Summary

A woman drives into a wooded area with a knife in her hand, only to find a gun under the seat to fight off her kidnapper. What would you do if you found yourself in a similar situation? Would you be brave enough to pull the trigger? Or would you be a coward?

00:00:00.000 The Blaze Radio Network, on demand.
00:00:09.840 Love. Courage. Truth. Glenn Beck.
00:00:15.080 A woman driving through a rural area that she was unfamiliar with.
00:00:21.020 She was alone. She didn't know where she was.
00:00:24.460 She had never been to this part of town.
00:00:26.260 She was sure of her destination. Her destination had just been changed for her.
00:00:34.660 Her destination was death.
00:00:37.480 She could feel her kidnapper's knife dig deeper into her arm as she desperately tried to grip the steering wheel.
00:00:45.520 He was an unwelcome passenger who had just forced his way into her car.
00:00:51.380 Every time she looked at him, she'd look at him in the eye, and she could tell that he was hell-bent on causing her pain.
00:01:02.380 She was terrified.
00:01:04.300 But at the same time, there was no place she'd rather be at this moment than driving her own vehicle, because she knew her salvation was there, hidden under the seat.
00:01:19.220 She reached her destination.
00:01:26.220 It was a wooded area.
00:01:28.740 Kidnapper told her to stop the car.
00:01:32.280 She did. She stepped on the brakes quickly.
00:01:34.700 In one fell swoop, she turned off the ignition and reached for the gun underneath her seat.
00:01:39.680 She thrust the barrel of the gun into his face.
00:01:42.580 That's when the look in his eyes changed.
00:01:46.860 He realized that he had brought a knife to a gunfight.
00:01:51.300 He immediately fled into the forest.
00:01:57.640 The woman thanked God that she had a gun and a concealed carry permit before driving herself to the hospital.
00:02:05.980 61-year-old Floyd R. May was arrested shortly after and charged with aggravated kidnapping and assault.
00:02:15.760 If the woman hadn't have taken the time to purchase and understand her firearm, she would likely be dead.
00:02:24.780 But because she was going to be the first responder, she knew that there were times when you couldn't wait for the police.
00:02:35.980 She had become a responsible gun owner and saved her own life.
00:02:41.440 This is the story that should be told every day.
00:02:47.240 This is the story when we are talking about women who are being assaulted and they have no choice but to be assaulted.
00:02:56.940 This is the story of the Second Amendment, that you have the right to protect yourself.
00:03:07.580 There are bad people out there who will think nothing of taking your life.
00:03:12.980 By the way, this story comes to us from Fox 5 in San Diego.
00:03:26.920 How many people in California will watch that story that unfolded
00:03:31.780 and believe that everyone there in California has a right to have the chance to defend themselves?
00:03:52.520 Tuesday, October 17th.
00:03:54.840 You're listening to the Glenn Beck Program.
00:03:56.820 This hour, we are going to share with you some stories of real bravery and cowardice.
00:04:04.620 Dana Lash is going to be joining us in about 25 minutes.
00:04:08.220 She's actually had to move out of her house and move her family to an undisclosed location
00:04:14.120 because she is an outspoken proponent of the Second Amendment.
00:04:19.880 And she is receiving death threats and her family has been targeted.
00:04:24.560 We'll talk to her in about 25 minutes.
00:04:29.220 So I can't decide whether this is cowardice or courage.
00:04:35.420 But up on Facebook yesterday, the guy who wrote Con Air and Gone in 60 Seconds,
00:04:43.800 a new movie is coming out, Beautiful Girls.
00:04:46.300 His name is Scott Rosenberg.
00:04:47.980 And on his Facebook page, and I'm going to delete some of the language,
00:04:53.140 but he wrote one of the most powerful posts I think I've ever read.
00:04:59.880 He said,
00:05:01.000 So, uh, yeah, we need to talk about Harvey.
00:05:05.720 I was there for a big part of it.
00:05:08.120 From what, 1994 to the early 2000s?
00:05:10.700 Something like that.
00:05:11.660 Certainly the Golden Age.
00:05:13.240 The Pulp Fiction.
00:05:14.180 Shakespeare in Love.
00:05:15.120 Clerks.
00:05:15.620 Swingers.
00:05:16.440 Scream.
00:05:17.020 Goodwill hunting.
00:05:17.860 English patient.
00:05:19.240 Life is beautiful.
00:05:20.380 You know, those years.
00:05:22.780 Harvey and Bob made my first two movies, and they signed me to an overall deal.
00:05:27.400 Then they bought that horror script of mine about the 10 plagues for a lot of money.
00:05:32.380 They also bought that werewolf biker script, the one that nobody else liked, but was my personal favorite.
00:05:37.640 And they were going to publish my novel.
00:05:39.140 They anointed me.
00:05:40.540 They made it so other studios thought I was the real deal.
00:05:43.600 They gave me my career.
00:05:45.160 I was barely 30.
00:05:46.240 I was sure I had struck gold.
00:05:49.860 They loved me, these two brothers, who had reinvented the cinema and who were fun and tough and didn't give an East Coast F about all the slick ones out in L.A.
00:06:03.140 The glory days in Tribeca, the old cramped offices, the wonderful gang of executives and assistants, and the filmmakers who were doing repeat business, the brothers wanted to create a family of film, and they did just that.
00:06:16.040 We looked forward to having our meetings there, meetings that would turn into plans, that would turn into raucous nights out on the town.
00:06:23.160 Simply put, OG Miramax was a blast.
00:06:27.060 So, yeah, I was there.
00:06:28.200 And let me tell you one thing, and let's be perfectly clear about one thing.
00:06:34.020 Everyone effing knew.
00:06:37.680 Not that he was raping.
00:06:39.620 No, that we never heard.
00:06:41.860 But we were certainly aware of a certain pattern of overly aggressive behavior that was rather dreadful.
00:06:47.980 We knew about the man's hunger, his fervor, his appetite.
00:06:51.700 There was nothing secret about his voracious rapacity.
00:06:54.860 Like a gluttonous ogre out of the Brothers Grimm.
00:06:59.800 All couched in vague promises of potential movie roles.
00:07:03.960 And it should be noted that there were many who actually succumbed to his bulky charms, willingly, which surely must have only impelled him to cast his fetid net even wider.
00:07:14.500 But like I said, everyone effing knew.
00:07:18.060 And to me, if Harvey's behavior was the most reprehensible thing that one could imagine, a not so distant second is the current flood of sanctimonious denial and condemnation that now crashes upon those shores in gloppy tides of BS righteousness.
00:07:37.720 Because everyone effing knew.
00:07:40.460 And do you know how I know this is true?
00:07:45.440 Because I was there.
00:07:47.380 I saw you.
00:07:50.320 I talked with you about it.
00:07:53.240 You, the big producers.
00:07:55.020 You, the big directors.
00:07:56.280 You, the big agents.
00:07:57.460 You, the big financiers.
00:07:59.620 You, the big rival studio chiefs.
00:08:01.800 You, the big actors.
00:08:02.980 The big actresses.
00:08:04.000 You, the big models.
00:08:05.800 You, the big journalists.
00:08:07.720 You, the big screenwriters.
00:08:09.200 You, the big rock stars.
00:08:11.420 The big restauranteers.
00:08:12.980 And you, the big politicians.
00:08:16.740 I saw you.
00:08:18.580 All of you.
00:08:20.100 God help me.
00:08:21.080 I was there with you.
00:08:25.480 Again, maybe we didn't know to what degree the magnitude of the awfulness.
00:08:30.420 Not the rapes.
00:08:31.840 Not the shoving against the wall.
00:08:34.320 Not the potted plant.
00:08:36.240 But we knew something.
00:08:37.740 We knew something was bubbling under.
00:08:40.760 Something odious.
00:08:41.520 Something rotten.
00:08:43.360 But.
00:08:44.540 And this is as pathetic as it is true.
00:08:48.480 What would you have us do?
00:08:51.440 Who are we to tell?
00:08:53.460 The authorities?
00:08:54.400 What authorities?
00:08:55.140 The press?
00:08:55.840 Harvey owned the press.
00:08:57.020 The internet?
00:08:57.580 There was no internet or reasonable facsimile thereof.
00:09:00.820 So we should have called the police.
00:09:02.720 And said what?
00:09:04.600 Should we have reached out to some fantasy attorney general of movie land?
00:09:09.040 Because that doesn't exist.
00:09:10.740 Not to mention, most of the victims chose not to speak out.
00:09:14.600 Aside from sharing the grimy details with a close girlfriend or confidant.
00:09:19.260 And if they discussed it with their representatives, agents, managers, who themselves feared the wrath of the big man, the agents and managers would tell them to keep it to themselves.
00:09:31.320 Because who knew the repercussions?
00:09:36.820 That old saw, you'll never work in this town again, came crawling back to putrid life like a reanimated cadaver in the late night zombie flick.
00:09:45.580 But yes, everyone knew someone who had been on the receiving end of lewd advances of him.
00:09:52.860 Or knew someone who knew someone.
00:09:55.760 A few actress friends of mine told me stories of a ghastly hotel meeting, repugnant bathrobe shucking, of a loathsome massage request.
00:10:07.680 And though, although they were rattled, they sort of laughed at his arrogance.
00:10:13.400 How he actually believed that he could, the simple sight of his naked body, the doughy, carbungled flesh, was going to get them in the mood.
00:10:23.540 So I just believed it to be a grotesque display of power.
00:10:27.800 A dude misreading the room and making a lame, if vile pass.
00:10:33.060 It was all much easier to believe that.
00:10:37.040 It was much easier for all of us to believe that.
00:10:42.660 Because here's where the slither meets the slime.
00:10:48.100 Harvey was showing us the best of times.
00:10:51.020 He was making our movies.
00:10:53.560 He was throwing the biggest parties.
00:10:55.240 Taking us to the Golden Globes.
00:10:57.480 Introducing us to the most amazing people.
00:10:59.960 Meeting with Vice President Gore.
00:11:01.800 Clubbing with Quentin and Uma.
00:11:03.920 Drinks with Salman Rushdie and Ralph Fiennes.
00:11:07.260 Dinners with Mick Jagger and Warren freaking Beatty.
00:11:11.120 The most epic Oscar weekends.
00:11:13.360 They seem to last for weeks.
00:11:14.640 Sundance.
00:11:15.200 Cairns.
00:11:15.740 Toronto.
00:11:16.640 Telluride.
00:11:17.240 Berlin.
00:11:18.120 Venice.
00:11:18.880 Private Jets.
00:11:19.760 Stretch limousines.
00:11:22.580 Springsteen shows.
00:11:23.840 Hell, Harvey took me to St. Bart's for Christmas for 12 days.
00:11:27.660 I was a broke-ass kid from Boston who had never even heard of St. Bart's before he booked my travel.
00:11:32.560 Once he got me tickets to seven of the hottest Broadway shows in one week.
00:11:36.300 So I could take a new girlfriend on a dazzling tour of the theater.
00:11:40.200 He got me seats on the 40-yard line of the Super Bowl when the Patriots were playing the Packers in New Orleans.
00:11:45.260 He even got me a hotel room, which was impossible to get that weekend.
00:11:49.140 He gave and he gave and he gave and he gave.
00:11:53.540 He had a monarch's volcanic generosity when it came to those within his circle.
00:11:58.760 And a mafia dons fervent need for abject loyalty.
00:12:02.600 But never mind us.
00:12:06.060 What was he doing for the culture?
00:12:08.140 Making stunningly splendid films at a time when everyone else was cranking out, simpering Independence Day ripoffs.
00:12:15.100 It was glorious.
00:12:16.280 All of it.
00:12:16.940 So what if he was coming on a little strong to some of the young models who had moved mountains to get into one of his parties?
00:12:26.140 So what if he was exposing himself in a five-star hotel room like a cartoon flasher out of Mad Magazine?
00:12:32.780 Who are we to call foul?
00:12:34.960 Golden geese don't come along too often in one's life.
00:12:38.920 Which goes back to my original point.
00:12:41.460 Stop it.
00:12:42.960 Everyone effing knew.
00:12:44.440 But everybody was just having too good of a time and doing remarkable work, making remarkable movies.
00:12:53.360 As the old joke goes, we needed the eggs.
00:12:58.060 Okay, maybe we didn't need them, but we really, really, really, really liked them eggs.
00:13:05.180 And so we were willing to overlook what the golden goose was up to in the murky shadows behind the barn.
00:13:11.180 And for that, I'm eternally sorry.
00:13:14.440 To all of the women that had to suffer this, I'm eternally sorry.
00:13:18.760 I worked with Mira and Rosanna and Lysette.
00:13:21.900 I know Rose and Ashley and Claire.
00:13:23.820 I've known them for years.
00:13:24.840 Their courage only hangs a lantern on my shame.
00:13:28.020 And I'm eternally sorry for those who suffered in silence all this time and have chosen to remain silent today.
00:13:35.220 I mostly lost touch with the brothers by the early 2000s for no specific reason.
00:13:42.540 Just there were other jobs, other studios.
00:13:44.280 But a few months ago, Harvey called me out of the blue to talk about the bygone days,
00:13:49.380 to talk about how great it would be if we could get some of the gang back together to make a movie.
00:13:52.860 I think he must have known then that the noose was tightening.
00:13:58.140 There was a wistfulness to him that I'd never heard before, a melancholy.
00:14:04.440 It most assuredly had a walking-to-the-gallows feel.
00:14:08.960 When I hung up, I wondered,
00:14:10.120 What the heck was that all about?
00:14:13.220 In a few short weeks, I would know.
00:14:15.860 It was the condemned man simply wanting to comb some of the ruins of his old stomping grounds one last time.
00:14:23.520 So, yeah.
00:14:26.100 I'm sorry.
00:14:27.800 Sorry and ashamed.
00:14:29.900 Because, in the end, I was complicit.
00:14:33.100 I didn't say crap.
00:14:34.760 I didn't do crap.
00:14:37.140 Harvey was nothing but wonderful to me,
00:14:38.740 so I reaped the rewards and I kept my mouth shut.
00:14:42.860 And for that, once again, I'm sorry.
00:14:46.860 But you should be sorry, too,
00:14:49.360 with all these victims speaking up to tell their tales.
00:14:53.160 Shouldn't those who witnessed it from the sidelines do the same?
00:14:57.280 Instead of retreating to the cowardly,
00:15:00.140 canopy confines of faux outrage?
00:15:04.520 Doesn't being a bystander bring with it the responsibility
00:15:07.500 of telling the truth,
00:15:09.100 however personally disgraceful it might be?
00:15:11.880 You know who you are.
00:15:14.060 You know what you knew.
00:15:17.280 And do you know how I knew what you knew?
00:15:20.440 Because I was there with you.
00:15:23.140 I saw you.
00:15:24.660 And because everyone effing knew.
00:15:29.440 Tanya and I needed new blinds badly.
00:15:50.840 We were tired of looking at our windows through these.
00:15:54.760 We needed to redo our bedroom.
00:15:58.960 It was these hideous drapes that came with the house
00:16:02.040 and we just didn't take them down.
00:16:03.540 And it was like, oh my God.
00:16:05.420 And they were ugly.
00:16:06.640 And so we emailed blinds.com.
00:16:09.920 I went on blinds.com and we started looking
00:16:11.980 and I'm like, I don't know.
00:16:14.240 And so we emailed them and I thought,
00:16:15.980 okay, let's schedule a time maybe next week.
00:16:18.000 And they instantly emailed back.
00:16:20.760 You ready to do it now?
00:16:21.720 You want to do it now?
00:16:22.380 We did a FaceTime session that Saturday morning.
00:16:25.680 They took pictures of the house,
00:16:27.000 superimposed pictures of the drapes that we wanted.
00:16:30.220 And they completely transformed the room.
00:16:33.140 They gave us some of the best customer service
00:16:35.060 we have ever experienced.
00:16:36.540 I'm not kidding.
00:16:37.340 I'm a fan of the customer service of Apple.
00:16:39.720 It's why I have Apple.
00:16:41.800 Because of their customer service.
00:16:43.300 And the same with blinds.com.
00:16:44.880 They are remarkable.
00:16:46.300 And they'll remake your blinds for free
00:16:48.020 if you mismeasure or you pick the wrong color.
00:16:50.800 They'll even send you free samples
00:16:52.460 to make sure everything looks just as good
00:16:54.220 in person as it does online.
00:16:55.560 Every order gets free shipping.
00:16:57.640 Their prices are outrageous.
00:16:59.680 And right now they're even better.

00:17:02.920 you'll get huge site-wide savings

00:17:24.160 Rules and restrictions to apply.
00:17:28.380 Glenn Beck.
00:17:37.100 Glenn Beck.
00:17:39.640 It's strange because I have a lot of respect
00:17:41.820 for what he wrote because he said,
00:17:46.460 not only am I ashamed that I just took the money
00:17:48.760 and shut my mouth,
00:17:50.100 he said, you know,
00:17:53.700 I'm sickened now by this next violation,
00:17:58.940 and that is of the people who knew
00:18:00.920 and say they don't.
00:18:03.280 Is it the screenwriter who was talking about
00:18:04.860 his experience with the Weinstein company?
00:18:06.600 Yeah, who wrote.
00:18:07.560 That was one of the most powerful things I've ever read.
00:18:09.900 And he's a screenwriter.
00:18:10.540 He's a screenwriter.
00:18:11.460 It was beautifully written.
00:18:12.220 It was really well done.
00:18:13.380 Beautifully written.
00:18:14.140 It's interesting because we've heard this
00:18:16.260 from a lot of people inside Hollywood
00:18:18.820 about Weinstein in that a lot of people knew
00:18:21.200 he was cheating on his wife.
00:18:22.600 A lot of people knew he was a real dirtbag.
00:18:25.080 In many ways, in business,
00:18:26.640 he screamed at people.
00:18:27.820 He abused them verbally.
00:18:29.620 And everyone kind of knew about that stuff.
00:18:31.200 And people, you know,
00:18:32.240 kind of knew that he would put young 22-year-old models
00:18:36.980 in a position in which they kind of have to have a choice
00:18:41.420 between their career and a very unpleasant experience
00:18:46.380 with a large fat guy in a robe.
00:18:48.580 But again, that's different than, obviously,
00:18:50.800 the really high-end stuff.
00:18:51.780 We're talking about rape in some of these cases.
00:18:53.800 I wonder, however, if some of him being a jerk
00:18:57.380 in so many other ways shielded him.
00:19:00.320 Shielded him.
00:19:00.840 Because, so I talked to a friend of mine
00:19:02.320 in Hollywood yesterday.
00:19:03.380 And I said, come on, dude.
00:19:05.680 Come on.
00:19:06.460 You knew.
00:19:07.840 And he said, honestly, we didn't.
00:19:11.220 And I said, come on.
00:19:13.960 He said, Glenn, I'm telling you the truth.
00:19:16.980 We thought he was the biggest slimy dirtbag.
00:19:20.340 He said, we knew he was a serial cheater on his wife.
00:19:23.480 We knew that he would proposition everybody in anything.
00:19:27.200 He said, we even knew that he would be with hookers
00:19:29.700 and things like that.
00:19:30.360 He said, we all knew he was a guy.
00:19:32.280 You did not want to be around.
00:19:34.340 He said, but there's a difference between consensual
00:19:37.860 and not consensual.
00:19:40.320 He said, we knew that he was a dirtbag.
00:19:43.800 He said, but everything that we would ever hear
00:19:46.240 either came out in a settlement and we would go,
00:19:49.260 okay, well, the court system is working this out.
00:19:51.900 They're working this out.
00:19:53.280 Or we would hear it third-hand.
00:19:55.380 He said, so what are we supposed to do?
00:19:58.480 Right.
00:19:58.880 You don't tweet, hey, I've heard third-hand
00:20:01.220 that this is happening?
00:20:02.220 That this multimillionaire is a rapist?
00:20:04.480 Right.
00:20:04.700 You can't do that.
00:20:06.380 And by the way, you shouldn't do that, right?
