00:00:07.940 Let's start with news that actually means something to you.
00:00:12.340 The UN has issued a, quote, early warning over the racial conditions in the United States.
00:00:18.640 Now, this is a really rare move, and it's usually used to signal the potential of a looming civil war or conflict.
00:00:26.480 The report has come from the UN Commission specifically mentioning the incident in Charlottesville,
00:00:32.560 stating that, quote,
00:00:33.840 We are alarmed by racist demonstrations with overtly racist slogans, chants, and salutes by white nationalists, neo-Nazis, and the Ku Klux Klan,
00:00:44.080 promoting white supremacy and inciting racial discrimination and hatred.
00:00:48.960 Now, this according to the head of the committee at the UN.
00:00:52.140 Now, these types of warnings are usually reserved for countries that are gripped by ethnic and religious strife.
00:01:01.300 Places like Burundi and Nigeria and Iraq and the Ivory Coast.
00:01:08.560 That's where we are today, America.
00:01:11.120 In America, the UN is alarmed over the demonstrations by a very tiny fraction of the population here in America
00:01:20.120 in the country that has the longest working constitution in the world.
00:01:25.360 At over 228 years since its ratification, nobody's even come close.
00:01:31.200 This is the country that the UN feels they need to focus on?
00:01:38.180 There's a couple of things.
00:01:39.540 First, let me address this.
00:01:42.780 It's time to shutter the United Nations.
00:01:44.940 Close it up.
00:01:46.040 Send it back to Europe.
00:01:47.500 Stop paying for it.
00:01:48.640 Then, we need to return to the values and the principles that made the Constitution
00:01:54.340 the most powerful document ever created by man.
00:02:00.040 Completely reject the idiocy of tiny racist fragments.
00:02:06.240 And that includes the white supremacist and the black supremacist.
00:02:13.240 Anybody, may I dare I say, La Raza.
00:02:18.200 Translation, the race.
00:02:20.920 Anyone who is basing their politics on race must be dismissed.
00:02:26.780 As well as the politically correct lunacy that is infecting our society.
00:02:33.440 And if your media source is not telling you this today, then perhaps it's time you find a new media source.
00:02:40.120 The fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.
00:03:05.260 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:03:08.720 I believe, and I told you this last week, and as I have been looking at my own company,
00:03:22.960 as I've been looking at myself as a dad, as a father, as a guy who is trying to figure things out,
00:03:34.340 and I'm trying to figure out the path to the future and the path that leads to stability,
00:03:42.860 stability, I've really come to this place and this understanding that there is no stability in our near future.
00:03:50.320 It's not going to happen.
00:03:53.200 In fact, and this has nothing to do with politics,
00:03:57.220 stability is the last thing that we can expect, at least in the next five to ten years.
00:04:02.780 Because we are at, not a pivot point, we are at the pivot point.
00:04:09.860 This is the place where the world pivots.
00:04:14.140 I have been talking about this for a long time, and I have been predicting these things,
00:04:23.520 not predictions, but just looking at the events of the world and where we were headed,
00:04:30.200 and technology, and warning that this is going to be a very painful time.
00:04:35.800 And we are at that pivot point right now.
00:04:38.640 The world is being redesigned, whether you like it or not.
00:04:43.360 And that is the strife that we're feeling.
00:04:45.560 And there are people up at the top of all industry, of all countries,
00:04:51.580 that are trying to use this chaos to their advantage.
00:04:59.080 And so we have a choice.
00:05:04.940 Last night, somebody on the staff wrote to me and said,
00:05:08.040 Glenn, how can I help?
00:05:13.800 And I want to read part of my response last night,
00:05:18.080 because I think this goes to everybody in all of our lives.
00:05:28.000 I urge this person to make notes on their opinions and their beliefs every single day.
00:05:35.020 What is it you believe?
00:05:36.260 We are at the question with boldness part of our lives,
00:05:40.860 and you're going to be dragged into it, kicking and screaming,
00:05:43.860 or you're just going to surrender to that concept,
00:05:49.180 question with boldness everything,
00:05:52.020 and you're going to walk through it.
00:05:55.000 One, they're both going to be almost impossibly hard, they will feel at the time.
00:06:01.960 But one will lead to success, and the other will lead to slavery and failure.
00:06:07.720 You have to know what it is you truly believe,
00:06:12.040 and why you believe these things.
00:06:14.100 And not because you were taught, or I don't know, I've always believed that.
00:06:17.360 But why are those things true to you?
00:06:21.020 You must know them firsthand.
00:06:26.680 Because you're going to need to deliver on them every single day.
00:06:29.500 And you're going to need to do it yourself.
00:06:33.940 The more self-reliant you are, and this goes in every single business,
00:06:38.240 and every single family, every single role on earth,
00:06:41.820 the more self-reliant you are,
00:06:45.100 the better chance of success and survival you will have.
00:06:50.300 The days of long careers are over.
00:06:56.760 The days of big staffs and secretaries and all of that stuff,
00:07:03.360 those are all over.
00:07:06.420 By 2022, the world is going to dramatically change.
00:07:11.160 You will not recognize the world in 2022.
00:07:14.420 Chaos is our immediate future.
00:07:21.160 We are now at the beginning of the middle,
00:07:24.320 and this is where the main character in every story
00:07:28.240 faces his life or death struggle.
00:07:33.920 This is the point where the apex of the struggle is found,
00:07:39.560 and the decision that the characters make in that part of the story
00:07:44.480 leads you to the end.
00:07:48.780 So we're at the beginning now of the middle.
00:07:51.220 We've been writing the opening of this story for the last 20 years,
00:07:58.060 maybe longer.
00:08:00.300 But the middle is going to be written quickly,
00:08:02.720 and it's being written every single day.
00:08:04.700 Chaos right now is happening all around us,
00:08:10.640 and it is the underlying tension that you're feeling.
00:08:14.760 But it can be used to your advantage.
00:08:17.040 Now, it can be used for good, or it can be used for evil,
00:08:19.680 and right now we're seeing people use chaos mainly for evil.
00:08:24.080 They are, especially in politics,
00:08:26.920 power and the power centers are using chaos to rewrite history
00:08:31.580 and realign the base of their power.
00:08:34.900 That's what's really happening on the streets.
00:08:39.500 Now, your question that you need to answer,
00:08:43.640 all of us need to answer,
00:08:45.020 is how can I use this chaos,
00:08:48.820 this time to bring a peaceful resolution?
00:08:54.240 How can I use this time to do good instead of evil?
00:09:00.420 Read Sun Tzu.
00:09:01.500 Right now, our enemies are using the force of chaos in their favor.
00:09:11.200 We have to use that same force to our advantage.
00:09:18.000 We have to prepare.
00:09:20.140 We have to read.
00:09:21.340 We have to push our mind.
00:09:22.480 We have to think in new and different ways.
00:09:25.940 You have almost an impossible task.
00:09:30.620 You have to remain young at heart
00:09:32.800 and yet firm in resolve.
00:09:37.740 Your heart needs to be soft
00:09:41.720 and your resolve needs to be hard.
00:09:44.720 Really difficult.
00:09:47.440 But I believe, for me at least,
00:09:49.180 the only way you can do this
00:09:50.680 is to take everything you know
00:09:52.600 and throw it away.
00:09:55.740 Learn it from the ground level
00:09:57.800 as if you were a space alien
00:10:01.000 and you were coming in for the very first time.
00:10:04.300 I'm going to show you in a minute how to do this.
00:10:10.260 What have you been challenged on recently
00:10:13.860 that you challenged yourself?
00:10:17.900 You went and said,
00:10:19.340 I don't know if this is really true.
00:10:22.400 I've just always been taught this.
00:10:24.740 When I told you about the Confederate Constitution
00:10:27.720 not being about states' rights
00:10:30.680 by any stretch of the imagination,
00:10:32.460 and I said, don't take my word for it.
00:10:34.340 Go read it yourself.
00:10:35.720 Did you?
00:10:36.620 Did you read it?
00:10:38.000 Have you ever read it?
00:10:39.340 Because you need to know that
00:10:41.040 and not know that
00:10:42.000 because some dope on the radio told you.
00:10:45.460 You need to know it.
00:10:47.700 Our children right now are failing.
00:10:49.960 They're failing and they're leaving their traditions
00:10:53.220 because they believe that we have lied to them.
00:10:58.620 Because they see that this isn't working.
00:11:01.560 And then they go out
00:11:02.400 and they see the bad things
00:11:04.120 that are happening in the world
00:11:05.220 that we didn't prepare them for.
00:11:07.600 We sheltered them from all of the bad things.
00:11:11.120 And then we didn't know the bad things ourselves.
00:11:14.280 We will talk about a glorious flag,
00:11:17.720 but we will not teach them
00:11:20.540 about the horrors
00:11:21.780 that this country was involved in.
00:11:26.080 You can't have the glories of America
00:11:28.840 without its failings.
00:11:31.380 And when they go out
00:11:32.800 and they hear somebody talking about
00:11:34.800 things that they can go out
00:11:37.060 and quickly research and verify
00:11:39.000 that, yeah, that did happen.
00:11:41.000 And mom and dad
00:11:42.300 or the teachers
00:11:43.520 or the media source
00:11:44.660 or whomever
00:11:46.300 didn't tell them that,
00:11:48.820 didn't prepare,
00:11:49.720 all of a sudden they think,
00:11:51.020 we're liars.
00:11:54.940 In three months,
00:11:56.120 as little as three months,
00:11:57.540 by Christmas time,
00:11:58.700 and I don't think this is true,
00:12:00.240 and I'm always wrong on timing,
00:12:01.440 and I hope I'm wrong on this,
00:12:02.940 I don't believe this is true,
00:12:05.020 but I do believe this is a possibility
00:12:08.240 that by Christmas time
00:12:11.080 we could be fighting a civil war
00:12:14.260 or a global war
00:12:16.120 or perhaps both of them.
00:12:21.100 Please, please, I beg you
00:12:23.800 to take that warning to heart.
00:12:26.920 I pray that I am wrong,
00:12:28.860 but it is coming.
00:12:30.220 I don't know when,
00:12:33.760 but it is coming.
00:12:35.520 A giant reset
00:12:36.940 of the entire world
00:12:38.920 is coming,
00:12:40.020 and it's going to come,
00:12:41.580 and it's going to come
00:12:42.220 crashing down on our heads
00:12:43.520 unless giants begin to rise.
00:12:47.300 Now, what is a giant?
00:12:50.380 When we first got into the Iraqi war,
00:12:53.120 I said,
00:12:53.760 look for the man
00:12:54.460 who will be on the postage stamp.
00:12:57.420 Look for the Iraqi
00:12:58.560 that will be on the postage stamp.
00:13:01.760 Well, there was never one
00:13:02.940 that rose up.
00:13:05.180 There was never that self-sacrificing guy
00:13:08.400 who galvanized behind the idea of freedom,
00:13:12.840 and that's why Iraq is a failed state.
00:13:19.320 But what is a hero?
00:13:21.560 A hero is...
00:13:23.360 A hero is somebody
00:13:27.000 that just doesn't forget
00:13:29.220 what's right and true.
00:13:30.760 That's it.
00:13:32.060 That's it.
00:13:33.640 They just know
00:13:35.060 what's right and true,
00:13:36.560 and they refuse to sit down.
00:13:38.560 That is the only difference
00:13:40.320 between us and heroes.
00:13:42.380 But you're not going to be able
00:13:44.700 to sit down
00:13:46.060 when you are surrounded by voices
00:13:48.140 telling you that you are wrong
00:13:50.580 and presenting evidence
00:13:53.380 that maybe, perhaps,
00:13:54.560 you've never even thought of.
00:13:59.280 You can be a warrior,
00:14:02.060 and you can stand with
00:14:03.380 the people who will fight
00:14:05.140 on the streets,
00:14:06.000 but those people
00:14:06.760 who will fight on the streets
00:14:08.000 most likely
00:14:08.780 are the same guys
00:14:10.220 who are going to talk about
00:14:11.460 white supremacy
00:14:12.280 and how bad the Jews are
00:14:14.480 or black supremacy
00:14:15.660 and, strangely,
00:14:16.860 how bad the Jews are.
00:14:18.180 what's your message
00:14:24.120 going to be?
00:14:28.160 How do you build
00:14:29.340 the framework of hope?
00:14:31.400 Because once hope is lost,
00:14:34.140 the cause is lost.
00:14:38.640 The battle is lost.
00:14:40.040 The war is lost.
00:14:41.340 Some actual
00:14:47.000 things

