00:00:50.060 And now it is official, my friends, the Turning Point All-American Halftime Show has become the highest watched U.S. YouTube live stream, with on YouTube alone 6.17 million concurrent viewers.

00:01:06.720 We're getting all the numbers in now, but it looks like they're estimating, as of right now, 25 million total viewership, with concurrence at 10 million across the board.

00:01:17.620 There's pros, there's cons. I address this in an early morning segment, but there's a lot of updates.

00:01:22.100 And the reactions from the liberals is just, it's, it's, I, what I can't understand is that they don't let conservatives just be.

00:01:31.700 Now, to be fair, I guess I can't actually understand it.

00:01:33.760 If they want to destroy conservatives, then it makes sense.

00:01:38.380 The point is this.

00:01:39.960 Bad Bunny is politically divisive and not particularly well-known to a general American audience.

00:01:46.120 He is one of the top streamers, but this is because he performs extremely well with the 20% Spanish-speaking minority.

00:01:53.900 Which means the overwhelming majority of Americans don't know his songs.

00:01:58.180 And we've got a video showing you what it was like, where people were just like, who is this guy?

00:02:02.960 Now, for me, I was at a major sports book in Maryland, MGM National Harbor.

00:02:06.780 And I'm not exaggerating when I say the small handful of people that I had met and was around were like, we don't know who this guy is.

00:02:14.560 What is this?

00:02:16.300 Bad Bunny is big internationally.

00:02:18.480 And so it seems that the whole play here for the NFL was to try and build up an international audience.

00:02:23.100 That's why, controversially, as Bad Bunny is rounding out his performance, he says, God bless America, and then goes on to list a whole bunch of other countries.

00:02:34.660 This is something we see with South Americans, where not all of them, but some of them get offended at the idea that we call ourselves America, despite only being the United States of America.

00:02:45.720 It's not—nobody created this colloquialism as an insult to other countries in the Americas.

00:02:53.380 It's just shorthand for United States of America.

00:02:55.980 They say America.

00:02:57.300 Well, his point was, we are all America, from Chile to Uruguay to Paraguay, all of that stuff.

00:03:06.360 And that's not what the NFL has always been.

00:03:08.980 I believe this was inevitable.

00:03:10.960 You were always going to clash with corporate interests saying, how do we make more money?

00:03:16.100 Well, what we are seeing now, my friends, is that conservatives, pro-America, American exceptionalism, they say, we want our own show.

00:03:23.260 And the crazy thing about it is, despite the tremendous success, all these articles are popping up saying it failed.

00:03:30.680 Or they're accusing Kid Rock of lip syncing, which is just absolute cringe.

00:03:34.540 And you know what's going to happen?

00:03:35.340 Well, there's a video where you can see Kid Rock put the mic to his mouth, and then, about a second later, you hear him.

00:03:43.160 There's a million and one explanations for this.

00:03:44.840 And I actually think everyone got it wrong.

00:03:46.080 I think Kid Rock's just using a backing track for his songs.

00:03:49.300 Some have argued that it's the stream lag, which is normal for anybody who has done streaming before.

00:03:55.800 Others are claiming that it's all bot views.

00:03:58.680 No one really watched it.

00:03:59.940 And that's some conservative personality saying this, saying that it was fake, you know, but people have been ragging on Turning Point.

00:04:06.900 Let's do this.

00:04:08.020 Let's break down exactly what's going on with the news story and what it means historically.

00:04:14.760 The good, the bad, the ugly, all that stuff.

00:04:16.900 Before we get started, my friends, make sure that you head over to castbrew.com and pick up some delicious coffee to support your day and support our work.

00:04:25.320 Guys, we got a whole bunch of crazy blends, ground, whole bean.

00:04:30.340 We got decaf, flavored coffees, light roast, dark roast, low-acidity Ian's Graphene Dream.

00:04:36.000 When you go to castbrew.com and you buy from us, you are supporting the work that we do.

00:04:41.500 And our Valentine's Day blend should be coming up very soon.

00:04:43.760 It's an Alex Stein roast.

00:04:44.840 Check it out.

00:04:45.960 But let's get back to the news, my friends.

00:04:47.320 Don't forget to smash that like button.

00:04:49.220 Subscribe to this channel right now.

00:04:51.500 And the most important thing you can do, if you really do support the work that I do, share this video on all social media platforms that you got.

00:04:57.940 Post it.

00:04:58.980 Ask people to watch it.

00:05:00.080 It really does help.

00:05:01.580 The Post Millennial Reports, Turning Point USA's all-American halftime show, becomes the highest-watched U.S. YouTube live stream with 6.17 million concurrent viewers.

00:05:10.720 And that's only for one channel.

00:05:12.940 When you add it all together, it comes out to about 10 million concurrent viewers.

00:05:17.400 Now, I already mentioned, some people are saying, hey, those are bots.

00:05:21.720 I'm going to go ahead and say no.

00:05:23.680 Guys, bots are expensive.

00:05:25.800 Okay?

00:05:26.220 Body, like, there's a lot of people on Twitch.

00:05:28.460 It's harder to bot on YouTube.

00:05:30.760 Botting is, for those that aren't familiar, when you use fake computers to make it look like you have more viewers.

00:05:36.960 YouTube filters these viewers out.

00:05:38.700 It's much more difficult.

00:05:39.700 I don't know about any other platform.

