00:00:29.020 airfrance.ca. February 2024. The FBI, the NSA, and the agency that runs America's cyber defenses
00:00:38.000 put out a joint warning. Chinese state hackers, a group they call Volt Typhoon, have gotten inside
00:00:45.920 American networks. Communications, energy, transportation, water. And the warning says
00:00:52.440 they may be positioning themselves to shut those systems down if a war were to break out.
00:00:59.020 most people never heard about it. August 2026, the U.S. Army announces up to $2.2 billion
00:01:07.420 to put nuclear micro-reactors on five military bases, their own power, no grid required.
00:01:15.940 September 30th, the Secretary of War stands up and tells the country that every major military
00:01:21.860 base in America needs to be able to run on its own. The civilian grid falls, the bases keep going,
00:01:29.020 He calls it a national insurance policy.
00:01:32.940 October 6th, the order goes out.
00:01:34.940 A new Pentagon office is created to make it happen.
00:01:38.640 Its name, Fortress America.
00:01:41.660 October 21st, Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
00:01:45.320 Army engineers fire up D6 bulldozers and start digging trenches in the dirt.
00:01:51.480 Chaplains bless the ground first.
00:01:53.720 Then, the mock bodies go in.
00:01:56.600 Skeletal models and water jugs.
00:01:59.020 20 bodies per trench, 1 hour, 15 minutes. October 22nd, the U.S. Army releases a statement.
00:02:07.580 This is something it has not executed at scale since the Korean War. The same day,
00:02:12.920 the British government launches a campaign telling families to keep water, food that doesn't need
00:02:18.120 cooking, a radio, and cash. In the case, the cards and ATMs stop working. October 25th,
00:02:26.020 Pentagon planning documents surface. Every major military base in the continental United States
00:02:32.340 must be able to survive on its own for at least 90 days. Power, water, fuel, communications,
00:02:39.780 plus stockpiles of munitions, fuel, critical minerals, and medical supplies.
00:02:46.500 October 26th. The Army's numbers come out. One engineer company working around the clock
00:02:52.420 could bury up to 2,400 bodies per day. October 27th. The Wall Street Journal reports the United
00:03:01.620 States has told its Gulf allies to get ready for a short, intense war with Iran right after the
00:03:08.580 midterms. A Patriot missile battery is reportedly heading to Israel. More warships next month.
00:03:14.600 And on the campaign trail, the president has been saying we may do another little epic fury.
00:03:22.420 And the soldier in charge of handling the army's dead says this.
00:03:27.020 If we went to war tomorrow, we would be making this up as we went along.
00:03:32.300 Hackers inside the grid. 0.81
00:03:34.560 Bases told to survive alone.
00:03:37.540 Graves dug with bulldozers.
00:03:40.200 Allies told to brace for war.
00:03:43.220 So what do they know?
00:03:45.000 And what are they preparing for?
00:03:46.960 Could this be the start of World War III?
00:03:50.720 or a conflict so large, it will affect all of the world. Let's put these pieces together.

00:04:22.880 at TimCast.com to make all of this possible. The story that sparked my attention, U.S. Army
00:04:30.060 practices digging temporary battlefield graves. And nobody wants to say it. This is not just a
00:04:37.180 temporary battlefield grave. In fact, the Army Times explicitly states mass temporary interment.
00:04:46.040 This is a mass grave.
00:04:47.760 Now, to be fair, the distinction here, which is actually difficult to break through,
00:04:52.440 is that when most people think mass graves, 0.58
00:04:55.440 they're presuming we will kill lots of people and dump their bodies in a hole.
00:05:01.100 Now, some have objected to the term of this as mass graves 0.99
00:05:04.120 because these are meant as temporary graves,
00:05:06.740 meaning the U.S. military is preparing to lay many U.S. soldier bodies in these graves
00:05:14.340 for later identification. They're not going to just dump the bodies and bury them.
