It's week two of Canadian Tire's early Black Friday sale.
00:01:00.780
until Michelle arrived with a chocolate Basque cheesecake.
00:01:06.620
which Michelle claimed to have just whipped together.
00:01:14.820
All right, Susan, I bought the PC chocolate Basque cheesecake.
00:03:01.720
Maybe I'll try it on the other phone next time.
00:03:19.820
It was lined up with people all over the place.
00:03:26.200
But we're going to give you guys what really went down.
00:03:30.840
So, the first thing you guys need to know is that press is everywhere.
00:03:36.400
There was one going down to the end of the block.
00:03:40.100
The other thing is that, obviously, this is a very high-profile case, guys.
00:03:43.340
I would say this is probably going to be the most high-profile case in hip-hop history.
00:03:51.160
You got someone here who literally ran the industry in the early 2000s.
00:03:54.960
Anyone that's a little bit older is going to understand, like, how much power this guy had and how much influence.
00:04:00.080
The trial, obviously, is for very serious charges.
00:04:04.120
We're talking about sex trafficking, interstate trafficking.
00:04:09.480
The violence beating on the girl, arson, all this other stuff.
00:04:12.620
And they talked about this in opening statement.
00:04:14.600
So, as I was waiting there, the family showed up at around 930.
00:04:25.600
The white-skinned brother and then the dark-skinned brother.
00:04:27.740
They came and they were all coming and holding hands, you know, showing solidarity and stuff like that.
00:04:36.920
So, the judge finally showed up and addressed the court around 935 a.m.
00:04:49.540
I remember when I used to do my cases, big case, maybe two or three at the most.
00:04:53.260
Maybe some other guys that helped, but there were six at the table.
00:04:59.800
Diddy had about seven to eight of his own attorneys, though.
00:05:06.780
Brian Steele was there, too, which I'm going to talk about Brian Steele a little bit.
00:05:09.240
Brian Steele, for those that are unaware, is the prosecutor – excuse me, the prosecutor – the defense attorney that got Young Thug off on his big RICO case a couple years back.
00:05:18.260
So, the number one thing that they – so, right off the rip, the defense challenged the government because the government struck, like, seven witnesses.
00:05:27.980
And the reason why the government struck them, right, the defense alleged, oh, they got rid of seven black jurors.
00:05:34.160
This is messed up because jury selection was today, guys.
00:05:37.360
So, the way jury selection works, guys, is they have a bunch of jurors.
00:05:42.500
They need to whittle it down to about, I think, 12 to 18, right?
00:05:48.980
Now, the thing is, is that the government, right, when the defense was complaining, saying, oh, they got rid of these jurors because they're black, the government actually had good reasons for why.
00:05:59.940
Like, for example, one of them, son was, like, a gang member that did a significant amount of time.
00:06:06.120
Another one was married to a guy who did a significant amount of time in prison.
00:06:09.260
Another one got arrested for harassing a cop and lied.
00:06:12.160
So, a lot of people that were very questionable, okay, with these jurors, they lied during the void era.
00:06:18.540
They lied about certain things about themselves.
00:06:21.940
And then some of these jurors actually, like, one of them, for example, which really stood out, he claimed that he would lose 30% of his income but still wanted to be a juror.
00:06:31.160
So, the prosecution got rid of him because they were like, yeah, this dude has ulterior motives.
00:06:34.560
Keep in mind, guys, very common where jurors will want to be on there just so they can write a book, so they can sell it to the news, right, so they can go ahead and make a bunch of money.
00:06:42.100
Because doing this allows them to, you know, really exploit the system because this is obviously a huge case.
00:06:57.020
So, when the defense went ahead and said, hey, you know, they struck seven of our jurors because they're black.
00:07:04.160
When the defense said that, they came and systematically rattled up why each of the jurors were dismissed.
00:07:14.340
Like, this AUSA guy, the lead AUSA on this case, very fucking sharp.
00:07:18.860
Like, you know, and I can tell, you know, because I've worked with literally hundreds of prosecutors when I was on the job myself.
00:07:24.460
This prosecutor here, the one that's running this thing, she's very good.
00:07:29.080
You know, which makes sense because obviously, you know, if you're an AUSA in the Southern District of New York, you're going to be one of the best, right?
00:07:38.020
Keep in mind, guys, it's not easy to become a federal prosecutor, right?
00:07:43.400
They become a defense attorney for a little bit, like a public defender, then maybe an ADA for the state.
00:07:53.860
But the experience that you get from being in AUSA is unparalleled.
00:08:00.160
And then this is one of the most prestigious United States Attorney's offices in the country.
00:08:08.160
Because obviously that's a very serious accusation to make because they obviously made sure to say, yeah, racism, seven jurors that are black.
00:08:14.020
And she went through each one, why they disqualified them.
00:08:17.020
One, criminal records, the guy that had the, you know, is going to lose 30% of his revenue.
00:08:26.640
Some of them had some issues with not being honest.
00:08:31.620
So once they got this done, pretty much they seated the jury, guys.
00:08:35.320
After they got that done, at 1015 a.m., they had the jury seated.
00:08:41.000
He estimated this trial is going to take about eight weeks.
00:08:47.320
And they think that they're going to try to finish before July 4th is the goal.
00:08:58.260
You know, statements, arguments, objections are not necessarily evidence.
00:09:02.540
It's their job to listen to the arguments and stuff and see who's more compelling.
00:09:07.080
But also, you spend a significant amount of time telling them to look at the way the witnesses tell the stories.
00:09:16.320
If you guys watch Fed Reacts, you guys already know.
00:09:18.040
I tell you guys all the time about witness credibility.
00:09:21.660
If they get caught lying on the stand, they lose credibility.
00:09:26.200
He talked about the witnesses that were going to come in.
00:09:28.520
At this point, they kind of revealed who some of the key witnesses are going to be.
00:09:32.660
Which is going to be Cassie and a girl named Jane.
00:09:47.920
So, they went over the witness, the juror instruction.