00:20:07.700 I mean, you don't just tweet accusations
00:20:10.160 against some guy you heard third-hand.
00:20:12.240 I think the other part of that, too,
00:20:13.260 is that because he was such a bad guy,
00:20:15.100 he had so many enemies, it was probably more believable
00:20:18.120 that the worst of it wasn't true.
00:20:19.580 Sure.
00:20:19.700 That he had these enemies that would accuse him
00:20:21.200 of things that were false,
00:20:22.180 and that probably added to it as well.
00:20:27.320 Glenn Beck.
00:20:37.620 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:20:39.400 So, Dana Lash, who is just one of the most remarkable
00:20:47.820 conservatives that I know,
00:20:51.080 a strong and fierce woman
00:20:54.740 who does everything she does because she's a mom.
00:20:59.060 And, you know, after the World Trade Center came down
00:21:04.420 and things started getting crazy,
00:21:05.900 she was a mom.
00:21:07.840 And she decided to start speaking out.
00:21:10.080 And next thing you know, she's on the radio,
00:21:12.440 and now she's syndicated.
00:21:14.040 She's got her own TV show here at The Blaze.
00:21:17.660 And she's also a spokesperson for the NRA,
00:21:20.140 which has caused her real problems in the last year.
00:21:25.240 So much so that Dana tweeted over the weekend
00:21:28.720 that she was moving
00:21:31.420 and had to move to a new house,
00:21:34.840 undisclosed location,
00:21:36.040 because people on the left
00:21:39.680 had found out where she was living
00:21:41.700 and began to threaten her and her family.
00:21:44.540 Welcome to the program, Dana.
00:21:46.440 Hey, Glenn.
00:21:47.120 Good to be with you.
00:21:48.700 First of all, you safe?
00:21:51.780 Yeah, I am.
00:21:52.840 I'm good.
00:21:53.460 I mean, I'm safe wherever I am.
00:21:55.120 I wouldn't mess with you, ever.
00:22:00.380 I just would not mess with you.
00:22:04.020 It's crazy.
00:22:05.060 I mean, it's crazy that it's to this point.
00:22:07.540 It's crazy that, you know, in the past year,
00:22:09.940 just by being vocal on a particular issue,
00:22:13.160 and understandably so,
00:22:15.160 that it has gotten to this point.
00:22:17.320 And I tweeted, you mentioned the tweet,
00:22:18.820 where I just posted,
00:22:20.360 I took it because I just thought this was so crazy.
00:22:23.660 And I, you know, I love where I live.
00:22:25.660 And I am staying in Texas,
00:22:28.380 and I love where I live.
00:22:30.040 And nobody wants to move right
00:22:31.820 as the holiday season is gearing up.
00:22:34.060 I had thought to do this a little bit more planned out.
00:22:36.620 But, you know, when you have people
00:22:38.320 that send you emails that say things like,
00:22:40.960 well, I'm going to make it to where you feel
00:22:42.620 like the parents of Newtown,
00:22:44.000 and where you get all this crazy stuff,
00:22:46.040 and they can't just keep it to you,
00:22:48.380 and they can't just keep it to ideas.
00:22:50.200 They have to start bringing in
00:22:51.900 innocence and very young, soft targets in.
00:22:55.160 That's when, you know, I'm fine to stay where I am.
00:22:57.920 But when you're, you know,
00:22:59.380 your kids are too afraid to ride their bike
00:23:01.740 outside in front of the house,
00:23:03.560 up and down the street,
00:23:04.340 which is one of the reasons why I loved
00:23:05.920 where we moved,
00:23:06.880 because when I left downtown St. Louis,
00:23:08.740 my kids couldn't do that.
00:23:10.080 And that was obviously a clear sign,
00:23:12.220 time to leave.
00:23:12.780 And come here to, you know,
00:23:15.280 what I think is the safest
00:23:16.420 and one of the best places in the country.
00:23:18.600 And I had people driving by my house,
00:23:21.680 taking pictures of my home, Glenn,
00:23:23.540 not just like Google Maps stuff.
00:23:25.280 I mean, like actual photos of my home
00:23:26.780 and putting it online,
00:23:28.760 putting my address online,
00:23:30.660 putting my private cell phone number,
00:23:32.220 which I know anybody can find anything about anybody,
00:23:34.780 but they put that online.
00:23:36.140 They started calling my cell phone number.
00:23:37.940 At one time, they called it
00:23:39.340 when the cops were at my house
00:23:40.600 a little after midnight one evening.
00:23:42.240 But it was when they really started,
00:23:44.820 I guess because I wasn't,
00:23:46.380 they couldn't get me by going after me.
00:23:48.800 So they decided to target my kids,
00:23:50.640 which is always the most dangerous place
00:23:52.960 in the world for anybody to be,
00:23:55.020 is between a mother and her kids.
00:23:56.500 And especially so for me,
00:23:58.720 I guess that they thought
00:23:59.940 they were going to send a message.
00:24:01.000 So I'm just going to get louder,
00:24:02.540 but I'm going to do it
00:24:03.260 from an undisclosed location.
00:24:04.880 Dana, what was the conversation
00:24:14.580 with your kids like?
00:24:20.400 We have had it before.
00:24:22.880 The first big conversation that we had
00:24:25.860 was after my oldest son,
00:24:27.360 who's on the internet in a limited way.
00:24:29.360 Like he's not allowed on Twitter.
00:24:30.880 He's not allowed on Facebook.
00:24:31.880 He's not allowed on Snapchat.
00:24:35.260 And I always go through everything
00:24:37.360 because it's not a democracy.
00:24:38.780 It's a momocracy in the house.
00:24:40.840 And one of his friends,
00:24:43.340 the day that I was actually
00:24:44.740 doing my program at The Blaze,
00:24:47.220 my TV program at The Blaze,
00:24:48.380 and this was the day that that video came out
00:24:50.100 where this guy had made this death fetish video
00:24:53.060 where I killed myself.
00:24:53.960 And before I even got home,
00:24:56.500 after doing my show at The Blaze,
00:24:59.380 my son's best friend had already sent him
00:25:02.240 a link to the video saying,
00:25:03.460 did you see this?
00:25:04.140 This is your mom.
00:25:05.540 And that's how my oldest son found out.
00:25:07.900 So when I got home,
00:25:09.100 we had to have this,
00:25:10.340 you know,
00:25:10.520 it's not like I sit down every night
00:25:11.820 with my kids over the dinner table
00:25:13.020 and we have Ronald Reagan school.
00:25:14.540 You know what I mean?
00:25:14.940 They're able to go and live their own lives
00:25:17.420 and do their own thing.
00:25:18.900 And I, you know,
00:25:19.920 obviously we have a certain set of ideals
00:25:22.100 that they must live by,
00:25:23.260 but we don't pummel them with politics.
00:25:26.100 And so we had to have that conversation
00:25:27.540 over the dinner table that night.
00:25:28.880 And that was really one of the first
00:25:30.220 big conversations that we had.
00:25:32.640 Then when we had local police here,
00:25:36.660 and when this one individual
00:25:38.580 found my cell phone number
00:25:39.540 and called it while the police were here,
00:25:40.920 we had to have another conversation.
00:25:42.980 And then after there were repeated emails
00:25:46.180 about The Blaze,
00:25:47.460 that's when we had a big,
00:25:49.000 another, yet another conversation
00:25:50.520 because we had to have law enforcement
00:25:51.960 also go to their school
00:25:52.920 and make sure that their school security
00:25:55.140 was safe, which it was.
00:25:56.300 And our school's amazing.
00:25:57.400 I wish I could just go there myself
00:25:59.120 and work with the school administrators
00:26:03.200 and make sure that they had
00:26:04.380 a good security plan
00:26:05.580 and they worked with us
00:26:06.700 and they were just awesome.
00:26:07.660 We had a private security firm as well.
00:26:10.000 And so now they're aware,
00:26:12.360 but we don't want to scare them.
00:26:13.600 They're just aware.
00:26:14.820 We want to make them situationally aware,
00:26:16.960 but not freaked out or paranoid
00:26:18.100 because it's no way to live your life.
00:26:19.460 But my youngest still is like,
00:26:21.920 yeah, I don't want to have anything to do
00:26:23.240 with going outside in front of the house.
00:26:24.700 I don't want to ride my bike
00:26:25.740 in front of the house.
00:26:26.400 I don't want to do,
00:26:27.180 I don't want to do any of this stuff.
00:26:29.080 And I just, that just,
00:26:30.480 that's what I can't handle.
00:26:32.420 So I thought, okay, well, let's just,
00:26:34.400 we're going to, we're going to need to go.
00:26:35.800 We're going to need to go.
00:26:36.500 If you don't feel safe in your own home,
00:26:37.680 we got to leave.
00:26:39.340 Dana, do you find it odd
00:26:40.960 that here we are talking about,
00:26:42.820 you know, people like Harvey Weinstein
00:26:44.680 and how, you know,
00:26:46.480 these powerful men are abusing women
00:26:48.980 by the thousands and thousands
00:26:50.620 and people are tweeting about it
00:26:51.820 and telling all their stories.
00:26:53.080 And at the same time,
00:26:54.580 these same people are asking
00:26:56.580 for the second amendment
00:26:58.100 to essentially go away
00:26:59.620 so that women have no way
00:27:01.040 to defend themselves.
00:27:02.620 Yeah, Stu, I think that's a good point.
00:27:04.580 And I had that observation
00:27:06.460 just to, I guess,
00:27:07.900 right after the Weinstein thing broke
00:27:09.400 because he said he was going
00:27:10.660 to go after gun owners
00:27:11.480 and he was going to target the NRA.
00:27:12.740 And I thought, well, of course,
00:27:14.340 you're a serial predator.
00:27:15.660 Of course you want women disarmed.
00:27:17.100 That makes perfect sense
00:27:18.160 because rapists and pedophiles
00:27:20.780 and predators agree
00:27:21.820 they love soft targets.
00:27:23.420 They love them.
00:27:24.580 And so, yeah, I do find that weird
00:27:26.420 because that's one of the big reasons
00:27:28.520 that I advocate for what I advocate
00:27:30.400 because I want people to be safe.
00:27:32.300 I want men and women particularly
00:27:34.420 to be able to defend themselves
00:27:36.120 because as much as,
00:27:37.940 as empowered as a woman thinks she is
00:27:39.940 and as tough as a woman thinks she is
00:27:41.900 and as many Lara Croft movies
00:27:43.980 as she watches,
00:27:45.500 you are still going to be
00:27:47.040 statistically outweighed by a man.
00:27:49.220 You're still going to be overpowered
00:27:50.860 by a man's mere muscle mass
00:27:53.440 and more powerful bone density.
00:27:55.760 You're still going to be overpowered,
00:27:57.180 which is why I carry
00:27:58.280 because then I can overpower my attacker.
00:28:00.800 Did you have a moment
00:28:01.600 going through any of this, Dana,
00:28:03.060 that you're just,
00:28:03.760 you thought to yourself,
00:28:04.760 you know what?
00:28:05.880 Why am I doing this?
00:28:07.000 Why am I bothering?
00:28:07.680 Oh, no.
00:28:09.560 No.
00:28:10.040 Not even a second.
00:28:11.440 No, no, no.
00:28:13.100 I haven't,
00:28:13.900 and I don't know if that's weird or not,
00:28:15.400 but I haven't.
00:28:16.960 I just,
00:28:17.700 I believe so strongly
00:28:18.980 when I believe in it
00:28:19.660 and I believe that I'm on the right side
00:28:21.060 and I'm fighting for truth.
00:28:22.940 I'm not,
00:28:23.460 if I were,
00:28:24.640 if I were pushing propaganda,
00:28:27.140 if I were saying something
00:28:28.440 that I didn't feel
00:28:29.580 in my soul was true,
00:28:31.700 then yeah,
00:28:32.140 I can see how
00:28:32.920 I would not have a firm foundation
00:28:34.460 on which to stand
00:28:35.380 during difficult times.
00:28:37.560 But I don't feel that way.
00:28:39.540 I know that I'm on the right side.
00:28:41.680 I'm talking about
00:28:42.520 defending people's lives
00:28:43.780 and I can never,
00:28:45.060 it's a pro-life issue, really,
00:28:46.720 and I can never
00:28:47.680 and will never feel bad
00:28:49.640 about that, ever.
00:28:50.980 Just so long as I'm
00:28:52.000 on the right side,
00:28:52.960 it's good.
00:28:53.520 Have you had anybody
00:28:54.440 from the left
00:28:55.220 reach out to you
00:28:56.160 and all say
00:28:58.600 this is inexcusable?
00:29:01.300 I've had one reporter
00:29:02.900 at CNN
00:29:03.360 who reached out privately,
00:29:04.720 which I thought was nice.
00:29:06.320 Publicly,
00:29:06.900 there have been
00:29:07.500 a few progressive men
00:29:09.880 and progressive women
00:29:10.740 and I think
00:29:11.860 perhaps the biggest name
00:29:13.080 among those
00:29:13.580 was Chelsea Clinton,
00:29:14.740 which,
00:29:15.140 and she,
00:29:16.020 and I,
00:29:16.640 to her credit,
00:29:17.300 she did not,
00:29:19.360 and you know,
00:29:20.200 I wouldn't,
00:29:21.040 I wouldn't mince my words,
00:29:22.920 but to her credit,
00:29:23.800 she didn't,
00:29:24.200 she didn't predicate it
00:29:25.480 upon anything.
00:29:26.440 She just said,
00:29:27.260 this is awful,
00:29:27.880 period.
00:29:28.620 And it should be
00:29:29.380 because I've had other people
00:29:30.380 say,
00:29:30.740 well,
00:29:31.060 despite,
00:29:31.520 you know,
00:29:31.640 the politics,
00:29:32.300 I still think
00:29:32.800 that's irrelevant
00:29:33.480 because here's the thing,
00:29:35.740 we're all citizens first
00:29:37.480 and this is where
00:29:38.400 the identity politics
00:29:39.360 stuff has got to stop.
00:29:41.140 You know,
00:29:41.300 everybody,
00:29:42.040 we are Democrat
00:29:43.400 and Republican
00:29:44.100 and conservative
00:29:45.420 and progressive.
00:29:46.420 Everything else
00:29:47.140 comes after,
00:29:48.580 you know,
00:29:48.940 I list it as
00:29:49.860 your child of God,
00:29:50.680 then you're,
00:29:51.280 you know,
00:29:51.760 you're an American citizen
00:29:52.660 and then you can be
00:29:53.280 all your other stuff
00:29:53.960 that you want to be.
00:29:55.140 But you,
00:29:56.040 people don't have
00:29:56.680 their priorities right
00:29:57.500 in terms of identity
00:29:58.420 and that's what's
00:29:59.460 messing everything up.
00:30:01.040 Everybody wants to focus
00:30:02.220 on all of the places
00:30:03.200 in which they're different
00:30:03.980 and I did appreciate
00:30:04.860 that Chelsea Clinton
00:30:05.600 tweeted that
00:30:06.100 because she got right
00:30:06.940 to the point,
00:30:07.480 she didn't predicate it
00:30:08.340 upon anything,
00:30:09.600 it was just simply,
00:30:11.100 it was wrong
00:30:11.760 and that's what people
00:30:12.680 need to do.
00:30:13.780 Now,
00:30:14.160 I know that everyone says,
00:30:15.240 well,
00:30:15.400 it exists on the right
00:30:16.340 and the left,
00:30:16.940 this stuff,
00:30:17.720 and it does.
00:30:19.300 It absolutely does.
00:30:20.560 And we stand against it
00:30:21.860 when it happens
00:30:22.640 on the right.
00:30:24.260 That's absolutely right
00:30:25.600 and I,
00:30:26.360 you have done that
00:30:27.480 and I have done that
00:30:28.340 but here's the big difference
00:30:29.500 though,
00:30:29.860 there is a difference.
00:30:31.160 It is perceived,
00:30:32.680 it is perceived
00:30:33.600 and treated differently
00:30:35.660 on the public stage.
00:30:37.360 Yes.
00:30:37.800 When you have a progressive woman
00:30:39.400 and a conservative woman,
00:30:40.340 if they receive
00:30:41.000 the same foul treatment,
00:30:42.340 it is virtuous
00:30:43.100 for the progressive woman
00:30:44.260 and the conservative woman,
00:30:45.520 it doesn't exist.
00:30:47.060 And that's what I want to stop.
00:30:50.480 Dana Lash,
00:30:51.780 best of luck.
00:30:53.380 God bless you.
00:30:54.240 Thank you, Glenn.
00:30:54.800 And your family,
00:30:55.260 you bet.
00:30:55.460 Thank you, Glenn.
00:30:55.880 Bye-bye.
00:31:03.180 Find Dana on Twitter
00:31:04.040 at DLash
00:31:04.820 and as well as,
00:31:06.060 of course,
00:31:06.300 here on The Blaze
00:31:06.880 where she does a show
00:31:08.120 every night
00:31:09.080 and also,
00:31:11.580 she's,
00:31:11.960 of course,
00:31:12.440 one of the big spokespeople
00:31:13.420 at the National Rifle Association.
00:31:16.120 So,
00:31:16.700 join up there.
00:31:20.080 I,
00:31:20.280 I,
00:31:20.580 I,
00:31:20.780 I,
00:31:21.280 I have a ton to say
00:31:27.660 on this issue.
00:31:28.820 A ton to say.
00:31:31.660 I was,
00:31:32.500 um,
00:31:33.660 I was just driving
00:31:36.680 down my street,
00:31:37.620 um,
00:31:38.580 yesterday
00:31:38.960 and I thought,
00:31:41.560 we don't even really
00:31:43.560 know our neighbors.
00:31:45.200 We don't even know
00:31:46.320 our neighbors.
00:31:46.720 but there's a reason
00:31:49.760 I don't know my neighbors.
00:31:52.000 I live
00:31:52.920 in a
00:31:53.640 double-gated
00:31:54.860 community
00:31:56.680 and
00:31:59.000 I bought
00:32:00.560 that house
00:32:01.520 for
00:32:03.280 the double gates.
00:32:05.820 The gates
00:32:06.660 around the community
00:32:07.460 and the gates
00:32:08.200 around my house
00:32:09.640 and the,
00:32:10.520 you know,
00:32:11.360 nine-foot wall
00:32:14.520 around it
00:32:15.420 because
00:32:18.320 I remember
00:32:22.200 my children
00:32:23.400 being frightened.
00:32:26.440 I remember
00:32:27.620 my wife
00:32:29.880 calling me.
00:32:31.680 There is someone
00:32:32.700 again
00:32:33.820 taking pictures
00:32:34.880 of our house.
00:32:38.560 I remember people
00:32:40.080 having access
00:32:41.080 to our garbage
00:32:42.560 and going
00:32:43.640 through our
00:32:44.200 garbage.
00:32:49.020 I remember
00:32:50.140 my son
00:32:51.880 looking up
00:32:53.060 saying,
00:32:54.540 Dad,
00:32:57.180 do people
00:32:59.500 want to kill you?
00:33:02.960 I remember
00:33:04.000 my daughter
00:33:04.740 saying,
00:33:08.200 I don't want
00:33:08.560 to go with
00:33:08.980 Daddy.
00:33:10.280 I'm afraid.
00:33:11.520 I want to
00:33:11.940 stay here.
00:33:12.560 I remember
00:33:15.500 the first time
00:33:16.300 my older
00:33:17.560 children
00:33:18.060 walked into
00:33:20.480 a room
00:33:21.120 and I was
00:33:22.360 getting dressed
00:33:23.080 for an event
00:33:23.800 and I was
00:33:24.860 putting on
00:33:25.260 a bulletproof
00:33:25.900 vest
00:33:26.440 and I remember
00:33:27.880 the look
00:33:29.080 in their eyes.
00:33:34.940 For what?
00:33:39.780 Because we
00:33:40.520 disagree with
00:33:41.160 each other?