00:16:04.320 888-727-BECK.
00:16:06.420 So
00:16:08.340 where do we begin?
00:16:12.680 I want to give you
00:16:13.640 some actual specifics
00:16:15.120 on one thing
00:16:16.880 and I'll give it to you
00:16:18.860 in about seven minutes
00:16:19.920 from now.
00:16:20.860 But I want to start here.
00:16:23.520 We have to figure out
00:16:24.640 a way to reconnect
00:16:25.660 people
00:16:27.160 with basic
00:16:28.960 fundamental truths
00:16:30.820 and basic principles
00:16:32.720 that made us strong.
00:16:34.160 I don't know exactly
00:16:35.380 how to do that.
00:16:37.560 I know I have been
00:16:38.840 reading
00:16:39.380 for about
00:16:41.180 15 years now
00:16:42.800 to try to prepare
00:16:44.540 myself mentally
00:16:45.480 for this time.
00:16:48.660 And honestly
00:16:49.380 it scares me
00:16:50.320 that we're here.
00:16:56.960 Bonhoeffer
00:16:57.440 struggled with this.
00:16:58.640 Gandhi
00:16:58.940 struggled with this.
00:17:00.160 Lincoln
00:17:00.440 struggled with this.
00:17:01.780 Martin Luther King
00:17:02.540 struggled with this.
00:17:03.900 This is not new.
00:17:08.500 Have you read
00:17:09.440 Gandhi's words?
00:17:11.000 Really read them?
00:17:11.660 Have you read
00:17:12.740 Martin Luther King?
00:17:13.720 Have you read
00:17:14.120 Bonhoeffer?
00:17:15.460 Have you read
00:17:15.940 Malcolm X?
00:17:16.700 And I don't mean
00:17:17.480 the biographies.
00:17:19.900 I mean read their words.
00:17:21.380 Most of the
00:17:22.020 most important stuff
00:17:23.240 they ever wrote
00:17:23.900 they wrote
00:17:25.080 when they were in prison.
00:17:27.560 Have you
00:17:28.040 read those words?
00:17:30.440 Do you know
00:17:31.360 why they're true?
00:17:34.420 Do you know
00:17:35.500 what Bonhoeffer
00:17:36.780 was afraid of?
00:17:37.800 Do you know
00:17:38.320 why Bonhoeffer
00:17:40.000 lost
00:17:40.720 and Gandhi
00:17:41.600 won?
00:17:44.220 I do.
00:17:45.080 I'm not going to
00:17:45.600 tell you the answer.
00:17:47.740 I do.
00:17:51.640 But it's an answer
00:17:52.600 that took me
00:17:53.440 a couple of years
00:17:56.020 to come to.
00:17:57.880 It's not going to
00:17:58.720 take you that long now
00:17:59.760 because when I was
00:18:00.400 looking for it
00:18:01.080 I was still
00:18:02.100 in the theoretical
00:18:03.320 world of
00:18:04.320 what happens
00:18:05.740 if America
00:18:06.840 goes down
00:18:08.300 this road.
00:18:09.180 now you'll be
00:18:10.960 able to see it
00:18:11.780 and you will
00:18:12.780 understand
00:18:13.540 why Bonhoeffer
00:18:16.360 lost
00:18:16.980 and Gandhi
00:18:17.620 won.
00:18:19.340 But you don't
00:18:20.220 you can't read
00:18:22.060 my words
00:18:23.040 or somebody else's
00:18:23.900 words.
00:18:24.640 You have to read
00:18:25.780 their words
00:18:26.700 and figure it out
00:18:27.500 for yourself.
00:18:28.120 You have to
00:18:29.220 find it within
00:18:30.240 you.
00:18:30.880 and it's
00:18:34.000 time for
00:18:34.940 those of us
00:18:37.040 who know
00:18:37.860 what time
00:18:38.380 it is
00:18:38.760 to put the
00:18:39.460 childish
00:18:39.820 things aside
00:18:40.980 and realize
00:18:44.280 that you were
00:18:45.160 born at this
00:18:45.860 time for a
00:18:46.500 reason
00:18:46.760 and that you're
00:18:48.980 going to be a
00:18:49.620 great leader
00:18:50.180 if you prepare.
00:18:51.680 how did
00:18:54.060 Martin Luther
00:18:54.540 King and
00:18:55.060 Gandhi and
00:18:56.060 Abraham Lincoln
00:18:57.780 and Corrie
00:18:59.120 Ten Boom
00:18:59.640 how did they
00:19:00.600 stand?
00:19:01.420 Why did they
00:19:01.900 stand?
00:19:02.460 What compelled
00:19:03.940 them to stand?
00:19:08.140 I want you
00:19:09.140 to know
00:19:09.620 we're going
00:19:11.560 to make it
00:19:12.060 and it's
00:19:12.500 going to be
00:19:13.140 okay
00:19:13.540 but these
00:19:15.140 are the
00:19:15.400 things that
00:19:15.840 what they
00:19:16.500 struggled with
00:19:17.220 are going
00:19:17.780 to be the
00:19:18.720 very things
00:19:19.240 that we
00:19:19.580 struggle with
00:19:20.220 now in our
00:19:20.960 lifetime.
00:19:21.680 And perhaps
00:19:22.600 sooner than
00:19:23.200 any of us
00:19:23.760 care to
00:19:24.140 believe.
00:19:26.500 But the
00:19:27.160 best thing I
00:19:27.620 can say to
00:19:28.060 you now is
00:19:28.680 you have to
00:19:30.300 remember this
00:19:30.840 one thing.
00:19:31.560 You are not
00:19:32.320 going to be
00:19:32.960 the man or
00:19:33.700 the woman
00:19:34.080 you hope to
00:19:35.100 be.
00:19:35.940 When trouble
00:19:36.800 comes you're
00:19:37.540 only going to
00:19:38.480 be the man
00:19:39.160 or the woman
00:19:39.840 that you are
00:19:40.680 prepared to
00:19:42.000 be.
00:19:43.640 And that's
00:19:44.420 a huge
00:19:44.860 difference.
00:19:47.260 And that's
00:19:48.000 why I think
00:19:48.340 most people
00:19:48.940 fail.
00:19:51.680 men's hearts
00:19:52.860 will fail
00:19:53.400 them.
00:19:54.040 We'll fail
00:19:54.700 them and
00:19:55.140 we're seeing
00:19:55.620 that now.
00:19:56.800 Yours will
00:19:57.760 not.
00:19:59.000 And I'll
00:19:59.440 take the
00:19:59.860 first step
00:20:00.460 with you
00:20:00.940 when we
00:20:02.760 come back.
00:20:03.260 you're
00:20:11.220 listening to
00:20:11.800 the Glenn
00:20:12.220 Beck
00:20:12.460 program.
00:20:15.160 Mercury.
00:20:15.760 The Glenn
00:20:19.020 Beck
00:20:19.360 program.
00:20:21.120 So a
00:20:22.200 report came
00:20:22.820 out from
00:20:23.120 the U.S.
00:20:23.700 the U.N.
00:20:24.380 commission.
00:20:26.440 And this
00:20:27.280 is very,
00:20:28.080 very rare.
00:20:29.200 They issued
00:20:30.000 an early
00:20:30.560 warning over
00:20:31.360 the racial
00:20:31.900 conditions in
00:20:32.580 the United
00:20:32.900 States.
00:20:34.280 This is
00:20:34.960 usually
00:20:35.580 saved for
00:20:36.420 people like
00:20:36.960 the Ivory
00:20:37.780 Coast.
00:20:38.640 Burundi.
00:20:39.760 And the
00:20:41.540 U.S.
00:20:41.980 the U.N.
00:20:42.560 is alarmed
00:20:43.600 over the
00:20:44.000 demonstrations
00:20:45.400 by a tiny
00:20:46.200 fraction of
00:20:46.620 the population
00:20:47.200 and they
00:20:49.460 feel that
00:20:49.920 they need
00:20:50.280 to focus
00:20:51.160 on this.
00:20:52.900 They say
00:20:53.240 we're alarmed
00:20:53.740 by the
00:20:53.980 racist
00:20:54.240 demonstrations
00:20:54.800 with an
00:20:55.280 overtly
00:20:55.840 racist
00:20:56.220 slogans,
00:20:57.100 chants,
00:20:57.620 salutes by
00:20:58.160 white
00:20:58.400 nationalists,
00:20:59.040 neo-Nazis,
00:20:59.720 and the
00:20:59.880 Ku Klux
00:21:00.260 Klan,
00:21:00.740 promoting
00:21:01.060 white
00:21:01.380 supremacy
00:21:01.860 and inciting
00:21:02.900 racial
00:21:03.280 discrimination
00:21:04.220 and hatred.
00:21:05.540 The U.N.
00:21:05.940 has not
00:21:06.380 said anything
00:21:07.100 about the
00:21:07.760 black
00:21:08.160 nationalists
00:21:08.940 that hate
00:21:10.160 every iota
00:21:10.980 of a
00:21:11.420 cracker.
00:21:12.420 They are
00:21:13.120 not
00:21:13.720 that this
00:21:15.900 is not
00:21:16.280 a neutral
00:21:16.660 party.
00:21:18.060 And I
00:21:18.660 want you
00:21:19.460 to understand
00:21:20.040 that I
00:21:20.420 do not
00:21:21.380 believe that
00:21:22.380 I believe
00:21:23.020 this is a
00:21:23.740 this is just
00:21:25.220 a first
00:21:25.940 shot over
00:21:26.580 the bow.
00:21:28.140 This is the
00:21:29.060 beginning of
00:21:29.600 things to
00:21:30.120 come.
00:21:31.120 And this
00:21:32.240 is a
00:21:33.560 signal to
00:21:34.540 the global
00:21:35.160 economy as
00:21:36.160 well.
00:21:36.680 The United
00:21:37.100 States is
00:21:37.660 going unstable
00:21:38.560 and
00:21:40.040 please,
00:21:42.440 please
00:21:43.040 don't
00:21:43.640 dismiss
00:21:44.180 these
00:21:44.520 things.
00:21:45.040 Now,
00:21:45.280 what do
00:21:45.700 you do
00:21:46.080 about
00:21:46.360 them?
00:21:49.180 We have
00:21:49.920 to know
00:21:50.340 that there
00:21:50.680 are things
00:21:51.100 that we
00:21:51.480 cannot
00:21:51.860 change
00:21:52.460 and then
00:21:53.360 there are
00:21:53.700 things that
00:21:54.120 we can
00:21:54.620 change.
00:21:55.980 And only
00:21:56.520 the things
00:21:57.140 that revolve
00:21:58.200 around us
00:21:59.180 are the
00:21:59.780 things that
00:22:00.340 we can
00:22:00.740 change.
00:22:01.980 But those
00:22:02.760 are powerful.
00:22:04.380 Why do
00:22:04.780 you think
00:22:05.440 there has
00:22:06.560 been so
00:22:07.140 much money
00:22:07.900 spent by
00:22:08.920 the powerful
00:22:09.600 to make
00:22:10.820 you feel
00:22:11.720 like you
00:22:12.660 have no
00:22:13.460 power?
00:22:14.780 Why do
00:22:15.180 you think
00:22:15.640 there's been
00:22:16.020 so much
00:22:16.360 time and
00:22:17.040 energy spent
00:22:18.060 on keeping
00:22:19.120 you in
00:22:19.800 your place,
00:22:21.360 making you
00:22:22.280 feel small
00:22:23.000 and insignificant,
00:22:24.640 making you
00:22:25.420 want to
00:22:26.160 give up?
00:22:27.600 Most of us
00:22:28.520 have given
00:22:29.080 up on many
00:22:29.780 things.
00:22:31.040 Why do
00:22:31.800 you think
00:22:32.200 that that
00:22:32.660 is there?
00:22:33.600 Because you
00:22:34.480 are the
00:22:35.100 most powerful.
00:22:36.100 If we
00:22:37.840 stick to
00:22:38.580 our
00:22:38.860 principles,
00:22:39.800 if we
00:22:40.120 stick to
00:22:41.160 common
00:22:41.680 decency,
00:22:42.920 we win
00:22:44.140 because the
00:22:45.060 world is
00:22:46.020 going to
00:22:46.680 go into
00:22:47.640 chaos on
00:22:48.480 both sides
00:22:49.200 and the
00:22:49.700 vast majority
00:22:50.580 of people
00:22:51.100 do not
00:22:52.140 want to
00:22:52.780 follow it
00:22:53.380 in through
00:22:53.920 the gates
00:22:54.420 of hell.
00:22:55.680 They are
00:22:56.440 looking for
00:22:57.340 another option
00:22:58.140 but they're
00:22:58.800 not seeing
00:22:59.540 it from
00:22:59.980 anyone.
00:23:00.560 the first
00:23:05.880 thing,
00:23:06.140 we have
00:23:06.420 to build
00:23:07.000 this from
00:23:07.720 scratch and
00:23:09.780 we have
00:23:12.020 to start
00:23:12.500 at the
00:23:12.820 very beginning
00:23:13.500 and nobody
00:23:16.000 can do
00:23:16.400 this work
00:23:16.840 except you
00:23:17.480 and I
00:23:19.680 said to
00:23:24.160 my wife
00:23:24.540 last night,
00:23:25.260 I don't
00:23:26.060 know if
00:23:26.300 anybody can
00:23:26.760 hear me.
00:23:27.240 but I
00:23:30.840 feel like
00:23:31.300 I'm
00:23:32.140 begging
00:23:32.660 the audience
00:23:33.840 every day.
00:23:34.500 I've never
00:23:34.860 felt this
00:23:35.300 way before.
00:23:35.940 I feel
00:23:36.240 like I
00:23:36.520 am begging
00:23:37.060 you to
00:23:37.540 hear me.
00:23:41.160 These
00:23:41.680 times are
00:23:42.380 here
00:23:42.760 and
00:23:45.280 you
00:23:46.400 need
00:23:48.320 to know
00:23:49.180 what is
00:23:49.720 true
00:23:50.220 and you
00:23:51.760 need to
00:23:52.540 write the
00:23:53.380 things down
00:23:54.160 that are
00:23:54.460 true and
00:23:54.920 you need
00:23:55.180 to take
00:23:55.480 everything
00:23:55.940 out of
00:23:56.700 you
00:23:57.000 that you
00:23:57.760 think you
00:23:58.380 know
00:23:58.820 and
00:24:00.540 realize
00:24:02.080 that most
00:24:03.580 of what you
00:24:04.120 think you
00:24:04.560 know has
00:24:05.020 been put
00:24:05.500 in there
00:24:05.920 by someone
00:24:06.500 else.
00:24:08.140 And I
00:24:08.700 want to
00:24:08.880 show you
00:24:09.140 just one
00:24:09.620 basic
00:24:10.180 thing.
00:24:12.280 What are
00:24:12.860 the things
00:24:13.440 I believe
00:24:14.060 in?
00:24:15.540 Well,
00:24:15.960 it's easy
00:24:16.380 to say,
00:24:16.800 well,
00:24:16.880 I believe
00:24:17.220 in God.
00:24:19.420 But then
00:24:20.260 just five
00:24:22.660 minutes before
00:24:23.320 I went on
00:24:23.700 the air,
00:24:24.240 I just
00:24:24.600 wrote down
00:24:25.400 just a few
00:24:25.860 things.
00:24:27.080 Really?
00:24:28.160 I believe
00:24:28.840 in God.
00:24:30.180 Why?
00:24:31.760 The first
00:24:32.440 time I
00:24:32.760 asked that
00:24:33.180 question,
00:24:33.860 I answered
00:24:34.920 it because,
00:24:35.820 well,
00:24:35.960 that's what
00:24:36.460 I've been
00:24:36.800 taught.
00:24:37.200 That's what
00:24:37.700 I believe.
00:24:38.760 I didn't
00:24:39.000 even know
00:24:39.300 how to
00:24:39.700 start.
00:24:40.680 I mean,
00:24:41.280 I just
00:24:41.740 do.
00:24:43.500 Why?
00:24:45.160 Why?
00:24:45.680 Who taught
00:24:46.120 you?
00:24:46.840 Why are
00:24:47.280 you taking
00:24:47.980 someone else's
00:24:48.680 word for
00:24:49.180 it?
00:24:49.320 I thought
00:24:49.640 it was
00:24:50.420 supposed to
00:24:50.820 be a
00:24:51.040 personal
00:24:51.360 relationship.
00:24:52.000 why do
00:24:53.860 you believe
00:24:54.180 in God?
00:24:56.420 If you
00:24:57.040 believe in
00:24:57.460 God,
00:24:57.700 what's
00:24:57.880 his
00:24:58.040 nature?
00:24:59.340 What is
00:25:01.460 he?
00:25:02.260 How does
00:25:02.980 he work?
00:25:04.560 What does
00:25:05.000 that even
00:25:05.320 mean?
00:25:07.180 My father
00:25:08.100 believed,
00:25:09.180 he didn't
00:25:09.680 believe in
00:25:11.220 God the
00:25:13.040 way I
00:25:14.280 believe in
00:25:14.820 God.
00:25:15.160 as he
00:25:16.800 used to
00:25:17.140 say,
00:25:17.520 an
00:25:17.700 anthropomorphic
00:25:18.660 being,
00:25:20.520 a God
00:25:21.520 that has
00:25:22.280 human
00:25:22.720 traits,
00:25:24.960 he looked
00:25:26.040 at it
00:25:26.460 more as
00:25:27.120 a
00:25:27.660 mathematical
00:25:28.740 equation.
00:25:31.120 Something,
00:25:31.920 he used to
00:25:32.280 call God
00:25:32.780 first cause,
00:25:33.880 something
00:25:34.360 started it
00:25:35.160 all.
00:25:35.640 I don't
00:25:35.940 know what
00:25:36.320 it is.
00:25:37.880 But there
00:25:38.260 is some
00:25:38.860 force out
00:25:39.640 there that
00:25:40.080 set this
00:25:40.700 equation up
00:25:41.720 and set it
00:25:42.500 into motion.
00:25:43.480 What is
00:25:43.880 it?
00:25:44.200 I don't
00:25:44.520 know.
00:25:45.160 But I
00:25:47.460 have answered
00:25:47.920 for myself
00:25:48.780 what I
00:25:49.200 think the
00:25:49.540 nature of
00:25:50.080 God is.
00:25:52.120 Okay,
00:25:52.720 so then how
00:25:53.160 does he
00:25:53.480 work?
00:25:54.760 What's my
00:25:55.280 relationship
00:25:55.920 to him?
00:25:58.640 Does he
00:25:59.320 expect anything
00:26:00.260 from me?
00:26:01.060 Do I have
00:26:01.580 any
00:26:02.000 responsibilities
00:26:03.200 in that
00:26:05.020 relationship?
00:26:06.940 What is
00:26:07.640 his goal?
00:26:09.340 What is
00:26:10.000 his promise?
00:26:11.780 Why am I
00:26:12.560 here?
00:26:14.100 If there is a
00:26:14.980 God,
00:26:15.220 why is he
00:26:15.640 allowing this
00:26:16.220 to happen?
00:26:18.080 Has God
00:26:18.720 abandoned us?
00:26:19.560 Has God
00:26:19.900 forgotten us?
00:26:21.960 Why is
00:26:22.620 suffering
00:26:23.760 happening?
00:26:24.620 Why is
00:26:25.100 evil
00:26:25.560 sweeping the
00:26:26.620 world?
00:26:27.740 Why is it
00:26:28.440 that this
00:26:28.880 is a
00:26:29.300 fluke
00:26:29.820 of nature,
00:26:30.780 this freedom,
00:26:32.480 these things
00:26:33.160 that we
00:26:33.560 say are
00:26:34.120 rights given
00:26:35.060 to us
00:26:35.600 by God?
00:26:36.680 Well,
00:26:36.960 then how
00:26:37.400 come it's
00:26:38.460 only been
00:26:39.200 that way
00:26:39.840 for 228
00:26:41.380 years out
00:26:42.160 of the
00:26:42.600 millions
00:26:43.100 of years?
00:26:47.060 How could
00:26:47.920 a loving
00:26:48.540 God only
00:26:49.500 allow us
00:26:50.260 to have
00:26:50.820 these rights
00:26:51.720 for 228
00:26:53.560 years and
00:26:55.180 the reign
00:26:56.080 of kings
00:26:56.760 and monsters
00:26:57.560 and tyrants
00:26:58.560 have ruled
00:26:59.660 the rest?
00:27:00.360 He wants
00:27:07.900 me to
00:27:08.300 forgive.
00:27:11.480 I don't
00:27:12.160 know how
00:27:12.500 to forgive.
00:27:14.560 What does
00:27:15.200 that entail?
00:27:17.220 How do I
00:27:17.940 even do
00:27:18.340 that?
00:27:20.140 Who do I
00:27:20.740 forgive?
00:27:21.180 there's
00:27:28.360 somebody in
00:27:28.860 my life
00:27:29.380 that
00:27:31.820 caused
00:27:32.380 a deeper
00:27:34.660 scar
00:27:35.060 in my
00:27:36.240 life
00:27:36.540 than
00:27:37.740 anyone
00:27:39.560 ever has
00:27:40.860 and
00:27:42.060 continued
00:27:42.920 for years
00:27:45.560 to
00:27:47.320 continue
00:27:48.020 to open
00:27:48.780 that scar
00:27:49.520 and just
00:27:50.080 keep
00:27:50.600 stabbing
00:27:52.140 me
00:27:52.480 and I
00:27:56.040 could
00:27:56.480 not
00:27:57.000 forgive
00:27:57.540 and
00:28:01.580 Tanya
00:28:01.820 said to
00:28:02.260 me
00:28:02.500 at one
00:28:02.860 point
00:28:03.160 you
00:28:05.000 got to
00:28:05.280 let this
00:28:05.680 go
00:28:06.120 and she
00:28:08.580 was
00:28:08.980 angry
00:28:10.040 because she
00:28:10.460 saw what
00:28:11.080 was happening
00:28:11.660 and I
00:28:15.060 said
00:28:15.300 how?
00:28:15.660 how?
00:28:15.700 for five
00:28:21.480 or six
00:28:21.880 years
00:28:22.180 we prayed
00:28:22.660 every
00:28:23.020 single
00:28:23.420 night
00:28:23.680 and
00:28:23.860 every
00:28:24.120 single
00:28:24.420 morning
00:28:24.700 together
00:28:25.180 please
00:28:27.100 please
00:28:28.780 help me
00:28:30.180 let this
00:28:30.580 go
00:28:30.800 please
00:28:31.660 help me
00:28:32.560 forgive
00:28:33.020 and it was
00:28:34.340 really hard
00:28:34.920 because the
00:28:35.320 wound
00:28:35.600 continued
00:28:36.560 to be
00:28:37.420 opened
00:28:38.620 every
00:28:39.280 single
00:28:40.060 day
00:28:40.660 every
00:28:41.120 day
00:28:41.440 and I
00:28:44.260 was
00:28:45.100 I truly
00:28:47.620 believe
00:28:47.920 there's no
00:28:48.320 way I
00:28:48.580 can ever
00:28:48.900 forgive
00:28:49.260 I can't
00:28:50.320 how can
00:28:51.000 I?
00:28:55.980 one day
00:28:57.140 Tanya and
00:28:59.760 I were in
00:29:00.660 the car
00:29:01.040 and we
00:29:03.740 had just
00:29:04.480 been with
00:29:05.740 this individual
00:29:06.380 and about
00:29:10.360 a year
00:29:10.720 before
00:29:11.160 we were
00:29:11.960 we were
00:29:12.480 someplace
00:29:12.960 and this
00:29:14.700 individual
00:29:15.440 just was
00:29:16.340 so horrendous
00:29:17.660 that we
00:29:18.580 actually drove
00:29:19.660 about 150
00:29:20.800 miles in
00:29:21.720 the wrong
00:29:22.160 direction
00:29:22.760 before we
00:29:23.880 realized that
00:29:24.960 we were we
00:29:25.480 shouldn't have
00:29:25.740 been driving
00:29:26.140 before we
00:29:27.940 even realized
00:29:28.740 we were
00:29:29.120 headed in
00:29:30.000 the wrong
00:29:30.500 direction
00:29:31.020 we were
00:29:33.540 just so
00:29:33.940 caught up
00:29:34.600 in I
00:29:35.260 can't
00:29:35.840 believe
00:29:36.260 what just
00:29:36.900 happened
00:29:37.460 about a
00:29:40.660 year later
00:29:41.220 after about
00:29:42.040 five years
00:29:42.640 of praying
00:29:43.140 we got
00:29:44.520 in the
00:29:44.760 car
00:29:45.020 and we
00:29:47.960 both just
00:29:48.500 started crying
00:29:49.160 and it
00:29:50.140 wasn't for
00:29:50.580 us
00:29:50.940 it was for
00:29:52.540 this other
00:29:52.980 individual
00:29:53.380 and we
00:29:53.860 were like
00:29:54.280 think of
00:29:58.760 this
00:29:59.100 the pain
00:30:01.960 that
00:30:04.540 this
00:30:06.040 individual
00:30:06.440 must be
00:30:07.200 in
00:30:07.560 to do
00:30:09.260 this
00:30:09.780 forgiveness
00:30:14.100 was easy
00:30:15.420 once there
00:30:16.000 was empathy
00:30:16.660 but getting
00:30:21.260 there
00:30:21.620 was a
00:30:23.260 struggle
00:30:23.620 I didn't
00:30:26.800 think was
00:30:27.140 even
00:30:27.380 possible
00:30:28.000 that's
00:30:35.760 what's
00:30:35.960 expected
00:30:36.440 of us
00:30:37.000 and it's
00:30:41.220 why I
00:30:42.080 have been
00:30:42.780 praying
00:30:43.720 lately
00:30:44.160 for
00:30:44.740 courage
00:30:46.100 and
00:30:47.840 empathy
00:30:48.520 and
00:30:50.360 understanding
00:30:50.940 or vision
00:30:51.600 gonna need
00:30:54.340 the courage
00:30:54.820 to stand
00:30:55.460 you're gonna
00:30:56.500 need the
00:30:57.100 plan or
00:30:58.420 the vision
00:30:59.040 to be able
00:31:00.140 to see
00:31:00.760 through the
00:31:01.620 muck and
00:31:02.240 the smoke
00:31:02.880 but you're
00:31:04.640 gonna need
00:31:05.060 empathy
00:31:05.560 because it'll
00:31:06.900 be the only
00:31:07.500 thing that
00:31:08.780 stops you
00:31:10.080 from reaching
00:31:10.840 out and
00:31:11.660 striking back
00:31:12.980 and boy
00:31:14.760 I know
00:31:15.940 I'm in the
00:31:16.720 minority of
00:31:17.640 America now
00:31:19.080 I think
00:31:19.600 everybody wants
00:31:21.740 to fight back
00:31:22.500 everybody wants
00:31:23.260 to strike
00:31:23.680 back and
00:31:24.120 everybody feels
00:31:24.760 justified
00:31:25.260 and I get
00:31:26.560 it
00:31:26.780 I do
00:31:27.480 I really
00:31:28.180 get it
00:31:28.940 I can't
00:31:34.040 believe
00:31:34.400 what's
00:31:35.260 happening to
00:31:35.740 my country
00:31:36.180 I can't
00:31:36.620 believe the
00:31:37.280 lies that
00:31:37.980 are happening
00:31:38.480 and that's
00:31:40.140 why I said
00:31:40.640 at the
00:31:40.980 beginning of
00:31:41.580 the hour
00:31:41.980 you have
00:31:43.760 to
00:31:44.140 you're gonna
00:31:45.340 do the
00:31:45.760 impossible
00:31:46.320 you're going
00:31:47.580 to thread
00:31:48.080 the impossible
00:31:48.900 needle
00:31:49.340 you are going
00:31:50.600 to have
00:31:51.260 a soft
00:31:52.140 heart
00:31:52.760 and
00:31:54.340 firm
00:31:55.520 conviction
00:31:56.200 and if
00:31:58.880 you think
00:31:59.480 you can't
00:32:00.760 do it
00:32:01.340 then I go
00:32:02.340 back to
00:32:03.400 do you
00:32:05.520 believe in
00:32:06.000 God
00:32:06.360 because if
00:32:10.920 you do
00:32:11.640 you know
00:32:13.220 I want you
00:32:14.900 to just put
00:32:15.220 yourself in
00:32:15.720 this situation
00:32:16.280 and what
00:32:17.400 we know
00:32:18.100 from history
00:32:18.900 is mainly
00:32:20.580 from the
00:32:21.060 movies
00:32:21.500 it wasn't
00:32:22.340 like this
00:32:23.040 life was
00:32:24.880 brutal
00:32:25.340 life was
00:32:26.040 short
00:32:26.620 life was
00:32:27.520 ugly
00:32:28.460 and
00:32:30.580 death
00:32:31.520 was
00:32:31.860 violent
00:32:32.640 when
00:32:35.900 people were
00:32:36.400 crucified
00:32:36.820 they were
00:32:37.260 crucified
00:32:37.840 at eye
00:32:38.480 level
00:32:38.940 they wanted
00:32:40.040 you to
00:32:40.520 walk
00:32:40.940 into the
00:32:41.880 gates
00:32:42.320 knowing
00:32:43.500 what happens
00:32:44.900 to somebody
00:32:46.000 who commits
00:32:46.780 that crime
00:32:47.620 they wanted
00:32:48.580 you to
00:32:49.080 look in
00:32:49.840 that person's
00:32:50.540 eye
00:32:50.780 they also
00:32:51.760 wanted
00:32:52.420 the dogs
00:32:54.040 to consume
00:32:55.300 the bodies
00:32:56.840 and rip
00:32:57.900 them apart
00:32:58.580 they wanted
00:32:59.840 that horror
00:33:00.520 to be seen
00:33:01.240 by every
00:33:01.660 man woman
00:33:02.140 and child
00:33:02.740 so it
00:33:04.440 was much
00:33:04.920 different than
00:33:05.840 our movies
00:33:06.640 make it out
00:33:07.220 to be
00:33:07.660 now think
00:33:09.120 of the
00:33:09.720 firm
00:33:10.120 conviction
00:33:10.740 to not
00:33:12.680 give in
00:33:13.780 all the way
00:33:14.960 to the end
00:33:15.520 as you're
00:33:15.820 being crucified
00:33:16.460 and then
00:33:16.920 as you're
00:33:17.580 crucified
00:33:18.100 and they're
00:33:19.200 spitting on
00:33:19.900 you and
00:33:20.220 calling you
00:33:20.660 names
00:33:21.080 and they've
00:33:21.500 beaten you
00:33:22.020 and all
00:33:22.680 of this
00:33:23.180 you look up
00:33:26.240 to the sky
00:33:26.720 and say
00:33:27.160 father forgive
00:33:29.120 them they don't
00:33:29.820 know what
00:33:30.160 they're doing
00:33:30.660 oh my
00:33:32.080 gosh
00:33:33.720 and we
00:33:38.940 say we
00:33:39.680 can't
00:33:40.280 forgive
00:33:40.900 I go
00:33:45.500 back
00:33:45.840 to the
00:33:47.260 beginning
00:33:47.640 of this
00:33:51.220 break with
00:33:52.540 you
00:33:52.780 and that
00:33:54.040 is
00:33:54.380 I don't
00:33:57.140 know if you
00:33:57.660 can hear me
00:33:58.200 but I'm
00:33:59.100 begging you
00:34:00.080 I'm begging
00:34:01.900 you
00:34:02.360 please
00:34:04.680 begin to
00:34:08.180 do your
00:34:08.580 work now
00:34:09.480 because I
00:34:10.740 know this
00:34:11.360 audience is
00:34:12.020 the audience
00:34:12.620 that turns
00:34:13.240 things around
00:34:14.040 but we are
00:34:14.980 at that
00:34:16.220 pivot point
00:34:17.240 it's time
00:34:19.620 for all of
00:34:20.400 us to put
00:34:20.880 the childish
00:34:21.460 things aside
00:34:22.460 and to
00:34:24.220 do what
00:34:24.840 we have
00:34:25.440 to do
00:34:25.900 our
00:34:28.700 sponsor
00:34:29.160 this half
00:34:30.560 hour
00:34:30.820 is my
00:34:33.620 patriot
00:34:34.000 supply
00:34:34.500 China is
00:34:36.560 not
00:34:36.740 happening
00:34:37.160 is not
00:34:38.040 happy
00:34:38.360 China is
00:34:39.160 demanding
00:34:39.500 that the