00:09:52.220
After the juror instruction, now we're going to get into opening statements.
00:10:19.840
And I'm also going to be monitoring the super chats as well.
00:10:34.840
I'm going to move the audio closer to me and I'm going to speak louder, chat.
00:10:45.620
So, let's get into the opening statements, guys.
00:10:52.200
The prosecution overcame the defense trying to say that they're racist.
00:10:57.280
So, with opening statements, guys, the prosecution goes first.
00:11:01.320
And in the opening statements, their job is to outline the investigation, outline everything.
00:11:05.220
So, basically, you know, she goes right after it.
00:11:10.880
The Blondie is the one that went ahead and gave these opening statements.
00:11:21.400
So, basically, in it, she goes and talks about how 20 years of crimes, he didn't do it alone.
00:11:26.640
He had a bodyguard who committed arson, kidnapping, bribery, obstruction, and sex crimes.
00:11:32.480
And then she goes into one night where he was hunting for Cassie because he found out that she was with another man.
00:11:42.340
And they talked about how he would basically, you know, have her have sex with other individuals and videotape with escorts.
00:11:51.880
So, allegedly, on one night, and they made sure to talk about this one night in the opening statements, Diddy, after seeing another man with Cassie, got his bodyguard, grabbed the gun, and went looking for her.
00:12:10.620
And what ended up happening is they had one of the employees that worked for him, and they broke into her house and told her, hey, I need you to do X, Y, Z.
00:12:19.220
Eventually, she cooperates and they're able to track Cassie down.
00:12:21.320
And what they basically said was, this happens all the time.
00:12:24.920
They tried to illustrate him as a power-hungry, anger-driven, alcohol-fueled, drug-fueled boss that can't control his temper, working his employees to the bones, abusing them, utilizing his directors of staff, his bodyguard, et cetera, to conduct crimes.
00:12:49.340
Obviously, many businesses, as you guys know, for those that don't know, you know, obviously, successful record label or Bad Boy, you couldn't avoid, you literally couldn't, you couldn't turn on MTV without seeing this guy in the early 2000s chat.
00:13:04.400
You know, in 2006, I think he ran the marathon.
00:13:09.860
Obviously, as you get later on into the 2010s, 2020s, he stepped back a little bit, but he was still behind the scenes, making quite a bit of money.
00:13:18.160
He was killing it with reducing, you know, being involved in many different projects, music videos, et cetera.
00:13:26.860
For those that don't know, guys, Diddy's a billionaire, okay?
00:13:31.160
So, what they said was he basically relied on inner circle bodyguards, chiefs of staffs, guarded his reputation, got him everything that he wanted to include drugs, sex parties with girls, escorts.
00:13:45.100
He had a whole network of male escorts, bodyguards, let's see here, he was in place to deliver the drugs, he transported women interstate and international for sex trafficking, and he would coerce them to do so.
00:14:02.660
And then, here is the star, then the prosecution went into talking about who the two main witnesses are going to be, Cassie and a woman named Jane, who we met later on in 2020, okay?
00:14:12.700
And this, honestly, we saw this coming, we knew Cassie was going to be the main witness, chat.
00:14:18.040
I'm surprised she didn't hit the stand today, but I think she probably will tomorrow.
00:14:25.840
And with Cassie, they say, freak-offs, where he would demand her to go to these, you know, hotels with him and have sex with random escorts, right?
00:14:37.640
And if she didn't, he would threaten to embarrass her, release the videos, destroy her career.
00:14:45.880
Mind you guys, he met her when she was 19, he was her executive producer.
00:14:50.440
Yeah, you're getting closer, so I'm trying to keep you, like...
00:14:54.980
Shout out to you guys, say W. Angie for filming this film.
00:14:58.260
Yeah, they're saying that I'm put in the airquake mode, because I'm moving around.
00:15:07.900
So, and then they were dating for years, right?
00:15:12.600
So, they also talked about how Didi made her turn down deals.
00:15:16.820
She would make music every day, but he would basically not put it out, right?
00:15:20.040
And he told her, I don't want you to make music.
00:15:23.940
We'd give her money, lavish cars, lavish life, et cetera, but he used it as a means of control.
00:15:30.660
Remember, I'm giving you guys the opening statements of what the prosecution is saying,
00:15:33.760
and the prosecution is going to obviously, you know, paint him in a certain light.
00:15:36.920
I'm going to give you what the defense says here in a second, right?
00:15:45.180
In 2009, he stomped her face in an SUV, and she had to sit in a hotel.
00:15:51.540
She had to stay in a hotel for, like, a week or two, because he beat her so bad.
00:15:57.960
He threw her to the bottom of an SUV, like, on the floorboard, and fucking stomped her face.
00:16:03.440
Also, she said, the prosecutor at the USA was saying how Cassie was booking escorts for freak-offs, okay?
00:16:13.340
Once a week, they were doing this, and these freak-offs would last days, sometimes three to four days, so half a week.
00:16:19.220
So, once a week, three to four days of the week, she's on drugs, doing these freak-offs that would last somewhere between one hour to multiple days.
00:16:27.400
And a freak-off, oh, Angie's like, what the hell's a freak-off?
00:16:29.780
A freak-off chat is basically where it's like a sex campaign.
00:16:36.120
Where he would bring, I wish you guys could see her face.
00:16:39.460
And she's basically like, so basically what these freak-offs were, guys, were he'd get a hotel.
00:16:44.620
So, she would be there with him, as we're going to see later with one of the witnesses I'm going to explain to you.
00:16:52.600
They'd have it set up in certain ways, with certain lights, with themes, all this other stuff.
00:17:00.780
And he would hire escorts, and he would be sitting there watching as she was having sex with these male escorts.
00:17:07.560
And he'd be in the corner, you know, kind of gooning, you know, goondiddy in the house, right?
00:17:13.040
So, this is what, of course, again, this is what the prosecutor, I want to stress here, this is what the prosecution is alleging to him, okay?
00:17:25.560
Now, they're also claiming he would beat her if she didn't, he'd beat her over and over.
