00:00:18.280
We got a lot to talk about, people. A lot, man.
00:00:23.020
Woo! Give me ones in the chat if sound is... Let me mute that. My bad, guys.
00:00:27.220
I'm a one-man show today, so... Okay. So, I'm just monitoring the thing, making sure it's good.
00:00:32.220
But yeah, give me ones in the chat. All right, cool. We got ones in the chat.
00:00:34.520
All right, guys. Welcome to the second episode of Fed It, okay?
00:00:37.340
We are going to break down... I don't got a shirt and tie today, but I do have one of my old raid shirts that I used to wear back in the day when we would raid a house.
00:00:45.240
You know what I'm saying? You guys ain't never going to catch me wearing this out in public, but this is...
00:00:52.000
So, you know, this is what we used to wear back in the day, or when I did.
00:00:56.940
You know, whenever we hit a house or whatever, you know, you'd wear your vest, and you'd put it over this, and then, you know, obviously, this would clearly identify you.
00:01:10.600
Well, yeah. If the sound is good to you guys, I see a bunch of ones in the chat.
00:01:19.320
So, today, we're going to talk about the YNW Melly case.
00:01:30.600
Some of you guys might not know who this guy is.
00:01:44.000
Anytime we break down a celeb case, what I'll do first, guys,
00:01:46.580
is always break down a Wikipedia page for y'all.
00:01:58.480
Known professionally as YNW Melly, Young Nigger World.
00:02:02.580
He is best known for his songs, Murder My Mind, Mixed Personalities.
00:02:08.640
And he also did one featuring Juice WRLD as well.
00:02:12.820
And then, in November 2019, he releases debut album Melly vs. Melvin,
00:02:20.320
So, the reason why it's called Melly vs. Melvin, guys,
00:02:22.180
is that he said in interviews before that he has six different personalities
00:02:25.280
and the world's only been exposed to three of them.
00:02:28.380
And we're going to touch on that a little bit more later on.
00:02:31.720
Because I don't know if he's all there mentally.
00:02:35.700
In February 2019, he was arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree murder
00:02:38.600
and faced life imprisonment for the death penalty if convicted.
00:02:42.040
He's also the suspect of a 2017 murder of a sheriff's deputy in Gifford.
00:02:45.900
And this is where he's originally from, guys, Gifford, which is up there by,
00:02:58.060
His mom had him when he was 14 years old, guys.
00:03:00.260
So, I've done a little bit of research on his background and everything.
00:03:02.940
So, let's go over his criminal history real quick.
00:03:06.820
Like, your criminal history doesn't necessarily make you guilty.
00:03:12.000
Most of the time, your criminal history is used as an enhancement for when you actually
00:03:18.780
In a state, I don't know how much it weighs, but in the federal system, your past convictions,
00:03:23.540
remember, not just your past arrest, your past convictions, you know, definitely add to
00:03:31.200
So, he got arrested before for one count of discharging of firemen in public after firing
00:03:35.520
shots at three people near Vero Beach High School.
00:03:39.260
And he spent a year in jail because that 2017, he was arrested again for violating probation.
00:03:43.280
Spent several months in jail, at least in 2018.
00:03:46.240
And then on June 3rd, 2018, in Fort Myers, Florida, he was arrested for possession of marijuana,
00:03:51.160
possession of weapon or ammunition by a convicted felon and drug paraphernalia.
00:03:55.060
And then he was arrested again January 3rd, 2019, in Fort Myers, possession of marijuana.
00:03:59.220
And then February 12th is obviously the case we're going to talk about now, okay, which
00:04:10.780
He was basically complex reported that he was, him and his buddy, Bortland, who's his
00:04:15.540
co-defendant, who we're going to talk about here in a second.
00:04:17.680
His name is YNW Bortland, aka real name Cortland Henry, was also a suspect in that.
00:04:26.760
A stray bullet basically hit an off-duty Indian River County Sheriff's Office deputy, okay?
00:04:31.480
So let me look at the chat real quick, make sure I'm not missing anything here.
00:04:37.380
Okay, so guys, for the rest of this, for the rest of the show, I'm going to refer to Melly
00:04:45.020
as just Melly, even though his last name is Demons, which is fitting.
00:04:50.140
And I'm going to refer to his buddy as Henry, or yeah, I'm going to refer to his buddy as
00:04:55.960
So Melly and Henry are the two defendants, okay?
00:04:59.780
So I'm going to give you guys a basic overview of what happened.
00:05:04.060
And they were coming from a music studio, right?
00:05:07.220
And when they were coming from the music studio, they said that they got shot at by a drive-by
00:05:13.220
And basically, the police didn't buy the story.
00:05:17.640
They did a lot of investigation, which we're going to break down here in thorough detail.
00:05:22.640
And basically, this is a very strong case from what I've read, guys.
00:05:26.920
And I want you guys to go along with me here so you guys can let me know what you guys think.
00:05:34.380
And what circumstantial evidence means, guys, is that on its own independently, the evidence
00:05:39.760
But when you combine it with other pieces of circumstantial evidence, it builds a story and
00:05:48.480
But the way the prosecution is going to present the case and the way the prosecution has already
00:05:53.500
shown the facts, there is really no other real viable option, okay?
00:05:59.020
And I'm going to break down at the end the state's strengths and weaknesses and the defense's
00:06:07.860
So what I'm going to show you guys is the actual arrest and court paperwork for this case,
00:06:15.540
I'm going to pull it up and we're going to read this bad boy together, okay, guys?
00:06:22.140
So we're going to go through this thing very, very thoroughly.
00:06:40.840
As you can see right here, this is the day he was arrested.
00:06:43.920
He turned himself in on February 13, 2019, right?
00:06:50.640
And then here are the charges, murder premeditated, murder one, two counts, okay?
00:06:57.700
And just so you guys know, this charge carries a death penalty.
00:07:00.420
Florida is one of the states that still has the death penalty, guys.
00:07:06.860
And Mads, thank you so much for helping me out with the chat because I won't be looking at it too much.
00:07:10.900
You know, I'll glance over it every now and then, but I'm focused on, like, breaking this thing down for y'all.
00:07:19.820
So remember how I told you guys that there's really, mostly there's two ways to get, like, an arrest warrant for someone.
00:07:25.560
You can go to a grand jury and present your case, right?
00:07:27.160
If you guys didn't watch it, go check the other episode out where I broke down probable cause and everything else like that.
00:07:34.160
I will answer questions at the end of the show, okay?
00:07:36.440
I'll definitely answer questions at the end of the show.
00:07:40.640
So you got an indictment where you go and present your case in front of a grand jury, right?
00:07:46.840
And then they return a true bill, which means they're formally charging him.
00:07:50.300
Or you could submit something called an affidavit as the investigator, right?
00:07:53.860
So in this case, a defendant, a detective, right, wrote up an affidavit, brought it to a judge, swore to it that it's true and correct to the best of his knowledge, right?
00:08:04.520
Once he signed it, once the judge signed it, he gets an arrest warrant and then he goes and picks up Mellie.