00:34:43.500 sanctions
00:34:43.980 this is
00:34:44.560 something
00:34:44.820 that happened
00:34:45.340 two days
00:34:45.880 ago
00:34:46.220 China's
00:34:47.200 foreign
00:34:47.460 ministry
00:34:47.820 said it
00:34:48.560 has fully
00:34:49.260 implemented
00:34:49.760 the UN
00:34:50.160 Security Council

00:34:51.560 and that
00:34:52.360 the new

00:34:53.560 on Chinese
00:34:54.140 companies

00:34:55.900 US and
00:34:56.760 Chinese
00:34:57.180 ties
00:34:57.600 what
00:34:57.880 happened

00:34:59.280 the thing
00:34:59.780 in the
00:35:00.080 UN
00:35:00.440 then we
00:35:01.080 came back
00:35:01.680 a week
00:35:02.040 later

00:37:31.420 let me give
00:37:31.960 you some
00:37:32.300 perspective
00:37:32.980 on the
00:37:33.760 past
00:37:34.320 in 1964
00:37:35.900 barry goldwater
00:37:37.800 ran for
00:37:38.520 president
00:37:39.040 and he
00:37:40.160 took a
00:37:40.520 hard line
00:37:40.960 on foreign
00:37:41.420 policy
00:37:42.040 especially
00:37:42.600 on communism
00:37:43.360 the soviet
00:37:43.960 union
00:37:44.280 and because
00:37:45.180 of that
00:37:45.960 and the
00:37:46.240 rest of
00:37:46.600 his
00:37:46.860 conservative
00:37:47.560 agenda
00:37:48.020 the media
00:37:48.980 painted him
00:37:49.740 as crazy
00:37:50.840 and unfit
00:37:51.760 for office
00:37:52.500 it was so
00:37:54.040 bad
00:37:54.720 that fact
00:37:56.840 magazine
00:37:57.640 polled
00:37:58.180 psychiatrists
00:37:59.240 in an
00:37:59.680 article
00:37:59.980 titled
00:38:00.460 the
00:38:01.120 unconscious
00:38:01.700 of a
00:38:04.620 conservative
00:38:05.140 a special
00:38:05.900 issue
00:38:06.220 in the
00:38:06.640 mind
00:38:07.040 of
00:38:07.200 barry
00:38:07.480 goldwater
00:38:08.000 and on
00:38:09.020 that
00:38:09.400 cover
00:38:09.860 fact
00:38:10.520 claimed
00:38:11.640 that
00:38:11.960 1189
00:38:13.140 psychiatrists
00:38:14.060 say
00:38:14.260 goldwater
00:38:14.800 is
00:38:15.160 psychologically
00:38:15.940 unfit
00:38:16.820 to be
00:38:17.180 president
00:38:17.640 wow
00:38:19.020 that is
00:38:19.500 that is
00:38:20.400 quite the
00:38:20.980 statement
00:38:21.300 especially
00:38:21.800 when you
00:38:22.260 consider
00:38:22.600 that not
00:38:23.200 one
00:38:23.840 of those
00:38:24.780 1189
00:38:26.060 psychiatrists
00:38:27.120 had ever
00:38:27.580 examined
00:38:28.300 barry
00:38:28.740 goldwater
00:38:29.320 so he
00:38:31.380 lost the
00:38:31.900 election
00:38:32.300 and
00:38:33.780 fact
00:38:34.420 editor
00:38:34.880 ralph
00:38:35.320 ginsberg
00:38:36.100 was sued
00:38:36.960 by goldwater
00:38:37.940 for libel
00:38:38.700 and he
00:38:39.740 won a
00:38:40.460 settlement
00:38:40.820 in what
00:38:41.480 today's
00:38:42.140 dollars
00:38:42.420 would be
00:38:42.900 about
00:38:43.660 half a
00:38:44.080 million
00:38:44.260 dollars
00:38:44.740 because
00:38:46.260 of that
00:38:47.120 the
00:38:47.720 american
00:38:48.160 psychiatric
00:38:48.860 association's
00:38:49.920 principles
00:38:50.380 of medical
00:38:51.860 ethics
00:38:52.360 instituted
00:38:53.680 what is
00:38:54.220 now known
00:38:55.020 as
00:38:55.460 the
00:38:55.820 goldwater
00:38:56.580 rule
00:38:57.000 which
00:38:57.440 states
00:38:58.360 that it
00:38:59.340 is unethical
00:39:00.340 for psychiatrists
00:39:01.440 to give
00:39:02.040 a professional
00:39:02.840 opinion
00:39:03.420 about public
00:39:04.580 figures they
00:39:05.300 have not
00:39:06.060 examined
00:39:06.660 in person
00:39:07.520 and from
00:39:08.640 whom they
00:39:08.980 haven't obtained
00:39:09.640 consent to
00:39:10.340 discuss their
00:39:10.980 mental health
00:39:11.540 in public
00:39:12.100 so what
00:39:14.800 does that
00:39:15.060 have to do
00:39:15.480 with us
00:39:15.900 today
00:39:16.660 well
00:39:18.500 the goldwater
00:39:20.140 rule
00:39:20.660 is being
00:39:22.360 stomped
00:39:23.040 all over
00:39:24.000 listen to
00:39:25.220 what the
00:39:25.540 media
00:39:25.900 is saying
00:39:26.800 i
00:39:27.720 question
00:39:29.740 his
00:39:31.560 ability
00:39:33.080 to
00:39:33.760 his fitness
00:39:35.120 to be
00:39:35.440 in this
00:39:35.720 office
00:39:36.160 is he
00:39:37.520 suffering
00:39:37.980 from some
00:39:38.720 kind of
00:39:39.140 illness
00:39:39.560 is he
00:39:41.120 fit for
00:39:41.660 office
00:39:42.160 do you
00:39:42.880 think
00:39:43.060 this
00:39:43.240 raises
00:39:43.520 questions
00:39:44.020 about
00:39:44.360 fitness
00:39:44.780 for
00:39:45.080 office
00:39:45.420 you
00:39:45.640 wouldn't
00:39:45.940 be
00:39:46.140 the
00:39:46.580 first
00:39:46.840 person
00:39:47.200 in the
00:39:47.480 coverage
00:39:47.760 of
00:39:47.960 this
00:39:48.120 story
00:39:48.420 to
00:39:48.600 mention
00:39:48.860 that
00:39:49.140 egregious
00:39:49.900 reckless
00:39:50.580 behavior
00:39:51.100 in the
00:39:51.400 oval
00:39:51.620 office
00:39:51.960 and it
00:39:52.500 goes to
00:39:52.900 the
00:39:53.080 fitness
00:39:53.420 of the
00:39:54.100 person
00:39:54.380 who's
00:39:54.580 in the
00:39:54.800 oval
00:39:55.000 office
00:39:55.100 and how
00:39:55.520 this
00:39:55.680 is
00:39:55.800 an
00:39:55.980 illustration
00:39:56.460 of
00:39:56.760 his
00:39:56.960 lack
00:39:57.600 of
00:39:57.780 fitness
00:39:58.020 for
00:39:58.280 office
00:39:58.600 Donald
00:39:59.160 Trump
00:39:59.560 is
00:39:59.760 a
00:39:59.900 president
00:40:00.240 with
00:40:00.580 whom
00:40:00.860 there
00:40:01.060 is
00:40:01.220 grave
00:40:01.660 question
00:40:02.200 about
00:40:02.820 his
00:40:03.080 fitness
00:40:03.580 and
00:40:03.880 ability
00:40:04.300 to
00:40:04.480 conduct
00:40:05.000 the
00:40:12.160 of
00:40:12.480 diagnosing
00:40:13.400 politicians
00:40:14.160 that
00:40:14.720 you've
00:40:15.380 never
00:40:15.620 examined
00:40:16.080 you
00:40:16.740 don't
00:40:17.000 personally
00:40:17.620 know
00:40:18.220 and
00:40:21.000 quite
00:40:21.240 honestly
00:40:21.580 you
00:40:21.900 and
00:40:22.040 the
00:40:22.180 media
00:40:22.460 do
00:40:22.880 not
00:40:23.180 even
00:40:23.460 have
00:40:23.720 a
00:40:23.980 license
00:40:24.340 to
00:40:24.700 practice
00:40:25.280 medicine
00:40:25.940 instead
00:40:26.840 of
00:40:27.120 doing
00:40:27.400 that
00:40:27.720 why
00:40:27.940 don't
00:40:28.120 you
00:40:28.240 let
00:40:28.460 the
00:40:28.620 American
00:40:29.080 people
00:40:29.560 and
00:40:29.840 the
00:40:30.040 voters
00:40:30.440 think
00:40:31.540 about
00:40:32.300 what
00:40:32.780 they
00:40:33.220 think
00:40:34.700 about
00:40:34.880 this
00:40:35.040 man
00:40:35.260 let
00:40:35.480 them
00:40:35.700 decide
00:40:36.320 what
00:40:36.580 they
00:40:36.700 think
00:40:36.920 about
00:40:37.100 this
00:40:37.300 man
00:40:37.580 now
00:40:38.720 if
00:40:39.500 you
00:40:39.940 around
00:40:41.060 him
00:40:41.460 who
00:40:41.980 are
00:40:42.140 working
00:40:42.600 for
00:40:43.020 him
00:40:43.320 there
00:40:44.300 is
00:40:44.760 a
00:40:44.980 clause
00:40:45.360 in
00:40:45.560 the
00:40:45.700 constitution
00:40:46.340 if
00:40:47.120 he
00:40:47.540 is
00:40:47.920 indeed
00:40:48.660 unfit
00:40:49.760 well
00:40:50.780 then
00:40:51.020 we
00:40:51.480 have
00:40:51.940 a
00:40:52.160 responsibility
00:40:52.960 not
00:40:53.880 us
00:40:54.120 that
00:40:54.280 don't
00:40:54.500 know
00:40:54.700 him
00:40:54.900 but
00:40:55.300 those
00:40:55.700 around
00:40:56.360 him
00:40:56.780 those
00:40:57.600 who
00:40:57.820 are
00:40:58.000 working
00:40:58.400 around
00:40:58.880 him
00:40:59.140 see
00:40:59.500 him
00:40:59.720 every
00:40:59.960 day
00:41:00.220 to
00:41:00.700 make
00:41:01.160 the
00:41:01.520 case
00:41:02.040 here's
00:41:04.060 what
00:41:04.160 happens
00:41:04.620 congress
00:41:05.720 has to
00:41:06.420 come
00:41:06.600 together
00:41:07.000 people
00:41:07.920 can
00:41:08.220 levy
00:41:08.800 a
00:41:08.960 charge
00:41:09.240 and
00:41:09.680 they
00:41:09.820 say
00:41:10.040 and
00:41:10.160 I
00:41:10.280 think
00:41:10.440 it's
00:41:10.640 the
00:41:10.800 is
00:41:10.940 the
00:41:11.460 fifth
00:41:11.720 amendment
00:41:12.040 do
00:41:12.200 you
00:41:12.280 know
00:41:12.480 Pat
00:41:12.820 it's
00:41:13.280 one
00:41:13.420 of
00:41:13.520 the
00:41:13.620 amendments
00:41:13.960 that
00:41:14.500 says
00:41:15.000 hey
00:41:15.500 we
00:41:16.000 think
00:41:16.360 that
00:41:16.600 this
00:41:17.340 guy
00:41:17.600 is
00:41:17.800 unfit
00:41:18.340 he
00:41:19.320 is
00:41:19.540 then
00:41:19.820 immediately
00:41:20.680 removed
00:41:21.400 from
00:41:21.760 office
00:41:22.300 and
00:41:22.640 the
00:41:22.780 vice
00:41:23.040 president
00:41:23.480 takes
00:41:24.100 his
00:41:24.360 position
00:41:24.840 and
00:41:25.780 then
00:41:25.920 there's
00:41:26.180 a
00:41:26.320 certain
00:41:26.640 period
00:41:27.340 it's
00:41:27.520 been
00:41:27.640 a while
00:41:27.880 since
00:41:28.080 I've
00:41:28.260 read
00:41:28.340 this
00:41:28.500 there's
00:41:28.660 a
00:41:28.800 certain
00:41:29.040 period
00:41:29.440 of
00:41:29.620 time
00:41:30.020 that
00:41:30.920 they
00:41:31.220 have
00:41:31.520 to
00:41:31.680 make
00:41:31.940 their
00:41:32.160 case
00:41:32.600 and
00:41:32.920 the
00:41:33.100 president
00:41:33.500 can
00:41:33.940 respond
00:41:34.460 and
00:41:34.660 make
00:41:34.860 his
00:41:35.140 case
00:41:35.540 and
00:41:36.340 if
00:41:36.940 he
00:41:37.140 wasn't
00:41:37.760 sick
00:41:38.600 if
00:41:38.780 he's
00:41:39.040 fine
00:41:39.540 he
00:41:40.380 goes
00:41:40.660 back
00:41:41.160 into
00:41:41.520 the
00:41:41.700 office
00:41:42.160 that's
00:41:44.520 in the
00:41:44.720 constitution
00:41:45.260 that's
00:41:47.200 how it
00:41:47.460 works
00:41:47.860 what are
00:41:49.860 you doing
00:41:50.280 if you
00:41:52.020 have a
00:41:52.380 case
00:41:52.760 make it
00:41:54.300 make
00:41:55.540 the
00:41:55.860 legal
00:41:56.400 case
00:41:57.000 but you
00:41:58.540 can't
00:41:58.980 that's
00:41:59.740 not
00:42:00.300 what
00:42:00.740 they're
00:42:00.940 doing
00:42:01.300 they're
00:42:03.300 they're
00:42:04.440 just
00:42:04.640 trying
00:42:05.000 to
00:42:05.440 smear
00:42:06.300 him
00:42:06.700 every
00:42:07.780 way
00:42:08.640 they
00:42:09.160 can
00:42:09.640 last
00:42:10.980 night
00:42:11.480 Ben
00:42:15.500 Shapiro
00:42:16.020 was on
00:42:16.880 CNN
00:42:17.200 and I
00:42:18.620 saw a
00:42:19.020 story
00:42:19.220 and I
00:42:19.420 think
00:42:19.540 this was
00:42:19.820 on
00:42:19.980 Business
00:42:20.280 Insider
00:42:21.260 I love
00:42:21.820 this
00:42:22.040 former
00:42:22.700 Breitbart
00:42:23.380 editor
00:42:23.940 challenges
00:42:25.100 left leaning
00:42:26.020 media over
00:42:26.860 its coverage
00:42:27.380 of Trump
00:42:27.760 that's
00:42:28.060 the
00:42:28.160 headline
00:42:28.480 now can
00:42:29.960 we ask
00:42:30.520 why would
00:42:31.020 you put
00:42:31.340 former
00:42:31.940 Breitbart
00:42:32.420 editor
00:42:32.880 why would
00:42:34.840 you put
00:42:35.040 that
00:42:35.300 if you're
00:42:37.960 writing for
00:42:38.600 the left
00:42:39.020 why do you
00:42:39.520 put that
00:42:39.800 in there
00:42:40.140 to tie
00:42:40.600 him into
00:42:40.860 Trump
00:42:41.180 to tie
00:42:42.060 him into
00:42:42.320 Trump
00:42:42.600 former
00:42:43.020 Breitbart
00:42:43.400 why did
00:42:44.060 he leave
00:42:44.660 Breitbart
00:42:45.500 because he
00:42:46.680 was he
00:42:47.200 was not
00:42:48.340 a fan of
00:42:48.860 what Breitbart
00:42:49.420 was doing
00:42:50.140 with Trump
00:42:50.700 he he
00:42:51.440 wasn't he
00:42:52.380 wasn't in
00:42:52.820 bed with
00:42:53.120 Breitbart
00:42:53.900 was he
00:42:54.360 wasn't on
00:42:54.980 the Trump
00:42:55.460 train he
00:42:56.140 wasn't on
00:42:56.720 the Bannon
00:42:57.200 train
00:42:57.620 it still
00:42:58.940 isn't in
00:42:59.420 fact found
00:43:00.140 it very
00:43:00.640 very dangerous
00:43:01.440 he is an
00:43:02.080 outspoken
00:43:03.460 person on
00:43:05.220 the other
00:43:05.760 side
00:43:06.360 okay but
00:43:08.880 he's also
00:43:09.480 a reasonable
00:43:10.280 guy he's
00:43:11.500 also trying
00:43:12.160 to speak
00:43:12.800 reason to
00:43:13.980 the American
00:43:14.480 people so
00:43:15.720 here's what
00:43:16.120 he said
00:43:16.580 former
00:43:20.000 Breitbart
00:43:20.400 editor Ben
00:43:21.100 Shapiro
00:43:21.500 asserted in
00:43:22.140 a CNN
00:43:22.600 interview
00:43:23.300 Wednesday
00:43:23.700 night
00:43:24.040 one thing
00:43:24.980 Trump has
00:43:25.560 benefited
00:43:26.060 from is
00:43:27.100 that the
00:43:27.400 left is
00:43:27.860 constantly
00:43:28.400 reacting to
00:43:29.180 everything he
00:43:29.860 says with
00:43:30.440 an enormous
00:43:31.320 level of
00:43:32.080 passion and
00:43:33.220 that's
00:43:33.480 actually
00:43:33.980 negative
00:43:34.800 Shapiro was
00:43:36.800 speaking about
00:43:37.260 the reaction
00:43:37.720 within left
00:43:38.320 leaning media
00:43:39.720 circles that
00:43:40.260 followed Trump's