00:17:30.920
If she didn't answer phone calls, if she wasn't obedient to him, if she doesn't listen to him, he would beat her.
00:17:36.780
If she took too long in the bathroom, he would beat her.
00:17:41.160
And he would also beat her if she left the freak-off parties without telling you.
00:17:49.200
Oh, they also alleged that if she didn't listen to what he said, he threatened to destroy her career and release the videos.
00:17:57.260
Which is interesting, because we're going to get into what the defense says here in a second, okay?
00:18:08.000
They both had a bad relationship, but only did he have the power.
00:18:11.300
Basically, there was jealousy and vitriol in this relationship for a very long time.
00:18:14.380
You know, it was a very strong love-hate relationship.
00:18:27.080
Basically, she wanted a real relationship, but it never ended up getting there, okay?
00:18:35.000
On the day that he introduced her to freak-offs, basically said, hey, they had done some drugs and they had, you know, had sex all night and everything.
00:18:46.720
He got like a, he got an escort and they did a freak-off that day.
00:18:51.320
And he has like this whole thing of male escorts, by the way.
00:18:53.960
He has like three or five of them that he deals with.
00:18:56.680
So, basically, and then from that point forward, they just kept doing these freak-offs.
00:19:05.020
And for her, now what the prosecution is saying is they're saying that she wanted something more and she did it to make it happen.
00:19:20.560
And he told her to hurry up and smash another escort.
00:19:23.560
So, she was hooking up with one guy, right, on drugs, MDMA, because he would often give them an MDMA stick, stay up all night.
00:19:30.620
Goes to the bathroom in between the session and vomits.
00:19:50.980
This is just opening statements for the prosecution.
00:20:04.400
So, Gus69 said, is there any chance Diddy can be free?
00:20:24.320
And I'm going to talk to you guys about that as well.
00:21:16.840
The relationship with Jane, though, was never public chat.
00:21:25.400
But, again, the prosecution alleged that, you know, he was giving her, he was, you know, financially
00:21:34.520
And less than a year ago, and then they go into this big fight that they had, right?
00:21:39.660
So, less than a year ago, Didi shows up to the house, and they get in a fight.
00:21:45.540
Prosecutors don't say how she hit him, which I'm going to talk about when the defense comes
00:21:58.200
And then he basically told her, you're not going to fuck up my night.
00:22:02.220
Called an escort and made her go freak off on drugs again that night that they got into
00:22:07.380
Now, the defense is going to paint this in a different light, which I will tell you guys
00:22:10.620
But I'm just telling you what the prosecution is saying, right?
00:22:14.560
And then, also, they mentioned a girl named Mia.
00:22:24.100
They alleged that he would reach out for a skirt.
00:22:37.800
Okay, and then, also, the prosecution talked about, you guys remember the famous video that
00:22:41.920
CNN showed where he was in a hotel chasing her down with a white towel?
00:22:45.960
The prosecution said that they were going to bring the security guard where Didi tried
00:22:50.560
to pay the security guard off $100,000 to get rid of the video.
00:22:54.820
Which, he actually testified first, and we're going to talk about that.
00:23:00.320
He would keep Cassidy away in multiple houses whenever she got beaten for multiple days.
00:23:08.040
The charges are going to be, obviously, racketeering, kidnapping, arson, drug trafficking, sex trafficking,
00:23:13.200
It encompasses a multitude of different crimes.
00:23:14.840
Next, with the coercion of the force for both Jane and for Cassidy, those are going to
00:23:19.900
be the two-star witnesses chat that they're going to allege this with.
00:23:24.360
Three, transporting Cassidy, Jane, and the male escorts, because the third charge is interstate
00:23:32.420
And I've explained to you guys before, interstate nexus, right?
00:23:36.100
Once you travel interstate or you affect interstate nexus, that's how the case becomes federal.
00:23:40.220
That's how they were able to take it over the state, right?
00:23:43.220
And then, the witnesses are going to be Jane, Cassidy, Jane, Mia, this woman that worked
00:23:55.000
Other employees that bought drugs for him, male escorts.
00:23:59.820
And then, also, the government talked about the evidence that they have, which is going
00:24:03.440
to be hotel flights, records, hotel damages, text messages, instructions, witnesses denying,
00:24:10.680
sending a message saying, hey, I don't want to do these freak-offs, but I'm insisting that
00:24:15.040
they do the freak-offs, videos of Diddy's freak-offs, and then Diddy giving instructions
00:24:20.860
That's going to be very graphic when that comes out, when they start showing the freak-off
00:24:27.520
And the other thing, too, I will say, just the testimony today was very graphic.
00:24:31.460
One of the witnesses that came was, so two witnesses testified today, Chad.
00:24:36.160
You had opening statements, and then the security guard at the interstate.
00:24:40.520
It's in Los Angeles, for the incident that happened on March 5th, 2016, and then one
00:24:45.660
of the male prostitutes, they used to have sex with cash, and testified to them.
00:24:57.740
And then they said, also, they're going to talk about the evidence that they found when
00:25:03.020
Hotel security, drugs, guns, high heels and costumes that he would make the women wear
00:25:09.360
when they, because he would make Cassie and Jane wear certain costumes, lingerie, heels,
00:25:15.000
They would have to perform, like, acts, sexual acts.
00:25:18.080
And it was all, like, you would, and Diddy would be there directing it, right?
00:25:50.020
He was wearing a, as far as, to give you guys a demeanor of Diddy, Diddy was there.
00:25:55.520
I think he had seven or eight of them there with him.
00:25:57.780
He, he had, his hair's white, straight white now.
00:26:03.540
He was wearing a oatmeal covered sweater with some beige slacks.
00:26:18.140
Let's get into, now let's get into the defense, okay?
00:26:24.880
But then she started getting, she started cooking a little bit, right?
00:26:27.620
Now, the defense, right, talked more about Diddy, you know, being a successful musician.
00:26:34.160
You know, how he worked really hard to get to where he was at.
