00:00:00.460 There's more to life than finding the perfect car.
00:00:03.980 But finding the perfect car can help you get the most out of life.
00:00:08.180 Like the SUV that handles everything from drop-off to off-road.
00:00:12.160 And the car that hauls groceries and hockey teams.
00:00:15.160 Or the van that's gone from just practical to practically family.
00:00:19.740 Whatever you want, wherever you're going, start your search at autotrader.ca.
00:00:26.420 Canada's car marketplace.
00:00:30.000 The dream of the American Democratic election is over, my friends.
00:00:35.560 What we have now is not the popular choice, but the procedural one.
00:00:40.700 In Virginia today, a vote is happening to redistrict the state in a way that is insanely
00:00:46.780 evil.
00:00:48.660 It's the only way I can describe it.
00:00:50.180 It would put five congressional districts in one city, which seems to make literally
00:00:57.120 no sense.
00:00:58.240 The goal of which is to add two to four new Democrat seats to Congress in D.C.
00:01:04.960 Now, I can already hear many Democrats saying, yes, Republicans started in Texas.
00:01:10.020 I'll give you that one.
00:01:11.600 It was countered by Democrats in California, but this would put them over the edge.
00:01:17.100 Now, the reason why I say this is so egregious is that when you take a look at redistricting
00:01:21.100 efforts in the red states, it wasn't so overt that they would put five congressional seats
00:01:27.560 in one city like they're doing in Virginia. And more importantly, there's a bigger issue at play
00:01:33.320 with Democrats already having extra seats due to illegal immigration. So if the response to
00:01:40.640 massive illegal immigration granting Democrats extra seats is Republicans saying we are going
00:01:45.980 to redistrict and make districts that fit more fairly in our state, Democrats get upset and
00:01:51.680 counter, what we have is a tit for tat where from the get go, Democrats have been getting
00:01:57.220 extra electoral college votes and congressional seats in the states where they protect illegal
00:02:03.340 immigration. Now, listen, I'll try to be fair. Everybody is playing some dirty game. Politics
00:02:10.380 is a dirty game and Republicans get no special benefits from me. The reality is we do not have
00:02:17.720 popular votes anymore. We have procedural votes, which means all that really matters to either
00:02:23.900 political party is, can they justify getting a higher number than the other person at the end
00:02:29.300 of the day? Trump has a nuclear option. Many are now advocating and have been for some time
00:02:35.280 for D.C. to reclaim Arlington. And I'm going to go ahead and say outside of any of the politicking,
00:02:44.140 They should.
00:02:46.020 D.C. was initially a square.
00:02:49.380 It was intended to be a federal jurisdiction free from the influence of outside states.
00:02:54.920 But we decided to cut off a huge chunk and turn it into an almost square.
00:03:00.040 Thus, Arlington became part of Virginia.
00:03:02.480 But it is supposed to be a square federal jurisdiction.
00:03:06.400 So the federal government can operate without any other state imposing its will upon it.
00:03:11.540 by carving out Arlington. We failed to do just that. And so it makes no sense. Now,
00:03:18.020 I would argue we should restore the square back to D.C. This would inhibit much of the
00:03:25.260 redistricting scheme we're seeing in Virginia. And to the benefit of Democrats, it would make
00:03:31.000 Washington, D.C., a federal jurisdiction, massively more Democrat. I mean, it's already 0.51
00:03:36.080 very Democrat. Putting Arlington into D.C. makes a ton of Democrats become residents of a federal
00:03:43.460 jurisdiction. Now, don't you want that, Democrats? Isn't that good? Make all the arguments you want.
00:03:49.060 It's not clear cut that this nuclear option Trump might actually activate is going to be a net
00:03:54.660 benefit in the long run. But functionally, it's what should be and it should never have changed
00:03:59.720 in the first place. So let's take a look at a couple of things here. The breakdown of the map,
00:04:04.420 who's right and who's wrong and whether or not. I mean, guys, I just got to say it like this.