00:08:09.500
But in this case, you know, with celebrities, they self-surrender 99% of the time.
00:08:12.500
Because all you got to do is just, hey, you're wanted, hit up his publicist, hit up his manager, and, you know what I'm saying, he's going to surrender 9 out of 10 times.
00:08:19.800
Very rarely do celebrities, like, go on the run.
00:08:21.880
And if they do, it's very stupid because they get caught very easily.
00:08:24.400
But anyway, this is the probable cause affidavit here, okay?
00:08:29.460
It looks like the detective's name here is Garcia Nestor from, let's see, Broward Sheriff's Office?
00:08:40.920
But, yeah, Garcia Nestor, that's the officer name, right?
00:08:46.460
So this is, yeah, this is just some court stuff here, right?
00:08:55.700
Jamel Demons, remember, guys, this is YNW Melly.
00:08:57.940
So every time you guys see Demons, that's going to be Melly.
00:09:01.100
And then YNW Bortland is Henry, or Cortland Henry, okay?
00:09:11.000
And these are his two alleged victims, by the way, too.
00:09:29.800
So Anthony Williams and Christopher Thomas Jr., okay?
00:09:40.180
Sack Chaser's on the left, guys, the darker-skinned guy.
00:09:43.940
And then Christopher Thomas, a.K.A., YNW Choovy, is on the right, the lighter-skinned guy.
00:09:49.240
These are his two best friends, guys, childhood friends.
00:09:53.200
So that's why this case is so, it's a little strange.
00:10:01.000
They also made music, and they were good friends with him.
00:10:05.040
So, or at least until this thing allegedly happened.
00:10:09.220
So let's pull up this affidavit again, and let's break this thing line by line.
00:10:12.740
And as I read it, guys, I'm going to stop and tell you, like, why the detectives probably did what they did, okay?
00:10:18.120
So I'm going to actually, like, go through and tell y'all the investigative techniques
00:10:20.660
and what was probably going through their mind when they took each investigative endeavor.
00:10:24.140
Like I told y'all before, this case is heavily circumstantial.
00:10:28.000
But, right, with circumstantial evidence, when you couple it with other pieces of circumstantial evidence,
00:10:33.460
the case gets stronger and stronger, and it snowballs, okay?
00:10:52.080
So here's the affidavit, guys, right, like I told you, right?
00:10:54.940
So here, and he brought this to the judge and the judge signed it.
00:11:00.820
Honor about 26th of October in the year of 2018, in the county of Broward, state of Florida,
00:11:05.840
Jamel Demons and Cortland Henry did then and there unlawfully and feloniously while acting as principles
00:11:12.680
kill and murder Anthony Williams, a human being, by shooting him with a firearm
00:11:16.580
with a premeditated intent to cause the death of said Anthony Williams.
00:11:20.400
And during the course thereof, Jamel Demons did actually possess and discharge a firearm.
00:11:24.700
And as a result, death was inflicted on Anthony Williams, contrary to sections.
00:11:31.340
And then that's the Florida statue right there, 782, right?
00:11:33.700
And then the next one here is, so Anthony Williams is the first one.
00:11:38.180
And then count two is Christopher Thomas, okay?
00:11:41.260
So remember, guys, just so you know, Williams is the darker skinned guy and Thomas is the
00:11:47.980
So Williams is Y&W Choovy, sack chaser, the darker skinned guy.
00:11:52.940
And then Thomas, Y&W Choovy, is the lighter skinned guy, right?
00:11:57.300
And this is going to be important because they were sitting in a car.
00:12:00.240
And I'm going to show you guys a diagram as well.
00:12:06.620
Now we're going to get into meat and bones is a bad boy.
00:12:10.040
On October 26, 2018, at 4.35 a.m., Cornland Henry, Y&W Melly's friend, entered the emergency
00:12:14.420
room at Miramar, Memorial Miramar, and they put the address requesting assistance for two
00:12:19.200
passengers in his vehicle, a 2018 Jeep Compass, okay?
00:12:22.400
As they were shot multiple times, a Miramar officer, a Mangor, who was working the security
00:12:27.040
detail, exited the hospital and made contact with the aforementioned vehicle that was stopped
00:12:31.300
in the loading zone on the north side of the Memorial Miramar Hospital, okay?
00:12:35.500
Just so you guys know, nine out of ten times, any fairly big hospital is almost always going
00:12:40.880
to have a police officer there in uniform, okay?
00:12:45.380
So this is very common that a police officer would be there to be the first one on scene
00:12:50.840
Especially for any type of gunshot wound trauma or whatever, because that's automatically
00:12:56.060
So he's going to be there probably to take the first report and then call detectives over
00:12:59.720
depending on what type of situation it is, okay?
00:13:01.960
So both passengers were unresponsive and exhibited multiple gunshot wounds.
00:13:07.380
The aforementioned vehicle transporting both victims also sustained a minimum of eight
00:13:12.800
projectile entry points on the right side exterior and one visible projectile point to
00:13:19.600
So this is important, guys, so keep that in mind.
00:13:21.420
There's eight shots, okay, on the right side of the vehicle when they pull up, and he's
00:13:27.440
coming in with two guys that are bloody and non-responsive, okay?
00:13:31.320
Let me make sure y'all are all good in the chat real fast.
00:13:39.420
Give me ones in the chat if we're good, good, good.
00:13:44.080
So, all right, so let's go back to what we were looking at.
00:13:53.600
The front right passenger, Anthony Williams, remember, guys, the dark-skinned guy, sustained
00:13:58.840
gunshot wounds to his torso and head, while the rear passenger, Christopher Thomas Jr.,
00:14:03.220
sustained several gunshot wounds to his back and head.
00:14:06.340
Both passengers on the right side of the vehicle were pronounced deceased by medical staff
00:14:12.040
So, they pretty much were DOA, guys, dead on arrival, all right?
00:14:15.780
Gunshot wounds to the head, and they were both on the right side of the vehicle.
00:14:20.040
So, front passenger seat, front and right hand front passenger seat, and then the right
00:14:28.660
And then we're going to talk about where Mellie and Henry was driving.
00:14:37.760
This is where stuff starts to get questionable.
00:14:39.860
So, right here, Henry was questioned by this affiant.
00:14:42.240
According to him, he departed a recording studio in Fort Lauderdale.
00:14:44.900
So, just so y'all know, as soon as they pulled up, that police officer that was on scene got
00:14:52.340
And homicide detectives, typically, guys, work 24-7.
00:14:55.540
So, you know, they had that show, The First 48.
00:14:58.840
The reason why homicide detectives respond immediately like this, because, granted, this
00:15:04.280
Somebody had to call them, and they show up and respond.
00:15:06.200
Is because murder cases, if you don't make a substantial amount of progress in the first
00:15:11.920
48 hours, haha, the TV show, it's very unlikely you're not going to solve the case.
00:15:16.960
Because with murder cases, you need to be able to preserve the evidence, okay?
00:15:21.540
When we're talking about DNA, ballistics, weapons, etc.
