
00:19:10.460 soon see Pratt's light.
00:19:12.720 What was the source of that light, though?
00:19:14.860 What did these people see in Pratt?
00:19:17.260 Donald Trump's America has already told us the answer became clear over a few hours.
00:19:21.760 Then, of course, they lock it out, but it's OK.
00:19:24.180 Although Pratt lists policy positions on a handful of subjects, he's essentially running
00:19:26.880 a single issue campaign on homelessness, an issue that for Pratt allows him to hammer
00:19:30.960 themes about public nuisance and disorder, crime and a government letting it happen.
00:19:35.400 It's impossible to overstate the extent to which this topic is Pratt's whole ballgame.
00:19:39.260 The only thing I heard about the chatting with his backers, everything else ties back to it.
00:19:43.280 And you know what?
00:19:44.240 He is correct.
00:19:45.920 He is 100% correct.
00:19:48.540 And I'm going to tell you why.
00:19:49.700 I lived in L.A.
00:19:51.200 I was on, where was I at?
00:19:53.500 It was near, was it Sepulveda?
00:19:58.840 People who come to L.A. and don't live there like to call it Sepulveda.
00:20:01.920 uh let me let me i want to get the exact location on this one and uh oh silly it's in los angeles
00:20:10.340 let me pull up the maps real quick so i can try and tell you exactly where it was like it was
00:20:14.540 like near a cvs anyway whatever so it's near like wilshire and sepulveda is that what it is let's
00:20:21.320 do this wilshire and sepulveda boulevard and uh there it is where is it welcome to planet fitness
00:20:31.460 a.k.a. planet strength, planet sweat, planet calm, planet social, planet me time, and of course,
00:20:46.320 planet value. Whatever you're here for, we're here for it. Judgment free. Get started with
00:20:53.020 25 cents enrollment and then $15 a month. $49 annual fee applies. Deal ends June 12th.
00:20:57.340 yeah there it is it was around there and uh there's like a shot westwood it wasn't it wasn't
00:21:05.020 in the westwood village it was nearby there i can't remember okay whatever was it uh i don't
00:21:11.040 know it was over there somewhere i watched a morbidly obese homeless black woman pull her
00:21:15.380 pants down and just let her rip in the middle of the street a busy street she was there up against
00:21:21.820 the wall was like a bunch of homeless people they had tents she gets up she walks into the
00:21:27.000 middle of the street. She pulls her pants down to her ankles, squats back with one hand down and just
00:21:33.060 let's just say she cleans out right there in the middle of the street with people watching all
00:21:38.840 around. Then she gets up, pulls her pants up and goes back to her homeless encampment. Now I was
00:21:43.540 like, I don't know why I want to live here. So it's like near Westwood, I guess. There's like
00:21:49.120 a CVS or something somewhere over there. I can't remember exactly where it is. There's a bunch of
00:21:52.320 them, probably. And I was just sitting there being like, that's California, I guess. And,
00:21:57.300 you know, I was working with nonprofits trying to solve the homeless problem. We wanted to fix
00:22:02.880 these things. They call it the Homeless Industrial Complex, a series of nonprofits that complain all
00:22:07.640 day about homelessness and can't or won't do anything about it. My friends, there is one
00:22:13.140 solution to the homeless problem in Los Angeles. And I don't know that Spencer Pratt wants to say
00:22:17.200 it because, well, people are weak. They are. The solution is force. You must arrest these people
00:22:26.380 and lock them up. Many of them choose to be home. And hold on, let me clarify. Let me clarify.
00:22:32.080 There are people who are unintentionally homeless, but they're rare.
00:22:36.540 I have working on the homeless, homelessness issue. I encountered a man. He was, you know,
00:22:41.400 five, seven, seemingly in his early 50s, maybe late 40s. This is when I was in my 20s.
00:22:47.200 And he had a mustache. And he was holding up a sign saying, looking for work, anything helps.
00:22:53.480 And he was explaining that he lost his job and he's been struggling and he doesn't really know
00:22:57.840 what to do. And he's embarrassed to be flying. I call it flying signs. He's embarrassed to be
00:23:01.760 out there, but he'd take any help. What I heard, I don't know for sure, is that within two weeks,
00:23:06.020 he was gone. He had a job. He had an apartment, the homeless industrial complex. Indeed,
00:23:11.740 they did help him. He went to a shelter. They gave him food. They gave him clean clothes.
00:23:16.020 He took a shower. He started looking for work. Once he found a job that paid a little bit,
00:23:22.220 a homeless shelter moved him. They have these halfway homeless shelters. So the main shelters
00:23:26.660 are like dorms. It's like it's a big commercial building kind of thing with a bunch of beds.
00:23:31.940 Not comfortable. They lock you in. He said, I'll do whatever it takes. Once he got there,
00:23:36.920 started applying for a job. He got some like low paying job at a grocery store or something,
00:23:41.340 something simple. Then the nonprofit said, we own several houses. We will give you a bedroom
00:23:47.660 and a house. They brought him to a house where he lived with roommates and it was like a four
00:23:51.440 bedroom in the L.A. area. And he held and maintained his job. And they said, keep working
00:23:57.340 and saving up. And once you get to a point where you can sustain yourself, we'll bid you adieu.