00:04:11.220 The end is nigh. The fact that this vote is happening right now in Virginia,
00:04:15.600 it just means that we are done debating. We are now at the phase in whatever you want to call
00:04:21.900 what's going on. We're at the point where we're arguing to seize land and eliminate the voices
00:04:28.480 of half the state. You see, Virginia, it's about, I think, what, 52 percent Democrat.
00:04:36.320 And the current makeup, I could be getting the numbers wrong, but I believe it's around half,
00:04:39.900 slightly more. It's a purple state than a Republican governor for a while now, Democrat.
00:04:44.140 Around half the state is about Democrat, and they want to make every congressional district,
00:04:49.460 but one Democrat. That would be eliminating the voices of those that are conservative in the
00:04:56.260 state. Let's break down exactly what's going on with this vote. By the time you're watching this,
00:05:01.000 some of you, it may have already concluded, but we're going to break this down for you all watching
00:05:04.280 live now at 4 p.m. Before we do, my friends, we got a great sponsor. It's ourselves. It's
00:05:09.640 castbrew.com. Check out what we got, my friends. We've got, check it out, influencers. We got a
00:05:15.620 bunch of different coffee from everybody you know and love. Ian's Graphene Dream, low acidity.
00:05:20.420 Josie's 1776 Signature Brew.
00:05:23.260 Two weeks till Christmas, we got Mary's S'mores,
00:05:25.880 Seamus Coughlin, and Dr. Alex Stein's
00:05:28.220 Big Booty Latina Love Potion.
00:05:29.760 He is not a doctor, by the way.
00:05:31.280 It's funny.
00:05:32.460 But I would always shout out our Appalachian Knights
00:05:35.900 or Ian's Graphene Dream.
00:05:37.900 Guys, I gotta be honest, one of our best sellers,
00:05:39.720 it's low acidity, so if you get a stomachache
00:05:41.160 drinking too much coffee, some people do,
00:05:42.780 you can check out Ian's Graphene Dream,
00:05:44.520 which is our second most popular coffee blend.
00:05:48.220 But let's jump to the news and get started here with The New York Times proposed districts
00:05:54.120 in northern Virginia how both parties are slicing urban areas to tilt the house.
00:06:00.800 Indeed, it's true that both parties are.
00:06:02.880 But I want to start with this tweet, actually, from Luke Rosiak, who says,
00:06:08.080 Virginia Democrats say they aren't the bad guys.
00:06:10.600 They're just responding to a Texas gerrymandering.
00:06:13.840 But Texas's proposed map, plus 21 percent, is less of a gerrymander than the maps of
00:06:18.940 California, Washington, and Maryland, and is similar to New York.
00:06:24.440 And this is the point that I was making in the intro.
00:06:26.540 The Republican redistricting is a response to what Democrats have already been doing
00:06:31.920 to maintain their illicit edge.
00:06:34.420 Democrats are trying to change it once again.
00:06:36.880 So you can take a look at this graph that he's showing.
00:06:39.380 Republicans are underrepresented.
00:06:41.160 Democrats are overrepresented everywhere. And don't get me started. I haven't even gotten to
00:06:46.580 the illegal immigration question yet. When the Republicans were in charge, they voluntarily
00:06:51.540 held a vote to move to nonpartisan redistricting, which was passed by voters of two third support.
00:06:56.840 Now that Dems won by one percent, they're citing Texas as moral justification for undoing that map
00:07:04.620 for a 10 to one pro Democrat map. He says Virginia currently has mathematically perfect
00:07:10.300 fair congressional maps. 55% of the seats and 52% of the popular vote. Close to parity as you can
00:07:16.980 get with 11 seats. Democrats are asking voters today whether actual, actual ballot language,
00:07:23.620 they want to restore fairness by making this. We call this, my friends, the lobster. The lobster.
00:07:30.880 They have created the lobster map with an urban tale of dense Democrat in Arlington to eliminate
00:07:38.840 the entire section of Republican. And that's just the beginning. When you take a look at the actual
00:07:45.580 map, we jump over to the New York Times, you can see that we've got one, two, three, four, five. 0.83
00:07:52.180 Holy crap. Five congressional districts in Arlington, Fairfax County, to be fair,
00:07:59.500 because the 10th is a little outside of Arlington. What they have done with this map, you can see in
00:08:04.720 this tweet. This district stretching a tiny, thin strip in Arlington, all of these districts
00:08:11.080 connecting to Arlington in an effort to make five Democrat seats from what should be mixed areas.
