A man has been arrested in connection to the death of conservative commentator Matt Walsh and the threat to kill the Daily Wire's own Benny Johnson and his family. The FBI is investigating the possibility that it was an act of political intimidation.
00:00:06.780He threatened the lives of Matt Walsh and his family.
00:00:10.200He's reportedly stalking Benny, Matt Walsh, Laura Loomer, and showed up at the homes of several other individuals, prominent conservative personalities.
00:00:56.800However, we didn't talk about too much of the details because it is being investigated, but the threat was to come here and shoot up the studio and kill us.
00:02:21.820And it kind of blew my mind that, you know, I come, I get this news about, you know, again, for those that aren't familiar, I'm assuming it must be war because it was a big story, I guess.
00:02:34.720I didn't think it was going to blow up so much.
00:02:35.880But between midnight and 1 a.m. on Saturday morning, just, you know, Friday night, we're leaving the studio.
00:02:41.140We had left a vehicle slowly approaching our property.
00:02:45.340Once it was about aligned with one of the structures, fires a shot, speeds up a little bit.
00:02:49.960Once it lines with their studio, fires two more shots.
00:04:11.520So let's talk about what's happening in this country and what's happening to people like Benny, Matt Walsh, and happening to all of us and the fears that even you have.
00:04:20.040I know it's a bit serious, but we do have a sponsor.
00:04:23.060Before we get started, I want to shout out BackyardButchers.com slash Tim.

00:07:05.740Laura Loomer claims this man was allegedly targeting her, her next, after Matt Walsh, Cat Turd, and Benny Johnson.
00:07:13.420For those that aren't familiar, Cat Turd is an online personality who goes by the silly name, Cat Turd.
00:07:19.520After stalker Andrew Iyer has been arrested, Laura Loomer puts forward a new theory that she was his next target.
00:07:24.420Late on Sunday, November 30th, political activist Laura Loomer shared a tweet about Andrew Iyer, the Florida-based man who was charged for stalking podcaster Matt Walsh and Cat Turd last month.
00:07:35.780Retweeting a post containing Iyer's arrest information, Loomer wrote the stalker was allegedly planning to pay her a visit next.
00:07:41.800Laura also wrote that Andrew was reported as a dangerous individual on the run after his license plate was flagged by authorities.
00:07:48.680Per a document attached to a blue sky post uploaded by Court Watch, the criminal complaint against Andrew Nikhil Iyer was filed in Florida, in a Florida district court, in which he was accused of threatening Matt Walsh's wife.
00:08:06.780When Andrew Iyer was at Cat Turd's home, this individual who has been arrested was heard talking about how he was going to come to my house next.
00:08:14.880He said he was going to come to my house and Benny Johnson's house.
00:08:17.080When this happened, I immediately called Benny to let him know.
00:08:19.600At the time, Iyer's license plate had been flagged for authorities as he was reported as a dangerous individual on the run.
00:17:50.000These results are from the inaugural administration of the Kettering Foundation Gout Democracy for All project.
00:17:55.500A five-year project designed to measure Americans' views of democracy.
00:17:58.640Data are based on a multimodal web and mail survey of over 20,000 U.S. adults conducted July 7th to August 25th.
00:18:07.320Some attitudes toward democracy are associated with views on the use of political violence.
00:18:12.760People who agree that democracy is the best form of government are less likely than those who disagree to say political violence is sometimes okay.
00:18:21.000Perceptions of others' commitment to democracy also matter.
00:18:23.100Americans who agree that most people in the U.S. are committed to having a strong democracy are less likely to say political violence is sometimes okay, compared with those who disagree with this statement.
00:18:34.440Democracy is the best form of government.
00:19:00.700I don't know what they even mean by that.
00:19:02.320I don't know if the people answering this even understand what they're being asked.