00:26:36.580
Started talking a bit more about his, a lot about his character, right?
00:26:41.140
So, one thing that's interesting is that the lawyer did have him stand, you know,
00:26:50.540
Which I thought was, you know, the goal with this guy was to humanize Diddy.
00:26:55.940
Because obviously, the prosecution made him look like an animal.
00:26:59.740
So, the goal was to talk about how he was a family man.
00:27:06.780
Also, the other thing they wanted to do was to show, which is very important, what the defense
00:27:11.460
was doing with the opening statement was, their stance was, this isn't sex trafficking.
00:27:16.280
This is a bad relationship, domestic violence, that the government is trying to spin as a
00:27:26.840
So, so, and the other thing, too, that was very interesting that the defense did here.
00:27:32.460
So, they said the prosecution will claim Diddy has a temper, drinks, and uses drugs.
00:27:39.760
Which I thought was very interesting that they actually own his bad temper, his drug use,
00:27:46.960
The defense said, yes, he did participate in this stuff, right?
00:27:49.740
Granted, they had to do this because the video came in of him chasing her down with a
00:27:54.240
But I did think it was interesting that they basically owned it.
00:27:56.980
Now, what they did, though, which was interesting, they juxtaposed that with, so Diddy is owning
00:28:02.960
the fact that he needs to take accountability for his actions.
00:28:07.660
You know, he was hitting his girlfriends, using drugs, alcohol, et cetera.
00:28:12.340
But Cassie, Jane, and these other individuals were all consenting adults.
00:28:19.820
They wildly wanted, they madly wanted to be with him.
00:28:25.760
They talked about how after he broke up with Cassie in 2018, she came to the funeral of
00:28:32.000
his former, his ex-wife, Kim Porter, when she passed away from pneumonia.
00:28:38.460
They talked about how Cassie was wildly jealous of Diddy, how she was living with her parents
00:28:46.360
They talked about how Jane was wildly jealous of Diddy as well, as he would have other women,
00:28:55.760
It's not New York City if the cops don't pass by, right?
00:29:22.720
I don't got to worry about nothing to be in the Chinatown.
00:29:24.320
So anyway, so with Cassie, they painted her as a woman that was jealous, vitriol, you
00:29:35.720
know, needed money because her career was starting to stall.
00:29:40.560
Then with Jane, they painted her as also jealous, angry.
00:29:42.840
And the big thing with Jane was, Jane, Diddy didn't contact her unless it was for a sex
00:29:53.440
Cornell says, if she's on YouTube and it's not FNF meeting, okay?
00:30:09.340
W Carpenter, did anybody recognize you to get you in there at like a press pass or something?
00:30:14.000
Or do you know anybody that can hook you up with a press pass so that you can constantly
00:30:19.960
I got recognized at one, which is, you know, a blessing for TPC.
00:30:23.480
Hopefully, she says, Debbie Energy doesn't know what three-offs are.
00:30:26.100
Seems like Cassie couldn't even breathe without getting a beating.
00:30:29.200
Myron, from what you saw today, do you think Diddy has a good defense?
00:30:41.520
So the big thing, the defense was like, Diddy's taking accountability, but his victims don't.
00:30:51.200
They didn't like that he was a polygamous chat.
00:30:54.800
The defense attorney was talking about how he had multiple women.
00:31:00.300
And with Cassie, allegedly, she saw him leaving a hotel with a girl that she didn't like.
00:31:06.560
And that's why she broke the relationship off in 2018 and how they had been together for 11 years.
00:31:21.820
You know, Diddy has, yes, he has a strange sexual fetish, but that doesn't necessarily mean that he's a criminal.
00:31:26.500
They talked about how Diddy paid for their houses, their vacations, their lifestyle.
00:31:36.400
They talked about how Cassie was with Diddy for 11 years.
00:31:39.080
She broke up with her boyfriend at the time to be with Diddy while Diddy was married to Kim Porter.
00:31:43.400
And then she also went on to say how Diddy was, both Diddy and Cassie were very jealous, right?
00:31:57.080
So they talked about how they had a very toxic and jealous relationship and how both of them were very toxic and jealous of each other.
00:32:06.580
The violence was bilateral is what they were saying.
00:32:16.100
And they said domestic violence is indefensible.
00:32:18.520
But they wanted to make sure that when that video happened, guys, the defense claims that it was because Diddy saw something in her phone that he didn't like.
00:32:27.080
And that's why, if you guys noticed, when he knocked her over, he took her phone.
00:32:31.100
So they're claiming that this dispute between Diddy and Cassie was over something in her phone.
00:32:44.140
So they're saying, look, it's domestic violence.
00:32:47.360
Well, however, it needs to be a proper context.
00:32:51.900
That was something that they really wanted to hear from.
00:32:58.740
The defense said the free call videos came from Cassie.
00:33:05.460
The defense, and I'll put a story here for this because this was actually huge.
00:33:11.180
They said that the free call videos came from Cassie chapter, which is crazy because you would think Diddy would have to have the free call videos.
00:33:19.480
And you would think that the government got it from searching his homes.
00:33:23.900
But the reality is, is that the free call videos came from her, which is wild.
00:33:42.160
Um, they talked about Cassie, the funeral services after the breakup.
00:33:47.620
And, um, uh, they also said here, Diddy had not seen her since 2018, since the funeral service of 2018.
00:34:05.980
They said with Jane, Diddy was up front about seeing multiple women.
00:34:13.560
Uh, Jane was older, different, uh, and she lived in a different state.
00:34:23.700
Uh, and also the defense said that she enjoyed the night that they had this first.
00:34:30.320
Um, she wanted something deeper, but didn't get it.
00:34:34.660
Um, she did it for three years where she was with him doing these sex parties.
00:34:40.220
And basically they said that the defense was saying if she didn't do the freak offs,
00:34:44.580
So she was so desperate to see him that she made the choice of fly out to go see him.
00:34:51.240
Again, showing that she's an adult and she's doing, doing these things on her own.