00:33:41.580 this is
00:33:53.240 this is
00:33:54.140 the world
00:33:55.240 has gone
00:33:55.580 insane
00:33:56.140 and it's
00:33:56.620 not just
00:33:57.040 people like
00:33:58.160 me or
00:33:59.060 Dana.
00:34:01.400 The world
00:34:02.140 has gone
00:34:02.500 insane
00:34:03.160 and we're
00:34:04.340 not seeing
00:34:04.900 each other
00:34:05.420 anymore.
00:34:05.840 and to
00:34:14.100 think that
00:34:14.700 I wouldn't
00:34:17.220 have the
00:34:17.660 right to
00:34:18.340 protect
00:34:18.800 myself,
00:34:19.380 that I
00:34:19.760 wouldn't
00:34:20.040 have the
00:34:21.040 right to
00:34:21.640 own a
00:34:22.240 gun.
00:34:27.560 No.
00:34:28.160 No, I
00:34:30.360 don't think
00:34:30.760 so.
00:34:34.300 I'm lucky
00:34:35.000 enough to
00:34:35.400 be able to
00:34:36.320 afford the
00:34:38.020 crippling
00:34:38.860 cost of
00:34:40.940 security
00:34:41.580 and it is
00:34:42.820 crippling.
00:34:50.200 Dana doesn't
00:34:51.100 have that.
00:34:51.720 24-hour
00:34:54.180 security?
00:34:56.980 She has
00:34:57.980 to be
00:34:58.360 secure.
00:35:00.020 You know,
00:35:00.680 towards the
00:35:02.200 end,
00:35:02.960 towards the
00:35:05.060 end of
00:35:05.340 his life,
00:35:07.960 this preacher
00:35:11.120 went and he
00:35:12.020 begged to
00:35:14.340 be able to
00:35:14.880 get a
00:35:15.160 concealed carry
00:35:15.840 permit.
00:35:16.200 It was
00:35:19.500 his right
00:35:19.920 to have
00:35:20.320 one.
00:35:22.420 But the
00:35:23.240 local sheriff
00:35:24.300 said,
00:35:24.820 no, for
00:35:25.240 your own
00:35:25.900 safety,
00:35:27.280 we'll
00:35:27.840 provide
00:35:28.240 safety and
00:35:29.000 you shouldn't
00:35:30.080 have one.
00:35:32.400 That's why
00:35:33.060 Martin Luther
00:35:33.600 King was
00:35:34.180 not allowed
00:35:34.740 to carry
00:35:35.200 a gun.
00:35:36.280 Even
00:35:36.800 though he
00:35:37.140 had a
00:35:37.540 right,
00:35:38.920 his local
00:35:39.580 sheriff
00:35:40.000 stopped
00:35:40.640 him.
00:35:44.320 We have
00:35:44.960 a right
00:35:45.260 to protect
00:35:45.660 ourselves.
00:35:46.200 And we
00:35:46.680 need to
00:35:47.160 stand up
00:35:47.580 for it.
00:35:51.720 The Fed
00:35:52.480 is at it
00:35:52.900 again.
00:35:53.360 The overall
00:35:54.020 sentiment is
00:35:54.960 leaning towards
00:35:55.840 another rate
00:35:56.580 hike.
00:35:57.500 The fact
00:35:58.260 is it may
00:35:58.780 come in
00:35:59.260 December as
00:36:00.300 investors now
00:36:00.980 see roughly
00:36:01.480 an 80%
00:36:02.380 chance of
00:36:03.320 a hike.
00:36:04.620 So now
00:36:05.080 is the
00:36:05.380 time to
00:36:05.800 make your
00:36:06.200 move on
00:36:06.800 that new
00:36:07.240 home,
00:36:07.760 that purchase,
00:36:08.500 that mortgage
00:36:09.180 refi.
00:36:10.100 The rates
00:36:10.600 are still
00:36:11.280 low and
00:36:12.440 the people
00:36:12.940 that can
00:36:13.200 help you
00:36:13.500 do it

00:39:00.220 Afghanistan.
00:39:01.360 There's no back and
00:39:02.520 forth between the
00:39:03.240 lawyers.
00:39:03.800 No, you can't
00:39:04.560 handle the truth
00:39:05.340 type of courtroom
00:39:06.120 drama, just a
00:39:07.360 traitor facing the
00:39:09.020 music.
00:39:10.080 I left quoting my
00:39:11.900 fellow platoon
00:39:12.700 mates.
00:39:13.580 That's inexcusable,
00:39:15.580 end quote.
00:39:17.220 It's harsh, but
00:39:19.100 there's no sugar
00:39:19.760 coating what Bo
00:39:20.480 Bergdahl did.
00:39:21.580 He didn't serve
00:39:22.760 with honor and
00:39:23.700 distinction as
00:39:24.520 Susan Rice or
00:39:25.380 President Obama
00:39:26.040 wanted you to
00:39:26.900 believe.
00:39:27.860 He betrayed the
00:39:29.000 trust of his
00:39:29.580 brothers in arms,
00:39:30.740 and they died
00:39:31.880 because of it.
00:39:32.780 If I can give
00:39:35.020 him credit for
00:39:35.580 anything, it's
00:39:36.280 that he's owning
00:39:37.300 his actions and
00:39:38.500 accepting his own
00:39:39.660 guilt.
00:39:42.480 This is such a
00:39:43.580 tragedy on so many
00:39:44.460 levels, but the
00:39:47.680 focus today shouldn't
00:39:48.680 be on a disgraced
00:39:49.660 soldier or the
00:39:50.520 political maneuvering
00:39:51.660 of a past
00:39:52.180 administration.
00:39:52.800 They say the
00:39:56.980 greatest love is
00:39:57.720 to lay down
00:39:58.340 one's life for
00:39:59.100 another.
00:40:00.700 Well, six
00:40:01.860 soldiers did
00:40:03.360 that, just
00:40:04.700 trying to bring
00:40:05.620 him home.
00:40:09.160 Staff Sergeant
00:40:10.140 Clayton Bowen,
00:40:11.600 Private First
00:40:12.260 Class, Morris
00:40:13.440 Walker, died from
00:40:14.920 a roadside bomb
00:40:15.880 while searching for
00:40:16.680 Bo Bergdahl.
00:40:18.960 Staff Sergeant
00:40:19.920 Kurt Curtis of
00:40:21.040 Murray, Utah, died
00:40:22.040 from multiple
00:40:22.660 gunshot wounds.
00:40:24.980 Second Lieutenant
00:40:25.680 Darren Andrews of
00:40:26.960 Dallas, Texas, was
00:40:27.980 killed with an IED
00:40:29.180 and RPG exploded
00:40:30.640 nearby.
00:40:32.520 Staff Sergeant
00:40:33.420 Michael Murphy, I'm
00:40:34.920 sorry, Murphy of
00:40:36.980 Snyder, Texas, told
00:40:38.140 his family after being
00:40:40.480 taken skydiving on
00:40:41.840 his 17th birthday that
00:40:43.120 he had found his
00:40:43.960 calling.
00:40:44.680 He wanted to be an
00:40:45.360 Army paratrooper.
00:40:47.180 He died from an IED.
00:40:51.040 Private First
00:40:52.440 Class Matthew
00:40:53.240 Martinek was in a
00:40:55.220 vehicle searching for
00:40:56.160 Bo Bergdahl when his
00:40:57.320 patrol came under
00:40:58.280 fire.
00:40:59.440 After initially
00:40:59.960 surviving an IED
00:41:02.080 and RPG and
00:41:03.660 multiple gunshot
00:41:04.680 wounds, he died a
00:41:06.540 week later.
00:41:08.980 After eight years
00:41:11.240 and being paraded in
00:41:14.420 front of the cameras
00:41:15.280 by the president as a
00:41:16.640 hero, the truth is
00:41:19.260 finally here and Bo
00:41:20.500 Bergdahl himself
00:41:21.860 pleaded guilty and
00:41:24.060 he's receiving his
00:41:25.200 punishment.
00:41:27.920 Today, say a
00:41:29.520 prayer for him.
00:41:31.220 Say a prayer for his
00:41:32.060 family.
00:41:34.140 But please say a
00:41:35.520 prayer for those
00:41:36.020 dying, who died
00:41:37.360 trying to bring him
00:41:38.240 home.
00:41:40.880 Say a prayer for the
00:41:43.280 families of those
00:41:44.340 brave men who are
00:41:46.800 trying to move on.
00:41:49.260 But most of all
00:41:51.660 today, let's honor
00:41:54.020 the fallen.
00:42:05.260 Tuesday, October
00:42:06.880 17th.
00:42:07.760 You're listening to
00:42:08.660 the Glenn Beck
00:42:09.340 program.
00:42:10.720 The Heritage
00:42:11.220 Foundation had a
00:42:13.160 talk that they had
00:42:16.040 a pediatrician there.
00:42:17.040 in fact, the
00:42:18.240 president of the
00:42:19.120 American College of
00:42:20.020 Pediatricians, who
00:42:21.940 has received a lot of
00:42:23.660 heat because she said
00:42:25.760 this about
00:42:26.620 transgenderism.
00:42:28.800 As to the studies,
00:42:30.100 there are two that I am
00:42:30.920 aware of which claim
00:42:32.180 that affirming your
00:42:35.300 child's gender
00:42:36.540 confusion is good for
00:42:37.800 them.
00:42:38.680 Number one, it
00:42:40.060 assumes that coaching
00:42:42.300 a child into a fixed
00:42:44.360 false belief is
00:42:46.700 mentally healthy.
00:42:48.700 Science doesn't allow
00:42:49.940 you to assume your
00:42:51.800 conclusion.
00:42:53.040 Number two, those
00:42:54.360 studies are extremely
00:42:55.300 small.
00:42:56.180 Number three, those
00:42:57.400 studies are very
00:42:58.340 short-term.
00:43:00.100 And number four, the
00:43:01.620 control group of
00:43:03.180 mentally healthy
00:43:04.760 children are the
00:43:07.180 siblings.
00:43:08.560 Most of them were
00:43:09.260 siblings of the
00:43:10.600 trans-identifying
00:43:11.380 child.
00:43:11.760 Oh, and there's a
00:43:12.360 number five, the
00:43:13.620 parents were the
00:43:14.880 ones evaluating the
00:43:16.600 mental health of the
00:43:17.440 children.
00:43:18.540 This is not science.
00:43:21.760 I don't think you
00:43:22.820 need to have an MD or
00:43:24.140 a PhD to know that's
00:43:26.660 not science.
00:43:27.320 That's ideology
00:43:28.040 masquerading as
00:43:29.240 science.
00:43:30.700 Chemical castration,
00:43:32.220 which is what you are
00:43:33.500 doing when you put any
00:43:35.260 biologically normal
00:43:36.420 child on puberty
00:43:37.980 blockers.
00:43:38.660 She went on and had
00:43:43.380 a lot to say, and
00:43:44.820 she joins us now,
00:43:46.300 Dr. Michelle
00:43:47.260 Critella.
00:43:48.980 Doctor, how are
00:43:49.880 you?
00:43:50.960 Fine, thank you.
00:43:52.140 I'm happy to be
00:43:52.960 here.
00:43:54.020 So, you had to
00:43:56.460 have quite a
00:43:59.240 weekend.
00:43:59.580 I've been at
00:44:04.800 this fighting
00:44:06.120 for the
00:44:08.460 truth on
00:44:10.120 behalf of all
00:44:11.500 children, not
00:44:12.420 only the gender
00:44:14.500 confused children
00:44:15.480 who are being
00:44:17.300 put on toxic
00:44:18.480 medications, but
00:44:19.660 also for all of
00:44:20.980 our children in
00:44:23.000 public and private
00:44:24.220 schools who are
00:44:25.180 now being taught
00:44:26.220 that from
00:44:27.180 preschool forward,
00:44:28.060 they are being
00:44:29.060 taught that you
00:44:30.080 could be trapped
00:44:30.680 in the wrong
00:44:31.100 body.
00:44:31.780 This is outrageous.
00:44:33.480 It is outrageous.
00:44:34.460 It is terrifying
00:44:35.120 for these young
00:44:35.980 children.
00:44:36.440 It's a lie.
00:44:38.520 So, tell me
00:44:40.040 what your thought
00:44:42.540 is on those
00:44:44.120 people who feel
00:44:45.220 that they are
00:44:45.740 trapped in the
00:44:47.040 wrong body.
00:44:49.920 Well, it's a
00:44:52.280 grave injustice
00:44:52.980 to them.
00:44:53.680 I mean, let's
00:44:54.540 even back up.
00:44:55.600 look, when
00:44:57.420 we're talking
00:44:57.920 about mental
00:44:58.600 health, we
00:45:00.700 should all
00:45:01.240 agree that,
00:45:03.220 A, there is
00:45:03.980 an objective
00:45:04.640 physical reality
00:45:06.000 that we live
00:45:06.680 in.
00:45:07.080 Okay, that's
00:45:07.480 what science
00:45:08.040 is all about.
00:45:09.220 Science is
00:45:10.160 about the
00:45:11.040 physical reality
00:45:11.840 we live in.
00:45:13.100 And to be
00:45:14.660 mentally healthy,
00:45:16.240 at a bare
00:45:17.160 minimum, your
00:45:18.420 thinking and
00:45:20.060 perceptions should
00:45:21.340 be in line with
00:45:22.520 that physical
00:45:23.120 reality.
00:45:23.680 and here,
00:45:28.180 it's
00:45:29.240 transgenderism
00:45:30.280 alone that
00:45:31.860 psychology and
00:45:33.300 medicine say
00:45:34.080 you can have
00:45:35.640 a fixed
00:45:36.960 false belief.
00:45:37.980 You can
00:45:38.280 believe something
00:45:39.280 that's contrary
00:45:40.140 to genetics,
00:45:43.740 physiology.
00:45:44.680 You can believe
00:45:45.300 something that's
00:45:45.800 contrary to hard
00:45:46.560 science and
00:45:47.900 still be
00:45:48.820 mentally well.
00:45:51.600 I mean,
00:45:51.820 that's insanity.
00:45:53.680 if I go to
00:45:54.460 my doctor and
00:45:55.840 say, hi, I'm
00:45:57.900 Margaret Thatcher
00:45:58.720 and you hold a
00:45:59.900 gun to my head
00:46:00.760 and I still
00:46:01.560 insist that I
00:46:02.680 am Margaret
00:46:03.140 Thatcher, well,
00:46:04.920 I'm crazy, I'm
00:46:05.900 delusional, and
00:46:07.240 my doctor will
00:46:07.820 recognize that and
00:46:08.880 put me on an
00:46:09.880 antipsychotic.
00:46:10.960 But if I go in
00:46:11.960 and say, I'm a
00:46:13.500 man and I
00:46:14.720 insist it
00:46:15.480 persistently,
00:46:16.860 insistently,
00:46:17.700 persist consistently,
00:46:19.960 okay, yeah,
00:46:20.740 congratulations,
00:46:21.480 you're transgender,
00:46:22.000 transgender, this
00:46:22.820 is who you
00:46:23.240 are.
00:46:26.660 It's
00:46:27.140 cooperating, and
00:46:28.360 my colleague and
00:46:29.940 friend, Dr. Paul
00:46:31.040 McHugh, said it
00:46:32.100 best.
00:46:32.540 He said it's
00:46:33.120 cooperating with
00:46:34.300 mental illness.
00:46:35.740 And in the case
00:46:36.440 of children, I
00:46:38.500 refer to it as
00:46:39.240 coaching them into
00:46:40.300 a mental illness.
00:46:41.480 As far as I'm
00:46:42.140 concerned, when
00:46:42.920 children say, I'm
00:46:45.940 not my biological
00:46:46.780 sex, or a little
00:46:48.080 boy says, I want to
00:46:49.580 cut off my
00:46:50.140 penis, a young
00:46:51.680 woman says, I'm
00:46:52.840 binding my
00:46:53.500 breath, I want a
00:46:54.520 mastectomy, that's a
00:46:55.960 cry for help, not a
00:46:57.580 cry for hormones.
00:46:58.960 They're confused.
00:47:00.700 This is a symptom.
00:47:02.300 They are emotionally
00:47:03.800 troubled, and it's a
00:47:05.380 cry for help, not a
00:47:07.760 cry for hormones.
00:47:09.580 Michelle, I am of the
00:47:15.580 mindset that, you
00:47:17.380 know, she's what you
00:47:18.240 want to do with your
00:47:19.400 body.
00:47:19.980 I don't.
00:47:20.880 I don't.
00:47:21.360 I mean, people, you
00:47:23.920 know, do horrible
00:47:24.700 things to their body,
00:47:25.740 and I think that it's
00:47:28.960 a cry for help, you
00:47:30.480 know, just when I see
00:47:31.200 people who have put,
00:47:32.300 you know, rings through
00:47:33.400 their face over and
00:47:35.240 over and over again,
00:47:36.700 and it's their choice.
00:47:39.340 There's a difference,
00:47:41.500 however, when it comes
00:47:44.760 to children, and
00:47:47.060 what we are now
00:47:48.840 advocating, what our
00:47:49.840 doctors are now
00:47:50.640 advocating, is
00:47:52.000 sterilization and
00:47:54.460 to actually take
00:47:56.720 really detrimental
00:47:58.340 hormones and
00:48:01.520 change you
00:48:04.560 forever, and you
00:48:06.900 made a great point
00:48:07.780 over the weekend.
00:48:09.200 The American
00:48:09.960 Society of
00:48:10.820 Pediatrics says,
00:48:11.940 you know, we
00:48:12.280 shouldn't, doctors
00:48:13.680 should discourage
00:48:14.680 kids from having a
00:48:15.880 tattoo because it's
00:48:17.640 permanent and it's
00:48:18.760 scarring, and yet
00:48:21.360 they'll give a child
00:48:23.080 without parental
00:48:23.960 permission a double
00:48:25.780 mastectomy.
00:48:27.780 Right.
00:48:28.640 And so you raise
00:48:29.740 several excellent
00:48:31.760 points.
00:48:32.240 number one, yes,
00:48:37.340 adults, adults have a
00:48:39.500 maturity, both
00:48:41.180 experiential maturity
00:48:42.960 and cognitive
00:48:43.880 maturity that
00:48:45.580 children and
00:48:47.240 teenagers do not
00:48:49.180 have.
00:48:50.220 This isn't just
00:48:51.060 known through
00:48:51.880 common sense, and
00:48:53.860 I mean, any
00:48:54.980 mother, school
00:48:56.220 teacher, father,
00:48:57.600 grandparent knows
00:48:58.720 this.
00:48:59.320 Shakespeare knew
00:49:00.240 it, okay?
00:49:01.500 Children are not
00:49:02.500 little adults, and
00:49:03.620 teenagers and
00:49:04.400 adolescents do
00:49:05.200 crazy things.
00:49:06.600 Neuroscience has
00:49:07.660 now proven it.
00:49:08.840 We know this
00:49:09.760 through functional
00:49:10.480 brain imaging
00:49:11.420 that the risk
00:49:14.200 center and the
00:49:15.560 control, the
00:49:19.480 frontal lobes are
00:49:22.380 the portions of
00:49:23.360 the brain that
00:49:23.980 control judgment,
00:49:25.960 risk assessment,
00:49:27.000 and self
00:49:27.720 control, those
00:49:28.560 don't mature
00:49:29.380 until the early
00:49:30.660 20s.
00:49:32.180 So, as you
00:49:33.460 said, if we're
00:49:34.120 talking about an
00:49:35.360 adult who is
00:49:37.240 convinced that
00:49:38.980 they are thoroughly
00:49:40.260 unhappy, they
00:49:41.440 believe they're the
00:49:42.300 opposite sex, I
00:49:43.100 still consider that
00:49:44.100 a tragedy, but if
00:49:46.540 they go forth and
00:49:48.500 they're going to
00:49:49.760 pay out of their
00:49:51.140 own pocket for
00:49:51.860 these surgeries and
00:49:52.740 these hormones because
00:49:53.620 they and the
00:49:55.120 physicians they've
00:49:55.820 consulted think this
00:49:56.860 is all that's
00:49:58.300 left for them, as
00:50:01.080 a society, okay,
00:50:02.480 okay, I can see
00:50:03.740 that.