00:15:24.660
You need to be able to get in there, investigate immediately, and get all the evidence you can
00:15:29.320
while you can, and or at bare minimum, preserve the crime scene so that you can adequately
00:15:35.520
assess it, process it, get the evidence that you need, etc.
00:15:39.260
So, this detective rolls out there immediately.
00:15:42.600
And the AFIAN guy, just so you know, is the detective that wrote this document.
00:15:47.820
So, he is probably the lead detective on this case, which means he's the primary investigator,
00:15:54.360
Because there's always a case officer, case detective, case agent, whatever it is.
00:15:59.340
You're the one that's presenting it to the prosecutor, etc.
00:16:02.080
So, according to him, so here's where things start getting very interesting, okay, guys?
00:16:06.960
And you guys are going to see what I mean by this here in a second.
00:16:10.800
According to him, he departed a recording studio in Fort Lauderdale with two victims in his
00:16:14.580
So, Henry stated he drove on I-595 and I-75 and exited at Miramar Parkway heading west.
00:16:20.080
So, just so y'all know, these are big, very, these are interstate highways in Florida,
00:16:28.560
But all you need to know is that he said, the biggest thing is that he left with the
00:16:36.480
Henry immediately, so he goes, Henry stated that just past Southwest 160th Ave, Dykes Road,
00:16:43.120
a vehicle pulled next to him and started shooting.
00:16:45.980
Henry immediately lowered his body position to the floorboards in a protective posture
00:16:52.740
Henry added that when he sat upright, his friends, Williams and Thomas, were shot and
00:16:55.920
he immediately proceeded to the nearest hospital.
00:16:59.300
Detective Toya, Toyota, later drove with Henry to have him identify the specific location
00:17:06.140
Henry pointed out the 16100 block of Miramar Parkway.
00:17:12.580
It should be noted, the area was shut down between 160th Ave and 172nd Ave on Miramar
00:17:17.780
Parkway and was closely examined for any evidence to corroborate the statements made by Henry.
00:17:21.880
After a long and exhausting examination, no evidence was found.
00:17:26.040
They respond immediately and they make things happen.
00:17:27.940
So, they closed off the area that Henry pointed out.
00:17:31.040
They go, they close that bad boy off, send detectives, CSI, everybody, everyone scouring
00:17:36.320
the thing for bullets, blood, whatever it is, right?
00:17:38.300
Trying to find fragments of evidence so that they go after these alleged drive-by shooters,
00:17:52.540
Next, Henry's hands were processed by Miramar Police Department crime scene technician Michael
00:17:56.660
Kelly first by submission for laboratory testing with Tritec gunshot residue evidence.
00:18:00.800
Long story short, guys, they processed his hands to see if he had any type of gunshot
00:18:04.100
residue in his hands and it came back negative.
00:18:06.440
So, they can conclude that he did not shoot a gun, all right?
00:18:12.380
On October 26, 2018, uh, yeah, and guys, don't worry, I'm going to hit you with the
00:18:18.060
Metal Gear Solid thing every time a suspect happens, all right?
00:18:23.100
So, on October 26, this AFI, along with Detective Toyota, made contact with Dontavious
00:18:28.480
Wither, okay, who initially identified himself as Dontavious Williams at 18521 Southwest 44th
00:18:35.700
This is the last known residence of the victim.
00:18:37.340
So, now they go and talk to a potential witness, okay, guys, so you guys know what's
00:18:41.300
So, step one, they go to the alleged crime scene, process it, no evidence.
00:18:45.260
So, at this point, the detectives are like, what the hell's going on?
00:18:47.520
So, now they're going to start interviewing people to try to figure out what the story
00:18:50.480
So, um, and these, this is the last known residence of where the victims lived, right?
00:18:55.480
So, this guy, Williams, this witness, aka Wither, right, we'll just say, call him Wither, okay?
00:19:02.080
Um, Wither says, they, Henry, Mellie, Thomas Williams, right, the two victims and, uh, Henry
00:19:08.740
and Demons, aka Mellie, were at a recording studio in Fort Lauderdale and all left together
00:19:16.280
Wither stated he arrived a little ahead of the victims at the aforementioned residence.
00:19:19.660
Wither stated it wasn't until later that he found out his friends were shot.
00:19:23.580
Wither said that Demons, aka, remember, guys, Mellie, was in his vehicle, a red Mitsubishi
00:19:27.660
and the gray Jeep was occupied by Henry Williams and Thomas.
00:19:31.020
So, remember, guys, they were driving in a Jeep, the murder occurred in a Jeep, but Withers
00:19:34.480
is over here saying that Mellie was with him in his red Mitsubishi, okay?
00:19:38.440
And Henry also stated that Mellie was not with him in the vehicle, okay?
00:19:44.060
You got two people here saying that Mellie was not in the Jeep, okay?
00:19:48.700
Um, so they go, so the police, the police asked Withers if they knew the location of Mellie,
00:19:54.600
because at this point they want to talk to Mellie, right?
00:19:58.960
However, it was later discovered that Withers was lying to the Affian, aka, the detective,
00:20:03.360
and he, Withers, had just come from a residence of Frederick Givens, aka Fredo Bang,
00:20:16.880
So, we got one story that's not adding up with the guy that was driving the car, Henry,
00:20:22.580
and then now Withers' story isn't checking out either.
00:20:26.660
The location of the studio, so next they go to the recording studio, all right?
00:20:31.440
Hold on, let me just open this here, make sure y'all are good in the chat.
00:20:38.300
And, you know, guys, give me some fire emojis in the chat if you guys are enjoying this
00:20:42.020
We're not even getting to the good stuff yet, man.
00:20:44.060
Oh, Lord, we're really about to break this bad boy down.
00:20:50.440
And what I'm trying to do is I read this affidavit for you guys.
00:20:53.220
I'm trying to give you guys what the detectives were doing as they were taking each investigative
00:20:58.720
Because I want you to kind of learn how police run investigations.
00:21:04.520
So you got two stories that aren't adding up, right?
00:21:06.660
So next, now they're going to go to the recording studio.
00:21:09.060
The location of the recording studio is identified as 805 Northeast 4th Street, okay?
00:21:13.160
In Fort Lauderdale, which is about 30 minutes from here, actually, guys.
00:21:19.320
Detectives of Toyota and Bertrand made contact with management on 10-26-2018.
00:21:24.300
The manager of the studio, Albert Price, confirmed the victims were at the recording studio
00:21:28.680
along with Jamel Demons, aka Melly, guys, and Cortland Henry.
00:21:31.740
The manager provided Toyota and Bertrand exits to the studio security cameras.
00:21:37.660
The aforementioned gray Jeep departed the new era studio at 3.20 in the morning, okay?
00:21:44.060
And they say, see, they mention here the video is behind one hour.
00:21:49.080
So the driver was identified as Cortland Henry, right, aka YNW Bortland, and the left rear
00:21:58.560
So they got this on video, guys, okay, that he got in the left rear passenger seat behind
00:22:10.560
Now, remember, guys, Henry never mentioned Melly, okay?
00:22:16.420
And the other witness, Withers, said that Melly was with him.
00:22:22.640
But now they got video evidence showing that Melly actually got in the Jeep, okay?