00:34:54.480
Um, they said after they had the fight, the fight, remember I told you about, uh, that
00:35:00.540
they got into the thing where he chased her on the house.
00:35:03.340
Oh, the prosecution didn't say this, but she slammed his head on a sink first.
00:35:10.120
They get in an argument over him seeing other women.
00:35:15.900
And he, and he, uh, and he slammed her, um, after that.
00:35:18.720
And then this happened in like November of 2023 or so, she still went out to go see him
00:35:25.200
So they continued to have a relationship even after this fight.
00:35:28.240
Um, it was a toxic relationship, but she willingly stayed.
00:35:33.320
Um, next, the defense alleged that Jane was not a sex trafficking victim.
00:35:42.460
They said that the videos that this freak on videos are going to show that it was consensual
00:35:47.800
And then Maya, remember how I told you guys that girl, Maya, that allegedly did he great.
00:35:51.940
Um, what they attacked her next and the defense went through the systematically.
00:36:01.020
And they basically said, well, Maya, um, why is she making these allegations now?
00:36:08.560
Basically they have text messages showing how much she loved it.
00:36:10.780
She, even though she made these allegations that he was graphing her also, um, she, after
00:36:18.720
this incident happened against her, she came back to Diddy wanting to work for him 12 years
00:36:25.480
So they're attacking Maya saying that this is a money grab cloud grab, uh, that, that it
00:36:32.960
Um, and then also they said that the motive here was money.
00:36:40.020
They talked about how Cassie Jane and a lot of these other people didn't go to the cops.
00:36:44.660
They went to civil lawyers to get big lawsuits.
00:36:50.300
And they said, oh, if this stuff was so sensitive, you know, so destructive to you, um, to go to
00:36:55.520
the police, why'd you go to a civil lawyer instead?
00:37:17.900
Um, also they said that they're going to get the civil lawyers involved.
00:37:21.820
Uh, I think the civil lawyers might even, they said that they got the civil lawyers, um, that
00:37:31.320
One of the witnesses that was kidnapped, uh, said that she wanted to work with Diddy after
00:37:37.780
They attacked a lot of the points that the prosecution had.
00:37:43.720
Oh, they said the drug use, the drug trafficking.
00:37:46.400
They said the drug trafficking was personal use.
00:37:52.760
It wasn't like he was, you know, out here distributing it to everybody.
00:37:57.680
Um, and they're saying that this isn't a recode.
00:38:00.520
This is simply a guy that had, you know, a certain type of sex life.
00:38:15.220
So, the first offense, uh, the first, um, the first witness that came out was a guy named,
00:38:22.120
Okay, and Officer Flores, guys, before I do this.
00:38:55.100
We'll get, like, a tripod or some shit for the next one.
00:39:00.940
People tipped it when they knew you were there.
00:39:07.120
Do you think it'll be hard for me to get in tomorrow?
00:39:11.080
You'll be able to get in, but what's going to happen is you're not going to be able to get into the main courtroom.
00:39:13.860
What they do is they have adjunct courtrooms where you're able to squash everything out.
00:39:18.660
So you might not get into the actual courtroom.
00:39:24.060
We are in the nice neighborhood, even though they're Chinese.
00:39:33.580
Do you think this is the over-magnified version of Me Too movement?
00:39:38.180
I'm going to keep looking at the evidence, but I will say the defense is absolutely competent.
00:39:45.680
The lead at USA is very sharp, and the woman that gave the opening statements was very good, too.
00:39:51.180
I'm scared to ask how old these girls were to freak off.
00:39:54.180
The two main ones were Cassie and Jane when they were adults.
00:40:05.660
And obviously, guys, Freshly Fit, I think, is live right now, too.
00:40:08.120
So we're going to be – I'm going to wrap this thing up here soon.
00:40:13.660
We're going to probably go around 530 tomorrow.
00:40:15.700
Today, we just didn't know how to work and stuff, but it's going to be better.
00:40:18.720
As you guys see us do this, it's going to get better and better and better, okay?
00:40:23.020
Let's get into the first witness, Officer Flores.
00:40:28.140
So Officer Flores, guys, was a security guard over at the International.
00:40:31.280
For those that don't know, the – excuse me, the Intercontinental.
00:40:33.520
The Intercontinental Hotel, guys, out in L.A., was the hotel where this violent incident happened with the video.
00:40:44.340
The guy that worked there, he worked from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. that day.
00:40:47.500
He got a call that a woman was in distress on the sixth floor.
00:40:50.660
He got contacted by what's called instant services.
00:40:52.820
And instant services, guys, it's a service where if you open up, pick up the phone at the Intercontinental Hotel,
00:40:58.440
they hook you up to somebody, and he got a call of a woman that was in distress.
00:41:05.320
He sees Diddy in a towel and colorful socks, right?
00:41:21.920
And when he showed up, he said Diddy was sitting slouched down with a towel with a devilish stare, okay?
00:41:38.360
Cassie wanted her phone and her bag to leave, okay?
00:41:42.200
So when he showed up, that's what the dispute was about, because she wanted her phone and she wanted to leave.
00:41:48.000
And the security guard alleges that Diddy told her she can't leave.
00:41:52.960
And that's when he interjected himself to say, well, no, that's, you know, that's what we're going to do.
00:42:08.420
So after, right, what ended up happening was, so when he saw that the dispute happened or whatever,
00:42:15.660
and she, you know, had this thing in her eye and everything else like that,
00:42:22.700
When he went in there with Cassie and Diddy, he didn't want the door to close.
00:42:26.360
So he basically kind of put himself in between the door and Diddy and Cassie.
00:42:29.980
Cassie went in there, got her phone, and she left, okay?
00:42:32.720
And when he was in there, he said he saw another individual at the corner of a bed.
00:42:38.440
So purple eye, purple eye, it's a black eye, basically, and another individual on the corner of a bed.
00:42:45.400
So he goes down with Cassie to the valet area, and someone comes, some seven-foot dude, comes to pick her up.