00:08:20.740 They will eliminate all but one Republican district. And Virginia is largely conservative
00:08:28.660 of leaning in the outskirts and even fairly moderate in many areas. We are right here in
00:08:35.020 the eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, about 30 seconds to a minute to Loudoun County. Well,
00:08:39.720 to be fair, yeah, our studio, it's like a minute from Loudoun County and also Frederick County,
00:08:45.620 which is like Winchester and fairly moderate. You'll find a mixed bag. People aren't really
00:08:50.740 fighting all that much. They're not the deep culture wars like California or say, you know,
00:08:55.880 like Iowa, I guess. This map will disenfranchise half the state. That's evil. That's wrong.
00:09:04.620 And they're doing it under the guise of Texas gerrymandering. The only problem is that Democrats
00:09:10.880 have long already done this. I'd like to bring up Illinois for you. The Illinois congressional
00:09:16.540 districts to map that I love to show. We love to show it to prove the point. Let's let's zoom in.
00:09:22.320 Nope, let's not do that. Let's. I don't want to download it. I just want. OK, anyway, you'll guess I'll do it. I'm trying to zoom in. It won't let me. It won't let me zoom in. OK, thanks. Well, this is good enough. You can see it, right? You take a look here at the 13. 13th Congressional District combines Champaign, Springfield and East St. Louis to create a Democrat district slicing the 15th in half.
00:09:48.620 because if they actually just said these are the areas your city is included in the rural area,
00:09:53.580 they would be Republican. The Illinois map is one of the most disgusting gerrymandered pieces of
00:09:59.340 garbage. Look at this one, 17, stretching from Bloomington, Peoria, wrapping around and connecting 0.99
00:10:05.520 Rockford. Why is Bloomington in the same congressional district as Rockford? Because
00:10:11.620 they're creating Democrat districts to cheat. Here's the New York Times. Here's how they frame
00:10:16.520 American cities, densely populated and overwhelmingly Democratic, are typically prime targets for aggressive gerrymanders.
00:10:24.640 This past year has been no different as urban areas become casualties of newly partisan maps drawn by both Republicans and Democrats in a rare bout of mid-decade, I made one word, mid-decade redistricting.
00:10:36.880 With nearly 80 percent of the U.S. population living in urban areas, according to census, map makers using modern data technology can surgically split cities block by block to eke out a partisan advantage.
00:10:48.300 They pack like minded voters into a single district or crack them.
00:10:52.900 So far this year, state lawmakers have carved up major Democratic cities in the nationwide registering arms race, drawing new maps in five states.
00:11:00.860 We can take a look at this one.
00:11:02.040 This is Kansas City, Missouri, for instance.
00:11:04.640 Take Kansas City, Missouri.
00:11:06.180 Late last year, Governor Mike Cahoe signed into law a new map that would pave the way
00:11:09.960 for eliminating a Democratic seat and adding a Republican one, potentially ousting a longtime
00:11:14.220 rep, Emanuel Cleaver, who was also the first black mayor of Kansas.
00:11:17.800 Take a look at this.
00:11:19.320 Wrong.
00:11:19.840 I'm not a fan of this. 1.00
00:11:21.420 Look at this stupid thin strip that makes literally no sense other than for partisan 1.00
00:11:26.080 power and control. 1.00
00:11:28.280 Turning this district into a Republican one, or at least that's the attempt.
00:11:33.760 The proposed map effectively slices apart or cracks the old 5th District, which previously held the majority of Democratic-dominated Kansas City and metropolitan area, into three parts.
00:11:43.340 Originally, you had a Democrat district and two strong Republicans.
00:11:46.260 Now you have three Republican districts.
00:11:49.120 As a result, Democratic voters in Kansas are spread out across three new districts.