00:22:31.660
The right front passenger was Anthony Williams.
00:22:35.300
Or, no, the right front passenger was Anthony Williams, the darker-skinned guy, and the right
00:22:39.460
rear passenger was Christopher Thomas Jr., the lighter-skinned guy, right?
00:22:42.140
So dark-skinned guy in the front, the lighter-skinned guy in the back.
00:22:44.640
It should be noted that Demons had a light brown satchel, aka Melly, hanging down on the
00:22:52.300
The satchel appeared to be weighed down, but the contents were unknown.
00:22:56.000
When Christopher Thomas Jr. departed the studio, he was carrying a black satchel in his left
00:23:02.600
And just for references again, guys, right, I want you guys to really get this.
00:23:11.140
So Chris Thomas, the guy that was sitting next to Melly, also had a satchel that was
00:23:19.320
So potentially, he might also have had a gun on him, all right?
00:23:26.340
But this is what the detective is telling you is what he saw.
00:23:32.040
The gray Jeep with the above-listed individuals, Demons, Henry, Williams, and Thomas, departed
00:23:37.480
So now the detectives have it on video that Melly, his co-defendant, and the two victims
00:23:44.440
The red Mitsubishi, driven by Withers, was occupied by Adrian Davis and two other individuals
00:23:54.140
So Melly was not in the red Mitsubishi, like Withers said.
00:24:07.660
So I stated earlier, Withers said he proceeded directly to his residence in Miramar, okay?
00:24:12.340
This was confirmed by the security cameras at the gatehouse at the Sunset Lakes.
00:24:17.060
So they actually looked at surveillance footage of the apartment complex he looked at, okay?
00:24:21.780
The video surveillance cameras at 1700 Miramar Parkway captured the red Mitsubishi and a
00:24:25.820
dark SUV passing Southwest 172nd Ave at 346 AM.
00:24:33.060
This is consistent with the arrival of the red Mitsubishi at the security gates to Sunset
00:24:38.740
Withers had to stop and be identified to enter the residence by the security guards as observed
00:24:46.500
They're basically showing you were here, you traveled in this direction.
00:24:50.980
It's going to set the stage for what's going to come next year very soon.
00:24:53.560
You guys are going to see what I'm talking about.
00:24:55.420
So, as you guys see, there's a lot of holes already, right?
00:25:04.040
Because now they have conflicting stories and they have probable cause to say, I need to
00:25:16.420
I believe, right, that I am going to find probable cause in this vehicle, right?
00:25:26.100
So now they go and search the Jeep that the four individuals were in that we now know were
00:25:32.800
Henry did not tell the police at this point that Melly was in the vehicle with him and
00:25:41.880
The vehicle was maintained in a secure garage at the Miramar PD West substation.
00:25:48.160
So guys, normally when the police sees a vehicle, they'll put it in impound and they'll secure
00:25:53.660
The vehicle is owned by Enterprise Car Rental and rented by the manager of Demons, a.k.a.
00:25:59.740
The evidence was processed by CSI's Carter and Carroll.
00:26:03.060
The vehicle had eight visible projectile holes on the right side of the vehicle.
00:26:06.240
Remember how I told you guys before there were bullet holes on the right-hand side of
00:26:08.680
There was also a projectile hole on the rear lift gate.
00:26:12.620
The vehicle also had visible damage to the interior of the vehicle from projectiles entering
00:26:19.400
A significant amount of blood was on the inside of the passenger side of the vehicle, front
00:26:23.860
Obviously, those are where the two victims were shot.
00:26:25.900
All the projectiles entering the vehicle were concentrated to the right side of the vehicle,
00:26:33.120
We're going to talk about why this is relevant later on.
00:26:35.500
But the vehicles were on the right, the bullets were all coming from the right-hand side,
00:26:41.900
All the evidence was collected and placed into evidence.
00:26:43.900
It should be noted that one single .40 caliber shell casing, Blazer and S&W, was found inside
00:26:50.400
the vehicle on the floorboard of the left rear passenger side.
00:27:01.820
If you got shot in a drive-by shooting, how's there a bullet inside the vehicle?
00:27:14.720
This was the seat that was utilized by demons as observed on the video.
00:27:21.260
This single shell casing also contradicts statements made by Henry saying this incident was a drive-by
00:27:27.520
This supports the evidence that the victims were shot inside the car first and the projectile
00:27:32.020
holes on the exterior was later staged in an effort to misdirect law enforcement investigation.
00:27:39.360
We're not even getting into the bad stuff yet, guys.
00:27:47.640
No, I don't have the surveillance footage of them getting in the vehicle together.
00:28:04.540
So, remember, guys, how they interviewed that Withers guy who said, oh, no, Melly got in
00:28:08.580
So, the detective, now with this conflicting information, he goes running back over, right,
00:28:26.320
After confronting Withers with the video evidence, he, Withers, then changed his story.
00:28:34.560
He said, Demons was in the gray Jeep initially, but along the way, he got out of the Jeep and
00:28:43.080
Withers stated this occurred on I-75 near the Sheridan street exit.
00:28:47.400
Withers stated he was contacted by Melly via Snapchat to pull over on I-75 and meet up.
00:28:54.520
Because that's going to be very important later on.
00:28:56.600
So, he's saying, first he said Melly was in the car with him.
00:29:00.540
Then the police find the video footage to show that Melly actually got in the Jeep.
00:29:03.780
Then, they go back to him and say, hey, you lied.
00:29:10.480
We stopped on I-75 and he just jumped in the vehicle and asked me to pull up and we
00:29:22.600
A search warrant was obtained on the cell phone's cell sites used by Demons, Withers, Williams,
00:29:31.320
Melly, Thomas, and Williams were together and Withers followed behind them.
00:29:34.580
It was determined that Withers did proceed to the residence right where he lived at 18521
00:29:41.420
Southwest 44th Street and arrived at said location around 3.49 a.m.
00:29:44.800
And remember, they got the surveillance footage to back this up.
00:29:47.680
This was also confirmed by the video at the gate to Sunset Lakes.
00:29:51.240
These records also showed a continuous route from the studio to the residence without a
00:30:06.600
So, he literally just told them, I stopped on the side of the road and Melly got in my
00:30:10.400
car, but they got the cell phone footage, the cell phone location stuff that shows the
00:30:22.880
Now, guys, just let me break this down for y'all what cell phones slash cell sites are.
00:30:31.620
I'm very familiar with this because I used to do drug cases.
00:30:34.580
So, phones have location data in them, right, guys?
00:30:39.500
And what you can do is, as an investigator, you can apply for a search warrant, which is
00:30:43.200
basically either a ping, which lets you actively, right?
00:30:47.340
And let me, let me, we'll, actually, you know what, let me, let me see here.
00:30:55.920
Okay, I'll break down all this phone stuff here for you guys in a second.
00:30:59.100
Let's, actually, you know what, no, no, let me break it down first, then we'll continue
00:31:01.460
reading so you guys know what I'm talking about here.
00:31:02.660
All right, let me just stop sharing this real quick.
