00:00:11.640 It is Monday, and we're getting ready to go on tour.
00:00:15.720 Stu and I are actually working late tonight, which is, well, I mean, it's 1.15 this afternoon.
00:00:21.800 On the tour that starts this week.
00:00:25.540 I'm only available to one, by the way.
00:00:27.220 Really?
00:00:27.600 Yeah, sorry.
00:00:28.080 Okay, well, that's when we were supposed to start.
00:00:29.980 I figured it had 15 minutes.
00:00:31.600 Okay, yeah, now I don't have time.
00:00:32.280 It's going to be a good show.
00:00:33.280 It's going to be a good show.
00:00:34.160 It starts, actually, in Richmond, Virginia.
00:00:36.660 Then we are in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
00:00:38.760 Pittsburgh on Saturday.
00:00:40.280 Something really special happening in Pittsburgh.
00:00:42.200 In fact, all of the proceeds.
00:00:44.160 I'm going to donate all of the night's earnings to the Jewish community that has been so hard hit.
00:00:51.420 And then on Sunday, we're going to Cleveland, Ohio.
00:00:54.220 So it's the week before the election, and actually the election is still going on right now.
00:01:00.360 People are voting.
00:01:01.460 But we have a lot to say and a lot of fun and some things that I think you're going to be able to take away for your kids.
00:01:08.340 You can bring your kids.
00:01:09.320 It's age-appropriate for them as well.
00:01:11.600 All right.
00:01:11.840 Today's podcast, by the way, get your tickets at glenbeck.com slash tour.
00:01:16.100 Today's podcast.
00:01:17.720 Look into what happened in Pittsburgh.
00:01:19.740 Yeah.
00:01:20.020 Quite a bit.
00:01:20.940 The media reaction to it.
00:01:22.800 What has been the, what are the right things to think about in a moment like this?
00:01:26.860 Because it's not, it's certainly not what we're doing.
00:01:29.600 Yeah, there was a, there was a pullout.
00:01:31.160 We also hit this that, you know, America's ready for a third party, which I'm not sure I believe.
00:01:36.160 Uh, and that we don't agree on values, but all the things listed were not values.
00:01:41.320 None of those were values or principles.
00:01:43.040 They were all politics.
00:01:44.800 So we wanted to say, all right, how do we look at these things?
00:01:49.060 How do we look at the, the issues of the day and American values?
00:01:53.980 Are the answers even worth finding?
00:01:57.560 Is America and the West worth saving?
00:02:00.620 That's a big question, apparently.
00:02:02.280 Uh, and, uh, we also go into some of the election stuff that's coming up, uh, the latest polls.
00:02:08.700 What are they showing us as we get closer, uh, to the actual election day?
00:02:13.920 And it looks like it's starting to shift back again towards the Democrats just a little bit.
00:02:18.740 But that's all explained on today's podcast.
00:02:27.840 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.
00:02:32.280 It's Monday, October 29th.
00:02:36.840 Brickhouse, uh, you know, Brickhouse Nutrition is a great company because they, uh, they decided,
00:02:41.140 you know what, your mom told you that you're supposed to eat your vegetables.
00:02:45.880 And we know you're not going to do it because you're a guy and you're just going to, you know,
00:02:49.200 I know I hate it.
00:02:50.520 I hate it.
00:02:51.400 I hate it.
00:02:52.020 I hate it.
00:02:52.680 Yeah.
00:02:53.020 Everybody does, but you don't have to hate it anymore because of Field of Greens.
00:02:56.280 Field of Greens, I give it to you.
00:02:57.520 This is a nice little, like, I don't know how to explain it exactly, but you take a couple spoonfuls,
00:03:00.900 you put it into a smoothie or whatever you're eating or drinking, gets you all the nutrients
00:03:04.740 that you need with your vegetables and you don't have to actually eat the vegetables.
00:03:09.000 I love this.
00:03:10.040 It's a hall pass.
00:03:10.640 I love this.
00:03:11.280 A vegetable hall pass.
00:03:12.340 Yes.
00:03:12.600 Uh, go to, uh, BrickHouseGlenn.com.

00:03:27.900 The promo code is Glenn for 15% off.
00:03:30.180 Back with the radio show in just a moment.
00:03:31.680 Glenn, back.
00:03:33.800 I want to start with a story of a guy named Gregory.
00:03:36.840 He was a musician.
00:03:38.180 He always considered himself a musician first, a soldier second.
00:03:42.660 He was always the brunt of the jokes in his combat unit.
00:03:48.380 But no one was laughing that day.
00:03:53.260 Gregory's unit was in the Soviet Red Army and he had done the unthinkable while at the Battle of Stalingrad.
00:04:01.240 Battle of Stalingrad was one of the worst battles of all time, but they had survived.
00:04:08.180 Now, that was really not only his story, but the eternal and tragic story of his entire people.
00:04:19.760 Gregory was a Jew and survival was his birthright.
00:04:24.680 This war, some were calling it the second great war to end all wars, was no different.
00:04:29.300 It was just one more calamity that he and his people would have to survive.
00:04:34.340 Gregory's unit had pushed through the Ukraine.
00:04:38.480 They were now on the heartland of the Third Reich.
00:04:41.400 The sea of German tanks were all scattered before them.
00:04:47.120 Gregory dove into a ditch at the last second while a barrage of tank and mortar fire came screaming through the air.
00:04:54.860 It was then that he noticed something.
00:04:56.460 Although terrifying as the sound of the incoming artillery fire was, it also resembled something extraordinary to him.
00:05:05.020 Music.
00:05:06.860 Gregory shifted his thinking from soldier to musician, and the incoming rounds were transformed within his mind to notes and stanzas on a sheet of carefully conducted music.
00:05:17.740 It had order, it had purpose, and more importantly, it became predictable for him.
00:05:26.720 It was his musical mind that allowed both he and his unit to tell where the German rounds were going to strike.
00:05:34.960 That's why he and his unit survived.
00:05:37.820 He would go on to Germany.
00:05:43.160 He participated in the liberation of the Nazi concentration camps.
00:05:48.540 The people behind the barbed wire were just like him.
00:05:53.620 They were all Jews.
00:05:56.100 While they would survive, their persecution was still not over.
00:06:00.360 The Jews caught behind the Iron Curtain now lived in a state of fear and denial under Stalin.
00:06:08.240 And Stalin required all Jews to register as a Jew on their state papers.
00:06:13.380 So every time Gregory now applied for a job or looked for a place to live,
00:06:18.680 an employer or a housing official would take one look at his papers and turn him down
00:06:22.900 because of the three letters on his papers, J-E-W.
00:06:26.920 Same thing was happening under Hitler.
00:06:33.620 In fact, Hitler, after the Night of Broken Glass or Kristallnacht, as it's become known as,
00:06:40.460 he said that all male Jews needed to now use the first name Israel
00:06:48.880 and all women needed to use the first name Rachel.
00:06:52.880 Why?
00:06:53.340 Because the state declared it.
00:06:58.020 They did it because they could.
00:07:02.560 Now, Gregory, after liberating Jews from that nightmare,
00:07:07.880 found himself in another nightmare in the Soviet Union.
00:07:12.740 They couldn't eat kosher.
00:07:14.500 They couldn't become rabbis.
00:07:15.880 They couldn't live as God had commanded them.
00:07:17.900 For them, this is the story of the Jewish people.
00:07:23.780 Just survive.
00:07:29.120 That's why the nation of Israel exists.
00:07:32.880 If people don't understand,
00:07:35.680 that is why
00:07:37.420 no one ever wants them.
00:07:40.820 No one ever stands for them.
00:07:43.180 They're always the last in line.
00:07:45.320 And so,
00:07:47.720 the world decided,
00:07:50.160 let them have this scrap of land,
00:07:52.460 they say,
00:07:53.500 was theirs because of the Bible.
00:07:55.660 Let them have it.
00:07:57.140 It's uninhabitable.
00:07:58.820 It's just nothing but a desert.
00:08:01.120 There's no oil.
00:08:02.180 There's nothing there.
00:08:03.460 Just give it to them.
00:08:06.800 And the Jews happily took it,
00:08:09.760 restored to their homeland
00:08:11.120 as the only nation on earth
00:08:14.900 to be wiped off the face of the map
00:08:18.200 and then to be restored 2,000 years later,
00:08:23.060 exactly as foretold.
00:08:26.920 Israel exists
00:08:28.340 because no one seems to want them.
00:08:31.500 Israel exists
00:08:34.000 because they have
00:08:35.400 a right
00:08:36.460 to live.
00:08:41.160 So let me go back
00:08:42.700 to Russia
00:08:43.720 and our musical friend.
00:08:47.680 In 1989,
00:08:50.180 40 years
00:08:51.380 after the Battle of Stalingrad,
00:08:53.440 the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society
00:08:55.320 was helping Jews
00:08:56.440 get out of the Soviet Union
00:08:57.900 and go to Israel
00:08:59.380 and the United States.
00:09:00.560 and they provided lawyers,
00:09:02.060 money to find homes,
00:09:03.240 food,
00:09:03.620 even language classes
00:09:04.680 to help them assimilate
00:09:06.300 in their new country.
00:09:08.060 For the first time ever,
00:09:10.980 Gregory
00:09:11.320 and the rest of the Jews
00:09:12.800 that he had known
00:09:13.780 that had survived
00:09:15.240 both Hitler
00:09:15.940 and Stalin
00:09:16.940 could concentrate
00:09:18.420 on something more
00:09:20.080 than just surviving.
00:09:21.760 they had a right
00:09:26.680 to pursue their happiness.
00:09:29.160 They could practice
00:09:30.380 their faith.
00:09:32.440 They could be proud
00:09:33.820 of who they were.
00:09:36.100 They could finally live.
00:09:37.720 The group that saved him
00:09:43.860 is the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society.
00:09:46.080 It's the oldest
00:09:46.720 refugee assistance
00:09:47.800 organization in the world.
00:09:49.160 Let me say that again.
00:09:50.000 It's the oldest
00:09:50.820 refugee assistance
00:09:52.460 organization
00:09:53.260 in the world.
00:09:55.100 It was established
00:09:56.180 in the 1800s
00:09:57.560 and they're responsible
00:09:58.540 for assisting
00:09:59.240 thousands
00:10:00.100 and thousands
00:10:01.320 of Jews.