00:05:41.640 YouTube actually has a thing where they send you, like, every month in your analytics,

00:05:44.640 it tells you views that are removed from your channel for being fake.

00:05:48.380 That being said, it can be expensive to get.

00:05:52.500 Even 100K could cost you, like, 50 grand.

00:05:55.200 If it were true that they were botting, it would have cost them millions, millions of dollars.

00:06:01.940 And I don't even know if the computers exist for that level of botting.

00:06:04.620 So, anyway, Post Millennial says, Sunday marked Super Bowl, what are we on, 55?

00:06:09.720 No, 60?

00:06:11.380 What Super Bowl?

00:06:12.360 I don't know what Super Bowl we're on.

00:06:13.580 What Super Bowl?

00:06:15.260 And you all do, so why am I even bothering asking this?

00:06:19.760 It's Super Bowl 60.

00:06:21.660 Oh, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:06:22.240 See, I know my Roman numerals, guys.

00:06:25.640 They say the All-American Halftime Show is an alternative to Bad Bunny.

00:06:29.820 The stream on YouTube brought in 6.17 million concurrent viewers at its peak,

00:06:32.700 making its performance the second highest stream in terms of peak concurrent viewers

00:06:36.620 on the platform of all time and the highest in the U.S.

00:06:39.760 Number two all time, number one.

00:06:41.980 But here's the truth.

00:06:43.580 The, I suppose the pitfall here is because they decided to divvy up the stream between

00:06:52.500 different channels and actually reduced their peak single-channel viewership.

00:06:57.040 I believe that if the Post Millennial only, I'm sorry, the Post Millennial, the Turning

00:07:01.220 Point USA only streamed on one platform, they probably would have been the biggest YouTube

00:07:08.100 stream of all time.

00:07:09.840 I really do.

00:07:10.880 I really do think that.

00:07:12.040 I don't, I think they're estimated at 10 million with Rumble and YouTube.

00:07:16.860 It wasn't on X.

00:07:17.620 I believe if they didn't have it on Rumble and they only had it on one channel on YouTube,

00:07:21.420 then it would have been probably eight and a half to 9 million.

00:07:24.420 It would have been lower all around, but the number one.

00:07:26.940 So I think it's fair to say that this is the number one stream of all time.

00:07:33.300 I think anywhere.

00:07:35.480 10 million concurrence.

00:07:37.500 The other biggest was 8.09 million for India's Lunar Lander, which is amazing.

00:07:43.120 International Event.

00:07:44.680 Per Turning Point USA spokesman Andrew Colvett, the show had brought in over 25 million viewers

00:07:48.080 between YouTube and Rumble alone.

00:07:49.900 Colvett said, based on tonight's success, we have committed to running it back again

00:07:52.740 next year.

00:07:53.820 Yes, my friends, but what if next year the NFL gets the message and says, look how much

00:07:58.840 money we lost?

00:08:00.580 Now, of course, the media is saying, well, 25 million.

00:08:03.840 Yeah, but 130 watched Bad Bunny.

00:08:07.040 I'm going to pause you right there.

00:08:08.040 130 million passively heard Bad Bunny give a monotonous, a melodic beat.

00:08:16.320 Okay, I'm going to pull this.

00:08:17.360 I was, let me see if I can find this one because I was going to pull it up later in the segment,

00:08:20.960 but I'm going to pull it up now.

00:08:24.420 And I think, is this it?

00:08:26.380 Yeah, here we go.

00:08:27.000 Let's, let's, let's play this video from the Super Bowl during Bad Bunny's performance.

00:08:38.040 Nobody knows the song.

00:08:56.180 The song is not catchy.

00:08:57.920 I'm sorry, guys.

00:08:58.880 I got to tell you this.

00:08:59.600 They had The Weeknd several, a couple of years ago, and I know all of his songs.

00:09:04.780 Even, even though I don't regularly listen to The Weeknd, I like Blinding Lights and Save

00:09:11.500 Your Tears.

00:09:11.980 Is that it?

00:09:12.160 Those are the big hits.

00:09:14.220 Excuse me.

00:09:15.560 If you played it, I'd hear, if you played it and I heard it, I'd be like, oh yeah, yeah,

00:09:19.020 I know these songs.

00:09:20.440 You know what one of my favorite things ever is?

00:09:22.940 The band that everybody knows but doesn't know they know is Train.

00:09:27.440 And I was talking to my friend and I was like, I mentioned Tears of Jupiter, I think it's

00:09:34.100 called.

00:09:35.340 And they're like, oh yeah, what was that band?

00:09:36.420 I was like, Train.

00:09:36.980 And they're like, yeah, like, what is that?

00:09:38.560 One Hit Wonder?

00:09:39.400 I was like, what?

00:09:40.800 Train?

00:09:41.460 Like, they have like 15 massive hits.

00:09:44.660 Really?

00:09:45.520 Yeah.

00:09:46.180 But nobody knows it's Train.

00:09:49.500 You know, Hey Soul Sister and what's, I don't even know the names of the songs, but

00:09:56.260 if you play them, you'd know them.

00:09:56.960 The point is this, if they had Train do a Super Bowl halftime show, the people in the

00:10:02.060 audience would be like, I don't know.

00:10:02.980 Oh, and everyone would be singing along.

00:10:05.340 I know this song.

00:10:06.920 They say that Bad Bunny is one of the, is the top international streamer.

00:10:12.080 Number five domestically in the US.