00:19:07.900Some measures of social isolation and belonging are so closely related to views on political violence, people who regularly feel lonely, feel they or someone in their household has been targeted or excluded in the past year due to a personal characteristic,
00:19:21.280or do not strongly identify as an American, or do not strongly identify as an American, are more likely to say political violence is sometimes okay.
00:19:27.960Feel lonely always, 26% think it's sometimes okay.
00:19:31.880Feel targeted and excluded, 25% say yes.
00:19:35.060Identify as an American, identify as an American, not at all strongly, 35%.
00:19:40.020If you very strongly identify as American, you're less likely to think political violence is okay.
00:19:49.220Gender differences in the attitude that political violence is sometimes okay are smaller among older Americans and virtually disappear among those aged 60.
00:20:02.580The impact of social disconnection shows a similar trend.
00:20:04.860For example, among adults aged 60 and older, who are often or always lonely compared with those who are never, rarely, or sometimes lonely, there is a very little difference in rates of saying that political violence is sometimes okay.
00:20:26.460Seeing how different segments of U.S. society view violence as a way to achieve political goals in 2025 is revealing, but historical trends provide context for how such views have evolved over time.
00:20:40.260Gallup asked similar questions on whether violence is justified to achieve societal or political change in December of 1970 and September of 95.
00:20:51.460While response patterns can vary based on question wording, response scale, and data collection mode, these historical points offer suggestive evidence on continuity and change.
00:21:03.760Despite significant differences in the political climate across the three times Gallup has asked variations of this question, the overall trend is stable, with around 15% of Americans agreeing that violence is sometimes justified to bring about change.
00:21:17.100This continuity masks two notable shifts in subgroup trends.
00:21:19.980First, younger Americans aged 18 to 29 are more likely today than in the past to view political violence as a legitimate tool to effective change.
00:21:28.100Second, a gender gap in attitudes towards political violence has emerged in which younger men aged 18 to 44 are now more likely to say violence is justified to achieve societal or political change, whereas older men and women of all ages hold roughly similar views as they did in the past.
00:22:03.820Large majorities of both Republicans and Democrats say left-wing and right-wing extremism, as well as extremism from those without clear political views, are at least a minor problem for the country.
00:22:12.960Americans are equally likely to see extremism from each end of the political spectrum as a major problem, but partisans see bigger problems on the other side.
00:22:21.500If you are on the left, if you are on the left, Republicans and lean Republicans see a major left-wing violence problem, Democrats see a major right-wing violence problem, objectively, the problem's on the left.
00:22:40.660Americans see rhetoric from the other side, polarization, lack of understanding among the main reasons for politically motivated violence in the United States.
00:23:47.780But the story is that a wise man is traveling when he comes across a field where a bunch of people are surrounding a watermelon with spears.
00:25:09.080And this is a conversation I had with Milo on Friday.
00:25:11.680If there is no other means, if you know that telling the truth isn't working and people are doing bad things, would you lie to them to correct their behavior?
00:25:18.640My argument is, if you use deception because you are upset with the way they are living in this world, you create a world of deception.
00:25:28.340And, you know, Milo Green said, well, that is the Catholic belief.
00:25:31.780And I said, you must refrain from sin lest you create a world of sin.
00:25:36.440Maybe that means I'm naive and we are doomed.
00:25:40.980But I think the best thing you can do is, to the best of your ability, is just tell the truth.
00:25:45.140And people must come to understand it.
00:25:48.480I believe there's largely the liberal and democratic view that people are stupid, so you must control them.
00:31:41.260There are people saying, Tim, if you give up, the terrorists win.
00:31:43.300And I said, well, if I die, the terrorists win.
00:31:48.240I'm not going to advocate for anybody running full speed into a battlefield and just getting blown up by the enemy.
00:31:53.940We have to figure out how we do this effectively.
00:31:55.260And with these stories and what Benny's saying with this report and Laura and Matt and Katzer, guys, we don't win by sacrificing prominent pieces on the chessboard for no reason.