00:10:02.420 and a few years ago
00:10:04.040 they opened up
00:10:04.560 their services
00:10:05.080 not just to Jews
00:10:06.460 but people of all faiths,
00:10:09.200 all faiths
00:10:10.860 that are persecuted
00:10:11.780 and need to be rescued.
00:10:15.460 Their current CEO
00:10:17.280 was asked recently
00:10:18.360 why they decided
00:10:19.060 to do it.
00:10:21.380 His answer
00:10:22.300 couldn't be more perfect.
00:10:25.100 We no longer
00:10:26.220 help refugees
00:10:28.020 because they're Jewish.
00:10:32.420 We help refugees
00:10:33.560 because we are Jewish.
00:10:39.740 The reason why
00:10:40.520 I'm telling you this story
00:10:41.380 is this
00:10:42.000 is the organization
00:10:43.800 that a madman
00:10:45.180 went into Philadelphia
00:10:46.460 to try to stop.
00:10:49.500 This is the organization
00:10:50.820 that was attacked
00:10:51.820 on Saturday morning
00:10:53.160 at the Tree of Life Synagogue.
00:10:57.100 Story never seems to end.
00:10:59.240 Eleven people were killed
00:11:00.460 in the deadliest attack
00:11:01.600 on Jews
00:11:02.180 in our country's history.
00:11:07.100 Stories like Gregory
00:11:08.300 filled the synagogue
00:11:09.820 that Saturday morning.
00:11:13.220 The horrors
00:11:14.120 they collectively
00:11:14.780 endured
00:11:15.980 unimaginable
00:11:17.500 to most people.
00:11:19.560 And yet here we are
00:11:20.580 again.
00:11:24.040 The group of people
00:11:25.320 who now have to
00:11:27.260 concentrate
00:11:27.640 just on one thing.
00:11:30.860 Survive.
00:11:31.600 Anti-Semitism
00:11:34.600 is evil.
00:11:38.020 Anti-Semitism
00:11:38.780 is a disease.
00:11:42.200 Anti-Semitism
00:11:43.060 is as old
00:11:44.660 as the world.
00:11:47.140 From the moment
00:11:48.440 God said
00:11:49.820 I will make you
00:11:50.980 my people
00:11:51.780 there has been
00:11:53.100 anti-Semitism.
00:11:54.140 And it is
00:11:55.320 on the rise
00:11:56.420 as it always is
00:11:58.580 in times of
00:11:59.720 nationalism
00:12:00.380 socialism
00:12:01.380 and socialism.
00:12:01.800 Every time
00:12:03.060 the Jew
00:12:03.740 is the canary
00:12:04.860 in the coal mine
00:12:05.860 they are always
00:12:07.180 the first.
00:12:09.200 And if the world
00:12:10.140 doesn't pay attention
00:12:11.360 at that point
00:12:12.360 it's washed
00:12:13.600 in blood.
00:12:18.320 If the world
00:12:19.320 decides
00:12:19.920 they need to come
00:12:20.900 for the Jews
00:12:21.800 I proudly
00:12:23.160 declare myself
00:12:24.640 a Jew.
00:12:25.360 the world
00:12:29.660 makes promises
00:12:30.380 all the time
00:12:31.000 and they don't
00:12:31.480 ever intend
00:12:32.080 on keeping
00:12:32.560 them.
00:12:34.680 But I do.
00:12:38.520 We said
00:12:39.580 never forget
00:12:40.660 I've told you
00:12:43.700 you are
00:12:44.760 the audience
00:12:45.500 that will
00:12:46.400 in the end
00:12:47.220 restore the
00:12:49.300 republic
00:12:49.820 save the
00:12:50.980 republic
00:12:51.400 and it's
00:12:53.000 not going
00:12:53.580 to be
00:12:53.900 through
00:12:54.160 violence
00:12:54.800 the world
00:12:57.020 is going
00:12:57.500 to become
00:12:57.900 more and
00:12:58.700 more violent
00:12:59.480 we must
00:13:02.920 be a unique
00:13:03.780 and peculiar
00:13:04.660 people
00:13:05.320 because the
00:13:06.680 vast majority
00:13:07.620 of Americans
00:13:08.300 know this
00:13:09.060 is not
00:13:09.700 who we
00:13:10.440 are
00:13:10.940 this is
00:13:14.540 not who
00:13:15.060 we want
00:13:15.540 to be
00:13:16.080 and we
00:13:19.860 will stand
00:13:20.400 shoulder to
00:13:21.020 shoulder
00:13:21.240 with our
00:13:21.720 Jewish
00:13:22.120 brothers
00:13:22.540 and
00:13:22.900 sisters
00:13:23.300 we will
00:13:27.500 stand
00:13:27.820 shoulder to
00:13:28.400 shoulder
00:13:28.620 with our
00:13:29.260 Christian
00:13:30.300 brothers and
00:13:31.020 sisters in
00:13:31.580 the Middle
00:13:31.880 East
00:13:32.320 we will
00:13:33.920 stand
00:13:34.640 shoulder to
00:13:35.300 shoulder
00:13:35.580 with a
00:13:36.680 Muslim
00:13:37.060 that is
00:13:37.420 being
00:13:37.640 rounded up
00:13:38.540 by the
00:13:39.060 Chinese
00:13:39.880 the
00:13:44.920 cycle
00:13:45.580 of
00:13:46.020 hate
00:13:46.780 has
00:13:50.260 begun
00:13:50.640 again
00:13:51.100 and it's
00:13:52.520 not Donald
00:13:53.220 Trump and
00:13:53.780 it's not
00:13:54.320 Barack
00:13:54.740 Obama
00:13:55.160 it's a
00:13:56.640 cycle that
00:13:57.240 has been
00:13:57.820 running
00:13:58.560 since the
00:13:59.240 beginning
00:13:59.600 of time
00:14:00.380 and the
00:14:02.680 world
00:14:02.960 always
00:14:03.840 acts
00:14:04.480 the same
00:14:05.360 way
00:14:05.980 because it
00:14:07.360 always comes
00:14:08.300 in a time
00:14:08.900 of chaos
00:14:09.860 it always
00:14:11.720 comes in a
00:14:12.360 time of
00:14:12.920 fear
00:14:13.420 it always
00:14:14.800 comes in
00:14:15.960 a we
00:14:16.640 cycle
00:14:17.340 when
00:14:18.100 forget the
00:14:19.760 individual
00:14:20.380 it's what's
00:14:21.180 best for
00:14:22.280 all of
00:14:22.800 society
00:14:23.420 it's why
00:14:24.840 our founders
00:14:26.120 came here
00:14:27.680 in the first
00:14:28.220 place
00:14:28.800 it's why
00:14:30.440 our founders
00:14:31.260 defended
00:14:32.620 the Jews
00:14:33.560 we're a
00:14:36.440 different
00:14:36.800 country
00:14:37.420 we're a
00:14:38.900 different
00:14:39.200 people
00:14:39.840 we're
00:14:42.080 not
00:14:45.560 better than
00:14:46.300 the rest
00:14:46.700 of the
00:14:46.960 world
00:14:47.240 we just
00:14:48.620 see things
00:14:49.440 differently
00:14:50.180 and if we
00:14:54.220 don't
00:14:55.080 shame on
00:14:56.680 us
00:14:57.020 our pilgrims
00:15:01.520 came here
00:15:01.980 thinking
00:15:02.520 that they
00:15:03.960 were completing
00:15:04.960 the journey
00:15:05.920 the journey
00:15:05.940 from the
00:15:06.500 Red Sea
00:15:07.340 our first
00:15:10.660 great seal
00:15:11.860 of the
00:15:12.320 United States
00:15:13.280 was the
00:15:14.420 pillar of
00:15:15.040 fire and
00:15:15.720 Pharaoh's
00:15:16.400 horses
00:15:16.800 and the
00:15:17.860 parting of
00:15:18.760 the Red Sea
00:15:19.540 I don't want
00:15:22.420 to just
00:15:22.700 survive
00:15:23.200 I don't
00:15:26.600 want to
00:15:27.260 do something
00:15:31.940 to earn a
00:15:32.620 living
00:15:32.920 I want
00:15:33.680 to live
00:15:34.440 FDR said
00:15:40.440 this generation
00:15:42.800 has a rendezvous
00:15:44.720 with destiny
00:15:45.840 I echo
00:15:48.520 those words
00:15:49.300 our generation
00:15:52.340 must be the
00:15:53.500 generation that
00:15:54.260 breaks this
00:15:54.940 cycle
00:15:55.340 there is no
00:15:56.680 one else in
00:15:57.520 the world who
00:15:58.140 will do it
00:15:58.860 who will stand
00:16:00.480 against this
00:16:01.180 onslaught
00:16:02.120 who will stand
00:16:03.580 against the
00:16:04.140 hatred and the
00:16:04.940 nationalism and
00:16:05.820 the collectivism
00:16:08.280 the extermination
00:16:10.900 of people that
00:16:11.800 just aren't good
00:16:12.620 enough
00:16:13.040 we are headed
00:16:14.720 that way
00:16:15.480 we are headed
00:16:16.940 that way
00:16:17.800 once you
00:16:19.140 cannot talk
00:16:20.100 to your
00:16:20.560 neighbors
00:16:20.980 once the
00:16:21.900 other side
00:16:22.940 has nothing
00:16:23.760 to offer
00:16:24.500 you have to
00:16:26.340 eliminate them
00:16:27.100 because they're
00:16:28.980 the devil
00:16:29.580 they're the
00:16:31.180 devil and
00:16:32.140 you cannot
00:16:32.840 deal with
00:16:33.600 the devil
00:16:34.160 will the
00:16:36.100 60 to 80
00:16:36.940 percent of
00:16:37.540 this country
00:16:38.020 stand up
00:16:38.660 they never
00:16:42.260 ever have
00:16:43.500 they never
00:16:44.600 ever have
00:16:46.120 it was
00:16:48.220 20 percent
00:16:49.240 20 percent
00:16:51.640 for the
00:16:52.140 American
00:16:52.480 revolution
00:16:53.040 most people
00:16:54.780 stood on
00:16:55.560 the sidelines
00:16:56.500 there was
00:16:57.480 another 20
00:16:58.340 percent that
00:16:59.300 wanted the
00:16:59.840 king
00:17:00.200 we have a
00:17:05.720 rendezvous
00:17:06.520 with destiny
00:17:08.340 let us
00:17:11.480 be the
00:17:12.020 generation
00:17:12.680 that finally
00:17:14.220 breaks this
00:17:15.160 chain
00:17:15.680 the best
00:17:18.860 of the
00:17:19.100 Glenn Beck
00:17:19.500 program
00:17:20.280 so the
00:17:27.220 reason why
00:17:27.540 we brought
00:17:27.800 Pat in this
00:17:28.560 morning is