00:10:14.520 I'm sorry.

00:10:15.580 This is just like, it's, it's, it's, it's generic rap.

00:10:19.000 I don't understand.

00:10:20.000 Here's the thing about rap.

00:10:21.500 Okay.

00:10:21.760 You got to understand this.

00:10:23.860 Rap says something.

00:10:25.800 That's what it is.

00:10:27.300 Some rap doesn't, but the point of rapping is to say words, right?

00:10:32.240 Now, there are a lot of songs.

00:10:34.300 I was just shouting out Despacito.

00:10:36.440 Okay.

00:10:38.000 Despacito.

00:10:38.400 You know that song.

00:10:40.080 It's amazing.

00:10:41.020 It's in Spanish.

00:10:41.900 I don't even know what they're talking about.

00:10:43.580 I only speak a little bit, but we all know the melody.

00:10:47.300 We all know the song because the song is good.

00:10:49.300 The melody carries us.

00:10:50.360 Gangnam style.

00:10:51.400 Nobody speaks Korean.

00:10:52.420 We all love that song.

00:10:53.580 And then there's like, obviously the Macarena.

00:10:56.200 Nobody spoke Spanish, but they all liked that song.

00:10:59.240 It's not the language.

00:11:00.760 But if you're going to rap and it's just boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.

00:11:03.900 And you're going, I don't even need to say any words at all.

00:11:07.620 Like if you're talking about lowest common denominator music, that's what Bad Bunny was

00:11:12.300 doing.

00:11:12.900 Now, nobody knows what he's saying.

00:11:15.480 So they're just going like, yeah, I guess.

00:11:18.540 And so everybody around me at MGM is basically like, I don't know what this is.

00:11:23.220 Why couldn't they have gotten Beyonce?

00:11:25.060 Right?

00:11:25.820 Well, Newsweek, they got the article.

00:11:28.220 MAGA halftime show ratings shot across the bow for Super Bowl.

00:11:33.260 They say a turning point.

00:11:34.780 USA spokesperson Andrew Colvitt suggested the number could rise to as much as 50 million

00:11:38.860 for the event.

00:11:39.900 I can tell you that it's a shot across the bow.

00:11:41.760 People are paying attention now, Colvitt said.

00:11:43.260 And, you know, if you give us a year to plan this thing, I'm really excited to see what

00:11:46.560 we can pull off.

00:11:47.540 I think so.

00:11:48.500 Apparently, this was a prerecorded soundstage with an audience.

00:11:52.960 Imagine if turning point actually books a stadium.

00:11:56.180 They may not.

00:11:57.440 The stadiums might be like, we have contracts with the NFL.

00:12:00.100 We're not going to let you do it.

00:12:01.600 But they could also just book a field and create a music festival.

00:12:05.220 So that's my pitch turning point.

00:12:07.500 Next year during the Super Bowl, you need to get a festival ground somewhere.

00:12:12.180 So you can do the show with a sea of 100,000, 200,000 people and then book those bands and

00:12:19.080 make it a big music performance to stream because this was tremendous.

00:12:22.800 It was absolutely tremendous.

00:12:24.780 Now, TMZ says, while Bad Bunny took one of the world's biggest stages Sunday, rock in

00:12:30.280 the Super Bowl 60 halftime show at Levi's Stadium, Kid Rock tried to outshine BB with

00:12:35.780 his own concert.

00:12:36.500 Who had the better halftime show, Bad Bunny or Kid Rock?

00:12:40.420 I voted for Kid Rock because I'm going to be completely honest with you.

00:12:43.780 Tell me I'm biased.

00:12:45.100 I hear a Kid Rock song.

00:12:46.260 I go, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:12:47.440 Ball with the ball.

00:12:48.300 I'm a cowboy.

00:12:49.580 I know those songs.

00:12:50.340 You know what I mean?

00:12:51.200 Bad Bunny.

00:12:51.820 I just hear.

00:12:54.320 I don't speak Spanish.

00:12:56.980 Sorry. 0.95

00:12:57.520 I'm not trying to be a dick. 0.91

00:12:58.820 I'm not ragging on Bad Bunny. 0.90

00:12:59.660 I know people like him.

00:13:00.360 I don't speak Spanish.

00:13:01.260 So I don't know what he's rapping about.

00:13:02.740 And there's nothing melodical.

00:13:04.840 Melodic?

00:13:05.560 Melodical?

00:13:06.420 Like Despacito, I could actually gibberish sing.

00:13:09.700 You know what I mean?

00:13:10.220 Like, my point is, I don't speak Spanish, but I can certainly go.

00:13:17.000 Despacito.

00:13:17.600 I know the melody.

00:13:18.880 I love the beat.

00:13:19.780 It's fun.

00:13:20.420 You're singing.

00:13:20.920 Everybody's dancing.

00:13:21.820 Bad Bunny is nothing.

00:13:23.200 Sorry.

00:13:23.660 It was not a good show.

00:13:25.760 I was miserable.

00:13:26.580 Mediate says, Fox News reacts to what may have been the worst halftime show in history.

00:13:31.760 Not one word of English.

00:13:33.500 And Mediate, of course, ragging on them. 0.99

00:13:35.220 They've got this article.

00:13:35.940 It's hilarious.