00:05:19.460 They're going to lay them in these temporary mass graves after the war, or as soon as they
00:05:25.220 have the ability to do so, they will begin to identify who these people are and prepare
00:05:30.640 sending them home to their loved ones. But with the announcement of Fortress, with the UK and
00:05:37.040 many other governments warning their civilian populations, the only question I have is,
00:05:42.080 are they preparing for? It seems something big is about to happen.
00:05:51.280 Fortress America. September 30th, 2026, Pete Hegseth's State of the Force address. He
00:05:58.240 announces a program called FORTRESS. It stands for Federal Operations for Resilience,
00:06:04.040 Troop Resources, Energy Supply, and Survivability. The idea, America's major military bases should
00:06:11.060 generate their own power so they could keep running if the civilian grid goes down. Every
00:06:16.520 installation on U.S. soil gets hardened against cyber attacks, sabotage, and drones. He called it
00:06:23.300 a national insurance policy. On October 6th, the Pentagon Acquisition Chief Michael Duffy signed
00:06:28.820 the order to set up a Fortress America program office with five priorities. Space in the airwaves,
00:06:35.060 Hardening bases against attack and hacking
00:06:37.800 Energy independence
00:06:39.340 The supply chain and the companies that build weapons
00:06:42.500 And a strategic defence reserve
00:06:44.800 Then on October 25th, Fox News reported
00:06:47.640 Until November 17th, sky-high elegance at dream prices
00:06:51.700 During the Air France rendezvous
00:06:53.240 It's time to book your rendezvous with Paris
00:06:57.840 Starting at $769
00:06:59.740 Or Barcelona starting at $745 return
00:07:03.360 From Toronto taxes included
00:07:05.040 You can enjoy a glass of champagne however you fly, economy included.
00:07:09.180 Elegance is a journey. Air France.
00:07:11.560 Travel from November 1st to December 16th and from January 7th to March 31st, 2027.
00:07:16.480 See conditions at airfrance.ca.
00:07:18.320 What the internal planning documents actually say, every major base in the continental U.S.
00:07:23.600 has to be able to sustain essential operations on its own for at least 90 days.
00:07:27.960 Not just electricity, but water, fuel, and communications too.
00:07:32.560 Plus, strategic reserves of munitions, fuel, critical minerals, electronics, spare parts, and medical supplies.
00:07:40.100 The Pentagon spokesman associated with the program, Sean Parnell, put it in four words.
00:07:44.500 Power is combat now.
00:07:46.760 Why now?
00:07:47.920 The Pentagon hasn't named a country.
00:07:50.040 But back in February of 2024, the FBI, the NSA, and the agency in charge of America's cyber defenses warned that Chinese hackers,
00:07:57.860 A group called Volt Typhoon had gotten inside U.S. networks in communications, energy, transport, and water.
00:08:04.600 Their warning? They could be positioning to disrupt those systems in a future conflict.
00:08:10.120 The Army is already spending money on it.
00:08:12.920 In August, it announced up to $2.2 billion for micro-reactors at five bases.
00:08:17.320 Now the reality check.
00:08:19.220 A senior official said on October 20th that about 500 bases are still being assessed, and the whole thing could take decades.
00:08:27.020 Nobody's put a price on it.
00:08:28.660 Air and Space Forces magazine suggested tens to hundreds of billions of dollars.
00:08:34.080 So it's not happening tomorrow, but the order has been given.
00:08:37.680 The military's bases need to be able to survive on their own.
00:08:41.420 But what happens to the soldiers is a different question.
00:08:44.560 Three weeks later, at Fort Bragg, the army started answering it.
00:08:48.620 With the latest reporting that the U.S. has told its Gulf allies there will be a short, intense war.
00:08:55.580 with Iran following the midterm elections, the presumption from many people, the U.S.
00:09:00.720 is planning boots on the ground.
00:09:02.600 They would not need to be running drills for mass temporary interment unless they were
00:09:08.620 expecting U.S. soldiers to be in the line of fire.
00:09:12.360 Now, the fear is with these previous reports that cyber security issues have afflicted
00:09:18.420 this nation, it seems the U.S.