00:43:02.460
Now, the thing that the prosecution used was what's called an incident report.
00:43:19.140
But we're going to see how this is going to come back to bite him later.
00:43:26.320
When he went into the room, did he try to hand them a lot of cash?
00:43:35.300
He says, did he try to give him the cash, and he declined it.
00:43:38.960
And he couldn't say exactly how much money it was, but he said it was, like, a lot.
00:43:42.720
It was, like, a big, big lot of cash, like this big.
00:43:45.060
He said, in his own words, he said it was, like, the distance from his thumb to, like, his pinky.
00:44:02.740
And he told Diddy also, he told Diddy and Cassie, hey, you guys broke the vase.
00:44:09.080
He kept telling them that, that it's going to be, you know, we're going to have to do that.
00:44:11.540
And then he called the, he ended up calling, what's it called?
00:44:16.940
He ended up calling, like, the service, so they can come and clean it and everything else like that.
00:44:25.240
Now, so that's the prosecution on direct, right?
00:44:28.380
So the prosecution, guys, this is the prosecution's witness, which means they're going to put him on direct examination, which means, like, they're asking him questions and he's their witness.
00:44:37.500
Now, on cross-examination, I ain't going to lie to you, guys, I saw one of the greatest ass-whoopings I've seen in a very long time on cross-examination, okay?
00:44:45.840
So Brian Steele, okay, for those of you that are unaware, Brian Steele is the white guy that defended Young Thug.
00:44:50.960
He famously went to jail with Young Thug for a day, for contempt.
00:44:58.380
Yeah, he literally took his jacket off and went to jail for a day with Young Thug.
00:45:03.180
So he's a chief, wildly respected, and he brought him on the team, like, last month, right?
00:45:08.840
So he gets up and he starts cross-examining this guy.
00:45:22.060
Yeah, I know they're complaining about the camera and stuff, but the thing is that you guys have to remember,
00:45:43.320
Yeah, so Myron is really tall, and I'm really short.
00:45:46.380
So I have to pull off my arms, and when they get tired, of course, they're going to come down.
00:46:45.040
It's going to be a little bit hard for me to check the Myron Gaines X chats, guys.
00:46:50.560
But I will check them at the end of the show, then.
00:47:17.240
Let's get into the cross-examination, all right?
00:47:24.100
Oh, it's a whole other website you're going to have to do.
00:47:34.300
Like, Myron Gaines X is like my donation thingy.
00:47:42.640
Or if not, guys, what I'll do is I'll have it ready for tomorrow and I'll read them tomorrow.
00:47:55.840
And he cross-examines this security guard, right?
00:48:01.100
And cross-examined, guys, is where the defense basically is able to go ahead and ask questions of the government's witness.
00:48:07.060
And what I witnessed here was probably one of the biggest asshole things I've ever seen, right?
00:48:11.940
So, first thing he attacks on the security guard is he says, the devilish look, right?
00:48:18.160
He says, explain this devilish look that you saw for Diddy.
00:48:21.220
Because, obviously, that's very, you know, that looks bad, right?
00:48:24.960
So, Brian Steele immediately says, explain to me this.
00:48:31.300
There is always something happening in this city.
00:48:46.620
I hate these ambulance motherfuckers in New York City.
00:48:48.760
It's always some Puerto Rican with a fucking shitty chinstrap, right?
00:48:53.600
You do really need to put this shit so fucking loud?
00:48:58.020
That's why I call New York City Scum City, bro.
00:49:07.900
He says that he's been employed for eight to nine years as a security guard.
00:49:10.780
And he says, hey, tell me about this devilish look.
00:49:13.160
So, the guy, he says, why didn't you put this in your report if you had such a devilish look?
00:49:19.780
The incident happened on March 5th, 2016, at 11 a.m.
00:49:25.000
And Brian Steele made a point to make sure of that, that, hey, you wrote this report when it was still fresh in your mind, right?
00:49:32.020
So, he says, okay, why didn't you mention devilish look in your report?
00:49:37.700
Don't you think that would be important to put that in the report?
00:49:42.180
Then, in the report, the guy never wrote that Cassie had a purple eye or a black eye.
00:49:49.900
This purple eye thing that he mentioned in testimony, he never wrote in the report.
00:49:54.440
And when Brian Steele grilled him on that, he said, why didn't you write that in the report?
00:50:00.380
He was like, well, you know, I didn't think it was relevant.
00:50:06.680
Because this guy was like the associate director of security.
00:50:09.500
You know, you're the associate director of Intercontinental.
00:50:11.680
You have a duty to protect the brand and the hotel from being sued.
00:50:20.460
If she really had a black eye, why didn't you document that?
00:50:23.860
Then, he said, then he attacked him and he said, you took the time, right?
00:50:29.700
You took the time to go ahead and show the video to your wife and to your colleagues.
00:50:33.340
But you didn't take the time to, you know, to document that she had a black eye.
00:50:38.840
So, because this guy showed the video to his friends and shit.
00:50:44.340
And then, he didn't report, he didn't report him, though it was significant.
00:50:58.480
So, in the testimony, he says, Diddy told Cassie she couldn't leave.
00:51:02.380
But in the report, it says, Diddy told Cassie to leave.
00:51:09.320
So, in his testimony, under direct examination by the prosecution, he says, Diddy told her that she couldn't leave.
00:51:18.620
When his report, his incident report, which was written on that day, it says, Diddy told her to leave.
00:51:29.420
And he said, Well, you know, they were going back and forth.
00:51:32.060
I didn't think it was, you know, relevant to talk about that.
00:51:36.480
Because his thing was like, they were going back and forth whether she could leave, not leave, whatever.
00:51:40.100
So, what ended up happening was, diddy told her to leave at the end?
00:51:42.880
So, he didn't mention in there how he told her in the beginning not to leave.
00:51:46.280
But obviously, this looks bad because he's explaining himself like this, right, in court.
00:51:52.540
So, and then when the security guy said, Oh, it's not important to say you can't leave in the report.
