00:00:00.000 The Blaze Radio Network, on demand.
00:00:08.180 Lots to talk about today. We need to tell you the latest from Google.
00:00:12.300 They have just canceled an all-hands-on-deck discussion about that memo.
00:00:18.240 Apparently, they think that might go poorly for them, so they have just canceled that meeting.
00:00:24.240 We want to talk to you a little bit about Bill O'Reilly and Bill O'Reilly's new TV show.
00:00:32.500 Bill O'Reilly, the press on this is absolutely stunning. He's going to be joining us next hour.
00:00:38.160 And let's give you your quick update here on North Korea and war.
00:00:45.680 A government-run Chinese newspaper said yesterday that China is going to stay neutral
00:00:51.860 if North Korea attacks the United States.
00:00:55.160 But if the United States goes for a first strike, they will side with North Korea and will move to stop us.
00:01:03.760 Good. Could China stop us?
00:01:07.880 Well, yeah.
00:01:10.620 It's been over 60 years since we have clashed with theirs,
00:01:13.840 but U.S. troops have gotten the better of the Chinese forces that poured across the border in the Korean War.
00:01:20.380 But things have changed for both sides.
00:01:24.760 As the media strangely and perversely tries to push President Trump towards a confrontation
00:01:31.240 or even a nuclear strike in North Korea,
00:01:34.340 the rest of us need to be pushing for calm and diplomacy.
00:01:39.580 The president claimed over and over and over again that he is a great negotiator.
00:01:43.780 He can get us the greatest deal.
00:01:45.520 Well, if that's true, there has never been a time when those skills would come in more handy than right now.
00:01:52.060 What America does not need is a war with North Korea.
00:01:56.060 And we certainly don't need a war with our biggest investor
00:02:01.840 And of course, I feel like I have to remind the press, but not the American people.
00:02:18.580 Every American knows and understands the insanity of exchanging nuclear blows.
00:02:23.040 Apart from the catastrophic loss of life and the escalation of war,
00:02:27.980 the likes of which the world has never seen,
00:02:31.240 it would bring economic disaster.
00:02:33.760 And in case somebody on the left coast happens to be listening to this,
00:02:38.620 imagine the damage for climate change.
00:02:41.880 Every elected official and every media source should be shouting the devastating effects from the rooftops.
00:02:51.200 And if they're not, find yourself a new politician or a new party to follow
00:02:57.280 and find a new media source and do that right now.
00:03:02.100 I will make a stand, I will raise my voice, I will hold your hand
00:03:09.700 Cause we are one, I will beat my drum
00:03:13.880 I have made my choice, we will overcome
00:03:17.820 Cause we are one
00:03:20.600 The fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.
00:03:24.320 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:03:28.100 So because of a fear of leaks,
00:03:32.960 Google has cancelled its all-hands-on meeting over the engineer firing fiasco.
00:03:39.520 What is happening in tech?
00:03:42.380 What is happening in Silicon Valley?
00:03:46.000 Jeffy, did you look up Abraham Lincoln for me today?
00:03:49.800 Did you Google him?
00:03:50.440 Can you bring that over to me?
00:03:51.920 I want to see what...
00:03:53.880 What does Google say about Abraham...
00:03:56.240 What does Google say about Abraham Lincoln?
00:03:57.880 And I want everybody to Google right now, Abraham Lincoln.
00:04:03.720 What does Google say about Abraham Lincoln?
00:04:07.900 Now, of course, they're going to give you the whitehouse.gov and the Wikipedia page.
00:04:11.300 But over on the right, you'll see Abraham Lincoln, 16th president.
00:04:15.860 Do you see that?
00:04:16.700 This is the information provided by Google.
00:04:19.300 Abraham Lincoln was the American politician and lawyer who served as 16th president of the United States
00:04:23.720 from March 1861, assassination 1865, born February 12th, 1809, height 6-4, assassinated, April 15th, party.
00:04:33.600 The National Union Party.
00:04:35.560 Wait, what?
00:04:38.220 What?
00:04:39.240 Hang on.
00:04:40.020 He's what?
00:04:40.660 He's the...
00:04:41.280 Huh?
00:04:42.380 The National Union Party?
00:04:45.860 I've not heard of the National Union Party.
00:04:51.840 You want to know the effects of Google.
00:04:55.740 There it is.
00:04:57.620 Unbelievable.
00:04:59.440 There it is.
00:05:02.180 Google is the portal for all information.
00:05:08.020 When Google decides we're going to change that information, it's changed.
00:05:15.260 And who are your kids going to believe?
00:05:17.860 You or Google?
00:05:19.540 When I saw that yesterday, I thought, there is no more important thing than the preservation of the documents
00:05:29.500 that we are preserving right now at Mercury One.
00:05:34.080 There is nothing more important.
00:05:37.380 You want to talk about clay pots.
00:05:40.880 You remember 12, 15 years ago, I started hearing in my prayers, clay pots.
00:05:49.320 When it comes to history, clay pots.
00:05:51.300 And I wondered, is it for our children?
00:05:53.820 And the answer is yes.
00:05:55.480 Is it for the preservation of those documents, like the clay pots, to me, refer to the Dead Sea Scrolls?
00:06:04.340 Once the Nicaean Creed was adopted, and everybody said, this is Christology, this is what the Bible says, and nothing more.
00:06:18.280 The Dead Sea Scrolls became very important.
00:06:22.600 Quick, roll up everything you have and put them in clay pots and bury them deep in caves
00:06:29.740 where no one will find them because they're all going to be destroyed
00:06:34.960 because the early church wanted no dissent
00:06:41.240 and the way you have to destroy the documents.
00:06:47.100 That has never become more important than education for our children.
00:06:53.360 So they know it, but they have to know it with the actual documents
00:06:59.940 because, I'm sorry, I've never heard of the National Union Party.
00:07:06.500 Can somebody tell me?
00:07:07.940 I'm going to Google.
00:07:08.840 I'm just going to click on it.
00:07:10.160 National Union Party.
00:07:11.740 Yeah, it's the Republican Party.
00:07:13.400 It's what they called themselves during that election.
00:07:15.520 Yeah, yeah.
00:07:16.940 Yeah, it's the Republican Party.
00:07:18.740 The name used by the Republican Party.
00:07:20.800 Now, how many are going to say the National Union Party?
00:07:26.640 So, you know, correct, correct.
00:07:32.320 I've never heard it referred to as that.
00:07:35.340 I haven't either.
00:07:35.980 No.
00:07:36.460 So, I guess it's correct.
00:07:41.280 Uh-huh.
00:07:42.880 Or is it one of those facts that most people,
00:07:46.440 because they don't do their own homework,
00:07:48.040 they'll look down here,
00:07:49.560 oh, Abraham Lincoln was not a Republican.
00:07:53.780 He was not a Republican.
00:07:55.200 The Republicans took over after Abraham Lincoln.
00:07:58.420 That's exactly what's coming.
00:08:00.300 That's exactly what's coming.
00:08:02.060 And you know who's going to do it?
00:08:03.360 Not the stupid people,
00:08:04.880 but the people who are in direct control of our universities
00:08:10.380 and the people who control the portal of information.
00:08:16.160 Google should have every libertarian,
00:08:20.600 every classic liberal,
00:08:25.840 and quite honestly,
00:08:26.960 every liberal running for the hills.
00:08:30.540 You want to talk about a takeover of a corporation
00:08:34.520 and making the United States into just one giant corporation,
00:08:39.680 I'll tell you,
00:08:41.040 it's the circle,
00:08:43.200 it's Apple,
00:08:45.180 it's Google,
00:08:47.700 it's Amazon.
00:08:51.680 We're going to be controlled by four corporations.
00:08:55.380 I know that sounds like a conspiracy theory.
00:09:02.380 How are you going to fight
00:09:04.580 the person who has the keys to the library?
00:09:11.480 If the librarian says to your student,
00:09:15.260 the road to serfdom,
00:09:17.760 that doesn't exist.
00:09:18.840 Oh, you're thinking of the road to serfdom.
00:09:23.340 The road to serfdom?
00:09:24.820 That was a nickname for Adam Smith's book,
00:09:29.700 Wealth of Nations,
00:09:30.580 because it actually just turns you into a slave.
00:09:33.460 Now, we don't have a copy of Wealth of Nations.
00:09:35.540 It was discredited a long time ago.
00:09:37.300 But I have some papers here that you can read about it.
00:09:42.100 How hard is that?
00:09:44.040 Now, you're taking that,
00:09:45.040 I'm obviously taking that to the nth degree.
00:09:47.120 But may I just say
00:09:50.580 that the nth degree
00:09:53.520 has passed a long time ago?
00:09:57.100 The nth degree has,
00:09:59.060 I mean, when we are,
00:10:00.680 when I'm not leading the show
00:10:02.720 with, did you see the picture
00:10:05.500 of Chelsea Manning
00:10:07.960 in the swimsuit on the beach?
00:10:12.200 No, unfortunately I did not.
00:10:13.640 Oh no, in Vanity Fair?
00:10:15.240 No.
00:10:15.560 Where they called her?
00:10:17.840 A stunning American beauty?
00:10:20.720 Oh my gosh.
00:10:22.640 I think you would agree, Pat.
00:10:24.300 I'd like to...
00:10:25.260 I think so.
00:10:25.800 I think so, yeah.
00:10:26.600 A stunning American trader?
00:10:28.640 Sure.
00:10:29.440 A stunning American beauty?
00:10:31.420 Go ahead, go to glennbeck.com right now.
00:10:33.360 The picture is up there.
00:10:34.280 No thanks.
00:10:36.680 No, thank you.
00:10:38.160 What the hell is this?
00:10:40.120 So don't tell me
00:10:41.280 that anything is insane anymore.
00:10:44.700 We're there.
00:10:46.540 We're there.
00:10:47.720 We are so far over the cliff.
00:10:49.680 And by the way,
00:10:51.500 I actually,
00:10:52.280 when I saw that last night,
00:10:53.720 I thought,
00:10:54.120 I've got to call Don.
00:10:55.220 I've got to call Don Imus.
00:10:57.220 I, because...
00:10:57.560 I wonder if...
00:10:59.560 Terrible instinct off of that news.
00:11:01.360 Oh, I know.
00:11:02.020 No, no, no.
00:11:02.880 You ready?
00:11:03.960 That was my next thought.
00:11:05.700 I wonder if Don would even say anything anymore.
00:11:09.660 I wonder what the blowback would be
00:11:12.060 for me to put Don Imus on
00:11:14.580 who says,
00:11:16.000 American beauty?
00:11:18.620 Fill in the rest of the Don Imus monologue.
00:11:22.380 You can't have that opinion anymore.
00:11:29.820 Let me go back to Google for a second.
00:11:32.580 You go back to Google
00:11:33.540 and you look at what...
00:11:36.060 Why are women upset?
00:11:39.800 Women are upset
00:11:41.360 because, quite honestly,
00:11:43.540 their new slave owners,
00:11:45.740 the progressive movement,
00:11:47.480 is telling them
00:11:48.640 they're nothing without them.
00:11:53.900 Without this education,
00:11:56.420 without us clearing the path,
00:12:00.220 you don't...
00:12:00.700 You're so stupid,
00:12:01.820 you don't even know you're oppressed.
00:12:03.840 You're so stupid
00:12:05.040 that without us,
00:12:07.600 you'll never make it.
00:12:09.560 I want to play something
00:12:10.820 that happened last night.
00:12:13.380 I took phone calls
00:12:14.580 and this guy calls in
00:12:16.660 and my first reaction
00:12:18.060 as a broadcaster is,
00:12:20.000 how is this my first phone call?
00:12:23.060 Because he is obviously
00:12:25.340 not a good speaker.
00:12:27.220 How is this my first phone call?
00:12:28.980 Why would they put him
00:12:31.760 as number one
00:12:33.120 to take right out of the gates
00:12:34.780 and then
00:12:35.860 I listened
00:12:37.700 to him?
00:12:39.820 Listen to this.
00:12:40.760 Okay.
00:12:43.160 I don't want to take up
00:12:44.740 too much of your time.
00:12:46.540 I know that
00:12:47.780 it's not...
00:12:51.280 Don't have a lot.
00:12:52.720 So,
00:12:52.800 going over what
00:12:55.280 your call screen...
00:12:57.720 I don't want to go
00:12:58.580 into all of it,
00:12:59.140 but I was diagnosed
00:13:01.300 with autism
00:13:02.720 and OCD
00:13:03.780 at 15 years old
00:13:05.960 and I've spent,
00:13:08.840 you know,
00:13:09.040 and I've came across
00:13:09.940 you in 2009-ish
00:13:12.520 or so.
00:13:13.460 So,
00:13:13.960 I was,
00:13:14.480 you know,
00:13:14.940 18,
00:13:15.360 19
00:13:15.640 and you being
00:13:18.440 a presence
00:13:19.360 in my daily life,
00:13:20.620 a part of my life
00:13:21.640 daily has
00:13:23.260 helped me become
00:13:24.700 the man I am
00:13:25.620 today.
00:13:26.500 you being able,
00:13:29.500 you being there
00:13:31.220 in a daily presence
00:13:32.400 and I have gone
00:13:34.020 on to do things
00:13:35.840 that people
00:13:36.720 never thought
00:13:37.600 possible
00:13:38.240 that I could
00:13:39.840 never accomplish
00:13:40.540 or do
00:13:40.980 because of my disorder.
00:13:42.760 They always viewed me
00:13:43.720 as my disease
00:13:44.940 or my disorder
00:13:45.600 rather than
00:13:46.340 as Kevin,
00:13:47.440 as a person.
00:13:49.200 And so,
00:13:50.840 I've been a part
00:13:52.080 like of your program
00:13:53.540 for nine,
00:13:54.820 ten years
00:13:55.320 and it's
00:13:57.280 what's kept
00:13:57.920 me going on.
00:13:58.660 It's what's kept
00:13:59.360 me moving
00:14:00.380 and going
00:14:01.220 and doing things.
00:14:02.840 And I've gone
00:14:04.900 on to,
00:14:06.540 I now
00:14:07.000 independently
00:14:08.180 live on my own.
00:14:09.860 I drive
00:14:11.100 my own car.
00:14:12.240 I've gone,
00:14:13.380 I go to college.
00:14:14.800 I'm in my second
00:14:15.420 year of college
00:14:16.120 with a grade point
00:14:16.980 average of 4.0
00:14:18.280 and I've been able
00:14:21.940 the God's honest truth
00:14:23.900 is if you
00:14:25.140 had not been
00:14:25.960 a part of my life,
00:14:26.600 your program,
00:14:27.180 your inspiration,
00:14:28.080 your empowerment,
00:14:29.080 I would not be
00:14:30.340 where I am
00:14:31.160 today.
00:14:33.040 There are so
00:14:34.500 many places
00:14:36.080 to take that
00:14:37.140 but let me just
00:14:38.940 start with this one.
00:14:39.940 I never told
00:14:44.240 Kevin
00:14:44.620 he wasn't
00:14:45.800 his disease.
00:14:47.700 I've never,
00:14:48.980 that's not,
00:14:50.240 I never did
00:14:52.540 shows
00:14:53.120 on autism
00:14:54.320 or OCD
00:14:55.620 or any of that.
00:14:58.980 Kevin
00:14:59.400 somehow or
00:15:00.280 another
00:15:00.480 heard that
00:15:01.660 from me.
00:15:02.420 Kevin
00:15:05.860 chose
00:15:07.080 to
00:15:08.200 stop
00:15:09.140 being
00:15:09.600 his
00:15:10.080 disease
00:15:11.040 in his words
00:15:13.060 and be
00:15:14.260 Kevin.