00:09:20.700 is concerned that whatever happens in Iran after the election could escalate into a much greater
00:09:26.040 conflict. Something I think everyone needs to understand. Ukraine has already launched strikes
00:09:31.880 against Iranian ships in the Caspian Sea as they were transporting weapons to Russia. So this
00:09:37.580 conflict has already expanded outside of Iran with conflict near Cuba and some intense exchanges of
00:09:45.720 words with Cubans at the UN, conflict with Venezuela, and a potential escalation in Ukraine,
00:09:51.960 is it possible we are looking at a World War III scenario? It's hard to know for sure because it's
00:09:58.340 all speculation based on surface-level news. We don't have access to classified information.
00:10:04.160 The information we get is just surface-level news reports. Sometimes there are leaks,
00:10:09.240 but we really don't know the long-term plan. Suffice to say, it seems very likely that once
00:10:14.900 the midterms wrap up, the war with Iran is going to get much worse. Politically, in the United
00:10:20.420 States, they are restrained because of the midterms. If Donald Trump were to order strikes
00:10:26.460 on Iran right now and escalate this war with U.S. troops on the ground, the problem is people will
00:10:32.580 revolt and the Republicans will get crushed in the upcoming election. However, if they wait until
00:10:39.140 the election is over, they can mitigate some of that damage and then carry out these strikes.
00:10:44.900 On October 20th and 21st at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, the exercise called Dragon Covenant
00:10:53.460 Phase 2 took place. Engineers, medicine teams, chaplains, and fatality management specialists
00:11:00.020 prepared. Their job was to answer one question. If a war were to break out with mass casualties,
00:11:07.600 can modern equipment bury the dead fast enough and do it in a way that lets families get them
00:11:13.400 back later. The Army's own release called it an operational reality. The U.S. Army has not
00:11:19.400 executed the scale since the Korean War. In earlier tests, a standard backhoe dug one trench
00:11:25.340 for 10 remains in about three hours. This time they brought D-6 bulldozers, one trench for 20
00:11:32.320 remains. In about an hour and 15 minutes, they were done. The bodies were mock remains, skeletal
00:11:39.160 models in water containers. The trenches were real. And they did find a problem. Army doctrine
00:11:44.600 called for seven feet between rows of graves. That's too narrow. A bulldozer would not fit
00:11:51.140 through without disturbing the trench next to it. So the doctrine is being rewritten.
00:11:56.860 Before any burial, chaplains consecrated the ground. After talking with leaders of smaller
00:12:01.920 faith groups, they decided a consecration tells families their loved ones were treated with
00:12:06.420 reverence, even if there is no funeral. Which brings us back to that quote. Sergeant First
00:12:11.900 Class Delbert Rood is a senior fatality management leader for the 3rd Corps Sustainment Command.
00:12:18.240 And he said if a war came tomorrow, they'd be making it up as they went along. So maybe this
00:12:23.960 is just routine. And I think that's a fair assessment. The military routinely has to go
00:12:29.040 over its policies and procedures to make sure it is up to date. However, the question remains why
00:12:34.620 something like this became prescient. Did something happen on the global stage that made
00:12:41.100 the U.S. military consider whether or not they can bury enough bodies fast enough? And I'm gonna go
00:12:47.380 ahead and say, I think that the news we've seen recently with fortress, with potential war in
00:12:53.520 Iran escalating. Yeah, these questions are pretty obvious. I mean, I think you'd be a fool to ignore
00:12:58.720 it. Internal meetings probably said, guys, if a war does escalate, as we can't get this under 0.97
00:13:04.280 control, do we have everything prepared? And someone probably pointed out the obvious.
00:13:10.680 Will we be able to bury as many bodies as we need to if U.S. soldiers are dying?
00:13:17.480 That's a scary thought. Are they really concerned that they will need to bury
00:13:21.660 thousands of American soldiers? What does that mean for the scale of this war?
00:13:26.840 It doesn't just mean a potential conflict with Iran in a short, intense matter.