00:50:04.940 But what the
00:50:05.600 College of
00:50:06.120 Pediatricians and
00:50:06.900 I are arguing is
00:50:08.440 specifically what you
00:50:09.440 said.
00:50:09.840 These are children.
00:50:10.980 These are children
00:50:11.800 who need protection
00:50:13.660 and guidance and
00:50:15.180 authentic mental
00:50:16.900 health.
00:50:18.500 And what's even
00:50:19.640 more important, we
00:50:21.400 know already that
00:50:23.460 the vast majority
00:50:24.540 of young children, up
00:50:26.100 to 95%, who are
00:50:28.780 supported through
00:50:30.960 natural puberty, up
00:50:33.060 to 95%, certainly
00:50:35.360 well over 75%,
00:50:37.120 will accept their
00:50:39.080 biological sex by
00:50:40.440 young adulthood.
00:50:42.520 So, you know, as
00:50:44.880 you said, to put
00:50:45.660 them on puberty
00:50:46.240 blockers plus the
00:50:47.800 cross-sex hormones
00:50:48.820 together, if you've
00:50:50.700 never allowed them to
00:50:51.900 mature enough through
00:50:52.920 puberty, you are
00:50:54.000 permanently sterilizing
00:50:55.280 them.
00:50:56.360 A child at age
00:50:57.660 11, even a
00:50:59.540 child who's a
00:51:00.340 teenager, cannot
00:51:01.380 possibly comprehend
00:51:03.940 what it means to be
00:51:06.580 permanently sterile.
00:51:09.340 And the same thing
00:51:10.700 with getting a
00:51:11.260 double mastectomy,
00:51:13.100 the same thing, when
00:51:14.380 you go on these
00:51:15.680 cross-sex hormones,
00:51:17.600 your risk, it
00:51:18.540 elevates risks for
00:51:20.000 heart disease, hypertension
00:51:22.280 or high blood
00:51:22.860 pressure, strokes,
00:51:24.760 cancers.
00:51:27.200 This is crazy.
00:51:28.620 It is absolutely
00:51:29.540 crazy to put
00:51:30.920 children at risk
00:51:32.780 on these high-risk
00:51:34.880 medications when
00:51:36.440 the vast majority
00:51:37.620 would simply
00:51:38.460 outgrow it with
00:51:40.720 support through
00:51:42.340 natural puberty.
00:51:43.040 I want to come
00:51:45.600 back.
00:51:45.820 We have to take
00:51:46.280 a break, but I
00:51:46.800 want to come back
00:51:47.540 and talk to you
00:51:48.240 because there's a
00:51:48.780 real crisis of
00:51:51.300 suicide and I
00:51:53.780 believe it's a loss
00:51:54.680 of meaning in our
00:51:56.300 culture.
00:51:58.240 And what is being
00:51:59.520 pushed in the
00:52:00.340 schools, I think,
00:52:01.800 is extraordinarily
00:52:03.160 dangerous.
00:52:05.140 And I want to
00:52:06.240 further that
00:52:07.020 conversation with
00:52:07.940 you when we
00:52:09.160 continue.

00:53:38.760 Glenn Beck.
00:53:48.960 Dr. Michelle Critella,
00:53:50.500 president of the
00:53:51.100 American College of
00:53:52.400 Pediatricians joins us.
00:53:54.000 She was speaking at the
00:53:55.200 Heritage Foundation.
00:53:56.180 She gave a quite a
00:53:57.400 stirring talk and
00:53:58.320 caused a lot of
00:53:59.240 controversy online.
00:54:00.900 mine, I can't imagine
00:54:02.200 the hell that your
00:54:05.580 life is, quite
00:54:06.900 honestly.
00:54:07.820 Can you tell us
00:54:09.040 first, Michelle, the
00:54:10.400 difference between sex
00:54:11.640 and gender?
00:54:12.680 What's the difference
00:54:13.500 between sex and
00:54:14.300 gender?
00:54:15.300 Sure.
00:54:16.620 Sex, quite simply,
00:54:18.400 is biologically
00:54:19.780 determined at
00:54:20.700 fertilization by
00:54:22.700 genetics.
00:54:23.780 any unborn child
00:54:27.660 who has a
00:54:28.620 functioning
00:54:29.240 Y chromosome
00:54:30.500 is going to
00:54:31.660 develop into
00:54:32.580 a male.
00:54:34.140 And if that
00:54:35.180 unborn child is
00:54:36.020 missing a
00:54:37.000 functional Y
00:54:37.660 chromosome, the
00:54:38.660 child develops
00:54:39.280 into a female.
00:54:40.860 There's nothing
00:54:41.460 in between.
00:54:43.860 The body
00:54:44.700 declares
00:54:46.380 our sex.
00:54:47.460 It's there in
00:54:48.740 our body.
00:54:51.060 Now, gender
00:54:52.500 has essentially
00:54:53.920 become a
00:54:54.660 political, just
00:54:56.440 a political
00:54:56.960 term.
00:54:58.760 Right.
00:54:59.200 When I was
00:55:00.020 growing up,
00:55:00.760 gender and
00:55:02.120 sex was the
00:55:02.740 same.
00:55:03.240 The same.
00:55:04.000 Yes, okay.
00:55:04.600 All right.
00:55:05.540 So I just
00:55:06.300 wanted to make
00:55:06.780 sure that I
00:55:07.300 hadn't missed
00:55:07.840 something along
00:55:08.560 the way, that
00:55:09.180 somebody was
00:55:10.080 taking terms and
00:55:10.900 changing them.
00:55:11.700 Okay.
00:55:11.820 Well, this is
00:55:13.280 what happened.
00:55:14.260 Prior to the
00:55:15.060 1950s, gender
00:55:16.540 was not
00:55:17.260 anywhere to
00:55:17.780 be found in
00:55:18.520 the medical
00:55:19.080 literature.
00:55:20.360 But in the
00:55:20.820 1950s, that's
00:55:22.080 when sexologists
00:55:23.260 like John
00:55:24.180 Money and
00:55:24.900 Harry Benjamin
00:55:25.680 were wanting
00:55:27.300 to justify
00:55:28.760 sex reassignment
00:55:30.660 surgery, so
00:55:31.800 called.
00:55:32.820 And they
00:55:33.600 needed, they
00:55:34.800 knew they
00:55:35.460 couldn't, that
00:55:36.560 you can't
00:55:37.440 change sex.
00:55:38.480 Surgery and
00:55:39.440 chemicals cannot
00:55:40.740 change sex.
00:55:41.700 They knew
00:55:42.040 this.
00:55:42.640 So they had
00:55:43.140 to invent a
00:55:44.000 term to
00:55:45.200 justify their
00:55:46.280 profiting from
00:55:47.240 this surgery.
00:55:48.500 And so they
00:55:48.940 grabbed onto
00:55:49.860 gender and
00:55:50.740 said, oh,
00:55:51.880 gender for
00:55:52.840 us means the
00:55:54.780 social expression
00:55:55.900 of an internal
00:55:57.040 sex identity.
00:55:59.440 And that is
00:56:00.760 what is being
00:56:01.640 put forth now
00:56:02.760 without any,
00:56:04.000 it's made up.
00:56:06.060 There's no such
00:56:06.820 thing as an
00:56:07.880 innate sex identity.
00:56:10.120 Okay, so
00:56:11.160 here's the real
00:56:14.140 problem.
00:56:14.820 At seven years
00:56:16.480 old, I mean,
00:56:17.500 you know, in
00:56:18.220 my faith, you
00:56:19.880 choose to be a
00:56:21.060 member of our
00:56:21.580 faith at what we
00:56:22.280 call the age of
00:56:22.820 accountability is
00:56:23.520 eight years old.
00:56:24.380 However, there's a
00:56:25.480 lot of people that
00:56:26.440 make a choice early
00:56:27.680 on that I'm a
00:56:28.480 Catholic, I'm a
00:56:29.240 Baptist, I'm an
00:56:30.220 atheist, I'm
00:56:30.740 whatever, and they
00:56:32.040 change.
00:56:33.440 No decision that
00:56:35.160 is permanent should
00:56:36.500 be made by a
00:56:37.720 seven-year-old
00:56:38.940 under any
00:56:40.060 circumstance, or
00:56:40.960 quite honestly,
00:56:41.880 there'd be a lot
00:56:42.700 of us that were
00:56:43.180 walking around
00:56:43.860 that were, you
00:56:44.840 know, that wanted
00:56:45.360 at seven to be a
00:56:46.280 kitty cat or
00:56:47.080 Batman.
00:56:48.500 Right, right,
00:56:49.600 exactly.
00:56:50.600 And that's what I
00:56:51.580 try to make, you
00:56:52.520 know, in this
00:56:54.160 debate, we're
00:56:56.640 debating physical
00:56:58.120 reality, the
00:56:58.940 physical reality of
00:56:59.780 sex versus
00:57:01.320 identity.
00:57:03.340 And identity
00:57:04.000 refers to
00:57:05.260 thinking and
00:57:06.140 perceiving, which
00:57:06.920 is in the mind,
00:57:07.720 and that is
00:57:08.800 changeable, okay?
00:57:10.700 So that's the,
00:57:11.800 and as far as
00:57:12.620 gender identity,
00:57:14.400 meaning recognizing
00:57:15.500 your own sex,
00:57:17.780 the gender
00:57:19.440 experts, so
00:57:20.320 called, are
00:57:21.180 correct that
00:57:22.060 most children
00:57:23.220 correctly identify
00:57:25.340 themselves as
00:57:26.220 boys or girls by
00:57:27.240 age three.
00:57:28.000 But what the
00:57:28.740 experts are not
00:57:30.020 saying is that
00:57:31.360 many children
00:57:32.900 ages seven and
00:57:34.740 below do not
00:57:36.340 understand that
00:57:37.640 sex is constant
00:57:38.880 and permanent
00:57:39.860 and stable.
00:57:40.980 In other words,
00:57:42.240 some seven-year-olds
00:57:43.360 actually believe if
00:57:44.700 they watch a man
00:57:45.820 put on a dress
00:57:46.960 and makeup, will
00:57:48.060 actually think,
00:57:49.260 oh, he just
00:57:50.080 became a woman.
00:57:51.620 So, cognitively
00:57:53.340 speaking, it is a
00:57:55.180 process of
00:57:55.900 development.
00:57:56.520 treatment, and
00:57:57.300 because of, that's
00:57:59.240 why it's so
00:57:59.880 damaging to have
00:58:02.240 three-year-olds being
00:58:03.380 read to by drag
00:58:05.340 queens, and
00:58:06.280 particularly when the
00:58:07.340 drag queens are
00:58:08.180 reading these
00:58:09.000 ridiculous gender
00:58:09.820 bending picture books
00:58:11.000 to them.
00:58:11.600 It is confusing and
00:58:13.220 will derail the
00:58:15.060 normal psychological
00:58:16.360 and cognitive
00:58:17.000 development of those
00:58:18.360 preschool children.
00:58:19.980 Well, lifelong
00:58:20.660 decisions should not
00:58:21.680 be made while
00:58:22.760 viewing Peppa Pig,
00:58:23.600 is kind of what
00:58:24.160 you're saying.
00:58:26.020 Okay.
00:58:27.120 Lifelong decisions
00:58:28.020 should not be made
00:58:29.020 by children, even
00:58:30.560 teenagers.
00:58:31.820 I mean, adolescence is
00:58:33.700 full of changeability.
00:58:35.200 Okay, hold on for
00:58:35.980 just a second.
00:58:37.260 I want to continue
00:58:37.880 our conversation in
00:58:38.760 just a second with
00:58:39.580 Dr. Michelle
00:58:40.800 Critella.
00:58:41.940 She is the
00:58:42.580 president of American
00:58:43.420 College of Pediatricians.
00:58:45.540 We're going to talk a
00:58:46.140 little bit about what
00:58:46.740 your children are being
00:58:47.720 taught in school and
00:58:49.140 how to talk to them
00:58:50.720 about it.
00:58:51.500 Coming up.
00:59:00.520 Glenn Beck.
00:59:10.600 This is the Glenn Beck
00:59:11.860 program.
00:59:13.340 We're spending some
00:59:14.180 time with Dr. Michelle
00:59:15.640 Critella.
00:59:16.700 She is a, she's the
00:59:18.900 president of American
00:59:20.300 College of Pediatricians.
00:59:21.720 Just full disclosure,
00:59:22.980 you should know that,
00:59:24.020 what is that group,
00:59:25.560 the Southern Poverty
00:59:26.700 Law Center, you know,
00:59:28.900 deems her group as,
00:59:30.020 you know, hate-filled
00:59:30.900 or whatever it is.
00:59:33.060 So she's not liked,
00:59:34.420 but I could imagine
00:59:35.220 you already know that
00:59:36.780 because of the things
00:59:38.920 that she is saying.
00:59:39.820 She is at a published
00:59:41.340 paper in the Journal of
00:59:42.320 American Physicians and
00:59:43.480 Surgeons just last year
00:59:44.760 on gender dysphoria
00:59:46.180 in children and suppression
00:59:48.360 of debate.
00:59:49.960 And we wanted to give
00:59:51.440 her some airtime to tell
00:59:53.260 us what your children
00:59:54.500 are facing in school
00:59:56.260 and how do we deal
00:59:57.720 with it?
00:59:59.280 Sure.
01:00:01.060 From the early
01:00:02.640 elementary levels,
01:00:05.360 I've been sent school
01:00:07.240 curricula to evaluate
01:00:09.020 from concerned parents.
01:00:11.100 I hear from concerned
01:00:12.920 parents and even
01:00:14.260 teachers across America
01:00:17.720 particularly over the
01:00:19.120 last couple of years.
01:00:20.940 So preschool to the
01:00:22.100 elementary years,
01:00:23.300 it's primarily
01:00:25.340 introduced by books,
01:00:26.940 anything from picture
01:00:27.740 books to story books,
01:00:29.160 normalizing gender
01:00:30.840 confusion.
01:00:32.720 One that is particularly,
01:00:34.380 I consider particularly
01:00:35.240 dangerous for preschoolers
01:00:36.720 is introducing Teddy.
01:00:38.920 And it's about a
01:00:40.220 teddy bear who starts
01:00:41.660 out wearing a bow tie
01:00:43.360 and his name is Teddy
01:00:44.280 and by the end
01:00:45.080 of the story,
01:00:46.320 he has moved his
01:00:47.640 bow tie to his head
01:00:49.720 as a barrette,
01:00:51.580 changed his name to a,
01:00:53.240 you know,
01:00:53.480 and has become a girl
01:00:54.500 teddy bear,
01:00:55.320 the children are taught.
01:00:57.280 And again,
01:00:58.100 because of their
01:00:58.880 development,
01:00:59.880 they will,
01:01:00.820 many of these young
01:01:01.700 children will come
01:01:02.460 to believe,
01:01:03.300 oh yes,
01:01:03.900 I can change my sex
01:01:05.180 just by changing
01:01:06.580 my appearance.
01:01:07.320 The other thing
01:01:10.140 that is very disturbing
01:01:11.360 is that biology
01:01:13.220 has been deemed
01:01:14.560 transphobic.
01:01:17.780 As incredible
01:01:19.900 as it may be
01:01:20.800 to believe,
01:01:23.320 there are,
01:01:24.100 I've been handed
01:01:24.900 curricula
01:01:26.140 for biology lessons
01:01:27.960 and health lessons
01:01:29.160 that specifically
01:01:31.260 tell the teachers
01:01:32.360 do not refer
01:01:33.360 to boys and girls,
01:01:34.640 refer to students,
01:01:35.600 and do not say
01:01:37.120 that girls make eggs
01:01:38.760 and boys make sperm,
01:01:40.740 refer to people,
01:01:44.060 people with ovaries
01:01:46.300 make eggs
01:01:47.140 and people with testicles
01:01:48.720 make sperm
01:01:49.700 because we want
01:01:51.760 to be,
01:01:52.540 um,
01:01:53.660 But again,
01:01:54.180 you're,
01:01:54.500 I mean,
01:01:54.880 you know,
01:01:55.600 we're called science deniers
01:01:57.140 if you're on the right,
01:01:58.160 but this is a denial
01:01:59.840 of the,
01:02:01.040 the,
01:02:01.520 yeah,
01:02:02.580 the X and Y chromosome.
01:02:04.760 Yeah,
01:02:05.320 it's the,
01:02:06.160 and,
01:02:06.700 you know,
01:02:07.260 and what is
01:02:08.500 not helpful
01:02:09.880 is that the other side
01:02:12.120 is using
01:02:13.520 true biological disorders
01:02:17.980 known as
01:02:19.240 disorders of sex
01:02:21.380 development,
01:02:22.540 and these are people
01:02:24.400 who have genuine
01:02:26.660 genetic disorders
01:02:29.020 and therefore
01:02:31.220 are oftentimes infertile
01:02:33.320 because they,
01:02:33.820 they don't have,
01:02:36.440 they may have been
01:02:39.920 born with a
01:02:40.640 non-functioning
01:02:41.640 Y chromosome,
01:02:42.840 for example.
01:02:44.380 There are multiple,
01:02:45.420 they are extremely rare,
01:02:47.100 but the body declares
01:02:49.160 these extremely rare
01:02:51.360 disorders.
01:02:52.540 They are not part
01:02:53.840 of the transgender
01:02:54.940 phenomenon.
01:02:56.780 They are separate
01:02:58.140 and distinct,
01:02:59.320 but the
01:03:01.200 transgender activists
01:03:02.360 have
01:03:03.000 unjustly
01:03:04.760 pulled them
01:03:05.500 into their
01:03:06.300 cause.
01:03:08.180 You know,
01:03:08.420 we know
01:03:08.940 these are disorders
01:03:09.720 of sex development
01:03:10.740 precisely because
01:03:12.120 the norm
01:03:13.660 is to have
01:03:14.420 male and female
01:03:15.360 to continue
01:03:16.140 the species,
01:03:17.320 right?
01:03:17.660 That's basic
01:03:18.400 biology 101.
01:03:20.800 Have you heard
01:03:21.860 about the
01:03:22.640 doctors up,
01:03:24.160 I read about them
01:03:24.960 in Vancouver,
01:03:26.160 Canada,
01:03:27.020 that are now
01:03:28.100 dealing with
01:03:29.400 handicap dysphoria
01:03:32.660 where people
01:03:33.760 are coming in
01:03:34.540 and saying,
01:03:35.220 I was born
01:03:36.120 handicapped.
01:03:37.720 I was born
01:03:38.360 with only one arm
01:03:39.640 and they are
01:03:40.380 asking the doctors
01:03:41.440 to remove
01:03:42.720 an arm.
01:03:44.340 Yes,
01:03:44.760 and this is,
01:03:45.480 this is actually
01:03:46.580 not new.
01:03:47.860 It's,
01:03:48.100 there's a name
01:03:49.000 for it.
01:03:49.580 It's called
01:03:49.900 body identity
01:03:52.020 integrity
01:03:53.080 disorder.
01:03:54.220 And one
01:03:55.720 of the
01:03:56.180 more common,
01:03:57.600 I mean,
01:03:57.900 it's rare,
01:03:58.860 but one
01:03:59.660 of the
01:03:59.960 more common
01:04:00.720 predisposing
01:04:02.060 events
01:04:02.960 is for
01:04:03.840 soldiers
01:04:04.760 who've come
01:04:05.420 back from
01:04:05.920 war
01:04:06.300 and witnessed
01:04:07.340 their friends
01:04:08.260 dying.