00:15:19.100 That is
00:15:20.260 a story
00:15:21.480 that should
00:15:22.760 haunt
00:15:23.280 all of us
00:15:24.380 all day long
00:15:25.700 on multiple
00:15:26.580 fronts
00:15:27.040 but just
00:15:27.600 this one
00:15:28.380 I'm so
00:15:31.720 upset
00:15:32.180 about

00:19:56.180 you
00:19:56.320 think
00:19:56.500 that's
00:19:56.820 bad
00:19:57.020 with
00:19:57.180 Google
00:19:57.500 try
00:19:58.520 this
00:19:58.980 we
00:20:01.540 know
00:20:01.740 the
00:20:01.880 problem
00:20:02.240 now
00:20:04.060 what's
00:20:04.260 the
00:20:04.380 solution
00:20:04.780 educating
00:20:06.280 ourselves
00:20:07.160 knowing
00:20:08.060 the
00:20:08.360 truth
00:20:08.780 the
00:20:09.540 uncomfortable
00:20:10.340 truth
00:20:10.980 the
00:20:11.600 worst
00:20:12.120 of
00:20:12.360 us
00:20:12.620 and
00:20:13.000 the
00:20:13.200 best
00:20:13.540 of
00:20:13.760 us
00:20:14.080 know
00:20:14.900 those
00:20:15.520 things
00:20:16.080 bury
00:20:16.600 it
00:20:16.820 deep
00:20:17.220 inside
00:20:17.960 and
00:20:20.120 know
00:20:20.340 it's
00:20:20.580 true
00:20:20.800 this
00:20:25.560 is
00:20:25.840 the
00:20:25.980 Glenn
00:20:26.240 Beck
00:20:26.500 program
00:20:27.000 all
00:20:28.760 right
00:20:28.980 a couple
00:20:30.100 things
00:20:30.380 I want
00:20:30.580 to
00:20:30.760 talk
00:20:31.760 about
00:20:32.020 we
00:20:32.220 need
00:20:32.420 to
00:20:32.540 get
00:20:32.700 everything
00:20:32.960 off
00:20:33.200 of
00:20:33.340 our
00:20:33.480 desk
00:20:33.740 today
00:20:34.040 guys
00:20:34.360 it's
00:20:34.560 Friday
00:20:34.920 so
00:20:35.240 let's
00:20:35.480 get
00:20:35.700 let's
00:20:36.400 just
00:20:36.500 start
00:20:36.680 going
00:20:36.860 through
00:20:37.040 the
00:20:37.200 stories
00:20:37.480 that
00:20:37.640 we
00:20:37.740 may
00:20:37.940 have
00:20:38.080 missed
00:20:38.440 this
00:20:38.780 week
00:20:39.100 did
00:20:40.680 you
00:20:40.800 see
00:20:41.020 the
00:20:41.340 did
00:20:42.180 you
00:20:42.280 see
00:20:42.420 the
00:20:42.580 two
00:20:42.900 teenage
00:20:43.700 girls
00:20:44.060 that
00:20:44.340 put
00:20:44.520 the
00:20:44.700 crying
00:20:44.960 baby
00:20:45.260 in
00:20:45.440 the
00:20:45.540 refrigerator
00:20:45.980 see the
00:20:47.460 video of
00:20:48.120 this
00:20:48.340 no
00:20:48.740 okay
00:20:49.660 so
00:20:50.080 two
00:20:51.200 teenage
00:20:51.700 babysitters
00:20:52.680 they're
00:20:53.040 from
00:20:53.200 Massachusetts
00:20:53.680 they had
00:20:54.520 they've been
00:20:55.360 arrested
00:20:56.020 and charged
00:20:56.820 with child
00:20:57.320 endangerment
00:20:57.920 and assault
00:20:58.540 they
00:20:59.760 the baby
00:21:01.120 was crying
00:21:01.740 and so
00:21:02.860 they
00:21:03.280 opened the
00:21:04.020 refrigerator
00:21:04.420 door
00:21:04.820 and
00:21:05.480 apparently
00:21:05.860 it's
00:21:06.020 one of
00:21:06.220 those
00:21:06.400 with the
00:21:06.720 window
00:21:07.140 in it
00:21:07.660 that
00:21:07.760 you
00:21:07.860 can
00:21:08.000 see
00:21:08.300 and
00:21:09.940 they
00:21:10.480 just
00:21:10.720 put
00:21:11.020 the
00:21:11.200 baby
00:21:11.460 in the
00:21:11.820 shelf
00:21:12.160 you know
00:21:12.880 to cool
00:21:13.340 down
00:21:13.700 and
00:21:15.340 they're
00:21:15.760 laughing
00:21:16.180 and
00:21:16.900 and
00:21:17.780 you know
00:21:18.360 they're smart
00:21:18.760 enough to take a video
00:21:19.740 of this
00:21:20.300 abuse
00:21:20.800 and
00:21:21.800 and they're laughing
00:21:23.020 about it
00:21:23.700 and
00:21:24.320 post it
00:21:25.860 post it
00:21:26.540 so what
00:21:27.160 happens
00:21:27.560 well
00:21:29.200 they're
00:21:29.440 arrested
00:21:29.800 how
00:21:31.300 mad
00:21:31.680 would
00:21:31.860 you
00:21:32.000 be
00:21:32.240 as
00:21:32.600 a
00:21:32.720 mom
00:21:32.920 right
00:21:35.860 how
00:21:36.340 mad
00:21:36.560 would
00:21:36.700 you
00:21:36.800 be
00:21:36.920 as
00:21:37.060 a
00:21:37.180 dad
00:21:37.420 well
00:21:38.140 mom
00:21:39.460 is
00:21:40.360 defending
00:21:40.760 the
00:21:40.940 girls
00:21:41.180 because
00:21:41.460 one
00:21:41.900 of
00:21:41.980 the
00:21:42.080 girls
00:21:42.320 is
00:21:42.520 a
00:21:42.680 niece
00:21:42.960 and
00:21:44.480 she's
00:21:45.080 like
00:21:45.220 hey
00:21:45.360 she
00:21:45.520 didn't
00:21:45.960 mean
00:21:46.300 it
00:21:46.860 you know
00:21:47.480 they
00:21:47.780 weren't
00:21:47.960 trying
00:21:48.120 to be
00:21:48.340 mean
00:21:48.660 to
00:21:48.780 the
00:21:48.880 baby
00:21:49.140 they
00:21:49.380 just
00:21:49.580 thought
00:21:49.740 it
00:21:49.860 would
00:21:49.980 be
00:21:50.160 funny
00:21:50.640 oh
00:21:51.320 really
00:21:51.680 yeah
00:21:52.240 and
00:21:53.400 you
00:21:53.620 know
00:21:53.740 I'm
00:21:53.980 just
00:21:54.140 not
00:21:54.340 going
00:21:54.420 to
00:21:54.500 have
00:21:54.700 her
00:21:54.940 babysit
00:21:55.980 again
00:21:56.320 well
00:21:58.040 yeah
00:21:58.200 that
00:21:58.380 would
00:21:58.500 be
00:21:58.840 a
00:21:58.980 good
00:21:59.140 start
00:21:59.520 mom
00:21:59.820 that
00:22:00.360 would
00:22:00.480 be
00:22:00.580 a
00:22:00.720 really
00:22:00.920 good
00:22:01.160 start
00:22:01.640 I
00:22:02.780 guess
00:22:03.080 I'm
00:22:03.220 not
00:22:03.340 going
00:22:03.440 to
00:22:03.480 have
00:22:03.620 them
00:22:03.860 babysit
00:22:04.360 again
00:22:04.720 can
00:22:05.140 you
00:22:05.280 imagine
00:22:05.900 what
00:22:06.200 your
00:22:06.420 wife
00:22:06.740 would
00:22:06.920 say
00:22:07.240 I
00:22:08.280 mean
00:22:09.040 my
00:22:09.280 wife
00:22:10.040 would
00:22:10.220 start
00:22:10.500 with
00:22:10.760 honey
00:22:11.140 don't
00:22:11.860 don't
00:22:12.520 don't
00:22:13.620 don't
00:22:14.360 walk
00:22:15.740 away
00:22:15.980 that's
00:22:16.300 the
00:22:16.440 first
00:22:16.720 thing
00:22:17.060 that
00:22:17.600 my
00:22:18.040 wife
00:22:18.300 would
00:22:18.420 have
00:22:18.600 to
00:22:18.740 say
00:22:19.000 because
00:22:19.620 I
00:22:19.840 would
00:22:20.040 be
00:22:20.340 out
00:22:21.000 of
00:22:21.320 my
00:22:21.620 mind
00:22:22.660 my
00:22:25.080 wife
00:22:25.440 would
00:22:25.640 not
00:22:25.880 say
00:22:26.120 well
00:22:26.400 we're
00:22:26.620 not
00:22:26.880 going
00:22:27.080 to
00:22:27.200 hire
00:22:27.500 them
00:22:28.060 again
00:22:28.800 also
00:22:31.620 there's
00:22:31.880 another
00:22:32.100 story
00:22:33.140 this
00:22:33.360 one
00:22:33.500 comes
00:22:33.660 from
00:22:33.800 WSB
00:22:34.460 TV
00:22:34.960 Gwinnett
00:22:35.900 County
00:22:36.200 father
00:22:36.500 says
00:22:36.780 his
00:22:36.940 seven
00:22:37.180 year
00:22:37.320 old
00:22:37.480 daughter
00:22:37.700 made
00:22:37.920 it
00:22:38.020 to
00:22:38.140 school
00:22:38.320 but
00:22:38.500 she
00:22:38.640 never
00:22:38.900 made
00:22:39.160 it
00:22:39.280 to
00:22:39.400 her
00:22:39.540 after
00:22:39.820 school
00:22:40.120 program
00:22:40.660 for
00:22:41.180 hours
00:22:41.880 Sean
00:22:42.800 Harris
00:22:43.120 said
00:22:43.320 he
00:22:43.420 had
00:22:43.560 no
00:22:43.840 idea
00:22:44.480 who
00:22:45.240 had
00:22:45.660 his
00:22:45.940 child
00:22:46.480 until
00:22:46.880 his
00:22:47.140 phone
00:22:47.460 rang
00:22:47.820 and
00:22:47.980 her
00:22:48.120 voice
00:22:48.340 was
00:22:48.500 on
00:22:48.620 the
00:22:48.720 other
00:22:48.880 end
00:22:49.300 pure
00:22:50.460 anxiety
00:22:51.200 I
00:22:51.660 was
00:22:51.820 in
00:22:52.020 disbelief
00:22:52.780 that
00:22:53.040 this
00:22:53.340 could
00:22:53.520 even
00:22:53.880 happen
00:22:54.340 what
00:22:55.000 happened
00:22:55.520 Department
00:22:57.440 of
00:22:57.780 Family
00:22:58.380 and
00:22:58.720 Children's
00:22:59.360 Services
00:22:59.680 came
00:23:00.720 and
00:23:01.100 took
00:23:02.160 the
00:23:02.460 child
00:23:03.040 out
00:23:03.260 of
00:23:03.400 school
00:23:03.740 needed
00:23:04.740 to
00:23:04.980 question
00:23:05.480 without
00:23:06.880 the
00:23:07.460 parents
00:23:07.820 knowledge
00:23:08.340 at all
00:23:08.760 until
00:23:10.300 they
00:23:10.560 realized
00:23:11.160 oops
00:23:11.760 we have
00:23:12.420 the wrong
00:23:12.960 girl
00:23:13.400 she
00:23:16.080 called
00:23:16.400 and said
00:23:16.680 oh
00:23:16.840 the
00:23:16.980 state
00:23:17.360 took
00:23:17.700 me
00:23:17.920 out
00:23:18.160 and
00:23:18.300 was
00:23:18.480 questioning
00:23:18.920 me
00:23:19.280 and
00:23:19.500 and
00:23:20.180 then
00:23:20.300 they
00:23:20.460 realized
00:23:20.820 they
00:23:21.040 had
00:23:21.220 the
00:23:21.380 wrong
00:23:21.580 person
00:23:22.120 and
00:23:22.700 so
00:23:22.860 they
00:23:23.000 allowed
00:23:23.260 me
00:23:26.100 to
00:23:26.500 call
00:23:27.060 you
00:23:28.320 my
00:23:28.840 dad
00:23:29.400 again
00:23:31.800 it
00:23:32.400 would
00:23:32.540 be
00:23:32.660 another
00:23:32.980 lecture
00:23:33.900 for
00:23:34.120 my
00:23:34.280 wife
00:23:34.520 honey
00:23:34.820 no
00:23:35.340 don't
00:23:36.080 no
00:23:36.560 don't
00:23:37.400 as
00:23:39.320 a
00:23:39.600 dad
00:23:40.140 and
00:23:41.440 as
00:23:41.740 a
00:23:41.920 mom
00:23:42.400 your
00:23:44.180 child
00:23:44.720 is
00:23:45.060 just
00:23:45.380 disappeared
00:23:46.260 from
00:23:46.640 school
00:23:47.100 and
00:23:47.860 because
00:23:48.200 it's
00:23:48.500 the
00:23:48.700 state
00:23:49.260 the
00:23:49.880 school
00:23:50.260 doesn't
00:23:50.860 tell
00:23:51.100 you
00:23:51.280 that
00:23:51.660 your
00:23:52.560 child
00:23:52.820 is
00:23:52.960 just
00:23:53.120 gone
00:23:53.640 imagine
00:23:57.400 the
00:23:58.220 terror
00:23:59.080 that
00:23:59.840 you
00:24:00.160 are
00:24:00.400 going
00:24:00.820 through
00:24:01.200 as
00:24:01.540 a
00:24:01.760 parent
00:24:02.180 for
00:24:02.460 hours
00:24:03.140 and
00:24:04.180 we
00:24:05.360 have
00:24:05.780 him
00:24:06.660 on
00:24:06.860 Sean
00:24:07.120 Harris
00:24:07.400 is
00:24:07.580 going
00:24:07.680 to
00:24:07.720 be
00:24:07.820 on
00:24:07.980 with
00:24:08.100 us
00:24:08.240 in
00:24:08.340 hour
00:24:08.480 number
00:24:08.680 three
00:24:09.040 I'm
00:24:10.800 wondering
00:24:11.160 how much
00:24:12.820 he's
00:24:13.220 suing
00:24:13.520 for
00:24:13.860 and
00:24:16.260 it's
00:24:16.640 not
00:24:16.800 about
00:24:17.000 money
00:24:17.340 it's
00:24:18.640 about
00:24:18.820 making
00:24:19.100 sure
00:24:19.520 that
00:24:20.280 that
00:24:20.480 doesn't
00:24:20.840 happen
00:24:21.180 to
00:24:21.440 anyone
00:24:22.000 how
00:24:23.520 can
00:24:23.780 the
00:24:23.980 state
00:24:24.340 go
00:24:24.620 in
00:24:24.860 and
00:24:25.080 just
00:24:25.360 take
00:24:25.940 your
00:24:26.500 child
00:24:27.300 oops
00:24:29.500 made a
00:24:29.860 mistake
00:24:30.220 even
00:24:31.700 if it
00:24:31.980 wasn't
00:24:32.240 a
00:24:32.340 mistake
00:24:32.660 even
00:24:33.220 if it
00:24:33.440 wasn't
00:24:33.640 a
00:24:33.740 mistake
00:24:33.960 no
00:24:34.460 doesn't
00:24:34.860 matter
00:24:35.140 it
00:24:35.880 makes
00:24:36.060 it
00:24:36.200 worse
00:24:36.620 because
00:24:36.940 it
00:24:37.120 just
00:24:37.320 shows
00:24:37.780 how
00:24:38.200 incompetent
00:24:39.380 you're
00:24:41.680 really
00:24:42.140 you're
00:24:42.520 the
00:24:42.700 protector
00:24:43.300 of
00:24:43.720 my
00:24:44.000 child
00:24:44.440 and
00:24:45.080 you
00:24:45.280 picked
00:24:45.620 the
00:24:45.880 wrong
00:24:46.360 child
00:24:46.960 oh
00:24:47.540 yeah
00:24:47.820 sit
00:24:49.020 down
00:24:49.400 it's
00:24:50.640 infuriating
00:24:51.160 what
00:24:51.940 percentage
00:24:52.340 of the
00:24:52.820 conversations
00:24:53.320 you have
00:24:53.800 with your
00:24:54.120 wife
00:24:54.580 would you
00:24:55.040 say
00:24:55.280 have
00:24:55.560 some
00:24:55.900 variation
00:24:56.500 of
00:24:56.920 please
00:24:57.300 don't
00:24:57.640 say
00:24:57.840 what
00:24:58.020 you're
00:24:58.180 about
00:24:58.360 to
00:24:58.540 say
00:24:58.800 80
00:25:00.220 85
00:25:01.400 that
00:25:02.480 seems
00:25:02.740 like
00:25:02.900 this
00:25:03.020 is
00:25:03.100 a
00:25:03.200 common
00:25:03.540 refrain
00:25:04.060 probably
00:25:06.700 about
00:25:08.140 50%
00:25:09.200 only
00:25:10.140 50%
00:25:10.760 yeah
00:25:10.960 we don't
00:25:13.600 go out
00:25:14.040 as much
00:25:14.440 as we
00:25:14.760 used
00:25:14.980 to
00:25:15.200 so
00:25:15.460 we're
00:25:15.620 not
00:25:15.820 just
00:25:16.040 out
00:25:16.280 in
00:25:16.460 public
00:25:16.960 like
00:25:17.280 we
00:25:17.460 used
00:25:17.680 to
00:25:17.920 you
00:25:18.400 know
00:25:18.580 where
00:25:18.800 there's
00:25:19.140 lots
00:25:19.920 of
00:25:20.100 people
00:25:20.440 who
00:25:20.720 are
00:25:20.900 just
00:25:21.140 we're
00:25:21.360 just
00:25:21.560 getting
00:25:21.900 to
00:25:22.200 know
00:25:22.440 each
00:25:22.700 other
00:25:23.000 that
00:25:23.400 doesn't
00:25:23.760 happen
00:25:24.020 as much
00:25:24.400 anymore
00:25:24.840 no
00:25:25.140 you know
00:25:25.820 probably
00:25:26.400 by
00:25:26.840 design
00:25:27.420 her
00:25:27.760 design
00:25:28.300 but
00:25:29.240 a lot
00:25:30.840 of
00:25:30.960 times
00:25:31.260 because
00:25:31.860 I don't
00:25:32.080 think
00:25:32.220 that
00:25:32.380 dynamic
00:25:32.780 is
00:25:32.980 the same
00:25:33.180 like
00:25:33.300 I think
00:25:33.580 Pat's
00:25:34.660 really
00:25:34.900 I think
00:25:35.280 mine
00:25:35.540 for sure
00:25:35.960 and I
00:25:36.440 think
00:25:36.660 maybe
00:25:36.960 Pat's
00:25:37.500 might
00:25:37.760 be
00:25:37.860 the
00:25:38.000 opposite
00:25:38.300 where
00:25:39.320 like
00:25:39.500 I'm
00:25:39.900 constantly
00:25:40.320 saying
00:25:40.700 to
00:25:40.880 Lisa
00:25:41.220 no
00:25:42.380 you
00:25:42.540 don't
00:25:42.660 need
00:25:42.800 to
00:25:42.920 do
00:25:43.480 that
00:25:43.740 just
00:25:44.080 we'll
00:25:44.940 deal
00:25:45.320 with
00:25:45.480 that
00:25:45.640 later
00:25:45.900 you
00:25:46.120 don't
00:25:46.260 need
00:25:46.380 to
00:25:46.500 put
00:25:46.660 that
00:25:46.840 note
00:25:47.140 on
00:25:47.280 the
00:25:47.400 car
00:25:47.660 who
00:25:47.840 parked
00:25:48.140 next
00:25:48.500 to
00:25:48.660 you
00:25:48.720 don't
00:25:48.980 worry
00:25:49.300 about
00:25:49.680 it
00:25:49.900 I
00:25:50.220 don't
00:25:51.860 insert
00:25:52.700 myself
00:25:53.500 into
00:25:54.120 you know
00:25:55.440 somebody
00:25:55.960 parked
00:25:56.540 wrong
00:25:56.940 somebody
00:25:57.320 did
00:25:57.680 I
00:25:57.880 don't
00:25:58.100 insert
00:25:58.500 myself
00:25:58.980 in
00:25:59.140 there
00:25:59.300 but
00:25:59.740 if
00:25:59.920 I'm
00:26:00.160 sitting
00:26:00.460 at
00:26:00.660 a
00:26:00.800 table
00:26:01.180 I
00:26:02.120 get
00:26:02.520 I
00:26:02.740 mean
00:26:02.940 my
00:26:03.220 shins
00:26:03.860 it's
00:26:04.240 I
00:26:04.600 mean
00:26:05.100 I
00:26:05.260 need
00:26:05.820 like
00:26:06.220 a
00:26:06.460 titanium
00:26:06.960 shim
00:26:07.640 shim
00:26:10.520 because
00:26:12.720 I've
00:26:13.240 been
00:26:13.380 kicked
00:26:13.800 in
00:26:14.000 the
00:26:14.140 shins
00:26:14.480 so
00:26:14.800 many
00:26:15.040 times
00:26:15.500 by
00:26:15.720 my
00:26:15.940 wife
00:26:16.340 I
00:26:17.420 mean
00:26:17.780 there's
00:26:19.420 two
00:26:19.680 things
00:26:20.100 that you
00:26:20.380 hear
00:26:20.680 having
00:26:21.000 dinner
00:26:21.340 with
00:26:21.760 the
00:26:22.180 backs
00:26:22.520 you
00:26:23.700 will
00:26:23.920 hear
00:26:24.340 if
00:26:25.860 she
00:26:26.140 if
00:26:26.520 she
00:26:26.760 just
00:26:27.100 at
00:26:27.280 the
00:26:27.420 very
00:26:27.680 end
00:26:28.180 you
00:26:28.700 will
00:26:28.880 hear
00:26:29.200 honey
00:26:30.020 no
00:26:30.440 just
00:26:31.240 leave
00:26:31.460 it
00:26:31.540 alone
00:26:31.800 no
00:26:32.060 you
00:26:32.460 know
00:26:32.740 hey
00:26:33.620 you
00:26:33.940 know
00:26:34.160 I
00:26:34.540 think
00:26:34.880 hey
00:26:35.640 did
00:26:36.260 anybody
00:26:36.580 see
00:26:37.000 the
00:26:37.200 new
00:26:37.380 movie
00:26:37.780 you'll
00:26:38.420 hear
00:26:38.560 that
00:26:38.960 but
00:26:39.780 before
00:26:40.160 that
00:26:40.460 you'll
00:26:40.680 hear
00:26:40.840 about
00:26:41.040 three
00:26:41.380 minutes
00:26:41.680 of
00:26:41.900 ow
00:26:42.360 ow
00:26:43.560 from
00:26:44.240 me
00:26:44.560 ow
00:26:45.400 stop
00:26:45.940 kicking
00:26:46.840 me
00:26:47.100 stop
00:26:47.320 she's
00:26:47.640 poking
00:26:47.920 me
00:26:48.240 we
00:26:49.100 look
00:26:49.320 like
00:26:49.580 you
00:26:49.760 know
00:26:49.880 like
00:26:50.100 we're
00:26:50.260 12
00:26:50.640 she's
00:26:51.160 poking
00:26:51.520 me
00:26:51.860 she's
00:26:52.640 poking
00:26:52.880 me
00:26:53.040 to
00:26:53.160 say
00:26:53.380 shut
00:26:54.160 up
00:26:54.880 and
00:26:55.440 so
00:26:55.580 the
00:26:55.780 movie
00:26:56.340 thing
00:26:56.560 is
00:26:56.680 when
00:26:56.800 you're
00:26:57.000 changing
00:26:57.460 topics
00:26:58.200 you're
00:26:58.560 trying
00:26:59.000 to
00:26:59.240 yeah
00:26:59.500 she's
00:26:59.920 not
00:27:00.120 me
00:27:00.360 that's
00:27:00.660 her
00:27:00.860 that's
00:27:01.100 her
00:27:01.200 that's
00:27:01.440 her
00:27:01.560 saying
00:27:01.920 hey
00:27:02.260 hey
00:27:03.040 look
00:27:03.620 squirrel
00:27:04.080 and then
00:27:04.820 30 seconds
00:27:05.280 after that
00:27:05.640 she's
00:27:05.860 kicking you
00:27:06.260 in the
00:27:06.440 shin
00:27:06.600 again
00:27:06.800 because
00:27:07.080 you've
00:27:07.320 given
00:27:07.460 a spoiler
00:27:08.060 to the
00:27:08.980 movie
00:27:09.380 and have
00:27:09.920 now