00:13:31.440 it means something substantially worse.
00:13:36.880 In World War II, American dead were buried overseas in temporary cemeteries,
00:13:42.160 and families were later given the choice to bring them home. But then came Korea. When the war
00:13:47.080 started, the army had one graves registration platoon in the country. Each combat division
00:13:52.240 ran its own cemetery. The terrain was brutal, the supply lines were bad, and the front kept moving.
00:13:58.660 Some cemeteries had to be moved entirely.
00:14:01.720 And when Chinese forces pushed the U.S. out of North Korea,
00:14:05.660 some of those temporary cemeteries were simply abandoned.
00:14:08.820 So on Christmas Day in 1950, the policy changed.
00:14:11.660 From then on, soldiers killed in action would be sent home right away
00:14:15.520 instead of buried in the field.
00:14:17.520 It's called concurrent return, and it's still the policy today.
00:14:21.100 The dead left behind in the North didn't come home until after the armistice in 1954,
00:14:26.700 Operation Glory.
00:14:27.960 About 4,000 U.N. remains were handed back, including more than 1,800 Americans.
00:14:35.100 Hundreds of them were never identified and were buried as unknowns in Hawaii.
00:14:40.800 The decades after, the system got very good. 0.99
00:14:43.480 In Vietnam, 96% of those killed were recovered, compared with 78% in World War II and Korea.
00:14:50.040 In Iraq and Afghanistan, the dead were flown home through Dover Air Force Base, often within days. 0.87
00:14:55.500 That only worked because the U.S. owned the skies. 0.69
00:14:58.800 Army Times puts it simply.
00:15:00.720 For more than 20 years, air superiority, let the military evacuate, remains fast.
00:15:06.220 A large-scale war may not allow that.
00:15:09.320 This brings me back to my earlier point.
00:15:11.580 If the U.S. is preparing for mass graves so they can return bodies as quickly as possible,
00:15:17.380 it indicates something dark is on the horizon.
00:15:20.560 And I think, although we may only be looking at this from a surface level,
00:15:24.700 When you piece all of these things together, it indicates there is at least a fear a large-scale war may break out.
00:15:32.660 There have been conversations far and wide about the potentials of World War III.
00:15:36.940 In fact, many European leaders have repeatedly said World War III has already begun.
00:15:43.900 Could it be that the U.S. is now taking all of this seriously?
00:15:50.800 Here's the number that should stop you.
00:15:53.040 According to Army Times, an engineer company with this equipment, working nonstop, could
00:15:57.580 dig and cover trenches for up to 2,400 bodies every 24 hours.
00:16:03.920 One company, one day.
00:16:06.380 Army doctrine lays out how it's supposed to look.
00:16:09.000 A plot of five parallel trenches, 10 bodies on each side of each trench, 100 per plot,
00:16:15.060 every grave recorded.
00:16:16.320 So the remains can be identified and brought home later.
00:16:20.060 The rules go further.
00:16:20.900 Joint military guidance allows temporary graves in a mass casualty situation when remains can't
00:16:26.680 be moved safely, when there's no transport, or when the deaths come from chemical, biological,
00:16:32.980 radiological, or nuclear weapons. The Geneva Conventions require that enemy dead be recorded
00:16:38.100 too. With identifying information collected, cremation is rarely allowed except for hygiene
00:16:44.400 or religious reasons. None of this is new on paper. What's new is that the army is practicing
00:16:50.520 it again at scale with bulldozers. Phase three is planned for spring of 2027. It adds security,
00:16:59.480 medical facilities, and a collection point for remains. And this is where everything gets
00:17:04.480 really scary. The Iran war has not been going well for the U.S., again, at least from a surface
00:17:10.680 level view. The Trump administration and many of his supporters said this war would be over
00:17:15.620 very quickly, but it's not. It's extended now into the election with many of us warning if they did
00:17:22.420 not get a handle on the Iran conflict within months of the midterm elections, Republicans
00:17:28.340 would lose handily. It looks like now they've recognized this and we are going to get, I hate
00:17:35.780 to say it, it looks like boots on the ground in Iran somewhere, maybe Karg Island, maybe the actual
00:17:44.040 country, the actual cities in Iran. And this would mean devastation. Iran is not some backwards
00:17:53.160 desert country. It is a developed mountainous country with massive defenses and a 90 million
00:17:59.640 person population. This could mean something very serious for us and the economy.