00:43:40.820 free willing
00:43:41.320 rally in
00:43:42.020 Phoenix Arizona
00:43:42.780 a day earlier
00:43:43.460 where Trump
00:43:43.960 relitigated his
00:43:45.660 remarks about
00:43:46.300 deadly white
00:43:47.120 national protests
00:43:48.080 that erupted
00:43:48.600 in Charlottesville
00:43:49.580 Virginia earlier
00:43:50.300 this month
00:43:50.860 while conservative
00:43:51.940 media largely
00:43:52.800 applauded Trump's
00:43:53.860 remarks on
00:43:54.400 Tuesday night
00:43:54.900 some commentators
00:43:55.820 on the left
00:43:56.380 leaning media
00:43:56.900 outlets called
00:43:57.560 the president's
00:43:58.100 behavior unhinged
00:43:59.140 a disaster
00:43:59.920 downright scary
00:44:01.180 disturbing
00:44:01.780 Trump began
00:44:03.180 his remarks
00:44:03.760 okay so I'm
00:44:04.900 I've got one
00:44:06.080 paragraph of
00:44:07.220 of what Ben
00:44:09.280 Shapiro said
00:44:10.260 and one two
00:44:10.940 three four
00:44:11.620 five six
00:44:13.160 paragraphs in
00:44:14.840 I only have
00:44:15.400 one paragraph
00:44:16.200 that has
00:44:16.700 anything to do
00:44:17.460 with the
00:44:17.840 subject in
00:44:18.340 the headline
00:44:18.760 Shapiro argued
00:44:20.240 that media
00:44:21.040 left liberal
00:44:22.320 media tends
00:44:23.360 to take an
00:44:23.960 emotional stance
00:44:24.760 on Trump
00:44:25.220 when the
00:44:25.480 president goes
00:44:26.000 off the
00:44:26.360 rails
00:44:26.700 instead of
00:44:27.940 doing objective
00:44:28.740 analysis of
00:44:29.800 where he was
00:44:30.600 not telling
00:44:31.260 the truth
00:44:31.860 they jump
00:44:32.860 to extraordinary
00:44:33.740 critiques of
00:44:34.680 his mental
00:44:35.240 health and
00:44:36.080 talking about
00:44:36.620 how crazy
00:44:37.420 and morally
00:44:38.620 bereft he
00:44:39.440 is all
00:44:40.800 that does
00:44:41.720 is play
00:44:42.420 into his
00:44:43.160 crowd
00:44:43.620 the crowd
00:44:44.600 thinks that
00:44:45.280 the media
00:44:45.760 is out
00:44:46.480 to get
00:44:46.980 him
00:44:47.240 his crowd
00:44:48.200 thinks the
00:44:48.740 media has
00:44:49.400 a particular
00:44:50.000 emotional
00:44:50.920 animus toward
00:44:52.480 him personally
00:44:53.700 and they do
00:44:55.080 and they do
00:44:55.880 and they do
00:44:57.300 so how are
00:45:00.580 you going
00:45:01.220 to
00:45:01.740 how are
00:45:03.680 you going
00:45:04.000 to solve
00:45:05.240 any problem
00:45:05.920 when
00:45:07.520 Don Lemon
00:45:09.560 said he
00:45:10.640 defended his
00:45:11.400 choice to
00:45:12.420 take a
00:45:12.720 position on
00:45:13.260 his fire
00:45:13.740 remarks but
00:45:15.000 insisted having
00:45:15.640 a point of
00:45:16.080 view is not
00:45:16.540 the same as
00:45:16.960 being biased
00:45:17.740 Shapiro responded
00:45:19.420 to that assertion
00:45:20.320 whether it's
00:45:21.000 true or not
00:45:21.980 that's the way
00:45:23.160 a lot of his
00:45:23.860 followers are
00:45:24.460 going to take
00:45:24.920 it and that
00:45:25.460 is true it
00:45:26.840 doesn't matter
00:45:28.000 anymore there
00:45:31.080 is no nuance
00:45:32.340 anymore there's
00:45:34.240 no nuance if
00:45:35.860 you're on CNN
00:45:36.700 you're a bad
00:45:37.580 guy if you're
00:45:39.240 on Fox you're a
00:45:41.000 bad guy to the
00:45:41.920 other half that's
00:45:43.980 it you can't you
00:45:45.980 can't have reasoned
00:45:48.080 responses to
00:45:49.420 things because
00:45:50.160 reason has gone
00:45:51.540 out of fashion
00:45:52.320 do I think
00:45:54.900 that Donald
00:45:55.360 Trump does
00:45:57.180 he scare me
00:45:57.760 at times scares
00:45:58.780 the living hell
00:45:59.860 out of me and
00:46:01.400 he should scare
00:46:02.000 the living hell
00:46:02.600 out of anybody
00:46:03.280 who is still
00:46:04.140 has a rational
00:46:05.700 bean in their
00:46:07.420 head but so
00:46:10.160 does Antifa
00:46:10.700 so does so
00:46:13.380 does so so
00:46:14.000 do many of the
00:46:14.800 people in the
00:46:15.520 media so does
00:46:17.300 Bill Maher who
00:46:18.360 says boy I
00:46:20.140 hope we have a
00:46:20.960 stock market crash
00:46:22.120 he just said
00:46:22.800 that last week
00:46:23.600 who would hope
00:46:25.620 for that
00:46:26.220 who would hope
00:46:29.200 for that
00:46:29.880 that means
00:46:30.860 millions of
00:46:31.860 people lose
00:46:32.660 their retirement
00:46:33.520 money
00:46:34.000 that means
00:46:36.460 that our
00:46:37.480 our pensions
00:46:39.240 anybody who
00:46:40.120 worked for a
00:46:40.680 pension you
00:46:41.500 have a massive
00:46:42.360 stock market
00:46:43.080 crash your
00:46:43.600 pension is over
00:46:44.660 how much was
00:46:46.740 Powerball worth
00:46:47.800 last night
00:46:48.360 final Jeffy
00:46:49.480 750 million
00:46:52.620 750 million
00:46:54.000 may I make a
00:46:55.160 suggestion take
00:46:56.360 the frickin cash
00:46:57.660 take the lump
00:47:00.000 payment
00:47:00.920 how could we
00:47:06.120 how could we
00:47:09.000 have people who
00:47:10.320 are rooting for
00:47:11.440 the downfall of
00:47:12.800 the economy
00:47:13.620 that they are
00:47:16.160 the sane ones
00:47:17.100 there's a story
00:47:18.540 today on the
00:47:21.320 blaze about a
00:47:23.100 woman in Louisville
00:47:24.020 she's with Black
00:47:24.800 Lives Matter
00:47:25.360 and she's saying
00:47:28.020 you know basically
00:47:31.100 all you white
00:47:31.840 people need to
00:47:33.100 leave your
00:47:33.900 houses to black
00:47:36.540 or brown people
00:47:37.440 when you die
00:47:38.120 what what are you
00:47:42.120 talking about
00:47:42.940 what no I
00:47:47.160 don't think so
00:47:47.960 I'll leave my
00:47:48.960 house to I
00:47:49.740 whoever I want
00:47:50.820 to leave my
00:47:51.680 house to if I
00:47:52.780 even have a
00:47:53.640 house to leave
00:47:54.760 to somebody
00:47:55.460 she was saying
00:47:59.940 all kinds of
00:48:00.740 horrible racist
00:48:01.500 things and and
00:48:02.800 and calling white
00:48:03.880 people all kinds
00:48:04.980 of names and
00:48:06.300 that if you know
00:48:07.540 you're in work and
00:48:08.540 you hear anybody
00:48:09.440 say anything about
00:48:10.700 this rally that
00:48:12.160 that you know
00:48:13.340 might offend you
00:48:14.380 you take their
00:48:15.340 picture you put
00:48:16.540 them out on
00:48:17.980 Facebook and
00:48:19.480 Twitter and you
00:48:20.600 get them fired
00:48:21.480 what is that
00:48:22.700 there's no
00:48:23.600 difference between
00:48:24.320 the Nazis and
00:48:25.820 that
00:48:26.300 the black
00:48:29.260 Black Lives
00:48:30.300 Matter who
00:48:31.440 they're not about
00:48:32.620 black lives
00:48:33.260 they're about the
00:48:34.060 destruction of
00:48:35.080 America
00:48:35.520 don't take my
00:48:36.920 word for it
00:48:37.560 read their own
00:48:39.420 manifesto
00:48:40.420 read their
00:48:41.580 own website
00:48:43.340 now does
00:48:45.400 that mean that
00:48:45.940 everybody in
00:48:46.440 Black Lives
00:48:46.960 Matter is that
00:48:47.860 way no
00:48:48.540 no it just
00:48:51.240 means the
00:48:51.920 leadership is
00:48:52.820 now I can say
00:48:54.020 that but the
00:48:56.260 media won't even
00:48:56.980 say anything bad
00:48:58.420 about Black Lives
00:48:59.220 Matter they
00:49:00.440 won't they won't
00:49:01.060 even mention the
00:49:02.040 manifesto and if
00:49:03.020 they do mention
00:49:03.820 the manifesto they
00:49:04.940 say well those are
00:49:05.480 just the crazy
00:49:05.960 people and most
00:49:06.840 people don't read
00:49:07.580 that well okay
00:49:09.300 okay I wish I
00:49:12.240 could make the
00:49:12.920 same point about
00:49:13.940 the Nazis but the
00:49:15.060 Nazis are so well
00:49:16.200 known if you're
00:49:17.320 signing up to stand
00:49:18.260 around a bunch of
00:49:18.900 Nazis I think you
00:49:19.780 know what you're
00:49:20.260 doing but at some
00:49:22.760 point people didn't
00:49:23.820 know what the Nazis
00:49:24.740 stood for and look
00:49:25.640 what they turned
00:49:26.220 into we have to
00:49:33.460 have a we we
00:49:35.460 have to fix
00:49:36.340 reason firmly in
00:49:37.580 her seat again
00:49:38.760 we have to know
00:49:40.960 history know
00:49:42.360 why know what
00:49:45.280 the Goldwater
00:49:46.700 rule is know
00:49:50.160 how this was used
00:49:51.160 before to destroy
00:49:53.380 people if you
00:49:56.920 continue to
00:49:58.140 oppress or make
00:50:00.820 people feel
00:50:01.780 oppressed there
00:50:03.120 is no justice in
00:50:04.800 reversing the
00:50:05.860 oppression there
00:50:07.840 is justice in
00:50:08.720 stopping oppression
00:50:10.260 there is no
00:50:12.340 justice in forcing
00:50:14.640 everyone to
00:50:16.340 accept embrace or
00:50:18.540 celebrate your
00:50:19.480 lifestyle just
00:50:21.660 because somebody
00:50:22.900 else tried to
00:50:23.900 force you to
00:50:25.420 accept embrace
00:50:27.360 and celebrate
00:50:28.120 their lifestyle
00:50:29.080 they were wrong
00:50:30.360 when they did it
00:50:31.140 you're wrong when
00:50:32.020 you're doing it
00:50:33.120 there are some
00:50:41.460 really brave
00:50:44.040 people standing
00:50:48.020 up and sometimes
00:50:49.960 you can't tell the
00:50:50.860 difference between
00:50:52.160 the brave people
00:50:53.140 and the crazy
00:50:54.380 people until you
00:50:56.420 hear them talk
00:50:57.220 enough but
00:50:59.500 because we live
00:51:00.640 in a culture that
00:51:01.500 spends no more
00:51:02.400 than 10 seconds
00:51:03.620 per story you
00:51:06.220 read a story on
00:51:07.460 Facebook you
00:51:09.180 most likely the
00:51:10.880 average person is
00:51:12.340 six to ten seconds
00:51:14.160 on a story
00:51:15.560 nobody's reading
00:51:16.620 I guess I read
00:51:17.600 you six paragraphs
00:51:18.840 before it said
00:51:19.640 something true
00:51:20.420 about what Ben
00:51:22.460 Shapiro said
00:51:23.140 you're not making
00:51:23.800 it down six
00:51:24.560 paragraphs
00:51:25.120 it's not happening
00:51:26.480 you don't know
00:51:30.500 who the good guys
00:51:31.060 and the bad guys
00:51:31.580 are because
00:51:32.080 nobody's listening
00:51:32.860 to them long
00:51:33.540 enough
00:51:33.840 somebody's going
00:51:34.860 to come along
00:51:35.320 and say some
00:51:35.900 really some
00:51:36.880 things that maybe
00:51:37.500 you really agree
00:51:38.260 with
00:51:38.600 but can you
00:51:41.820 can you listen
00:51:43.000 to them for
00:51:43.620 longer than 10
00:51:44.600 seconds to make
00:51:46.040 sure that
00:51:47.200 they're also
00:51:47.700 not crazy
00:51:48.540 that they're
00:51:50.220 also not
00:51:51.100 saying things
00:51:52.020 that you
00:51:52.520 strongly disagree
00:51:53.560 with
00:51:53.940 we now have
00:51:59.960 the national
00:52:00.620 anthem being
00:52:02.060 protest and
00:52:02.860 quite honestly
00:52:03.420 I'm not married
00:52:04.460 to the national
00:52:05.020 anthem
00:52:05.380 I'm not
00:52:06.740 the national
00:52:07.540 anthem only came
00:52:08.600 into play under
00:52:09.500 FDR
00:52:09.900 we didn't have
00:52:11.780 a national anthem
00:52:12.580 until FDR
00:52:13.580 think of that
00:52:15.400 we didn't have
00:52:16.760 a national anthem
00:52:18.100 until the 1940s
00:52:20.020 this isn't something
00:52:21.300 that came from
00:52:22.240 our founders
00:52:23.400 we didn't have
00:52:26.940 a standardized flag
00:52:28.080 until Woodrow
00:52:28.800 Wilson
00:52:29.140 why did they do
00:52:31.040 that why do we
00:52:31.780 have a national
00:52:32.500 anthem and why
00:52:33.560 do we have a
00:52:34.200 standardized flag
00:52:35.080 it meant nothing
00:52:36.660 to our founders
00:52:37.360 it meant nothing
00:52:38.060 to our country
00:52:38.800 for the longest
00:52:39.500 period of time
00:52:40.480 why all of a
00:52:41.940 sudden are we
00:52:42.920 willing to fight
00:52:43.680 and die over
00:52:44.660 that
00:52:45.260 because of
00:52:47.400 heritage
00:52:48.080 but heritage
00:52:50.420 is a really
00:52:51.900 frightening thing
00:52:53.300 because it's
00:52:55.300 being misused
00:52:56.220 and twisted
00:52:56.920 and I want to
00:52:58.000 get into that
00:52:58.720 if we can
00:52:59.280 today but I
00:53:00.160 also want to
00:53:00.760 tell you about
00:53:02.620 the current
00:53:03.500 struggle of what
00:53:04.380 is happening
00:53:05.080 now at football
00:53:06.780 games when the
00:53:07.780 national anthem
00:53:08.460 is played
00:53:09.580 take a knee
00:53:11.600 next
00:53:12.820 sponsor
00:53:15.080 this half hour
00:53:16.240 is simply safe
00:53:17.260 home security
00:53:17.840 extended their
00:53:18.500 biggest ever
00:53:19.320 summer sale
00:53:19.920 to September
00:53:20.560 3rd
00:53:21.560 burglary rates
00:53:22.560 spike during
00:53:23.520 the summer
00:53:23.960 but you don't
00:53:24.400 have to worry
00:53:24.880 about it
00:53:25.220 with simply
00:53:25.720 safe