00:31:13.940
So, you can do something called a ping warrant, which is when you basically, like, can find,
00:31:19.460
You can, like, actively track someone's phone, right?
00:31:22.480
You apply, hey, I believe this subject is involved in drug trafficking or I believe this
00:31:27.100
subject is involved in money laundering or whatever and I need his location to actively
00:31:32.160
build an investigation on him because I can't surveil him, right?
00:31:36.360
Then you got historical cell site data, which will let you basically get the guy's, the guy's
00:31:44.880
Almost like of where his phone was located over a period of time.
00:31:48.380
This is very common in murder cases, drug trafficking cases, anything where, like, something crazy
00:31:52.800
happened and they need to be able to establish the location of the individual when said crime
00:31:58.040
So, obviously, they have all, see how the detectives are building a case?
00:32:04.400
First, they got Henry going in there saying, oh, we got hit with a drive-by shooting, right?
00:32:08.860
Then they got with her saying, oh, Melly was with me in the car.
00:32:11.760
Then they go and get the footage in the, at the music studio, see that that's not true,
00:32:19.000
Then on top of that, the projectiles don't line up with the way, with the way the guys
00:32:24.820
Which we're going to talk about that in even more detail, right?
00:32:27.600
And then they found a shell casing in the car when they did the search warrant of the
00:32:31.280
So, from there, now they have enough probable cause to say, hey, judge, I need to know where
00:32:36.540
Melly was and Bortland was, the two defendants, and I need to also know where this Withers
00:32:44.160
So, what they're effectively doing now is they're getting everyone's location with
00:32:48.420
timestamps to match it back to the solid video they have from the surveillance, okay?
00:32:54.480
So, cell site data, ping data, very common tactic used by law enforcement to get your
00:33:02.340
Especially when you're alleging you were somewhere when you really weren't, which we're
00:33:07.180
So, that's how the detectives were able to get it and build a case and get the probable
00:33:14.380
And getting these through the state is a lot easier through getting it through the feds.
00:33:17.700
So, okay, let's continue on breaking this bad boy down.
00:33:21.320
Give me one in the chat if you guys are enjoying this breakdown, okay?
00:33:23.760
I know we're going very thorough here, but I want y'all to, I want to break down each
00:33:28.460
thing and each investigative technique that the detectives are using so y'all know how they
00:33:42.600
Because I'm very familiar with these warrants myself because I used to do this all the time
00:33:55.140
So, you need to be able to, like, track their phones or track people they know's phones
00:33:58.380
and you have to come up with quite a bit of probable cause to be able to find them.
00:34:03.540
You know, very, very common technique used by law enforcement.
00:34:05.500
But in this case, it was used to establish location of murders, which you guys are going
00:34:30.760
Search warrant for cell phones and cell sites used by demons, right?
00:34:36.500
Then, the cell site warrant for the cell phones of Demons Thomas and Williams revealed
00:34:39.920
they traveled west on Myanmar Parkway but turned north on Southwest 184th Ave towards Pine Boulevard
00:34:47.680
Video evidence shows the gray Jeep compass traveling west in the 19200 block at 353
00:34:59.980
Melly, which is very important, cell phone corresponded with the actual crime scene location,
00:35:04.660
which is within the jurisdictional limits of Miramar, Broward County, Florida.
00:35:12.780
Williams' cell phone also registered at the same location.
00:35:15.480
Remember, guys, Williams' is YNW, Bortland, and Demons' is Melly.
00:35:19.180
Okay, these are the two defendants in the case.
00:35:22.460
The cell phone for Thomas registered, uh, sorry, uh, uh, da-da-da.
00:35:26.940
Okay, Williams' cell phone also registered at the same location as Demons.
00:35:31.240
The cell phone for Thomas registered on a cell phone tower near the crime scene
00:35:34.180
but separate and apart from the false reported drive-by location.
00:35:37.580
This evidence contradicts statements made by Henry at the hospital
00:35:42.460
These records also don't show Demons meeting up with Withers and proceeding home with him.
00:35:52.360
So, basically, the cell phones show that Melly was with his co-defendant the entire time
00:35:58.140
and never got into Mitsubishi with the other guy, Withers, okay?
00:36:05.280
So, now they're putting them all together in the Jeep
00:36:10.320
that YNW, Bortland, a.k.a. Melly's co-defendant,
00:36:15.940
T-Mobile cell phone records show that Demons was traveling from Fort Lauderdale
00:36:21.020
in a western direction starting at 3.20 in the morning
00:36:26.400
This was consistent with video evidence obtained in the case.
00:36:29.180
The records then showed Melly traveling back in an eastern direction
00:36:32.120
with the location of the crime scene being in the path of travel.
00:36:35.180
It should be noted that the original crime scene identified by Henry
00:36:39.320
This investigation revealed that Henry intentionally lied to this investigator
00:36:42.300
and others to deceive and mislead the investigation in an attempt to hide
00:36:45.400
the incriminating truth pertaining to the homicides of Thomas Williams.
00:36:49.820
I don't like that he wrote this in this affidavit, okay?
00:36:55.200
Your job is to present the facts and not come up with conclusions, right?
00:36:59.220
Obviously, at this point, he's like, yo, these motherfuckers are lying.
00:37:03.160
But you should just let the facts speak for themselves
00:37:05.940
and then let the reader come to that conclusion on their own.
00:37:09.460
This is kind of the difference between the state and feds.
00:37:11.240
I would never get away with being able to write this in an affidavit
00:37:25.240
But, you know, for you to put that in an affidavit,
00:37:31.200
These same cell phone records show the cell phones of Demons and Williams
00:37:34.760
moving around the area west of I-75 and Pembroke Pines at 425 in the morning.
00:37:39.640
Remember, guys, they went to the hospital at 435 in the morning,
00:37:46.480
the records of Demons also indicate a departure from the vehicle at 432.
00:38:03.220
he separated from the cell phone belonging to Williams around 432.
00:38:07.340
This was according to the records provided by T-Mobile
00:38:09.760
via a search warrant issued in reference to this case.
00:38:11.840
Evidence shows that Henry and Demons drove around for a period of time
00:38:14.900
with the two dead victims in their vehicles prior to entering the hospital.
00:38:19.600
This was in a calculated effort to establish their version of the incident
00:38:23.620
See, I wouldn't have put that last sentence in there, too.
00:38:25.380
You're good enough with showing that Demons get out the car right before.
00:38:30.060
They pulled cell phone location data for all the phones,
00:38:36.700
Because if I'm not mistaken, all of them were on Mellie's plan.
00:38:46.200
So they were able to get the location data for all the phones
00:38:48.840
to establish that Mellie was there with them in the vehicle.
00:39:05.520
While you guys are in here watching this thing,
00:39:08.300
Because, guys, I was focused on taking notes for this bad boy
00:39:16.320
People were laughing at me like, oh, are you working on the boat?
00:39:18.480
Yes, I was working on the boat to make sure I give y'all the best breakdown
00:39:22.860
So now they have video evidence, right, from the hospital
00:39:26.260
when Henry showed up with the two bodies, right?
