00:01:56.020 If investigators can prove that her immigration filing was false, the consequences are staggering.

00:04:55.200 Senate where they're not doing so well. Now, I don't think it likely that Ilhan Omar loses her

00:05:01.540 race. But you have to wonder if this is a bigger play targeting the brand that is Democrats to

00:05:08.040 align them with fraud and manipulation. The story, of course, extends beyond Ilhan Omar and into the

00:05:14.600 midterm elections where CNN said the Republicans are getting dark. Insults, smears, and investigations.

00:05:24.660 But I do think there's another important element of this. There was an investigation in Ilhan Omar

00:05:29.200 in 2024 during the Biden administration. And I don't think we're going to come out and claim

00:05:35.060 that the Biden administration was biased for targeting Ilhan. Now she's come out and she's

00:05:39.280 attacked Trump over this, but we do have these latest developments. So let's jump into the story

00:05:43.240 from Fox News. They report, Rep. Ilhan Omar's immigration history is facing fresh scrutiny

00:05:51.220 after federal agents searched her Washington DC home with new reports detailing subpoenas to

00:05:57.740 relatives and a request from her congressional staff to change the birth year listed in public

00:06:04.320 biographies. Federal investigators have subpoenaed Omar's sister, Sarah Noor, and at least one other

00:06:10.660 person in her family circle as they examine possible fraud and false statements in immigration

00:06:16.460 paperwork. The New York Times reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the investigation.

00:06:22.340 Fox News has also learned that subpoenas have been sent to multiple family members of Omar.

00:06:27.740 Separately, the New York Post reported that Omar's staff asked the Minnesota Legislative Reference Library in May of 2019 to change her listed birth year from 1981 to 1982, a discrepancy a former political opponent has questioned while challenging the Minnesota Democrats' account of how she became a U.S. citizen.

00:07:54.780 the biographical director of the United States Congress, and other sources to correct the year.

00:08:08.780 had been drawn from other reference sources and added without documentation.

00:13:13.860 and Rose Lake Capital LLC, a Washington-based venture capital firm.