00:11:52.580 Again, it's all just one big game. 0.57
00:11:55.580 But take a look at Virginia.
00:11:59.220 Oh boy, I'm excited.
00:12:00.620 This is probably the worst.
00:12:01.920 They say, well, Missouri illustrates how a single district can be cracked apart to dilute the votes.
00:12:06.980 Virginia is taking a different approach.
00:12:08.900 Its proposed map spreads out Democrats from the crammed northern Virginia suburbs into multiple districts spreading more than 100 miles into deeply red areas for the opposite outcome to tilt them blue.
00:12:20.440 Where it is right now, you've got the 8th, which is Alexandria, the 11th, Alexandria, the 10th, suburbs and outskirts of Alexandria, the 7th, south of Alexandria, and then the 6th separate.
00:12:35.740 The new map combines five districts into just Alexandria to create five new Democrat seats and eliminate the Republicans.
00:12:44.360 They say, while there is no central city in northern Virginia, Fairfax County, the state's largest municipality boasts 1.2 million, but sprawls across 400 square miles.
00:12:54.860 The northern reaches out of the state, northern reaches of the state have population in the millions and are mostly Democratic.
00:13:00.580 Take a look at this.
00:13:01.100 So in this area, they're eliminating two strong Democrat seats and eliminating one Republican seat to create five kind of Democrat seats, which are they're down plus eight, plus seven.
00:13:15.920 It's eliminating one Republican seat by getting rid of strong Democrat seats.
00:13:21.460 The argument, however, in favor of this strong Democrat seats go far left.
00:13:27.400 The redistricting effort actually could force Democrats to somewhat moderate as the Republicans 0.93
00:13:32.680 in these districts will not vote for a lunatic. So in the primaries, you might actually see a
00:13:38.880 long term benefit. I'd like to imagine that'd be the case. But considering where we're going,
00:13:45.040 I don't actually think so. They highlight Houston, for instance. In Houston, they have eliminated
00:13:51.000 one Democrat seat for a Republican seat by shifting this into stronger Democrat seats.
00:13:56.180 The problem with this is the inverse. You create entrenched communist areas. All of this is bad.
00:14:03.540 I think we should largely have flat districts because you want Democrats to have to court
00:14:08.300 Republicans or Republicans to court Democrats. You want moderation. This is, my friends,
00:14:13.980 functional and political hyperpolarization. And it's only going to get worse.
00:14:19.560 The New York Times had this article from also from today. Virginia voting today on a map that
00:14:25.900 could hand four House seats to Democrats. The problem with everything we have. First,
00:14:32.020 this is hyperpolarization, as I've mentioned. By creating new Republican seats, you are basically
00:14:38.140 saying in Congress, you are going to have far left and far right, and they will never agree.
00:14:44.640 That's what Virginia is doing right now by creating all these districts,
00:14:47.980 by shifting them. The potential argument, as I just mentioned, is that by diluting the strong
00:14:54.760 Democrat seats into weak Democrat seats to kick out the Republicans, you will end up with Democrats
00:14:59.720 having to court some Republicans and moderating their position, which some Republicans might
00:15:04.460 actually find somewhat more acceptable. But in Congress, they will vote in lockstep.
00:15:10.340 The same is true for Republican districts. So in Congress, they're going to vote for,
00:15:14.660 you know, abortion to the point of birth, gun bans, things like that. They may they may look
00:15:20.720 more moderate on paper or at least in the press, people like John Fetterman, the end result will
00:15:25.120 be in the votes. Leadership will mandate whack-a-loon crazy policies. Politico says Democrats
00:15:33.120 brace for a close finish on Virginia redistricting effort. They might actually they might not actually
00:15:38.620 win, though. If approved, the effort could deliver a 10 to one seat advantage. And I want to show you
00:15:43.180 some tweets we have. I think Brad Todd says, how do you rig an election? You'll rig the question.
00:15:48.520 Look at the ballot asking Virginians to flip a 6D5R congressional map into 10D1R,
00:15:55.400 breaking up every region of the Commonwealth.