00:13:36.340 It was just a halftime show. 1.00

00:13:37.380 The meltdown reveals how dumb we've become. 0.99

00:13:38.900 No, guys, please. 0.94

00:13:40.100 If they played, if they literally just were like, we're going to take Bohemian Rhapsody

00:13:45.540 and do the whole thing in Spanish, I'd be like, let's go.

00:13:48.100 I'm a big, I love Puerto Rico, my friends.

00:13:50.800 Puerto Rico gets ragged on all the time, even by Puerto Ricans. 1.00

00:13:53.240 But I like Puerto Rico.

00:13:54.240 And I'm going to tell you this.

00:13:54.860 It's America.

00:13:56.380 And I find it funny.

00:13:58.880 Puerto Ricans are called immigrants or foreigners.

00:14:01.720 There was one viral news clip where they were like, they referred to this Puerto Rican

00:14:04.580 woman as a Puerto Rican immigrant. 0.64

00:14:05.960 And people are like, what do you mean?

00:14:07.860 It's the United States.

00:14:09.800 It's a U.S. territory.

00:14:11.540 If you're born in Puerto Rico, you can fly to Florida and vote like you're an American

00:14:15.360 citizen.

00:14:15.920 There's nothing.

00:14:16.680 OK, it's all the same.

00:14:18.320 And then there are people saying like, deport Bad Bunny.

00:14:20.460 And I'm like, he's American, dude.

00:14:22.220 Here's my issue.

00:14:23.120 I think Puerto Rico needs to get more airtime in the United States, I think.

00:14:28.500 And maybe they want independence.

00:14:29.540 By all means, they could have that, too.

00:14:30.760 And we pay them a lot of money.

00:14:32.240 I think we don't focus enough on Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S.

00:14:37.420 Virgin Islands, right?

00:14:38.620 Alaska.

00:14:39.060 America, the U.S. is more than just the contiguous United States.

00:14:43.440 And so I like the idea of getting some Puerto Rican representation and saying, like, this

00:14:47.820 is America, dude.

00:14:49.180 America is not just right.

00:14:51.180 The problem is they chose the worst guy for it.

00:14:54.180 Someone politically divisive.

00:14:56.280 And people are pissed about it.

00:14:57.720 I'm going to say it again because I know the libs are going to be like, what do you mean?

00:15:02.320 It was a great halftime show.

00:15:03.100 No, it wasn't.

00:15:03.780 You weren't singing.

00:15:04.560 You weren't dancing.

00:15:05.480 You're going bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop.

00:15:07.900 I know because I was at this.

00:15:09.500 I was there at MGM.

00:15:10.800 They got a massive sports book.

00:15:12.360 OK.

00:15:13.060 And people were just like, I don't know.

00:15:15.060 No one really paid attention.

00:15:16.400 I was actually pretty surprised.

00:15:18.220 I was like, OK, let's see how they do it.

00:15:19.700 You know, it's a halftime show.

00:15:21.400 They get one guy.

00:15:22.780 To be fair, Ricky Martin was there, too.

00:15:24.060 Great cameo.

00:15:25.760 They should have gotten Bad Bunny with other guests.

00:15:28.400 I said it before.

00:15:28.960 I'll say it again.

00:15:30.560 Now, Trump bashes Bad Bunny halftime spectacle.

00:15:33.740 Oh, boy.

00:15:35.240 The Super Bowl halftime show is absolutely terrible.

00:15:37.020 One of the worst ever.

00:15:38.180 He wrote on Truth Social.

00:15:39.160 It makes no sense.

00:15:40.040 It's an affront to the greatness of America and doesn't represent our standards of success,

00:15:44.920 creativity and excellence.

00:15:45.720 Trump's been blasting Bad Bunny quite a bit.

00:15:49.800 But this is where things get controversial.

00:15:53.800 This video is of Bad Bunny shouting out, not the United States.

00:15:58.380 God bless America.

00:16:00.240 Oh, wait.

00:16:00.520 He said God bless America, right?

00:16:01.940 OK.

00:16:03.260 What does that mean to most people?

00:16:05.120 God bless America to the average person means the United States of America.

00:16:08.320 And then.

00:16:15.720 So he then names a bunch of non-United States countries.

00:16:44.620 And this is what's got people not so happy.

00:16:49.700 He's talking about every other country in the Americas, which is half the planet, basically.

00:16:56.120 And he's not talking about the United States.

00:16:58.340 But that was always the point.

00:16:59.500 Now, I'm going to mention this, too, in reference to El Español.

00:17:04.640 They say the liberals are coming out and they're saying that, look, 20 percent of the country speaks Spanish and he does well internationally.

00:17:13.080 That's why they did the whole show in Spanish.

00:17:15.240 And my response is the Spanish speakers in the United States overwhelmingly as well are bilingual and speak both English and Spanish.

00:17:22.240 Do you know what that means?

00:17:23.000 It means you could have a Puerto Rican Spanish language show that's largely in English with some Spanish and that's going to play for everybody.

00:17:31.760 But you do it like this with somebody who is politically divisive and you do it with somebody who's not speaking English and you're going to get backlash.

00:17:40.020 Now, I'm going to show you this from Mediaite.

00:17:43.520 It was just a halftime show. 1.00

00:17:45.380 The meltdown reveals how dumb we've become. 0.98

00:17:48.400 Guys, listen, if you like Bad Bunny, that was always allowed. 0.99

00:17:52.580 No beef.

00:17:53.480 I think it's funny that there's conservatives that are like, oh, his music is terrible.