00:17:29.040 because you
00:17:30.400 know he's
00:17:31.460 doing more
00:17:32.100 on trivia
00:17:32.600 and and
00:17:34.500 more on
00:17:34.980 trivia is is
00:17:36.400 always a laugh
00:17:37.220 and so we
00:17:38.180 wanted to
00:17:38.780 find out how
00:17:39.920 it went on
00:17:40.760 Friday
00:17:41.120 Pat
00:17:41.920 yeah it's
00:17:43.120 you know it's
00:17:43.740 a chance to
00:17:44.180 get away from
00:17:44.680 the discourse
00:17:45.360 for a little
00:17:46.060 while for like
00:17:46.760 an hour a
00:17:47.600 week and
00:17:48.040 just and just
00:17:48.640 be mean to
00:17:49.320 yeah and
00:17:49.760 just be mean
00:17:50.240 to people
00:17:50.660 find out how
00:17:52.560 dumb they are
00:17:53.380 it's great
00:17:54.180 that's not the
00:17:56.180 scientific
00:17:56.640 justification
00:17:57.360 so on
00:17:58.440 Fridays on
00:17:59.300 the Pat
00:17:59.800 Gray podcast
00:18:00.820 Pat Gray
00:18:01.480 Unleashed
00:18:01.980 podcast and
00:18:02.880 on the radio
00:18:03.500 and television
00:18:04.160 network he
00:18:05.540 does more on
00:18:06.220 trivia and we
00:18:07.020 have just a
00:18:07.940 taste of how
00:18:08.720 things worked
00:18:09.380 out calling
00:18:10.580 convenience stores
00:18:11.660 and asking
00:18:12.580 them you know
00:18:13.480 pretty obvious
00:18:14.160 questions
00:18:14.860 uh Brianna
00:18:16.140 hi
00:18:16.500 hi
00:18:17.440 can we ask
00:18:18.440 you we're
00:18:18.740 gonna ask you
00:18:19.120 four quick
00:18:19.560 questions if
00:18:20.540 you don't know
00:18:20.920 the answer just
00:18:21.580 take a guess and
00:18:22.420 you can't ask
00:18:22.960 anybody for help
00:18:23.640 okay
00:18:23.920 all right
00:18:24.960 okay what
00:18:26.660 does DC
00:18:27.460 stand for as
00:18:28.580 in Washington
00:18:29.660 DC
00:18:30.160 something about
00:18:35.180 batteries
00:18:35.660 it's almost
00:18:37.540 impossible
00:18:38.040 nobody's
00:18:38.500 ever got
00:18:38.760 that
00:18:38.940 yeah
00:18:42.200 yeah
00:18:42.520 douches of
00:18:44.860 Congress
00:18:45.520 yeah
00:18:47.980 question number
00:18:51.560 two
00:18:51.960 how many
00:18:52.840 British colonies
00:18:53.580 in America
00:18:54.280 were there
00:18:54.780 in 1776
00:18:56.260 22
00:18:59.640 22
00:19:00.420 right
00:19:01.020 oh
00:19:01.840 so close
00:19:04.460 so close
00:19:06.760 it was
00:19:07.220 21
00:19:08.260 because Rhode
00:19:08.920 Island wasn't
00:19:09.740 a thing yet
00:19:10.360 oh damn it
00:19:11.460 I know
00:19:11.980 I know
00:19:12.880 I wanted to
00:19:14.040 give it to you
00:19:14.540 but they wanted
00:19:15.080 an exact number
00:19:16.080 all right
00:19:17.300 question number
00:19:18.080 three what
00:19:18.540 animal do
00:19:19.120 hamburgers come
00:19:19.940 from
00:19:22.320 cow
00:19:22.760 thank you
00:19:23.760 hey
00:19:24.140 you got cows
00:19:24.880 you got that
00:19:25.500 some of the
00:19:28.660 hamburgers from
00:19:29.300 cows
00:19:29.740 others come
00:19:30.700 from
00:19:31.260 others come
00:19:32.040 from gerbils
00:19:32.680 but we're
00:19:33.100 gonna give it
00:19:33.480 to you
00:19:33.740 because I
00:19:34.920 think it's
00:19:35.260 about a 50-50
00:19:36.060 split cows
00:19:36.860 and gerbils
00:19:37.700 all right
00:19:38.760 question number
00:19:39.360 four
00:19:39.780 Brianna
00:19:40.540 what is
00:19:41.720 socialism
00:19:43.260 socialism
00:19:46.260 yeah
00:19:46.740 socialism
00:19:47.660 no one ever
00:19:50.680 knows
00:19:50.880 it's what
00:19:52.580 communication
00:19:53.980 right
00:19:55.240 this is close
00:19:56.580 it's close
00:19:57.360 you're not
00:20:00.440 gonna give it
00:20:00.880 to her
00:20:01.160 no I can't
00:20:01.780 give it to her
00:20:02.280 it's a specific
00:20:03.540 kind
00:20:04.280 on insta chat
00:20:06.220 it's a
00:20:06.840 oh wow
00:20:07.880 we're looking
00:20:08.400 for the
00:20:08.760 specific
00:20:09.420 see Brianna
00:20:10.120 you live in
00:20:10.600 California
00:20:11.000 you're actually
00:20:11.380 living socialism
00:20:12.540 as we speak
00:20:13.460 yeah
00:20:13.780 oh my gosh
00:20:21.540 and you thought
00:20:22.580 you were depressed
00:20:23.300 about the country
00:20:24.100 before we played
00:20:25.700 that call
00:20:26.300 more on trivia
00:20:28.340 you can hear it
00:20:29.000 with Pat Gray
00:20:29.700 unleashed
00:20:30.660 every Friday
00:20:31.980 every Friday
00:20:32.960 on the Blaze
00:20:33.600 Radio and TV
00:20:34.260 network
00:20:34.720 do we ask
00:20:35.120 what the season
00:20:35.520 record is
00:20:36.020 six and two
00:20:37.120 not bad
00:20:37.860 yeah it's pretty
00:20:38.520 good
00:20:38.740 it's pretty good
00:20:39.400 we just
00:20:39.820 we barely lost
00:20:40.880 on the Packers
00:20:41.600 Packers against
00:20:43.460 the Rams
00:20:43.940 just like that
00:20:44.700 two point loss
00:20:45.620 on that one
00:20:46.060 they had that
00:20:46.840 game too
00:20:47.220 yeah they did
00:20:47.860 thank you very
00:20:48.760 much Pat
00:20:49.160 thank you
00:20:49.680 this is the
00:20:55.340 best of the
00:20:55.740 Glenn Beck
00:20:56.080 program
00:20:56.480 and we really
00:20:57.300 want to thank
00:20:57.760 you for listening

00:21:17.260 in with our
00:21:18.580 houses because
00:21:19.960 we are absolutely
00:21:21.500 convinced this is
00:21:22.920 the crime of the
00:21:23.680 future and you
00:21:25.200 could get nailed
00:21:26.160 without even
00:21:26.900 knowing it
00:21:27.360 and lose your
00:21:28.060 house lose
00:21:28.880 everything
00:21:29.340 and it used to
00:21:29.960 be basically
00:21:30.640 impossible to
00:21:31.420 protect yourself
00:21:31.940 against it
00:21:32.400 until home

00:21:56.480 do it
00:21:56.700 do it
00:21:57.100 rest in peace
00:21:58.080 artistic freedom
00:21:59.480 rest in peace
00:22:01.200 comedy
00:22:01.820 the leeching
00:22:03.360 politically correct
00:22:04.280 brigade have once
00:22:05.380 again gotten
00:22:05.980 their way
00:22:06.460 the simpsons
00:22:07.880 a show that
00:22:09.200 let's be honest
00:22:09.900 hardly anyone
00:22:11.000 even watches
00:22:11.760 anymore
00:22:12.240 has surrendered
00:22:13.600 to the unwavering
00:22:14.860 demands of a
00:22:15.680 small group of
00:22:16.700 pc babies
00:22:17.700 who have screamed
00:22:19.520 and wailed
00:22:20.340 and moaned
00:22:21.140 that apu character
00:22:22.160 is culturally
00:22:23.340 insensitive
00:22:24.140 they've won
00:22:26.880 a few weeks ago
00:22:29.360 south park had an
00:22:30.440 episode about it
00:22:31.740 two pc parents
00:22:32.800 give birth to
00:22:33.660 five pc babies
00:22:34.820 and the pc babies
00:22:36.160 throw a tantrum
00:22:36.900 anytime somebody
00:22:37.800 offends them
00:22:38.420 and the tantrums
00:22:39.420 don't stop until
00:22:40.180 the babies get
00:22:40.760 exactly what they
00:22:41.420 want resulting in
00:22:42.340 the people of
00:22:42.980 south park having
00:22:43.920 to banish one of
00:22:44.760 their oldest most
00:22:45.460 offensive characters
00:22:46.520 and they send him
00:22:47.580 to the simpsons
00:22:49.960 yes that cesspool
00:22:52.040 of racism and
00:22:53.160 hatred
00:22:53.540 yes we live in a
00:22:56.420 world where a
00:22:57.140 group of coddled
00:22:58.080 whiny people have
00:22:59.420 determined that the
00:23:00.560 simpsons is hateful
00:23:02.060 the freaking
00:23:03.480 simpsons
00:23:04.640 the same group
00:23:06.840 that when people
00:23:07.980 said i don't know
00:23:09.060 if bart is a good
00:23:10.480 role model they
00:23:11.460 told us to shut
00:23:12.840 up
00:23:13.320 now they find it
00:23:16.120 offensive
00:23:16.780 i mean who's next
00:23:20.660 ned flanders
00:23:21.480 that white supremacist
00:23:23.160 cisgender man
00:23:24.020 symbol of the
00:23:24.840 patriarchy
00:23:25.460 no because
00:23:26.580 that's making fun
00:23:28.020 of him so he'll
00:23:28.780 stay
00:23:29.120 mo the bartender
00:23:30.960 why is he taking
00:23:32.220 the job of a
00:23:32.820 minority woman
00:23:33.900 transgender
00:23:34.700 where's the
00:23:35.800 diversity here
00:23:36.660 because in the
00:23:38.140 world of pc
00:23:38.900 babies and with
00:23:39.860 every small
00:23:40.480 surrender like this
00:23:41.520 one the world
00:23:42.540 becomes theirs
00:23:43.880 just a little bit
00:23:45.620 more and it's
00:23:47.700 it's the way
00:23:49.100 they want comedy
00:23:50.280 comedy should
00:23:51.480 adhere to the
00:23:52.340 cultural sensitivity