00:54:08.460 program
00:54:09.040 so glad
00:54:10.920 you're here
00:54:11.420 not everybody
00:54:13.780 is excited
00:54:14.300 about the
00:54:14.780 latest wave
00:54:15.380 of national
00:54:15.860 anthem
00:54:16.160 protesters
00:54:16.760 one NFL
00:54:18.520 player's wife
00:54:19.740 the Detroit
00:54:22.840 Lions quarterback
00:54:23.860 Matthew Stafford
00:54:24.780 his wife Kelly
00:54:25.540 made her opinion
00:54:27.480 pretty loud and
00:54:28.480 clear in an
00:54:29.220 Instagram post
00:54:30.160 this week
00:54:31.500 I don't know
00:54:32.340 if you saw
00:54:32.720 that
00:54:33.040 yeah she said
00:54:35.940 she said
00:54:36.380 something like
00:54:36.800 the national
00:54:37.800 I don't have
00:54:38.200 it right in
00:54:38.580 front of me
00:54:38.860 but she said
00:54:39.360 the national
00:54:39.800 anthem isn't
00:54:40.380 the national
00:54:40.900 police anthem
00:54:41.780 I mean that's
00:54:43.500 so true
00:54:44.420 it's not about
00:54:46.040 the police
00:54:46.980 it's
00:54:47.720 it's about
00:54:49.320 it's about
00:54:50.040 pride in the
00:54:50.800 country
00:54:51.100 and you know
00:54:52.820 you mentioned
00:54:53.800 that
00:54:54.220 I'm not even
00:54:55.140 sure it's about
00:54:55.560 pride in the
00:54:55.960 country
00:54:56.280 I think it
00:54:57.180 is
00:54:57.460 I mean the
00:54:58.800 way it was
00:54:59.220 written from
00:54:59.920 Francis Scott
00:55:00.660 Key and the
00:55:01.260 way it came
00:55:01.720 about
00:55:02.120 I mean that's
00:55:02.960 definitely about
00:55:03.520 love and
00:55:04.460 pride in the
00:55:05.080 country
00:55:05.420 let's go
00:55:07.600 through that
00:55:08.440 in a minute
00:55:09.220 because I'd
00:55:09.660 like to go
00:55:10.020 there here's
00:55:10.520 what she
00:55:10.800 actually wrote
00:55:11.240 if you think
00:55:12.060 the country
00:55:12.420 can be better
00:55:13.100 stand for
00:55:13.840 the ideal
00:55:14.540 if you think
00:55:15.540 the answer
00:55:15.940 is people
00:55:16.700 showing unity
00:55:17.400 then stand
00:55:18.120 with them
00:55:18.640 the anthem
00:55:19.620 is not the
00:55:20.080 national police
00:55:20.740 song the
00:55:21.260 anthem is not
00:55:21.780 the national
00:55:22.240 racist song
00:55:23.080 the anthem
00:55:23.780 is an exercise
00:55:24.600 on how this
00:55:25.220 country can
00:55:25.980 endure and
00:55:26.900 rise
00:55:27.580 how can we
00:55:28.960 how we can
00:55:29.840 agree on its
00:55:30.760 future potential
00:55:31.760 even while
00:55:32.920 struggling with
00:55:33.520 its present
00:55:34.080 that's
00:55:35.460 that's pretty
00:55:36.240 great
00:55:36.540 that's great
00:55:37.260 yeah
00:55:37.920 that's great
00:55:38.960 however
00:55:42.280 people were
00:55:44.920 not happy
00:55:45.340 with her
00:55:45.720 I know
00:55:46.440 yeah
00:55:47.320 I know
00:55:48.200 well you
00:55:51.260 can't have
00:55:51.580 that opinion
00:55:52.000 anymore
00:55:52.420 no
00:55:53.900 no
00:55:54.920 she
00:55:55.660 she had
00:55:57.460 to respond
00:55:58.140 a couple of
00:55:58.760 hours later
00:55:59.240 I meant no
00:55:59.720 disrespect with
00:56:00.480 my last post
00:56:01.260 if you know
00:56:02.260 me personally
00:56:02.860 you know I
00:56:04.060 love
00:56:04.520 mostly everyone
00:56:06.120 and I try to
00:56:06.680 be as open
00:56:07.220 as possible
00:56:07.880 look how they
00:56:09.080 send people
00:56:09.560 running for the
00:56:10.140 hills
00:56:10.340 they sure do
00:56:11.100 and every
00:56:11.960 it happens
00:56:12.900 every time
00:56:13.920 stop caving in
00:56:15.240 to this stuff
00:56:16.320 if people
00:56:17.000 you need to
00:56:17.540 toughen up a
00:56:18.000 little bit
00:56:18.240 and realize
00:56:18.720 Twitter is not
00:56:20.560 reality
00:56:21.080 okay
00:56:21.820 Twitter is
00:56:23.360 the
00:56:24.460 sedge pool
00:56:26.060 of the
00:56:26.580 of society
00:56:27.520 it's the
00:56:28.740 sewer of
00:56:29.640 society
00:56:30.240 that's what
00:56:30.840 it is
00:56:31.340 it's garbage
00:56:32.220 it is
00:56:33.200 it is
00:56:33.960 the
00:56:34.340 it's the
00:56:36.420 crack
00:56:37.080 that makes
00:56:37.840 you think
00:56:38.280 you can
00:56:38.620 fly
00:56:39.040 it's the
00:56:40.460 crack
00:56:40.880 that makes
00:56:41.520 you think
00:56:42.060 that you
00:56:42.600 are invincible
00:56:43.580 you're
00:56:44.420 you're
00:56:44.920 you're
00:56:45.920 you're
00:56:47.020 taking a
00:56:47.640 hit
00:56:47.980 off of
00:56:48.540 a drug
00:56:49.200 these
00:56:50.860 these
00:56:51.560 Facebook
00:56:52.200 and Twitter
00:56:53.240 that's nothing
00:56:53.840 more than a
00:56:54.480 drug
00:56:54.840 that is making
00:56:55.800 you feel
00:56:56.680 like you
00:56:57.820 are invincible
00:56:58.800 and
00:56:59.960 and you are
00:57:00.680 because you're
00:57:01.040 anonymous
00:57:01.360 and you can
00:57:01.780 say whatever
00:57:02.140 you want
00:57:02.800 yeah
00:57:03.000 and
00:57:03.440 nobody cares
00:57:04.480 it seems
00:57:05.040 unless
00:57:05.560 you disagree
00:57:07.240 with
00:57:08.000 the vast
00:57:09.080 majority
00:57:09.640 of people
00:57:10.540 that happen
00:57:11.740 to be
00:57:12.340 reading that
00:57:13.480 and sharing
00:57:14.940 that with
00:57:15.520 their friends
00:57:16.160 it's not
00:57:16.960 reality
00:57:17.640 and you need
00:57:19.060 to know what
00:57:19.660 you believe
00:57:20.360 and then just
00:57:22.280 let it go
00:57:23.660 just let it
00:57:24.900 go
00:57:25.300 so let's
00:57:38.700 take a minute
00:57:39.260 to know
00:57:39.860 what we're
00:57:40.380 protesting
00:57:41.020 shall we
00:57:42.980 you know
00:57:45.080 the star
00:57:45.360 spangled banner
00:57:45.960 is something
00:57:47.200 that is
00:57:47.760 always
00:57:48.200 performed
00:57:50.500 with
00:57:51.100 vim
00:57:52.340 and vigor
00:57:52.860 and
00:57:53.360 and
00:57:53.960 boast
00:57:55.400 and the
00:57:57.540 millennial
00:57:58.020 orchestra
00:57:58.560 and choir
00:57:59.280 I did a
00:58:01.440 project with
00:58:02.860 them
00:58:03.080 it's called
00:58:04.420 to be an
00:58:05.060 American
00:58:05.440 and it's a
00:58:06.820 collection of
00:58:07.920 American songs
00:58:08.840 and I
00:58:09.340 I told them
00:58:10.720 the story
00:58:11.600 of
00:58:13.340 of some of
00:58:15.940 these songs
00:58:16.320 like the
00:58:16.700 star
00:58:16.860 spangled
00:58:17.180 banner
00:58:17.440 and it's
00:58:18.080 it's
00:58:18.920 it's
00:58:19.620 not
00:58:20.320 a boastful
00:58:22.040 song
00:58:22.580 it is
00:58:23.440 a song
00:58:24.280 that
00:58:25.880 really
00:58:27.080 is
00:58:29.180 pensive
00:58:29.800 and
00:58:30.800 and calls
00:58:31.720 each
00:58:32.140 American
00:58:32.720 to ask
00:58:34.360 themselves
00:58:35.140 is this
00:58:37.880 going to
00:58:38.500 last
00:58:39.120 another
00:58:39.720 day
00:58:40.340 the
00:58:42.780 star
00:58:42.980 spangled
00:58:43.280 banner
00:58:43.620 was first
00:58:45.260 recognized
00:58:45.820 as
00:58:46.580 as
00:58:47.180 our
00:58:47.320 national
00:58:47.680 anthem
00:58:48.040 but not
00:58:48.720 officially
00:58:49.140 by Woodrow
00:58:49.760 Wilson
00:58:50.060 in
00:58:50.620 1916
00:58:51.540 Congress
00:58:52.960 didn't
00:58:54.000 make it
00:58:54.440 our
00:58:54.580 official
00:58:54.960 national
00:58:55.620 anthem
00:58:55.860 until
00:58:56.220 the
00:58:56.480 1930s
00:58:57.420 I
00:58:57.540 think
00:58:57.700 31
00:58:58.320 before
00:58:59.300 that
00:58:59.620 it was
00:58:59.880 hail
00:59:00.120 Columbia
00:59:00.620 which
00:59:00.920 that's
00:59:01.580 a bad
00:59:01.820 song
00:59:02.080 also
00:59:03.680 my
00:59:04.120 country
00:59:04.460 tis
00:59:04.780 of thee
00:59:05.120 which
00:59:05.540 is
00:59:06.860 god
00:59:07.120 save
00:59:07.380 the
00:59:07.540 queen
00:59:07.840 we
00:59:08.320 just
00:59:08.500 took
00:59:08.660 their
00:59:08.820 music
00:59:09.080 and
00:59:09.260 replaced
00:59:09.680 the
00:59:09.860 lyrics
00:59:10.180 so
00:59:14.600 this
00:59:14.860 is
00:59:15.040 something
00:59:15.380 that
00:59:15.680 is
00:59:15.980 relatively
00:59:16.800 new
00:59:17.300 it's
00:59:19.560 a hundred
00:59:20.340 years
00:59:20.880 old
00:59:21.300 as our
00:59:22.300 national
00:59:22.760 anthem
00:59:23.080 and not
00:59:23.520 even
00:59:23.700 officially
00:59:24.180 a hundred
00:59:26.080 years
00:59:26.460 ago
00:59:26.860 out of
00:59:28.420 228
00:59:29.680 a hundred
00:59:30.660 years
00:59:31.120 ago
00:59:31.460 we decided
00:59:32.640 yep
00:59:32.940 that's
00:59:33.340 us
00:59:33.660 but we
00:59:35.220 misinterpret
00:59:35.820 the whole
00:59:36.380 thing
00:59:36.900 if you
00:59:39.000 really
00:59:39.280 actually
00:59:39.820 listen
00:59:40.420 you hear
00:59:41.480 a different
00:59:42.280 story
00:59:43.040 entirely
00:59:43.900 you have
00:59:46.860 to understand
00:59:47.300 that this
00:59:47.680 was
00:59:47.980 this is
00:59:48.960 the war
00:59:49.580 of 1812
00:59:50.320 and
00:59:50.980 Washington
00:59:51.420 is on
00:59:51.880 fire
00:59:52.160 and
00:59:53.640 Francis
00:59:55.600 Scott Key
00:59:56.240 goes out
00:59:56.860 and he
00:59:57.320 is
00:59:57.620 he's on
00:59:58.200 a mission
00:59:58.520 for
00:59:58.840 President
00:59:59.260 James
00:59:59.620 Madison
01:00:00.000 and he
01:00:01.400 goes out
01:00:01.880 to a
01:00:02.240 ship
01:00:02.500 where they
01:00:02.860 are holding
01:00:03.540 a couple
01:00:04.120 of prisoners
01:00:04.740 they're
01:00:05.020 American
01:00:05.400 prisoners
01:00:05.880 the British
01:00:06.880 are holding
01:00:07.320 them on
01:00:07.600 a ship
01:00:07.900 one of
01:00:08.200 them is
01:00:08.420 a famous
01:00:08.820 doctor
01:00:09.220 at the
01:00:09.520 time
01:00:09.820 who was
01:00:10.460 accused
01:00:10.820 of getting
01:00:11.360 a bunch
01:00:11.880 of
01:00:12.140 British
01:00:12.880 rounded
01:00:14.360 up
01:00:14.660 and
01:00:16.300 arrested
01:00:16.680 and so
01:00:17.680 Francis
01:00:18.520 Scott Key
01:00:19.120 on an
01:00:20.120 official
01:00:20.520 under a
01:00:21.620 flag of
01:00:22.060 truce
01:00:22.420 goes on
01:00:23.780 board
01:00:24.140 this
01:00:24.920 British
01:00:25.240 ship
01:00:25.580 and says
01:00:26.400 hey we
01:00:26.800 want to
01:00:27.440 exchange
01:00:28.280 prisoners
01:00:28.880 well during
01:00:30.200 dinner
01:00:30.640 they start
01:00:31.460 talking about
01:00:32.120 an attack
01:00:32.860 that they're
01:00:33.420 going to
01:00:33.640 do
01:00:33.860 and
01:00:35.460 this
01:00:36.380 attack
01:00:37.060 that they're
01:00:37.880 now
01:00:38.300 planning
01:00:39.900 Francis
01:00:41.060 Scott Key
01:00:41.680 and his
01:00:42.200 partner
01:00:42.540 here
01:00:43.060 and the
01:00:44.820 captain
01:00:45.340 of the
01:00:45.560 ship
01:00:45.740 realizes
01:00:46.160 I can't
01:00:47.000 let you
01:00:47.300 guys go
01:00:48.000 because now
01:00:49.640 you're going
01:00:50.180 to
01:00:50.600 now you're
01:00:52.240 going to
01:00:53.080 tell your
01:00:54.840 side
01:00:55.320 you're going
01:00:55.960 to tell
01:00:56.280 the Americans
01:00:56.920 so you
01:00:58.020 have to
01:00:58.560 stay
01:00:59.140 on the
01:01:00.320 ship
01:01:00.600 until this
01:01:01.360 battle
01:01:01.800 is over
01:01:02.460 so
01:01:05.440 in a
01:01:08.480 story that
01:01:08.980 seems to
01:01:09.480 be more
01:01:10.100 and more
01:01:10.380 impossible
01:01:10.780 for me
01:01:11.180 to
01:01:11.320 tell
01:01:11.540 they're
01:01:15.780 in the
01:01:16.160 ship
01:01:16.440 and they're
01:01:18.020 watching
01:01:18.500 the battle
01:01:19.460 over Fort
01:01:20.620 McHenry
01:01:21.120 and they
01:01:23.860 are
01:01:24.180 they're
01:01:25.360 seeing
01:01:25.840 the
01:01:26.100 rockets
01:01:26.480 and they're
01:01:26.860 seeing
01:01:27.380 a small
01:01:28.520 I'm trying
01:01:29.480 to remember
01:01:29.740 what it's
01:01:30.020 called
01:01:30.260 is it
01:01:30.500 called
01:01:30.820 a battle
01:01:31.360 banner
01:01:32.300 they're
01:01:33.380 seeing a
01:01:33.820 small
01:01:34.200 flag
01:01:34.720 over the
01:01:35.220 fort
01:01:35.540 and it's
01:01:36.740 the
01:01:36.920 battle
01:01:37.800 flag
01:01:38.340 it's
01:01:38.560 not the
01:01:38.840 big
01:01:39.000 one
01:01:39.240 it's
01:01:39.680 a
01:01:39.840 small
01:01:40.140 one
01:01:40.500 and
01:01:42.000 they're
01:01:43.040 watching
01:01:43.440 this
01:01:43.900 through
01:01:44.500 the
01:01:44.680 night
01:01:45.020 now the
01:01:46.140 next
01:01:46.480 the next
01:01:47.260 morning
01:01:47.620 they don't
01:01:48.100 know if
01:01:48.500 there's
01:01:48.700 going to
01:01:48.880 be a
01:01:49.120 country
01:01:49.400 left
01:01:49.820 so as
01:01:53.360 they're
01:01:53.680 watching
01:01:54.280 this
01:01:54.840 they are
01:01:55.700 peering
01:01:56.260 through
01:01:56.960 the slats
01:01:57.880 of the
01:01:58.360 ship
01:01:58.720 and the
01:01:59.260 portholes
01:02:00.200 they're
01:02:00.560 hearing
01:02:01.060 the battle
01:02:01.680 rage
01:02:02.100 on
01:02:02.440 and they
01:02:04.220 are
01:02:04.400 staying
01:02:05.000 up
01:02:05.420 and trying
01:02:06.680 to stay
01:02:07.120 awake
01:02:07.460 and they're
01:02:07.920 all
01:02:08.200 they're
01:02:08.400 doing
01:02:08.720 is
01:02:09.000 watching
01:02:09.600 that
01:02:10.260 little
01:02:10.640 teeny
01:02:11.000 banner
01:02:11.480 oh say
01:02:15.740 can you
01:02:16.100 see by
01:02:16.540 the dawn's
01:02:17.120 early light
01:02:17.820 what so
01:02:19.000 proudly
01:02:19.700 we hailed
01:02:20.840 at the
01:02:22.140 twilight's
01:02:22.700 last gleaming
01:02:23.440 whose broad
01:02:25.280 stripes and bright
01:02:26.200 stars to the
01:02:27.000 perilous fight
01:02:27.880 over the
01:02:29.440 ramparts we
01:02:30.200 watched
01:02:30.700 were so
01:02:31.840 gallantly
01:02:32.360 streaming
01:02:32.880 and the
01:02:34.500 rocket's
01:02:35.140 red glare
01:02:35.660 and the
01:02:36.000 bombs
01:02:36.360 bursting
01:02:36.840 in air
01:02:37.360 gave proof
01:02:40.060 through the
01:02:40.440 night that
01:02:40.900 our flag
01:02:41.380 was still
01:02:41.840 there
01:02:42.100 they were
01:02:43.080 only
01:02:43.660 they only
01:02:44.660 knew that
01:02:45.500 they were
01:02:45.980 still a
01:02:46.880 country
01:02:47.700 that that
01:02:48.720 Fort McHenry
01:02:49.600 was still
01:02:50.300 there and
01:02:51.060 still operating
01:02:52.200 and the
01:02:52.540 fight was
01:02:52.980 still going
01:02:53.460 on when
01:02:54.440 there was
01:02:54.760 an explosion
01:02:55.560 because there
01:02:56.060 was nothing
01:02:56.580 lighting up
01:02:57.420 that flag
01:02:58.020 it was just
01:02:58.580 the rocket's
01:02:59.260 red glare
01:02:59.720 it was just
01:03:00.120 the explosions
01:03:01.200 and the
01:03:01.680 fire
01:03:02.080 that allowed
01:03:03.160 them to
01:03:03.560 see that
01:03:03.940 that little
01:03:04.580 teeny
01:03:05.140 flag was
01:03:06.480 still flying
01:03:07.320 on the
01:03:09.880 shore dimly
01:03:10.660 seen through
01:03:11.320 the mists
01:03:11.820 of the
01:03:12.200 deep
01:03:12.520 where the
01:03:12.960 foe's
01:03:13.380 haughty
01:03:13.920 hosts
01:03:14.660 in dread
01:03:15.580 silence
01:03:16.260 reposes
01:03:17.040 what is
01:03:19.320 that
01:03:19.760 which the
01:03:20.400 breeze
01:03:20.820 or the
01:03:21.340 towering
01:03:21.940 steep
01:03:22.440 as it
01:03:22.820 fitfully
01:03:23.400 blows
01:03:23.940 half conceals
01:03:25.080 half
01:03:25.760 discloses
01:03:26.580 now it
01:03:28.640 catches the
01:03:29.280 gleam of
01:03:29.980 the morning's
01:03:30.620 first beam
01:03:31.460 in full
01:03:32.760 glory
01:03:33.220 reflected
01:03:33.860 now shines
01:03:34.920 in the
01:03:35.260 stream
01:03:35.720 it is
01:03:37.020 the star
01:03:37.540 spangled
01:03:38.040 banner
01:03:38.480 and long
01:03:39.340 may it
01:03:39.860 wave
01:03:40.320 over the
01:03:40.780 land of
01:03:41.240 the free
01:03:41.680 and the
01:03:42.040 home of
01:03:42.460 the brave
01:03:43.120 in the
01:03:45.160 morning
01:03:45.600 the first
01:03:47.540 thing they
01:03:48.080 did when
01:03:48.680 they opened
01:03:49.140 their eyes
01:03:49.840 if they
01:03:50.220 had been
01:03:50.780 able to
01:03:51.360 shut their
01:03:51.980 eyes
01:03:52.400 was to
01:03:53.340 look
01:03:53.920 for that
01:03:55.120 flag
01:03:55.600 and where
01:03:57.980 is that
01:03:58.480 band
01:03:59.040 who so
01:03:59.600 vauntantly
01:04:00.280 swore
01:04:01.020 that the
01:04:02.460 havoc of
01:04:03.140 war and
01:04:03.780 the battle's
01:04:04.480 confusion
01:04:05.140 a home
01:04:06.740 and a
01:04:07.180 country
01:04:07.600 should leave
01:04:08.320 us no
01:04:08.760 more
01:04:09.160 their blood
01:04:11.440 has washed
01:04:12.020 out of their
01:04:12.620 foul footsteps
01:04:13.600 pollution
01:04:14.320 no refuge
01:04:16.760 could save
01:04:17.740 the hireling
01:04:18.500 and the
01:04:18.880 slave
01:04:19.460 from the
01:04:20.360 terror of
01:04:21.300 flight or
01:04:22.040 the gloom
01:04:22.820 of the
01:04:23.160 grave
01:04:23.700 and the
01:04:24.720 star-spangled
01:04:25.500 banner in
01:04:26.220 triumph
01:04:26.840 doth wave
01:04:27.860 oh thus
01:04:30.340 be it
01:04:31.320 forever
01:04:31.720 when freemen
01:04:33.140 shall stand
01:04:34.160 between their
01:04:36.020 loved homes
01:04:37.300 and their
01:04:38.120 war's
01:04:38.660 desolation
01:04:39.480 blessed with
01:04:40.960 victory and
01:04:41.840 peace
01:04:42.460 may the
01:04:43.520 heavens
01:04:43.900 rescued
01:04:44.720 land
01:04:45.380 praise the
01:04:46.480 power
01:04:47.080 that hath
01:04:47.760 made and
01:04:48.500 preserved us
01:04:49.500 a nation
01:04:50.180 then conquer
01:04:52.420 we must
01:04:53.220 when our
01:04:54.200 cause is
01:04:55.320 just
01:04:55.900 and this
01:04:57.480 be our
01:04:57.960 motto
01:04:58.380 in god
01:04:59.780 is our
01:05:00.340 trust
01:05:01.000 and the
01:05:02.540 star-spangled
01:05:03.360 banner in
01:05:04.080 triumph
01:05:04.620 shall wave
01:05:05.500 over the
01:05:06.440 land of
01:05:07.040 the free
01:05:07.620 and the
01:05:08.500 home of
01:05:09.140 the brave
01:05:09.640 and the
01:05:10.420 home of
01:05:11.600 the brave
01:05:12.540 and the
01:05:13.600 who
01:05:14.540 shall stand
01:05:16.460 between
01:05:17.600 their
01:05:18.600 loved
01:05:19.920 homes
01:05:21.540 and the
01:05:22.420 war's
01:05:23.380 desolation
01:05:26.160 blessed with
01:05:27.780 victory
01:05:28.820 and
01:05:30.040 peace
01:05:31.560 may the
01:05:32.540 hemfres
01:05:34.040 new land
01:05:36.580 you know
01:05:46.440 most people
01:05:47.380 most people
01:05:49.380 don't know
01:05:50.880 and in fact
01:05:53.120 I would
01:05:53.520 guarantee you
01:05:54.580 that everyone
01:05:55.840 who is
01:05:57.900 taking a
01:05:58.900 knee
01:05:59.280 at the
01:06:00.280 star-spangled
01:06:01.080 banner
01:06:01.520 has never
01:06:03.220 heard
01:06:03.980 the
01:06:05.060 sixth
01:06:05.860 stanza
01:06:06.740 we know
01:06:07.800 there's
01:06:08.060 five
01:06:08.500 those are
01:06:10.300 all printed
01:06:10.880 did you
01:06:12.480 know that
01:06:13.280 the star-spangled
01:06:14.320 banner
01:06:14.740 added a
01:06:16.660 sixth
01:06:17.380 stanza
01:06:18.100 it's
01:06:19.940 1861
01:06:21.500 and this
01:06:24.440 is added
01:06:25.060 when our
01:06:27.240 land is
01:06:28.080 illuminated
01:06:28.820 with liberty
01:06:29.740 smile
01:06:30.560 if a
01:06:31.920 foe from
01:06:32.540 within
01:06:33.100 strike a
01:06:33.840 blow at
01:06:34.280 her glory
01:06:34.900 down
01:06:35.520 down
01:06:36.080 with the
01:06:36.540 traitor
01:06:36.940 that
01:06:37.460 dares
01:06:37.980 to
01:06:38.260 defile
01:06:38.880 the
01:06:39.400 flag