00:18:07.800 This week, the Wall Street Journal reported that the U.S. had told several Gulf Arab states to
00:18:12.760 prepare for a short, intense military campaign against Iran. The timing. After the U.S. midterm
00:18:18.280 elections, Trump has said he won't strike before the vote. According to the report, he hasn't
00:18:22.720 decided, but he's leaning toward a large attack on Iranian infrastructure and nuclear sites.
00:18:28.500 At a rally, he said, we may do another little epic fury, and then. Or they'll agree. The White 0.98
00:18:35.200 House wouldn't discuss what it called sensitive military plans that may or may not exist. It said
00:18:40.100 Trump keeps all options on the table to ensure that Iran can never have a nuclear weapon.
00:18:45.260 And other moves are reportedly underway. A Patriot missile defense system headed to Israel.
00:18:50.600 Munitions being restocked. More warships expected next month. So on one side of the world,
00:18:56.400 the U.S. is quietly telling allies to brace for war. And at Fort Bragg, the army is practicing
00:19:01.880 for what to do when the dead can't come home. And it's not just America getting ready. On October
00:19:07.880 22nd, the British government launched a campaign called Be Ready. Its checklist tells families to
00:19:13.220 keep three liters of drinking water per person per day, food that doesn't need cooking or a fridge,
00:19:18.880 a battery or wind-up radio, a first aid kit, and cash in case cards and ATMs stop working.
00:19:26.820 And according to Fortune, Britain's defense secretary warned in a newspaper column
00:19:31.080 that adversaries could be ready to attack by 2030, about a thousand days from now. His words,
00:19:37.020 to prevent the worst, we have to prepare for it. I think it's fair to say all of these warning
00:19:44.360 signs are going off. There have been conversations about war. We know that war is getting bad.
00:19:51.940 Donald Trump lifting sanctions on Russia because he's desperate to get more diesel into the market.
00:19:56.660 Despite the fact that U.S. sanctioned them because of the war with Ukraine,
00:20:00.120 conflicts are all over the place in physical conflict, as well as conflicts of interest.
00:20:07.820 But I think the deal that Trump is cutting with Russia to get diesel on the market shows the
00:20:11.560 desperation the U.S. has as the Iran war is not going well. I think it's fair to say the
00:20:17.480 expectation all of us have. I think a reasonable person would conclude escalation is coming.
00:20:23.780 And after the elections makes the most sense. It's unfortunate. It's seriously unfortunate.
00:20:28.860 it. This war is only going to drive prices up further. It's only going to make gas cost more
00:20:34.920 money. But there are arguments people have as to why this is happening. The U.S. petrodollar deal
00:20:40.800 with Saudi Arabia ended. Right now, Saudi Arabia is still largely selling oil in U.S. dollars.
00:20:46.740 But if they decide they will take Chinese yuan or even rubles or any other currency,
00:20:52.200 the U.S. loses its position as the global hegemon. I don't believe that Donald Trump will allow that
00:20:57.640 to happen. I believe that Donald Trump is probably engaged in this war for the purpose
00:21:02.520 of maintaining the petrodollar. I think it's entirely likely that Saudi Arabia told the
00:21:09.080 United States, if you want this deal, prove it and bring regime change to Iran. And Trump said,
00:21:16.380 okay. The only problem, again, Iran is not a backwater desert country. No, this is a mountainous
00:21:24.780 developed nation with massive anti-air capabilities. And the mountains make it very difficult for the
00:21:30.740 U.S. ascendant ground incursions. And their population is massive. With 90 million plus