00:23:53.480 to the rigorous
00:23:54.780 standards of
00:23:55.740 postmodern social
00:23:56.780 doctrine comedy is
00:23:58.460 not answering to
00:23:59.240 the people it's
00:24:00.200 answering to a
00:24:01.060 group of
00:24:01.640 postmodernist
00:24:02.520 crybabies
00:24:03.500 what are we
00:24:05.200 doing
00:24:05.720 in a few weeks
00:24:07.880 time they'll be
00:24:08.840 demanding that the
00:24:09.780 the show now
00:24:10.760 feature more racial
00:24:11.680 diversity more
00:24:12.560 transgender characters
00:24:13.880 fewer white or
00:24:15.380 actually yellow
00:24:16.460 characters fewer
00:24:17.900 police more
00:24:19.220 professors the
00:24:20.620 plot lines will
00:24:21.440 take subjects like
00:24:22.380 marxism veganism
00:24:23.960 toxic masculinity
00:24:25.260 all into
00:24:26.360 consideration oh
00:24:27.460 i'm sure and
00:24:29.020 cultural appropriation
00:24:30.300 oh the idea that
00:24:32.660 got us into this
00:24:33.600 mess to begin
00:24:34.340 with the show
00:24:36.460 will become
00:24:37.520 lisa well not
00:24:40.900 lisa because even
00:24:41.740 lisa who's a
00:24:43.080 stereotype of the
00:24:44.060 annoying pc kid who
00:24:45.260 ruins the fun for
00:24:46.120 everyone even lisa
00:24:47.700 isn't pc enough
00:24:49.180 it's not going to
00:24:50.480 be the simpsons at
00:24:51.600 all the simpsons
00:24:53.080 they should all just
00:24:54.620 quit but i will
00:24:57.400 tell you if they
00:24:58.080 don't it'll be the
00:24:59.140 most culturally
00:24:59.860 sensitive most
00:25:00.960 forward-thinking tv
00:25:02.300 show ever made
00:25:03.520 it'll be the crowning
00:25:04.880 achievement of the
00:25:05.780 social justice
00:25:06.800 movement and not
00:25:09.220 one single moment of
00:25:11.040 it will be enjoyable
00:25:12.080 funny or watched
00:25:14.540 i'm glad you brought
00:25:16.080 up the apu thing by
00:25:16.960 the way on the
00:25:17.960 simpsons did you see
00:25:19.320 the reaction from the
00:25:20.280 people who started
00:25:21.120 this movement who
00:25:21.920 did this you know
00:25:23.220 documentary the
00:25:24.780 problem with apu or
00:25:26.240 whatever in the
00:25:26.780 article where they
00:25:28.060 you know simpsons
00:25:29.200 are getting rid of
00:25:29.860 this character
00:25:30.460 reportedly we'll see
00:25:31.980 if that actually
00:25:32.500 happens it seems like
00:25:33.320 it is and their
00:25:34.720 reaction was oh we
00:25:37.200 didn't want him to
00:25:37.600 get rid of the
00:25:38.220 character so now
00:25:40.080 they're complaining
00:25:40.840 about the fact that
00:25:42.240 their little movie
00:25:44.020 got a this this
00:25:46.120 character removed from
00:25:47.480 the show now they're
00:25:48.240 complaining about it
00:25:49.080 oh we just wanted
00:25:50.040 him to be i mean
00:25:51.100 basically what they're
00:25:51.680 saying is no we
00:25:52.540 don't want you to get
00:25:52.940 rid of him we just
00:25:53.460 wanted to write
00:25:53.980 everything that he
00:25:54.600 says well i mean
00:25:56.080 that's not something
00:25:56.880 the simpsons signed
00:25:57.540 on for yeah you're
00:25:58.420 not going to write
00:25:58.940 her sorry
00:25:59.500 unbelievable and this
00:26:02.240 is a great lesson for
00:26:03.460 everyone who tries to
00:26:05.320 please say megan
00:26:06.800 kelly i think it's
00:26:07.640 same type of thing
00:26:08.320 right you can't you
00:26:09.360 can't no matter what
00:26:10.880 you say they're never
00:26:12.160 going to be pleased
00:26:13.040 the people who come
00:26:14.040 after you for these
00:26:14.620 these nonsensical pc
00:26:16.220 issues will never be
00:26:18.760 pleased no matter what
00:26:20.000 you give them no
00:26:20.960 matter what apology you
00:26:22.180 say no matter how
00:26:23.580 sincere it is no
00:26:25.220 matter they're not
00:26:26.700 asking you to remove
00:26:28.140 a poo they're not
00:26:29.040 asking you to change
00:26:30.120 they're asking for
00:26:31.180 something that you
00:26:32.120 can't possibly give
00:26:33.180 them and the earlier
00:26:34.000 you realize that the
00:26:35.100 better
00:26:35.400 let me change the
00:26:39.800 subject to enough is
00:26:40.880 enough when america
00:26:43.560 will enough be enough
00:26:44.800 new polls americans
00:26:49.400 fed up crave unity
00:26:52.680 amid violence now
00:26:55.040 this one should
00:26:58.120 terrify you
00:26:58.860 because 57 percent
00:27:03.060 now say they want a
00:27:04.740 third party they want
00:27:06.900 unity that number is
00:27:08.760 even higher but i'm not
00:27:11.500 sure people actually mean
00:27:13.140 this i'm not sure what
00:27:16.060 unity even means they
00:27:18.820 they say that we no
00:27:20.940 longer really agree on
00:27:25.080 the core values of our
00:27:27.480 country which i think is
00:27:30.120 actually true we don't
00:27:32.180 agree on core values but
00:27:34.820 what are those core values
00:27:36.840 anybody know what are the
00:27:40.700 values that brought it what
00:27:41.920 are the things that we're
00:27:42.880 actually arguing about now
00:27:45.420 way things are going in the
00:27:47.640 united states 25 percent are
00:27:49.100 satisfied 58 percent
00:27:50.680 dissatisfied the state of
00:27:52.640 politics 9 percent
00:27:54.340 satisfied 77 percent
00:27:56.140 dissatisfied 13 percent are
00:27:58.680 like
00:27:58.840 percentage that say americans
00:28:02.860 are united in agreement about
00:28:04.220 the most important values 15
00:28:06.280 percent 15 percent of us say
00:28:09.380 we're united on the most
00:28:10.480 important values my question
00:28:12.500 is what are those values
00:28:14.740 sincerely what are we
00:28:19.360 fighting for are we are we
00:28:22.920 fighting for lower taxes
00:28:24.180 here's what the here's what
00:28:27.580 the survey shows where we
00:28:30.460 divide on our quote most
00:28:32.340 important values politics in
00:28:35.900 this country it's politics of
00:28:39.340 value um moral ethics in our
00:28:44.220 country
00:28:44.680 is that a value
00:28:48.420 race relations gap between rich
00:28:54.480 and poor the state of the news
00:28:57.520 media the way things are going
00:29:00.380 in the u.s the environment the
00:29:04.460 way things are going in your
00:29:05.580 state rights for lgbt
00:29:09.220 status of religion
00:29:11.920 homeland security
00:29:14.180 with an exception of a couple
00:29:18.680 those aren't values
00:29:20.280 those are issues
00:29:22.240 that's a political campaign
00:29:24.880 and perhaps that's what we're
00:29:28.160 missing
00:29:28.520 see i i firmly believe and i i
00:29:33.180 wrote this in the book addicted
00:29:34.900 to outrage we have a few things
00:29:36.920 we have to decide we have to
00:29:39.060 decide one
00:29:40.360 so western world worth saving
00:29:42.560 is freedom as our founders saw
00:29:47.080 it
00:29:47.320 is it worth saving yes or no
00:29:51.400 and i don't want you just to you
00:29:53.760 know jump off and yeah absolutely
00:29:55.740 why
00:29:56.320 why why is it worth saving who can
00:29:59.260 articulate this
00:30:00.260 why is it worth saving how has it
00:30:05.760 changed the world in specifics
00:30:08.400 who can make that case among us
00:30:13.020 who's making that case to their
00:30:15.600 kids at dinner at night in
00:30:18.200 is america a good place or a bad
00:30:27.060 place
00:30:27.400 we have to decide
00:30:29.260 because half of the country says
00:30:31.480 it's a great place
00:30:32.300 half of the country says and i don't
00:30:34.180 even know if these numbers are
00:30:35.220 accurate and half i doubt they are
00:30:37.000 half
00:30:37.360 but let's just say half the country
00:30:40.160 says it's a bad place half the
00:30:41.800 country says it's a good place
00:30:43.060 which are we
00:30:44.720 sincerely which are we we have to
00:30:47.280 choose don't we
00:30:48.080 because it's a binary choice isn't
00:30:51.220 it
00:30:51.500 we're good or bad right it's a
00:30:54.360 binary choice you have to choose
00:30:55.940 one
00:30:56.400 no
00:30:58.240 no you don't
00:31:00.120 it's not a binary choice the
00:31:03.940 answer is we're both
00:31:04.860 we're both
00:31:07.980 we've been both bad and good
00:31:11.000 we've had really good intentions
00:31:13.220 and the pathway to hell is paved in
00:31:15.580 good intentions
00:31:16.240 and we have great intentions now
00:31:19.160 on both sides we have great
00:31:22.600 intentions