00:27:10.080 ruined
00:27:10.420 it
00:27:10.540 for
00:27:10.700 everyone
00:27:10.960 else
00:27:11.180 no
00:27:11.440 has
00:27:11.660 nothing
00:27:11.980 to do
00:27:12.360 with
00:27:12.520 the
00:27:12.680 movies
00:27:13.020 I
00:27:13.260 can't
00:27:13.460 you
00:27:13.560 know
00:27:13.720 I
00:27:13.940 just
00:27:14.200 I
00:27:14.920 am
00:27:15.060 not
00:27:15.500 going
00:27:15.740 to
00:27:15.880 play
00:27:16.220 I'm
00:27:16.880 not
00:27:17.140 going
00:27:17.320 to
00:27:17.420 play
00:27:17.620 the
00:27:17.780 PC
00:27:18.060 game
00:27:18.400 I'm
00:27:18.600 not
00:27:18.920 going
00:27:19.240 to
00:27:19.620 especially
00:27:20.600 if it's
00:27:21.080 on my
00:27:21.480 time
00:27:21.940 and it's
00:27:22.680 my
00:27:22.980 you know
00:27:23.540 my time
00:27:24.020 out
00:27:24.360 and you
00:27:25.100 know
00:27:25.220 I want
00:27:25.580 to be
00:27:25.880 with my
00:27:26.240 friends
00:27:26.600 and I
00:27:26.900 want to
00:27:27.260 I'm not
00:27:28.220 going to
00:27:28.440 play that
00:27:28.780 game
00:27:29.120 I'm not
00:27:29.840 going to
00:27:29.900 play that
00:27:30.180 game
00:27:30.520 if I'm
00:27:32.020 at
00:27:32.740 somebody's
00:27:33.800 wedding
00:27:34.240 I'm
00:27:36.480 going to
00:27:36.960 be the
00:27:37.300 most polite
00:27:38.020 and I'm
00:27:38.540 going to
00:27:38.880 endure
00:27:39.480 all of
00:27:40.940 it
00:27:41.240 well
00:27:41.840 the first
00:27:42.480 eight to
00:27:43.060 twelve
00:27:43.360 minutes of
00:27:43.840 it until
00:27:44.080 you duck
00:27:44.520 out the
00:27:44.780 back
00:27:44.960 door
00:27:45.220 but yes
00:27:45.800 you'll be
00:27:46.400 there for
00:27:46.740 while you're
00:27:47.560 there
00:27:47.760 I'm
00:27:49.120 going to
00:27:49.320 be the
00:27:49.600 most
00:27:49.860 polite
00:27:50.040 if I'm
00:27:50.600 at
00:27:50.740 somebody's
00:27:51.200 house
00:27:51.460 I'm
00:27:51.680 at
00:27:51.800 I am
00:27:52.720 I am
00:27:53.420 a pleasant
00:27:54.520 guest
00:27:55.000 you're at
00:27:56.040 my house
00:27:56.740 which by the
00:27:57.240 way I'm
00:27:57.500 not kidding
00:27:57.900 you my
00:27:58.220 wife has
00:27:58.700 banned all
00:27:59.380 guests from
00:27:59.820 our house
00:28:00.280 she is
00:28:01.100 like no
00:28:02.060 one is
00:28:03.320 coming to
00:28:03.820 our house
00:28:04.280 anymore
00:28:05.680 I'm like
00:28:06.880 wow
00:28:07.520 well you've
00:28:08.220 been on
00:28:08.420 that list
00:28:08.880 because we
00:28:09.720 have security
00:28:10.240 and they
00:28:10.880 run
00:28:11.180 everybody's
00:28:11.840 background
00:28:12.200 but so
00:28:13.380 you know
00:28:14.320 if if
00:28:15.840 you're if
00:28:16.380 you're coming
00:28:16.800 out with
00:28:17.480 us
00:28:17.960 then you
00:28:20.020 know
00:28:20.180 you're
00:28:20.580 rolling
00:28:21.440 with us
00:28:22.080 and if
00:28:24.100 you say
00:28:24.460 bullcrap
00:28:25.180 I'm gonna
00:28:25.620 say that's
00:28:26.300 bullcrap
00:28:26.900 and you
00:28:27.160 know it
00:28:27.520 is that
00:28:27.800 normal
00:28:28.140 because I
00:28:28.520 feel like
00:28:28.900 especially
00:28:29.720 with the
00:28:30.100 job that
00:28:30.580 we do
00:28:31.100 I am
00:28:32.080 much
00:28:32.580 less
00:28:33.700 probably
00:28:34.340 politically
00:28:34.880 correct
00:28:35.400 here
00:28:35.940 than I
00:28:36.700 am
00:28:36.840 outside
00:28:37.240 of here
00:28:37.660 like we're
00:28:38.580 here
00:28:38.940 I feel
00:28:39.580 like you
00:28:40.120 know what
00:28:40.440 my job
00:28:41.420 is to
00:28:41.940 say
00:28:42.300 everything
00:28:42.860 that I
00:28:43.660 want to
00:28:44.060 say
00:28:44.360 no matter
00:28:44.760 what the
00:28:45.160 consequences
00:28:45.600 are
00:28:46.180 here's the
00:28:46.640 thing
00:28:46.860 I'm at
00:28:47.200 dinner
00:28:47.480 that's not
00:28:47.820 what I'm
00:28:48.020 doing
00:28:48.200 talking to
00:28:48.660 a guy
00:28:49.080 no I'm
00:28:50.360 just saying
00:28:50.700 I have
00:28:51.120 no tolerance
00:28:51.960 for bullcrap
00:28:52.680 I'm going
00:28:53.500 to I'm not
00:28:54.320 going to bring
00:28:54.640 it up
00:28:54.940 but I'm also
00:28:56.380 not going to
00:28:56.920 let you live
00:28:57.680 in some
00:28:58.060 fantasy world
00:28:59.140 where you
00:28:59.580 think
00:28:59.900 yeah right
00:29:00.760 right
00:29:01.420 am I right
00:29:02.100 no you're
00:29:02.620 not right
00:29:03.060 you're an
00:29:03.640 imbecile
00:29:04.160 that's dinner
00:29:06.000 with you
00:29:06.420 if you're an
00:29:07.660 imbecile
00:29:08.080 yes
00:29:08.660 I'm sorry
00:29:12.580 you're not
00:29:13.300 right
00:29:14.040 period
00:29:15.240 and I
00:29:17.300 mean unless
00:29:17.960 your source
00:29:18.500 is wikipedia
00:29:19.300 and google
00:29:20.080 then we'll
00:29:20.880 have a talk
00:29:21.600 but I'm
00:29:23.780 not I'm
00:29:24.200 I'm not
00:29:24.720 like that
00:29:25.160 like last
00:29:25.720 night we
00:29:26.220 were at
00:29:28.080 the kids
00:29:29.200 new school
00:29:29.720 and it was
00:29:30.760 you know
00:29:31.080 parent teacher
00:29:31.900 night
00:29:32.360 that was
00:29:34.080 fun
00:29:34.400 yes it
00:29:35.560 was
00:29:35.760 people love
00:29:36.160 seeing you
00:29:36.520 come through
00:29:36.860 that door
00:29:37.240 oh my gosh
00:29:37.760 teachers love
00:29:39.020 me
00:29:39.420 so I was
00:29:40.940 sitting with
00:29:41.460 the principal
00:29:42.180 of the school
00:29:42.560 which was
00:29:42.980 really great
00:29:44.020 because she
00:29:44.860 had absolutely
00:29:45.660 no idea
00:29:46.180 who I was
00:29:46.720 she's running
00:29:48.080 a school
00:29:48.380 she has
00:29:49.120 no clue
00:29:50.180 and so
00:29:52.100 I got
00:29:52.880 some real
00:29:53.400 information
00:29:53.900 she treated
00:29:54.440 me like a
00:29:55.020 regular human
00:29:55.600 being which
00:29:56.220 was wonderful
00:29:57.500 and so we
00:29:58.860 start
00:29:59.340 now this is
00:30:00.400 when this is
00:30:00.980 a couple months
00:30:01.440 ago when we
00:30:01.920 were interviewing
00:30:02.640 schools and
00:30:03.420 and so we
00:30:04.340 start and
00:30:04.980 I sit down
00:30:06.060 and this is
00:30:06.540 the second
00:30:06.940 interview
00:30:07.380 Tanya went
00:30:07.860 for the
00:30:08.080 first one
00:30:08.500 and then I
00:30:08.940 went you know
00:30:10.000 because I said
00:30:10.420 I've got some
00:30:11.160 questions
00:30:11.600 and Tanya's
00:30:13.640 like no
00:30:14.040 don't
00:30:14.760 don't
00:30:14.780 don't
00:30:15.160 and so I
00:30:16.220 sit down
00:30:16.640 and I said
00:30:17.260 she said
00:30:17.800 nice to
00:30:18.400 meet you
00:30:19.000 it's great
00:30:19.600 to have you
00:30:20.140 here
00:30:20.500 your wife
00:30:21.820 said that
00:30:22.320 you might
00:30:22.680 have some
00:30:23.000 questions
00:30:23.360 and I said
00:30:24.120 yeah first
00:30:25.580 let me just
00:30:26.160 start here
00:30:26.600 I'm a Mormon
00:30:27.940 and she went
00:30:30.000 oh
00:30:31.340 okay
00:30:32.880 and I said
00:30:34.720 let her
00:30:35.380 rip
00:30:35.600 go ahead
00:30:36.300 you're a
00:30:37.000 Christian
00:30:37.300 school
00:30:37.900 go ahead
00:30:39.620 and she's
00:30:41.280 like what
00:30:41.960 I don't
00:30:42.920 know
00:30:44.320 and I said
00:30:45.060 I've gone
00:30:47.580 to several
00:30:48.000 schools here
00:30:48.620 and they're
00:30:49.120 all Christians
00:30:49.580 and they all
00:30:50.060 say the same
00:30:50.440 thing
00:30:50.660 oh no
00:30:51.280 we have
00:30:51.680 no
00:30:51.920 and then
00:30:53.040 after my
00:30:53.760 kids get
00:30:54.140 excited about
00:30:54.820 going to
00:30:55.180 that school
00:30:55.660 then you
00:30:56.400 all of a
00:30:57.140 sudden
00:30:57.340 because people
00:30:58.000 are like
00:30:58.260 oh we can't
00:30:58.820 have a Mormon
00:30:59.300 here
00:30:59.620 they're
00:31:00.140 witches
00:31:00.460 so go
00:31:02.340 ahead
00:31:02.580 what's
00:31:03.000 going to
00:31:03.200 happen
00:31:03.500 and she's
00:31:04.380 like
00:31:04.640 nothing
00:31:06.060 and I
00:31:07.460 said
00:31:07.860 so what
00:31:10.160 are you
00:31:10.420 going to
00:31:11.460 will you
00:31:13.020 stop
00:31:13.620 people
00:31:14.200 from
00:31:14.720 bullying
00:31:15.280 my
00:31:15.740 children
00:31:16.320 because
00:31:17.080 she said
00:31:18.000 my gosh
00:31:19.160 what experience
00:31:20.180 have you
00:31:20.800 had
00:31:21.380 and I
00:31:22.360 told her
00:31:22.780 and she's
00:31:23.240 like okay
00:31:23.860 none of
00:31:24.660 that is
00:31:25.000 going to
00:31:25.220 happen
00:31:25.480 here
00:31:25.800 and I
00:31:26.040 was like
00:31:26.260 okay
00:31:26.520 good
00:31:26.740 I
00:31:26.860 believe
00:31:27.120 you
00:31:27.320 and I
00:31:28.000 said
00:31:28.360 do you
00:31:31.360 know what
00:31:33.200 I do
00:31:33.380 for a
00:31:33.600 living
00:31:33.740 and she
00:31:34.380 said
00:31:34.700 no
00:31:36.900 and I
00:31:38.140 said
00:31:38.480 oh great
00:31:39.580 can I
00:31:40.080 talk to
00:31:40.360 you about
00:31:40.560 history
00:31:40.960 and she
00:31:41.880 said
00:31:42.300 sure
00:31:43.640 and I
00:31:44.820 said
00:31:45.060 tell me
00:31:45.800 about
00:31:46.240 this
00:31:46.760 person
00:31:47.200 tell me
00:31:47.680 about
00:31:47.840 this
00:31:48.100 person
00:31:48.500 how is
00:31:49.580 the view
00:31:50.140 of
00:31:50.340 America
00:31:50.900 and she
00:31:52.460 told me
00:31:53.220 her view
00:31:53.580 of America
00:31:54.020 and she
00:31:54.240 said
00:31:54.620 you're
00:31:55.320 probably
00:31:55.900 going to
00:31:56.320 have a
00:31:56.780 problem
00:31:57.300 with this
00:31:57.840 but there's
00:31:59.220 a couple
00:31:59.500 of things
00:31:59.840 that I
00:32:00.100 hold
00:32:00.360 strongly
00:32:00.800 to
00:32:01.120 one
00:32:01.660 that
00:32:02.360 America
00:32:02.840 is not
00:32:03.880 the golden
00:32:04.660 land
00:32:05.180 of opportunity
00:32:06.040 that you
00:32:06.680 find in
00:32:07.360 you know
00:32:07.960 all the
00:32:08.360 fairy tale
00:32:09.040 histories
00:32:09.640 but it is
00:32:10.980 certainly
00:32:11.340 not the
00:32:12.460 evil America
00:32:14.180 that you
00:32:14.620 now find
00:32:15.320 that is
00:32:16.020 prevalent
00:32:16.360 in all
00:32:17.780 universities
00:32:18.460 and all
00:32:19.020 textbooks
00:32:19.480 because of
00:32:20.660 the progressive
00:32:21.100 movement
00:32:21.760 and I
00:32:22.260 said
00:32:22.540 we're done
00:32:23.820 okay
00:32:24.300 I'm good
00:32:24.840 so
00:32:25.780 but last
00:32:26.900 night
00:32:27.240 we went
00:32:27.900 and
00:32:28.620 I was
00:32:30.040 not
00:32:30.440 I
00:32:30.760 when I'm
00:32:32.560 in a group
00:32:33.140 of people
00:32:33.600 I'm quiet
00:32:34.500 and don't
00:32:35.780 say anything
00:32:36.400 and you
00:32:38.060 know
00:32:38.220 when it's
00:32:38.880 appropriate
00:32:39.340 to be
00:32:40.140 that person
00:32:41.040 where you're
00:32:41.440 just quiet
00:32:42.040 and shy
00:32:42.560 I don't
00:32:42.920 need to
00:32:43.260 turn tables
00:32:43.940 over
00:32:44.160 that's
00:32:44.440 ridiculous
00:32:44.840 but you
00:32:46.720 need to
00:32:47.120 stand up
00:32:47.600 when it's
00:32:47.920 time to
00:32:48.260 stand up
00:32:48.840 did you
00:32:50.580 ask them
00:32:50.980 after
00:32:51.360 which side
00:32:53.160 of the
00:32:53.360 school
00:32:53.600 has the
00:32:54.020 flying broom
00:32:54.780 drop off
00:32:55.320 area
00:32:55.680 for your
00:32:56.580 which
00:32:56.800 children
00:32:57.220 no
00:32:57.700 strangely
00:32:58.260 they
00:32:58.640 pointed
00:32:59.020 that out
00:32:59.400 to me
00:32:59.840 last night
00:33:00.740 and they
00:33:00.920 were like
00:33:01.220 and here's
00:33:01.800 where the
00:33:02.140 Mormon
00:33:02.560 creatures
00:33:03.120 are going
00:33:03.560 to sit
00:33:03.940 but at
00:33:07.260 this point
00:33:07.720 living in
00:33:08.160 Texas
00:33:08.460 after all
00:33:09.160 the other
00:33:09.440 school
00:33:09.700 experiences
00:33:10.220 I was
00:33:10.560 like
00:33:10.760 oh
00:33:11.060 we have
00:33:11.680 our own
00:33:11.880 area
00:33:12.160 and they're
00:33:13.740 only calling
00:33:14.220 us creatures
00:33:14.780 this is
00:33:15.640 great
00:33:15.960 and now
00:33:16.760 this
00:33:17.100 when you
00:33:17.920 leave your
00:33:18.320 home
00:33:18.680 this summer
00:33:19.800 for vacation
00:33:20.480 leave with a
00:33:21.300 sense of
00:33:21.660 security
00:33:22.080 knowing that
00:33:22.700 your home
00:33:23.040 is safe
00:33:23.700 while you're
00:33:25.140 away
00:33:25.460 somebody's
00:33:26.100 watching it
00:33:26.760 and it's
00:33:27.560 only costing
00:33:28.020 you $14.99
00:33:29.560 a month
00:33:31.060 pretty good
00:33:32.440 right now
00:33:34.360 SimpliSafe
00:33:35.560 can put a
00:33:36.960 security system
00:33:37.740 into your
00:33:38.240 home
00:33:38.420 and when I
00:33:38.760 say put a
00:33:39.140 security system
00:33:39.740 in your
00:33:39.960 home
00:33:40.120 well
00:33:41.620 I'm a
00:33:43.040 horrible
00:33:43.420 wordsmith
00:33:44.020 I don't
00:33:44.980 know how
00:33:45.320 I'm successful
00:33:46.000 at all
00:33:46.760 they don't
00:33:47.780 come and put
00:33:48.260 it in
00:33:48.600 you order
00:33:49.680 it online
00:33:50.300 you know
00:33:50.780 how many
00:33:51.080 windows and
00:33:51.700 doors you
00:33:52.100 have
00:33:52.420 you can
00:33:52.760 count
00:33:53.160 you don't
00:33:53.740 need some
00:33:54.180 salesman
00:33:55.340 coming to
00:33:55.660 your house
00:33:56.120 and an
00:33:56.820 upselling
00:33:57.320 you
00:33:57.580 you certainly
00:33:58.480 in a world
00:33:59.500 of bluetooth
00:34:00.000 and wireless
00:34:00.720 you certainly
00:34:01.540 don't need
00:34:02.820 somebody to
00:34:03.440 come in
00:34:03.840 and put
00:34:04.180 wires through
00:34:05.060 your wall
00:34:05.720 and here's
00:34:07.260 another idea
00:34:07.980 I sell
00:34:08.960 my house
00:34:09.600 I can take
00:34:10.600 the security
00:34:11.040 system with
00:34:11.660 me
00:34:11.820 I live
00:34:12.260 in an
00:34:12.500 apartment
00:34:12.860 I can
00:34:13.780 have and
00:34:14.500 own the
00:34:14.960 security
00:34:15.300 system
00:34:15.760 and I'm
00:34:16.500 not paying
00:34:17.520 a huge
00:34:18.700 fee for
00:34:19.460 that security
00:34:20.280 every single
00:34:21.560 month
00:34:21.960 flushing it
00:34:23.300 down the
00:34:23.660 toilet
00:34:24.040 simply safe
00:34:25.540 has a summer
00:34:26.180 special that
00:34:27.380 is happening
00:34:27.760 right now
00:34:28.440 that you'll
00:34:29.420 save a hundred
00:34:30.080 dollars off
00:34:30.780 now this is
00:34:31.280 the same
00:34:31.760 security system
00:34:32.580 that my
00:34:33.760 children have
00:34:34.480 we have in
00:34:35.000 their house
00:34:36.100 and I helped
00:34:36.700 install it
00:34:37.340 and when I say
00:34:37.920 I helped
00:34:38.460 I mean I've
00:34:39.280 sat down on the
00:34:39.840 couch and I
00:34:40.320 watched my
00:34:40.960 son-in-law do
00:34:41.700 it but it
00:34:43.360 took about a
00:34:43.880 half an hour
00:34:44.440 it's really
00:34:45.860 easy that's
00:34:46.920 the days when
00:34:47.420 it had instruction
00:34:48.240 manuals now
00:34:49.020 you take it
00:34:49.580 out in the
00:34:49.880 base station
00:34:50.440 you plug it
00:34:50.940 in turn it
00:34:51.440 on and it
00:34:52.020 says do
00:34:53.620 step one
00:34:54.520 and it takes
00:34:55.820 you and walks
00:34:56.380 you through it
00:34:57.040 and I don't
00:34:57.740 know it might
00:34:59.240 just be the
00:34:59.880 one that you
00:35:00.540 know they would
00:35:00.960 send to me
00:35:01.400 that would say
00:35:01.800 no dummy I
00:35:03.220 didn't say do
00:35:03.960 that now did
00:35:04.740 I I said do
00:35:06.300 this but it
00:35:07.840 walks you through
00:35:08.420 you own the
00:35:09.760 system there's
00:35:10.440 no contracts
00:35:11.460 it's top of
00:35:12.520 the line and
00:35:13.200 you're not going
00:35:13.680 to believe how
00:35:14.300 inexpensive it is
00:35:15.460 especially if
00:35:16.480 you've ever bought
00:35:17.140 security from like
00:35:18.140 you know
00:35:18.520 ADS or
00:35:19.320 whatever that
00:35:19.720 is you buy
00:35:21.180 those systems
00:35:21.800 and it's a
00:35:22.260 fortune no
00:35:23.980 that's the
00:35:25.520 old system
00:35:26.360 this is the
00:35:27.660 new technology
00:35:28.540 to keep you

00:35:29.740 and all your
00:35:30.220 stuff safe
00:35:31.220 when you're
00:35:31.780 at home

00:35:53.940 the glenn

00:35:59.560 so bill o'reilly
00:36:02.260 is coming up
00:36:02.780 next and i
00:36:03.320 really would
00:36:03.880 love to hear
00:36:04.360 his take
00:36:05.440 on this
00:36:05.980 jeffrey lord
00:36:08.220 is a guy
00:36:08.860 who i don't
00:36:09.800 like at all
00:36:10.600 i don't think
00:36:12.240 i don't find
00:36:12.720 his commentary
00:36:13.340 worthwhile
00:36:14.040 i think
00:36:14.900 he is
00:36:15.440 just a
00:36:15.960 shill
00:36:16.340 i don't
00:36:17.240 like him
00:36:17.680 at all
00:36:18.580 he was
00:36:20.120 fired from
00:36:20.720 cnn
00:36:21.100 yesterday
00:36:21.620 and it's
00:36:23.260 outrageous
00:36:24.300 what they've
00:36:26.080 done to him
00:36:26.660 again i don't
00:36:28.680 like his
00:36:29.200 opinion
00:36:29.680 i don't ever
00:36:31.160 watch his
00:36:31.800 opinion
00:36:32.180 i think
00:36:33.280 you can
00:36:33.800 fire him
00:36:34.500 for other
00:36:35.180 reasons
00:36:35.660 like he
00:36:36.200 stinks