00:24:02.080 That is awesome. It warmed my heart to hear these stories. I don't know if it's true or not,
00:24:09.340 But that's the kind of story they tell you.
00:24:11.720 They say, hey, remember that homeless guy we encountered?
00:24:13.580 Here's where we're at so far.
00:24:14.800 It was like a few months later.
00:24:15.460 I was like, no-ish.
00:24:16.700 Like, that's amazing, man.
00:24:18.000 Here's the problem.
00:24:19.360 It's one guy out of 100,000, hundreds of thousands.
00:24:23.500 And what we encountered on a day-to-day basis were you go up to somebody and say, hey, you're
00:24:28.020 homeless.
00:24:28.520 Would you like to come to a shelter?
00:24:30.060 No.
00:24:30.900 Why are you homeless?
00:24:31.880 We choose to be.
00:24:33.220 That's really it.
00:24:34.300 There was a homeless guy and a woman that I had met.
00:24:36.340 and they said they were kind of dirty. They probably did drugs, but at the time they
00:24:43.460 weren't doing drugs, missing teeth. And they looked like they maybe were in their late 30s
00:24:48.480 or 40s. And they said that they want for nothing. They get free food. They get free stuff from the
00:24:54.980 government. They get clean clothes. They need it. They don't care about showering. They live in a
00:24:58.740 tent. They have everything they want. They don't want anything else. Now, people like that,
00:25:04.120 That's the next step up.
00:25:05.220 We're not super worried about that.
00:25:07.480 You know, they're not criminals.
00:25:09.260 They weren't attacking anybody.
00:25:10.760 They're just, it's a problem to have populations sleeping in the streets.
00:25:15.860 Then you get the drug addicts, the drunkards, the mentally ill, and they'll attack you.
00:25:22.260 It's rare, but this is where it gets scary.
00:25:25.080 This is where you see the morbidly obese black woman walk into the street and defecate and
00:25:28.700 just let her rip right there in the middle of the road in front of people.
00:25:32.000 They don't care.
00:25:32.740 they're unwell. This is a problem. You want to solve this force. You go to these people who are
00:25:39.740 clearly unstable on drugs or unwell and asylums, facilities, whatever you got to do, they can't be
00:25:45.920 on the street because they're spreading disease. They're getting sick. They're killing them or
00:25:48.920 hurting themselves. Then you get the other people I talked about where they choose to do it.
00:25:53.600 You need an ordinance. Guys, you can't sleep outside. You want to sleep in the wilderness.
00:25:57.960 You got to bring it somewhere where it's not in the middle of a street or a public road.
00:26:01.320 go off in the wilderness,
00:26:02.200 go to the Mojave,
00:26:02.920 go wherever,
00:26:03.360 but you can't do this here.
00:26:04.940 And therein lies the big challenge.
00:26:06.800 Because back in the day,
00:26:07.660 you could be a vagrant or a vagabond,
00:26:09.100 you'd wander the wilderness,
00:26:09.960 but there ain't that much wilderness left anymore.
00:26:13.200 Then you get the people who need help.
00:26:15.320 These people that I talked about
00:26:16.300 where they're like,
00:26:16.760 I'll take what I can get.
00:26:17.700 You don't got a problem with those people at all.
00:26:19.460 Government could literally walk up and say,
00:26:21.320 we're going to put you in a government shelter
00:26:23.200 and they'll go,
00:26:23.920 thank you so much for saving me.
00:26:25.340 But that's rare.
00:26:26.700 You want to get rid of these wacklings in the street?
00:26:29.060 Government's got to do it by force.
00:26:30.160 But here's the thing.
00:26:30.960 I'm willing to bet that for like Karen Bass, she's not going to solve this problem.
00:26:36.140 She doesn't want to solve the problem.
00:26:38.640 The homeless industrial complex makes bank off of running shelters that never have anybody in them.
00:26:44.460 So these nonprofits that pull in millions of dollars, I mean, guys, you want to be rich?
00:26:48.600 I'm not even kidding.
00:26:49.960 Start a nonprofit homeless, a homeless nonprofit in L.A., free money, and you don't got to do anything.
00:26:58.300 It's messed up because you can't do anything.
00:27:00.960 So they keep dumping money into it, and therein lies the big problem.
00:27:06.020 Spencer Pratt has got his job cut out for him.
00:27:08.760 Now I want to give an honorable mention to our good friend Tom Steyer.
00:27:11.320 I say that as a joke.
00:27:12.800 He dumped, what did he dump, like hundreds of millions, and now he's lost.
00:27:16.340 He's out.
00:27:17.440 That's just so merciless.
00:27:19.280 Tom spent so much money.
00:27:22.600 What is it like?
00:27:23.080 I think I saw something like $200 million spent on him trying to win public office,
00:27:26.780 and he just can't do it.
00:27:28.920 Sorry, brother.