00:39:32.200
So evidence obtained from the hospital shows Henry had changed his clothes
00:39:38.020
He was wearing a black T-shirt, but at the hospital he was wearing a black hoodie.
00:39:40.780
The black hoodie was later examined and no forensic evidence was noted.
00:39:43.440
However, the black T-shirt worn under the hoodie by Henry
00:39:45.960
had a bloodstained pattern on it, both front and back.
00:39:49.820
Now, see, now the police are about to start going hard, guys.
00:39:56.060
On November 21st, 2018, okay, about less than a month later,
00:40:01.020
Officer D. Goins of the Fort Lauderdale K-9 unit with K-9 Gunner.
00:40:04.460
So remember, guys, it's Miramar Police Department that's doing this case.
00:40:07.820
So they call Fort Lauderdale Police Department to help them out
00:40:11.600
was requested to assist in searching the area identified as suspect crime seen
00:40:18.860
hey, we got hit with a drive-by shooting over here.
00:40:22.340
They couldn't find no shell casings, no bullets, no glass, no nothing.
00:40:27.520
they find a rural area of where they suspect the crime actually happened.
00:40:37.320
probably this dog is probably trained to detect bullets.
00:40:40.340
So the K-9 showed reaction to an area on the side of the road
00:40:45.240
approximately 870 feet from the nearest north slash south running cross street, okay?
00:40:50.700
And just so y'all know, like, the K-9s have names,
00:40:52.900
and they're considered, like, sworn officers themselves, just so y'all know.
00:40:55.660
So the dog has a badge number and all that stuff, right?
00:40:58.700
And then if called to testify, right, the K-9 handler can come in and talk about the dog,
00:41:06.740
They'll go over, you know, what the dog is specifically trained to do, whatever.
00:41:09.780
So these dogs are legitimately, like, sworn officers almost.
00:41:15.000
Like, one of these dogs is, like, 10 to 20 grand.
00:41:23.320
and they bring it to the area that they suspect is the real crime scene, all right?
00:41:31.140
870 feet from the nearest north slash south running cross exit.
00:41:39.160
Eight 40-caliber Blazer S&W shell casings on the ground next to the roadway in the shoulder.
00:41:46.880
Two different types of shards of glass were found in close proximity to the shell casings.
00:41:52.100
The first type of glass was a clear glass consistent with the front right passenger window of the vehicle,
00:41:56.280
and the second type was a tinted glass consistent with the right rear passenger side of the vehicle,
00:42:06.440
The casings were sent to the BSO crime lab, Broward County Sheriff's Office,
00:42:13.480
A closer examination of the newly discovered crime scene revealed the vehicle was stopped at this location
00:42:25.200
The other side of the road also had shards of glass consistent with the passenger windows of the vehicle.
00:42:32.600
This was a contradiction to the statement made by Henry on the morning of the shooting
00:42:38.240
This was clearly not a drive-by shooting, and no other vehicle pulled up next to them
00:42:44.240
This clearly shows a pattern of deceitfulness by Henry,
00:42:46.960
all in an effort to mislead this investigation.
00:42:49.040
So, now, guys, they identified a new crime scene, the real crime scene,
00:43:04.260
and they find shards of glass consistent with the Jeep rental that they had.
00:43:10.640
And remember, Henry did not tell them any of this.
00:43:30.380
another search warrant was obtained for the 2018 Jeep Compass previously mentioned.
00:43:34.660
And I'm sorry, guys, that I'm, like, laughing about this or whatever,
00:43:39.820
because I'm thinking like the investigator right now, right?
00:43:48.220
yo, I'm doing another search warrant on this goddamn thing.
00:43:57.180
the vehicle was maintained and secured storage at the Miramar PD West substation,
00:43:59.920
the reason why they say that is because they're basically telling you
00:44:02.620
that, listen, we got a search warrant the first time,
00:44:07.720
but the whole time pending the second search warrant,
00:44:15.600
That's why they keep repeating themselves on that.
00:44:19.260
So CSI's Michael, Kelly, and Carol conducted a trajectory analysis
00:44:22.800
using rods and string to determine flight path of the projectiles
00:44:31.880
in a manner inconsistent with the vehicle being in motion.
00:44:36.060
Oh, shit! Oh, shit! Oh, shit! Oh, shit! Oh, shit!
00:44:38.460
The trajectory analysis determined the flight path
00:44:40.820
of eight projectiles had entered from the rear left gate area
00:44:55.820
there was no way that the two victims could have been shot
00:45:06.160
and also on the way how the victims were sitting
00:45:11.200
They literally recreated the bullet trajectories
01:07:44.460
what do you guys think the jury's going to think?
01:07:46.320
Y'all are citizens listening to this case right now.
01:08:16.060
and they're also trying to take his measurements.
01:08:18.220
And the reason why they want to take his body measurements
01:08:21.680
they're going to bring ballistics experts at everything
01:08:23.660
and they're going to recreate the entire murder
01:09:09.400
autopsy reports that show that there was no way
01:09:11.960
that they could have gotten shot by the right side
01:09:32.100
you can convict someone on circumstantial stuff
01:10:07.080
You don't need a motive to prove a murder case.
01:10:16.480
he intended to do this for some kind of reason.
01:10:29.140
because he would have less people to split it up with.
01:10:45.800
apparently he had said some disrespectful things
01:10:55.400
It could have been the financial thing or that,
01:15:03.740
I think it's because they're doing a lot of depositions,
01:15:19.960
If I catch a third gun charge possession and make bond,
01:15:30.480
most States will not let you purchase a firearm.
01:15:32.380
If you've been indicted by a grand jury for a felony.
01:15:42.860
they're going to run a criminal background check on you.
01:15:44.820
And when they run a criminal background check on you,
01:15:46.500
they're going to see that you had been arrested for a felony.
01:15:50.520
I'm almost certain that most States will not let you buy a gun.
01:16:08.180
a dude that's been convicted of a felony goes to the shooting range thinking,
01:16:12.800
They can still get you for felon and possession of a firearm federally.
01:16:18.260
Cause sometimes they don't go ahead and do a background check on you when you
01:16:40.000
that Melly was there and they're going to have to try to articulate that
01:16:51.080
this is going to be tough one for the prosecutor.
01:16:53.740
that's why even though they don't have a murder weapon and they don't have
01:16:58.120
the circumstantial evidence they have is extremely strong because together it
01:17:01.780
paints a story that there was no other logical,
01:17:05.080
that there was no other logical situation that could have happened,
01:17:08.380
And the thing that makes this worse guys is that all the witnesses grossly
01:17:18.960
that even though that they don't have their murder weapon and no video
01:17:22.200
the witnesses did a terrible job of trying to cover it up.
01:17:26.160
So that's going to make the circumstantial evidence even stronger because it
01:17:34.520
that's why this case is so strong is because it,
01:17:37.780
it literally just smacks the shit out of their stories with her,
01:18:00.660
the ballistic evidence is what's going to make the case very strong as well because
01:18:05.880
with the ballistic evidence shows that they could not have been shot on the side of the
01:18:10.740
vehicle that Henry claimed with a drive-by shooting.