00:36:36.900 but not
00:36:38.520 for the
00:36:38.960 reason they
00:36:39.500 fired him
00:36:40.280 and we'll
00:36:41.240 get into
00:36:41.660 that at
00:36:42.240 the very
00:36:42.600 top of
00:36:43.100 the discussion
00:36:43.820 with bill
00:36:44.480 o'reilly
00:36:44.900 it is
00:36:45.760 outrageous
00:36:46.380 and if
00:36:47.400 you don't
00:36:48.220 think that
00:36:49.620 we are
00:36:50.280 if you
00:36:50.980 think that
00:36:52.060 oh no
00:36:53.560 we're making
00:36:54.160 all kinds
00:36:54.680 of progress
00:36:55.220 and this
00:36:56.100 administration
00:36:56.780 is really
00:36:57.320 turning
00:36:57.580 no no
00:36:58.320 they're not
00:36:58.720 nothing has
00:37:00.260 changed from
00:37:01.160 the left
00:37:01.600 they are
00:37:02.720 silencing
00:37:03.880 any voices
00:37:04.980 of dissent
00:37:06.040 what happened
00:37:06.960 this week
00:37:07.460 at google
00:37:08.120 is fascistic
00:37:09.400 what is
00:37:10.240 happening
00:37:10.640 now at
00:37:11.600 cnn
00:37:12.020 is fascistic
00:37:13.460 and if
00:37:14.620 your media
00:37:15.360 source is
00:37:16.020 not telling
00:37:16.680 you that
00:37:17.260 get a new
00:37:18.200 one
00:37:18.600 this is

00:37:23.220 bill o'reilly
00:37:37.740 he started
00:37:40.380 his own
00:37:41.140 news show
00:37:42.380 the no
00:37:42.820 spin
00:37:43.180 news
00:37:43.740 he's
00:37:45.200 announced
00:37:45.680 that he's
00:37:46.180 going to be
00:37:46.500 on cnn
00:37:47.180 and do we
00:37:48.800 have him
00:37:49.100 even on
00:37:49.520 yet or is
00:37:49.960 it too
00:37:50.280 he's on
00:37:50.920 now because
00:37:51.380 i thought
00:37:52.000 maybe he was
00:37:52.520 getting too
00:37:52.940 big for
00:37:53.620 for the
00:37:54.180 program
00:37:54.540 i wasn't
00:37:55.180 sure
00:37:55.500 bill o'reilly
00:37:56.720 we have a
00:37:57.400 ton to

00:38:36.340 the more brilliant
00:38:36.880 people when it
00:38:37.780 comes to how to
00:38:39.060 do a show

00:38:53.000 week it's
00:38:53.700 really good
00:38:54.400 there's not a
00:38:55.160 lot has changed

00:38:56.500 um just the

00:38:59.620 uh and we'll
00:39:00.600 talk to him
00:39:01.000 about that
00:39:01.500 i want to
00:39:01.980 start here
00:39:02.840 bill with
00:39:03.460 something that
00:39:03.920 really bothers
00:39:04.700 me and that
00:39:05.860 is the firing
00:39:07.260 of what's his
00:39:08.420 name jeremy
00:39:08.840 lions jeff jeffrey
00:39:10.740 no what's his
00:39:11.220 name jeffrey lord
00:39:12.260 jeffrey lord
00:39:13.040 that's right
00:39:13.440 that's how much
00:39:14.900 i care about
00:39:15.500 this guy
00:39:15.940 um i actually
00:39:17.800 care about his
00:39:18.740 firing i think
00:39:19.740 he is horrible
00:39:21.320 i think he is
00:39:22.780 one of the worst
00:39:23.900 commentators on
00:39:25.080 cnn i think he's
00:39:26.500 just a total
00:39:27.120 sellout
00:39:27.640 however they
00:39:29.700 fired him
00:39:30.760 because he
00:39:32.100 got into a
00:39:33.060 twitter spat
00:39:34.300 with media
00:39:35.840 matters and
00:39:37.500 media matters
00:39:38.380 is starting a
00:39:38.960 campaign again
00:39:39.620 to get people
00:39:40.200 fired get them
00:39:40.920 thrown off and
00:39:42.320 he said what
00:39:43.400 you're doing is
00:39:44.220 fascistic in
00:39:45.500 nature
00:39:45.920 that's this
00:39:46.580 is fascism
00:39:47.400 and they
00:39:48.420 tweeted something
00:39:49.060 back and he
00:39:49.840 wrote zig
00:39:50.800 heil cnn fires
00:39:54.060 him almost
00:39:55.540 immediately because
00:39:57.600 they say uh nazi
00:39:59.240 salutes are
00:39:59.840 absolutely we
00:40:00.940 will not tolerate
00:40:02.020 the indefensible
00:40:02.960 are you kidding
00:40:03.940 me so now he's
00:40:05.980 out bill yeah i
00:40:09.340 mean look anybody
00:40:10.980 and i mean anybody
00:40:12.420 knows that this
00:40:15.640 firing was
00:40:18.200 political it
00:40:20.420 wasn't for
00:40:20.980 cause it
00:40:21.900 wasn't because
00:40:22.600 he did anything
00:40:23.600 outrageous i mean
00:40:25.160 you can debate all
00:40:25.920 day long whether
00:40:26.580 nazi analogies
00:40:27.800 should be used in
00:40:28.760 any kind of
00:40:29.480 discourse but
00:40:30.620 it clearly falls
00:40:32.000 under freedom of
00:40:33.520 speech and he
00:40:35.200 was making a
00:40:35.920 contextual point
00:40:37.320 which is accurate
00:40:38.860 it by the way
00:40:39.500 that media
00:40:40.060 matters is a
00:40:41.760 fascist
00:40:42.300 organization
00:40:43.000 it is and
00:40:45.340 then when the
00:40:46.080 president of
00:40:46.800 media matters
00:40:47.500 struck back at
00:40:48.580 him he in a
00:40:50.000 wise guy fashion
00:40:51.000 went see
00:40:51.580 heil so what
00:40:53.240 who does that
00:40:54.320 offend media
00:40:55.560 matters so
00:40:56.840 what so they
00:40:58.580 were looking to
00:40:59.220 dump them and
00:41:00.300 uh this gave them
00:41:01.440 the opportunity to
00:41:02.420 do it that's the
00:41:03.240 only thing i can
00:41:04.280 figure out
00:41:04.840 okay so bill
00:41:05.740 let me do
00:41:06.660 that's maybe a
00:41:08.300 little bit better
00:41:09.040 than what i
00:41:09.680 thought but not
00:41:10.620 by much um
00:41:12.020 are you saying
00:41:12.940 that they only
00:41:14.280 use media matters
00:41:15.460 as a cover
00:41:16.740 because i mean
00:41:17.820 why not fire him
00:41:18.700 because i don't
00:41:19.780 want him around
00:41:20.360 we don't like him
00:41:21.240 he were a valued
00:41:22.300 employee they
00:41:23.780 certainly wouldn't
00:41:24.500 have done that
00:41:25.120 because well
00:41:25.720 look if jeffrey
00:41:27.040 lord i don't know
00:41:28.000 what his contractual
00:41:29.060 situation is but
00:41:30.260 he has an
00:41:31.480 actionable uh
00:41:33.540 violation of
00:41:34.680 contract
00:41:35.460 sued against cnn
00:41:37.320 you can't do that
00:41:39.320 he didn't do anything
00:41:40.700 out of the ordinary
00:41:42.280 in the sense of
00:41:43.380 exercising his
00:41:44.980 freedom of speech
00:41:45.740 to slap back
00:41:46.960 at a organization
00:41:48.420 that he feels
00:41:49.360 is fascistic
00:41:50.160 so it's got to be
00:41:52.100 something else
00:41:52.800 i don't know
00:41:53.980 whether his contract
00:41:54.620 whether he even had
00:41:55.540 a contract
00:41:55.980 but it looks to me
00:41:57.660 and i've been in
00:41:58.420 this business
00:41:58.980 almost as long as
00:42:00.160 you have since
00:42:00.880 the war of 1812
00:42:01.920 back
00:42:02.240 last week on your
00:42:03.740 program
00:42:04.080 it looks to me
00:42:05.540 like they just
00:42:06.040 want to get rid
00:42:06.520 of the guy
00:42:06.920 and this was a
00:42:07.480 convenient way
00:42:08.300 to do it
00:42:08.820 so bill
00:42:10.040 doesn't this
00:42:10.780 not empower
00:42:12.020 media matters
00:42:13.000 like crazy
00:42:14.840 it does
00:42:15.360 but but media
00:42:16.320 matters is
00:42:16.980 is in bed
00:42:17.720 with all these
00:42:18.420 people
00:42:18.860 i mean media
00:42:20.380 matters doesn't
00:42:20.940 attack cnn
00:42:21.720 ever
00:42:23.220 the media
00:42:24.520 matters doesn't
00:42:25.220 well let me
00:42:26.020 amend that
00:42:26.440 if cnn put on
00:42:27.600 a conservative
00:42:28.140 like you
00:42:29.140 or me
00:42:29.720 maybe media
00:42:30.480 matters
00:42:30.800 would attack
00:42:31.300 but they
00:42:31.600 don't attack
00:42:32.120 their editorial
00:42:33.260 posture
00:42:33.920 they don't
00:42:34.880 attack nbc
00:42:35.680 they don't
00:42:36.160 very rarely
00:42:36.980 attack the
00:42:37.400 networks
00:42:37.700 they only
00:42:38.060 attack
00:42:38.520 people with
00:42:39.660 whom they
00:42:40.000 disagree
00:42:40.280 politically
00:42:40.840 which is
00:42:41.320 anybody
00:42:41.920 moderate or
00:42:43.240 right
00:42:43.660 you gotta be a
00:42:44.620 far left
00:42:45.080 loon
00:42:45.660 to be in
00:42:46.500 their cadre
00:42:47.180 right
00:42:47.420 so we found
00:42:48.380 a media
00:42:49.840 matters
00:42:50.220 plan
00:42:51.300 of attack
00:42:52.640 and we're
00:42:53.560 going to be
00:42:54.000 going over
00:42:55.140 it in the
00:42:56.120 next couple
00:42:56.500 of weeks
00:42:56.920 with our
00:42:57.780 audience
00:42:58.120 it is their
00:42:59.140 plan
00:42:59.400 we found it
00:43:00.400 on the dark
00:43:01.020 web
00:43:01.620 and
00:43:03.340 dark web
00:43:04.440 yeah i mean
00:43:06.020 who even
00:43:06.940 who even
00:43:07.820 puts their
00:43:08.400 stuff on the
00:43:09.100 dark web
00:43:09.580 seriously
00:43:10.480 who does
00:43:11.280 that
00:43:11.420 criminals
00:43:12.080 i mean
00:43:13.020 why
00:43:13.440 evil people
00:43:14.860 why are you
00:43:15.560 putting stuff
00:43:16.160 on the dark
00:43:16.780 web
00:43:17.000 so uh
00:43:18.180 in it
00:43:18.680 it talks
00:43:19.300 about how
00:43:19.920 they are
00:43:20.300 now consulting
00:43:21.420 with google
00:43:22.380 they're now
00:43:23.260 consulting with
00:43:24.120 facebook
00:43:24.640 they're trying
00:43:25.740 to tell
00:43:26.320 youtube
00:43:26.820 and google
00:43:27.880 and facebook
00:43:28.840 exactly
00:43:29.800 uh
00:43:30.700 what is
00:43:31.080 offensive
00:43:31.480 what isn't
00:43:32.360 they're coming
00:43:32.800 in as these
00:43:33.520 these moderate
00:43:34.720 arbiters
00:43:35.960 so they
00:43:36.620 they this
00:43:37.400 organization
00:43:38.020 these are the
00:43:38.540 people that
00:43:38.960 orchestrated
00:43:39.580 the sponsor
00:43:40.320 attacks against
00:43:41.160 me and you
00:43:42.200 yeah
00:43:42.480 they organize
00:43:43.440 the demonstrations
00:43:44.700 in front of
00:43:45.340 fox
00:43:45.680 they've got
00:43:46.540 money
00:43:46.920 they pay
00:43:47.840 people
00:43:48.360 they're awful
00:43:49.700 they're anti
00:43:50.700 democracy
00:43:51.580 and i i hope
00:43:53.020 you guys um
00:43:53.920 you know i listen
00:43:54.500 when i can but i
00:43:55.680 when you get stuff
00:43:57.040 send it to me
00:43:57.840 because we're
00:43:58.340 certainly uh
00:43:59.500 looking at these
00:44:00.240 people uh
00:44:01.180 hard
00:44:01.720 these media matters
00:44:02.680 i'll send you
00:44:03.300 the worst part
00:44:04.540 about this is
00:44:05.380 the worst part
00:44:07.080 about it is
00:44:07.780 these people
00:44:08.680 were so closely
00:44:10.300 allied with
00:44:11.140 hillary clinton
00:44:11.920 david brock
00:44:13.820 who's the founder
00:44:14.840 of this
00:44:15.200 was clinton's
00:44:16.260 consigliere
00:44:17.180 if clinton had
00:44:18.340 ever been
00:44:18.920 elected president
00:44:19.720 these people
00:44:20.740 would be in
00:44:21.500 the white house
00:44:22.300 these media
00:44:23.080 matters
00:44:23.600 and they
00:44:24.420 i can't tell
00:44:25.500 your audience
00:44:25.960 strongly enough
00:44:27.080 how vicious
00:44:28.340 and vile
00:44:29.500 and anti-democratic
00:44:31.020 they are
00:44:31.800 actually i want to
00:44:32.840 correct you on one thing
00:44:33.520 after win after win
00:44:35.060 because the media
00:44:36.240 will never take
00:44:37.500 them on
00:44:38.100 because the media
00:44:39.460 sympathizes with
00:44:40.700 their far left
00:44:41.440 posture
00:44:41.960 okay i want to
00:44:42.980 correct you on one
00:44:43.660 thing
00:44:43.840 they're absolutely
00:44:44.780 pro-democratic
00:44:45.760 which in the
00:44:47.040 in the meaning
00:44:47.860 of all we want
00:44:49.600 is a popular vote
00:44:50.820 and majority wins
00:44:52.460 i mean that that is
00:44:53.680 you know
00:44:54.440 remember chavez
00:44:56.080 was also very
00:44:57.400 democratic
00:44:57.920 freedom of speech
00:44:59.120 yes you're right
00:44:59.900 they don't believe
00:45:00.460 in freedom of speech
00:45:01.680 correct
00:45:02.060 they operate in the
00:45:03.100 shadows on the
00:45:04.120 dark web
00:45:05.280 they try to hurt
00:45:06.920 people
00:45:07.420 yes
00:45:07.760 they try to destroy
00:45:08.640 people
00:45:09.420 yes
00:45:09.800 this is not what
00:45:10.700 our democracy
00:45:11.420 is supposed to be
00:45:12.280 about
00:45:12.740 this is the most
00:45:13.680 vicious
00:45:14.440 vile
00:45:15.220 political organization
00:45:16.600 in existence
00:45:17.860 yes
00:45:18.500 and they have power
00:45:20.140 so tell me
00:45:21.120 tell me how you feel
00:45:22.560 about what happened
00:45:24.000 at google this week
00:45:25.240 with that firing
00:45:26.320 i you know
00:45:29.160 i don't follow it
00:45:29.880 that much because
00:45:30.780 i i'm not
00:45:31.840 really into that
00:45:33.220 world of
00:45:34.640 and i know
00:45:35.380 they're very super
00:45:36.080 they're super powerful
00:45:37.180 and all of that
00:45:38.120 um
00:45:39.200 but i'm more
00:45:40.520 interested in
00:45:41.660 the political
00:45:42.580 component of this
00:45:43.720 rather than
00:45:44.420 once you get into
00:45:45.560 google and facebook
00:45:46.800 and all of these
00:45:47.860 organizations
00:45:48.580 you get into
00:45:49.560 corporations
00:45:50.620 they're corporations
00:45:52.400 i mean they may not
00:45:53.520 wear ties
00:45:54.260 and they may give you
00:45:55.220 uh kale for lunch
00:45:56.660 right
00:45:57.080 but it's the same
00:45:58.380 corporation
00:45:59.040 correct
00:45:59.440 well but that's what
00:46:00.180 kind of that's kind of
00:46:01.020 what i want to talk to
00:46:01.780 you about is you know
00:46:02.540 as i said earlier
00:46:03.160 this week
00:46:03.700 look if firestone
00:46:05.100 or goodyear was doing
00:46:06.160 this i wouldn't care
00:46:07.240 but this is
00:46:08.780 this is the gateway
00:46:10.720 to information
00:46:12.020 we had uh this week
00:46:14.020 a report was released
00:46:15.800 that apple
00:46:16.640 has 58 billion dollars
00:46:19.560 in u.s treasury bonds
00:46:21.080 that's more than most
00:46:22.640 foreign countries
00:46:24.160 will hold
00:46:24.820 that gives that
00:46:26.340 corporation
00:46:27.140 real leverage
00:46:28.700 on capitol hill
00:46:29.600 you know what
00:46:30.080 we i guess
00:46:30.560 maybe we should just
00:46:31.400 liquidate our
00:46:32.000 our government bonds
00:46:33.100 because that's why
00:46:34.060 we don't
00:46:34.940 that's why we worry
00:46:35.940 about foreign
00:46:36.640 countries
00:46:37.640 holding our bonds
00:46:38.680 does
00:46:40.060 are these corporations
00:46:41.620 that the left
00:46:43.520 loves
00:46:44.260 are they becoming
00:46:46.120 worrisome at all
00:46:47.000 to you bill
00:46:47.500 that's an interesting
00:46:51.080 question
00:46:51.720 they are
00:46:52.960 they are very
00:46:54.000 very powerful
00:46:54.980 agents
00:46:55.680 and they
00:46:56.500 control
00:46:57.320 now
00:46:57.920 most of the
00:46:59.200 information
00:46:59.840 flow
00:47:00.560 and
00:47:02.160 with the
00:47:03.160 destruction
00:47:04.140 of cable
00:47:05.020 news
00:47:05.640 and that's
00:47:06.900 coming very
00:47:07.760 very fast
00:47:08.420 very fast
00:47:09.020 talk radio
00:47:10.900 pretty much
00:47:11.540 is the only
00:47:12.220 counter
00:47:13.220 to
00:47:14.740 the
00:47:16.260 internet
00:47:17.200 information
00:47:18.160 flow
00:47:18.600 which is not
00:47:19.260 an honest
00:47:19.940 situation
00:47:21.140 so yes
00:47:21.920 it's dangerous
00:47:23.220 um
00:47:24.380 i'm not so
00:47:25.060 concerned about
00:47:25.580 them holding
00:47:26.100 bonds
00:47:26.720 um
00:47:27.900 although
00:47:28.540 yeah i mean
00:47:29.500 i guess
00:47:30.000 down the line
00:47:30.820 they could
00:47:31.220 do a blackmail
00:47:32.340 thing
00:47:32.660 you better
00:47:33.100 do what we
00:47:33.600 want
00:47:33.940 or we're
00:47:34.260 going to
00:47:34.440 liquidate
00:47:34.920 or something
00:47:35.340 i see what
00:47:36.180 you're saying
00:47:36.780 yeah it's not
00:47:37.820 like it's not
00:47:38.340 like the top
00:47:38.940 of my concerns
00:47:39.780 but it is
00:47:40.500 but it is
00:47:41.360 a part of it
00:47:42.260 it's like
00:47:42.580 wait a minute
00:47:42.920 these these
00:47:43.460 guys are getting
00:47:43.920 really powerful
00:47:45.680 they are very
00:47:47.820 powerful but
00:47:48.440 there's nothing
00:47:48.760 you can do
00:47:49.300 about that
00:47:49.840 in a capitalistic
00:47:50.740 society
00:47:51.260 right
00:47:51.580 the more
00:47:52.120 successful
00:47:52.580 corporations
00:47:53.620 come more
00:47:54.120 powerful they
00:47:54.720 become
00:47:55.040 yeah
00:47:55.340 um
00:47:56.120 you can expose
00:47:56.820 it
00:47:57.260 you can tell
00:47:58.160 the folks
00:47:58.540 what's going
00:47:59.020 on
00:47:59.580 um
00:48:00.820 and you
00:48:01.540 would expect
00:48:02.020 the information
00:48:03.200 flow they're
00:48:03.760 getting is not
00:48:04.480 honest
00:48:05.040 right
00:48:05.400 and you can
00:48:06.000 expect
00:48:06.300 certainly
00:48:06.820 noble but
00:48:07.900 you can't
00:48:08.460 stop them
00:48:09.200 from accumulating
00:48:10.040 assets
00:48:10.480 no but you
00:48:11.280 can start
00:48:12.480 to say
00:48:13.160 um
00:48:14.300 to our
00:48:15.340 representatives
00:48:16.300 i don't want
00:48:17.000 you in bed
00:48:17.460 with these
00:48:17.780 people
00:48:18.080 there's no
00:48:18.520 special favors
00:48:19.340 for these
00:48:20.060 people
00:48:20.380 right
00:48:21.680 so bill
00:48:22.340 i want to
00:48:22.660 take a break
00:48:23.080 and then i
00:48:23.320 want to
00:48:23.580 we have a ton
00:48:24.440 to talk about
00:48:24.920 in the news