00:27:29.600 Now, the question is, where do we go from here? And I want to talk about the national level,
00:27:35.460 and I want to give a shout out to our good friends, MS Now. Bill Pulte is Trump's most
00:27:39.620 dangerously sycophantic promotion yet. Trump has put the boy who cried mortgage fraud
00:27:45.220 as the acting overseer of America's intelligence agencies. That can't end well for anyone.
00:27:51.380 It can end well for me. I'm excited about it. Bill Pulte is a pit bull. He is, he is,
00:27:57.800 he this is a guy he had tremendous success he had what did what did he have like an investment firm
00:28:05.340 made a bunch of money then he started doing he started giving money away shouting out people
00:28:10.080 helping him pay their bills he meets Trump Trump gives him a job as the federal housing what is
00:28:15.600 what is it federal housing financial assistance director of all of the people Trump brought in
00:28:20.480 to take down the corrupt political elements in this country Bill Pulte found mortgage fraud
00:28:27.280 on tons of people and made criminal referrals.
00:28:31.360 You take a look at, like, with all due respect to Tulsi Gabbard, come on.
00:28:36.300 You know, where's the indictments?
00:28:37.940 Comey gets 86-47.
00:28:40.660 Bill Pulte dug through mortgage records and financial reports and found mortgage fraud.
00:28:46.100 Now he's acting DNI, or he will be as soon as Tulsi's out.
00:28:51.320 So it's no wonder they are freaking out about this.
00:28:53.980 Now, to bring us up in this context, what I'm saying is it is a black pill season for
00:28:58.900 our progressive friends.
00:29:00.800 Things aren't going to go so well for them.
00:29:04.120 Bill Pulte is the kind of guy that does the digging and pulls the trigger.
00:29:08.780 OK, we are going to see criminal referrals.
00:29:12.500 And we are going to see some serious, serious evidence of crimes.
00:29:16.500 I don't think this dude's going to mess around.
00:29:18.140 Then you got Todd Blanche.
00:29:19.800 Trump has brought in some strong and powerful voices.
00:29:22.020 It looks like the early people brought in Trump allies and moderates, you know, Tulsi, for instance, RFK Jr., and this brings this country together.
00:29:32.280 He wins the election.
00:29:33.100 And now he's saying drop the bombs figuratively.
00:29:35.940 Well, actually, literally two in Iran.
00:29:38.500 No wonder they're freaking out about this.
00:29:41.140 It's going to get particularly interesting.
00:29:44.360 Not to mention Scott Pelley got fired by CBS.
00:29:46.740 I'm just sitting here saying like, hey, it's a good day.
00:29:48.880 huh? Scott Pelley apparently got into it with Barry Weiss and some other producer.
00:29:53.400 So they fired him. And I'm loving every minute of this. America's back, baby. Scott Pelley,
00:30:01.020 they say, oh, but he's a story journalist. Get out of here. I'm done with this. I can't stand
00:30:06.700 these deep state shill journalists. Now, I got to be honest, I don't care for the social media
00:30:12.000 grifters. All of a sudden, you get these people whose opinions inverted. It's like Charlie Kirk
00:30:17.600 is assassinated, and then a month later, these prominent personalities are like, I've completely
00:30:20.900 changed my worldview. Wonder why that. Wonder why that is. Then you got these grifter personalities
00:30:26.360 that are like shilling for India and soda pop for welfare benefits because somebody paid them to do
00:30:33.060 it. Man, I call that cringe AF. I'll tell you what I do. I don't know. I complain about the
00:30:41.920 internet. I complain on the internet, sometimes about the internet, kind of a lot about the
00:30:45.520 in it. I read the news. I'll tell you what I think. Scott Pelley and his ilk, these corporate
00:30:50.480 journalists who have lied forever, get them out of there. CBS is doing amazing. Bill Pulte,
00:30:56.700 a pit bull for Donald Trump. Someone's going to get in and he's going to find it. He's going to
00:31:01.860 get the evidence. He's going to make those referrals. And Todd Blanch is going to fire away.
00:31:06.480 Things are looking pretty good. On the election front, the signs indicate a tremendous GOP victory
00:31:12.000 coming up in November. We don't know for sure. There are many variables that lie in front of us,
00:31:17.740 but my friends, it is a good day. It is a good day for those who at least want change. And that's
00:31:24.840 what I can say about Spencer Pratt and Steve Hilton. Why don't you guys mix it up a little bit?
00:31:30.900 Because they say on the internet, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over
00:31:34.940 again, expecting a different outcome. Maybe at some point you'll say, let's try something else.
00:31:40.580 And you know what?
00:31:41.220 Your worst case scenario is if Spencer Pratt and Steve Hilton don't work out, you just
00:31:44.700 vote for the Democrat again next time.
00:31:46.680 It's not the end of the world.
00:31:48.480 Smash that like button, my friends.
00:31:50.120 Share the show with everyone you know.
00:31:51.480 Thank you all so much for hanging out.
00:31:52.760 We got more coming up today, 8 p.m.
00:31:54.520 Timcast IRL.
00:31:56.420 We'll see you then.
00:31:57.460 And appreciate you guys being members and watching the show.
00:32:09.980 You