01:18:14.180
the bullets came from the left side of the vehicle.
01:18:19.600
Mellie with a satchel weighed down on the video on the,
01:18:22.540
on the surveillance footage and Mellie to his own admission in his documentary and
01:18:41.120
They're going to paint Mellie as a violent gang member that killed his friends for
01:18:56.340
he is erratic and killed his friends because one of them disrespected his mom.
01:19:00.440
That's how they're going to try to paint Mellie as,
01:19:08.400
but not crazy to the point where that he can claim insanity and get a defense.
01:19:17.280
the reason why they're going after them for premeditated murder is because they,
01:19:23.740
shot the car up to try to illustrate a story that they,
01:19:51.380
can stir up and show that Melly wasn't at the scene and that,
01:19:59.340
That's going to be tough because they have Melly on footage in the vehicle and
01:20:05.620
cell side data showing that he was there until three minutes before Portland went
01:20:13.420
his own family said that they got a FaceTime call from him and it looked like he
01:20:26.640
And they probably answered the question thinking like,
01:20:29.420
He was in a area where it was wooded or whatever.
01:20:31.580
Cause remember the family doesn't think that he shot his friends.
01:20:51.780
So they're going to think that he really was out in the woods,
01:20:56.020
that was bad because that's what the detectives wanted.
01:21:01.960
which what it corresponds with the cell phone data that they have.
01:21:42.520
I think murder on my mind came out before the murder.
01:21:56.160
making sure you see what questions you guys have.
01:22:00.200
were they able to check them for gun residue on his persons?
01:22:06.100
Cause Melly obviously like he got out the car and like,
01:22:11.480
that's why Melly didn't go to the hospital guys.
01:22:14.120
He didn't go to the hospital with Henry because he was the shooter.
01:22:26.000
they would have done gun residue on his hands and they would have found it.
01:22:36.060
since iMessage is different than SMS text message and does not get sent to your cell phone provider,
01:22:39.940
do you think that could be discoverable even after being deleted?
01:22:45.500
So what happens is if I want to get a conversation,
01:22:47.880
let's say you had a conversation on Instagram and I know it,
01:22:54.060
I need y'all to preserve communicate communication on this day at this time between these two accounts.
01:23:00.060
And then I'll go ahead and get a search warrant for that conversation or subpoena,
01:23:18.140
And it proved that they never like actually stopped on I-75.
01:23:22.640
And it showed the conversation he had with his girl,
01:23:41.960
What case do you want me to break down for King Von?
01:23:59.840
This is a connoisseur of cars and big to take old biddies.
01:25:11.520
I could do the Epstein and Maxwell case for y'all.
01:25:18.560
federal cases are easier for me because I know how the federal system works.
01:25:22.380
I'm obviously very aware of the state system too,
01:25:36.860
I didn't get to break down everything on that one.
01:25:45.240
would passing a lie detector test help his case?
01:26:06.640
I'm just waiting on one more piece of information.
01:26:20.900
myron does airplane mode work to confuse a search warrant?
01:26:24.620
it does not because all the data is still going to be on the device and,
01:26:28.760
and they can pull deleted information from your,
01:26:30.760
from your phone because it leaves metadata on there.
01:26:36.840
but I would not be surprised if they try to go after him because he,
01:26:49.900
between him lying to the police about where Melly was being reluctant to
01:26:57.300
they can definitely still pull Snapchat messages after you delete those guys.
01:27:12.320
I don't know sometime this week I should be able to do it.
01:27:25.580
and that's why I wanted to read the affidavit with you guys alongside and like,
01:27:28.940
let you guys like kind of see where did detect his mindsets were at when they did each
01:27:36.960
but they don't really know the mindset of the investigator.
01:27:40.640
this detective was probably pissed off that they kept lying to him.
01:27:50.220
He did two search warrants for the same goddamn car and he put ballistic experts in there,
01:28:15.480
they're not going to get him for murder on that one.
01:28:23.180
I seriously doubt little Tim's going to do any time for that one.
01:28:54.020
What makes Melly's case unbeatable compared to OJ's case,
01:29:00.220
you guys got to remember the reason why the OJ case,
01:29:09.720
The reason why OJ beat that case wasn't necessarily because,
01:29:17.180
The reason why OJ beat that case was because one of the main detectives on
01:29:21.120
the case had character issues and they were able to prove that,
01:29:27.880
So what the defense did was they attacked the evidence,
01:29:32.020
And they attacked the officer's character and they were able to show that
01:29:48.240
they didn't have cell site information back then.
01:29:52.420
If they had the cell phone stuff they have now back then,
01:30:01.500
I don't know if California has a death penalty still.
01:30:06.780
They have cell phone data putting Melly at the scene.
01:30:38.700
They didn't have the technology that they have now,
01:30:40.240
the sophisticated technology to do cell phone triangulation,
01:30:45.880
When they do a cell phone warrants or whatever,
01:30:48.520
we're talking only a couple hundred meters of certainty.
01:30:51.600
It is like almost down to the goddamn foot of how you are.
01:31:01.620
The technology wasn't sophisticated enough to put him at the scene at the
01:31:08.660
So Johnny Cochran was able to discredit the police officers,
01:31:12.380
attack the evidence from said discredited police officers,
01:31:36.660
If that OJ case happened in today's day and age,
01:31:51.180
Like cell phones and everything else like that.
01:32:12.740
the more they're able to accurately show where you are.
01:32:17.540
As far as like you trying to be trying to say where you're,
01:32:30.600
They can establish he was in the area and it was with very fair certainty,
01:32:35.600
They were able to establish three minutes before he went to the hospital.
01:33:05.080
So basically what they're going after him for is like,
01:33:10.340
And it's not the piracy that's going to get him guys.
01:33:25.160
Like if you bring a piracy case to the prosecutors,
01:33:35.340
like million dollars plus for them to take a piracy case.
01:33:42.020
It's got to be a very sexy case for them to take a piracy case.
01:33:45.040
So the fact that the feds took a piracy case already had me like,
01:33:58.180
that are the premier agency when it comes to piracy,
01:34:06.360
So the reason why they're going after him though,
01:34:10.360
for piracy is because they really want to go after him for,
01:34:18.520
So money laundering occurs when you basically get money from an illicit
01:34:28.000
And what they're going to do is the only reason they're using piracy is
01:34:31.540
So they're going to use piracy as their prerequisite crime to prove the
01:34:37.120
So all his money was ill gained in the eyes of the government and they want
01:34:45.180
Cause I know he was like doing something with fire sticks and I know I'll
01:34:49.320
but I know that overall is basically going after him for a piracy with fire
01:34:54.800
And they're going to go after him for the money laundering from the fire
01:34:59.160
That's where the feds are going to try to get them.
01:35:02.020
It's the money laundering they want so that they can seize assets,
01:35:10.540
So if his defense attorney can protect them from the piracy charge,
01:35:22.220
You need something called the SUA specified on lawful activity,
01:35:30.900
they need to establish a prerequisite crime to prove the money laundering.