00:48:25.240 this week
00:48:25.600 but i actually
00:48:26.220 would like to
00:48:27.400 pick your brain
00:48:28.380 honestly
00:48:28.900 um
00:48:29.580 because
00:48:30.100 uh
00:48:31.340 i i have
00:48:32.740 tremendous respect
00:48:33.900 for you as
00:48:34.480 as you know
00:48:35.320 um
00:48:36.240 on on multiple
00:48:37.140 fronts
00:48:37.540 but one of them
00:48:38.500 is you are a
00:48:39.520 very shrewd
00:48:40.620 businessman
00:48:41.080 you're very
00:48:41.680 smart
00:48:42.100 you took
00:48:43.220 every show
00:48:44.160 um
00:48:45.620 you know
00:48:46.280 i i run on
00:48:47.200 passion and gut
00:48:48.140 and feelings
00:48:48.700 and you are much
00:48:49.500 more of a
00:48:50.220 scientific
00:48:51.120 uh
00:48:51.780 kind of guy
00:48:52.460 and
00:48:53.020 um
00:48:54.220 uh
00:48:54.960 you've made
00:48:55.620 a brilliant
00:48:56.180 move
00:48:56.720 this week
00:48:57.380 and not
00:48:58.340 going
00:48:58.760 running to
00:48:59.580 somebody else
00:49:00.480 and saying
00:49:00.980 okay i'll
00:49:01.580 fall under
00:49:02.140 your umbrella
00:49:03.040 you're doing
00:49:04.260 it yourself
00:49:04.920 i want to
00:49:05.420 talk to you
00:49:05.840 about the
00:49:06.180 future of
00:49:06.900 cable news
00:49:07.520 i want to
00:49:07.880 talk to you
00:49:08.300 about the
00:49:08.560 future of
00:49:09.280 of information
00:49:10.620 uh
00:49:11.640 and it's
00:49:12.080 fascinating
00:49:12.600 what's happening
00:49:13.280 it really is
00:49:14.400 it really is
00:49:15.060 and nobody's
00:49:16.240 talking about it
00:49:16.960 so your audience
00:49:17.680 is going to
00:49:18.060 get a lot
00:49:18.660 of information
00:49:19.360 fast
00:49:20.000 after these
00:49:22.020 announcements
00:49:22.580 of interest
00:49:23.260 wow
00:49:24.440 wow
00:49:25.040 thank you
00:49:25.600 all right
00:49:26.320 back in just
00:49:26.860 a second
00:49:27.140 with bill
00:49:27.800 o'reilly
00:49:28.080 from bill
00:49:28.520 o'reilly
00:49:28.840 dot com
00:49:29.420 let me tell
00:49:30.660 you about
00:49:30.880 gold line
00:49:31.420 um
00:49:32.380 tensions
00:49:32.960 between the
00:49:33.560 u.s.
00:49:33.880 and north
00:49:34.660 korea
00:49:35.080 are increasing
00:49:36.440 uh
00:49:37.340 and
00:49:38.080 just what
00:49:39.440 happened
00:49:39.700 yesterday
00:49:40.180 i will tell
00:49:42.360 you that
00:49:42.920 donald trump
00:49:43.900 could go
00:49:45.980 down
00:49:46.540 with north
00:49:47.400 korea
00:49:47.940 uh
00:49:48.800 as
00:49:49.360 ronald reagan
00:49:50.860 went down
00:49:51.380 with
00:49:51.800 with communism
00:49:53.120 he may
00:49:54.480 be playing
00:49:55.400 a game
00:49:56.540 uh
00:49:57.300 that is
00:49:58.160 uh
00:49:59.240 quite brilliant
00:50:00.400 and i'm
00:50:02.640 praying that
00:50:03.440 that is the
00:50:04.020 game that
00:50:04.640 we are
00:50:05.000 playing
00:50:05.980 uh
00:50:07.140 it could
00:50:07.940 end another
00:50:08.540 way
00:50:08.920 um
00:50:09.700 but i'm
00:50:10.160 hoping that
00:50:10.960 he has
00:50:11.380 learned from
00:50:11.880 the past
00:50:12.420 with ronald
00:50:12.920 reagan
00:50:13.200 that you
00:50:13.540 do not
00:50:14.300 tolerate
00:50:15.320 you
00:50:16.280 uh
00:50:17.300 lay down
00:50:17.900 the law
00:50:18.440 and
00:50:19.220 and then
00:50:19.960 hopefully
00:50:20.360 things
00:50:21.660 work out
00:50:22.160 peacefully
00:50:22.680 i don't
00:50:24.000 know
00:50:24.340 but i will
00:50:25.100 tell you
00:50:25.440 this
00:50:25.800 markets
00:50:26.420 are
00:50:26.640 historically
00:50:27.200 bad
00:50:27.680 at
00:50:28.060 appropriately
00:50:28.920 pricing
00:50:29.940 this
00:50:30.980 kind
00:50:31.360 of
00:50:31.820 risk
00:50:32.620 when you
00:50:33.980 see
00:50:34.360 this
00:50:35.140 on the
00:50:35.460 horizon
00:50:36.000 people are
00:50:37.500 already
00:50:37.940 starting to
00:50:38.580 get
00:50:38.820 skittish
00:50:39.500 they don't
00:50:40.260 know
00:50:40.560 what
00:50:41.020 what was
00:50:41.580 the thing
00:50:41.820 you brought
00:50:42.120 up today
00:50:42.580 pat
00:50:43.100 about
00:50:43.460 uh
00:50:44.040 about
00:50:44.740 jim rogers
00:50:45.540 what what
00:50:46.240 he said
00:50:46.680 oh yeah
00:50:47.380 that he
00:50:47.780 he thinks
00:50:48.520 uh
00:50:49.300 the biggest
00:50:50.900 collapse
00:50:51.640 in his
00:50:52.120 lifetime
00:50:52.700 is coming
00:50:53.340 in the
00:50:54.000 next year
00:50:54.480 yeah
00:50:54.840 he was born
00:50:55.480 right after
00:50:56.200 the great
00:50:57.180 depression
00:50:57.600 um
00:50:58.760 and jim rogers
00:50:59.800 so you know
00:51:00.520 you know
00:51:01.580 he he worked
00:51:02.560 he started
00:51:03.220 the hedge fund
00:51:03.860 with george soros
00:51:04.820 so this guy
00:51:05.740 knows how soros
00:51:06.600 works he knows
00:51:07.240 how foreign
00:51:07.660 markets works
00:51:08.360 this is a
00:51:09.540 brilliant
00:51:10.080 investor
00:51:10.760 some experts
00:51:12.800 um
00:51:13.420 are saying
00:51:13.980 now that
00:51:14.520 just five to ten
00:51:15.720 percent of your
00:51:16.420 portfolio
00:51:17.020 uh
00:51:17.900 being in
00:51:18.520 physical gold
00:51:19.460 would be a
00:51:20.400 very good
00:51:21.400 thing
00:51:21.820 i believe
00:51:22.960 ten percent
00:51:23.540 of whatever
00:51:24.240 you own
00:51:24.960 uh
00:51:25.480 and have
00:51:26.000 in savings
00:51:26.740 or 401k
00:51:27.680 being in
00:51:29.020 gold
00:51:29.360 is really
00:51:30.540 smart
00:51:31.000 because
00:51:32.200 i don't know
00:51:33.460 what's coming
00:51:33.980 gold
00:51:35.460 gold line

00:51:52.040 don't lose
00:51:52.340 a penny

00:52:22.840 news uh
00:52:24.320 every day you
00:52:25.200 can see it
00:52:25.880 and you can
00:52:26.820 watch it at
00:52:27.600 billoreilly.com
00:52:28.740 bill let's
00:52:29.680 switch gears
00:52:30.560 kind of i'd
00:52:32.140 kind of like
00:52:32.540 some advice
00:52:33.440 from from
00:52:34.200 you uh
00:52:35.200 and pick your
00:52:35.980 brain what we
00:52:36.760 did six years
00:52:37.900 ago when i
00:52:38.660 left fox and
00:52:39.460 i built the
00:52:40.140 blaze and the
00:52:41.100 first ott model
00:52:42.540 around this
00:52:43.640 everyone said
00:52:45.200 glenn no one
00:52:46.320 will watch this
00:52:47.360 on the internet
00:52:49.400 they're not going
00:52:49.900 to watch it on
00:52:50.520 the phone they
00:52:51.480 want it on this
00:52:52.300 it's why honestly
00:52:53.380 we spent as much
00:52:54.620 money as we did
00:52:55.640 to make my
00:52:56.800 network look
00:52:57.940 quite honestly
00:52:59.240 the model was
00:53:00.140 msnbc if it
00:53:01.740 if it can't
00:53:02.560 look as good
00:53:03.260 as nbc in
00:53:04.900 visuals then
00:53:06.640 people won't
00:53:07.460 expect it or
00:53:08.280 won't accept it
00:53:09.360 those days are
00:53:10.720 over we've laid
00:53:12.380 the groundwork
00:53:13.180 in the rails and
00:53:14.200 now you are the
00:53:15.680 first one to come
00:53:16.660 out as a really
00:53:19.080 big guy and say
00:53:20.380 okay i'm going to
00:53:22.440 go and do this
00:53:23.580 model and i'm
00:53:24.700 going to do it
00:53:25.080 by myself i
00:53:26.140 don't need to
00:53:27.320 join a network
00:53:28.580 or whatever i'm
00:53:29.600 going to do it
00:53:30.120 by myself
00:53:30.840 how long before
00:53:32.940 bill this
00:53:33.820 becomes the
00:53:34.780 absolute norm
00:53:35.780 you know it's
00:53:38.120 hard to say
00:53:38.760 our blueprint
00:53:39.820 is that we
00:53:41.360 want to deliver
00:53:42.220 on a daily
00:53:43.160 basis
00:53:43.720 30 to 40
00:53:46.280 minutes of
00:53:47.580 honest news
00:53:48.620 analysis honest
00:53:49.580 in the sense
00:53:50.080 that it's fact
00:53:50.880 based and
00:53:52.800 we're going to
00:53:53.580 do that and
00:53:54.520 so we did a
00:53:55.080 prototype this week
00:53:56.160 on billoreilly.com
00:53:57.440 where i was in
00:53:57.980 a studio in
00:53:59.120 a spiffy jacket
00:54:00.060 and tie and
00:54:01.540 we had guests
00:54:02.360 by via skype
00:54:03.860 and it went
00:54:06.040 very well i
00:54:07.480 mean it looked
00:54:07.980 good people
00:54:08.680 liked it we
00:54:10.380 have it up now
00:54:11.080 billoreilly.com
00:54:12.240 anybody can see
00:54:13.160 the prototype
00:54:13.740 and it and it
00:54:14.680 and it was tough
00:54:15.460 it was tough
00:54:16.040 analysis talk
00:54:16.740 about north
00:54:17.100 korea and stuff
00:54:17.920 like that now
00:54:19.100 we haven't decided
00:54:21.000 exactly uh
00:54:22.860 when we're going
00:54:23.400 to launch uh
00:54:25.000 this uh on a
00:54:26.360 daily basis
00:54:27.020 because we're
00:54:27.780 doing our podcast
00:54:29.100 from my home
00:54:30.280 office now
00:54:31.040 and it's working
00:54:32.300 very very well
00:54:33.200 but it's going
00:54:34.460 to happen
00:54:34.860 and and even
00:54:36.560 if i decide to
00:54:37.500 come back to
00:54:38.480 cable tv
00:54:39.560 um we'll still
00:54:41.580 do this
00:54:43.260 30 to 40
00:54:44.420 minutes per day
00:54:45.620 because we
00:54:47.020 don't want
00:54:47.600 any i'm sorry
00:54:48.920 about that
00:54:49.560 oh my gosh
00:54:50.240 that that's
00:54:50.940 enthusiasm
00:54:51.740 and enthusiasm
00:54:53.180 from the
00:54:54.580 uh bill's
00:54:55.280 head writer
00:54:55.740 community
00:54:56.200 yeah
00:54:57.240 anyway we
00:54:58.400 don't want
00:54:58.800 any uh
00:54:59.580 we don't want
00:55:00.340 any intrusion
00:55:01.200 uh corporate
00:55:02.440 intrusion
00:55:03.100 or media matters
00:55:04.840 intrusion
00:55:05.440 or threats
00:55:06.340 or any of that
00:55:07.580 we want to
00:55:08.080 control the
00:55:08.760 product
00:55:09.200 uh as you
00:55:10.580 do
00:55:10.900 right so you
00:55:11.540 can control
00:55:12.060 so you
00:55:12.720 uh this
00:55:14.300 prototype that we
00:55:15.140 put out is
00:55:15.900 gonna take
00:55:16.800 root
00:55:17.100 and i think
00:55:18.440 it's gonna be
00:55:18.780 very successful
00:55:19.500 right the reason
00:55:20.480 this is necessary
00:55:21.520 this is the key
00:55:22.360 to it all
00:55:22.940 um is because
00:55:24.340 there's been a
00:55:24.800 profound change
00:55:25.800 in cable news
00:55:26.840 um and
00:55:28.780 as we discussed
00:55:29.780 in previous episodes
00:55:31.420 of the back
00:55:32.520 program
00:55:33.180 network news
00:55:35.360 is largely
00:55:35.960 irrelevant now
00:55:36.780 remember scott
00:55:37.480 pelly the anchor
00:55:38.320 of uh cbs news
00:55:39.720 no neither
00:55:40.260 doesn't
00:55:40.940 pack it in
00:55:41.740 and nobody even
00:55:42.820 knew
00:55:43.140 yeah
00:55:43.540 i mean nobody
00:55:44.540 even said a word
00:55:45.380 it was like poor
00:55:46.120 scott
00:55:46.460 he was there
00:55:46.860 six years
00:55:47.440 on every
00:55:48.060 night
00:55:48.480 he was
00:55:49.540 taking walter
00:55:50.080 cronkite
00:55:50.540 seat and he's
00:55:51.060 out of there
00:55:51.440 and nobody
00:55:51.760 even cares
00:55:52.400 that's how
00:55:53.360 irrelevant
00:55:53.860 the nightly
00:55:54.760 news is
00:55:55.360 uh the morning
00:55:56.720 is entertainment
00:55:57.420 so when cable
00:55:59.360 news
00:55:59.940 starts then
00:56:01.540 to change
00:56:03.060 fundamentally
00:56:03.980 change
00:56:04.700 not into a
00:56:05.980 news service
00:56:06.760 anymore
00:56:07.180 they're not a
00:56:08.200 news service
00:56:09.100 they're basically
00:56:10.340 a party
00:56:11.440 apparatus
00:56:12.980 so msnbc cnn
00:56:15.460 they're a democratic
00:56:16.260 party apparatus
00:56:17.400 and fox news
00:56:18.760 to some extent
00:56:19.780 not not to the
00:56:21.220 extent of the
00:56:21.760 others
00:56:22.100 reflects a republican
00:56:23.680 point of view
00:56:24.320 well where
00:56:25.300 do americans go
00:56:26.980 for the truth
00:56:28.880 for people seeking
00:56:30.040 the truth
00:56:30.800 and not having a
00:56:32.200 vested interest in
00:56:33.060 one political party
00:56:34.020 or one political
00:56:34.720 philosophy
00:56:35.280 there's nowhere to
00:56:36.800 go
00:56:37.120 so that this
00:56:39.580 in a capitalist
00:56:40.320 society
00:56:41.080 this
00:56:42.400 blaze
00:56:44.100 the beck blaze
00:56:45.340 o'reilly
00:56:46.040 billoreilly.com
00:56:47.340 this now presents
00:56:48.780 a very very
00:56:50.240 attractive alternative
00:56:51.360 to millions of
00:56:52.540 americans who love
00:56:53.440 their country and
00:56:54.120 want to know about
00:56:54.800 it in a truthful
00:56:55.640 way
00:56:56.100 bill um
00:56:59.200 you're stunned
00:56:59.880 at that
00:57:00.200 no no no
00:57:01.440 no i was actually
00:57:02.880 absolutely stunned
00:57:03.780 it's so right on
00:57:05.040 i was nobody
00:57:05.900 has ever talked
00:57:06.760 that way to you
00:57:07.480 i was actually
00:57:08.440 hoping for a
00:57:09.120 deeper insight
00:57:09.800 why don't you put
00:57:10.360 the dog on the
00:57:11.100 phone
00:57:11.380 all right
00:57:15.420 when we come
00:57:15.940 back we have
00:57:16.480 this corgi
00:57:17.240 when we come
00:57:18.380 back we're gonna
00:57:18.880 have to uh
00:57:19.900 go over the
00:57:21.140 strategy of north
00:57:22.340 korea how bill
00:57:23.300 thinks that is
00:57:24.260 going where that
00:57:25.680 ends up and all
00:57:27.260 the rest of the
00:57:27.700 news of the week
00:57:28.380 with bill o'reilly
00:57:29.080 you can hear him
00:57:29.880 uh every day at
00:57:31.740 billoreilly.com
00:57:32.980 that's billoreilly.com
00:57:34.600 so let's bring
00:57:57.680 bill o'reilly from
00:57:58.500 bill o'reilly back
00:57:59.380 uh billoreilly.com
00:58:01.060 and talk to him
00:58:02.120 a little bit
00:58:02.480 about north korea
00:58:03.700 first of all
00:58:04.540 bill are we going
00:58:05.720 to war with
00:58:06.260 north korea
00:58:07.000 no
00:58:08.440 okay if
00:58:11.100 if it is
00:58:12.320 just between
00:58:13.880 us we're having
00:58:14.980 a private
00:58:15.660 council
00:58:16.300 um
00:58:17.600 you're the
00:58:18.780 president of the
00:58:19.560 united states
00:58:20.420 and you've got
00:58:21.720 your council
00:58:22.480 split in half
00:58:23.640 and half says
00:58:25.320 mr president
00:58:26.080 we gotta go
00:58:27.240 they've
00:58:28.220 they've crossed
00:58:29.180 too many red
00:58:29.880 lines it's only
00:58:30.900 going to be a
00:58:31.320 problem down the
00:58:32.740 you know
00:58:33.280 down the road
00:58:34.800 um
00:58:36.060 we gotta go
00:58:37.020 and i'd like to
00:58:38.100 recommend a first
00:58:38.980 strike
00:58:39.360 the other half
00:58:40.700 says no first
00:58:42.240 strike
00:58:42.740 and no don't go
00:58:45.120 to war because
00:58:46.120 millions will die
00:58:47.560 which do you
00:58:48.780 lean towards
00:58:49.560 okay you can't
00:58:51.500 do a preemptive
00:58:52.260 strike with nukes
00:58:53.600 on anybody
00:58:54.420 that's not
00:58:55.220 acceptable
00:58:55.980 in the world
00:58:56.500 we live in
00:58:57.120 you could do
00:58:58.280 um
00:58:59.180 you know
00:59:00.280 some bombing
00:59:01.500 like the like
00:59:02.280 you did in syria
00:59:03.080 take out
00:59:03.860 uh
00:59:04.860 a strategic
00:59:06.600 military target
00:59:07.680 i mean it's
00:59:08.160 certainly possible
00:59:08.900 but
00:59:09.240 i don't see that
00:59:10.260 happening
00:59:10.600 what i see
00:59:11.160 happening is
00:59:12.120 um
00:59:12.600 this is
00:59:13.480 trump
00:59:14.060 is basically
00:59:15.140 telling the world
00:59:16.160 look i'm capable
00:59:17.120 of this
00:59:17.900 which is true
00:59:19.260 i'm capable
00:59:20.680 of it
00:59:21.100 whereas obama
00:59:21.740 was and everybody
00:59:22.440 knew
00:59:23.060 that he was
00:59:23.820 no matter what
00:59:24.420 you did
00:59:24.860 obama wasn't
00:59:25.680 going to do
00:59:26.220 anything drastic
00:59:27.700 and it's like
00:59:28.200 merkel today
00:59:28.820 the german
00:59:29.460 uh
00:59:30.440 chancellor
00:59:31.160 comes in
00:59:32.020 and says
00:59:32.580 uh
00:59:33.020 um
00:59:33.880 well there really
00:59:34.720 isn't any
00:59:35.280 military solution
00:59:36.260 to north korea
00:59:37.280 how now just
00:59:38.560 step back and
00:59:39.160 analyze how stupid
00:59:40.140 that statement
00:59:40.800 is from
00:59:41.460 angela
00:59:42.140 merkel
00:59:42.820 what if north
00:59:43.920 korea launches
00:59:44.940 a uh
00:59:46.080 a missile
00:59:46.660 at guam
00:59:47.580 or japan
00:59:48.280 or south korea
00:59:49.300 what if they do
00:59:50.600 that
00:59:50.960 i mean that's
00:59:51.720 what this
00:59:52.120 idiot is
00:59:52.640 threatening
00:59:53.020 to do
00:59:53.600 and merkel
00:59:54.760 says there's
00:59:55.240 no military
00:59:55.860 solution to
00:59:56.640 that so
00:59:57.000 what do you
00:59:57.280 let them
00:59:57.800 do that
00:59:58.300 that's exactly
00:59:59.460 the wrong
01:00:00.060 message
01:00:00.600 uh
01:00:01.740 and trump's
01:00:02.620 message is
01:00:03.140 basically
01:00:03.620 symbolic
01:00:04.900 it's a
01:00:05.460 symbolic
01:00:05.920 message
01:00:06.340 i'm capable
01:00:07.040 of this
01:00:07.640 but will
01:00:08.520 he do
01:00:08.940 it
01:00:09.140 no
01:00:09.420 only if
01:00:10.940 they attack
01:00:12.240 they being
01:00:12.840 north korea
01:00:14.160 one of our
01:00:14.800 allies or
01:00:15.700 any interest
01:00:16.580 that the united
01:00:17.080 states has
01:00:17.780 then he will
01:00:18.440 but i don't