01:04:11.200 And so
01:04:12.620 they have
01:04:13.020 post-traumatic
01:04:13.720 stress,
01:04:14.740 they have
01:04:15.200 survivor guilt,
01:04:16.240 and they come
01:04:17.020 back from war
01:04:17.800 convinced that
01:04:18.960 they are
01:04:19.340 actually
01:04:19.900 amputees
01:04:21.380 themselves
01:04:22.160 trapped
01:04:23.260 in a
01:04:24.140 normal body
01:04:24.860 and they
01:04:25.280 will ask
01:04:25.840 to have
01:04:26.180 their legs
01:04:26.580 removed.
01:04:27.720 And so
01:04:28.740 there's no
01:04:29.420 one.
01:04:31.180 So wait,
01:04:31.940 so what is
01:04:32.340 the difference?
01:04:33.240 What,
01:04:33.420 what do
01:04:34.040 doctors on
01:04:34.520 the other
01:04:34.820 side say
01:04:35.420 is the
01:04:36.420 difference
01:04:36.840 between
01:04:37.240 that and
01:04:38.540 I need
01:04:39.140 to have
01:04:39.340 my breast
01:04:39.820 removed?
01:04:42.280 Oh,
01:04:43.000 well,
01:04:43.460 when you
01:04:43.780 want a
01:04:45.180 healthy body
01:04:46.000 part other
01:04:46.620 than your
01:04:46.980 breast or
01:04:47.420 your penis
01:04:47.880 removed,
01:04:48.620 that's a
01:04:49.160 mental
01:04:49.340 disorder.
01:04:49.960 Oh,
01:04:50.060 that's a
01:04:50.580 conversion
01:04:50.960 disorder.
01:04:51.500 That's
01:04:52.100 post-traumatic
01:04:52.660 stress.
01:04:53.840 The bottom
01:04:55.180 line is
01:04:55.680 when you
01:04:56.100 are talking
01:04:56.740 psychology
01:04:57.820 or psychiatry,
01:05:00.040 the diagnosis
01:05:01.300 is made
01:05:02.240 by listening
01:05:03.780 to the
01:05:04.320 person's
01:05:05.300 words and
01:05:05.940 thoughts,
01:05:07.320 and you
01:05:07.600 have to
01:05:07.860 ask yourself,
01:05:08.660 does this
01:05:09.140 match reality
01:05:09.860 or not?
01:05:10.580 That's the
01:05:11.240 bottom line.
01:05:11.900 There's no
01:05:12.200 blood test.
01:05:13.340 There's no
01:05:13.960 genetic test.
01:05:15.920 It's we
01:05:16.820 are contrasting
01:05:17.920 the person's
01:05:19.100 thoughts and
01:05:19.680 perceptions
01:05:20.280 and feelings
01:05:22.240 against reality.
01:05:24.420 And that's
01:05:24.940 ultimately what
01:05:25.960 mental health,
01:05:27.060 the field of
01:05:27.640 mental health
01:05:28.060 and medicine
01:05:28.420 does in
01:05:29.800 every case
01:05:30.800 except
01:05:31.500 sex.
01:05:33.100 When it
01:05:33.360 comes to
01:05:33.820 your sex
01:05:34.220 organs,
01:05:34.720 all of a
01:05:35.080 sudden,
01:05:35.340 ooh,
01:05:35.500 it's
01:05:35.700 different.
01:05:36.020 Do you
01:05:36.720 believe this
01:05:39.240 is going to
01:05:39.880 get much
01:05:41.060 worse before
01:05:42.120 we return
01:05:42.880 to sanity?
01:05:43.480 sanity?
01:05:46.420 I have hope
01:05:49.060 that we
01:05:52.880 will return
01:05:53.720 to sanity.
01:05:56.100 It's going
01:05:57.200 to be very
01:05:58.500 difficult, but
01:05:59.360 the reason I
01:05:59.840 have hope is
01:06:00.480 because I
01:06:02.260 am hearing
01:06:02.980 from physicians,
01:06:05.260 therapists on
01:06:07.020 the left,
01:06:08.160 and they're
01:06:08.860 thanking me for
01:06:10.420 speaking out.
01:06:11.260 I have far
01:06:13.100 more people
01:06:13.600 thanking me
01:06:14.400 than coming
01:06:16.080 after me with
01:06:16.940 ad hominem
01:06:17.500 attacks.
01:06:19.340 I even have
01:06:20.500 some members
01:06:21.360 of the
01:06:21.780 transgender
01:06:22.160 community
01:06:22.880 thanking me
01:06:23.880 because they
01:06:25.220 are deeply
01:06:25.720 concerned about
01:06:26.900 what is
01:06:27.280 happening to
01:06:28.240 innocent children.
01:06:31.120 And even,
01:06:31.720 I mean,
01:06:32.680 radical feminists,
01:06:34.560 lesbians,
01:06:35.180 and gay
01:06:37.740 men have
01:06:38.280 not been
01:06:38.720 speaking out
01:06:39.380 as much
01:06:40.080 on this
01:06:41.040 as the
01:06:41.920 radical feminists
01:06:42.660 and some
01:06:43.780 lesbians,
01:06:44.800 but they
01:06:45.640 are there
01:06:46.460 in the
01:06:46.880 background,
01:06:47.820 and essentially
01:06:49.460 they're saying,
01:06:50.340 you know,
01:06:51.540 what the
01:06:52.980 experts are
01:06:53.580 not bringing
01:06:54.060 out is that
01:06:54.780 when you
01:06:55.420 do support
01:06:56.420 gender-confused
01:06:57.280 children through
01:06:58.160 natural puberty,
01:06:59.580 not only do the
01:07:01.060 vast majority
01:07:01.580 identify with
01:07:02.480 their biological
01:07:03.040 sex,
01:07:03.660 but a large
01:07:04.460 percentage
01:07:05.020 also identify
01:07:07.180 as gay
01:07:09.900 adults.
01:07:12.080 So,
01:07:12.440 from within
01:07:13.580 the LGB
01:07:14.320 communities,
01:07:18.080 many of
01:07:19.300 them look
01:07:20.000 at this as,
01:07:21.120 this is
01:07:21.520 eugenics.
01:07:22.720 You're sterilizing
01:07:24.040 children.
01:07:25.060 Yes.
01:07:25.940 Yes.
01:07:26.280 Do you see
01:07:26.360 what I mean?
01:07:26.780 Yes,
01:07:27.780 I do.
01:07:28.800 They see it
01:07:29.880 as a
01:07:30.380 tremendous
01:07:31.660 homophobic
01:07:32.740 movement.
01:07:33.660 So there
01:07:34.320 are many
01:07:34.800 layers to
01:07:35.740 this that
01:07:36.280 cross
01:07:37.200 political
01:07:38.240 boundaries.
01:07:39.660 And that's
01:07:39.980 why I have
01:07:40.420 it.
01:07:40.740 And like
01:07:41.040 you said
01:07:41.780 earlier,
01:07:42.880 it's so
01:07:43.580 clearly
01:07:44.120 anti-science.
01:07:45.760 It's contrary
01:07:46.560 to biology
01:07:48.100 and physical
01:07:48.740 reality.
01:07:49.560 I mean,
01:07:50.080 if we
01:07:51.400 lose on
01:07:51.980 this,
01:07:53.080 you know,
01:07:53.520 we're,
01:07:54.120 holy cow,
01:07:55.780 it's,
01:07:55.960 you know,
01:07:56.540 it's far,
01:07:57.720 forget about
01:07:58.440 it.
01:07:58.640 Thank you,
01:08:00.220 doctor.
01:08:00.780 Dr.
01:08:01.360 Michelle
01:08:01.960 Critella.
01:08:03.380 Thank you.
01:08:08.460 Website is
01:08:09.160 factsaboutyouth.com,
01:08:11.160 the American
01:08:11.520 College of
01:08:12.400 Pediatrics,
01:08:13.020 and Dr.
01:08:13.360 Michelle
01:08:13.720 Critella,
01:08:15.120 who is
01:08:15.560 more optimistic
01:08:17.640 than many
01:08:18.700 on the victory
01:08:20.120 in that
01:08:20.460 particular battle.
01:08:21.260 I will tell
01:08:23.500 you,
01:08:23.680 though,
01:08:23.840 that I hear
01:08:24.280 the same
01:08:24.700 thing.
01:08:25.040 I hear the
01:08:25.480 same thing
01:08:25.920 from people
01:08:26.800 on the
01:08:27.220 left.
01:08:27.600 They say
01:08:27.940 it quietly,
01:08:29.280 but they
01:08:29.820 are saying
01:08:30.380 it,
01:08:31.080 and that
01:08:31.480 is,
01:08:31.960 I'm beginning
01:08:32.580 to be more
01:08:33.080 afraid of my
01:08:33.640 own side
01:08:34.140 than yours.
01:08:35.860 My side
01:08:36.820 has given
01:08:38.340 in to the
01:08:38.780 crazies,
01:08:39.660 and they're
01:08:40.980 going over
01:08:42.700 the edge.
01:08:44.980 You probably
01:08:46.020 will regret
01:08:47.860 not saying
01:08:48.820 that out
01:08:49.240 loud,
01:08:49.760 just as so
01:08:50.500 many are
01:08:51.100 regretting
01:08:51.640 now not
01:08:52.520 saying
01:08:52.760 anything
01:08:53.040 about
01:08:53.280 Harvey
01:08:53.540 Weinstein.
01:08:56.120 We all
01:08:56.780 hear the
01:08:57.040 stories in
01:08:57.460 the news.
01:08:57.880 Good guy
01:08:58.260 uses a gun
01:08:58.860 to protect
01:08:59.260 his family
01:08:59.760 from criminals,
01:09:00.400 and he's
01:09:01.140 the one
01:09:01.600 who gets
01:09:02.120 arrested.
01:09:03.280 Thanks to
01:09:04.020 our court
01:09:04.460 system,
01:09:05.020 that happens
01:09:05.720 a lot,
01:09:06.700 and what
01:09:07.120 can happen
01:09:07.700 to you
01:09:08.200 unless you're
01:09:08.980 fully prepared.
01:09:10.500 Now,
01:09:10.940 I want you
01:09:11.540 to get a
01:09:12.840 concealed
01:09:13.160 carry permit,
01:09:14.140 but I also
01:09:14.720 want you to
01:09:15.340 join the
01:09:15.740 USCCA.
01:09:17.340 Gave a story
01:09:18.040 this morning
01:09:18.700 out of San
01:09:19.320 Diego of a
01:09:20.620 woman who
01:09:21.240 had a
01:09:22.200 concealed
01:09:22.800 carry permit.
01:09:23.480 She had a
01:09:23.960 gun in her
01:09:24.800 car.
01:09:25.340 How did
01:09:25.860 she do
01:09:26.100 that in
01:09:26.360 California?
01:09:28.480 I mean,
01:09:28.760 that's a
01:09:29.180 remarkable thing
01:09:30.080 just in and
01:09:30.540 of itself.
01:09:31.060 Yeah,
01:09:31.220 not easy.
01:09:31.920 But she
01:09:32.300 had a gun
01:09:32.720 underneath the
01:09:33.460 car seat,
01:09:34.960 and a guy
01:09:36.260 kidnaps her,
01:09:38.040 just opens up
01:09:39.100 her car door,
01:09:39.840 gets in,
01:09:40.420 puts a gun,
01:09:41.760 or I'm sorry,
01:09:42.380 puts a knife
01:09:42.900 to her throat,
01:09:44.000 says drive,
01:09:44.660 takes her to
01:09:45.080 a wooded area.
01:09:46.320 She is still
01:09:47.300 driving,
01:09:47.760 so she stops
01:09:48.540 the car,
01:09:49.040 and she knows
01:09:49.480 her gun is
01:09:50.120 underneath the
01:09:50.780 seat,
01:09:51.580 and she takes
01:09:53.640 it,
01:09:54.000 and she now
01:09:54.760 has a gun
01:09:56.000 and a knife
01:09:56.440 fight.
01:09:57.540 He's been
01:09:58.140 arrested.
01:09:58.960 She was
01:09:59.600 unharmed.
01:10:00.560 I'd like to
01:10:01.180 see what
01:10:01.620 happened to
01:10:02.220 her as the
01:10:02.820 police arrived
01:10:03.380 in California,
01:10:03.900 and she
01:10:04.200 defended herself
01:10:04.860 with a gun.
01:10:05.800 You need
01:10:06.400 protection,
01:10:07.460 and the
01:10:08.260 USCCA does
01:10:09.720 just that.
01:10:10.860 I want you
01:10:11.660 to go right
01:10:12.500 now to
01:10:12.960 protectanddefend.com
01:10:14.660 protectanddefend.com
01:10:16.660 find out all
01:10:17.860 the different
01:10:18.200 ways that they
01:10:18.880 can educate
01:10:19.720 you and your
01:10:20.240 family how to
01:10:20.840 stay safe,
01:10:21.420 but also how
01:10:23.000 they can protect
01:10:23.940 you, God
01:10:24.760 forbid, if you
01:10:25.620 ever need to
01:10:26.480 use a gun.

01:10:30.200 Glenn Beck
01:10:34.140 Glenn Beck
01:10:40.780 We're just
01:10:43.360 counting the
01:10:43.880 number of
01:10:44.460 Peppa Pig
01:10:45.140 references that
01:10:46.840 Stu has to
01:10:48.300 make in
01:10:50.300 every broadcast.
01:10:52.100 I'm contractually
01:10:52.620 obligated,
01:10:53.180 obviously, to at
01:10:53.660 least mention
01:10:54.080 Peppa once,
01:10:54.720 but this is the
01:10:55.200 second of the
01:10:55.680 day.
01:10:56.100 No, this would
01:10:56.560 be the third.
01:10:57.000 Well, I had one
01:10:58.160 yesterday, so it's
01:10:58.940 three in the last
01:10:59.880 two days now.
01:11:01.660 I'd like to go
01:11:02.240 back to the
01:11:02.640 transcripts because
01:11:03.280 I believe this
01:11:03.940 would be the
01:11:04.300 third time.
01:11:04.860 Really?
01:11:05.280 Yes, I believe
01:11:06.060 it was the
01:11:07.000 third time.
01:11:07.400 Look, it is my
01:11:08.300 favorite kid's
01:11:08.900 show.
01:11:09.200 Probably the
01:11:09.580 fifth time off
01:11:10.460 air.
01:11:10.920 Do I like
01:11:11.500 Blaze and the
01:11:12.500 Monster Machines?
01:11:13.140 Sure, I do.
01:11:13.820 And maybe that
01:11:14.380 would make more
01:11:14.720 sense being that
01:11:15.240 we're on the
01:11:15.640 Blaze convention.
01:11:17.060 Sure.
01:11:17.540 However, Peppa
01:11:18.660 Pig, Mama
01:11:19.960 Pig, Daddy
01:11:20.840 Pig, George,
01:11:21.580 Zoe Zebra,
01:11:22.240 there's a lot of
01:11:22.960 great characters
01:11:23.480 on there.
01:11:25.540 So I do like to
01:11:26.720 hit the Peppa
01:11:27.240 Pig every once in
01:11:27.920 a while.
01:11:29.500 Okay.
01:11:29.960 Again, this is
01:11:31.020 not necessarily
01:11:32.080 the time for my
01:11:33.880 children to be
01:11:34.520 making life-altering
01:11:35.460 decisions that are
01:11:36.760 permanent.
01:11:37.440 For example, even
01:11:38.220 something as fundamental
01:11:39.380 as belief in God
01:11:40.820 can theoretically be
01:11:42.620 reversed if they
01:11:43.420 wish later on in
01:11:44.300 life.
01:11:44.480 I hope that doesn't
01:11:45.140 happen.
01:11:45.920 And it's one of the
01:11:46.640 most important things,
01:11:47.720 probably the most
01:11:48.460 important thing we're
01:11:49.120 trying to teach our
01:11:51.360 children about.
01:11:52.560 But if one of my
01:11:53.720 kids decides later on
01:11:54.840 he wants to reverse
01:11:55.480 that, that will be
01:11:56.320 reversible for them.
01:11:58.580 The idea that while my
01:12:00.840 kid is begging me to
01:12:01.880 watch Peppa Pig or
01:12:03.020 Blaze and the Monster
01:12:03.820 Machines, you know,
01:12:06.400 I don't think...
01:12:07.320 I'm trying to think of
01:12:07.980 any decision, any
01:12:10.100 decision that should be
01:12:12.960 made by a kid that
01:12:15.660 lasts more than a
01:12:17.540 normal kid decision.
01:12:19.020 I mean, even short-term
01:12:20.540 decisions, they want to
01:12:21.320 eat jelly beans for
01:12:22.320 breakfast.
01:12:22.820 Yes.
01:12:23.240 Right?
01:12:23.600 I mean, there's nothing.
01:12:24.860 They want to eat paste
01:12:25.920 half the time, which is
01:12:27.000 not as bad as people
01:12:28.020 say, but...
01:12:29.040 Ooh, your kids want to
01:12:29.780 eat paste?
01:12:30.180 No, they don't.
01:12:31.020 I was going to say
01:12:31.340 because there's something
01:12:32.320 wrong with them.
01:12:33.260 Probably.
01:12:33.960 Yeah.
01:12:34.340 Sure, it's not...
01:12:35.760 It's ill-advised, I
01:12:36.940 would say.
01:12:37.440 Yes.
01:12:38.100 But, you know, my
01:12:38.980 daughter Ainsley, she
01:12:40.400 likes to cut things out
01:12:41.440 of the paper.
01:12:41.940 You know what else she
01:12:42.360 likes to do?
01:12:42.800 She likes to cut her
01:12:43.440 hair while she's at it.
01:12:45.000 Right.
01:12:45.060 Is that a good decision?
01:12:46.060 No, but the hair grows
01:12:46.980 back.
01:12:47.480 Right.
01:12:47.900 You know, you don't
01:12:48.660 want to make permanent
01:12:49.520 decisions when you're
01:12:51.420 entertained by, you know,
01:12:54.000 maybe a family of small
01:12:55.260 pigs that live on a
01:12:57.180 large hill and occasionally
01:13:00.200 sing songs about balloons.
01:13:01.580 So you say that adults
01:13:02.540 have, you know...
01:13:04.600 Well, maybe it's...
01:13:05.180 I mean, look, I'm also
01:13:06.080 entertained by Peppa Pig,
01:13:06.980 so I'm not making my
01:13:07.800 point very well.
01:13:08.520 But, yes, I think adults
01:13:09.400 have more perspective,
01:13:11.020 maybe more ability to
01:13:11.960 make decisions like that.
01:13:13.660 So have you heard of
01:13:14.580 Bettina Rodriguez Aguilera?
01:13:17.640 I have not.
01:13:19.060 All right.
01:13:19.920 She's a congressional
01:13:20.820 candidate from Miami.
01:13:22.760 Mm-hmm.
01:13:23.000 And she's running for
01:13:28.200 Congress, and she said
01:13:29.820 that three blonde, big-bodied
01:13:32.660 beings, two females, one
01:13:35.080 male, visited her when she
01:13:37.200 was seven.
01:13:38.920 Okay, see?
01:13:40.520 Okay.
01:13:40.880 And communicated
01:13:41.960 telepathically to her
01:13:43.560 several times in her life.
01:13:47.600 Rodriguez Aguilera, 59,
01:13:50.160 a Republican who is running
01:13:51.480 to replace a retiring
01:13:52.580 Republican, recounted her
01:13:56.000 experience with
01:13:56.960 extraterrestrials during a
01:13:58.580 2009 interview.
01:14:00.300 She said she went up
01:14:01.440 inside the spaceship.
01:14:04.520 I went in, and there were
01:14:05.760 some round seats that were
01:14:07.200 there, and some quartz rocks
01:14:09.640 that controlled the ship.
01:14:10.840 It wasn't like an airplane.
01:14:12.860 Quartz rocks controlled the
01:14:14.300 ship?
01:14:15.140 Come on, man.
01:14:15.760 I just want to make sure
01:14:16.600 I'm understanding.
01:14:17.520 Does it outline the
01:14:19.360 emissions?
01:14:20.340 She said it wasn't like
01:14:21.340 an airplane.
01:14:21.960 She said it wasn't like
01:14:22.700 an airplane, okay?