00:31:23.240 what are we going to do with those
00:31:26.160 intentions because you rarely live
00:31:28.520 up to them
00:31:29.140 have you heard anyone actually make
00:31:33.460 the case for america and not just
00:31:38.280 in red white and blue flag waving
00:31:41.400 terms
00:31:42.060 but why is america important
00:31:45.080 why is the constitution worth
00:31:51.700 fighting for
00:31:52.560 because if we don't know let's just
00:31:54.540 get on with it man
00:31:56.000 let's just move on
00:31:58.500 i'm i
00:32:02.460 we cannot sit here and argue
00:32:05.520 about the greatest issues of our
00:32:08.100 time
00:32:08.700 we don't have our basic
00:32:11.060 well i mean i want to make sure i
00:32:12.820 have this right
00:32:13.620 our our basic
00:32:15.500 essential values
00:32:18.600 in line
00:32:19.740 like climate change
00:32:22.620 you can say one of our values
00:32:28.760 is how do we treat each other and
00:32:31.880 how do we treat the earth
00:32:33.200 okay that's a value
00:32:35.180 that's not climate change
00:32:37.860 climate change comes off of that
00:32:41.900 value in principle
00:32:43.060 climate change is okay
00:32:50.500 is there a problem
00:32:52.740 is there a problem
00:32:55.640 well i'm sorry but the science is not
00:32:58.900 settled
00:32:59.620 the climate is constantly changing
00:33:05.880 it always has
00:33:07.440 that's why we we had
00:33:09.640 the ice age
00:33:11.140 where were the suvs for the ice age
00:33:13.500 it always changes
00:33:15.960 now can we do things
00:33:18.600 that can affect the climate
00:33:20.520 i don't know
00:33:21.680 some people say we can
00:33:23.040 some people say we can't
00:33:24.600 the evidence is spotty at best
00:33:27.440 and you can't trust the evidence
00:33:29.280 that is there
00:33:30.020 because we have too much evidence
00:33:32.660 of collusion and coercion in the
00:33:36.280 scientific field
00:33:37.360 you give me clean cut studies
00:33:40.820 okay
00:33:41.400 but that's not even what we're
00:33:45.700 arguing about
00:33:46.480 we're arguing about what to do
00:33:49.480 about it
00:33:50.160 see they keep making about
00:33:52.520 you know whether it's happening
00:33:54.340 or not i'm willing to give you
00:33:56.320 the benefit of the doubt
00:33:57.500 i'm willing to say okay it's
00:33:59.000 happening
00:33:59.380 all right it's happening
00:34:00.880 what do you want to do about it
00:34:03.180 well the solutions
00:34:07.180 are insane
00:34:08.640 the solutions don't work
00:34:10.940 now that is a political discussion
00:34:13.540 that is a political discussion
00:34:15.640 you know where our values come in
00:34:18.240 on that particular discussion
00:34:20.640 when someone says the science
00:34:22.940 is settled
00:34:23.600 shut up
00:34:24.480 that's the violation
00:34:26.860 of our values
00:34:28.440 when people sit down at the table
00:34:32.080 and say look i care about the environment
00:34:34.080 i really do
00:34:35.240 i disagree with the science
00:34:37.700 and here are the people on my side
00:34:39.400 that are showing you
00:34:40.620 that this is coercion
00:34:42.160 this is collusion
00:34:43.480 and that your system
00:34:46.280 that you're touting
00:34:49.200 is nothing more than a political system
00:34:51.860 and it doesn't work
00:34:53.940 that's a political discussion
00:34:57.380 those are the things we should have
00:34:59.100 what brings us together at the end
00:35:01.900 are the values
00:35:04.460 we both care about the earth
00:35:08.420 who doesn't care about the earth
00:35:10.200 sincerely
00:35:11.160 who doesn't care about the earth
00:35:13.620 and i'm tired of being lectured by people
00:35:16.460 who will go and protest
00:35:18.340 and leave a sea of garbage behind them
00:35:21.780 for others to keep
00:35:23.820 and clean up
00:35:24.980 i'm sick of it
00:35:27.200 don't tell me you care about the environment
00:35:30.220 and then
00:35:31.080 after a protest
00:35:32.480 everything is nothing but litter
00:35:34.420 you either care about it
00:35:37.360 or you don't
00:35:38.260 words don't mean anything anymore
00:35:40.240 only actions do
00:35:42.000 don't tell me what you believe
00:35:44.820 show me what you believe
00:35:46.580 by doing the tough thing
00:35:49.900 and you know what the tough thing is right now
00:35:51.960 the tough thing is not saying something
00:35:54.080 that's pleasing to your crowd
00:35:55.880 the tough thing is to say the things
00:35:57.880 your crowd doesn't want to hear
00:35:59.700 but are right
00:36:00.840 and no one is saying them
00:36:02.340 that takes courage
00:36:04.280 that takes conviction
00:36:06.140 that takes honesty
00:36:08.460 that takes compassion
00:36:09.960 that takes empathy
00:36:11.260 those are values
00:36:13.560 so what are our values?
00:36:21.660 how do we find them?
00:36:24.900 are they even worth finding?
00:36:29.780 that question
00:36:31.580 has to be answered first
00:36:35.200 this is the best
00:36:41.200 of the Glenn Beck program
00:36:42.080 and don't forget
00:36:42.880 rate us on iTunes
00:36:44.700 my patriot supply
00:36:52.320 when an emergency strikes
00:36:54.180 what is your first impulse?
00:36:56.680 your answer is to
00:36:58.200 run to the grocery store
00:36:59.280 right?
00:36:59.960 you hear a snowstorm
00:37:00.780 gotta run to the grocery
00:37:01.700 gotta get the grocery
00:37:02.580 how do you avoid it?
00:37:07.100 it's really simple
00:37:07.920 you use today
00:37:09.640 to make a plan
00:37:10.620 there is time
00:37:12.120 to prepare
00:37:12.720 for a hurricane
00:37:13.960 earthquake
00:37:14.700 blizzard
00:37:15.400 social unrest
00:37:17.300 the practical place
00:37:19.360 to start
00:37:19.840 is just by storing up
00:37:21.240 some food
00:37:21.660 in your home
00:37:22.360 now I use my patriot supply
00:37:24.520 for food storage
00:37:25.400 I have for a very long time
00:37:26.800 if you don't have
00:37:27.680 an emergency food supply
00:37:28.840 it's really
00:37:30.000 if you've listened to me
00:37:33.580 for
00:37:34.100 any given time
00:37:35.860 this
00:37:36.440 this
00:37:36.780 this
00:37:37.220 is the time
00:37:38.360 that we've talked about
00:37:39.200 this is the beginning of it
00:37:40.360 this is it
00:37:41.560 what I've talked to you about
00:37:43.560 coming our way
00:37:45.020 we're here now
00:37:45.960 so if you've ever
00:37:47.920 believed in any of that
00:37:49.760 now is the time
00:37:51.280 to prepare
00:37:52.280 a two week food kit
00:37:54.100 that comes in a rugged tote
00:37:55.640 so you can grab and go
00:37:56.860 this week it's only $75
00:37:58.740 when you go to
00:37:59.740 preparewithglenn.com
00:38:01.060 or call
00:38:01.520 1-800-200-7163
00:38:03.820 it includes breakfast
00:38:05.460 lunch
00:38:06.100 dinner
00:38:06.580 up to 25 years
00:38:08.460 in storage
00:38:09.200 you can order
00:38:10.160 now
00:38:10.580 prepare yourself
00:38:11.800 and your family
00:38:12.640 and then
00:38:13.100 let it go
00:38:14.240 800-200-7163
00:38:17.020 or preparewithglenn.com
00:38:19.280 is the western way of life
00:38:21.140 we're saving
00:38:22.120 is it good
00:38:22.800 is it nothing but a bunch
00:38:24.440 of cisgender males
00:38:26.420 white males
00:38:27.840 white Europeans
00:38:29.100 that have oppressed people
00:38:30.660 is that
00:38:32.000 is that all
00:38:32.500 is that all it is
00:38:33.360 can I ask you Stu
00:38:35.340 when do you think
00:38:36.440 World War II
00:38:37.260 officially started
00:38:38.480 when did it
00:38:39.020 really start
00:38:40.260 start
00:38:40.840 so not our involvement
00:38:42.600 in it
00:38:43.060 yeah
00:38:43.900 not our involvement
00:38:44.880 oh god
00:38:46.040 I mean
00:38:46.660 the date
00:38:47.180 I'm not going to get right
00:38:48.040 yeah
00:38:48.300 just give me an event
00:38:50.160 that's a tough one
00:38:54.540 would you say
00:38:56.820 Germany invades Poland
00:38:58.300 or you know
00:39:00.120 breaks the treaty
00:39:01.440 with you know
00:39:02.180 yeah I mean
00:39:02.580 the treaty
00:39:03.000 Chamberlain
00:39:04.500 or
00:39:04.840 I mean
00:39:05.560 Berlin treaty
00:39:06.440 so you're talking events
00:39:08.480 that lead into other events
00:39:09.560 I mean
00:39:09.960 you could go
00:39:10.520 a million different places
00:39:11.480 in that area
00:39:11.980 I'll give you
00:39:12.380 I'll give you one
00:39:13.140 how about when
00:39:14.820 Japan
00:39:15.620 invaded China
00:39:17.180 happened in
00:39:18.220 37
00:39:19.180 if you live