00:17:57.340 I'm like, well, it's just rap.

00:17:58.260 I don't understand.

00:17:59.140 There's no melody for me to latch on to.

00:18:00.920 I don't speak Spanish.

00:18:02.000 That's why I don't like the performance.

00:18:03.440 But people are allowed to like it.

00:18:04.660 I'm not going to rag on you if you're a fan of Bad Bunny.

00:18:06.180 He's a big star.

00:18:07.560 Fantastic, man.

00:18:08.240 You listen to the stuff that you like.

00:18:10.620 I know people like mumble rap.

00:18:12.280 I'm not going to rag on anybody.

00:18:13.720 I like pop punk.

00:18:15.040 You can rag on Blink-182.

00:18:17.000 Come on.

00:18:18.160 I miss you.

00:18:19.680 What is it?

00:18:20.200 One more time.

00:18:21.400 I'm a fan, even though they're not particularly good live.

00:18:23.620 Hey, sorry, guys. 0.97

00:18:25.380 People are going to be like, you listen to dumb music, Tim. 0.97

00:18:27.100 Yeah, sure. 0.99

00:18:27.920 You know what I mean?

00:18:28.340 We're all allowed to like different things.

00:18:29.640 The point is he's a politically divisive individual.

00:18:33.580 This is what creates the bifurcation where you get a TPUSA halftime show.

00:18:38.240 Yahoo says, six bad bunny halftime show political Easter eggs.

00:18:42.620 Oh, Easter.

00:18:43.780 No, it's overt political division.

00:18:45.280 Sorry.

00:18:46.040 Now, some of it isn't as divisive, like mentioning their power outages.

00:18:49.860 That's kind of highlighting just the corruption of Puerto Rico.

00:18:51.860 But some of it is colonization.

00:18:55.040 Ricky Martin singing.

00:18:57.820 Martin sang a verse of Lo Que Le Paso a Hawaii, a song on the singer's Debi Tirar Mas Fotos,

00:19:06.720 which compares Puerto Rico's colonization to Hawaii's and the island's gentrification and

00:19:11.340 potential U.S. statehood.

00:19:13.580 Hyperpolitical.

00:19:15.000 And by all means, you can say it's not meant to be insulting or offensive.

00:19:18.860 Politics is going to offend somebody.

00:19:20.620 That's the point.

00:19:21.360 This is politically divisive stuff.

00:19:23.940 Bad Bunny opens with a backdrop of sugarcane fields.

00:19:27.040 It's a reference to field workers in Pava Straw Hats and colonization of Puerto Rico.

00:19:32.940 Not overly divisive.

00:19:34.420 And I don't actually see any issue with this at all.

00:19:37.860 They harvest sugarcane in Puerto Rico.

00:19:40.080 OK.

00:19:40.960 Sugarcane's fantastic.

00:19:42.280 There's no problem there.

00:19:44.080 You got climbing the power lines.

00:19:46.920 Yep.

00:19:47.580 The poles exploded. 0.97

00:19:48.560 That's him ragging on Puerto Rico.

00:19:50.700 I'm fine with that.

00:19:53.020 And then the original Puerto Rican flag.

00:19:55.380 Divisive.

00:19:56.300 This is the typically associated with sovereignty and political independence, not for support

00:20:04.140 for the United States.

00:20:05.480 He's not coming out and saying, I love America.

00:20:07.840 He's coming out and saying Puerto Rico with a symbol of Puerto Rican independence.

00:20:12.300 Again, it's insulting to Americans, especially when I say something like, let's get Puerto 1.00

00:20:17.780 Rican representation in the United States. 1.00

00:20:19.120 So people stop saying stupid things like Puerto Rican immigrant. 1.00

00:20:21.740 Even I can't remember which. 1.00

00:20:22.920 I was on like Grok and JTBT and they were like, he moved the U.S. from Puerto Rico.

00:20:26.540 I'm like, no, Puerto Rico is the U.S.

00:20:29.040 But now when he does stuff like this, if you want independence, fine, brother.

00:20:32.780 Take it.

00:20:33.740 Take your independence.

00:20:36.120 He acknowledges Toñita, the owner of the famous Puerto Rican social club.

00:20:40.020 Totally cool.

00:20:40.660 Totally acceptable.

00:20:41.300 No beef.

00:20:42.280 And the last one, singing God bless America.

00:20:45.420 And this is where he really spit in the faces of the majority of Americans.

00:20:49.720 Now, liberals are going to be like, yay, global citizen, one world, all this stuff.

00:20:52.960 And again, you're allowed to think that.

00:20:54.980 But a lot of Americans don't know and don't care.

00:20:58.040 Somewhat insular.

00:20:58.840 And they're going to say, why are you naming all these other countries with all these other

00:21:02.300 flags in a procession, marching forward like a migrant caravan?

00:21:07.340 These are not American flags.

00:21:08.940 And then the media is like, but the American flag is front and center.

00:21:11.620 That's not the issue.

00:21:12.880 The issue is the NFL is America.

00:21:15.380 People don't play football in other countries.

00:21:16.720 You want to do soccer, do soccer.

00:21:17.840 We have the World Cup.

00:21:19.100 This one was American.

00:21:20.400 But I tell you, my friends, it was always going to be this, that a corporation is going

00:21:26.180 to say, how can we make money?

00:21:28.960 A new low for the NFL.