00:15:58.220 The ballot says to restore fairness.
00:16:00.580 The question reads, should the Constitution of Virginia be amended to allow the General
00:16:05.920 Assembly to temporarily adopt new congressional districts to restore fairness in the upcoming
00:16:10.920 elections while ensuring Virginia's standard redistricting process resumes for all future
00:16:16.720 redistricting after the 2030 census. Fairness. I was in Virginia a couple weeks ago. I mean,
00:16:23.680 I'm in Virginia like every day, to be honest, because it's across the street. You know,
00:16:28.320 in the Eastern Panhandle, seriously, when you go to a restaurant, you drive to Virginia.
00:16:31.760 Crossing the state line is not that big of a deal. We do it every single day. Seriously,
00:16:34.440 the gas station, like our gas station, we're equally distant from a Virginia gas station and
00:16:39.740 a West Virginia one. So sometimes we go to Virginia. I saw a commercial and it said that
00:16:45.860 it did not mention redistricting. It literally just said we should have fair elections. And if
00:16:50.680 you believe elections should be fair, vote yes on the post amendment. It didn't explain anything
00:16:55.540 but the national scale or stage. It didn't explain anything about eliminating Republican seats. It
00:17:00.540 just said, should things be fair? And you know what? Dumb people, they're going to go in and
00:17:07.560 they're going to say yes. I want to show you this. Let's break down the argument, who is right and 1.00
00:17:14.920 who is wrong. I'm not a big fan of the Republican Party. I think they're largely do nothing and
00:17:19.160 they're stodgy squares, suit wearing and lacking charisma. You heard me, Republicans. It's true,
00:17:25.880 and everyone knows it. Democrats, on the other hand, are unrepentant and steal power for personal
00:17:31.760 and political gain, even at the expense of the working class. You heard it, Democrats. At least
00:17:38.340 you got rock stars on your side and actors, though it is kind of changing. Third way,
00:17:45.500 which is funny because some use third ways a reference to like neo-fascism and communism,
00:17:50.140 but they said, is illegal immigration really a democratic plot to sway congressional importionment?
00:17:57.200 I made the point for some time, my friends. It is not about illegal immigrants voting.
00:18:01.420 Republicans are wrong about this. They say Democrats bring in illegal immigrants,
00:18:04.960 the illegal immigrants then vote, and that's how they steal elections. Wrong.
00:18:08.340 They bring in illegal immigrants and then they count them towards congressional seats and Democrats get extra congressional seats. 0.95
00:18:18.100 Then it's not about whether they vote or not. 0.67
00:18:20.840 In a presidential election, a blue state with extra congressional seats gets extra electoral college votes. 0.69
00:18:26.400 The question that is, with the shift in population size due to illegal immigrants, do red states lose seats or Republicans gain seats? 0.83
00:18:34.020 I'm sorry, red states lose seats and Democrats gain seats. 0.56
00:18:36.120 And if so, by how much?
00:18:38.340 The answer is quite a bit, actually.
00:18:42.180 Some estimates say about one.
00:18:43.960 Democrats gain one extra seat.
00:18:46.520 Some estimates say 11.
00:18:48.500 Depends on how you cut it.
00:18:50.100 But let's break down the manipulation and the lie. 0.99
00:18:54.080 I don't for one second just believe the individuals who wrote this article are dumb. 0.95
00:19:00.560 I think they're smart people. 0.97
00:19:01.540 And I think they understand full well how congressional seats work and the population
00:19:07.300 makeup and distribution of the United States.
00:19:10.200 So I wonder if any of you can catch the trick to obfuscating the Democrat scheme.
00:19:17.500 This article purports to be moderates.
00:19:20.880 They are not woke, but they're Democrats and they're debunking the lie that illegal
00:19:26.480 immigrants grant them extra seats.
00:19:27.940 They state in this paper, we surveyed the academic research and found the answer is no.
00:19:34.140 Illegal immigration is responsible for between zero and one additional Democratic representatives in the House based on the 2020 census.