00:52:02.780
He says, Oh, it wasn't important for you to write you can't leave in the report.
00:52:09.240
It wasn't important for you, but it's important for you to recall it nine years later in this courtroom.
00:52:14.360
When he said that shit, I was like, this nigger's cooking him.
00:52:21.660
So, he tells, again, the security guard tells the prosecution, because he's a prosecution witness, Diddy said she can't leave.
00:52:31.060
Then Brian pulls out the report, the incident report, and says, Well, why did you say in the report that she could leave?
00:52:45.860
And he says in the report, Why did you say that she could leave?
00:52:52.140
Well, it was important for you to remember it nine years later in your testimony, but it wasn't important enough for you to talk about it in the incident report.
00:53:16.300
And people, I was like, Yep, that's how we got, that's Young Thugs Lawyer.
00:53:32.420
Um, and then they mentioned how there was an altercation because the security, when the
00:53:39.100
guy was talking with Diddy, he put his forearm on, on Diddy like this, because, uh, Diddy
00:53:47.240
Um, and there was a discrepancy in what he, what he put in the report versus what actually
00:53:53.760
So basically, Brian Steele, um, really destroyed this guy with his report.
00:53:59.920
So he doesn't understand the importance of documenting things properly.
00:54:14.020
Since he didn't document things properly, um, Brian Steele just beat him up for that.
00:54:20.180
If he was a police officer, he would have known better, but he's a security guard.
00:54:23.100
So he admitted a lot of things from the report that he later mentioned in the testimony.
00:54:27.680
Now, mind you, to the guy's defense, does he think he's going to be in a fucking big ass,
00:54:30.820
um, case like this, where he's going to be in this trial of a century, where he's going
00:54:34.400
to be, you know, this report would be screw nice to this level?
00:54:38.400
But they really made him look bad on the stand, beating him up on this.
00:54:42.020
Um, so yeah, they, they just destroyed his credibility on the stand with that.
00:54:47.220
Um, next, next person that testified, now this shit's where it shit's where it gets
00:54:52.780
Is a guy named Daniel Phillips, 41 years old, male stripper.
00:54:57.980
Now this guy, I know, I know, I know what the fuck is going on here.
00:55:06.880
But granted, this was happening like 10 years ago.
00:55:10.140
So, um, and you have to see, this is where Epstein died right here, actually.
00:55:18.360
This is where Epstein was, uh, Epstein right here.
00:55:23.600
This is where he died when he was, uh, when he was, um, when he allegedly killed himself.
00:55:39.300
The building in the back is the actual courtroom.
00:55:43.400
And then that's the main courtroom, courtroom building up there.
00:55:49.320
This is actually right behind me is where I've seen, you know, allegedly hung himself.
00:55:56.960
I think he's freezing, you know, I think, I think that's why he's so uneasy.
00:56:14.580
So male escort met her in 2012, uh, around 2012 to 2013.
00:56:23.460
Basically what ended up happening was Cassie called him for a bachelorette party.
00:56:27.880
He was a, he was a member of like this whole bachelorette party strip club thing.
00:56:31.540
Um, so, um, he shows up, basically gets called because no one else was available.
00:56:37.040
He goes to do this strip thing for a bachelorette party.
00:57:05.620
And Cassie's there by herself or so he thinks, or so he thinks, right?
00:57:11.980
Um, he goes in and they rub baby on each other, right?
00:57:19.000
Um, she was wearing red lingerie, red heels and sunglasses indoors.
00:57:22.960
And when he went to this hotel to meet her, it was the Bremacy Park Hotel in Manhattan.
00:57:32.980
Um, her husband, uh, so she's, and she said, hey, my husband is here.
00:57:43.120
Because obviously he doesn't know who Cassie is at this point.
00:57:49.620
And then he goes into the room and he sees someone there wearing a white robe, a bandana
00:57:56.440
And he's like, he didn't know who the fuck it was.
00:57:58.180
It wasn't until he heard the person speak that it was like, oh, that's fucking Diddy.
00:58:06.300
He don't want the, he don't want the stripper to know who he was.
00:58:09.680
Um, so they went into a large living room with a suite, uh, bottles of baby oil and astral
00:58:19.500
Um, he walks into a room and sees the guys, he's wearing a bandana, hat, white robe, referred
00:58:29.620
When he spoke to the stripper, that's when the stripper recognizes his voice.
00:58:37.540
Um, they started rubbing baby oil on each other, him and Cassie.
00:58:42.540
Uh, while they were doing this, uh, Diddy was in a corner gooning.
00:58:52.680
It's what these new people call it for whacking him.
00:59:04.020
Um, Diddy, and, and, uh, Diddy told him how he didn't like his boss.
00:59:08.340
The stripper worked for a guy that Diddy didn't like.
00:59:22.040
They call him back like 10 minutes later and say, Hey, you want to come back up again?
00:59:40.780
He goes back up and they basically do it again.
00:59:48.080
The first time you went for just a few minutes.
00:59:56.720
Um, they met at multiple hotels, the intercontinental, Diddy's house on 56, her house on a West end,
01:00:07.500
And, um, they, they used the nickname black to meet whenever he showed up at a hotel.
01:00:23.720
Um, Cassie would always text and contact them if she wanted something.
01:00:27.440
He would contact them somewhere between one hour to a couple of days in advance.
01:00:33.560
Diddy told them, uh, to rub each other in baby oil.
01:00:37.920
So he was there watching and instructing how things would go.
01:00:41.040
He would tell them to separate if things got too hot.
01:00:44.480
One time, um, he told them to role play that they met at an airport.
01:00:48.320
They did a really terrible job of acting and that didn't last long.
01:00:56.760
Um, he would give him instructions like, Hey, don't come yet or whatever.
01:01:01.200
If he was going to, you know, ejaculate, um, the second time.
01:01:06.080
So the first time they, they smashed, he didn't give any instructions.
01:01:09.080
He was just sitting there going in the second time.
01:01:11.160
And the many other times afterwards, that's when he started giving instructions.