01:00:19.080 see any
01:00:19.740 new component
01:00:20.680 in this
01:00:21.280 because that's
01:00:22.360 armageddon
01:00:22.960 once you start
01:00:23.580 with the nukes
01:00:24.780 um
01:00:25.360 you know
01:00:26.300 then this stuff
01:00:27.060 kills south koreans
01:00:28.340 it kills chinese
01:00:29.340 so you really
01:00:30.820 can't do that
01:00:31.880 here's where i've
01:00:32.860 come down on this
01:00:33.820 on my understanding
01:00:34.900 of what donald trump
01:00:35.780 is doing
01:00:36.160 and it may be
01:00:37.160 more wishful
01:00:38.260 thinking
01:00:38.760 but i don't
01:00:39.640 think it is
01:00:40.380 um
01:00:41.260 as i've watched
01:00:42.380 this game
01:00:43.080 play out
01:00:43.860 and i know
01:00:44.900 uh
01:00:46.080 you know
01:00:46.620 how horrible
01:00:47.940 war with north korea
01:00:49.600 would be
01:00:50.060 and now especially
01:00:51.560 with china saying
01:00:52.600 you do a first strike
01:00:53.600 we're on their side
01:00:54.520 you fight back
01:00:56.060 we're going to leave
01:00:56.720 them to their own
01:00:57.740 business and you guys
01:00:58.720 can have at them
01:00:59.460 um there's no
01:01:01.020 there's no way
01:01:01.960 we're going for a
01:01:02.800 first strike
01:01:03.320 if we do
01:01:03.960 we turn the whole
01:01:05.420 world against us
01:01:06.720 um i think
01:01:07.920 and then that's
01:01:08.620 and the generals
01:01:09.380 and look
01:01:10.040 kelly's the guy
01:01:11.060 they all know
01:01:11.560 shots a lot of the
01:01:12.680 shots now
01:01:13.240 he's never going to
01:01:13.940 do it
01:01:14.200 yep i agree
01:01:14.840 so people got
01:01:15.580 people got to
01:01:16.300 calm down
01:01:16.840 so the reason
01:01:17.560 that this is
01:01:18.200 taking on hysteria
01:01:20.080 is because it's august
01:01:21.520 there's no other news
01:01:22.540 cable news is all
01:01:23.780 i mean they're just
01:01:24.480 going crazy
01:01:25.180 um and they're
01:01:26.640 whipping everybody up
01:01:27.720 and they'll
01:01:28.500 and the left
01:01:29.080 wants everybody
01:01:29.940 to think that trump
01:01:30.840 is dr strange love
01:01:32.040 and so that's why
01:01:33.500 it's whipping up
01:01:34.300 but if you look at it
01:01:35.160 it's probably not
01:01:36.980 going to lead to anything
01:01:37.800 it's going to fizzle out
01:01:38.940 like most of the
01:01:39.700 north korean missile tests
01:01:40.920 do
01:01:41.220 so here is the
01:01:43.000 the second part
01:01:43.920 of that
01:01:44.280 um if this
01:01:46.400 indeed is
01:01:47.620 uh strategy
01:01:49.640 and donald trump
01:01:51.700 is playing the
01:01:53.300 strong hand
01:01:54.680 because uh
01:01:56.500 nobody has in the
01:01:57.720 united states for a
01:01:58.400 long time
01:01:58.820 and wants to put
01:02:00.140 everybody on notice
01:02:01.100 and has does have a
01:02:02.140 little bit of a
01:02:02.620 twitchy eye
01:02:03.280 he may in the
01:02:05.260 end
01:02:05.700 if this works
01:02:07.360 be remembered
01:02:08.460 as ronald reagan
01:02:10.020 when it came to
01:02:11.440 the cold war
01:02:12.040 this is exactly
01:02:13.120 the argument
01:02:13.760 we had
01:02:14.480 from the left
01:02:15.760 on ronald reagan
01:02:17.380 yeah
01:02:18.560 but it's a different
01:02:19.500 situation because
01:02:20.780 uh you have
01:02:22.520 irrationality
01:02:23.920 in north korea
01:02:24.880 i mean this guy is
01:02:25.780 pretty irrational
01:02:27.180 but you know
01:02:28.020 i want to personalize
01:02:29.140 it a little
01:02:29.540 uh and i can do
01:02:30.660 that by
01:02:31.240 a plug
01:02:32.460 you know
01:02:33.080 killing the rising sun
01:02:34.140 is about
01:02:34.840 primarily about
01:02:35.900 the atom bomb
01:02:36.740 drop
01:02:37.320 on hiroshima
01:02:38.600 and nagasaki
01:02:39.380 and the
01:02:41.300 power of those
01:02:42.580 bombs
01:02:43.120 was so horrific
01:02:44.000 now
01:02:44.800 they're 10,000
01:02:46.420 times as powerful
01:02:47.400 and if you really
01:02:48.600 want to know
01:02:49.100 what happened
01:02:49.640 and kids should
01:02:50.320 know it too
01:02:50.800 we have a kids
01:02:51.560 book
01:02:51.880 the day the
01:02:53.160 world went
01:02:53.680 nuclear
01:02:54.100 off
01:02:54.620 killing the
01:02:55.120 rising sun
01:02:55.640 we take you
01:02:56.700 right down
01:02:57.140 we put you
01:02:57.700 right down
01:02:58.260 into hiroshima
01:02:58.940 when that
01:02:59.460 bomb dropped
01:03:00.460 and you
01:03:01.360 and you can
01:03:01.880 feel what
01:03:02.720 happened
01:03:03.200 and so that's
01:03:04.560 why the
01:03:05.220 horror
01:03:05.680 of nuclear
01:03:06.740 war
01:03:07.820 it gets
01:03:08.820 people crazy
01:03:09.880 i mean it really
01:03:10.920 does it gets
01:03:11.620 people crazy
01:03:12.380 and all americans
01:03:13.800 should know what
01:03:14.720 the actual
01:03:15.520 horror
01:03:16.100 is
01:03:16.740 that you're
01:03:17.820 going to have
01:03:18.040 people vaporized
01:03:19.180 on the spot
01:03:20.000 that you're going
01:03:21.320 to have
01:03:21.660 fallout
01:03:22.400 that stays
01:03:23.460 for 50 to 60
01:03:24.720 years
01:03:25.340 makes chernobyl
01:03:26.400 look like
01:03:27.080 disneyland
01:03:27.800 so i think
01:03:29.680 that when
01:03:30.320 you take
01:03:30.760 that into
01:03:31.300 consideration
01:03:32.100 and in
01:03:33.720 your president
01:03:34.260 trump
01:03:34.720 or whatever
01:03:35.360 you're not
01:03:36.180 going to do
01:03:36.560 that unless
01:03:37.040 you absolutely
01:03:37.840 have to do
01:03:38.860 it but i
01:03:40.140 could see a
01:03:40.640 surgical you
01:03:41.920 know conventional
01:03:42.880 strike on north
01:03:43.820 korea if they
01:03:44.540 keep it up
01:03:45.140 bill you
01:03:46.960 were probably
01:03:47.980 around retirement
01:03:49.940 age back in
01:03:50.780 90 in 82
01:03:52.240 uh in 83
01:03:53.580 when when
01:03:55.280 uh the day
01:03:56.680 after came
01:03:57.480 out and
01:03:58.260 uh i that
01:03:59.700 was 82
01:04:00.620 is the year i
01:04:01.340 graduated from
01:04:01.980 high school and
01:04:02.920 so i had a
01:04:03.840 very different
01:04:04.580 look at it
01:04:05.340 then i just
01:04:06.380 looked it up
01:04:06.960 this week and
01:04:08.420 i was just kind
01:04:08.960 of you know
01:04:09.480 zipping through
01:04:10.040 it on youtube
01:04:10.660 and i remember
01:04:11.860 how scary that
01:04:12.680 was but because
01:04:14.020 of my age back
01:04:15.320 then i really
01:04:16.660 didn't see it
01:04:17.880 as really what
01:04:19.260 it was
01:04:19.840 nothing's changed
01:04:21.480 that is hollywood
01:04:22.560 and the press
01:04:23.760 uh and the
01:04:24.860 networks trying
01:04:26.300 to make you
01:04:27.780 more afraid of
01:04:29.440 ronald reagan's
01:04:30.400 rhetoric than
01:04:32.140 really the
01:04:33.000 soviet union
01:04:33.980 and trying to
01:04:35.320 thwart ronald
01:04:36.780 reagan would
01:04:37.400 would you agree
01:04:38.080 with that did
01:04:38.560 you did you
01:04:39.200 see that
01:04:39.720 that way
01:04:40.540 the left
01:04:41.040 historically never
01:04:42.500 wants to fight
01:04:43.200 for anything
01:04:44.000 uh and then
01:04:45.640 anybody who
01:04:46.360 counters that is
01:04:47.540 a war monger
01:04:48.580 mongering fascist
01:04:50.040 so you know
01:04:51.100 even even
01:04:51.680 before world war
01:04:52.540 ii there was
01:04:53.200 a uh big
01:04:54.320 strain of
01:04:55.000 americans that
01:04:55.680 didn't want to
01:04:56.160 confront hitler
01:04:56.880 i told you
01:04:57.480 you want to
01:04:58.280 get involved
01:04:58.860 um and some
01:05:00.400 of those were
01:05:00.760 conservative people
01:05:01.600 the america first
01:05:02.660 the america first
01:05:04.180 campaign
01:05:04.660 yeah just stay
01:05:05.400 away we got
01:05:05.860 two oceans
01:05:06.360 protecting us
01:05:07.020 well now we
01:05:07.400 don't have any
01:05:07.860 oceans
01:05:08.160 okay so it
01:05:09.780 is an emotional
01:05:10.440 issue but people
01:05:11.420 should know that
01:05:12.160 this isn't like
01:05:13.360 uh iraq or
01:05:14.740 afghanistan and
01:05:16.000 you know sending
01:05:16.900 in the special
01:05:17.740 forces to track
01:05:18.780 down isis not
01:05:19.920 like that this
01:05:21.080 guy is uh
01:05:22.160 owen is playing
01:05:23.080 with uh something
01:05:24.520 that could obliterate
01:05:25.720 millions of people
01:05:27.040 and so i i have
01:05:28.940 you know confidence
01:05:30.360 in the american
01:05:31.160 system that we're
01:05:32.380 not going to do
01:05:32.960 anything irresponsible
01:05:34.340 that's a key
01:05:34.980 word uh the
01:05:36.260 rhetoric is a
01:05:36.940 rhetoric all
01:05:37.680 right um trump
01:05:38.920 is definitely sending
01:05:39.800 a message to the
01:05:40.540 world that he's
01:05:41.280 capable like
01:05:42.560 reagan okay but
01:05:44.280 um i don't think
01:05:45.840 anything more will
01:05:47.100 come of this at
01:05:48.600 this point okay
01:05:49.440 let me give you
01:05:49.880 just some quick
01:05:50.720 hits here and
01:05:51.480 just get your
01:05:52.080 comments on
01:05:52.760 chelsea manning
01:05:54.480 as being described
01:05:55.800 as an american
01:05:57.180 beauty in a
01:05:59.100 woman's swimsuit
01:06:00.480 uh on the beach
01:06:02.320 in vanity fair
01:06:03.480 comments um
01:06:07.520 what do you want
01:06:09.500 me to say about
01:06:10.200 it
01:06:10.560 just any any
01:06:12.720 comment on
01:06:13.260 you look
01:06:13.580 you know american
01:06:14.600 beauty
01:06:14.940 if she wants to
01:06:16.140 if she wants to
01:06:17.160 be in a bathing
01:06:18.120 suit and on a
01:06:19.200 beach it's a
01:06:20.300 perfect right to
01:06:20.900 do that no i'm
01:06:21.700 not that i want to
01:06:22.360 make a big deal out
01:06:23.260 of it i don't care
01:06:24.160 it's not that it is
01:06:25.860 that she's an
01:06:27.840 american traitor how
01:06:29.720 many people lost
01:06:30.980 their lives because
01:06:32.380 of her and now
01:06:33.620 you're being spoon
01:06:35.140 fed that no she's
01:06:36.600 a beautiful woman
01:06:37.760 remind everybody
01:06:38.460 president obama
01:06:39.340 commuted her
01:06:40.100 sentence yes okay
01:06:41.520 so that's why she's
01:06:42.420 in the bikini now
01:06:43.240 maybe that was part
01:06:44.300 of the deal i'll
01:06:45.640 let you out if
01:06:46.820 you go into a
01:06:47.720 bikini in vanity
01:06:49.100 fair that's the
01:06:50.000 deal we have
01:06:50.560 it's a weird deal
01:06:52.280 but it's a weird
01:06:52.860 okay okay
01:06:53.640 um paul man
01:06:54.740 paul man of paul
01:06:56.480 manafort the raid on
01:06:58.180 his residence by the
01:06:59.620 fbi
01:07:00.100 you know not since
01:07:02.960 elliot ness and the
01:07:04.180 untouchables has
01:07:05.640 there been a crime
01:07:06.740 drama at this level
01:07:08.500 you know manafort i've
01:07:10.280 always said this from
01:07:11.020 the very beginning if
01:07:11.800 there's one trump
01:07:12.980 person yep that's
01:07:14.600 got a deficit in
01:07:15.800 this whole thing
01:07:16.600 it's him because
01:07:17.900 he made some big
01:07:18.980 money uh representing
01:07:20.760 pro-russian interests
01:07:22.480 in the ukraine
01:07:23.220 situation really bad
01:07:24.540 he had the contacts
01:07:25.700 he knew the guys
01:07:27.340 he knew boris and
01:07:28.700 natasha uh and so
01:07:31.420 you know they went
01:07:32.740 in they try to find
01:07:33.760 out what he has and
01:07:34.960 i'm glad i'm not paul
01:07:36.520 manafort mitch
01:07:37.960 mcconnell said uh the
01:07:39.820 reason why the gop is
01:07:43.220 getting a bad brand or
01:07:44.840 bad name is because
01:07:46.540 uh donald trump and
01:07:48.220 others had excessive
01:07:49.740 expectations
01:07:51.200 i just think this guy is
01:07:55.300 such a dweeb i i hate
01:07:56.940 to be you know i i just
01:07:59.060 think mcconnell's such a
01:08:00.120 dweeb d w e e b word of
01:08:04.160 the day yeah i mean this
01:08:06.380 guy when i was uh very
01:08:08.480 close to getting uh kate's
01:08:10.560 law on the floor of the
01:08:11.660 senate it was him who
01:08:13.200 sabotaged it because he
01:08:15.260 wanted to attach all kinds
01:08:16.660 of stuff that he knew
01:08:17.540 wasn't going to pass it
01:08:18.580 i just think this guy is
01:08:21.000 just i don't know him
01:08:23.400 i i don't he never came
01:08:25.920 on my program he was
01:08:27.120 always afraid to do that
01:08:28.480 i just don't have any use
01:08:30.480 for him at all so i wish
01:08:32.720 i wish there was more
01:08:33.960 dynamic leadership on
01:08:35.500 both sides on the
01:08:36.640 democratic side you have
01:08:37.680 chucky schumer threatening
01:08:38.940 all of his people if you
01:08:40.760 don't do what i say we're
01:08:42.000 going to run somebody
01:08:42.700 against you in the primary
01:08:43.640 and cut off your money
01:08:44.640 that's why he's got all
01:08:46.220 these democrats you know
01:08:47.340 voting against their
01:08:48.320 country's best interest
01:08:49.440 and on the other side you
01:08:50.660 got mitch mcconnell playing
01:08:51.920 whatever game he's playing
01:08:53.240 so it's just really and i
01:08:55.380 think americans have got

01:11:47.100 this is the glenn beck program mercury
01:11:53.340 triple eight seven two seven back
01:11:58.640 the glenn beck program so the new york
01:12:02.900 times guilty of large-scale screw up on
01:12:06.840 climate change story yeah i'd say so i
01:12:08.740 mean the thesis of the story was
01:12:10.300 basically there was a really alarmist
01:12:11.860 global warming report that came out of
01:12:13.200 the government the people the
01:12:14.820 scientists behind it wanted to push it
01:12:16.500 out to the new york times because
01:12:17.740 trump wouldn't even release it he'd
01:12:19.520 probably change it remember the story
01:12:21.240 i heard it this week a little
01:12:23.020 correction ran the next day it was
01:12:24.200 like oh yeah by the way this was
01:12:25.640 actually already posted online you
01:12:27.100 didn't see it there by where our
01:12:29.320 story was completely bogus yeah so
01:12:31.760 there was no hiding of it it was
01:12:33.620 actually already posted and available
01:12:35.480 online several months earlier had just
01:12:38.520 been sitting there yeah but they they
01:12:40.280 hit it by putting it up on the
01:12:41.940 internet that's true you know yeah i
01:12:44.140 know they just i know you'd actually
01:12:46.000 have to type in google as a reporter
01:12:48.660 you'd have to type into google you
01:12:50.680 know uh climate change study white
01:12:54.380 house and you know how hard that is
01:12:56.700 it's hard it's really hard you do you
01:12:58.940 have all your fingers okay well not
01:13:00.340 you but does everybody have all their
01:13:02.080 fingers not everybody not everybody no
01:13:03.760 can't type that in certainly don't have
01:13:05.740 anything like siri where you could just
01:13:07.180 speak it in no that's impossible how is
01:13:09.740 the new how is the new york times how how
01:13:13.240 do the reporters not are not expected
01:13:17.780 to cross a basic hurdle is the thesis of
01:13:24.220 your story true at all no no i mean and
01:13:29.580 have they lost their job
01:13:30.480 certainly hasn't been reported if anybody
01:13:34.080 did no they just posted a correction may
01:13:36.080 i suggest may i suggest what what really
01:13:38.560 happened because we've seen it happen
01:13:40.180 ourselves this is probably something
01:13:43.460 like media matters and i'm not saying
01:13:45.140 this media matters did this but this
01:13:47.300 happens all the time media matters they
01:13:50.420 put all this crap out and they send it to
01:13:53.020 all of the journalists all of the you know
01:13:56.400 media from the left every day they're
01:13:59.900 sending stuff out hey this story this
01:14:02.200 story this story this story people on the
01:14:05.180 left look at media matters as credible
01:14:07.540 enough just to run with it so can you
01:14:10.560 tell me some more of those details this
01:14:12.300 is lazy journalism being fed most likely
01:14:15.940 by somebody some organization on the left
01:14:18.840 that they trust that was the source
01:14:22.340 everybody was comfortable with it even
01:14:24.860 check and they didn't even check that's
01:14:28.060 how out of control your media is because
01:14:30.400 that happens almost on a daily basis yeah if a
01:14:34.280 left-wing organization calls these places
01:14:35.800 and says something's true that's the
01:14:37.320 default starting position yeah it is and
01:14:39.400 whether they actually bother to see if it
01:14:40.980 actually is true is a whole nother thing
01:14:42.680 with the new york times obviously they
01:14:44.640 don't
01:14:45.280 the glenn beck program mercury
01:14:49.540 you get up in the morning you take your kids to
01:15:07.060 school everything is fine you go to pick your kids up from school and your daughter is missing
01:15:17.060 you don't know where she went you ask the school they don't know where she is last you know she was in class and now she's nowhere and no one has any idea hours go by she finally calls you on the phone and says they just let me call you dad to let you know where I am
01:15:38.060 She finally calls you on the phone and says,
01:15:42.600 They just let me call you, Dad, to let you know where I am.