00:19:41.980 Oh, God. For a second there, I thought Democrats were cheating by bringing in massive amounts of illegal immigration,
00:19:48.680 offering sanctuary city and state status and then counting them in the decennial census process to get extra seats.
00:19:56.060 But don't worry. They said no. I was worried for a second. OK, well, let's break down how they said
00:20:03.280 no. And I'm wondering if you can explain to me in the comments right now. Chat it up, guys,
00:20:09.940 exactly how they came to this conclusion. OK, how about this? According to the Center for
00:20:16.480 Immigration Studies, they state Alabama projected seats in twenty twenty six without undocumented
00:20:23.300 immigrants, it would be seven. Thus, they have lost a seat. California projected seats as 52
00:20:29.380 without illegals, 51. Thus, they gained a seat. As we can see from this, the end result is they 0.96
00:20:36.460 have a net gain of about one seat, according to the Center for Immigration Studies. Interesting.
00:20:41.540 It says Alabama would lose a seat. California would gain a seat. Minnesota loses a seat. New
00:20:46.440 York gains a seat. Ohio loses a seat. Texas gains a seat. So that means that in the end,
00:20:51.980 it's a one-seat advantage. According to Pew, it's actually moot. We can see that Alabama loses a
00:21:00.040 seat. California and Florida each gain a seat. Minnesota and Ohio each lose a seat. Texas gains
00:21:04.500 a seat. So it's between 0-1, right? It's not that big a deal. Illegal immigrants play almost no
00:21:10.720 role. Now with the Electoral College, okay. All right. Well, all right. They say that in 2002, 0.98
00:21:18.100 John Judas and Roy Texera authored The Emerging Democratic Majority, which argued, among other
00:21:24.060 factors, that the increase of non-white American citizens would give Democrats an enduring electoral
00:21:27.480 advantage in the future. This book was considered a roadmap for some Democrats and may have
00:21:31.240 inadvertently given rise to the far right conspiracy theory that Democrats are trying
00:21:34.240 to replace white people. Well, what I will stress is that Democrats have largely just said that it's
00:21:39.560 a benefit to them and they want more illegal immigrants because it does change the structure
00:21:43.780 of the electoral process. Now, my friends, have you figured it out? I've let you stew on it a 0.88
00:21:49.120 little bit. Can you understand how this is manipulated information to mislead people?
00:21:56.460 I largely do blame the Center for Immigration Studies for misunderstanding. That's fair and
00:22:02.640 that's fine. The third way then says if one state would lose a seat and one state would gain a seat,
00:22:09.200 it's moot, meaning Democrats get a zero advantage. Am I right? No. Congressional seats are not by
00:22:16.700 state. They're by district. And when districts are drawn up around urban centers where illegal
00:22:22.140 immigrants largely are, Democrats get a massive advantage. I'm going to I'm going to do this. 1.00
00:22:28.820 I'm going to you know, I didn't plan this in advance. I'm going to pull this up
00:22:30.960 and just say, how many illegal immigrants are in Fairfax County, Virginia?
00:22:38.520 Let's figure it out.
00:22:40.140 I'm sure there's not that many, right?
00:22:42.740 Grok is churning away.
00:22:45.020 It's browsing a bunch of different government websites right now,
00:22:47.840 and I'm pattering as it calculates.
00:22:50.440 102,000 unauthorized, undocumented illegal immigrants
00:22:55.460 living in the combined area of Fairfax County.
00:22:58.840 This means when you are trying to apportion a congressional seat, you get 100,000 extra
00:23:06.280 people in an urban area.
00:23:08.840 So when you are drafting up your congressional seats and you put them all cluttered around
00:23:14.160 a city and create a bunch of Democrat districts, that is how you are cheating.
00:23:19.480 So I have this from Grok where I asked it. 0.86
00:23:22.920 How many congressional seats do blue states get extra due to illegal immigrants?