01:01:17.580
Put, uh, you would instruct them to put baby oil.
01:01:27.060
He would instruct him to, um, ejaculate, um, inside her or in her stomach or on her stomach.
01:01:36.160
Um, sometimes he would go in, tell him to stop and then he'd get in there and smash a little bit.
01:01:45.480
This, this is actually very interesting that he said this.
01:01:50.880
But mind you, the prosecution claimed that Diddy forced the prostitute to urinate in her mouth.
01:02:03.380
Now, unless this is another prostitute, but, um, the prosecution did mention this.
01:02:08.180
That's something else I want to mention to you guys.
01:02:09.700
Uh, in the opening statements, uh, the prosecution mentioned how Cassie was sexually abused for years doing this.
01:02:15.780
And how on one instance, uh, the, um, and one of these escorts urinated in her mouth forcefully.
01:02:23.240
But in this situation with this guy, who's actually a prosecution witness, by the way, this guy is a prosecution witness.
01:02:27.920
He claimed that Cassie told him to urinate on her, but one that happened, it was he had never done it before.
01:02:34.980
So I guess the nigga didn't know how to do it properly.
01:02:45.920
He was like, he's like, he just went full, full spray.
01:02:48.780
And they was like, Hey, what the fuck you doing?
01:02:54.480
I got to see what the chat said about this, bro.
01:03:09.300
Like literally he, you know, crazy shit, crazy shit.
01:03:15.060
I just can't believe the family was hearing all this.
01:03:17.880
The family was there first row hearing all this shit.
01:03:21.920
Do you know if the girls were there, like his, his, uh, daughters?
01:03:45.800
He asked her for a test for, um, for STD results.
01:03:50.500
Um, so what he would describe is he said that he would hook up with her.
01:03:55.080
And then after he would smash, Cassie and Diddy would go into a room and they'd be in
01:03:59.540
there for hours and you would just sit there in the living room and you wouldn't leave
01:04:03.840
Sometimes they'd be there for hours or they'd come back out, do another round, et cetera.
01:04:09.060
Um, he gave one instance actually where, um, they, they did a session.
01:04:31.080
Cause after they would have sex, we'd just sit there in the living room, right?
01:04:35.160
And they paid him to just sit there, um, in case they wanted to do it, whatever.
01:04:47.380
He throws a liquor bottle at her, misses, smashes the door, the, the, the wall.
01:04:52.900
He grabs her, drags her into the room and he didn't see it, but he heard slapping noises.
01:05:01.520
And she was crying, um, saying stop, stop, stop, et cetera.
01:05:08.780
So, um, so he, he heard this and then the prosecutor asked him, Hey, why don't you ever
01:05:15.540
And he said he was scared because did he had taken a picture of his ID and he felt fear
01:05:22.960
Um, I asked him if she was ever under the drugs or whatever.
01:05:28.320
He said that she was under MDMA only one time he showed up and she was passed out.
01:05:33.340
Um, which actually goes against what some of what the prosecution is saying.
01:05:42.140
He mentioned that when he took the MDMA, he got paid like five or $6,000.
01:05:46.100
And, uh, the prosecutor asked him, like, what did he do after?
01:05:48.480
He said he went out to times square, gave everybody a hundred dollars and he spent all the money.
01:06:09.720
He mentioned another situation where him and this other guy were hooking up with Cassie and Diddy was there.
01:06:15.700
And the guy was apparently staring at Diddy and Diddy didn't like that.
01:06:19.360
I said, nigga, what the fuck are you staring at?
01:06:21.280
And the girl's like, oh, are you not looking at him?
01:06:22.660
He's like, hey, you got to stop fucking staring.
01:06:32.560
But Cassie ran out the room when he yelled at this guy.
01:06:35.100
When Diddy yelled at this guy, saying, what the fuck are you staring at?
01:06:47.680
He said he would get paid somewhere between $700 to $5,000 to $6,000 every single time he showed up.
01:06:54.940
Oh, he said that after he saw Diddy beat her that time, he couldn't get a hard-on after that if he was in a room.
01:07:02.380
So he wouldn't get paid sometimes when he would show up to have sex for her.
01:07:17.540
And then one time he mentioned how she jumped in his lap after he had yelled at her or something like that.
01:07:22.900
And they never kissed, but this time they did kiss.
01:07:26.100
And Diddy came in and they were about to hook up.
01:07:28.020
And Diddy came in and he's like, yeah, I like that.
01:07:36.260
Now, the prosecution, the defense, cross-examined after that, but I had to leave at that point.
01:07:42.280
So I didn't catch the cross-examination, but I already know that they're going to whoop his ass on this.
01:07:45.360
Because there was a lot of things here that were questionable.
01:07:49.280
Also, there was lots of things here that actually provided defense for the defense.
01:07:55.160
Because in a lot of these situations, she would contact him, she would call him, et cetera.
01:08:00.120
So, now, mind you, when I left, I left around 4.30.
01:08:04.720
So they couldn't have cross-examined him that long.
01:08:07.220
So I assume when I come back in tomorrow, that's where they're going to pick up.
01:08:16.880
Guys, I hope you enjoyed the day one of the recap.
01:08:26.260
I might come with you tomorrow just for a little bit.
01:08:29.840
But if it gets too creepy, I'm just going to get out.
01:08:38.360
Carter says, only if the Feds can get Abba next.
01:08:42.820
Were you at Diddy's trial or R. Kelly's trial talking about P?
01:08:50.180
Valexia says, I know you said you was going to be very busy,
01:08:54.120
but how does it look after the first day for a chance to get your book signed?
01:09:16.560
But tomorrow, we'll be able to start the shit way sooner.
01:09:20.760
Because I'll probably have Angie have my phone shot,
01:09:29.460
Yeah, because they don't like you with the phone inside, right?
01:10:21.960
and try to make this a bit more higher quality for you guys.
01:10:25.080
because I'm going to film it during the day, guys.
01:10:37.220
we're going to be probably doing this thing at 5.30 tomorrow.