01:15:47.900 Who? Who just let you call me?
01:15:51.760 Where are you?
01:15:53.800 The response, I think, could change your life.
01:16:02.640 When you hear how the daughter responded,
01:16:06.820 to Dad.
01:16:10.600 Think about how you would respond.
01:16:14.020 We begin there, right now.
01:16:16.680 I will make a stand.
01:16:18.940 I will raise my voice.
01:16:21.220 I will hold your hand.
01:16:23.660 Because we are one.
01:16:25.440 I will be my drum.
01:16:27.700 I have made my choice.
01:16:29.940 We will overcome.
01:16:32.240 Because we are one.
01:16:33.920 The fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.
01:16:37.240 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
01:16:41.700 From the Atlanta area, Sean Harris, the dad of a seven-year-old girl who he dropped off
01:16:50.740 at school, went to pick her up, and she was gone.
01:16:53.880 Without skipping to the end of the story, let me pick it up to, Sean, you thought this was
01:17:00.240 a normal day, and everything was going to be fine, right?
01:17:04.900 Yes, I did.
01:17:05.940 And then you go and pick her up, and what happens?
01:17:10.380 I went to her after-school care to pick her up, as always, so about 3.20 in the afternoon.
01:17:16.500 When I got there, they told me that her bus had just arrived, so they called her on the
01:17:21.440 PA, and I went to the back where I wouldn't normally pick her up, in either a classroom
01:17:26.760 or the cafeteria area, if not on the playground, and I could not find her.
01:17:31.280 So I came back to the front, and they acknowledged that they looked at the roll call and realized
01:17:36.800 that, in fact, she was not on that bus.
01:17:38.660 So they then called her elementary school, at which time they kind of gave the runaround
01:17:45.480 that wouldn't answer any specific questions and continued putting them on hold, at which
01:17:50.160 time they then just hung up on the daycare.
01:17:53.320 So I immediately got in my vehicle and raced over to her school while calling 911 en route
01:17:59.700 to have a police officer there to look out for and to also respond to me when I got there.
01:18:05.580 Okay, hang on just a second.
01:18:06.820 As you're going there, all you know at this point is the school may know something, but
01:18:13.500 they're not telling, you know, the daycare, and you don't know what's happening.
01:18:20.080 What is going through your mind on what you think at this point is happening?
01:18:24.160 Sheer panic.
01:18:26.600 So once I got to the school, made contact with the vice principal and demanded to know where
01:18:32.560 my child was, they then told me that she was okay and she was in the route.
01:18:37.240 So as a concerned parent, I asked, where is she and where had she been?
01:18:41.680 I was told that she was put on the bus, taken to a different afterschool care.
01:18:46.900 And I asked again, well, which aftercare facility was this?
01:18:51.160 They couldn't tell me.
01:18:52.200 And then after another five minutes or so of frustration on my part, they then decided
01:18:58.000 we needed to tell him the truth.
01:18:59.920 Okay, stop, stop, stop.
01:19:01.800 At this point, when you were talking to the school, are you thinking somebody screwed up
01:19:09.080 and put her on another bus that somehow or another you guys haven't been watching where
01:19:14.300 my daughter was, were you getting feelings that something else is going on?
01:19:20.640 No, I just had just straight confusion as far as not understanding where she was or how
01:19:27.200 she could have gotten on the wrong bus.
01:19:28.940 She's very familiar with her bus that she takes.
01:19:32.760 She's been going to that facility since she's been two years old, the aftercare facility.
01:19:36.540 So she's very familiar with the proper bus that she needed to catch.
01:19:40.700 So how much time has gone by now between the time that you first find out your daughter
01:19:48.620 is not at school, not where she's supposed to be, to, I assume the police have arrived now
01:19:55.720 and are there with you?
01:19:57.440 Yes.
01:19:58.080 And how much time has transpired until you are given the truth?
01:20:07.300 I would say about 20 minutes.
01:20:09.280 And your daughter, when does she call you?
01:20:14.660 She didn't call at that time when I was speaking to the vice principal.
01:20:18.020 They told me that the Rockdale County D-Facts office had picked her up inadvertently by mistake.
01:20:25.520 There's another child at the school with the same name.
01:20:28.980 The first names are spelled differently, however, and there's a two-year age difference with different
01:20:33.380 birthdays.
01:20:33.800 So when I instructed the administration of the elementary school to contact that D-Facts
01:20:41.280 worker who, in fact, had her, I needed to speak to my daughter.
01:20:44.540 So they contacted the driver that came and picked her up and put my daughter on the phone.
01:20:50.880 When she got on the phone, I asked if she was okay, and she was visibly, well, audibly, taken.
01:20:58.220 She was crying.
01:20:59.260 I could tell she was panicking.
01:21:00.760 I just tried to comfort her and told her that she would be with me momentarily.
01:21:04.640 And I then asked the driver what their estimated arrival time would be, and she stayed at 20 to
01:21:12.400 30 minutes, which she had actually took her to a different county.
01:21:18.100 They subsequently came to the school.
01:21:20.380 It was probably about 4.20 at this time.
01:21:24.240 I immediately laid eyes on my daughter, ensured that she was okay, and quickly asked the driver
01:21:29.980 what was their protocol for identifying students before they pick them up.
01:21:35.180 And I answered, did they have a photo or any other identifying measures in which to identify
01:21:40.020 the proper child in which they were going to pick up?
01:21:42.380 And she just stated that the paper said the name and the birth date, and at no time had
01:21:48.780 anyone ever cross-referenced to see that the spellings were different, as well as a two-year
01:21:53.980 age difference, and different birth dateies.
01:21:58.600 Sean, hang on just a second.
01:22:02.620 I don't know about you, but I got a buttload of problems here, and it's not just that they
01:22:08.440 didn't check the birthday and they picked up the wrong child.
01:22:13.380 I am assuming, Sean, that you have taught your child, you know, don't get into the car with
01:22:18.440 strangers.
01:22:18.940 What kind of trauma has your daughter gone through?
01:22:24.760 How did they approach her in the first place?
01:22:27.240 Who told her, how did she know she wasn't being kidnapped by a bad guy?
01:22:33.800 Well, later that evening when I spoke to her, she was not comfortable with being with the
01:22:38.720 lady from the beginning.
01:22:40.580 And yes, we definitely taught her, don't go with strangers, and that was one of my number
01:22:44.420 one concerns.
01:22:45.160 But again, when you send your child to school, you entrust in the school, and your children
01:22:51.340 also entrust in the school, being that you trust the school to keep custody of them.
01:22:56.460 So, of course, she went reluctantly, of course, but of course, it was a part of the school
01:23:01.120 system that she felt that was taking her.
01:23:04.740 She went along with them.
01:23:05.960 It was an adult.
01:23:06.640 And when I spoke to her later that evening, I also asked her what happened when she got
01:23:12.440 to the office, and she stated that she was just sitting in a room, asked, were the people
01:23:17.340 nice to her, was anyone mean to her?
01:23:18.800 She said no.
01:23:19.800 They offered her a bottle of water and a small pack of crackers, and she said she cried while
01:23:25.640 she was there.
01:23:26.220 And they were questioning her, asking on the way to the location, the driver was asking,
01:23:33.680 has she ever been to D-Fax before?
01:23:35.400 Does she know what D-Fax is?
01:23:36.660 And of course, my child has no idea what D-Fax is.
01:23:39.660 So when she got there, she again asked her, do you know where you are?
01:23:43.440 And my daughter said no.
01:23:45.620 They went ahead and took her inside and started asking her questions about her father and what
01:23:50.820 type of vehicle he drives, and something about her grandmother, and they then just waited
01:23:59.320 for a little while, and that's apparently when they realized they had the wrong child.
01:24:02.580 Oh my gosh.
01:24:03.760 And started heading back to the school.
01:24:05.780 Okay, so if you don't know what D-Fax is, this is the Georgian Division of Family and Children's
01:24:11.780 Services.
01:24:12.760 These are the protectors of your children.
01:24:14.920 I hope you have a good woman in your life, because that would have been the one thing
01:24:27.820 that stopped me from going on a rampage, quite honestly, Sean.
01:24:33.000 How did you react to this, and what happened in the subsequent days?
01:24:42.820 Of course I was devastated.
01:24:44.920 At the time, the principal then showed up, and we were also talking with the school
01:24:49.520 police, and I was in sheer panic, sheer panic.
01:24:55.580 And so once we sat down and had a conference, we talked about the events that had occurred
01:25:01.680 and how could this possibly have happened.
01:25:06.080 At that point, the school system, they responded immediately.
01:25:09.500 They took full responsibility, and I do applaud them for that.
01:25:12.640 But in the subsequent morning, I spoke with the superintendent.
01:25:17.040 We've had conversations since then numerous times, as well as the principal.
01:25:23.460 The next morning, well, that night at home, she cried a lot that night.
01:25:28.040 She was scared.
01:25:29.120 She stated that I'd never want to go back to that school.
01:25:31.100 And I had to take time to comfort her and just kind of encourage her that everything would
01:25:37.440 be okay the next morning.
01:25:39.120 I personally took her to school the next morning.
01:25:41.480 The school system had counsel on hand to speak to her.
01:25:45.660 Probably somebody from DFACS, maybe?
01:25:48.000 Did they have somebody from the department?
01:25:49.700 Nobody there, because I know the state likes to counsel children and make sure that they're
01:25:55.440 safe.
01:25:55.780 I thought maybe the state would have somebody there to help your child out.
01:25:59.020 No, the state never offered.
01:26:01.340 This was the school system that offered.
01:26:04.780 Subsequently, the next day when I contacted DFACS, I was speaking with the director.
01:26:10.300 Her name was Ms. Parrott.
01:26:11.380 And she kind of had the demeanor and attitude of, well, you got your kid back.
01:26:16.420 Oh, my gosh.
01:26:17.120 We have the kid that we need, so let's just move on.
01:26:20.280 And she promised that I would hear back from her at 1 o'clock that afternoon, which to this
01:26:24.480 point, I still have not heard.
01:26:25.880 Oh, my gosh.
01:26:26.380 Can't seem back from DFACS.
01:26:28.420 Well, the state just doesn't have to respond to you little people, do they?
01:26:33.720 Do you have a good attorney?
01:26:35.820 Yes.
01:26:36.500 You do?
01:26:37.020 Like a really good attorney?
01:26:38.820 Yes.
01:26:39.580 Good.
01:26:39.860 And what does your really good attorney say?
01:26:44.420 We're in communication, so we're going to just kind of keep it at that point.
01:26:47.460 Yeah.
01:26:49.480 You do have a good attorney.
01:26:51.220 That's exactly what you're supposed to say.
01:26:52.580 That's exactly what you're supposed to say.
01:26:54.640 Okay.
01:26:55.040 So how do you feel about sending your children to school where they allow this just to happen
01:27:08.860 and how do you feel about sending them to school?
01:27:12.420 And how do you explain to your child that they're safe from the government just picking
01:27:19.500 them up, taking them someplace?
01:27:21.920 Well, of course, I'm still concerned.
01:27:25.260 I still have a little apprehension.
01:27:26.980 I've never had any problems with the school.
01:27:28.700 This is her third year at the school.
01:27:31.280 I've never had any problems.
01:27:32.400 The staff has always been great and professional.
01:27:34.940 It's more so the DFAC aspect of not cross-referencing and verifying.
01:27:40.840 It's rough every day just convincing her that it's okay to go to school, and at the same
01:27:47.620 time, I have to ensure that nothing happens because her trust is solely in me as far as
01:27:53.260 instructing her that it's okay to return back to school.
01:27:56.820 So kind of watch her while she's asleep.
01:27:59.040 I don't know if she's having nightmares or not.
01:28:01.020 I guess that'll kind of tell in the near future here.
01:28:04.880 So my number one concern, of course, is for her well-being, her emotional and mental stability,
01:28:11.480 how this can affect her in the future.
01:28:15.060 And most importantly, it never happens again to her or any other student.
01:28:19.560 And just different measures and protocols have to be in place, particularly in identifying
01:28:24.560 children, because the only identifying factor that they had was a name and a birthday, but
01:28:29.100 they should have height, weight, and other identifying measures.
01:28:34.160 You know, Sean, the other part of this is, I mean, because I dwelled on this, you know,
01:28:38.880 in the 24 hours since I've known about this story, I've dwelt on, yeah, how can they possibly
01:28:44.400 screw this up?
01:28:45.700 How incompetent do you have to be and scar a seven-year-old child?
01:28:51.520 And, oh, well, that's outrageous.
01:28:54.740 However, let's remember that they're doing this to kids, and some of those kids are abused.
01:29:01.000 Some of them are not abused.
01:29:03.260 And the idea that they can just come in and take your children and not notify anybody is
01:29:12.880 just a total and complete outrage, just an outrage, especially when they're sloppy.
01:29:21.220 Sean, I appreciate you coming on the program and talking about this, and I hope that you
01:29:32.960 fight with all your might so this does not happen to other children, that there are not,
01:29:39.560 you know, that, you know, we got to do what we, no, we don't have to do what we have to
01:29:43.900 do. We have to do the right thing to protect children.
01:29:48.060 But the state, the arrogance of the state to just do this and then not even to call and
01:29:53.800 apologize to you, it's just eye-bleeding, outrageous.
01:29:59.480 Yes. Very disturbing.
01:30:01.340 We will pray for your daughter, we'll pray for you, and thank you so much for sharing
01:30:06.580 your story. Anything we can do to help? Is there anything we can do to help?
01:30:11.960 Just stay on top of the story with me, and I just want to get this out so that people
01:30:16.100 understand what's happening with this particular government agency, and more importantly,
01:30:21.680 the young lady who was supposed to be picked up, was picked up for a reason, obviously,
01:30:26.280 and it could have been that she, in fact, could have been in an abusive relationship,
01:30:29.280 and by then dropping the ball, she could have been in harm's way as well, as my daughter
01:30:33.560 was in harm's way being with a stranger.
01:30:36.100 Unbelievable.
01:30:36.760 So the system definitely has to be corrected immediately.
01:30:38.940 Thank you very much, Sean. We will follow the story. You stay in touch with us. Let
01:30:42.640 us know the turns and twists, and if there's anything we can do to help, I know this audience
01:30:47.480 would love to help you. Thank you so much. Appreciate it.
01:30:50.160 Thank you.
01:30:52.020 Oh my gosh.
01:30:52.660 Can you imagine how the anger, and not to mention the fear, but I don't know what the
01:30:59.040 series of events there are, but it's fear and anger are prominent.
01:31:02.160 Ever lost your child for even a few minutes? Ever not known where your child was for a few
01:31:06.980 minutes?
01:31:07.540 Thankfully not yet.
01:31:08.940 Pat?
01:31:10.560 No?
01:31:11.040 No.
01:31:11.540 Jeffy?
01:31:12.000 Nope, they come back.
01:31:13.040 I know I've told this story before, but I lost a July 4th thing. I lost Mary for about
01:31:20.380 20 minutes. It was the most horrific 20 minutes of my life.