00:23:26.740 blue states. And it says between zero and two. OK, let's scroll down to the next question. 0.76
00:23:33.260 And I said, following up with this, it's not about the whole state, though. It's about the
00:23:37.500 district. So if these illegal immigrants are centered in urban centers, Democrats get extra 0.99
00:23:42.180 seats. That's right. Even in red states. And there lies the point when they say that in Texas, 1.00
00:23:50.300 it's a Republican state getting an extra seat. This means that Republicans get an extra seat
00:23:54.640 and California, which is Democrat, gets an extra seat, then it's a moot point, isn't it?
00:23:59.800 No, because the extra seat in Texas is going to Austin because that's where most illegal 0.85
00:24:04.800 immigrants are. So an extra seat will emerge in the Austin area, creating a Democrat seat.
00:24:10.460 Now, you can make the argument for the Electoral College because the state as a whole is going to
00:24:14.360 vote where they're going. And a Democrat electoral voter in the Austin area will have to cast their
00:24:20.640 ballot for the Republican. But as far as Congress is concerned, breaking this up by state makes no
00:24:26.700 sense. If illegal immigrants are in urban centers and then we draw an extra congressional seat or 0.82
00:24:32.700 the state gets an extra congressional seat and they draw up in the Austin area, it's going to 0.91
00:24:37.960 a Democrat. So even red states gaining a seat does not mean Republicans are gaining extra seats.
00:24:45.100 That's the lie. And what does Grok say? Yeah, actually, you're right. When you are factoring
00:24:53.620 in the fact that it's urban centers, you're looking at around a two to four seat redistribution.
00:25:01.800 Democrats will get an extra two to four seats because even in red states. 0.99
00:25:09.020 That's where the illegal immigrants are going. Democrat controlled areas. Why? They're sanctuary 1.00
00:25:15.560 cities. They're not following federal law. They're protecting these people. So when it come time to,
00:25:22.940 I don't know, drop the congressional map, it's going to favor dense urban areas. So let's jump
00:25:29.300 back to how the New York Times broke this down. When we take a look at Fairfax County, to be fair,
00:25:34.680 100,000 out of 1.2 million, not really that much, about 8%, I suppose. The point is this,
00:25:43.880 it is going to factor into the state's entire distribution of congressional seats.
00:25:49.320 They will center these people in urban areas and then break it up to create dense Democrat areas.
00:25:56.580 If you do the same in a place like Houston, when the Republicans say, let's do this in Kansas City,
00:26:04.680 So let's do this. I'm going to ask Rock again. Let's see how many illegal immigrants are in
00:26:12.900 Kansas City. I'd imagine substantially less, right? Okay. Kansas City has an estimated 40,000
00:26:19.700 illegal immigrants. So if the Republicans say centering a congressional district in an urban
00:26:25.960 center because it has a dense population, because there's a lot of illegal immigrants, 0.51
00:26:31.540 It stands to reason, actually, we should gerrymander that district and reduce the influence of this district because we don't want to give them influence based on illegal immigration.
00:26:45.380 There is actually an argument to be made why it works for Republicans to gerrymander for that reason.
00:26:52.040 Democrats, on the other hand, what they're doing with Fairfax County seems to make literally no sense.
00:26:57.220 and congratulations on your lobster, the blue tailed lobster district, which makes no sense
00:27:03.400 at all. And therein lies the big problem in the end. Now, again, I don't think Republicans matter
00:27:09.080 anyway. What are they doing? Are they passing the SAVE Act? They're worthless. The end result is
00:27:13.940 it's the Harlem Globetrotters and the Washington generals. Republicans suck, get nothing done and 1.00
00:27:19.000 get trounced while Democrats steal power. The longest time Democrats have gotten extra seats 1.00
00:27:24.620 near urban centers because of illegal immigrant populations. Let's do a New York City. Let's do 1.00
00:27:30.840 same for New York City. New York City's got a massive illegal immigrant population, mind you. 0.94
00:27:36.960 The number, I think it's a couple hundred thousand, but let's get the hard number.
00:27:39.420 It is 222,000. Really? That's huge. And you got 150. Wow. It's actually much bigger than that.
00:27:48.540 Wait, what? Oh, I'm sorry. I was wrong. It's 836,000 in New York City. That means New York
00:27:57.560 City gets an extra congressional district because that's a whole district right there.