00:39:21.180 on that side
00:39:21.880 of the earth
00:39:22.380 yeah
00:39:22.820 you think
00:39:23.680 World War II
00:39:24.360 started then
00:39:25.460 Japan invaded
00:39:27.800 China
00:39:28.360 Manchuria
00:39:28.980 they said
00:39:29.760 the only problem
00:39:30.300 with Manchuria
00:39:31.060 is all the Manchurians
00:39:32.280 that sounds familiar
00:39:33.440 and so they invaded
00:39:35.520 and they started
00:39:36.120 a mass slaughter
00:39:37.180 mass slaughter
00:39:38.920 all of the
00:39:40.740 you know
00:39:41.160 the bad bombings
00:39:42.480 of civilians
00:39:43.300 that happened
00:39:44.620 years before
00:39:45.660 we were doing it
00:39:47.280 or the Germans
00:39:47.900 were doing it
00:39:48.580 it started
00:39:49.300 in 37
00:39:49.940 in China
00:39:51.940 with the Japanese
00:39:53.220 well where was
00:39:54.240 the white man
00:39:54.760 now you know
00:39:56.260 where the white man
00:39:56.940 was
00:39:57.300 you know how
00:39:58.340 history reflects
00:39:59.140 this now
00:39:59.720 America
00:40:01.400 didn't say
00:40:02.220 anything
00:40:02.640 at the time
00:40:03.740 America
00:40:04.720 didn't step up
00:40:05.820 to the plate
00:40:06.460 and stop
00:40:07.680 the slaughter
00:40:08.820 in China
00:40:10.900 so wait a minute
00:40:12.260 hold it
00:40:12.820 just a second
00:40:13.340 so are we
00:40:14.260 supposed to get
00:40:15.260 involved in everything
00:40:16.340 or are we
00:40:17.200 not supposed
00:40:17.960 to be involved
00:40:18.880 in everything
00:40:19.460 when we get
00:40:20.620 involved
00:40:21.200 you blame us
00:40:22.080 for getting
00:40:22.500 involved
00:40:23.020 and saying
00:40:23.560 we're trying
00:40:24.180 to jam
00:40:24.920 our stuff
00:40:25.780 down everybody's
00:40:26.900 throat
00:40:27.200 when we don't
00:40:29.180 show up
00:40:29.720 you blame us
00:40:30.920 for not showing
00:40:31.840 up
00:40:32.340 either way
00:40:34.420 according to you
00:40:35.460 we violated
00:40:36.440 quote our
00:40:37.220 values
00:40:38.120 what are our
00:40:40.300 values
00:40:40.900 well our
00:40:43.500 values used
00:40:44.400 to be
00:40:44.880 we are
00:40:46.320 enemy of
00:40:47.280 no one
00:40:48.080 friend all
00:40:49.140 now that
00:40:50.860 gets a little
00:40:51.440 dicey
00:40:52.280 gets really
00:40:54.400 dicey
00:40:55.460 didn't get
00:40:56.940 dicey
00:40:57.620 apparently
00:40:58.440 when the
00:40:59.380 Japanese
00:40:59.880 invaded China
00:41:01.140 yeah that's
00:41:03.180 because they
00:41:03.520 only care about
00:41:04.160 Europe
00:41:04.540 no actually
00:41:05.960 no
00:41:06.540 we couldn't
00:41:08.280 fight on all
00:41:09.340 of the fronts
00:41:10.020 we had to
00:41:12.020 choose
00:41:12.440 we didn't even
00:41:13.300 want to go
00:41:13.680 save Europe
00:41:14.420 America didn't
00:41:16.340 even want to
00:41:17.060 go into that
00:41:17.820 war
00:41:18.260 well how could
00:41:20.540 you
00:41:20.740 oh my gosh
00:41:22.000 how could
00:41:22.460 you
00:41:22.660 it's Europe
00:41:23.560 wait a minute
00:41:24.480 wait a minute
00:41:25.580 we're supposed
00:41:26.500 to go save
00:41:27.400 the white
00:41:27.980 patriarchy
00:41:29.080 where
00:41:29.420 wait a minute
00:41:30.520 we're to blame
00:41:31.700 for all of that
00:41:32.480 because we didn't
00:41:33.380 go in and save
00:41:34.280 the white
00:41:34.680 hierarchy
00:41:35.200 I thought you
00:41:35.680 just said that
00:41:36.160 was bad
00:41:36.580 and should be
00:41:36.960 destroyed
00:41:37.460 this is the
00:41:42.140 best of the
00:41:42.740 Glenn Beck
00:41:43.100 program
00:41:43.660 Allison in Kentucky
00:41:50.560 thanks for holding
00:41:51.320 you're on the
00:41:51.740 Glenn Beck
00:41:52.040 program
00:41:52.500 good morning
00:41:54.200 Glenn
00:41:54.620 it's so difficult
00:41:55.780 to hear you
00:41:56.360 struggling this
00:41:57.120 morning
00:41:57.560 maybe I can
00:41:58.700 give you and
00:41:59.200 some of the
00:41:59.660 long-time
00:42:00.160 listeners some
00:42:00.840 advice
00:42:01.260 okay
00:42:02.000 I'm not
00:42:02.920 really
00:42:03.100 I've been a
00:42:07.420 subscriber to
00:42:07.940 this network
00:42:08.380 since it was
00:42:08.840 GBTV
00:42:09.460 we hear it
00:42:10.220 in your voice
00:42:10.660 when you're
00:42:11.000 struggling a bit
00:42:11.600 more than
00:42:11.980 usual
00:42:12.640 okay
00:42:13.160 my advice
00:42:14.640 is make it
00:42:16.220 tangible
00:42:16.620 because there's
00:42:17.620 so many of us
00:42:18.280 that tune in
00:42:18.880 every day
00:42:19.340 and listen to
00:42:20.420 this broadcast
00:42:20.880 but then we
00:42:22.000 don't make it
00:42:22.500 tangible
00:42:22.860 and even you
00:42:24.140 were saying
00:42:24.480 that you
00:42:24.720 haven't been
00:42:25.040 doing your
00:42:25.360 shows
00:42:25.620 you haven't
00:42:25.940 been out
00:42:26.180 on the
00:42:26.340 road for
00:42:26.640 a while
00:42:26.780 I think
00:42:27.100 it's going
00:42:27.380 to be so
00:42:27.860 good for
00:42:28.200 you because
00:42:28.620 you need
00:42:29.100 to connect
00:42:29.620 with the
00:42:29.980 people
00:42:30.280 yes I
00:42:30.780 agree
00:42:31.000 my friend
00:42:31.560 and I
00:42:32.300 truly
00:42:33.040 I have a
00:42:34.140 friend of
00:42:34.500 mine
00:42:34.660 that's a
00:42:35.040 Vietnam
00:42:35.320 veteran
00:42:35.680 in his
00:42:36.120 70s
00:42:36.580 and we
00:42:36.880 went all
00:42:37.260 the way
00:42:37.480 we live
00:42:37.960 in Ashland
00:42:38.360 Kentucky
00:42:38.720 we got
00:42:39.680 up at
00:42:39.940 2am
00:42:40.420 drove 6
00:42:41.140 hours to
00:42:41.620 Illinois
00:42:41.900 for the
00:42:42.780 Trump rally
00:42:43.700 this weekend
00:42:44.320 on Saturday
00:42:44.800 and then
00:42:46.520 stood for
00:42:47.620 11 hours
00:42:48.200 straight
00:42:48.540 because we
00:42:49.160 were told
00:42:49.640 the first
00:42:49.960 2,000 people
00:42:50.800 in line
00:42:51.120 would get
00:42:51.460 into the
00:42:51.900 hangar
00:42:52.180 and we
00:42:53.000 knew we
00:42:53.240 were going
00:42:53.520 to get
00:42:53.800 that way
00:42:54.200 and as
00:42:54.780 we got
00:42:55.020 through
00:42:55.180 security
00:42:55.540 I'm
00:42:55.760 looking at
00:42:56.100 George
00:42:56.360 saying
00:42:56.580 oh I
00:42:56.900 can't
00:42:57.080 wait
00:42:57.220 to sit
00:42:57.560 down
00:42:57.940 and you
00:42:58.560 get to
00:42:58.760 the
00:42:58.880 hangar
00:42:59.140 and there
00:42:59.320 were no
00:42:59.600 seats
00:42:59.880 so there's
00:43:00.700 the reality
00:43:01.160 of we're
00:43:01.840 going to be
00:43:02.160 standing
00:43:02.380 another
00:43:02.900 6 hours
00:43:03.560 on concrete
00:43:04.160 so what
00:43:04.660 you're saying
00:43:05.320 is this
00:43:05.840 president
00:43:06.300 is a liar
00:43:07.280 I'm sorry
00:43:08.620 just playing
00:43:09.120 CNN for a
00:43:10.520 second
00:43:10.720 go ahead
00:43:11.300 tell the story
00:43:11.780 they can say
00:43:13.240 it as much
00:43:13.780 as they want
00:43:14.340 you know
00:43:14.640 we were
00:43:15.260 standing in
00:43:15.700 line
00:43:15.860 making fun
00:43:16.540 of the
00:43:17.100 Carbondale
00:43:17.780 Solidarity
00:43:18.660 Network
00:43:19.000 which was
00:43:19.440 a socialist
00:43:19.920 group
00:43:20.300 that was
00:43:21.020 coming to
00:43:21.540 protest
00:43:21.800 they had
00:43:22.220 to have
00:43:22.460 their
00:43:22.600 11am
00:43:23.300 pancake
00:43:23.920 breakfast
00:43:24.520 before they
00:43:25.200 came to
00:43:25.640 protest
00:43:26.120 and you
00:43:27.220 know
00:43:27.320 we were
00:43:27.960 joking
00:43:28.300 well do
00:43:28.840 you think
00:43:29.060 there were
00:43:29.320 vegan
00:43:29.600 and gluten
00:43:30.120 free options
00:43:30.820 to go along
00:43:31.420 with that
00:43:31.920 but there
00:43:33.500 were over
00:43:33.940 10,000
00:43:34.580 people there
00:43:35.640 for the
00:43:36.100 rally
00:43:36.340 and less
00:43:36.840 than 75
00:43:37.380 people showed
00:43:38.180 up to
00:43:38.480 protest
00:43:38.900 there was
00:43:39.920 not a
00:43:40.240 piece of
00:43:40.560 I've heard
00:43:41.000 you say
00:43:41.460 this about
00:43:42.220 your
00:43:42.540 functions
00:43:43.200 when you've
00:43:43.600 had the
00:43:43.860 restoring
00:43:44.220 functions
00:43:44.680 there was
00:43:45.400 no garbage
00:43:46.020 you would
00:43:46.680 never know
00:43:47.100 there was
00:43:47.380 10,000
00:43:47.860 people there
00:43:48.400 no one
00:43:48.800 was complaining