01:31:26.140 Yeah.
01:31:26.360 And you just, I mean, you become a bear, a caged animal, and it's the things that are going
01:31:37.780 through your mind. I can't imagine. I can't believe the guy actually was lucid enough to
01:31:44.440 get into a car and drive. Your daughter is missing. You think something is wrong. Oh my gosh. You're
01:31:52.980 not, you're no longer yourself. You are in full-fledged dad or mom protective mode. Um, and to, to have the state and all of us pretty much yawn, to have the state be able to go in when you've taught your children the whole time, don't go in with strangers. And to have them just go, hey little girl, is this your name?
01:32:22.980 Come with me? And get into a car? Do you imagine how terrifying that is for a kid? Even a kid who's been abused? And maybe even more so.
01:32:32.800 And not notify the parent?
01:32:34.180 Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh.
01:32:36.620 I mean, even if it had been the right kid, you notify the parent of what's happened, right?
01:32:42.460 Oh my gosh.
01:32:43.400 That's just, that's unconscionable.
01:32:45.160 And now this, you can, um, you can trace a company's success back to its people. Bad hires cost you money. The right hires makes your company a success. 01:34:11.940 This doesn't look like it was the first time that this has happened in Georgia, just judging by the phone calls.
01:34:16.700 Um, I can't imagine being a parent and the state comes in and takes my child out of the county.
01:34:29.300 Uh, I think, I think that's kidnapping.
01:34:31.640 Um, no one, no one would you allow that to happen.
01:34:36.880 No one.
01:34:37.820 You would charge them with kidnapping if anyone ever did that to your child.
01:34:44.000 But the state did it, and so they don't really even have to apologize.
01:34:48.360 Nope.
01:34:49.280 Are we mice or are we Americans?
01:34:52.120 Do we actually believe in something anymore?
01:34:56.720 How is this, how is this not the most outrageous thing coming out of Georgia?
01:35:04.280 And it's not the first time.
01:35:06.340 Just judging by the phone calls, which we take next.
01:35:09.820 We are one.
01:35:14.000 The Glenn Beck Program.
01:35:17.120 Mercury.
01:35:21.080 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
01:35:25.680 We're glad you're here.
01:35:27.440 There's a, uh, a story of, uh, a story of this, this horrible situation in Georgia, just a suburb of Atlanta,
01:35:36.800 where a dad goes to pick up his seven-year-old daughter from school.
01:35:41.360 She's not in the after-school program.
01:35:44.500 She, in fact, they check in and go, wow, no, she wasn't even on the bus coming here.
01:35:49.260 They call the school.
01:35:50.800 The school gives them the runaround.
01:35:52.760 Dad immediately knows, okay, something really bad is happening.
01:35:56.480 Um, he calls 911, gets into the car, can't even imagine being him driving to the school.
01:36:03.220 He gets to the school.
01:36:04.520 They're still giving him the runaround.
01:36:06.640 Uh, the police show up, take some 20 minutes before the school finally says, oh, okay, she was taken by the state.
01:36:13.500 What do you mean she was taken by the state?
01:36:16.660 She was taken by, um, I don't remember what they called it there, but, um, it's basically the Department of Children and Family Services.
01:36:24.020 Um, DFACS, I think they call it.
01:36:26.100 Um, and, uh, she's returned later in the afternoon.
01:36:31.020 The daughter is freaked, as you can imagine.
01:36:36.580 This isn't the first time this has happened.
01:36:39.880 And it's not going to be the last time.
01:36:41.400 Um, and DFACS in Georgia hasn't even called the dad back.
01:36:45.840 The attitude when he called was, look, you got your daughter back.
01:36:49.580 Everything is fine.
01:36:51.200 I have to tell you, I am not a, uh, a violent man by any stretch of the imagination.
01:37:01.200 You've kidnapped my child and took them into another county.
01:37:07.980 I, I don't care who the hell you are.
01:37:12.820 As a protective animal, I would have had a hard time with restraint.
01:37:19.280 I would have had a really hard time.
01:37:21.100 Several stories like that lately.
01:37:22.340 I mean, I, I have no idea how Charlie Gard's parents made it through that.
01:37:25.520 I don't either.
01:37:26.060 I have no freaking idea.
01:37:27.320 I don't either.
01:37:27.460 And, you know, I don't know what it ends in.
01:37:30.140 I mean, cause you, it just might be complete self-destruction.
01:37:33.980 You're at that point of like, I would completely break down every 10 seconds.
01:37:38.440 And you, you, all you'd want to do is beat the crap out of everybody.
01:37:40.720 I, it's in this sort of situation that you would, you shouldn't, obviously your child, but it's
01:37:45.720 your, you have to remember the, the, the reason why the constitution and the bill of rights
01:37:51.360 is so valid is because the second amendment is not really talking about guns.
01:38:00.060 I mean, it is, but it's, it's more than that.
01:38:03.260 It is the right to defend yourself and your family.
01:38:07.060 That is a natural right.
01:38:08.960 That is that, that, that right is in every animal.
01:38:13.180 Go up and pet the pretty little kitties.
01:38:15.800 They're lions and mom will rip you to shreds and dad will feast on you.
01:38:21.600 It's a natural right to protect your children.
01:38:24.980 Listen, and the state expects you just to say, oh, okay, well you, you did what I would
01:38:33.580 and so would everyone in the country deem kidnapping.
01:38:41.080 And I'm supposed to take it and no way.
01:38:43.960 And he, you know, obviously handled it a hell of a lot better than we're talking about handling
01:38:47.820 it.
01:38:48.040 Gosh, but I mean, it's the other thing is I don't know that I could trust bringing my
01:38:54.780 kid back to that school.
01:38:56.520 They didn't even alert me.
01:38:58.500 They wouldn't even tell me the truth once I got there.
01:39:01.000 But they will tell you that's because if he was, if that child was in danger because dad
01:39:07.760 was, you know, an abuser, you can't.
01:39:10.620 Yeah.
01:39:11.080 Because then what happens?
01:39:12.380 Then she goes home and dad says, what did you tell them?
01:39:15.140 And beats her.
01:39:16.600 Well, there's a couple of ways you can deal with this.
01:39:18.760 And one of them is don't take the children off school premises.
01:39:24.400 Yeah.
01:39:24.780 I've dropped my child off to that school.
01:39:28.960 You don't have a right to leave that school.
01:39:32.460 You will screw my child up.
01:39:34.660 They're called into the principal's office.
01:39:36.340 That happens.
01:39:37.380 They're called into this office.
01:39:38.860 They come into the principal's office.
01:39:40.540 And in the principal's office, there's another door that leads to the secret room where the
01:39:44.380 secret police are from the state.
01:39:46.040 And they question them there.
01:39:48.400 That's even better than taking them not only off school property, but then taking them across
01:39:54.400 county lines.
01:39:57.480 It's an incomprehensible.
01:39:58.780 Oh my gosh, it's crazy.
01:40:00.680 I wonder what, do we have any idea what happened to the actual kid that was supposed to be taken?
01:40:04.500 No, and we shouldn't.
01:40:05.860 I mean, this just happened.
01:40:07.700 But, you know, God forbid.
01:40:09.360 Now this story is out.
01:40:10.800 Now, if that dad is an abuser, this child who is possibly in an abusive is in trouble.
01:40:16.980 Oh, real danger.
01:40:20.160 I mean, that's a real danger.
01:40:21.380 It's terrifying.
01:40:22.480 And you know what?
01:40:24.600 Take it.
01:40:26.120 Take it.
01:40:27.560 Because the state, they're doing this for your good.
01:40:32.500 They're doing this for your protection.
01:40:34.240 If they can just help one child, it's all worth it.
01:40:37.100 So you'll just take it.
01:40:39.320 I hope this family has the biggest, badass, mad dog attorney that they can possibly find.
01:40:47.500 Brian in Georgia, you're an officer, a police officer, or one with D-Facts?
01:40:54.320 No, I'm a state certified officer.
01:40:57.280 I'm not going to say with which department I might have trouble.
01:40:59.820 Okay.
01:41:00.400 But yes, I hope they do have a great lawyer.
01:41:03.060 I had to call you when I heard about this because the number of times we run into D-Facts
01:41:07.540 and the horror stories I could fill your head with, you wouldn't sleep at night.
01:41:12.020 You wouldn't, Glenn.
01:41:13.900 I've had to call them out at 3 in the morning for a child wandering the streets.
01:41:18.260 We can't find mom because she went to go get high.
01:41:21.020 And mom shows back up an hour later and D-Facts is like, well, mom's there,
01:41:24.060 so we're not going to come out.
01:41:25.040 We'll deal with it Monday.
01:41:26.100 But this is Friday night.
01:41:27.620 What happens to this child in the meantime?
01:41:29.520 Mom's here.
01:41:30.080 She knows what's going on.
01:41:31.260 And then I've had to stop D-Facts workers who did almost the same thing here,
01:41:35.660 where they call us because of a disorderly parent.
01:41:37.740 Well, you have the wrong child.
01:41:39.760 And in this case, I would have arrested this D-Facts worker for kidnapping.
01:41:43.080 It fits every step in the book for it.
01:41:45.460 Really?
01:41:45.900 Thank you.
01:41:46.880 Thank you.
01:41:48.140 I would have, especially if the father was upset because I'm like, hey, look,
01:41:52.100 what do you want me to do?
01:41:53.260 I'm your service here.
01:41:55.260 D-Facts is clearly screwed up.
01:41:56.560 90% of the workers we run into don't give a flying hoot about doing anything really.
01:42:03.620 They want to do their paycheck.
01:42:05.300 They do their follow-up reports.
01:42:07.080 And once in a while, they'll do something great.
01:42:09.100 And I'm sure there's some D-Facts workers out there who are great,
01:42:11.640 but I haven't run into them.
01:42:13.400 D-Facts is completely screwed up.
01:42:18.340 You know, I tell you, you've just restored my hope in humanity
01:42:21.440 by saying that you would have arrested this person for kidnapping
01:42:24.740 because that's exactly what it is.
01:42:27.180 Exactly what it is.
01:42:28.940 Except the state did it.
01:42:31.520 Yeah, that doesn't matter.
01:42:34.840 So what should people do?
01:42:36.320 Government are the same laws we are.
01:42:37.680 Yeah, they don't think so.
01:42:38.800 Brian, so what should the average person do?
01:42:43.880 Other than taking safeguards and making sure you keep track of your kids
01:42:47.360 and calling us and hoping an officer that will do something shows up.
01:42:53.980 And then, of course, this mad dog attorney,
01:42:55.440 I hope they have Johnny Cochran or somebody.
01:42:59.560 Thank you so much, Brian.
01:43:00.700 I appreciate it.
01:43:01.740 He would do a terrible job today.
01:43:03.440 He would not be able to handle that case.
01:43:06.680 Yeah.
01:43:07.740 Is it too soon?
01:43:08.660 Is it too soon?
01:43:09.480 No.
01:43:10.000 No, I don't think so.
01:43:10.580 It's not too soon.
01:43:11.060 Okay.
01:43:11.340 That's been almost 20 years, hasn't it?
01:43:12.760 Jacob.
01:43:13.400 You're on the Glenn Beck program.
01:43:14.960 Hi, Jacob.
01:43:16.340 Yes, sir.
01:43:18.160 I wanted my story to actually be heard.
01:43:21.300 Back when I turned 17, I was in a group home.
01:43:25.560 I was taken from my mom at a young age because she had throat cancer,
01:43:29.560 and she was also a very avid drug user.
01:43:32.700 Wait, wait, wait.
01:43:33.840 She had throat cancer.
01:43:35.120 I'm sorry, your phone connection is bad.
01:43:36.580 And she was a drug user.
01:43:38.560 Yes, sir.
01:43:39.100 And so you were taken from her at a young age?
01:43:43.240 Yes.
01:43:43.580 Okay.
01:43:43.920 And I was put in my great aunt's care.
01:43:46.220 She was a very bad abuser.
01:43:48.600 She actually locked me in the shed quite a bit, and I'm highly allergic to wasps,
01:43:53.540 and she knew there was wasps in there.
01:43:55.140 And there was numerous days where I came crawling out from underneath it, just barely holding
01:44:00.300 on.
01:44:01.220 So I go to this group home, and it was like a sanctuary for me.
01:44:05.460 Like, it was the best place that I've ever lived my whole life.
01:44:09.000 And they were like a family.
01:44:10.220 And I stayed there for years before I ever got in DHS care because I refused.
01:44:16.320 Prior to this, I had been in DHS care, and they didn't care about me or my brothers or
01:44:21.300 anyone.
01:44:22.020 They separated us.
01:44:24.160 And so long story short, DHS gets back in my life when I turned 17, and they pulled me
01:44:29.120 out of this group home because I'm doing so good, they put me in an independent living
01:44:33.460 program so I could be prepared to be an adult at a young age.
01:44:37.140 I mean, I was 17, doing good.
01:44:38.980 They said I had inadequate supervision, and I was being overly supervised.
01:44:45.620 We go to court.
01:44:46.460 They had lied underneath oath, I believe, a total of five times.
01:44:50.680 And they also had to throw out one of those accusations, and they had to say that I was
01:44:54.440 just being overly supervised by the CEO of the ranch.
01:44:59.180 He was the guy who's constantly watching me.
01:45:01.660 I mean, the highest up he can get.
01:45:03.080 He trusted me, and he knew that we were doing right for me.
01:45:06.480 They take me out of his care.
01:45:08.440 They put me in jail, and then they, it's hard to find me a foster home because no one
01:45:13.120 wanted me.
01:45:13.640 I was 17.
01:45:14.880 Everybody said they didn't want me.
01:45:16.880 My life went downhill fast.
01:45:19.240 I went to jail three or four times, numerous foster homes in a year.
01:45:23.700 I switched high schools two times just trying to graduate.
01:45:27.240 It wasn't in any yearbook.
01:45:28.380 I mean, it was hard for me to graduate, but I did.
01:45:31.700 I overcame it.
01:45:33.160 The last group home I was in, when I turned 18, I tried to tell them ahead of time that
01:45:37.200 this girl was going to run away.
01:45:39.020 My DCS worker did not believe me.
01:45:41.620 She took me to jail.
01:45:43.380 Later that night, she ran away.
01:45:45.280 A couple weeks later, they dropped me off at a gas station in January of 2013 with snow
01:45:52.820 and ice on the ground, and I didn't have nowhere to go.
01:45:56.620 I lived in a laundromat for a week.
01:45:58.760 Jacob, man.
01:46:10.000 Look, I've listened to you for a long time.
01:46:12.660 I'm a meter reader, and I've been listening to you since I turned 19.
01:46:15.680 I'm on my feet now trying to get above water.
01:46:18.620 You know, I went to college.
01:46:19.940 I've done good.
01:46:20.480 I was a grade-A student in high school until that happened.
01:46:23.960 I was a grade-A student in college.
01:46:26.180 I got a degree.
01:46:27.080 I went to college for three years.
01:46:28.760 I'm meter reading now, currently, just barely getting by.
01:46:32.500 I got a daughter of my own.
01:46:34.020 I'm 22.
01:46:35.340 My fiancé is 21.
01:46:37.840 I needed government assistance when they dropped me off at the gas station.
01:46:41.680 They refused because we got three of their board of directors fired,
01:46:45.500 me and the CEO of the Arkansas Sheriff's Youth Branch.
01:46:48.820 And it's been like that every day of my life since then.
01:46:52.600 It's been like a living hell.
01:46:54.380 What are you doing now, Jacob?
01:46:56.000 What do you do for a living?
01:46:57.240 What are you doing now?
01:46:59.560 Funny thing is, I read electric meters for Ola meter, and I make about $1,483 an hour.
01:47:05.880 You know, I was kind of scared to say my name just in case they were listening because they don't like me that much.
01:47:10.680 And I don't want them to do anything to my daughter because I'm not going to listen to take her like they took me.
01:47:15.220 But I honestly, you might find this funny, but with what's going on in the world, you know, I want to be a politician.
01:47:22.340 I want to make a difference.
01:47:23.340 I want to do something to help people who've been in my position because I've seen every angle of this world and what it has to offer.
01:47:30.740 I've been in a rich home.
01:47:32.780 I've been in a poor home.
01:47:34.660 I've been in an abusive home.
01:47:36.300 I've been in a normal home.
01:47:37.860 I've been in a group home.
01:47:38.940 I've been in the States care.
01:47:40.160 I've been in jail because I had nowhere to go.
01:47:42.520 I know every single crack and crevice of this world that there possibly is, and I can tell you right now, the things that we're focusing on is not what everybody is caring about.
01:47:53.040 We're just all trying to get by.
01:47:55.180 I mean, North Korea, yeah, that's crazy.
01:47:56.780 That scares the crap out of me.
01:47:58.560 But, you know, I just want to have enough to get my own house and to be my own family, and it's like impossible.
01:48:06.680 I don't even have insurance, and they're going to take, you know, my tax money.
01:48:10.720 I haven't been to a doctor in three years.
01:48:13.220 Three years, man.
01:48:17.860 Jacob, boy, I would like to meet you someday.
01:48:21.020 If you'll hold on, I want my producers just to get a phone number so we can keep track of you and know what's happening.
01:48:28.100 But you should be really proud of yourself.
01:48:32.420 I try to be.
01:48:33.780 I really do try to be.
01:48:35.000 But, man, let me tell you, it is hard.
01:48:38.340 It is so hard.
01:48:40.720 Don't give up.
01:48:43.900 And you are a survivor, and you're not going to just survive.
01:48:51.640 You are going to thrive because you have not let this beat you down.
01:48:59.060 There's only two ways to go.
01:49:00.380 When the world just keeps slugging away at you, you just keep getting back up.
01:49:07.060 And I'm telling you, in the end, it's all worth it because you have created a life of meaning,
01:49:14.680 and your children will never forget that, and their lives will be changed.
01:49:21.960 Hang on just a second, Jacob, so we can get some information from you.
01:49:25.480 And I will tell you, I have been praying for empathy, more empathy lately.
01:49:31.940 And if you follow this show, boy, I believe in the last few weeks, my prayers are being answered.
01:49:41.160 What a powerful, powerful hour.
01:49:43.620 Now this, if you are booking travel for your company, stop wasting time pricing flights and hotels at the same old sites.
01:49:55.380 The only site you need now is Upside.com.
01:49:59.460 Here's the upside difference.
01:50:00.720 You save money because you're going to bundle flights and a hotel together for one price.
01:50:05.700 Then they reward you with a gift card to places like Amazon every time you buy a trip.
01:50:13.140 So the company saves money.
01:50:14.940 Your company saves money.
01:50:16.660 The employee gains money because if they'll make a couple of cuts,
01:50:21.300 maybe a couple of blocks away from their meeting,
01:50:24.260 from the hotel where they are right there,
01:50:26.980 maybe it's two blocks south,
01:50:29.540 they get an Amazon gift card worth real cash to them.
01:50:34.200 And then the hotels win and Upside win.
01:50:36.260 This is the best win-win situation I've ever seen.
01:50:39.560 We use Upside to be able to book travel.
01:50:42.840 Upside.com.
01:50:44.080 Right now, when you use the promo code BECK,

01:51:08.640 You're listening to the Glenn Beck Program.
01:51:12.680 Mercury.
01:51:16.740 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
01:51:18.680 Well, there's some good news to leave you with on the weekend.
01:51:24.800 I'm going to tweet it out and Facebook post it in a few minutes.
01:51:29.140 But it's some of the fallacies about North Korea.
01:51:31.820 For instance, they just, you know, shelled an island and it was only hit 47% of the time.
01:51:37.240 And the island, by the way, was not shooting back.
01:51:39.420 47% of the time and 20% of those were duds.
01:51:43.620 Because they are typical communist nation in collapse.
01:51:53.060 Perhaps, perhaps this story could end the way the Soviet Union ended with sanctions and
01:52:00.860 tough talk from the president.
01:52:03.300 And we'll pray that it continues to go that way.
01:52:06.080 Have a safe weekend.
01:52:07.860 We will see you back here Monday morning.
01:52:10.660 God bless.
01:52:13.620 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
01:52:19.620 Mercury.