00:21:30.440 Bad Bunny featured two men simulating dry humping each other.

00:21:34.420 Yeah, there's that too.

00:21:36.940 That was grinding people's gears.

00:21:39.120 I already showed you this video.

00:21:40.900 Jack Posted it.

00:21:41.720 The majority of Super Bowl audience during the halftime show.

00:21:43.680 They're not into it.

00:21:44.780 If they, man, I'm going to tell you guys, okay?

00:21:48.600 I'm going to tell you guys.

00:21:49.700 You've heard me tell this story before, and you know it's true.

00:21:52.800 I'm like, I got a new story for you, actually.

00:21:54.520 I'll give you the quick version.

00:21:55.220 I was at a bar.

00:21:55.880 We were playing pool.

00:21:56.600 It's called Long Shots.

00:21:57.440 I recommend you guys go play pool at Long Shots in West Virginia if you ever get a chance.

00:22:02.300 And I went to the jukebox, and I put on Bohemian Rhapsody.

00:22:05.440 Every single person in the bar started singing.

00:22:08.580 Not like literally everyone, but basically everybody was singing.

00:22:11.020 You turn on Bohemian Rhapsody, everybody sings.

00:22:15.520 And it's so much fun.

00:22:17.540 It's so much fun.

00:22:18.220 And that's America right there.

00:22:19.360 That's American culture right there.

00:22:21.960 And then you, I know, I know.

00:22:24.500 He was Iranian.

00:22:25.680 But I know then when the song ends, it cuts to some like top 40 hip-hop song.

00:22:30.600 Everybody breaks.

00:22:31.780 Nobody's singing together anymore.

00:22:33.420 That's kind of sad.

00:22:33.900 We went to a resort over the holiday break.

00:22:38.700 And I was hanging out with my boy Richie, Richie Jackson.

00:22:42.240 And we were in a hot tub in the winter.

00:22:45.160 Amazing.

00:22:46.120 I recommend you guys go to Nemecolin if you ever get the chance.

00:22:49.160 It's one of my favorite places.

00:22:50.320 And Richie makes a joke to another, one of our friends, saying, open your eyes.

00:22:58.040 And then I said, look up to the sky and see.

00:23:02.660 And then guess what happened?

00:23:05.540 The whole hot tub starts singing Bohemian Rhapsody.

00:23:08.980 I mean, that's what I'm talking about, baby.

00:23:11.800 And at first I was like, uh-oh.

00:23:13.900 And then I was like, here we go.

00:23:15.280 I'm just a poor boy.

00:23:18.100 I need no sympathy.

00:23:20.820 Some lady starts singing.

00:23:22.140 Some guy with his kid starts singing.

00:23:23.960 Everybody just knows and loves that song.

00:23:27.100 I'm not saying you do the Super Bowl Halftime Show every single time with Bohemian Rhapsody.

00:23:30.720 But the point is that there is music that connects us all as people.

00:23:34.720 And Bad Bunny does not have it.

00:23:37.780 You want to march with all the flags?

00:23:39.440 Please play the song that everybody sings together.

00:23:44.040 And don't change the lyrics.

00:23:45.720 Don't make it political.

00:23:47.940 That's what you get with Bad Bunny, though, I guess.

00:23:50.500 Rich Barrett says Google Trends show the interest over the last 24 hours for Halftime Show and the Turning Point Halftime Show.

00:23:57.980 Super Bowl Halftime Show and Turning Point Halftime Show.

00:24:02.740 Woo-wee.

00:24:04.040 The search volume was tremendously larger.

00:24:06.700 Now, there's a reason for this.

00:24:07.800 It's fairly obvious.

00:24:08.480 If you're going to watch Turning Point, you're largely watching on the Internet.

00:24:11.480 Even if it's on your TV, it's online.

00:24:14.020 You're searching for it.

00:24:15.280 So you're going to get a massive spike.

00:24:16.760 But there's something that matters.

00:24:18.400 I'm going to explain something to you about how fake, how fake the music industry is.

00:24:21.780 So we released a song called Together Again as a cover of the Daily Wire song, Jeremy Boring's Together Again.

00:24:29.260 It's the biggest song we ever released.

00:24:31.060 As you may or may not know, I actually released several songs, Tim K's music.

00:24:34.980 And I think, like, I don't know how many released.

00:24:37.820 What are we, like eight or nine?

00:24:39.040 I don't know.

00:24:39.260 Most of them charted on Billboard.

00:24:41.360 And so we wanted to make sure that with this song, this cover, it was a parody of Modern Synthwave with a song written by Jeremy Boring and Michael.

00:24:49.820 I believe Jeremy Boring performed by Michael Knowles.

00:24:51.860 I don't know.

00:24:52.240 They may have both contributed.

00:25:44.380 And so we did everything in our power to make sure it was tracked properly to properly chart.

00:25:49.540 And we should have hit the Hot 100.

00:25:52.840 I say spiritually we did because we sold over 30,000 singles in a week, and we got something like 12 million streams.

00:26:01.140 And so with each sale, we'd be looking at, I think we're looking at, you know, I don't know, 20 million streams.

00:26:09.400 Not like a platinum hit or anything like that, but definitely charting for the week.

00:26:12.120 And we only charted on, like, emerging artists and sales.

00:26:17.100 And not even the top of sales, even though we had the number one selling single for that week.

00:26:21.460 We were told that the way we sold didn't count anymore.