00:43:49.540 I kind of
00:43:51.280 had to warm
00:43:51.660 up to
00:43:51.980 Trump
00:43:52.240 myself
00:43:52.600 and I
00:43:53.000 was
00:43:53.200 intimidated
00:43:53.580 to go
00:43:54.100 to one
00:43:54.380 of these
00:43:54.600 things
00:43:54.860 because I
00:43:55.380 was afraid
00:43:55.820 if I said
00:43:56.240 one negative
00:43:56.840 thing
00:43:57.180 I was going
00:43:58.000 to be
00:43:58.260 completely
00:43:58.600 shouted
00:43:58.940 down
00:43:59.300 no people
00:44:00.260 were so
00:44:00.700 open
00:44:01.220 about
00:44:01.540 talking
00:44:02.100 and if
00:44:03.240 someone had
00:44:03.680 to go
00:44:03.880 to the
00:44:04.080 bathroom
00:44:04.400 and their
00:44:05.040 child
00:44:05.340 stayed
00:44:05.620 with us
00:44:06.040 you're
00:44:06.420 a group
00:44:06.740 of 10,000
00:44:07.300 people
00:44:07.620 you trust
00:44:08.040 strangers
00:44:08.420 to watch
00:44:08.820 your child
00:44:09.220 while you
00:44:09.960 run and do
00:44:10.780 an errand
00:44:11.080 and come
00:44:11.360 back real
00:44:11.720 quick
00:44:11.980 it was
00:44:13.000 such a
00:44:13.900 positive
00:44:14.400 environment
00:44:15.060 and it's
00:44:15.900 like the
00:44:16.120 president
00:44:16.400 just happened
00:44:16.820 to show
00:44:17.120 up
00:44:17.740 and I'm
00:44:19.960 so glad
00:44:20.520 he's actually
00:44:21.300 going to be
00:44:21.940 in Huntington
00:44:22.760 on Friday
00:44:23.540 which is
00:44:23.900 five miles
00:44:24.360 away from
00:44:24.700 where I
00:44:24.980 live
00:44:25.200 but I'm
00:44:25.520 so glad
00:44:25.880 I went
00:44:26.100 to Illinois
00:44:26.480 because I
00:44:27.460 remember
00:44:27.660 standing in
00:44:28.160 line and
00:44:28.560 seeing the
00:44:30.200 headline break
00:44:31.100 about the
00:44:31.520 shooting
00:44:31.780 and we
00:44:33.520 also went
00:44:34.300 through the
00:44:34.700 doubt of
00:44:35.320 whether the
00:44:35.780 president was
00:44:36.240 going to
00:44:36.520 show up
00:44:36.880 or not
00:44:37.260 and this
00:44:38.060 is after
00:44:38.320 we'd gotten
00:44:38.680 in the
00:44:38.880 hangar
00:44:39.120 and we'd
00:44:39.340 been standing
00:44:39.780 there for
00:44:40.160 two hours
00:44:40.700 but we
00:44:41.400 never gave
00:44:41.960 up hope
00:44:42.420 and we
00:44:42.820 all
00:44:43.880 we had jokes
00:44:45.500 of conservatives
00:44:46.600 the one
00:44:46.980 thing liberals
00:44:47.440 can do
00:44:47.720 better than
00:44:48.100 us
00:44:48.320 is chant
00:44:48.880 we can't
00:44:49.440 chant
00:44:49.680 it's like
00:44:50.040 we need
00:44:50.260 classes
00:44:50.580 or something
00:44:51.040 yeah no we
00:44:51.520 suck at that
00:44:52.060 and I'm glad
00:44:52.940 we suck at that
00:44:53.540 I'm really glad
00:44:54.220 we suck at that
00:44:55.060 but you know
00:44:57.080 it was such
00:44:58.580 a positive
00:44:59.140 environment
00:44:59.680 and our
00:45:00.560 legs were
00:45:01.300 just
00:45:01.800 killing us
00:45:03.360 by the time
00:45:03.800 that he got
00:45:04.280 there
00:45:04.600 and George
00:45:06.260 and I
00:45:06.480 drove back
00:45:06.900 that night
00:45:07.440 it was a
00:45:07.940 28 hour
00:45:08.880 road trip
00:45:09.500 that we took
00:45:10.140 for this
00:45:10.440 experience
00:45:10.940 and as
00:45:11.840 exhausted
00:45:12.260 as we were
00:45:12.780 and as
00:45:13.100 much as
00:45:13.560 we were
00:45:13.820 aching
00:45:14.240 George
00:45:14.980 looks at
00:45:15.320 me and
00:45:15.520 says he's
00:45:15.900 doing one
00:45:16.300 in Missouri
00:45:16.660 later this
00:45:17.200 week isn't
00:45:17.700 he how
00:45:18.000 far is
00:45:18.400 that well
00:45:18.720 that one
00:45:19.060 that one
00:45:19.420 was just
00:45:19.720 six hours
00:45:20.200 Missouri
00:45:20.520 was going
00:45:20.920 to be
00:45:21.180 eight
00:45:21.420 but we
00:45:21.740 were going
00:45:22.020 to go
00:45:22.580 until we
00:45:23.400 found out
00:45:23.800 that this
00:45:24.080 one was
00:45:24.360 going to
00:45:24.640 happen
00:45:24.820 right across
00:45:25.240 the river
00:45:25.660 on Friday
00:45:26.340 so fine
00:45:27.920 make it
00:45:28.520 tangible
00:45:29.120 that's the
00:45:30.100 best thing
00:45:30.720 I can say
00:45:31.520 is go
00:45:32.200 and meet
00:45:32.640 these other
00:45:33.100 people
00:45:33.520 10,000
00:45:35.240 to 75
00:45:36.200 we're very
00:45:38.220 quiet
00:45:38.680 people but
00:45:39.560 you
00:45:40.140 got to
00:45:40.560 this rally
00:45:41.080 and there
00:45:41.480 was just
00:45:42.040 an energy
00:45:42.700 that was
00:45:43.200 there that
00:45:43.660 you realize
00:45:44.400 there's hope
00:45:45.960 for society
00:45:46.540 because granted
00:45:47.740 I got up
00:45:48.180 and went to
00:45:48.540 Walmart
00:45:48.760 the next
00:45:49.120 morning
00:45:49.380 and people
00:45:49.780 are cutting
00:45:50.120 you off
00:45:50.440 to get
00:45:50.660 to the
00:45:50.840 best
00:45:50.980 parking
00:45:51.300 spot
00:45:51.660 and you're
00:45:51.900 like well
00:45:52.180 yep I'm
00:45:52.660 home
00:45:52.840 Allison hang
00:45:54.800 on a second
00:45:55.240 I want to
00:45:55.820 get you a
00:45:56.180 copy of
00:45:56.600 my book
00:45:57.180 I signed
00:45:57.820 it and I'll
00:45:58.060 send it out
00:45:58.440 to you
00:45:58.660 thank you so
00:45:59.280 much for
00:45:59.580 holding
00:45:59.800 and thanks
00:46:00.560 for sharing
00:46:02.240 that
00:46:02.660 that is
00:46:04.120 maybe if
00:46:05.740 am I
00:46:06.620 struggling
00:46:06.940 today
00:46:07.280 do you feel
00:46:08.400 like I'm
00:46:08.660 struggling
00:46:08.900 today because
00:46:09.320 I don't
00:46:09.500 feel like I'm
00:46:09.880 struggling
00:46:10.120 today I'm
00:46:10.560 a little
00:46:11.220 frustrated
00:46:11.820 at
00:46:12.120 I'm frustrated
00:46:16.180 that we
00:46:16.740 concentrate on
00:46:17.440 all the wrong
00:46:18.020 things and I
00:46:19.340 think that's
00:46:19.700 kind of what
00:46:20.040 she's saying
00:46:20.440 here
00:46:20.800 these aren't
00:46:22.600 the things we
00:46:23.160 should be
00:46:23.480 concentrating on
00:46:24.320 you know the
00:46:24.720 the president
00:46:25.860 being an
00:46:27.440 anti-Semite
00:46:28.300 Jesus
00:46:29.000 daughter is
00:46:29.960 Jewish
00:46:30.620 you know
00:46:32.880 how many
00:46:33.120 clan members
00:46:33.800 are cool
00:46:34.180 with that
00:46:34.600 I don't
00:46:36.280 think any
00:46:36.880 relatively few
00:46:38.340 yeah how
00:46:38.760 many how
00:46:39.120 many Nazis
00:46:39.780 were like
00:46:41.000 oh you
00:46:41.440 know what
00:46:41.880 yeah okay
00:46:42.780 so my
00:46:43.380 daughter's gonna
00:46:43.960 marry this
00:46:44.480 Jewish guy
00:46:45.100 she's gonna
00:46:45.680 become Jewish
00:46:46.400 that's great
00:46:47.320 that doesn't
00:46:48.180 happen
00:46:48.660 again when
00:46:49.620 you're talking
00:46:50.040 about American
00:46:51.820 Jews one of
00:46:52.520 the main things
00:46:53.240 they've asked
00:46:53.680 the president
00:46:54.140 for for how
00:46:55.120 many generations
00:46:56.100 was to move
00:46:56.980 the capital
00:46:57.520 back to
00:46:58.120 Jerusalem
00:46:58.540 and this is
00:46:59.520 the guy that
00:46:59.940 did it
00:47:00.340 I mean he
00:47:01.420 you know
00:47:02.080 look
00:47:02.440 it's insane
00:47:04.160 it boils down
00:47:06.200 to these
00:47:06.600 ridiculous
00:47:07.340 summaries
00:47:09.900 of what a
00:47:11.560 person believes
00:47:12.260 you're telling
00:47:12.880 me you can't
00:47:13.500 criticize someone
00:47:14.600 on the left
00:47:15.980 that you disagree
00:47:16.860 with politically
00:47:17.360 because they're
00:47:18.100 Jewish because
00:47:18.760 then you get
00:47:19.280 called an
00:47:19.620 anti-Semite
00:47:20.280 the same way
00:47:21.240 like a liberal
00:47:22.060 should be able
00:47:23.060 to criticize
00:47:23.620 without fear
00:47:24.440 of being called
00:47:24.880 a racist
00:47:25.260 Clarence Thomas
00:47:25.940 they should be
00:47:26.620 able to say
00:47:26.900 I think he's
00:47:27.320 wrong on the
00:47:27.860 on the constitution
00:47:28.620 they should
00:47:29.100 absolutely be able
00:47:30.020 to do that
00:47:30.460 without being
00:47:31.040 called racist
00:47:31.720 but this
00:47:32.780 this bizarre
00:47:33.740 thing and this
00:47:34.240 is carried out
00:47:34.840 today not by
00:47:36.120 you know
00:47:36.940 Mother Jones
00:47:38.440 in the Huffington
00:47:39.020 Post where
00:47:39.600 you'd expect it
00:47:40.340 but every