01:06:41.900 of her
01:06:42.340 story
01:06:42.860 by the
01:06:44.080 millions
01:06:44.840 unchained
01:06:46.220 who our
01:06:47.060 birthright
01:06:47.980 have
01:06:48.320 gained
01:06:49.020 we will
01:06:50.560 keep her

01:06:51.980 blazing
01:06:52.600 forever
01:06:53.100 unstained
01:06:54.100 and the
01:06:54.960 star-spangled
01:06:55.860 banner
01:06:56.300 in triumph
01:06:57.220 shall wave
01:06:58.400 while the

01:07:03.420 of the
01:07:04.240 brave
01:07:04.880 tell me
01:07:07.960 that this
01:07:09.200 doesn't stand
01:07:10.360 for freedom
01:07:11.400 for all
01:07:13.000 is the
01:07:25.720 the
01:07:26.460
01:07:29.060 And all the lambs have such some strife
01:07:35.540 Still in love, searing praise of God
01:07:41.240 Dremonating from the sun's a slaving sovereign life
01:07:49.880 Who's pursuit of justice, who's all the people who deserve
01:08:08.040 O'er the price of purity, his arms on the price
01:08:16.140 Still in love, searing praise of God
01:08:24.140 And all the lambs have such a slaving sovereign life
01:08:33.140 And all the lambs have such a slaving sovereign life
01:08:39.140 O'er the price of purity, his arms on the price
01:08:49.140 Still in love, searing praise of God
01:08:52.140 And all the lambs have such a slaving sovereign life
01:08:55.140 CHOIR SINGS
01:09:25.140 CHOIR SINGS
01:09:55.140 that has taken a story
01:09:58.280 and turned it into nothing
01:10:01.800 but something that precedes the cheer after
01:10:06.080 play ball
01:10:07.940 is shouted
01:10:11.140 I promise you now
01:10:17.880 if we do not
01:10:19.920 reconnect with our history
01:10:21.820 both the good and the bad
01:10:24.500 if we throw the baby out
01:10:27.180 with the bath water
01:10:28.760 the plea
01:10:30.740 that is the star spangled banner
01:10:33.920 it is not boastful
01:10:35.900 it is not about war
01:10:37.720 it is a plea
01:10:39.480 I promise you
01:10:46.060 if we don't
01:10:47.660 reconnect
01:10:48.420 with both the good and the bad
01:10:52.220 and make peace
01:10:53.380 with both the good and the bad
01:10:55.220 it will not be too long
01:10:58.560 before we get up
01:10:59.940 in the morning
01:11:00.740 and we ask
01:11:03.420 sincerely
01:11:04.580 does the flag
01:11:08.320 still wave
01:11:09.300 is it
01:11:11.620 still there
01:11:13.020 are we still
01:11:13.920 America
01:11:14.620 has it been
01:11:16.360 taken down
01:11:17.280 has it been
01:11:18.100 lost
01:11:18.860 overnight
01:11:20.640 our sponsor this half hour
01:11:25.480 is Mercury Real Estate
01:11:27.020 I want to tell you about
01:11:27.720 Antonio's story

01:11:31.920 realestateagentsitrust.com
01:11:33.960 within a week
01:11:35.200 he met his agent
01:11:36.880 that weekend
01:11:38.960 Antonio's agent
01:11:40.380 had four visits
01:11:41.540 lined up for his house
01:11:42.640 and on Tuesday
01:11:43.480 Antonio had an offer
01:11:45.560 on his home
01:11:46.200 real estate agents
01:11:48.180 I trust
01:11:48.680 they're going to find

01:11:53.020 agents all over America
01:11:54.480 who are just like you
01:11:56.120 they feel the same
01:11:58.840 things you feel
01:12:00.340 they believe many of the
01:12:02.040 same things you do
01:12:03.220 we're not going to agree
01:12:04.940 on everything
01:12:05.460 but some basic principles
01:12:07.100 like my word is my bond
01:12:08.640 and a handshake
01:12:10.040 is good enough
01:12:11.320 they're going to help you

01:12:17.760 real estate agents
01:12:19.440 I trust
01:12:19.860 put them to the test
01:12:20.760 the results have been
01:12:21.800 remarkable
01:12:22.320 you can read about it