01:14:24.080 Well, I mean, I did gather
01:14:25.520 that, but I mean, I hope it
01:14:27.020 was an adult for a second.
01:14:28.400 I hope it was carbon
01:14:29.240 neutral, that's all.
01:14:30.640 She said she found several
01:14:31.740 things out from the aliens.
01:14:33.280 One, there are 30,000 skulls
01:14:35.020 different from humans in a
01:14:36.640 cave in the Mediterranean
01:14:38.180 island of Malta.
01:14:40.560 Yeah, well, we should go
01:14:41.420 look for that.
01:14:42.760 I mean, she should go look
01:14:43.860 for it if she's running
01:14:44.640 for Congress, right?
01:14:45.680 She knows where they are.
01:14:46.720 30,000 non-human skulls.
01:14:49.140 Introduce a bill, perhaps?
01:14:50.840 She said the world's
01:14:51.840 energy center is in Africa.
01:14:55.060 Okay, all right.
01:14:55.980 She says the Coral Castle,
01:14:58.020 which is a limestone
01:14:59.040 tourist attraction in
01:15:01.140 South Miami-Dade, is
01:15:02.240 actually an ancient
01:15:03.660 Egyptian pyramid in
01:15:06.260 Miami.
01:15:06.760 How long have we been
01:15:07.420 talking about that?
01:15:08.940 I mean, up to seconds.
01:15:11.640 She also said that aliens
01:15:13.420 mentioned to her ISIS.
01:15:15.780 Now, she didn't clarify
01:15:18.240 whether she meant the
01:15:19.280 terrorist organization or
01:15:20.660 the ancient Egyptian
01:15:21.620 goddess, but she did hear
01:15:24.620 talk about ISIS.
01:15:25.940 Well, it was 2009.
01:15:26.880 It would have to be the
01:15:27.880 goddess, right?
01:15:30.300 Or they were telling her
01:15:31.460 what was coming.
01:15:32.340 Oh, okay.
01:15:32.960 What did she know and when
01:15:34.020 did she know it?
01:15:34.720 That's kind of the question.
01:15:37.000 She should have warned us
01:15:38.180 back then.
01:15:38.700 So, the reason why I'm
01:15:40.220 sharing this is because I
01:15:41.740 just want to show you that
01:15:43.100 even some adults should not
01:15:46.480 be trusted to make their
01:15:47.780 own decisions.
01:15:49.220 Like, I want to run for
01:15:51.480 Congress or, better yet, I
01:15:53.860 think I know who I want to
01:15:55.280 vote for Congress.
01:15:57.120 Or, you know, I'm going to
01:15:58.340 take that interview request.
01:15:59.860 That sounds like a good
01:16:00.460 idea for my future.
01:16:01.640 Yeah.
01:16:02.340 Yeah.
01:16:02.740 Glenn Beck.
01:16:15.200 Love.
01:16:16.780 Courage.
01:16:18.120 Truth.
01:16:19.440 Glenn Beck.
01:16:20.300 All right.
01:16:20.640 We have a choice.
01:16:21.260 We could talk about the
01:16:21.960 latest with Colin Kaepernick
01:16:23.000 and his lawsuit against the
01:16:24.220 NFL.
01:16:24.980 Or, we could talk about a
01:16:26.160 very different story with the
01:16:27.760 NFL.
01:16:28.640 A story that I think is much
01:16:30.160 more important.
01:16:31.400 One that probably is not
01:16:32.720 going to gain an awful lot
01:16:34.000 of coverage.
01:16:35.060 While the National Anthem
01:16:36.160 protests continue to dominate
01:16:37.520 the headlines and create
01:16:39.640 division, one NFL team is
01:16:42.920 quietly taking a different
01:16:44.720 path.
01:16:46.540 Oh, I hate to say this because
01:16:47.880 Stu is such a fan of the
01:16:48.940 Eagles, but the night before
01:16:50.180 the Philadelphia Eagles game
01:16:51.600 in Charlotte, several players
01:16:53.620 gathered at the hotel's
01:16:55.220 indoor swimming pool.
01:16:56.760 They held hands.
01:16:58.660 They prayed while one of their
01:17:00.560 teammates, wide receiver
01:17:01.940 Marcus Johnson, was baptized
01:17:03.760 by a fellow player in the
01:17:06.160 pool.
01:17:07.800 Now, apparently, this is
01:17:09.540 becoming the new norm for
01:17:11.100 the Eagles.
01:17:12.320 A year ago, five other Eagle
01:17:14.340 players were baptized in the
01:17:16.400 recovery pool at the team's
01:17:18.280 practice facility.
01:17:20.360 Several players on the team
01:17:22.720 are outspoken about their
01:17:24.060 Christian faith.
01:17:25.360 They say they have found
01:17:26.120 strength and encouragement from
01:17:27.620 fellow believers on the team.
01:17:29.480 More and more now in the
01:17:32.060 Eagles, teammates are attending
01:17:34.260 weekly Bible studies at
01:17:36.100 players' homes and prayer
01:17:38.260 sessions night before the
01:17:40.000 games.
01:17:41.940 The quarterback, Carson Wentz,
01:17:44.400 openly discusses his faith.
01:17:46.620 Some players have said they're
01:17:47.880 not interested, yet no one on
01:17:49.780 the team is excluded or
01:17:51.000 pressured.
01:17:52.900 Colin Kaepernick seems to be
01:17:55.420 allowing the anthem protest to
01:17:57.360 define the narrative of his
01:17:59.340 life.
01:18:00.620 The anger that he felt about
01:18:02.240 racial injustice that fueled his
01:18:04.300 protest to begin with is now
01:18:06.820 boiling over into more anger and
01:18:08.960 more blame.
01:18:11.500 However, maybe we should take note
01:18:13.660 of the several Philadelphia Eagles
01:18:15.740 players that are more interested in
01:18:18.260 the message that you don't have to
01:18:21.180 let your past, your mistakes, your
01:18:24.520 bitterness, what you've done, what
01:18:27.100 others have done to you, define
01:18:29.300 your life, your story, and your
01:18:32.800 narrative.
01:18:34.200 The Eagles seem to be doing
01:18:36.780 something refreshing during this
01:18:38.440 divisive NFL season.
01:18:40.340 They have a different kind of bond and
01:18:42.960 a different kind of peace that will
01:18:45.240 serve them well beyond the football
01:18:47.640 field.
01:18:48.600 It is the bond of faith that teaches
01:18:50.680 radical love and forgiveness.
01:18:52.080 The only things that can truly reach
01:18:55.340 across the racial and political
01:18:57.180 divide, faith, truth, love,
01:19:01.560 forgiveness.
01:19:03.880 Protests have their place, but they
01:19:07.820 don't have the power to heal a
01:19:10.400 nation.
01:19:10.760 Tuesday, October 17th.
01:19:23.520 You're listening to the Glenn Beck
01:19:25.080 program.
01:19:26.240 No matter what they do, God is not
01:19:29.820 going to allow the Eagles to win.
01:19:31.720 It's just, I want you to know that
01:19:33.620 they will choke in the end.
01:19:35.280 Even I know this.
01:19:36.560 Just once before I die, Glenn, is all
01:19:38.160 I ask.
01:19:38.620 Yeah, well, really, it's all I ask
01:19:40.220 about my life, my time on this
01:19:42.680 planet, is to see this happen one
01:19:44.860 time.
01:19:45.320 Just one time.
01:19:45.520 Just one time before I die.
01:19:46.620 If it happens this year, can you
01:19:48.260 die?
01:19:49.120 Yeah, I could die happy.
01:19:50.600 I don't know if I should die.
01:19:51.520 It's probably not the best thing.
01:19:52.780 All right.
01:19:53.080 Maybe for the family.
01:19:53.980 I don't know.
01:19:54.360 Maybe it is.
01:19:55.160 All right.
01:19:55.740 But look, at least I can die happy.
01:19:58.740 Yeah.
01:19:58.980 You're at that point.
01:19:59.600 You're like, I have no idea if I'm
01:20:00.880 a positive.
01:20:00.900 I could be screwing the kids up.
01:20:02.540 I might be doing great service.
01:20:04.080 I don't know.
01:20:04.620 It is an amazing story, though, because
01:20:06.980 I obviously am a huge fan of the five
01:20:09.760 and one Philadelphia Eagles.
01:20:11.300 However, what's going on with Carson
01:20:13.380 Wentz is really interesting and the
01:20:14.700 team as a whole.
01:20:16.460 Wentz is this, you know, their star
01:20:18.840 quarterback.
01:20:19.500 He's in his second year.
01:20:21.080 And it's interesting to see the
01:20:22.040 difference between him and, you know,
01:20:24.760 for example, Tim Tebow, who was, I
01:20:27.080 mean, became a really immediate
01:20:30.000 firestorm around him with everything.
01:20:32.100 And people were saying he shouldn't
01:20:33.540 be praying on the field and all of
01:20:34.820 these things.
01:20:36.140 The same thing with Carson Wentz.
01:20:37.700 I mean, he is really out there talking
01:20:39.080 about this stuff really regularly.
01:20:40.680 You look at his social media feeds.
01:20:42.880 They I mean, it's as much Bible
01:20:45.180 verse as it is football talk.
01:20:49.620 And he doesn't seem to be getting any
01:20:51.280 of that criticism, which obviously
01:20:53.600 is the right thing.
01:20:54.840 I mean, that you should be getting
01:20:56.320 criticism because of your faith.
01:20:58.320 But he talks about it.
01:20:59.560 He says, I always tell people, for
01:21:01.160 example, if you love your job, you
01:21:02.300 love your wife, you love what you do.
01:21:03.660 You're going to talk about it.
01:21:04.740 Well, I love Jesus.
01:21:05.920 That's what I love.
01:21:06.880 So I'm going to talk about it.
01:21:08.140 So what is the difference?
01:21:09.100 But I'm not going to force it down
01:21:09.980 your throat.
01:21:10.260 What's the difference between him and
01:21:11.420 Tebow?
01:21:11.940 Why is this so under the radar where
01:21:14.060 Tebow was?
01:21:15.300 I mean, he was crucified.
01:21:17.000 Yeah.
01:21:17.200 And, you know, Tebow, I think, you
01:21:19.880 know, Wentz is a much higher profile
01:21:21.340 player as far as his abilities are.
01:21:23.940 You know, like Tebow was, you
01:21:25.380 know, very high profile in college, but
01:21:27.100 was never a great NFL quarterback.
01:21:28.480 I mean, Carson Wentz is looking at, you
01:21:30.360 know, he's in the conversation for
01:21:32.220 MVP this year so far.
01:21:35.060 So it's I don't know if it's
01:21:37.420 partially because Tebow was also a
01:21:39.320 divisive player and that a lot of
01:21:42.400 people hated him.
01:21:43.120 A lot of people loved him as a
01:21:44.120 player.
01:21:44.820 So they maybe they took that and
01:21:47.200 pushed it over into the religious
01:21:48.920 sort of sphere.
01:21:50.500 where Wentz is, you know, pretty
01:21:53.720 much so far universally adored.
01:21:56.280 I mean, these things can change any
01:21:57.280 time Tiger Woods was once
01:21:58.520 universally adored.
01:21:59.860 But I mean, you know, he's pretty
01:22:01.140 much universally adored right now.
01:22:02.500 So if he starts sucking really
01:22:04.840 badly, maybe people will start
01:22:06.500 bringing this up more often.
01:22:08.020 I don't know.
01:22:08.880 Have you ever heard this happen in
01:22:10.120 a I mean.
01:22:11.920 Where where players are being
01:22:13.340 baptized in a pool.
01:22:14.580 I had never heard of it before.
01:22:16.080 And this is not the first time
01:22:17.320 apparently.
01:22:17.980 I mean, they are, you know,
01:22:19.820 that's amazing.
01:22:21.160 It is amazing.
01:22:21.680 And they're sharing pictures of
01:22:22.780 it on social media.
01:22:23.780 Johnson's short.
01:22:24.380 That's where that picture came
01:22:25.380 from.
01:22:25.660 If you haven't seen it, I think it
01:22:26.640 was on the blaze.
01:22:27.460 I know it was on faith wire, a
01:22:28.380 couple of other sites that had
01:22:29.340 the actual picture of them, 15
01:22:33.520 people around it.
01:22:34.240 I think it was like six or seven
01:22:35.120 players, a bunch of coaches as a
01:22:36.880 guy's getting baptized in the pool
01:22:38.180 before a game in a hotel.
01:22:40.540 I mean, it's nuts.
01:22:42.560 It's cool, though.
01:22:43.440 It's really cool.
01:22:44.620 It's really cool.
01:22:45.500 It's just.
01:22:46.020 Crazy in this flashback, I mean,
01:22:50.260 it's just like, you know, that
01:22:51.320 that just you don't see that and
01:22:54.380 you don't see that with celebrities
01:22:55.980 and you don't see that with sports
01:22:58.920 figures.
01:22:59.660 You just, you know, you'll hear
01:23:01.320 people.
01:23:01.740 I want to thank Harvey Weinstein
01:23:03.460 and God.
01:23:05.540 Yeah, because I mean, they did an
01:23:06.720 analysis of the Oscar speeches and
01:23:08.420 legitimately Harvey Weinstein was
01:23:10.320 thanked more than God in the
01:23:11.760 speeches.
01:23:12.340 Well, I believe that it's
01:23:14.060 incredible, though.
01:23:15.140 I mean, you look at this.
01:23:15.860 I mean, Wentz is there talking
01:23:17.460 about how he's talking about how
01:23:19.260 he's going to share this stuff
01:23:20.380 more publicly.
01:23:21.160 And he has this whole charity,
01:23:23.180 which is audience of one, it's
01:23:24.620 called.
01:23:25.560 And it's about he went to Haiti and
01:23:27.400 did these, you know, did a sermon
01:23:28.940 in Haiti to people there.
01:23:30.380 And he's like, wait a minute, if I
01:23:31.060 can go if I can fly across the
01:23:32.160 world or, you know, a long flight to
01:23:33.860 Haiti and do a sermon there, why am
01:23:36.840 I not doing this here with people
01:23:38.080 that I know?
01:23:39.420 And so it's a really cool thing.
01:23:40.480 And at the other side, you have the
01:23:41.440 Colin Kaepernick thing.
01:23:42.200 He's suing the NFL.
01:23:43.100 And, you know, I realized this
01:23:45.460 yesterday.
01:23:46.420 People forget that Colin Kaepernick,
01:23:48.620 he was the first one to do this in
01:23:50.020 the NFL.
01:23:51.020 However, he wasn't the only one who
01:23:52.440 did it on his own team.
01:23:53.420 Even that first week, Eric Reid is
01:23:55.380 another player who was on the 49ers
01:23:57.560 and knelt next to him.
01:23:59.060 And all the pictures, every picture
01:24:00.700 of Kaepernick from that time shows him
01:24:02.460 kneeling next to Eric Reid.
01:24:04.360 Eric Reid was also on the field.
01:24:06.360 Eric Reid was also kneeling right next
01:24:07.860 to Colin Kaepernick.
01:24:08.540 Eric Reid was protesting the same
01:24:10.660 way, at the same time, with the same
01:24:13.320 skin color.
01:24:14.540 Yet, Eric Reid is still on the San
01:24:16.920 Francisco 49ers because he is an
01:24:19.400 average player.
01:24:21.060 He's not even a good player.
01:24:22.420 He's an average player.
01:24:24.100 What are you saying there?
01:24:25.420 Colin Kaepernick sucks!
01:24:26.840 Earlier today, I read something from
01:24:38.060 Facebook from a Hollywood writer that
01:24:41.000 said, shame on all of us.
01:24:42.860 We all knew.
01:24:44.380 That was the name of it.
01:24:46.180 Everyone effing knew.
01:24:48.400 And he said, I hang my head in shame
01:24:52.100 today because I didn't say anything.
01:24:53.980 And it's because Harvey treated me well,
01:24:56.840 but I knew it.
01:24:57.960 He said, I didn't know about the rapes
01:24:59.260 or any of that.
01:24:59.940 He said, but I knew the guy was a
01:25:01.160 disgusting pig, but we never said
01:25:03.540 anything about it.
01:25:04.440 And he said, nobody did.
01:25:06.140 But we all knew.
01:25:07.320 So let's stop this pretense that we
01:25:09.900 didn't know.
01:25:11.320 I found something that is that is
01:25:14.060 going around that is also viral.
01:25:16.340 This is from Joe Biden.
01:25:17.540 And here's Joe Biden giving a speech
01:25:22.680 at an anti-violence organization,
01:25:26.820 and he's using teleprompter.
01:25:30.180 And at first, it feels pretty legitimate.
01:25:33.320 You're like, wow, he's got a lot of fire
01:25:34.540 on this.
01:25:35.400 And then you start watching his eyes and
01:25:37.240 you realize he's reading a teleprompter.
01:25:40.220 And I want you to hear this.
01:25:42.620 Maybe he really does mean this, but let's
01:25:45.000 have a discussion about Joe Biden.
01:25:46.360 After you hear what he said about
01:25:48.540 Weinstein takes courage to speak out.
01:25:54.600 But these women in Hollywood speaking
01:25:56.800 out now did it to save other women
01:25:59.820 from similar abuse.
01:26:01.680 This disgusting behavior, at least in
01:26:05.620 the party of heart on the part of
01:26:07.120 Harvey Weinstein, has been brought to
01:26:09.260 an abrupt and justifiable end.
01:26:11.800 But it's long past time.
01:26:14.080 For the powerful men in Hollywood
01:26:18.720 to speak up, to be strong enough
01:26:22.940 to say something, because silence is
01:26:27.720 complicity.
01:26:28.480 Now, Joe, aren't you the one that we have
01:26:42.720 video of all the time saying, why don't
01:26:49.660 you come on over here?
01:26:50.920 Give me a little hug.
01:26:51.940 Give me a little sugar.
01:26:52.860 I mean, pulling women onto his lap, right?
01:26:55.820 Being wildly inappropriate.
01:26:58.580 Yes.
01:26:59.060 Very awkward.
01:26:59.960 People seem to be put off by good old Joe
01:27:02.520 pretty often.
01:27:04.700 Yeah.
01:27:05.920 I'm I'm wondering how
01:27:09.080 that one's going to work.
01:27:10.520 And he gave such a passionate speech
01:27:16.260 there that I wonder if there is
01:27:18.960 anything about Joe Biden, because
01:27:21.120 we've heard the rumors before.
01:27:23.380 And if you if there is anything, I'm
01:27:26.100 wondering if anyone has the courage to
01:27:27.880 say you unbelievable hypocrite.
01:27:30.520 Because it was quite a message of when
01:27:37.440 men have power, they should never wield
01:27:40.660 it over a younger woman and make her
01:27:43.180 feel uncomfortable.
01:27:44.660 I mean, not only is Biden, you know,
01:27:48.280 historically, eternally creepy with
01:27:51.860 people as he interacts with them.
01:27:54.260 I mean, he also was a huge, obviously,
01:27:55.600 supporter of of Bill Clinton as
01:27:59.500 Ted Kennedy of all sorts of, you
01:28:02.880 know, sordid characters over the
01:28:04.960 years, you know, and not to mention
01:28:07.480 took tons of cash, right?
01:28:09.160 I mean, you know, from people like
01:28:10.600 Weinstein.
01:28:11.540 I mean, Weinstein, the report I saw
01:28:13.360 today was that he actually donated to
01:28:15.600 to the Clinton Legal Defense Fund back
01:28:20.480 in the day for the the sexual
01:28:24.680 harassment litigation that was going
01:28:28.880 on against Bill.
01:28:31.180 You know, this is this is something
01:28:33.520 that has been, you know, there.
01:28:36.200 It's been present within this party.
01:28:37.660 And I mean, it's in all society, but
01:28:39.500 you can't sit here and act like, you
01:28:42.480 know, you're this you're standing up
01:28:43.860 for women when they've acted the way
01:28:45.200 they have.