00:47:41.300 mainstream media
00:47:42.180 source asking
00:47:43.160 question after
00:47:43.900 question after
00:47:44.440 question what
00:47:45.280 part of this
00:47:45.840 give me a
00:47:46.620 percentage tell
00:47:47.500 me please how
00:47:48.380 much of this is
00:47:49.040 Donald Trump's
00:47:49.560 fault so here's
00:47:50.380 let me let me
00:47:51.000 do what Allison
00:47:52.560 just said let's
00:47:53.680 make it tangible
00:47:54.360 here is Joe
00:47:56.620 Lieberman on a
00:47:58.040 very frustrating
00:47:58.960 interview
00:47:59.820 with CNN
00:48:01.260 listen to this
00:48:02.300 well it's a
00:48:03.080 shocking moment
00:48:03.840 I mean I
00:48:04.480 we view it all
00:48:05.720 through our own
00:48:06.240 experience I
00:48:07.060 have had a life
00:48:08.420 as a Jewish
00:48:09.120 American which
00:48:10.600 has been
00:48:11.080 not only free
00:48:12.620 of anti-Semitism
00:48:13.840 but I've had
00:48:15.540 this opportunity
00:48:16.240 to be elected
00:48:17.200 senator from a
00:48:18.740 state Connecticut
00:48:19.540 where the Jewish
00:48:20.540 population is about
00:48:21.580 two percent and
00:48:22.420 then Al Gore
00:48:23.800 gives me the
00:48:24.400 chance to run
00:48:25.120 for vice president
00:48:26.900 first Jewish
00:48:27.600 American on a
00:48:28.380 national ticket
00:48:29.160 really I faced
00:48:32.640 no anti-Semitism
00:48:34.000 and forgive me
00:48:36.560 for going back
00:48:37.440 to the end
00:48:37.940 of the 2000
00:48:38.560 election we
00:48:39.540 actually got
00:48:40.040 500,000 more
00:48:41.140 votes than the
00:48:41.600 other ticket
00:48:42.100 which was a
00:48:43.580 reflection in
00:48:44.460 numbers that
00:48:45.340 people weren't
00:48:45.980 voting based on
00:48:47.640 religion so
00:48:48.500 when something
00:48:49.280 like this happens
00:48:50.800 it's shocking
00:48:52.280 and it changes
00:48:53.260 that reality
00:48:54.140 but I believe
00:48:55.200 the reality is
00:48:56.420 that the American
00:48:57.580 people are very
00:48:58.520 fair-minded not
00:48:59.700 bigoted and you
00:49:00.560 saw it in the
00:49:01.440 wholesome reaction
00:49:03.020 of the neighbors
00:49:05.160 who were not
00:49:05.940 Jewish in
00:49:06.520 Squirrel Hill
00:49:07.060 Pittsburgh and
00:49:08.200 in the elected
00:49:08.780 officials there it
00:49:09.660 was very genuine
00:49:10.520 and of course this
00:49:12.500 does not please
00:49:13.260 CNN this is not
00:49:14.820 what they wanted
00:49:15.360 out of Joe Lieberman
00:49:16.040 they didn't bring
00:49:16.520 him on to say
00:49:17.440 that he had a
00:49:17.920 good experience
00:49:18.640 as an American
00:49:19.340 they didn't bring
00:49:20.540 him on to say
00:49:21.380 positive things
00:49:22.480 they brought him
00:49:23.480 on to clarify
00:49:24.640 exactly what
00:49:25.740 portion of this
00:49:26.560 is Donald Trump's
00:49:27.380 fault tell us
00:49:28.520 so we don't have
00:49:29.180 to say it
00:49:29.740 say he's responsible
00:49:31.200 so we can have
00:49:32.360 plausible deniability
00:49:33.580 that this is
00:49:34.720 exactly what we
00:49:35.860 believe we don't
00:49:37.180 want to come out
00:49:37.660 and say it 5,000
00:49:38.740 times we'll just
00:49:39.440 hint to it you
00:49:40.260 say it okay
00:49:41.060 is essentially the
00:49:42.280 way they lead
00:49:42.620 into this next
00:49:43.200 question and
00:49:44.160 again he is
00:49:45.540 not giving them
00:49:46.300 what they want
00:49:47.240 to hear
00:49:47.520 listen
00:49:47.940 do you believe
00:49:49.080 that there are
00:49:49.880 those who perceive
00:49:50.880 those to be
00:49:51.680 anti-semitic dog
00:49:52.620 whistles when you
00:49:53.200 see one of the
00:49:54.000 closing ads of
00:49:54.680 his campaign
00:49:55.360 George Soros
00:49:57.080 Janet Yellen
00:49:58.660 Lloyd Blankfein
00:49:59.680 from Goldman Sachs
00:50:01.040 with dark
00:50:01.860 ominous pictures
00:50:02.820 and talking about
00:50:03.700 the money in the
00:50:04.320 international banking
00:50:05.180 is that something
00:50:06.580 that sends a message
00:50:07.800 yeah well the first
00:50:09.040 thing I want to say
00:50:09.700 is that in my
00:50:10.440 opinion this brutal
00:50:12.340 murder in Pittsburgh
00:50:13.900 really had to
00:50:15.280 was committed by
00:50:16.580 a hateful loner
00:50:18.340 who was probably
00:50:19.340 more stimulated
00:50:21.100 by anti-semitism
00:50:23.860 in social media
00:50:25.820 than by anything
00:50:27.000 else going around
00:50:27.840 him
00:50:27.980 he was against
00:50:29.000 President Trump
00:50:30.580 and it's
00:50:30.880 real
00:50:31.180 I was glad to see
00:50:32.720 that this website
00:50:33.900 is taking itself
00:50:34.720 down for a while
00:50:36.520 and all the
00:50:37.440 social media people
00:50:38.480 have to ask
00:50:39.140 whether they're
00:50:39.660 becoming vehicles
00:50:40.900 for this kind
00:50:42.220 of hatred
00:50:42.840 but more generally
00:50:44.220 I think all of us
00:50:45.840 have to
00:50:47.360 beginning with
00:50:48.340 the president
00:50:48.960 Democratic and
00:50:50.260 Republican leaders
00:50:51.120 in Congress
00:50:51.720 people in the media
00:50:52.740 conventional media
00:50:54.500 and the more
00:50:55.020 unconventional social
00:50:57.040 media have to
00:50:57.680 ask ourselves
00:50:58.540 to what extent
00:51:00.040 are we contributing
00:51:01.280 to the division
00:51:02.880 in our society
00:51:03.780 Charlie Dent
00:51:04.420 and I have worked
00:51:05.000 together in a group
00:51:05.740 called No Labels
00:51:06.560 trying to overcome
00:51:07.780 the way the parties
00:51:09.560 have become
00:51:10.100 like warring tribes
00:51:11.400 but this goes
00:51:12.540 beyond that
00:51:13.440 he just said tribe
00:51:14.400 he just said tribe
00:51:15.120 he did
00:51:15.780 so what would I say
00:51:17.420 when the president
00:51:18.580 makes a constructive
00:51:20.120 statement about unity
00:51:21.260 let's praise him
00:51:23.100 for it
00:51:24.000 and urge him
00:51:24.800 to build on it
00:51:25.800 and think about
00:51:27.140 ways in which
00:51:28.180 he can act
00:51:29.820 so that no one
00:51:30.640 can ever say
00:51:31.680 he somehow
00:51:33.380 is responsible
00:51:34.280 for violence
00:51:35.700 or hatred
00:51:36.720 again that's a
00:51:37.760 the Joe Lieberman
00:51:38.720 47 minute response
00:51:40.160 but I mean you get
00:51:41.000 the summary there
00:51:41.620 I mean first of all
00:51:42.380 this guy was not
00:51:43.340 pro-Trump
00:51:43.820 not
00:51:44.320 I mean he was
00:51:45.660 viscerally
00:51:47.100 anti-Trump
00:51:48.600 in a way of
00:51:49.620 he you know what
00:51:50.220 I don't like about
00:51:50.800 Donald Trump
00:51:51.260 is he's too nice
00:51:51.980 to Jews
00:51:52.440 that is essentially
00:51:53.340 what the guy was
00:51:53.940 saying on his
00:51:54.560 social network
00:51:55.080 over and over
00:51:55.680 and over and over
00:51:56.300 again
00:51:56.560 so he was not
00:51:57.760 a pro-Trump guy
00:51:58.520 that shot up
00:51:59.000 this synagogue
00:51:59.880 and you know
00:52:01.300 like it's important
00:52:03.100 to make that
00:52:03.500 distinction
00:52:03.860 and how do you
00:52:04.460 bring people together
00:52:05.120 the exact opposite
00:52:06.320 of what CNN's
00:52:06.960 trying to do
00:52:07.520 in that clip
00:52:08.060 he called
00:52:08.860 I mean without
00:52:09.420 saying he does it
00:52:10.160 in the nicest
00:52:10.520 Joe Lieberman
00:52:11.120 possible way
00:52:11.880 right
00:52:12.180 but what he's
00:52:13.000 saying is
00:52:13.320 what you're
00:52:13.840 doing right
00:52:14.940 now
00:52:15.220 by trying to
00:52:16.900 make this
00:52:17.260 into a situation
00:52:18.180 where it's
00:52:18.560 Trump is blamed
00:52:19.420 what we should
00:52:20.180 do is wrong
00:52:20.820 what we should
00:52:21.240 do instead
00:52:21.640 is when he
00:52:22.360 says something
00:52:23.000 that we think
00:52:23.940 helps the
00:52:24.520 environment
00:52:24.840 we should
00:52:25.200 praise it
00:52:25.740 sure certainly
00:52:26.680 generally speaking
00:52:27.740 we have an
00:52:28.380 issue with our
00:52:29.120 discourse
00:52:29.400 I think I
00:52:29.840 think almost
00:52:30.320 everybody would
00:52:31.080 agree with
00:52:31.460 that
00:52:31.640 but when it
00:52:33.240 comes to this
00:52:33.660 shooting
00:52:33.920 it's not
00:52:34.760 related
00:52:35.160 the blaze radio
00:52:36.680 network
00:52:37.340 on demand