01:12:33.080 Mercury
01:12:35.220 You're listening to
01:12:38.640 the Glenn Beck Program
01:12:39.720 We're going to
01:12:41.900 you know
01:12:42.560 we're being torn apart
01:12:44.040 Colin Kaepernick
01:12:44.860 is becoming a hero
01:12:46.080 I guess of some sort
01:12:47.320 the NFL
01:12:48.840 which is absolutely crazy
01:12:50.080 crazy
01:12:50.480 crazy
01:12:51.360 crazy
01:12:52.040 crazy
01:12:52.360 crazy
01:12:52.700 I mean the guy
01:12:53.760 doesn't even
01:12:54.240 he doesn't even
01:12:55.520 understand what has
01:12:56.680 happened in most of
01:12:57.720 these police
01:12:58.940 shooting cases
01:13:00.020 or defenses
01:13:01.320 he doesn't understand
01:13:02.240 them
01:13:02.440 that's another problem
01:13:03.940 yeah
01:13:04.220 it is
01:13:04.880 it is
01:13:05.620 you see the guy
01:13:06.500 who got
01:13:06.820 you know the guy
01:13:07.520 who got the tear gas
01:13:08.360 can to the
01:13:09.040 twigs and berries
01:13:10.320 yes
01:13:11.540 he went down
01:13:13.440 for the count
01:13:14.700 that's what he gets
01:13:15.180 go whack and watch
01:13:16.280 the video
01:13:16.620 everybody's watching
01:13:17.300 the tear gas can
01:13:18.340 to the pants
01:13:19.300 yeah
01:13:19.820 look who goes out
01:13:21.600 and rescues him
01:13:22.260 he's a guy wearing
01:13:23.240 a Colin Kaepernick jersey
01:13:24.780 just so
01:13:26.520 but it was a
01:13:27.240 Colin Kaepernick
01:13:27.500 oh man
01:13:28.500 you know I just saw
01:13:30.240 the jersey
01:13:30.660 I didn't look
01:13:31.340 it might have been
01:13:32.120 I don't think he wears
01:13:33.160 his jersey out
01:13:34.200 you never know
01:13:35.780 I don't
01:13:36.640 the Glenn Beck
01:13:40.460 program
01:13:41.080 look your head
01:13:43.860 here's what you need
01:13:57.000 to know on the
01:13:57.640 TSA pat downs
01:13:59.280 they're back in the news
01:14:00.380 back in the spotlight
01:14:01.480 and now there's a new
01:14:03.340 even more intensive
01:14:04.640 procedure
01:14:05.400 that some travelers
01:14:06.580 have to endure
01:14:07.840 and to many people
01:14:10.060 it borders on
01:14:10.980 sexual assault
01:14:11.940 56 year old
01:14:14.140 Jenna McFarlane
01:14:15.080 she's traveling
01:14:16.300 from Charlotte
01:14:17.120 to Baltimore
01:14:17.900 she described
01:14:19.660 her recent
01:14:20.440 experience
01:14:21.340 like this
01:14:23.020 the pat down
01:14:24.600 was done
01:14:25.180 over my clothes
01:14:26.260 they explored
01:14:27.800 my breasts
01:14:28.620 my crotch
01:14:29.480 and my buttocks
01:14:30.640 I did not
01:14:32.320 imagine
01:14:32.960 that she would
01:14:33.720 ask me
01:14:34.400 a few times
01:14:35.240 to spread
01:14:35.920 my legs
01:14:36.560 wider
01:14:37.180 and in fact
01:14:38.720 touch my vagina
01:14:40.120 four times
01:14:41.260 with the side
01:14:41.900 of her hand
01:14:42.820 this is what she
01:14:44.740 wrote in a
01:14:45.460 complaint
01:14:45.940 she told
01:14:47.260 everyone in the
01:14:48.260 TSA
01:14:48.720 everyone who
01:14:50.220 would listen
01:14:51.200 to her
01:14:51.600 that she had
01:14:52.240 been humiliated
01:14:53.680 she took her
01:14:54.760 complaints
01:14:55.400 to the TSA
01:14:56.860 and to her
01:14:58.600 congressman
01:14:59.340 so now
01:15:02.480 she's been
01:15:03.340 talking to
01:15:03.880 them for
01:15:04.360 months
01:15:04.920 and she
01:15:07.420 said
01:15:07.800 quote
01:15:08.200 I've learned
01:15:08.960 a lot
01:15:09.500 in the
01:15:09.880 following
01:15:10.240 months
01:15:10.700 about
01:15:11.120 how well
01:15:12.080 the TSA
01:15:12.840 had done
01:15:14.200 their job
01:15:14.940 and that
01:15:16.020 Congress
01:15:16.420 had approved
01:15:17.120 the procedure
01:15:17.820 I've emerged
01:15:19.680 with a healthy
01:15:20.300 respect for the
01:15:21.240 hard work of the
01:15:22.100 TSA agents
01:15:23.080 and how much
01:15:24.300 they too
01:15:24.960 must loathe
01:15:26.180 this procedure
01:15:27.240 I've always
01:15:29.280 had it in me
01:15:30.340 that as Americans
01:15:31.460 I should help
01:15:32.480 other Americans
01:15:33.300 this I felt like
01:15:35.300 was the opposite
01:15:36.200 but now that I've
01:15:38.020 spoken with the
01:15:38.920 TSA
01:15:39.440 I realized
01:15:40.840 there was no way
01:15:42.080 I could help them
01:15:43.240 other than
01:15:44.140 to submit
01:15:44.940 to what I and
01:15:46.260 others have
01:15:47.080 described as
01:15:48.000 humiliation
01:15:48.720 I thought to
01:15:50.300 myself then
01:15:51.300 there must be
01:15:52.720 another way
01:15:53.620 end quote
01:15:54.620 ha
01:15:56.680 wow
01:15:58.740 I wish I could
01:16:00.300 talk to my
01:16:00.920 congressman in
01:16:01.700 the TSA
01:16:02.320 so they could
01:16:03.680 make things so
01:16:04.500 so much better
01:16:05.280 for me too
01:16:06.140 there is another
01:16:07.800 way
01:16:08.200 in fact there are
01:16:08.980 lots of different
01:16:09.820 ways
01:16:10.320 we don't need to
01:16:11.320 roll over and
01:16:12.100 play dead
01:16:13.120 while someone
01:16:14.420 does random
01:16:15.420 searches
01:16:16.060 they are not
01:16:17.120 effective
01:16:18.060 we can be
01:16:19.540 smarter
01:16:20.100 and we're
01:16:20.960 better than
01:16:21.760 this
01:16:22.200 and if the
01:16:23.300 TSA
01:16:23.980 your congressman
01:16:25.600 or your media
01:16:26.700 source aren't
01:16:27.420 telling you that
01:16:28.280 then it's time
01:16:29.220 for a new TSA
01:16:30.280 another congressman
01:16:31.720 or a new
01:16:33.120 media source
01:16:34.280 I will make
01:16:36.480 a stand
01:16:37.420 I will raise
01:16:38.620 my voice
01:16:39.680 I will hold
01:16:40.820 your hand
01:16:41.940 cause we are
01:16:43.380 one
01:16:43.920 I will beat
01:16:45.120 my drum
01:16:46.120 I have made
01:16:47.340 my choice
01:16:48.360 we will overcome
01:16:50.040 cause we are
01:16:52.320 one
01:16:52.840 the fusion
01:16:53.640 of entertainment
01:16:54.680 and enlightenment
01:16:55.900 this is
01:16:57.420 the Glenn
01:16:58.300 Beck
01:16:59.300 program
01:17:00.520 ok
01:17:04.660 google and
01:17:05.660 walmart
01:17:06.140 are now
01:17:07.300 teaming up
01:17:07.980 amazon
01:17:09.200 wasn't
01:17:09.680 invited
01:17:10.100 amazon
01:17:12.200 the largest
01:17:12.840 online
01:17:13.440 retailer
01:17:14.100 and a big
01:17:14.580 reason
01:17:14.920 physical stores
01:17:15.600 are now
01:17:16.060 struggling
01:17:16.640 walmart
01:17:18.940 is the
01:17:19.940 largest
01:17:20.460 offline
01:17:21.360 retailer
01:17:22.160 and is a
01:17:23.260 very distant
01:17:24.520 second when it
01:17:25.420 comes to online
01:17:26.180 sales
01:17:26.680 they've been
01:17:27.440 trying to
01:17:28.080 make up the
01:17:28.680 difference for
01:17:29.380 years now
01:17:30.220 walmart
01:17:32.020 is really
01:17:33.040 really
01:17:33.860 struggling
01:17:34.400 hard
01:17:34.880 they're getting
01:17:35.360 beat to
01:17:36.720 death
01:17:37.040 and in
01:17:38.720 where is it
01:17:39.220 bentonville
01:17:39.800 bentonville
01:17:40.800 the layoffs
01:17:41.420 are really
01:17:42.280 quite intense
01:17:43.360 as
01:17:43.800 you're gonna
01:17:45.280 have to reinvent
01:17:45.780 yourself
01:17:46.280 you know
01:17:47.340 every five
01:17:47.920 years
01:17:48.300 and what
01:17:48.980 they built
01:17:49.720 no longer
01:17:50.560 is what
01:17:52.200 the world
01:17:52.620 is using
01:17:53.220 now
01:17:55.140 they're teaming
01:17:56.420 up with
01:17:56.840 google
01:17:57.300 and they're
01:17:58.660 gonna sell
01:17:59.040 their products
01:17:59.560 on google
01:18:00.540 express
01:18:01.080 this is
01:18:02.140 google's
01:18:02.640 digital
01:18:03.040 shopping
01:18:03.520 mall
01:18:03.860 where you
01:18:04.200 can buy
01:18:04.620 things
01:18:05.140 you know
01:18:06.100 target
01:18:06.700 costco
01:18:07.260 walgreens
01:18:07.940 etc
01:18:08.280 the partnership
01:18:09.780 lets shoppers
01:18:10.960 order from
01:18:11.700 walmart
01:18:12.300 using google
01:18:13.940 home
01:18:14.440 just like
01:18:15.940 amazon's
01:18:16.660 echo
01:18:17.120 so now
01:18:18.880 what does
01:18:19.880 this mean
01:18:20.580 this means
01:18:22.380 for walmart
01:18:23.240 that they're
01:18:23.920 gonna have
01:18:24.560 you know
01:18:25.120 more customers
01:18:26.120 and they're
01:18:27.220 gonna slide
01:18:27.660 into amazon's
01:18:28.600 territory
01:18:29.100 is amazon
01:18:33.120 and now
01:18:33.800 it's amazon
01:18:34.260 and google
01:18:34.700 going head
01:18:35.340 to head
01:18:35.660 and everybody
01:18:36.260 if you want
01:18:36.840 to stay
01:18:37.180 i think if you
01:18:38.220 want to stay
01:18:38.580 in business
01:18:39.060 you better get
01:18:40.640 on the amazon
01:18:41.600 train or the
01:18:42.300 google train
01:18:42.940 or some train
01:18:43.840 because all the
01:18:44.640 trains are leaving
01:18:45.300 the station and
01:18:45.980 they're all run
01:18:46.560 by these four
01:18:47.140 companies
01:18:47.700 calls into
01:18:48.900 facebook
01:18:49.260 right now
01:18:50.020 just submit
01:18:51.860 i think that's
01:18:52.300 the easier way
01:18:52.860 it is
01:18:53.160 i have
01:18:54.020 i have learned
01:18:54.940 that there's a
01:18:55.700 better way
01:18:56.320 and it is
01:18:57.220 google
01:18:57.620 at first i thought
01:18:59.400 there wasn't
01:19:00.040 but they convinced
01:19:00.800 me it's the
01:19:01.460 only way to go
01:19:02.600 did you see
01:19:03.320 amazon instant
01:19:04.180 too
01:19:04.600 which they're
01:19:05.260 going to be
01:19:05.480 doing these
01:19:05.860 lockers
01:19:06.520 they're setting
01:19:06.980 up at like
01:19:07.380 gas stations
01:19:07.940 and you can
01:19:09.460 just go like
01:19:10.240 order and like
01:19:11.180 a minute later
01:19:12.100 two minutes later
01:19:13.180 go pick it up
01:19:13.900 at a place
01:19:15.500 so like if
01:19:15.820 you're driving
01:19:16.160 back you're
01:19:16.760 getting gas
01:19:17.320 i don't want
01:19:18.300 to go pick
01:19:18.700 it up
01:19:18.960 it's the fastest
01:19:21.000 way you can
01:19:21.480 get something
01:19:22.020 what do you
01:19:22.540 mean these
01:19:23.020 lockers
01:19:23.660 they're going
01:19:24.200 to act
01:19:24.540 they're like
01:19:25.040 setting up
01:19:25.660 lock almost
01:19:26.380 like gym
01:19:26.880 lockers
01:19:27.360 and like all
01:19:28.140 these like
01:19:28.540 basic necessities
01:19:29.720 they're doing
01:19:30.000 it particularly
01:19:30.460 in college
01:19:30.960 towns
01:19:31.320 but like basic
01:19:32.360 necessities you
01:19:32.980 might need
01:19:33.440 instead of
01:19:33.960 having to
01:19:34.340 order to
01:19:36.100 you know to
01:19:36.500 get them
01:19:36.740 delivered from
01:19:37.120 the store
01:19:37.400 which amazon
01:19:38.220 prime now can
01:19:38.900 take up to
01:19:39.780 like two hours
01:19:40.780 so who can
01:19:41.300 wait that long
01:19:42.100 and so you can
01:19:43.020 just you know
01:19:43.400 stop by on your
01:19:44.100 way home or
01:19:44.680 just walk by
01:19:45.260 one of these
01:19:45.700 lockers and
01:19:46.200 pick up
01:19:46.580 whatever the
01:19:47.060 necessity is
01:19:47.700 that you
01:19:47.960 need
01:19:48.180 okay so
01:19:48.980 now here's
01:19:50.220 here is a
01:19:51.300 another big
01:19:52.920 change that
01:19:53.800 change that is
01:19:54.540 coming to
01:19:55.100 america
01:19:55.700 have you ever
01:19:57.000 heard of
01:19:57.440 little
01:19:57.960 l-i-d-l
01:19:59.880 little
01:20:00.260 it's a
01:20:01.520 european
01:20:02.080 grocery change
01:20:03.060 grocery change
01:20:04.060 you heard about
01:20:04.480 this store
01:20:05.060 yeah have you
01:20:05.740 seen one yet
01:20:06.360 uh
01:20:06.680 pictures
01:20:07.320 okay
01:20:08.120 they are
01:20:09.580 nine percent
01:20:11.180 cheaper than
01:20:12.260 walmart
01:20:12.760 wow
01:20:14.540 nine percent
01:20:16.180 cheaper
01:20:16.740 um and they
01:20:18.820 offer products
01:20:19.680 as uh as
01:20:20.860 much as
01:20:21.240 fifty percent
01:20:22.240 less than
01:20:23.000 rival stores
01:20:23.920 but on the
01:20:24.800 average
01:20:25.420 nine percent
01:20:26.960 less
01:20:27.460 ten you know
01:20:27.980 ten percent
01:20:28.440 is a lot of
01:20:28.980 a lot of cash
01:20:29.900 where are their
01:20:30.600 products being made
01:20:31.540 uh walmart's are
01:20:32.440 all in china are
01:20:33.200 they making them
01:20:33.740 in bangladesh
01:20:34.520 so here's
01:20:35.260 where are these
01:20:35.700 made so here's
01:20:37.960 yes here's how
01:20:38.640 they here's how
01:20:39.340 they do it
01:20:39.760 most of the
01:20:41.760 products they have
01:20:42.540 are private
01:20:43.080 label brands
01:20:43.920 ninety percent
01:20:44.920 products in
01:20:45.680 little stores are
01:20:46.500 private label
01:20:47.180 brands products
01:20:48.660 manufactured specifically
01:20:50.200 for little so
01:20:51.060 it's a name you
01:20:51.640 can trust
01:20:52.060 um uh two
01:20:54.980 they have a
01:20:56.300 limited selection
01:20:57.100 of products
01:20:58.120 they instead
01:21:00.020 i mean right
01:21:01.000 now remember
01:21:01.580 um
01:21:02.720 remember i told
01:21:04.100 you that
01:21:04.560 uh what was
01:21:05.580 it 10 or
01:21:06.440 15 years ago
01:21:07.280 the most
01:21:08.320 elaborate grocery
01:21:09.520 stores had
01:21:10.880 between 10
01:21:11.900 and 20
01:21:12.580 thousand uh
01:21:14.160 products on
01:21:14.660 the shelves
01:21:15.100 the the the
01:21:17.680 nice grocery
01:21:18.360 stores now
01:21:18.840 they're really
01:21:19.280 you know really
01:21:19.920 nice grocery
01:21:20.500 stores have
01:21:21.060 60,000
01:21:22.620 different products
01:21:23.960 on the shelves
01:21:24.840 that's too much
01:21:25.440 there's too many
01:21:26.160 options
01:21:26.480 no it's not
01:21:27.300 there's too many
01:21:27.720 options
01:21:27.980 i love it
01:21:28.460 it's great
01:21:29.500 little only has
01:21:30.520 2,000 products
01:21:31.800 okay
01:21:32.980 that's a big
01:21:33.540 difference
01:21:33.920 it stocks the
01:21:34.800 fast-moving
01:21:35.700 uh items
01:21:36.620 the things that
01:21:37.380 people buy
01:21:38.060 most often
01:21:39.200 um so they're
01:21:40.720 limited to the
01:21:41.360 fast-moving items
01:21:42.620 which means they
01:21:44.040 don't have the
01:21:44.620 money tied up in
01:21:45.520 inventory
01:21:46.180 um their stores
01:21:47.780 are relatively
01:21:48.640 small on average
01:21:49.860 they're 20,000
01:21:50.780 square feet
01:21:51.560 uh which is
01:21:53.220 larger than most
01:21:54.080 european stores
01:21:55.560 but a quarter the
01:21:56.460 size of the
01:21:57.440 traditional u.s uh
01:21:59.180 supermarket like
01:22:00.020 kroger it
01:22:01.560 also uh has
01:22:03.560 very few staff
01:22:04.660 members so it
01:22:05.840 is automating an
01:22:07.100 awful lot of
01:22:07.700 stuff and oh
01:22:09.540 my gosh that's
01:22:10.280 evil they're
01:22:11.080 saving me money
01:22:11.860 it displays all
01:22:13.880 the uh the
01:22:16.020 products in the
01:22:16.820 boxes that they
01:22:17.840 came and they
01:22:20.040 cut costs by
01:22:21.540 building one wall
01:22:23.120 of the store and
01:22:24.260 sometimes two walls
01:22:25.780 of the store with
01:22:26.940 nothing but glass
01:22:27.980 and that way it's
01:22:29.360 all natural light
01:22:30.120 that's coming into
01:22:30.740 the store and
01:22:31.400 they don't have to
01:22:32.100 spend so much
01:22:32.620 money on uh
01:22:33.960 lighting wow uh
01:22:36.220 yeah i mean they
01:22:36.980 they look at
01:22:38.120 they looked at
01:22:39.020 every way that the
01:22:40.600 grocery store was
01:22:41.460 inefficient and
01:22:42.380 wasteful uh and
01:22:44.280 they don't spend a
01:22:45.140 ton on ads that's
01:22:47.080 how they're doing
01:22:47.580 that's how they're
01:22:48.200 nine percent cheaper
01:22:49.580 no they just have
01:22:50.680 heidi klum as a
01:22:51.420 spokesperson
01:22:51.840 they're right
01:22:53.140 yeah do they
01:22:53.880 yeah she's their
01:22:54.940 big front person now
01:22:56.040 coming into the
01:22:57.000 states i mean
01:22:57.740 things are changing
01:22:58.420 at such a
01:22:58.900 breathtaking pace
01:22:59.780 that i mean
01:23:00.560 things are changing
01:23:01.620 for um you know
01:23:03.520 retail outlets for
01:23:04.740 malls for grocery
01:23:05.900 stores everything
01:23:06.840 theaters the
01:23:08.480 theater chains are
01:23:09.140 all freaked out
01:23:09.740 because they're about
01:23:10.700 to really drastically
01:23:12.560 shorten the time
01:23:13.340 between the release
01:23:14.480 uh at a movie theater
01:23:16.000 and the release at
01:23:16.700 home what is the
01:23:17.700 what is i have to
01:23:18.520 buy this stew this
01:23:19.520 is perfect for me
01:23:20.440 what is the service
01:23:21.440 that you just found
01:23:22.280 for movie theaters
01:23:22.920 uh movie pass
01:23:24.200 we're actually going
01:23:25.260 to talk to the ceo
01:23:26.200 next week i believe
01:23:27.120 okay um i don't
01:23:28.540 know how ten bucks
01:23:29.860 a month i don't
01:23:30.580 know how they're
01:23:31.060 doing this so movie
01:23:32.200 pass you buy movie
01:23:33.900 pass it's ten dollars
01:23:35.580 a month you can go
01:23:37.300 to unlimited number
01:23:39.280 of movies it's
01:23:40.080 unlimited it's one
01:23:41.020 per day so you'd be
01:23:42.440 limited to 31 in a
01:23:43.640 month okay so you
01:23:44.700 can go see one per
01:23:46.140 day no double
01:23:47.600 features uh and you
01:23:49.320 can't repeat you can't
01:23:50.420 go see the same movie
01:23:51.500 over and over again
01:23:52.460 still that's a crazy
01:23:54.080 deal for a guy like
01:23:55.420 me i see four movies
01:23:56.460 crazy if they're out
01:23:57.800 dollar price would
01:23:58.520 have been good for
01:23:59.060 you yeah even if you
01:24:00.280 see one a month okay
01:24:02.140 so can't figure out
01:24:03.320 can't figure out how
01:24:04.780 how are they making
01:24:05.640 money well it's not
01:24:07.520 that hard if you see
01:24:08.560 who's signing up for
01:24:09.420 them for instance in
01:24:10.820 our area it's a movie
01:24:12.660 house bar and grill
01:24:13.420 right that's one of
01:24:14.700 them yeah so the the
01:24:17.400 way movie theaters are
01:24:18.340 changing is they're
01:24:19.580 selling food so movies
01:24:21.920 are making money off of
01:24:23.400 the concessions the
01:24:24.840 one that's going to
01:24:25.420 be a problem is the
01:24:27.040 movie companies
01:24:27.920 themselves because if
01:24:30.460 i go to four movies i
01:24:33.260 have to buy a ticket
01:24:34.640 and the movie company
01:24:37.560 wants their ticket so
01:24:39.220 but that is the problem
01:24:40.400 of the of of movie
01:24:42.380 pass not of the movie
01:24:43.820 companies because they
01:24:44.520 are paying full price
01:24:45.520 tickets for every single
01:24:46.480 time you go somehow oh
01:24:48.040 i know we will ask the
01:24:48.740 ceo it's tuesday at this
01:24:50.200 time so you want to hear
01:24:51.500 how the heck they're
01:24:52.280 doing this we will try
01:24:53.600 to find out for you i
01:24:54.520 think it's fantastic i
01:24:55.880 mean it's unbelievable
01:24:57.300 yeah i just haven't
01:24:58.200 gotten around to it but
01:24:59.000 i got to sign up i
01:24:59.900 signed up and went to
01:25:02.420 a movie with my kids
01:25:03.240 this weekend and i mean
01:25:05.280 right on the app you
01:25:06.460 just pick my theater i
01:25:08.260 put the time i picked
01:25:09.620 the pre-selected seating
01:25:11.120 too it was one of those
01:25:11.720 you know pre-selected
01:25:12.780 seating it was a dine-in
01:25:13.940 theater put it in like
01:25:15.580 that it worked perfectly
01:25:17.320 fine walked up told him
01:25:18.380 my confirmation number and
01:25:19.320 walked right in and it's
01:25:20.880 ten dollars a month and
01:25:21.900 wow the movie would
01:25:22.540 have cost me ten dollars
01:25:23.500 anyway so now i'm even
01:25:25.360 for any other movies i
01:25:26.340 want to go to this month
01:25:27.140 so it's ten dollars per
01:25:29.100 person so yeah per
01:25:30.580 person at movie house
01:25:32.300 and eatery how do they
01:25:33.380 how did they when their
01:25:34.720 lowest price is twelve
01:25:36.060 dollars how are they
01:25:36.900 taking somebody's ten
01:25:37.960 dollar ticket how are
01:25:39.460 they're not taking a
01:25:40.120 ten dollar ticket that's
01:25:40.920 the thing not their
01:25:41.700 movie pass is giving
01:25:42.520 twelve dollars so okay
01:25:44.780 so they're paying for
01:25:45.840 movie house that's
01:25:47.300 weird it's amazing i mean
01:25:49.460 they're just hoping for
01:25:50.300 volume saturday night
01:25:51.620 live bit where the bank
01:25:52.600 all they did was make
01:25:53.360 change and everyone
01:25:54.080 asked how did you make
01:25:54.820 money off of this and
01:25:55.520 they just said volume
01:25:56.840 how does that work i don't
01:25:59.760 know i seriously can't
01:26:01.440 wait to ask this guy this
01:26:02.420 the only thing i can come
01:26:03.680 up with as i've been
01:26:04.340 thinking about the
01:26:04.960 business model is they
01:26:06.500 think over time they
01:26:08.580 hope so many people will
01:26:10.180 sign up they will have
01:26:11.540 enough of an army to go
01:26:13.600 to these companies and
01:26:14.820 say okay instead of
01:26:15.940 giving you full price now
01:26:17.040 we're going to give you
01:26:17.680 half price for each
01:26:19.840 movie and hopefully
01:26:21.460 hoping that they will
01:26:22.580 take it as an investor
01:26:24.620 that's a risky idea yeah
01:26:26.380 i mean especially especially
01:26:27.880 in new york city what is
01:26:28.920 it fifteen dollars
01:26:30.060 sixteen dollars a ticket
01:26:31.080 in manhattan so you're
01:26:32.240 losing six bucks a ticket
01:26:33.660 every time someone goes
01:26:34.740 so how is this work now
01:26:36.740 obviously there will be
01:26:37.440 some people who don't
01:26:38.260 see a movie in a month
01:26:39.120 but when it's only ten
01:26:40.420 dollars i don't think
01:26:41.520 that's going to make up
01:26:42.140 for the people who go see
01:26:42.960 four six eight ten movies
01:26:44.660 in a month i mean people
01:26:45.860 will go away they'll go
01:26:46.920 all the time when it's
01:26:47.800 free for me yeah i mean
01:26:49.340 i see a lot of movies
01:26:50.440 but i can see four movies
01:26:52.060 easy a month easy easy
01:26:54.140 a month you go to
01:26:54.980 double features and then
01:26:55.860 that wouldn't work with
01:26:56.600 this but you'd only have
01:26:57.220 to pay for one extra
01:26:57.960 ticket i guess but i mean
01:26:59.300 you you do and you have
01:27:01.240 a full-time job uh and
01:27:03.840 you do a lot of things
01:27:04.900 think of like a college
01:27:06.480 town where like you know
01:27:08.080 you've got all this extra
01:27:09.180 time to like roll out
01:27:10.380 with your friends to go
01:27:11.220 see movies they'll see
01:27:12.040 twenty five movies in a
01:27:13.380 week they'll see
01:27:14.880 everything at the
01:27:15.840 multiplex at multiple
01:27:16.880 theaters i don't know
01:27:18.560 how they think this is
01:27:19.840 going to work honestly
01:27:20.760 at fifty dollars a month
01:27:22.200 the fifty yeah i mean
01:27:23.200 it's legitimate i would
01:27:24.280 absolutely play twenty
01:27:25.320 five or thirty don't
01:27:25.940 know that because ten
01:27:27.180 dollars is a lot better
01:27:28.240 and we're going to tell
01:27:29.260 him when he's on we
01:27:30.400 wouldn't have paid that
01:27:31.340 no way that would be
01:27:32.760 that's a crazy amount of
01:27:33.760 fun finally i've known
01:27:34.860 that if it was because i
01:27:37.060 had forty bucks a month
01:27:39.200 i wouldn't have because
01:27:39.880 movies here ten bucks i
01:27:41.220 just probably wouldn't
01:27:41.900 have done it yeah um
01:27:43.240 but if it was thirty
01:27:45.100 bucks twenty bucks a
01:27:46.320 month i would have done
01:27:47.440 that because i would
01:27:48.540 have i would have done
01:27:50.140 that most people i don't
01:27:51.020 think will see the amount
01:27:51.880 of movies that i see
01:27:52.680 however you might if
01:27:53.780 with this deal i mean
01:27:55.140 if you're paying ten to
01:27:56.100 twenty thirty bucks a
01:27:57.120 month you might go to
01:27:58.300 the movies more right
01:27:59.320 like you'll you'll be
01:28:00.080 more willing to hey
01:28:01.720 you know i've got a
01:28:02.300 couple hours open uh
01:28:04.060 you know instead of
01:28:04.720 going to the gym i know
01:28:05.720 we all are big gym rats
01:28:06.940 here so and then maybe
01:28:08.120 skip a gym trip here or
01:28:09.360 there and i can't
01:28:10.280 skip a gym trip you
01:28:12.200 don't know that just
01:28:13.160 substitute something if
01:28:14.080 i know i'm sorry if i
01:28:15.620 opened up all my gym
01:28:17.220 time that would give me
01:28:19.140 oh man no extra time
01:28:20.920 but uh i see your point
01:28:23.240 i know you're not
01:28:24.180 dedicated like we are
01:28:25.200 yeah yeah you're not
01:28:26.340 dedicated it's an
01:28:27.680 incredible deal though and
01:28:28.500 i and and i will say
01:28:29.780 i've had some issues
01:28:31.300 with certain parts of
01:28:32.160 it signing up like
01:28:32.960 because they they give
01:28:33.840 you a movie pass card
01:28:34.800 that they supposedly
01:28:35.460 mail to you which i've
01:28:36.760 not been able to acquire
01:28:37.800 that yet however on the
01:28:39.460 app is a bunch of
01:28:40.100 theaters you can choose
01:28:40.820 from and just through
01:28:41.540 the app was able to get
01:28:42.400 in already it's already
01:28:43.080 worked for me so i mean
01:28:45.640 i don't know how it's i
01:28:47.220 don't know how it's a
01:28:48.580 sustainable business
01:28:49.220 model and amc theater is
01:28:50.680 one of the big chains is
01:28:51.940 saying hey guys i don't
01:28:53.880 know how this is a
01:28:54.940 sustainable business
01:28:55.960 model and they're
01:28:56.960 threatening legal action
01:28:58.020 but i don't know how
01:28:59.020 what do they care they're
01:29:01.340 getting full price tickets
01:29:02.240 every time i don't know
01:29:03.220 why they gotta see the
01:29:03.920 writing they have to see
01:29:04.600 the writing on the wall
01:29:05.400 right i mean you don't
01:29:06.260 have to it's month by
01:29:07.400 month you can cancel it
01:29:08.640 anytime anytime yep um
01:29:10.160 and so the the rumor is
01:29:11.860 or at least the theory is
01:29:12.860 that amc is thinking
01:29:14.200 people are going to get
01:29:15.000 used to paying ten dollars
01:29:16.440 for a month to see
01:29:17.120 multiple movies and then
01:29:18.180 when this company
01:29:19.000 dissolves they're going
01:29:20.380 to everyone's going to
01:29:21.060 get pissed off at them
01:29:21.900 but i mean you know
01:29:23.280 oh my gosh maybe it is
01:29:26.240 a maybe it is a marxist
01:29:30.320 plant to overthrow the
01:29:32.640 bourgeoisie wow wow
01:29:34.500 that are running the movie
01:29:35.840 that are running the movie
01:29:37.180 theaters they're all like
01:29:38.440 we can take them down
01:29:39.980 we'll get everybody used
01:29:41.620 to ten dollars and then
01:29:43.140 nothing and they'll all go
01:29:45.140 out and all the movie
01:29:46.240 theaters we can set them
01:29:47.460 all on fire that's how
01:29:49.120 this works it's how it
01:29:50.020 happens in every
01:29:50.960 so it happened well nowhere
01:29:54.280 else but it could have
01:29:56.280 still could have it could
01:29:57.420 have it could have what if
01:29:58.420 it did what if it did what
01:29:59.800 if it did and now this
01:30:01.660 you ever get so tired and
01:30:04.380 so you just collapse in
01:30:06.660 bed yes every night you
01:30:10.500 ever get to the point to
01:30:11.540 where you you you get up in
01:30:16.440 the morning and then you
01:30:17.980 still collapse back in but
01:30:20.640 you just stand up and then
01:30:21.860 you're just like i can't and
01:30:23.280 you just crawl back into bed