01:28:45.840 I mean, you know, all they can do is
01:28:47.820 is is confess.
01:28:49.740 There are Democrats now that are
01:28:52.320 starting to come out against the
01:28:55.340 Clintons.
01:28:55.860 Can you please play the cut Democrat
01:28:57.520 rips Clintons for keeping Harvey
01:28:59.100 money?
01:28:59.600 I work for Bill Clinton.
01:29:01.480 I'm still fond of Bill Clinton and
01:29:03.380 certainly have been supportive of the
01:29:05.560 goals of the foundation.
01:29:07.200 But this is dumb.
01:29:08.700 This is just dumb.
01:29:10.020 Give the money back.
01:29:11.440 Weinstein is totally discredited, as
01:29:13.840 he should be.
01:29:14.440 This isn't an issue of politics.
01:29:16.340 The man's a predator.
01:29:17.580 You took money from him.
01:29:18.660 Give it back, period.
01:29:19.740 I don't know if I mean, if they
01:29:25.040 try to play this game of we had no
01:29:28.260 idea.
01:29:29.800 I have a feeling there is a new
01:29:34.140 sense of righteousness of people
01:29:36.500 coming out and saying, you know what?
01:29:37.740 I'm going to be completely
01:29:38.520 transparent.
01:29:40.160 Yeah, I did know.
01:29:41.240 And I knew nothing.
01:29:42.020 And I didn't say anything about it.
01:29:43.460 I didn't know about the rape.
01:29:44.400 But I did know.
01:29:46.000 I mean, I don't know what I would have
01:29:47.200 done.
01:29:49.020 But I did know there's no way
01:29:50.980 the Secret Service
01:29:52.740 is they're sending the
01:29:54.920 president's daughter
01:29:56.300 to Harvey Weinstein.
01:29:58.580 Nobody on the Secret Service
01:29:59.880 said, hey, we want you to know
01:30:01.700 there are threats of
01:30:03.620 predator behavior.
01:30:04.660 That's the Secret Service's job.
01:30:08.840 They didn't get any kind of briefing.
01:30:11.460 Come on.
01:30:12.320 That's weird.
01:30:12.780 That's the first time I.
01:30:13.700 Of course.
01:30:14.480 I've never heard anybody bring that up.
01:30:16.120 Of course.
01:30:17.080 But I mean, how do they miss that?
01:30:18.720 If everyone in Hollywood knows,
01:30:20.400 how can they possibly allow
01:30:21.880 Malia to go work for this guy?
01:30:24.760 I mean, that is
01:30:25.300 that's a real oversight there
01:30:27.020 because mom and dad knew
01:30:28.440 that he was really, really powerful
01:30:30.540 and mom and dad knew
01:30:31.440 he's not going to do anything
01:30:32.400 with my daughter.
01:30:34.500 I mean, it's probably true, right?
01:30:37.160 I mean, I'm sure Harvey Weinstein
01:30:39.020 wouldn't think he'd get away with that.
01:30:40.820 But still, I mean, it's not something
01:30:42.140 that I would risk as a dad.
01:30:43.620 I don't care how powerful I am.
01:30:45.260 You risk that?
01:30:46.320 No, I wouldn't.
01:30:47.300 No, not at all.
01:30:48.280 Not at all.
01:30:48.860 Not at all.
01:30:49.560 If you travel for business,
01:30:51.060 you know that it's a game
01:30:51.960 of winning losses
01:30:52.660 and opening the overhead bin
01:30:54.380 and finding room for your carry-on.
01:30:56.060 I mean, that's a win.
01:30:56.880 That's like, holy cow.
01:30:57.960 Look at that.
01:30:58.440 It's a huge win.
01:30:59.100 One I never get.
01:31:00.180 It seems like.
01:31:01.160 You're staying in a hotel.

01:32:41.140 Glenn Beck.
01:32:42.680 Glenn Beck.
01:32:51.420 Those of us at the Glenn Beck program,
01:32:54.060 Mercury Studios and The Blaze
01:32:55.980 would ask that you would pray
01:32:57.400 for Dana Lash and her family.
01:33:00.100 They have had to move out of their home
01:33:03.260 and move to a new place
01:33:07.200 because of security threats.
01:33:08.880 And we ask for the veil of protection
01:33:14.180 over her and her family.
01:33:15.840 The security threats are numerous
01:33:18.640 and relentless from the left on her
01:33:22.520 because she represents
01:33:23.900 the National Rifle Association.
01:33:26.640 And they have now come after her children as well.
01:33:31.040 So please say a prayer for Dana Lash
01:33:34.480 and she will be hopefully on the air today
01:33:39.660 at 6 o'clock on her usual time
01:33:42.720 at TheBlaze.com.
01:33:44.940 Canadian man who was recently freed
01:33:46.780 after being held in Afghanistan
01:33:48.920 by Taliban-tied kidnappers.
01:33:50.780 He was held for five years.
01:33:56.520 He said that when his captors
01:34:02.260 came in to talk to him,
01:34:07.900 he thought that they were trying to screw with his mind.
01:34:10.900 Maybe it was a joke,
01:34:13.420 but he couldn't figure out
01:34:15.120 why they would tell him such crazy things.
01:34:19.580 He had been in captivity
01:34:22.060 and held by them for five years.
01:34:27.700 They at one point came in and said,
01:34:30.200 Donald Trump is president.
01:34:34.260 And he didn't believe it.
01:34:35.680 He thought that stuff.
01:34:37.460 What is the game they're playing?
01:34:38.880 Can you imagine?
01:34:39.340 Why would they tell me that?
01:34:40.900 What do they want me to believe?
01:34:43.180 Who really is the president?
01:34:44.800 Because it's not Donald Trump.
01:34:46.160 Who do they want me?
01:34:47.260 Why would they tell me that?
01:34:49.040 What information are they?
01:34:50.260 I don't know who won the season
01:34:52.700 in The Apprentice.
01:34:53.600 I don't know.
01:34:55.320 He didn't really,
01:34:56.220 he didn't realize it
01:34:56.880 until he was actually free.
01:34:57.940 Yeah, until he was free.
01:34:58.560 And he was like,
01:34:59.180 holy cow, really?
01:35:02.020 Yeah, pretty amazing.
01:35:04.640 Yeah, pretty amazing.
01:35:06.240 Also, another story comes out
01:35:07.700 about Carrie Fisher.
01:35:09.000 Heather Ross,
01:35:11.280 who works in the film industry,
01:35:12.380 told Carrie Fisher
01:35:13.380 about how an unnamed producer
01:35:15.380 sexually assaulted her
01:35:16.660 in his car.
01:35:18.780 She reacted.
01:35:20.020 She stopped
01:35:20.700 and got a box
01:35:22.380 from Tiffany,
01:35:23.120 one of those little blue boxes
01:35:24.300 with the white bow on it.
01:35:27.020 Then she went to the grocery store
01:35:28.720 and then she wrapped it
01:35:31.460 in a little blue box
01:35:32.220 and delivered it to his house.
01:35:33.920 He apparently had forced himself
01:35:39.420 on her in a car
01:35:40.660 making an excuse to pull over
01:35:42.760 then reached over
01:35:43.480 and climbed on top of her.
01:35:44.940 He said,
01:35:45.220 you'll never make a movie
01:35:46.220 in my town
01:35:47.020 when she said,
01:35:48.500 I don't want you to do this.
01:35:50.240 And he said,
01:35:51.160 get the F out of my car,
01:35:52.400 kicked her out.
01:35:53.420 Two weeks later,
01:35:56.140 Carrie went to his office
01:36:00.260 and personally delivered
01:36:01.920 a Tiffany box
01:36:03.460 wrapped in the white bow
01:36:05.340 with a cow tongue in it.
01:36:11.620 She said,
01:36:12.720 if you ever touch
01:36:13.800 my darling Heather
01:36:15.140 or any other woman again,
01:36:17.800 the next delivery
01:36:18.860 will be something of yours
01:36:20.100 in a much smaller box.
01:36:21.820 we miss Carrie Fisher.
01:36:30.660 Glenn Beck.
01:36:40.060 You're listening
01:36:40.740 to the Glenn Beck program.
01:36:42.500 Pat is here.
01:36:43.880 He joins us.
01:36:44.840 His show Unleashed
01:36:46.520 immediately follows this program
01:36:48.540 on the Blaze Radio Network.
01:36:49.780 You can find that
01:36:50.360 at theblaze.com
01:36:51.400 or glenbeck.com
01:36:52.200 and Pat is here
01:36:53.960 is dressed up as
01:36:55.060 I think a sexy hot nurse
01:36:57.260 for Halloween.
01:36:58.000 I'm not really sure.
01:36:59.340 You would probably believe that
01:37:00.680 but no,
01:37:01.300 this is just my natural.
01:37:02.500 Really?
01:37:03.400 That's unbelievable.
01:37:04.100 I can't help myself.
01:37:04.920 The cleavage is
01:37:06.160 impressive.
01:37:07.920 It's low and plunging.
01:37:09.500 It is.
01:37:10.320 Anyway,
01:37:10.860 I'm worried in this Weinstein era
01:37:12.120 that we should be talking
01:37:12.920 like that about Pat.
01:37:13.940 That's for sure.
01:37:14.480 You're right.
01:37:14.900 Sorry, Pat.
01:37:15.500 I didn't mean to.
01:37:16.200 I don't want any flashbacks.
01:37:16.880 I didn't mean to.
01:37:17.660 Oh, man.
01:37:18.460 Oof.
01:37:19.660 Have you guys been
01:37:20.560 boning up on your
01:37:23.080 cultural appropriation rules
01:37:24.760 for Halloween?
01:37:25.760 No, I have not.
01:37:27.200 No.
01:37:27.520 Because university students
01:37:29.220 are all over the country.
01:37:31.100 You know,
01:37:31.340 gone are the days
01:37:32.340 when college students
01:37:33.340 can dress up
01:37:34.000 without fear
01:37:34.480 of being reported
01:37:35.320 to a bias response team.
01:37:37.960 A bias response team.
01:37:40.160 Now,
01:37:40.300 when they respond,
01:37:41.080 I guess it's all like SWAT
01:37:42.180 and they break into your party
01:37:43.520 and start shooting.
01:37:44.300 Do they have the siren?
01:37:45.720 Do they have the sirens
01:37:46.580 that go?
01:37:48.620 Yes.
01:37:49.200 Yeah.
01:37:49.400 Okay.
01:37:49.680 Yes.
01:37:49.980 They're very European.
01:37:50.580 So you can tell them
01:37:50.700 a difference between
01:37:51.600 the police
01:37:53.180 and the European police.
01:37:54.620 Yes.
01:37:55.600 Unacceptable costumes
01:37:56.580 listed on a University
01:37:57.640 of St. Thomas
01:37:58.300 diversity flyer
01:37:59.700 are,
01:38:00.760 quote,
01:38:01.320 wearing Native American
01:38:02.240 headdresses,
01:38:03.280 dressing up as a Mexican
01:38:04.260 by wearing a sombrero,
01:38:05.920 dressing as a geisha,
01:38:07.080 or any form of blackface.
01:38:08.720 Obviously.
01:38:09.920 Cultural appropriation
01:38:11.120 is defined as the act
01:38:13.040 of taking intellectual
01:38:14.040 and cultural expressions
01:38:15.300 from a culture
01:38:16.040 that's not your own.
01:38:17.760 It's not okay.
01:38:18.960 Wait.
01:38:19.760 Say that again.
01:38:21.500 I'm just getting ready
01:38:22.620 for St. Patrick's Day,
01:38:23.900 so I just want to make sure.
01:38:25.160 How dare you?
01:38:26.360 Wear green?
01:38:27.140 No.
01:38:27.980 No.
01:38:28.280 Cultural appropriation
01:38:29.400 is defined as the act
01:38:31.200 of taking intellectual
01:38:32.460 and cultural expressions
01:38:33.800 from a culture
01:38:34.440 that is not your own.
01:38:35.720 So I can't,
01:38:36.600 I can go to,
01:38:38.340 I can go to a beer fest,
01:38:39.960 but you guys can't.
01:38:41.920 Right.
01:38:42.400 This would really limit
01:38:43.140 a lot of restaurants'
01:38:44.940 ability to sell their products.
01:38:46.680 It would be the cure
01:38:47.540 for alcoholism
01:38:48.400 the rest of the year,
01:38:49.360 though,
01:38:49.540 because if you're appropriating
01:38:51.380 Irish culture
01:38:52.820 by drinking yourself
01:38:54.240 into a coma,
01:38:55.560 Irish already have that down.
01:38:57.080 That's part of their culture.
01:38:57.800 And you can say that
01:38:58.340 because you're Irish.
01:38:58.620 And I can say that
01:38:59.240 because I'm Irish.
01:39:00.300 Thank goodness somebody said it.
01:39:01.880 Yes.
01:39:02.200 It had to be said.
01:39:03.500 If you're,
01:39:04.020 if Halloween,
01:39:04.860 if I remember correctly,
01:39:06.100 is a holiday
01:39:07.600 in which you dress up
01:39:09.000 as something
01:39:10.620 you are not.
01:39:12.560 Right.
01:39:12.680 That's,
01:39:12.840 that's the fundamental
01:39:14.340 principle
01:39:15.340 of the holiday.
01:39:17.180 No, no, no, no.
01:39:18.740 So anything
01:39:19.600 you would dress up as
01:39:21.100 by definition
01:39:22.760 would be something
01:39:23.800 you are not,
01:39:24.580 whether it's a football player
01:39:26.180 or a superhero
01:39:27.800 or a vampire.
01:39:30.080 It's always going to be
01:39:30.600 something that's...
01:39:30.700 Can you hear the hate
01:39:31.200 in this?
01:39:32.060 Can you hear the hate
01:39:33.200 dripping out of him?
01:39:34.200 The point is
01:39:34.640 it's an appropriation
01:39:36.220 based holiday.
01:39:37.640 You're like a fountain of hate.
01:39:39.380 If that was true,
01:39:40.580 the,
01:39:40.900 then the,
01:39:42.160 you know,
01:39:43.120 the,
01:39:43.320 the only person
01:39:44.000 that would be allowed
01:39:44.560 to dress as a witch
01:39:45.380 would be...
01:39:46.660 No, no.
01:39:47.140 See,
01:39:47.320 I don't think
01:39:47.660 I can finish that joke.
01:39:48.540 No, I don't think
01:39:48.560 you should definitely not.
01:39:49.120 I can't.
01:39:49.880 No, you definitely should not.
01:39:50.820 A guide put out
01:39:51.840 by Northern Arizona's
01:39:53.340 University Housing
01:39:54.900 and Residence Life
01:39:56.160 warns against
01:39:57.200 African inspired get-ups,
01:39:59.220 a Pocahontas costume,
01:40:01.140 Asian rice hats,
01:40:02.940 and more.
01:40:03.680 Wait,
01:40:03.880 what's an Asian rice hat?
01:40:05.120 I have no idea.
01:40:06.300 Is it made out of rice?
01:40:07.260 I don't know.
01:40:07.660 Does it shield you from rice?
01:40:09.520 I don't know.
01:40:11.800 I wish I hadn't.
01:40:13.000 Could you look that up, please?
01:40:14.120 I would like a picture
01:40:15.020 of an Asian rice hat.
01:40:16.980 I may have one.
01:40:18.200 Members of the
01:40:18.840 University of Utah's
01:40:19.840 Student Affairs
01:40:20.440 Diversity Council
01:40:21.500 state,
01:40:22.940 as you get ready
01:40:23.660 for Halloween,
01:40:24.400 here are some tips
01:40:25.200 you can put into practice.
01:40:26.740 Think to yourself,
01:40:28.680 does the actual name
01:40:29.800 on the costume packaging
01:40:30.960 say tribal or traditional?
01:40:32.360 Does the costume
01:40:34.180 include race-related
01:40:36.300 hair or accessories
01:40:37.640 like dreadlocks,
01:40:38.840 afros,
01:40:39.540 cornrows,
01:40:40.280 or a headdress?
01:40:41.480 Does the costume
01:40:42.660 play into racial stereotypes?
01:40:44.520 If you answered yes
01:40:45.780 to any of these questions,
01:40:48.160 rethink your costume
01:40:49.220 and try again.
01:40:50.360 So I couldn't go as Dracula
01:40:52.180 because the Transylvanians,
01:40:54.820 which...
01:40:55.140 They'll be pissed.
01:40:55.720 They will be pissed.
01:40:56.460 And they will be hurt
01:40:57.240 and they will be offended.
01:40:58.280 Correct.
01:40:58.560 You can't dress as a witch
01:41:01.240 because there are real witches.
01:41:03.460 Oh, Wiccans will be
01:41:04.540 dramatically offended.
01:41:06.180 You can't dress up
01:41:07.480 as dead people
01:41:08.180 because you're not dead.
01:41:09.520 This is kind of my thing,
01:41:10.720 though,
01:41:10.900 to all of these
01:41:11.640 rulemaking university students.
01:41:13.580 I say ask yourself
01:41:15.300 two questions.
01:41:16.700 One,
01:41:18.160 who died and made you
01:41:19.220 cultural czar of Halloween?
01:41:21.100 And two,
01:41:22.300 is this still America?
01:41:24.600 If the answer
01:41:25.100 to these questions
01:41:25.860 is no one,
01:41:27.740 and yes,
01:41:28.980 shove these rules
01:41:29.860 up your rectal cavity
01:41:30.840 and shut your pie holes!
01:41:33.320 But I'd really like
01:41:38.580 to have a discussion
01:41:39.960 about that, Pat.
01:41:43.180 Maybe you wouldn't be
01:41:44.100 the one to discuss it with.
01:41:45.440 Maybe not.
01:41:46.580 Maybe not.
01:41:49.920 I don't think
01:41:50.680 there's any discussing
01:41:51.360 to be had.
01:41:52.380 I don't think so.
01:41:53.200 I think it was pretty clear.
01:41:54.640 Plenty more discussion
01:41:55.740 on this coming up
01:41:56.440 on Pat Gray Unleashed
01:41:57.600 on the Blaze Radio
01:41:58.540 and Television Networks.
01:42:00.020 You can check it out
01:42:00.580 at theblaze.com.
01:42:03.320 All righty.
01:42:06.080 Let me tell you
01:42:06.660 about our sponsor
01:42:07.540 this half hour.
01:42:08.460 It's Mercury Real Estate.
01:42:10.240 You want your home
01:42:11.580 sold on time
01:42:13.840 and for the most money
01:42:14.940 without any kind
01:42:15.920 of excuse?
01:42:17.100 Well,
01:42:17.760 then what you need
01:42:18.520 is
01:42:19.000 realestateagentsitrust.com.
01:42:23.140 realestateagentsitrust.com
01:42:24.300 is a group
01:42:25.140 of hand-selected
01:42:27.500 real estate agents
01:42:29.260 that have
01:42:30.480 the same values
01:42:31.520 that we try to have
01:42:33.300 if you're listening
01:42:34.200 to this program
01:42:35.100 and we're on the program.
01:42:36.840 You know,
01:42:37.020 we talk about
01:42:37.860 certain principles
01:42:39.060 and ethics
01:42:40.260 and the way
01:42:40.780 we want to be treated
01:42:41.940 and the way
01:42:43.140 we want to treat others.
01:42:44.740 The people that are
01:42:45.840 these real estate agents,
01:42:47.240 they all,
01:42:47.600 the first thing is
01:42:48.400 they're all listeners
01:42:49.340 to the show,
01:42:49.940 so they're all fans
01:42:50.620 of the show.
01:42:51.120 And then we look
01:42:52.880 at their track record
01:42:53.980 and we look at
01:42:55.600 what they are
01:42:57.120 as a real estate agent,
01:42:58.200 what their track record is,
01:42:59.540 how their sales go,
01:43:00.720 what their customer
01:43:01.840 service policies are like.
01:43:03.560 They're all fully vetted
01:43:05.180 and handpicked
01:43:06.060 by my team
01:43:06.820 for their knowledge,
01:43:07.600 their skill,
01:43:08.260 their track record.