00:26:24.360 And we were told by these libs that sales don't matter. 0.93

00:26:27.640 Nobody buys music.

00:26:29.100 That is a lie.

00:26:31.260 Here's the lie.

00:26:32.940 If the record industry could sell records, they would.

00:26:37.260 They've lost the ability to.

00:26:40.100 Still, there are artists that will sell 300,000 albums at launch.

00:26:44.600 We only did 30-something thousand of one single.

00:26:47.520 I'm not pretending to be Bruno Mars or anybody.

00:26:49.980 But sales do happen and matter.

00:26:52.560 People still do buy songs.

00:26:55.940 It's mostly going away, however.

00:26:58.320 Streaming is taking over.

00:26:59.400 So here's the trick.

00:27:01.940 Many of these songs that you think are the top streams, it's because they auto-play them.

00:27:07.500 That's it.

00:27:08.600 The record label says there's a limited shelf space for auto-play.

00:27:11.940 It's not like YouTube.

00:27:12.860 On YouTube, you open it.

00:27:14.460 You can scroll until you click something you like.

00:27:16.860 On Spotify and Pandora and these other streamers, you press play and you put your phone down and the music plays.

00:27:22.940 That means there's a finite amount of time in the day.

00:27:27.040 Certainly, people do search for music that they do like.

00:27:28.820 So there is something algorithmic to it.

00:27:30.800 Here's the point.

00:27:32.480 It means substantially more that people were searching for turning point as opposed to passively listening to Bad Bunny.

00:27:42.920 Now, people are going to know Bad Bunny.

00:27:44.620 And he's going to get a lot of streams in combination with they prop him up and then people come back.

00:27:49.280 But I guarantee you, you could take any artist, put them on the front page of YouTube, and this person is going to make money.

00:27:56.940 It's just the way it works.

00:27:58.400 Natural pull, we call it in the music industry for, like, venues.

00:28:00.800 So if you're going to play a show at a bar, the bar wants to know, are you going to bring people in?

00:28:06.040 Or are you just standard entertainment for the natural pull?

00:28:09.560 New artists want to go to venues where people show up to watch shows anyway because it's a Friday night.

00:28:15.700 Venues want artists to bring people in.

00:28:18.020 So if you're a mid-level touring band, you might bring in 300 people to a venue.

00:28:22.340 They're going to be very happy.

00:28:23.740 Or you're an entry-level opening act, and you're hoping that the bar will naturally just have 100 people there.

00:28:30.760 Bad Bunny may have gotten a mass amount of viewership, but it's not because people wanted to listen to it.

00:28:35.020 It was marketing.

00:28:36.320 Turning point marketed, and everybody was searching because they heard about it.

00:28:39.980 It's substantially more valuable for people to directly engage than to passively absorb.

00:28:45.160 And another really great way to understand this is if you look at general advertising.

00:28:49.060 It is substantially more expensive to get an individual to do a read for you and personally shout your product out as it is to just put up a picture and say bye.

00:28:58.620 Check this out.

00:29:00.140 We'll round it out with this.

00:29:01.720 This guy is not too happy.

00:29:03.380 He should have been celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States of America at that halftime.

00:29:09.980 Joe, when I went to school, I was taught English.

00:29:13.620 I wasn't taught Spanish, so I don't know a word he was saying.

00:29:18.280 You know, the United States of America were an English-speaking language.

00:29:23.820 They should have at least put a closed caption on there or something so you could understand what they were saying.

00:29:29.720 That's a really great non-political point.

00:29:33.360 So if I pull up Despacito, you've got English translations in the song.

00:29:38.300 I've got to be honest.

00:29:39.160 I don't even really need it.

00:29:40.680 I don't even care if you sing words.

00:29:42.400 You could literally say la-la-la.

00:29:44.200 Despacito is a good song.

00:29:45.920 Bad Bunny doesn't have any songs.

00:29:47.820 No, I get it. 0.98

00:29:48.540 I'm being a little bit of dick. 0.99

00:29:49.680 It's rap. 0.99

00:29:50.440 I like rap.

00:29:51.140 I'm not one of these people who like rap songs.

00:29:52.220 Rap is absolutely music.

00:29:53.260 I'm a big fan of a lot of rap.

00:29:54.960 But this was just boom, boom, boom, boom, and there's nothing to it.

00:29:58.220 There's nothing that I can latch on to.

00:29:59.520 And the dancing, I've seen the same thing at a strip show, just with the clothes on, the way they were doing on TV.

00:30:10.620 I'm going to push back.

00:30:11.720 The dancing was fine.

00:30:12.960 It was very Latin, big beat, fine dancing.

00:30:16.920 There's a reason for that.

00:30:18.960 All right.

00:30:19.800 And here's Tick.

00:30:20.620 I got no problem with the dancing.

00:30:22.500 None whatsoever.

00:30:24.340 It is what it is.

00:30:25.880 Milo.

00:30:27.360 Milo.

00:30:28.580 You know, everybody, Milo, I love you, brother.

00:30:31.200 Everybody hates, they're ragging on Milo.

00:30:33.720 He's fighting with Dan Bongino.

00:30:35.600 I get people asking me, like, why do you have Milo on?

00:30:39.400 Milo is Milo, guys.

00:30:41.280 You know, he is a known quantity, and he's an imperfect actor, but I don't know.

00:30:49.580 You can rag on him all day for all the bad things he said.