00:28:03.580 775,000. That's all you needed. They get a whole extra district. That means there is at least
00:28:09.140 one member of Congress, a Democrat who should not be in Congress, but they are because New York 0.99
00:28:14.620 brings in illegal immigrants. And the point is they're going to apportion it for New York City 1.00
00:28:20.560 specifically because New York City specifically has 836,000. They're not going to say we're going
00:28:27.960 to make one district of 2 million and then have a bunch of small districts of 300,000. That's how
00:28:32.280 it works. You get the point? So when Republicans say we're going to change how we district these
00:28:37.340 things, it makes sense. A little bit at least. Again, nobody's perfect. All is fair in love and
00:28:42.660 war. And I think the only real conclusion is that we are well past the point of actually making 0.98
00:28:47.300 arguments as to who is right about policy. We are now at the point with Virginia where we're
00:28:52.340 basically just saying, steal the power, crush your enemy. Where do we go next? If the Republicans
00:28:59.660 in Virginia have no voice and slowly have their rights stripped, what will they do? They will move
00:29:04.480 somewhat, but many will. They will move to red areas where their rights are protected. 0.77
00:29:09.700 We're seeing this already with many different states.
00:29:12.660 Texas being a great example of it.
00:29:14.880 The end result?
00:29:16.600 You have a red state that is so deep red and its neighbor is so deep blue, they are completely 0.98
00:29:22.120 foreign. 0.51
00:29:23.320 It's begun. 0.90
00:29:24.640 Colorado has abortion to the point of birth.
00:29:27.240 Elective. 1.00
00:29:27.820 A woman can walk into an abortion clinic at nine months and say, terminate the baby. 0.98
00:29:31.760 In Oklahoma, it's completely illegal. 0.91
00:29:35.240 This means that you can't get it for any reason.
00:29:37.080 They are viewing each other as completely alien, and it's going to hyperpolarize more and more because now there is no incentive in any of these states to actually pander to the other side.
00:29:50.940 The one benefit, as I mentioned early on with the ridiculous Virginia map, is that creating the weird lobster means that this Democrat will still have to pander to many Republicans, not the diehard MAGA guys, but the moderates.
00:30:07.080 because a primary will happen. In the primary, the Democrats are going to have to figure out
00:30:14.140 how to get as many votes as possible, and the rural areas are going to be paying attention.
00:30:19.980 Far-left Democrats won't do as well as moderates who can attract Republicans.
00:30:24.700 Republican voters are going to say, listen, it's going to be a Democrat. This is a Democrat
00:30:27.900 district now, so let's just go vote in the primary. It will cause a positive shift in that regard.
00:30:34.720 However, I'm not sure that it matters in the end because these Democrats, whether they're moderate or otherwise, are going to get into Congress in D.C. and vote in lockstep.
00:30:42.980 Of course, Trump's nuclear option, as I mentioned.
00:30:47.540 Make it a square again.
00:30:48.940 You take a look at this map and you take a look at D.C. right here and you make this square and you cut off what half a million people.
00:30:58.540 They're now residents of D.C. and these districts revert back to Republican.
00:31:03.660 D.C. should have remained a square.
00:31:05.500 They should not have given that land back.
00:31:08.220 I don't think Trump will actually do it, nor is there the political power to actually do it.
00:31:12.060 The end result will be those who are willing to steal power will, because there's one thing
00:31:16.520 that is always true.
00:31:17.740 Might makes.
00:31:19.740 Might doesn't make right.
00:31:21.380 It just makes.
00:31:23.540 If there are two people and one is deferential and one is aggressive, the aggressive guy wins.
00:31:28.220 That's it.
00:31:29.120 Those that are willing to use force, they tend to win.
00:31:34.260 Sorry, but that's the nature of reality.
00:31:36.180 You're not going to be the peaceful neighbor as the guy steals land all around you.
00:31:39.540 Peace in our time, right?
00:31:41.000 How did that work out?
00:31:42.500 I'm not advocating for the chaos.
00:31:44.300 The chaos is already here.