01:43:09.180 So when you need
01:43:10.300 to sell your house
01:43:10.980 or buy a house,
01:43:12.400 you can go
01:43:13.100 to realestateagentsitrust.com
01:43:15.000 and you can put in
01:43:16.840 your zip code
01:43:17.340 and your information
01:43:17.940 and they will
01:43:18.760 immediately contact you
01:43:20.280 and line you up
01:43:21.640 with a real estate agent
01:43:23.040 or maybe even a couple
01:43:24.000 and then you can decide
01:43:25.480 which one.
01:43:26.920 But these are the people
01:43:28.200 that will actually
01:43:29.840 get your home sold
01:43:30.980 on time
01:43:31.840 and for the most
01:43:33.140 amount of money.
01:43:34.640 Really good people
01:43:35.740 that will take the stress
01:43:37.100 out of home buying
01:43:39.240 and home selling.
01:43:42.260 realestateagentsitrust.com
01:43:43.720 Go there now.
01:43:45.860 realestateagentsitrust.com
01:43:47.460 Glenn Beck
01:43:51.460 Glenn Beck
01:43:57.880 So let's take some
01:44:00.520 audio clips
01:44:01.300 that are unrelated
01:44:02.820 and see if we can
01:44:04.080 make sense of them.
01:44:04.940 Here is Bibi Netanyahu
01:44:06.320 on the focus
01:44:07.300 of the media.
01:44:09.060 I think that how
01:44:10.140 a country treats
01:44:11.020 religious minorities
01:44:11.960 is a very good indicator
01:44:14.400 of how it will treat
01:44:15.960 its other citizens
01:44:17.100 and its neighbors.
01:44:18.800 So today I have a
01:44:20.000 simple request
01:44:21.040 for the media outlets
01:44:22.640 in this room.
01:44:24.300 Dedicate this week
01:44:25.560 to highlighting
01:44:26.900 the plight of the
01:44:27.800 countless Christians
01:44:28.700 suffering under Iran.
01:44:31.120 Profile the brave
01:44:32.740 Christian leaders
01:44:33.700 jailed for practicing
01:44:35.300 their faith.
01:44:36.740 Sit with the families
01:44:37.940 of the school teachers
01:44:39.520 of the school teachers
01:44:39.540 jailed for years
01:44:40.600 merely for converting
01:44:42.200 to Christianity.
01:44:44.100 Call out the lie
01:44:45.320 and the lies
01:44:46.820 of President Rouhani
01:44:47.920 who promised in 2013
01:44:50.220 that all religions
01:44:52.180 would quote
01:44:53.040 feel justice in Iran
01:44:54.980 while so many Christians
01:44:56.780 live there
01:44:57.600 in constant terror.
01:44:58.720 This is something
01:45:00.860 that we're going
01:45:02.260 to be getting
01:45:02.640 into shortly.
01:45:05.800 We're trying
01:45:06.620 to see
01:45:08.860 how things
01:45:09.500 settle down
01:45:10.180 and unfortunately
01:45:10.720 I don't think
01:45:11.280 it's going to go
01:45:11.840 in the right way.
01:45:13.680 You're going to see
01:45:14.500 in the news
01:45:14.980 in the next few weeks
01:45:15.800 that ISIS
01:45:17.800 is over.
01:45:18.700 That Raqqa
01:45:19.260 was the last
01:45:20.140 real stronghold
01:45:21.040 of ISIS.
01:45:22.560 Well,
01:45:22.980 what they're not
01:45:23.600 telling you
01:45:24.060 is that Iran
01:45:25.160 is plowing
01:45:27.460 over all of it.
01:45:30.380 Iran
01:45:31.020 and the Iraqi army
01:45:33.020 have joined forces
01:45:34.820 and they are now
01:45:36.040 going up
01:45:36.700 to the Kurds
01:45:37.560 and there are
01:45:38.820 reports now
01:45:40.640 that the Peshmerga
01:45:41.760 being beheaded
01:45:42.860 by the Iranian soldiers
01:45:45.340 we have
01:45:47.680 in effect
01:45:48.740 I believe
01:45:49.320 given the Middle East
01:45:50.620 over to Iran.
01:45:52.320 and they are
01:45:55.100 going to be
01:45:55.440 on the doorstep
01:45:56.300 of Benjamin Netanyahu
01:45:58.640 in a short
01:45:59.920 period of time
01:46:00.660 but I find
01:46:02.080 it remarkable
01:46:02.840 that it takes
01:46:04.940 a Jewish
01:46:06.220 leader
01:46:06.620 to stand up
01:46:08.580 and say
01:46:09.080 can someone
01:46:10.060 please cover
01:46:11.180 the plight
01:46:11.800 of the Christians
01:46:12.580 in the Middle East.
01:46:14.760 Here's Lady Gaga
01:46:15.980 on our government.
01:46:18.120 So when you say
01:46:19.260 something happened
01:46:19.900 to you that
01:46:20.380 oh, we'll let
01:46:21.120 the government decide.
01:46:22.320 if it happened
01:46:24.220 or not.
01:46:25.460 I don't want
01:46:26.120 to live
01:46:26.380 in a country
01:46:27.220 like that.
01:46:28.280 I mean,
01:46:28.560 I want to be
01:46:29.240 somewhere
01:46:29.780 where when
01:46:30.640 a child says
01:46:31.500 I was raped
01:46:32.240 that every adult
01:46:33.180 in the room
01:46:33.620 says are you okay
01:46:34.400 what happened
01:46:34.960 who was it
01:46:35.500 we want to help you.
01:46:36.540 What were you wearing?
01:46:39.240 Not what were you wearing
01:46:41.080 and what were you doing
01:46:42.040 and did you do
01:46:42.680 anything wrong
01:46:43.380 and were you on drugs
01:46:44.240 and were you drinking
01:46:44.980 and
01:46:45.300 Wait, I don't even
01:46:46.860 understand this.
01:46:48.300 First of all,
01:46:49.100 what do you mean
01:46:49.740 you don't want
01:46:50.420 the government
01:46:50.960 to decide?
01:46:51.800 You mean
01:46:51.980 you don't want
01:46:52.380 a jury
01:46:53.040 to decide?
01:46:54.140 You don't want
01:46:54.400 the legal system?
01:46:55.940 I mean,
01:46:56.180 that's a really
01:46:57.160 scary place
01:46:58.080 to where
01:46:58.460 if somebody
01:46:59.260 can just make
01:46:59.840 an accusation
01:47:00.800 we all bow
01:47:02.820 down to it.
01:47:03.560 I mean,
01:47:03.800 have you ever
01:47:04.100 read The Crucible?
01:47:06.100 That's what
01:47:06.720 that's about.
01:47:08.480 And it's not
01:47:08.880 the two things
01:47:09.940 she wants
01:47:10.380 are not mutually
01:47:10.940 exclusive.
01:47:12.000 The government
01:47:12.380 can decide
01:47:13.160 legal matters
01:47:13.900 as well as
01:47:14.580 we can all say
01:47:15.140 what happened?
01:47:16.080 Are you okay?
01:47:16.960 Can we help?
01:47:17.640 That's not
01:47:18.160 really the government.
01:47:19.180 That's a jury
01:47:19.780 of your peers.
01:47:20.640 I don't want
01:47:21.080 the government
01:47:21.540 to decide that either.
01:47:22.560 I do want
01:47:23.140 a jury
01:47:23.540 of my peers.
01:47:24.880 Yes,
01:47:25.080 it's within
01:47:25.340 the government
01:47:25.800 system,
01:47:26.560 legal system,
01:47:27.500 which I mean
01:47:27.960 has a structure
01:47:29.020 and is one
01:47:29.460 of the few
01:47:30.340 things that's
01:47:31.460 actually supposed
01:47:32.340 to be a government
01:47:33.420 power,
01:47:33.920 at least at some level.
01:47:35.060 But you're right,
01:47:35.460 it's still a jury
01:47:36.020 of your peers
01:47:36.620 and makes the
01:47:37.480 final decision
01:47:38.300 within that framework.
01:47:39.800 Hasn't she been
01:47:40.460 arguing for the
01:47:42.180 government to decide
01:47:43.380 who can get married
01:47:45.080 and who can't?
01:47:46.000 Yeah,
01:47:46.220 absolutely.
01:47:47.300 And who should
01:47:49.760 be paying for
01:47:50.240 birth control
01:47:50.940 and all of that
01:47:52.340 is all government
01:47:53.280 business.
01:47:53.900 But I mean,
01:47:55.520 this is the thing,
01:47:57.320 this is a weird
01:47:57.940 thing we're at
01:47:58.840 right now,
01:47:59.300 which is,
01:47:59.780 it goes back
01:48:00.400 to the Hillary
01:48:00.900 Clinton,
01:48:01.540 every woman
01:48:02.840 should be believed
01:48:03.640 when she makes
01:48:04.180 an accusation,
01:48:05.500 except for obviously
01:48:06.300 the women who
01:48:07.160 were accusing
01:48:08.000 her husband.
01:48:09.720 You know,
01:48:10.120 look,
01:48:10.420 you should be able
01:48:11.160 to be taken
01:48:11.640 seriously.
01:48:12.500 You should not
01:48:12.840 be dismissed
01:48:13.620 if you make a claim.
01:48:14.800 But are we in
01:48:15.260 that place?
01:48:15.940 I mean,
01:48:16.120 I don't know.
01:48:17.020 Certainly right now
01:48:18.040 it seems like
01:48:18.660 that is what
01:48:20.200 everyone's saying
01:48:20.980 online and
01:48:22.400 everyone's saying
01:48:22.780 they've all been
01:48:23.180 through these things
01:48:23.840 and, you know,
01:48:26.140 no one believes
01:48:26.860 them and I hope
01:48:28.240 that's not true.
01:48:29.140 No,
01:48:29.300 Gretchen Carlson
01:48:29.960 has her book
01:48:31.200 out this week,
01:48:32.400 Fierce,
01:48:33.200 and she's the one
01:48:34.780 who first really
01:48:35.900 started this bowl
01:48:36.560 rolling.
01:48:37.300 I mean,
01:48:37.480 if it wasn't for
01:48:37.900 Roger Ailes.
01:48:38.440 Yeah,
01:48:38.900 if it wasn't for
01:48:39.840 her on Roger Ailes,
01:48:41.500 I don't think any
01:48:42.120 of this stuff
01:48:42.620 would have been
01:48:43.160 when going.
01:48:45.180 But she's got
01:48:46.460 a new book out.
01:48:47.380 I'd like to talk
01:48:48.240 to her this week
01:48:49.020 and see what she
01:48:51.680 says.
01:48:53.000 How do we find
01:48:55.100 that place
01:48:55.660 where a woman
01:48:56.240 has a right
01:48:57.400 not to be believed
01:48:58.460 but has a right
01:48:59.600 to be taken
01:49:00.140 seriously
01:49:00.940 and is there
01:49:02.460 a difference?
01:49:03.640 I can't imagine
01:49:04.320 Gretchen Carlson
01:49:05.300 thinks that
01:49:05.980 every woman
01:49:06.840 who makes an
01:49:07.300 accusation
01:49:07.740 automatically
01:49:08.280 is believed.
01:49:09.300 It's a ridiculous
01:49:10.160 standard.
01:49:11.040 It's not an
01:49:11.680 American standard.
01:49:12.620 No.
01:49:12.920 The only place
01:49:13.680 that that standard
01:49:14.620 exists is for
01:49:15.760 guys in like
01:49:17.540 Iran.
01:49:19.240 Right?
01:49:19.400 Like, you know,
01:49:19.980 if there's some
01:49:20.520 that is that's
01:49:21.620 the standard there.
01:49:22.340 The guy just
01:49:22.780 gets believed
01:49:23.280 and the woman
01:49:23.980 is guilty.
01:49:24.440 It takes three
01:49:25.020 witnesses of
01:49:26.000 women.
01:49:26.660 It takes three
01:49:27.660 women witness
01:49:28.640 witnesses to
01:49:30.100 dispute the
01:49:32.020 accused or one
01:49:33.740 guy.
01:49:34.920 So if one guy
01:49:35.560 says he didn't
01:49:36.220 do it.
01:49:36.540 He was with me.
01:49:38.700 Three women
01:49:39.660 have to say I
01:49:40.700 witnessed it
01:49:41.480 firsthand for
01:49:42.420 it to be
01:49:42.740 believed.
01:49:45.140 Let's go to
01:49:46.200 some more
01:49:47.020 unbelievable.
01:49:47.920 Here is
01:49:48.380 Donald Trump
01:49:49.080 and Mitch
01:49:49.980 McConnell
01:49:50.500 yesterday.
01:49:53.060 Same agenda.
01:49:54.140 We are probably
01:49:54.700 now to win
01:49:55.760 elections in
01:49:56.380 November.
01:49:57.500 My goal is
01:49:58.400 the leader of
01:49:59.140 the Republican
01:49:59.620 Party in the
01:50:00.280 Senate is to
01:50:00.860 keep us in
01:50:01.260 the majority.
01:50:02.160 The way you
01:50:02.760 do that is
01:50:03.360 not complicated.
01:50:04.560 You have to
01:50:04.960 nominate people
01:50:05.620 who can actually
01:50:06.200 win because
01:50:06.960 winners make
01:50:08.100 policy and
01:50:08.700 losers go
01:50:09.180 home.
01:50:09.460 We changed
01:50:10.940 the business
01:50:11.340 model in
01:50:11.820 2014.
01:50:13.120 We nominated
01:50:13.860 people who
01:50:14.360 could win
01:50:14.700 everywhere.
01:50:15.240 We took the
01:50:15.640 majority in
01:50:16.160 the Senate.
01:50:17.380 We had one
01:50:18.120 skirmish in
01:50:18.700 2016.
01:50:19.560 We kept the
01:50:20.020 majority in
01:50:20.540 the Senate.
01:50:21.680 So our
01:50:22.340 operating
01:50:22.800 approach will
01:50:23.960 be to
01:50:25.420 support our
01:50:25.920 incumbents
01:50:26.480 and in
01:50:28.460 open seats
01:50:29.200 to seek to
01:50:31.080 help nominate
01:50:31.780 people who
01:50:32.300 can actually
01:50:33.060 win in
01:50:34.180 November.
01:50:35.560 That's my
01:50:36.280 approach.
01:50:37.020 That's the
01:50:37.300 way you keep
01:50:38.500 a governing
01:50:38.860 majority.
01:50:40.180 For what
01:50:41.640 point?
01:50:42.220 To do
01:50:42.920 what?
01:50:43.840 Who cares
01:50:44.280 if you have
01:50:44.540 a majority
01:50:44.940 if you do
01:50:45.300 nothing with
01:50:45.940 it all the
01:50:46.520 time?
01:50:47.300 Give me the
01:50:47.600 Trump cut
01:50:48.040 please.
01:50:51.520 Do you
01:50:52.080 have it
01:50:52.320 Sarah?
01:50:54.600 Trump
01:50:55.100 McConnell
01:50:55.740 same agenda
01:50:56.800 in the
01:50:57.500 press
01:50:57.700 conference.
01:51:01.320 It's
01:51:01.800 for
01:51:02.100 MBH.
01:51:02.840 We are
01:51:02.860 probably
01:51:03.200 now despite
01:51:04.000 what we
01:51:04.640 read we're
01:51:05.400 probably now
01:51:06.100 I think
01:51:06.540 at least as
01:51:07.240 far as I'm
01:51:07.660 concerned closer
01:51:08.420 than ever
01:51:08.860 before and
01:51:10.540 the relationship
01:51:11.420 is very good.
01:51:12.380 We're fighting
01:51:12.760 for the same
01:51:14.680 thing.
01:51:15.100 We're fighting
01:51:15.400 for lower
01:51:15.900 taxes, big
01:51:16.960 tax cuts, the
01:51:17.760 biggest tax
01:51:18.440 cuts in the
01:51:19.380 history of our
01:51:19.920 nation.
01:51:20.640 My relationship
01:51:21.400 with this
01:51:22.240 gentleman is
01:51:23.540 outstanding, has
01:51:25.100 been outstanding.
01:51:25.940 I want to
01:51:27.260 underscore what
01:51:27.780 the president
01:51:28.160 said.
01:51:29.360 We have the
01:51:30.000 same agenda.
01:51:32.240 It's just
01:51:32.860 laughable.
01:51:33.500 I mean nobody
01:51:34.000 including those
01:51:34.820 two believe
01:51:35.420 that.
01:51:36.460 I mean they've
01:51:37.260 been at each
01:51:38.300 other's throats
01:51:38.820 the entire
01:51:39.360 time and then
01:51:40.680 they just go
01:51:41.160 out.
01:51:41.380 I mean it's
01:51:41.680 politics though.
01:51:42.820 They're trying to
01:51:43.580 convince people that
01:51:44.460 these things can
01:51:44.900 happen.
01:51:45.320 McConnell went
01:51:45.840 on when he was
01:51:46.200 talking about
01:51:46.520 the Senate
01:51:47.160 races and he
01:51:47.620 was like well
01:51:48.000 you know
01:51:48.300 Christine O'Donnell
01:51:49.100 is not in the
01:51:49.800 Senate and
01:51:51.160 neither is Todd
01:51:53.260 Akin.
01:51:54.720 And his
01:51:56.800 point is don't
01:51:58.160 nominate these
01:51:59.160 people who are
01:51:59.900 you know I
01:52:01.080 guess his
01:52:02.440 point was don't
01:52:03.200 nominate people
01:52:03.760 who can't win
01:52:04.280 that are too
01:52:04.720 conservative or
01:52:05.400 whatever.
01:52:05.780 Of course he
01:52:06.100 leaves out that
01:52:06.720 Mike Lee's in
01:52:07.340 the Senate and
01:52:07.800 Rand Paul's in
01:52:08.460 the Senate and
01:52:09.720 Ted Cruz is in
01:52:11.640 the Senate and
01:52:12.560 Ben Sasse is in
01:52:14.480 the Senate and
01:52:15.040 Pat Toomey's in
01:52:15.780 the Senate and
01:52:16.600 you know Marco
01:52:17.980 Rubio is in the
01:52:18.780 Senate.
01:52:19.020 All these people
01:52:19.500 came into that
01:52:20.240 idea that remember
01:52:21.720 Marco Rubio ran
01:52:23.180 against Charlie
01:52:24.000 Crist and the
01:52:25.040 establishment wanted
01:52:25.640 Charlie Crist to
01:52:27.080 win.
01:52:28.220 I mean you know
01:52:28.660 you might not
01:52:29.240 think Rubio is the
01:52:29.980 perfect conservative
01:52:30.680 now but I mean
01:52:32.340 think of the
01:52:32.940 definition the
01:52:33.500 difference.
01:52:34.460 Crist then went on
01:52:35.080 to go as an
01:52:35.680 independent and
01:52:36.240 then a Democrat.
01:52:37.900 I mean this guy
01:52:40.560 stood up against
01:52:42.500 all of the good
01:52:44.540 senators that are in
01:52:45.560 the Senate and
01:52:46.880 tried to stop them
01:52:47.800 and now their
01:52:48.740 incumbents he's
01:52:49.400 going to support
01:52:49.840 them.
01:52:50.680 Well if they suck
01:52:51.800 you should support
01:52:52.640 the other one.
01:52:53.700 I'm no fan of
01:52:54.420 Steve Bannon.
01:52:55.080 I'm no fan of
01:52:55.760 Breitbart.
01:52:56.160 I'm not going to
01:52:56.580 love the candidates
01:52:57.380 that he tries to
01:52:58.460 primary some of
01:52:59.840 these people with
01:53:00.500 but that is what
01:53:01.920 primaries are for.
01:53:03.900 Stop acting like
01:53:05.220 it's your birthright
01:53:06.160 to be in the Senate
01:53:06.860 for the entire your
01:53:07.760 entire life.
01:53:08.960 If somebody is going
01:53:10.080 to do a job that is