00:30:51.860 In the end, I think that he, as much as we disagree, especially on things like this, I generally do think he does good.

00:31:01.720 I don't know.

00:31:03.180 I don't know.

00:31:04.100 I'm sorry.

00:31:05.900 Milo, Milo is a friend of mine and will always be welcome to come on my show, and we always tell him to just be on his best behavior.

00:31:11.740 But he's been divisive, and he made this post.

00:31:13.820 And the reason why I bring that up is because he's ragging on Turning Point, accusing them of botting, saying,

00:31:18.100 This one thing you can't fake on YouTube is comments, if you had 5 million live viewers, you would expect the view count to be something like 15 million as soon as it finishes, after processing maybe 60 million.

00:31:26.800 Oh, dear.

00:31:27.920 Incorrect.

00:31:29.320 Not correct.

00:31:31.020 So he shows the comments are 175, and within an hour, it's 5,839, especially for a very, very, very, very large show, notably the biggest views ever.

00:31:40.180 It absolutely is going to lag.

00:31:41.840 That's just—that's true.

00:31:43.300 And right now, it's sitting in around 20 or so million on YouTube.

00:31:47.180 You're not botting those.

00:31:48.500 It's not fake views.

00:31:49.340 You can see the likes, 600,000, 7,000.

00:31:52.060 So I responded, and Milo, he did say they stumbled at big events.

00:31:56.320 I guess we'll have to wait and see.

00:31:57.420 And he did ultimately respond with his information—like, look, guys, Milo could be wrong about things.

00:32:03.160 That was always allowed.

00:32:03.880 He says, I was wrong about this.

00:32:05.080 I'm going to back off on it.

00:32:06.460 Maybe I'm wrong.

00:32:07.080 I say, yeah.

00:32:07.900 Because I responded with, live chat or not comments.

00:32:11.020 After a stream ends, YouTube gives you a total viewership, and it has to process.

00:32:14.400 Comments will start at zero.

00:32:15.740 So you can actually see massive difference between VOD views, comments, versus lives.

00:32:19.480 So basically what happens is, for Tim Castile, especially, we usually get—I think we do, like, 130,000 total views in the first live portion of the show.

00:32:30.200 And then it ends up at around, you know, between 200 and 300.

00:32:33.760 It just depends.

00:32:34.540 And we're in the offseason right now.

00:32:36.720 Some days, like, during the election, it was millions.

00:32:41.020 It was, like, half a million.

00:32:41.720 It was, like, some crazy numbers.

00:32:43.540 That's just on YouTube alone.

00:32:45.120 On Rumble, it's comparable, but slightly higher.

00:32:47.780 Uh, because Rumble promotes the show.

00:32:50.840 YouTube doesn't.

00:32:52.420 So Rumble and YouTube are actually comparable in terms of viewership.

00:32:56.160 Uh, they actually rival concurrent viewership, but Rumble's actually promoting the show to help it grow.

00:33:02.160 So what happens is when the show ends, there's zero comments.

00:33:05.360 Even though it will say 50,000 views or something.

00:33:09.460 For a big show, you're going to have a massive discrepancy.

00:33:11.940 I do not believe they bought it for a variety of reasons.

00:33:14.740 It would be ridiculously expensive to do.

00:33:17.480 Candace Owens says, 0.99

00:33:19.540 The problem with people who have a lot of money they didn't earn is they tend to have no idea how stuff actually works.

00:33:24.640 No, this is not a possible result if you truly had 5.2 million live viewers.

00:33:28.860 Sorry, America. 0.92

00:33:29.580 Everything is still fake and gay until further notice. 1.00

00:33:31.580 That's just wrong.

00:33:33.980 10, 16 minutes after the stream wrapped, there was 10,000 views.

00:33:37.860 Sounds about right.

00:33:38.520 And then you have, um, Milo's one hour at 500 because they're getting different numbers based on their YouTube.

00:33:45.180 That's just it.

00:33:46.020 They're both showing something different.

00:33:49.400 I'm sorry.

00:33:50.980 It's, it's likely real.

00:33:53.760 You know, people want to believe what they want to believe.

00:33:57.840 And certainly I will respect Candace saying everything is fake and gay because it largely is. 1.00

00:34:03.040 Guys, botting 6 million viewers would be the stupidest thing imaginable. 0.99

00:34:06.680 YouTube would block it in two seconds and it would be insanely expensive. 0.87

00:34:09.940 I don't even know if botting to that level exists.

00:34:13.080 Seriously.

00:34:13.860 Typically, these people on Twitch do like, they bot like 50 to 100K sometimes.

00:34:17.920 And that's insanely expensive.

00:34:20.020 It really is.

00:34:21.360 The truth is, my friends, they did it.

00:34:25.200 They hit number one.

00:34:26.840 The biggest YouTube live event ever done.

00:34:30.300 I don't think they realized how big it was going to be because I think they probably would have sold some sponsorships because that is money in the bank.

00:34:39.900 You could probably sell sponsorships here for millions of dollars with that kind of viewership.

00:34:44.240 It's a message to the NFL.

00:34:46.720 They need to play it straight.

00:34:49.020 And I got no problem with Bad Bunny being at the NFL, but they got to mix it up.

00:34:54.620 They can't just have some guy nobody knows.

00:34:57.820 You got to have Bad Bunny with somebody else. 0.79

00:35:01.780 I'm going to put it there, my friend.