01:31:30.000 listening you're listening to
01:31:32.460 the glenn beck program the
01:31:36.920 glenn beck program mercury
01:31:40.800 triple eight seven two seven
01:31:44.620 back this is the glenn beck
01:31:47.380 program beach police just
01:31:48.980 stopped by to tell me that uh
01:31:51.120 uh the grocery store little is
01:31:54.240 pronounced leedle and i'm
01:31:56.420 sorry uh to you know all the
01:31:59.260 nazis i offended i i don't
01:32:01.780 speak nazi you will soon but
01:32:04.340 sorry sorry too much is run by
01:32:07.660 nazis well you know germans
01:32:09.540 yeah leedle just sounds more
01:32:11.480 nazi than little yes it does
01:32:13.520 you know leedle oh look at my
01:32:15.480 little leedle uh-huh i know i
01:32:17.960 saw where's your german shepherd
01:32:19.860 you expect edelweiss to begin yes
01:32:21.760 yes i do i do so uh thank you
01:32:26.140 for that uh stew there is uh
01:32:28.080 also a new report out this is a
01:32:30.680 phone survey so i don't know who
01:32:32.460 i don't know even who has a phone
01:32:34.360 and then who answers the phone and
01:32:36.840 then finds out it's a survey and
01:32:38.520 then answers that but those people
01:32:41.880 whoever they are 85 percent of
01:32:44.920 americans believe that people have
01:32:47.180 the right to free speech and it is
01:32:48.800 more important than making sure no
01:32:50.440 one is offended by what others say
01:32:52.060 eight percent think it's more
01:32:54.140 important to make sure that no one
01:32:55.440 gets offended
01:32:56.140 um this shows little change from
01:32:59.580 past surveys 83 percent think it's
01:33:01.860 more important for the united
01:33:02.700 states to guarantee freedom of
01:33:03.960 speech than it's to make sure that
01:33:05.680 nothing is uh that nothing is done
01:33:07.980 to offend other nations and
01:33:09.940 cultures 73 percent agree with the
01:33:12.660 line from voltaire i disapprove of
01:33:14.560 what you say but i will defend to the
01:33:16.800 death your right to say it only 10
01:33:19.120 percent disagree with that statement
01:33:20.640 17 percent are undecided i think
01:33:23.900 that's because you're like to the
01:33:25.360 death really yeah i might say i might
01:33:27.800 say something yeah i gotta stand up
01:33:30.380 and i'm gonna be like hey dude you
01:33:31.540 oh no you got a right to say that but
01:33:33.680 to the death you start getting out you
01:33:36.540 know weapons i'm probably gonna shut up
01:33:38.800 i'm like whatever i didn't really agree
01:33:41.440 with that either yeah i mean it was my
01:33:44.320 mom so she's lived a good life anyway
01:33:47.800 there's more to the survey uh back in
01:33:51.180 just a second
01:33:51.780 this is the glenn beck program mercury
01:34:06.100 the glenn beck program welcome to the
01:34:12.760 program
01:34:13.440 so is this um is this a new stance from
01:34:18.780 roy moore or is this i shouldn't say
01:34:20.240 this
01:34:20.460 is this something that they're digging
01:34:22.800 up from his past in 2008 roy moore is
01:34:26.060 is running um for the senate as a
01:34:30.660 republican and uh he said um let me give
01:34:36.760 you a couple of quotes my opinion is
01:34:38.860 there's a big question about the
01:34:40.160 citizenship of uh president obama my
01:34:43.820 personal belief is that he wasn't and
01:34:46.040 that's probably over and done in a few
01:34:48.120 days unless we get something else to
01:34:50.440 come along meaning he wasn't born here
01:34:52.420 in the united states heaven help us
01:34:54.320 that's got to be an old quote right
01:34:55.900 why would you well that one is an old
01:34:57.560 quote 2008 right it's gotta be uh is
01:34:59.780 this uh this is 2009 i haven't seen one
01:35:02.900 thing in the press about this and yet
01:35:04.100 the president of the united states will
01:35:05.040 not present his birth certificate yada
01:35:07.240 yada yada
01:35:07.940 2009 i remember him being on that ben
01:35:10.400 um that's because at the time he was
01:35:13.200 writing for world net daily and their
01:35:14.900 big deal was
01:35:15.920 every day yeah the birther stuff
01:35:19.200 uh 2013 alabama supreme court case
01:35:24.100 closely tied to the birther conspiracy
01:35:25.940 court royal ruled seven to two and
01:35:28.500 dismissing a lawsuit that sought to have
01:35:30.580 alabama secretary of state certify the
01:35:32.120 birth certificate of presidential
01:35:33.640 candidates he was part of that
01:35:35.600 oh man um and that i think is the last
01:35:38.460 time i hope he's not bringing that up
01:35:40.040 now but that's what you know that's what
01:35:42.880 cnn is reporting and pathetic
01:35:45.680 you know what whatever um there's a
01:35:52.440 couple of other things here that i think
01:35:54.380 are interesting did you see had a chance
01:35:56.060 in alabama to pick somebody really good
01:35:57.780 and they blew it so yeah did you um
01:36:01.100 did you see the story about the latest
01:36:05.780 poll numbers for donald trump um and
01:36:10.820 this is being spun um and i don't i mean
01:36:15.060 i don't i i'm tired of trying to figure
01:36:19.140 out what the angle of the press is on both
01:36:22.080 the left and the right you know what i mean
01:36:23.480 just can you just give me the news
01:36:24.840 um this is this is no different than any
01:36:29.660 other president any other incumbent this
01:36:31.860 is the it's right in the pack it's you
01:36:34.540 know the the the right is reporting it as
01:36:37.100 this is a runaway freight train for donald
01:36:39.240 trump no it's not it's right in the
01:36:41.000 center of the pack right where everybody
01:36:43.000 usually is at this time in their
01:36:45.260 presidency um and the the left is trying
01:36:49.720 to scare you into oh my gosh look he'd
01:36:53.580 win today no he wouldn't i mean he he
01:36:57.860 would if the primary this is primary this
01:37:00.600 is not general election this is primary and
01:37:03.420 who's he running against who's gonna
01:37:05.260 primary who's gonna primary him right
01:37:06.940 right now nobody and then nobody was
01:37:08.960 gonna primary a president obama nobody
01:37:11.340 was gonna primary president clinton nobody
01:37:14.000 was gonna primary you know president uh
01:37:16.820 uh carter it doesn't happen it just
01:37:20.180 doesn't happen it's very yeah very
01:37:21.920 unlikely usually and there can be
01:37:23.400 somebody right um harry antin went back
01:37:26.240 and looked at the previous incumbents who
01:37:29.220 had they were actually there was early
01:37:31.160 polling in their presidency against a
01:37:33.480 future primary uh jimmy carter in 1978
01:37:36.360 uh had 58 percent of of the vote against
01:37:39.960 jerry brown at the time 23 uh bill
01:37:42.180 clinton 72 to 19 uh against what the
01:37:45.480 thought uh the potential challenger at the
01:37:47.540 time colin powell which is weird because
01:37:49.860 he was a republican right and i guess i
01:37:51.700 guess not um barack obama 52 37 over
01:37:55.380 clinton however again you're at the point
01:37:57.540 there where uh you know you had a really
01:38:00.260 big name challenger um at that point and
01:38:03.160 then trump came in at 54 and then
01:38:06.080 cruz casick sass and cotton were also
01:38:08.500 listed at 13 10 one and one um so if you
01:38:12.580 look at it just kind of like it's hard
01:38:13.980 because there's four challengers there
01:38:16.040 but if you look at like what they got
01:38:17.580 carter 58 clinton 72 obama 52 trump 54 so
01:38:23.400 he's slightly outperforming obama and
01:38:25.800 slightly underperforming carter and
01:38:27.700 clinton had really good numbers at that
01:38:29.160 time um but he's in the middle of the
01:38:31.440 pack there like it's not that's not a
01:38:32.720 terrible number for him against a primary
01:38:34.280 field not a great number for him against
01:38:36.180 the primary field it's probably not
01:38:37.380 gonna happen historically and it's
01:38:38.860 probably not gonna happen if he gets
01:38:40.840 into the 22 23 percent approval rating
01:38:44.200 then you'll see people jump into the
01:38:45.740 mix but i don't think that's gonna
01:38:47.660 happen i really don't i think the press
01:38:50.220 has so misplayed this the left has so
01:38:52.860 misplayed this as far as if that was
01:38:55.100 your real goal but that's not their real
01:38:56.400 goal the real goal is to um paint
01:38:59.460 everybody on the left as a racist and a
01:39:01.900 bigot on the right paint everybody's a
01:39:04.140 racist and a bigot and and uh to prove
01:39:06.940 how right they really were so they can
01:39:09.560 you know they can sweep out the
01:39:11.640 republicans for all time that's their
01:39:13.340 goal it has nothing to do with donald
01:39:15.120 trump yeah i don't think they're just
01:39:16.360 using him as a excuse and he's making
01:39:18.600 it very easy for them and low 20s is
01:39:21.420 basically impossible without a huge
01:39:23.220 event i mean he can't he can't flub a
01:39:26.260 response to a crisis badly enough in his
01:39:29.920 words to get to 22 percent well but
01:39:32.360 there are things that can happen to
01:39:33.720 bring you that low i've heard a rumor
01:39:34.980 that he's quitting by the end of the
01:39:36.400 year to sell facial cream what yeah
01:39:38.460 he's he's you know it's weird he's
01:39:40.720 starting a new business he hasn't
01:39:42.280 talked about it much he's just getting
01:39:44.180 it going but there's a new facial cream
01:39:46.540 that he's working on that he wants to
01:39:48.080 get out of the presidency and go devote
01:39:49.960 full time to that because it's going so
01:39:51.780 well for him now is this the thing
01:39:53.220 really well that's causing stress in
01:39:54.940 his marriage with melania yes oh my
01:39:56.740 gosh we're not talking about that
01:39:58.220 really because she doesn't know he's
01:40:00.960 leaving to sell facial cream yet oh my
01:40:02.740 gosh wait is this the thing where the
01:40:04.840 reporter went off script and asked
01:40:06.720 them that question yes and you're not
01:40:08.080 going to believe what happened yes
01:40:09.160 yes now you may believe it because
01:40:12.240 you've heard it with about 830 other
01:40:14.880 people but and all of them seem to be
01:40:16.840 in their current jobs yes they do but
01:40:18.660 that they're all leaving pretty soon
01:40:20.460 pretty soon pretty soon yeah what
01:40:22.860 happens to the economy what happens to
01:40:24.620 entertainment what happens to the
01:40:25.760 government when all these people
01:40:27.620 sell a facial cream well the only thing
01:40:30.100 i know there's gonna be a glut of
01:40:31.300 facial cream providers there are and i
01:40:33.720 think it's gonna a real supply demand
01:40:36.280 issue it's really however it's not a
01:40:38.020 smart move it's going to be a very
01:40:40.340 crowded market very soon unless you have
01:40:44.560 the quintessential facial cream yeah
01:40:46.780 maybe he does maybe don't of course
01:40:48.700 he does of course he does he has all the
01:40:50.140 best stuff right yeah yes my
01:40:51.800 understanding is it's all the same
01:40:53.240 brand of facial cream that's the issue
01:40:55.580 no it's it's like avon it's gonna be i
01:40:58.800 mean we're gonna have celebrities at
01:41:00.520 our door all the time yeah three four
01:41:03.040 five times a day yeah so like oh it's
01:41:05.180 Eva Longoria
01:41:06.040 like every day something every single
01:41:08.920 like oh i can't stand seeing Eva
01:41:10.860 Longoria in my house over and over and
01:41:12.780 over again pushing this damn facial
01:41:14.340 cream
01:41:14.700 you want to talk about creating jobs
01:41:17.240 though i mean trump promised to create
01:41:19.080 jobs and now he's creating we're gonna
01:41:20.640 be the king of the facial cream market i
01:41:22.660 mean we're gonna we're gonna corner
01:41:24.360 the market is something america will
01:41:26.080 be known for facial cream the home of
01:41:28.020 facial cream yeah so far we've been
01:41:29.700 relatively we haven't really been
01:41:31.500 notable no so far in our history and
01:41:33.260 we need the facial cream thing to kind
01:41:34.620 of bring us to people will notice hey
01:41:36.640 that that country with the 50 stars on
01:41:38.960 the flag is doing something over there
01:41:40.320 too i mean maybe even north korea will
01:41:42.540 show us some respect then you know look
01:41:44.960 at us and say wow it's interesting you
01:41:46.440 should bring that up kim jong-un is
01:41:48.400 retiring at the end of this year to
01:41:49.800 sell facial cream
01:41:50.800 he is too but he's a communist he's
01:41:55.420 not a capitalist i know but is that
01:41:57.300 why he's keeping it from his people
01:41:58.760 keeping
01:41:59.080 how does how does the web ad you're
01:42:03.360 clicking on right now know this
01:42:04.760 information
01:42:05.260 i don't know man the reporter is asking
01:42:08.180 all the right questions i guess off the
01:42:10.060 record
01:42:10.360 it was going fine they were just talking
01:42:13.460 about nuclear war
01:42:14.380 yeah and uh the guy said hey what about
01:42:17.420 this rumor of you with the facial
01:42:19.100 cream products
01:42:20.140 and he just broke it's true it's true
01:42:23.760 wow
01:42:24.240 wow so uh what do you think the odds
01:42:29.160 are
01:42:29.500 that donald trump
01:42:32.540 just leaves just leaves the office
01:42:36.120 well the the the author of art of the
01:42:39.560 deals has predicted that's going to
01:42:41.260 happen by the end of the year and not
01:42:42.580 he did say by the end of the year
01:42:45.280 yeah not gonna happen
01:42:46.000 no i don't i don't think it will by
01:42:47.560 the end of the year but i could see
01:42:48.680 him getting really frustrated with
01:42:50.020 this
01:42:50.340 oh i could yeah i could see him i think
01:42:53.660 breitbart's gonna start their own tv
01:42:55.260 thing
01:42:55.580 and uh you know make a home for
01:42:57.920 donald trump and it will be the
01:42:59.420 biggest deal because he will just
01:43:01.320 you know he could just leave i'm not
01:43:03.120 suggesting that he should do this
01:43:04.740 but i could see it happening i'm not
01:43:07.280 even suggesting he would but i could
01:43:08.760 see it happening i mean if he's
01:43:10.580 willing to leave for facial cream
01:43:12.040 certainly but i could see him
01:43:14.620 getting so frustrated with the news
01:43:15.860 and just going you know what
01:43:16.760 enough is enough i'm gonna start my
01:43:18.740 own uh news network i'm going over
01:43:20.620 there and he just starts a you know
01:43:24.360 an alt-right news network with
01:43:26.200 breitbart and they make commentary i
01:43:29.460 mean if he's supplementing his income
01:43:30.840 with face cream sales he might as well
01:43:32.360 do that
01:43:32.760 do you uh do you want the uh 2020 odds
01:43:36.140 to win the presidency
01:43:36.880 yeah we have those okay so donald trump
01:43:39.940 is leading the pack as the incumbent
01:43:41.480 uh three and a half to one
01:43:43.160 which is not great for an incumbent
01:43:45.280 no three and a half to one the next
01:43:47.100 highest on the list at eight to one
01:43:48.920 joe biden
01:43:50.340 oh really what he is gonna be
01:43:53.020 no way
01:43:53.980 really old
01:43:55.000 76 77
01:43:57.080 yeah but he doesn't look it because
01:43:59.300 he uses this great facial cream
01:44:01.700 really yeah that's what keeps him
01:44:04.020 looking so young under so many people
01:44:05.680 are getting out of their current
01:44:06.700 yeah
01:44:07.080 yeah
01:44:07.440 i don't think joe uses face cream
01:44:09.340 he uses the other kind of cream
01:44:11.080 which kind
01:44:12.220 the rear end cream
01:44:14.340 the
01:44:14.580 what
01:44:15.480 yes
01:44:16.040 what do you mean the rear end cream
01:44:17.760 i don't know about the rear end cream
01:44:19.580 oh yeah
01:44:20.000 you mean like
01:44:20.420 like preparation age
01:44:22.160 yeah
01:44:22.400 oh okay
01:44:23.340 what the hell is on your face
01:44:24.600 oh yeah
01:44:25.120 why would you use it on your face
01:44:26.700 because it makes you look younger
01:44:27.820 it does
01:44:28.580 yes
01:44:29.120 oh yeah
01:44:30.240 that's
01:44:30.500 he uses it on his face
01:44:31.800 that is jeffy's face
01:44:32.980 he uses it on his face
01:44:33.600 because he's an ass
01:44:34.540 that's why
01:44:36.260 it was close
01:44:36.960 but thank you
01:44:37.780 thank you for stopping yourself
01:44:39.280 um
01:44:39.860 that's interesting
01:44:40.660 oh my
01:44:41.760 uh
01:44:42.440 but it's
01:44:42.800 it's also
01:44:43.280 accurate
01:44:44.040 um
01:44:44.520 so uh
01:44:45.140 next up
01:44:45.460 so you have
01:44:45.740 trump at three and a half to one
01:44:47.220 biden at eight to one
01:44:48.600 who would you say is next on the list
01:44:50.320 biden eight to one
01:44:51.600 and the guesses
01:44:51.840 richard gephart
01:44:53.100 gephart of course is one to one
01:44:54.840 if he runs
01:44:55.240 elizabeth warren
01:44:56.500 elizabeth warren
01:44:56.920 good guess
01:44:57.380 she's next
01:44:58.140 oh
01:44:58.620 she's at 15 to one
01:44:59.680 there's someone at 12 to one
01:45:00.760 oh
01:45:01.720 it's sort of revealing i think
01:45:03.160 of the situation
01:45:04.340 at least the way people perceive it
01:45:05.700 al gore
01:45:06.220 uh hillary clinton
01:45:07.320 no
01:45:07.980 mike pence
01:45:09.320 oh
01:45:10.300 the favorite is donald trump
01:45:12.160 mike pence at 12 to one
01:45:13.460 which you could see being like
01:45:14.920 either trump decides he's not going to run again
01:45:16.920 or that's the only way
01:45:18.240 scandal or whatever
01:45:19.180 pence does not run against his president
01:45:20.520 no absolutely
01:45:21.180 no way
01:45:22.140 no way
01:45:22.740 no way
01:45:23.180 and i don't think
01:45:24.540 he
01:45:25.500 if donald trump
01:45:26.980 just serves
01:45:27.940 one term
01:45:28.860 you
01:45:29.940 mike pence
01:45:30.940 is not the guy
01:45:32.500 who's going to come in
01:45:33.780 and go
01:45:34.100 i'm going to rescue
01:45:35.840 the
01:45:36.480 he needs
01:45:37.320 he'd need
01:45:38.400 and i don't know
01:45:39.920 if he'd win
01:45:40.640 uh you know
01:45:41.600 in the second term
01:45:42.320 but he'd need at least
01:45:43.380 two years
01:45:44.100 of doing something
01:45:45.380 really really great
01:45:46.640 you're saying if he
01:45:47.720 well because if he leaves
01:45:48.700 in scandal
01:45:49.240 you're right
01:45:49.700 he'd need time to like
01:45:50.940 build up his own presence
01:45:52.280 or if he just leaves
01:45:53.180 if donald trump
01:45:54.300 just is like
01:45:54.900 you know what
01:45:55.600 screw you guys
01:45:56.220 screw you
01:45:57.020 yeah right
01:45:57.740 he'd need some time
01:45:58.560 however if trump decided
01:46:00.140 you know what
01:46:00.660 i'm not gonna
01:46:02.240 i don't want to do this anymore
01:46:03.360 we had a great success
01:46:04.240 it will change
01:46:05.280 to a republic
01:46:05.920 to a democrat
01:46:06.680 you may
01:46:07.020 let me give you some other names
01:46:08.540 bernie sanders
01:46:09.180 next at 20 to 1
01:46:10.260 deval patrick
01:46:11.600 20 to 1
01:46:12.460 kamala harris
01:46:13.780 who seems like
01:46:14.580 she's making noise
01:46:15.620 as if she's going to run
01:46:16.880 but it's at 20 to 1
01:46:18.180 wow
01:46:18.460 cory cory booker
01:46:20.180 30 to 1
01:46:20.760 that's not a zero chance thing
01:46:22.100 i think cory booker
01:46:23.000 loves the media
01:46:23.880 it's not a zero chance
01:46:25.020 terry mcauliffe
01:46:26.380 at 30 to 1
01:46:27.200 which seems impossible to me
01:46:28.500 uh tom perez
01:46:30.000 at 30 to 1
01:46:30.760 oh my gosh
01:46:31.480 al franken
01:46:32.220 35 to 1
01:46:33.100 amy klobuchar
01:46:33.840 35 to 1
01:46:35.060 andrew como
01:46:35.840 40 to 1
01:46:36.920 gavin newsom
01:46:38.280 40 to 1
01:46:39.100 listen to this democrat bench
01:46:40.580 yeah
01:46:40.940 terrible
01:46:41.660 terrible
01:46:42.080 ted cruz

01:46:54.000 i was just thinking
01:46:55.740 that this was just
01:46:57.020 all

01:47:08.780 wow

01:47:09.800 what they're assuming
01:47:10.660 of course
01:47:11.120 is that
01:47:11.620 they're not going to
01:47:13.120 challenge trump
01:47:13.960 in a primary
01:47:14.520 so they're less likely
01:47:15.580 um

01:48:11.000 just for being
01:48:12.040 a decent human being
01:48:13.660 disagree with his
01:48:14.900 politics
01:48:15.380 but he was the
01:48:16.200 only decent guy
01:48:17.360 we've seen
01:48:18.200 you know