01:35:40.020
the piracy charge they're coming at him with is,
01:35:52.040
do you know that confession song video was actually Mellie singing a Kevin,
01:36:08.900
But when you put it with other pieces of circumstantial evidence,
01:36:11.820
it snowballs and becomes more and more powerful.
01:36:27.020
the judge approved them to get his measurements.
01:36:30.160
put someone with his size and body weight in a vehicle,
01:36:34.360
And they're going to impersonate it in the courtroom for the judge,
01:36:37.100
for the jury to see that there was no other way that those two,
01:36:43.440
Other than the fact that they were shot point blank range in a vehicle from the
01:36:47.000
not the outside compounding with the cell phone data and everything else.
01:36:56.900
it's very powerful and damning compared with all the other information.
01:37:05.860
If used with other pieces of circumstantial evidence.
01:37:28.160
have you ever been in any crazy shootouts when you were working with HSI?
01:37:30.620
but I did get very close a bunch of times and I'll,
01:37:33.540
I'll do some case breakdowns for you guys that I did.
01:37:48.080
I like breaking bad is one of my favorite shows and so is sons of anarchy.
01:37:52.520
Can a felon carry a gun in Texas asking for a friend?
01:38:03.060
but you were wrong about needing a permit to buy a gun in Texas,
01:38:06.020
I went back and double checked because you're saying you need a gun.
01:38:13.300
You do not need a permit to buy a gun in Texas.
01:38:36.060
was not necessarily involved in the drug trafficking organization,
01:38:40.180
but he was aware of his cousin's criminal activity.
01:38:45.680
Had done a search warrant at his house for some,
01:38:56.140
I broke down what task force officers are for you guys on the last episode.
01:39:04.160
We just found a gun in his house and he's a felon.
01:39:25.020
we start to build a case to go after him for felony possession.
01:39:41.320
So we bring the case of the prosecutor cause we wanted to arrest this guy
01:39:45.300
he was the cousin of a drug trafficker that we're looking at and we wanted to
01:39:48.680
So we wanted to put charges on him so that he would cooperate.
01:39:52.120
And I also break down the differences guys between cooperating witnesses,
01:39:54.700
confidential informants and sources of information on my other episode.
01:40:12.560
apparently after five years of a felony conviction,
01:40:30.400
He told me after five years of your felony conviction and being off probation in the state
01:40:36.780
you can still have a gun in your home for protection.
01:40:50.060
but you can probably keep it in your house if you have,
01:40:59.300
But I wouldn't be surprised because Texas has very,
01:41:04.420
But I know that basically Texas has very lax gun laws and you know,
01:41:08.180
So I wouldn't be surprised if it's five or seven years.
01:41:16.760
what's it like working with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and Canada
01:41:24.520
I did a really good case with them right before I resigned.
01:41:29.700
but I'll do a breakdown on that case that I did.
01:41:35.560
human smuggling case that like incorporated a lot of,
01:41:48.720
I might do it where I do like one case a week and then where I like,
01:41:51.620
I'll break down one famous case for y'all and then I'll do one like,
01:41:54.460
memory lane case story with like Myron or some shit like that.
01:41:57.020
Maybe I'll do two streams where I do that for you guys.
01:42:20.820
what protects from tech employees inspiring on our devices?
01:42:29.580
It takes a lot of probable cause to be able to like,
01:42:32.820
to be able to like tap someone's phone or whatever.
01:42:35.620
it takes more to tap someone's phone than to actually arrest them.
01:42:38.240
You need way more probable cause to listen to someone's phone.
01:42:48.220
I want to make that very clear that the criminal case world.
01:42:50.920
And then the classified now security world are two different things,
01:42:56.720
The stuff that comes from classified stuff is not discoverable.
01:42:59.960
and we ain't going to talk about classified stuff on this podcast,
01:43:04.740
I purposely stayed away from classified information.
01:43:08.820
Anyone that does criminal cases will tell you guys that classified
01:43:11.400
information is absolutely useless for a criminal case.
01:43:19.400
You're out here looking at reports and shit like that.
01:43:58.640
that's going to probably be more of like with the military and,
01:44:02.280
I need you guys to understand that like law enforcement and intelligence are two
01:44:18.420
Everything I shared with you guys is going to be public.
01:44:22.860
organize it for y'all and put it in a presentable fashion.
01:44:25.600
but everything I share with you guys is public.
01:44:28.840
That's where we deal with the classified stuff.
01:44:31.280
Intelligence agencies are not law enforcement agencies.
01:44:39.300
So intelligence and law enforcement are two different things.
01:44:46.680
but the FBI is like pretty much the main domestic intelligence agency.
01:44:58.420
You motivated me to go hard on my YouTube channels.
01:45:40.620
Have you ever considered reacting to random murder cases on YouTube?
01:45:47.320
NYC has some of the highest murder rates in the country,
01:45:50.940
but has also some of the strictest gun laws thoughts.
01:46:03.280
Whereas like places like Chicago and Illinois that have like,
01:46:29.180
which state Rico cases are not as strong as the feds.
01:46:54.680
once they come up with a verdict and everything,
01:47:01.980
can you review the boozy case and how we got it overturned?
01:47:13.940
but I don't foresee him getting a pardon on a murder case.
01:47:18.420
and the president would have to do it like he did for Kodak Black.
01:47:31.460
it's not really like technically violent crime.
01:47:45.320
Guys want to get a lot of these answered for y'all.
01:47:54.160
The Kyle Rittenhouse case is probably one of the most clear cut self-defense cases I've ever seen in my lifetime.
01:47:58.920
It's amazing to me that they even speculated that it wasn't self-defense.
01:48:07.280
Like they were out here pointing out a bunch of false information.
01:48:17.780
Who deserved in my opinion to lose his life anyway,
01:48:22.720
it was the most clear cut case of self-defense.
01:48:31.600
with a skateboard and trying to fuck his ass up.
01:48:39.400
do you know what will happen if you get hit with a skateboard across the head?
01:49:02.860
you absolutely cannot buy guns for your friends.
01:49:22.400
AKA Nipsey and that's and got a new court date,
01:49:43.380
So we're going to get wrapping up here in a second.
01:49:48.700
I want you guys to tell me what case you want me to break down next.
01:49:51.840
The case that gets the most likes I'm going to do next week for y'all.
01:49:59.220
I'm waiting on the last piece of them because I don't want to jump the gun.
01:50:04.480
I have a lot of the facts with me and I got the court paperwork,
01:50:11.980
and see his court date hearing and then go from there.
01:50:26.800
I just need a couple more pieces of information.
01:50:39.140
And then I'm going to also look at the comments.
01:51:29.240
The reason why big meats didn't get a pardon guys is because he was,
01:51:32.140
he was a top guy in the drug trafficking organization.
01:51:34.120
That's why they built a really strong case against him.
01:52:04.680
If you guys enjoyed this and you want to see more thorough breakdowns like
01:52:07.700
where I actually read the court documents with you guys.
01:52:11.740
maybe I might bore them or put them to sleep or whatever,
01:52:13.440
but I wanted to really go through it and give you guys the
